- 0:00Oh no, Amanda Stills the sea looks see. Well, there were some
- 0:05people like Pike. What was it about three or four months ago we heard
- 0:08about Brian Spears and you went, who Dad, Like you had no idea
- 0:12Britney Spears had a brother, Brian, who actually was a huge part of
- 0:16the Spears' family, I mean, because they were all kind of a family
- 0:21management company really. As she was kind of growing right, it was just
- 0:24weird. I'd heard of Britney Spears, I heard of Jamie Spears, I
- 0:27heard a Pickle Spears. But Brian Spears, Yeah, it was news to
- 0:32me. He popped back into her life once again, and I feel like
- 0:35it's been for the better. We do know that she's trying to reconcile with
- 0:38her kids. Those that were really close to her stay that Brian is also
- 0:42really close with the other part of the family and they really want to get
- 0:45her to move to Louisiana. Well, I don't know if this has anything
- 0:48to do with it, but he's moved in with her. That was cool.
- 0:51That's cool living with your brother at forty five years old, that would
- 0:54be interesting. Now, would you rather live with Brian Spears or Pickle Spears?
- 1:00Spicy pickle spears. No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:03just I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go pickle spears. I will only want
- 1:07the big Clawsons pickles, those big old juicy bad boys. Oh they're so
- 1:11good. And what is kosher? What the heck does that mean? That's
- 1:15the brand? It's the brand. Isn't it a thing? Though? Like
- 1:18where rabbis can only eat kosher pickles? I know I'm sounding idiot, no
- 1:23idea. All right, well I'm gonna look into it. You talk about
- 1:26this well making train or dish. It was probably three years ago that she
- 1:30had side by side toilets for her and her husband in her bathroom, which
- 1:34was bizarre to me. Well, now she wants everybody to know, Oh
- 1:37we've upgraded. They've got a new home, and they decided they wanted to
- 1:40be able to see each other. So now they have need to knee toilets.
- 1:44So talk about and a vantage point that you never would need to see.
- 1:49I mean, that's disgusting. A front view of somebody going potty.
- 1:53That's like when you walk in on somebody and I accident, it's like brific
- 1:55Oh my god. Yeah, you're not sticking around even if it is my
- 1:59wife. I don't care. Do you want to know kosher pickles? Yea.
- 2:01If we do a little education session, this would be good. Kosher
- 2:05pickles are made according to Jewish dietary laws. Well, regular pickles maybe you
- 2:09may be made using any ingredients and processing methods. Kosher pickles are typically made
- 2:15with a salt brine and flavored with garlic and dill. Interesting, So you
- 2:19weren't completely wrong, I would say I was closer to right if anything.
- 2:24That was my way of saying you weren't completely wrong. I know that's exactly
- 2:29what you said. I understand what you meant. Oh is that what you
- 2:31meant when you said did you miss me? Did you? Or do you
- 2:36want to go back to just the Pike show? I don't know me to
- 2:38sit in here playing guitar enjoying it wasn't wasn't the worst. I did notice
- 2:42you brought the guitar, And have you been having acoustic performances on air or
- 2:46just in the studio? Iman to thank you for I did bring my guitar
- 2:49into the studio because my band Low Standards Big show this weekend Sisseton Street Dance.
- 2:53If you're finding yourself with the sissitance out the Goda area just down I
- 2:58twenty nine. I never were at a few new tunes to the set.
- 3:02They sound like they're going to be great. What is That's what I've heard
- 3:06him here? What did you hear something incorrect? No? Good? I'm
- 3:09okay, great, I'm tipping my hat to ya. All right, moving
- 3:14on. It's a wrap for Ellen, she said, she is calling it
- 3:16quits. I don't think this is a surprise to anybody. We knew she
- 3:19was going to do this Netflix special and then she was going to be done.
- 3:22At a recent comedy show, she said, I'm getting out of the
- 3:23show business. This will probably be the last time you guys are going to
- 3:25see me. And then she also, I guess admitted that yes, there
- 3:30were times she was demanding and impatient and tough. She hates the fact that
- 3:34she ended up. I don't think she got pushed out of the Ellen show.
- 3:37I mean, she just knew it was probably time to hang it up.
- 3:39It was all bad timing with COVID. Remember she had a broadcast from
- 3:43home. It was just oh yeah, there was a lot going on at
- 3:45that time. She said, I do want people to know that I just
- 3:47wasn't being mean. I was just maybe tough on some people. But that's
- 3:52you have to remember she also was a business and I don't know, Yeah,
- 3:55that's pretty high level stuff, like there's gonna be it's not all going
- 3:59to be you know, damn jay now free stuff all the time, exactly.
