- speaker-0: Let me tell you something. I'm just can I just say this? I am not the person y'all think I'm on social media. speaker-1: You know him as Robbie World. Okay, the crazy skits and the filming and the laughs, but I met Robbie when I moved to Atlanta, pursuing my full-blown acting career. Listen to this episode and learn things about myself and about Rob that he doesn't normally share. When we have a big purpose and with a black sheep in my family, sometimes we be misunderstood, but it propels us into greatness. Hey Rob. Hi. So I really want us to start right where we met because we're both in way different places. Do speaker-0: Okay. speaker-1: you tell me your remembrance? speaker-0: I remember we was casting for this movie Call Sold speaker-1: Yes. speaker-0: it was dope because you was great, well still is. speaker-1: I fell on the floor for y'all to audition. speaker-0: Yes. Like it was like amazing. It was like we said we gotta cast her. speaker-1: You know what's funny is I read for the part, like the s speaker-0: Yeah, the secondary speaker-1: yeah, and y'all was like, Hey, so can you read for Caitlin? Like the main and it's funny how I immediately went in there like they're bigger people, like in my head I already was like, they already have a main character. But I was also just moving here from Pittsburgh to start in. speaker-0: second movie? yeah, this is like my second speaker-1: Yeah. Yeah. speaker-0: that I did. So like I'm learning as we go, you know what I'm saying? and like your performance was amazing. I was like, yeah, we have to have her lead things happen when it come out, but I still actually I'll send you the link. I still got like the rough edit. speaker-1: Yes. speaker-0: It was good. She is a great actor. Thank you. I speaker-1: But yeah, so then we did that first film and then from there, it was like pandemic hit us. speaker-0: Yeah, pandemic hit us. And well hit a lot of people. Well I well when the pandemic hit, you didn't know this. But I moved to LA. Like right when it shut down. I speaker-1: Shut up. speaker-0: moved to LA. Yeah. Like I caught the last flight to LA. I remember this flight was like thirty eight dollars. speaker-1: we did sold. That was twenty nineteen you think? speaker-0: It 2018. 2018 2019. speaker-1: I just moved here in twenty eight. speaker-0: And then I remember I had the rough draft like around Christmas. speaker-1: Okay. speaker-0: And then we shot a little bit in the new year. We were speaker-1: Because we were doing speaker-0: doing skids in the 2020, but then the pandemic happened. speaker-1: you weren't there? speaker-0: I was in LA, like, 'cause at the time in the relationship I was in, we broke Right. speaker-1: That's right. speaker-0: And I said, you know what, you can have the crib. I even left my car. Like I I gave that to my one of my friends. I was like, look, just drive it until they take it. and I left Atlanta to LA. shouted to Shea Frost and Monique, definitely Monique, Deshay's mom. They let me sleep on the floor, like couch. Like at their crib, you what I'm saying? LA. I was grinding it out and then I stacked up. I came back right right before my birthday, June. speaker-1: I just remember a I just remember like a long spint of when we were filming down in Midtown. speaker-0: Yeah, we was filming we was filming it, I'm telling you we was filming it from like twenty nineteen to twenty twenty like early twenty twenty. speaker-1: Gotcha. Cause it was like lit. We was like Shaderoom was like reposting this every time. Like and I was like, I went from like $2,000 to like 25k And I was like, yo, what is the speaker-0: That was that was this. speaker-1: time? I'm telling you. speaker-0: it's sad that you know, like that all this stuff happened, but it was just like it really showed who was the true hustler and speaker-1: I'm telling you. speaker-0: who really had their faith during that. speaker-1: so you know I'm a respiratory therapist. Yeah. So I'm on my literal two off days working through the pandemic, running life support, watching people die over and over. You would text me, you'd be like, hey, we're gonna do this we're gonna film today or whatever. So I have acting class at this time, a coach and everything. So like some nights I will just be like, okay, I work seven to seven and then I would sleep for like two hours and then roll up and come with y'all, film the whole day, and then come home like I was literally like speaker-0: I didn't even know that. Like I d I didn't I didn't know that. speaker-1: I know. Yeah, like I wasn't on no games or nothing like that. I was like, listen, I'm gonna come, I'm doing my job speaker-0: and and as anybody. You do. If you feel with me, I'm very professional and quick. I'm like, hey look, I ain't this what we're gonna do. We're finna do this. If you cool with that, you comfortable with that, cool. If not, we can do another one. Like I'm more like in and out. speaker-1: You are. And that's why I stayed working with you. I mean, even when we did with V. Yeah. 