- 0:03Hello and welcome back to the episode of Vance with Lawrence
- 0:06here. How are you all doing?
- 0:07If you're doing great for today's episode, don't talk
- 0:09about our broad marriages, UK marriages to be precise.
- 0:13Now, for a very long time, people have blamed the UK for
- 0:18ending marriages, ending marriages that lasted in
- 0:23Nigeria. And then according to them,
- 0:26these people moved to the UK and the marriages end because of,
- 0:29you know, women coming to the UK and gaining exposure, realising
- 0:35that they could earn money and all that.
- 0:37So, you know, that has always been the the notion.
- 0:41Now a guy or a man came out and share a story of his brother.
- 0:46According to him, his brother met her, met his wife in
- 0:50Nigeria. They dated for six years and
- 0:54then he proposed to her think. He said two days after the
- 0:58marriage he found messages on his wife's phone where she had
- 1:03been chatting with her ex who lives in the UK and he realised
- 1:08that he the ex, who is also married with children, had been
- 1:14trying to process her visa for her to join him in the UK.
- 1:18So he said he, she apologised, they cancelled the visa and then
- 1:25he decided to process visa for her to, I mean, what her ex was
- 1:29trying to do, he decided to man up and give her what she wanted.
- 1:35Mistake #1 because two days after marriage, if you had
- 1:40realised that your wife is cheating and you decided to
- 1:45forgive her, and her ex lives in the UK, why bring her to the UK?
- 1:50Anyway, we're not going to blame the victim now.
- 1:53He brought her to the UK and she was pregnant.
- 1:57You know, after the wedding, she got pregnant, they came to the
- 1:59Uki think he's a student and she's a dependent or he was
- 2:04working and you know, Cos and she is the dependent.
- 2:09She gave birth. And according to the brother,
- 2:13his brother checked his wife's phone.
- 2:16Maybe he had been seeing some kind of movement that he didn't
- 2:19like. Checked her phone and saw
- 2:21messages from the same man, the same married man in the UK.
- 2:26He confronted her, she denied the whole thing, blah blah blah
- 2:29blah blah. They were sending nudes to each
- 2:31other. So he decided to take the child
- 2:34because he was then suspecting that probably she came to the
- 2:37UK, got pregnant policeman. He does not know.
- 2:40So he did adna test on their son.
- 2:44It turned out he's not the father of the child being a
- 2:49forgiving man. Yeah, he forgave her.
- 2:55He told her that the only condition.
- 2:57After asking questions, she confessed that the father of the
- 3:01child lives in Nigeria. Also another married man with
- 3:04children, about two children. So he said they were the best
- 3:09thing is for them to take the child to Nigeria to live with
- 3:11the father, that he's not going to be going to school, working
- 3:15and then, you know, taking care of a child that does not belong
- 3:18to him, doing child care for a child that basically is not his
- 3:21child. According to the story, the lady
- 3:26then contacted her ex who is a married man with children.
- 3:30But you know, he she played it, she and the ex played it to the
- 3:34wife as if, you know, they were old friends and she got to the
- 3:39UK and her husband is martreating her.
- 3:42So they cooked up a story to say that the man forcefully, you
- 3:47know, RAPED had. So when that happened, she
- 3:53decided to take that story to the police.
- 3:57That's OK because they are married.
- 3:59She couldn't say, oh, he actually, you know, raped her.
- 4:03But what they told her to say was that he forced her, forced
- 4:07himself on her, but she gave him consent for that.
- 4:11But she didn't give him consent to release inside her.
- 4:16Make it make sense. Anyway, the police arrested the
- 4:19man. He said he was coming back from
- 4:21work. He was arrested, taken to
- 4:23prison. He affected his DB.
- 4:28He was sacked from work because he was working with kids.
- 4:32So DB is a very serious thing. If you just have any criminal
- 4:35record, you're going to be sacked.
- 4:38So he was sacked. People still begged the he
- 4:42decided to forgive his wife. But at this point, he had moved
- 4:46out of the house because they told him to, you know, move out
- 4:49of the house and they can only come back maybe in January or
- 4:52something like that, just to give her, you know, space to,
- 4:55you know, how you will do their things to cool down.
- 5:00He was still outside the house, still trying to sort himself
- 5:03out, walking warehouse shifts. And then according to to the
- 5:08brother, the wife and the married boyfriend cooked up
- 5:15another story because they said this man is going to remove you
- 5:17from Cos, you know, you don't know what he's planning.
