Transcript
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Hi everyone.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to another episode of Crushing Strongholds.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Today we talk about turning pain into power, trauma into triumph, and a place where we can expose the lives of the enemy.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: And how do we do that?
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: We do that by equipping believers and teaching the word and the truth of Jesus Christ through his faith and his grace and the resurrection and what Jesus Christ did for us.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: We like to expose the lives of the enemy.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: That's what crushing strongholds is all about.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: It's about taking strongholds that we encounter every single day and just crushing them so that we can live up to God's purpose for our life.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: So a lot of people may wonder what that what that is and what that looks like.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: Well, we're going to dive into that a little bit more today.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: My name is Mickey.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: I'm a Christian life coach and I'm your host today.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: And welcome to my living room.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: I'm not in my my original studio, and um I was having some technical difficulties, and so I had to um move over to the couch.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: So we are in the comfort of my home today.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: So welcome, welcome.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: And this is live.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: So if you hear any background noise, it's um my dogs might bark, uh, the washing machine might turn off, uh, the dryer might ding.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Um hopefully we don't have too many distractions, but um, either way, we're gonna get through it, we're gonna get on with it.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Um, that's my grandmother in the background.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: She's kind of got a little bit of a dry throat, and she's kind of eating, so she she kind of does that when she eats coughs.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: So, anyhow, I am trying to get through this lesson today, and I really, really don't want to put it off any longer.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: So I am just going to hope that you will bear with it, with me, with it, and um follow me and stick with this today.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: I want to do part two of um what I started last week, and I started talking about lukewarm Christianity and what that looks like.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: You know, I was talking about Revelations where it says that we're not to be hot or cold.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: God would prefer us to be either one way or the other.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: We're not to be in the middle.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: We're we we we need to decide.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: Are we gonna be hot or are we gonna be cold?
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Um, and if we're somewhere in the middle, then God would just rather spit us out.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: If we can't make up our mind, you know, it he doesn't want to be toyed with.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Um, he would rather us just not be a Christian at all than to be a phony one, or to pretend to be one, or be one one minute and not be one the next minute, okay?
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Or just to be a full um head-on, full blown-out Christian.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Um, he would rather us be that way than to be a phony Christian as well.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: And when we're talking about Christianity, we have to um, if we're gonna claim to be a Christian, then we need to make sure that we are doing our part in that.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: So today I want to dive into um a story about Peter.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Some of you probably already know the story and you're familiar with it, where Peter um is walking with Jesus and um the soldiers to the high priest's home in the courtyard because Jesus is just now getting arrested before they, you know, before they take him to the cross.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: So he's getting arrested, okay?
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Judas told them where he was at in the wilderness, they went and got him, and now they're taking him to the courtyard.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Well, they get to the gates of the courtyard, and a girl recognizes Peter, and she said, Hey, aren't you one of Jesus' disciples?
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: And Peter says, No, I'm not.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Peter denies denies the name of Jesus three times.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: And Jesus already told Peter that he was going to do this, and he kept saying, No, Lord, I would not ever betray you.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: I would never deny you.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: I would never do this.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: I would never, never, never, never.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: And sure enough, out of fear, he did it.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: He didn't want to be recognized as a disciple because they were hauling Jesus off to jail, and they um put fear in him because it was terrifying for Peter to watch what Jesus was going through, and he didn't want to have to go through the same suffering.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: So it kind of makes sense that he was like just terrified into denying Jesus, and Jesus already knew his heart, Jesus already knew he was going to do it.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: So I find it really, really interesting that he does it.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: But here's the kicker, okay?
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Not only did um um Peter deny Jesus, but he also he he felt a really strong sense of um conviction, and he wept and he cried and he, you know, and he he he sought out forgiveness.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: And guess what Jesus did?
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Jesus forgave Peter.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: You know, he forgave him.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: And um he he's you know he knew that he Jesus already knew, like Jesus literally already knew that he was gonna do this, okay?
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Um, like we like I said.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: Now, the the crazy thing is that I want to get to here real quick.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Hold on a second, is that um what does Jesus do?
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: What does Jesus do?
