- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellancamps and camera judge. Hi, guys,
- 0:13Speaker 1: welcome to Two Teas in a Pod with myself, Teddy
- 0:16Speaker 1: Mellencamp and myself Teddy Mellencamp. Tamra is filming today, so
- 0:22Speaker 1: I have a special guest and I'll be grilling him alone.
- 0:25Speaker 1: It is Sergio Carreo, Caroline Stanberry's husband, who you know what,
- 0:33Speaker 1: Let's be honest. He may as well be a housewife
- 0:36Speaker 1: because he was pretty much in the show more than
- 0:40Speaker 1: some of the housewives. All right, well, I'm excited to
- 0:43Speaker 1: bring him on, grill him on a little sex education
- 0:46Speaker 1: and go from there. Hi, Sergio, how are you look
- 0:52Speaker 1: at you with your pink Oh my god, the pink
- 0:55Speaker 1: background and the do you think this is a confessional?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Oh my? Is your dog matching you? I hold on?
- 1:07Speaker 1: Is that your Yeah? I can't. And I also need
- 1:14Speaker 1: to know, is Caroline. I feel like I see an
- 1:16Speaker 1: additional person on the zoom is sheet and you're watching
- 1:19Speaker 1: us too. I knew, and I was like, she's got
- 1:25Speaker 1: her finger on the pulse somewhere. There is absolutely no
- 1:29Speaker 1: way she's my kind of girl. She has got this
- 1:32Speaker 1: on lock. I even put him in the closet. That's
- 1:35Speaker 1: why you will thank you belong. Oh speak, well, let's
- 1:39Speaker 1: just jump right into that because when I posted that
- 1:43Speaker 1: you were coming on, everyone and their mother sent me
- 1:46Speaker 1: text messages saying you need to ask him who Derek
- 1:50Speaker 1: Warburton is. Oh, okay, so who is Derek? And do
- 1:56Speaker 1: we need to just cover this? It's basically is the
- 2:00Speaker 1: his friend of a friend of mine who was kind
- 2:02Speaker 1: of like doing all these parties in Los Angeles and
- 2:05Speaker 1: I was just literally just a gay friend of his.
- 2:07Speaker 1: No, no no, I don't even a friend anymore. Like I
- 2:09Speaker 1: was invited to party and they do that picture of
- 2:12Speaker 1: fast with other people and that's it. We're gonna yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 1: which is like completely normal like us Europe being he's Latin,
- 2:25Speaker 1: ridiculous when he dresses. I mean, my husband is also
- 2:30Speaker 1: Latin um, but I have yet to make him dress
- 2:34Speaker 1: up to match. His dogs are dogs. But that's happening
- 2:37Speaker 1: next it made happen. I don't know that I'm actually
- 2:42Speaker 1: know what I'm going to get out of this, but
- 2:44Speaker 1: I actually think it's really sad that we have beaten
- 2:47Speaker 1: feelings and whatever out of our men. If a man
- 2:51Speaker 1: shows his feelings, he's gay or you know, hugs or
- 2:55Speaker 1: cries or does you know whatever. I mean, he was
- 2:57Speaker 1: a soccer player, and I mean, I mean stand for
- 3:04Speaker 1: this part. I mean, I think that's huge, especially because Caroline,
- 3:07Speaker 1: you are very much in the same way that I am,
- 3:10Speaker 1: where we are very like, we're kind of type A.
- 3:13Speaker 1: We can be come off as a little you know,
- 3:17Speaker 1: like I wait until I trust somebody to really open up,
- 3:19Speaker 1: and you can see that Sergio is the opposite, and
- 3:22Speaker 1: opposites attract, Like my husband always believes in the best
- 3:26Speaker 1: in everybody. I believe the worst and everybody and you know,
- 3:30Speaker 1: you say also like thinking about tamer and Eddie, they
- 3:33Speaker 1: have a very similar situation. So I mean, I think
- 3:36Speaker 1: we have to see all different types of relationships because
- 3:40Speaker 1: that's how we work. If we're all the same, we'd
- 3:41Speaker 1: all kill each other just because other people don't understand it.
