- 1:23Speaker 3: Tired, hungry? Tired, hungry? Go ahead?
- 1:27Speaker 2: Would you like to throw in your malaise? I'm chill, Yeah,
- 1:31Speaker 2: you're chill. Yeah, I know I'm feeling chill.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Yeah. You guys are all decked out, and I feel
- 1:35Speaker 3: dumb because I didn't wear anything USA today.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I don't have a lot of USA stuff for us
- 1:40Speaker 3: and just were a little bit more patriotic. Yeah. I
- 1:42Speaker 3: think maybe you are today.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I can tell you man, well, no today the Eagle
- 1:47Speaker 2: you're like a red, red and white hat that you
- 1:51Speaker 2: could wear.
- 1:52Speaker 3: No, I don't have anything like that, and I don't think, yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 3: thank you for a red hat guy, I definitely do
- 1:59Speaker 3: not have any that's for sure, I am when it
- 2:02Speaker 3: comes to patriotism, I feel like you're only as strong
- 2:05Speaker 3: as your latest displaying at that.
- 2:09Speaker 5: Well, I guess, I guess we're in the same boat then, yeah, yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 5: although I have your nickname, isn't the Eagle?
- 2:15Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:16Speaker 2: But uh, I have to tell you, man, the soccer
- 2:18Speaker 2: thing has taken all the media completely over. You know,
- 2:21Speaker 2: every day writing the show is a number of websites
- 2:24Speaker 2: and almost everywhere I went today above the crease. In
- 2:28Speaker 2: other words, the top part of the page is something
- 2:30Speaker 2: to do with World Cup soccer.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Well, I also I love the sport. I love the
- 2:34Speaker 3: World Cup. But I'll be honest with you, I'm more
- 2:36Speaker 3: of a club soccer guy. So like Orlando City and
- 2:40Speaker 3: the Premier League, I'm more into that type of soccer.
- 2:43Speaker 3: This is the first World Cup that like I can
- 2:46Speaker 3: ever really remember that. I would smoke it if I
- 2:49Speaker 3: could inject it in my veins where the host country
- 2:52Speaker 3: the rest of the world is finding out about how
- 2:55Speaker 3: big our highways are. And that's awesome, Like, I know,
- 2:58Speaker 3: that's so important. I am running into patriotism just around
- 3:03Speaker 3: every corner, around every social media post. I'm loving it.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Do you think Let me ask you a question because
- 3:08Speaker 2: I saw something today I found very interesting regarding the
- 3:10Speaker 2: World Cup and it was at the at the Mexico game. Yep, yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 2: And I found it very interesting because do you think
- 3:17Speaker 2: that the World Cup has the reputation for being good sport?
- 3:22Speaker 2: You know what I mean by that, Like if you
- 3:24Speaker 2: go to a little league game, you know, one of
- 3:26Speaker 2: the things that they kind of lean on when it
- 3:28Speaker 2: comes to playing Little League baseball, or you know, be
- 3:30Speaker 2: a good sport, you know, good sport. Do you think
- 3:33Speaker 2: that US or do you think that international soccer has
- 3:36Speaker 2: that reputation? Because I saw something yesterday that made it
- 3:40Speaker 2: was clipped everywhere today that led me to believe that
- 3:44Speaker 2: maybe it does.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I would say so, I would say more times than not.
- 3:48Speaker 3: You're gonna say, are you talking about like sportsmanship? Yeah?
- 3:50Speaker 2: Did you see the South Korean guy who has had
- 3:53Speaker 2: the South Korean kit on? And he was in the
- 3:55Speaker 2: dead center of a scads of Mexican soccer fan and
- 4:00Speaker 2: there their kids are all green and this dude's red.
- 4:03Speaker 2: They started throwing him up in the air. Like he
- 4:05Speaker 2: was part of their team, like he had won something,
- 4:07Speaker 2: like they just kind of adopted this guy into their
- 4:09Speaker 2: world and treated him like one of their own. And
- 4:11Speaker 2: I thought that was like one of the coolest clips.
- 4:13Speaker 2: That's kind of what I'm talking about that did he
- 4:15Speaker 2: look like he was having a good time?
- 4:18Speaker 3: Okay?
- 4:18Speaker 5: I think the difference is that the World Cup is
- 4:21Speaker 5: the world coming together.
- 4:23Speaker 3: So it's all those cultures kind of blending together.
- 4:25Speaker 5: I think because of the because of the banner of
- 4:27Speaker 5: the World Cup, whereas you know, like Ross was talking
- 4:30Speaker 5: the other day about seeing English soccer fans. I mean,
- 4:33Speaker 5: they're infamous in Europe with causing riots and busting into cafes.
- 4:39Speaker 2: And that's why I asked the question, because that's all
- 4:41Speaker 2: you hear about when it comes to that, as all
- 4:42Speaker 2: these are dying, I.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Feel safer wearing opposing team soccer jersey. Yes, then I
- 4:50Speaker 3: would wearing a Spurs jersey in New York. Oh yeah, absolutely.
- 4:54Speaker 3: I gotta say I think where Jim, where you're coming from,
- 4:57Speaker 3: it's really from the teams that really have a chance,
- 5:00Speaker 3: was it really? Yeah, they don't have a chance and
- 5:03Speaker 3: not being so nice, well a little bit. I guess
- 5:05Speaker 3: I've never thought of it like that before. But when
- 5:07Speaker 3: I think about all the really really big teams, and
- 5:11Speaker 3: sure there's going it now. All teams have an aspect
- 5:13Speaker 3: of some community of their fan base that the rest
- 5:16Speaker 3: of the fan base would not agree with. Yeah, so
- 5:18Speaker 3: there's always gonna be some of that, But for the
- 5:20Speaker 3: most part that what you just saw is the reason
- 5:24Speaker 3: why I am over the moon that the World Cup
- 5:26Speaker 3: is happening right here in North America. Super excited about it.
- 5:30Speaker 6: Man.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I'm actually watching a little of the game tonight, the
- 5:32Speaker 2: match that I should say I was writing the h
- 5:36Speaker 2: kept on writing the poem for the Search Your Aesop
- 5:39Speaker 2: contest will drop the first level of those on Mondays.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Is that done?
- 5:43Speaker 2: Kind of working my way through that. I probably about
- 5:45Speaker 2: half of it done. But the good thing is is
- 5:47Speaker 2: most of the research was done last night.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Oh good.
- 5:50Speaker 2: So what I do is I research it. Then I
- 5:51Speaker 2: kind of make some bullet points of the you know,
- 5:53Speaker 2: of like landmarks and pieces of information. That's really the
- 5:56Speaker 2: hardest part is gathering all that, and then just started
- 5:59Speaker 2: kind of whipping it into the poem. But yeah, Monday,
- 6:02Speaker 2: if you haven't heard, the Search your Ace Off contest
- 6:04Speaker 2: is back courtesy of our friends of our tools Ace Hardware.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Uh.
- 6:07Speaker 2: It will be hidden somewhere in the Dry County County
- 6:10Speaker 2: area for you to go find.
- 6:11Speaker 3: So you can.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Actually there's some details online at Real Radio dot FM,
- 6:15Speaker 2: slash Ace and then Monday at three will we'll post
- 6:20Speaker 2: the first portion of the clues. That's right, and of
- 6:23Speaker 2: course tomorrow is the cruiz big thanks to our friends
- 6:25Speaker 2: of Clauda Slice that are the yeah, the Clauda the
- 6:30Speaker 2: Captain Morgan slices. Yeah, not even the Clan Captain Morgan
- 6:34Speaker 2: slice those the word slice should be in there anyway,
- 6:38Speaker 2: that's my personal opinion.
- 6:40Speaker 5: And our friend Brian Scono Diagio thanks.
- 6:43Speaker 3: For those guys.
- 6:44Speaker 2: When you come on the cruise tomorrow you get one
- 6:46Speaker 2: of those for free as you walk on, so it's
- 6:47Speaker 2: kind of cool.
- 6:48Speaker 3: But cut the slice. Yeah yeah.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Additional thanks to our buddy Craig and Pyro spot Fires
- 6:55Speaker 2: who generously donated more prizing.
- 6:57Speaker 3: We have a bunch of prizes for tomorrow. That's cool.
- 7:00Speaker 3: One hundred dollars gift cards from the guys over at
- 7:03Speaker 3: Pirate Spotter. Buddy Craig kind of came to course today
- 7:05Speaker 3: and of course July fourth is right around the corner.
- 7:07Speaker 3: So what better prize than free fireworks? So looking forward
- 7:11Speaker 3: to that as well. I was in that warehouse today, Old, Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 3: it's insane, isn't it. It's insane.
- 7:16Speaker 2: He is ready, he's ready for the next four to
- 7:19Speaker 2: fourth July. I told you we are playing pokers, said,
- 7:21Speaker 2: how's it looking this year? He goes, I don't know, Jim,
- 7:24Speaker 2: July fourth falls on a July fourth falls on a Saturday,
- 7:27Speaker 2: and it's the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary, you tell me.
- 7:30Speaker 3: And all we need is rain, That's all we need, right, Yeah,
- 7:32Speaker 3: if I was in a fireworks warehouse, I would be
- 7:34Speaker 3: afraid to fart with I wouldn't come close to vaping smoking.
- 7:43Speaker 3: I wouldn't even put hair jail in because I'm afraid
- 7:45Speaker 3: of looking too hot.
- 7:46Speaker 5: I wouldn't even have an angry thought I was gonna say.
- 7:48Speaker 3: It wouldn't get bad. Nothing in cindiary, nothing nothing, I
- 7:51Speaker 3: have one of my questions for you guys. Ah, here
- 7:53Speaker 3: we go. No, it's nothing crazy, I promise.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I like these because the texting service kind of takes
- 7:57Speaker 2: them and runs with him, and of course people can
- 7:59Speaker 2: leave talkbacks with it. Okay, So I know everybody will
- 8:02Speaker 2: probably have a different one. But I have a question
- 8:04Speaker 2: for you. What skill do you think gets misrepresented the
- 8:09Speaker 2: most in movies and TV? Do you understand what I'm
- 8:14Speaker 2: saying there? What skilled that is? I came up with
- 8:19Speaker 2: like three or four of these last I've.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Watched a pilot. Yeah, what plot do you think?
- 8:24Speaker 2: I thought my thing was like a legal procedures because
- 8:28Speaker 2: legal legal proceedings, like, because lawyers will tell you like
- 8:32Speaker 2: you do all these legal shows c s.
- 8:34Speaker 3: I like that none of that is accurate.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Box thirty five mediorologist Noah Bergeran was on our show
- 8:39Speaker 2: yesterday and mentioned that when he watches stuff, he notices
- 8:43Speaker 2: when they get the weather stuff wrong, right, like a twister?
- 8:46Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 8:46Speaker 3: Yeah, what's the worst one though? Guns? I'm going guns?
- 8:50Speaker 3: What my wife said? She said, guns and music like
- 8:53Speaker 3: people playing guitar. Like it's if you're not a guitar
- 8:56Speaker 3: player and you see somebody trying to act like they're
- 8:58Speaker 3: playing guitar and you know what you're doing, it looks
- 9:01Speaker 3: completely ridiculous.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Oh here's a good one. Hackers. What hackers are the
- 9:06Speaker 2: people hacking in the computers?
- 9:07Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I actually that's more accurate than any of
- 9:12Speaker 3: our guesses.
- 9:13Speaker 2: The funny thing is, how would you know? You'd almost
- 9:14Speaker 2: have to be a hacker yourself to figure that out.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Aren't there so few of those? I guess we have
- 9:19Speaker 2: one listener qualifying how about athletes?
- 9:23Speaker 3: Athletes is a big one. There's actually a super cut
- 9:25Speaker 3: of like a bunch of actors throughout the decades of
- 9:29Speaker 3: throwing a football poorly as they've been cast in some
- 9:32Speaker 3: football movie, and then you can see them in the
- 9:35Speaker 3: background of like remember the Titans, when you're like.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Oh god, that's not how you run around. That's why
- 9:40Speaker 2: when I saw athletics, I mean, it's very few. Like
- 9:42Speaker 2: with golf movies, you get really few people who when
- 9:45Speaker 2: they make their swing like, oh, yeah, that person knows
- 9:47Speaker 2: what they're doing. You know, a real golfer can look
- 9:49Speaker 2: at that at a second and go that person has
- 9:51Speaker 2: no idea what they're doing.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:53Speaker 5: I would imagine that any of the arts, right, ballet, Yeah,
- 9:56Speaker 5: maybe ballet.
- 9:57Speaker 3: I know that we were just talking about what's your face.
- 9:59Speaker 5: The Aportman and she was doing Black Swan. I would
- 10:01Speaker 5: have been really interested to find out just how much
- 10:04Speaker 5: dance training she had to put into that. I mean,
- 10:06Speaker 5: I'm sure it was months and months and months.
- 10:09Speaker 2: She danced as a kid, but not at that level.
- 10:11Speaker 2: But not only did she take like you were saying,
- 10:14Speaker 2: it almost ruined her feet, but she paid for it
- 10:16Speaker 2: out of her own pocket for extra so that she
- 10:18Speaker 2: would seem more authentic.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:20Speaker 5: Anyone who knows that ballerina who hasn't lost her toenails
- 10:23Speaker 5: and knows that she's not a ballerina.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I lost my toenails, but that was just because of
- 10:27Speaker 3: poor hygiene that Jack, Why did you say that?
- 10:30Speaker 5: That's not a true story to Jim, it's.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Like a terrible tub into them.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, there's something if ballet if that's expected for
- 10:41Speaker 2: them to damage their jack.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, I mean it's like the Japanese woman
- 10:45Speaker 3: who bind their feet. That's what I was saying. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah. Yeah.
- 10:49Speaker 3: The other one was, uh, is that what it is? Well,
- 10:53Speaker 3: that's what it was. Well did you ever see those
- 10:56Speaker 3: unbound those feet? You never take them out of the
- 10:58Speaker 3: tiny little shoes.
- 10:59Speaker 5: I mean it looked like notice is the reference to
- 11:01Speaker 5: a sexual preference for men with the Chinese women who
- 11:04Speaker 5: had bound their feet?
- 11:05Speaker 3: Really? So the Chinese men love their feet being mangled
- 11:10Speaker 3: like that? Oh yeah, and they would do stuff with
- 11:12Speaker 3: their feet. Is that what you're saying?
- 11:17Speaker 2: Why is that top of mind for dead Roberts. I
- 11:20Speaker 2: don't know the answer to that.
- 11:21Speaker 5: Not top of mind, it's I mean, it's a horrible
- 11:24Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 11:25Speaker 3: So they do stuff with the feet, the mangled feet.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Stop it. It'spole why it was called lotus. Stop it.
- 11:33Speaker 3: They do the stuff, but they put the stuff.
- 11:35Speaker 5: They put the thing you see the unbound foot.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Oh my god, you're kidding. Yes, I am not kidding.
- 11:39Speaker 3: There's a pocket there.
- 11:41Speaker 5: And that it was called the lotus. This is the
- 11:44Speaker 5: next We're going to look up Japanese pillow books. Those
- 11:47Speaker 5: are really fascinating. Go ahead, hit me with some.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the stage two, Napoleon Roberts. Did you know that?
- 11:56Speaker 3: The day up their feet? Chinese guys with banged feet,
- 12:00Speaker 3: and then they were called lotus. Do you guys know that?
- 12:06Speaker 3: What's also? What do you mean Japanese pillow bombs? That's
- 12:10Speaker 3: so wild? The thing bross My god, dude, that's not me.
- 12:17Speaker 7: It iss happened, dude, I've got it somewhat of a
- 12:25Speaker 7: reputation in the world.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Come, I like manga. This is disrespectful. I'm the only
- 12:30Speaker 3: one who enjoys that type of entertainment. I know about Akira,
- 12:35Speaker 3: I know about Totsuo. That's why you're playing this. I'm
- 12:38Speaker 3: not that's wild really because.
- 12:45Speaker 2: The the you know, the thing built fortunate up the street, right.
- 12:50Speaker 3: What's the Japanese what's the Japanese pillows Japanese pillow book? Yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 3: what is that?
- 13:01Speaker 5: I have not seen Jack laugh that hard in a
- 13:04Speaker 5: long long time. It's right up the street, exactly the
- 13:11Speaker 5: gift shop. Where are you messing around with the parking lot?
- 13:17Speaker 3: I still don't know what this damn pillow book? All right,
- 13:21Speaker 3: one four one. You always text us at seven seven
- 13:24Speaker 3: zero three one, call yourself.
- 13:26Speaker 5: And give us some news woman and the show goes
- 13:28Speaker 5: off the rails, off the rails. An active shooter situation
- 13:31Speaker 5: in Texas is over. We'll give you the details on
- 13:34Speaker 5: that closer to home. Orlando is marking the tenth anniversary
- 13:37Speaker 5: of the paulse night club shooting, and rejoice because Omelet lives.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Omelet. We'll talk about that and more coming up. He
- 13:47Speaker 3: said Omelet during chase.
- 13:50Speaker 5: It's not another Lotus, it's not another Japanese pillow book.
- 13:54Speaker 3: I think he's just hungry. We know Jack is I
- 13:58Speaker 3: want to bang that omelet. Jim woke up on this
- 14:02Speaker 3: word of omelet. That's a show time all right, begging
- 14:05Speaker 3: a second with dev's news. Let's be real, there's only
- 14:07Speaker 3: one scene in Black Swan that actually matters. Jack, I
- 14:10Speaker 3: know you got my back on this. Oh yeah, never
- 14:13Speaker 3: saw it. Oh Natalie Portman me Lakonis. Oh yeah, they
- 14:18Speaker 3: share some time together, right, and now you're doing any
- 14:24Speaker 3: foot act that movie again?
- 14:27Speaker 2: Black Swan? Yeah, black Swan, Oh yeah, black all right?
- 14:30Speaker 2: Four o seven Very quiet over there.
- 14:33Speaker 3: No, I haven't seen the Black Swan. That's why it's
- 14:36Speaker 3: busy guilty because I like movies and that's like supposed
- 14:39Speaker 3: to be one of the best ones.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Were you too busy downloading Chinese sound effects? No, that's
- 14:43Speaker 2: not all right. Flor seven nine one six four one,
- 14:45Speaker 2: text us at seven seven zero three one.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Welcome back.
- 14:47Speaker 2: I'm Jim, Jack and Ross are right over there and dead.
- 14:51Speaker 2: HEAs your news.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Let's get it. It's time for j c S news.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Wow, this guy gotta put his name on everything. It's
- 14:59Speaker 1: in my contracted Here's the news on the Jim Colberg Show.
- 15:03Speaker 5: And JCS News, brought to you by that mortgage guy.
- 15:06Speaker 5: Don give him a listen tomorrow morning when he's host
- 15:09Speaker 5: of the Home Loans radio show. The gunman who shot
- 15:12Speaker 5: twelve people in the West Texas town of Midland, killing
- 15:15Speaker 5: one is dead.
- 15:17Speaker 8: We can confirm that the active shooter situation is resolved
- 15:20Speaker 8: and that the shooter is now deceased.
- 15:23Speaker 5: Mayor Lori Blong would not say who the gunman is
- 15:26Speaker 5: or what led up to the attack. It happened around
- 15:29Speaker 5: eight o'clock this morning along a stretch of roadway that's
- 15:31Speaker 5: filled with car repair shops and industrial warehouses. The gunman
- 15:36Speaker 5: held SWAT teams at bay for hours before he was
- 15:38Speaker 5: found dead. They actually confirmed that through robots and drones
- 15:42Speaker 5: on the scene. Midland is about three hundred and thirty
- 15:45Speaker 5: miles west of Dallas all right. Also out west, a
- 15:48Speaker 5: searches underway south of the Arizona border for Nancy Guthrie's remains,
- 15:53Speaker 5: oh Really multiple reports they volunteers went to Nogala, Sonora
- 15:58Speaker 5: in Mexico after a local collective received an anonymous tip
- 16:02Speaker 5: that her remains were buried in the area. No evidence
- 16:05Speaker 5: of Guthrie's remains or a possible quote grave end quote
- 16:09Speaker 5: have been found as of yet. Meantime that Pima County
- 16:12Speaker 5: Sheriff's Department says they're aware of the tip. However, they
- 16:15Speaker 5: have not been contacted by Mexican authorities. The mother of
- 16:18Speaker 5: Today's Show host Savannah Guthrie missing from her southern Arizona
- 16:22Speaker 5: home since February first. The investigation in her disappearance is ongoing.
- 16:27Speaker 5: But you were just mentioning earlier this week that it's
- 16:29Speaker 5: one of those stories that without new information.
- 16:31Speaker 3: That's just it's wild. It just kind of dies on the.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Just dies on the viney. It's just off the radar,
- 16:35Speaker 5: and which is odd considering you know her lineage right exactly.
- 16:39Speaker 5: But I will say again, this continues to be a
- 16:41Speaker 5: very big Arizona story.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Yeah, sure, all right.
- 16:44Speaker 5: It was ten years ago today that a gunman walked
- 16:47Speaker 5: into Orlando nightclub and open fire, killing forty nine people
- 16:50Speaker 5: and wounding fifty three others, and the second deadliest mass
- 16:53Speaker 5: shooting in America. The former owner of the Pulse nightclub,
- 16:57Speaker 5: Barbara Barbara Poma, spoke out after the massacre in twenty sixteen.
- 17:02Speaker 3: We will not let hate win. We will ensure that
- 17:04Speaker 3: no one of this generation and the generations to come
- 17:06Speaker 3: will ever forget what happened here.
- 17:08Speaker 5: So the city of Orlando commemorated the tragic event with
- 17:11Speaker 5: a week of remembrance, culminating in a public ceremony today
- 17:15Speaker 5: featuring moments of silence, music, speeches from survivors, families, and
- 17:19Speaker 5: community leaders, as well as a church located just a
- 17:22Speaker 5: few blocks from the club bringing a tolling its bell
- 17:24Speaker 5: forty nine times for each of the victims. I remember
- 17:27Speaker 5: being able to sit on my front porch in Delaney
- 17:29Speaker 5: Park and hear the music from that nightclub.
- 17:31Speaker 3: No way, really, yeah, absolutely all right.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Elon Musk is officially the world's first trillionaire. It comes
- 17:38Speaker 5: after his company SpaceX went public today. The company said
- 17:42Speaker 5: last evening in an SEC filing that it's raising seventy
- 17:45Speaker 5: five billion dollars while selling shares for one hundred and
- 17:49Speaker 5: thirty five dollars each. SpaceX's valuation is now above two
- 17:53Speaker 5: trillion dollars. The head of Nasdaq said SpaceX's IPO is
- 17:57Speaker 5: the biggest in history, and actually it's value has increased.
- 18:01Speaker 5: It started at one hundred and thirty five dollars but
- 18:03Speaker 5: now is trading over one hundred and fifty fifty.
- 18:05Speaker 2: What I saw today, Yeah, yeah, move over, Elon and
- 18:09Speaker 2: open up a seat. At the board table because I
- 18:12Speaker 2: am sitting down. I am now part owner in space
- 18:15Speaker 2: very much.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Huh. I did care to show how much a whole? Five?
- 18:20Speaker 3: Oh right on? Good for you, five hole share.
- 18:23Speaker 5: That's great, man, Hey man, there you go make room
- 18:25Speaker 5: at the table for the Brad show that already.
- 18:29Speaker 3: He texted me this morning, asked me if I was
- 18:30Speaker 3: getting I was like, not yet, I'm not done. Did
- 18:32Speaker 3: you get the Instagram video? Isn't you with that analysis
- 18:35Speaker 3: on it? Oh?
- 18:36Speaker 9: No?
- 18:36Speaker 3: Yeah? It talked me out of it. Yeah, you're good.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Make your move, dude. That's fine. Well.
- 18:40Speaker 5: In the meantime, it's not only space SpaceX's valuation that's skyrocketing.
- 18:45Speaker 5: In addition to launching the largest IPO ever today, SpaceX
- 18:49Speaker 5: also launched twenty nine Starlink Internet satellites into low Earth
- 18:53Speaker 5: orbit this morning. Space Flight Now announcer Will Robinson Smith.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Zero engine ignition and lift off, lift off with the
- 19:01Speaker 3: Falcon nine rocket on the Starlink ten NASH fifty four mission.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Falcon nine has cleared the tower.
