William & Lily retired in 2009. William from the computer industry, Lily from government, construction CAD/CAM project work. Two years after retiring, a very devastating earthquake hit the area of Peru where Lily was born. She felt strongly called by God to do something for these people. They founded LAMA ministries as a 501c3 charity in 2019, and acquired a donated piece of land in the middle of a village that is surrounded by 5 others.
