- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: Mostly retro.

- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: I got some jerseys.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: You got a Dwight Clark in there.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: You got a Dwight Clark in there?
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: I do have a Dwight Clark, but I played it on saving that one for Atlanta or Dallas, probably.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I got some Bowman got to make sure we get Bowman with the Seattle right you got to represent the games have to matter to the players and every time I think about Seattle, I think about Bowman in the injury, I'll be wearing my Bowman jersey.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm that's still get mad about them throw a popcorn on the viral moment.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: That was a horrible call.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: That was a horrible entry.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: That was some horrible fans.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: No question.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: And yet, you know, you think of Bowman in that down moment, then you think of green law, the tackle on the goal line and what a great moment.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's just a lot of good and bad there.

- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: We will ever host.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: ever.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: It is in my contract, Larry.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: It is in the fine details.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot override it even if I want to.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: What if I'm very, you know, what if I'm prolific?
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I have just thousands of kids.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: Is can I bring thousands of kids?
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, or is there a limit to the number of kids per family?
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: The rule is usually make sure the kids are monitored by a responsible adult.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: But man, we've had people bring out, you know, four or five from their flag football team and stuff.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, it's always a good time.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: You see the kids just light up when they win something or when they give something.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: We always make sure the kids leave with something tangible so that they can tie that experience back.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: And just trying to create the faithful for the future, you know what I mean?
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: I hear it.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's a good time.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's a good time.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: And traveling on the road with the Niners is a fun thing to do.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to do it myself later on this year.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I would be, I'm a huge advocate for traveling.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: You get to meet some of the Niners fans from around the country and realize how prolific the
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: through the decades.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: So absolutely awesome stuff.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's interesting and I think appropriate that you have Ricky Waters there.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I want to talk about a little bit about Ricky Waters because there's a parallel to this year's Seahawks.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: The miners with Mike Shanahan as the O.C.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: George C for it as the head coach.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: Ray Rhodes as the defense coordinator won the Super Bowl.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: Shane, when was that crew?
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm 30 and I don't remember it.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: that was 1994 okay and they had Ricky Waters in the backfield and Ricky Waters was their young star.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: Rice was older, Taylor was older, Jones was older, but Ricky Waters and Barnan, Barnan was of Ricky and Ricky Waters was a young player and I think in his fourth year I think he was
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: You had a Notre Dame and the 49 he had a great Super Bowl.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: He was one of the real reasons that the 49ers were so dominant He was one of the reasons they won that Super Bowl in massive fashion and The kiss to moth and let him went to Philadelphia at the end of the year
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: and you left in free agency and never achieved the same heights anywhere else that you did with the Niners and the Niners, you know, had some good teams after that.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: They were good in in 95, but with Derrick Leville, you know, they were good in 96, 97, with Pat Gazzick Terry Kirby, you know, but they didn't have Ricky Waters and they never really achieved the level that they had
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: he didn't do it either without them, but they needed each other.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: I bring it up because look at the parallel.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now you get Seattle.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: They win the Super Bowl.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: Kenneth Walker, basically, was a key cog.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: Might have been the MVP of the entire playoff run.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: Was the MVP of the Super Bowl?
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: 26 years of age.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: Totally dynamic player.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: And they had all kinds of caproom and they chose not to pay them and then chose to pay Rashid Shaheed and now Kenneth Walker is a Kansas City Chief and he's on his way to a 2000 yard season and maybe going to lead the chiefs to the into the A of C playoffs and into the Super Bowl and the Seahawks said, we'll replace him with Chidarian price price had fumble issues.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: Now he's on IR.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: They have a manual Wilson.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's not a scheme.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: Fiddy can't get outside.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: They're talking about Joe Nixon.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: Joe Nixon's got domestic violence
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: they say we're going to sign them then they said oh you know what he had an injury at the at the physical really or did bunch of people say why you why you signing guy with this video of domestic violence on women this guy didn't just like slap somebody punch someone person in the face and almost kill their almost killed this woman.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I don't care if he's a Bay Area guy or not to me.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's where I would draw the line.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't have this guy on my team if he was the last running back on earth.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: And so suddenly they were, they about faced and didn't sign Joe mix.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: And when I did do a morals, and nothing to do a morals.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I don't know.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe maybe maybe they just got cold feet.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the wrong people complain.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe somebody ran it up the flagpole and they said, you know what?
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: This is the wrong hill to die on.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, this guy, the juice ain't worth the squeeze, so to speak.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the negatives outweigh the positives.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever it is, but they opted to go in a different direction.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: My old point is just that.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: The Niners you can make an argument should have kept Ricky Waters and may have won the Sixth Lombardi right then in the mid-90s instead they kissed him off and they never really replaced him and I get the feeling that you're seeing the exact same thing right now with Kenneth Walker.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's a great player.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: They had him.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't appreciate him.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: They let him walk in free agency, then they gave a special teamer.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: more money.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: He wanted 15 a year instead of they gave 17 a year to where she'd she he'd where she'd she he'd is not a significant player in their passing game.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: He's still mostly a special team's return man.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: Think about that.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't pay a bell cow back 15 million so you could play a return man 17 million.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: The Niners needed a break, John Schneider gave them that break.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: And now this is anybody's ball game going forward.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: If they had kept Kenneth Walker, they're still the best team in football.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: And the Niners probably can't run with them this year.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: But they got rid of Kenneth Walker.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: They don't have much of a run game.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Niners are going to make them very one-sided and start teeing off on Sam Darl'd.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a, I think one of the best personnel guys there is, John Schneider, Eftup, and it's going to burn him.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to burn him.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's going to take the, I think they're going down on that one right there.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you look at their backfield and the idea was, okay, we're going to spin our first round pick on Jeterian price, who I thought was a wonderful prospect.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: He was a defender like him.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: He got injured.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: And so he gets injured.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, all right, you know, Zack started sharpening, started practicing this week.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he'd be elevated and, you know, activated.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: There's a chance that's going to be the case, but they're looking outside trying to bring in anybody they can.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: The cover is bare out there at the running back position.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: And so you can't just pick up the phone and get somebody out there.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: They try to, you know, find something and Joe mix in.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: He fails his physical as the report says they move on.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: The running game has been an issue for the Seattle C. Hawks.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: Now the offense is crushing it.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: But whenever you look at just, you know, what they've been able to accomplish, just in the running game, they're 19th and yards per Russian tent.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: They're averaging 3.9 under four yards.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, that entire offense, it goes through Jackson Smith and Jacob, and it goes through the Titans.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: That is the entirety of the Seahawks offense currently, and it didn't matter if it was Sam Donald, Drew Locke, whomever, if they can get that runny back position, Zach Sharp and I don't know how useful he'll be in his very first game back, but
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: But that's what they're looking for.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: And Kenneth Walker is nowhere near to be found on this roster.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: And so even if Zack Sharpenay returns to his previous form, which very capable, you know, starter in the NFL, throw any back position.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's not top 10 or anything.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: But he's capable because he can do a little bit of everything.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure he's going to be back at full speed this week.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: So if the $40 could take advantage of that, I know all the people want to talk about how 40 nighters run defense, it's an issue and whatever else.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not so sure.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: They're they're top 10 and rush yards allowed.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: They're top 10 and rush yards per attempt.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of getting the job done with this no name defensive line.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're giving up three seven to carry.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's, that's not a bad number.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: All right, we're going to talk more about the matchup and we'll do our prize picks line up in a bit.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: But I called the stream, you know, we titled the stream tonight, are we wrong about Brock Perti and Couchini and I was watching something the other day and they were talking about the top quarterbacks and Brock Perti's name came up and
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: Instead of being like, yeah, he's a top quarterback.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, the guy who, I forget who it was, but the guy was like, you know, he runs Kyle system the best.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: He, like, well, wait a second, is he the best?
