- 0:36SPEAKER_02: I was in Denver.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: You know, it it it went okay, but you know, don't order a Denver omelet there.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: They get they get weird.
- 0:43SPEAKER_02: It's like when you call San Francisco Frisco, you know, just don't just don't do it.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: But Jeff, I I hear you were doing some outreach this week too.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: I I I have heard.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Um, I did uh a little bit of storytelling at a bar in Chicago.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: Um, it's not the first time you've done that, Jeff.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, you've told stories at bars, so you know that's right.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: I was there to watch uh the basketball game, but you know, the crowd started cheering me on and said, you know, why don't you tell us a story?
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: Tell us a story.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: It was interesting, Steve.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: I got up there and and for the most part, nobody you know really gave a shit as what I was saying.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: But I mentioned the Steve and Jeff show, and they went nuts.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: Wow, they started screaming, they started ranting, they started laughing.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Uh Steve, I couldn't believe it.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: It was it was it was amazing.
- 1:31SPEAKER_02: We have fans and bars really nationwide.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: I did really it's let's be honest, worldwide, worldwide.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: We have fans and bars.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: So I kind of did, you know, they it was question and answer.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: They asked me questions, you know, about like how old is your mom, you know, and uh and you know, is that my rumos?
- 1:50SPEAKER_02: And how could your mom really be pregnant?
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: You know, yeah, come on, yeah but she yeah, but come on, she's it's going well, Jeff.
- 1:55SPEAKER_02: It's going well.
- 1:57SPEAKER_02: It is going well.
- 1:58SPEAKER_02: I'm doing the lamas with her, you know, it's really kind of kind of fun.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: You know, it's kind of a bonding thing, you know.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: We sound like she did the la man with her earlier.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: So oh, she sure did with Faux.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: Oh boy, but I digress, Jeff.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: So we have fans all across the human spectrum.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: And and Jeff, you know, tonight we are going to go beyond the blood brain barrier.
- 2:21SPEAKER_02: We're going to go beyond the human spectrum.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: Jeff, we are going to get fans in whatever they are, wherever they live, whatever body they inhabit, they can be our fans.
- 2:32SPEAKER_02: And you know, Jeff, we've got a guest tonight.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: This I know you recognize her, Jeff.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: Look up, but I'll just tap the glass here.
- 2:38SPEAKER_02: Look just the other side, it's right over there.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: Is that Chloe?
- 2:41SPEAKER_02: That is Chloe Montamayor.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: She is back, Jeff.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: And she is, she has written, she's done uh, she's got a new project.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: Hey Chloe, good to see you.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Wow, Chloe.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you look radiant.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: Oh well, wait a minute.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Wait, that's I'm sorry, that's the tint I have on the screen here.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: But no, you still look great.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: Oh, absolutely great.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: Here, here, I'll tap again.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: Look, she's right over.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: You don't have to, you know, I yeah, I look at the screen too, but no, she's right over there, Jeff.
- 3:05SPEAKER_02: I mean, she's over there live.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, that was Steve that was radiant.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: That was me.
- 3:10SPEAKER_02: Steve, you look radiant.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: No, it's just it's just high blood pressure, is all it's really fast.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: Okay, you know, anyways, Chloe, somebody looks radiant.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Maybe it's me.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: But anyways, good to see you.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Yes, likewise, gentlemen.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: It's so good to be back.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: And Chloe, I know for the well, the first time you were here, uh, you had written a book and we we talked about the book, and then you were here also, and you had a you had a colonel.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: I think that's still kind of a military secret, what that was all about.
- 3:35SPEAKER_02: But tonight you've got a new a new project.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: You've done some more writing, I hear, right?
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: For I it has been great to be here for my book on uh romancing the American Man Child.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Uh, that's still in its first print sales are going.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: Well, those will be collectors' items someday, though.
- 3:55SPEAKER_02: You just watch.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: And then, of course, last time I was on, I came on to discuss, you know, my new excitement for aromanticism.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, one of my favorite episodes.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: Changed my life.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: That is I'm gonna listen to it.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna listen to that every Valentine's Day, you know, really, whether I need to or not.
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: It just it just because it I think it really captures the spirit, you know.
- 4:19SPEAKER_02: But but I digress.
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: Go ahead, go ahead.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Well, okay, so I don't really I haven't really had the time or the funding to put together another book, you know, with pages and binding and a cover.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: A lot of cutting and pasting, you know, it's just so not unlike our founding fathers, I have put together a pamphlet.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: Ah, a pamphleteer.
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: Wow, Chloe the pamphleteer.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: Well, uh wow, so what is it now?
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: This is a whole new a whole new direction you're going, right?
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, sometimes you gotta use uh gorilla tactics just like the revolutionaries, you know.