- 3:45Speaker 1: And the thing is, you know, like again, it just
- 3:48Speaker 1: annoys me that I have to prove whether I have
- 3:50Speaker 1: sex with my husband. We've been together four years, and
- 3:53Speaker 1: do you think I got divorced so that I couldn't
- 3:56Speaker 1: have sex for the rest of my life? But I
- 3:58Speaker 1: do want to know why you guys call it uticky
- 4:01Speaker 1: because we call ours wicky wicky. Yes, because our old
- 4:07Speaker 1: when we didn't have we're kind of broke, our bed
- 4:10Speaker 1: would always go wick wick wick wick Wi. I love that. Yeah,
- 4:18Speaker 1: you think he's like easy way just to say, you know, yeah,
- 4:21Speaker 1: we definitely have sex. He's not gay and he has
- 4:24Speaker 1: gay friends like we all do. I love that. He's
- 4:27Speaker 1: a man's you know, he's a he's a guy that's
- 4:29Speaker 1: comfortable in his own skin. Why not. It's just sad
- 4:31Speaker 1: for the fact that Yes, sold my feelings and I
- 4:33Speaker 1: just literally I'm just romantic. I have to do jets. Yes,
- 4:37Speaker 1: you are ridiculously romantic. He is. He lives in a movie,
- 4:39Speaker 1: one of those old movies. He's like, it's just you know,
- 4:42Speaker 1: even like he's boring, even though I just want to
- 4:44Speaker 1: get well and we'll move on from that. I just
- 4:47Speaker 1: figured we'll get the worst. We'll get like the most
- 4:50Speaker 1: asked Instagram question out of the way at the beginning,
- 4:53Speaker 1: so then we can get to the fun stuff, like
- 4:55Speaker 1: the sex education you're going to teach me. Oh my god,
- 4:58Speaker 1: I'm getting out of it. I'm gonna okay. So I
- 5:05Speaker 1: was books afternoon till well, my producer just texted me
- 5:10Speaker 1: She's like, by the way he looks fire, please tell
- 5:13Speaker 1: him so compliments from her, um, But I mean, another
- 5:18Speaker 1: big thing that I need to know is how does
- 5:20Speaker 1: it feel essentially being a housewife. You are more talked
- 5:23Speaker 1: about this season and more featured than I would say
- 5:28Speaker 1: at least two of the housewives. I mean, to be honest,
- 5:32Speaker 1: it's been amazing ride. You know, very intense, but it's
- 5:35Speaker 1: been incredible because, you know, for me just to being
- 5:38Speaker 1: able to just share the whole experience with someone that
- 5:41Speaker 1: I love, with his Caroline and when it together is
- 5:43Speaker 1: it's amazing. Yeah, when you first started filming where you're nervous,
- 5:48Speaker 1: oh my god. The first the first day of filming,
- 5:51Speaker 1: they said, listen, come in this hour and then just
- 5:53Speaker 1: get at this hour and then just be yourself. And
- 5:55Speaker 1: I literally just get out. I didn't have toweling almost
- 5:59Speaker 1: and there were like three were coming out. I was
- 6:00Speaker 1: just he told me a while just to get used
- 6:03Speaker 1: to it. Well, my husband actually was watching because there
- 6:05Speaker 1: was like a scene where you didn't have your shirt on.
- 6:07Speaker 1: He's like, I am so irritated. They never let me
- 6:10Speaker 1: film without a shirt because like the mic pack or whatever.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know things are different, du buy,
- 6:16Speaker 1: I guess, let me put it in um and then
- 6:23Speaker 1: so you remember the first day, do you think that maybe,
- 6:26Speaker 1: like next season, you should actually be holding one of
- 6:28Speaker 1: the gold coins at the front. I mean yes, yes,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I oh my gosh, I love it. Okay, So from
- 6:42Speaker 1: your point of view, not not Caroline cannot chime in here?
- 6:46Speaker 1: How did you and Caroline meet? I thine we met?
- 6:52Speaker 1: So we were I wasn't in Newport, California. I lived
- 6:57Speaker 1: within three years, and he was doing um uh like
- 7:01Speaker 1: a life you know, stand up show, talking about like
- 7:05Speaker 1: you know, empowerment, empowerment women and all that stuff. And
- 7:08Speaker 1: I got invited there. Uh basically, I can't invite to
- 7:12Speaker 1: someone who was trying to, you know, to get to
- 7:17Speaker 1: know me, and I end up going there. I didn't
- 7:20Speaker 1: know what I was going, and that's how I met Caroline.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I met there. So much is trying to get to
- 7:25Speaker 1: know you. Do you mean like another check kind of yes,
- 7:32Speaker 1: so you are on a date when you met Caroline.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I mean I didn't know what I was going to
- 7:40Speaker 1: be honest. They invited me to this event and it
- 7:43Speaker 1: was five minutes from my house. I end up going.
- 7:45Speaker 1: My friend was there. Uh, you know, randomly, I was
- 7:50Speaker 1: literally back to work with Caroline on the VIP section
- 7:53Speaker 1: and we just started talking and it was just like
- 7:56Speaker 1: an amazing connection that we had since the beginning and
- 7:59Speaker 1: then had so you weren't living in Dubai. That happened later, Yeah,
- 8:03Speaker 1: happened later. That happened a year after, and now I
- 8:06Speaker 1: need to know. So we have absolutely no idea how
- 8:09Speaker 1: much money your dad would have paid you to not
- 8:11Speaker 1: marry Caroline. Now, I mean, it wasn't enough. It was, yeah,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I mean I definitely I don't think anything would be
- 8:18Speaker 1: enough because you know, all that, all that came out
- 8:24Speaker 1: like a very funny way. But basically my dad said
- 8:27Speaker 1: to me, I know you you know, because you know
- 8:31Speaker 1: I came up, you know, before I get to my dad,
- 8:33Speaker 1: you know, saying like, oh the oh my god, I
- 8:34Speaker 1: made this amazing woman. I mean, this amazing girl, you know,
- 8:37Speaker 1: but it was never kind of the right one. But
- 8:38Speaker 1: then this one, which is Caroline. I said that I
- 8:41Speaker 1: made this amazing and credible woman. She's a bit older
- 8:43Speaker 1: than me, but I think this is the right one.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And he didn't believe for me, and that's when he
- 8:48Speaker 1: said listened by September, I will give you a Saturday
- 8:53Speaker 1: like it him, like you're not gonna last. That's what
- 8:57Speaker 1: happened after we just ended up, you know, just make
- 9:00Speaker 1: happened and pro tip, just you know, instead of staying older,
- 9:05Speaker 1: I always learned the best way to say is you
- 9:07Speaker 1: can say more mature, because then it's you're not having
- 9:11Speaker 1: to stay older, like she's just sore mature. But have
- 9:15Speaker 1: you always been attracted to more mature women than yourself?
- 9:21Speaker 1: I have to say yes. But also because of so care,
- 9:24Speaker 1: because of the industry that's been all my life. I always,
- 9:27Speaker 1: you know, have been you know, involved in groups older
- 9:30Speaker 1: than me. So for me, when I make carolines, it
- 9:33Speaker 1: was kind of like my eight I didn't really see dates,
- 9:35Speaker 1: you know, since the beginning, so we just started it.
