- 0:00Speaker 1: The moment you have all been waiting for is here.
- 0:02Speaker 2: It is.
- 0:03Speaker 1: This week's video is a little dark.
- 0:04Speaker 2: We're talking about something serious, but I want to talk
- 0:06Speaker 2: about something else that's serious and horrifying and exciting and
- 0:09Speaker 2: something that you've wanted for so long. As you know,
- 0:12Speaker 2: my best friend Chris and I made a horror movie.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Like, we filmed it. We went out in a week.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It was fun. It's... The trailer is here, and it's
- 0:20Speaker 1: ready for you to see.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Now even better news than the trailer is the fact
- 0:24Speaker 2: that Chris and I are going to be doing some screenings,
- 0:26Speaker 2: and they might be near you, and we are going
- 0:28Speaker 2: to be there. We're gonna be at the screenings, and
- 0:30Speaker 2: we're gonna see you guys, and we're gonna talk about
- 0:31Speaker 2: the movie, and we're gonna do a Q & A,
- 0:33Speaker 2: and it's gonna be extraordinary.
- 0:34Speaker 1: So I hope you're excited.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Don't poop your pants.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Actually, you probably will. You're probably gonna poop your pants. Enjoy.
- 0:40Speaker 1: We are going to a place called the House on
- 0:43Speaker 1: Eden Road.
- 0:43Speaker 2: And we just wanted to know if you guys have
- 0:46Speaker 2: heard of that before.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I've actually never heard of the House on Eden Road.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I read about a girl going missing like 60-ish years ago.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I don't know who, but that's what I read online.
- 0:59Speaker 2: I'm going to be honest. I don't feel good about this.
- 1:03Speaker 1: How sick is this?
- 1:05Speaker 2: Come on.
- 1:06Speaker 1: No.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Come on.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Come on.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Come on.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Right? Okay. I'm excited. We're announcing where the screenings are
- 1:32Speaker 1: going to be this week. You're going to be able
- 1:34Speaker 1: to buy tickets. I hope you guys are excited.
- 1:36Speaker 2: So keep on our Instagrams because we're going to be
- 1:38Speaker 2: announcing stuff there and it's going to be great. So
- 1:42Speaker 2: now we're going to jump into the other video.
- 1:44Speaker 1: The one that I filmed about two weeks ago. It's dark.
- 1:46Speaker 1: It's deep. It has a very important message. If you
- 1:48Speaker 1: have kids, sit them down. Enjoy Boo Crew. Can't wait
- 1:52Speaker 1: to see you in theater.
- 1:54Speaker 2: September is here and for a lot of Canadian kids
- 1:57Speaker 2: are back in school and a lot of American kids
- 1:59Speaker 2: are already back in school but Boo Crew today we're
- 2:01Speaker 2: going to talk about something a little bit serious. I
- 2:03Speaker 2: was scrolling Facebook and I saw the face of this
- 2:05Speaker 2: beautiful little girl and her name was Cara.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Here's a quick little clip. I'm going to talk about bullies.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Cara is a 13.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Year old in America in grade 8 who is going
- 2:19Speaker 2: through it. The truth is she's being bullied quite extensively. Um,
- 2:23Speaker 2: something that she talks about in her video is the
- 2:25Speaker 2: fact that, you know, she's dressy.
- 2:26Speaker 1: It's amen, same here.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Um, she says she's a bigger girl and people are
- 2:31Speaker 2: absolutely horrible to her. It's 2024 and it blows my
- 2:35Speaker 2: mind that this kind of thing is still happening.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Am I surprised?
- 2:39Speaker 2: No, but I thought that by now there would have
- 2:41Speaker 2: been something in place to stop these kinds of things
- 2:43Speaker 2: from happening. Kara seems like a really wonderful person, but
- 2:47Speaker 2: her story is not unique, unfortunately.
- 2:50Speaker 1: So if you have young kids, if you have high
- 2:52Speaker 1: school students, if you have college kids, heck, if you work.
- 2:55Speaker 2: In an office environment, you know that bullying happens and
- 2:58Speaker 2: maybe it's time to sit you down and the rest
- 3:00Speaker 2: of the people around you because I want to tell
- 3:01Speaker 2: you my story. You can tell by looking at me
- 3:04Speaker 2: that I am also not a small person and so what?