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and when you say gorilla, I mean you might mean because the way I understand your new concept, you might mean the gorillas.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Well, I think I meant it more in like guerrilla, like you know, a guerrilla, like uh oh, like that that Shea guy in Cuba.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, I yeah, no, okay.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Akin to that.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: So not necessarily I'm not necessarily, you know, advocating for communist insurgencies, um, but I am advocating for just revisiting different forms of media that have worked in the past.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: And so I put together a pamphlet.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: It's titled You're his mom, not his girl.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: Tips on releasing a psychosexual grip on your male offspring.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: So catchy, so catchy.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: Did you interview my mom?
- 5:46unknown: Wait.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: Well, I I did a lot of case studies, I'll leave it at that.
- 5:51unknown: Oh, okay.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: I want to protect it.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: So wait, Chloe, could you just uh repeat the name of that one more time?
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I like that title very lowly.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: I would like to hear that again.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it takes a I'm gonna write the first letter for each word.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: I have a feeling it's one of those things where oh like shield or something, you know, or whatever.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: So yeah, like an anachronism, like the thing that spells out a word.
- 6:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: I don't know that it does that.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: It's just the first part is you are his mom, not his girl, Colin.
- 6:24SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's one of those books.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: Okay, I didn't know we were going that direction.
- 6:29SPEAKER_02: Okay, well, but I digress by that.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: And then tips on releasing a psychosexual grip on your male offspring.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, spells out penis.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: I can't believe it.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: What what are the odds of that?
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: What in like what in like Portuguese?
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: I mean, what well, I don't know, maybe I'm not sure.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: Starts with a Y, or you know, I think it's pronounced.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: I think that the Y is pronounced with a P sound, Steve.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: That would be one.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: Which brings me that's like our show generally is you know more for the regular people, but when we have you on our show, it's elevated.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: All of a sudden, it's classy, it's intellectual, it has deep meaning.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm glad that you feel that way, but to bring you the content that I do, I have to go deep into the bowels of social media.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: Oh, I like that.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: I don't like that.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: Oh, you do, Steve?
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: I do.
- 7:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, oh yeah.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: I know my dad does.
- 7:35SPEAKER_02: Oh, I've been trying I've been trying to find that for so long, too.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: Something insidious, something pernicious, and it goes by the name of boy mom.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: Boy mom.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: Boy mom.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: Oh, boy mom, two words.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: Oh, you know, boy mom.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: Hashtag boy mom and boy mom culture.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: What did you say?
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: Boy mom?
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: No, you know, boy mom.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: I, you know, in fact, Jeff, speaking of bar, you know, you we have these fans in bars.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: I was in a bar the other night.
- 8:09SPEAKER_02: I think I saw a boy mom.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I I think what's defines a boy mom is just this obsession and with the fact of oh, my child tracked in a bunch of shit and then threw their shoes all over the apartment, and now they are splashing water out of the tub and my apartment's pure chaos.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: Hashtag boy mom.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: I mean, and this kind of messaging suggests that the smell and the mess and chaos of raising children, that these experiences are unique to just boys and that they are a source of pride.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: When God, I feel smarter already.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: And I never realized being intellectual, it can be so dirty.
- 8:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, oh yeah.
- 8:58SPEAKER_02: Well, Jeff, why is that why do you think I went to school?
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: I mean, come on.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: Okay, I digress, but I'm loving that.
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: It's almost it's almost like not just limited to boys, but it's almost like it's attractive.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: I think it's a way it's an it's like it's like a a marker with which some women are identifying with, but you're in turn diminishing the value of raising a girl.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: There's no hashtag girl mom.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: No, or at least if that's existing, it doesn't have nearly the same visibility in social media as boy mom.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: It's getting to the point that when I go to Target, I see the SUVs on the back with the little decals, it says things like boy mom or hashtag boy mom.
- 9:43SPEAKER_02: And it's like Well, if it's gotten as far as Target, then it's it's a big issue, Jeff.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: It really is.
- 9:49SPEAKER_02: And you know, you know, Chloe, just not to not to go all intellectual, because that might, you know, Jeff might get upset.
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: Oh, please do.
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: But but not to go all intellectual.
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: Would this be along the lines of what we might call edible?
- 10:01SPEAKER_02: Because I I gotta tell you that edible, I I get all my audio books there.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: It's that's a great place, but but it would this be like edible?
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: You mean audible?
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah.
- 10:11SPEAKER_02: Oh no, isn't Audible?
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: That's that that's that stuff that's got the THC in it that you chew, you know?
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: That's an edible.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: Okay, well, who's that Greek guy with his mom?
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: Wasn't that oh, are you thinking of Oedipus Rex?
- 10:25SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, yeah, that was it.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah, yeah.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: That was more of a boy falling in love with his mom.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: Uh I don't think she knew about it, right?
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: I thought I have it's been a while since I've flipped through Oedipus Rex.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, basically he was told at the outset, like you will have the things you want, but it's gonna go not the way you expect it.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: And yeah, I you know, I can't remember because I I really never, you know, like read it.
- 10:50SPEAKER_02: I just uh read the back and it it sounded sounded kind of interesting, but you know, I but yeah, my my head is spinning right now.
