- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. In the history of bad ideas, I don't
- 0:07know if there's ever been an ideal worse than Glanne
- 0:10Maxwell getting a pardon. Now. I used to think that
- 0:15Donald Trump wouldn't be so stupid, but now I don't know.
- 0:20In fact, I'm leaning towards Donald Trump. Gibven Galan Maxwell
- 0:23that pardon at some point, probably when he's leaving office
- 0:27as one last FU to the Epstein survivors. But I
- 0:32think that the likelihood of that happening is pretty good,
- 0:37especially considering Donald Trump is out here calling it a hoax,
- 0:41saying it's all just a bunch of bs, and we
- 0:44all know that he used to be friends with Glaane Maxwell,
- 0:47with Jeffrey Epstein. Is he looking to throw his friend
- 0:50a little bone, no pun intended, and try to help
- 0:54himself At the same time, She's already been moved, and
- 0:59that move itself goes against every single protocol that it's
- 1:03on the books for the BOP. So we've already had
- 1:07that and nothing came of it. Nobody's even talking about
- 1:10it anymore, like it's no big deal. Ah, You know what,
- 1:15Glenn Maxwell was moved for no reason, no good reason,
- 1:20and it went against every single precedent and protocol that's
- 1:23on the books. No hearings about that. We're not gonna
- 1:28subpoena whoever's in charge of the Goop, whoever's in charge
- 1:31of Tallahassee, who's ever in charge of Camp Brian, to
- 1:34get to the bottom of it. The truth is they
- 1:36don't want to get to the bottom of it. The
- 1:38truth is it's all a hustle. And the truth is
- 1:42Glainne Maxwell belongs under the prison, not sitting in some
- 1:46camp eating Chick fil A talking about a pardon. Today's
- 1:50article is from The Independent, and the headline Glen Maxwell's
- 1:53lawyer thinks Trump will partner for Epstein related crimes. There's
- 1:57a good chance. This article was authored by Brendan Rassius
- 2:03Gahlenn Maxwell's lawyer believes Donald Trump is likely to pardon
- 2:07the convicted sex trafficker and longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein.
- 2:11According to a newer report, I mean, at this point,
- 2:14what would it matter at least for Donald Trump's reputation.
- 2:17I mean, not like it's gonna be any worse for him.
- 2:20All the people that support him will just show up
- 2:23and have all kinds of explanations for his behavior. Gleainne's
- 2:26part of the plan. The storm's coming. She was working
- 2:29on the inside to take Epstein down with the circacle
- 2:31of mar A Lago. You know the dumb shit they say,
- 2:35And that's what they'll do. They'll just move the goalposts,
- 2:37they'll gaslight people, and then the people that want to believe,
- 2:41you know, that Donald Trump's this hero, they're just gonna
- 2:44believe it anyway. But the truth is Donald Trump is
- 2:47responsible for this whole cover up. He's the one in charge.
- 2:51And I think that considering all of that, and considering
- 2:54the way he's been very vocal about this in public.
- 2:57I mean, he told the DOJ to target his enemies
- 3:01that were friendly with Epstein. He's literally giving the game away.
- 3:06So do you really think that he wouldn't go so
- 3:08far as pardoning Glaine Maxwell. I have to reevaluate my
- 3:13whole entire opinion on it, because I don't think Donald
- 3:15Trump cares any more about the optics when it comes
- 3:17to Epstein, So why would he care about Gallaine Maxwell
- 3:21going free? He thinks it's all a hoax. I don't
- 3:25know what the percentages are David Oscar Marcus, Maxwell's attorney.
- 3:28He told Politico there's a good chance, and for a
- 3:31good reason, that she would get a pardon. Oh yeah,
- 3:34real good reason. Maybe we should go into the transcripts
- 3:38and read word for word what the survivors had to
- 3:41say about Gallainne Maxwell at the trial. You know, when
- 3:45Caroline was testifying or when Annie was testifying. Those transcripts
- 3:49are available for anyone to see. But sure, Glaine Maxwell
- 3:54is being done wrong. Glainne Maxwell is a scapegoat. Take
- 3:58that shit and bring it with you all the way
- 4:01to the next Moon launch, because I don't want to
- 4:03hear it. Marcus described his client as a scapegoat who
- 4:07never would have been prosecuted if Epstein had not died
- 4:10by suicide while in prison in twenty nineteen. How do
- 4:14we know he died by suicide, Haley Fuchs, You've done
- 4:17enough of these articles to know not to use that
- 4:19kind of language. But he said he has not yet
- 4:23spoken to the White House about a potential pardon, and
- 4:26suggested she will need to be patient. Yeah, until the
- 4:29end of the term. Come on, Oscar. David Marcus is
- 4:33another one. He thinks he's slick. He thinks he's cute,
- 4:37but really his narrative's bullshit, and everything he says about
- 4:41his client, Golian Maxwell is garbage. Your client convicted sex
- 4:45trafficker and child abuserr bro, That's what she is. You
- 4:49can try and change the narrative all you want, but
- 4:52the facts are what the facts are. Maxwell obviously wants clemency.
