- 0:00Speaker 1: Much more mark mark simone now nine till noon weekdays
- 0:05Speaker 1: on 710 wor hey we'll take some calls 800-321-0710 is
- 0:13Speaker 1: the number 800-321-0710 if you have a boeing stock you
- 0:20Speaker 1: might have noticed it took a drop today uh here's
- 0:24Speaker 1: the problem oh this doesn't sound good boeing says it
- 0:27Speaker 1: found a software glitch On the new 737 MAX, this
- 0:32Speaker 1: is the big new plane, the 737 MAX, but it
- 0:34Speaker 1: says they found a software glitch that could affect landing procedures.
- 0:42Speaker 1: That sounds pretty serious. Landing is a very important part
- 0:46Speaker 1: of the flight. Now, hey, are our phones working? This
- 0:52Speaker 1: phone is dark here. It's usually lit up with all
- 0:54Speaker 1: the things. It's dark. I don't know why. Maybe this
- 0:57Speaker 1: one's just off, but the one in there is on, right?
- 0:59Speaker 1: So that's That's all that matters. You know, the UN,
- 1:03Speaker 1: it's still going on with this UN General Assembly, but
- 1:06Speaker 1: it's not going to be a lot of traffic because
- 1:08Speaker 1: all the world leaders are gone. Thank God. They're all
- 1:12Speaker 1: out of town, so this will be much better. But
- 1:13Speaker 1: the UN continues its work. Nobody knows what the hell
- 1:17Speaker 1: that is, except just this UN is the most disgusting
- 1:22Speaker 1: anti-Semitic organization in the world. Just awful anti-Semitic crap that
- 1:28Speaker 1: goes on there. Do you know that the UN has
- 1:30Speaker 1: a list, a blacklist of 60 companies that they want
- 1:36Speaker 1: blacklisted because the companies do business with Israel? It's absolutely disgusting.
- 1:44Speaker 1: This is the UN Office of the High Commissioner for
- 1:47Speaker 1: Human Rights, which is like the worst anti-Semite of all.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So the United Nations, if you do any business in
- 1:55Speaker 1: parts of Israel or parts of Gaza, They've got 214
- 2:01Speaker 1: companies that they're blacklisting, major companies. They have Motorola travel
- 2:09Speaker 1: apps like Airbnb, TripAdvisor. It's just awful. The United Nations
- 2:16Speaker 1: claims that certain parts of the Jewish community beyond the
- 2:21Speaker 1: 1949 armistice lines are in occupied Palestinian territory. Well, this
- 2:27Speaker 1: is absolutely– again– It could go on and on list
- 2:30Speaker 1: all the anti-Semitic things that go on in the UN.
- 2:36Speaker 1: But this is just another one. I know most people
- 2:37Speaker 1: don't know that they run this blacklist. It's absolutely disgusting.
- 2:42Speaker 1: So let's see if it works. I don't know. Maybe
- 2:45Speaker 1: it's just the light on the phone. Let's try it.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Let's go to Blovelt in Florida. Blovelt, are you there?
- 2:50Speaker 2: Good morning, sir.
- 2:53Speaker 1: How are you? Good. What's going on in Florida?
- 2:56Speaker 3: Oh, it's 88 degrees. The humidity's gone. It's getting a
- 2:59Speaker 3: little cooler.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Really?
- 3:01Speaker 3: It's the right time of year to be down.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Hey, don't give me that. You know, here it was
- 3:04Speaker 1: 80 and sunny all weekend. We had the most beautiful weekend.
- 3:06Speaker 1: The sun was shining. It was wonderful.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I miss September.
- 3:12Speaker 2: In New York City. I sure do.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Actually, it was pouring rain. I don't want anybody
- 3:15Speaker 1: to think this is a rerun. It was awful. Hey, Eddie,
- 3:17Speaker 1: go ahead. Blow a valve.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Quick question for you. You're always talking about when you're
- 3:22Speaker 3: promoting the other radio shows, Buck and Clay and Hannity,
- 3:26Speaker 3: with how many listeners they have. How many listeners do
- 3:28Speaker 3: you have?
- 3:30Speaker 1: Oh, we have a couple million listeners. The podcast, you know,
- 3:34Speaker 1: after the show's over, we podcast it. The podcast did,
- 3:37Speaker 1: I think it was 10.3 million last year. We're going
- 3:40Speaker 1: to try to hit 11 million this year. Oh, that's fantastic.
- 3:44Speaker 1: You know what? Just check every week. It's really interesting.
- 3:46Speaker 1: iHeart puts out a list of the top 100 podcasts
- 3:48Speaker 1: in America. We always make the top 50. That's out
- 3:52Speaker 1: of 2 million podcasts in America. Wow.
- 3:56Speaker 3: I'll look into that. And one more question for you,
- 3:59Speaker 3: if I don't mind.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 3: That new picture of you when I got you up
- 4:03Speaker 3: on iHeart, it seems like you're sitting on the roof. Oh.
- 4:08Speaker 1: It's a very picturesque, beautiful window. It's here at iHeart.
- 4:12Speaker 1: It comes to a point, like a V-shape. That's the one.
- 4:14Speaker 3: It's a window.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Yeah, what'd you think it was? You think I'm hanging
- 4:18Speaker 1: over the ledge? It's a window. Don't you see the
- 4:20Speaker 1: beams behind it? Oh, what happened? Are you there? Oh,
- 4:25Speaker 1: we lost him. Blow out. No, we lost him. Yeah,
- 4:30Speaker 1: it's a window. I can't tell anybody where it is
- 4:32Speaker 1: because it's in a certain spot. I heard here is
- 4:33Speaker 1: like 10 floors of this big, huge skyscraper. And everybody goes,
- 4:37Speaker 1: where's that window? I want to take a picture there.