'cause it was just like any time you asked me, I like, Yeah, 'cause sometimes you go on a set or something like that and it's kinda uncomfortable to some degree, but you always respect the fact that I wasn't trying to twerk and then like that. Yeah. speaker-0: I'm like speaker-1: Let's make up some speaker-0: 'Cause it's it's it's when you go through this world, you gotta respect people and their comfortability. You know what I'm saying? So I just try to work with people I try to work with people who wanna work with me. So yeah, if you wanna work with me, I'll work with you. Mm-hmm. That's just bottom line. Like if if a scene requires twerking And you know, you're not comfortable with that. we just gotta scrap that. I s somebody else would probably do it. But we gotta definitely try But I'm just I'm I'm threw. Like But speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: but we still gotta work. So I'm not finna like that's one thing too in this industry that I seen a lot. Like as soon as I get like quote unquote higher, mm-hmm. I see how people treat other people because it they don't go their way. And I'm never been like that. I'd be like, All right, cool, if it didn't go my way, we can still make another skit. I'm talented, you know what I'm saying? Like I could speaker-1: You can make cinematic things as well. Like you don't just have a visual of like, we're just doing skits, just hee hee ha ha. You also do serious stuff. speaker-0: Yes. That's when I started two thirty six films, with my with my team. speaker-1: So what what year was that? speaker-0: so I started doing movies on my own, but then like literally like twenty twenty three, twenty twenty four, my friend Teddy, he was in the hospital. He was yeah. He I okay. He speaker-1: My gosh. speaker-0: gonna be mad if I say this. But he was just in the hospital. Okay. speaker-1: It's okay. speaker-0: So we all came there and then V gave the idea, like, man, we should just do it, do it. I was like, let's push the button. Let's just start a film and we just do movies. Forget it. And we started doing but I think last year, within the last two years we filmed like eight projects. Yes. Yes. speaker-1: It's funny 'cause remember the night we filmed the one with V, like we literally came up with that entire script. But it was literally just like I don't even remember how we were like, let's just film a movie and we literally put that together. Yeah. What was it c what was it called? Share. We came speaker-0: Yeah, share. Yeah. Yeah, and then we was like, you know what I'm saying? We just came up I was like Let's film a movie. Yeah, let's just film a movie. And that and you know, that was definitely before the pandemic. See you. 'Cause it was like right there because because I edited it in LA. I remember that. And shout out to V. speaker-1: Yeah, I love Vee That's my girl. but yeah, we really came with that on the fly. Yeah. but since the last time I saw you, I'm just catching up with you on social media and then I saw your post where like you got baptized. Yes. that was the last time I saw you. Cause remember you invited me to your podcast? That's the last time I saw you. That was probably like 2022. Three. speaker-0: That was Yeah, no, 2020. Okay. That's when we first first started. Yeah. We didn't even know what our podcast Don't speaker-1: Okay, I know you think of speaker-0: judge me by my podcast. Let me tell you something. I'm just can I just say that? I am not the person y'all think I'm on social I I just love to do what I do. I love to create. I know what most people like. Look at me like I hate to say this. Look at me like a Allegedly like a drug dealer. Right? That don't get high off their drugs. That's how I look at social Like that's how look I post, I let people think what they think, cool, and I'm chilling with my family. speaker-1: You know, that's what's crazy is cause like when you first meet if you go into a environment where it's like it's like you, it like Reggie Baby, funny and gaitlin and all that, right? So I'm in that environment and like you're expecting people to be like you really don't know what to expect. It's kinda like, what am I gonna do? But all y'all were such gentlemen around me and like I was just like, Okay, like this is so cool. speaker-0: let me say something. And speaking for me, I don't even be like on that type of time. If and then like sometimes I'm not gonna lie, like sometimes it'll be like, I'm attracted to this person. I'll let them know. But even if they said yes or they said no, it always never interfere with business. That's true. like even with my fiance today, That was an old friend. We actually went to high school with eachother She was actually my bully in high school. Yeah, she