- 4:03Some people just aren't, you know, great at handling that sort of
- 4:08pressure. There's ways to go about it. You can't just be rude just
- 4:11to be rude. But of course, you know, it's high level stuff.
- 4:14Like I said, so it's kind of like this show, like we're
- 4:15very intense in here because it's there's so much at stake, we don't have
- 4:18room for errors. Correct. Yeah, that's why. That's why. That's
- 4:23right. In the morning, Big Naty eight point seven, I had a
- 4:27story I wanted to bring up here. I got a note. It just
- 4:30says Margarita butt funnel. You know what that would be about. I am
- 4:35not I am not familiar. Oh wait here it is okay, yeah,
- 4:39yo, yeah, that's right. This story. This couple has been arrested,
- 4:42this married couple, and would you see a married couple, you know,
- 4:46being very flirty. It can be annoying, it can also be endearing.
- 4:49Like, oh, they've still got that spark. That's great. Yeah,
- 4:53there there's a fine line, though, I think we can all agree.
- 4:56Well, you tell me if this is a line. Joe and Mary
- 4:59are their names, and they've been arrested after video went viral of their behavior
- 5:03at a Mexican restaurant. So they've obviously had a few margaritas at this point,
- 5:09because sometimes it cut you off after two at some of these margarita places.
- 5:12Well, this margarita restaurant, it was a Mexican restaurant called Rodeo Mexican
- 5:16Restaurant. They were embracing this married couple Joe and Mary. In fact,
- 5:21they wanted to chug a margarita. So the server provided them with a funnel.
- 5:27Yeah, gonna go straight, you know, beer bomb with the margarita.
- 5:30Gosh, that sounds miserable, right, Well, the funnel was not
- 5:34working for whatever reason, so Joe had the idea, well, I can't
- 5:42get this funnel to work, so what other way could I funnel this margarita
- 5:46into my mouth. It was at that point Mary knew exactly what he was
- 5:50talking about, pulled her pants down. Oh stop, bens over, stop,
- 5:57and he proceeded to use her rear end as a funnel to drink the
- 6:02margarita. Yeah, and I think that's where I wrote down margerita butt funnel.
- 6:08And so this video has gone viral, yeah exactly. I mean I'm
- 6:12looking at it right now. I can't watch. That's horrific. I honestly
- 6:15can't even wrap my head around this. And this is at a restaurant.
- 6:18This is that Rodeo Mexican restaurant. Yeah, of course. So are there
- 6:21people like cheering them on? Are there people running out? The restaurant?
- 6:26Looks pretty quiet? Weird? Now you want to know how they got in
- 6:30trouble because it wasn't that night. What happened was the video went viral,
- 6:34and so Mary called the police and said, hey, there's this video of
- 6:40me and you know, my rear end getting the margarita poured down it,
- 6:43and it's we want that taken down. And the police were like, oh,
- 6:46funny, you should say that that was you in that video. And
- 6:48she's like, well, yeah, oh is that indecent exposure? That is
- 6:53correct, manna. So she literally told on herself, called the police.
- 6:57They said, okay, actually, you know what, we want to talk
- 6:59to you and your husband. They've now turned themselves in and they've been arrested
- 7:02on indecent exposure. Did the people who own the place like, was it
- 7:08a security camera footage? No, it was bystanders. Oh got it?
- 7:12Okay? So Rodeo Mexican Restaurant, for their part, had to come out
- 7:15with a statement, Dear valued customers, you recently became aware of an inappropriate
- 7:19incident that took place in a row. So you just became aware of this.
- 7:24Yeah, and they wanted to make it clear that they think that behavior
- 7:27is completely unacceptable. Okay, Yeah, yeah, you're thirsty for margarita?
- 7:31No, you know, I think I've lost my appetite. Yeah, maybe
- 7:33you Jimmy Junga, but definitely not Ada Amanda in the morning seven. If
- 7:41you are not a snake person, I would turn the radio. No,
- 7:45don't turn the radio. In fact, you should. You want to hear
- 7:46this because Amanda, the sheer amount of snakes this guy had in his pants.
- 7:51You're not gonna believe what. You're not gonna believe it. What would
- 7:55make somebody think that they should be doing this? Well, here's what happened.
- 7:59A man has has been arrested at customs. He was trying to sneak
- 8:03over one hundred live snakes into mainland China by stuffing them in his pants.
- 8:09Okay, even more bizarre the fact I feel like this has happened before.
