- 0:05Speaker 1: Tim McGraw taking over Ruoff tonight. We've got Luke Bryan
- 0:09Speaker 1: tomorrow doing his farm tour. We're going to have Tim McGraw.
- 0:13Speaker 1: We're going to play some of his interview we had
- 0:14Speaker 1: with him.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, good.
- 0:16Speaker 1: When he announced the tour coming up for our Friday
- 0:17Speaker 1: friends just after 8. I am going to put my
- 0:19Speaker 1: plea out here one more time this morning. I'm looking
- 0:22Speaker 1: for someone who could give me side stage tonight.
- 0:25Speaker 3: At Ruoff.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Like, do you work there? Do you know somebody who
- 0:28Speaker 1: works there? My goal is to meet Faith Hill. Now,
- 0:32Speaker 1: she's not on the bill for this show, but it
- 0:34Speaker 1: is her birthday weekend.
- 0:37Speaker 2: So they're probably together for her birthday?
- 0:39Speaker 3: You would think, mate. You're right. I don't know.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Last time I tried this, I got backstage. I asked
- 0:46Speaker 1: Tim about the first question. I'm like, everyone's like, oh
- 0:48Speaker 1: my God, Tim, I'm like, where's Faith? And he's like, oh,
- 0:50Speaker 1: her and her girlfriends are having a girls weekend. So
- 0:52Speaker 1: she better not pull that this week.
- 0:54Speaker 2: For her birthday?
- 0:55Speaker 3: It's a possibility though, right?
- 0:57Speaker 4: Oh man.
- 0:58Speaker 3: But anyway, if you know somebody, if you have somebody, 317-663-9797.
- 1:00Speaker 3: We also, you're going to use that number to win

- 1:12Speaker 4: your name. We've got Indy 11 tickets. We've got Trans-Siberian
- 1:15Speaker 4: Orchestra tickets. Those you can start winning here at 635. Hey,

- 1:33Speaker 1: We'll get you all the details at Danny and Cole.
- 1:35Speaker 3: They did what?
- 1:42Speaker 4: You and I have talked before about how you have
- 1:46Speaker 4: eaten some strange things while driving.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I know, but every time I say this, I feel
- 1:50Speaker 1: like the disclaimer should be, do not eat cereal behind
- 1:54Speaker 1: the wheel.
- 1:55Speaker 4: No.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Don't eat spaghetti.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I still don't know why you did this. I'm curious
- 2:00Speaker 2: if you've ever tried this.
- 2:02Speaker 4: A 22-year-old man in Florida crashed his truck on Sunday
- 2:06Speaker 4: morning while attempting to put on deodorant.
- 2:10Speaker 2: While driving nobody was.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Hurt he was not arrested but cited for careless driving
- 2:14Speaker 4: but at least when they were there you know to
- 2:17Speaker 4: talk to him he didn't smell bad.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Did you think that that excuse was like gonna get
- 2:22Speaker 3: him out of like whatever trouble he was in.
- 2:24Speaker 4: You know like no one probably knew what they were
- 2:27Speaker 4: probably like what happened you're like oh i i just
- 2:30Speaker 4: i don't know i don't know i just lost control like.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Instead of being like i was trying to put on
- 2:34Speaker 2: deodorant man.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Sometimes you need help filling that weekend schedule. Tickets are
- 2:41Speaker 1: available if you want to buy them at Indy11. com or
- 2:44Speaker 1: you can win a family four pack right now in
- 2:47Speaker 1: to Pups at the Pitch. It's going down Sunday, Indy 11,
- 2:50Speaker 1: taking on Oakland Roots.
- 2:52Speaker 4: This dog, a talking animated dog, is in the movie Up.
- 2:59Speaker 4: He says, I have just met you and I love you.
- 3:02Speaker 4: He's always looking around for squirrels and stuff.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Honestly, I don't. This is one that stumped me.
- 3:06Speaker 4: I thought it might be a little bit tougher this
- 3:08Speaker 4: morning because a lot of these other dogs, they are
- 3:10Speaker 4: like the main character.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Like their name is in the title.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Maybe not Slinky Dog yesterday, but today, can you name
- 3:17Speaker 4: the dog.
- 3:18Speaker 2: From the movie? Fantastic Pixar movie.
- 3:21Speaker 5: 317-663-9797.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Text your answer to us and you get internet to
- 3:24Speaker 4: win tickets to see our Indy 11 play.