- 19:07Speaker 5: Tell me that guy doesn't have like a name made
- 19:09Speaker 5: for space.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Will Robinson, Yeah Smith Smith, Yeah, doctor Smith, and Will
- 19:14Speaker 2: Will Robinson from yeah, yeah, exactly it's a portman.
- 19:18Speaker 5: Too, and he's a space flight now and owns they're amazing.
- 19:21Speaker 5: So the Falcon nine rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral
- 19:23Speaker 5: Space for Station Complex forty shortly before nine o'clock this morning.
- 19:27Speaker 5: It is the six hundred and fiftieth flight of a
- 19:31Speaker 5: Falcon nine rocket to date, and the sixty eighth of
- 19:34Speaker 5: the year so far.
- 19:35Speaker 3: And we're just at the middle of June.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Starlink's constellation of more than ten thousand satellites in orbit
- 19:42Speaker 5: provides broadband internet service worldwide. And if you don't know that,
- 19:45Speaker 5: just take a flight, take a cruise, yeaheah, just look,
- 19:49Speaker 5: just look up, Just stick your hand in the air.
- 19:50Speaker 3: There you go. I want to neck your hat off
- 19:52Speaker 3: by next week.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Former state representative and current Lake County Commissioner Anthony Sabatini
- 19:58Speaker 5: is dropping out of the race or Congressional District eleven.
- 20:02Speaker 5: He calls it quote irresponsible end quote to resign immediately,
- 20:06Speaker 5: which would be required for him to run. Last I
- 20:09Speaker 5: had read he was assuming the state and federal court
- 20:11Speaker 5: over that resigned to run rule is In his ex post,
- 20:16Speaker 5: he says he believes his seat quote would likely be
- 20:18Speaker 5: given to a corrupt political insider who will vote to
- 20:22Speaker 5: drown Lake County with over development and do nothing to
- 20:25Speaker 5: advance true conservative policy. End quote. He's asking his supporters
- 20:30Speaker 5: to side with Kerry Baker, calling the congressional candidate quote
- 20:33Speaker 5: one of the few truly honest and principled people I've
- 20:36Speaker 5: worked with in government end quote. All Right, Flora's Revenue
- 20:41Speaker 5: Estimating Conference is examining the impact of that pending property
- 20:45Speaker 5: tax ballot measure today. So, according to Amy Baker, with
- 20:48Speaker 5: economic and demographic research, to be eligible for the tax relief,
- 20:53Speaker 5: you must only be a resident of Florida, not a homeowner.
- 20:58Speaker 10: That the legislature will define permanent residency different than just
- 21:03Speaker 10: being I own a homestead. There's no requirement that I
- 21:07Speaker 10: see in the constitutional amendment. I had to have owned
- 21:10Speaker 10: a homestead on December thirty first.
- 21:13Speaker 5: Baker also questions whether the eligibility would apply to children
- 21:17Speaker 5: living in the state now. In the meantime, could a
- 21:20Speaker 5: revision be coming to that ballot measure on November? Attorney
- 21:24Speaker 5: General James Uthmeyer doesn't think so. After a lawsuit we
- 21:27Speaker 5: talked about this earlier this week was filed in Leon
- 21:30Speaker 5: County Circuit Court. It calls into question the neutrality of
- 21:33Speaker 5: the language in the Property tax Savings Amendment, but the
- 21:36Speaker 5: AG says he's not worried about it.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Well, we'll see how it plays out. If for some
- 21:40Speaker 3: reason a court would would rule against us, then we
- 21:44Speaker 3: will be ready to make fast changes. As I know,
- 21:46Speaker 3: ballot season is coming very soon.
- 21:49Speaker 5: A nonprofit and a couple of former Florida mayors say
- 21:52Speaker 5: the words excessive property taxes and the title amount to advocacy.
- 21:57Speaker 5: So again, the amendment, if approved by sixty percent of voters,
- 22:01Speaker 5: would increase the non school homestead exemption to two hundred
- 22:04Speaker 5: and fifty thousand dollars. That would be by twenty twenty eight.
- 22:08Speaker 5: All right, anyone who's a New York Yankees fan is
- 22:11Speaker 5: going to be mad at this next story.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I don't know any whoa I don't know. Oh that's right,
- 22:16Speaker 3: Jack is what are you guys doing?
- 22:17Speaker 5: A man is accused of scamming a Baseball Hall of
- 22:21Speaker 5: Famer out of a million dollars.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Did you hear this story'd be sad?
- 22:24Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:25Speaker 5: Have you heard about this one?
- 22:26Speaker 3: Yeah? I did hear the story, but I didn't read
- 22:28Speaker 3: the story. I just saw that he was scammed.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Did you happen to see ross.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Well, he's got scammed.
- 22:32Speaker 5: The Florida Office of Financial Regulation has identified the victim
- 22:35Speaker 5: as former New York Yankees pitcher Mariano Rivera. Monster Steven
- 22:40Speaker 5: Henry Minard allegedly lied to Rivera to get him to
- 22:44Speaker 5: invest in an entertainment development project he claimed he was
- 22:47Speaker 5: planning here in Orlando. Investigator say Minard instead took the
- 22:51Speaker 5: money Rivera invested in twenty twenty two and put it
- 22:55Speaker 5: into an account that was used to pay others in
- 22:58Speaker 5: Anyone Say Ponzi scheme. Allegedly, none of the money was
- 23:02Speaker 5: apparently used for anything related to the project Minard claimed
- 23:06Speaker 5: he was planning in downtown Orlando. Minard is facing charges
- 23:10Speaker 5: that includes organized fraud.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Oh you see this guy's picture. Not only does he
- 23:13Speaker 2: look like a Minard, he he looks like a scamming Minard.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Just yeah, you know, there's a special place in hell.
- 23:21Speaker 3: I mean, the first red flag is someone trying to
- 23:23Speaker 3: invest in downtown or Lando. Shots fire, Sorry, too soon dead.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I forgive you for the I forgive you for the
- 23:35Speaker 3: Asian stuff.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Now that's a weird line to say to another man.
- 23:39Speaker 3: It is, Yeah, I say that to be honest with you.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Just rolls. Side note, I have friends who've tried their
- 23:45Speaker 3: best to bring entertainment to downtown Orlando.
- 23:48Speaker 2: It was just a story of this running story. Now
- 23:50Speaker 2: for the last couple of weeks about the whole idea
- 23:51Speaker 2: that it's dead down there. They're trying to kind of
- 23:53Speaker 2: revitalize again. Well now the third time, I guess in
- 23:56Speaker 2: the last thirty years.
- 23:57Speaker 5: Yeah, now they're now they're saying, hey, hey, you know
- 23:59Speaker 5: that a story building that we said you couldn't touch,
- 24:01Speaker 5: you coudn't do anything to facide where we were kidding. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:04Speaker 5: for the next three years, you can do whatever you want.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Just please move. And there's also throws your world class
- 24:10Speaker 3: entertainment down there in sac Comedy Lab, which is a
- 24:13Speaker 3: improv institution country wide. But I just know that downtown
- 24:18Speaker 3: and entertainment has they've had better years. Well people just
- 24:22Speaker 3: sketch that from going down there at all, like for anything,
- 24:25Speaker 3: you know.
- 24:25Speaker 5: Which is crazy. I used to shop downtown. I used
- 24:29Speaker 5: to work downtown. I used to party downtown.
- 24:32Speaker 3: You love to shop downtown.
- 24:34Speaker 5: They used to have some of the best head shops
- 24:36Speaker 5: that you'd cool t shirt shoes, like one of the shoe.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Stores and all of Orlando is downtown Orlando, right, yeah. Yeah.
- 24:44Speaker 2: One of the only places you could buy an authentic
- 24:46Speaker 2: fur in Orlando was down there forever.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Yeah, LaBelle Furs is still there, and they're still there. Really,
- 24:53Speaker 3: you walk in and you feel like you're watching back
- 24:55Speaker 3: to the future. It's awesome. So there are some really
- 24:59Speaker 3: cool things down to there are are for the aggressive joke.
- 25:02Speaker 3: You're fine, all right, speaking of tech.
- 25:06Speaker 5: Speaking of technology, of Fort meyers Man is suing law
- 25:09Speaker 5: law enforcement over a wrongful arrest tied to facial recognition technology.
- 25:15Speaker 5: The ACLU says fifty two year old Robert Dillon was
- 25:18Speaker 5: arrested in twenty twenty four on suspicion of trying to
- 25:21Speaker 5: lure a child out of McDonald's and Jacksonville Beach despite
- 25:25Speaker 5: living hours away.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Dude, that is the worst kind of crime to be
- 25:29Speaker 2: mistakenly my god, e'm midy. I mean, if it was
- 25:31Speaker 2: just like a speeding ticket or shop lifting, I can
- 25:34Speaker 2: see where You're like, okay, you know, we're all good,
- 25:35Speaker 2: we're understanding. The technology is still got to work with
- 25:37Speaker 2: out would they get you for stuff like that?
- 25:39Speaker 5: You're like, no, no, no, no, I mean because imagine
- 25:42Speaker 5: how it will unravel your life before the truth comes
- 25:45Speaker 5: out now. Attorneys say police relied on a faulty AI
- 25:49Speaker 5: match and ignored evidence showing Dylan was never.
- 25:52Speaker 3: At the scene. Wow.
- 25:54Speaker 5: The lawsuit seeks damages and policy changes, with lawyers warning
- 25:58Speaker 5: the case highlights the risks of her life on facial
- 26:00Speaker 5: recognition in criminal investigation, so they should use.
- 26:04Speaker 2: That stuff to call out the obvious and then do
- 26:07Speaker 2: the investigation that they shouldn't be leaned on one. So
- 26:10Speaker 2: it's not infallibles lives christ sake. I mean if somebody
- 26:15Speaker 2: tried to pin a child abduction or child sex abduction
- 26:18Speaker 2: on me, I would be apoplectic.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Wow. Do you guys catch that apoplectic? I think it.
- 26:24Speaker 3: I think it means he wouldn't mind. No, it does not.
- 26:27Speaker 3: You mother, back to your pillow book, Okay.
- 26:33Speaker 5: And then comes this story. A Barvar County woman is
- 26:37Speaker 5: accused of intentionally driving her vehicle toward a group of kids,
- 26:41Speaker 5: calling it quote target practice.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well I love this.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Fifty nine year old Pamela Dresser swerved toward the children, wow,
- 26:51Speaker 5: who were playing on the sidewalk, according to the police report.
- 26:54Speaker 5: She also is accused of yelling racial slurs at the
- 26:56Speaker 5: group as parents are yelling slow down.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:59Speaker 5: Police say she admitted to making the target practice comment,
- 27:02Speaker 5: but said it's just a joke. She was arrested and
- 27:06Speaker 5: charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse,
- 27:09Speaker 5: oh yeah, and then threatening a public servant because she
- 27:11Speaker 5: also threatened the deputy who was trying to arrest her.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Well, she yelling get out of here, honky damn.
- 27:16Speaker 5: I'm sure, yeah, yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what she
- 27:19Speaker 5: was hollering, get out of here, whitey, all right. The
- 27:21Speaker 5: University of Florida is taking what it calls a bold
- 27:24Speaker 5: next step in the future of one of the most
- 27:26Speaker 5: iconic venues in all of sports. The school announced yesterday
- 27:30Speaker 5: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, otherwise known as the Swamp, is
- 27:34Speaker 5: going to undergo major renovations worth almost one and a
- 27:38Speaker 5: half billion dollars.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Damn, are you serious? One and a half billion? Think
- 27:42Speaker 3: about that? If they put that into the the I
- 27:46Speaker 3: don't think they put that much into that thing. I
- 27:48Speaker 3: doubt it how much. What's the capacity of the Citrus
- 27:51Speaker 3: Bowl though, U seventy five or eighty thousand? I believe? Yeah,
- 27:54Speaker 3: are round there seventy thousand? Well, UF says.
- 27:57Speaker 5: Key points include maintaining the seating capacity of over eighty
- 28:00Speaker 5: eight thousand, preserving the orange wing walls, and protecting the
- 28:05Speaker 5: bowl design. The timeline calls for the project to be
- 28:08Speaker 5: completed before the twenty thirty football season. Athletic Director of
- 28:12Speaker 5: Scott Strickland says the Swamp will be bigger, better, and louder.
- 28:15Speaker 5: You can see the details at the swamp Renovation dot Com.
- 28:19Speaker 3: The money Machine. Oh yeah, yeah, they will sell.
- 28:21Speaker 2: I mean, if if Florida played a bunch of high
- 28:24Speaker 2: school kids, they would it would sell out.
- 28:26Speaker 3: I meant doubt. It's a complete sellout every single time,
- 28:28Speaker 3: every time.
- 28:29Speaker 2: That is one of the best fan base best slash
- 28:31Speaker 2: worst fan bases in all of college sports. Think about
- 28:34Speaker 2: the FSU fan. Yeah, I am an at Yeah, look
- 28:36Speaker 2: at you complimenting. No, I'm an FSU fan, and I
- 28:39Speaker 2: know that is They are fervan. I mean Florida fans
- 28:41Speaker 2: if you my lord, it's the team. I mean, Miami
- 28:43Speaker 2: has a little bit of a juice and Florida State
- 28:45Speaker 2: has a little juice, but Florida is the predominant college
- 28:48Speaker 2: product in this state. And uh, those games are just
- 28:53Speaker 2: I mean just madhouses every single week.
- 28:55Speaker 5: But all I can think about is that's at least
- 28:58Speaker 5: the fourth or fifth multi billion dollars stadium project that's
- 29:02Speaker 5: going on in the state of Florida. When you think
- 29:04Speaker 5: about what the Jags are doing up in Jacksonville, you've
- 29:07Speaker 5: got what the Rays are doing over in Saint Pete.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Now the Bucks want a billion dollar renovations to Raymond James.
- 29:13Speaker 5: And now you've got the swamp.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Unbelievable.
- 29:16Speaker 5: So maybe UF will bring their games here to the
- 29:17Speaker 5: Citrus Bowl while the swamp is under construction.
- 29:21Speaker 9: Why not?
- 29:22Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 29:22Speaker 9: Why not?
- 29:22Speaker 3: Right? I'm with you. Yeah, let's drain the swamp.
- 29:25Speaker 5: And then finally, a beagle that was thought to have
- 29:29Speaker 5: died has actually been found safe.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Snoopy Big Dog Branch Rescue please mark that.
- 29:38Speaker 5: In Palm Beach County this week announced the death of Omelet,
- 29:43Speaker 5: one of the fifteen hundred beagles rescued from a research
- 29:46Speaker 5: rating facility in Wisconsin. How many of you guys saw
- 29:49Speaker 5: those reels on your Instagram? Ay?
- 29:52Speaker 3: I loved it. Heard what wants to do to Omelet?
- 29:56Speaker 3: You come on?
- 29:58Speaker 5: They said he was found in the canal after a
- 30:00Speaker 5: aping through a fence at the home of his adopter
- 30:02Speaker 5: and look to be the victim of an alligator attack. Now,
- 30:04Speaker 5: Big Dog Ranch Rescue says the person who had adopted
- 30:07Speaker 5: Omelet hadn't set up the GPS collar that was provided
- 30:10Speaker 5: to them, so they're they're now going to require activation
- 30:14Speaker 5: before adopters even leave the facility. I don't know if
- 30:17Speaker 5: y'all have ever worked with any some animal rescues, but
- 30:20Speaker 5: I mean.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Can be pretty strict.
- 30:24Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 30:24Speaker 5: Then on Thursday, just yesterday, officials at the locks of
- 30:27Speaker 5: Hatchie Groves Rescue said no, no, no, no, no, that
- 30:29Speaker 5: was a different dog and the real Omelet was recovered
- 30:33Speaker 5: while running across the roadway. Really, so he is now
- 30:36Speaker 5: headed to a foster home. And if you know anyone
- 30:38Speaker 5: who has a love of beagles and would like to
- 30:41Speaker 5: make a home for Omelet.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Yeah you know, if you know any sadists who loved beagles, yeah,
- 30:45Speaker 2: go get yourself a beagle.
- 30:47Speaker 3: So that means there had to have been a moment
- 30:49Speaker 3: where someone was like, all right, well it's okay because
- 30:51Speaker 3: that has the GPS tracker, right, yeah, and then they
- 30:54Speaker 3: have to go, uh, actually took all about the tracker,
- 31:00Speaker 3: about the track, turn it on? Actually about the tracker.
- 31:06Speaker 3: I think it's the battery. Did you get me the tracker.
- 31:08Speaker 3: I don't really remember actually getting the tracker. You had
- 31:11Speaker 3: the track. I think Cheryl was supposed to do the tracker.
- 31:13Speaker 3: I thought it was that ross. What did you do
- 31:15Speaker 3: with the tracker? You know, what a small world. It's
- 31:17Speaker 3: such a funny thing about tracker trackers, packers, Green Bay.
- 31:22Speaker 3: You want to watch some football.
- 31:26Speaker 5: And that concludes your JCS news.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Had doom Doom. Doom Doom is the worst baseline of
- 31:33Speaker 3: all time? What is the worst baseline of all time?
- 31:37Speaker 3: That was funky? Yeah, no, it wasn't. It was not
- 31:40Speaker 3: funkyn like all right?
- 31:42Speaker 2: Don four seven nine four one texts seven seven zero
- 31:45Speaker 2: three one singer sale and Ember's only up next day,
- 31:47Speaker 2: right there?
- 31:52Speaker 11: Bus helf Covin Company is concrete, Mike. I'm sure Bradshaw
- 31:55Speaker 11: will appreciate this talk back. As a die hard life
- 32:00Speaker 11: Yankees fan, I will commit a crime and go to
- 32:03Speaker 11: the same jail this dude is in to.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Beat this dude up?
- 32:07Speaker 11: How do that to Mariota River?
- 32:10Speaker 12: I know he got me fired up?
- 32:12Speaker 3: Now, all right, Sorry, didn't have any kick in the
- 32:19Speaker 3: kick in? Yeah it kicked in.
- 32:21Speaker 7: Come on, Jimmy, Sometimes it's about the journey and not
- 32:23Speaker 7: the destination Homeie.
- 32:26Speaker 3: What's he talking about? When you asked during this song
- 32:29Speaker 3: did it kick in? He's mocking kick in? All right,
- 32:35Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Jim Gilbert Show or a radio
- 32:37Speaker 3: one oh four point one. I'm Jim. There's deb yop
- 32:39Speaker 3: and saw us Daddy. It's true.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Uh no car today is on his way to Toronto
- 32:44Speaker 2: on the uh the car the car carrying am Trak,
- 32:49Speaker 2: THEAO train, Piato train. Yeah, you're going up there to Toronto.
- 32:52Speaker 2: They gotta place up there. They stay h during the summer.
- 32:55Speaker 2: So we'll talk to Faiaz next week. He's got a
- 32:57Speaker 2: guy that goes around and does the and does the
- 32:59Speaker 2: reviews for here. Then he'll call us and give the review.
- 33:02Speaker 2: He also stocks up. I think like he'llid at a
- 33:05Speaker 2: bunch of places then leave.
- 33:07Speaker 3: He also comes down after I think he's up there
- 33:09Speaker 3: for like two three weeks, and it comes back down,
- 33:11Speaker 3: stays for a weekend and just does a and like
- 33:13Speaker 3: Jack said, just goes on this barnstorming tour of restaurants
- 33:16Speaker 3: and then writes everything down and goes back up. And
- 33:19Speaker 3: that said, his trip usually runs sometimes through August. He
- 33:24Speaker 3: did let me know that he will be joining us
- 33:26Speaker 3: at the twenty twenty six Real Radio Poker Tournament.
- 33:29Speaker 2: That's awesome, cool. We you could go for details Real Radio,
- 33:33Speaker 2: dot FM, Slash Poker. But tickets the event is August fifteenth.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Tickets will be going on sale June twenty third. Okay,
- 33:42Speaker 2: and if you don't know, if this is the first
- 33:43Speaker 2: you've ever heard of our poker tournament, we can tell
- 33:46Speaker 2: you with great confidence. You know, you hear this all
- 33:48Speaker 2: the time when people are trying to sell something. If
- 33:50Speaker 2: you want to go, right, if this is something you
- 33:52Speaker 2: definitely wanted to do and you had planned to do,
- 33:55Speaker 2: buy your ticket on the very first day it's available.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Because this thing has been selling out faster and faster.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Did it even make it a couple of days last year?
- 34:02Speaker 3: No it didn't.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the past three years. So actually since the pandemic,
- 34:07Speaker 2: it has been selling out faster and faster. And it
- 34:11Speaker 2: was the record last year and it was twenty four hours.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, it sells out so fast.
- 34:15Speaker 2: So that's why I try to tell people, Hey, look,
- 34:17Speaker 2: if you really want to go, if there's something that
- 34:19Speaker 2: you enjoy going to, and it's like a yearly thing
- 34:21Speaker 2: thing for you, like the instant they come available, please
- 34:25Speaker 2: go buy it, because if not, you're not gonna get it.
- 34:26Speaker 2: I mean, it's just gonna be that fast. So it happens,
- 34:29Speaker 2: all right, seven seven zero three one. That's how you
- 34:32Speaker 2: text us for sure? Did you guys see the irony
- 34:34Speaker 2: of the UFC fight coming up this weekend at the
- 34:37Speaker 2: White House? Dude, there's a lot Yeah, no irony there.
- 34:41Speaker 2: I don't know there is there a lot of irony.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I would say, So, what do you think the biggest
- 34:45Speaker 2: ironic thing about what's what's happening this weekend at the
- 34:47Speaker 2: White House?
- 34:48Speaker 13: Uh?
- 34:49Speaker 3: To me, I think it's ironic to hold a literal
- 34:52Speaker 3: fight in the South Lawn when I think it's kind
- 34:55Speaker 3: of metaphorically speaking somewhat accurate of a overall notion of
- 34:59Speaker 3: the country.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say maybe you could, you could find
- 35:02Speaker 2: a general portion of the country that kind of feel
- 35:04Speaker 2: that way. What do you think the ironic part is?
- 35:05Speaker 3: Jack?
- 35:07Speaker 14: Oh?
- 35:08Speaker 3: Have you guys paid any attention to anything that's happening
- 35:11Speaker 3: with it for the last like a couple of days.
- 35:12Speaker 2: It said it costs sixty billion dollars sixty million, sixty million, yeah, sorry,
- 35:18Speaker 2: sixty million for the setup.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, it's gonna lose money. They said it's gonna
- 35:23Speaker 3: lose like thirty million dollars. It's free to attend. It's
- 35:25Speaker 3: basically going to be military there. Yeah, it's just a
- 35:28Speaker 3: closed set. There's no there are no tickets being sold,
- 35:30Speaker 3: right right.
- 35:31Speaker 5: Seven federal agencies that are gonna be used for security.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, for sure. I think it's ironic that the
- 35:36Speaker 3: only thing that's bipartisan that day of the White House
- 35:39Speaker 3: or people's fists both left and right will be thrown.
- 35:44Speaker 3: What do you think, dev what do you think the
- 35:45Speaker 3: biggest irony is? Do you know already?
- 35:47Speaker 6: No?
- 35:48Speaker 2: Do you think the big sponsor is? Yeah, baby, it's
- 35:51Speaker 2: bud Light. The big sponsor of the UFC fight at
- 35:58Speaker 2: the White House lawn is bud Light.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:00Speaker 2: I don't know if you remember, but they hated bud
- 36:03Speaker 2: Light just like eight months ago, and all of a sudden,
- 36:05Speaker 2: bud Light is the big sponsor for UFC coming up
- 36:09Speaker 2: this weekend and at the White House. Would you guys
- 36:11Speaker 2: watch any of it at all, just just kind of
- 36:12Speaker 2: see the spectacle of it and see how it looks. Yeah,
- 36:15Speaker 2: I mean they're expecting some storms and stuff. I mean,
- 36:17Speaker 2: there's a very good chance it'll get rained on, but
- 36:19Speaker 2: I know it does have a dome part that's over
- 36:22Speaker 2: the ring, but I mean, if the rain blows at all,
- 36:24Speaker 2: it's going to be in the ring. I don't know
- 36:25Speaker 2: what they plan to do if that happens, Like, if
- 36:27Speaker 2: it starts rainy and blowing sideways, are they going to
- 36:29Speaker 2: continue to fight?
