- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost famous podcast with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Everybody's Bob Getty here, of course I'm a little bit
- 0:07Speaker 2: famous with Farmer Wants of Life. We are talking about
- 0:11Speaker 2: the finale tonight. I am joined by super producer to
- 0:15Speaker 2: the Stars, Heather Monday, and I am telling you, guys,
- 0:18Speaker 2: what a crazy episode we have for you today.
- 0:22Speaker 1: And you believe we made it to the end already.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sad. I'm a little sad too, but
- 0:31Speaker 1: there's so much that we have to talk to you
- 0:33Speaker 1: about this, you know, episode, But I just want to
- 0:36Speaker 1: kind of know overall your thoughts on this season and
- 0:42Speaker 1: did you think that we were going to actually end?
- 0:45Speaker 1: Spoiler alert spoiler. I have to say that before you
- 0:48Speaker 1: keep on listening. We are talking details about the finale.
- 0:52Speaker 3: People.
- 0:53Speaker 1: If you have not watched the finale, this is your alert. Okay,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm going back in ye.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Yeah, only keep it on if you want to hear it,
- 0:59Speaker 2: because we're talking.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Did you think that we were going to see an
- 1:05Speaker 1: engagement out of this?
- 1:07Speaker 2: I gotta be honest, I I think The Bachelor would
- 1:12Speaker 2: be so much more successful if they didn't force that element, right,
- 1:16Speaker 2: And so I actually really loved the fact that in
- 1:20Speaker 2: my mind, I was not expecting an engagement. Now if
- 1:25Speaker 2: one were to have happened, I would have literally lost
- 1:27Speaker 2: my mind because I was watching this while driving.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I know, that's the horrible thing about I have to
- 1:32Speaker 1: stop doing that, doing.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Two hour drive on my hands, and I'm like, you know,
- 1:36Speaker 2: I tuned it on and I'm like, oh my god,
- 1:39Speaker 2: I was losing my mind with the way this thing
- 1:42Speaker 2: was edited.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I mean, it was really good.
- 1:45Speaker 1: We have to we have to shout out the editors
- 1:48Speaker 1: on Farmer Wants a Wife because I was thinking about
- 1:52Speaker 1: this today and I was thinking.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Bachelor editors, what are you doing?
- 1:56Speaker 1: Because this is the way to edit a finale and
- 2:04Speaker 1: what they do, guys, for the if you haven't seen
- 2:07Speaker 1: him for some reason, you're listening. Because somebody did dm
- 2:09Speaker 1: us last week that they actually listened to our episodes
- 2:12Speaker 1: before they watched the episodes, which I think that I know.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I'm like, don't do that, but if whatever floats your boat.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But if for some reason you haven't watched, what they
- 2:22Speaker 1: do is in this final episode, they show the girls
- 2:27Speaker 1: getting ready, they show them getting into the car, and
- 2:31Speaker 1: then they show them getting out of the car, but
- 2:33Speaker 1: they intercut both conversations the farmer is having with his
- 2:38Speaker 1: final two. So you actually have no idea because sometimes
- 2:43Speaker 1: they'll do a tight shot on him and he is
- 2:46Speaker 1: now starting to deliver the breakup and they pull back,
- 2:49Speaker 1: and that's when you see who he's actually talking to
- 2:52Speaker 1: in that moment.
- 2:53Speaker 3: And then also they would intertwine his compliments. Let's say Braiden.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Let's say Braid for example, he's giving a compliment you
- 3:01Speaker 2: look absolutely beautiful.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Oh my god, I've had such a wonderful experience with you.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I've loved this.
- 3:06Speaker 2: And they're showing one and then he's still in your
- 3:08Speaker 2: mind talking to the same person and they show the
- 3:10Speaker 2: other one, and you're like, what the hell's going on here?
- 3:13Speaker 3: And I gotta be honest, I loved it because it
- 3:16Speaker 3: gives you. I think it gives you.
- 3:19Speaker 2: A little bit more insight into this experience and how
- 3:24Speaker 2: you do have some really parallel feelings for two different
- 3:28Speaker 2: people because you're you've gone through this wacky experience and
- 3:32Speaker 2: you're at the end. Neither one of them again, both
- 3:36Speaker 2: I mean all six women and all three guys. Great
- 3:41Speaker 2: casting and all I mean both women for example with
- 3:44Speaker 2: Braid and both women with Brett. Both women with with Sean.
- 3:50Speaker 2: All six of them stunningly.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Beautiful, Yeah, really lovely people, and you can tell.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I mean, they all seem to have nice relationships with
- 3:58Speaker 2: each other, and it's like you get down the end
- 4:00Speaker 2: and yeah, you can feel this way about two people. Granted,
- 4:04Speaker 2: your heart's leading me in one direction over another, but yeah,
- 4:07Speaker 2: these feelings are parallel to one another because you're dealing
- 4:10Speaker 2: with some really nice people.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Who have given up a lot of time exactly. So
- 4:14Speaker 3: it's crazy. I loved it.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Well, let's dive into it and give some some details.
- 4:19Speaker 1: So we start with Farmer Braiden, and for anybody listening
- 4:24Speaker 1: right now, just know we will be talking tomorrow with
- 4:29Speaker 1: Farmer Braden and his winner, so definitely stay tuned for
- 4:32Speaker 1: that episode. But his final two are Casey and Brittany.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And let's just get this out of the way now.
