- 0:05Drama Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling, Yello, welcome back. It's
- 0:21drama Darling Today. It's below Deep and a little dash into the Netflix series
- 0:29that's taking over called Baby Reindeer, So spoilers ahead. We'll talk about that
- 0:35after below Deck and a little hint of news. Joining me is Emily Teresa's
- 0:41Hello, how are you? You know what I'm doing just fine today.
- 0:45I'm feeling good. I'm feeling great. It's a gorgeous California day. Loving
- 0:49it up here in Santa Clarita in the Cheetah Room, and I'm feeling good.
- 0:53How about you down there in Silver Lake? Oh's it was a June
- 0:57glue morning, which I love. It was overcast. Get your stuff done
- 1:02in the morning because it's gonna get hot. That's my favorite day of La
- 1:07June Gloom. I love June gloom and sometimes comes early, like in and
- 1:11April almost be Yeah, it's almost May, which is insane. Yes,
- 1:17well, here we are, that is insane, right, Lord, have
- 1:23mercy, you know, I am excited to talk about below Deck. I
- 1:29also have, you know, little giddiness about Baby Reindeer. But it's a
- 1:34dark giddiness, you know, because of the show is so dark, and
- 1:40I do feel like it's sweeping the It's sweeping the world right now. It's
- 1:45like a huge hit. It's like one hundred percent on rotten tomatoes, I
- 1:49mean, or at least close to that, which is very unheard of.
- 1:52Yeah, unless it's good, then it seems like you can get a hundred
- 1:56percent, like the things that get one hundred percent. It's not rare.
- 2:00If it's good. Yeah, and it's good, and it's good, it's
- 2:02really good. And we'll be talking about that soon. So before we get
- 2:07into that all of it, let's serving dish. Let's hit up some news.
- 2:13All right, Let's see what's going on in here in the Bravo universe.
- 2:17It's everywhere. La Times has an article on it Face Reality sixteen to
- 2:23about it. So we got to get started. The big ones. All
- 2:27the top dogs here are way in. Ariana Maatics and Tom Sandoval firebagged former
- 2:32co star Rachel Levis, denying her allegations that they distributed sexually explicit videos without
- 2:38her consent. So last week, Arianna and Sandoval both filed separate responses in
- 2:46La County Superior Court to Rachel's lawsuit, which accuses them of revenge, porn,
- 2:54eavesdropping, invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress. And so
- 3:00they now basically responded to that and have a declaration requesting that they the court
- 3:07strike Rachel's complaint, citing California's anti slap law, which is something that protects
- 3:15people against frivolous lawsuits. Face reality sixteen actually put the declaration up Ariana Maddox's
- 3:23declaration, and essentially, because they're separate, they're coming from separate lawyers,
- 3:28separate arguments, right, Yeah, if you were to think of Ariana and
- 3:32Tom's house, separate rooms, correct, same house, separate rooms, same
- 3:38type of lawsuit, separate declarations. Yes, And Arianna is basically saying that
- 3:46she did you know, she got the videos off of Tom's phone, sent
- 3:51them to herself, said what she saw, and then from there she was
- 3:59outside confronting Tom about what she saw. He grabbed her phone, her credit
- 4:04cards went down on the ground, She picked up her credit cards. Tom
- 4:09was running away with her phone, and from what I understand, Tom deleted
- 4:15the videos. She said, I did not send the videos to anyone else,
- 4:18nor did I share, display or show the videos to anyone else to
- 4:21be clear, I only saw the video of the plaintiff masturbating in places secluded
- 4:28from others. And Maddick said in her declaration that she was locked in a
- 4:32bathroom stall when she discovered explicit FaceTime videos of Levis on Sandoval's phone. I
- 4:38hurriedly took out my phone and made two recordings of the FaceTime video, she
- 4:42said. She also said she confronted Sandoval later about the videos in an alley,
- 4:46of course it happened in an alley near the West Hollywood venue whereas cover
- 4:50band was performing, and that her ex boyfriend forcibly grabbed her phone from her
- 4:56hands and deleted the videos from her phone. However, before he deleted the
- 5:00videos, Maddox shared them with Levis with the text reading, you're dead to
- 5:05me, but I think you know. Okay, fine, Arianna, you
- 5:13didn't send it. Let's just say you didn't send it to anyway. But
- 5:17like else right, yeah, Tom to me has no defense. He filmed
- 5:21Rachel without her knowledge, and maybe and it was and it was taken off
- 5:31of his phone and maybe without his knowledge, but like that, at the
- 5:35end of the day, he did. There is a violation there. Yeah,
- 5:41And if Ariana did film it. I mean it's weird too because in
- 5:46that argument, I can't wait for the Bravo docket to talk about this.
- 5:48But like, in that argument, she's basically saying, yes, I filmed
- 5:54it, and if it wasn't for Tom, I mean, she's basically like,
- 5:58yeah, I did this and I did send it. Because she's saying
- 6:02I filmed it and sent it, but then Tom deleted it. Yeah,
- 6:08and so she's saying she did which is different. It's a different story than
- 6:14what we originally heard because Arianna said that she deleted it originally. Well that's
- 6:19true. I'm just saying, in a court of law, you're saying you
- 6:23did it, So then like, what are we talking about? This is
- 6:28not a waste of time you did that. So I don't know. Yeah,
- 6:32I can see her saying she's taking responsibility, and she's saying that she
- 6:36did not share this with anyone else. Obviously she shared it with Rachel,
- 6:43which we did not. I did not know that. I also didn't know
- 6:47that Tom was the one that deleted them off of Mariana's phone. I thought
- 6:50Arianna is the one who deleted them off her phone, right, you know,
- 6:55So the story has changed a little bit it has changed, and and
- 7:00of All's motion counters the accusations alleging that quote unquote, these videos were created
- 7:04by Levis and published by Levis to Sandoval via a consensual exchange on FaceTime,
- 7:12i e. Their video calls you know this? That to me is a
- 7:15very flimsy case considering that he recorded them without her knowledge. So yeah,
- 7:21yeah, it was based on Levis's own allegation. Sandoval merely saved private copies
- 7:27of the videos that Levis had filmed and shared with him, So she filmed
- 7:32them and shared them with him. Interesting, Well, I think they're talking
- 7:40about two different things. It sounds like there were there may have been FaceTime
- 7:45videos that they had with each other that he filmed without her consent, But
- 7:48there were also videos that she made and that she that she filmed herself and
- 7:55shared them with Tom. So it sounds like there are two sep Brit things
- 8:01here. Yeah, the ones that she shared with Tom. That's their business.