- 3:08Speaker 2: I went to three different high schools. High school was
- 3:10Speaker 2: not an easy, kind, and nice time to me and
- 3:13Speaker 2: it didn't just start there.
- 3:14Speaker 1: It did start when I was around her age.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Once you hit grade eight, you are that huge fish
- 3:19Speaker 2: in that little pond And I think that these kids
- 3:22Speaker 2: are either getting stressed, prepared, or trying to fit in.
- 3:24Speaker 2: So when they're in high school, they think they have
- 3:26Speaker 2: a chance. Because the truth is, high school is a
- 3:28Speaker 2: rat race.
- 3:29Speaker 1: College is a rat race. It all is a rat race.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Life is.
- 3:33Speaker 2: But the weird thing is, is that we're all fighting
- 3:35Speaker 2: for the same thing. To just exist and to get
- 3:38Speaker 2: through every day.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Because guess what? It's life.
- 3:40Speaker 2: There's no winners. None of us are going to get
- 3:43Speaker 2: out of here alive. When you're in grade 6, 7, 8,
- 3:45Speaker 2: you're really starting to come into yourself. You're really starting
- 3:48Speaker 2: to learn who you are. who your friends are, what
- 3:51Speaker 2: you like, who you're becoming. And that is absolutely scary.
- 3:55Speaker 2: And I can't imagine, on top of trying to figure
- 3:57Speaker 2: out all of these things about yourself, you have to
- 4:00Speaker 2: deal with things like bullies. The truth is, and I'm
- 4:03Speaker 2: going to call out you bullies right now, the people
- 4:05Speaker 2: that make the comments, the people that move their chairs
- 4:07Speaker 2: back into Kara hurting her as she walks by, they
- 4:11Speaker 2: are insecure, tiny little people where, you know what, they're
- 4:15Speaker 2: probably more insecure than Kara is about herself. Because Cara
- 4:19Speaker 2: wouldn't do that to people because she doesn't have that
- 4:21Speaker 2: inside of her. I have learned time and time again,
- 4:23Speaker 2: and let me tell you this because an adult, I
- 4:25Speaker 2: have learned the people that hurt you are the most
- 4:27Speaker 2: hurt people that you will ever meet. For me, I
- 4:31Speaker 2: had a lot of it go on in my family,
- 4:33Speaker 2: along with lots of other kids out there. And I'll
- 4:35Speaker 2: tell you, those family members, broken. Those kids that were
- 4:38Speaker 2: so horrible to me, broken. So many people since then
- 4:42Speaker 2: that had bullied to me had come to me and said,
- 4:44Speaker 2: you know what, Selena, I'm so sorry for how I
- 4:46Speaker 2: treated you. Now, did it take me getting famous on
- 4:50Speaker 2: the internet for that to happen?
- 4:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it did. And I hate that. I hate that
- 4:54Speaker 1: even more.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I remember I bullied one person once and I felt
- 4:58Speaker 2: so sick about it. And not only did I apologize
- 5:00Speaker 2: in high school, it ate me alive. And one time
- 5:04Speaker 2: I saw her in a drive-thru and I said to her,
- 5:06Speaker 2: I am so sorry. And she didn't even remember it happening.
- 5:11Speaker 2: When I was in grade seven, my mom got sick.
- 5:13Speaker 2: My mom got sick really, really fast. My dad was
- 5:16Speaker 2: in Japan. And I heard a crash and my mom
- 5:18Speaker 2: was on the floor and I thought that she was dead.
- 5:21Speaker 2: And it flipped my world upside down. I started listening
- 5:24Speaker 2: to angry music. I started wearing black. I started acting out.
- 5:29Speaker 2: But so did the rest of the world against me
- 5:30Speaker 2: because in this time when I needed people and care
- 5:33Speaker 2: the most, they weren't there. They criticized me for it.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I had some close friends, but I was getting weird
- 5:39Speaker 2: and they were uncomfortable with that.
