- 0:00Speaker 1: Are you flying Delta Airlines when you go on vacation
- 0:02Speaker 1: in December? Do you know, Christine? Are you flying United?
- 0:04Speaker 2: I'm United.
- 0:04Speaker 1: You're flying United. Yes. Well, you're not going to be
- 0:06Speaker 1: too bad. If you're flying Delta, you'd be on time.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Travel experts have looked into the best airlines as far
- 0:15Speaker 1: as timing goes, best performance among U.S. airlines and how
- 0:20Speaker 1: on time they are. And Delta Airlines is number one.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Seventy-seven percent of the time they are on time. Good.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Yes, that's great.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Followed by number two, Allegiant Air. Alaska Airlines at number three,
- 0:33Speaker 1: United Airlines number four.
- 0:35Speaker 2: That's our friend Edie, by the way. Good morning, Edie.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Edie was the one that, she scared me. I thought
- 0:39Speaker 1: I was being arrested at Newark. Oh, yeah. She would
- 0:42Speaker 1: have you locked up. Because she's so nice. Because I
- 0:45Speaker 1: was getting ready to board an airplane.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Because she's like one of our number one fans.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Oh, she's so nice.
- 0:50Speaker 1: A couple weeks ago, I'm getting ready to board a plane,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and she like, not didn't grab me, but touched my
- 0:55Speaker 1: shoulder as I'm putting, I'm giving them the gate agent
- 0:57Speaker 1: my ticket. Yeah. Yeah. And it went beep, beep. You know,
- 1:00Speaker 1: I had beeps. And it's just like, you know, you know,
- 1:03Speaker 1: you're an aisle. You know, you're a emergency exit. You
- 1:06Speaker 1: have to confirm that. And and I'm walking on almost
- 1:09Speaker 1: on the jetway. And Edie goes, come in, come in,
- 1:12Speaker 1: come in.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13Speaker 1: And she was so nice. But for a minute, it
- 1:15Speaker 1: startled me.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I thought you were in trouble.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I was in trouble.
- 1:17Speaker 2: She wanted to say hi because she had been in
- 1:19Speaker 2: a meeting and was trying to get to you before,
- 1:21Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:22Speaker 2: She couldn't get to you as early as she wanted to.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Well, United Airlines, you're doing pretty good. You are number
- 1:26Speaker 1: four on time. American Airlines, number five. Southwest Airlines, number six.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Frontier Airlines, number seven. JetBlue is on time 59.7% of
- 1:34Speaker 1: the time. So 77% is number one. 59.7% is number eight.
- 1:43Speaker 1: It's a big difference right there.
- 1:44Speaker 2: That's a big drop-off, yeah. We're doing international for United.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Yeah, wait, tell everybody where you're going. Have you talked
- 1:51Speaker 1: about it on the air yet?
- 1:52Speaker 2: I haven't, because we just.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Have we talked about it on the air yet?
- 1:56Speaker 2: We kind of did.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Oh, right, right, well, you're a travel agent.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Yes, Kelly. We love you, Kelly. Kelly Brennan, our travel agent.
- 2:02Speaker 2: We talked again last night, and we solidified the plan,
- 2:05Speaker 2: so boom, it's happening again. I fell in love with
- 2:08Speaker 2: the German Christmas markets last year. So we're going back
- 2:12Speaker 2: to Cologne.
- 2:13Speaker 1: In December.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:14Speaker 1: So you're flying Newark to Cologne.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Newark to, we have to go to Munich.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Oh, you've changed in Munich? Yes.
- 2:18Speaker 2: And then go to Cologne. It's like Cologne. Like the
- 2:21Speaker 2: way Americans.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Say it, it's like cologne. Right, we say cologne. Yeah,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I know.
- 2:24Speaker 2: But the airport in Munich has its own Christmas market,
- 2:30Speaker 2: by the way. So we have a big layover when
- 2:32Speaker 2: we're there.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Oh, I remember you telling me about this.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You were wondering if maybe you could leave the airport
- 2:37Speaker 1: or is the Christmas market within the airport?
- 2:39Speaker 2: It's within the airport.
- 2:40Speaker 1: So you don't have to leave, go past security.
- 2:42Speaker 2: You don't have to leave, but it's like where my
- 2:43Speaker 2: relatives met me last year. So I'm wondering if that's
- 2:45Speaker 2: a part, like we're already checked in, you know, like we're.
- 2:49Speaker 2: We're already through security because we're transferring from one flight
- 2:52Speaker 2: to another.
- 2:52Speaker 1: And your luggage is moving, too.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And the luggage is moving. So are we going to
- 2:55Speaker 2: be able to go out and play for a little bit?
- 2:57Speaker 2: And I'm hoping maybe my relatives can meet us there.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Or are we going to be like stuck at the gate?
- 3:02Speaker 2: And then we go to Cologne because it was just
- 3:04Speaker 2: so their Christmas markets were a dream. The Angel Market
- 3:07Speaker 2: is so beautiful. And then after that, we go to Vienna.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Man, that's a good trip right there.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:13Speaker 1: And what are you bringing us back? What would you
- 3:15Speaker 1: guys like?
- 3:16Speaker 2: What did I bring last year?
- 3:18Speaker 1: You always do good gifts.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Some chocolates. Did I bring you chocolates last year?
- 3:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you did.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Kristen, I brought you, I know, a little Nutcracker, the
- 3:25Speaker 2: little Nutcracker cup. Because Eric and I are big fans
- 3:28Speaker 2: of Glühwein. Glühwein? Yeah, it's mulled wine. It's hot wine.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Okay, that's what I want. Yes.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I can't bring back that. Yes. But I can bring
- 3:37Speaker 2: back the little mugs they come in because they're all
- 3:38Speaker 2: like collectible. Like each market has its own mug and
- 3:41Speaker 2: they're just so, so cute.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Seriously, no pressure. But I do love alcohol if you
- 3:44Speaker 1: can get it in here.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You have to be there when they warm it up.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:48Speaker 2: But maybe if I could bring back, I wonder if
- 3:50Speaker 2: they sell like the spices and you can make your own.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I'll look for it. All right. December, a trip to remember,
- 3:55Speaker 1: it sounds like. Harry Medved, all things movies. What's popping
- 3:59Speaker 1: this weekend? That's what all the cool people say. What's
- 4:01Speaker 1: popping this weekend at the box office? We're going to
- 4:03Speaker 1: find out next on Light FM.