- 8:05That's what they did. That's fine. It's but like if he's filming
- 8:09her without her knowledge, that's not That's that's what we're talking about, right,
- 8:15Weird. I think what they're trying that lawyers trying to do is be
- 8:18like, hey, this was common practice, but it's it's like you can't
- 8:22you know, it's that's one thing, and this is something that happened without
- 8:28any consent. Right. It's so weird though that that didn't come out right
- 8:33away, as Tom in the middle of the shit wouldn't be like I deleted
- 8:37the videos I took our on his phone and I deleted them. That would
- 8:41have kind of helped him save a little bit of face, even though legally
- 8:45that's murky, but it would have saved his ass right away, even with
- 8:52Rachel, and and it would have cut the confusion right away too. So
- 8:58I don't know, yes, it says right here. By the time I
- 9:01caught up to him, mister Sandoval had deleted my deleted from my phone the
- 9:05videos I had recorded of the FaceTime video. Mister Sandoval also deleted the videos
- 9:11from the recently deleted folder on my phone. Minutes later, I texted one
- 9:18of my friends, Logan Cochrane, about what happened, citing stating I called
- 9:24her Rachel after finding out and texting her the videos of herself from Tom's phone
- 9:31that I took. Tom took my phone and deleted them chased him all the
- 9:35way down San Vicente. True and correct copies of the screenshots I took of
- 9:41those messages are attached here too as exhibit too. After learning about the fair,
- 9:46I began informing my family and other close friends about plaintiffs affair with mister
- 9:52Sandoval, including how learned about it. How I learned about it by discovering
- 9:56the texts and the FaceTime video on mister Sandoval's phone. So that is in
- 10:01the declaration and it is posted on face Reality sixteen. All right, so
- 10:07we're getting down to it. Meanwhile, they're all at stage coach. I
- 10:13mean you like, this is all going down, and Rangel's having the time
- 10:18of her life at stage coach and at the same time is apparently dating a
- 10:24single dad. There we go, So that's out there. So she is
- 10:31at stage coach, which also there was a screenshot of her wearing a shirt
- 10:35at stage coach that was Ariana's or that Ariana wore. She's wearing that at
- 10:39stage coach, which is weird. Is the single dad Mauricio, Well,
- 10:46I wouldn't be surprised if he was at stage coach either. He is with
- 10:50Kyle. Oh, that's right. There they were together. Yeah, how
- 10:54about that? How about it? I don't mean, look and Sheena's there
- 10:58living your best life. She took a picture with post Malone got Lala's there
- 11:03with her with her baby belly. Everyone's wearing cowboy boots and cowboy hats.
- 11:09I thought it was the Cowboy Festival, quite frankly from Santa Clarita. Also
- 11:15in SHNA news because it's never we don't have enough about Sena me, I'm
- 11:24talking about Yushinaky. You looked great at stagecoach. You looked amazing. I
- 11:30think her mom was there all decked out. But in other news, Sena
- 11:35and Brock were both on the NBC sitcom The Lopez Family, and she plays
- 11:41a doctor. Okay, cool, Well they got a day rate. I'm
- 11:48happy for them. I mean, you never know that could lead to Dancing
- 11:52with the Stars, so I just want to give acknowledgment to that. So
- 11:56good for them that you did the Lopez Show to get on Dancing with the
- 12:03Stars. You deserved it. Mariana knew that I wanted to be on the
- 12:07low Pez Family show so I can get on Dancing with the stars. Oh
- 12:16my god, the next Deadline article is going to be like Ariano Medics cast
- 12:20as new cast member on the Low. Pez maam as lead medic in the
- 12:26list lead Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah ya y. All right,
- 12:33Well, before we get into our below deck recap, I just want to
- 12:37talk a little bit about skincare. With Mother's Day coming up, I just
- 12:41want to appreciate all the mams out there and anyone who's taken on the role
- 12:46of caregiver. So listen, you do everything for everyone else, it is
- 12:50time to do something for yourself and start with your skin. Today's sponsor,
- 12:54One Skin has a simple, scientifically validated routine that keeps your skin looking good
- 13:00and feeling good. And guess what this is the best part. It targets
- 13:05the root cause of aging. You know, I like to go down deep
- 13:07with things, and the bottom line is that a lot of skincare that's available
- 13:13out there is designed to provide a temporary reduction in the visible signs of aging
- 13:18on the surface level, but they don't necessarily address the underlying decline in skin
- 13:22health. And listen, the secret to One Skin's proprietary os one peptide is
- 13:28that it's the first ingredient proven to switch off the aging cells that cause lines
- 13:33wrinkles and thinning skin. So for limited time, you'll get an exclusive fifteen
- 13:37percent off your first one skin purchase using the code drama when you check out

- 13:56percent off, And after you purchase the last key where you heard about him,
- 14:00please support my show and tell him that I sent you. So,
- 14:03why don't we get into what are we talking about below date, below deck?
- 14:07Let's get into below d Yeah, yeah, okay, so essentially we
- 14:16you know, it was like it wasn't the craziest episode, which is fine,
- 14:22you know, I mean it's it's it was more of a sleeper episode.
- 14:24I would say, oh, I thought it was really good because I
- 14:28mean, like so positive, I love it. No, I love it,
- 14:33I love it. It's great. Well, I mean it was it
- 14:37was like I get that there wasn't any explosions, but like it was pretty
- 14:43tense with the new chef coming on and like with the Barbie and Kyle stuff
- 14:50happening. I at the Sonny and Ben's stuff, like, I don't know.
- 14:54I know you're right. The couples were popping. They were popping.
- 14:58Yeah, and we now, like Chef Anthony is gone, and I'm kind
- 15:03of glad just because he was struggling a lot and I think we needed h
- 15:09Yeah, seeing how disgusting that kitchen was was like, yeah, that was
- 15:13tough. Yeah, because you don't know until someone's telling you want to,
- 15:16Like, as an audience, we can't tell it all looks the same,
- 15:20so you kind of have to have someone say there's black mold inside the seam
- 15:24and I don't know how anybody didn't get black mold or whatever kind of terrifying.
- 15:31I mean, god, yeah, maybe it wasn't black mold, but
- 15:35he was like it was mold, and I don't know how anybody didn't get
- 15:39food poisoning, and oh lord god, that's so terrible. And you know
- 15:45you don't want this to follow him as he like, he can't defend himself.
- 15:48He's off of the boat, so he can't be like I didn't ever
- 15:52see it, pelais. We don't worry about the black mold because you know
- 15:58we all mean to it. You know, he couldn't defend himself. Yeah
- 16:02yeah, I mean technically mold as a cheese. It was from the board.
- 16:07I mean, I know he can't defend himself, but I also feel
- 16:14like that's kind of the risk you take getting on one of these shows,
- 16:15like it truly and like he didn't do a great he wasn't ready for the
- 16:22job. So this is just another way to let the audience know, like
- 16:26that decision for from Captain Carey was absolutely right, absolutely right. We pick
- 16:34up in the morning and Barbie is still I mean, all night long,
- 16:38she must have just been like, dad is gonna kill me, Daddy's father,
- 16:41Father's gonna kill me. Father, Dad, He's gonna kill me,
- 16:45like, and she just couldn't shake it, and it was God, I'd
- 16:48stop, just tell him not to watch the episode, you know, uh
- 16:53yeah, hear about who cares? It blows my mind still that her mother
- 17:00is a sex therapist, right, and Barbie and like I guess we see
- 17:07in the next episode, like the preview, her sister are so hung up
- 17:11on their dad's approval in terms of how they should conduct themselves sexually, Like
- 17:18it is so crazy to me. I look, I understand you don't want
- 17:22to be on a reality show on TV having sex with someone, but it's
- 17:26all sure, it's below deck. And though you might think that you're the
- 17:33exemption, you know that you might be exempt from these types of things.