- 36:30Speaker 3: There's no way that Why wouldn't they.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I mean that's like next level, like when they play
- 36:35Speaker 2: football in the brain in the mud, just like there's
- 36:39Speaker 2: something about it that's like, yeah, get it.
- 36:41Speaker 3: That would be pretty badass. I mean.
- 36:43Speaker 2: One of the things is, I guess they've been having
- 36:44Speaker 2: some pretty narly storms up there, yeah, in that area
- 36:47Speaker 2: over this entire week, and the forecast shows there's a
- 36:50Speaker 2: really good possibility they will get some thunderstorms up there
- 36:53Speaker 2: that night for the event. And they're although there is
- 36:56Speaker 2: at the very top if you look at the structure,
- 36:58Speaker 2: they're calling it the claw, But if you look at
- 37:00Speaker 2: the top of the structure, there is a part of
- 37:02Speaker 2: that that is covered that would cover the ring, I
- 37:03Speaker 2: guess to provide shade, but that doesn't make any sense
- 37:06Speaker 2: because the fights at night. And the other issue was
- 37:08Speaker 2: is there apparently are tons of bugs up there and
- 37:11Speaker 2: when you shine those big bright lights make sure the
- 37:13Speaker 2: TV apparently, and that's what Dana White said, Like, I
- 37:16Speaker 2: guess he and Trump had lunch or went out there
- 37:20Speaker 2: for something at night and said that the bugs were
- 37:23Speaker 2: overwhelming and he thought that was gonna be a massive problem.
- 37:25Speaker 2: But I guess they've rigged fans around the area so
- 37:28Speaker 2: it can keep a constant stream of pretty stiff air
- 37:32Speaker 2: up there to keep the bugs out of the fighters
- 37:34Speaker 2: faces and stuff.
- 37:35Speaker 3: You know, I talked about it on the radio station.
- 37:36Speaker 3: I wanted to do as much research as I could
- 37:38Speaker 3: to make sure that I have to come to grips
- 37:41Speaker 3: with my opinion about it, which is, guess what you
- 37:43Speaker 3: called it. I don't like it. I don't. I do
- 37:47Speaker 3: not understand how this is being looked at in any
- 37:50Speaker 3: shape or form of patriotism. I think it is so
- 37:54Speaker 3: weird that the federal government is getting mingled with sports.
- 37:58Speaker 5: Yeah, free tickets apparently are for fans, and it's way
- 38:01Speaker 5: across the field up the hill. I guess to be
- 38:03Speaker 5: closer to the ring is by invite only.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't think you would get it.
- 38:07Speaker 2: You could get on proper security, Yeah, yeah, I just
- 38:10Speaker 2: simply did not think you'd get on properly. I thought
- 38:11Speaker 2: it was a complete close set. Only the fighters, you know,
- 38:14Speaker 2: only people who are vetted over and over military members,
- 38:17Speaker 2: maybe their families at most. Is this I don't think
- 38:20Speaker 2: this is part of the America two fifty celebration. I
- 38:23Speaker 2: think this is more for Trump's birthday, isn't it. It's
- 38:25Speaker 2: on his birthday.
- 38:26Speaker 3: I don't know. His birthday is Sunday. Yeah, it's birthday Sunday.
- 38:29Speaker 3: I know that. But I don't know if that's part
- 38:30Speaker 3: of the celebration or not. I really don't.
- 38:33Speaker 2: I always thought that the big Great American Fair and
- 38:35Speaker 2: this two fiftieth with the concerts and stuff were all
- 38:38Speaker 2: part of that, not this thing.
- 38:39Speaker 3: But I'm not sure. Do you think they're gonna sing
- 38:41Speaker 3: them Happy Birthday?
- 38:42Speaker 9: Oh?
- 38:42Speaker 3: Probably? So, yeah, I would think so. I mean yeah,
- 38:45Speaker 3: I mean, you know, they're probably gonna have a singer
- 38:46Speaker 3: that's going to do the national anthem, and I'm bossing
- 38:48Speaker 3: that person would probably do you know, happy birthday or something.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I know Joe Rogan pops out of a cake. But
- 38:57Speaker 3: the one thing when I looked it up is that
- 38:59Speaker 3: logistically speaking, this is an absolute nightmare. Oh yeah, like,
- 39:03Speaker 3: oh yeah, there are so many reasons why, Like, sure,
- 39:06Speaker 3: we get it the background and representing the country a celebration,
- 39:11Speaker 3: but when it comes to professional fighting, this is this
- 39:15Speaker 3: doesn't make too much sense of having it outside when
- 39:18Speaker 3: it comes to the bugs and everything that you just mentioned,
- 39:20Speaker 3: and it is like the thing is it is gonna
- 39:22Speaker 3: lose money. I mean that's not a partisan opinion.
- 39:24Speaker 8: It is.
- 39:24Speaker 2: I mean they say it's gonna lose like thirty million
- 39:26Speaker 2: dollars because of what it costs to bring it there.
- 39:29Speaker 2: And then I've also heard it's gonna cost tens of thousands,
- 39:31Speaker 2: possible hundreds of thousands to replace the lawn once it's
- 39:34Speaker 2: all gone because of the equipment they have to bring
- 39:37Speaker 2: in to build the structure.
- 39:38Speaker 5: Like this shame our money is used for it, but
- 39:41Speaker 5: we can't go watch it on TV.
- 39:43Speaker 3: I guess, yeah, yeah, it's not a pay per view,
- 39:46Speaker 3: right if she can just watch it in general, couldn't
- 39:48Speaker 3: tell you, Yeah, I think it's I think that's just
- 39:50Speaker 3: a general watch scenario. I don't think you have to
- 39:51Speaker 3: pay for it. The I'll say, and hopefully I'm not
- 39:56Speaker 3: roughing too many feathers by saying, is that like right there?
- 39:59Speaker 3: It changed? This is one dropping the bucket of like
- 40:03Speaker 3: everything that I once thought was completely false And I
- 40:07Speaker 3: don't know what you mean by that before this event
- 40:11Speaker 3: and seeing the advertising and seeing the structure, like one
- 40:14Speaker 3: of the one of the things that I thought was
- 40:18Speaker 3: that it's on hollowed ground. Do you know that the
- 40:21Speaker 3: South Lawn Friendly Reminder is about less just less than
- 40:24Speaker 3: three miles than from Arlington Cemetery. Yeah, yeah, that's right there. Yeah,
- 40:28Speaker 3: that's why people are bitching about the arch thing because
- 40:30Speaker 3: it'll it'll stop the the view of the But the
- 40:33Speaker 3: right people aren't bitching like the people the group of
- 40:37Speaker 3: people who I've always thought would bitch about something exactly
- 40:42Speaker 3: like this when it comes to the hollowed ground that
- 40:44Speaker 3: this country was built on and filled with history, whether
- 40:48Speaker 3: it be from the cherry blossoms to the Lincoln Amore
- 40:50Speaker 3: everything in DC. If you haven't been out there, man,
- 40:53Speaker 3: it's worth it.
- 40:54Speaker 6: It is.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Oh, it's wild. It's one of the best trips out there.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Maybe one of the most underrated trips in America is
- 40:58Speaker 2: going up there and spending a week d.
- 41:01Speaker 3: And when I went there, I was there for a
- 41:02Speaker 3: comedy festival with my wife or girlfriend at the time,
- 41:06Speaker 3: and I walked away with such a red, white and
- 41:09Speaker 3: blue heart, and it may be proud to be an
- 41:11Speaker 3: American and seeing all that and to see it have
- 41:15Speaker 3: any choice on any competitive sport, I can't picture any sport. Nonetheless,
- 41:22Speaker 3: a literal physical fist fight mixed martial arts happening on
- 41:28Speaker 3: that special of our country's real estate.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that really speaks to the bass though, right,
- 41:33Speaker 2: I mean that you know that you would think the
- 41:34Speaker 2: bass absolutely eats this up left and right.
- 41:37Speaker 3: They love it more than anything.
- 41:38Speaker 2: I mean in the shot I just saw a second ago,
- 41:40Speaker 2: because as you were talking about it, they were showing
- 41:42Speaker 2: it on ABC News here, which we have up during
- 41:44Speaker 2: the show.
- 41:45Speaker 3: And the shot was through the fence with the ring
- 41:49Speaker 3: there and then the White House in the background. But
- 41:50Speaker 3: that's what I mean by like everything that I thought.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I was pissed wrong because I thought the base, the
- 41:56Speaker 3: people who I perceived as the base, the people who
- 41:59Speaker 3: are like the people where American flag everything. Yeah, I
- 42:02Speaker 3: mean I like all of that, And granted I am
- 42:04Speaker 3: I judging, sure, but I thought for sure that was
- 42:08Speaker 3: the same group of people that would have been a
- 42:11Speaker 3: little bit more pearl clutching along with me, because I
- 42:15Speaker 3: that's what I'm doing. I am clutching my pearls over
- 42:18Speaker 3: the fact that there is a professional fight on the
- 42:20Speaker 3: south lawn of the White House, and I'm scratching my
- 42:22Speaker 3: head on why it feels like I'm I'm the only
- 42:26Speaker 3: one kind of offended that this is happening.
- 42:30Speaker 2: I just thought that we're spending money on it, that
- 42:32Speaker 2: it's our money. It's wild that I like, this is
- 42:34Speaker 2: the thing that for some reason this hasn't registered. You know,
- 42:37Speaker 2: there's so many things that this administration has done I
- 42:39Speaker 2: just can't just that are completely and utterly bewildering, and
- 42:43Speaker 2: this one is.
- 42:43Speaker 3: But for some reason this wasn't. This one isn't hitting
- 42:46Speaker 3: word we're over. Is it just the numbness? It's the
- 42:50Speaker 3: Overton window that has skyrocketed one directions that crazy things
- 42:55Speaker 3: feel normal.
- 42:55Speaker 5: I don't know, it's that. It's also the World Cup
- 42:58Speaker 5: has started, you know, America takes the pitch for the
- 43:00Speaker 5: first time tonight. You've got a really exciting NBA Finals
- 43:04Speaker 5: with Game five tomorrow night at eight thirty.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Oh, I think this is a couple weeks away.
- 43:08Speaker 5: It's just another really huge sporting event. Yeah, you know,
- 43:12Speaker 5: I don't know how that now the fight is on Sunday.
- 43:15Speaker 3: I think it is Sunday? Yeah, yeah, is it Sunday
- 43:17Speaker 3: or Saturday night? I couldn't tell you. Sunday Sunday, isn't it? Yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 3: because's his birthday. That's my birthday, right, Yeah? Interesting? CNBA
- 43:24Speaker 3: Game five Saturday, Saturday Night, eight thirty.
- 43:27Speaker 2: That'll be a pretty clipped up fight. I'm sure I
- 43:29Speaker 2: don't know who's the who's the headline? Is it Gayeye Gechee?
- 43:32Speaker 3: Is that his name? Gayfe?
- 43:33Speaker 9: Justin?
- 43:34Speaker 3: Yeah, just engage you and uh like uh to Toro,
- 43:37Speaker 3: the guy who has a lot of money but he's
- 43:39Speaker 3: so good. Oh really, he's like a little devil dude?
- 43:41Speaker 3: Is he really? He's got a beard? Oh god? I
- 43:44Speaker 3: know everyone probably listening. Of course you don't like the fight.
- 43:47Speaker 3: You don't like UFC, and it's like, I'm a fair
- 43:49Speaker 3: Weather fan. I don't disrespect the sport. I think it
- 43:52Speaker 3: is a sport. I'm happy that it has succeeded, but
- 43:56Speaker 3: it just any type of competition happening on that seems odd,
- 44:01Speaker 3: doesn't am all?
- 44:02Speaker 8: Right?
- 44:02Speaker 2: Du four oh seven nine four one text us at
- 44:04Speaker 2: seven seven zero three one make in a second with
- 44:06Speaker 2: more than Jim Colbert shows, right, there.
- 44:19Speaker 15: You know, I really have to agree with Ross, Like,
- 44:21Speaker 15: I don't understand how the base isn't more I guess
- 44:27Speaker 15: upset about this because could you imagine if Obama or
- 44:29Speaker 15: Biden had a fight on the front lawn of the
- 44:32Speaker 15: White House and how much they be dogging on him
- 44:35Speaker 15: and the left for all that. Like, it's just weird
- 44:38Speaker 15: that no one's or I guess how you know the
- 44:41Speaker 15: base isn't seeing how ridiculous this is the whole situation.
- 44:48Speaker 8: A really big thing about this fight too. And I
- 44:51Speaker 8: don't know if y'all can talk about this too much
- 44:52Speaker 8: on the radio, but I just can't help but feel
- 44:57Speaker 8: like it might get attacked by someone. It's it's such
- 45:01Speaker 8: a big announcement, such a big thing going on that.
- 45:07Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 45:08Speaker 3: I don't know. It just seems lausible at least.
- 45:15Speaker 6: What it is. I understand what Sam house about it
- 45:19Speaker 6: being hollowed round of stuff. But do you know, yeah,
- 45:24Speaker 6: you used to have boxing matches inside the White House.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I believe Joe Biden crapped his pants on the
- 45:34Speaker 2: South lone he did.
- 45:36Speaker 3: They want I'll have a UFC fight, I'm all for it.
- 45:39Speaker 2: There you go, man, Like I said, I mean on
- 45:41Speaker 2: the texting service. I was listening reading it during the break.
- 45:44Speaker 2: People have it all twisted. Like I love UFC, and
- 45:47Speaker 2: my wife and I actually both love watching UFC fights.
- 45:49Speaker 2: For me, it just looks odd on that lawn. I
- 45:51Speaker 2: didn't say anything, like I said, I'm indifferent about this completely.
- 45:54Speaker 2: I don't have like an opinion of it one way
- 45:56Speaker 2: or the other. To be honest with you, I mean, uh.
- 45:58Speaker 2: And by the way, no tax money is being paid
- 46:00Speaker 2: being used to pay for this. During the break, somebody
- 46:02Speaker 2: texted and said, hey man, no tax money is being
- 46:05Speaker 2: used for this. It's all the company that produces the shows.
- 46:08Speaker 2: I double checked that that's true. No tax money is
- 46:10Speaker 2: being used to produce the event. So and repair the lawn,
- 46:13Speaker 2: like I don't know to finish. I do not know
- 46:15Speaker 2: the answer to that, but to put the vent on.
- 46:17Speaker 2: They're doing that for sure, So it's gonna be interesting
- 46:19Speaker 2: to watch. They do Easter egg hunts out there too.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Yeah, And I guess Roosevelt, I guess had buck two matches,
- 46:24Speaker 2: insaid the White House, and he had actually get involved
- 46:26Speaker 2: with them.
- 46:26Speaker 3: We had a talk back mentioning that.
- 46:27Speaker 2: But you couldn't understand him because he had his radio
- 46:30Speaker 2: full volume, which is a great example of why you
- 46:35Speaker 2: should check your talkback. Yeah, man, it takes five seconds
- 46:39Speaker 2: to do that. Seven seven zero three one. If you
- 46:40Speaker 2: want to get involved with the show, you can use that.
- 46:42Speaker 3: Welcome back.
- 46:42Speaker 2: I'm Jim, deb Jack and Ross are here as well.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Big news today. One of the giant stories today was
- 46:47Speaker 2: SpaceX's ipo. It did everything that it said it was
- 46:51Speaker 2: going to do. It made Elon Musk a trillionaire. It
- 46:54Speaker 2: was the largest and most expensive ipo ever in American history.
- 47:00Speaker 2: One hundred and fifty dollars a share for an introduction
- 47:02Speaker 2: share is quite a bit of money and ade me
- 47:04Speaker 2: part owner in space There you go, man.
- 47:06Speaker 3: And but that's interesting, So did you guys? Do you guys?
- 47:11Speaker 2: Because we hear the words billions all the time. We
- 47:13Speaker 2: hear it in the sense of like, this war is
- 47:15Speaker 2: costing this, or this is costing that, or this issue
- 47:18Speaker 2: costs this much or whatever the case may be, right,
- 47:20Speaker 2: and we've heard these numbers so often we just kind
- 47:23Speaker 2: of let them go by and we never really like, Okay, yeah,
- 47:26Speaker 2: that's a lot of money. Everybody knows that's a lot
- 47:28Speaker 2: of money. So I heard this earlier on Little Radio
- 47:32Speaker 2: so I don't know if it's true. However, Larry Allison
- 47:36Speaker 2: is the second richest man I believe. Yes, okay, cool,
- 47:39Speaker 2: so we we are closer to Larry Ellison's worth net worth,
- 47:46Speaker 2: then Larry Allison is now closer to Elon musk Yes, network.
- 47:50Speaker 3: If you take the other four richest people in the
- 47:53Speaker 3: world two, three, four and five and combine their wealth,
- 47:56Speaker 3: he could buy them. Let's do some other things about
- 48:00Speaker 3: trillion dollars. You guys know that's a million million dollars, right,
- 48:04Speaker 3: million million, that's a million million dollars.
- 48:07Speaker 2: So I looked at CNN had a really interesting story
- 48:10Speaker 2: today trying to lay out exactly how much money that
- 48:12Speaker 2: is across the globe. Twenty countries have economies that are
- 48:16Speaker 2: larger than one point one trillion dollars. That means the
- 48:19Speaker 2: vast majority of the world's nations have an economy worth
- 48:22Speaker 2: less than Elon musk Hu Taiwan nine to seventy seven billion,
- 48:29Speaker 2: Ireland seven hundred and seventy nine billion, Sweden seven hundred
- 48:32Speaker 2: sixty billion, Singapore six hundred and sixty billion, South Africa
- 48:36Speaker 2: four hundred and eighty billion. He could buy South Africa
- 48:40Speaker 2: and still have half a billion left. He could buy
- 48:42Speaker 2: South Africa and still be the richest man alive. The
- 48:47Speaker 2: island of Manhattan he could buy, No, biggie, how about this,
- 48:53Speaker 2: you're ready. Houston is the nation's fourth largest city. New York,
- 48:57Speaker 2: LA and Chicago are only bigger. If he wanted to,
- 49:00Speaker 2: he could buy every residential and commercial property in Houston, Texas.
- 49:06Speaker 2: That would be eight hundred and seventy nine billion, and
- 49:09Speaker 2: when it was done, he'd still be one of the
- 49:10Speaker 2: richest people alive.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Why not? Why not?
- 49:17Speaker 2: He could buy every professional sports team on Earth. Wow, wow,
- 49:25Speaker 2: every single one of them. But how liquid is he?
- 49:28Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 49:29Speaker 2: It's not very liquid right now. But that is an ah.
- 49:32Speaker 2: That is an obtuse like obscene amount of money. Look,
- 49:36Speaker 2: at that point, do you even really think about it?
- 49:38Speaker 2: I mean, I think when you're worth like maybe ten billion,
- 49:41Speaker 2: you probably don't think about it, right, You don't really
- 49:43Speaker 2: think about money at that point. It's just kind of
- 49:45Speaker 2: it's what you want to achieve. The money really has
- 49:47Speaker 2: no value anymore because nothing is worth more than you
- 49:50Speaker 2: could afford theoretically, right, Yeah, how much more could your
- 49:54Speaker 2: quality of life change from the billionaire to the trillion
- 49:57Speaker 2: air It can't well, it's just a measures a big
- 50:00Speaker 2: D contest with other people who are trying to accumulate
- 50:03Speaker 2: massive wealth based on their you know, their business acumen
- 50:06Speaker 2: or whatever.
- 50:06Speaker 3: So why do you I mean, so it's just a
- 50:09Speaker 3: big D contest, right, Well, I mean it's just the name.
- 50:11Speaker 3: It's the byproduct of his business, is what it is.
- 50:13Speaker 3: That's that's exactly what it is.
- 50:15Speaker 2: I mean, wealth is the byproduct of two very very
- 50:18Speaker 2: successful businesses.
- 50:20Speaker 4: You know.
- 50:21Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's what it is.
- 50:23Speaker 2: I mean, he just started two very successful businesses and
- 50:25Speaker 2: they are really really valuable.
- 50:27Speaker 3: I know, there's plenty of like million and billion. The
- 50:30Speaker 3: difference between a million and billion I think one of
- 50:32Speaker 3: the more famous ones is one seconds. Heyea is the
- 50:36Speaker 3: seconds jack? Do you remember it? One million seconds is
- 50:40Speaker 3: how many days? It's like three and a half or something, right,
- 50:44Speaker 3: it's eleven and a half eleven days. One billion seconds?
- 50:48Speaker 3: How many days? Eleven thousand, five hundred and seventy four. Wow,
- 50:53Speaker 3: it's like forty years or third three hundred years or whatever.
- 50:56Speaker 13: It is.
- 50:56Speaker 3: No, one billion seconds is eleven thousand, five hundred and
- 50:58Speaker 3: seventy four days. That is thirty one point seven years.
- 51:02Speaker 3: One trillion seconds is thirty one thousand, seven hundred and
- 51:06Speaker 3: ten years.
- 51:07Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a lot of money. I mean, I mean
- 51:13Speaker 3: it's so much that dare I say, it almost makes
- 51:15Speaker 3: me feel a little uneasy. I mean, that would be
- 51:19Speaker 3: on paper, the most powerful person on the plane. Well
- 51:22Speaker 3: he is he.
- 51:23Speaker 2: I mean financially he is the most powerful person alive.
- 51:26Speaker 2: I mean, what what other way would there be other
- 51:29Speaker 2: than financially? And depending on a country's legislation, theoretically he
- 51:34Speaker 2: could he could put into office whomever he wanted globally.
- 51:38Speaker 3: You know, it's funny that you bring that up. Yeah,
- 51:40Speaker 3: globally he could do that. I mean we saw it.
- 51:42Speaker 2: I mean, you know his he spent two hundred and
- 51:44Speaker 2: seventy million dollars to help get Trump elected. Trust me
- 51:47Speaker 2: what I tell you, he if the if the legislation
- 51:50Speaker 2: was correct, like we had this citizen Citizen United thing, uh,
- 51:53Speaker 2: and you can donate scads of money to a candidate
- 51:56Speaker 2: and basically buy a candidate. He theoretically could do that
- 51:59Speaker 2: globally and inject anybody he wanted an office outside of
- 52:03Speaker 2: the communist countries, outside of the countries that don't allow
- 52:06Speaker 2: any interference from that. Corporations are people too. Yeah, yeah,
- 52:10Speaker 2: they're not. But that's uh either way.
- 52:12Speaker 3: Uh, if you had Supreme Court differs with you. Yeah,
- 52:15Speaker 3: I understand. One trillion dollars is one million million dollars.
- 52:18Speaker 3: It would be impossible to spend in any reasonable manner
- 52:22Speaker 3: in one lifetime. If one were to spend one million
- 52:25Speaker 3: dollars every hour every day, how long would it take
- 52:29Speaker 3: to spend one trillion dollars?
- 52:32Speaker 2: God, if you were to spend one million every hour
- 52:36Speaker 2: every day, how long would it take to spend that money?
- 52:40Speaker 3: I'll go twenty five one hundred years, twenty five hundred years, yeah,
- 52:46Speaker 3: two thousand, five hundred years. Why not? I don't know, man,
- 52:49Speaker 3: thirty three hundred years. Uh, thousand years, No, it's one
- 52:53Speaker 3: hundred years. A century, sorry, one century money.
- 52:56Speaker 2: And if you spend an hour a million dollars an hour,
- 52:59Speaker 2: which you would bring my things to buy, but I
- 53:00Speaker 2: mean a million dollars an hour, and you did that
- 53:04Speaker 2: twenty four hours a day, would take you one hundred
- 53:06Speaker 2: years to spend. The money is too many digits to
- 53:09Speaker 2: keep it. Yeah, yeah, exactly. It's like when you talk
- 53:11Speaker 2: about space distances and stuff like light years and stuff like,
- 53:14Speaker 2: you just don't even like it's not even feasible. Yeah,
- 53:17Speaker 2: like you can't even it's not even really calculable. You
- 53:20Speaker 2: there's no way to even kind of put it into
- 53:22Speaker 2: perspective because you have no way to measure it, no
- 53:25Speaker 2: way to think about that. He didn't start Tesla.
- 53:28Speaker 3: He bought it.
- 53:29Speaker 2: Yeah, he bought well, yeh see, he did not start it.