- 5:21So for you to be, you know, get your stage, seek asylum, Why not
- 5:27lie, take a call, get somebody, arrange somebody in Nigeria,
- 5:31call that person and say the person should be telling you
- 5:33that when you get here, they're going to do all these things to
- 5:36you, kidnap you, kill you, do all these things.
- 5:40She made that arrangement. They made the call and she took
- 5:45that to the police. So at this point, the guy got a
- 5:49lawyer and then the lawyer went to the police and that was when
- 5:55they, the lawyer presented the DNA to say this is the motive
- 5:59why she's acting out all these things.
- 6:03Now, since that motive is now in the police station and since
- 6:06she's seeking asylum, police are now aware that, you know, maybe
- 6:09something is going on here. She then realised that the
- 6:15ex-boyfriend actually want to just end her marriage so that he
- 6:18could have full access to her. That was when she started
- 6:23confessing, telling people what she had done.
- 6:28At this point, her marriage, the marriage, the husband is no
- 6:34longer he can never work because she withdrew the case according
- 6:37to the brother, but it wasn't like a case that was
- 6:41investigated and closed. So he still have that on his DB
- 6:46record. I'm, I am just going to play
- 6:50this video for you to see what you know from the horses to hear
- 6:55from the horses mouth. But the reason why I want to
- 6:57talk about this is because a lot of times people think coming to
- 7:01the UK is the reason why marriages end.
- 7:05Marriages end because you made the wrong choice.
- 7:08Marriages end because you chose the wrong person.
- 7:12Marriages end because you decided to choose Bobby and Nash
- 7:17instead of brains, instead of common sense.
- 7:22Because you can't tell me you met somebody you've been dating
- 7:25for six years. She had exes who she had been
- 7:28communicating with. She is dating married men with
- 7:31children, obviously, because maybe you can't financially
- 7:35provide for her. You could see maybe she's living
- 7:38a lifestyle that is way above her means and you're not giving
- 7:42her those money. The money has to be coming from
- 7:45somewhere, regardless of what that person is telling you.
- 7:48If you don't go ahead and marry that person, whatever you see
- 7:53you're going to take in terms of a woman, you're dating a man.
- 7:58He has 5-6 girlfriend. If you are doing the pick me
- 8:01thing, trying to be the one to be the wife after he marries
- 8:07you, is he going to suddenly become a one man woman?
- 8:12The answer is no. He's still going to be what he
- 8:15is now, complaining after marriage, chasing him up and
- 8:22down, talking about how he's cheating.
- 8:26It's not going to solve the problem.
- 8:30Also, finances. You're getting married to
- 8:32somebody who is jobless, whether a man or a woman, and you're the
- 8:37one running around trying to find them.
- 8:40Listen you either you're born with hustle spirit or you're
- 8:44not. It cannot be thought, fire
- 8:48cannot be taught. It's either you have that
- 8:51burning in you or you don't. Now I'm not saying that
- 8:53everybody should have hustle spirit, but at least have a job.
- 8:57Be able to take care of yourself, whether man or woman.
- 9:00Before you get married to anybody, ensure that you can as
- 9:05a full-fledged human being, you can take care of yourself.
- 9:08You can pay your bills. Yes, I understand that.
- 9:13You know, most people want to get married to people who will
- 9:17be full time housewives because they want to nurture.
- 9:21They want somebody that will nurture their children.
- 9:23There's nothing wrong with that. We are in a day and age where
- 9:28you can do so many things online and still be able and still be
- 9:31available for your children. The choices you make is your
- 9:36problem. It's not UK, there's no UK
- 9:39marriages, there's no US marriages.
- 9:42It is 2 individuals that understand they have everybody's
- 9:47flawed, everybody have problems. If you choose a man that cheats,
- 9:52are you going to be happy with his cheating?
- 9:54Are you, are you going to be able to tolerate that cheating
- 9:57for the next 10 years? If you marry a jobless man and
- 10:02you're providing for the family or you marry a jobless woman and
- 10:06you're providing for the family, maybe one or two years, that
- 10:11will be OK because kids are not involved.
- 10:14When kids are involved, school fees, child care, baby food,
- 10:19baby nappies, are you still going to be 100% happy doing
- 10:25that? So these are why I think most
- 10:28times our generations are very sceptical about getting married
- 10:32because we are more wiser putting all these things into
- 10:36consideration. Anyway, I'm just going to play
- 10:41that video for you to see. Let me know what you think.
- 10:43Do you think that the problem is actually abroad marriages or the
- 10:49people involved in this marriages?
- 10:51Watch this. OK, good evening everyone.