- 4:41Speaker 1: By aham, Bob was right the entire time. Guys, I mean,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I fell prey to the edit so hard on this
- 4:51Speaker 1: whole season. It's actually slightly embarrassing that I am somebody
- 4:58Speaker 1: who works on these shows. I think they got me.
- 5:01Speaker 1: They really did know what it is.
- 5:03Speaker 2: You know what it is. I think you were you
- 5:05Speaker 2: were just you do know how the how the sausage
- 5:08Speaker 2: is made right, and I kind I kind of know,
- 5:11Speaker 2: you know, from having done this stuff, but I don't really.
- 5:14Speaker 4: But I watched so many more of these shows than
- 5:17Speaker 4: you do.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Like it's actually embarrassing that I was really off the mark.
- 5:22Speaker 1: But I will say I was right where it counts, right,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I was right.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Yes, I was.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I was really right on that one.
- 5:29Speaker 3: So yeah.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Anyways, his final two are Casey and Brittany, And like
- 5:34Speaker 1: we said, they do this whole back and forth thing,
- 5:36Speaker 1: back and forth thing. I really I noted what the
- 5:39Speaker 1: ladies were wearing too, because I do. I'll throw I'll
- 5:41Speaker 1: try to throw up some pictures of their outfits on
- 5:44Speaker 1: our socials because I thought everybody was looking real cute.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yeah, the guys look really nice too, like a very
- 5:52Speaker 2: very comfortable but very like cowboy formal.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Did you see kind of what they did with the flowers,
- 5:59Speaker 1: Like on Farm Brandon there is a tractor in the
- 6:02Speaker 1: background with the flowers, like on the tractor, like they
- 6:05Speaker 1: were really going for me me in that in this finale.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Farm formal farmer formal, farmer formal.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I love it.
- 6:14Speaker 3: You can use that.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna take take that one probably for my Bob.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Put that in your lexicon of terminology to utilize.
- 6:21Speaker 1: The stuff that we said this season. Lip fertilizer is
- 6:25Speaker 1: never going to leave my brain, that's for sure.
- 6:27Speaker 3: That's so.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Britney's wearing a cream colored dress that's got little black
- 6:31Speaker 1: details on it, and Casey is in this like rainbow.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Sherbet dress that is Strbert Surebet Subert Subbert.
- 6:41Speaker 3: And it is.
- 6:42Speaker 1: They both look so cute, and so they're doing this
- 6:44Speaker 1: intermitt thing and then Britney it's it's that's where it
- 6:50Speaker 1: all turns. And you know, because he starts out really
- 6:55Speaker 1: nervous and he says, I'm at a loss for word.
- 6:58Speaker 1: She makes him a loss for word, and that's when
- 7:00Speaker 1: I was like, ooh, I'm right, Like he's really like giddy,
- 7:05Speaker 1: and then he starts to say things like he thought
- 7:09Speaker 1: she was kind of quiet and reserved at first, and
- 7:12Speaker 1: then here's the word. But yeah, the butt comes in
- 7:17Speaker 1: and everything shifts.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah, her face just drops. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
- 7:25Speaker 1: He knows she's passionate about her career and he doesn't
- 7:29Speaker 1: want to be the one to take that from her.
- 7:32Speaker 1: And he's saying that this isn't you know, a lack
- 7:35Speaker 1: of feelings and that this is very hard for him.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And she's immediately shocked by this and disappointed, and she
- 7:44Speaker 1: just keeps going mm hmm, yeah, yeah, yeah, she she
- 7:49Speaker 1: you know.
- 7:50Speaker 3: This takes me back.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Okay, so I'll never forget my season the Bachelor. I
- 7:54Speaker 2: have to tell one of the women that I have
- 7:56Speaker 2: to do the butt thing right where it's like, you know,
- 7:58Speaker 2: you've been amazing. But and I remember we were holding
- 8:01Speaker 2: hands and she drops my hands and is standing with
- 8:05Speaker 2: her arms by side, so does Brittany.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I was just going to say that happens here.
- 8:09Speaker 3: It was flashback for me. I'm like, hurt as I'm
- 8:12Speaker 3: driving down the highway, Wait a minute, what is going
- 8:14Speaker 3: on here?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Holding hands immediately drops. He also tries to hug her.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Yeah, she can't get out other fast enough man, huh.
- 8:23Speaker 1: She and she bolts and she bolts out of there,
- 8:26Speaker 1: and immediately producer runs in.
- 8:29Speaker 3: You see the camera. I did love this. I love
- 8:31Speaker 3: this part of the edit.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Yeah, And I'm like, oh, that's nice.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And producer goes running in and like at first, she
- 8:42Speaker 1: kind of like stops, and then the producer hugs her
- 8:45Speaker 1: because she doesn't doesn't understand what's like happening in this moment.
- 8:49Speaker 2: That was a good move by the producer because I
- 8:50Speaker 2: think Brittany would have motored through that producer like she
- 8:53Speaker 2: would have run that check.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Down as a producer.
- 8:55Speaker 4: This this is part of the job.
- 8:57Speaker 1: And this is I've said in the past, crappy time.