- 9:38Speaker 1: And for me, I was just dealing with someone you know,
- 9:41Speaker 1: completely on the same level as me. And that's why
- 9:43Speaker 1: I think we made it work because I just step
- 9:46Speaker 1: up a little bit. Even though I knew she was
- 9:48Speaker 1: eighteen years older than me. I was pretty four when
- 9:50Speaker 1: I met her, so am I. But I you know,
- 9:53Speaker 1: I pushed myself because I wanted to make it work.
- 9:56Speaker 1: So you know, that was the key. I think, well,
- 9:59Speaker 1: one of the things that I appreciate the most watching
- 10:02Speaker 1: is your relationship with your your step kids because you
- 10:08Speaker 1: can tell like they they have a report with you
- 10:11Speaker 1: where they feel comfortable to joke with you. And I
- 10:14Speaker 1: think that's so huge. That's what you can really see love.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Like anybody comparent, but when you see a kid that's
- 10:19Speaker 1: actually feel safe enough that they can joke with the
- 10:22Speaker 1: other person, like Caroline's daughter when she's talking to you,
- 10:26Speaker 1: or like I was, like, she is a breakout star.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I was crying laughing every time. But I really appreciate that.
- 10:32Speaker 1: How do you think that you built built that trust
- 10:35Speaker 1: in them, especially because you know, I mean to be honest,
- 10:39Speaker 1: it wasn't this since the beginning. He goes, you know,
- 10:42Speaker 1: the last thing I wanted was to break a family,
- 10:44Speaker 1: you know, and I was very clear with with Caroline
- 10:46Speaker 1: about this. So I was trying to make things, you know,
- 10:50Speaker 1: very slowly, the right of steps, and it was just
- 10:53Speaker 1: a bit complicated, you know, in the beginning, He goes,
- 10:55Speaker 1: you know, I didn't want the kids to see me
- 10:57Speaker 1: as a second that I was just I was very
- 11:00Speaker 1: clear with them. I was, you know, I'm just here,
- 11:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna support you here no matter what, and I'm
- 11:04Speaker 1: just a friend. You know, I want you to see
- 11:06Speaker 1: to see me as an older brother. H two of them,
- 11:11Speaker 1: what you know? Very it was very with two of them.
- 11:13Speaker 1: One of them it was a bit more complicated, you know,
- 11:16Speaker 1: because he was very at that stood car languages and
- 11:19Speaker 1: mom would I absolutely understand. Uh. It took me a
- 11:22Speaker 1: bit longer, but then it's just amazing because I to
- 11:25Speaker 1: be honest, I would never thought I was gonna be
- 11:27Speaker 1: in this position, and now everything is just it's just incredible.
- 11:31Speaker 1: You know, I love them as my kids and I
- 11:32Speaker 1: would I would do you know, anything for them. Yeah,
- 11:36Speaker 1: well you can definitely that that definitely translate on translates
- 11:40Speaker 1: on camera, and especially when you're filming with kids, that
- 11:43Speaker 1: can be difficult. I'm gonna have to ask you, do
- 11:56Speaker 1: you officially know what pre acclamps here means? Oh my god,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I want you to give me your definition, Like, honey, no,
- 12:10Speaker 1: you cannot call a friend. This isn't like whatever that
- 12:12Speaker 1: show is where you get to call in a friend. Now,
- 12:14Speaker 1: now you go with what you think it is. You know. Yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you know, he's gonna take your shirt off.
- 12:24Speaker 1: You know what I think it is. It's just in English,
- 12:28Speaker 1: he doesn't sound the same thing as pennies. So maybe
- 12:30Speaker 1: I know what it is, but I just don't know
- 12:32Speaker 1: in English pre acclaimsy, I just it sounds very complicated. Okay,
- 12:36Speaker 1: maybe that is the case, but maybe not. Just give
- 12:39Speaker 1: me like a three five seconds sound bite. Don't what
- 12:42Speaker 1: you think it may potentially be when women kind of
- 12:47Speaker 1: a baby? No, okay, I'm gonna give you the definition
- 12:51Speaker 1: so you can take this home with you. Let it resonate.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Pre acclaimsy is a complication of pregnancy with you clamsy.
- 13:00Speaker 1: You might have high blood pressure, high blood pressure, high
- 13:05Speaker 1: levels of protein in your urine that could indicate kidney
- 13:08Speaker 1: damage or other signs of oregon damage create clamsy. It
- 13:12Speaker 1: usually begins after twenty weeks of pregnancy, and women whose
- 13:16Speaker 1: blood pressure had previously been in a standard rage left
- 13:19Speaker 1: untreated pre a clamsy, it can lead to serious, even
- 13:23Speaker 1: fatal complications for both mother and baby. So it has
- 13:28Speaker 1: nothing to do with getting pregnant. But how it will
- 13:30Speaker 1: affect a woman wild pregnant. I okay, so now we've
- 13:37Speaker 1: got that. I feel like you're gonna nail it in
- 13:39Speaker 1: any other interview you're doing from here on out. Um,
- 13:43Speaker 1: next question, how are babies? If you're not doing IVF?
