  Speaker 1: As we head into another day, just remember the most

  Speaker 1: important thing in your life is your relationship with God.

  Speaker 1: Don't ever think that it's just a little sideline thing

  Speaker 1: that you can take or leave. It is the big
• 0:21
  Speaker 1: thing of your life. God is the centre of this universe.

  Speaker 1: He is the originator of everything that is. He is
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: the one who is actively sustaining your life, who's given
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: you another day to live today, and He's the one
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: who at the end every person will be accountable to
• 0:40
  Speaker 1: for their lives.

  Speaker 1: Have you learned to walk with God in your life?
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about what would make your life
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: really meaningful and give it significance? Do you know that
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: significance will never come apart from a living relationship with God?
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: If you've never started on a living relationship with God,
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: you may have been religious or you may never have
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: been religious, but that's not what I mean. I'm talking
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: about knowing God personally.
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: And you know there's a big problem between us and
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: God that keeps us from knowing Him personally. We can
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: know about Him, we can read the Bible, but that's
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: not knowing Him personally.
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: We have two main problems between us and God. One
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: is that God is the judge of this universe, and
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: we have broken His moral laws so many times, things
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: we knew in our heart we shouldn't do, and we've
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: done them anyway, almost every day.
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: And this weight of moral guilt stands between us and
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: the righteous Judge of the universe.
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: And secondly, we've got a personal problem that we've offended
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: God so many times when He's reached out to us
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: in our lives and we've just pushed Him away and said,
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: not interested, not important to me right now, not relevant
• 1:58
  Speaker 1: to my life.

  Speaker 1: That offends God personally. And so we've got this big
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: barrier between us and God. But do you know that
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ.
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: Who never sinned and never deserved to face God's judgement
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: chose because of His love for you and me to
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: stand in our place and take God's judgement for us.
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: So when he died on the cross, he was paying
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: the penalty for your sin and my sin.
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: And we can simply receive what he is offering to
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: us as a gift, forgiveness from God.
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: Simply by saying thank you for what He's done for
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: us and trusting God to accept what Jesus did as
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: forgiveness for our sins, and you know, when God the
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: Father looks at what Jesus did for us, His anger
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: also just melts away.
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: And so we have this open door to a loving
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: relationship with God. How foolish we would be to ignore.
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: Such an offer from the God of the universe to
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: forgive us of all of our moral failures.
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: And to also take away his anger towards us.
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: If you've never done that, you can do it simply
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: by praying, and praying is simply talking to God. You
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: can do it out loud, or you can just do
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: it like you think to yourself, either way He hears you,
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: and just express to Him, Thank you, God, for what
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: you've done for me. I don't deserve it, but I
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: receive it with real gratitude. I want to start a
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: whole new way of life in personal relationship with you.
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: Do you know, your life changes completely when you do that,
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: and you have the potential now to live a life
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: that
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: Brings to fruition the potential that's in it from God.
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: God has entrusted your life to you, and He expects
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: you to in turn use what is His.
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: In a way that will bring him pleasure and glory.
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: And so you need to think about what you could
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: do with your life even today that would honour God.
• 4:12