- 17:36You have to consider that before going in. If you're that worried, don't
- 17:38put yourself in that situation, right, I can't. I mean, yes,
- 17:45I agree with you because you know what the show is and you have
- 17:49experience on these boats. And if you know yourself and you want to be
- 17:53on this show and you have a tendency to hook up with your castmates or
- 17:59you're coworkers, then what are you doing? Like in my mind, I'm
- 18:03like, well, clearly she's trying to break this for her father. Like,
- 18:07clearly she is looking for her freedom from this because she knew exactly what
- 18:12was going to go down and did it anyway. So to me, I'm
- 18:18like, yeah, hopefully in a couple of years you feel really great about
- 18:22this because you subconsciously were not liking how you had to live. Mm hmm.
- 18:30She doesn't like it, and she's mad at herself. There's a lot
- 18:33of shame there, and yeah, it's tough to watch. Fraser is calling
- 18:41out Barbie and he's like why are you and keeping it a secret? Just
- 18:45own up to it. I'm like Fraser, just you know, just lay
- 18:51off of Barbie. You know, she's got to have a shame as it
- 18:53is. And I honestly, this whole Barbie and Kyle thing, I didn't
- 19:00really understand what Kyle did wrong because nothing, Okay, Well why does she
- 19:07keep saying he keeps talking about it to other people? Well, I think
- 19:12maybe what we didn't see. He is talking about it a lot with Ben,
- 19:17and I didn't like that Ben was reading the text chain. I thought,
- 19:21like, this is so gross Kyle. Like, so I guess in
- 19:26that way it's not nothing, but like, but she wouldn't have even known
- 19:30that, right, right, right? So I guess, like, you
- 19:37know, Barbie, you've been on these but you know the second that you
- 19:40are pounding anything, they could hear it two boats over, Like everybody is
- 19:45going to hear this, they're going to comment on it, and Kyle,
- 19:52I think, can speak to it. So I don't know what she's so
- 19:56up. I don't know what she wanted him to do. I don't know
- 20:00and she what did she say about like he knows that I'm this and I
- 20:03won't be orthodox. I mean, I don't know. I think Barbie was
- 20:10grasping its straws. I think she was trying to put it on Kyle so
- 20:11her dad would be less mad. And I just think she sabotaged it essentially.
- 20:15Okay, right, I think that that's probably makes the most sense,
- 20:19that she just all of a sudden had so much shame that she just was
- 20:22spun out. She's obviously going to Fraser and being like, I'm having a
- 20:27bad day. I feel like I disappointed my dad, and now she's just
- 20:32going to knock all the pins down and call it a day because she feels
- 20:38that she just needs to end it entirely, and she's looking for a reason.
- 20:42Yeah, yeah, okay, that has to be a I mean,
- 20:45it's because it didn't seem obvious to me. I was very very confused,
- 20:48and Kyle seemed, uh he seems really into her and he really really likes
- 20:56her, and I know kind of felt for him because I also feel like,
- 21:03I don't know, Kyle's in a position too where he's got producers up
- 21:07his ass to talk about it, you know, like there's a lot going
- 21:11on there. Just like the fact that I mean, this is completely Barbie
- 21:17trying to break the chains of the shame from her dad. That's it.
- 21:22Yeah, whether she realizes it or not, this is what that is.
- 21:26And I hope her mom hardcore has her back, because her mom can be
- 21:30like, you know, husband, you're being very unhealthy to our kids,
- 21:36and it's fucking them up on the open seas when anything should be able to
- 21:41happen. Even there, she's not free in international waters. So the new
- 21:49chef arrives and I don't know his name. Don't think I wrote it down,
- 21:53thank you. Yeah, I didn't write it down here. Well Amy
- 22:00did arrive just in the nick of time. Oh okay, yes he did.
- 22:06That didn't take the episode nick of time? Yeah, it wasn't that.
- 22:11It was happy Captain, happy life. Yeah yeah. Yeah. So
- 22:17he arrives and it didn't take long to find this chef at all. You
- 22:22know, usually it takes a lot longer where you're stuck. But maybe I
- 22:26think Captain carry a few charters back, was like, oh, you know,
- 22:30go to get somebody. I'm not feeling it. So he lays down
- 22:37the law with Nick and he's like, toll right, no lights in the
- 22:40galley, thrown things around. It's like, all right, thanks for letting
- 22:44us know what boat had a knife fight. Captain. Yeah, a good
- 22:52question. So he's forty one and he's been chefing for twenty years, and
- 23:00so we leave that there. Then we're we're kind of like, before the
- 23:03charter guests arrive, we have been posting a story. And this is where
- 23:08things get really caught in the crosshairs. First of all, Ben is such
- 23:12a douchebag. For one, yes, two, we have last seasons Below
- 23:19Deck airing at that time, so now he's obligated to posting on social media
- 23:27to promote that season while he's on another season, phill, and that is
- 23:36the problem. That is the problem I had. I can't do that together,
- 23:41yes together, because you want to know why, because he had put
- 23:45up in the stories tonight a new episode of Below Deck. And then that's
- 23:52why it was the ask me anything situation. Why he was doing that.
- 23:56He has to fulfill obligations for that season and he has to like live in
- 24:00that season as if it's the present because people are wondering and he can't really
- 24:06have spoilers. So that was all just business, okay. That being said,
- 24:11he was definitely thinking about Camille and that's for real, and he was
- 24:18starting to push Sonny away, So then he's putting he's putting up these stories
- 24:22push away, God blessed. Oh you mean later on really? Yeah?
- 24:30And then he's like, yeah, nude below deck episode tonight. And then
- 24:33people are asking what's happening with him and Camille. He's like, lots happened
- 24:37from the season and just you'll find out. So he's teasing it. Then
- 24:41someone asks, what's your favorite snack? On Charter, he puts up a
- 24:45picture of Camille her. I mean, is it insensitive, yes, because
- 24:53he's trying to live a whole separate life and he's done a whole other Charter.