- 13:47Speaker 1: How do you think a baby is made? Actually, going
- 13:51Speaker 1: back to the left question, I know play is because
- 13:54Speaker 1: I just didn't get it, not like straight away. But
- 13:58Speaker 1: see how tammys use right on the last you know,
- 14:02Speaker 1: with Jetman and the less pregnancy, and I you know
- 14:05Speaker 1: she told me about it, you know, yea, But believe me.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I mean my husband was with me and the ivy,
- 14:12Speaker 1: like through all of my IVF treatments. He probably couldn't
- 14:15Speaker 1: explain it any better than than you do. And plus
- 14:18Speaker 1: there's a part of us that want our husbands to
- 14:21Speaker 1: understand every little detail. But then there's a part of
- 14:24Speaker 1: us that really I actually understood when Caroline goes, can
- 14:27Speaker 1: you walk away and leave? You like you're bugging because
- 14:30Speaker 1: like you're already stressed enough. They're making you hold dear
- 14:33Speaker 1: pe like you cannot go to the bathroom. They're like
- 14:36Speaker 1: digging around, and they're like so much is going on
- 14:38Speaker 1: that any distraction all you can think about when you're
- 14:42Speaker 1: like getting your eggs harviss like I want this to work,
- 14:45Speaker 1: Like I want this to work, and so I think
- 14:48Speaker 1: all of it is very relatable. When I see Caroline
- 14:52Speaker 1: on that, I stopped a little because I I don't
- 14:53Speaker 1: want her to go to police, you know, but I'm
- 14:56Speaker 1: portun option. And how did it make you feel when
- 14:59Speaker 1: you saw her say, if I'm not able to get pregnant,
- 15:04Speaker 1: I think he'll leave me. I could never leave her.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Come on, this is my is my other half, It's
- 15:11Speaker 1: my swulmate. You know, I would never He's my best friend.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I mean, I would love to build a bigger family
- 15:17Speaker 1: with her now we have now because I'm Latino and
- 15:22Speaker 1: I'm all of our family is the most important thing
- 15:24Speaker 1: for me. But if you know, the worst comes to
- 15:27Speaker 1: the wars and we cannot do it, you know, these
- 15:29Speaker 1: other ways always to you know, to have a baby,
- 15:32Speaker 1: you know. So I'm not worried, but I mean I
- 15:34Speaker 1: would love to have it. And I didn't really even know.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I had to do my own research that you can't
- 15:41Speaker 1: have a surrogate and dubai yeah exactly. Yeah, so that
- 15:46Speaker 1: really adds another dynamic to things because you know, in
- 15:50Speaker 1: the US you can and then you can. You can
- 15:53Speaker 1: even be with the surgeon, you can go to all
- 15:55Speaker 1: the doctor's appointments, you can do all the things in
- 15:57Speaker 1: the fact that that's not an option. Do you guys
- 16:01Speaker 1: know how many like boys you have versus girls. So
- 16:06Speaker 1: we have one little boy on ice which is healthy
- 16:09Speaker 1: and genetically right and ready to go. Uh. And then
- 16:14Speaker 1: we are gonna do one of around maybe next month,
- 16:18Speaker 1: to try to have another option. Yeah. And then would
- 16:22Speaker 1: would she put two in or one? I've done both,
- 16:25Speaker 1: So I've done multiple I've had it done do a
- 16:28Speaker 1: multiple times. But when I put you in, it didn't work.
- 16:31Speaker 1: When I put one in, it did. If you put
- 16:34Speaker 1: two in, you have the possibility of high in twins
- 16:37Speaker 1: correct or you have the possibility of one taking and whatnot. Okay,
- 16:44Speaker 1: but you're you're giving your it could but if you're
- 16:47Speaker 1: somebody who has free clamsy, that could add to having
- 16:51Speaker 1: even higher blood pins. And I'm not a doctor, this
- 16:54Speaker 1: is what I mean. Yeah, you understand. Yeah, But I
- 16:58Speaker 1: told her, honey, if after speaking to the doctor these
- 17:02Speaker 1: sences that you it can be dangerous for you. I
- 17:05Speaker 1: would never do that to you because I love you
- 17:07Speaker 1: so for me priorities you and your health. If that
- 17:12Speaker 1: doesn't work, let's see. Well that's nice to hear, especially
- 17:17Speaker 1: because when you're when you're watching one side. Then it's like,
- 17:21Speaker 1: uh so, now, but now you understand that a baby
- 17:26Speaker 1: can't be taken out halfway and moved to a new woman.
- 17:29Speaker 1: You got that part, you know the problem, you know,
- 17:36Speaker 1: like you don't really learn that the the technical part
- 17:40Speaker 1: of it, you know the practice. Everybody knows about it.
- 17:43Speaker 1: But normally you tickets again and you have the baby.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Then now you ticket take the baby stays there and
- 17:50Speaker 1: then someone take it out and then they give it
- 17:52Speaker 1: to you after and listen, you got it. Now you're
- 17:54Speaker 1: having a three years How is that post for someone
- 17:58Speaker 1: who doesn't know anything about how? I mean, I know
- 18:02Speaker 1: the basics, but I just don't know. Okay, So just
- 18:05Speaker 1: to give you a little backstory from tiki tikki, you
- 18:08Speaker 1: cannot then transfer. They have to put them, the doctors
- 18:14Speaker 1: have to put them together. That what happens from the
- 18:17Speaker 1: man's tiki tikki action and the girl's tiki tikki action
- 18:21Speaker 1: makes something and then they put that into somebody else.
- 18:24Speaker 1: It's not just like you have sex, you're good to go,
- 18:27Speaker 1: and then you can't when you when you spread out
- 18:32Speaker 1: the thirst, they go and they fly down to the
- 18:34Speaker 1: other side. That's where you learn. But no one tells
- 18:38Speaker 1: you a lot of stuff. Later. You know, well, my
- 18:40Speaker 1: husband is Colombian and his mom told him that, like
- 18:44Speaker 1: his his knowledge is so small. Like his mom told
- 18:48Speaker 1: him that if he masturbated ever, he would go blind.