- 8:13I feel like this is kind of an Every few months people are trying to
- 8:16smuggle things in their pants. Well, you're not far off. A man
- 8:18back in June only another man was arrested attempting to smuggle four hundred and fifty
- 8:24four endangered turtles into mainland China. How do you think? Okay, turtles,
- 8:30that feels really hard to do. That's a lot of turtles, and
- 8:33now one hundred snakes. You're thinking probably full on pythons, you know right,
- 8:37I'm like one and a conda. You don't want none. I've heard
- 8:41that, not even three, but exactly no. The guy had him zipped
- 8:50up in little drawstring bags sealed with tape all about his pants, and they
- 8:54busted him. Now what is he doing with these snakes? Which, by
- 8:58the way, there were five species. The infamous milk snake drinks milk snake.
- 9:05I've never seen it hang on like milk. The western hog nos snake.
- 9:09Okay, a milk snake is like twenty four to thirty six inches.
- 9:13These are not little snakes. Twenty four to thirty six that's not a huge
- 9:18snake. That's two pencils. What what arm pencil? What? Why is
- 9:24it? I don't know. I was trying to give a description. Two
- 9:26pencils at about twenty four to thirty six inches. She's holding a pen right
- 9:31now for reference, and so that you think that's what that? I mean
- 9:37a pen is probably my wingspan on my fingers, it's like five and a
- 9:41half inches. The last I'm going to was asking a guy about it.
- 9:45That pencil that's about eight inches. That's uh yeah, but still nonetheless not
- 9:50twenty four to thirty six Okay, So how many of these milk snakes?
- 9:56One hundred and four? No, that's total. I don't know the total,
- 9:58the breakdown of each species as far as the milk snake goes. But
- 10:01yeah, they had a couple other different kinds. Yeah, what is zira
- 10:07for me? Snake skin like boots or something? The snake, there's milk
- 10:11snake kind of colorful. What about now? What about the western hog nosed
- 10:16snake? Are you making? Oh? It shows right up. I thought
- 10:20you were making me just google stuff. Oh that looks like that'd be a
- 10:24great snake skin boots for really fast. That's how you think about these boots.
- 10:26What about Okay, so there's a corn snake, there's a trouser snake,
- 10:31and the Texas rat snake. Yeah, did they confiscate the trousers Yeah,
- 10:37that's what actually got him in jail. But what is he doing to
- 10:39this house? Still it remains to be seen. You know, it's probably
- 10:43a good thing China is trying to keep these out because you know what happened
- 10:46down in Florida at some point. So there's a python issue in Florida.
- 10:50Right, Python's just like overrunning, especially in southern Florida. No wonder you
- 10:54moved back, correct, they were moving north and to get out of there
- 10:56and so but it was because like they got over here. It's an invasive
- 11:00species, not native to the United States. So somebody got a snake in
- 11:03here and it started breeding and now there it's like a problem. You know,
- 11:07So props to China for doing what they can. And you know,
- 11:11you know, are they taking the trousers snake? You're fixated on the trousers
- 11:16snake. You toss it in there, you think I'm gonna let it go
- 11:20Hey, I'm just reading the story. Got it biking Amanda in the morning
- 11:24on seven your point seven Today's Variety. Well, hello pikeing Amanda in the
- 11:30morning. Just like that, It's already Thursday, which means it is big
- 11:33happy hour Thursday over at the local seven oh one. Gonna be great today,
- 11:37sunny eighty five. They've got a little patio out there. If you
- 11:39want to have a beer for ninety eight people get one. That sounds great
- 11:41that you should come, for sure. But Amanda, the nerve of you
- 11:46to come on here and say I just like that, it's Thursday. You've
- 11:50been on vacation for a week. This is your first day back to work.
- 11:52I know it. Just like that, it's Thursday. WHOA, what
- 11:56happened to the week? This is the longest freaking week of my life.
- 12:01Just like that, it's Thursday. It feels like it should be. Did
- 12:03you miss me? Yeah, no, I missed you. I will say.
- 12:07It's fun to have a little little something going on in here. Anyway,
- 12:11Good to have you back. How was your trip? And I keep
- 12:13saying trip, but you were at the lake? Yeah? Really low key
- 12:16vacation of course, rolled into fourth of July. We had a lot of
- 12:20family out at the lake, which was so much fun. We had probably
- 12:24twelve kids between ages six to one. You know that sounds like a personal
- 12:30nightmare of mind, But did you enjoy yourself? So that's why I'm like,
- 12:33you know, wasn't really a vacation, not so much. Did I
- 12:35take vacation days to spend with my amazing family? Yes, and I'll never
- 12:41regret that. Between untangling fishing lines, getting swimmers, itch, you got
- 12:46it, I get not. The kids all got it? Oh boy,
- 12:50making snacks, adjusting goggles. I mean really just constant, constant you're on.
