  Speaker 1: to lap, and it'll be really awesome. It's his first

  Speaker 1: like holiday, you know what I mean. What I think

  Speaker 1: of like holiday, I really just think of like Thanksgiving

  Speaker 1: and Christmas. And I'm excited to have that. We're you

  Speaker 1: celebrating Thanksgiving Eastern Um, We're gonna be my parents for

  Speaker 1: a whole week. Very excited. Oh nice? Well, Uh, I

  Speaker 1: can't wait to hear the stories of just Dawson getting

  Speaker 1: the love. Can he eat food yet? Like real food? Yeah?

  Speaker 1: So he'll eat some stuffing and some potatoes. He's like

  Speaker 1: supposed to put those types of soft solids in his mouth.

  Speaker 1: I don't love it. But the pedetricians says, I like

  Speaker 1: they need to like kind of like learn how to

  Speaker 1: eat and like use their draw and stuff. So very

  Speaker 1: small bites, very muchy things. My dad, he says, not

  Speaker 1: comfortable at all. My dad's like purees or nothing. So

  Speaker 1: it'll be interesting to see. Yeah, well, big week for Generous. Actually, oh,

  Speaker 1: why is that we launched our new art bags today?

  Speaker 1: Their four nonprofits. Yeah, they're getting four nonprofits. They all

  Speaker 1: design their own bags and the profits from each bag

  Speaker 1: being bought will be donated to the individual nonprofits. So

  Speaker 1: I'm ready to be done with work. Honestly, I love Generous,

  Speaker 1: love watching four hours of it every week. I don't

  Speaker 1: want it to end because I enjoy the content. I

  Speaker 1: do want it to end because I'm tired of watching

  Speaker 1: four hours. So that, like, I wonder if maybe next
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: season it will be back to like one episode a week.

  Speaker 1: We've always had two episodes. Oh, have we always had
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: two episodes week. I don't know we've had seasons or
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: we have two episodes, but four hours is very long
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: for ten weeks, very long. It's not usually this many weeks.

  Speaker 1: It's not always been this many hours a week. I
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: remember my season it was twice a week, but it
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: was two hours then an hour on Tuesday, which as

  Speaker 1: make a world of a difference. Yeah, so I am

  Speaker 1: excited for its end, but I also am sad it's
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: ending because I thought this season had some really great moments.

  Speaker 1: I thought some episodes were slow because it was ten
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: weeks long. Um. But let's jump into breaking down the

  Speaker 1: very first episode of this week leading out to the
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: very finale, A Bachelor in Paradise. Okay, I'm gonna set

  Speaker 1: the scene really quick. This is the stupid rose ceremony

  Speaker 1: that we have every year, and I don't know why
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: we don't eliminate it, because this is the rose ceremony
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: where people give each other roses and then the next
• 4:35
  Speaker 1: morning they wake up and break up with each other.

  Speaker 1: Just do that here. It does happen every season. Do

  Speaker 1: do they know, Ashley? You know from behind the scenes.

  Speaker 1: Do the contestants know this is the last like rose
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: ceremony or are they are they not aware yet? They?

  Speaker 1: I think you know, I I knew. I felt like
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: I knew well, And you're also like a little yourategists

  Speaker 1: like you knew, you know the behind the scenes, and

  Speaker 1: you're thinking like, yeah, back then, I was in season

  Speaker 1: two and three, so it wasn't exactly protocol yet, but

  Speaker 1: now it's protocol. It's too predictable and it's time for

  Speaker 1: them to make people make decisions that night. Okay, well,
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: then all the roads that are given out. Wells does
• 5:22
  Speaker 1: a little segment at the beginning which is very cute
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: and nice and yeah, definitely, but but it's rehearses what's
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: happened over the season. Michael gives his rose to Danielle.

  Speaker 1: Big Shocker. Brandon gives his rose to Serene, Big Shocker.

  Speaker 1: Johnny gives his rose to Victoria. Big Shocker. Tyler gives

  Speaker 1: his rose to Brittany. Aaron gives his rose to Genevieve.

  Speaker 1: When are they going to break up? We'll find out soon.

  Speaker 1: Joey gives his rost to Cheney. And here's the interesting

  Speaker 1: one that we got to talk about. Logan gives his

  Speaker 1: rose to Kate, but Kate says no and again to me,

  Speaker 1: and you're a massive fan of Kate and I can

  Speaker 1: say I'm not not a fan of Kate fan. Okay,

  Speaker 1: I find her to be good TV. Okay, well, at

  Speaker 1: what point, actually does good TV become really mean? Because

  Speaker 1: feel like a child. Yeah, like, yeah, I know, it's

  Speaker 1: all really sad. She goes, I know what I want

  Speaker 1: and it's not this, And she just did like a

  Speaker 1: whole bunch of other mean things, Like she's like those
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: projections that you say about me. Actually you like all

  Speaker 1: this you talk about me, it's yours And maybe I'm crazy.

