Okamoto Shatters Rookie HR Record | Toronto Blue Jays News
Kazuma Okamoto just shattered the Blue Jays’ rookie home run record with his 25th blast, fueling a 10-5 rout of the Rays — and Alejandro Kirk added three runs with a double and homer. The offense exploded early, scoring in five innings, led by Kirk’s two-run shot and Okamoto’s unstoppable power. Defensive gems and clutch hitting kept the Rays at bay despite their five runs. This win proves the Jays are firing on all cylinders, with Kirk and Okamoto delivering like last year’s powerhouse lineup.