- 12:56But overall it was great. Are they ever just chilling when they're at
- 12:58the lake or is it always like go, go go. They want to
- 13:01be doing something. They have a few chill moments, but honestly they're finally
- 13:03at that age where them in the water plane is kind of the chill for
- 13:07Oh that's good, which is interesting, And they started I suppose you just
- 13:11got a pontoon, right. I just remember as a kid and being at
- 13:13the lake and always wanting to go tubing, like always bugging my dad to
- 13:16bring us tubing. What time is it they've the tube popped? That was
- 13:22that was That was Oh no, that was a tragedy. That was a
- 13:24tragedy on some we have like one of the remember Big Bubba. Big Bubba
- 13:33was yeah, really rode hard for the first four days and the bottom part
- 13:37pop so we had to we're working on patching that we did. I'm sure
- 13:41the patches are coming in from China. It'll be a while. No,
- 13:45and we got one of these huge Our friends at Jane Cameren had a huge
- 13:48uh sale last week because I got one of those mega rugous ones. And
- 13:52those are the ones we grew up on. What you're saying, these things
- 13:54like we all know the nicknames of tubes, So the mega a ruckus,
- 14:00which one is that? So those are going to be like the round tubes
- 14:03that we grew up. We did not grow up the ones where you're just
- 14:05sitting there and it's like what, yes, exactly, be at a home
- 14:09on the couch. So then they had the other one that they're just not
- 14:13ready for. I don't think my kids are ready to fly off quite yet.
- 14:16Might get a little scared. You know, did you really grow up
- 14:20if your dad didn't try to kill you on a tube? I remember Lance
- 14:24Pants whipping us through the weeds like that was okay. I know he goes
- 14:28so fast and just whipping you to the side where there's like gravity is a
- 14:31thing, Like there was no other option but to barrel roll. Think some
- 14:37of the things that we did. I know I used to get so many.
- 14:41I was such a baby when I was a kid, Like I'd tell
- 14:43my dad no waves, no waves, like I didn't want that. I
- 14:46was terrified. And then of course he would and he, you know,
- 14:50have to circle back and pick me up in the water, and I'm sobbing
- 14:52screaming. That brought most dads a little bit of glory. I just couldn't
- 14:58understand why I'm telling tell you not to do that and you're doing it anyway.
- 15:03Why it's their way of going tough enough, kid, Yeah, well
- 15:05it works. Yeah, So overall it was. It was really great.
- 15:09Everybody left on Sunday, including my husband, and so much. No,
- 15:16he didn't want to take as many vacation days as I did. He doesn't
- 15:20think eight days at the lake is quite as us. He's got things to
- 15:24do. But he had left right away early Monday morning, and when he
- 15:28got up, I had got up and I'm like, he did not smell
- 15:33this, and I'm like, what is this smell? And I'm getting a
- 15:37little nervous. I had put a SENSEI on, so I'm thinking, Okay,
- 15:39maybe there was like a wire that was burning, but I'm thinking,
- 15:41okay, are we about to die? This smell is taking over the house.
- 15:46I don't know what it is. My stepdad is sleeping upstairs, the
- 15:50kids are sleeping. Nicky thing about carbon monoxide as you can't So that was
- 15:54exactly the good thing about it. That was the first thing I googled him,
- 15:56like are we about to die? And it's like, you can't smell
- 15:58that. I'm like, okay, we're safe because I can smell that.
- 16:00There's something going on share you could smell it. They call it the silent
- 16:03killer, right anyway, So my husband's like, well, hopefully you figure
- 16:07it out and leaves. Never mind, there's something on fire in this house
- 16:11right now. You enjoy your beautiful days at work. Well, I'm trying
- 16:17to save a house from burning down. So finally, like forty five minutes
- 16:19later, I go, I have to wake up Lands. It's like five
- 16:22point thirty in the morning. We're going around. He still has like the
- 16:25old school panels in the house, so I'm more like lifting all the panels
- 16:29trying to figure out if there's like a wire that's fried, what's going on.