- 10:57SPEAKER_01: You know, you guys are just so above me.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: You know, one minute you're talking about boy bands and the next minute dinosaurs.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: And I don't I you know to me, I I don't know where you're going with this, but I'm liking it, you know, and it's it's uh see that's exciting intellectualism, it just flows.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: You can just go anywhere with it.
- 11:17SPEAKER_02: You just the brain, you just you just you just go, you know.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: Well, my pamphlet is not for intellectuals.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: I I want I'm going to be distributing this pamphlet at Targets, at Yankee Candle Companies, at cupcake bakeries.
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: Oh, so you're really not going for the intellectuals, I would say.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: I feel like I'm really going for, I know that this is now an outdated term because we shouldn't be criticizing people for what they like or dislike, but I really am trying to corner the basic bitch market with my message.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Basic bitch.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Can I can I can help you find some of those people, some of those customers for you?
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: Oh, I bet, Steve.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: You don't have to use this, but when you have your pamphlet and you have the name of this, put for dummies at the end.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: I think that pretty much is a signal that it's for everyone and not just the smart one.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: Like like Oedipus for Dummies.
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: Oedipus Rex for dummies.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 12:15SPEAKER_02: He bangs his mom, kills his dad, and you know, then he, you know, then he needs glasses, right?
- 12:21SPEAKER_02: You know, it's just for dummies.
- 12:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:25SPEAKER_02: You know, Chloe, Chloe, we have so much more to talk about with you, but I gotta tell you, tourists, Jeff, we have a brand new sponsor.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: We do so exciting, Jeff.
- 12:34SPEAKER_02: A brand new sponsor.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: It's this new restaurant chain that they're they're they opened here in the metro.
- 12:40SPEAKER_02: And I'll tell you, I have not eaten there yet, but it just sounds wonderful.
- 12:44SPEAKER_02: So I can't wait to hear.
- 12:46SPEAKER_02: I'm hungry.
- 12:46SPEAKER_02: So, so I let's just let's just go to commercial.
- 12:51SPEAKER_02: Hungry for something different for dinner?
- 12:53SPEAKER_02: Drop into the Metro's newest multi-ethnic eating spot, Appropriation Station.
- 12:58SPEAKER_02: We take the best of the melting pot and bring it to you.
- 13:01SPEAKER_02: It's Fusion without the confusion.

- 13:32SPEAKER_02: But don't stop there, buckaroos.

- 13:39SPEAKER_02: You haven't had ethnic food until you've had it prepared by our highly trained Anglo High School dropout staff.
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: So bring the whole tribe for our Pow Wow, they'll remember Appropriation Station.
- 13:50SPEAKER_02: We took it all.
- 13:51SPEAKER_02: Franchise is currently available.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: Well, I tell you, Jeff, I have not wanted to eat ethnic food any more than I do right now after listening to that ad.
- 14:03SPEAKER_02: That is just so exciting.
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: Me too.
- 14:05SPEAKER_02: Barbecue Flan.
- 14:06SPEAKER_02: I mean, who wouldn't want that?
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: Flaming Tie stick.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: Jeff, I know you're a big fan of flaming tigh stick.
- 14:11SPEAKER_02: I remember.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: I it's it's catchy.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: Again, I'm just full of ideas, but I'm thinking they want to go with something like edible something.
- 14:19SPEAKER_01: Rex.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: Wouldn't that be Jeff?
- 14:22SPEAKER_02: Jeff.
- 14:23SPEAKER_02: I just said the first part.
- 14:24SPEAKER_02: We're always trying to make money.
- 14:25SPEAKER_02: Jeff, why didn't we think of this before?
- 14:27SPEAKER_02: An edible THC company called Edible Rex.
- 14:29SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: Made with breast milk.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, made with breast milk.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: Oh Chloe, we'll cut you in.
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: That sounds great.
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: I like that idea.
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: You're in.
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: Perfect.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: And you see, and that's the whole point here.
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: The point is, I get started, I come up with a word, and then everybody sort of takes off from there.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: You know, it's kind of like John Lennon contributing to like a Paul McCartney song.
- 14:51SPEAKER_01: One word, you know, it couldn't get much worse.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: You know, or I guess that's more than one word, but yeah, but still, it makes the song, you know, I I'm not an intellectual and I'm not ethnic, but I feel like I, you know, I'm on a roll here a little bit.
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: This is probably why we've been hanging out for so many years, because years ago, you know, when I was when I was trying to be funny, you know, I'd hang around all these these beat up going nowhere stand-up comics.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: And one day I was talking to one outside an open mic, and when neither of us got on the bill that night, by the way.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: But anyway, Jeff, I was behind this kind of beat up, you know, this this comic.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: And I said, you know, hey, you know what would really be funny?
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: A TV show about nothing.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: Okay, look what happened a few years later.
- 15:31SPEAKER_02: Look at that, huh?
- 15:32SPEAKER_02: You know, The Simpsons.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: And did I get any credit?