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: He runs Kyle system the best.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a consistent theme.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: And once again, it's like, it's not that big a deal.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: Brock doesn't care.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody really cares.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's just at the end of the day, I don't really think that Shanahan is the key to Brock Perti.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: I really don't.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I think Brock Perti is being supported better this year than in past years.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Evans is a better receiver than Joanne Jennings.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: They're offensive lines, playing better than it did in the past.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: The split of, you know, who knew that maybe not giving CMC 92% of the carries was actually going to be a pretty good thing.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: And George Kittles had this miraculous recovery from the Achilles, where he's running 20 miles an hour.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's just an unbelievable return from an injury.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: So there's lots of factors.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: To me, and I've high through that to you, and we debated this so much in the 80s.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: This was a big 80s debate.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: In a call-up, eight or eight came beer.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: Did what is Walsh make Montana, or did Montana make Walsh?
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: And when the Niners won the Super Bowl in 81, there were a lot of people being like, you know what, it's the system.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's Walsh's system.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: And Joe Montana just operates.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: This third round quarterback, Joe Montana operates Walsh's system.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: But of course that narrative changed that year when Joe Montana beat Dan Moreno and suddenly it wasn't about wash system.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: It was about the Niners have one of the great quarterbacks of his era.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then of course he wins again in 88 he wins again in 89 and kind of cemented his legacy.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, we always think of players like to see about what it is at the end, but we never think about it gradually through it throughout.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: Walsh was getting a lot of the credit that probably should have gone to Joe after Super Bowl 16.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I bring that up because I kind of think that Shanahan gets credit for Perti, more than Perti gets credit for Perti or Perti gets credit for lifting Shanahan.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll throw it to you, John.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I...
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there is no right or wrong answer.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: You can make an argument either way, right?
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like I have the answer.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: I have an opinion.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: I have a point of view.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: But if I ask you that question, if you can't, you can't hang out on the fence, you can't be like, you know what?
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a little above.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: you know, I won't do it.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: I won't do it.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: You have to put, you have to pick that, you know, well, and we're not going to agree to disagree, you know, but you have to pick and it has to be either Kyle Shanahan has made Brock Perty or Brock Perty has made Kyle Shanahan.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you?
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's extreme the way you put it and I love it.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it doesn't have to be completely
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: Brock didn't completely make Kyle, Kyle's been great.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: Kyle didn't completely make Brock, Brock led, you know, I was state to the festival and they were terrible without them and they were great when he was there.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: So this is just more, just, I guess the maybe the better question, better phrasing is, is Brock pretty, is Brock pretty making Kyle Shanahan more or is Kyle Shanahan making Brock
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: Man, I think this is my answer by shock some people.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going brought perdi is making this thing go.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: And like I wanna jump back out of the 49er sphere for a second.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: You remember when Tom Brady was coming on and he won his first Super Bowl in his couple of years and everybody's like Bella check is Bella check system.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: He's a system quarterback.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Bill Bella check, Bill Bella check.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: Now we look at it, you know, hindsight's 2020.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: And as soon as Tom left, Bill could do anything and Tom won another Super Bowl elsewhere.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: And we're starting to get that kind of tip point where Brock party's highlights are Brock party just drawn stuff up in the sand scrambling out of the pocket with the step backs juke and people out doing all this other stuff and you know, I pulled up.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: record, Kyle Shanahan's record without Brock party in the regular season, 52 for 52 without Brock, since he's been with the 49ers, 500 with Brock, 35, are 34 and 15, unbelievable difference.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: How about this, too, to add to that, when Brock came on and we 13 against Miami for Jimmy Garoppolo, all non-Jimmy Garoppolo quarterbacks under Shanahan.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: So he had one with Jimmy G, but he was so funny.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: And one with anybody else.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: And like Kyle Shenahan's a badass.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Shenahan is a top three offensive play caller, even if you hate Shenahan.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like he was fine without Brock Perti.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: But Perti just takes it up to that next level.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: It goes to 11 Larry.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you've seen Spinal Tap, right?
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: But this one goes to 11.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's Brock Perti.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: Right, and so what he's been able to do in points, right, Kyle Shanahan's entire tenure without Brock Perti average 20.4 points per game with Brock Perti over 28 points.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's making the difference of eight points a game that he starts.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: And he just creates, whether it's mobility, everybody wants to, you know, talk about the offensive line and the lack of sex and all that stuff.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: And that's awesome.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's a Brock party stat as much as it is.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: Those five offensive linemen, the linemen are great.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: Not trying to take away from them.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not trying to take away from Kyle Shanahan either.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: Brock party is the staple.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: Brock party should be the MVP front runner after, you know, one month of the season's way too early.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: But he's just playing at an unbelievable level
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: And he's protecting the ball 11 to one passing touchdowns to interceptions is 11 to one good Larry.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know like that is some elite well, but if it throw in just touchdowns period, you know 12 touchdowns one interception.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's really been the difference.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's how he's taking it to the next level.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: The show is not turning it over.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's a million different stats that you can use to define the quarterback or try to evaluate the quarterback and some are fair, some aren't, you know, when losses is one way, but it's a team game.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Jalen Hurts beat Patrick Mahomes and a Super Bowl a couple years ago, you know, as Jalen Hurts better than Patrick Mahomes, of course not.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: But the eagles were better than the chiefs.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's a team sport.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: So you can't forget that.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: But there's always something that there is always some number that kind of reveals the quarterback.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_00]: And to me, it's the quarterback down, which is third down.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: What do you do on third down?