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Does Jesus just turn him away and say, you know, you know, I already called it.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: I knew you were gonna, I knew you were gonna deny me, you denied me, and um we're through.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: You know, our relationship is now ended.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: Jesus didn't do that, Jesus forgave him.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: And not only did he he forgive him, but he made him leadership over the church.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: And so he even rewarded him.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: So Jesus is the type of person that's going to forgive you even if you make mistakes.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: And ask Christians where you're going to make mistakes.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Peter was a Christian, he was a follower of Christ.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: That's what a Christian is: someone that follows after Christ.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: He wanted to know what Christ was like.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: He went everywhere with Jesus, he watched everything Jesus did, he seen the miracles, um, he stood by his side, he had had many conversations with him, I'm sure.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: And um probably just that overwhelming Holy Spirit.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: I mean, could you just imagine walking around with Jesus?
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: I mean, I would love to just walk around with Jesus, you know.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: So many questions I would ask him.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: But he had a sense and a love for Jesus, but yet he still denied him.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: He still denied him.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: See, this topic of discussion today is called don't deny Jesus.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: We are not to deny Jesus, okay?
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: So for myself, I can only honestly say that if someone were to ask me, um, that's my dog, by the way, if someone were to ask me if I believe in Jesus, I would say yes.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: I would not deny Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: I would not deny him.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: Now, the way I have denied Jesus Christ is by not acting like a Christian.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: People did not see Christ in me, on me, or around me because of the places that I was at and the way I behaved, the things that I did, and the sin that I put myself into and the sin that I allowed myself to do.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: So, because of that, if I were to tell someone I was a Christian, people would actually question me.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: They would question my Christianity.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: How are you a Christian if you're doing X, Y, and Z?
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: If you're sleeping with men outside of marriage, how is that a Christian?
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: That's not what a Christian is supposed to do.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: And so a lot of times we do these things, we sin.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: But see, here's the thing: Jesus went to the cross and he died for our sins so that we can get free from all of that.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: And no, it's not a ticket.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: It's not a free ticket.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: I want to share a little story with you, real quick, that I think is really important.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: The 16-year-old boy went on social media and he said that um he was really struggling with how to become a true Christian.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: And he said he would pray, and he would pray because he'd want to follow Christ, but yet he would fall short.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: He failed all the time.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: He kept falling back into sin.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: He was having trouble with lust, pornography, um, anger issues, drug addiction, alcohol.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: He was having these issues that he just could not seem to quit doing.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: Although his heart was his heart's desire was to follow after Christ, but he kept falling back, kept falling back into sin, falling back into sin.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: And he said, I feel like I'm taking advantage of Jesus by asking for forgiveness and then turn around and doing it again, and again, and again, and again.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: Here's the good thing is he was getting convicted and recognizing it, but here's the bad thing.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: He decided to stop seeking Jesus because he felt like he couldn't get away from his sin and he didn't want to displease Jesus, he didn't want to keep on using Jesus as a merit to go out and sin.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: And so he quit seeking him.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: And I want to encourage you that if that's you today, the best way you're gonna overcome your sin, because we are all sinners, you're not sinless.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: It's impossible for you to be 100% sinless, okay?
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: We are all going to sin, clear up to the day that we die, okay?
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Nobody's perfect, but here's the thing: when you accept Jesus Christ, Jesus is perfect, Jesus is perfect, and when you accept him into your heart, you get to claim the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ because that blood, that blood is perfect, and that's the blood that's covering you in your sin.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: Now, if you go around and you keep talking and talking and talking and keep saying that you're nothing, nothing but a sinner, nothing but a sinner, you're gonna keep sinning.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: You want to know why?
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Because you're feeding yourself the lie.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: I'm nothing but a sinner, so might as well just keep sinning.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: I can't get over sin.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: I live in a sinful world, I'm just a sinner.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Might as well just keep on sinning.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: You're not gonna overcome sin by doing that.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: The way you overcome sin is be by saying, I have the righteousness and the perfection of Jesus Christ because his blood covers me.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: He covers me, he's my protection, he's my savior.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: He is going to save me from that sin.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: So instead of sinning more, I'm seeking the righteousness of Jesus.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: Now I want to have the righteousness, which will in your heart help you shift over to wanting to be right.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: That makes any sense.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: Sorry, my computer is freezing up.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: I think I'm having a glitch.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you guys are seeing me or not, but I'm glitching on this end, okay?
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Sorry about that if if it's glitching.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Got me making all kinds of weird-looking faces.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: It's got me a little distorted.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: I kind of looked like uh the guy off from Goonies there for a minute.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: My face was so distorted, it's kind of funny.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: It was cracking me up.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: So I want to tell, I want to share a scripture with you.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: And this scripture is in John 15 and it's 18 through 25.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: And I want to read it to you, okay?