- 24:56But like, also you sort of have to play the game. Well,
- 25:03you know, he could tell Sonny what's up, but he you know,
- 25:08I think he legit didn't give her any heads up, no heads up,
- 25:12yeah, because I don't think Sonny has an inner to perform like devastation
- 25:19at that level. Yeah. Like he also didn't have to say her as
- 25:23a snag. He could have just been legit like grapes. You know,
- 25:26he could have said anything anything. So that is very weird, And I
- 25:32also just made me think, like we can't have this happening again. Where
- 25:36we have a crossover with airing and then trying to live your life on the
- 25:42actual new season, because that's really confusing for people. That's we're getting into
- 25:49like bravocon world, where you have people on panels speaking about drama that happened
- 25:56in the season, and then in the season they're talking about drama that happened
- 26:00at Bravocon that it just gets way too interwoven and there needs to be harder
- 26:04lines being drawn. I don't mind if it's inner woven as long as it's
- 26:10authentic. But this feels really inauthentic. Yeah, it gives you a real
- 26:15peek into how they advertise and they just promote the shows and they just say
- 26:19anything to keep you guys, you guys meaning us right interested in Oh this
- 26:26is what he said in his stories, And you know, yes, I
- 26:30would rather that. I would rather that we just didn't see the post,
- 26:37like why are we covering that? But I guess Sonny's reaction is why we're
- 26:40covering it. But yeah, and that's not her fault. I'm just saying
- 26:42like, it's not yeah, it's just murky, murky waters. And then
- 26:51and then he's like, Okay, let's see what else he's said, Sonny
- 26:56sees the stories, and then Paris can front Spen and you know, it's
- 27:00just like this is happening. You know, you're a douchebag. And then
- 27:04Ben finally talks to Sonny and just says, I just need to end this
- 27:08charter season strong. If we sleep together, we sleep together, we don't,
- 27:11we don't, you know, I just think we shouldn't get attached to
- 27:15each other. You know. Also he sidebars with Everybody'd be like, what
- 27:18is wrong these fucking girls? Chicks? Oh? Oh, chicks, chicks.
- 27:23Yeah, number one douchebag. I mean, I don't know if we've
- 27:29seen a bigger douchebag than we probably have, but Ben is really douchey.
- 27:34I mean, it's just the fact that he keeps setting himself up so perfectly
- 27:41to be a douchebag. And then it's like, gosh, everybody's an asshole
- 27:45around me, I mean ladies. So yeah, I'm so grossed out by
- 27:52him. I know, I was glad that when he tried calling Camille.
- 27:56Oh, he was like, do you want to meet up in Florida?
- 27:59And She's like, eh, don't think so I loved it. I'm just
- 28:03getting settled in It was even better than saying no. It's just like giving
- 28:07him his own bullshit right back to him, and he had to just take
- 28:12it and swallow it on camera. Yeah, on camera. Ah, what
- 28:18an asshole. I love it. And is he getting tanner? Is he
- 28:22getting more tan? But I think he was just beat red from the rejection.
- 28:27I was like, yea, good as the more you lie Pinocchio's nose
- 28:30Girls grows, the more douchey he gets, the tanner he gets. And
- 28:37you know, she Sonny when he said that to her about like, oh,
- 28:41let's just finish the charter season. If we, you know, sleep
- 28:45together, we do, she was like huh yeah, see tomorrow. And
- 28:48then she runs off crying and it was just so sad. It felt bad
- 28:52for her and she's crawling to the ladies and because she put it on herself,
- 28:56I was like, Sonny, come on, that was head of thick.
- 29:00We've got a couple of girls who are wrestling with some demons here.
- 29:03Barbie's got some very obvious shame and Sonny is taking it all on herself and
- 29:11taking responsibility where she didn't need to. So ladies got to empower ours like
- 29:18she should have been cooler, Like, he's been gaslighting you since the fucking
- 29:23docks on day one, since the doc, since the gang Way he crossed
- 29:30over, and it was just the gaslighting began. Yeah. I mean that
- 29:34was the thing that he loved the most about Sonny is how much gaslighting he
- 29:38could do and get away with with her. And then it wasn't that much
- 29:44fun anymore. So do you want to bet will they hook up again before
- 29:49the end of the charter? Probably? Absolutely. I mean I'm not moving
- 29:56for that. I just have a feeling, yeah, because you know what's
- 30:00to happen is he was shut down by Camille, So he's gonna come groveling
- 30:03back to her, yeah, and like love bomb her. Yeah, and
- 30:07she's gonna go with it. Yep mm hmm. But what's more to stay
- 30:12safe from Dylan? But go ahead, Dylan, that guy. We hug
- 30:18your stomach as you lean over. I know he's the most awkward person.
- 30:23He really really is. He really is. When then they were they were
- 30:27cleaning Zandy and Paris and laughing at him like through the glass, I was
- 30:33like, you were going to break him because that is the ship that like
- 30:37fuels him. He's going to murder everyone on that boat one night. Yeah,
- 30:41well he's gonna snap yeah, yeah, snap yeah yeah. What's more
- 30:45concerning to me is Paris making a smoothie putting strawberries in there with the stems
- 30:52on. I don't get it, the full strawberry in the blender, leaving
- 30:59the green stems them. Wait, you eat the red part she left them
- 31:07on? Yeah? No, I know. I eat the green stems because
- 31:12they're very good for you. They are, Yes, you leave them on.
- 31:18I have strawberry too. I was messing with you. I know that
- 31:22you eat the green stems along with the strawberry. The leaves are really good
- 31:26for you. What I'm not doing a bit. I swear the leaves that
- 31:30google it. I believe you. I mean I do. I just I
- 31:36just never seen that before. I never considered it. I just like,
- 31:38what, Yeah, eat the whole thing. Gang, get your greens.
- 31:44I'm totally serious. Look it up. They're full of nutrients. Wow.
- 31:49I never considered that. Like, I don't know why it seems so obvious,
- 31:53but yeah, I mean it doesn't. Maybe like it takes some of
- 31:57the sweetness out a little bit. It's probably bitter as hell, isn't it?
- 32:02Is it bitter? I mean, yeah, I mean in season,
- 32:07you don't notice it as much. Look, the darlings are gonna come for
- 32:09me, and I stand by the I don't know value. I bet you
- 32:14on the last one to know this. I never Eva have EVA put strollbearing
- 32:20steams. Like, if I'm presenting something for guests, I would I would
- 32:25cut, like if I was going to make like a platter, I would
- 32:29cut the cut the leaves off. But Emily on that I think that you
- 32:34would leave them on and pressure all your guests to eat them, eat your
- 32:37stems. I would not be that host. Did you know that the leaves
- 32:44eat it? Eat it? I just was like, and they really made
- 32:50a point to showing that blender with those strawberries, which made me think I
- 32:55don't know either, Like me, yeah, no, I a hundred centigree
- 33:00and I thought like, I bet they don't know that. That's actually because
- 33:05they held the shot for a minute a long time. I thought it was
- 33:07gonna be like a Top Chef AD. I was like, is this an
- 33:09emulsion blender? Are we going to get an AD? It was gonna be
- 33:13a code, a QR code on the side to buy this. Yeah,
- 33:17Well, I'm here to tell you one and all. It is my understanding
- 33:22that those leaves are good for you. So will she drank it, Chris,
- 33:27She drank it and she goes hmmm yeah, Like it was like is
- 33:30it good or bad? I couldn't And then they cut away. I was
- 33:34like, you left us on this smoothie making for so long and left us
- 33:39with a real cliffhanger. Whether she liked it or not, this was not
- 33:44an exciting episode. Look at you, I know, torn, I'm jazzed
- 33:49up, dragged up, all right, So Kylon Barber in this fight and
- 33:57she's like, I can't trust you, and that just pingpong back and forth.