- 9:00Speaker 1: It's hard for me as an empathetic person to like
- 9:05Speaker 1: watch these kinds of moments happen because I would start
- 9:09Speaker 1: to cry the talents crying. It is just like it's
- 9:12Speaker 1: it's rough and you have to kind of like put
- 9:14Speaker 1: that behind you. And the producer encourages her. You know,
- 9:19Speaker 1: she's like crying on her shoulder saying things that she's
- 9:22Speaker 1: you know, you know, surprised by this, and she the
- 9:26Speaker 1: producers like you should go, tell him that you should
- 9:28Speaker 1: go back in there, good good work, and she does,
- 9:33Speaker 1: and you know, Brittany goes back in there and says
- 9:36Speaker 1: why not me? And I wrote gut punch in the notes.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Because that is that's raw and real right there.
- 9:46Speaker 1: It is why not me?
- 9:49Speaker 4: It can't get more pointed than that.
- 9:51Speaker 1: And you can see a shift in Farmer Branden from
- 9:54Speaker 1: the first niceties and how he's trying to you know,
- 9:58Speaker 1: be and how he kind of gets it's a little
- 10:00Speaker 1: bit more direct when she comes back, because she's being
- 10:03Speaker 1: more direct.
- 10:03Speaker 2: She is just she's on one well, she's basically demanding
- 10:06Speaker 2: it from him, right. It's like she's like, why not
- 10:09Speaker 2: me tell me right now?
- 10:09Speaker 1: Why not?
- 10:10Speaker 3: And so he's got no choice.
- 10:12Speaker 2: But you know, here's here's the thing about about how
- 10:14Speaker 2: he handles this, because you know, in that moment, yes,
- 10:18Speaker 2: you care about this person and you don't want to
- 10:20Speaker 2: hurt them, but you also want to get to the
- 10:24Speaker 2: woman you are in love with. And it's like, so
- 10:27Speaker 2: you've got a choice to make, and your choices keep
- 10:31Speaker 2: on going down this path of preservation or I got
- 10:35Speaker 2: to rip the band aid off because I need to
- 10:36Speaker 2: tell Casey.
- 10:37Speaker 3: I'm in love with her. You know, it's exactly and
- 10:39Speaker 3: he basically you almost see this thing happen.
- 10:42Speaker 2: And it is tough because, I mean, let's be honest,
- 10:44Speaker 2: Brittany is stunning, she's funny, she's they have this great
- 10:48Speaker 2: chemistry about them. But there's and you know, I'm sure
- 10:52Speaker 2: he'll say it when we talk to him, but it's
- 10:54Speaker 2: one of those things where she hasn't done anything wrong,
- 10:56Speaker 2: no wrong, it's just Casey's done more right for him.
- 11:00Speaker 3: You know, it's all it is.
- 11:01Speaker 1: None of these girls have done anything wrong. It is
- 11:05Speaker 1: Farmer wants a wife. Guys, it is the men's journey.
- 11:10Speaker 1: They have to make the tough decisions. These are not
- 11:13Speaker 1: let's kumbaya sit around and all talk about who I
- 11:16Speaker 1: should match up with. He has this burden on his
- 11:20Speaker 1: shoulders that he has to carry out. And so you know,
- 11:23Speaker 1: she gets in the car and producers keep in her
- 11:27Speaker 1: actually sobbing inside the car. They play that audio, which
- 11:31Speaker 1: was rough to listen to because she keeps saying, you
- 11:35Speaker 1: know that she feels stupid.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Well, isn't that part of it too, Heather?
- 11:39Speaker 2: I mean you've been on that seat where you've had
- 11:41Speaker 2: to talk to people who are just leaving a show,
- 11:43Speaker 2: and you know, listen, we all know, I mean, no
- 11:46Speaker 2: one breaks up in front of millions of people, No
- 11:49Speaker 2: until this moment, right, And so.
- 11:50Speaker 1: It is you do feel stupid all of a sudden,
- 11:52Speaker 1: of course, of course, And I mean who knows what
- 11:58Speaker 1: was being said to her before filming that gassed her
- 12:02Speaker 1: up or made her you know what I mean? Like, yeah,
- 12:05Speaker 1: it's just it's rough all around. And this was by
- 12:10Speaker 1: far in this finale. This was the roughest of the breakups.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I mean, talk about a cake walk for the other guys.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I even thought about that too while watching the other
- 12:21Speaker 2: two guys. I'm like, this is so easy compared to
- 12:24Speaker 2: what port Braden decided to go through.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I mean literally, Braiden went through the roughest of it all,
- 12:29Speaker 1: and so you know, but obviously he chooses Casey and
- 12:32Speaker 1: he says, you know, this sweet line that it's always
- 12:37Speaker 1: been you and he wants to navigate the hard stuff
- 12:41Speaker 1: with her.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Oh, oh my god, that's my Guy's my girl.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Just so cute. They hugged, they kiss.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I love these two absolutely adorable and so we can't
- 12:55Speaker 1: wait to talk to them tomorrow. Guys, we have so
- 12:57Speaker 1: many questions. So then we go over to Farmer Brett's farm.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Before we do, let's just say this, were you loving
- 13:16Speaker 2: the kiss between Braden and Casey after she is like,
- 13:22Speaker 2: they just they have a great kiss.
- 13:24Speaker 3: They do?
- 13:25Speaker 1: I mean, the kisses were good in this series. Doesn't
- 13:31Speaker 1: It's not a lot of hat action happening in this finale.