- 3:32Speaker 1: You know, I was fairly confident I knew all these pups,
- 3:35Speaker 1: and now I'm kind of disappointed in myself. It's Annie
- 3:37Speaker 1: and Cole, 97-1 Hank FM. If you've been playing along
- 3:40Speaker 1: this week, you name that pup for Pups at the
- 3:43Speaker 1: Pitch Night coming to Indy 11, Oakley Roots Sunday.
- 3:47Speaker 3: You want to be there. It's your chance to win.
- 3:50Speaker 4: This puppet animated one in the movie Up saying, I've
- 3:54Speaker 4: just met you and I love you. And he's always
- 3:56Speaker 4: saying squirrel and stuff. And he had like a special
- 3:58Speaker 4: collar on so he could talk.
- 4:00Speaker 3: I have no idea what this dog's name is.
- 4:02Speaker 4: No clue.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I feel like you're going to know as soon as
- 4:04Speaker 2: I say it.
- 4:04Speaker 3: I honestly don't know any of the characters names in Up.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Carl is another one.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Old man, boy and dog.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I don't.
- 4:14Speaker 2: The dog's name. You've seen the movie though, right?
- 4:16Speaker 3: I love the movie.
- 4:17Speaker 5: Okay.
- 4:17Speaker 2: The dog's name in Up. Is Doug.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Oh.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Would you have gotten that?
- 4:24Speaker 4: Or like, well, you wouldn't have gotten it because you didn't,
- 4:26Speaker 4: but does that ring a bell? It makes sense now, yes.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Doug is the name of the dog in the movie.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Congratulations to our winner today and all this week. Go
- 4:33Speaker 4: in to see the Indy 11 this weekend.
- 4:36Speaker 2: It's Good Review Friday with Annie and Cole.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Shout out to my husband. Birthday hater. But made my
- 4:45Speaker 3: birthday great last weekend.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Nice.
- 4:47Speaker 3: He put his feelings aside. Oh, we did stick and hack.
- 4:51Speaker 3: We talked a little bit about this to start the week.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I have been wanting to go there. It's a ton
- 4:57Speaker 2: of fun.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I was just looking at pictures of this purple drink
- 5:01Speaker 1: that they that they made this one of them that's
- 5:03Speaker 1: on their menu.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I can't.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I still as an adult have not turned 42 this
- 5:07Speaker 1: past week, have not found an adult drink to order.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean?
- 5:13Speaker 3: Like my husband's like very much like a Jack and
- 5:15Speaker 3: Coke guy or an old fashioned.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Oh, okay. Like, so you're thinking like a cocktail.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't have one.
- 5:20Speaker 2: You're at a nice dinner. I panic. And you want
- 5:23Speaker 2: to order a cocktail.
- 5:25Speaker 1: So I like when they have already like pre-named ones
- 5:27Speaker 1: that I can choose from.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 3: And so this one was purple and sparkly. It literally
- 5:31Speaker 3: had glitter in it.
- 5:32Speaker 5: Yes.
- 5:33Speaker 3: And it was lovely.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I don't know what it was. Okay, good.
- 5:35Speaker 3: But if you go there, get the purple sparkly drink.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Okay.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Are they pictures that I can.
- 5:41Speaker 3: No, it's described as having sparkles.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Oh, you'll know when you read it. Yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Okay.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I think it says glitter.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Glitter is one of the.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Which weirded me out, but I really liked it.
- 5:51Speaker 2: There's like glitter on desserts every once in a while,
- 5:55Speaker 2: like cakes and cupcakes.
- 5:55Speaker 3: I've eaten worse things, so glitter was probably the least
- 5:58Speaker 3: of my worries.
- 6:00Speaker 4: My good review goes to Smalley Sweets. That is S-M-A-L-L-E-Y.com.
- 6:07Speaker 4: They did the cookies for Josie's birthday party, the Trader
- 6:11Speaker 4: Josie's cookies that I don't know if you saw. But
- 6:14Speaker 4: we posted some of the stuff. But if you didn't,
- 6:16Speaker 4: they are also on their Instagram. That is Smalley, S-M-A-L-L-E-Y sweets.
- 6:24Speaker 4: They were so cute also. They were so good.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Sometimes those cookies are not good. These were good. So
- 6:31Speaker 2: big shout out to them and a big thank you
- 6:33Speaker 2: for making those cookies.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Sandy and Cole971, Hank F. We are being so easily
- 6:38Speaker 1: distracted here in the studio because I found some photos.
- 6:41Speaker 2: These are like old photos. These are cool.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Of like me as a kid because we were talking
- 6:46Speaker 1: about off air and now on air.