was actually my bully in high school. I was shorter. Like, this gross spurt, and like, you know, I don't got the glasses no more. Like, I was not like that in high school. So we actually recently linked up. And she texted me by accident. And speaker-1: Crazy. speaker-0: that's why I slowed down. Like she made me really slow down. Got it. Got it. And Yeah, I'm just she was just a blessing that came into my life. speaker-1: That's how God works, I'm telling you. He just puts people in your life and it's like, What is going on? speaker-0: Exactly. Like I didn't expect like every t I swear once a month be like we together for real? Like how this happened? Like and I really care and love her like Man, speaker-1: Of course you do. speaker-0: like she's she's my rock. speaker-1: You know what, that's so beautiful when I came b back to see you in the podcast, I hadn't seen you for a while. so what happened between pandemic and like twenty twenty one was In my family, mental health is huge. Like I'm adopted, first of all, but we're all adopted in the same family. And then my birth mother couldn't keep us because she has manic depression, schizophrenic, like all that. So everyone's always worried and concerned about like us, her kids, having something going on. So when I was like 25, I got into like a full-blown like mental health breakdown, right? But it like woke me up to like Okay, like life is short, I'm literally gonna move to Atlanta. So I got my ultima 'cause that's what I had then and drove here after I did like a respiratory assignment. 'Cause I was like it just like when you go through like a low moment, low point. I mean you you had you understand Yeah, once you go through that like low or whatever, and it's just like dang and none of y'all even know what to do either. Like, so I'm just out here just struggling. So it kind of jolted me into moving here. So when I moved here, you literally met me like a year after that. Like I was like, Yeah, I'm an actress, so let's do it, right? and so started doing the skits and all that. And then twenty twenty one after you from doing pandemic burning out, obviously I just told you what my schedule was. And like I still was operating at like peak performance. but I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. So I would have panic attacks and like all of that. But that time I started having suicidal ideations, like struggling with suic with suicidal thoughts. And I've never been that bad. So I was like on my back and floor crying. I was just like, okay, Lord, like I guess it's your turn to kick in because I never really gave my life to you. And I don't really know what to do at this point. What's my purpose? I thought I was supposed be doing this. Thought I was supposed to be a lot doing a lot of things, like, but I don't know, so y I'll let you tell me. And that was the first time I ever like stopped making my own plan. and then from there that came her promise circle, which you see now, the nonprofit and the community health and all of that. Thank you. but he yanked me up because you know, now I'm popping, I'm like, we some some followers, people actually watching, I got act I'm acting, like met these people, like And out completely into a whole different space that I feel like I'm completely unqualified for in that moment. So then when you saw me, it was in its like baby stages. And so when you saw me that next time, like that's why I was a little way more kind of just like, Yeah, you know, even when I came on the pod, like I was just like, I don't know what to even talk about. Like I was having such an identity crisis. Cause it was just like I I know what y'all are saying, but like it was speaker-0: Let me tell you. speaker-1: such a struggle. but tell me how that is for you, like how that was for you. speaker-0: I at least have one of those prices speaker-1: I know you I speaker-0: at least once a year. Like like let me tell something. This year, and people like I said, social media is different from real life. So I had dealt with some struggle with my father. If you know me, like really know me, that's like my hero. Yeah. So going through this year, my dad had got sick. He had something wrong with his heart, he had hip surgery and he had mild blindness. So he couldn't take care of himself. So this year I had to step up and become the like the man of the house early this year. it was like it was like happened in waves. So like first his heart wasn't as a hundred percent. So then I had got him a condo next to me. speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: And after that, and like during that time, like during the end of his lease, like it was just like crazy. like especially after he got his hip surgery, it was like hell going through that. So I haven't moved him in with me. He's still living with me. So it just I had to adjust to that while my fiance living with