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: Because I want you guys to understand something about Jesus.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: So if you're a Christian, the people in the world that aren't Christians, they're gonna they're not gonna like you.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: And you're gonna you might say, well, that's not very fun.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Why would I want to be a Christian if I'm not gonna be liked by the world?
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: We're not meant to be liked by the world.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: And the scripture that I'm gonna share with you talks about that they denied Jesus first, they rejected Jesus first.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Okay, he lived in the world too, by the way.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Excuse me.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna read this scripture to you.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: It says, if the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Okay, if you belonged to the world, or if you yeah, if you belong to the world, it would love you as its own.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: You do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: Jesus chose you out to be out of this world.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Okay, that is why the world hates you.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: Remember what I told you.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: A servant is not greater than his master.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Okay, they will treat you this way because of my name.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: They will or they do not, excuse me, they do not know the one who sent me.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: If I had not come and spoke of them, they would not be guilty of sin.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: But now, now they have no excuse for their sins.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: Whoever hates me hates my father as well.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: Okay, so what this is talking about is God sent Jesus to the earth to be our Savior.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: And if people don't like, if people don't believe in God, they're not gonna believe in Jesus.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, before Jesus came, look what was happening in the earth.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: Look at all of the sin, look at everything that was happening, okay?
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: A lot of stuff happened.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: Look what happened with the Egyptians and what Pharaoh did and um in the times of Moses, and then when King David came.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: Look at everything that happened before Jesus came.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: A lot of stuff happened.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: A lot of people did not like God, a lot of people actually hated God.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: They didn't understand what he was doing, they were intimidated, they were angry for all the suffering in the world, and they thought, if he is such a great God, why is this happening?
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: In the back of my mind, part of me wanted to say, Well, he created the earth, okay?
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: The earth is his masterpiece, it's his design, okay?
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: He created it.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: And it's kind of like his experiment.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: Like when you create something and you're working on something and you're mastering it, that's your experiment.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: You're working through all of all of the hiccups that are going to come along with it.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: And even though God is omnipotent and perfect in every single way, we think, well, if he's so perfect, why can't he not stop murdering?
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: Why can't he stop cancer?
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: Why can't he stop death?
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: That wasn't God's plan.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: God is going to stop death, but not in the way you or I think that he should.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: See, we don't get to tell God how to operate, but we try to every single day.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: We try to correct God, we try to tell God what we think he should do all the time, and that's really not gonna work, especially in our favor.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: And there's stories in the Bible where they even talk about this, even in the days of Moses.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Okay, they talk about it.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Moses talks to God.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: Remember on the mount?
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: Moses tells God, you've chosen the wrong person.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: I'm not the person for this job.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: God said, you know, you need to go.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: Here's the Ten Commandments, you need to take them down and you need to um share the Ten Commandments, okay?
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: And Moses is like, No, and you need to go free my people.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: You need to go to Egypt, Egypt, and free my people.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: You know, he told him to do that too.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: And Moses, you know, probably thought God was nuts.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: There's times that God has nudged me to do something, and I thought, God, this is crazy.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: I'm not, I'm not the person, I'm not equipped to do this.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: Why would you even pick me out of everybody in the world?
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: Why would you want me to do this, this assignment?
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: Why is this my assignment?
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: He sends us, tells us to do stuff.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: You're gonna face adversity, you're gonna come up against the uh the enemy, you're also gonna come up against people that are not Christian.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: And people that are not Christian are gonna be these people that they're talking about in the scripture, the ones that hate you because you're not part of the world anymore.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: You look different than what the rest of the world looks like.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: And we are supposed to.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: If we have Jesus Christ in our hearts and we're following after Jesus, we're getting the word of God into our hand, we're reading the gospels, we're studying the gospels, we're learning what Jesus did, what he said, how he behaved, how he acted.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: You know, Jesus had emotions too.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Jesus had feelings too.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: But he was perfect and knew how to handle every situation.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: He walked in the he walked in the wilderness.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: There was times that he was alone.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: There's times that he had to go spend time with the father.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: There's times that people like literally tried to drag him down, drag him down because they were just like, oh Jesus, oh Jesus, oh Jesus, oh Jesus, oh Jesus.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: And he and he never he never went numb to any of it.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: He he stayed the course because he knew what his father had sent him to do.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: He already knew.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Even on the cross, he knew.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: So if the world hates you because you're looking like Jesus, remember it's not you they hate, it's Jesus in you that they hate.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: Pray for your enemies.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: Pray for them.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: Don't argue with them, don't fight with them.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: Don't don't take this the wrong way, but don't go out and buy a gun.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: And there's Christian people, Christian conservative people that claim Christianity, but yet don't do this.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: They're yelling, they're screaming, they're throwing fits, they're having tantrums, they're acting outlandishly, and it's making a lot of non-Christians go, if this is what Christianity is, I don't want any part of it.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: We are to be demonstrating the love of Christ as a Christian.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: Christ is waiting for the bride.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: We are the bride.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: Jesus is going to be sitting at the right hand of the Father on judgment day, and we are gonna go before him.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: Every knee shall bow to God with Jesus sitting at the right hand.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: Have you accepted Jesus today?