- 16:33After two hours of detecting what it is, it was like his water
- 16:37heater head fried. So that was just like, you know, one of
- 16:41those things. We're in the middle of vacation. So then there was no
- 16:42hot water for like three days, which, to be fair, I think
- 16:45I took a shower, yeah, like really washed my hair once. The
- 16:48whole time. It appears you still haven't no idea. I got all fresh
- 16:52yesterday, new water heater than not all of that. But you know,
- 16:56every time you go on vacation, there's always a little something that happens,
- 16:59but save overall, you feel recharged, refreshed, ready to go. We
- 17:03got I mean big stuff happening here. We're going to need you one hundred
- 17:06percent for So are you ready. I'm feeling refreshed and recharge. I mean
- 17:10tomorrow is already Friday, isn't it. So the week flew by. I
- 17:12know. I told my husband yesterday I was like, gosh, I'm so
- 17:15bummed. He goes, You're literally going to be back at the lake in
- 17:18thirty six hours. Chill out and stop crying exactly. That's good to have
- 17:22you back in a minute in the morning on Big Nuty eight point seven,
- 17:29Man, I got a story for you this lady. This lady's going to
- 17:32steal your heart. Oh okay, boy, your heart is up for the
- 17:34taking. She's one hundred and eight years old. This woman named, uh
- 17:38my god, Helen Denmark turned one hundred and eight over the weekend. How
- 17:42exciting is that? Now, before I tell you what she does to you
- 17:47know, stay so youthful, I'll give you a little clip of her.
- 17:51She did it. You know, they did a whole news story for us.
- 17:52Of course, here's Helen. All right, I'll be here when I'm
- 17:57one hundred and kin the sass call her shot two years out, just like
- 18:03yeah, can you imagine? I think about this if if you were to
- 18:06live that old, like even ninety, I just feel like, you know,
- 18:11any moment literally, I know people say, oh I will any day
- 18:15I wake up is a good day. But like truly, when you get
- 18:18to that age, every day is not guaranteed at all, And you would
- 18:22normally feel that way. But being Grandma Millie, she was out at the
- 18:26lake for fourth of July, her and her boyfriend Danny just hanging out drinking
- 18:30Captain diets like it's their day jets and she howled, Now she's ninety six,
- 18:36so she'll be ninety ninety seven in December, and just still, I
- 18:40mean, she's going a little slower. She didn't stay up till three am
- 18:42like she sometimes does, but I mean animal, she would have been on
- 18:47the jet ski if it was not for rain and thunder and all of that
- 18:51on the fourth of July. So that that's a candidate right there, you
- 18:52know, to possibly hit the old triple digits. Yeah, a lot of
- 18:56her family members, I believe the oldest one was like, I want to
- 19:00say one hundred and one. Really I could be wrong, but yeah,
- 19:02you know, they say, and by they the US Census Bureau, that
- 19:06there's currently one hundred and one thousand people in the US that are one hundred
- 19:10or older. So that's quite a lot. But they do say by the
- 19:12year twenty fifty four that number is going to quadruple. So just with modern
- 19:17I was going to say, why are we living so much longer? Well,
- 19:19that's just sort of been the trend of you know, a thousand years
- 19:22ago, they were living to like twenty eight or whatever, which I guess
- 19:27feels about right now. I'm just kidding. I mean, what were they
- 19:30I think that was a sweet spot. They were dying of dysenterian such Yeah.
- 19:34Now though, yeah, with modern medicine, and who knows by twenty
- 19:37fifty four what will be cured and or what at least prolonging things? By
- 19:42this lady, Helen, she's one hundred and eight, and what keeps her
- 19:45so youthful? Well, the news Lady got the answer from her, and
- 19:48this is a Newslady reporting on it. Helen says she stays young by drinking
- 19:52wine, eating dessert, and flirting with men with mustaches. Obviously, I
- 20:00must ask you a question. Do you think she's got one liners for him?
- 20:03Or do you think she just goes up? Because I think there are
- 20:06some mustache related pickup lines. Old men feel like they can just like say
- 20:11whatever they want and we can they get away with it, you know what
- 20:14I mean? You just kind of giggle, You're like, ahaha, that's
- 20:17old stand or whatever. But with ladies, I mean, does she just
- 20:22go up? Can you like, do you just like pet it? Does
- 20:23she just I don't know. I got a couple ideas. I don't know
- 20:26if I can share, probably not, just knowing the look on your face
- 20:30right now, let's not wait is there isn't it right there? For you?
- 20:33Mustache? Really like a lady? Yeah, yep, no, gotcha.
- 20:36Frying to seduce a guy with a mustache, you could say something like,
- 20:38oh, yeah, yep, here'sing it as a mode of transportation.
- 20:45Possibly, but also the wine and dessert. Yeah, that's another interesting one.
- 20:49Two very I mean, objectively unhealthy habits. Why do you say red
- 20:53Ryan's good for the heart? Do they say that? I feel like the
- 20:56more I'm hearing because there used to be studies like, oh, four drinks
- 21:00after dinner is good for you? And dessert is I always had red wine
- 21:07for dessert, so now I can add dessert and have run. Well,
- 21:10No, I think it's just all bad. I think it's all I mean.