- 13:35Speaker 1: And I appreciate that, producer too, I really do. It's
- 13:40Speaker 1: a freaking dating show. I need to see some lippy
- 13:42Speaker 1: lip action. But back to Brett. We've got to talk
- 13:47Speaker 1: about how this episode, you know, every it's all the same, right,
- 13:51Speaker 1: they're getting guessed up, they're getting ready, they're feeling the nerves.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Is this the first time we've seen Farmer Brett without
- 13:59Speaker 1: a cowboy hat on? Because whoa? I was like, I
- 14:03Speaker 1: was like, volume, hello, volume, what do you use, Farmer Brett?
- 14:09Speaker 4: Are we doing moose?
- 14:11Speaker 3: Like?
- 14:11Speaker 4: Are we doing a hair blow dryer?
- 14:14Speaker 1: That thing had length, it stood, it had depth to it.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I was actually a little surprised when I saw it.
- 14:23Speaker 1: I did not think that was what was under the hat.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I was pleasantly surprised. Let's just say that way, Brett,
- 14:30Speaker 1: you can do no wrong. And this finale you even
- 14:33Speaker 1: you even brought out some good things too, which which.
- 14:35Speaker 4: I really liked.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Uh So, you know, he says he's feeling a little
- 14:39Speaker 1: bit nervous. Hannah says she's feeling kind of content and calm,
- 14:43Speaker 1: and Quinn says she's feeling like a mess. She goes,
- 14:47Speaker 1: I'm a mess and I feel weird.
- 14:50Speaker 3: You know, Yeah, I love honest, Man's keep it together.
- 14:54Speaker 3: She's like, I'm a disaster.
- 14:57Speaker 1: So Hannah shows up She's wearing a t black dress
- 15:00Speaker 1: and Quinn is wearing a cream dress with these like
- 15:04Speaker 1: little red roses on it. And I was thinking, Quinn,
- 15:08Speaker 1: somebody's got to steal that dress for a bachelor bachelorette
- 15:12Speaker 1: finale because that had that was a bachelor dress when
- 15:15Speaker 1: I saw that, Well.
- 15:16Speaker 2: They both look so cute. So they're like walking down
- 15:20Speaker 2: the thing and smiling, and it's like, yeah, you know,
- 15:22Speaker 2: part of me is like, you know, I hate this
- 15:25Speaker 2: part of the show because I know, I know one
- 15:30Speaker 2: one person is not going to be smiling like that
- 15:32Speaker 2: at the end. But when they're walking down there, in
- 15:34Speaker 2: that excitement and that joy when they see each other
- 15:38Speaker 2: and I mean here again, Brett had that joy seeing
- 15:42Speaker 2: both of them like it wasn't he and he was
- 15:44Speaker 2: genuine and they were both seeing him genuinely happy to
- 15:48Speaker 2: see him.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Like that's is when you know these guys are handling
- 15:50Speaker 3: this stuff right.
- 15:51Speaker 1: You didn't do the inner cutting on fire Brett, No,
- 15:55Speaker 1: not at all. They like they showed them getting ready,
- 15:58Speaker 1: but as soon as she got into the car and
- 16:00Speaker 1: she got out, it was all Hannah, we had that
- 16:03Speaker 1: full moment. So they didn't do any of that splicing
- 16:05Speaker 1: on this one truly because it wasn't because it wasn't
- 16:08Speaker 1: dramatic at all. The whole situation was not dramatic because Hannah,
- 16:14Speaker 1: you know, says right off the bat that you know,
- 16:18Speaker 1: when she came into this, she had zero expectations. But
- 16:21Speaker 1: I loved about what she said is that she says
- 16:25Speaker 1: Brett showed her what it was like to be heard
- 16:28Speaker 1: and seen and that it's okay.
- 16:30Speaker 3: It all said the same part.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I don't know if you noticed that, but each of them,
- 16:34Speaker 2: each of the women were saying, I feel seen by
- 16:38Speaker 2: by you, And I thought, uh, you know, is it
- 16:41Speaker 2: is it the amazing thing that we used in The
- 16:43Speaker 2: Bachelor for everything right? Or was this something where you know,
- 16:47Speaker 2: in talking to a producer that the producer, you know,
- 16:51Speaker 2: maybe allowed them to say that, because I mean, this
- 16:55Speaker 2: is it's it's it's real right to feel seen, it's.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Real feel relations.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Sure, yeah, it feels a little to me not language
- 17:05Speaker 1: that a twenty something uses.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Yeah, so maybe it was a producer so you feel
- 17:10Speaker 3: a little Yeah it was a.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Little chit chat with a producer or because if you guys,
- 17:15Speaker 1: don't think that the producers are chatting with all of
- 17:17Speaker 1: them and helping them kind of bundle their nervous thoughts
- 17:21Speaker 1: together into cohesive sentences that feel like them and that
- 17:25Speaker 1: they are allowed to say the way that they want.
- 17:28Speaker 1: You're wrong, but that's my feeling. It didn't feel like
- 17:32Speaker 1: twenty something year old language. But to me, it's not really.
- 17:38Speaker 1: It doesn't rub me too wrong on this. You know,
- 17:42Speaker 1: Brett right away says this wasn't easy for him, and
- 17:47Speaker 1: her face immediately turns downwards, and he says, this is
- 17:54Speaker 1: the end of their.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Romantic Germanic journey.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but he knows they are going to be friends forever.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Where Brett, there was no confusion. This man says this
- 18:07Speaker 1: is the end. I was like, hey man, yeah it was.
