Blake J. Harris’s biography charts Larry David’s comic career
Blake J. Harris’s authorized biography of Larry David examines a career shaped more by defiance than drive. David abandoned early opportunities in television, left “Seinfeld” on two occasions, and once said he would prefer a year in prison over writing another season. Still, along with Jerry Seinfeld, he developed a hit show by transforming routine conversations, awkward moments, and complaints into humor. Drawing from interviews, transcripts, and internal memos, the book offers in-depth coverage of episodes like “The Soup Nazi,” giving it the character of an oral history.