me, while her daughter's staying with me. And not to put my business out like that, but God will give you the strength. to overcome 'cause like my right now my dad, he's better walking, talking, he's, doing his thing. he actually got eye surgery tomorrow where we gotta go. And that's why I be telling you like I like, man, I'm dealing with my family 'cause it's like me too. And then like 'cause speaker-1: They here this last one. speaker-0: like my my my dad was the sole provider, so I gotta take his responsibility. Like my granddad, he got stuff going on. And It's just crazy like when you get into this position where like you was the black sheet above the family. Like you just this, that and the third and now you're just like, All right, well everybody's dependent on you. It kinda messes with you mentally. So like a identity crisis. speaker-1: It's so true. As black sheep though, I feel like that's why we were forced to speaker-0: Be pushed. Yeah, 'cause like 'cause like now I'll be like sometimes I'll just say some like wish I was alone but then I don't wish I was alone. It's like wish I was alone 'cause I can go through some problems by myself. But now it's different when you go into problems with somebody you care about. With somebody that's you know I'm saying that's actually So speaker-1: There for you. speaker-0: it's just kind of different and sometimes it's like sometimes you don't feel worthy enough of that. And then sometimes you just I don't know, it's just like a weird speaker-1: It's such a transition because if you especially been single for a long time, I've like not been in many long term relationships. So like I'm it's me, right? And I'm a woman too. So it's just like high hard to if you're gonna be in a healthy relationship where someone's actually a provider, protector, whatever, it's hard to it's the same thing for guys except in a different way. Yeah. Cause you have to be more emotionally available. You have to be more like considerate and thoughtful of another person when usually it's like, okay, me. Like speaker-0: Yes. And like I said, it just takes adjusting. And like we adjust it well. Like we don't argue. We gravy. Like we good. It's just that like sometimes like now I just gotta be mindful of decisions that I make. Because it's not like like it speaker-1: It affects other people. speaker-0: affects other people, but it's still like I'm a risk taker. So it's like I'm gonna do it. It's just that I gotta I just now it's just like okay, this is in my mind. speaker-1: Right. speaker-0: So instead of like moving like it wouldn't stop me from moving forward, it just n I'm just more concerned. speaker-1: Cautious. Yeah. Yeah. Well you have to be. And and especially if you're gonna transition more into family stuff. speaker-0: This was during like we was like, I think year... speaker-1: charge? First let me ask you that. speaker-0: It was weird thing growing up in church. Like I didn't grow up in church. Like I went to church. It speaker-1: I understand. speaker-0: was like my mom went to church and then she stopped. My granddad, he he got his own beliefs, but he believed in Jesus. He just didn't like church. But he'll watch it on TV every Sunday. I remember that. my dad, he was very religious, he was very God driven. I'm putting that way. He believed in God, he believed in Jesus, but he just never went to church. speaker-1: Bye. speaker-0: as w when I was growing up. Like, you know what I'm saying? speaker-1: But what brings you to a place where like did you o were you like I I've always believed in God would kinda speaker-0: I was I was going through this like one year, I was just like, Man, I need I need to do stuff that I never did before. Like, I was like, dang, I never got baptized. Like I just realized that I never got baptized. I asked my dad and he was mad at me too when I told him I because he didn't know I got baptized. But he was he's a busy man. Yeah, he was. He was like, hey, I would have came there for you. I was like, Yeah, but it was just something like it was like everything on my bucket list. Like I wanted to go to Egypt. I went to Egypt. I wanted to get baptized. It was just that year that I was like, I'm doing all these things this year no matter what. And when I got baptized It was just like 'cause I always believe in God, I always under God. I wouldn't be nothing without Jesus Christ. I wouldn't be nothing without God. I'm never afraid to say. I'm never afraid to say that. It's just one of those things where it like it was my journey. It was my journey. And God's still working on me. Like, I'm not perfect. Like that's that's one thing people understand too. like I grew up I'm gonna be real. I grew up being hated on. I grew up being So when people say certain stuff about my content, it's like, okay, well, I understand that, but it's still content. It's still creating. You know what I'm