- 19:45[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to you're going to run and pass on first and second down you're going to run on first and you're going to pass on second down you're going to pass on first and you're going to run on second down whatever you're going to do one of those two things and then you're going to get to third down and then it's about do you convert or do you not and.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: To me, the staff that I would point to that Brock Perti has made Kaushan in is is third down conversion rate and I and I looked it up.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: Since Brock Perti has come to the Niners, the Niners are way better on third down conversion rate than they were under shenan before Brock Perti arrived.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: Here are the numbers.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: 2017 Niners third down conversion rate 38.9%.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: 2018 37.8%.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: 2019 was their Super Bowl year was much better that you're 45% okay with Jimmy G 2020 drop back down to 39.1% 2021 40.2% so five seasons there from set 2017 through 2021 the average third down conversion rate for the 49ers in that period of time was 40.2% on average okay then they
- 21:01[SPEAKER_00]: We'll take out 22 because it was really only six games and Garoppolo played some tree lands played some.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll take out 22 because I haven't broken it down as far as what they each did that year.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: But let's just take 23 24 25 and right now.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: rock pretty twenty twenty three forty seven point five percent conversion rate third down conversion rate twenty twenty four forty two point six percent to last year forty nine point eight percent that's awesome this year fifty seven point five percent
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: The Niners in four seasons under Brock Perti with Kyle Shanahan are averaging 49.4% nearly 50% almost a 10% increase on third down conversion rate than what Shanahan did prior.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_00]: And if you look at this year, 57.5% and compare it to 2018 where they were converting at 37.8% and we're talking about 20 percentage points difference there, same head coach, different quarterback.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not saying Shannon is a bummer and don't get me wrong.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying, oh, Shannon's lost without, you know, no, Shannon is a great coach.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_00]: He's one of the best coaches going.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: But if it came down to, I always have pushed back on the notion that Shanahan made Perti.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_00]: Now he did not, he did not.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_00]: Perti was good from the very beginning.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: Perti was good without the tutelage of Shanahan and without the tutelage of the nine or offensive coaching staff.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: He was good right away.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the quarterback down.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: They call it the quarterback down for a reason.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so I would say as much as I think Shanahan's great, I think Purdy is elevating Shanahan to even greater heights than Shanahan got before him.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think that Brock's been that good.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, I love the phrase that Kyle Shadowhand used when the extension got done where he said, I want Brock to be my quarterback for as long as I coach here.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like, as long as I'm here, I want Brock to be the guy.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: And if we play the game where you pick up Brock and you put them in another system, where would he not be successful?
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I mean, he could do all the deck pre-snap stuff, but in the shenanigans scheme, they're not asked to do that, right?
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: He could do all the audibles and lie protect.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: He could do that.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's not asked to do that here.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: He could throw the ball down field.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: Where could he not be successful?
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure we want to say he's the best quarterback in the NFL at this point, but damn, he's the most valuable player through a month.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: Can he replicate that for three more months?
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: If he can, the biggest test of the entire season is this week.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: You go into Seattle Larry, and you put up her performance.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: Now remember, Brock is four and one at Seattle.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: Play there a lot.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's had success there, the last game didn't go well, but Brock can go there and he can show what's up.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: His Ricky here, he won there twice.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: He does that.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think that you're just going to start to see the avalanche of Brock Perti.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: respect and whatever, like you're going to start to see it in the national media.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really care much about what they say because they don't watch all the games.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: They don't watch the tape, but the time has come where it's this tipping point for Brock Perti to where everybody's getting on board because if you're not, you just look like an idiot each and every week, whether it's the Broncos defense, the Ram's defense, bouts to be the Seattle Seahawks defense, he can go out there with that wide receiver
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: do the damn thing?
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: How do you not respect that?
- 24:55[SPEAKER_00]: Right now Brock pretty is playing the best ball.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: Is he the MVP?
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he is right now.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_00]: But Willie when it will see Greg Cocellen and interview on the radio today was talking about Brock and he said, you know, as far as
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: nuanced, he's so schooled in the details of the quarterback position, the nuances of the quarterback position, the subtleties of the, of playing the quarterback position, and he just playing at a very, very high level, and he's been very, very consistent.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: That's the other thing.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's not like, hey, this week he's good.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's good, Brock.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's bad Brock.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's good Brock.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's back.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: the guy shows up and he's very, very consistent.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: And what do you do?
- 25:42[SPEAKER_00]: How do you defend him?
- 25:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you sit back and, you know, right now, Tim Ryan said it, he's gripping it, you know, he's reading it and ripping it.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what he's doing.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: He's reading the coverage and he knows where to go with the football and he's letting it rip, you know?
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: So he's reading the coverage and ripping it.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_00]: Um, what do you do?
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: And the answer back, well, you know, like any quarterback, you've got a pressure and you've got a blitz a minute here's his numbers this year against the blitz 24 33 73 percent seven touchdown seven touchdowns no picks.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy, Larry, like you say the numbers, and I know the numbers, but like whatever they register coming in through the headphones, it's just like, do that's bananas.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: They don't do that.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: And that's with the Marcus Robinson as your wide receiver once, some weeks, which even he's injured.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: There's no Wikipedia or saw.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: There's no dribbling.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: You've got a hobbled, you know, Mike Evans, like this dude is doing things without the
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: It makes no sense.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's comical.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: These are mad and tight numbers, video game numbers.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's just playing out there on Ricky mode.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: Man, just wait till some of those guys get healthy on the wide receiver position and that's that's going to make a big difference, but God, Lee, man, this it reminds me of that, you know, Steve Young sees I think it was 96 where he just was like the most efficient quarterback like it just weekend week out.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_01]: It was just like you know, Steve Young is going to have a game.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know he is.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's only been a month, but man, and I see people the chat talk about how the MVP who cares who cares who cares.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: Man, if you have the most valuable player, the most important position, your team's going to have an opportunity in the playoffs to cause them damage.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: And so that gets you there, because usually it's the best quarter back on the best team, and that is Brock, that is Brock right now.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: No doubt.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I like the Niners on Sunday for a number of reasons, but there is an overriding question.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_00]: Why do I like the Niners?
- 27:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think Mike Evans has the boundary X going up against Josh Job.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_00]: Evans is getting healthier.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: Last time Evans went to Seattle, I think he got like 12 balls, two touchdowns, well over 150 yards.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think Evans is gonna be Job.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_00]: I like that matchup.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: I like Debo.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: Debo's got nine touchdowns against Seattle.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: He plays big against Seattle and between CMC and Debo, you know, that duo's giving Shanahan and Kubiak unbelievable, you know, formational versatility and, you know, their versatile chess pieces that can be moved all over the board.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: I talked to Braden Willis today.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: I feel really good about Braden Willis stepping in for juice.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think he can really do a nice job as a lead blocker.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure how shenan's going to handle it.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: Will they go more three wides, more 11 personnel, or will they still just do what they do and just have Willis jump in for juice?