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: No, no, of course not.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: Of course not.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: But but we digress, we can complain about ourselves all night.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: Chloe, Chloe, we're here to talk to you.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: So, anyway, tell us more about this whole thing.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: Well, I guess, you know, it's a it's a pamphlet of tips, and I don't want to divulge all the tips because I want people to frequent their local nail salon or dog specialty dog bakery.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: Cupcake places, too.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Cupcake places, appropriation station.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: I should say.
- 16:06SPEAKER_02: I think appropriation station, I think our new sponsor would be a natural for that pamphlet.
- 16:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, if you're not looking for the intellectuals, you're gonna find them there.
- 16:13SPEAKER_02: Let me tell you.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: My first tip is to protect yourself early by just catching Oedipul vibes where they come up in everyday life, beginning with hashtag boy mom.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: Just don't fall prey to boy mom culture.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: That's one of my tips.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: And another meaning tip that I provide in the pamphlet is embrace your autonomy, then respect your son.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 16:43SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 16:44SPEAKER_02: So now, boy mom thing, this Oedipul, would it be like let's say that a son kind of liked his mom and and she drove a particular car, and that car reminded him of her, and he really was kind of attracted to the car.
- 16:59SPEAKER_02: Love hypotheticals.
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, go on.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: Just in theory, let's say I'm not that this this isn't about anybody I know.
- 17:07SPEAKER_02: Oh no, whatever we talk about No, this is this is a tomato sauce.
- 17:11SPEAKER_02: No, it's it's slow fat.
- 17:13SPEAKER_01: So yeah, yeah.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: And and when you say boy mom, I just just for clarification, if it's a mom that's a boy, doesn't that make it a dad?
- 17:22SPEAKER_02: Well, Jeff, I don't think we can really change that, you know.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: Well, I know we're not supposed to be talking about sexes and stuff.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: You can't, I mean, I think technically or generally moms are the parent that have had the more feminine characteristics, and dads are the ones with the more traditionally masculine characteristics, but we're learning every day that these characteristics exist on a spectrum and aren't a zero-sum game.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: You can be either or and I'll just leave it at that.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: But I think what I am worried about, or what concerns me when I'm in exploring the depths of social media and uh trawling the depths of boy mom culture is just women mourning the quote unquote loss of their sons when they go on to have girlfriends or get married, God forbid.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: I feel like the tip that the pamphlet tries to impress upon readers is that your son stopped being a part of your body and your being the minute the umbilical cord was cut.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: And mom's your job is to keep your boy safe and help him become a good, self-sufficient person that washes his duvet.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: And that's his what?
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: His duvet.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: Oh, oh we've talked during it before.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: You know, you can get away with that shit, right?
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: When you when you like say it in French.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, the nice thing about in the studio, we can just kind of show our duvets and really nobody cares, right?
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: Because, you know, that engineer, I don't like I flash my duvet to that engineer.
- 19:05SPEAKER_02: In fact, that's how little I like him.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: But he but I digress, but well, anyway, you know, this role that a mom has is frustrated when moms don't let their sons do things.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: Grow up to be cowboys.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: Well, well, at least a cowboy probably washes duvet and hang it up on the line, or however cowboys wash duvets.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: I think they'd watch it like once a season.
- 19:28SPEAKER_02: Like once the cattle drive is done, they'd wash the duvet and then they'd do another cattle drive.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: Muddy duvet.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, muddy duvet.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love his music.
- 19:38SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, muddy duvet.
- 19:40SPEAKER_02: King of the blues.
- 19:40SPEAKER_02: What he was great, but but I digress.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: Cowboy and and ethnic, Steve.
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: Ethnic.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, very just want to point out.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, oh, oh yeah.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: At least the cowboy is doing it on his own, albeit poorly, he's doing it on his own and not expecting, you know, his calamity Jane mom to come on down from the mountain to wash his dub for him and bring him paper towels from the Costco General store or what have you.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: And also, mom isn't coming in and sabotaging his love life with you know threats and intimidation and judgment geared at the romantic partner.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm seeing now when I go into Hobby Lobby, these like different decor of like tips for dating my son.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: Understand that I'm his girl first and I was here before you.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: And if you hurt him, you're gonna have to deal with me.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: And a lot of it is like teetering on, you know, I I checked the terroristic threat statutes for our state, and a lot of those Hobby Lobby signs really flirt with the line there.
- 20:54SPEAKER_02: You know, it what you were saying there about, you know, I'm his girl and I was here first.
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I think you talked to my mom, didn't you?
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: You know, I have to keep my sources confidential.
- 21:04SPEAKER_02: I noticed when you came into the studio, I got this like cigarette thing on you.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: I think I think you've been hanging with my mom.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: Steve, you're on to something.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: I smoke.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: I smoke Marlborough Lights.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: So and back to the thing.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: So does my mom.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: And Steve, the umbilical cord.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying that I I stared at it, but I think your mom still kind of has it, you know.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: She does.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: Steve, you keep pressing me about was your mother among my the folks I case-studied.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: You know, I can't reveal the names, the ethnicities, the species of who I've worked with or what I work with.
