39. Beastly Pets: Jean's Wild Day at the Zoo & Jellybean
Welcome back to Storytime with Lucky Podcast.
In this episode we read Beastly Pets by Adrian Bradbury and Jellybean by Gill Munton. Jean visits zoo animals who try to convince her to take them home — from a friendly wolf and a roof-perching eagle to a greedy-but-playful shark — leading Jean to choose a small goldfish. Then the story Jellybean follows a child pleading for various pets, trying out an elephant, a sheep, and a mouse before finally settling on a jellybean-named goldfish. A fun, whimsical look at the ups and downs of pet ownership for young listeners.