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: And that's an important player in the whole grand scheme of things.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_00]: And Willis understands that.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: There's going to be lots of shifts, lots of motions, lots of moving parts, and no pre-snap penalties are going to be allowed.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: I like the Niners because they're playing better ball.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: I watched Seattle Chargers, there was a ton of penalties.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_00]: The Niners are the least penalized team in pro football right now.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: They're playing at a much higher level, but the question that I can't get beyond.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: is is the 40 Niners Offensive Line improved enough is the is the improvement legitimate or is it a talking point that's a little bogus?
- 29:23[SPEAKER_00]: They got dominated in Seattle.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: The duo of of of of of of of of Biron Murphy and Leonard Williams physically manhandled the Niners Interior in the playoffs.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: I saw it.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: and I know they're improved, but are they strong enough inside to handle Seattle?
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: Now, you may not have Leonard Williams, but they still got Riley Mills.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_00]: Jaron reads very strong.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: Byron Murphy's got this deal where he splits double teams by going to a single knee and just rooting himself into the ground.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's like unbelievable.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: You cannot move him when he goes to a, you know, goes to a one knee position.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: I've never seen anybody do that before, but he just absolutely is like a,
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: So what do you think, John, is the neither offensive line legitimately improved and they're going to be able to stand up to the Seattle defensive front in some ways.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: This is the final frontier, you know, I think they've proven it against the Rams.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: They've proven it, you know, you know, for a month now, they haven't allowed a single sack are they going to prove it on Sunday against Seattle.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think the two biggest areas of dramatic improvement for the 49ers and the last time they played, you know, Seattle, one George Kittles healthy played 60 snaps this past week.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_01]: Look great.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_01]: Two stick with the tight in position because I do expect a lot of 12 personnel, one back two tight ends and keeping, you know, the Seattle's going to stay a nickel.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: And so you go big and see him on worry.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the plan.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: But Luke Feral, good gosh.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: If you showed me tape from Luke Feral last year and the fans were just so pissed off because he just did not pay dividends.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_01]: He's been incredible this year.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's getting the job done.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I could take a three explosive huge plays this season that Luke Feral was at the focal point of that, any credible and special teams mind you, but he was good and special teams last year.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: So you get Kittle.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: Luke fairs playing awesome and Connor Colby is playing with attitude.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: Connor Colby is the type of guy that you want against this style.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_01]: of defensive line.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying Connor Colby's going to manhandle by Murphy or Leonard Williams or anything.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I'm saying.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying the physicality that he brings is far greater than what they had at that left guard spot.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: So as those three additions, Kittle, Luke Feral playing up to his contract, like Luke Feral might get extended.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's playing so well.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's this is the last year's.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: He played really, really well.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then Connor Colby, man, he's been godsend.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_01]: There's no more questions.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: There's no
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: that has been solved.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_01]: This is the test.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: Connor Colby did pretty good against that Broncos defensive line was pretty good.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_01]: Jake Brindle was the weakest league by far.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of seven negatives going through tape on Jake Brindle.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's a tough one going up against DJ Jones.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's very strange.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's tough for this week.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think anybody would like DJ Jones is awesome, but he ain't litter Williams.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, buyer Murphy.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like DJ Jones awesome, but those guys, Kyle even said like, I don't think there's a better defensive player than litter Williams.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's that good and has been that good.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: He has been and he may not go in this game.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_00]: He left the charger game the second half with a ankle sprain and he hadn't come.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't come back and we're not sure if he's going to go or not.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_00]: But either way, I mean Seattle's defense is number one in the NFL in run success rate at 30%.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I mean, it's they're they play 91% zone.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's funny.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: I heard somebody say today and it's like people just kind of repeat things and it's kind of funny.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: I heard a radio guy and I like this guy.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_00]: But he needs to be get a little bit more current.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, you know, the C-Ox likes to load the box and play man.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what?
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, dude, I mean, you literally are wrong twice.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: They are playing with light boxes, and they play 91% zone.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: They played too high non-stop, especially at three snappers.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_00]: So two shell, they sit there in the two shell.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: They give you that look that just basically, you know, the deep safety 13 yards off the line of scrimmage, and they start back peddling from there.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_00]: And they just basically say you are not beating us over the top.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to let you do it.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have a line to protect long enough to do it.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: And so we're going to play deep safety.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_00]: But Clark done for the year, Ty O'Cotta hurt.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: Julian love was back, but he's not 100%.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: They're just banged up at safety.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: And they're going with back-ups with Kid from Indianapolis.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: They lost Kobe Bryant, huge lost.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: They lost Mothay and Requel and those were lesser losses.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: But they play in zone 91% of the time.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_00]: They play like a match-up zone.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then McDonald's really good at disguising blitzes.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: And they take away the run, they play in assortment of zones, they dare you, they just allow their big front to control the run game and they intimidate teams from trying any kind of downfield things so in the past game, so they don't give up explosives.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_00]: They're number one team in the NFL in cover six.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: you know, which is a split safety look, which you know, the, you know, cover six, you know, the, the open window is the strong flat typically and we'll see if the Niners attack that, but then they got guys like you men worry and love and they just they, they, they smother you in the, in the, in the strong flat and so their cover six is deadly.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_00]: They're really great in a cover six, you know, zone.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm not really sure to me.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_00]: You got two keys.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_00]: Is Leonard Williams gonna play and buy her Murphy?
- 35:20[SPEAKER_00]: Can they get Leonard Williams and buy her and Murphy block?
- 35:22[SPEAKER_00]: Because they couldn't do it in the playoffs.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_00]: They couldn't do it.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they've gotten destroyed.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: by this team, the last two games, 41 to 6 in the last game, 13, 3, 54 to 9 in the last two games against Seattle.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_00]: The Niners need to win this one in the worst way.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_00]: And they're two different teams than they were last year, but can they block Murphy and Williams and that front?