- 18:12Speaker 3: It was a pretty damn good delivery, I will say that.
- 18:15Speaker 2: And I also loved it though, because I almost I
- 18:19Speaker 2: felt like, for a hot second there, Hannah knew, you know,
- 18:23Speaker 2: she knew that she loved him, but they seen him
- 18:25Speaker 2: more of a friendship connection.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I think Hannah knew before she got in the car,
- 18:31Speaker 1: even when she was doing her makeup. She said, I'm content,
- 18:35Speaker 1: and I think she's been hanging out with Quinn. It's
- 18:39Speaker 1: the two of them. She sees the vibe and if
- 18:43Speaker 1: you don't think that. Those two talked after the last
- 18:45Speaker 1: one on one dates and Hannah was like, he didn't
- 18:48Speaker 1: kiss me, and Gwinn was like, well, he kissed me.
- 18:51Speaker 1: It's like, come on, It's like I think Hannah knew.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I think she knew. And because there's zero tears, guys,
- 18:58Speaker 1: and then when he says this, and she says she
- 19:03Speaker 1: feels like she's gotten closer to the future she wants
- 19:06Speaker 1: and he showed her that nice guys exist. Oh my god,
- 19:12Speaker 1: I loved that. I loved it.
- 19:15Speaker 3: I was like this, I love this damn show. I'm
- 19:17Speaker 3: telling you, man, I just do.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I love this guy was so nice and just so
- 19:22Speaker 1: cool in how he navigated everything. And I really, really,
- 19:30Speaker 1: I really hope that Quinn and Hannah are maintaining a
- 19:35Speaker 1: friendship after the show, because those two were adorable.
- 19:39Speaker 2: It seems like they will because I mean, Hannah even
- 19:42Speaker 2: said she's like, I feel all like I've got a
- 19:45Speaker 2: great friend friending Quinn, like there was yeah, they were,
- 19:47Speaker 2: you know, and she's like, you know, if if you
- 19:50Speaker 2: choose or when you choose Quinn, if you choose Quinn
- 19:53Speaker 2: or whatever.
- 19:53Speaker 3: She said.
- 19:53Speaker 2: It was almost like she had to qualify it because
- 19:55Speaker 2: she you know, didn't want to give away that she
- 19:57Speaker 2: knew it right. Yeah, but it was one of those
- 19:58Speaker 2: things where she's like, you know, like I think you
- 20:00Speaker 2: guys will be happy, and I'm excited for you.
- 20:02Speaker 3: It was like, I'm like, I've said there going what
- 20:04Speaker 3: now like this, this isn't supposed to happen.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I want, you know, I know, but I shouldn't say
- 20:09Speaker 2: I want because I don't want what Branden had to
- 20:12Speaker 2: go through.
- 20:13Speaker 3: That's that's brutal.
- 20:14Speaker 1: No, that was that was right.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I loved seeing this.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm a little surprised, honestly that we didn't get another
- 20:21Speaker 1: one of those we'll we'll get to it. But Quinny
- 20:25Speaker 1: the winner arrives and they do the Brett does this
- 20:30Speaker 1: a little cute wave to her like that when she's
- 20:32Speaker 1: walking up, which is just adorable. I was just like,
- 20:36Speaker 1: and he's smiling, and he says from the beginning, there
- 20:41Speaker 1: was always something about her and the fact that they
- 20:43Speaker 1: can look at each other. We had to get eye
- 20:45Speaker 1: contact in there one more time. The fact that they
- 20:47Speaker 1: can look at each other and just know he appreciates
- 20:51Speaker 1: her for being real. He loves that about her. He
- 20:54Speaker 1: says that, he says that's he loves that about her,
- 20:58Speaker 1: and Quinn said it hasn't been easy for her to
- 21:01Speaker 1: be fully who she is, but he makes her feel safe.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Oh my god, I love it. And then Brett says, Quinny,
- 21:08Speaker 1: you want to see how this goes and they kiss.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I just I just loved it.
- 21:15Speaker 3: You guys, you were so happy.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I was so into these two because, like we said
- 21:21Speaker 1: in a previous episode, they're not exactly the same. They're
- 21:27Speaker 1: a little bit different, and that's what I like about them.
- 21:31Speaker 1: And so the funny part is in interview after the
- 21:37Speaker 1: producers are like, so, what's next, and he's like, uh,
- 21:39Speaker 1: probably kids, retired, and Quinn says, how about married?
- 21:43Speaker 3: First he goes, I thought that was a given.
- 21:46Speaker 1: I thought that was a given. And then they're like,
- 21:49Speaker 1: producers are like, so, how many kids do you want?
- 21:51Speaker 1: And Brett says two or three We're going to start tonight.
