Speaker 3: the site trumprx dot gov. That's right, it is. It's
• 1:00
Speaker 3: truly incredible to see what the President is now put

• 1:07
Speaker 3: American patients. President Trump announcing the launch of trump rx
• 1:11
Speaker 3: dot gov. Through the website, patients, we'll be able to

• 1:19
Speaker 3: the highest price medications in the country, paying prices in
• 1:23
Speaker 3: line with the lowest paid by other developed nations, known
• 1:28
Speaker 3: as the most favored nation price. Something America could have
• 1:32
Speaker 3: done decades ago, but we didn't do it. Why because
• 1:36
Speaker 3: of corruption Washington, the drug manufacturers and lobbyists making sure
• 1:41
Speaker 3: that you paid more than anyone else in the world
• 1:43
Speaker 3: on many of the medications we're talking about right now
• 1:47

• 1:53
Speaker 3: to reach MFN pricing deals with the Trump administration. We're

• 2:26
Speaker 3: discounts on medicines that you need. Depending on the manufacture
• 2:31
Speaker 3: of a given drug. Patients with valid prescriptions will be

Speaker 3: able to access savings through their user friendly coupons that
• 2:39
Speaker 3: can be printed or downloaded onto your phone, or through
• 2:41
Speaker 3: channels set up by the manufacturer and then integrated into
• 2:45
Speaker 3: trump ARX dot gov. Why is the President doing all
• 2:49
Speaker 3: of this. It's actually for a very simple reason. The
• 2:52
Speaker 3: President of the United States of America says, we have
• 2:55
Speaker 3: to put Americans first and our patients first. Here's more
• 2:59
Speaker 3: the President of the United States of America in his
• 3:02
Speaker 3: own words on this, and how exciting is about the
• 3:06
Speaker 3: future for every American.
• 3:08
Speaker 1: We're here this evening to celebrate the launch of one
• 3:12
Speaker 1: of the most transformative healthcare initiatives of all time. There's
• 3:16
Speaker 1: never been anything like it. Starting tonight, dozens of the
• 3:21
Speaker 1: most commonly used prescription drugs will be available at dramatic
• 3:25
Speaker 1: discounts for all consumers throughout a new website. It's called
• 3:31
Speaker 1: trumprx dot gov. That's trump rx dot gov. For years,
• 3:37
Speaker 1: politicians from both parties have promised to bring down prescription
• 3:42
Speaker 1: drug prices and make healthcare more affordable. But they all failed.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: It was all words as usual. They failed, and they
• 3:50
Speaker 1: failed badly. They tried doing this, some of them, most
• 3:53
Speaker 1: of them didn't even try because they never really had
• 3:56
Speaker 1: a shot at it. But I'm actually getting it done.
• 4:00
Speaker 1: Is done. Actually, this launch represents the largest reduction and
• 4:04
Speaker 1: prescription drug prices in history by many, many times, and
• 4:09
Speaker 1: it's not even close. You're going to see numbers that
• 4:11
Speaker 1: you're not going to believe.
• 4:13
Speaker 3: Purchasing directly through Trump ar ex GOV will be able
• 4:16
Speaker 3: you'll be able to see. The White House says massive
• 4:18
Speaker 3: price reductions on forty of the most popular and expensive
• 4:22
Speaker 3: branded medications in the nation. Select examples include historic price reductions.
• 4:27
Speaker 3: The White House said for Americans on the two drugs
• 4:30
Speaker 3: of the highest annual expenditures in the United States which
• 4:33
Speaker 3: help adults struggling with diabetes heart disease. These are drugs
• 4:37
Speaker 3: like ozeimpic, and they also help with obesity, getting that
• 4:41
Speaker 3: under control, and other conditions. The monthly price of ozimpic
• 4:44
Speaker 3: and injection injectables like that will fall from more than
• 4:48
Speaker 3: one thousand dollars to an average price of as low
• 4:52
Speaker 3: as one hundred and ninety nine, depending on dosage strength.
• 4:56
Speaker 3: The monthly price of other drugs used for weight loss,
• 4:59
Speaker 3: for example, and the new pill will fall from one thousand,
• 5:02
Speaker 3: three hundred and forty nine dollars with GOVY to as
• 5:05
Speaker 3: low as one hundred and forty nine, depending on the
• 5:08
Speaker 3: dosage and strength. The monthly price of zet bound will
• 5:12
Speaker 3: fall from one thousand and eighty eight to an average
• 5:14
Speaker 3: price of three hundred and forty six dollars and as
• 5:18
Speaker 3: low as two ninety nine depending on the dosage and strength.
• 5:21
Speaker 3: As well. Massive savings on some of the most commonly
• 5:24
Speaker 3: used fertility medications in the country will also put families first,
• 5:29
Speaker 3: something the President promised, and help American families grow. Many
• 5:34
Speaker 3: patients struggling with infertility pay for their medications out of pocket.
• 5:38
Speaker 3: And let me tell you, having three children through IVS,
• 5:43