- 21:11I think you're you know, yeah, in moderation, you're not going
- 21:14to's not gonna kill you. I don't know. I want Helen's plan,
- 21:17Helen. You mustaches? Nick got a mustache? You ever had one?
- 21:21One time? He he joked about it and had one for about forty five
- 21:25seconds before he shaved any mustaches are just a joke at this point. There's
- 21:30not many people rocking a serious mustache. Not for me. Trending Now here's
- 21:34what you need to know. Well, things are getting pretty interesting. The
- 21:38growing movement to convince president but into withdraw from the presidential race seems to be
- 21:42picking up some momentum, especially yesterday when Peter Welch of Vermont became the first
- 21:47Democratic Senator to call for the president to drop out stadium. That would be
- 21:51for the good for the country if he just withdrew. A former House Speaker
- 21:55in Anti Pelosi said it's up to the president and saide if he's going to
- 21:56run. We are encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short.
- 22:00Actor and major Democratic donor George Clooney was very blunt and just said,
- 22:06we simply need a new nominee. President Biden doesn't seem to be backing down,
- 22:10in fact double down. He is sitting down for an interview with NBC
- 22:14Lester Holt. I guess this is all airing on Monday. I'm guessing it's
- 22:17per recorded, probably not something that's going to be live, but basically just
- 22:21showing his commitment to the race. Yeah, I mean, listen, I
- 22:23understand the urge to double down, or when people are telling you to do
- 22:27one thing, it's like, okay, we'll watch this. Yeah. But
- 22:30at the same tier, he already had half the country who definitely didn't want
- 22:33you to be president, right just because of their political beliefs, and now
- 22:37the other half that you did have, like it seems half of them don't
- 22:41want either. So this is where in the old Midwest we go. Ouf
- 22:47da. It is a big oof down. It's a big you know,
- 22:49thankfully it's not all that serious. Is just the president in the United States.
- 22:53So I took this so picking restaurant over in West Fargo. It was
- 22:59the first Chinese restaurant on Maine Avenue over there, and after more than thirty
- 23:03years, it was the first Chinese restaurant on Maine Avenue, the first Chinese
- 23:07restaurant in West Fargo. Oh, I would assume on Maine Avenue as well,
- 23:10but probably after more than thirty years of business. They announce yesterday on
- 23:15Facebook that they're calling it quits. Their last day is going to be August
- 23:17twenty fourth. They do urge people to pop on over one more time or
- 23:21huge fan maybe a few more times, because you do have some time to
- 23:23do that. But they're only cash only right now, Okay, I never
- 23:26had been there, and I love Chinese and all sorts of different See,
- 23:30I thought this was going to be devastating for you as a huge Chinese fan,
- 23:33Chinese fan lover. Ever since King House left us, it's just not
- 23:37been the same for me. You know, I really haven't established a new
- 23:41home for Chinese food. What I just I also forgot you're a big buffet
- 23:47fan. Well, and I don't know if they have a buffore I've been
- 23:49doing. I've been going to what's mister walk on Veterans, so this you
- 23:52know near us, and it's just easy, got it. It's also good
- 23:56for like self control because if I am at a buffet, it's like there's
- 23:59no limit to what I'll eat. I don't why you're giggling. This is
- 24:02my life. You're hawking. So I'm just there's just nothing, all right,
- 24:08I'm a dying and know what has you? All? Free? Stuff?
- 24:12The giggles. Your reports say that Travis and Taylor spend one hundred thousand
- 24:17dollars a day, which is about twenty seven million dollars together since they've been
- 24:22together and it's about a year. Did I say something? Did I?
- 24:26You didn't. I was just stumbling and fumbling in some of the things I
- 24:30was saying. Just I'll have to take take a listen back, you'll have
- 24:33to. I hope you're not trying to make fun of King. Howse bring
- 24:37up that old not even? Oh no, okay, because I know back
- 24:41then you were pretty pretty rude about the whole situation. No, I mean
- 24:45it questionable. Yeah, but no, every good restaurant has pigeons caged in
- 24:49the basement. Okay, it's just it's just how it is. We've moved
- 24:52on to Taylor and Travis and they're spending more in a day on jets and
- 24:56security than the average US two income home brings in a year. But hey,
- 25:00it's the price of love, baby. I love that they're sacrificing all
- 25:04of their money. Yeah, jets are very expensive to operate from what I
- 25:08understand. It'll be you ever written on a PJ With a PJ, it's
- 25:14kind of an if you know, you know, oh private jet? Yeah
- 25:17exactly once twice? Yeah for life. But I will tell you this,
- 25:23did you realize? And a lot of people are gonna get excited about it.