- 21:57Speaker 3: I started laughing. I'm literally laughing while I'm driving down
- 22:01Speaker 3: the street. Literally just goes, Okay.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Farmer have a couple of shots before he filmed this finale,
- 22:10Speaker 1: because I was Farmer found some whiskey. Where did this
- 22:14Speaker 1: guy come from? All of a sudden, he's like, freaking
- 22:16Speaker 1: cameras are down. I could be this is the I
- 22:19Speaker 1: could be like, yeah, because because that's what you wanted
- 22:23Speaker 1: to hear, Right, that's what you wanted to hear. That's
- 22:25Speaker 1: what he says back to them. It's just Brett, you
- 22:28Speaker 1: brought the jokes. Maybe the jokes were always hiding under
- 22:32Speaker 1: the hat with the volume hair, but I don't know.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Albertovo five Hot Oil Treatment.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I loved it. I'm happy for them. It's adorable.
- 22:43Speaker 3: MPs ladies and gentleman at home. I picked this one
- 22:45Speaker 3: as well.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Thank you, after I think I convinced you a little
- 22:49Speaker 1: bit to get there.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Well, I'll say this, I loved Brett.
- 22:53Speaker 2: You know, I felt like Brett had kind of like
- 22:56Speaker 2: that that really sweet kind of connection with several people.
- 22:59Speaker 2: But you're right, Yeah, I wasn't as quick to the
- 23:02Speaker 2: Quinn thing at first, but then yeah, I was really happy. Yeah,
- 23:07Speaker 2: to see the two of them together and to see
- 23:08Speaker 2: how happy they were, and you know, I love that
- 23:11Speaker 2: they when they're doing a little bit the flashback sequence,
- 23:14Speaker 2: they flashed back to that part where she was telling
- 23:16Speaker 2: them she couldn't wink an eye. You know, She's gone,
- 23:18Speaker 2: look I have to do this funny. I was just
- 23:21Speaker 2: watching that going, that's gonna be something fun for them
- 23:23Speaker 2: for the rest of.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Their lives exactly.
- 23:25Speaker 1: And I think when you get somebody in your life
- 23:28Speaker 1: like that that can make you laugh like that, it's
- 23:31Speaker 1: a really telling sign. And so we wrap up this
- 23:45Speaker 1: episode by popping over to farmer Sean's farm and he
- 23:49Speaker 1: says he's had trouble sleeping the last few days. He's
- 23:53Speaker 1: been feeling so conflicted. Emily is feeling the nerves, but
- 23:58Speaker 1: she's mentally calm and Carson and says she has strong
- 24:02Speaker 1: feelings for Sean. She could end up heartbroken or happy.
- 24:06Speaker 1: And Carson is wearing a red dress with a high
- 24:09Speaker 1: neckline and it's sleeveless, so it's kind of like a
- 24:12Speaker 1: tank with a high neck line. And they do the
- 24:17Speaker 1: cutting of the back and the forth on this one,
- 24:19Speaker 1: so you can't really figure out who he's talking to,
- 24:22Speaker 1: and then we pull back and we see that he's
- 24:24Speaker 1: talking to Carson, and Sean says that he likes that
- 24:28Speaker 1: she hasn't sugarcoated things and she's been honest with him,
- 24:32Speaker 1: and then he says his heart is leading him in
- 24:35Speaker 1: a different direction, and he says that they held back
- 24:38Speaker 1: on telling each other their feelings for each other, and
- 24:42Speaker 1: he thinks that when you're with your soulmate, things should
- 24:45Speaker 1: be a little bit more clear. Interesting Sean and Carson
- 24:51Speaker 1: says that she's glad she's stuck it out and that
- 24:56Speaker 1: the relationship grew over time. Stuck it out was interesting verbiage.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I wonder if she was like thinking of just bailing
- 25:02Speaker 3: early she was.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Remember, that's when he like ulled her out, pulled her
- 25:06Speaker 1: ound and was like do you even want to be here?
- 25:09Speaker 1: That's why I was like, interesting language again, back to
- 25:12Speaker 1: what I said, is she in it to win it?
- 25:15Speaker 1: Was Carson in it to win it? When I saw
- 25:17Speaker 1: this exit, I was like, should have gone with my gut.
- 25:22Speaker 4: You were in it to win it?
- 25:23Speaker 1: You really weren't vibing with him that much because guys,
- 25:28Speaker 1: no emotions, no tears.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Carson is you know, glad she stuck it out. Blah
- 25:32Speaker 4: blah blah.
- 25:33Speaker 1: They hug and she says she'll miss him and wishes
- 25:37Speaker 1: him good luck. I mean, it's just such a ending
- 25:42Speaker 1: to me.
- 25:43Speaker 4: That's how I felt.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I was just like, there wasn't an emotional pull, which
- 25:48Speaker 1: is what I said in a previous episode. I said,
- 25:52Speaker 1: you pick Carson as your winner, and it's going to
- 25:55Speaker 1: be like a fun kind of ending and you for her,
- 26:00Speaker 1: and then you have the emotional exit of Emily, because
- 26:04Speaker 1: I knew Emily was more emotionally invested. I said this
- 26:08Speaker 1: early on. You pick Emily Carson is not going to
- 26:13Speaker 1: care and she is going to walk and it's going
- 26:15Speaker 1: to just be a whatever, and that's kind of what
- 26:18Speaker 1: it was. So with Emily, who's wearing a brown dress
- 26:22Speaker 1: that's very cute, he tells her that he can get
- 26:25Speaker 1: lost in her eyes. And Emily wrote something for Sean
- 26:31Speaker 1: and she basically says that she's glad their paths led
- 26:34Speaker 1: them to write here at this moment, and Sean tells
- 26:38Speaker 1: Emily he came here looking for something real and he
- 26:41Speaker 1: found that with her, and she kind of looked shocked
- 26:44Speaker 1: when he says that, which was kind of cute, and
- 26:47Speaker 1: they agreed to pursue a relationship and then they kiss,
- 26:51Speaker 1: and then producers ask has Farmer found his wife and
- 26:56Speaker 1: Sean says, I think I did, and then Emily jokes, well,
- 27:00Speaker 1: you can get down and propose right now.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Yeah, He's like, which he does not do.