- 10:56My name is Brian Dennis, and over the past couple of days
- 10:59I've been receiving lots of messages, questions about the
- 11:02whole story that got on Instablogger by my brother and
- 11:06his wife that accused him of rape in the UK.
- 11:10All right, So I just wanted to, I, I didn't want to respond
- 11:14because I'd not heard from him, although we spoke today and he
- 11:17was able to provide clear context, all right, about the
- 11:20whole issue and his phone was seized.
- 11:23All right. We both know that if you're
- 11:24dealing with a criminal investigation in the UK, you'll
- 11:27take your phone as part of investigation.
- 11:29So he was able to get a hold of his phone and then we spoke and
- 11:33I'm just going to give you a summary of everything without
- 11:35wasting your time. Now, my brother got married in
- 11:39December, the love of his life. He's known this girl for six
- 11:42years, All right? He's known her for six years.
- 11:45So it's not like we just met her somewhere.
- 11:46He's known her for six years. They were to get they've known
- 11:50each other for six years. OK.
- 11:52I just wanted to stretch that to stretch that rather.
- 11:54Now two days after the wedding, he found out he found intimate
- 12:02pictures, videos that she was exchanging with her
- 12:05ex-boyfriend. His name is Desmond in the UK.
- 12:09All right in the UK. This ex stays in the UK.
- 12:13She and this guy are actively exchanging nudes.
- 12:15They're talking and everything. He found out two days after the
- 12:19wedding, two days now he also found out that this man had been
- 12:26processing visa for his new wife, this Desmond with the UK.
- 12:30Now this Desmond is married, though he's married, he is
- 12:34married to a wife. He has a wife there in the UK,
- 12:36in Nigeria, in the UK that he's married to.
- 12:37But he processed visa for this babe, this my brother's wife.
- 12:41So my brother's wife found out. He was devastated but of course
- 12:45he didn't want to cancel the wedding.
- 12:46He didn't want to say I'm not marrying again or which I know
- 12:49so many men with including me. He didn't do that.
- 12:52He said OK, just cut off communication.
- 12:56The man requested. He said cut off communication
- 12:58from this guy. That's all I asked for.
- 12:59We are married now and the woman kneels down and say oh, I will
- 13:02do, I will do that is why I say I will not do it again or
- 13:05anything. And that's how the matter ended.
- 13:07And the man requested a refund from UK visas and they gave him
- 13:10his refund. I think yes, I'm going to put I
- 13:12have the screenshots for that. He gave him back his refund.
- 13:15Now as of September, September this year, she gave bets.
- 13:24She had moved to the UK already. She gave bets Now before we go
- 13:28to the best part, after they had moved to the UK, him now in the
- 13:32go work now all right, she she's a dependent.
- 13:35She never get work yet he found out that she had resumed talking
- 13:40to this Desmond again with the UK look that was processing her
- 13:43visa for her. She had resumed talking to him.
- 13:45They started doing those crazy things.
- 13:47They exchanged this thing. So it was like, what the fuck is
- 13:51going on? And then she said, hey, you got
- 13:53her UK number, which she just gets.
- 13:55She does and they text him already.
- 13:56It was good. She said I'm sorry, I'm sorry,
- 13:58I'm sorry, I'm sorry. And then she blocked him again.
- 14:02Now, all right, life goes on. He he by September, just about 3
- 14:10months ago, she gave birth. OK, and out of some curiosity,
- 14:17because we're in that area where DNA and everything, out of some
- 14:19curiosity, he went to do a DNA test.
- 14:23All right, I'm going to put the result on the screen.
- 14:25He did a DNA test and his DNA test confirmed that he's not a
- 14:30biological father of this child, OK?
- 14:32He was devastated. He was he was bought.
- 14:35He was calm about it. He reached out to about 3 family
- 14:39members, close friends. And then because of how the
- 14:42situation is in the UK, they told him, see, don't do anything
- 14:47yet. Just be calm about it.
- 14:49Just take time, all right, and so talk to more people, try to
- 14:54pick brains disease. And so he reached out to his
- 14:56pastor and then his pastor says, see he the pastor said, OK, see
- 15:04go and protect your family. All right.
- 15:06So he resolved in his heart he was going to forgive her.
- 15:09Although the people that were advising me were like, see the
- 15:11guy go tell her the Matachi will go bring one false charge
- 15:13against you. All right.
- 15:14But he wasn't worried about that.
- 15:16He desired to forgive her. And then you went home on the
- 15:1927th of the 20 in November? No, it's sometime in, in, in, in
- 15:26sometime in, in October, rather. Sometime early November rather.
- 15:31He went, he told, he confronted her to the sea.