- 5:42Speaker 1: You're 14. You do not feel okay in your own
- 5:44Speaker 1: potty at 14. I remember going into grade nine. I
- 5:48Speaker 1: was so excited.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I remember seeing these cool punk girls and I just
- 5:51Speaker 2: wanted to be their friends, but of course they wanted
- 5:53Speaker 2: nothing to do with a niner. But there were other
- 5:55Speaker 2: groups of girls. I was trying too hard to fit in.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I was going to the smoker pit. I was trying
- 6:02Speaker 2: to make friends with all these different groups, but I just,
- 6:04Speaker 2: I didn't fit.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And that's the truth. Sometimes you just don't fit.
- 6:08Speaker 2: And when you're that young and you have to find
- 6:10Speaker 2: company in yourself, when the voices in your head are
- 6:14Speaker 2: so loud, It's not really a safe place.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I was in a public school. These girls were horrible.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I wore a lot of black, a lot of makeup
- 6:22Speaker 1: that really shouldn't have mattered.
- 6:24Speaker 2: It really shouldn't have, because inside, I was a really
- 6:26Speaker 2: nice person. And if these girls would have taken any
- 6:29Speaker 2: time at all to talk to me, they would have
- 6:32Speaker 2: known that.
- 6:33Speaker 1: There was a trio of girls. Think mean girls, in
- 6:36Speaker 1: a way. They hung out in the smoker's pit. They
- 6:39Speaker 1: were cool. They were cool.
- 6:41Speaker 2: They had made up a rumor, chosen me among all
- 6:43Speaker 2: of the grade nines. and decided to tell people that
- 6:46Speaker 2: I skinned animals alive and I impaled them on fences.
- 6:55Speaker 2: That rumor lived, and it grew, and it grew, and
- 6:57Speaker 2: it grew, to.
- 6:58Speaker 1: People saying that I had stolen their family pets. They
- 7:02Speaker 1: thought it was hilarious. One time, in English class, I
- 7:06Speaker 1: left class. They were in the hallway. I had gone
- 7:08Speaker 1: to the washroom. I was on the toilet. I had
- 7:10Speaker 1: headphones on, and I didn't really think anything about it.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I saw feet around the bottom. I popped my headphones off.
- 7:15Speaker 1: They were laughing. They were snickering. I said hello. There
- 7:17Speaker 1: was no response. Then I smelled burning.
- 7:21Speaker 2: The girls were lighting pieces of paper on fire and
- 7:24Speaker 2: dropping them over the side. They had brought a garbage
- 7:27Speaker 2: can in, jumped on top, and put wet paper towel
- 7:30Speaker 2: around the sprinklers.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I tried to get out. They wouldn't let me out.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I went to the principal. Nothing was done.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Two days later, I'm walking home. These same girls threw
- 7:43Speaker 2: beer bottles at me, hitting me in the head. People
- 7:47Speaker 2: around laughed.
- 7:48Speaker 1: No one said, this is who did it. No one said,
- 7:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry this is happening. No one said, hey, let
- 7:52Speaker 1: me walk with you. These girls pushed me into lockers,
- 7:57Speaker 1: their forearms smashed against my throat until I thought I
- 8:00Speaker 1: was going to pass out. Teachers walked by. Nothing happened.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I stopped going. I laid in bed and I told
- 8:09Speaker 1: my mom, I'm not going to go to school anymore.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Because the things I've told you were just some of them.
- 8:15Speaker 2: It was all day, it was every day, it was
- 8:17Speaker 2: notes in my lockers. It was boys peeing through the
- 8:20Speaker 2: grates of my locker. Or pouring it in, I don't
- 8:23Speaker 2: know how. A lot of it just because I listened
- 8:28Speaker 2: to loud music and I wore black and I was
- 8:31Speaker 2: a little different and chubby.
- 8:34Speaker 1: People were talking to me like I was the biggest
- 8:36Speaker 1: person in the world. I was 150 pounds. I don't
- 8:41Speaker 1: get it.
- 8:42Speaker 2: People were making fun of me for things that weren't
- 8:44Speaker 2: even reasons to make fun of me.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yes, I was weird.
- 8:49Speaker 2: And yes, I did weird things. And maybe some people
- 8:52Speaker 2: think it was warranted. And I'm sure there's people out
- 8:54Speaker 2: there that think that.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But I was in a free fall.