  Speaker 1: And I've just like not watched all the episodes and
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: I have, but I really have. I think i've watched them.

  Speaker 1: I've never, if anything, I've seen Logan confused. I've never
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: seen him saying anything that brings her down. Yeah yeah,
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: I know, Like has there been those moments? No, if anything,
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: he usually just like kind of seems lost because she
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: comes maybe yeah yeah, yeah exactly, he's like lost searching
• 7:06
  Speaker 1: for where she came up with what she just said. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: so she throws it back on him, Hey, these are
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: projections of you. I'm going, no, you cannot live in that,

  Speaker 1: and you know that's not okay. But then she leaves
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: and she like pretty much pieces out, and he's standing
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: there like, wait, I thought this was something. And now
• 7:28
  Speaker 1: she's pretty much non emotional, non apologetic, being like, hey,
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: you're the like she made him feel like the worst
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: dude in the world, and I'm wondering where did like why,
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: I don't know. She says a nut and then at
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: the end she says I want a guy with a
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: big and it bleeps it out, and I'm assuming I
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: know what she's saying, like, you know, a big heart,
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: and so they bleeped it out. But they could have
• 7:57
  Speaker 1: she could have said wallet, which would be or on
• 8:00
  Speaker 1: par for Kate, Well, she did say big bank account. Yeah,
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: so the first part was I'm gonna find a man
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: or I'm gonna find a man with a big bleep
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: and a big bank account. Why would they bleep heart?

  Speaker 1: That feels like a very nice word, very funny. Then okay,
• 8:18
  Speaker 1: so beyond Kate, we there's like no surprises in that
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: rose ceremony. The next morning, it's time for the couples
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: to have that serious chat. Do we leave Paradise together
• 8:31
  Speaker 1: or do we not leave a paradise together? But see,
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: normally at this time, they're basically not allowed to leave
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: as a boyfriend and girlfriend couple. They have to either
• 8:42
  Speaker 1: break up or they have to get engage, or you know,
• 8:46
  Speaker 1: they have to be on the road to engagement, you know.
• 8:49
  Speaker 1: I think that I think the conversations were a little
• 8:53
  Speaker 1: bit more steered in the direction of can we have
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: a serious relationship outside of paradise, but are we ready
• 8:59
  Speaker 1: to get a age this season, which was refreshingly real.

  Speaker 1: I think that they did that because, like, look at
• 9:07
  Speaker 1: Becca and Thomas and look at Noah and Abigail, both
• 9:12
  Speaker 1: two couples that may have had I may have not
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: been ready to break up last Paradise right, but then
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: broke up because the protocol, because the model, and then
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: they got back together and they've been happy couples for
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: the past year, and now an engaged couple with Thomas Rebecca.
• 9:36
  Speaker 1: So why should we make couples breakup if they're not
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: ready to break up? That's just absolutely ridiculous. So I'm
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: really excited to see people continue in the real world,
• 9:46
  Speaker 1: including or or you know, including um Brittany and Tyler.
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: And then I guess The only other couple that left
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: as a couple but not engaged in this moment is
• 9:59
  Speaker 1: Danielle Michael, and we're also happy for Danielle and Michael.

  Speaker 1: How sweet is this? Yeah, it did feel like this
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: season more than any other season, couples were talking about
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: like almost like the forced engagement. Yeah, I think so,
• 10:15
  Speaker 1: does that make sense? Yeah? And I'm really glad that
• 10:18
  Speaker 1: now there's not that pressure to get engaged. I just
• 10:21
  Speaker 1: think that, like the show in general is seeing that, like,
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: maybe it's healthier for these people to day it outside
• 10:28
  Speaker 1: the show before getting engaged. And and our track record
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: of engagements isn't that great lately, So let's just get
• 10:37
  Speaker 1: as many strong relationships as possible. Yeah, Um, all right, Ashley,
• 10:43
  Speaker 1: I want to dive in here to some of the
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: couple's conversations the next morning. Um, obviously Brandon Serene. As
• 10:50
  Speaker 1: much as I'd love to see more of them, I
• 10:53
  Speaker 1: also don't really need to talk about them because we
• 10:56
  Speaker 1: kind of know what they're going towards. So it leads
• 10:59
  Speaker 1: us to tie there in Brittany, another couple on the
• 11:01
  Speaker 1: beach that feels very strong, but we just don't seen
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: just feels very strong, but we have no idea why, right,
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: and so yeah, they they have a conversation. Um. Then
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: it's really weird how they do this on Paradise and
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: and I kind of want to bring clarity to it.