Speaker 3: IVF and vitro fertilization, the amount of financial stress going
• 5:48
Speaker 3: through that process is unbelievable. Tens of thousands of dollars
• 5:52
Speaker 3: we spent on the drugs alone because it was all
• 5:54
Speaker 3: out of pocket. Well, that's exactly why the President made
• 5:58
Speaker 3: this one of the top priorities. He now says that
• 6:02
Speaker 3: many families will stand to save more than two thousand
• 6:05
Speaker 3: dollars per cycle of fertility drugs on average. This is incredible.
• 6:11
Speaker 3: Got a laugh. One of the most commonly used fertility drugs,
• 6:14
Speaker 3: we'll see its price reduced to as low as one
• 6:16
Speaker 3: hundred and sixty eight per penn depending on dosed strength.
• 6:20
Speaker 3: The price for another commonly used fertility medication will drop
• 6:24
Speaker 3: all the way down to twenty two to fifty. And
• 6:28
Speaker 3: there are many other drugs that you have to use
• 6:30
Speaker 3: in infertility treatments. The President, saying that's a priority. Discounts
• 6:34
Speaker 3: on numerous other high cost drugs, including inhalers to treat
• 6:39
Speaker 3: chronic conditions that deal with COPD will be discounted all
• 6:45
Speaker 3: the way down to fifty one dollars from five hundred.
• 6:48
Speaker 3: There's asthma hailers to treat symptoms and attacks. The price
• 6:52
Speaker 3: will drop from five hundred and four down to two
• 6:54
Speaker 3: hundred and one dollars. That's real money. These are just
• 6:57
Speaker 3: some of the examples that the President is made a
• 7:00
Speaker 3: real priority. And then insulin, for example, will be available
• 7:04
Speaker 3: as low as twenty five dollars a month. Yeah, Duavi,
• 7:08
Speaker 3: a medication used to treat hot flashes and osteoporosis. We'll
• 7:12
Speaker 3: see its price cut from two hundred and two dollars
• 7:15
Speaker 3: all the way down to just thirty dollars. And the
• 7:18
Speaker 3: President made it clear he's delivering lower costs on the
• 7:21
Speaker 3: most popular drugs. President Trump delivering on that promise to
• 7:26
Speaker 3: ensure American patients no longer pay high prices to subsidize
• 7:30
Speaker 3: low prices in the rest of the world, something the
• 7:33
Speaker 3: political establishment did not believe was even possible. On May twelfth,
• 7:38
Speaker 3: twenty twenty five, President Trump did sign that executive order
• 7:41
Speaker 3: titled Delivering Most Favored Nation Prescription Drug Pricing to American Patients,
• 7:46
Speaker 3: directing the administration to take numerous actions to bring American
• 7:50
Speaker 3: drug prices in line with those paid by similar nations.
• 7:55
Speaker 3: Fast forward to July thirty first of last year, President
• 7:58
Speaker 3: Trump sent letters to leading pharmaceutical manufacturers outlining the steps
• 8:02
Speaker 3: they must take to bring down the prices of prescription
• 8:05
Speaker 3: drugs in the United States to match the lowest price
• 8:08
Speaker 3: offered in other developed nations. And then sept September of
• 8:13
Speaker 3: this year, let me rephrase that, since September of last year,
• 8:17
Speaker 3: President Trump announced sixteen deals with major pharmaceutical manufacturers to
• 8:22
Speaker 3: bring prices in line with those paid in other developed nations,
• 8:26
Speaker 3: which will provide substantial price relief on numerous products taken
• 8:29
Speaker 3: by millions of Americans each and every day. And then
• 8:34
Speaker 3: on December one of twenty twenty five, the Office of
• 8:37
Speaker 3: the United States Trade Representative, the Department of Commerce, and
• 8:39
Speaker 3: the Department of Health and Human Services announced an agreement
• 8:43
Speaker 3: with the United Kingdom that will increase the net price
• 8:45
Speaker 3: of new prescription drugs by twenty five percent in the UK,
• 8:49
Speaker 3: helping ensure that they pay their fair share for innovative
• 8:52
Speaker 3: medicines that they've been taking advantage of. In America has
• 8:55
Speaker 3: been well holding the bill, and then on January the
• 8:59
Speaker 3: fifth this year, President Trump called on Congress to enact
• 9:03
Speaker 3: the Great Healthcare Plan, which he said with lower drug
• 9:06
Speaker 3: prices by codifying the savings from his most favored nation
• 9:11
Speaker 3: pricing initiatives, lowering insurance premiums of skyrocket under Obamacare, hold
• 9:16
Speaker 3: insurance companies accountable, and most importantly, maximize, as he describes it,
• 9:22
Speaker 3: price transparency for all Americans. Another major win for so
• 9:28
Speaker 3: many Americans that voted for Donald Trump. And as he said,
• 9:32
Speaker 3: starting tonight, dozens of the most commonly used prescription drugs
• 9:36
Speaker 3: will be available at the site that he has put together.
• 9:40
Speaker 3: He is excited about it. Trumprx dot gov another campaign
• 9:45
Speaker 3: promise It's become a reality by the President of the