- 25:26There's already been some rumors that Travis Kelcey is supposed to be proposing to
- 25:30Taylor on their one year anniversary. Oh spoiler, don't see that happen.
- 25:33He can't do it now. I think us idiots are talking about it.
- 25:37But it was a day or two ago. That was his first concert going
- 25:40to see her, and that's when it all kind of started. So I
- 25:42don't know, and I don't know if any of us really know the official
- 25:45date when they started dating. I don't know either. Did you see that
- 25:48he went to another show with Patrick Mahomes and Bill Belichick? Yes? Awesome?
- 25:52Was Bill Belichick's girlfriend there? I would assume I didn't see that the
- 25:57school out, I don't know. It's summer, okay, but she's a
- 26:03cheerleader still. Oh yeah, yeah so Bill brad practice, but he's a
- 26:07big swiftye Bill Belichick. Yeah that was super cute. Did you see she
- 26:11did a whole like ensemble, like three songs about him? And oh yeah,
- 26:15you started crying. I know. They're so okay, big baby,
- 26:18like in the morning, big naety eight point seven to your parent. I
- 26:22am. They just did the study and it turns out thirty three percent of
- 26:26parents. That's roughly one in three. And I took the advanced math that
- 26:30dors Quinnon Felm. Thirty three percent of parents don't know how to fold laundry
- 26:36correctly. Now what is does that mean? Yeah? Exactly that is.
- 26:41I mean you've seen it all over social media. There's like four or five
- 26:44different ways to fold a towel or do whatever, and everybody does it differently.
- 26:48Yeah. There, and there's no law, there's no standard, right,
- 26:51and you can you can roll it up in a ball. Yeah.
- 26:52The good news for me is that I do all the laundry in the house,
- 26:56so it doesn't matter. Oh so, well, you're the one.
- 26:59It's not like my husband is. He's not folding or putting towy clothes.
- 27:02That's that's not his thing. But that's your answer. You're the one who's
- 27:04in charge of it, so it doesn't matter. The correct way to do
- 27:07it is how you do it. Like I remember growing up, and the
- 27:10only one that was gonna yell at you for doing it incorrectly was the one,
- 27:14like my stepmom in this case. You know, so, how do
- 27:17you like what? For example, like a T shirt? I always really
- 27:18to hang them up, So I like to hang as many things as possible.
- 27:22That's kind of my jam. My husband does have a few shirts that
- 27:26like fold workout type shirts, Like I just throw those in the closet.
- 27:30Yeah, I try to fold them. And see, I'm very weird.
- 27:33I fold things differently all the time. Yeah, Like beach towels out at
- 27:37the lake, I'm folding different than my regular towels in. I don't know,
- 27:41I don't have any weird Yeah, Like I'm not super anal about that,
- 27:45which is kind of odd because I am about a lot of things right
- 27:47as long as you're doing them all the same way. You know, towels,
- 27:51there's so many ways you can do that. A lot of ways to
- 27:52skin a cat would be the way to say it. Exactly know where that
- 27:56came from. But twenty five percent of people in the same survey admit they
- 28:00were never taught how to mow the lawn or do yard work. Oh you
- 28:03know, yesterday I was going to hop on the lawn mower. The day
- 28:07kind of got away from me last over at the lake. Yes, because
- 28:11there's a lot of a lot of space out there, and I told Lance
- 28:14Pants, I'm like, hush, you know, what let me hop on,
- 28:15let me go and mow the lawn because it had been so long.
- 28:18But I remember growing up and that was my chore and it took like an
- 28:22hour and I couldn't do anything unless I did that, and it was every
- 28:26Wednesday. Yeah, and it would just drive me crazy. But now there's
- 28:30something relaxing about it. Especially around owing. It is the best. Yeah,
- 28:33riding mower, I've never used to push. My husband's like, I'll
- 28:36teach you. I'm like, I think, I think if I'm going to
- 28:38be doing the laundry, you can do them. You can do the mowing.
- 28:41Push mowing is terrible, But riding on a mower. And I've worked
- 28:45at golf courses and that's some of my favorite work I've ever done, is
- 28:48just throwing the headphones in and riding on a mower. Something about it.
- 28:52I'm with you, ye kind of relaxing. Yeah, well then I'm just
- 28:57thinking about that mode job I had in the day. I will still hiring
- 29:02I do. I came home last night and when I went outside to let
- 29:06the dog out. My husband does a great job about the lines and everything
- 29:11like that. But I always because we have like an upper deck, I
- 29:12always see a little something. And that is one thing I don't ever say
- 29:17out loud, like oh, when there's a little space of the long grass,
- 29:19a little something. I try not to, but when I do notice,
- 29:22I'm like it, hits. I'm gonna give you a little tip,
- 29:26your little husband tip. Don't say a thing about the grass. I know.