- 4:39Speaker 1: But you tell somebody, then everybody's got the same picture.
- 4:41Speaker 1: So I don't tell anybody where that window is. It's
- 4:45Speaker 1: a secret. Nobody has ever found it here at iHeart.
- 4:49Speaker 1: You know, we got this hallway. When you come in,
- 4:51Speaker 1: the main entrance, the main entranceway, it's all lights all
- 4:54Speaker 1: the way down the hallway. You've seen that. You'll see
- 4:58Speaker 1: that picture. Everybody takes a picture. It's a million lights
- 5:01Speaker 1: all the way down the hallway. Looks like you're walking
- 5:03Speaker 1: through AI or something. It's quite beautiful. But 800-321- 0-7-10
- 5:09Speaker 1: is the number. Let's go to Barbie in Wayne, New Jersey. Barbie,
- 5:15Speaker 1: are you there?
- 5:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Barbie, I like that name. That's a great name.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It's a great name. Yeah.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Don't rush.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Anytime you feel like jumping in. Yes, go ahead.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Oh.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Listen, my friend is married to a man. who came
- 5:35Speaker 2: from China about seven years ago and applied for political asylum.
- 5:40Speaker 2: And in the meantime, he got married and married four
- 5:43Speaker 2: years to her. And he got a letter a month ago.
- 5:46Speaker 2: They refused the political asylum and they're in the process
- 5:49Speaker 2: of deportation.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Oh, that's terrible.
- 5:52Speaker 2: You know, I'm a big, well, it is, I'm a
- 5:55Speaker 2: big Trump supporter. And I didn't know that this was
- 6:00Speaker 2: part of the plan. I mean, he's not an illegal.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Well, is he a citizen? Does he have a green card,
- 6:07Speaker 1: all that stuff?
- 6:09Speaker 2: A visa.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Yeah, well, the visa's only temporary. You've got to get
- 6:13Speaker 1: a green card.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I know, but he's married.
- 6:15Speaker 1: If he marries her, doesn't that help him stay?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Well, that's why we don't understand.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Is she a citizen?
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah, of course.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Well, that should help.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Well, I mean, why... Why.
- 6:33Speaker 2: You know, this is the biggest irony, is that he's
- 6:36Speaker 2: a Trump supporter.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Well, it's terrible.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I mean, he doesn't vote because he can't.
- 6:39Speaker 1: You think he's really being deported? You think he's really
- 6:43Speaker 1: being deported? Because sometimes a guy wants to get away
- 6:45Speaker 1: from this marriage. That's a good excuse.
- 6:47Speaker 3: No.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm being deported.
- 6:49Speaker 2: He got a letter that. He got a letter that. Well,
- 6:52Speaker 2: you can make.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Up a letter on AI. You sure he's really being deported? Listen. Yes.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Mark.
- 6:56Speaker 3: What?
- 6:57Speaker 2: If you're not going to take it serious, I'm going
- 6:59Speaker 2: to hang up. I mean, he's upsetting. He's a good friend.
- 7:02Speaker 1: No, I agree with you. That's a terrible situation. So
- 7:04Speaker 1: what I would do is wherever he is.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Let me just say this. Let me just say this.
- 7:09Speaker 2: And she's reading where they're not trying to.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Well, listen to me. Listen to me. What he should
- 7:14Speaker 1: do immediately is call his congressman or woman. Call them.
- 7:19Speaker 1: It's most likely a Democrat. Tell him you got some
- 7:22Speaker 1: anti-Trump situation here. And they'll jump on it. Usually a
- 7:25Speaker 1: congressperson can do something.
- 7:26Speaker 2: No, listen, they did. And they got a letter back
- 7:29Speaker 2: saying that they asked to be expedited, the paperwork.
- 7:34Speaker 1: All right, well, try the congressman. Try the local TV news,
- 7:39Speaker 1: News 12, all that. Try writing letters. Well, get some
- 7:43Speaker 1: press on it. Yeah. Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Do you think President Trump listens? Every day? I mean,
- 7:51Speaker 2: I'm really nervous.
- 7:53Speaker 1: It's not about President Trump. It's not up to him.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You want to get somebody in the local ICE office somewhere. Again,
- 7:58Speaker 1: keep calling your congressman. Call the governors. They're all Democrats.
- 8:02Speaker 1: They'll love an anti-Trump story. Call them and get them
- 8:04Speaker 1: on this, and then they can bring a lot of
- 8:06Speaker 1: attention to it and maybe stop it.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Okay. All right. Thank you, Mark.
- 8:10Speaker 3: All right.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. Well, we've got a lot to get
- 8:14Speaker 1: to today. We'll get to SNL. It was pretty good
- 8:18Speaker 1: at times. and pretty bad at times, typical for SNL.
- 8:22Speaker 1: We'll get to the new iPhone. We'll get to China,
- 8:26Speaker 1: and we're going to get back to AI. We've got
- 8:28Speaker 1: a lot to talk about. Don't forget, I'm here three
- 8:29Speaker 1: hours every day, nine to noon every day, nine to noon.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Then at noon, you've got Buck Sexton, Clay Travis, a
- 8:37Speaker 1: great show every day, very, very popular. Then you've got
- 8:40Speaker 1: the most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity,
- 8:44Speaker 1: three o'clock. You've got Jesse Kelly at six. You've got
- 8:47Speaker 1: the very funny Jimmy Fela at 9 o'clock every night.
- 8:52Speaker 1: That's all here on 710WOR.