- 35:49[SPEAKER_00]: And that to me is, I don't want to say it's the whole game, but it really starts
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you know, Leonard Williams was limited today with that ankle.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: You brought it like based on their practice report.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: So he's already practicing I fully expect him to play.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be injured, but I want to play and yeah, like what Seattle does so well and shout out to Kurt Cousins.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: He was on some show and that that's where like I started studying this they're the best at giving you a false pre snappery.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: So they sit those two high safeties up there and they just sit for like a count and a half.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: They don't declare their coverage till after a full second and a half after the play.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: So it's looking cover two and what they'll do is they'll go to your cover six where it's quarters on one side, halves on the other and you just you have to adjust your read.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's so with somebody like Brock Perty or Kirk Cousins or the Shanahan system quarterbacks.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here's my coverage.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: I got two high shell.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: Boom.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: Here's my read one, two, three.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm going to do.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: You go through play action.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: You get your head around holy crap.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: They're in a different coverage just in the amount of time we're brought pretty turns is back to the defense fake supply action gets us head around it's not what you thought so you're having to reread like that and that is what the Mike McDonald defense has just struggled for quarterbacks and offensive systems to kind of catch up to that they haven't done it yet and so
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: Got to see Brock.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: Brock's got to do it.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's struggle with this defense.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: There's no doubt about it.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_01]: Can he beat this defense?
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: Can he overcome it?
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: He can.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: And now that he's got a little bit more experience played him three times last year went one and two.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: Can you pick up and start to get some of those tendencies and start to understand some of their tails and all those things?
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: They can happen, but this is a giant test, Larry, for Brock Perti, for the 49ers, winter gets first place.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: If the seahawks win, they're gonna have the same record, same divisional record, but they on the tiebreaker, they'll be in first place to the NFC West.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: If the 49ers win, they will have a stranglehold.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: on the NFC West, because not only will they be 3 and 0 in the division, not only will they be 5 and 0 over all record, now Seattle will have 2 divisional losses and the 49ers will already have won the game at Los Angeles Rams, even though it's in Australia and at Seattle.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: So you still got to play the Rams and Seattle, but that's going to be in Santa Clara.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: You win this game, Stringle Hold on the Division.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad the Niners are off to hot start because the late season schedule looks kind of daunting.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, the Niners have the second toughest strength of schedule the rest of the way.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: Guess who's got the toughest strength of schedule the rest of the way?
- 38:38[SPEAKER_00]: Seattle.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: Let's put ourselves in the corner because we have not been good.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: We'll put ourselves in the corner and we will do our prize picks lineup.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_00]: We'll share the screen there and then of course we got a
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: move our graphics around.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: You got to the right graphics.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: So play five, get one 50 use code HMA and we're going to do some Niners and some Seahawks from this game.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I haven't done the line.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes I do it ahead of time, but I figured we could do this together.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_00]: So who do you feel good about on the Niners side in this game?
- 39:15[SPEAKER_00]: Or is there a line that you like?
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of like
- 39:20[SPEAKER_00]: uh... Brock perty two forty two and a half combined passing and rushing yards together more uh... i think he's gonna have a at least two hundred fifty yards passing and rushing combined the rush arts help consider is that a more on Brock perty just throwing zero point five pass touchdowns at the bottom right he's got their one touch now pass
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it kind of, I'm not sure how much they can pay you because it doesn't give you a less so we'll throw that one in now that so that we got it to pick somebody else now, is there some is there a non-perty I feel good about Debo, but I'm just not sure if it's going to be rush yards or receiving yards right that's kind of the hard one.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I almost like Debo in the anytime touchdown.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I kind of like, even though he was ill today, I kind of like came on black more than 14 and a half rush yards, you know, you go to that Seattle game.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_01]: Jordan James had more success than Christian McCaffrey did that change up pace back had a lot of success.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: Can Kaleon black or it did have the best game, you know, against Denver as vision was off on a couple times didn't really break any tackles, but like the tape still looks good.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, maybe so close, so close.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's running so hard that he's going to he's going to pop one he's going to pop one Mike Evans practice today too so you know I kind of like Mike Evans now do you go with Mike Evans.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_00]: six and a half targets.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's like when Brock's really going to be under the gun, is he, and he could be under the gun in this game isn't he going to his most reliable.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_01]: Bring in half receptions.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_01]: He had five receptions with broken ribs.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm going to go with more on the three and a half receptions.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's pick a Seattle guys.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: We want to do Seattle as well.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: We have to do that too.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: We have to.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we have to.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, unfortunately, we do.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_00]: That's the way this thing works.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so I mean, they're just throwing
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: I know, wait a second, and I think we got to go, I've done one other this week with JSN receptions.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_00]: Let me see.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think the number is actually pretty low.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's like shockingly low.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to force feet in the ball.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, let's see.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_00]: Where is it?
- 41:48[SPEAKER_00]: JSN.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, George.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_01]: They are forced feeding that due to the ball.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: God would be more than six and a half perceptions for JSN.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: I, you know, to me, it seems like a JSN and only JSN type thing.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: Darn old?
- 42:14[SPEAKER_00]: Which of these darn olds do you like?
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: Two and a half interceptions more God.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody thinks you can throw that.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's a bit credible payout odds.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, scroll up to George with Lonnie.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: George with Lonnie over one and a half receptions.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_01]: That is the one, you keep going up, keep going up.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: There we go down a little bit right there.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: That will more than 1.5 receptions.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, they don't have another running back.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be Wilson and him and they throw it to a Lonnie.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of like want to go with Barner.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think Barner is the hot guy right now as far as they're they're going to him a lot.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_00]: All he needs is two and a half receptions.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'll definitely go with more than that on Barner.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_00]: This comes to this.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_00]: This can be a fat daddy.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_03]: We'll put.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: We'll put five on it, there we go.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: And let's make sure we get the screen, there we go, and we'll submit our line up, and it takes just a second and it's done.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: Look at that, didn't take that long at all.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: All right, here we go.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's a six-pick flex play, five pays is 25.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_00]: Pirty with a, I thought, I thought it would pay us more.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_00]: Passing touchdowns, it's got to have one.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Kalon Black's got a 15 rush yards.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Evans is going to have four receptions.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: JSN's going to have seven receptions.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_00]: Our seven, yeah, seven receptions.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_00]: George Alonis going to have three or two receptions and AJ Barners going to have three.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think I think that looks good.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think that looks good.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you to prize picks for being a proud sponsor of the Krug Show and we appreciate them quite a bit.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: They're fantastic.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you to prize picks.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: We'll move John and I back.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about Rehears.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: Jason's the best receiver.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's weird because he's not very big.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's not very fast.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: He's six feet tall.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_00]: And he's not the most, he's not like super strong.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: Then you say, well, six feet tall, he must just be a burner.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: No, he's not a burner.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's really not.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's just great.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 44:28[SPEAKER_00]: What do you do if you're a Raheem?
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: Do you double them to you?
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: Tilt everything towards him?
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the nires have played Lenore to the boundary and green to the field side all year.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_00]: Do you keep doing that?