- 15:34I know this child is not my own. You show that agenda with the
- 15:36test result. I know this child is not my own,
- 15:39but I forgive you. The only thing you could do for
- 15:42me is that this child will not stay with us because I'm a
- 15:46student, yet I'm walking. You're not walking.
- 15:49I cannot now be doing childcare for a child that is not my own.
- 15:54The expenses is too much for a young man.
- 15:57And he was like, OK, I'm going to walk, think about it.
- 16:02And then let me know what happened.
- 16:04And when I come back, we'll talk.
- 16:06And he will now confessed who the rule she suspects is the
- 16:10real father. My brother even called the man.
- 16:13And you know the funny part? The real father of the child
- 16:16back in for Nigeria is also a married man with two children.
- 16:21Apparently she had sex with him one week before their wedding.
- 16:25Hey, one week before their wedding she had sex with him and
- 16:29then got married to my brother about one week later.
- 16:33Now my brother called him and said, oh, look, worry.
- 16:36See. Ah, if I say you're picking, you
- 16:38get picking. Yeah, or how we go do and my
- 16:40brother said, hey, we're going to send the child over and then
- 16:44if you want to do your own DNA test to accept him whether you
- 16:47get them or not also do your own.
- 16:48But this speaking he will stay with me.
- 16:50He was pretty calm about it. There was no violence and then
- 16:53he and he even told his wife that see plenty people just make
- 16:56her not tell you this matter because the fierce you could
- 16:58report me to you go go bring up an allegation or another
- 17:01allegation because the fierce I'm going to move you for visa
- 17:03and everything. I'm not going to do all of that.
- 17:06OK, I'm not going to do all of that.
- 17:08I forgive you, but I cannot raise the, I cannot be hustling
- 17:11and taking care of each other. That is not biologically mine.
- 17:14Forget the fact that he has been betrayed.
- 17:16This was, I'm proud. I, I, I, I, this was the highest
- 17:20character he showed. All right now he went to work on
- 17:25the 27th November, that was 27th November.
- 17:27He came back from work and there were police officers in the
- 17:29house and they arrested him and these were the charges he was
- 17:33taking to to sell. And these are the charges rape
- 17:36of an of of an adult 18 plus. And these are the this is the
- 17:41byline of the rape. Consent was given for sex, but
- 17:45consent was not given to it for ejaculation.
- 17:49Husband and wife consent was given for sex, but the wife says
- 17:53she's not given consent for him to ejaculate.
- 17:56What the fuck is that? Anyway, he was arrested.
- 18:00He spent one night in gaol and was granted bail, and the bail
- 18:06condition was that he should not near his own house until 26th of
- 18:10January. These are part of the bail
- 18:11conditions. Fucking crazy.
- 18:14Yeah. Now here's the twist, OK?
- 18:21And I'm saying, and we know this now because she came and
- 18:25confessed Now, after my brother confronted her about this child,
- 18:31you know what she did? She called that's as he
- 18:34confronted her. I went to work.
- 18:36She called her ex, OK, that's this Desmond guy.
- 18:40She called this Desmond guy and I watched this Desmond.
- 18:43I told this Desmond guy everything CEO Desmond and his
- 18:47wife, his wife, that's this Desmond that she's exchanging
- 18:51sensitive pictures with you. She called him and told him and
- 18:54his wife. I'm not sure his wife knows that
- 18:56here that that that the woman and the man that they do do
- 18:59something. So I told him everything and
- 19:02then the wife is like now this kind of thing, they fear you and
- 19:06some people go find one allegation lay against them and
- 19:09go just spend one night for sale.
- 19:10So by time come back from sale in go calm down into a tail and
- 19:13to Jingle to see now waiting that they run down for one of
- 19:16their passing away from Nigeria too.
- 19:19Can you imagine? And we know this because she
- 19:21confessed it. She called, she confessed to my
- 19:23brother. So they not told her that see
- 19:25here's what we are going to do now I need to I didn't state
- 19:29this, but when he found out that she was chatting with this same
- 19:32Desmond with her UK number, it got so bad that at a point he
- 19:37seized he said, OK, let me buy you a new phone collected our
- 19:41old phone and bought her a new phone and there was one bought
- 19:44her a new phone now. So when should they tell this
- 19:47Desmond and his wife the matter of the accusation the the one
- 19:50where she don't don't catch her now she don't talk and Desmond
- 19:53say and your wife want to go Adam say that coercive behaviour
- 19:56same day in the coercive and then she made she had rape.
- 20:01So they told her to draw this. In fact, she was so scared that
- 20:03you're like this thing this thing is looking very serious.