- 29:29This is why. This is why when I know he gets upset sometimes
- 29:33away I do the laundry. This isn't the underlying like you just don't speak
- 29:37in No, just get scissors out of the drawer in the kitchen where you
- 29:41keep the scissors and the tape measure and everything, and you go out there
- 29:42and snip those long blades. Okay, Ananda in the morning on Big seven,
- 29:48I'd like to give another congratulations here if I could. I just was
- 29:52looking at my phone in my little calendar af see what's on the docket for
- 29:55today, and I forgot I put in there that today is my mom's twenty
- 29:59year a sobriety date. Twenty years of sobriety. I mean, that is
- 30:03an incredible, truly incredible good for her. Not even I mean you had
- 30:07to be there to understand truly how incredible it is. You know, so
- 30:11I always tell people, you know, if she can do it, you
- 30:14can't if you want. It's not easy, of course, but you know,
- 30:17just like to give her a little love. I know she's sleeping right
- 30:19now. I'd call her if I could, but oh, sleeping in a
- 30:22little big sleepyhead. So I'll get together with her today. But you know,
- 30:26that's a that's a big one. So props to her. And if
- 30:29anybody out there is inspired by it, then great, absolutely, And you're
- 30:33right, I know there's people in our family. The struggle is really real.
- 30:37Oh yeah, right, And I think a lot of people go through
- 30:41that and trying to get past and that's just it. Though. Is there
- 30:45a certain point you even get past where it is easier because it's got to
- 30:48be a challenge every single day. Yeah, it's you know, she just
- 30:52got to the point where it was there's no other way. I mean,
- 30:56like you just couldn't and it really changed the trajectory of well, obviously her
- 30:59life, but all too you know, as kids. But uh, yeah,
- 31:02I'm to the point now where I never even you know, for some
- 31:04time, you're always wondering like when it's not if it's when when, Yeah,
- 31:07she's gonna, you know, do it again, but no, twenty
- 31:11years it's pretty I feel pretty locked in as far as where we're att Well,
- 31:15that makes me really happy. Yeah, she does say she shared,
- 31:18you know, because we'll go out to lunch and we'll have a beer or
- 31:19whatever, me and my siblings. But she's like, you know, I
- 31:22do, I do miss like I wish I could just have a couple of
- 31:26drinks with you guys, you know, because it's you know, objectively fun
- 31:30when you're just having a couple of cocktails right. Well, and we live
- 31:33in an area and I feel like society just in general, it's like,
- 31:37yeah, that's just kind of the thing to do for a lot of people.
- 31:40And you know, it's been really cool. Dustin from Happy Har's Bttle
- 31:41Shops, he comes in of course every Friday, but just even seeing the
- 31:45turn of events from so many people going to an a there was a couple
- 31:48of people out of the lake having n a beers over the weekend. They've
- 31:52really just come a long way with just mixology in general. Well, the
- 31:55options. Yeah, she talked about course back in the day having to just
- 31:57drink o duels like that was you that was your only option and it was
- 32:00not good because briggsy is what he'll be four And I remember there was like
- 32:07it felt like there was only three versions of beer at the time, Like
- 32:08just to see how far like post COVID, how many people kind of just
- 32:13quit drinking in general because they hit rock bottom. I think there was a
- 32:15lot of so many people from home April twenty wedding, we were all just,
- 32:21you know, cracking another drink in the afternoon because what the heck else
- 32:23is he going to do? Yeah, and just to see how far we've
- 32:27come with that. So that's good twenty years mom sober so props to her.
- 32:30I know she's yes, definitely not listening, but I'll tell her I
- 32:32said it anyway, give her, give her a hug from me. Now
- 32:36we're going to I'm treating her to lunch. I guess, Hey, if
- 32:38I were to guess, you don't know the place, it's not gonna it's
- 32:43it's either a Chinese buffet or McDonald's. Those are those are the only two.
- 32:46I'm not going to say it one way or the other. Let's just
- 32:49say it's up in North Fargo and it's on University. It's just an it's
- 32:53an old it's been around for What's an old joint that's been there for a
- 32:57while. Yeah, is it on the corner, the big yellow sign.
- 33:00Yeah, you guys come in. Well, you're trying to pronounce the golden
- 33:06arch, you're trying to sound out the m Yeah. Man, we're going
- 33:09to m mostly for the coffee. I might get a mcdouble, Okay,
- 33:15I'm mcdoubl.