saying? Like I be telling people, like, I'm a thirty five year old man. What do y'all want me to talk about? Like besides like like like like speaker-1: the real stuff alive. speaker-0: You know what I'm saying? Like so and then like yes, I do wanna switch over to family content. I wanna switch over to movies more. speaker-1: Can let me say this before you move on. Yeah. When we, I don't know if you remember this, but we did, we were filming sold. Mm-hmm. And we had like a frustrating sort of day. And I think we're going to another set or something. and I was sitting with you, and you just were like, like I visibly could tell that you were like stressed, but you were still talking about like how we're gonna do this, how we was gonna do, and I just kind of like paused you and I was like Rob like you're doing an amazing job. Like I don't know if you noticed that and speaker-0: Even say what it's not when I get like that, everybody always say that. It's just that I'm the type of person. So my dad's military. So I'm always like, because I know most people give up, but my dad always says this. When you're in battle, it's no time for a funeral. It's like you gotta keep going. You gotta, you gotta keep going. And sometimes my attitude may not reflect portray but I'm still focused. I'm trying my best to focus on. speaker-1: Yeah. But it's also okay, like when you're talking about worthiness, I really understand that. Especially as someone who's like I had even family members that didn't like me growing up. you always think you're better than everybody, you always this that. And it's like, no, like I just know we're all living below like what I see myself living in. Yeah. I'm from like a area where like half the place is in poverty below the poverty line, right? And you wouldn't know that I'm the only one you Built her house, like graduated college, like has a career, like I'm the only one. It's me. So like you said, it becomes on your back because you're the one who kind of went for it. But like I think that when you have that unworthiness, you don't recognize like you're very like even just who you are is very encouraging and motivating to even women, especially people who have that mindset. Thank you. honestly. You have to understand like whenever you say I'm thirty-five, what else do I talk about? I think if you're missing the aspect of like what people see without you even saying, then you won't bring it onto the platform because you're you don't know that it's there or that people feel that way. But just like we're talking now, like it gives me energy talking to you 'cause you understand what I'm saying, like you have been through things and y you're able to be vulnerable and open. Just something to think about. speaker-0: I just feel like I'm just that Tyler Kapara character that everybody hates. Like the bald headed man that that that was like for fair lives. I'm like, hey man, that was just acting. You know what I'm saying? Like, hey, I'm not like that. And real life, I didn't I didn't beat that woman. I promise you I did. speaker-1: So when you put the video up, were you expecting that though? The baptism? speaker-0: The baptism, I wasn't expect like and people always thought I did it for clout. speaker-1: I s I remember the comments because I commented on it on purpose. speaker-0: Like, bro, like, yo, I am a s born sinner. All about it. Every everybody. I don't judge people for going through their journey. I don't judge people for their beliefs. I know what my beliefs is. I believe in Jesus Christ. I know what my goals are. I know what I know what kind of content I put out. I know who I I know who I work with. But people don't understand. It's just like you gotta see who Jesus was surrounding himself by. He wasn't surrounding himself by saints. His disciples wasn't saints. They was Yeah. They was they was speaker-1: Crucified. speaker-0: literally closed. They was thieves from what I read, d now I'm a little you know, but they was thieves, they was like like you know, prostitutes, they was they wasn't what Christians wanna to be. You know what I'm saying? Like I got a lot of friends in the let's say the adult industry. speaker-1: Yes. speaker-0: But they the most coolest, sweetest, smartest, humblest person that I ever met in my life. Compared to somebody that got not you. But compared they got a degree. But I I met women that's in your field that's just cuckoo for cocoa butt. Yeah speaker-1: Trust me, it's it don't matter what you're occupying. speaker-0: yeah. So it's just more like dang like I'd rather have a friendship with people like this that understands the world and they just happen to do this because it's all about survival but like especially like in our industry like you know I'm saying like they'll praise a drug dealer killer on music and it's all sin. Like like like like it's all sin. yeah but one thing I do