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: Is Jesus in your heart?
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: And you may say, but after after everything you've said, I don't I'm not sure I want to be a Christian.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure I want to be a Christian.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: You don't want to be saved from your own sin.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: Because I'm gonna tell you right now, you cannot save yourself.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: There's no way out, my friends.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: There is good and there is evil.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: Living in sin without a savior is not a suggestion I would recommend.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: And here's the other thing when you recognize who Jesus is, like the young man I was telling you about that said, I just quit praying to God because I felt like I was using God as my ticket to sin.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: That's because he didn't understand the blood of righteousness, he didn't understand the perfect blood, the spotless blood that was shed for his sin.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: Jesus did that for you.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: That doesn't mean you have to go get yourself cleaned up before you go to Jesus.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: Oh, I I can't drink, I can't smoke, I can't cuss, I can't, I can't um lust, I can't look, you know, on a person sexually, I can't have a relationship out of marriage, I can't, you know, this, I can't that, I can't, can't, can't, can't.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: All these things that you think you can't do, that you have to get straightened up first before you go find Jesus, guess you're not gonna be able to get yourself out of that mess without Jesus.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: And unless you seek him out and learn about him, you won't have any idea.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: You won't have any idea.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: So I just want to encourage you today.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: I really want you want you to be lifted up and encouraged in um the joy of the Lord, okay?
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: I I want you to feel um just God's presence in in so many things, so many things.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: He loves you so much.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: God loves you so much in this world that he sent his son to die for you, okay?
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: Jesus is coming back soon.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: The world is flipped upside down, it is twisted, it is darker now than it's ever been.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: Half the world is in revive revival, the other half is satanic and evil, and there's gonna be a battle.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: The battle of Armageddon.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: If you haven't read that, you might want to read it because it's gonna happen.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: And that's where that's where um um good versus evil goes to war.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you folks, God wins that battle.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: Security wins.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: A lot of people are gonna get killed, a lot of people are gonna get persecuted.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: When Jesus comes back, he's gonna raise the dead, he's gonna raise everybody up that's in the ground.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: And those that are Christians are going up with him.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: The people on the earth that are Christians, that truly believe Jesus Christ died as their personal Lord and Savior, they're following him, they're seeking him, they're sharing his gospel.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: They truly, honestly have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: Those are gonna go up, those are gonna be the people that go up next, right after the people are raised up.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: They're gonna meet meet Jesus in the sky.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: Jesus isn't coming to the earth during that time, he comes to the earth later.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: So there's gonna be a tribulation, there's gonna be the seven-year reign.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, and when Jesus comes back, all of those people that went up with him are gonna be right behind him.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: And they're gonna be geared up and they're gonna be ready for war.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: Are you ready for war?
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: There's already warfare going on every single day.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: Every single post I look on on my phone, it's it's sickening.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: It's sickening what I have to see every single day on my phone.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: I I literally have just been putting it, putting it down and walking away because I I just for one, my Heart can't handle it.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: It's very burdensome.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: And for two, I get I get irritated, I get angry at it.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: I just want it to stop and go away, but it's not going to.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: It's only going to get worse.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: It's going to get worse and worse.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: The sooner it comes to Jesus coming back, it's going to get worse.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: Are you ready?
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: Are you ready for it?
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: Do you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior?