- 18:51Speaker 1: So too. And then in the in the seventh grade,
- 18:57Speaker 1: he needed glasses and his mom was like, did it happen?
- 19:03Speaker 1: That's so good accidentally, but I was like, this is
- 19:06Speaker 1: like it's gotta be a you know, a thing. But
- 19:09Speaker 1: um so, next question, this is also a sexual education question.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Can you describe to us what an umbilical chord is for? Yeah,
- 19:22Speaker 1: umbilical cord, I think in a pan the cord bilical, Yes,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I think, yes, So the cord, I think the thing
- 19:31Speaker 1: that comes from your tomy out of the baby and
- 19:33Speaker 1: then when the baby comes, howd they cut it? Right?
- 19:35Speaker 1: But what does that cord do? What do you think that?
- 19:40Speaker 1: What do you think that job of that chord is
- 19:44Speaker 1: O feed the baby? Yes? Oh my god? All right,
- 19:52Speaker 1: so now we're gonna we're off of sex side because
- 19:55Speaker 1: you just got a point. So like you are, you're
- 19:58Speaker 1: winning all the things. Um now we're gonna get back
- 20:01Speaker 1: into housewives, which is if you had to play f
- 20:07Speaker 1: Mary kill with the other Dubai housewives besides Caroline, who
- 20:14Speaker 1: are you picking? Have you this game f is fu
- 20:18Speaker 1: c K. I can't say that because this is the
- 20:21Speaker 1: family show that you would have, that you would have
- 20:28Speaker 1: tikki tikki with a housewife that you would marry. And
- 20:31Speaker 1: how we don't have to say kill, we can say
- 20:34Speaker 1: never see again? Yes, okay? So who's who's who would
- 20:38Speaker 1: yours be? Yeah? Okay? You can't put Caroline for anything.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I had to play this with every franchise. It's very
- 20:47Speaker 1: difficult for me with some honey on hating me for
- 20:50Speaker 1: these sea house wife tik tiki. Yes if yes, I
- 20:59Speaker 1: couldn't know away of him he's Caroline, I would say
- 21:04Speaker 1: sat on money okay, all right, because that's because he
- 21:09Speaker 1: is closer at to my aids O the shade. Okay.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Then who would you marry beautiful? No? No, no, no,
- 21:23Speaker 1: who would you marry? I got Mary Nina? Nina? Okay?
- 21:30Speaker 1: So like you're picking like the nicer of the girls. Okay?
- 21:34Speaker 1: And then who would you be fine never seeing again?
- 21:39Speaker 1: A few of them? Maybe? Um? And then which husband
- 21:45Speaker 1: is your favorite husband from Dubai? Like you would if
- 21:48Speaker 1: you could go on a trip with him. Allow, I
- 21:50Speaker 1: was actually with him today, Mona. I absolutely love him.
- 21:53Speaker 1: He's amazing. Nina's husband. Nina's husband. Okay, And then how
- 21:58Speaker 1: did it really come about that you ended up on
- 22:00Speaker 1: that girl's trap? Did you feel like Caroline was upset
- 22:04Speaker 1: and you wanted to go be her night and shining Armor?
- 22:07Speaker 1: Were you gonna show up anyway just because you wanted
- 22:09Speaker 1: to be there because you knew that you were the
- 22:11Speaker 1: story of the show. I was no way. I was
- 22:15Speaker 1: been planning to have to be and I was just
- 22:17Speaker 1: talking to Carolina and I and she just he was crying.
- 22:19Speaker 1: He was so upset, and I just felt so bad
- 22:23Speaker 1: for her. I just I had to do it. Oh.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I literally just came at the end of the of
- 22:29Speaker 1: the tree just to pick her up, you know, but
- 22:31Speaker 1: just come in. But I just gotta get Sky and
- 22:33Speaker 1: I just came in a bit earlier, but you know,
- 22:36Speaker 1: I was just my idea was to come just to
- 22:37Speaker 1: pick Caroline and just take her home. And can you
- 22:39Speaker 1: give me a better idea of Dubai, Like from where
- 22:42Speaker 1: you guys live, how long does it take to get
- 22:44Speaker 1: to the location where they had that trip on the boat? Oh,
- 22:49Speaker 1: it's actually amazing. Because it feels like my leaves and
- 22:52Speaker 1: it's just forty five minutes to an hour from where
- 22:55Speaker 1: we actually live. Oh wow, because I see that you
- 22:58Speaker 1: guys go on all these incredible like you go on
- 23:02Speaker 1: all these labis vacations, are all these very places, and
- 23:04Speaker 1: they're all like research what they are, and I'm like, oh,
- 23:06Speaker 1: this is all kind of in the same area. Yeah,
- 23:10Speaker 1: that's the beauty of the bye that you can have
- 23:12Speaker 1: a bit of everything in the same city, you know,
- 23:14Speaker 1: I mean actually, which is a bit far, but even
- 23:18Speaker 1: just in the why if you go to the beach
- 23:20Speaker 1: anywhere in the palm, it's just beautiful here. The one
- 23:23Speaker 1: thing that I also learned last night when I was
- 23:25Speaker 1: watching was that the one thing that all the women
- 23:28Speaker 1: could agree on was the reason that they chose Dubai
- 23:31Speaker 1: was because of safety and help safe. Everybody feels it's incredible.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I cannot tell you it's for us, is like lifestyle
- 23:41Speaker 1: wise and security. You know, it's just one of the
- 23:44Speaker 1: best cities in the world, and I would say the
- 23:46Speaker 1: best city in the world. Well, because also didn't you
- 23:49Speaker 1: guys go somewhere and you were recently robbed, Yes, it was.