recommend is always having like Mentors that will guide you. Cause I got a men I got a couple of mentors. one of them named is Trey. and I met him at my lowest. Like I met Trey. That's who helped me start the podcast. I met Trey at my lowest. I got the monetized from Facebook. Yes. I didn't know how we was gonna make money. I remember we was at my friends' football game. I had my laptop out, everybody was looking at the game. I was like, bro, I'm finna I don't know how I'm pay rent next month. But he's gonna come to me like, well, I got this podcast. I'm like, I don't want that. Like, I'm not a podcaster. So he was like, bro, just name what you wanna do, cool. So I always tell the story. I was like, hey look, bro, I want this, this, this, this, that. I wanna show up. I don't wanna edit, I don't wanna do nothing. He was like, Done. And we split everything down the middle. And then one of our episodes, Teddy came on, like the second episode. speaker-1: Yeah, yeah. speaker-0: And me and Trey was like, We need him as like Like the co-host, like and then we decide to split everything fifty-fifty, like thirty-thirty, whatever, like evenly, 'cause it's like like I always tell people, like if you work with me, I'm gonna give you the opportunity, like we're on the same level. Like I'm never gonna be like, I got a million followers and you got one thousand followers. No, I go by your work. speaker-1: Exactly. Yeah. so I just had my first run-in with people seeing me like and I I took like two years off the internet because you met me like kind of in the middle of it, but like I used to model model, video mixing model, right? And so when I'm doing the skits and all that, but I transition into like, okay, I gave my life to Christ and now I'm literally on there preaching and stuff. I'm like, everyone's gonna be like, what do you why are you talking about God to us? Why are you telling me about Jesus? And clearly yesterday, this is how you were. So I just had my first stint because some guy comment and was like, you need to be a better role model to women. And I literally had on like a romper that was like this. Yeah. And I was like, if you saw me, on here before and I'm like this and you still don't think I'm good enough and you're a s quote unquote the best Christian I guess and you got it all together. I speaker-0: I don't like speaker-1: I just don't understand it. speaker-0: It's it's hard. It's hard it's hard giving the word. And like I tell people and shout out to my other friend V, who's like my sister, V Amore. she's suffered from the same thing. Like where she was like video vixing and then now she's preaching the word. But I was telling her like, look, you gotta boss up like like I'll tell I wish you would have told me. I was like bruh I can't I can't say what I wanna say on camera. speaker-1: This is wow it's because if you are in your baptism video, go- speaker-0: But I don't I I ignore them 'cause it's like yo, like you gotta ignore them. Like people People like the internet gave so much people of free speech speaker-1: Now people don't know how to act. speaker-0: People don't know how to act. So it's like when you got cause we're we're humans. We're not designed to take that much information. We're not designed to be famous. Like I tell people, I tell people to and like if you met me recently in the past two years, somebody'd be like, you famous. I said, the only person famous is Jesus Christ. That's the only that's the only thing I will say. Like I don't even like the word famous. But When you get to that level, you gotta think like, bruh, people are always gonna hate. People are always gonna like like dismember because of their own happiness, of their own insecurities. So you should never let somebody limits, limit you. Mm-hmm. That's what I'll say. Like I never let nobody limit me. Yeah. Like they'll be like speaker-1: I believed in myself, but I think the judgment of like a word, you can't get a word from me. I am literally your testimony, like you hiding that is the whole point of what Jesus came to do, to change us, to make us whole, to make us free, to heal us, whatever. So if you don't share that, if you don't show where you came from, if you don't show your process, then how what what does Jesus even do? He just a guy, a dude that existed in the Bible? Like He has he can do miracles. So if he can change us, if he can mold me from a person who literally hated church, went from being a PK hating him at all completely, had a very hardened heart, couldn't have relationships, I was just not cool. I was drink see you didn't even I was a functional alcoholic when you got speaker-0: And then before like even before speaker-1: Just for peace I was drinking. speaker-0: even right before you met me, I was dealing with like no I say it's like peaks. speaker-1: I had none. speaker-0: Like like it's always peaks and h lows. Like before