- 8:57Speaker 2: My mom was living in and out of hospitals. My
- 9:01Speaker 2: dad and I were never able to connect and it
- 9:02Speaker 2: was not a good relationship. And I just didn't feel
- 9:04Speaker 2: like I had.
- 9:05Speaker 1: A great place. My mom was sick, so before school,
- 9:09Speaker 1: it was mom. At lunch, it was mom. After school,
- 9:11Speaker 1: it was mom.
- 9:12Speaker 2: And I was getting to a place where I was
- 9:13Speaker 2: going to crack. I spent all my time in bed,
- 9:17Speaker 2: and I said, I'm not going to school anymore. I'm
- 9:20Speaker 2: just not going to go. My mom went to the
- 9:22Speaker 2: guidance counselor, Mr. Robinson, a wonderful person, and said, I.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Don't know what to do.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I remember pushing her in in her wheelchair, and I
- 9:33Speaker 2: sat there in silence, and she just said, she won't
- 9:35Speaker 2: go to school. She wants to switch schools. I don't
- 9:38Speaker 2: want her to switch schools. And that guidance counselor said,
- 9:42Speaker 2: let her. So I went to a Catholic high school.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I thought, this will be great.
- 9:49Speaker 1: My hair will be black. I will wear a uniform
- 9:51Speaker 1: and I will fit in like I'm supposed to. No
- 9:55Speaker 1: one will notice me. I was new.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Of course they noticed me. I was halfway into the
- 10:00Speaker 2: grade 9 year. We had come back from Christmas break.
- 10:02Speaker 2: It was January 2nd semester of grade 9. Everyone had
- 10:06Speaker 2: already made their friends. I didn't expect the Catholic boys
- 10:12Speaker 2: to be worse. I don't know how, but it was worse.
- 10:16Speaker 2: There's this one boy named Ben. who called me the darkness,
- 10:19Speaker 2: who'd laugh in my face, who would throw things at me.
- 10:23Speaker 2: There was a boy on my bus who was horrible.
- 10:26Speaker 2: He threw a rocket in my head, cracked it open,
- 10:29Speaker 2: got a stitch, went.
- 10:30Speaker 1: To the hospital.
- 10:31Speaker 2: The school had suspended him. Later on, his mother called
- 10:36Speaker 2: into the school saying that I had made up the
- 10:37Speaker 2: whole thing and I had come and apologized because he
- 10:39Speaker 2: was having a hard time getting into college.
- 10:44Speaker 1: My phone was taken on the bus and thrown out
- 10:46Speaker 1: the window. Again, these are just the smallest parts. Was
- 10:50Speaker 1: I weird?
- 10:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But that didn't mean I deserved that.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I was having a hard time at home. I was
- 10:56Speaker 2: having a hard time with people. There was no soft
- 10:58Speaker 2: place for me to land.
- 11:00Speaker 1: So I made a horrible decision. I didn't want to
- 11:03Speaker 1: be here anymore. At all. My mom was sick.
- 11:11Speaker 2: And for months and months and months, I had taken
- 11:13Speaker 2: pills of hers. Kept them in this little Kleenex pouch.
- 11:19Speaker 2: And I had this crazy fight inside myself between taking
- 11:23Speaker 2: it and not taking it. I wanted to be here
- 11:25Speaker 2: because I felt like I had seen movies and I
- 11:26Speaker 2: knew that things could change. And I felt like I
- 11:28Speaker 2: could help change things. I wanted to change things so bad.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I went to school one day.
- 11:44Speaker 1: This girl. Horrible.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Had decided to go down to the principal's office. and
- 11:49Speaker 2: tell them I was on mushrooms. We had just left
- 11:52Speaker 2: English class.
- 11:53Speaker 1: She went there.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I was in my next class. They called down and
- 11:56Speaker 2: asked me to come to the office. The principal said, hey,
- 12:00Speaker 2: did you do this?
- 12:01Speaker 1: And I said, no.
- 12:02Speaker 2: They're like, okay, well, we're going to send you home.