- 27:06Speaker 4: I mean, listen, I think it's cute.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I mean, I'm curious to hear what the ladies from
- 27:12Speaker 1: Sean's farm are going to say now that this is
- 27:16Speaker 1: the outcome and that they'll get to see this, because
- 27:21Speaker 1: does it lend back to what the rumors were being
- 27:23Speaker 1: spread around the farm? Did farmer Sean tell Emily early
- 27:28Speaker 1: on that she was the one? Did Emily repeat that
- 27:32Speaker 1: to the other women?
- 27:33Speaker 3: I think that was the whole fabrication, Just like that
- 27:37Speaker 3: whole thing. I think what's her name turned it into that.
- 27:40Speaker 1: That's what I still think interesting, Rihanna, I don't think
- 27:43Speaker 1: I just turned it into that.
- 27:44Speaker 3: I do well.
- 27:46Speaker 4: I mean, obviously again I got this one wrong.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Who got it right? Though? Did either of us get
- 27:51Speaker 3: it right? I mean, I gotta believe you did.
- 27:53Speaker 1: You picked Emily.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Oh that's right, Thank you, Thank you for telling you
- 27:56Speaker 3: you were right.
- 27:57Speaker 1: You were right.
- 27:58Speaker 4: I was wrong. I think that an adorable couple.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I think they're so so cute, and I think everybody
- 28:05Speaker 1: ended up with a really cute match. And I can't
- 28:09Speaker 1: wait to see, you know now that they can all
- 28:13Speaker 1: go public after this, like what we get to see
- 28:15Speaker 1: on the internet and what they've all been up to.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Obviously, we are going to continue to try and.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Talk to the Farmers talk to some runner ups because
- 28:27Speaker 1: we've got co uestions. But we will definitely be talking
- 28:31Speaker 1: to Farmer Branden and Casey we can say tomorrow, so
- 28:37Speaker 1: definitely stay tuned for that. We definitely have a lot
- 28:41Speaker 1: of questions for them. This has been such a cute show.
- 28:45Speaker 4: I'm so glad I got to recap it with you,
- 28:47Speaker 4: Bob Uve.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I mean, is there any final thoughts that you had
- 28:52Speaker 1: on our Farmers or this season?
- 28:55Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I mean I have really I didn't
- 28:58Speaker 2: know what to expect right with the show, and it
- 29:01Speaker 2: started off so g rated for me that I wasn't
- 29:04Speaker 2: even sure if I was going to be able to
- 29:05Speaker 2: get into it, you know. And that also to have
- 29:09Speaker 2: three of the lead, three male leads. In my mind,
- 29:13Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't know if I can get invested
- 29:14Speaker 2: in these guys, right. And I love the fact that
- 29:17Speaker 2: I've come full circle on the whole damn thing. Like,
- 29:19Speaker 2: I love that it was that it was g I
- 29:22Speaker 2: love that it was a little more innocent. I love
- 29:25Speaker 2: that I think I think I needed that, you know,
- 29:28Speaker 2: especially after some of the you know, crazy drama we've
- 29:32Speaker 2: dealt with on some of the other shows. I enjoyed
- 29:34Speaker 2: this so much. And I liked that the women were friends.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I liked that the guys seemed to look out for
- 29:41Speaker 2: each other, you know. I just I liked the whole
- 29:45Speaker 2: the whole thing, and I love the ending, you know,
- 29:48Speaker 2: like watching watching the show and seeing the finale as
- 29:51Speaker 2: we have and getting a chance to see who the
- 29:54Speaker 2: guys picked and see how it all kind of came together.
- 29:58Speaker 3: I just I just leave the.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Whole thing feeling good, Like I feel really positive about
- 30:02Speaker 2: the futures of these couples. And man, I hope, you know,
- 30:06Speaker 2: I hope that they take a little a page out
- 30:08Speaker 2: of the Tristan Ryan handbook here and just and the
- 30:11Speaker 2: and the Shawn and Catherine, you know, a low handbook
- 30:13Speaker 2: and just sort of invest in each other and let
- 30:16Speaker 2: the noise be the noise, and just you know, because
- 30:19Speaker 2: that really is the differentiator between these couples, you know,
- 30:24Speaker 2: when they when they do get it right, because they
- 30:26Speaker 2: they do get it right, sometimes make it through because
- 30:29Speaker 2: you can still get it right and then handle it
- 30:31Speaker 2: all wrong and end up on the other side, you know, unhappy.
- 30:33Speaker 2: And I think I think that I don't I'm not
- 30:35Speaker 2: worried about that with these couples. I'm excited about their
- 30:38Speaker 2: futures and I'm excited for them, and I just think
- 30:41Speaker 2: that I feel like, you know, when we do our
- 30:45Speaker 2: recap show and when we do our reunion show and
- 30:48Speaker 2: when we do our super fun stuff, that we're going
- 30:50Speaker 2: to see some really happy people, and I'm excited about
- 30:53Speaker 2: the I'm excited about the promise of that.