I met you, I was addicted to perks. I was drinking lean every day. Because my auntie did pass. She was like my mom. So like when you when I met you when I started doing the movies, I was like, all right, let me just Nah, let me just sober up let me just do something that's gonna be speaker-1: Productive. And that's what I was doing. speaker-0: So yeah, so and people, you know, like that's why I don't smoke weed. Like, I ain't gonna lie, for my birthday. Cause at my B day, like I haven't smoked a drink in like two years. Yeah. But I was just like, you know what? Let me just relax. But and I didn't take it too far, but but I but I'm the type but I'm the type of person I can stop though. Like, I don't need alcohol, I don't need substance to be speaker-1: But see that's that's the change because now when I have a drink, it's not because I'm looking for peace or for an answer. I'm not looking for something that I already have because he gave me. That's why it doesn't have a hold on you. Same thing with like money. speaker-0: my granddad always say, you don't mess with nobody's honey, you don't mess with nobody's money. speaker-1: Meet this man. speaker-0: Yeah, my granddad, he was he was cool. And my dad. speaker-1: I had lost a bunch of people and that's why I was in that space too. And it's just like then we started doing skits but that's crazy. You came out of it and we both were just like being productive and creative. But yeah, I mean, if I don't share who I am then speaker-0: And I like to share who I am. Like I like to share the moments like even when I like when I post my engagement photos, they had something to say. Of course. 'Cause it was like, didn't you used to be with a stripper? Then this happened. she gonna leave you. I'm like speaker-1: Shut up. speaker-0: she gonna take you off from money. First of all, I'm not getting married without a prenup. That's one thing I always said in any relationship. Like, you know what I'm saying? And not even to flex or not even to just do that. But my girl She's so trustworthy, she knows that I'm not, I'm always gonna take care of her. Right. Cause that's what that's what we're supposed to do in a relationship. That when you when you got a ring on the finger, you supposed to be that for that person. speaker-1: You're right. speaker-0: So it's never like no, like yeah. speaker-1: Of course. speaker-0: I can't say what I wanna say, but 'cause it is a Christian podcast. Understand. So we're gonna we're gonna keep it PG. But just know if you know who I am and you know how I talk, just know you know what I wanna say. Yeah. speaker-1: He f fill in the bowl. speaker-0: Cause if you ain't taking care of your woman who you've been with for years, then you probably don't like women. And that's all I'm gonna say. speaker-1: No for real. speaker-0: Yeah. So Yeah, so just well back to that negative like don't speaker-1: You're right. speaker-0: let like people gonna talk about this pocket. People gonna talk people gonna people are always speaker-1: Listen. speaker-0: That's the why I post the content that I post because your comments make money. It do, it do. I rage bait for a living. That's my thing. Like even when I would start doing comedy screen, they was like, man, a big guy like you can't be with these girls not knowing Like not even not even a tooth on horn. I'm just I keep it professional. Yeah, speaker-1: Yeah. They judge you off of what they see. speaker-0: they judge you they always judge you off what you see. And you know and it's sad, like I wish people like I wish people had belief, but you gotta understand people not gonna think the way you think. Everybody thinks differently. So that's one thing you gotta like mentally. mentally prepare yourself in the world. You know, and speaker-1: So what does your sureness come from that keeps you going even though people are like attacking you? speaker-0: My shortness that come from Jesus. God Jesus. speaker-1: Like am I right with my God? Do my people like me? And that's really all I really care about. speaker-0: if my money's right, right after that. Jesus' right here, the money right here. But it is it's second. He's your provider. Yeah. Second my provider. Let me tell you something. speaker-1: It says that. The Bible literally says that you focus on him, he take care of everything else. speaker-0: tell you something. It's God, God will bless your business. Your business bless your family. That's speaker-1: Exactly. speaker-0: how you gotta look at life. That's true. So yeah, and then my family, my fiance, my dad I I don't care what they think about me. I just make sure they sh that's what keep me motivated. speaker-1: Good. Understand. speaker-0: my team. My team keep me motivated. Like if my team winning, I'm happy. You know, if we win it as a team, I'm happy. You know, like like I really love seeing my team win. speaker-1: Yeah, same. Yeah, the