- 12:06Speaker 1: And I said, I didn't do anything. I'm like, I'll
- 12:08Speaker 1: pee in the cup. I didn't take mushrooms. I didn't
- 12:09Speaker 1: do anything. Look at me. I'm completely fine. That principal
- 12:12Speaker 1: sent me home. I hadn't done anything. That was it.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I called a crisis line. I said, this is my plan.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I need you to stop me. I had a horrible relationship.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Things at home were not good because my mom was
- 12:32Speaker 2: sick and my dad, of course, was upset with that
- 12:34Speaker 2: because of that.
- 12:36Speaker 1: And I just felt like I was going to implode.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I remember sitting on the front porch with a suitcase
- 12:45Speaker 2: and I had that pouch in my hand. I was
- 12:47Speaker 2: waiting for the police to come and pick me up
- 12:49Speaker 2: and take.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Me to the hospital. I was at the bottom. I
- 12:54Speaker 1: was at the very bottom of my life.
- 12:57Speaker 2: And I took that pouch, and I took those pills,
- 13:00Speaker 2: and I popped them through a crack in the foundation
- 13:02Speaker 2: of our porch. Because no one else was giving me
- 13:05Speaker 2: a chance, but I was going to give myself a chance.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Even though I did not feel like it. And I
- 13:11Speaker 2: sat in that hospital for a week. And I didn't
- 13:15Speaker 2: feel like I was meant to be there. I learned
- 13:17Speaker 2: the stories of all these different people around me.
- 13:19Speaker 1: And I felt stronger. It was a hiccup. It was
- 13:24Speaker 1: a blip in the radar of my life. I remember
- 13:30Speaker 1: getting out of the hospital.
- 13:32Speaker 2: The principal wanted to see me before I went back
- 13:33Speaker 2: to class.
- 13:35Speaker 1: And I went into her office and she was crying.
- 13:37Speaker 1: And she said, I'm so sorry that I didn't believe you.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I feel like this is my fault. And I said,
- 13:42Speaker 1: it wasn't you. It wasn't just you.
- 13:48Speaker 2: And then I went to drama class and I sat
- 13:54Speaker 2: in the auditorium and I walked three seats and I
- 13:56Speaker 2: sat down and.
- 13:56Speaker 1: That boy, that Ben, just went, well, the darkness is back.
- 14:06Speaker 2: What I know now and I didn't know then was
- 14:08Speaker 2: that he was going through a lot too. But I
- 14:14Speaker 2: don't know why I had to be his punching bag.
- 14:20Speaker 2: There were people that stood up for me. There was Katrina.
- 14:22Speaker 1: There was.
- 14:25Speaker 2: A lot of different people, but there were a lot
- 14:26Speaker 2: of people who didn't. But the truth is I was
- 14:29Speaker 2: free falling. And the fact that we are here, we
- 14:32Speaker 2: are now, we are in 2024. And the fact that
- 14:34Speaker 2: these little problems are still taking over these schools.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I hear about more suicides now than I did then.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I live in a town, not anymore, but I lived
- 14:46Speaker 2: in a town of about 35,000 people. In 2016, for
- 14:52Speaker 2: about eight months of the year, every month, a different
- 14:55Speaker 2: student in our tiny town took their lives.
- 15:00Speaker 1: When there's school.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Shootings and stuff, we look at these kids and we
- 15:05Speaker 2: look at them and we say, maybe it was the bullies,
- 15:07Speaker 2: maybe it was the parents. Do you just wonder what
- 15:11Speaker 2: everything would be like if we just chose to be kind?
- 15:15Speaker 2: If we just chose instead to hold our fucking tongues
- 15:19Speaker 2: And just look at that person and pretend and put
- 15:21Speaker 2: yourself in their feet. And imagine what they're feeling like
- 15:25Speaker 2: if we took five seconds before we make a decision.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Because the truth is, the only control that we ever
- 15:32Speaker 2: have is how we react. How I react to a
- 15:35Speaker 2: situation is the only control that I have in any situation.
- 15:40Speaker 2: And the fact that this car got up and a
- 15:43Speaker 2: boy shoved his chair into her so hard to bruise
- 15:47Speaker 2: her stomach.