- 34:00Charter guests arrive and they're just a gaggle of influencers. Uh yeah,
- 34:07which which seeing them just filming everything quietly, bleak dark, yeah, yeah,
- 34:15yeahs. It was a deep rooted sadness of where we are in life,
- 34:21like this is what, this is who we are as a nation,
- 34:24as a people. Yeah. Yeah. One of my favorite accounts is Influencers
- 34:29in the Wild, which is pretty popular where they just somebody just covers influencers
- 34:35out like in the streets. Yeah, and it's so like it's just like
- 34:40watching someone dance without music. Kind of thing is you're not seeing the final
- 34:44product, but it looks so sad. That's why I always have such a
- 34:49hard time with social media, because I can never break that part of me
- 34:53where I can do that, like just naturally go out and be like,
- 35:00you know how Bethany's always you know, there are just certain people who can
- 35:04film film film. Yeah, I know a lot of people like that,
- 35:07and they just seem to be able to be comfortable with it. I just
- 35:09cannot do it. I feel so weird. I agree, That's why I
- 35:15don't post much. But I mean, like I could post privately, sure,
- 35:20but no. You see it all the time in LA and it's just
- 35:22like what has happened to you? Like it's as though someone is constantly conducting
- 35:28a conversation just with themselves. And I get that there's like, you know,
- 35:32potentially thousands of people watching it, but it to me is just such
- 35:37a I just can't wrap my head around it as a part of something I
- 35:42want to do, Yeah, to launch into a full personality, you know,
- 35:49like in the middle of a grocery store, right right at a flower
- 35:54shop, to just all of a sudden be like I can't believe these daffodils
- 35:59are like sick you guys, check this out, these daffodils. And then
- 36:04and then to just turn it off, and then she'd be like, can
- 36:06I have a bundle of daffodils? And do you have any baby's breath?
- 36:08You know, like to then conduct regular business like a normal human being.
- 36:15I mean, but humiliating to me. I think even less engagement after they
- 36:20turn it off, just dead face dead yeah, and no engagement because it
- 36:25kind of reminds me of like, I don't know, like when my mom
- 36:29would be like mad at my brother and I, but then the phone ring
- 36:31and she'd get on and we'd both be like, what we're in big trouble,
- 36:38but like Theresa's residence and then and then she'd hang up the phone and
- 36:45then she'd be like, you know, not speaking again. So I'm like,
- 36:50ugh, that's the same vibe where I'm just like, wait, what
- 36:52why are you doing this? You were just so happy to be telling us
- 36:57about these daffodils. I wouldn't to learn more learny war. The old phone
- 37:02bits are great, like we used to have the phones, Oh my god,
- 37:06and you would answer the phone, you know, Phillip's residence sometimes depending
- 37:12like I would do it ironically most of the time, but you're right,
- 37:15if you know, the moms would be like, get Kirk, Chris and
- 37:20Amy get we are having to yell yello yello. Uh huh, or like
- 37:29sometimes she really couldn't mask it and she'd be just be like you will not
- 37:32hello. You know that would be about as much as she could do.
- 37:37Hello. Yes, he's in disposed right now? May I take a message?
- 37:44It was always that he's in disposed. If it was one of our
- 37:47friends, they'd catch a vibe that maybe it wasn't so cool. Ah.
- 37:52Yeah, you really have to know the family pretty good. Yeah. Yeah,
- 38:00So I really was worried about our new chef after that bowl of fries
- 38:05and everyone was left holding this bowl of fries looking around like what the f
- 38:10yeah with this small fry not reading the preference sheet again, yausers, I
- 38:19mean I guess, yeah, go ahead. He was able to pivot in
- 38:22the moment, which Anthony couldn't do. Anthony could not, but I was
- 38:27like, dude, you've been at it for twenty years, read the preference
- 38:31sheet and then but I'm like, was he so focused on the dinner of
- 38:37seven fishes? Because and that's why the Feast of seven Fishes, and that's
- 38:44why he just overlooked the preference sheet. I mean, maybe that's a good
- 38:50point, or maybe he was like, we're doing seven fishes, so I'm
- 38:53going to just move this stuff around and think, Yeah, that was a
- 38:57good decision, that was okay. But he should have bounce off of people.
- 39:00Yeah right. I mean in a way, those preference sheets, as
- 39:06crazy as they can get, are a good I mean, to me,
- 39:10I would think that they would take some of the pressure off cause it's like,
- 39:14I don't have to think of lamb chops. I just have to think
- 39:16of this seafood spread when they get here, right, And I love a
- 39:21lamb chop, But I am thinking when I bored a charter, I don't
- 39:25want a lamb chop. I want seafood. I want a lighter fair for
- 39:30lunch. Yeah right. I agree that Feast of the Seven Fishes, though,
- 39:37wasn't absolutely incredible executed perfectly. Yeah, plighting, tyst freezing, tshing
- 39:46really knock my captain sulks. So that was nice. I mean I was
- 39:51happy about it. Captain Carrie's little Christmas bow tie. I know that the
- 39:54guests gave him oh, they gave him that. Yeah, one of the
- 39:59guests is gave him his extra one, which I thought was nice because otherwise
- 40:01it didn't seem like he was maybe fully prepared for the theme I did.
- 40:08I do have nachos and all capitals exclamation point, yes, fourteen exclamation points
- 40:15meaning you like, that's what you want? I want nachos, you want
- 40:20nacho just stat across the board no matter what time, like Jill wants,
- 40:25like at all times, have nachos out served? Nachos? When? When?
- 40:30When was swimming nachos? Woman eating nachos, when was sleeping nachos?
- 40:32The morning nachos, lunch, nachos, dinna nachos? Nachos? Are he
- 40:37just it was like, yeah, the fees of seven Visions and then nachos.
- 40:45The lunch was nachos. Okay. That was like the first thing he
- 40:49came at us with was like the first thing as chef on the boat he
- 40:52announced he was making was nachos. And I was like, fuck you,
- 40:58class, this is this is my kind of society. I loved it.
- 41:04Yeah, and then that guy changed into a Nacho King T shirt. I
- 41:07was like, wow, he really is the nacho king about it very impressive,
- 41:15and then he joins them for the dinner and Carrie, Captain Carrie tells
- 41:21a scary story. Oh about they asked him Somalia and fishnets, and I'm
- 41:28not talking about the panteos. The pirates were very fucking hot in fish nets.
- 41:35Yeah, no, yeah, the pirates, but it wasn't really pirates.
- 41:37They were local fishermen or something, right, Yeah, like that.