- 23:53Speaker 1: We went to we flew the baye to Mikonos, and
- 23:56Speaker 1: as soon as we land, within three hours, we got
- 23:59Speaker 1: robe and they took a with him. They pot from
- 24:01Speaker 1: the there was you know, it was a whole thing.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I was gonna say, you did they know who you were?
- 24:05Speaker 1: You think or who you guys were and tracked you
- 24:08Speaker 1: or tracked her Instagram or do you think it was
- 24:10Speaker 1: just really I think it was an inside job, you know,
- 24:14Speaker 1: because it was just very were we arrived in the island.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Then within three hours we arrived, get to the leave
- 24:20Speaker 1: the staff, go to dinner, and then we came back
- 24:22Speaker 1: and everything was gone, and the people were stairs in
- 24:24Speaker 1: the room on the top. I was I was shocked.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I was. And they said they didn't hear anything. Yeah, nothing,
- 24:32Speaker 1: Did you hear anything? Then nothing? And then Carol I
- 24:34Speaker 1: wanted to go in and go off stairs and I
- 24:37Speaker 1: was holding Caroline. Of course you did. I was. I
- 24:40Speaker 1: was peeing myself. I was so scared, My god, I
- 24:43Speaker 1: have to leave. I mean, I want to be the man.
- 24:46Speaker 1: And unfortunately it's kind of the money in the relationship.
- 24:49Speaker 1: So you know what I get that, I get that
- 24:52Speaker 1: um and then who on the show, it appears that
- 24:55Speaker 1: you take longer to get ready. Is that true? There's
- 25:00Speaker 1: no way. I deal already. I get a ready in
- 25:04Speaker 1: like five minutes. Caroline is like a whole thing. Well,
- 25:07Speaker 1: my husband, it's mainly he just he will wait till
- 25:10Speaker 1: the last minute it's time to go, and then he
- 25:12Speaker 1: starts getting ready. So then he's the one that makes
- 25:14Speaker 1: us late. I'm like, I may take longer, but you're
- 25:17Speaker 1: always freaking late, like always late, and it makes me nuts.
- 25:21Speaker 1: And then he's like, what why since dress? I mean,
- 25:24Speaker 1: I'm not late. Caroline is the one who is kind
- 25:26Speaker 1: of like always on the time, like right there. But
- 25:30Speaker 1: it's true that I I just love Caroline, so I
- 25:33Speaker 1: rely a lot on her. So I asked her a
- 25:35Speaker 1: lot of things. That's why in the show it looks
- 25:36Speaker 1: like I'm kind of like, honey, do you like this, honey, this, this, this, this,
- 25:40Speaker 1: you know, because I just I just I don't know,
- 25:43Speaker 1: I like her opinion. Yeah, Well, what was your favorite
- 25:46Speaker 1: memory from your wedding? Oh? My god, so many. I
- 25:50Speaker 1: mean a few of them, but I think one of
- 25:52Speaker 1: them because you know, we've been going to this place,
- 25:54Speaker 1: to the desert, uh where we have the pretty wedding
- 25:57Speaker 1: party maybe for the last three years since we met,
- 26:00Speaker 1: and we always dream about having this like walk you
- 26:04Speaker 1: know on the stairs together with the music, the friends,
- 26:06Speaker 1: So that wasn't a body special moment because we kind
- 26:08Speaker 1: of like be sliced since the beginning. And then also
- 26:12Speaker 1: just the father there's been in Bruffels, the palm, in
- 26:15Speaker 1: the hotel, you know, seeing our families and everybody, you know,
- 26:19Speaker 1: everything and white. It was just so special, like sometimes
- 26:23Speaker 1: we think about it and it was just wow, everything
- 26:25Speaker 1: just went so perfect, you know, I wouldn't think anything.
- 26:28Speaker 1: And so many apps and now because it was COVID,
- 26:30Speaker 1: it was quite complicated. You know, some guests couldn't make it,
- 26:35Speaker 1: but at the end it was it was beautiful. And
- 26:37Speaker 1: then how do you think that your families, I mean,
- 26:40Speaker 1: obviously they have some differences, but it really did seem
- 26:45Speaker 1: that they appreciated each other. How do you think that
- 26:48Speaker 1: your parents actually hundrevers and the appertity each other they
- 26:52Speaker 1: you know, the competition was so much fluent that what
- 26:55Speaker 1: he shows in the show. It was my father worked
- 26:59Speaker 1: in you know, in an American company. He you know,
- 27:02Speaker 1: he actually speaks like amazing English. My mom as well.