Lord's attracted to humility and that's what you've always been. You've always been a supremely humble and like just stand up guy. Yeah. And I think that's why God continues to bless you and shine his light on you. speaker-0: And I may talk a little ish here and there. For real. But speaker-1: Yeah but speaker-0: I'm but everybody know my true intention. Like, I'm never speaker-1: No any malicious intent. speaker-0: I'm never can't Yeah, I'm never gon' like one thing I learned from Gary V. That's not he's one of my mentors too. one thing I learned from Gary V, when you see somebody's building a bigger building than yours, most people try to tear down the building so they can feel tall. But what you gotta do is you gotta build your building higher and focus on your building. But people always try to be right here and tear down this building so it can get lower. But you still at the same height, even though that's lower. Exactly. That's why I never like tearing nobody down. Especially like at their highest. Because when you tear them down, you still gonna be where you at. speaker-1: Yeah. How's it help you? Yeah. It it doesn't it don't. It just doesn't. But well what advice would you leave me with since my followers are starting to go back up but I'm coming up in a different way. speaker-0: Keep going, keep going. keep going. That's look, I got that on my phone. Like, look, I got that on my phone. Keep hold on. Keep speaker-1: It's your background? speaker-0: keep going. Literally. You gotta keep going. speaker-1: you can be blunt. Have you you've never seen my Bible studies, so that's why you f don't feel comfortable, but my Bible studies are gangster. speaker-0: Okay. Hey, that's how sometimes you gotta be. speaker-1: Listen, that's how Jesus I feel like talk to people. So that's how I talk. Jesus A gangster. speaker-0: Jesus was kind. Not not he was kind. speaker-1: He was a gangster. Robin, you gotta you gotta go dig deeper. speaker-0: Yeah, especially if you try to sell something in the church. speaker-1: Listen, what my faith, the coldest line is when Pontius like, so you're not gonna talk to me? I'm literally the one that's making the decision. Jesus says in that scene the only reason you talk to me right now is cause my father gave you the power too. You wouldn't even be here if he did it. Like that is so cold. Like So do what you gotta do. He's always gonna take care of me. But I just he just so sure and calm and strong. You don't have to say anything. Work speaks for itself. speaker-0: And then some more advice, my bad. No, no, you're just be consistent. Consistent through the BS, man. Cause it's gonna be it's gonna be BS. Even when you get higher than high, it's gonna be BS. But one thing, let me tell you something, it's gonna be my dad. It's gonna speaker-1: Please give it to me. speaker-0: be rich problems, it's gonna be broke problems. But you rather have rich problems. Rich problems. speaker-1: Well you got the money to take care of. speaker-0: But it's gonna be problems. Like you either in a problem You just love a problem or a problem's on this way. That's life. You gotta just keep figuring it out. Because with problems always solution. speaker-1: Yeah. Yeah. Well thank you for being here. No problem. You're literally the best. Appreciate it. And always support you. for real. For sure. Tell them where to find you. where you're at in your journey. speaker-0: Where I'm at in my journey, I'm building my family. That's where I'm at my journey. I'm building an empire. I'm building and the thing is too, you can build more than one building. Real estate. so yeah, so I'm building a lot of things. I'm building my personal brand, I'm building my my media company, our media company, me and my team. building podcasts, I'm building family, I'm building my personal mental, you know. People don't understand that like that's one thing, that's one time, that's one thing I do love to travel. So that's my my mental like my mental the seat speaker-1: I mean, what's the point of having money if you not ha don't have your mind or your health? What's the point? speaker-0: Like not even money, just speaker-1: Life. speaker-0: just life. Like even when I was broke I was traveling I didn't care. I was just I would just go. speaker-1: Crying. speaker-0: you can find me on everything on ROB, I I World on everything. speaker-1: Yeah, Instagram. You still have YouTube? speaker-0: Yeah, I'm actually funny that I'm building my YouTube now. Okay. I'm gonna start shooting I put my pranks and stuff on there. I'm gonna start building my short films on there. So I'm gonna start starring in my my short film. That's why I bought the Osmo. Ooh, speaker-1: Nice. Hello. speaker-0: it's gonna be like eight, ten minutes, one take. Of course. But it's gonna be like like comedy but a little bit more dramedy. Okay. speaker-1: that's fun. Let me know.