- 20:06You said no, no, no, just after one dingo calm down.
- 20:08One just is a humble lamb and she followed them and did this
- 20:12and he was arrested and these are the things that came after
- 20:14his arrest. He lost his job immediately.
- 20:18He was suspended from work immediately.
- 20:19Now his DBS was updated. For those of you in the UK, you
- 20:22know what DBS means, that a rape charge has been added to his.
- 20:26His record in the country what that means is that he cannot
- 20:29walk in some places again for his life just because of that
- 20:32charge now and where he walks before this charge happened was
- 20:38he works with children. He was immediately suspended
- 20:41sharp sharp no time now he didn't have anywhere to go
- 20:45started. You know Gaja walk in the UK
- 20:46they work for factory they they do this that's what he was doing
- 20:49even that's what he's still doing up till now.
- 20:52Now when when the arrest had been done was guy was granted
- 20:58bail without his phone. Of course you have to be using
- 21:00people's messenger to chat to me and talk to me and tell me
- 21:03what's going on all right so she was now like she and in this
- 21:09report when she give police you know at the genu now when my
- 21:12brother and the lawyer they they can't tell police everything.
- 21:16So even then they were like I Met Police were like it's kind
- 21:18of matter because ejaculation without as in consent for
- 21:25ejaculation. All right, So bottom line,
- 21:28especially in a married couple, let me move forward time, time,
- 21:32no deal. So eventually it was even.
- 21:37So what we now know is that it was even the Desmond himself
- 21:41that called that wrote sent the reports to police that got her
- 21:46insured got her a lawyer sent the report to police.
- 21:50Now as they are doing that one have they granted him bail
- 21:56investigation is still going on. They not told her that see these
- 22:00two will don't do your husband so you don't lose a job.
- 22:01This team in go remove you from this hour.
- 22:04This is what we'll now do. They started planning how she
- 22:07will get asylum. They told her that OK, she will
- 22:10do apply for asylum for her to add that they came up with
- 22:15something that was that they do apply for housing from housing
- 22:18Council to then they said something very, very, very crazy
- 22:22that that she will have to fake a phone call with somebody in
- 22:26Nigeria. Now she will call this phone
- 22:28call and then this phone call. The person with the shout say
- 22:32Shebina, you go report our brother to police anything make
- 22:35you come Nigeria, we go kill you.
- 22:37This was what they were contriving as evidence.
- 22:41We used to apply for asylum and we know this because she
- 22:43confessed it because the matador which were we're getting we're
- 22:46getting to it. Can you imagine how crazy how
- 22:50sinister people can be Jesus. OK, bottom line is that even
- 22:59when my brother was living in the streets, living on the
- 23:02streets looking for money, doing all sorts of work just to this
- 23:05thing. They were still contrive in
- 23:07thinking of more ways. And then she like said she don't
- 23:11she don't she started I don't know, she started seeing
- 23:12something sinister. Why husband and wife, they more
- 23:15interested in seeing her own marriage end.
- 23:19Even after the man just saying was Ingo, Ingo Ingo continued
- 23:23the marriage. I think at some point she said
- 23:25she needed to again and then she went to the police and withdrew
- 23:29the charges and then called him and told him she has dropped the
- 23:32charges and confessed and told him everything that I'm not
- 23:36telling. Some of the things are, well,
- 23:37I'm not telling you. That's where we are, that's
- 23:41where we are. And he's sad because this man
- 23:44has lost his job. He has lost his job.
- 23:48His DBS has been updated. Remember now police don't drop
- 23:51the charge and I should go withdraw the charge.
- 23:53What that means is that in their head, maybe they settled out of
- 23:56court, but in the record they say he was accused of rape.
- 24:02It is insane. It is fucking insane, guys,
- 24:07right? Look at the extent people go.
- 24:10The extent people go, and it's so sad that this force rape
- 24:14allegations is making it hard for even real victims to come
- 24:17out and speak when they're now real victims.
- 24:20Nobody go answer them. Why are you people doing this?
- 24:23Why are you people doing this? So this is where we are.
- 24:27This is where we are. Of course we are taking legal
- 24:30action against Desmond, sci-fi and even the wife.
- 24:37That's where we are. We have ruined my brother's
- 24:38life, destroyed his reputation, fucked up his mental health.
- 24:43He's a he's a total mess right now.
- 24:46He's a total mess right now. Even when they make decision,
- 24:48I'm a total mess. I cannot believe that people
- 24:50have the hearts to to sit down, to contrive these machinations.
- 24:55This wickedness, it is insane. It is fucking insane.
