- 0:55of the band Foreigner.
- 0:56Speaker 1: They're not gonna because they're pissed off about something.
- 0:58Speaker 3: They're fighting there, always fighting. Two original members of Foreigner
- 1:03won't be in attendance. When the band is inducted into
- 1:05the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this weekend.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And let's start there, foreigner in the Rock Hall of Fame.
- 1:11Come on, I had a lot of hits. Yeah.
- 1:14Speaker 3: On Instagram, post by the band confirmed that founding guitarist
- 1:18Mick Jones and original drummer Dennis Elliott will not be
- 1:21in attendance. Elliott on social media said that it's a
- 1:24scheduling issue.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Right because he's so busy.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Okay, no reason has been given for jones absence, but yeah,
- 1:36but that that evil Lou Graham will be there.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Uh huh, Yeah, I know who's the guy that won't
- 1:41be there, Mick Jones and Dennis Elliott.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Mick Jones has I think he has said he won't
- 1:46be there because he's played the wrong clip.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Uh. And let's see. Oh, the Van's Warped Tour is returning.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yes, it's been gone for quite a while, it has.
- 1:58Speaker 4: I've heard Insomniac is going to try and help this
- 2:01out too well.
- 2:02Speaker 3: And when they went away, I said, you'll be back.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Fans.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Warped Tour returning twenty twenty five, only doing three shows
- 2:10next year and not here no, which which you know,
- 2:15we've always been a longtime supporter of the Vans Warped
- 2:17tour here in Salt Lake.
- 2:18Speaker 1: We were so we were so identified with the Vands
- 2:21Warped toward that people here thought that we put it
- 2:24on exactly.
- 2:26Speaker 3: The long running punk rock festival celebrating its thirtieth anniversary
- 2:29next year, two day festivals in three cities, d C.
- 2:33Long Beach in Orlando.
- 2:35Speaker 1: So what's his name? Still running the show? Doesn't say,
- 2:39I can't think of his name now.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Lineups have not been announced, yes, but each stop will
- 2:43feature up to one hundred bands across a wide range
- 2:46of genres. Full weekend passes are one hundred and fifty bucks.
- 2:50Speaker 4: That's so exciting. I would love to see Three Days
- 2:52Grace on that lineup, just because the lead singer of
- 2:55Three Days Grace has finally come back, Adam Gonetier's back
- 2:58in the band.
- 3:00Speaker 3: And they're probably going to announce the lineup soon because
- 3:02the tickets go on sale on the twenty fourth.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Oh wow, that's quake. Okay, oh yeah, next week.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Be aware of that.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Mariah Carey says she recorded a secret grunge album in
- 3:14the nineties.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Oh boy, Well, the only reason it's secret is because
- 3:20if it had been any good, it would be released.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Probably, Let's see It says there's nothing quite like the
- 3:28classic grunge era Nirvana, Allison Chains, Soundgarden, Mariah Carrey.
- 3:33Speaker 1: You know.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Back in twenty twenty, she revealed that she recorded a
- 3:37secret grunge album in nineteen ninety five. It had a
- 3:41title in everything.
- 3:42Speaker 1: What was the title?
- 3:43Speaker 3: Does it say Someone's Ugly daughter? But it was never released.
- 3:50She's still hoping that it will get released some day.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I want to know why she chose someone's ugly daughter.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I think she should hope that it will not be
- 4:00least until she and all of her children and her
- 4:04children's children are dead. That would be and then then
- 4:08they should release. That would be for the better.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Paul Stanley from Kiss weighing in on this whole Jane's
- 4:15addiction stage fight thing.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I upset about this because, you know, if
- 4:19you want to know what's Paul Stanley has to.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Say, he's got a good opinion on just about anything.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Oh yeah, let's see. The Kiss singer appeared on a podcast,
- 4:29Charity's Thoughts on Jane's addiction recent mid concert clash Cardinal rule.
- 4:35You don't hit.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Okay when you're on stage with your bandmate. You don't
- 4:42hit your bandmate.
- 4:44Speaker 3: And you don't bring your problems on stage.
- 4:48Speaker 1: You leave your ego.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Well that's more difficult, but you leave your anger and
- 4:52your resentment at the bottom of the stairs. And we
- 4:55would go on stage and have a great time sometimes playing,
- 4:59and then walk off the and not be talking to
- 5:01each other. The audience doesn't deserve that. The audience paid,
- 5:05and then they go back to the same philosophy as
- 5:07being the band that we never saw.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Well, you know that nobody, none of the other members
- 5:13of Kiss liked Geene Simmons.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Well, this is Paul Stanley.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I know that none of them like I'm sure of it.
- 5:21Paul Stanley didn't like him, didn't like him.
- 5:23Speaker 3: No, I've heard interviews with Paul Stanley and you can
- 5:25tell he doesn't like him, but he he knows he's
- 5:28you know him, You got to play with him. People
- 5:32only get one chance to see you, possibly on a tour.
- 5:35Doesn't matter about last night or the night after. That's
- 5:38their night for them to see you not interacting with
- 5:41your bandmate, and that's kind of Essie disrespect.
- 5:45Speaker 1: He's absolutely right.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Well, and they can't. They canceled the rest of their
- 5:48tour after that. If I remember correctly, James and I.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Think they said they probably will will not play together again.
- 5:55Speaker 3: And Perry Ferrell's been apologizing less and right, but not
- 6:00to them. He's doing it publicly on social media and stuff.
- 6:05Why don't you call Dave Navarro and apologize.
- 6:07Speaker 1: He won't take my goal? Probably not, I'm sure, you know.
- 6:11I mean, I think Perry Farrell probably feels really horrible
- 6:15about the whole he does.
- 6:17Speaker 3: He does, he realized that he was stupid that night.
- 6:21Speaker 4: I wonder how much alcohol and or drugs led to that.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Jeez, I never was you know, when I saw Jane's
- 6:27addiction years and years ago, and I was right up close.
- 6:30It was out at the old fair Grounds in the
- 6:33dirt Palace, and you know, you were able to get
- 6:35right up close there. There were actually there weren't that
- 6:38many people there. It was far from being a sold
- 6:41out show because nobody knew who they were. They were new,
- 6:44and he seemed to be so out of it. I thought,
- 6:48how is this guy performing now? I don't know if that.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Was an act or Honestly, I'm surprised that we're still
- 6:53talking about him.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I thought he'd be dead alone. Time ago, because it's
- 6:56you know, it's like Jim Morrison. A lot of times
- 6:59he seemed to be really out of he was just
- 7:01screwing around. Yeah, he wasn't really so wasted he could
- 7:05barely talk. He just played like he was all.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Right, So like a real morning show.
- 7:11Speaker 1: There you go.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Well, that's that's why we don't do that very news
- 7:15because it's politics, all right, it's great