- 53:31Speaker 2: He uh well, I mean he would tell you different,
- 53:33Speaker 2: but I think the records show that it was he
- 53:35Speaker 2: purchased it or leveraged out the other person or whatever.
- 53:38Speaker 2: All right four oh seven nine one six one four
- 53:40Speaker 2: one text us at seven seven zero three one. My
- 53:43Speaker 2: wife and I were talking about this this morning. What
- 53:45Speaker 2: is the thing that you love doing that most other
- 53:47Speaker 2: people hate doing? Of ving And this is, uh, this
- 53:52Speaker 2: is one of the things that came up because my
- 53:54Speaker 2: buddy Code Black loves doing outdoor work, like his favorite
- 53:57Speaker 2: thing in the world is to do like yard work,
- 54:00Speaker 2: and it's my least favorite thing in the world to do.
- 54:02Speaker 3: I hate doing yard work. Misunderstood the question and the
- 54:04Speaker 3: crazy and the crazy part.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Is like I love doing household chores stuff like fixing
- 54:09Speaker 2: stuff and you know, and building stuff, and he hates that,
- 54:12Speaker 2: like he goes would I would rather dig a trench
- 54:14Speaker 2: and cut my palm trees and wrap it all up
- 54:17Speaker 2: and do all that stuff all day long rather than
- 54:20Speaker 2: sling a hammer one time, or fix a ceiling van
- 54:23Speaker 2: or anything like that.
- 54:24Speaker 5: Here's another one. You like to go grocery shopping.
- 54:26Speaker 1: I love it.
- 54:27Speaker 3: I love going grocery shopping. Ross hates it, despises I
- 54:31Speaker 3: hate it, my god, man, I like I gonna.
- 54:34Speaker 2: I plan for it, like I look for I have
- 54:37Speaker 2: a thing like I go straight to the soda machine
- 54:39Speaker 2: and get me a nice crispy mister bib and then
- 54:42Speaker 2: I and then I make my loops around the store
- 54:46Speaker 2: as I get to something.
- 54:46Speaker 3: I love grocery shopping. Now I just get overwhelmed. Too
- 54:50Speaker 3: many options. Yeah no, I mean you get up in
- 54:51Speaker 3: there with with a gold dude. Now I go in
- 54:53Speaker 3: there and I just freestyle. Yeah, I'm winging it. The
- 54:56Speaker 3: next thing I know, I just spent like thirty bucks
- 54:58Speaker 3: and fruit roll ups. Yeah ye yeah, yeah, not good
- 55:02Speaker 3: at it, never going there burned up. No, Yeah, you
- 55:05Speaker 3: don't want to do that. It's not it's not a
- 55:06Speaker 3: fun time. I'm not good at it. It's a skill.
- 55:08Speaker 3: It's its own muscle jag. Anything like that I'm trying
- 55:11Speaker 3: to think. I kind of like to work a little
- 55:14Speaker 3: too much. But I like to work. I do so well.
- 55:16Speaker 3: This job is different.
- 55:17Speaker 2: I mean if you yeah, hey, if I always well,
- 55:20Speaker 2: you think you're be taking a grocery store.
- 55:22Speaker 3: I think if I've had that passion, you think could
- 55:24Speaker 3: be dying to farm. H Yeah. If that was the case,
- 55:27Speaker 3: you couldn't wait to get back there and get behind
- 55:29Speaker 3: the tractor again.
- 55:30Speaker 5: Hey, farmers are special people.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Oh no, They're very special. But I'm you know, I'm
- 55:34Speaker 2: not guessing anybody wants to wake up at four o'clock
- 55:35Speaker 2: in the morning and work for seventeen hours.
- 55:37Speaker 3: And I mean, I don't know. Maybe best the ones
- 55:39Speaker 3: that do yeah, yeah, no joke.
- 55:40Speaker 2: Yeah, the chure stuff it's I do. I mean I
- 55:44Speaker 2: like completing stuff like repairs and stuff. I love when
- 55:48Speaker 2: I can fix something. I mean that feels great. But
- 55:52Speaker 2: I'd bought rather it not need to be fixed, yeah,
- 55:55Speaker 2: than just for me to get that dopamine hit of
- 55:58Speaker 2: actually fixing.
- 55:59Speaker 3: Yeahh Like I love working on cars. That's like one
- 56:02Speaker 3: of my favorite things to do. But the biggest above
- 56:04Speaker 3: the pay grade of punches above its weight class chore
- 56:08Speaker 3: is whenever I edge a yard. It's double entendre when
- 56:11Speaker 3: I do it. Oh yeah, you like that.
- 56:13Speaker 2: I think yard work is fun for people because you
- 56:15Speaker 2: can see the results immediately, like you, you know, you
- 56:18Speaker 2: you look at it beforehand. You mow and you trim
- 56:20Speaker 2: and do all the stuff you gotta do, and you
- 56:21Speaker 2: look back at it and you can feel proud of it.
- 56:23Speaker 5: You know, Yep, your garden looks nice.
- 56:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah. When I edge my yard, it feels like
- 56:27Speaker 3: I go ahead and you know, like back in the
- 56:29Speaker 3: day when you had to black crown and then you
- 56:30Speaker 3: would just outline and you're like, oh, look at it.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Pop yeah, yeah, picasso me. I'm cross rosso, I'll work
- 56:38Speaker 3: on it. Yeah. But the edging of a yard is phenomenal. Man,
- 56:42Speaker 3: that's so good. That McDonald's sprite good that. Yeah.
- 56:46Speaker 2: When you see that perfectly at the yard, you're like, oh,
- 56:48Speaker 2: maybe I gonna take the other one. When I hate
- 56:50Speaker 2: and I don't know that there's a lover hate on
- 56:52Speaker 2: this one.
- 56:53Speaker 3: And I don't know.
- 56:53Speaker 2: I told my wife this this morning, and she looked
- 56:55Speaker 2: at me and she goes, man, that is really weird.
- 56:57Speaker 2: I don't know why I hate unloading the dishwasher. I mean,
- 57:02Speaker 2: I hate it really. Yeah, I don't know what it is.
- 57:04Speaker 2: I will literally delay unloading the dishwasher. I will load
- 57:09Speaker 2: that thing fifty times before. I just don't like it.
- 57:11Speaker 2: And I don't know why. I don't mind washing clothes,
- 57:15Speaker 2: I don't mind folding clothes. I don't mind doing any
- 57:17Speaker 2: of that stuff. But I do not like unloading the
- 57:21Speaker 2: dishwasher for someone.
- 57:21Speaker 3: I don't know. When you open that dryer door, there's
- 57:25Speaker 3: a joy when you see nothing but emptiness. Yes, yeah,
- 57:31Speaker 3: the washer's done. You open the dryer door, and then
- 57:33Speaker 3: you don't have to pull the clothes before you put
- 57:35Speaker 3: them in the dryer. Yes, oh, okay, because laundry was done.
- 57:40Speaker 6: No, I do.
- 57:41Speaker 10: So.
- 57:41Speaker 2: It's like you're going to transfer, but you open it.
- 57:43Speaker 2: If there's laundry in there, you have to deal with
- 57:45Speaker 2: that first, yep. But when it's empty, you get this
- 57:48Speaker 2: transfer and be done. Now, if it's towels, it's not
- 57:50Speaker 2: as bad because towels are easy to fold. It's almost therapeutic. Now,
- 57:56Speaker 2: do you give it a fluff before you fold?
- 57:58Speaker 5: Always?
- 57:58Speaker 3: I always fluff. I make it warm, and make it warm.
- 58:01Speaker 5: Get the wrinkles out, including the towels, get those fibers
- 58:04Speaker 5: nice and fluffy again.
- 58:05Speaker 3: I tell myself it's to get the wrinkles out, but
- 58:07Speaker 3: it's really to buy myself ten extra minute.
- 58:09Speaker 5: Now, do you guys use the settings for the fabrics
- 58:13Speaker 5: or do you just put it on the timed.
- 58:16Speaker 16: Set?
- 58:17Speaker 3: Yeah? The one drives me crazy.
- 58:19Speaker 5: Yes, are you kidding me? You use the settings like
- 58:21Speaker 5: the ah, do you know how much you are beating
- 58:25Speaker 5: up your clothes?
- 58:26Speaker 12: You are?
- 58:26Speaker 3: Actually, I'm gonna be honest with you. You ready for this?
- 58:29Speaker 2: I I honestly I thought that was a scam. I
- 58:32Speaker 2: thought all those settings were just there to make it
- 58:34Speaker 2: seem like the washing machine was doing more because I
- 58:36Speaker 2: use normal.
- 58:37Speaker 3: That's my setting. Is normal for everything I do not.
- 58:41Speaker 5: And then you wonder why your women do not want
- 58:43Speaker 5: you touching their clothes.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Oh, so I say, it's part of here. Okay, that's
- 58:49Speaker 3: part of normal. We're normal guys.
- 58:51Speaker 5: No, that that's part of your subterfuge.
- 58:54Speaker 3: She doesn't want me touching her clothes for a whole
- 58:56Speaker 3: different reason. It is wild what I can do when
- 58:58Speaker 3: I have a couple of Klauda in me. It's easy.
- 59:01Speaker 2: But yeah, I use the white one occasionally because it
- 59:06Speaker 2: washes with hot water, and that's the only thing like
- 59:08Speaker 2: when you hit the white setting, it sets it and
- 59:10Speaker 2: then you it washes with hot water. That way yourself
- 59:13Speaker 2: gets really really clean.
- 59:14Speaker 5: But like the shirt that you're wearing right now, I
- 59:16Speaker 5: would not put that on high heat. That's that's just
- 59:19Speaker 5: kicking the s out of your fabric.
- 59:20Speaker 3: It is too and it's a little tight today too.
- 59:22Speaker 3: It has nothing to do with me eating.
- 59:25Speaker 5: Absolutely the settings that because when you go for that
- 59:29Speaker 5: time dry, it's the hottest the dryer can get.
- 59:31Speaker 3: Yeah, and but mine has that thing where it cools down.
- 59:34Speaker 5: It's towards the end. At that point, the damage been done.
- 59:38Speaker 9: Man.
- 59:38Speaker 2: I don't pay attention to any of that stuff. But
- 59:40Speaker 2: my wife does not let me wht There are certain
- 59:42Speaker 2: things like I know that She's like, I just if
- 59:44Speaker 2: it's in the laundry, I just set it up to
- 59:46Speaker 2: the side and I'm like, I'm not touching it. I'm
- 59:48Speaker 2: not going to get that thing two sizes too small.
- 59:50Speaker 3: She loves it. There's no way I'm doing that.
- 59:52Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that happened brand new Christmas sweater.
- 59:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that. I don't mind doing that.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Like at least I know my kids can't stand it.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: And that's vacuuming. Oh yeah, I love it, even more
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: so now that I got a new vacuum. I got
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: the same vacuum. I realized I got the same vacuum
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: as Ross does. And it's one of those I didn't
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: plan it.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Dab what I tell you on the break, Jim. Yeah,
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: you guys are gay.
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I went to the most highest reviewed one on Amazon
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: and then I see a video of Ross vacuuming.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: I'm like, hey, I have that vacuum. Hey, that's all right.
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: Remember I went to Ayappa right the premiere showcase for
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: all Things theme parks, you know, all things in here,
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: and bought a vacuum cleaner.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: Did you really?
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: That's what I walked away with my APPA was a
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: brand new vacuum cleaner.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: I like vacuuming the same reason I like mowing the lawn.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: You get to see those little tracks, the tracks you get.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: To see you know you did something because there's evidence
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: there and when it's done, it just looks good. Oh yeah, man,
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: it's good. How about this when it comes to vacuuming.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: If you got the one that Jack and I have,
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: because we'd be like that we have the same vacuum.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: We know, Hey, girl, it's so sweet. It's got the
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: little plastic sea through container.
- 1:01:01Speaker 13: I love that.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: So when you when you get to see it and
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: it's all dancing and tap dancing in there, you see
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: a little whirlwind of dust.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: But your carpet and like that looks fine. Then you
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: go over it with that and that fills it with
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: that that You're like, oh my god, how much carpet
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: do you guys still have?
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: You shouldn't. You should not have carpet in your house.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: A couple of bedrooms, like rug what do you mean?
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: I've got rugs and you know, well, rugs is fine
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: because you can take those out and clean them or
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: wash them or beat them off. Beat you can beat.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: You can beat. It's the rug. First it was the foot.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: You can beat the rug and get that clean. But
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: you can't pull your carpet up and do that. Carpet
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: is nasty, dude. I'd never have carpet again ever. It's
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: never vacuum, yeah, but still it doesn't get it all
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: out of there.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: Man, I do know. You don't know because you can't
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: take it out. They don't wash, but you vacuum and
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: it's in there. I mean you obviously know because you
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: use the vacuum you clean it. You think that vacuum
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: gets every speck of dust and everything out of that car,
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: But it does not. Guys, we think it does a
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: good enough job for us to go to sleep at night. Okay,
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: that's fine. You see what I'm saying. It's like you
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: don't know, so then we're also not going to find out.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: The other thing is I don't like sweeping and mopping,
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: and I don't know why, because I like everything else
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: like that, like the mowing and the and the vacuuming.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: But for some reason I don't like the sweeper mop.
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: See, I still got that robot vacuum. I'm not gonna lie, man.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: It is still kind of controversial how much I use
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: that thing. The roomba. Yeah, the roomba. Yeah. It's because
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: my kid gets a little scared by it. And on
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: the couch, he doesn't get scared by it. It's fascinated. Yeah,
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: he just stares at it and then he chills. Yeah.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: What's he call it? Uh? Car car? Because with the
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: car everything, every car, green car? Yeah, green cars all
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: right here, damn green car. The other day I was like,
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: all right, Bud, all right, four oh seven nine one
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: of four to one textas seven to seven zero three
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: one back in a second.
- 1:02:54Speaker 13: Let's career, what's going on? This is ray mellow. One
- 1:02:58Speaker 13: of the things that I enjoy, but I get a
- 1:03:01Speaker 13: little bit lazy with doing that. People in my hate
- 1:03:04Speaker 13: is doing laundry. I love to separate the clothes, dark
- 1:03:07Speaker 13: in colored clothes, like to wash and drive. But for
- 1:03:10Speaker 13: some reason I have this thing about folding clothes. I
- 1:03:14Speaker 13: get kind of lazy. There are times where I leave
- 1:03:16Speaker 13: the basket full of clothes that are unfolded for a
- 1:03:19Speaker 13: few days, and then I tend to lose a pair
- 1:03:21Speaker 13: of my socks.
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: That's all right, hey, guys. Every day I currently have
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: a dishwasher full of clean dishes, and that's where they're
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: gonna stay for a while because I don't feel like
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: doing it. And that's just where they're gonna live for
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: a while. Hey, Jim, anybody here. Hey, I hate to
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: bust your bubble. Yeah, sure, go ahead. And I hate
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: to say you're wrong. You don't because you're never wrong,
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: You're always right. No I'm not.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: But anyway, you keep saying that a trillion dollars is
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: a million billion dollars, it's a million million, a trillion
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: dollars is a thousand billion dollars.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: So did I say a million billion?
- 1:04:06Speaker 17: Guys?
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: I think I said a million, million, million, million. Yeah, okay,
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: I'm talking me.
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: That's looking more than we're ever gonna worry about.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: So but like he said, you're always right. No stop,
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: get out of here. Gloom, despairing agony on me, Jimmy,
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: Colbert's bawled up top like everyone can see you. Wrinner
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: and Rick Scott, I'll tell you they're the same.
- 1:04:30Speaker 18: I ain't got nothing up top, but I love the
- 1:04:33Speaker 18: show because he's pretty funny dude. He may be bowld
- 1:04:36Speaker 18: as a c ball, I mean, bald, dang almighty, ain't
- 1:04:41Speaker 18: nothing left up her, but he's sure is a funny dude,
- 1:04:43Speaker 18: and I love his show.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Thank you, Budy, appreciate that all right? For seven ninety
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: one six four one text us seven seven zero three one.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: I'm jim, there's deb Hey, Jackson and Ross as well.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: You guys gambling tonight? Oh yeah, how much good has
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: you lost with Mexico?
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: I did lose a little bit on with Mexico. About it.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: I thought they were gonna score three goals. So let
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: me ask you a question. When you can't. Boy, did
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: South Korea turn it around for your bowl?
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: When you when you gamble on this stuff, is it
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: always you have to choose the goal discrepancies?
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: Or can you just go win or lose? Or is
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: it you choose the goal thing because it's more money
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: and twenty twenty six gim You can gamble about anything.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: I know, but I'm asking for you and your gambling habits,
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: like when you gamble on these games, when you gamble
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: tonight on this America game, is it paraguay yep?
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: So you're gambling? So you think you were told me
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: the last time as we were leaving. You think that
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: we're gonna hang at least like three goals on them?
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: Right?
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: I didn't say that. I think we should win. This
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: is a must win for the US, which is why
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: I have gambled for the USA to win tonight. Very nice,
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: am I? Straight up? Right now? I think the odds
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: are like plus one ten or one oh five. And
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: that was my question. So do the odds change if
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: you try to guess the score or if you try
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: to guess the goal discrepancy? In other words, I not
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: only think America is gonna win, We're gonna win by two?
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: Is that up the money? Oh yeah, it doesn't really.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: So if you're going to give up a goal, yeah,
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: you're increasing the odds of your bet. Now I bet
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: TVUSA minus half a goal.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: Okay, I don't know what that means.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Well, that means I'm giving up they So if there's
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: a push, if they if there's a draw, they can draw.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: In a group play, they can draw, right, So if
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: there's a draw, I lose that bet because I'm giving
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: up half a goal. Oh I see, they have to
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: win by at least one goal. Got it for me
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: to collect on that, which is also betting for them
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: to win. I believe these are the same. And what
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: are you guys doing like ten dollars, five dollars bets,
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: twenty dollars bets and anything big up there? I mean
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: SpaceX spending spree today and I don't know how tapped
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: out he is, No you can.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: I think I'm rich now, I got, I got, I
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: got a piece of the biggest company in the world.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: And uh I bet a quarter on tonight's gate, did
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: you really? Yeah? Very nice? Well that's good man. I
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: am proud to say due to South Korea, I had
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: I'm so if you're talking about gambling right now, because
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: I had the best gambling bet of my life last night.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: It was so sick. I watched the South Korea game,
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: and I'm sure not everyone was watching it. South Korea
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: was putting it on. What was it not check Republic,
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: but like, I'm whatever, South Korea was putting it on.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: I was like, South Korea's gonna win this game. But
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: the thing was is that they only had ten minutes left.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: Still took the bet, they scored, and I immediately cashed
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: out this bet. Like as soon as I put the
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: bet in, South Korea scored, waited five more minutes early
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: cash out. I was like, I'm not gonna sweat over
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: these last couple of minutes.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: What's the percentage of the early cash out? Like, if
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: the payoff's gonna be one hundred dollars and they try
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: to pay you out early into the game, is it
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: like thirty bucks or is it sixty bucks?
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: Or it's all going to depend on that original Yeah, okay,
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: that original bet so right now in the hard Rock
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: bet app Team USA is if you you can bet
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: them just straight up to win and it's even money,
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: so you bet twenty five, you're gonna win. You're gonna
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: win twenty five. Okay, there you go, you get back fifty.
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:08:00Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: So but if you bet them minus that half a goal,
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: let's see, it should be it's the same thing. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: yeah yeah. So what do you have to do to
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: get those to increase those percentages? You have to just
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: start guessing scores like dead nuts. And if you don't,
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: if you guess the win but don't guess the score,
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: do you still make some money?
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: Can you do that in the hard right? I think
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: that's a double chance thing. I think you can, but
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: it's almost like a parlay kind of thing. But predicting
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: the score is one of my favorite soccer bets that
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: I love to do, gotcha because when you can walk
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: in and be like, oh, it feels like a three
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: to one in the atmosphere. Yeah, it's a it's a
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: who man? The World Cup tonight. I have fifty dollars
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: on the US flo Do you think this is their
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: best opportunity to win? Is that why you're voting? Betting
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: that much?
- 1:08:47Speaker 17: I have?
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: I'm betting that much because of South Korea? Baby, Like,
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: how long does it take the download that happen make
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: a bet. Is it pretty quick to do that? Rust
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: Rollins did it in about two minutes on the air
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: a month ago, maybe a couple months ago.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: Do you have to put a credit card attached to
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: it or something like that? Yeah, yeah, not a credit card,
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: a debit card, a debit card or whatever.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: I believe. I don't think you can use a credit card. Yeah.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: I don't think you can use a credit card for
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: gambling either, because I think even in stories, I don't
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: believe you can buy lottery tickets with a credit card.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: I think you can buy it with a debit card.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Are you thinking about it?
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: I am by as well. I'm thinking about getting in
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: the hard rock thing. But I don't know what I
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: would bet on, and I would bet so infrequently, but
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: I think I want to do a little bit. It
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: looks a little fun, It looks pretty innocuous. I don't
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: have to bet a whole bunch of money, you know,
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: to get a vibe on it.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: Hard rock has a really like layup bet, you know,
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: sometimes they just really, hey, this is a really good bet.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: You might want to try this one out. But I
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: think it's like a ten or twenty dollars bet just
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: for the US to score tonight and they give you
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: like plus odds. It's kind of like one of their promos.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: So I also have that bet as well.
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: Do you.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Do you keep like like I think Jack does this,
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Like you give yourself at the beginning of the year
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: a certain amount of money to gamble on sports and
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: once that's on, you don't gamble anymore during the year,
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: or do you do that because Jack that's your thing, right, Yeah,
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: you've probably a hundred bucks centers.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: I started the.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Football season with one hundred, then went down then after
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: the Super Bowl and what what was I betting on
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: the Olympics?
- 1:10:13Speaker 16: Oh?
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: Yeah, the Olympic hockey team. Yeah, I got it backed.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: I was at one hundred and one dollars until I
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: put twenty five on Team USA right now? Yeah, right,
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: so I'm betting with this year's football monch. Can I
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: bet on the UFC fight Sunday night?
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: Yeah? You can anything? Welcome, Well that's not anything true,
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: it's not yeah, yeah, legally if you're doing it on
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: the hard rock bet Appeah, there are some limitations on
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: what you can bet on, yeah, but then there are
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: other ways around that, like call she and yeah, I
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: was gonna say the other one I can't remember and
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: call she.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: It still has to be listed, right. You can't just
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: like make up a bet and go take this bet.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: I mean it has to be a bet that they're offering. Correct.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: Yeah I haven't calci yet. Yeah, oh you have. It's
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: still an organic serial to me.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: But speaking of that, when we come back, I want
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: to talk about something that's gonna happen with and your
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: and your AI agent that I think could be a
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: lot of interesting, could lead to some really interesting stuff.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: I'll tell you what that is next.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: You were listening to the Jim Colbert Show on Real
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Radio one to four point one.
- 1:11:17Speaker 19: Over crew, It's Sarah.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: Hello, Jim. I am not happy with you right now.
- 1:11:21Speaker 19: You just spoke about a company that got started in
- 1:11:23Speaker 19: nineteen ninety two and has been in service for over
- 1:11:26Speaker 19: thirty years. Well, you know what, I was born in
- 1:11:29Speaker 19: ninety two and I did not need that remind about over.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: Thirty years old.
- 1:11:34Speaker 19: But also a few days after my thirty fourth birthday,
- 1:11:37Speaker 19: I slept wrong and pulled my back and had to
- 1:11:39Speaker 19: get a steroid shot.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: So there is that.
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: But love you guys, say.
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: Hey there, Casey, Yes, sorry about that. This is Illinois
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: Frank appear in Illinois listening to you guys. I'm the

- 1:11:56Speaker 6: wife's radio was that. Well, you're right, I did not
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: test my talk.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: Well I will start.
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: I'm sorry about that. Jack.
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: I don't annoy you people.
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: I had loved that he's listening from Pennsylvania.
- 1:12:11Speaker 16: During the football season, I played on the hard rock
- 1:12:16Speaker 16: app but I didn't understand what was happening because suddenly
- 1:12:19Speaker 16: I was in all these situations like if this happens
- 1:12:23Speaker 16: and then not so I was losing. I lost, not
- 1:12:27Speaker 16: a whole lot, but and then I just put it
- 1:12:29Speaker 16: down because I thought, you know what, this isn't working
- 1:12:31Speaker 16: for me. But now Jim, that you're going to do it,
- 1:12:33Speaker 16: I think I'm going to do it too. I'm going
- 1:12:35Speaker 16: to go back in there tonight and that Team America
- 1:12:38Speaker 16: goes tam.