- 6:49Speaker 3: The Toy Hall of Fame.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Yeah, they released the 12 finalists this year. I always
- 6:53Speaker 4: like to look at these. It's always interesting to me
- 6:55Speaker 4: that Some of these people or these toys haven't already
- 6:59Speaker 4: been in the Hall of Fame or just going down
- 7:01Speaker 4: memory lane. Here are your 12 finalists this year.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Bingo. Bop It. Oh, Bop It. It's a good one.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Care Bears.
- 7:11Speaker 4: How?
- 7:12Speaker 2: You know what's making a comeback?
- 7:13Speaker 4: I feel like this year I'm hearing a lot more
- 7:15Speaker 4: about it, mostly because you and you want to learn Mahjong.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Yes.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Mahjong is hot right now.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Mahjong is hot right now.
- 7:22Speaker 3: It's having a moment.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Like the library does a whole thing, but it's not
- 7:25Speaker 2: for beginners.
- 7:26Speaker 3: No, you got to know how to play.
- 7:27Speaker 2: You got to know how to play Mahjong.
- 7:29Speaker 1: My neighbors, though, they run the MCL cafeteria in town
- 7:32Speaker 1: and they do Mahjong, learn to play.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Okay, good.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And you get MCL cafeteria food with it.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Oh, that's a good deal. So yeah, there you go, Mahjong.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Monster High Dolls, The Board Game Mousetrap, Pokemon Cards, Polly Pocket,
- 7:48Speaker 4: The Slide, like an actual playground slide.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Which is considered a toy.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Those are the ones that crack me up.
- 7:53Speaker 2: The Slide. Okay. The Board Game Sorry, Yahtzee, and Tickle
- 7:59Speaker 2: Me Elmo.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Oh, my sister and her Tickle Me Elmo.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Goodness. Do you really want to know? Annie and Cole
- 8:08Speaker 2: want to know.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Growing up, what was your go-to, like, toys?
- 8:12Speaker 1: Did you have a stuffed animal? Did you have a blanket? Your, like,
- 8:15Speaker 1: safety net that you took with you everywhere. Because I'm realizing,
- 8:17Speaker 1: as we were reminiscing here in the studio, that all
- 8:20Speaker 1: of mine, man, they had tragic endings. Ohio Bear, which
- 8:26Speaker 1: my mom gave me.
- 8:27Speaker 3: I'm very creative.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It was a bear wearing Ohio t-shirts. Went to my
- 8:32Speaker 1: babysitter's house. Ohio Bear never came home. So my mom,
- 8:35Speaker 1: to make up for Ohio Bear, gave me Ralph, which
- 8:38Speaker 1: in the 80s and 90s, there was this character called
- 8:40Speaker 1: Sad Sam. It was this dog with these sad eyes.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Ralphie was it. I carried that thing everywhere. His head
- 8:47Speaker 1: fell off. My mom sewed it back on.
- 8:49Speaker 2: His ears fell off.
- 8:50Speaker 3: My mom sewed them back on.
- 8:50Speaker 1: She wasn't great at sewing, so they were all a
- 8:52Speaker 1: little crooked.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Went to Kentucky to visit my grandparents who were staying
- 8:56Speaker 3: at a hotel.
- 8:56Speaker 1: This is my fault. I still, to this day, am like,
- 9:01Speaker 1: Realized that I did this. I didn't take Ralph to
- 9:04Speaker 1: the farm with me. I left him at the hotel.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I thought maybe he needed a break. Like he just
- 9:08Speaker 1: needed to hang out at the hotel.
- 9:09Speaker 5: Right.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Came back. Ralph was gone.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Oh no.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Someone stole Ralphie. I went to the front desk crying. Like, sorry.
- 9:19Speaker 1: You know, we checked like housekeeping. They didn't, I thought
- 9:22Speaker 1: maybe he got wrapped up in the blankets. Couldn't find him.
- 9:26Speaker 3: He was gone. We had to go back home. And
- 9:28Speaker 3: so I left my name, my phone number, my address,
- 9:32Speaker 3: a picture of Ralph.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:34Speaker 2: How old were you when you were doing this?
- 9:35Speaker 3: Probably too old. I want to say I was like 12,
- 9:39Speaker 3: 11 or 12. But I had a locket. And in
- 9:42Speaker 3: the locket, it was a picture of Ralph. So when
- 9:45Speaker 3: I was like... If you see... Basically, I'm missing... I
- 9:48Speaker 3: don't even... I don't know why my parents let me
- 9:50Speaker 3: do this.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I took the picture out of my locket that was
- 9:53Speaker 1: around my neck.