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have Demo Lenore follow him around wherever he goes?
- 44:45[SPEAKER_00]: They move him around, he's in the slot.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_00]: They put him in motion.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_00]: They play him outside, they play him on both sides.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know where he's going to be.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: Almost you've got to take account of where he is on every play.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think what you got to do in this might sound counterintuitive.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to blitz it because Sam Donald's so bad against pressure.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: Now, Rahim has not gone to his tendencies, what she's been a traditionally high blitz rate guy everywhere he's been.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's just been bringing for a lot of fire zones, where Melalite dropped in the coverage, you know, why dropping in the coverage, you know, dropping lots of guys still bringing for but dropping a defensive head, bringing a lineback or safety nickel.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't touch phonics.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: He did attack phonics on the early early third downs with five and six man pressures.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: And so I want more of that because if you look at what Sam Darnell traditionally has struggled with is pressure.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_01]: That is the issue.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: And he's been, you know, you read the stats with Brock pretty against pressure.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: Sam Darnell does not equate that.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_01]: He just doesn't.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: The Niners don't do traditionally a lot of man.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: So like that idea of double team and stuff that's really kind of out in today's, you know, schemes, what you can do is run that cover two, which I wish the Niners would do more of where you have the safety help over the top to that side and if you're doing cover six, you roll the halves to the side and do quarters to the back side, whatever Jason's not on so a lot of cover two to Jason side.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_01]: Blitz, get after Sam Donald, make him speed up that processor because what makes JSN so special is the space and how quick he creates it Consistently against everybody.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_01]: He's not physical.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's a seven on seven type wide receiver that just glides out there on ice.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: which I love.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: I love bullies on defense.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_01]: I love green law.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: I love the way demo plays at times.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: I want that physicality.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_01]: I want to let them know.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: We're coming after you.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_01]: So roll cover two to Jason side, get some blitzes, get some fire zones, get some stunts, get all that stuff going.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm kind of excited about the opportunity that we're here more than this defense has because it's just working against everybody.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: Now, they don't get off the field on third and short.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's my biggest critique of this defense so far this season.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: If it's third and two, third and three,
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, chances are they're going to give up first down, but they sure as hell make it hard the rest of the time.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so that that's what I want to see Reemors do and I'm just excited from an X and O standpoint to see how he's going to attack it because this is where he's at his best.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: This is the difference between Robert Sala and Reemors.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: Robert Sala struggled against new creative play callers at Bryan Flurry.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's running our scheme.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see how Raheem Morris does.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_01]: We saw what he did against McVay and week one in Australia.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty pumped about this match-up, Larry.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_00]: I am too.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: I do think for him is going to be able to get pressure.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: They've got 51 pressures in four games.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: And they're doing it with a lot of different ways.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I like that combo of Oso Digi Zua and Keon White inside together.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think they're both, you know, they're both really good interior pressures.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know,
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: Um...
- 48:24[SPEAKER_00]: I thought, I thought Grace and Halton looked really, really good.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_00]: One sound, but I want to play here before we get out of here, and we have our supers as well, but I want to play one sound bite.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: This is, this is a pretty good little sound bite, it's about explosives, and here it
- 48:54[SPEAKER_03]: how do they do that, and while not getting pressure at the same time?
- 48:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, I mean, in some ways, like, if you're in pressure at time, you, you're less, you've got more guys in coverage, and you've got, and so in some ways, you know, if you're in,
- 49:18[SPEAKER_02]: you got no one that's dying coverage.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that's one way that they do limited by being able to pay coverage as much as they do.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_02]: And then they do a little job in safety, spend a good job keeping up, a shelf and a couple of defense.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_02]: And you guys just fly around, I think I've got the end of the day, there's just a level of hustle that you see on film.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, that's where those guys have been like that for a long time.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, they play hard and then play together.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_02]: So we have deepness of that side.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's hard to know with a veteran like cup does he really mean that as he sugarcoat and everything because these guys love to kind of puff, puff everybody up, but we haven't heard anybody really complain.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's a month in where are the complaints about your brown, where are the complaints about, about seagull, where are the complaints about the nine or safeties?
- 50:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, people were so convinced that myself and good that the 49ers didn't do enough at safety,
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and yet they're safety's court in the Kyle are playing pretty well.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: Jai here's look good.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm the biggest critic of Jai or Brown number 27.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_01]: He was awesome.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_01]: This game.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: He was great.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: Mountain of Stoff was great.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: And Marky Seagull was great.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_01]: Jerry Coach, Jerry Gray, joining.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's been huge.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_01]: Now, it's not all been perfect, but through four games, not bad.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_01]: Updance doubt has also like, that's one of the guys that probably needs to be talked about more.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like, didn't even give up a touchdown went up, and Stout played a snap.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: The entire Denver game, he comes out for one drive.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's there only touchdown drive all game.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_01]: Updance doubt is making plays everywhere, just relentless.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_01]: And so with his shoulder, he was limited.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_01]: I fully expect him to play.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_01]: This defense of back group is turned into the strength of this team that the linebackers really has and so whatever you have Fred out there And you got trade green law drop it in coverage and not have to worry about too much underneath stuff with those two linebackers just makes the job easier
- 51:24[SPEAKER_01]: And so man, I'm pumped, I mean, I'm excited to see this and I am curious when we're talking about blitz rates, you know, Steve Wilkes was a blitzer before he came here and Kyle told them basically can't do that, where he Morris was a blitzer and hasn't been since he's come here.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_01]: How much of it is Kyle shed a and said, hey, we don't want to blitz a lot.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_01]: We want to
- 51:45[SPEAKER_01]: drop seven.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: And so if you want to get creative with that, that's cool, but we want to we don't want to put it's a lot.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think that is kind of the Kyle Shanahan effect because with Steve's blitz him, he's excited and he takes advantage of it.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think?
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think that Shanahan kind of has his, you know, foot on the the break a little bit on the blitz rate for the defensive coordinators that come through here?
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because I think he, you know, one or two bad, you know, one or two bad calls, and suddenly you could be in a 14 point hole.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he wants anybody making his job harder.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like, you know, he feels like he can score fast.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe he's not as worried about the time of possession.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think he'd rather see them go on long, prolonged drives, but that's how you get your defense hurt, you know?
- 52:36[SPEAKER_00]: I would like to see them play a little bit more complimentary football, but, you know, it's an interesting call.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not really sure exactly how Kyle feels about that, or what his philosophy would be on that.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think?