  Speaker 1: You know, it felt like Michael waited a long time
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: to talk to Danielle. Is there like a staging room,
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: like Okay, it's now, it's your turn. Now it's your turn.

  Speaker 1: Now it's your turn. Okay. Awkward and nerve racking, and
• 11:29
  Speaker 1: you truly just go to like the girl's room and
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: then like a lounge for the guys, and you just
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: wait until one of the couples is sent to go
• 11:37
  Speaker 1: and pick up the other. Yeah, okay, So like it's
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: not like Michael's just chilling the beach being like I
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: don't know why I haven't talked Danielle all day. No,
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: you're sequestered until it's your turn to talk. Yeah. That
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: makes sense, And I think that's good for people to know,
• 11:51
  Speaker 1: because if not, it brings kind of the wrong message. Um,
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: you know, maybe they're thinking through things. So Tyler and
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: Brittany are first. Uh, Tyler mentioned he's not ready for

  Speaker 1: an engagement, right, he's not, but they but they want
• 12:06
  Speaker 1: to try this out. Yeah. But okay, so I here's
• 12:09
  Speaker 1: my take. Okay, we're supposed to think they're serious and
• 12:13
  Speaker 1: they say I love you, so obviously they are serious,
• 12:15
  Speaker 1: but there is something blatantly missing. I feel nothing. And
• 12:21
  Speaker 1: I told you last week that I was really protective
• 12:23
  Speaker 1: of our Brittany, So like, maybe it's just me like
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: that Brittany like deserves a Brandon and Serene type feeling
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: around her, but I just don't feel it. So Joey
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: and Chaney then talk. This is hilarious. This is like
• 12:39
  Speaker 1: a week one relationship in paradise that somehow has made
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: it to the end to start talking about engagement. We
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: just had Joey and Justin on the podcast. It felt
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: like from that show that they were still together. I
• 12:51
  Speaker 1: would have said, yes, they made it work, they're figuring
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: it out. But no, Joey and Shane talk this conversation. Actually, yes,

  Speaker 1: I think a great word to describe of it would

  Speaker 1: be hilarious. She got pointers from Kate. She and Kate

  Speaker 1: talked before this. She's like, I'm looking for a real

  Speaker 1: man who doesn't make TikTok's and dances on social media.

  Speaker 1: I don't want to be a fun, cool and I
• 13:14
  Speaker 1: want to be someone's you know, wife. Oh, it's really funny.

  Speaker 1: And we know from last week that Justin and Joey
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: do take themselves really seriously. They take them tools really seriously.

  Speaker 1: They don't want to be thought of as these young
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: guys who live with their parents, but they they're young
• 13:31
  Speaker 1: men who live with their parents. So I mean, but like,

  Speaker 1: at the same time, and Justin Enjoy are good friends

  Speaker 1: of the podcast. This like if I'm them and if

  Speaker 1: I ever had the advice to give to them, And

  Speaker 1: I think it probably a lot of guests or listeners

  Speaker 1: out there are saying the same thing. Own it, like

  Speaker 1: who cares? You're in Italian? You know, you live with

  Speaker 1: your parents. Your mom you know, makes the great sauce

  Speaker 1: that you're talking about, and you guys get to hang

  Speaker 1: out and do your thing and you're making it work.

  Speaker 1: Who you know, you're gonna find somebody that's maybe in

  Speaker 1: on that, but don't like, don't try to argue where

  Speaker 1: your way out of it. But at the same time,

  Speaker 1: was really mean, Yeah she was, and it was kind

  Speaker 1: of out of left field or field left field, Yeah,

  Speaker 1: like she she pretty much told him he's not a man,

  Speaker 1: and um, you know, the day and age we live in.

  Speaker 1: Like one of the things that you can do to

  Speaker 1: really hurt somebody is be like you're not who you are? Yeah,

  Speaker 1: you know how I but I feel like I went

  Speaker 1: down and she was like, I don't know what to do.

  Speaker 1: She's like, obviously I'm not going to like marry this guy.