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: America Sniper colind Sniper's Complete Sniper.
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: I love it.
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: And by the way, it's Illinois Frank. He's from Illinois.

- 1:12:52Speaker 3: and Ross as well, but that boys got you stumbled dump.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: It's so funny. Jack sends me a text.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: I think he's being a nice guy, right, and he goes, uh,
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: here's a hard rock app thing, right, And I'm like, oh,
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: that's awesome, linking right to it, click on it, boom
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: into my name information. And then I'm doing all the resturing.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: I get to the end and I read why Jack
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: sent me that link. He wasn't being nice. Jack gets
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: a bonus for me signing up under his with his
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: sign up. First of all, both could be true.
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: I could be being nice making it easier for you
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: on something you expressed and interest in, right, And I
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: could get a bonus which I didn't even think of
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: you until I got a text such a Jack, hurry
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: up and send him the lake and get a front bonus.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: And isn't helping one another for a financial bonus the
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: most American thing you can do?
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Ross, I guess it could be. And I'm already terrified.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: I did download the app, so I am now a
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: proud owner of the hard rock bet app.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: Ay way, so have you signed up yet? What do
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: you mean signed up? Dyl?
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: Like?
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: Are you all in? Yeah? I'm in it? But I
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: haven't put any money on it yet because I was
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: just throwing it during the break. I'll put it on
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: there tonight, all right, Yeah, I'll put some money on
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: there tonight and start gambling on like a South Korean

- 1:14:07Speaker 3: engine to me. For me, when it comes to the
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: Men's National.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: Nobody's talking about and they're only talking about puselage. That's
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: all they're talking about. You score tonight, like even if
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: you'll get the side bets, it's all Christian buchlets off.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: It's nobody else on the team.
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: Yep. He is our best player. Yeah, he is our
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: most creative. He that is the rarest type of player
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: that you can find it in Christian in number time.
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: But Tyler Adams is the reason why we will If
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: he plays well, we'll go far.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: So let's just Wednesday, this was released that Visa, the

- 1:14:54Speaker 2: checkout thing that now you can enable your chat butt
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: agent to act on your behalf with your credit card
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: to buy and pay your bills like just via command. Right, Okay,
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: so that's the whole idea, right it says Wednesday, Visa
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: embedded its payment network inside chatgbt, empowering the chatbot to
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: independently shop and complete transactions on behalf of users. Previously,
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: Institute introduced instant checkout late last year to help chat
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: gbt scour the internet for items, but merchants criticized the
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: four percent transaction fee, making the company retire the tool
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: in March. This provides fraud protection and allows users to
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: set spending caps and merchant restrictions. And my thing hold
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: with this is like this, like so if this thing
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: goes sideways, like if your chat GPT that you've logged
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: your Visa card on, I mean, I don't know what
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: your limit could be. It could be what fifteen hundred
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: to twenty grand, fifty grand whatever it is right now
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: that theoretically this thing could hallucinate and go out and
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: spend money on your behalf.
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: This is great news for guys, because you have an
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: excuse now, Yeah, yeah, no money, I didn't buy I
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: didn't buy that, honey.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: I didn't drop nine hundred dollars in the poker room.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: I didn't take ten bad beats. No, that's not true
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: at all.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: You got your wife asking you, uh, honey, do you
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: know what trousers snauzers for? I have no interest in
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: connecting AI to my There is there is.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: There is not a number low enough to tell you
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: the chances of me ever doing that in my life ever,
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: like a never, ever, ever ever would I do that?
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: Could you imagine? Dude?
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: It is like at a trust level that I haven't
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: received yet. Like I'm still weird about asking Google to
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: turn my lights onto my house because we had that.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: We have the smart things and I can just say, hey, Google,
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: turn on the kitchen lights or whatever, and it'll do that.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: And I'm still weirded out by that, much less giving
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: it access to a credit card.
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: Whatever percentage chance of you doing this, and how small
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: it is, it is still a far bigger number than
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: dead ever doing this. Oh yeah, oh yeah, how do
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: you do you guys? Who pays the bills in your house? Chris?
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: He does? Yeah? Yeah, who pays the bills in your house,
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: she does your wife? Yeah, yeah, Jack, you're a bill
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: payer in your house. I assume, come on with my
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: control issues. Yeah, yeah, about you, Jimmy.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: I do not pay the bills in my house. My
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: wife pays the bills, and it has since the beginning
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: of our relationship for twenty two or twenty twenty one,
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: twenty two years now, since we've lived together since four
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: she's paid all of our bills.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: Can I tell you that goes back? I don't know.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: We talked a little bit this morning because of something
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: that happened to us last night. But we talked a
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: little bit this morning about like, you know, what our
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: monthly nut is and this, that and the other. And
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: I'm like, I have no idea, Like I guessed way low.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: She started laughing at me, and I'm like, I have
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: no clue. I think it's dumb. I probably should have
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: more of a more skin in that game, but I
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: do not. Yeah, I pay for my wife's call though.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: I'm just gonna throw that out there.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: That doesn't mean anything. Yeah, it doesn't mean anything. No,
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: it doesn't love my wife.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: You married her, you love her. Yeah, it doesn't have
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: anything in a car well, I mean it's very very
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: awesome of you. But I mean that's a very husbandly.
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: Thing to do. I mean, it is took you a while,
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: but I mean, do you guys have separate accounts. We
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: do have separate accounts, and that's wild. But we have
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: one mutual account. Okay, it's fine, I guess just for
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: bills and whatnot. Yeah.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so she has a financial responsibility that she has
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: a deposit this much money into that account.
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: Yeah, as do you, yep, and then everything gets taken
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: out of that account. But I pay for the car,
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: and yeah, I gotta tell you, it makes me feel
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: like a gorilla. Yeah, well you should think like a gorilla.
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: She deserves that, man. She gave you a beautiful son.
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: She takes good care of you, dude. The fact that
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: she lets you see her naked is worth five more cars,
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: I'll say. And can I tell you I feel the
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: same way. I don't like this topic. Yeah, this topic
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: took her turn. This got weird. It's you made it weird,
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: but they make her weird. I was just being proud
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: that I paid for my wife's car. Yeah, but I
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: mean that's the thing you should be doing anyway, right,
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: Jackson over, you're about to just close his eyes and
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: go to a place.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Jack.
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: I mean he has to come back from that place.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: He lives in that place. I was bowing in the place. Yeah, Jack,
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: would you would you brag about buying your wife a car?
- 1:19:16Speaker 12: Drive?
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: Jack? Get Jack gets it a little bit.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: I'm proud Jack. That's Jack is actually worse. Jack hands
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: his hand me down cars to his family and he
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: gets the brand new car.
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: Is not a bad thing. First of all.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: The one who's gotting that might happen this next time. However,
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: my car, my wife right now is driving a car
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: that I bother. But that's the first you've ever heard
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: that from me.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: Yeah really, And this is the first time you've heard
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: it from me because I just started doing it and it.
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: Still stings whenever I do it. Okay, So, well, you
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: say bought her a car? I mean, aren't you guys?
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: I mean, isn't the family buying the car? I mean
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: she earns money as well, right, And don't you have
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: payments on it? So the bank owns a car. I'm
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: I with my wife.
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: I bought her car out right, buddy, Yeah, there's no payments.
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: So now is that what I sound like, yeah, a
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: little bit like if Chris said the way Chris, If
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: Chris said I bought a car, I mean in bragged
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: about that, would you feel that was weird?
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: Yeah, because I'm the one who bought the car. Yeah exactly,
- 1:20:22Speaker 5: I'll take that credit right back, thank you very much.
- 1:20:26Speaker 5: I just I like the opportunity to be able to
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: walk the talk of I love you, you know. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:32Speaker 5: there's no question whether I like it or not. Money
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: is a great example and a great opportunity to be
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: like like rong side, I got you, as long as
- 1:20:43Speaker 5: you don't use it during a fight.
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh no, this is what I mean. Like, I
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: don't want to come off I don't want this to
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: sound like toxic or anything. I'm just proud. And because
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: if she was a thing and she was like Ross,
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: I asked you to do the dishes yesterday, buddy, and
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: they're not done, and you'll got her go about the car. Yeah,
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: I about the car. I would love these dishes, but
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: I bought the car. And then throw buddy back at
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: her about the car, Buddy, two words, Buddy, two words, Buddy,
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: the pilot on the pilot. But I yeah, I like it.
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: Not getting any.
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you can't. Yes, we can't. Yeah, it's it's
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: a very effective that's.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: The nuke move, right, that's the nuke move Like when
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: a woman withholds sex to a husband.
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: Is the nuclear move right? It is?
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: Is it not?
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: I can't give you the codes, dude. I think it's.
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: I think it's every woman has her own foot.
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: That's the nuclear move to a woman to a man.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: When you threaten to withhold sex from somebody, that's like,
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: that's a marital kind of.
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: Breach of contract.
- 1:21:52Speaker 9: It is.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: I think it's targeted nukes. Not the big one that
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: takes out that ends the world, but it's the one
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: where it caught some damage.
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: Yeah. The only way that that would bring me any
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: damage is that that I was like getting teased, polls, yanked,
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: sniffed and touched and then all of a sudden we
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: just didn't bring it all home. Yeah yeah, yeah, because
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: you didn't put the dishes away. Yeah no, but just like, uh,
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: you know, if I was getting like turned on and
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: then all of a sudden, she just turned off the faucet.
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: M Yeah, it's weird it ever happens for her though,
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: But you guys, do you guys, have you guys have
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: joint accounts, right, No, you don't. You have separate accounts
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: as well. It doesn't happen to her. She likes it.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: She likes my body on top of hers. Yeah, okay, buddy,
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: we can stop what I was talking about. And I
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: was very confused. Alright, seven text us at seven seven
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: zero three one back in a second, go back.
- 1:22:58Speaker 11: You know who?
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: Yeah, favorite see vaguener cledge in the day.
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: It is national we reads beer to today, National Magic Day.
- 1:23:13Speaker 20: And national peer like you wouldn't believe.
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: Yeah, we can fill them.
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: A good weekend, y'all.
- 1:23:20Speaker 21: All right, big dog, I guess I hope you guys
- 1:23:22Speaker 21: are doing well. So you guys talking about things that
- 1:23:24Speaker 21: you like doing and don't like doing. One of the
- 1:23:26Speaker 21: things that irritates me that I want to do every
- 1:23:28Speaker 21: single time is because we do signs and putting and
- 1:23:31Speaker 21: stuff like that. Anytime I see a sign that's crooked
- 1:23:34Speaker 21: or graphics that are crooked, even by a quarter of
- 1:23:36Speaker 21: an inch, I just want to.
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: Rip it all off and do it all over again.
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: Thanks by proud owner of the hard rock app and
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: also seemed to be a proud sucker.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: Of that automatic defeat. All right, welcome back. I'm Jim.
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: There's dead Hello, Yeah, and Ross as well. It's trail
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: stand up tomorrow.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: But you know what the material you're doing tomorrow on
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: the on the old Yachla cruise. Have you nailed it down?
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: Do you think you're gonna go hard in the yard?
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: Are you gonna take it easy?
- 1:24:11Speaker 8: What?
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: What?
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: What can people expect tomorrow from your stand up? Hopefully? Funny?
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: Hopefully yeah, I mean you're always funny. I'm not worried
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: about that. I'm just gonna I know, you have probably
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: about an hour and twenty minutes of material and you
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: have to pick and choose depending on the crowd.
- 1:24:22Speaker 13: Uh.
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: I'm trying to be a little spicy, make it weird,
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: all right.
- 1:24:25Speaker 9: I like that.
- 1:24:26Speaker 3: I like weird you dressing up? I'm gonna try.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: Okay that that's the bigger question. Yeah, because of me,
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: White Ross is gonna wear man. I think you guys
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: are gonna love my setup. I think you're gonna love
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: my setup. No ball jokes tomorrow. Oh there's a.
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: Weird no ball jokes tomorrow. Big Boy maybe finally called
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: Bosley or something. Yeah, not Bosley, No, no, no, Bosley. God,
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: haven't heard that name in forever. I don't even know.
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: I don't know who is the number one hair in
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: playing company now, I don't even know. I think the
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: country of Turkey exactly. That's where you go, right Turkey. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: all right, seven seven zero three one. That's how you
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: text us for sure. Let me ask you guys a
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: question real quick. So do you guys have because you know,
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: wife and I were talking last night and actually this
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: was a couple of days ago when I just kind
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: of got to this topic today. But we were talking
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: the other day about about a movie that we both
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: like that's like a comfort movie, like when we see it,
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: we watch it almost every time. And when I asked
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: her the question today or the other day, and I
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: expected her to like have the answer immediately because I
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: thought that I knew exactly what she would say right
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: off rip. And the whole point was, Okay, what movie
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: if you're sitting around, you're not doing anything, you're chilling
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: out Sunday afternoon kind of thing. And let's say you're
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: flipping through the channels and you see that movie. You
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: stop on it every single time because it's a movie
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: that both of you like and it's kind of a
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: comfort movie. For both of you, maybe a movie you
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: started watching together when you were first started dating or
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: just go together.
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: Do you have one of those? Yes, what is it
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: for you? It is the Fifth Element, the Fifth Element,
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: the Fifth Element? Is that a Bruce Willis movie? That
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: is but there's a reason behind it. Why is that
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: that's their movie? That's our movie? I thought that was
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: the question you it is your movie. What I'm saying
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: is that's the movie. How many times have you seen
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: it together?
- 1:26:20Speaker 8: All?
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: A fair amount? Yeah, fair like three or four? Five times?
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: I would say like six. And it's it's a movie
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: that maybe.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: You watched early in your relationship and it's just one
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: of those things where it's like the oh, Fifth Element,
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: it's like our movie. They have artwork dedicated to this movie.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: But yeah, pretty damn cool, is it really?
- 1:26:34Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: Oh I remember that. Yeah, so I'm a big Fifth Element.
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: We went to the movie theater for like the I
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: forgot what anniversary it was, but then it was re
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: released for the remaster or something. Yeah, so we went
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: out to the movie theater. It was one of our
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: first dates. Also. The Fifth Element rips. It's one of
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: my favorite and I think it's a pretty much a
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: perfect sci fi movie.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: Do you guys have one of these? Do you and
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: Chris have one of these movies where it's just suck?
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: Because look, my wife and I have different taste in movies,
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: like I like action movies like Jason Bourne kind of
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: stuff and uh and UH like a spy thrillers and
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: stuff like that, and she doesn't really like those movies.
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: So for us to find a movie that we have
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: common ground in, and we found one. And when I
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: told her she immediately because when she guessed, I was like, no, no, no, no,
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: I thought you would get this immediately. When I told her,
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: she goes, oh, yeah, definitely, no question. And this on
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: ours is a classic and I think everybody would agree that,
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: Like it's a classic.
- 1:27:25Speaker 5: I would say for us to be Princess Bride. Oh really, yeah,
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: that's a good one.
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: That is.
- 1:27:29Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: I don't think she's even seen Princess Bride. But I
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: don't know the Jack. Do you guys have one that's
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: awesome that you said Princess Bride?
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: Jack? What was your movie? I don't know.
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: I can't think of one that we both like that
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: kind of fit that. Yeah, because you guys are in
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: the same boat that we're in right. Your movie styles
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: are way different.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: Yeah. She doesn't like anything with action, drama or or anything. Yeah, comedy,
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: if it's comedy of feel.
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: Safe John Hughes eighties fell Yeah.
- 1:28:03Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you know, but those are the things like,
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: for a what do you think ours was?
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: Like?
- 1:28:07Speaker 3: You take a shot? American American Sniper delivered to American
- 1:28:13Speaker 3: Sniper are the two best booking answers of all time
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: American Born Killers No No, And I don't know why
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: she likes it so much. And to be honest with you,
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: I think I kind of fell in love with the
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: movie because she likes it so much. Because when she
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: when we sit and watch it, like she smiles the
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: entire time. It's dirty Dancing. Oh really, yeah, Dirty Dancing
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: is like our movie did you are you throwing up?
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: No?
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: I thought you were throwing up?
- 1:28:37Speaker 9: No?
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: No, wow, I like it when you're really cute. Yeah,
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: dirty Dancing was.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: I mean, when I hit her with it, I said,
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: it's gotta be dirty Dancing, right, and she goes, oh, yeah,
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: it's got to be it because that was one of
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: the first movies that I remember her telling me that
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: she liked a lot.
- 1:28:49Speaker 5: I don't think I've ever seen the whole thing.
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: Oh really, yeah, I mean it sounds like a great movie.
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: Oh okay, what about havena Knights No, definitely not movie.
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: But because I think Patrick Swayzey this he goes on
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: the list of one of the most like overrated actors
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: of all time. I mean, like right up there with
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: Keanu Reeves. I think he's one of those guys, that
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: guy super famous with very very little acting ability. I
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: mean really, I don't think I mean, have you not
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: seen Ghosts? I mean ghost is a good movie, but
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: I don't think he's the reason it's a good movie.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: I think, you know, I think Demmy Moore is really
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: good in that movie. I think Whoopy Goldberg's really good
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: in that movie. I think other people stole that movie.
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: I think Patrick Swayzey was just in that movie.
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: It was the It was the O G Ghost, the
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: first guy, the Italian guy. I forgot what his name is,
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: but he's dead now he's a literal ghost. Oh he
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: was the guy had the weird face. He's the guy
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: was in he was in Fast Time as the origement
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: High as the science teacher ruined me when I was
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: a kid watching that scene. Really oh dude, Night Terrors
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: ruined me. Wait which scene it was when he when
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: Patrick trying to learn how to hit the can or
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: he's trying to learn as a ghost to touch things
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: and move things in the real world. I mean that
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: Italian Krusty the clown looking dude. Yeah right, good, He's
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: hideous and he was probably the most homely person I've
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: ever met, ever seen in my life through cinema.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: Search the search the classroom seen from Fast Times at
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: Ridgemont High where he's the science teacher and they're gonna
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: like dissect the pig.
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: You remember that scene. Yes, that's the same guy, right, Yes,
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: it's the same guy from the sub Artist. Yeah, mister Vargas,
- 1:30:22Speaker 3: that's exactly it. Vincent Yeah, Shia Belly Yeah, yeah, he
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: passed away a few years back. Yeah. He is very talented,
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: one of the best actors. And it's because of and
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: this is where I'm going with this is it's his look.
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: And that's one thing that you're I think you're overlooking
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: when it comes to Patrick Swayzee or Keanu Reeves is
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: that there is a weird subconscious X factor from face
- 1:30:45Speaker 3: to screen to audience. And Keanu Reeves I think has
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: proven that he is a trusted mainstream actor because we
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: kind of like looking at his face. It doesn't jump out,
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: it doesn't distract. And I would say the same thing
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: with Swayzey.
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: And I would agree, But I don't really ask him
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: to create a lot of I mean, his his movies
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: after the Vampire movie, after he did Dracula and and
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: single handedly ruined one of the best performances of a
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: Dracula of all time. Gary Oldman's is just one of
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: It's a it's paralyzingly good. And he ruined that movie
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: single handedly with his terrible accent and his terrible acting.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: But it's so funny because Shia la Buff did a
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: movie with him, and we just did Shia for Trivia,
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: and Shia actually mentioned seeing him smoke cigarettes caused him
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: to quit smoking cigarettes because he held uh Keanu Reeves
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: in such high regard. He felt that smoking was below him,
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: like it almost it almost de deified him in in
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: the eyes of Shia la Buff. He carried him that high.
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: They were in the movie Constantine together.
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and Constantine ripped.
- 1:31:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: I thought so. I thought that was a good movie.
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: Look at a look at that. I wasn't expecting you
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: to say that that's what's up his performance though, I yeah,
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: in Constantine. Yeah, I don't know, man, I've not seen
- 1:31:58Speaker 3: him in a good I've not seen him.
- 1:32:00Speaker 5: Know if he was good if you would notice though, because.
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: Well is he good looking? Oh yeah, So that's the thing,
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: is like he's just good to look at him. No,
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: he's he.
- 1:32:12Speaker 5: I mean, once you, once you hear David Beckham speak,
- 1:32:16Speaker 5: you realize there are some people who should just show
- 1:32:19Speaker 5: and not tell.
- 1:32:20Speaker 3: Right right right now, right. And I think that's what
- 1:32:21Speaker 3: they asked of him later in his career.
- 1:32:23Speaker 5: But I've loved Keanu now. I loved him since Dangerous Liaisons. Yeah,
- 1:32:28Speaker 5: he wasn't the strongest actor in that is a period piece,
- 1:32:31Speaker 5: but I liked him in that. I liked him in Speed,
- 1:32:34Speaker 5: I liked him in Constantine. I loved him in the
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: Matrix movies.
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: And again the Matrix movies. He very he says very little,
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: and he just did the acting thing and he was
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: just basically Keanu Reeves in those cool outfits.
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: John Wick. Yeah. Well, and all of these things have
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: something in common, which is they're leading roles. And I
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: think if you ask any actor to your point, Jim
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: of like, I don't know how good of an actor
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: he is. Well, A huge thing in leading roles is
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: that you just got to look serious. You just got
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: to be able to pull off a dramatic look and
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: a dramatic vibe. It's not that big of a stretch
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: for actors to play the leading role. Daniel Craig, I
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: believe he's been on record saying that he can't wait.
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: Remember when he got all that heat about like not
- 1:33:15Speaker 3: necessarily loving the Bond franchise for that couple of weeks
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: that he had some weird poll quotes. That's what he
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: was referring to, is that I can't wait to go
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: and stretch my wings because I'm Daniel Craig is a
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: classically trained actor, but he's only being told to say
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: yes dramatic.
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: And then he goes back to and does like knives
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: out And I mean that series of movies is they
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: are great, And I don't know if you are a
- 1:33:38Speaker 2: fan of those.
- 1:33:38Speaker 3: I think they've been vulnerable. They're so fun. The same
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: thing with Christian Bale. Christian Bale phenomenal actor, but he
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: also looks at Batman and was like, I mean, there's
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: not much that I can really do with Batman.
- 1:33:51Speaker 5: And it's the same on the actor's side, right, Jamie
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: Lee Curtis was everyone remembers her legs and everything else
- 1:33:57Speaker 5: from True Lies, but then you know, to stretch her
- 1:34:00Speaker 5: acting wings. She's also in Knives Out.
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean she's been in a bunch of stuff.
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: I mean, she was in that movie with Is It
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: Not True Romance? What was the one with Schwarzenegger.
- 1:34:10Speaker 3: That's the one I just mentioned. Yeah, True Lies, that's
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: the good one there, and then Trading Place with Places.
- 1:34:15Speaker 5: Trading Places, that's the one where everyone.
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: As a scream queene. Right, So I mean, really, to
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: be honest with you, even have a career after that.
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: Maybe some of her family family lineage helped out there,
- 1:34:26Speaker 2: but I don't know. I mean the first scream queen
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: to my knowledge, Yeah, I think very first. Yeah, well
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: not the very first. But for blockbuster Hollywood film.
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: Could her mom be considered from Birds? Yeah, oh, you're right,
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: her mom would be who is that? Gently?
- 1:34:47Speaker 5: But then you'd have to go back to Bello Lagosi and.
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean.
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: No, no, not at all actually, uh but yeah, man,
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: And then with Jimmy Lee Curtis, she did like she
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: did a bunch of stuff. She's been she's been great.
- 1:35:02Speaker 5: Tippy Hedrin was the one who was in Birds as
- 1:35:04Speaker 5: the mother of Melanie Griffith.
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: Yes, okay, that's right. Okay. Oh, Texas says they just
- 1:35:10Speaker 3: saw a disclosure day and they said it's absolutely phenomenal.
- 1:35:13Speaker 3: Now I want to go.
- 1:35:14Speaker 5: Have you guys seen the trailer where I think it's
- 1:35:16Speaker 5: Emily Blunt where she's a meteorologist and she starts speaking
- 1:35:21Speaker 5: in an alien language. No, watch that trailer and she
- 1:35:24Speaker 5: starts like clicking yes, and she does that for real,
- 1:35:29Speaker 5: she learned that.