- 52:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think Kyle tells him, like, dude, you can blitz.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like cover zero blitzes, like he does not like.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost always a cover one or a cover one under where you have a single high safety over the top, man defense across, and then you have the lurker, whether that's green wall or Warner depending on the running backs release, kind of lurking over the middle now, hook to Curl's own.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_01]: that's what they like to do.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_01]: And that's been with, you know, uh, shoe sorens in that's been with Wilkes that's been with solid 2.0 and that's been now.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_01]: So like he likes to have a little safety comfort.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: And so blitzed five, some, uh, I'm cool with that six every now and then not a lot of cover zero blitzes where everybody goes, um, yeah, I just think he likes it to be cautious and once
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: Um, one last one before we go, there's some people advocating the Niners pick up Vivaia, some people are saying they need a receiver, a lot of people are asking me in the last 24 hours, should the Niners sign Tyree Kill?
- 53:49[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I've seen an interview where Tyree Kill said that he's lost a lot of the power that he has in his legs, and I just don't,
- 53:57[SPEAKER_00]: To me, that was such a catastrophic injury that he suffered that I would probably steer clear just on that.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_00]: He looked, it looked catastrophic to me, and so I would say no untie-rekill, but there's no doubt that the 49ers need a defensive line help and they need a receiver, most likely.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_00]: Not for sure, but that's what it's looking like right now.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and there's a lot of options out there.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there's, it's not like there's no options.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_00]: There's plenty of options if you want, if you want to, you know, if you want to find a guy, you know, you can find a guy.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_00]: Um, here's what I saw listed as these are the options at the trade deadline.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know if they're all available, but this, these are the ones that people have floated.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_00]: Teethence event.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_00]: Khalil Mack Josh Ushi, Josh Sweat, Jadavi on Clowny, TJ Wat.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_00]: Wil Mcdonald, O'Femiola Dejo, defensive tackle, divorce Buckner, Solomon Thomas, Doron Paine, Sealer, and Philips from Miami.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_00]: And then why does Severwise, a bunch of them that are out there supposedly according to the reports, Brian Thomas Jr. Quentin Johnston, Malik Washington, Jerry Judy, DK Metcalf,
- 55:17[SPEAKER_00]: June Jennings potentially people have thrown that name out, Chris Godwin, Marvin Harrison Jr. Kendrick Born.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think, John?
- 55:28[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the the trade deadline is coming up in June in November.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's November 10th and it's after week nine.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's we're getting closer to it.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_00]: We're inside that window.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_00]: The Niners are clearly should be all in on this season, the way Brock's playing,
- 55:48[SPEAKER_00]: make a make a deal bring me somebody who do you what what makes sense to you i mean lynch i don't think wants to take a chance on guys who don't play hard see chase young i think he would i think i don't think he wants to give a day to pick
- 56:03[SPEAKER_00]: But if you could get two players, maybe he would give a day, two pick.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_00]: What trade, if you could make a trade, that's, I mean, not like, you know, Max Crosby.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_01]: Realistic.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_00]: If you could make a more of a realistic addition, and you've looked at the players available, what would you like to do?
- 56:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think the two biggest needed positions whenever you look at who's coming back and who is not defensive tackle and wide receiver to run pain and Chris Godwin.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think both of those are teams that are probably going to be in cell position very, very soon.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the bucks are going for.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: They just they don't have a quarterback this week.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_01]: They don't have a lot this week.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: So Doron Payne in a defensive tackle.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's that run stuffing defensive tackle perfect and Chris Godwin who can play all three wide receiver spots hasn't been in the shanty hand scheme, but the vet I feel like he could do a lot fits the physicality fits the versatility.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_01]: Those are just two guys that I think you could get without breaking the bank.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I think we'll be perfect plug and play tight guys that offer that versatility.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying they're the best names on the list talent wise, but whenever you're reading through those names, man, if I'm like, okay, make sense for the team trading them, make sense for the player, make sense for the 49ers, make sense for cost.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: Those seem to be the guys in the middle that Vin diagram, Doron Payne, and Chris Godwin seem to make the most sense to me.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't I don't want to pay through the nose and go crazy.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think a deal that would make a, you know, good sense to me would be a deal with Tennessee because Tennessee's clearly looking down the roof.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_00]: Tampa Bay is beaten the Yankees and the Yankees season.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_00]: We all win.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_01]: We all win.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_00]: We're the Yankees lose.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: We all win.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yankees stadium and I bet the race tonight.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm feeling good.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the deal that I would try to make.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_00]: OK, I would try to get a deal with Tennessee.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_00]: You had practice with Tennessee.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_00]: You got an up close look at their guys.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_00]: They're thinking long-term, you got a great relationship with Sala.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_00]: They're in a different conference.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_00]: You're basically not in any way rivals with them.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I just think that they have a couple pieces that I think the Niners could really use.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_00]: One,
- 58:31[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, a little familiar with the day show and Solomon Thomas.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can see it would be nice.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_01]: Solomon Thomas in.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, Solomon Thomas would be really nice.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you've had guys return.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_00]: I like the way you can play inside outside.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_00]: He can, he's, he's active.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_00]: He's fast.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_00]: And then all the day show.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_00]: would give you a younger player right you got a young player who can play you know you added somewhat of a dynamic kind of like almost like a kind of enduggers role another edge rusher and you get a versatile defensive laminate solment Thomas you want to grow the deal even more you know you can have them send Calvin Ridley over.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_00]: But I like Tennessee as a fit.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_00]: The other one I kind of like is I kind of like the idea of Joanne Jennings coming back for a song.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's doing nothing in Minnesota.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's not about nostalgia.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_00]: I just think that this guy was this guy's a big money player.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_00]: You're planning on playing big money games.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_00]: You need guys that you can trust.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_00]: This guy absolutely can you can trust.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, could you, I mean, could you have Mike Evans and Debo and Joanne Jennings and, you know, I mean, and because I just don't know what they're going to get out of struggling, I think I would like to have one more reliable, you know, one more reliable receiver.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, Jennings, I don't think we caution anything on the contract or compensation.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_00]: You probably get them for a six-round pick.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_00]: So those are the two deals I would do.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_00]: I also kind of like the Miami duo of Sealer and Jordan Phillips, but I don't know what the price tag would be there.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_00]: But I love Solomon Thomas and Oladillo as a as a combo.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_00]: One inside, one outside.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think that would solve their rush problems.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I get a lot of the Jennings and it makes sense from a 49er's perspective in Jennings perspective.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not so sure.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_01]: I know the Vikings aren't using them, but Justin Jefferson's injured.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's going to be a starter.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_01]: So like he's finally going to be thrust in the role very similar to when I uke.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_01]: did all that.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_01]: I used stuff and you had to kick Joanne Jennings over from the F to the X because you didn't have anybody else.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's what they're going to do.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think they're going to be looking.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're 4 and 0.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_01]: Why would you trade a wide receiver help to the other 4 and 0 team in the conference?
