- 0:00Speaker 1: Back to Martimore. Well, let's take some calls. Let's go
- 0:06Speaker 1: to Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark.
- 0:10Speaker 1: What's the temperature down there right now?
- 0:13Speaker 3: It is sixty two?
- 0:14Speaker 2: It was forty this morning's supposed to go down. I
- 0:17Speaker 2: heard real feel like in the twenties this weekend.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Do you know what we would give for the twenties for?
- 0:23Speaker 1: Do you know what weave for forty degrees? Anyway it out.
- 0:27Speaker 4: To you, guys.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I believe me, I'm not griping. I'm old, but I'm
- 0:30Speaker 2: not griping.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I'll go ahead, Mike.
- 0:33Speaker 3: You know, I was just wondering. You know, I'm surprised
- 0:36Speaker 3: that Mom Donnie didn't lead that story, headlined that story.
- 0:40Speaker 3: The ice Kills and New Yorkers. You know, that's how
- 0:43Speaker 3: demented they are. But they're in the business. It's Hollywood
- 0:47Speaker 3: people who keep you know, they can't keep their mouths shut.
- 0:51Speaker 2: The most privileged people on the face of the earth.
- 0:53Speaker 2: And yet they're out there making these statements about fascism
- 0:57Speaker 2: and you know, all the usual tripe. Do they honestly
- 1:02Speaker 2: think they had any effect on people?
- 1:05Speaker 1: Well? Yeah, you think. I remember, they're very, very, very
- 1:07Speaker 1: childish you know, child, little child is exaggerating like crazy,
- 1:11Speaker 1: yelling and screaming and pouting and having a tantrument. That's
- 1:14Speaker 1: basically what this is. I mean, it might be justified
- 1:16Speaker 1: in some things, but they don't know. They can't discuss
- 1:20Speaker 1: it in a normal intellectual way. It's got to be
- 1:22Speaker 1: yelling and screaming and name calling and ridiculous hyperbole. That's
- 1:26Speaker 1: just the way it is. But it's a good point. Mike,
- 1:29Speaker 1: my favorite. Well, I gestually it's like a lot of
- 1:31Speaker 1: them are great. But Lucy Arnez, you gotta follow her
- 1:34Speaker 1: on Facebook, she said. Another's just a very nice woman
- 1:37Speaker 1: and otherwise very talented, but on Facebook, raging, raging, left wing.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Here she is yesterday about the Academy Awards this year.
- 1:46Speaker 1: We must use this show to make a statement that
- 1:49Speaker 1: we are done. Enough is enough. No gowns, no red carpet,
- 1:53Speaker 1: no fashion. Everyone wear the same thing, one unified look.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Every winner says, one thing, a unified message. Business can
- 2:04Speaker 1: go no on as usual. She's calling for everybody on
- 2:06Speaker 1: the Academy Awards to use the show for pretty, for
- 2:12Speaker 1: pretty and Renee good use this. Well, that's our voice.
- 2:16Speaker 1: We have the airtime, we have the voices. Can you
- 2:18Speaker 1: imagine the Academy people reading this thing thinking their whole
- 2:21Speaker 1: show is going to be ruined. She goes on to say,
- 2:24Speaker 1: there's no way to spin this cold blooded murder, and
- 2:28Speaker 1: Christy Nohart is a ghoul. This administration is a gutless,
- 2:32Speaker 1: soulless fashion regime that only knows how to lie to
- 2:36Speaker 1: cover their cruelty and lack of respect. Help Alex Pretty's
- 2:41Speaker 1: family get the message out. Don't be an innocent by stander,
- 2:44Speaker 1: will listen. I looked at the video. I didn't think
- 2:47Speaker 1: that shooting was justified. I think that was not a
- 2:50Speaker 1: good shooting. But that's what happens when you try to
- 2:54Speaker 1: disrupt a law enforcement operation. You know, it's one thing
- 2:57Speaker 1: to protest that's standing over there with a sign yelling,
- 3:00Speaker 1: But when you decided to go in there and block
- 3:02Speaker 1: these guys and interfere and physically confront them, things can happen.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Uh they you know, and if you point out to them,
- 3:11Speaker 1: none of this would have happened if the mayor and
- 3:13Speaker 1: the governor had done things normally. You're gonna have massive protests,
- 3:17Speaker 1: you send police control it, separate the protesters from the police.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It's done everywhere. It's there's bigger ice operations than every
- 3:26Speaker 1: other city. No problem because the police are there to
- 3:29Speaker 1: keep order. In Minnesota, they decided to withhold the police
- 3:33Speaker 1: pull them off the street. That's how this happened. Let's
- 3:35Speaker 1: go to James New Haven. James, how you doing it?