- 27:05Speaker 1: It was just kind of like weird in the show
- 27:06Speaker 1: but they really, you know, appreciate each other and they
- 27:10Speaker 1: you know, they gotta go amazing. How is it working
- 27:23Speaker 1: with your wife? Because I when I first met my
- 27:27Speaker 1: husband and I wrote horses for a living, and then
- 27:30Speaker 1: I got pregnant. I wasn't able to do that anymore,
- 27:33Speaker 1: and I started like helping him with work stuff. I
- 27:35Speaker 1: maybe made it like I don't know, six weeks and
- 27:38Speaker 1: then I was like, I prob, you will no longer
- 27:41Speaker 1: be living if we continue doing this, Like I need
- 27:43Speaker 1: to figure out something else. So like, how is that
- 27:46Speaker 1: and how do you deal with it when it starts
- 27:48Speaker 1: to bubble over? I mean, to be honest, I think
- 27:51Speaker 1: because I'm younger, and I kind of since the beginning,
- 27:54Speaker 1: I kind of decided to join the cow I extumbled train. Yes,
- 27:58Speaker 1: you know, like I decided to, Okay, let's just do
- 28:00Speaker 1: this together because I think together we can be stronger
- 28:03Speaker 1: and let's just build it together. Ah. So I think,
- 28:06Speaker 1: you know, for me, it's it's kind of like, you know,
- 28:08Speaker 1: I look up to her a load, so I listened
- 28:10Speaker 1: to her a load. So I take her advices a lot,
- 28:12Speaker 1: but I run, you know, kind of all the social
- 28:14Speaker 1: media stuff and all the marketing. I you know, I
- 28:17Speaker 1: move her with the whole team downstairs and everything, so
- 28:19Speaker 1: you know, we do together. Sometimes it's true that I
- 28:22Speaker 1: just have to. Let's we just you know, fight and
- 28:24Speaker 1: I just have to you know, but I learned how
- 28:26Speaker 1: to do it. Just leave her alone, you know, and
- 28:28Speaker 1: come back later. Okay, So what what's your fighting style? Like?
- 28:31Speaker 1: Are you you get quiet and you sunk or you
- 28:34Speaker 1: a like you say something that you regret or do
- 28:37Speaker 1: you need to talk it out before you got to sleep.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I have to talk. If not, it will never I
- 28:43Speaker 1: will literally die. You know. We just see goals all out.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Sounds like a sponge. I just get everything and then
- 28:49Speaker 1: sometimes I explode. But normally, you know, in general, we
- 28:51Speaker 1: just get it and just be quiet and leave and
- 28:54Speaker 1: then come back later. Yeah, and then you make sure
- 28:57Speaker 1: that but you can't go to bed angry. We're sad. No,
- 29:00Speaker 1: that's that's not I can't either. It like eats me alive,
- 29:04Speaker 1: like I if I feel like there's something going, like
- 29:06Speaker 1: if we fall asleep, and like we can't even like
- 29:08Speaker 1: touch hands before we got a battle again we have
- 29:13Speaker 1: when we go to wed we put the feet together,
- 29:15Speaker 1: you know, likedies and we have to do that because
- 29:16Speaker 1: that means like peace, that means that lacks you know,
- 29:19Speaker 1: if we do that, it means that everything is good. Yeah,
- 29:22Speaker 1: that makes sense. Um, And you just got back from
- 29:24Speaker 1: a two month honeymoon. What's the next trip for y'all?
- 29:29Speaker 1: That was crazy? I'm actually we just thinking here. I'm
- 29:32Speaker 1: actually going back to Bali for business and stuff and
- 29:35Speaker 1: I'm going alone just for two days and then coming
- 29:38Speaker 1: back here and then we're gonna go to New York
- 29:40Speaker 1: to Bravo corn Oh fun, Well, I like that. And
- 29:47Speaker 1: then can you set the record straight on your soccer career?
- 29:51Speaker 1: Mm hmm, all right, explain it to me like I
- 29:54Speaker 1: don't know anything about soccer because I don't. My son
- 29:57Speaker 1: plays football, like actual football, not soccer. That's so basically.
- 30:03Speaker 1: I am from Spain, Madrid. I started when I was
- 30:07Speaker 1: five years old playing for a small team in my town,
- 30:11Speaker 1: and then slowly I got a queer by Nike. I
- 30:14Speaker 1: started traveling with Nike, and then after that I got
- 30:17Speaker 1: realmari called me when I was fourteen thirteen, fourteen years old.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I was sorry, thirteen two fourteen years old. Real Marie
- 30:24Speaker 1: called me. I became professional at the age of fifteen.
- 30:30Speaker 1: You can become a professional active team. Yeah. So then
- 30:34Speaker 1: a professional contract for five years with Marria fifteen and
- 30:37Speaker 1: kind of my life you know, changed completely because I
- 30:39Speaker 1: have to leave the normal school. I went to like
- 30:41Speaker 1: a different school. Uh. And then you know I played
- 30:45Speaker 1: for them, Uh almost six and a half years. I had,
- 30:51Speaker 1: you know, a five years contract and an omber three
- 30:52Speaker 1: years contract, but I broke the last contract because I
- 30:55Speaker 1: was not playing because I was on the bench, uh them.
- 31:00Speaker 1: From there, I moved to the US. I end up
- 31:01Speaker 1: playing in New York and then transfer to Los Angeles. Okay,
- 31:06Speaker 1: so you broke the contract because you you were still
- 31:08Speaker 1: being paid to play, but you weren't actually being put
- 31:12Speaker 1: on the field. So you're like, yeah, so if you're
- 31:15Speaker 1: a soccer player, I think any sport, Yeah, if you
- 31:19Speaker 1: have a contract for a professional team, they no matter
- 31:22Speaker 1: what you do, nor whether if they pay you no money,
- 31:24Speaker 1: if you broke a lego anything, they have to pay you.
- 31:27Speaker 1: So I was getting paid, Caroline. You know, seem my contract.