- 9:54Speaker 3: And I was like, if you find Ralph, please contact me.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. They never did.
- 10:02Speaker 3: They never did.
- 10:03Speaker 2: That's too bad.
- 10:04Speaker 4: You know, as we were talking about this, I was
- 10:06Speaker 4: trying to think of my own because I didn't have
- 10:09Speaker 4: any immediately. Actually, my first thought was my sister who
- 10:12Speaker 4: had like a baby doll and a blanket that she had.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Yeah. Four.
- 10:17Speaker 4: And I also remember misplacing them at a hotel one
- 10:19Speaker 4: time and it.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Was like a whole thing.
- 10:22Speaker 4: But I actually have three things that come to mind.
- 10:25Speaker 4: The first one is the toy that I played with
- 10:27Speaker 4: more than any other toy growing up, which is a
- 10:29Speaker 4: PlaySchool basketball hoop.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Classic.
- 10:32Speaker 4: I was in our basement just hitting buzzer readers and
- 10:35Speaker 4: dunking all of the time. I remember putting on a
- 10:40Speaker 4: Shaquille O'Neal documentary VHS.
- 10:42Speaker 2: That I got from the library and then I was
- 10:43Speaker 2: just playing basketball. Like all in the basement all day.
- 10:47Speaker 4: The other two that come to mind, which I recently
- 10:50Speaker 4: got both of them back from my.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Parents who just had them in a box somewhere.
- 10:55Speaker 4: But with baby Josie on the way a couple of
- 10:57Speaker 4: years ago, I got them both back and it's kind
- 10:59Speaker 4: of cool to like have her play with them now.
- 11:02Speaker 2: One of them is a safari Winnie.
- 11:04Speaker 4: The Pooh that I got at Disney World when I
- 11:06Speaker 4: was like six that we were, which is kind of
- 11:09Speaker 4: funny that we were on the hunt for this safari
- 11:11Speaker 4: Winnie the Pooh, like this specific one.
- 11:14Speaker 2: The other one, I don't know if.
- 11:15Speaker 4: You remember, maybe some people around here will, is an
- 11:20Speaker 4: Indianapolis Colts touchdown monkey. You have any idea what I'm
- 11:23Speaker 4: talking about?
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that one. That's that's a cool one. I've still
- 11:26Speaker 2: got it, too.
- 11:27Speaker 3: So is there that.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Toy that you like had with you everywhere before?
- 11:33Speaker 3: What was it?
- 11:34Speaker 1: The Toy Hall of Fame has announced its finalists for
- 11:36Speaker 1: the class of 2026. And so we're reminiscing about our
- 11:41Speaker 1: childhood toys. I'm sorry that mine all had tragic endings. Yours, though,
- 11:45Speaker 1: still live on like you've given yours to your daughter.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Yes, I do have a picture. We're going to get
- 11:49Speaker 4: it posted here shortly of baby Josie with. an Indianapolis
- 11:52Speaker 4: Colts touchdown monkey, which is pretty cool. It is cool
- 11:54Speaker 4: to see her like play with those things. I wish
- 11:57Speaker 4: I still had that play school basketball goal. Cause I
- 11:59Speaker 4: would just play with it.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Honestly, it was awesome.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Also, when you say your toys had tragic endings, I
- 12:07Speaker 4: keep thinking that Sid at the kid next door and
- 12:09Speaker 4: toy story just blew up your teddy bears.
- 12:12Speaker 2: You know what?
- 12:12Speaker 3: That might've happened because they just disappeared. Where did they go?
- 12:16Speaker 4: This one on the armor air text line says the
- 12:18Speaker 4: toy I had everywhere with me is my doodle bear toy.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Chris saying, I have a Kansas Jayhawks stuffy that plays
- 12:24Speaker 4: the alma mater.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Our three kids all used it as well.
- 12:27Speaker 1: That's my favorite when you can pass it on to
- 12:29Speaker 1: your kids. Like, my niece plays with our old school
- 12:31Speaker 1: Barbie cars.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Oh, nice.
- 12:34Speaker 3: My mom kept those in the basement forever.
- 12:35Speaker 1: They smell a little weird, but they still look a
- 12:39Speaker 1: lot like 90s Barbie cars look cooler.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Than 2026 Barbie cars.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Okay, this is... Has she ever broke one of your
- 12:46Speaker 2: old ones and you're like, I don't know.