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: Are you saying my mom's like a different species?
- 21:49SPEAKER_02: So she's calling your mom names, if you ask me.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Of the internet and boy mom culture.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: But I also worked with different non-human populations and found that boy mom culture uh has reached toxic, uh if not life-threatening levels among certain animal populations.
- 22:22SPEAKER_02: Oh, we're talking like extinction level.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Potentially, yeah.
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: I'd imagine, you know, if you're trying to procreate with your mom, that kind of cuts down on regular procreation, you know?
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: Well, it's not so much that the son is trying to procreate with the mom.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, well, for instance, I worked with a population of whales, of killer whales uh in the Pacific.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: I don't want to specify where because I don't want them to be a source of ridicule and embarrassment, but they're, you know, we don't want to mom, boy mom shame them, right?
- 22:58unknown: Yeah.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: Well, I think we need to they serve as an example, they exist as a legacy of who we don't want to be, uh whale or human.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: Because basically, the the the boy whales, they get big, they're twice as big as their moms, and they have to eat a lot of salmon, but you have to be kind of deft to eat salmon.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: So what's happening is that the moms are basically washing their whale sons duvets in the sense that they're doing a lot of the hunting for their boy offspring, and just and these moms, they could be having other calves.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: The bull, the boy whale should be like peeling off of the pod and striking it out on his own, but instead they are tagging along with mommy for decades, I think, in some cases.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's not that the boy is trying to sleep with his mom, or it's more that mom could be doing so much more with her life.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: She could be having other little killer whale calves, she could be getting her master's degree, she could be getting her real estate license.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's just so much untapped potential that's going to waste.
- 24:09SPEAKER_02: There's really a lot of valuable real estate under the ocean that those orcas could really get on, you know.
- 24:15SPEAKER_02: Oh, we we know a realtor, don't we, Steve?
- 24:17SPEAKER_02: Oh, we do indeed.
- 24:19SPEAKER_02: I could sell anything.
- 24:20SPEAKER_02: Oh, she she sure could.
- 24:22SPEAKER_02: She gets her hands on it.
- 24:23SPEAKER_02: If they have meth underwater, she's in, you know.
- 24:25SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 24:26SPEAKER_02: We're good.
- 24:27SPEAKER_02: We're good.
- 24:27SPEAKER_02: But uh, so I it really sounds like you know, when you talk about the mom providing for the sons for decades, I I think my mom could have just said something to me.
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: She didn't it's Mr.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: Muffins.
- 24:43SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh, interspecies.
- 24:45SPEAKER_02: Look it.
- 24:46SPEAKER_02: Oh, I didn't see she brought a dog in, Jeff.
- 24:50SPEAKER_02: I didn't see and then she's got a dog in the studio.
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: I don't know if eccentric Ladyland Studios likes you having dogs in here.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: Mr.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: Muffins and Slankit are my my baby, my baby.
- 25:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, did you say the slinket?
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: Slank it, yes.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: You know, like was my nickname in high school.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: Splinket.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: Slinket, yeah.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: You know, like Michael Jackson named his kid Blinket.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: I mean, my little boy kitty is Slinket, and my boy dog is Mr.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Muffins, and the lady cat over here, she's just the worst.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: We don't need to talk about her.
- 25:23SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 25:24SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 25:25SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 25:25SPEAKER_02: So you really when you're when you're talking interspecies, you really know your interspecies.
- 25:31SPEAKER_02: I mean, you've been working quite a bit with all kinds of different species, right?
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: You could say so.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, another population I worked with in uh a desert in the North America that again, I don't want to need.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: I've already, there's only so many deserts in North America.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: Um I feel like I don't want to bring with pillows.
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: There's ice cream, there's cherry pie, there's no not dessert.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: Desert.
- 25:55SPEAKER_01: Oh, I always get those two confused.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: Like a step.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: Well, and Chloe, when you when you don't name stuff, is that because you don't have the rights to it or because like is there an ethical issue?
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: Like, would the other deserts be offended if they found out that you spilled the beans on no, it's like if I provided the address, like if I provided your address on the air, and my case study revealed a lot of potential things that though illuminating for the arts and sciences and for hum the humanities to know, it's put it's potentially embarrassing for it to be traced back to you.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: So that's I'm just trying to protect these whales and I I'm trying to talk about the ponies, the the Mustangs.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: I Mustang population researched.
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: Ah, Mustang.
- 26:46SPEAKER_02: Mustangs are cool.
- 26:47SPEAKER_02: I always kind of like the Impala a little bit better, you know, because my mom had one, but uh Mustang's great.
- 26:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 26:53SPEAKER_02: Well, I think the Impala had a little more leg room, if you know what I mean.
- 26:56SPEAKER_02: Leg room, and and boy, the sides on it, they kind of went out a little bit.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: It just turning yourselves on with your car fetish again.
- 27:05SPEAKER_02: Oh, please.
- 27:06SPEAKER_02: Oh no, no, no, I don't have a car fetish.