- 1:35:30Speaker 3: Real alien language language. Exactly.
- 1:35:34Speaker 5: It's it's it's it's creepy. She thinks she's speaking. She
- 1:35:39Speaker 5: doesn't realize that she's speaking in an alien language. She's
- 1:35:42Speaker 5: a meteorologist live on TV. Yeah, I have not seen
- 1:35:45Speaker 5: watch watch that. Yeah, that's I've only seen one bad
- 1:35:48Speaker 5: review of it, and it was in the It was
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: from the BBC. That's the only bad review I've seen
- 1:35:54Speaker 5: in the movie. I said, it was like an extent.
- 1:35:56Speaker 5: Their review was, this is a long version of the Spiles.
- 1:36:00Speaker 5: This is like an episode, a long episode of X files,
- 1:36:03Speaker 5: is what they what they said. Okay, I'm here for that,
- 1:36:05Speaker 5: and they're just mad because the Aliens are coming to America.
- 1:36:09Speaker 5: It's funny. Do you guys read reviews? See if it's
- 1:36:13Speaker 5: a really big movie that I really want to see,
- 1:36:15Speaker 5: like Titanic. I will avoid all press at every case
- 1:36:20Speaker 5: because I do not want your opinion either to glorify
- 1:36:24Speaker 5: or denigrate a film that I'm really looking forward to.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: Trailers, Yes, because I don't want to If I know
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: I want to see a movie, I don't want to
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: see something that's in the movie that I'm now waiting
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: for to happen, like connecting the scene I saw on
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: the trailer with what I'm watching in real time.
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: I'd rather just be immersed in the price and experience.
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and you can almost kind of predict that too,
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: like when you see the surroundings of that scene, Oh no,
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: what's going to happen here? Yeah, it kind of sucks.
- 1:36:52Speaker 2: I do like reading reviews because I don't want to
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: waste time. And I have a few people that were
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: back in the day that would review movies. I would
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: read it. I'll be like, Okay, that person knows what
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: they're talking about. We have similar taste in movies. If
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: they liked it. Chances are I'm gonna like it, and
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: i'd go. If not, I'd be like, well, I wait
- 1:37:08Speaker 2: for it to hit video or you know, hit streaming
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: or whatever. I mean, just think about that. A Spielberg
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: alien film just as dropping. And sure we're talking about
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: it right now, but imagine twenty five years ago a
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: Spielberg movie. Imagine imagine. I mean we had one years
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: War of the World, right.
- 1:37:24Speaker 3: Yeah, and then before that in seventies he had close encounters.
- 1:37:28Speaker 3: But look at War of the World's Remember I remember
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: Super I remember the vibe when those movies came out
- 1:37:33Speaker 3: of Like damn, dude, Spielberg got another alien movie. Like
- 1:37:36Speaker 3: this is huge news.
- 1:37:37Speaker 5: We're gonna be talking about alien stuff. And would you
- 1:37:40Speaker 5: do that? I mean that you heard it here first?
- 1:37:42Speaker 5: Oh really the last newscast of the night.
- 1:37:44Speaker 3: Yea whatt you got? Oh yeah, all right, four seven
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: nine one text us at seven seven zero three one.

- 1:37:56Speaker 9: I buy her dirty dance and stuff. But I remember
- 1:37:59Speaker 9: when Dirty Dan was at the Doctor Phillips Center. I
- 1:38:02Speaker 9: actually saw Jimmy and Tory walking in through the window
- 1:38:06Speaker 9: when we were taking pictures, and Jimmy didn't look that
- 1:38:09Speaker 9: happy to be there.
- 1:38:11Speaker 3: It was good. Jim show a hot take.
- 1:38:15Speaker 17: I was in Japan when The Fifth Element came out.
- 1:38:20Speaker 17: It was the first movie that was Cinema X, which
- 1:38:25Speaker 17: is all the surround twenty two speakers, and it was
- 1:38:28Speaker 17: the first movie that was translated subtitle into Japanese language,
- 1:38:34Speaker 17: the full thing without anything, and it was a blast.
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: I love that movie. Man, I don'ta watch it again.
- 1:38:41Speaker 3: I'll see them making fun of my acting ability again.
- 1:38:45Speaker 20: How would you like it if I make fun of

- 1:40:09Speaker 1: maybe win a prize. It's time to pick the porn

- 1:40:19Speaker 2: pick the porn. Here are three actual adult film titles
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: and one lie sitting on a park bench eating Spaetios
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: out of a can with a plastic spoon.
- 1:40:26Speaker 3: Wondering what happened?
- 1:40:29Speaker 5: Oh, Lisa, don't laugh makes me wonder if you've been there?
- 1:40:31Speaker 6: Girl?
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: All right, all you have to do is find the
- 1:40:34Speaker 3: fake you here, Lisa? Are you ready? Yes?
- 1:40:36Speaker 19: I am?
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: Number one, Backdoor Belogey, number two, debriefed, number three, What's
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: but got to do with this? Or lastly or lastly
- 1:40:53Speaker 2: whack Them? Which of those is not an actual adult
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: film title? The no, that's absolutely true. Really, Whackham is
- 1:41:03Speaker 2: an actual adult film title, and it, my friends, is
- 1:41:06Speaker 2: self explanatory described the cover.
- 1:41:08Speaker 3: Now, I will not two, three, four or two or
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: four or five? Let's go four?
- 1:41:13Speaker 18: Four?
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: Is Big John? Big John? How you doing good?
- 1:41:17Speaker 9: Great?
- 1:41:18Speaker 3: How you doing guys? Doing good? Buddy?
- 1:41:19Speaker 2: Which one of these is not an actual adult film title?
- 1:41:21Speaker 2: Number one, Backdoor Balogey?
- 1:41:24Speaker 3: Number two? Debrief or lastly, what's butt got to do
- 1:41:27Speaker 3: with it?
- 1:41:30Speaker 6: Man?
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: I gotta go with the first one. That's the one.
- 1:41:34Speaker 3: But you're letner you know your titles?
- 1:41:40Speaker 12: Because I think I was in the I think I
- 1:41:41Speaker 12: was in the other one.
- 1:41:42Speaker 2: That brief Okay, okay, let's get you out of here
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: quick before you say something dumber. Yeah, backg bloney is
- 1:41:50Speaker 2: not real.
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: I made that up.
- 1:41:51Speaker 2: Debriefed is an actual adult film title, and so is
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: what's butt got to do with.
- 1:41:55Speaker 3: It is debriefed. The letter d hythe and breath it's
- 1:41:59Speaker 3: d e E hyphen briefed, so it's okay, yeah, debriefed,
- 1:42:03Speaker 3: and where it's like, yeah, yeah, debriefed.
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: You know, I mean you got briefs on right. Do
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: you know the underwear are called briefs? Yeah, okay, very good.
- 1:42:10Speaker 3: I did not understand. I was wondering what debriefed briefs?
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: Yeah, your briefs. Well, debrief is also one word. It is,
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: but they have it hyphenated debrief right.
- 1:42:21Speaker 22: As to take the briefs, I'd like to think there's
- 1:42:26Speaker 22: a couple of a couple others that did not make
- 1:42:28Speaker 22: the list that we're not all that good today is
- 1:42:30Speaker 22: making ends meet and dead men don't wear condoms, don't
- 1:42:35Speaker 22: explain it, don't know, dead men don't Actually that's a
- 1:42:40Speaker 22: real one, and describe the title the cover of that.
- 1:42:43Speaker 2: I don't they don't use the word condom either. I
- 1:42:45Speaker 2: put that in there because I hate that other word.
- 1:42:48Speaker 3: The art work. Yeah, yeah, I don't like that one.
- 1:42:50Speaker 3: I don't care for that, so I don't. I don't know.
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: It's a little too crass for some reason. What I know, buddy, listen.
- 1:42:56Speaker 2: Because because they said I know that that's hot, I said,
- 1:43:01Speaker 2: back to a blooney, but I won't say rubber, I don't.
- 1:43:04Speaker 3: I don't know. That is odd. Yeah, I do not
- 1:43:06Speaker 3: know why I got it. I know how weird it is.
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: We just really think I'm chooser battles. No, we do,
- 1:43:11Speaker 3: but that is an odd one. What do you got
- 1:43:14Speaker 3: from thoughts coming up?
- 1:43:14Speaker 9: All?
- 1:43:15Speaker 13: Right?
- 1:43:15Speaker 3: So I don't want to overhype this or anything, but
- 1:43:17Speaker 3: I have a medical condition. What I have something wrong?
- 1:43:22Speaker 3: I've got something wrong. I'll show it to you. Stop.
- 1:43:26Speaker 3: What did you figure this out? Honestly, sad news. Probably
- 1:43:30Speaker 3: like two two and a half years ago.
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: You found out you have a medical issue two and
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: a half years ago, and this is the first that
- 1:43:36Speaker 2: we're hearing of it.
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: Yeah, now, why would you do that?
- 1:43:39Speaker 12: Well?
- 1:43:39Speaker 3: How serious is it? Especially when you're hear.
- 1:43:41Speaker 2: Us talk about life imaging all the time, and how
- 1:43:42Speaker 2: you gotta get over there and get scanned and make
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: sure you go okay.
- 1:43:46Speaker 3: Well, okay, So how serious is it? It has just
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: grown to be very serious and I am currently in pain,
- 1:43:54Speaker 3: a perpetual state of pain, especially when I do this
- 1:43:57Speaker 3: very one common human thing. And it is starting to
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: jump up a little bit more and more. Two years ago,
- 1:44:03Speaker 3: when it first showed up, I was like, oh, I
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: should probably do something about that, And now here I
- 1:44:09Speaker 3: am two years later, going ah, I should have done
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: something about that.
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: You are the You are the person that we talk
- 1:44:16Speaker 2: about in the life imaging spot. You are the guy who, oh,
- 1:44:19Speaker 2: that'll get better, will rip some dirt on it. Time
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: was time is the greatest healing?
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: Yeah, ross, Yeah, But this wound I got wounded, wound wood,
- 1:44:28Speaker 3: this medical condition, this thing, I don't know what to
- 1:44:31Speaker 3: call it. I don't think it's a life imaging thing.
- 1:44:33Speaker 3: You know, it's wild. A doctor probably can help you
- 1:44:35Speaker 3: call it something. I don't think a doctor is also
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: gonna help me out with this. Oh, A doctor's an't
- 1:44:40Speaker 3: gonna help you help you out with a medical condition.
- 1:44:42Speaker 3: It's I don't know if it is, Steve, I'll show
- 1:44:45Speaker 3: it to you, guys. I don't want you. I don't
- 1:44:46Speaker 3: Where is it? Okay, dude, stop it seriously? No no, no, no,
- 1:44:51Speaker 3: no no, it's not no, Jim, it's not there. I'll
- 1:44:58Speaker 3: tell you when we come back. I'll show it to you, guys,
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: but you will have to show me yours whoa I'll
- 1:45:04Speaker 3: show you might have shown me. I did this at
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: the bus stop and it did not turn out. Well,
- 1:45:10Speaker 3: I have something wrong. I will show you what's wrong.
- 1:45:13Speaker 3: I'll tell you I have to break where this resides
- 1:45:16Speaker 3: on my body. All right, we do not have to
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: show you though, right, No, all right? Four O seven
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: nine four one text us seven seven zero three one
- 1:45:23Speaker 3: back in a second, raw sods.

- 1:45:27Speaker 12: the Bourbon bus, watching you picking up money on that app,
- 1:45:30Speaker 12: watching what was the Cleveland game or something? Yep, jack, right,
- 1:45:34Speaker 12: you gotta fess up.
- 1:45:35Speaker 3: You know we're ever referral every dollar, get.
- 1:45:38Speaker 12: A friend on board, all the bonuses. I'm starting to
- 1:45:41Speaker 12: think if I was at a gas station quarter fell
- 1:45:44Speaker 12: out of my pocket, you would text me and asked
- 1:45:46Speaker 12: me if I was gonna pick that up?
- 1:45:47Speaker 3: What loha? Shame on you, sir, shame on you.
- 1:45:53Speaker 6: What up?
- 1:45:53Speaker 3: Guys sports from Actually, you know what, I'm so upset.
- 1:45:57Speaker 3: I can't even do. What the hell is Patrick Swayze?
- 1:46:01Speaker 3: You taking strays for on the Jim Colbert Show Patrick swayzey?
- 1:46:04Speaker 3: Oh yeah he has an icon, well, Jimmy, Patrick Swayze's overrated.
- 1:46:08Speaker 13: Yes, come on, man, you you do realize the Double
- 1:46:12Speaker 13: deucee would be shut down right now for watching Patrick Swaye.
- 1:46:14Speaker 3: The Roadhouse, which is closed, which is don't get me
- 1:46:18Speaker 3: started on tu Wan food.
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: Thanks for everything, Julie, Yeah, okay, that The Roadhouse performance
- 1:46:25Speaker 2: is truthfully one of the worst acting performances from a
- 1:46:28Speaker 2: major star ever.
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: It is awful. Pain don't hurt confession. Oh it's terrible.
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: Never seen it? Oh my god, dude. I mean it's
- 1:46:37Speaker 3: a it's a funny, fun kind of movie to kind
- 1:46:40Speaker 3: of corny. Is it supposed to be Yeah? I mean
- 1:46:43Speaker 3: I don't know. It's just it's supposed to be funny
- 1:46:45Speaker 3: and corny. I mean I don't know. I it'supposed to be.
- 1:46:47Speaker 2: Funny or corny or not because it's pretty. It's it's
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: I mean, look, here's the thing. It's just not a
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: good movie. He's a bad actor, and it's not a
- 1:46:55Speaker 2: good movie, but it's kind of fun to watch because
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: it's so corny.
- 1:46:58Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:46:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that he doesn't like having fun watching movies.
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: So god, I do love having I do love having
- 1:47:04Speaker 2: fun watching movies. I just need to be a little
- 1:47:06Speaker 2: bit challenge, you know, anything wrong with that. I'm not saying,
- 1:47:10Speaker 2: you know, Roadhouse is passing the f cat.
- 1:47:12Speaker 3: I'm just it's not. It's a fun time I saw it. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:47:16Speaker 3: it's a reflection of the time. Yeah. My favorite part
- 1:47:19Speaker 3: was the is it Jeff Healey? The Jeff Healey band
- 1:47:22Speaker 3: playing was my favorite part of the movie.
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: All right, anytime you have denim tops and Denham bottoms.
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: All right, all right, welcome back to the Jim corpor Show.
- 1:47:30Speaker 2: We're already at one O four point one.
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: I am Jim. There's deb Hello Jack and Ross has
- 1:47:34Speaker 3: some thoughts. Let's get him. It's weird.
- 1:47:37Speaker 9: Just call MO.
- 1:47:38Speaker 3: It's funny. Just call MO dot com. Sometimes just all MO.
- 1:47:42Speaker 3: It's compelled. Today it's Ross Thoughts. Today's Ross Thoughts is
- 1:47:49Speaker 3: brought to you by Personal Injury Attorney Mode to it
- 1:47:52Speaker 3: injured on the go. Just call MO. Just call MO
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: dot com. Recently had a friend reach out after our
- 1:47:57Speaker 3: car accident hit him up boom. She was so surprised
- 1:48:01Speaker 3: with the end result and it made me feel good.
- 1:48:03Speaker 3: Just call MO dot com whether it's a slip and
- 1:48:05Speaker 3: follower car accident, MO. Just three letters, just one word
- 1:48:09Speaker 3: has got you covered. Now, Guys, I kind of hyped
- 1:48:12Speaker 3: this up and told you that I have a medical
- 1:48:14Speaker 3: thing going on. Yeah, and I'm a little embarrassed by
- 1:48:17Speaker 3: it because it's definitely one of those things that you're like, oh,
- 1:48:20Speaker 3: I should probably do that, and then you don't do it,
- 1:48:21Speaker 3: and then it's like it's like wisdom teeth. There's like
- 1:48:24Speaker 3: a wisdom teeth injury. Yeah, yeah, yeah, because right now
- 1:48:27Speaker 3: I also need to get my wisdom teeth taken out.
- 1:48:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: I mean you got a lot going on, buddy, I know,
- 1:48:31Speaker 2: and you he here's the thing about the wisdom toothing, Like,
- 1:48:33Speaker 2: just give me a heads up. Okay, the wisdom tooth
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: thing is gonna be this. It's gonna be tolerable, tolerable, tolerable,
- 1:48:40Speaker 2: and then unbelievably intolerable. Like it goes from zero to
- 1:48:46Speaker 2: ten pretty darn quick. So that's why you need to
- 1:48:48Speaker 2: kind of preemptively get that out of their.
- 1:48:50Speaker 3: Buddy, Well, that's kind of exactly where I'm at with
- 1:48:53Speaker 3: this other medical condition. Okay, it was tolerable. It was tolerable.
- 1:48:57Speaker 3: It was like whatever, my body will fix itself. You know,
- 1:49:02Speaker 3: my check engine light is on, all right, but it's
- 1:49:04Speaker 3: all right. Sometimes they go off. So I'm yeah, you
- 1:49:08Speaker 3: still got low mileage on your body. Yeah, you're a
- 1:49:10Speaker 3: low mileage you know, thirty five years old or whatever
- 1:49:13Speaker 3: you are. Now I feel like the you know, the
- 1:49:15Speaker 3: trade and value is pretty high. It's still good. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:49:18Speaker 3: kick the tires paid for. Yeah, this is uh, but
- 1:49:22Speaker 3: this is what happens. Now. When I walk, I hurt.
- 1:49:25Speaker 16: You.
- 1:49:25Speaker 3: When you walk, you hurt. When I walk, I hurt. Okay,
- 1:49:29Speaker 3: now it is because about two years ago, maybe two
- 1:49:33Speaker 3: and a half, I don't know what happened, but I
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: stepped into something and I knew something didn't leave. You
- 1:49:42Speaker 3: stepped into something. It's something in my home.
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: Something something got in there, and that right, you mean
- 1:49:49Speaker 2: like a splinter or something like that, or a shard
- 1:49:51Speaker 2: of glass or something, or I'm trying to see.
- 1:49:54Speaker 3: Tell me, Jack, come on, dude, got your foot right
- 1:49:57Speaker 3: in his face. Put it in the camera. Put in
- 1:50:01Speaker 3: the camera. All right, I know you can't. You won't
- 1:50:04Speaker 3: be able to see it. It's really really hard to see.
- 1:50:06Speaker 3: But I have something in my heel, guys, and it's
- 1:50:08Speaker 3: starting to hurt. It's either something in my heel or sciatica,
- 1:50:12Speaker 3: and I don't think it's Why are you touching his foot?
- 1:50:15Speaker 4: Dude?
- 1:50:15Speaker 3: Touch on? Why are you touching his foot? Because I
- 1:50:18Speaker 3: know if I find the spot, it's gonna hurt him
- 1:50:20Speaker 3: it did you just got it? You just got it? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:50:24Speaker 3: So what I okay? So what do I do? You
- 1:50:28Speaker 3: go to a podiatrist? But I'm a grown man. Yeah,
- 1:50:32Speaker 3: but it's not.
- 1:50:32Speaker 2: Is it a pediatrist thing? Or do you just have
- 1:50:34Speaker 2: something in your heel that's been there a while? You
- 1:50:36Speaker 2: ever heard of sucking salve? What is a sucking salve?
- 1:50:41Speaker 9: Well?
- 1:50:41Speaker 3: I don't even know where you can get one anymore.
- 1:50:43Speaker 2: But it's it's an old it's an old remedy and
- 1:50:46Speaker 2: you heat up this save that looks kind of like Plato,
- 1:50:49Speaker 2: but it's a little bit more liquid than that, and
- 1:50:51Speaker 2: you put it on that Are you smelling your hand
- 1:50:55Speaker 2: after touching his feet?
- 1:50:57Speaker 3: What in the absolute F is going on on over there?
- 1:51:01Speaker 3: What is happening over there? I'm happy to explain. Oh no,
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:51:05Speaker 2: I there is a bottle of gel I thank you
- 1:51:08Speaker 2: carrying connects. Uh, it's the label is on it, but
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: it looks like it could be hand sanitizer. But there
- 1:51:15Speaker 2: is nothing on it that says it is hand sanitizer,
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: So you don't know what it is.
- 1:51:20Speaker 3: Don't know.
- 1:51:21Speaker 2: Put some in my hand because I figure after touching
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: his feet then I smelled it. I'm like, I'm pretty
- 1:51:27Speaker 2: sure that's hand sand. Okay, good, yeah, foot. Yeah, But
- 1:51:31Speaker 2: if you find where this is and you put this
- 1:51:33Speaker 2: heated salve on your foot, the idea is that as
- 1:51:37Speaker 2: it cools congeals, I guess and pulls whatever could be
- 1:51:40Speaker 2: in there out of there. Do we know it's not
- 1:51:42Speaker 2: plantar faciitis, Well, that would be on his heel more
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: than it's than the bottom.
- 1:51:48Speaker 3: On the back.
- 1:51:49Speaker 2: It would be on the back of it because a
- 1:51:50Speaker 2: plant refestiotis is also called bone spur, right, so you
- 1:51:53Speaker 2: would see it on the back of your foot. It
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: wouldn't be on the bottom of your heel on I believe.
- 1:51:57Speaker 3: Yeah, when I had it it is.
- 1:51:59Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like that tendon that gets really tight between.
- 1:52:05Speaker 3: Oh it hurts so bad, but it hurts so bad.
- 1:52:08Speaker 5: Jimmy's right. A drawing staff. You can get them at CBS.
- 1:52:12Speaker 9: Uh.
- 1:52:12Speaker 5: They're for ingrown hairs, boils, cysts, for spinners, pieces of glass.
- 1:52:18Speaker 3: This thing sucks, man, You.
- 1:52:20Speaker 2: Get Okay, So when you feel around there, can you
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: feel like a bump or a note? You got a Yeah,
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: that's probably a spur, Dude, I got something in there.
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: You probably got a bone spur. Let me tell you
- 1:52:28Speaker 2: something you can You can't really okay, listen, listen, you
- 1:52:34Speaker 2: can't really operate on it.
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: What do you mean? That's what I'm telling you.
- 1:52:39Speaker 6: You know what.
- 1:52:39Speaker 3: It's from wearing bad shoes. You're gonna have to get
- 1:52:44Speaker 3: some sketches or something. Dude. Actually, no, it's the threat
- 1:52:47Speaker 3: of the draft to Vietnam, which gives you a bone spurs.
- 1:52:52Speaker 3: It's military service, does it? So when I flex my
- 1:52:55Speaker 3: foot there's a white bubble that kind of pops up.
- 1:52:59Speaker 3: Dude that they these guys I think, are right. That's
- 1:53:01Speaker 3: not a bone sperm it is. I mean, that's exactly
- 1:53:03Speaker 3: what it looks at. My mother in law had one
- 1:53:05Speaker 3: so bad that she had to cut the back of
- 1:53:07Speaker 3: her tennis shoes out.
- 1:53:09Speaker 5: Well, see, I think what the difference is is that
- 1:53:12Speaker 5: you remember it happening. Yeah, and then so were you
- 1:53:16Speaker 5: walking barefoot in the house.
- 1:53:17Speaker 3: But it couldn't be a happened thing. It just just
- 1:53:19Speaker 3: could be the time that that he notices the pressure
- 1:53:21Speaker 3: from it. Judging by the cleanliness of its feet, I'd
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: say chances are he was walking barefoot. Okay, so walking barefoot,
- 1:53:27Speaker 3: So there was.
- 1:53:29Speaker 2: Your feet are like Johndice yellow, it's cyril, little brown
- 1:53:32Speaker 2: at the top and that callous at the top.
- 1:53:34Speaker 3: We got to do something about focus on the wound. Okay,
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: there's no wound, and let me grab a file from engineering.
- 1:53:41Speaker 3: Let's not make fun of the aesthetics of my foot.
- 1:53:44Speaker 2: You have to buy okay, so when I had mine
- 1:53:46Speaker 2: and when my mother in law and she still has
- 1:53:48Speaker 2: a little bit of hers. But you have to buy
- 1:53:50Speaker 2: a certain kind of shoe like Hokahs or really high level,
- 1:53:54Speaker 2: really high level, like acic gels or something like that.
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: The dad hused, yeah, inserts, and you have to wear
- 1:53:59Speaker 2: them and that will eventually go away.