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but yeah, I get it for the Niners and I'd be down, you know, just keep bringing the reunion back.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_01]: The reunion tour is strong, Larry.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_01]: Bring them all back.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_01]: Could you bring it back?
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_01]: Where would the Niners be without T-bone Greenlaw right now?
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_00]: And those guys playing incredibly hard.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_00]: Let's hit our supers and we'll bolt for the door.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_00]: X X one, Torta quarter pounders.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_00]: Five jewels go travel.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_00]: Strong name, strong technique.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_00]: We got this one from Doc holiday.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, Krueg, I heard Valdez was uses a five tech and did well.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean?
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_00]: If you've seen the tape, is that accurate?
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_00]: Also do you think the eagles are in cell mode?
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: Anyone you like, if so, the eagles are not in cell mode.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_01]: No, they love Willie Lampkin and I went to Twitter immediately after that train there to give you your flowers my friend Because the reason why they traded cam jerkins is because how much they like Willie Lampkin more than you liked Willie Lampkin So probably I didn't even see that they moved jerkins today.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they traded them for a second round pick in 2028 to who?
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_01]: Baltimore Ravens
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, wow, I did not see that.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_00]: I tagged you as soon as I saw it.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, this is a very Kruger freaking stamp.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_01]: And yes, on the Sebastian Valdez, five tech, back to back weeks, he was used as the five tech and three defensive tackle sets and played really well on the edge as well.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_01]: So tape was very good for watching about this.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I talked to him today in the locker room, good dude.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_00]: And he's he's he can play man, he can play.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_00]: uh... s one k friday shanahan is the mastermind however pretty is the playmaker and there's a question about that peanut butter and jelly baby they go together yeah i mean you know i mean i i'm not believe me i hope any people weren't thinking that was an anti shanahan it really wasn't uh... j t s f versus c at a forty letters win every position battle besides two oh

- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, I do it myself.
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of fun actually.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's fun to make the videos on the road.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_00]: The Recovery 716 loves you guys.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_00]: My two favorites are for an enter content.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_00]: Brock made Shanahan system almost unbeatable.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_00]: I forgot who was the coach responsible for us drafting party.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_00]: That guy deserves recognition.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_00]: It was it was Kevin Slowick, right?
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't Bobby Slowick.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_00]: It was Kevin Slowick.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_00]: Is that, am I getting that right?
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_00]: Or is that believe that's correct?
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, believe that is correct.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we have this one from Scott WD, MVP's are about narratives, Brock getting, Brock going from the last pick to career best pass rating.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_00]: If he can add securing one, the one seed, that's a great narrative.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good point, go.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_00]: We love a story.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_00]: We love a story.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that's it, you're right.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_00]: It absolutely will be a phenomenal story.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_00]: Tommy Huxley says,
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_00]: What should NATO con or NATO con or Colby is farmed strong?
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_00]: Shnado con was the one who sold shaved her head, right?
- 1:04:45[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing, compass.
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, see what I'm watching, let's see what I'd watch album.
- 1:04:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's raining outside, give me my feels, I liked it.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_00]: Porterhouse became a YouTube member.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_00]: Look at that.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_00]: Porterhouse.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_00]: Who knows?
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good puppy right there in the AVI.
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_01]: Strong picture.
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_00]: And we have this one from Scott WD, players hate being embarrassed, more than they love winning.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_00]: This whole team is about to play like Draided last week.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's personal after last season.
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_01]: Love that.
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_01]: You remember how they responded to the Philly game whenever brought got hurt and they all showed up wearing black without even coordinating it.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_01]: And then he blew the Eagles out of the water, completely broke the Eagles.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_01]: They were not the same for two years.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_01]: after that.
- 1:05:32[SPEAKER_01]: Be nice to do that again.
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not predicting that to happen, but it'd be pretty damn nice.
- 1:05:37[SPEAKER_00]: It would be absolutely Michael, don't like going into this game without juice.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to predict that brain wills is going to play great football.
- 1:05:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's going to step in for juice.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_00]: Michael says, um, don't, oh, did he say that?
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_00]: Is that two of them?
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we already got that one.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, we got that one.
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_00]: I thought I hit them though.
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Michael.
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Michael.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_00]: M balus with, uh, will the four netters finally get a sack in the Seattle game?
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_00]: Hope so a Donald sackable is quick.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_00]: He can move, but you can get to him.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you need that.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_00]: He would be nice if they got a sack.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's for sure.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_00]: JT 23277.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think about trading for Chris Godwin?
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I heard John one through that out today.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_00]: I like that.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's a buddy of Evans for sure.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's a comfort zone there.
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the guy's a serious pro.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you like that idea?
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_01]: I love Chris Godwin.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_01]: He is one of my fair players coming out of the draft at Penn State that year.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_01]: I just thought the versatility, like you start them at X.
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_01]: And if that doesn't work out, you can move them to Z.
- 1:06:42[SPEAKER_01]: And if that doesn't work out, you put them in the Joanne Jennings role.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_01]: He could do it all.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_01]: The physicality, toughness, level 10.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_01]: I really like Chris Godwin.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_01]: that he's a vet coyote says hey I'm coyote what's up thank all right you coyote coyote says what if the Niners traded for beijon robins take like three first rounders and Atlanta would still hang up on you because he's might be the best player in football
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good man, two big wins, two big wins, lightning, mamba, one, two.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_00]: So Shanahan and Perti beat Mike McDonald and Seattle and Seattle on 10, 10, 24, Perti had 255 yards passing, three passing touchdowns, 129.3 pass rating, team healthy and Dibo was on the team.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_00]: I was there for that game.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_00]: That was fun one.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_00]: That was a fun one.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I feel good.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_00]: I feel good.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how this thing's going to go, but I feel good about their chances.
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_00]: Um, that's every that we got that one.
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_00]: We get we get we get this last one.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we did.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks to everybody.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks to John.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_00]: Um, hit like and subscribe on your way out the door.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks to picking a pickle.
- 1:07:51[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks to prize picks.
- 1:07:52[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you to Nevada Chevrolet.com.
- 1:07:55[SPEAKER_00]: John, as I often do, I will give you the final word before we pull the
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_01]: What else is there and sports besides this the Yankees just lost people.
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_01]: This is the sign of the times You got the 49ers you got Seattle whoever wins is first place in the division Let's get it done this week.
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm super excited.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be three for the fans Larry.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for everything you do Ah, this is a blast until next time.
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_01]: Stay strong, Faithful.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_00]: As Bill Bellachick would say On to Seattle