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: No.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: But you're two days away.
- 27:12SPEAKER_02: It's not a fetish.
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: What would you call it, Steve?
- 27:16SPEAKER_02: Uh I I call it more of a admiration.
- 27:20SPEAKER_02: More more more of an more an more of an attraction, more of a a preference, if you will, you know.
- 27:26SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 27:26SPEAKER_02: Well said.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: Well, I was with a Mustang population.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: And that's showing.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, once again, I was noticing verticals.
- 27:39SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: They were uh providing so much more protection to have protection.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: I do, yeah.
- 27:54SPEAKER_02: Can you imagine the size of that protection?
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: I mean, for Mustangs, oh my gosh, must be you know, but I digress, but well, it just had to do with protecting them from apex predators disease.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: From what?
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: From sorry, what?
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: Apex predators, you know, coyotes.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: Whatnot.
- 28:11SPEAKER_02: Apex, that's that's that company in uh the Looney Tunes with the anvils, you know.
- 28:15SPEAKER_02: Yes, it is, exactly.
- 28:16SPEAKER_02: I was thinking that.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's acne.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, no, that's that thing I had when I was a teenager that they I got that medicine, you know, they they scraped it all.
- 28:25SPEAKER_02: It was it was, you know, it worked out.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, luckily they're synonymous practically.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: So things with fangs that could go after a little baby colt.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: I observed that the mayors were putting way more energy into protecting their boy offspring than their girl offspring.
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: And I bet the city councils don't like it when those mayors do that.
- 28:52SPEAKER_02: I bet they they probably want to vote them out.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about mayors M-A-R-E-S, not mayors.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: Oh speaking of mayors, it really doesn't have anything to do with mayors, but I wrote down the first letter for every one of the words on your pamphlet.
- 29:11SPEAKER_01: And it's I'm surprised here.
- 29:13SPEAKER_01: I'm surprised, and this is for real.
- 29:15SPEAKER_01: Kitora, quitora, pigmino mo.
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: I don't know, it just sounds familiar, doesn't it, Steve?
- 29:22SPEAKER_02: The other night, uh, maybe it was too many Smyrnas, maybe I did one of those audibles, but uh, you know, I I remember I wrote kind of rolled over and mumbled something very similar to that to my mom.
- 29:32SPEAKER_02: And so I Kitora pig pigoimo.
- 29:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, something like that.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: It was like you might accidentally do some incantation that could awaken some spirit we don't want in the studio.
- 29:47SPEAKER_02: It oh, it it Jeff, it could mess up the the machines.
- 29:50SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, we don't want any problem with the audio here.
- 29:53SPEAKER_02: Oh no, no, no, no, Jeff.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: If you're ever like in um a game show where they ask that question, then you'll you'll know the answer.
- 30:01SPEAKER_02: See, but but the problem is I wouldn't recognize the question, you know what I mean?
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: What show would even have that?
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: Some sort of demented wheel of fortune.
- 30:08SPEAKER_02: I would watch that.
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: I would watch that.
- 30:10SPEAKER_02: I would watch what channel's that on.
- 30:13SPEAKER_02: Demented Wheel of Fortune.
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I would love that.
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's like be a great it sounds like it might be an easier game.
- 30:20SPEAKER_01: Well, to win, you know.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: That brings me to the third population I worked with.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: Um it's part of why I could only afford a pamphlet and not work, get funding for an actual book, but I I did go to some jungles that shall remain unnamed and with some a bonobo population.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: Bonobo?
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: Bonobo.
- 30:48SPEAKER_02: Bonobo.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: Yes, they're like a cousin to the chimpanzee.
- 30:51SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, bonobo.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: Jeff, you know bonobo.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: It's that wait, it's that winery we visited.
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: They have some great.
- 30:56SPEAKER_02: I I had some of their uh penny noir, I think it was uh I think it's French for like black black pasta or something.
- 31:03SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 31:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 31:04SPEAKER_01: And I think that's actually a cousin, isn't it but his cousin's name was Kotora.
- 31:10SPEAKER_02: Oh, now you're talking dirty, Jeff.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: That's just as Torah noir.
- 31:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, okay, there we go.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: Now we're talking.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: Well, just as chimpanzee mothers, I I didn't have time to study them, but it's my understanding from you know, flipping through some Jane Goodall and some Diane Fossey that chimpanzees, there's some boy mom culture there with chimpanzee mothers helping some of the lower level chimp males deal with their little street fights and defend them.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: Similarly, in the bonobo population, uh bonobo moms try to play matchmaker.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: And uh when their sons are a little too shy or lacking confidence, bonobo mothers are going so far as to try to facilitate introductions between their bonobo son and a promising fertile female.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: And trying to basically socially social engineer their son's sex life.
- 32:12SPEAKER_02: Damn she's smart.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: I would say go, go, bonobo, man.
- 32:17SPEAKER_02: Oh boy, you know, my mom, my mom kind of did that, I guess, but but it didn't work, you know.