- 4:59He said, there's no secret about that. I don't think
- 5:02now is the best time to do it with everything
- 5:04going on. Yeah, wait till things calm down. Is that
- 5:07what you're saying? So that they can do it undercover
- 5:09one day when you know, I don't know, someone launches
- 5:12a tactical nuke the next day, Golian Maxwell get the
- 5:15pardon because they'll have the cover they need. And I'm
- 5:18only being half facetious when I say that. Then there's
- 5:22the other theory that I have that Trump just doesn't
- 5:25care and he'll just do it and then tell you
- 5:27to go get fucked. He already called you a trader.
- 5:30He already said he doesn't want your vote if you
- 5:32think Epstein's rew, So what does he care. It's not
- 5:35like mag is going to bounce on him over Epstein.
- 5:39In fact, they're tightening the ranks. Trump previously said he's
- 5:44not given a much thought to the possibility of granting
- 5:46Maxwell clemency, but he has not ruled it out. Late
- 5:49last year, he told reporters he would speak to the
- 5:52DOJ about it. The idea has been floated as Epstein
- 5:55and his crimes continue to grab the nation's attention. Some
- 5:59have suggested a pardon for Maxwell so she can detail
- 6:02other people allegedly involved in Epstein's crimes. Oh, give me
- 6:06a break, Give me a break. Tell me you don't
- 6:08know how trials work without telling me. Glenn Maxwell is
- 6:12a destroyed witness. Nothing she says can be taken seriously.
- 6:16She's already been charged with perjury twice and she would
- 6:19have been convicted, but they ended up dropping it as
- 6:22part of her deal when she got convicted on the
- 6:25other crimes. So please stop the bs. Can you imagine
- 6:29Glenn Maxwell getting on the witness stand and Mark Agnefilo
- 6:33launching questions at her, cross examining her, or maybe Tenny
- 6:37Garrigos or maybe Alan Jackson. How do you think that's
- 6:40going to end up? A White House spokesperson referred to
- 6:46the Independent to the President's previous comments as well as
- 6:49remarks from Press Secretary Caroline Levitt during which she said
- 6:53that Trump was not considering a pardon for Maxwell. A
- 6:57number of lawmakers, particularly Democrats, have express strong opposition to
- 7:01the notion of granting Maxwell any form of reprieve. Look,
- 7:05any human being who has looked at any of the
- 7:07evidence should feel that same way. Anybody talking about Glane
- 7:11Maxwell getting a pardon is mentally disturbed. Representative Robert Garcia,
- 7:18a California Democrat, told Politico that pardoning Maxwell would be
- 7:22disgusting and outrageous, noting that she helped Jeffrey Epstein traffic
- 7:26young women and girls. The brother of Virginia roberts In,
- 7:30Epstein's survivor, who died last year, told MEC News in
- 7:33September that a pardon would be the biggest slap in
- 7:36the face for us as a family and to these girls. Oh,
- 7:40it would be bad news. I have to tell you,
- 7:42it would really be bad. There's a lot of people
- 7:46that would traumatize, like you would not believe, a lot
- 7:48of people would be very scared. Well, you think Glaine
- 7:51Maxwell is not going to show up with a grudge,
- 7:53She most certainly would, and with all the money she
- 7:56has and all the people she knows could get real
- 7:58dangerous for people. I don't think twenty years is enough,
- 8:05he added, I think that people that are able to
- 8:08put that kind of evil out into the world should
- 8:10be locked away forever. Look, I agree, and that's why
- 8:14I wanted this to be Rico. She would have got
- 8:16hit with money laundering, wire fraud, you name it, and
- 8:20she would have ended up in prison for the rest
- 8:22of her life. The Epstein scandal has dominated headlines like
- 8:28few other stories, and haunted the Trump administration for months.