- 12:49Speaker 5: Because.
- 12:50Speaker 4: I remember when my niece was younger and we were
- 12:54Speaker 4: putting up Christmas decorations and I always had my favorite
- 12:57Speaker 4: Christmas ornament and she broke it. Like the year I asked, like, hey,
- 13:01Speaker 4: my parents had this Christmas ornament. I would like to
- 13:04Speaker 4: take it and now put it on my own tree.
- 13:05Speaker 4: It was my favorite for 25 years or whatever. And
- 13:08Speaker 4: the year I asked for it, she had broke it.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Annie and Cole, Friday Friends, 97.1 Hank FM.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Tim McGrath joining us on the phone this morning.
- 13:19Speaker 3: So excited, Tim. How are you feeling? How's Faith? I
- 13:22Speaker 3: know you guys have been kind of dealing with some
- 13:24Speaker 3: health issues. Everybody okay?
- 13:27Speaker 4: Everything's good.
- 13:29Speaker 5: You know, we're cooking right along, all back to 100%.
- 13:31Speaker 5: You know, my kids are doing great. Faith's doing great. Audrey,
- 13:38Speaker 5: my youngest, is out playing shows, so we get to
- 13:40Speaker 5: catch a show of hers every now and then. Last summer,
- 13:42Speaker 5: we got to spend... a month in Europe being her
- 13:45Speaker 5: roadies and following her around. She was opening for Brandi
- 13:47Speaker 5: Carlile on her European tour. So that was fun for
- 13:51Speaker 5: us last year. So after watching my daughter tour last summer,
- 13:54Speaker 5: I get to go back out and tour this year
- 13:57Speaker 5: for mine. And it's been a while since we've done
- 14:00Speaker 5: a solid tour because of some injuries and stuff. But
- 14:03Speaker 5: we're 100% back now.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Country Music Hall of Fame class of 2026. Way to go.
- 14:09Speaker 1: What would you say to that kid from Louisiana that
- 14:11Speaker 1: now you're going to be in the Country Music Hall
- 14:13Speaker 1: of Fame?
- 14:14Speaker 5: Well, I don't even believe it now still, so I
- 14:17Speaker 5: don't think I could talk myself or the younger me
- 14:19Speaker 5: into it either. You know, you get in this business,
- 14:22Speaker 5: on one hand, you want to be the biggest star
- 14:25Speaker 5: in the world, and on the other hand, you think
- 14:26Speaker 5: you'll never make it. So it's just sort of the
- 14:29Speaker 5: push and pull that you have as an artist going
- 14:31Speaker 5: through it. But Hall of Fame is never something on
- 14:33Speaker 5: your radar, and I just can't believe it. I just
- 14:38Speaker 5: can't believe that I've hung around this long, hung in
- 14:41Speaker 5: there this long. And really, it's a testament more than
- 14:44Speaker 5: anything to my team of people around me that's always
- 14:46Speaker 5: been around me and helped me throughout my career because
- 14:49Speaker 5: none of this happens in a vacuum and it certainly
- 14:51Speaker 5: doesn't happen alone.
- 14:52Speaker 1: When you mention your team, are you the one handling
- 14:55Speaker 1: like your social media accounts or do you have people
- 14:57Speaker 1: helping you out with that?
- 14:59Speaker 5: I do. I mean, I'm involved a bit, but they
- 15:02Speaker 5: don't let me personally do it because they're scared of
- 15:04Speaker 5: what I might do sometimes on instinct.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Okay, well, I'll ask you this question. I just saw
- 15:09Speaker 1: a shirtless pic of you posted with your brothers. Do
- 15:12Speaker 1: they know what they're doing when they post those pictures?
- 15:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I think that they're the ones that are working
- 15:17Speaker 5: on that kind of stuff.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Every time we talk to you, Tim, I end the
- 15:21Speaker 1: interview on the same exact question. We have to know,
- 15:23Speaker 1: are we ever going to get another Soul to Soul tour?
- 15:26Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh. Wouldn't that be awesome? I don't know.
- 15:30Speaker 5: That's a lot of work.
- 15:32Speaker 2: That's a lot of work.
- 15:35Speaker 5: And plus, I don't know if I can keep up
- 15:37Speaker 5: with Faith anymore.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Well, we're excited we got you in town. Thank you, Tim,
- 15:41Speaker 3: for hanging out with us.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Thank you, guys. Can't wait to see you.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Annie and Cole, weekday mornings 6 to 10 on 97.1
- 15:47Speaker 2: Hank FM.