- 32:22SPEAKER_01: But but well, Steve, if anybody did it, it would be your mom.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: I mean she's probably had probably more experience than a lot of people.
- 32:35SPEAKER_02: I don't know, but it knows what you mean.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: I just think about all of the daughters that get thrown by the wayside through boy mom culture, you know, all of the little baby fillies that get thrown to the coyotes of the desert, the female orca children that didn't get that extra helping of salmon.
- 33:00SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: Or that teenage bonobo girl.
- 33:04SPEAKER_02: Well, or or or or or the the orcas that can hear because you said you had to be deaf to catch salmon.
- 33:10SPEAKER_02: And so if they deft what deft D-E-E-L deaf?
- 33:16SPEAKER_02: Oh what did she say?
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: This is always becoming a spelling bee.
- 33:21SPEAKER_02: I I think it yeah, take the first letter of deft.
- 33:25SPEAKER_02: Here, let me write this out.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: Anyway, I Torah.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: I don't know what this is.
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna name my next child that I'm just trying to like bring it full circle of when we elevate sons through boy mom culture, there's a lot of wasted potential of the mothers of what they could be doing if they weren't crippling their son's development.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: And then also there are a lot of females that are being neglected and not being celebrated as much as their male counterparts, and so that's really what I'm trying to bring awareness to and combat with my pamphlet.
- 34:12SPEAKER_02: Well, so Chloe, it sounds like what you're saying is that by doing this, these mothers are bringing down their son, and they're also bringing down themselves at the same time.
- 34:23SPEAKER_02: It's like it's you know, it's really so everybody everybody involved winds up worse.
- 34:29SPEAKER_02: It's it's like one of those film pinot noirs, you know?
- 34:32SPEAKER_02: It really is like everybody loses.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: You mean a film noir?
- 34:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, and Pinot Noir, because you know, you got to drink while you're watching them.
- 34:41SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you have to film it either, do you?
- 34:43SPEAKER_01: No, I you know, I I yeah, I sometimes film it, but you know, well, most of those people though are they're unnamed, yeah, right?
- 34:51SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, so can't do that.
- 34:53SPEAKER_01: Well, so this has been um fascinating, to be honest.
- 34:56SPEAKER_01: Normally I don't understand about a third of everything that happens on the podcast, but tonight it's almost two-thirds.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, I mean, like I say, literally, two out of every three words, I had no idea what it meant.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: So uh to the point that even the words sounds a little high to me, a little low.
- 35:13SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry, yeah.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I am.
- 35:15SPEAKER_01: For example, when you said chimpanzee, I literally for a moment forgot what that was.
- 35:20SPEAKER_01: It's the demons I have to deal with.
- 35:22SPEAKER_02: It's those potatoes that are fried and fat.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: You know, you don't eat them.
- 35:25SPEAKER_02: I think so.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: I think you're right.
- 35:27SPEAKER_02: Bad for you.
- 35:28SPEAKER_02: It's hard, and yeah, just uh too many audibles.
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, too many.
- 35:31SPEAKER_02: Oh well.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: You do some audibles, you'll probably want to eat some chimpanzees, you know.
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: You'll say when you start getting I hear that you start getting the uh the audiobook munchies, you know.
- 35:40SPEAKER_02: You say, Well, I gotta go eat some, you know.
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: They're like our closest living relative, aren't they?
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: They and the bonobos.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: I mean, they're really only just a few chromosomes off from us, right?
- 35:50SPEAKER_02: See, that's why they're so dangerous because they really they know where to hit.
- 35:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 35:54SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 35:54SPEAKER_02: See, like a you know, a tuna.
- 35:56SPEAKER_02: A tuna has no idea where to hit us, but oh, these they probably know what a chromosome is.
- 36:01SPEAKER_02: They know exactly where they're that smart, you know.
- 36:04SPEAKER_02: They've counted them.
- 36:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: Well, they figured out boy mob culture, they figured out patriarchy, they figured out oppressing females.
- 36:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think maybe they're probably candles for an appropriation station franchise.
- 36:19SPEAKER_02: I think I could see that I mean there's a whole I mean, because they probably eat all that stuff.
- 36:23SPEAKER_02: I mean, animals, I mean, if if they're only a chromosome away from us, I bet they would love some of that taco tub.
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: Oh, please, they'd be all over that monkey.
- 36:33SPEAKER_02: I should love that.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: That would be ethnic food.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: Tacos compared by you know, Anglo staff.
- 36:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: Well, of course.
- 36:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 36:41SPEAKER_02: Or the apes.
- 36:43SPEAKER_02: For the apes.
- 36:44SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, because apes need, I mean, is there a good ethnic restaurant that the apes can go to?
- 36:49SPEAKER_02: No, I don't think there is.
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: They need one.
- 36:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 36:52SPEAKER_02: And what better than like a multi-ethnic where you really it's it has so many ethnicities that you really don't get any ethnic.
- 36:59SPEAKER_02: It just it just wipes it all out, you know.