- 3:40Speaker 4: Is? Good morning, sir. Two things would like to talk about.
- 3:44Speaker 4: One is that Today Show had early on Dave Garroway
- 3:49Speaker 4: and Jack was Schooley. I don't know if you remember.
- 3:52Speaker 1: That you're an old timer, but boy, Dave Garroway was
- 3:55Speaker 1: an innovative. He was like the first real big, big
- 3:58Speaker 1: TV host. Him and Arthur got through like the first
- 4:00Speaker 1: two big TV hosts. He started Today Show right nineteen
- 4:04Speaker 1: fifty two.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Yeah, so I remember watching him. The other thing I
- 4:10Speaker 4: wanted to mention is Yale cutting the offering tuitions for
- 4:17Speaker 4: people whose families make less than two hundred thousand per year.
- 4:23Speaker 4: And that could be the Tale wants to keep some
- 4:26Speaker 4: government contracts.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that's all the but it's a Yale trying to
- 4:32Speaker 1: look like they're humanitarians. Meantime, they're charging every other kid
- 4:35Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty thousand a year ago. They're robbing
- 4:37Speaker 1: everybody blind. They don't even need to charge that it's overcharging.
- 4:41Speaker 1: They got a massive endowment. They could probably get by
- 4:44Speaker 1: without even charging tuition. But thanks for Colin. Let's go
- 4:46Speaker 1: to Dave in Bridgeport. Dave, how you.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Doing hey, Mark?
- 4:50Speaker 3: Lucy look cute wearing a burker and Saunia Raby's port
- 4:54Speaker 3: Bill used did his country.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I was trying to change our way about in the tunnel.
- 4:58Speaker 4: We want the men's room.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You got quite an echo to you there. Let's go
- 5:01Speaker 1: to h Richard in Bay Shore. Richard, how you doing?
- 5:06Speaker 5: Hey? Good morning Mark. A couple of points about Amazon
- 5:09Speaker 5: you would have frequently and lately they've been shipping things
- 5:12Speaker 5: using the post office of all things.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Also they're closing all the Amazon for our supermarkets and
- 5:20Speaker 5: the Amazon Go convenience stores in this country and I
- 5:23Speaker 5: think in.
- 5:23Speaker 1: The UK as well to getting out of the supermarket way.
- 5:26Speaker 5: See, but you live in the grocery business.
- 5:28Speaker 1: You live in Bay Shore. It's hard for Amazon out there,
- 5:30Speaker 1: so you've got to use every kind of deliveries, even
- 5:33Speaker 1: the post office. You know, it's all different in Manhattan.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Well, actually I don't mind the post office because I
- 5:39Speaker 5: know pretty much it'll be to my box by ten
- 5:42Speaker 5: thirty and I don't have to look at the little
- 5:43Speaker 5: diagram of the picture of the truck moving down there.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, I know, But you know, in Manhattan,
- 5:48Speaker 1: if you want to buy something on Amazon, you're going
- 5:49Speaker 1: it says to get it tomorrow. You'll get it tomorrow,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and that's it. It comes tomorrow. That's Manhattan. Sometimes if
- 5:55Speaker 1: you're out in the suburbs, it's not coming tomorrow. So
- 5:57Speaker 1: I'll come a Friday and then and like Thursday night
- 6:00Speaker 1: you get that little note. It's gonna be delayed a
- 6:02Speaker 1: day or two, and then Friday it's gonna it's like
- 6:04Speaker 1: delay and then you're lucky if you get it by Sunday. Hey,
- 6:07Speaker 1: when we come back and Coulter will be with us next.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Lots to talk to her about on seven ten wor