- 1:54:01Speaker 3: It will. But you the operation is they split that open,
- 1:54:05Speaker 3: they pull it us and they shave the bone with
- 1:54:08Speaker 3: like a razor until it goes down and it's not
- 1:54:10Speaker 3: a guarantee it won't come back. So I need surgery. No,
- 1:54:13Speaker 3: you don't. You need good shoes, you need the data. Well,
- 1:54:16Speaker 3: shaving bone seems like surgery, and I will go get
- 1:54:20Speaker 3: surgery before I wear shape ups. Are you serious? Toss
- 1:54:24Speaker 3: the foot out? I gotta look cool. No, dude, come on,
- 1:54:27Speaker 3: just where those where the dad choose for a while. Dude,
- 1:54:29Speaker 3: I'm telling you it works. This is what when they
- 1:54:31Speaker 3: have to shave the bone. The no, no, no, Jack, No,
- 1:54:39Speaker 3: I don't have bone spurs. You don't know that, buddy.
- 1:54:42Speaker 2: I'm telling you I think you have because I think
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: that's what plant or faciatis is. Oh god, I'm done.
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: I'm cooked. I'm old plant faciitis. It was a quartzo chop.
- 1:54:54Speaker 2: But also therapy wise, you have to take like a
- 1:54:58Speaker 2: water bottle. You freeze a water bottle that's exactly right,
- 1:55:00Speaker 2: and then you roll your foot over. You can also
- 1:55:04Speaker 2: do some stretching daily, calf and planter stretches, wearing supportive
- 1:55:08Speaker 2: cushioned shoes with archins, turts, all of those things will help.
- 1:55:12Speaker 2: Just give me, just give me compressions. And by the way,
- 1:55:14Speaker 2: let me tell you just wrap it up. Let me
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: just let me make sure everybody understands this.
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: I don't want to be around anymore. Well you ready, welcome, Welcome, son.
- 1:55:26Speaker 2: It's so good to see you, to finally see you
- 1:55:28Speaker 2: and see your body finally breaking down, and that seal
- 1:55:32Speaker 2: of youth is finally is finally broken and you get
- 1:55:36Speaker 2: to feel the daily pain of old. Come on over, son,
- 1:55:40Speaker 2: Come on, we got a warm chair for you.
- 1:55:42Speaker 16: Come on in you.
- 1:55:42Speaker 3: I've got some coffee. I've got some lemon cookies, your
- 1:55:45Speaker 3: grandmother maid. Come on in, buddy.
- 1:55:47Speaker 2: Do you know how fast his body is gonna implode?
- 1:55:50Speaker 2: Oh my god, look at his diet. He eats like
- 1:55:52Speaker 2: a nine year olds, like a nine year old that
- 1:55:56Speaker 2: won the lottery and has no parental supervision.
- 1:55:59Speaker 3: Walked in yesterday eating a beefy king sandwich. That's not
- 1:56:01Speaker 3: gonna help.
- 1:56:02Speaker 2: Eight A two candy bar, no, and then five minuature
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: candy bars, and then gummy thing cluk nerd clusters from
- 1:56:10Speaker 2: deb and if it's it's either you or sea lame.
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: But somebody drinking like thirty five coke zeros. That was
- 1:56:15Speaker 3: not me. Okay, I'm not a coke zero guy. I
- 1:56:18Speaker 3: don't drink cokes. That means I can drink beer. Logic.
- 1:56:21Speaker 2: You bring a dozen donuts around, you're only leaving with
- 1:56:24Speaker 2: four because he's eating the rest. So back to the
- 1:56:27Speaker 2: foot thing. We've told you about the foot thing.
- 1:56:29Speaker 3: It's just like an epsom salt thing. Because it's not
- 1:56:31Speaker 3: an epsom salt thing. You need shoes, dude, I don't
- 1:56:35Speaker 3: want to do it two hundred. There are a couple
- 1:56:36Speaker 3: of hundred bucks.
- 1:56:38Speaker 5: Like I would still start with the foreign object that
- 1:56:41Speaker 5: you got in your foot. Okay, I will trust deb
- 1:56:44Speaker 5: before I trust you.
- 1:56:45Speaker 6: Let me.
- 1:56:45Speaker 2: Let me let me out you out of here. Right,
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: nothing's been stuck in there for two years. It would
- 1:56:50Speaker 2: be infected.
- 1:56:50Speaker 3: Look at that. Nothing is stuck in there for two years.
- 1:56:53Speaker 3: That would be infected. It would be Jack got me
- 1:56:55Speaker 3: good there, but Jack just smashed my foothole. Can see it?
- 1:57:00Speaker 3: It's white? Yeah? No, no, let me get a it's
- 1:57:02Speaker 3: something in there, right, Let me look at this. Look
- 1:57:07Speaker 3: at my foot, dude, there's something in there.
- 1:57:10Speaker 5: Ah, God almighty well, and I have to share it
- 1:57:15Speaker 5: with me because now I'm the only one left in
- 1:57:17Speaker 5: the studio.
- 1:57:17Speaker 3: All right, look at it, Look at my Look at
- 1:57:19Speaker 3: that heel there, Jim, tell me, I am cooked?
- 1:57:24Speaker 6: What is that?
- 1:57:25Speaker 3: It's old sock that's riddled throughout my toes. I got
- 1:57:30Speaker 3: something in there.
- 1:57:31Speaker 2: I told you, get a needle, get a sewing needle.
- 1:57:33Speaker 2: Let's start digging. Well, I'll come over tonight, we'll watch
- 1:57:36Speaker 2: the game. I'll dig out your foot.
- 1:57:37Speaker 3: Well, that's the thing. This is also kind of where
- 1:57:39Speaker 3: I'm going. Is that, like my wife tries to dig
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: and then it oh much that I kind of like
- 1:57:46Speaker 3: bitch out and they go like, oh, I gotta go
- 1:57:48Speaker 3: to work. Well, by the way, that's why I came
- 1:57:50Speaker 3: to work early today.
- 1:57:51Speaker 5: Planter fasci items, Yeah, Planter fasci itis is the tightening
- 1:57:56Speaker 5: of the achilles tendon, which pulls and causes pain to
- 1:57:58Speaker 5: the entire bottom of it.
- 1:58:00Speaker 2: It's awful. The only one that's different. But he's got
- 1:58:04Speaker 2: he's got thought in there.
- 1:58:06Speaker 3: Are you sure it's not the same I thought planner was,
- 1:58:08Speaker 3: Like it was also an it's a tendons still out.
- 1:58:12Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, Okay. So I'm telling you straight up, hot
- 1:58:16Speaker 3: dog barking, are you afraid of razor blades with the
- 1:58:21Speaker 3: needle the needle, I'm telling you, take a take a razor.
- 1:58:26Speaker 3: Listen to me, Please listen, take a razor, all right,
- 1:58:30Speaker 3: and cut right over top of it, like an X,
- 1:58:32Speaker 3: right over top of it. Just cut a little bit.
- 1:58:34Speaker 3: It will be fine.
- 1:58:35Speaker 2: Put some line of cane or something under some some
- 1:58:37Speaker 2: topical and then you'll be able to cut it right
- 1:58:39Speaker 2: up and get it out of there.
- 1:58:41Speaker 3: Get something in there right den Like how deb and
- 1:58:44Speaker 3: Jagger taking turns, just poking. I didn't touch it. Let
- 1:58:47Speaker 3: me try squeezing it, like is it That's not gonna work.
- 1:58:49Speaker 3: That's what my wife would do. By the way, come on,
- 1:58:51Speaker 3: this is why I don't know, no I do. This
- 1:58:53Speaker 3: is what my wife did. And I was like, I
- 1:58:55Speaker 3: gotta go to work. Yeah, yeah, And I was like
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: pretending not to like get white mind, like we want
- 1:59:01Speaker 3: to go the pushy way out. You can put the
- 1:59:03Speaker 3: save on it and maybe over time it'll draw it out,
- 1:59:06Speaker 3: because otherwise we go and digging. I'm walking with the limp. Dude,
- 1:59:10Speaker 3: I need some Here's caesars in the needle. Here's the
- 1:59:14Speaker 3: thing with the needle though.
- 1:59:15Speaker 2: The needle, you gotta be careful because when you start
- 1:59:17Speaker 2: picking around, if you hit it with the needle, it
- 1:59:19Speaker 2: is going to light your ass up. That's what I'm
- 1:59:22Speaker 2: telling you. The razor cutting on either side of it,
- 1:59:24Speaker 2: making an X and then going in and getting out.
- 1:59:26Speaker 2: That's the way to do it.
- 1:59:27Speaker 3: You've got tequila, right, Yeah, you're be fine. Yeah, we'll
- 1:59:30Speaker 3: do it tonight.
- 1:59:31Speaker 5: Go to the backyard. What you're gonna you're gonna want
- 1:59:34Speaker 5: to go to the backyard. You're gonna want to find
- 1:59:36Speaker 5: a nice size stick because you're gonna need something to
- 1:59:39Speaker 5: bite down on.
- 1:59:40Speaker 3: You got a wallet, you can use your wallet. How
- 1:59:43Speaker 3: did this thing get from like your foot is ugly
- 1:59:45Speaker 3: to you're gonna have to save in private ryot yourself
- 1:59:48Speaker 3: to get out of this. I thought she was about
- 1:59:50Speaker 3: to give you some witch remedy.
- 1:59:51Speaker 2: I'm glad it was just a stick to bite on,
- 1:59:52Speaker 2: because I thought you're gonna have to get some bird
- 1:59:54Speaker 2: doo doing a newt eye.
- 1:59:55Speaker 5: All right, I'm saving that for you.
- 1:59:57Speaker 3: We're doing this tonight right before Team USA. Take just
- 2:00:00Speaker 3: right now, when I walk, I'm limping. Yeah, you're tiping
- 2:00:03Speaker 3: toeing right, And it's also starting to hurt my back
- 2:00:05Speaker 3: because I'm walking on like one regular foot. One balls
- 2:00:09Speaker 3: in my feet on my right foot and it's my
- 2:00:11Speaker 3: right foot.
- 2:00:12Speaker 5: Yeah, you need to go see a doctor because whatever
- 2:00:14Speaker 5: it is in there is deep enough that even over
- 2:00:16Speaker 5: two years, it hasn't been able to work its way out.
- 2:00:19Speaker 5: So you're gonna You're gonna no. I would go where
- 2:00:22Speaker 5: someone has great expertise to go. It could be a
- 2:00:26Speaker 5: walking clinic.
- 2:00:26Speaker 3: I'm gonna wash my hands, just cut it, opening it
- 2:00:29Speaker 3: out of there. Being such a bitch than you. You
- 2:00:32Speaker 3: listen to these guys.
- 2:00:33Speaker 5: That's why men don't live that one.
- 2:00:34Speaker 3: It might not be a slip and fall, but I'm
- 2:00:36Speaker 3: just gonna call mo regardless over this. Do you have
- 2:00:38Speaker 3: a magnifying glass because I really can't see it that well, Yeah,
- 2:00:42Speaker 3: it's my vision, not you.
- 2:00:43Speaker 2: Not if you If you go into that room right
- 2:00:45Speaker 2: behind there, there's one of those light lighted like summer
- 2:00:48Speaker 2: magnifying glasses. That's what you need to do is go
- 2:00:51Speaker 2: right in there. And by the way, there are exact
- 2:00:52Speaker 2: o knives in there. You could do everything in the
- 2:00:55Speaker 2: operating room right there in engineering guarantee.
- 2:00:58Speaker 5: Somebody also said it could be a planter's war and
- 2:01:00Speaker 5: in order for them to get rid of it, and
- 2:01:01Speaker 5: those are painful. I had one of those as a kid.
- 2:01:03Speaker 3: What's a planter's word.
- 2:01:05Speaker 5: It's a ward that's underneath the skin on your heel
- 2:01:07Speaker 5: and the freeze it it just maybe that, Yeah, that
- 2:01:10Speaker 5: could it's I'm looking at it.
- 2:01:13Speaker 3: What do I want this to be? I just want
- 2:01:14Speaker 3: to walk normal. Oh dude, it probably is a Planner's war.
- 2:01:21Speaker 2: It's got a white thing around it, right, It's got
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: a little bit of a what does I'm just saying,
- 2:01:25Speaker 2: go go look at planners warts.
- 2:01:28Speaker 3: It's pretty close. I'll still carve it down if you want. Okay,
- 2:01:31Speaker 3: those are your rosstats, Jack, What the hell? All right?
- 2:01:33Speaker 2: Four seven I'm out pexta seven seven zero Yeah, thanks mon,
- 2:01:38Speaker 2: We appreciate that very much.
- 2:01:39Speaker 3: Just go yeah, all right back in a second.
- 2:01:49Speaker 20: Oh boy, I wonder how many doctors and nurses are
- 2:01:53Speaker 20: losing their minds right now? Remember the thoughts and opinion
- 2:01:57Speaker 20: and only those are the hosts and do not reflect
- 2:02:00Speaker 20: those of my heart media.
- 2:02:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, maybe it's a plant house Warsten up
- 2:02:09Speaker 3: Ross Jim is completely correct.
- 2:02:13Speaker 4: Cut it open, pull it out, those some super glue
- 2:02:16Speaker 4: on it, Seal it up, call today.
- 2:02:18Speaker 3: Nail it about it, nailed it, you know. Come on, man,
- 2:02:21Speaker 3: come on man, you got a kid, now, you got it?
- 2:02:23Speaker 3: Tough en up, show who the man is around here?
- 2:02:26Speaker 3: Take the pain, Yeah, take the pain, show up with
- 2:02:30Speaker 3: the man is take that pain?
- 2:02:32Speaker 6: All right?
- 2:02:33Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Jim Colbert Show. We're already one
- 2:02:35Speaker 2: oh four point one. Deb loves that stuff. Keep it coming, Jim,
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: there's debb. Jack is here as well, so is Ross.
- 2:02:41Speaker 2: Let's do eight bit update. It's game time on real Radio.
- 2:02:46Speaker 3: Get ready for the.

- 2:02:56Speaker 1: Jaden starts now.
- 2:02:58Speaker 3: Good lad for James Grunds, Guys, I'm doing good.
- 2:03:05Speaker 7: I changed my dance move if you couldn't tell, because
- 2:03:07Speaker 7: I was executive decisions last week.
- 2:03:10Speaker 3: I was told him that needs to be changed. Okay,
- 2:03:11Speaker 3: very good. I didn't are you doing this one?
- 2:03:13Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 2:03:14Speaker 3: Yeah, last week's dance was a little it was very
- 2:03:20Speaker 3: pride month seemed well. But that's not the attention there.
- 2:03:24Speaker 3: That's not two tall dudes on either side of you. Okay, buddy,
- 2:03:28Speaker 3: let's uh, let's move on from the So.
- 2:03:30Speaker 7: How's your guys this week going? Guys, I don't think
- 2:03:33Speaker 7: I've ever seen you. That shade of red's been beating Ruggs.
- 2:03:36Speaker 3: You know, nothing, uh nothing bit beating Some Ruggs walked
- 2:03:39Speaker 3: in here at the weirdest time. I'm assuming.
- 2:03:41Speaker 5: Yeah, it's been a really time between three and seven
- 2:03:44Speaker 5: takes the weirdest time.
- 2:03:45Speaker 2: Jack's been fundling Ross's foot for the last half an hour.
- 2:03:48Speaker 2: I went smelling his fingers and smelling his fingers.
- 2:03:51Speaker 7: I won't be saying goodbye to that studio after this segment,
- 2:03:53Speaker 7: Like I usually, do you want to whiff?
- 2:03:58Speaker 2: Jane joins us on Friday afternoons, Well, what's happening in
- 2:04:00Speaker 2: the world of gaming? Plus other things as well? Which
- 2:04:02Speaker 2: guy first this week?
- 2:04:03Speaker 7: Mcdoug oh, man, I have fell into a rabbit hole.
- 2:04:06Speaker 7: I'm like putting on my tinfoil hat completely and just
- 2:04:10Speaker 7: been studying. This is what's been going on with this
- 2:04:12Speaker 7: new Call of Duty news. We got so Black Ops
- 2:04:15Speaker 7: one and Black Ops two has been said, we're gonna
- 2:04:17Speaker 7: get it remastered.
- 2:04:19Speaker 3: There's been a lot of talk about it. Yeah, a
- 2:04:20Speaker 3: big deal.
- 2:04:21Speaker 7: That's a huge deal, two of the biggest Call of
- 2:04:23Speaker 7: Duties of all time. Fans have been asking for this forever.
- 2:04:26Speaker 7: It's been a rumor for five six years at this point,
- 2:04:29Speaker 7: and I'm here to crush everybody's bubbles because I have
- 2:04:31Speaker 7: been studying this. I've been thinking about everything that could
- 2:04:34Speaker 7: possibly happen, and this is the remaster is not happening
- 2:04:37Speaker 7: all right. First of all, all these leaks are coming
- 2:04:40Speaker 7: straight from a PlayStation, a jail broken PlayStation. Do you
- 2:04:43Speaker 7: know what a jail broken PlayStation would.
- 2:04:45Speaker 2: It's basically where they make the PlayStation where you can
- 2:04:47Speaker 2: play all kinds of games on it from different formats
- 2:04:49Speaker 2: or different providers.
- 2:04:50Speaker 7: Pretty much, you basically have like a Dead's Kit, like
- 2:04:53Speaker 7: a mini Dead's Kit. You can do anything to that PlayStation.
- 2:04:55Speaker 7: You can change covers of games, you got it.
- 2:04:57Speaker 3: You can do so much.
- 2:04:58Speaker 7: Well, this video hit Twitter a couple of days ago,
- 2:05:01Speaker 7: maybe Monday started the week where that he had this.
- 2:05:04Speaker 7: One guy on his PlayStation had a picture of Black
- 2:05:07Speaker 7: Ops one and Black Ops two on his PlayStation five,
- 2:05:11Speaker 7: and everybody freaked.
- 2:05:13Speaker 3: That's not where it's supposed to be.
- 2:05:14Speaker 7: Yeah, this game has been stuck on the PlayStation. Wise,
- 2:05:17Speaker 7: this has been stuck on the PlayStation three. Now Activision
- 2:05:21Speaker 7: owns or Microsoft owns Activision. Activision is the developers for
- 2:05:25Speaker 7: Call of Duty, so all these games are already on
- 2:05:27Speaker 7: the Xbox. So for this to be on the PlayStation
- 2:05:30Speaker 7: is a huge deal because people have been asking this forever.
- 2:05:34Speaker 7: But when you have a jail broken console, you can
- 2:05:36Speaker 7: change anything. And AI is also a thing nowadays. Oh really,
- 2:05:39Speaker 7: so you don't even need a jail broken console. I
- 2:05:42Speaker 7: could take a picture of my home screen and be like, yo, chat,
- 2:05:44Speaker 7: GPT make this have this game, in this game, in
- 2:05:47Speaker 7: this game, so.
- 2:05:48Speaker 3: He just does the code for you or whatever so
- 2:05:49Speaker 3: he can download it.
- 2:05:50Speaker 7: Or I'm talking about like on my phone, I can
- 2:05:52Speaker 7: take a picture of my screen and I could just
- 2:05:54Speaker 7: I could post that on Twitter and be like, yeah,
- 2:05:56Speaker 7: I see what you're saying.
- 2:05:57Speaker 3: This whole thing could be fake.
- 2:05:58Speaker 7: Hey god, yes, but there has been some things to
- 2:06:01Speaker 7: determine that, and I'll get into it. Basically, this guy
- 2:06:05Speaker 7: has play Black Ops one Black Ops two on his
- 2:06:07Speaker 7: home screen. He clicks onto it and it boots up,
- 2:06:10Speaker 7: the game starts, it shows everything, and then it says
- 2:06:12Speaker 7: you cannot play it because on the internal side, the
- 2:06:16Speaker 7: PlayStation doesn't recognize the code that it's sending, so it
- 2:06:19Speaker 7: only gives you this pop up message.
- 2:06:21Speaker 3: But here's what I'm here to tell you.
- 2:06:22Speaker 7: Sony would never release a remastered or Call of Duty
- 2:06:26Speaker 7: is never going to release a remastered just on Sony
- 2:06:29Speaker 7: consoles itself. You want to know why, because they're owned
- 2:06:31Speaker 7: by Xbox. Why would Xbox ever in a million years
- 2:06:35Speaker 7: put one of the biggest things they could ever put
- 2:06:37Speaker 7: out onto a PlayStation five, especially when all these consoles
- 2:06:41Speaker 7: and all these companies aren't doing exclusives like how they
- 2:06:43Speaker 7: were six months ago, right, And that's like.
- 2:06:45Speaker 3: There is that their key piece of software is the
- 2:06:47Speaker 3: Call of Duty games, one of their biggest prizes they have,
- 2:06:52Speaker 3: So for them to give it to PlayStation will be
- 2:06:54Speaker 3: stupid because it's like proprietory to them, right.
- 2:06:57Speaker 7: Yeah, it would be one of the dumbest things Xbox
- 2:06:59Speaker 7: could do. Now when you click on to when he
- 2:07:02Speaker 7: clicked onto the little details of this Call of Duty.
- 2:07:05Speaker 7: It was a little interesting because we got some tweets
- 2:07:07Speaker 7: from Charlie Intel and a couple other people that are
- 2:07:09Speaker 7: big in the Call of Duty universe, and they have
- 2:07:11Speaker 7: some file sizes for these games. Now, the file size
- 2:07:14Speaker 7: for Black Ops one says twenty two point seven gigs.
- 2:07:17Speaker 7: On the Xbox it's seven gigabytes. So that's already a
- 2:07:21Speaker 7: fourteen gigabyte difference in the same game. Yeah, you go
- 2:07:24Speaker 7: to Black Ops two, that's thirty gigabytes. Black Ops two
- 2:07:26Speaker 7: on the xboxes around fifteen gigs. So when you look
- 2:07:29Speaker 7: at that, you're like, oh wow, this might actually be real.
- 2:07:31Speaker 7: This could get a remastered.
- 2:07:33Speaker 3: So in other words, the remaster would actually make it
- 2:07:35Speaker 3: more memory or.
- 2:07:36Speaker 7: It would be because when you remaster a game, you're
- 2:07:39Speaker 7: you're changing everything. Basically, you're making it exactly more FPS
- 2:07:44Speaker 7: all this, uh man.
- 2:07:46Speaker 3: Just fps frames per second? No I wanted Jimmy Dan's yeah, yeah,
- 2:07:50Speaker 3: no clue he knew.
- 2:07:51Speaker 7: Now I have think that He's like saying the DEVA
- 2:07:54Speaker 7: and everything a dead kid, yeah sor a dead kid
- 2:07:57Speaker 7: is what like the Sony developers have their games. She's
- 2:08:01Speaker 7: second guess yeah, and you know you.
- 2:08:06Speaker 3: Right right, rookie stuff around her. Yeah, I really think
- 2:08:11Speaker 3: he did.
- 2:08:11Speaker 7: Sorry kids, Yeah, the twenty bucks on ebit the file
- 2:08:17Speaker 7: size could not be optimized yet, so it could go
- 2:08:19Speaker 7: down and it could go back to what it usually
- 2:08:22Speaker 7: is on Xbox.
- 2:08:23Speaker 3: But a lot of people are freaking out saying this
- 2:08:25Speaker 3: has to be the remax, so they just try do
- 2:08:28Speaker 3: people just troll this kind of stuff all the time
- 2:08:30Speaker 3: because people have to wait because you guys, as customers
- 2:08:32Speaker 3: have to wait so long for these for these outputs
- 2:08:35Speaker 3: or these updates or these new game and editions.
- 2:08:38Speaker 7: Yes, that's why people go find everything themselves, especially with
- 2:08:41Speaker 7: call of duty. People want these old call of duties
- 2:08:44Speaker 7: remade like that. We want the old call of duties.
- 2:08:46Speaker 7: So when something like this hits the waves, it's huge.
- 2:08:49Speaker 7: So when when you but my favorite thing about this
- 2:08:51Speaker 7: is so when you look at the file size and
- 2:08:53Speaker 7: in the video he clicked on the home screen, the
- 2:08:56Speaker 7: none of those gigs, because it tells you how much.
- 2:08:58Speaker 3: How many, how big a game is.