- 37:01SPEAKER_02: It's just it's so many that there's none, you know.
- 37:03SPEAKER_02: You know how that works.
- 37:04SPEAKER_01: You get anephysicized, you do, anapticized.
- 37:09SPEAKER_02: You do, yes.
- 37:10SPEAKER_02: I you know, I I had that eight days after I was born, but don't touch me.
- 37:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, I'm with you.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yes, Kitoro.
- 37:16SPEAKER_01: Did you have something you wish to ask?
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: I'm just trying it out.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: I'm just trying it out.
- 37:22SPEAKER_01: I will not respond to Klitora.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: No, it wasn't Clitora, it was Quitoro.
- 37:27SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, please.
- 37:30SPEAKER_00: I don't like it.
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: It might be my Midwest accent.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: I will not respond to that.
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: I am Chloe Montemayor here to promote my pamphlet.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: I know, just kidding.
- 37:41SPEAKER_01: Plus, I feel like we'll probably uh edit out most of this stuff anyway.
- 37:45SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 37:46SPEAKER_02: Oh, well Jeff, I'll add it all out.
- 37:48SPEAKER_02: You got that new editor stuff.
- 37:50SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 37:50SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, well, I do, yeah.
- 37:52SPEAKER_02: Well, I I think I got him.
- 37:53SPEAKER_02: You know, he he said he was gonna come by and help with the engineering tonight, but I I I haven't seen him, so I don't know.
- 38:00SPEAKER_02: But well, oh yeah, I'll cut all that stuff out.
- 38:02SPEAKER_02: Don't worry, don't worry.
- 38:03SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 38:04SPEAKER_02: Nothing embarrassing will still be in the show.
- 38:06SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, no, no.
- 38:07SPEAKER_02: Don't worry about that.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: But okay, Chloe, Chloe, listen, it's been wonderful having you on the show again.
- 38:13SPEAKER_02: Always good to see you.
- 38:14SPEAKER_02: And your pamphlet is You're His Mom, Not His Girl, uh Psychosexual Adventures with Klitora or something.
- 38:23SPEAKER_02: I it was something like that.
- 38:24SPEAKER_01: It was it was something like that read it, you know.
- 38:27SPEAKER_02: I saw it, and very nice colors on the pamphlet.
- 38:29SPEAKER_02: I I like the orange and the blue.
- 38:31SPEAKER_02: That was nice, you know.
- 38:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and Chloe, this was such a pleasure.
- 38:35SPEAKER_01: And every time you're on, you have so much value to give.
- 38:39SPEAKER_01: It seems as though these shows are a lot longer than you know, 30 minutes.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: Sometimes they feel like sometimes they feel like multiple shows.
- 38:47SPEAKER_01: Sometimes some of them are smaller, some of them are bigger.
- 38:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, sometimes they're attached to each other.
- 38:54SPEAKER_02: And sometimes sometimes they feel like kind of their own little gravest hits, you know.
- 38:58SPEAKER_02: It's just like a it's like a collection, it's like an album, if you will.
- 39:01SPEAKER_01: Like show of shows.
- 39:03SPEAKER_01: It's like your show of shows.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: Something like your show of shows.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: Yes, it was a pleasure as always, gentlemen.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: Where was I?
- 39:09SPEAKER_01: Yes, it was wonderful.
- 39:11SPEAKER_02: Chloe, thank you very much.
- 39:12SPEAKER_02: They are gonna boot us out of eccentric lady land studios here in a minute.
- 39:16SPEAKER_02: And they when this time when they kick, they're gonna mean it.
- 39:19SPEAKER_02: Let me tell you.
- 39:20SPEAKER_02: But uh listen, we'd love to have you back and we'll talk a little more about some interspecies because uh, you know, and I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go visit my mom, you know.
- 39:29SPEAKER_02: You got me thinking here, so I I I better see how she's doing.
- 39:32SPEAKER_02: You know, I'll go with you, Steve, if you need to.
- 39:35SPEAKER_02: Well, you know, I think my mom and I we're we're probably okay.
- 39:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you can thank your mother for helping you become a self-sufficient adult individual that's a good person in the world, right?
- 39:47SPEAKER_02: That's exactly what I was thinking.
- 39:49SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 39:49SPEAKER_02: That's exactly I wasn't thinking anything else.
- 39:52SPEAKER_02: That's exactly it.
- 39:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, see, she knows.
- 39:54SPEAKER_02: She knows, Jeff, right?
- 39:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there you go.
- 39:56SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, you're the best.
- 39:57SPEAKER_01: So thank you again for coming.
- 39:59SPEAKER_01: And um, I think we're probably uh we'll get kicked off at point.
- 40:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're gonna get kicked off.
- 40:04SPEAKER_02: So so blisten, hey, and Jeff, uh see you soon, Chloe.
- 40:07SPEAKER_02: Hopefully, and uh Jeff, I'll see you again on another show.
- 40:11SPEAKER_02: See you later.
- 40:12SPEAKER_01: Thanks.