- 31:31Speaker 1: You know, I don't want to solve but you know
- 31:33Speaker 1: I have a Contractum. But you know, I started very
- 31:38Speaker 1: early stage in my life to play soccer and to
- 31:41Speaker 1: it becomes a full time yob you know, and basically
- 31:43Speaker 1: it's all you do. So I didn't really have any childhood.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So that's why when I was twenty three twenty four,
- 31:49Speaker 1: I was ready to change kind of you know, and
- 31:51Speaker 1: turned into a different life. But at the same time
- 31:53Speaker 1: I was always playing soccer. I got my international business degree,
- 31:56Speaker 1: I got my NBA Media and Communication and the etal marketing,
- 32:00Speaker 1: and then that's why that allowed me to change into
- 32:03Speaker 1: the business side of you know, of of of you know,
- 32:07Speaker 1: of the of life. Basically, yes, you're a worker. No, listen,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I had so many I mean, I would have to
- 32:13Speaker 1: talk about this because it's like a whole thing, but
- 32:15Speaker 1: you know, I I would never forget it. When I
- 32:17Speaker 1: was sixteen, my coach called me. He brought them into
- 32:21Speaker 1: the office and he said to me, listen, I see
- 32:23Speaker 1: that you have different priorities in life. Um, you know
- 32:27Speaker 1: that you have your modeling because I was doing modeling
- 32:29Speaker 1: at that time. You are studying, you are going to university,
- 32:33Speaker 1: et cetera, and you are playing soccer. So for me,
- 32:37Speaker 1: I had two options or soccer or the construction, and
- 32:40Speaker 1: I chose soccer. You because you have so many possibilities,
- 32:43Speaker 1: you aren't gonna play any menal with me. So because
- 32:45Speaker 1: of him, basically he kind of like me a little bit.
- 32:47Speaker 1: My career because of that, because he bends me. And
- 32:51Speaker 1: he was just yellows of because I was coming from
- 32:54Speaker 1: a good family, you know, think that I have, you know,
- 32:56Speaker 1: a normal you know, like worker family, you know, but
- 33:00Speaker 1: the realities that in soccer, the you know, it's the
- 33:05Speaker 1: life like well it's just very very low class people,
- 33:07Speaker 1: you know, and that's sad, but it's just like that,
- 33:10Speaker 1: you know, because I was coming from a good family
- 33:11Speaker 1: with possibilities that kind of like you know translated, it
- 33:16Speaker 1: ruined my career. And if you had if you guys
- 33:20Speaker 1: had a son, if you if your son, that is honest,
- 33:23Speaker 1: we can, would you have them play soccer? If you
- 33:26Speaker 1: loved it? Would you would you like being one of
- 33:28Speaker 1: those dads outside like or would you be like looking
- 33:32Speaker 1: to Yeah, socre was amazing for me and um who
- 33:37Speaker 1: I am because of soccer. But also it was very
- 33:40Speaker 1: hard for me, you know because you know, I cry
- 33:42Speaker 1: a lot. It was very tough. You know, when I
- 33:44Speaker 1: was here after leaving soccer, I had one year and
- 33:48Speaker 1: a half that I couldn't watch or feel aball, you know,
- 33:51Speaker 1: I couldn't watch any oka. It was. It was very
- 33:53Speaker 1: hard for me. Even now, I still you know, I
- 33:55Speaker 1: cannot do it. So I don't know if I would
- 33:57Speaker 1: put my son into that professional a little maybe he
- 34:01Speaker 1: will play, but I don't know. He's very top because
- 34:04Speaker 1: he left that thing here in my heart. You know.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I have the same thing with with riding horses, and
- 34:09Speaker 1: I can't do it. I can't do it half in
- 34:12Speaker 1: half out. People say, you know you're a professional for
- 34:15Speaker 1: so long, why don't you do anymore? And I'm like,
- 34:17Speaker 1: because I can't half asset, Like I either need to
- 34:19Speaker 1: like be all in and all my time and be
- 34:22Speaker 1: one of the best, or just not do it and
- 34:25Speaker 1: route my daughter on like, but I can't. It's hard
- 34:27Speaker 1: for me to do it a little bit and not
- 34:29Speaker 1: be very good at it. And then you're like, oh,
- 34:32Speaker 1: what am I doing not with my thing? When I
- 34:35Speaker 1: when I finished round, I would like, listen, I want
- 34:38Speaker 1: to be I want to be a businessman work because
- 34:43Speaker 1: it was just no, my my, my, my route, and
- 34:46Speaker 1: I took the business side. You know, I think that
- 34:49Speaker 1: makes sense. And I'm gonna leave you with one final question.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Do you have any the most what was the most
- 34:55Speaker 1: positive thing from your first season of filming on the
- 34:58Speaker 1: Real House Lives of Dubai and do you have any regrets?
- 35:02Speaker 1: The most positive thing it was getting to know all
- 35:06Speaker 1: this amazing women in the show, all the people arounder
- 35:10Speaker 1: the other queue. It was just such an amazing experience.
- 35:12Speaker 1: You know, you're having everybody in the house is for me.
- 35:15Speaker 1: It's a once in a lifetime life experience. And you know,
- 35:18Speaker 1: to be honest, I don'nderget anything, you know, and I'm
- 35:21Speaker 1: so happy and I tell Carol all the time that
- 35:23Speaker 1: we are able to do it together, which is incredible.
- 35:26Speaker 1: You know, that's huge. Any regrets like it? It's maybe
- 35:34Speaker 1: no knowing not that many things about babies and people
- 35:40Speaker 1: are going into it. Uh, well, you know what, You're
- 35:44Speaker 1: a good sport, so we um. We appreciate you so
- 35:48Speaker 1: much for coming on and letting us tease you, and
- 35:51Speaker 1: we wish we could give you a big hug because
- 35:54Speaker 1: you know, we watched last night and we were like,
- 35:57Speaker 1: like that whole first segment was about you. So we
- 35:59Speaker 1: are looking forward to continue watching the reunion. Hopefully we'll
- 36:02Speaker 1: see you. I know we can't. You can't tell us,
- 36:04Speaker 1: but we'll keep tuning in. Okay, thank you so much
- 36:07Speaker 1: for having thanks for coming on by him,