  Speaker 1: And then a producer was like, did you know that

  Speaker 1: he makes TikTok videos like all day long? And then

  Speaker 1: she was like, let me show you my phone and

  Speaker 1: then she a saw TikTok and she was like, all right,

  Speaker 1: I'm ready to go talk. Yeah, we'll screw that. If
• 14:47
  Speaker 1: I could figure out a way to make so much
• 14:49
  Speaker 1: money on TikTok, there's a shame the game. It's my game. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: don't hate on those people. That's like a very that's
• 14:59
  Speaker 1: like a cheat code in this world is the TikTok
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: and Instagram world. You can like cheat code your way
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: through and make a lot of money dancing on TikTok, so,
• 15:09
  Speaker 1: you know, and and be at home most of the day.

  Speaker 1: So that relationship ins not a big shocker. Justin tells Florence, hey,
• 15:15
  Speaker 1: he's done. They both contrast to the breakups. It's also hilarious. So, um,

  Speaker 1: I don't think that we should be together and pursue
• 15:24
  Speaker 1: this relationship outside of Paradise, and she goes, Yep, I
• 15:28
  Speaker 1: think so too. Let's hug it out goodbye. It was

  Speaker 1: a two minute conversation. Yeah, I mean, you had to
• 15:35
  Speaker 1: know it's coming. I mean, if these two ended up

  Speaker 1: engaged at the end of the show, I would be floored,

  Speaker 1: Like I would celebrate it, but I didn't see. I mean,

  Speaker 1: it would be wild. Have you have you ever seen

  Speaker 1: anybody coast like Florence did through this season? That's a

  Speaker 1: good question. About two or three sentences spoken. Was on

  Speaker 1: for about eight episodes. Yeah, she got all the she

  Speaker 1: got all the gifts and all the goodies without the

  Speaker 1: drama and without the screen time. Yeah. Yeah, now you're right,

  Speaker 1: that's that's a pretty good move. She did it well.

  Speaker 1: She found her fun fact Jared Jared um he I
• 16:19
  Speaker 1: think he may have gone on a date with her
• 16:20
  Speaker 1: in Bachelor in Paradise, Australia. This was like the last

  Speaker 1: chapter of Jared in My Life in which we weren't
• 16:26
  Speaker 1: together and he didn't give her a rose. He instead
• 16:30
  Speaker 1: laughed and said like I'm I'm leaving without giving out
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: my rose because I don't feel it with anyone. So

  Speaker 1: she was no longer able to continue in the competition.

  Speaker 1: Or I was hoping you said he fell in love

  Speaker 1: and then you then we really getting this and stuff here. No,

  Speaker 1: he just denied her a rose. It's pretty good. It's fine. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: Johnny Victoria are doing well. They're going to continue this thing.

  Speaker 1: Here's the big one that will sit on this part

  Speaker 1: is Aaron and Genevieve. Aaron Genevieve have been the clash

  Speaker 1: of the Titans from the start of this season. They
• 17:18
  Speaker 1: never make sense. They are always fighting there. We've we've

  Speaker 1: excused it with passion and romance and love, and at
• 17:26
  Speaker 1: this point it is like, you know, you have to

  Speaker 1: prove if this relationship is gonna work or not, and

  Speaker 1: it isn't. And actually I'm kind of surprised because I

  Speaker 1: feel like they made it through so much and they
• 17:45
  Speaker 1: fought so hard. I don't know if you're being sarcastic
• 17:48
  Speaker 1: or not. Wait, we've for weeks now tried to explain
• 17:53
  Speaker 1: this relationship. This is where I'm coming from. I'm only
• 17:55
  Speaker 1: learning from the conversations with you. For weeks we've tried
• 17:58
  Speaker 1: to explain this relationship as passionate, and it's one of
• 18:02
  Speaker 1: those relationships that fight and make love hard and forgive
• 18:05
  Speaker 1: easy and they move on. Those relationships never last in
• 18:09
  Speaker 1: the end. M I think they're like a Tom and Giselle.

  Speaker 1: I feel like Tom and Gizl was like this behind
• 18:15
  Speaker 1: closed doors for years. Of course you would figure out
• 18:18
  Speaker 1: a way to reference Tom burd Um. Okay, so you're

  Speaker 1: telling me for weeks now, you've just said no, this
• 18:25
  Speaker 1: relationship is never gonna work. I've always thought you're on
• 18:27
  Speaker 1: the side of This relationship has some some foundations, some
• 18:31
  Speaker 1: substance to it. It certainly has passion and I and
• 18:36
  Speaker 1: lost heat and I like that that. I like to
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: watch those relationships. But I don't think that that's necessarily
• 18:43