- 8:33Last year, at Congress past the Epstein Files Transparency Act,
- 8:37requiring the Department of Justice to release all its documents
- 8:40on Epstein. Although the Department missed the laws deadline, it
- 8:44has since published millions of pages, many of which mentioned
- 8:47Trump and other prominent figures. The House Oversight Committee is
- 8:51now probing Epstein's network and has interviewed several individuals, including
- 8:56former President Bill Clinton and Alio billionaire Less Wexner, who
- 9:00had close ties to Epstein. An appearance in the files
- 9:04does not mean wrongdoing, and many people, including Trump, have
- 9:07said that they had nothing to do with Epstein's crimes.
- 9:11Maxwell's lies are at the heart of the controversy. In
- 9:17twenty twenty two, she was convicted on multiple sex crime charges,
- 9:20including sex trafficking of a minor, making her the only
- 9:23Epstein co conspirator to be tried and found guilty. She
- 9:27was sentenced to twenty years in prison and has maintained
- 9:30her innocence. Last October, Supreme Court denied her appeal seeking
- 9:35a review of whether prosecutors had fairly brought the case
- 9:38against her. That decision left the White House as her
- 9:41only remaining path to getting out of prison. And you
- 9:45see why she reacted the way she did, and you
- 9:47see why she answered the questions that Blanche was asking
- 9:50her the way she did. And Todd Blanche bro should
- 9:55be ashamed of himself. Imagine being a law man and
- 9:58softball and Glanne mac like that. It is absurd. I
- 10:03don't think I've ever seen anything in the realm of
- 10:05depositions or interviews that even comes close to how softball
- 10:09that was. While serving out her sentence in Florida, she
- 10:18took part in a lengthy interview with then Deputy Attorney
- 10:21General Todd Blanche, the president's former attorney. During their sit down,
- 10:25Maxwell said she never saw Trump engage in any kind
- 10:29of inappropriate behavior. And while that might be the case,
- 10:32the cover up that's going on is certainly inappropriate, and
- 10:36its behavior that Trump is engaging in, and at some
- 10:41point that's going to be the focus. Shortly afterwards, she
- 10:47was moved to a minimum security prison in Texas, a
- 10:50transfer that Trump said he knew nothing about. Yeah, no idea.
- 10:53Everybody just does whatever they want in the Trump administration
- 10:57and Donald Trump has no say, so is that really
- 11:00what he's saying. In February, Maxwell invoked her Fifth Amendment
- 11:07right and refused to answer questions during a virtual appearance
- 11:10before the House Oversight Committee. At the time, Marcus said
- 11:14his clients prepared to speak fully and honestly if granted
- 11:17clemency by President Trump. Well, she doesn't have an honest
- 11:21bone in her body, so I don't believe anything she's
- 11:23saying anyway, And if she had anything of substance to
- 11:26give up, she would have gave it up previously. But
- 11:29as far as Trump giving her a pardon, I would
- 11:32say it's about twenty five percent that he does, maybe
- 11:36even closer to fifty because if Trump says that this
- 11:39is the hoax, then he probably thinks that Calne Maxwell
- 11:42is being wrongly accused and wrongly imprisoned, and of course
- 11:45Trump might see that as a you know, another reason,
- 11:49another way to dunk on the Libs. So he might
- 11:53do it just out of spite and under normal circumstances
- 11:57with normal people, I would never even believe that, But
- 12:00I think Donald Trump has shown us just how spiteful
- 12:03he can be, so I have no doubt that he'd
- 12:07have no problem pardning Glenn Maxwell and ignoring all the
- 12:10criticism that he ends up getting. He'll just call that
- 12:13a hoax too. But the real hoax here is the
- 12:16one that Donald Trump performed on people that believed them
- 12:18when he said that he cared about the Epstein files,
- 12:21that he cared about the survivors, and that there was
- 12:23going to be transparency. But instead we got the shit
- 12:26show that we're living through now. And considering all of that,
- 12:30I don't find the proposition of Donald Trump partnering Glenn
- 12:33Maxwell to be that insane. In fact, as the days
- 12:36go by, I find it to be more likely. All
- 12:41the information that goes with this episode can be found