- 15:49Speaker 1: That that was his reaction and that was his choice
- 15:52Speaker 1: is disgusting. We all have our own stories. We don't
- 15:59Speaker 1: know why that person's speeding on the road. Maybe they
- 16:01Speaker 1: are just a dick, but maybe someone's dying in the hospital.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Maybe, you know, maybe that chubby girl eats because it
- 16:12Speaker 2: helps her not hurt so much.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Because I know that that's where a lot of my
- 16:17Speaker 1: things come from.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Maybe that girl who doesn't eat, maybe that's the only
- 16:23Speaker 2: way she feels control.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Maybe that kid is wearing the same clothes because, guess what?
- 16:31Speaker 1: Their life's not as great as yours. And they don't
- 16:33Speaker 1: have maybe a dual income family or enough money.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Maybe they didn't even have breakfast this morning. You don't
- 16:40Speaker 2: know what's going on in that person's life. What you
- 16:44Speaker 2: know is what's going on in yours. And if you knew,
- 16:47Speaker 2: if you were hurting.
- 16:48Speaker 1: And somebody was mean to you, you go, what's wrong
- 16:50Speaker 1: with them?
- 16:50Speaker 2: So if there's one message that you can take from
- 16:54Speaker 2: this video, it's to remember that you have control over
- 16:59Speaker 2: how you react to things. And it doesn't matter what
- 17:02Speaker 2: that other person is going to think later on about
- 17:04Speaker 2: what you said or how you acted because the truth
- 17:07Speaker 2: is no one is as concerned with you as yourself.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I just wonder what this world would be like If
- 17:18Speaker 2: everybody took a second before they reacted. And if everyone
- 17:21Speaker 2: just chose kindness. Because I have done that for a
- 17:24Speaker 2: few years now. And it's a game changer. Sometimes forcing
- 17:33Speaker 2: being happy and forcing being kind can actually make you.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Didn't feel like force for me. I think sometimes the
- 17:47Speaker 2: kindest people come from the hardest situations. And I have
- 17:52Speaker 2: a million stories I could tell you guys.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I could write a book this thick. But instead of
- 17:58Speaker 1: living in that trauma and that pain, I'm just trying
- 18:02Speaker 1: to make life a little bit easier for people around me.
- 18:04Speaker 1: And that fuels my soul.
- 18:07Speaker 2: And I can promise you that you'll feel a lot
- 18:08Speaker 2: better about yourself if you treated people the way that
- 18:11Speaker 2: you wanted to be treated. And Nakara, if you see this,
- 18:16Speaker 2: I think you're a wonderful girl. And I think that
- 18:19Speaker 2: you're going to go really far and I think a
- 18:20Speaker 2: lot of these little asshole bullies are going to peak
- 18:23Speaker 2: in high school and they're going to apologize to you
- 18:25Speaker 2: one day. And I'm very, very sorry because I have
- 18:29Speaker 2: been you and I have been where you are. And
- 18:33Speaker 2: I promise you that you will look back on these
- 18:35Speaker 2: days and you'll feel hurt but you'll be glad you're
- 18:39Speaker 2: here and you'll.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Be in a different place and it'll be good.
- 18:46Speaker 2: I don't want to say things like it'll make you
- 18:48Speaker 2: stronger or you're glad it happened because it doesn't feel
- 18:51Speaker 2: like that.
- 18:51Speaker 1: And I can tell you that as an adult.
- 18:55Speaker 2: But I want to say I'm proud of you for
- 18:56Speaker 2: speaking up because you're a voice for the people who
- 19:00Speaker 2: are too afraid to talk about it. You're the voice
- 19:03Speaker 2: for the girl who is sitting in her room crying.
- 19:06Speaker 2: And maybe someone saw that video or a bully has
- 19:09Speaker 2: seen that video of you speaking and it has changed
- 19:12Speaker 2: the way that they're going to react and how they're
- 19:14Speaker 2: going to treat people. So I thank you for being
- 19:17Speaker 2: strong enough to have a voice. And I am very
- 19:19Speaker 2: sorry that this is your reality right now.
- 19:23Speaker 1: So until next time, boot crew, I love you. Make
- 19:29Speaker 1: great choices. I believe in you.