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: If you don't, you need to find out who Jesus is.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: You need to get saved.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: Get saved today.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Ask Jesus.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: All you have to do to get saved is pray to Jesus.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: Say, Jesus, I believe in you.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: I know that you came.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: I know that you died on the cross for my sins.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: Please, Lord, forgive me of all my sins.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: And please, Lord, take me to heaven when I die, Lord.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: So I can be with you.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: And then the transformation will start happening.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: God will start working on you.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Even the mess you're in right now.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Whether you're hurt, whether you've had pain, whether you've gone through some trauma, whether you don't even trust God.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Some people want to blame God for all of it.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: They want to blame God for everything.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: Well, if God is so magnificent, why doesn't He just come right down here and fix it?
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: That's not God's plan for us.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, we don't get to decide that.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: Look at what happened with Job.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: Think about it.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: If you want to know about Job, look up the story because that's going to be the topic next week.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: We're going to talk about Job.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: The story of Job actually blew my mind.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Because I got down to the end of the book and I was excited to hear an answer.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: Wasn't what I thought God was going to say or what he was going to do.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: And we're going to discuss that next week.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: So I just want to thank you for being here today.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: I hope that this has been helpful.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: I hope that this has encouraged you, brought a little bit of light to your life.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: I don't want to discourage anybody.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: I'm not trying to like be a fear monger and be like, oh, you know, get Jesus now or you're going to hell.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: That's not what I'm trying to do.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: If that's what it takes for you to see it, that is the truth.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: There is hell.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: We can talk about that too.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: A lot of people don't want to talk about hell.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: They don't want to talk about eternity and after, after the world, after Armageddon, after the return of Jesus.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: They don't even want to talk about the persecution.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: And that comes.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: That's going to come first.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: Y'all should get your shaking boots on.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: You should be shaking in your boots right now, thinking that I hope that I'm not left behind when Jesus comes to take the ones that he says he's going to take up to the sky with him.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: I hope I'm in that group of people.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: And I know I'm a sinner.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: I know I don't deserve that.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: But I know I trust in Jesus.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: I believe his word is true.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: I know that he died on the cross for me.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: I know that he loves me.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: And because of his blood, I am righteous and I am clean and I'm spotless.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: Are you?
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: We got to get cleaned up.
- 25:20SPEAKER_00: So let's do that, okay?
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: I just want to thank you all for being here.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: I appreciate each and every one of you.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: I hope you have a fantastic day.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: Just get in the word.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: Say a prayer.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: Instead of getting mad at someone, go to God and pray for someone.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: Go tell someone about Jesus today.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Share the gospel.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of people out there hurting.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of people out there headed for hell.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: And if you say you're a Christian, if you're claiming to be a Christian, the Bible says we are to go out and share the gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: We're not just supposed to get Jesus and keep them all to ourselves.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: We're supposed to be sharing Jesus with the loss, with the hurting.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: That's where we're supposed to be sharing Jesus.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: We're not supposed to be afraid of the world.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: The world is already gonna hate you.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: Might as well just know that now.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: But it's not you that hate, it's the Jesus in you.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: Jesus loves you.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: God's gonna bless you.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: Wait till you get your robe.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: That robe made of fine linen.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: When you get taken up to the sky, you're gonna receive a robe of fine linen.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: And then there's crowns.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: Certain crowns for certain people for certain things that they did while they were here on earth.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: My prayer is that as many people as I know and love and care about, and that's you listening.
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: That's you on the other side of this video.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: If you're watching and listening, that's you.
- 27:05SPEAKER_00: I'm talking to you.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: On that day, I want you to go up with me.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: If I could reach in there and hold your hand and take you, I would.
- 27:18SPEAKER_00: But we have to have our own relationship with Jesus.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: Jesus is gonna save us, no one else.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: Your parents can't save you, your kids can't save you, your grandparents can't save you, your best friend can't save you, your boss, your teachers.
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: Nobody on earth can save you but Jesus.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: Seek him out.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: Find out who he is.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: Who is this Jesus guy?
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: If you're a Christian, you already know.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: And this has been another great episode of Crushing Strongholds.

- 28:10SPEAKER_00: That was one of them.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: Sorry about the interruption.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: But um, we are at the close today, and I just wish you all well.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: I just want you all to be blessed.

- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Be the Christian.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: If you say you're a Christian, be the Christian you're supposed to be.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: Not the lukewarm one that God's gonna spit you out.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Get on fire for God.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: Seek Jesus.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: Anyhow, y'all take care.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: God bless you.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: Have a wonderful day.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: Thank you for sticking around with me today.