- 41:43It looks like one of the guests has a thing for Frasier and my foot
- 41:49fetish. Oh yeah, you know, he wants Fraser to walk on him
- 41:53with soft feet his so yeah, and his and his legs. And I
- 41:58was like, well, he's probably not wrong that he has soft feet,
- 42:02and like everything about Fraser is like tight soft to me. Yeah, like
- 42:07a good lotion. Yeah, he's definitely gonna muscle. He's like one of
- 42:15the seven fishes, you know, just yes, yeah, And this is
- 42:20getting weird. Okay, it's like a salamander. It's so weird. Fraser
- 42:28Dylan's daily affirmations. I'm okay with it. I like it. It's fine.
- 42:34It's a good way to not have to watch him interact. Yeah,
- 42:37I'd rather tear his affirmations than anything he has to say, yeah, I
- 42:44don't mind him. I'd like, there's I have such a curiosity about him
- 42:50because we just haven't seen him approach any situation in a human way. And
- 42:55then so I keep wanting him to take another crack at it. But at
- 43:00the same time, I'm okay with quiet Dyalan moments. Yeah, I'm all
- 43:02right with that. Did you see the promo for Watch What Happens? Because
- 43:07he was on Watch What Happens with Rachel Harris. You know how Andy does
- 43:10the teaser real quick and it's kind of off the cuff, the guests don't
- 43:15know what he's going to say necessarily, and he was like, Rachel Harris
- 43:20is here. Rachel. It was like I wrote it down. She's like,
- 43:24oh, how do you feel about was one of your on your preference
- 43:29sheet to be in the below deck be sharing the show with a below Deck
- 43:32cast member? And she just blinks and stares and she's like, oh,
- 43:37I like Captain Carrie Dylan was just like I was like, well, this
- 43:52is maybe why we should script these moments or give ahead up. She is
- 43:57so funny, honest, the honesty. Yeah, good for her. She
- 44:04loves she loves Bravo stuff. Okay, So Ben tells Barbie that Kyle is
- 44:10down and how and Ben says, I don't appreciate how you're talking to Kyle,
- 44:17and Barbie's like, that's my personal problem and not my and not your
- 44:22issue. And then Kyle tries to talk to Barbie and Barbie was like,
- 44:28you're talking about her issues to everyone else, and he's like, I'm sorry,
- 44:30I'm sorry, and she accepts his apology, but she doesn't trust him.
- 44:34Yeah, I'm like, Ben, shut up, and thank god.
- 44:37She was like, you can't talk to me about anything, dude, I'm
- 44:42so glad she mentioned Sonny. Yeah, yeah, you're right. She did
- 44:45mention that that was good. So that's pretty much it that happened on this
- 44:51episode. Yeah, I mean, here we are. Yeah, so there's
- 44:57that. So why don't we talk about Baby Reindeer? Yeah, spoiler spoilers,
- 45:06spoiler spoilers, spoiler spoilers, spoiler spoiler, Baby Reindeer spoiler, spoiler
- 45:09spoiler. Okay, you've been warned, you know, and we're not going
- 45:15to go like tell you everything that happened, obviously because you should watch it
- 45:20for yourself. But yeah, right off the bat, I mean ten stars
- 45:23for this series on Netflix it's seven episodes half an hour each. Emily pointed
- 45:29out there may be one that might be a little longer, probably episode episode
- 45:34four four. And what I'm interested in right now real quick is to talk
- 45:39about the Edinburgh Festival, because we Fringe. The Fringe Festival. Richard Gadd
- 45:47did his show there and by doing this show a version of what this Netflix
- 45:53series is, by doing his live version of this, he was approached by
- 45:59like seventy three production companies or producers or what have you to make this into
- 46:05a series, and he decided to go with Netflix, and good choice.
- 46:13Yeah. So that being said, you know, Emily and her husband produce
- 46:17a ton of stuff at the Fringe Festival, and your husband is there pretty
- 46:23much every year, correct, Yeah, most of August, well, like
- 46:28for about six weeks. I used to go for about six weeks when I
- 46:31was running everything. But yeah, it's crazy. It was so great to
- 46:37see, like the flyering. It's just such an intense month of theater and
- 46:45it's the biggest theater festival in the world and it's attended by the City of
- 46:51Edinburgh. Like I think it grows some crazy amount, like ten times its
- 46:57normal population or something. But it's kind of the way we approach it.
- 47:00It's like a trade show, a month long trade show, so that you
- 47:06can put your show out there to see what will come after Edinburgh. So
- 47:13but he had been there Richard Gadd Baby Reindeer was in twenty nineteen, but
- 47:19he had been there previously with other shows. I don't know the year he
- 47:23was there with the show that was in that bar, if that even happened.
- 47:30But the average there's so many shows. I was telling Amy too about
- 47:36like there will be like a show in literally a phone booth where they will
- 47:40sell one ticket. That's the point they sow. There's the milk There was
- 47:44a guy one year that did the Milk Bath show which he only sold one
- 47:47ticket and was in his hotel room. I'm saying he had thirty shows that
- 47:51month and he sold one ticket per show on purpose, and you would go
- 47:55to his hotel room and he would give you a milk bath and swaddow you
- 48:00it's sold out. It's sold out, right of course it then, but
- 48:05then there's like shows like Stomp got their start in Edinburgh, or Flea Bag,
- 48:14Flight of the Concords, I think, Mighty Boosh. There's like a
- 48:16lot of them, especially Okay, yeah, I was gonna say, especially
- 48:21UK shows for sure. Are there any American shows that you can think of
- 48:24that would be of no aiety that I would know? I don't know.
- 48:30Six started there the Broadway show. I mean, we do a lot like
- 48:37our scripted shows. We start in Edinburgh and do a ton of touring out
- 48:44of that. It's not necessarily What are some examples of your shows my shows?
- 48:49Our shows are like Fifty Shades the musical, or Thrones the musical,
- 48:54which was a parody, but we always take over Baby When's Candy, which
- 48:59is an improvised musical, And the last couple of years we took sh Hamilton,
- 49:05which is an improvised version of Hamilton. I just anyway, So anyway,
- 49:10stalkers, I feel like we're like going on a sidebar here about Edinburgh.
- 49:16Well, what were you or your husband there at the time when he
- 49:21would have put this show up. A lot of people, a lot of
- 49:25our cast went to that Baby Reindeer show and did they Oh so they did
- 49:30see it? Oh yeah, yeah? And what did they say when they
- 49:32when they saw did they report back like, oh my gosh, that's the
- 49:36best show at Edinburgh? Because it won Best show a lot. Yeah,
- 49:39they loved it. A lot of people liked it. And the vibe was
- 49:44that he is going, he tells the audience the whole time, she could
- 49:49show up, like that's the intense he he like says it a lot.