- 2:08:59Speaker 7: When he onto the details, when you click onto the
- 2:09:01Speaker 7: details in that Twitter video, that gigabyte size doesn't match
- 2:09:04Speaker 7: anything that these leaks are saying. So we have two
- 2:09:07Speaker 7: different things here is it this size or is it
- 2:09:09Speaker 7: this size? So I can't trust that at all in.
- 2:09:12Speaker 2: Which it's supposed to happen. I mean, did they give
- 2:09:14Speaker 2: a timeline of whin this's but because I mean, this
- 2:09:15Speaker 2: is the big thing. We talk about these things all
- 2:09:17Speaker 2: the time and nobody knows when anything's happening, Like the
- 2:09:20Speaker 2: uh the uh GTA seven has been rumored for how long?
- 2:09:24Speaker 3: Now is it? GTA? Is that what it is? Take
- 2:09:28Speaker 3: it down one?
- 2:09:29Speaker 9: Now?
- 2:09:29Speaker 3: Okay, there you go exactly? Is that the one that
- 2:09:31Speaker 3: everybody's coming? You get? But that's been teased for years
- 2:09:34Speaker 3: now though, right, Yeah, it's exactly like that.
- 2:09:36Speaker 7: And Black Ops two takes place in twenty twenty five,
- 2:09:39Speaker 7: so they thought, for you know, being twenty twenty five,
- 2:09:41Speaker 7: this was gonna come in twenty twenty five. And now
- 2:09:44Speaker 7: we've seen something exactly like this already happen. Modern Warfare
- 2:09:48Speaker 7: two was getting remastered. Everyone saw it, everyone saw the
- 2:09:51Speaker 7: file size, YadA, YadA, YadA, and then it ended up
- 2:09:53Speaker 7: being just the story mode, just the campaign. Oh, I see,
- 2:09:56Speaker 7: that's exactly what could happen here. But I don't would
- 2:09:59Speaker 7: that be terrible though that?
- 2:10:01Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 2:10:01Speaker 7: Yes, and no, for me, it wouldn't be. I love
- 2:10:03Speaker 7: the campaigns. It would be kind of like a blue ball, like, dude,
- 2:10:05Speaker 7: you're really just giving me play the rest of the game.
- 2:10:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:10:09Speaker 7: Other than that, I would I would enjoy that because
- 2:10:11Speaker 7: I really do love the Call of Duty campaigns. But
- 2:10:14Speaker 7: when you have this much info with it, and they
- 2:10:17Speaker 7: have they have, uh, there's different versions of this game
- 2:10:21Speaker 7: for each country. Each country has their own different gigabyte
- 2:10:24Speaker 7: when it comes to these files for these games. Yeah,
- 2:10:27Speaker 7: all these file sizes are different for each country version
- 2:10:29Speaker 7: of this game. So it may be I really feel
- 2:10:32Speaker 7: like this remaster could be something, but I don't think
- 2:10:35Speaker 7: it's a remaster. I think everyone's just seeing new Call
- 2:10:37Speaker 7: of Duty and they're getting fooled by this. I think
- 2:10:39Speaker 7: they're simply just pouring over the Xbox and PS three
- 2:10:42Speaker 7: system over to the PS five, So you're just gonna
- 2:10:45Speaker 7: get the same exact game. And people are looking way, way, way, way,
- 2:10:48Speaker 7: way too deep into this.
- 2:10:50Speaker 3: Guy, I am not. You're not a Call of Duty guy. Huh?
- 2:10:53Speaker 3: Not a Call of Duty guy. The last Call of
- 2:10:55Speaker 3: Duty game I played was World War Two. That's that's
- 2:10:58Speaker 3: the last one I played too.
- 2:10:59Speaker 7: Yeah, say the the that was on the PS four,
- 2:11:03Speaker 7: not not the one. I'm thinking of War at War?
- 2:11:05Speaker 3: Whoa No, I was playing in a nineteen forty four.
- 2:11:08Speaker 3: Oh I see, I see, I see you're in the rug.
- 2:11:11Speaker 3: It was handalog a couple of years there, but no, Yeah,
- 2:11:16Speaker 3: I played it on the Xbox one.
- 2:11:19Speaker 7: That's right. We're all Xbox guys. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I
- 2:11:22Speaker 7: was getting that one mixed up with the Ward at War.
- 2:11:23Speaker 7: I was like, man, you really haven't played Call of
- 2:11:25Speaker 7: Duty in a long time.
- 2:11:26Speaker 3: I'm not a cod guy. I'm an Xbox guy right here, dog,
- 2:11:29Speaker 3: that's right. Yeah, they throw the mixes up. Yeahs.
- 2:11:35Speaker 7: You know I mentioned conso console exclusives aren't really as
- 2:11:39Speaker 7: exclusive as I mentioned about. When I first started this,
- 2:11:43Speaker 7: this was like this whole new revolution that consoles were
- 2:11:46Speaker 7: gonna work together. They're gonna be friends, We're gonna sell
- 2:11:48Speaker 7: all these games together. That stopped within six months. PlayStation
- 2:11:52Speaker 7: just pulled all those games and they were like, yeah,
- 2:11:54Speaker 7: I think we're gonna keep them on the PlayStation. Well,
- 2:11:56Speaker 7: Xbox is following them because they're like, all right, you
- 2:11:59Speaker 7: know what, You're not gonna be friendly. We ain't gonna
- 2:12:01Speaker 7: be friendly either, buddy. And then now they're making all
- 2:12:03Speaker 7: their games exclusive, but Xbox exclusives won't just be on
- 2:12:07Speaker 7: the Xbox. It'll actually come to PC as well. So
- 2:12:10Speaker 7: it's a I feel like that's how games.
- 2:12:12Speaker 3: Should just be in general. Outside of Grand Theft Auto.
- 2:12:14Speaker 3: What's the most anticipated release of a video game this year?
- 2:12:18Speaker 3: Or is that it? I mean that's the biggest yea,
- 2:12:21Speaker 3: because you figu you're kind of going into like August, September, August,
- 2:12:24Speaker 3: like whoever's gonna make that move is gonna make that
- 2:12:25Speaker 3: move to get the Christmas sales, And I know that
- 2:12:27Speaker 3: GTA is doing that, but is there no other game
- 2:12:30Speaker 3: doing that. There is a couple of games. September is
- 2:12:33Speaker 3: full of games.
- 2:12:34Speaker 7: There's practically a game coming out every day in September
- 2:12:37Speaker 7: because there's no one wants to release in November.
- 2:12:40Speaker 3: That's how scared they are.
- 2:12:41Speaker 7: GTA, there's one game that is releasing in November, and
- 2:12:45Speaker 7: it's a Godzilla remastered.
- 2:12:47Speaker 3: It's a Godzilla. I forget.
- 2:12:48Speaker 7: It's Godzilla, all monsters and they're just fighting each other.
- 2:12:51Speaker 7: It's a great game.
- 2:12:53Speaker 3: I think it's gonna come out, hopefully at least we'll
- 2:12:56Speaker 3: get the date by the end of this year. But
- 2:12:57Speaker 3: a huge remake just got announced from Nintendo of Zelda
- 2:13:01Speaker 3: Ocarina of Time, which is in a lot of video
- 2:13:05Speaker 3: game historian's mind, is looked at as the greatest video
- 2:13:09Speaker 3: game of all time. So to have it get a facelift,
- 2:13:12Speaker 3: full blown remake coming out on switch to Okarina of Time, Zelda,
- 2:13:16Speaker 3: Let's ride. Yeah, what are they gonna do? The Prince
- 2:13:18Speaker 3: of Persia reboot happened?
- 2:13:20Speaker 9: Man? What was that?
- 2:13:25Speaker 3: Was solely for you, buddy, But they do have a
- 2:13:28Speaker 3: Prince of Persia reboot yeeah, Yeah, it's been after a
- 2:13:31Speaker 3: couple of years ago. You got me really on Guard there,
- 2:13:33Speaker 3: I was just I was just making a joke because
- 2:13:35Speaker 3: I know it's an old ass game. That's it. One
- 2:13:36Speaker 3: of the OG games, right, it's not like the oldest
- 2:13:38Speaker 3: phone game or whatever.
- 2:13:39Speaker 7: It's not an OG game. But it's like a deep
- 2:13:41Speaker 7: cut like why are you? Yeah, you just see copy
- 2:13:45Speaker 7: of Guard completely You call it pop? Yeah, man, it's
- 2:13:49Speaker 7: called pop. I haven't heard it called pop.
- 2:13:52Speaker 3: Prince of Persia too is one of the best free
- 2:13:55Speaker 3: roaming wall scaling parkour games of its time. Harcore, yeah, hardcore.
- 2:14:00Speaker 7: On that note, as Alien Isolation two, after twelve years confirmed,
- 2:14:05Speaker 7: it was at one of the most recent Like.
- 2:14:07Speaker 3: This is based on the Alien movies, Yes, I did.
- 2:14:09Speaker 7: The first game is phenomenal that really you're stuck on
- 2:14:12Speaker 7: this spaceship and this alien is just hunting you this.
- 2:14:14Speaker 3: Whole Have you ever seen the movies. I've seen a
- 2:14:16Speaker 3: couple of them. I've seen all of them.
- 2:14:17Speaker 2: The original Alien movie is one of the best horror
- 2:14:20Speaker 2: action movies of all time, and dude, it was way
- 2:14:23Speaker 2: ahead of its time with like graphics and stuff and
- 2:14:26Speaker 2: with special effects.
- 2:14:27Speaker 7: Don't shame me, I'm serious, it's real good. I have
- 2:14:30Speaker 7: not seen the first Alien you should check it out, buddy,
- 2:14:32Speaker 7: I know, I know it's I heard it's one of
- 2:14:33Speaker 7: the all time classes.
- 2:14:35Speaker 2: It is, and Sigourney Weaver comes off as one of
- 2:14:37Speaker 2: the hottest, kind of oddly hot, kind of because she's
- 2:14:39Speaker 2: never like she's just always in this dirty ass tank
- 2:14:42Speaker 2: top and she's always carrying this big ass gun and
- 2:14:44Speaker 2: she's always sweaty and dirty.
- 2:14:46Speaker 3: But she's hot as ell inent movie. Because you haven't
- 2:14:48Speaker 3: seen the movie and I hate them. Just do this,
- 2:14:50Speaker 3: but maybe you'll pass it. Anyways, can you finish this
- 2:14:52Speaker 3: sentence in space? No one can hear you scream?
- 2:14:57Speaker 11: Yes, I know.
- 2:15:00Speaker 3: Coaching.
- 2:15:01Speaker 2: Well, now you get to find out where it's from.
- 2:15:03Speaker 2: So a new game is So it's an updated version
- 2:15:06Speaker 2: of the first game.
- 2:15:07Speaker 7: No, it's a sequel. It's a complete sequel. Yeah, we
- 2:15:09Speaker 7: don't know too much about it yet. We just got
- 2:15:11Speaker 7: a teaser trailer for it, but I'm so hyped for this.
- 2:15:13Speaker 7: The first game was terrifying. I remember that was probably
- 2:15:17Speaker 7: like what nine or ten hiding in a locker while
- 2:15:19Speaker 7: there's giant aliens coming around.
- 2:15:21Speaker 3: Dude, wait till you see the movie. I don't know
- 2:15:23Speaker 3: if I'll be as scared. It is a damn good movie.
- 2:15:26Speaker 3: Did actually go bald at one point in one of
- 2:15:28Speaker 3: those movies? Oh, I don't know.
- 2:15:30Speaker 5: I think it's like the third one.
- 2:15:31Speaker 7: Okay, I've seen that one. I seen her as a
- 2:15:33Speaker 7: bald lady. You need to go back to the first.
- 2:15:35Speaker 3: Okay. Yeah, compliments actually both of you, because both of
- 2:15:38Speaker 3: you are right. The game is not as scary I
- 2:15:42Speaker 3: would say, but it does a very good job of
- 2:15:45Speaker 3: capturing the original movie and just that xenomorph crawling as
- 2:15:50Speaker 3: lights are flashing and you see that black shape getting
- 2:15:52Speaker 3: closer and you turn the camera. Yeah, that video game
- 2:15:55Speaker 3: is very special. Yeah, that sounds like that would be terrifying.
- 2:15:57Speaker 2: And I have to tell you the effect they used
- 2:15:59Speaker 2: the movie. It makes it shiny, which I don't know
- 2:16:01Speaker 2: why that makes it even creepier, but it is. It's
- 2:16:04Speaker 2: because it's wet. Yeah, yeah, dude, and that noises made
- 2:16:08Speaker 2: me one scared.
- 2:16:09Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 2:16:11Speaker 7: Speaking of all these new games and everything like that,
- 2:16:14Speaker 7: we got this teaser trailer three years ago for the
- 2:16:17Speaker 7: Blade game. You know Blade, the Marvel the Marvel vampire
- 2:16:20Speaker 7: killer who doesn't know Blade, well, he has to. He's
- 2:16:22Speaker 7: supposed to get an Xbox exclusive game. This was announced
- 2:16:25Speaker 7: three years ago. And it's looking like it's going to
- 2:16:27Speaker 7: get canceled. I mean, are you surprised?
- 2:16:30Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:16:31Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I don't know. It just seems like one
- 2:16:32Speaker 2: of the shakiest businesses out there. I mean, and if
- 2:16:35Speaker 2: you even begin developing one of these things, isn't I mean,
- 2:16:37Speaker 2: it's just so much money it is. Is that what
- 2:16:40Speaker 2: happens is like they get through the middle of it
- 2:16:41Speaker 2: and they think it's taken so long to do this,
- 2:16:43Speaker 2: like feel that the vibe is dead, like like the
- 2:16:45Speaker 2: concept of the game is no good anymore.
- 2:16:47Speaker 3: Is that what happened?
- 2:16:48Speaker 7: I don't know, because there's something going on with these
- 2:16:50Speaker 7: Marvel games. There's another Marvel game that got delayed for
- 2:16:53Speaker 7: the second time outside of Blade, just today, Marvel nineteen
- 2:16:57Speaker 7: forty three Rise of Hydra. It was supposed to be
- 2:16:59Speaker 7: a Captain and Maya Cub black Panther game, and this
- 2:17:01Speaker 7: guy announced in twenty twenty one. Wow, and they just
- 2:17:06Speaker 7: delayed it again. So I don't know if something's happening
- 2:17:10Speaker 7: with Marvel in the background. But these are two Marvel
- 2:17:12Speaker 7: games now that have been delayed within this week.
- 2:17:14Speaker 3: Has it been a hard time finding developers?
- 2:17:16Speaker 13: Is that what it is?
- 2:17:17Speaker 3: I mean, I would figure AI would eat this stuff
- 2:17:19Speaker 3: alive like they would be they would be even way
- 2:17:21Speaker 3: more efficient a building these games with AI helping. But
- 2:17:24Speaker 3: not sure. I don't know. Oh no, there's game developers
- 2:17:26Speaker 3: left and right.
- 2:17:26Speaker 7: But a lot of these game developers are kind of
- 2:17:28Speaker 7: tired of, you know, working on these games endless hours.
- 2:17:32Speaker 7: Those guys put in ninety hours a week.
- 2:17:33Speaker 2: And you say, some of the developers dip and create
- 2:17:35Speaker 2: other companies to create games they want to create because
- 2:17:37Speaker 2: they get sick and tired of creating the ones that
- 2:17:39Speaker 2: you know, the other concepts of other people have.
- 2:17:41Speaker 7: Yeah, it's like it's like a music artist writing music
- 2:17:44Speaker 7: and they just get a block and they just don't
- 2:17:45Speaker 7: have love for it anymore. That's what these game developers
- 2:17:48Speaker 7: do with these games, and they kind of kick them
- 2:17:49Speaker 7: to the side.
- 2:17:50Speaker 3: Yeah. To me, it's kind of right there in front
- 2:17:52Speaker 3: of you. Marvel doesn't have the grip that it once
- 2:17:54Speaker 3: did on pop culture and making video games. With that
- 2:17:59Speaker 3: franch Eyes was printing money. But right now a nineteen
- 2:18:03Speaker 3: forty three Marvel video game, I just can't see that
- 2:18:07Speaker 3: putting a dent in the video game community right now.
- 2:18:10Speaker 7: Yeah, they probably they definitely missed their their window with
- 2:18:13Speaker 7: these weird Captain Americal, Captain America Black Panther games. But
- 2:18:17Speaker 7: you say that, but Marvel Rivals is still kicking that
- 2:18:19Speaker 7: competitive scene. I play it on the daily like that.
- 2:18:22Speaker 7: There's still some Marvel content out there that could work.
- 2:18:25Speaker 3: About how old is Marvel Rivals with that, it's probably
- 2:18:27Speaker 3: about a year at this point, a year a year
- 2:18:29Speaker 3: old and we still got a player based on there.
- 2:18:31Speaker 2: Always good seeing you, Buddy, Good job today man, and
- 2:18:35Speaker 2: Rymes for to hear Jayden every day from three until
- 2:18:40Speaker 2: six over there with BK and Mikey for some sports.
- 2:18:44Speaker 3: That's right, every day, World Cup always good Seena man,
- 2:18:47Speaker 3: always good seeing you. They have got some news.
- 2:18:49Speaker 5: Governor DeSantis announces a crackdown on Medicaid fraud, a bizarre
- 2:18:53Speaker 5: twist to an already shocking local story, and the Pentagon
- 2:18:57Speaker 5: releases the third batch of you UFO files and some
- 2:19:01Speaker 5: interesting characters in this one. Really yeah, we're gonna talk
- 2:19:03Speaker 5: about that next daring. You heard it here first, All right.
- 2:19:05Speaker 3: Say little break, We'll come back and get Deb's news
- 2:19:07Speaker 3: and get the hell out of here. On a Friday, Hey.
- 2:19:12Speaker 14: Golf man tat Hoover here in Melbourne. Wow, I am
- 2:19:15Speaker 14: This conversation with Ross was hilarious. But I'm glad that
- 2:19:19Speaker 14: you guys talked about the planner's wark. I think I've
- 2:19:21Speaker 14: got one of those. Ross, you and me are in
- 2:19:24Speaker 14: the same boat. Mine doesn't hurt, but I've been just
- 2:19:27Speaker 14: cutting mine out, but I mean I might have to
- 2:19:31Speaker 14: go get this looked at myself. Thanks for talking about this, y'all.
- 2:19:34Speaker 14: This has been actually very helpful. I've had those suckers
- 2:19:36Speaker 14: on my foot for like three years.
- 2:19:38Speaker 3: The whole time. All right, it was the goal the
- 2:19:41Speaker 3: whole time. But you're welcome. Amazing Grayshound. Sweet this sound
- 2:19:45Speaker 3: that's saved a rich like me. I once was lost,
- 2:19:48Speaker 3: but now I'm found.
- 2:19:50Speaker 11: It was blind, but now I see, mate, what's a
- 2:19:55Speaker 11: mighty sailing man skipper?
- 2:20:00Speaker 3: Blah blah blah blah blah blah. Hey, We're going on
- 2:20:03Speaker 3: a three hour tour tomorrow. See you there, See you there, buddy.
- 2:20:08Speaker 2: All right, welcome back with the Jim Corber Show, Roll
- 2:20:10Speaker 2: Radio one o four point one. I'm Jim, deb Jack
- 2:20:12Speaker 2: and Ross are here as well, and we are going
- 2:20:14Speaker 2: on the We can't wait to tell you about it.
- 2:20:16Speaker 3: The yacht cruise is tomorrow from five until eight. Yeah,
- 2:20:19Speaker 3: that means Monday is gonna be a big day. A well,
- 2:20:22Speaker 3: we'll talk about everything on the cruise, but also you're
- 2:20:25Speaker 3: gonna unveil the first stanza of this search.
- 2:20:28Speaker 2: You're asof absolutely absolutely riding the rest of that this weekend,
- 2:20:33Speaker 2: hiding the box this weekend, and it will have a
- 2:20:36Speaker 2: almost two thousand dollars package from our friends over our
- 2:20:38Speaker 2: tools Ace Hardware for that big green egg package that
- 2:20:42Speaker 2: comes with not only the grill, but a bunch of
- 2:20:44Speaker 2: other accessories as well.
- 2:20:45Speaker 3: Are you gonna hide it on a certain river ship?
- 2:20:48Speaker 2: I am not gonna hire that, I am, but I
- 2:20:50Speaker 2: do want to thank our friends over at Captain Morgan's
- 2:20:53Speaker 2: Slice Colottas though, because they are donating a number of
- 2:20:57Speaker 2: cases so that everybody that comes on the yacht cruise
- 2:20:59Speaker 2: tomorrow their welcome drink will be a choice of their
- 2:21:02Speaker 2: flavor passion fruit, strawberry, pina colotta or mango.
- 2:21:06Speaker 3: Each one of those is delicious.
- 2:21:08Speaker 2: We were so impressed with his brand we actually reached
- 2:21:10Speaker 2: out to them and asked them because we wanted everybody
- 2:21:12Speaker 2: to experience it, and you will tomorrow for free. And
- 2:21:14Speaker 2: I also want to thank Pyrospot Fireworks. I want fireworks
- 2:21:18Speaker 2: dot com. Hill Craig our buddy will have his tent
- 2:21:21Speaker 2: setup for the fourth of July, but he gave us
- 2:21:23Speaker 2: a bunch of gift certificates that will be some of
- 2:21:26Speaker 2: the many prizes.
- 2:21:27Speaker 3: We have a bunch of nice prizes for.
- 2:21:29Speaker 2: Absolutely in three locations this year for pyrospot and if
- 2:21:32Speaker 2: you it's pyrosot or I want fireworks dot com, Ye,
- 2:21:35Speaker 2: I want fireworks dot com. Craig is a great guy,
- 2:21:38Speaker 2: been a great friend for many years. Best fireworks in
- 2:21:41Speaker 2: the business. And when you go out and get them,
- 2:21:43Speaker 2: you get that by one get too free scenario. It's crazy,
- 2:21:47Speaker 2: hardest working retired guy.
- 2:21:48Speaker 3: Yeah, no joke. All right, dev let's get some news,
- 2:21:51Speaker 3: good time for you. Heard it here first on the
- 2:21:55Speaker 3: Jim Colbert Show. All Right.
- 2:21:57Speaker 5: A multi pronged approach at looking down on Medicaid fraud
- 2:22:01Speaker 5: here in Florida announced by the Governor Arond De Santis
- 2:22:04Speaker 5: when he visited the Palm Beach County Healthcare District today
- 2:22:07Speaker 5: to say that the bad guys have been getting out
- 2:22:09Speaker 5: of control, but that time is coming to an end.
- 2:22:13Speaker 3: Buckle up. Some of these guys that aren't behaving well,
- 2:22:17Speaker 3: you know they're going to have a lot more to
- 2:22:19Speaker 3: deal with with these new reforms.
- 2:22:22Speaker 5: It's they're going to be using like AI and stuff.
- 2:22:24Speaker 5: This is sounds scale to look for really sophisticated medicaid fraud.
- 2:22:29Speaker 5: So the secretary of the Agency for Healthcare Administration was
- 2:22:32Speaker 5: with DeSantis to announce the measures the agency will be taking,
- 2:22:36Speaker 5: all right, like I said. A bizarre twist to an
- 2:22:38Speaker 5: already shocking story. Three dogs have been found dead in
- 2:22:43Speaker 5: the home of a woman who was mauled to death
- 2:22:45Speaker 5: by her neighbor's dogs. Three dogs, three dead dogs have
- 2:22:51Speaker 5: been found in the home of the woman who was
- 2:22:54Speaker 5: mauled to death by two dogs last month.
- 2:22:57Speaker 3: So was that saying that after she was killed, she
- 2:22:59Speaker 3: wasn't able to take care of the dogs or the
- 2:23:00Speaker 3: dogs were dead before That's they don't know, oh man.
- 2:23:04Speaker 5: The animals remains were collected yesterday by deputies with the
- 2:23:07Speaker 5: Brevard County Sheriff's Office and officers with the Animal Services Division.
- 2:23:12Speaker 5: A criminal investigation has been launched. Fifty year old Jody
- 2:23:15Speaker 5: Cohen was attacked by her neighbor's dogs last month. Apparently,
- 2:23:20Speaker 5: she and her husband had been living in an RV
- 2:23:23Speaker 5: on their property and outside of the r V, one