- 30:55Speaker 1: I think if producers are listening. The only things that
- 30:59Speaker 1: I didn't jive with a lot on this is there
- 31:05Speaker 1: was a lot of farm work. I would have loved
- 31:08Speaker 1: to have seen more mini dates that were actual quality
- 31:12Speaker 1: time between the farmers and the women, so that we
- 31:14Speaker 1: could have seen a little bit more of these relationships
- 31:18Speaker 1: develop before our eyes. I felt like I didn't get
- 31:23Speaker 1: to see a whole lot of development on the women's side.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I got to hear, you know, the same kind of
- 31:28Speaker 1: things from the men and what they were looking for.
- 31:31Speaker 1: But I would have really loved little less of the
- 31:36Speaker 1: corn shucking, pulling things, all that kind of stuff, and instead,
- 31:41Speaker 1: you know, again, take a playbook out of the Bachelor world,
- 31:45Speaker 1: which is you do a group date, the reward is
- 31:47Speaker 1: a little bit more of a one on one experience
- 31:50Speaker 1: with the lead after that it just helps with the development.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I would have loved to and I'll say it till
- 31:57Speaker 1: I'm blue in the face.
- 31:58Speaker 2: We need.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Cameras stationed in the place that the women are living.
- 32:04Speaker 1: We got to know this kind of stuff that is
- 32:06Speaker 1: being talked about when the farmer isn't around. I need
- 32:10Speaker 1: a little bit more of that and a little less
- 32:12Speaker 1: of playing ketchup and trying to get the girls to
- 32:14Speaker 1: talk about it a day later because the producers missed it.
- 32:18Speaker 4: That kind of stuff.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Really irks me, and I just need to see, like
- 32:22Speaker 1: the raw, real footage. Can you imagine if they had
- 32:26Speaker 1: the footage of Carson and that drama like actually playing
- 32:31Speaker 1: out on the show, it would have been way more riveting,
- 32:34Speaker 1: you know. I mean, same thing with the Rihanna and
- 32:37Speaker 1: Emily situation. Had we seen these kinds of things play out,
- 32:41Speaker 1: it would have felt better to me. So that's kind
- 32:45Speaker 1: of my two things. I need a little bit more
- 32:47Speaker 1: of the one on one dates and I need a
- 32:49Speaker 1: little bit more footage of what's happening with the girls
- 32:52Speaker 1: when they're not with the farmer.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Well, that's always in your rate because that is always
- 32:57Speaker 2: something that especially when something comes up up and sell.
- 33:01Speaker 3: A bid why I never said that, esp actually her,
- 33:03Speaker 3: That's what I mean. Then they flash back and show
- 33:05Speaker 3: us her saying it or I'm not saying it or whatever.
- 33:08Speaker 2: It's like, you know, I mean, you know, she was
- 33:10Speaker 2: sweet to come on the show and talk to us,
- 33:12Speaker 2: and it was you know, it would have been interesting
- 33:14Speaker 2: to know what really was said because we still don't
- 33:16Speaker 2: know exactly.
- 33:17Speaker 3: And yeah, yeah, I agree with you.
- 33:20Speaker 1: On that those are that's my only kind of burden.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I mean, I also would have loved to see last
- 33:26Speaker 1: season we had, like I told you, there was a
- 33:28Speaker 1: lot more of the farmers coming together and like spending
- 33:31Speaker 1: time at certain locations, whether they went camping or something.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I think they got rid of those moments. It only
- 33:38Speaker 1: gave us one this season that could have been fun
- 33:40Speaker 1: to see that, you know, integrated again, maybe later on
- 33:43Speaker 1: when they were just down to their final two. And
- 33:47Speaker 1: then the only other thing I would say is I
- 33:50Speaker 1: still think you could do less women on this show.
- 33:52Speaker 1: And again, it just lends to more character development. If
- 33:56Speaker 1: you make the pool a little bit smaller, We're maybe
- 33:59Speaker 1: not doing so many eliminations and like seeing so many
- 34:02Speaker 1: girls like exit in the same way. If you just
- 34:06Speaker 1: bring you know, less into the mix. But anyways, it's
- 34:10Speaker 1: been a fun watch. I really enjoyed doing this with you.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Bob.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Leave us a comment, tell us what you thought about
- 34:16Speaker 1: this season of Farmer Wants a Wife. Were dying to
- 34:19Speaker 1: hear it. And if you've got any questions for Farmer
- 34:23Speaker 1: Branden and his winter casey dm us those questions. Maybe
- 34:27Speaker 1: we'll be able to ask some of those as well
- 34:30Speaker 1: or any of the other farmers that we're also going
- 34:32Speaker 1: to be trying to get on the show. But this
- 34:34Speaker 1: has been great, Bob, Thanks so much for being here.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Heather, I've loved it.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Thank you for doing the show with me and for
- 34:40Speaker 2: being a part of all of it, and all of
- 34:42Speaker 2: your incredible insight from your production experiences has been.
- 34:46Speaker 3: So helpful and so wrong.
- 34:48Speaker 1: That's so many.
- 34:50Speaker 3: My friend, bon Nut and French. That means good night
- 34:57Speaker 3: Me and MiG.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Bye guys. M