- 49:53I guess I didn't see it. I wasn't there that year. But he's
- 49:58just like, she could show up and any moment she could literally be in
- 50:00the audience. Now I do not know, Like, so that's the vibe
- 50:05of the show, like it's intense from the beginning. Okay, And he
- 50:08played clips of her voicemails and all that stuff. Oh he did yeah yeah,
- 50:15wow, wow, wow, wow wow wow. You know she's outed
- 50:20herself. Now, yes, I heard that, but I haven't seen her.
- 50:23Have you seen a picture of her or yeah? I saw that she
- 50:28and she sounds just like in terms of not vote, I don't know.
- 50:32I don't know what her voice sounds like. But what she was saying was
- 50:35like, I'm a lawyer, I'm gonna like sue. Now he's stalking me
- 50:39with this show. Yeah yeah, yeah, because I guess she's writing on
- 50:45her Facebook or something. Yeah, the real Martha, the real Martha.
- 50:52Well, what's wild is that? Josh Josh gadd I thing, oh you
- 50:57did okay? Yeah? Yeah. Richard gadd you know, wrote wrote this,
- 51:02performed this, then he had to shoot this entire series, and as
- 51:07the person the victim of the stalker, as a victim of the stalker,
- 51:13as a victim of essay, had to relive it many times obviously through the
- 51:20creation of this project and then also shooting it. And I just really found
- 51:25that to be a tough pill to swallow when I thought back on it,
- 51:30considering how intense things got in like the fourth episode, which I didn't expect
- 51:34it to go that dark, and I did feel like speaking to the essay
- 51:39he and this obviously is based on a true story, so he is saying
- 51:45that this did happen to him from a like a well known producer, yeah,
- 51:50and that he thought he could get somewhere with his show. And in
- 51:54some of the interviews that I've saw or read, he has really spoken to
- 51:59that whole aspect of the story that he wanted to shed light on people who
- 52:07that he can normalize this type of situation because it's not necessarily the type of
- 52:14essay that you have in your mind, like when you're if you're young,
- 52:16you know, he was in his early twenties when this happened, and sometimes
- 52:22these situations look like so you know, when you think of it and you
- 52:25think, why didn't you leave or why didn't you get out? Why do
- 52:28you keep going back? And he wanted to really extrapolate the aspect of this
- 52:35type of essay that it's really not that cut and dry, that it's not
- 52:37that black and white, that these types of things can happen, and they're
- 52:40so layered and the dimensions that are involved in this, and he had never
- 52:45seen anything like this out there, and he wanted to really speak to that
- 52:52and hopefully help other people who have experienced similar things to normalize that and to
- 52:58let other people know, like, this happens, This has happened to me,
- 53:00This happened to me, and if it's happened to you, like,
- 53:04this is what happens, and this is why it can be so complicated.
- 53:07And I think that was really brave of him, considering how I can't imagine
- 53:13emotionally having to relive that essentially dramatically on camera. And I think the acting
- 53:21is incredible by him. And then also his co star who played Martha,
- 53:25is beyond incredible and He would say many times that when he was shooting,
- 53:31he would literally forget his lines because she's so amazing. She incredibly encapsulated this
- 53:37character so much though they like knocked his socks off. And really the fact
- 53:45that this stalking went on for six months before he even reported it speaks to
- 53:51how he was in some way this was feeding him. And he says this
- 53:54in a lot of his interviews that like the way that he wanted to be
- 53:58seen by people as like really really funny and really worship admired. Yes,
- 54:05he wasn't getting that, you know, and this woman walking into his bar
- 54:08was giving this to him every day, so he was kind of feeding off
- 54:13of that in man, but also masked all the essays stuff that he had
- 54:17gone through. It was such a distraction that he needed. I thought that
- 54:22was really great too, because I feel like that's something that like sometimes you
- 54:29don't know why you're doing these horrible, bad habits because you're just doing them
- 54:35so you don't have to think about this other horrible thing. It's completely a
- 54:38distraction. Yeah. And and the fact that when he went to the police,
- 54:45he didn't tell them anything about as he said, like the groping,
- 54:50the the more violent messages that he received, the physical attack against Terry,
- 54:59his girlfriend at the time. All these things he did not report, which
- 55:05was weird, and then they basically were like, why don't you You have
- 55:08to find something that can be incriminating. So then he became He went down
- 55:13this long tangent of listening to all of the voicemails and reading all of the
- 55:16emails and finding something to where he finally found something and then she got like
- 55:23nine months. Well, no, what happened was that he was basically categorized.
- 55:30He cataloged all this for himself. It was initially brought on that the
- 55:36police needed it, but he was cataloging all of it for himself, and
- 55:39there were so many threatening ones so they would just get filed under threatening.
- 55:44But then he kept everything and didn't want to report it until she threatened to
- 55:47stab his family. Hmmm, that's right, that's right. And then once
- 55:52she started going after his family again because he knew she'd already make contact and
- 55:57all that, then that's when he was like, all right, well I
- 56:00can't take this chance. Yeah, and she got nine months and then five
- 56:07years probation. So that's why I'm like when he says in the live show,
- 56:12she could show up here. I mean, I guess she would be
- 56:15breaking her the rules if she were to show up at the show, right.
- 56:23When you talk to people about this show, you know, like in
- 56:28the Netflix series, it shows that he went to to show up one night
- 56:32to do his stand up comedy for the competition it was the finals, and
- 56:37then during that competition he broke down and just like said everything about the stocking,
- 56:45the sexual abuse and everything he had gone through, and that someone took
- 56:52a video and it went viral and that's how you know, But that isn't
- 56:55necessarily what happened. So in the actual Edinburgh show, was it that he
- 57:00played like he was this kooky prop comic and then he acted into this breakdown
- 57:10and that was the show. Is that how it okay? Yeah? I
- 57:14don't know. I think it was more true to the Netflix special where he's
- 57:17telling you kind of how it all went down. But I did see I
- 57:22didn't know that. I just saw this online that he really like Martha's represented
- 57:29with like a bar chair the whole show, and like it was like a
- 57:34super simple set and you know, he was just like going through the paces
- 57:38and then talking more about how he was breaking down. Oh interesting, Okay,
- 57:45yeah, because from what I understand that that obviously didn't happen in real
- 57:49life where he was like had this authentic, real breakdown on stage, which
- 57:53is what happened in the series. But and and there's obviously a lot that
- 57:59was it's true and wasn't true for whatever's sake, But I also wonder what
- 58:02was true and what wasn't and who this producer was that took advantage of him
- 58:07because he doesn't out him. He does, he says, do not he
- 58:13posted Goad posted to not go after don't be internet detectives on this producer because
- 58:19I guess everybody had kind of laser focused in on one person and in the
- 58:23last week, and that's when Richard Gad is like, please do not this
- 58:30you you're wrong, it's not that person, and stop trying to figure it
- 58:34out. It's not the point, like I'm not outing this person, and
- 58:38why not do you think? I mean, you know, well, I
- 58:43don't know. Maybe maybe he feels accountable. Who knows, like maybe there's
- 58:49just a lot of shame around it. Maybe he doesn't want to give this
- 58:52person any kind of platform. I don't know, who knows. I'm making
- 58:55that up. I am not right, Yeah, I mean obviously he's willing
- 58:59to go so far, but not that far with it. Yeah, yeah,
- 59:04because maybe the person could have it, who knows, but like maybe
- 59:07the person could have a case that they didn't see it that way or you
- 59:14know, and sue him and sue Netflix. Right, like the stalker is
- 59:16doing right, right, because the stalker says that she was misrepresented. Although
- 59:23every quote I've seen I've been like pretty on the money that seems accurate.
- 59:30Well, I mean the amount of like the forty thousand emails and you know,
- 59:36hundreds of text messages and voicemails and the amount is overwhelming in such a
- 59:43short amount of time. Yeah, and it really speaks to the mania and
- 59:47the manic you know, episode that she was having. And it's really really
- 59:52sad. And she does have this background, like is her background as well?
- 1:00:00We found out that she did go to law school. But was that
- 1:00:06true that she was arrested for stalking? Well, see, I looked online
- 1:00:14for her real name, like, because her real name's out there, it's
- 1:00:16something like I forget what it is, but you can find it pretty quickly.
- 1:00:20But they they I couldn't find anything, and it might just be buried
- 1:00:24in like the tenth page at Google because all this other stuff has come out
- 1:00:28now. But I don't know. I don't know if she I would assume
- 1:00:31that she's been arrested. I would assume that there was some truth to the
- 1:00:35police all knowing who she was, because, yeah, because that was one
- 1:00:40of the things that they did pay attention to. Yeah. And then I
- 1:00:45think when he went to the cops at first time, that they were gonna
- 1:00:49like that she had already come to them, and that it was they were
- 1:00:51going to be like when he went into the back for the first time,
- 1:00:54I thought for sure she was like the detective was going to be like,
- 1:01:00you're suspect in this attack on Martha whatever. And I thought she had already
- 1:01:07like jumped the gun so that he would look like the villain. And then
- 1:01:10it was cool to see like, Nope, it's it's real, like in
- 1:01:15terms of like, it's not going to be that weird twist where now he
- 1:01:19has to defend himself. Well, I thought, but that kind of did
- 1:01:22happen with her saying that he she recorded him, are you saying, well,
- 1:01:28later it did, I'm saying the first time he goes to the police.
- 1:01:31Oh and I see check in desk. Guy is like, oh shit,
- 1:01:36and he's like, follow me please, and I, oh, gotcha.
- 1:01:39Martha had created a norow. I didn't think that. I didn't think
- 1:01:44that, but I was surprised later on when he went there and she was
- 1:01:47starting to question him about how he's trying to set her up. Yeah,
- 1:01:52she was like, I record everything. I was like, I don't know
- 1:01:54about that, you know, but the scent from the iPhone thing got me.
- 1:01:59Every time that part I had to laugh and it was always a little
- 1:02:04different in the misspellings and yeah, oh my god, it's great. Yeah,
- 1:02:13hey, yeah, yeah, what a show you know. Yeah,
- 1:02:17I mean you watched it like all in one take. I watched it over
- 1:02:22a couple of days. It's intense either way, it really, really,
- 1:02:25really is. I wonder what's in his future because I found him to be
- 1:02:32an incredible actor. If nothing else, I could see him going straight to
- 1:02:37like not Game of Thrones, but any other you know, like the Dragons
- 1:02:44series. I can see him on so many things that I don't know.
- 1:02:49I could also see him not doing anything ever again, because that seems to
- 1:02:52be his gear too, Like he'll just do or he'll know, or he'll
- 1:02:57want a live performance. I think he went like live performance, but I
- 1:03:00think he wants success, success, success. I mean, that's the takeaway
- 1:03:06that I got from it, was that he was willing to do anything for
- 1:03:08but then then he had it, and then he sabotaged, like he ended
- 1:03:14it. Remember like when it hit for him in this series, like when
- 1:03:16the thing went viral and then all of a sudden he had everything he wanted,
- 1:03:22and then he just shut down and became a hermit again and just surrounded
- 1:03:24himself with all his demons. Like I feel like that he might just keep
- 1:03:30doing that pattern. Who knows. I think he'll always be a live performer
- 1:03:34in a really cool way. But I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:03:37Maybe he hits. Maybe he's one of those people that like hits his stride
- 1:03:40and then has to pull back. I don't know. Maybe I do think
- 1:03:45that he you know, it was very clear what his motives were, and
- 1:03:52I think that those dreams won't have gone away. I think that he's very
- 1:03:55happy that this is a huge success, and I think he's ready ready for
- 1:04:00the next step. Yeah, that's my saying it. I wonder if he
- 1:04:05really did go back to the producer's house that day. Though, you know,
- 1:04:10I wonder if that person, I'm sure he's running to that person again
- 1:04:17because it's it's not that big of a town and this the industry's pretty small
- 1:04:25there, so I would think that their paths have crossed. And I am
- 1:04:30sure that person denied any like real responsibility of course. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:39right, so just just disturbing. I loved the dad was awesome and the
- 1:04:45dad was amazing. Yeah, that was like one of my favorite parts of
- 1:04:50the whole series is that arc. That was a beautiful arc. I didn't
- 1:04:56expect that at all. It was really nice. Yeah. Yeah, Well,
- 1:05:00I wonder if there will be a baby reindeer too in the works or
- 1:05:03we'll see. I mean, I don't know. Maybe they get her on,
- 1:05:08can'try to tell her something. No, I think they should definitely leave
- 1:05:12her alone. And you know, I couldn't help but have a little empathy
- 1:05:15for her and the mental illness. I mean, it's it's really disturbing and
- 1:05:19it's really sad. Yeah, And I think to him, what's next for
- 1:05:26him too, Like he doesn't ever have to work again, Like I'm sure
- 1:05:30he made a shit ton of money on this and maybe he just would want
- 1:05:35to like do whatever he wants to do. It might not be a huge
- 1:05:40blockbuster Netflix thing, but like, good for him. He's been through enough.
- 1:05:45Like if he just wants to chill, that's fine too. He doesn't
- 1:05:46want to chill. He wants to rise his wave. I guarantee it.
- 1:05:51I'm not saying he's any less of an authentic person. I just think that
- 1:05:56he has a dream and it's going to happen like he wants to do.
- 1:06:00He wants to go as far as he can. I but I also think,
- 1:06:04like those sprits man, they love live performance, you know what I
- 1:06:10mean that that is a lot the stage. I could just see him being
- 1:06:16a stage performer for a really long time because I don't know if he can.
- 1:06:21I don't know. There was a lot of this performance that, like
- 1:06:24you said, was tapping into like a level of trauma that really also helped
- 1:06:30so I then maybe helped him heal. I don't know. We'll see what
- 1:06:35happens, all right. Well, guys, thanks for listening, and we're
- 1:06:42back tomorrow with Vander Pump Rules and like, is that show still on?
- 1:06:48Yes? It is, Thank you, Emily. Yeah, bye for now.
