- 1:18long story short, we fell in love with BTS separately,
- 1:21somehow or another Nez randomly message me, me and her knew each
- 1:25other from church. Long story we started quote talk
- 1:28about BTS and the net. This is like, do you watch
- 1:30kdramas? And I was like, yeah, I guess.
- 1:33And by the time my first kdramas, my whole love.
- 1:36I watch that. Don't remember it, but it's a
- 1:39running joke on our podcast, I don't remember.
- 1:43Um, but yeah. So me and her kind of bonded
- 1:45over our love for. Hey, traumas.
- 1:47And then a year later, we're like, oh, all of these kdramas,
- 1:51we listen to ATC, listen to a lot of different of the kdrama
- 1:56community. We were like, well, why don't we
- 1:58do a podcast? And me and as for a couple
- 2:01months, I kept saying that and nobody ever nobody, ever did
- 2:04anything we do, you're serious. Yeah.
- 2:08So almost you know, two years from that conversation where
- 2:12podcast left but yes, my first one was my whole of first kdrama
- 2:16don't remember it but will be re watching it but my Hollow love
- 2:19is good. That's a good really good gay
- 2:21job. That's what they tell me.
- 2:23I don't remember. Yeah, you think that she didn't
- 2:33watch the show at all like you would be untrue.
- 2:36No memory of it at all. I'm like, why don't you remember
- 2:39this person this scene? She's like, nope, I do not write
- 2:42election. Oh man, all right now as yes.
- 2:48Um, so my first kdrama was romance is a bonus book.
- 2:53That's the way I got introduced to eat junk sucks leaving a
- 2:55special place in my heart because of that show.
- 2:59Yeah, that's my first. Man, like I don't know.
- 3:01I was it was love at first sight with kdramas from that point.
- 3:04I was like, I love this, I'm never leaving.
- 3:06Like, I literally only want to watch kdramas.
- 3:08It was I just loved it so much. So yeah, that was my first one.
- 3:12Okay. Yeah.
- 3:13You jung-sook in that is very cute.
- 3:15It's a Noona romance. And yes, I'll tell you.
- 3:19There is a bit of a scathing review blog review from myself
- 3:22Yours, Truly, on the site because mostly because I have a
- 3:28background in publishing. And so all like the publishing
- 3:32stuff that happens in that Joe I'm like this is bullshit.
- 3:35Like I was like Miriam. It's like they're
- 3:39misrepresenting the industry like this is nonsense.
- 3:43So yeah, I'm sorry guys. It was that's what feels like a
- 3:47personal thing or just like it was like not accurate and I do
- 3:51it. Yeah, like I don't know.
- 3:52I was it wasn't it wasn't for me.
- 3:55But anyway, I'm gonna do a little bit.

- 4:46while you were sleeping. Yay.
- 4:49Okay. Then rocker timing finally.
- 4:51Finally. Okay.
- 4:53Yeah, no, because everyone's talked about this drama for to
- 4:56no end and I feel like I've been left Now yeah, saying how you
- 5:01watch this drama, so I'll sure why I didn't why I avoided it
- 5:04after like all the stuff I'm about to say.
- 5:06So I'll read the synopsis, get to the cast and all that and
- 5:10then we can share our thoughts on While You Were Sleeping.
- 5:13Okay? The my drama listen office
- 5:16reads, a young woman with a with bad.
- 5:18Premonition dreams meets two people who suddenly develop the
- 5:21same ability namjoo lives with her mother.
- 5:24A widow who runs a small restaurant jung-jae chime a
- 5:27rookie prosecutor and his Younger brother move in across
- 5:29the street. Since Hong, Joo was young.
- 5:31She has had the ability to see the good and bad events before
- 5:33they happen. However, she is unable to do
- 5:35anything about them. One day dish on has a strange
- 5:39premonition dream about an accident involving Hong Joo and
- 5:42bu bum, a ruthless attorney. Who used to be John's tutor did
- 5:46tend to science to interfere in the course of events and ends up
- 5:49saving the lives of Hangzhou. And Han will talk a young police
- 5:52officer when Jetton hanju and woo Tak, then start having
- 5:56dreams about one another. They realize that their Now,
- 5:58somehow, entwined, but can the three discovered the reason that
- 6:02they were brought together and can they prevent the people
- 6:04closest to them from getting hurt?
- 6:07I don't know. We'll find out.
- 6:09Okay, our medic reading about us.
- 6:11Yes, I love the dramatic. Do you, this was really long,
- 6:18I'm sorry. That was the episode 1.
- 6:21All right, so while you were sleeping, originally aired from
- 6:23September to November 2017. It's 16 episodes long as
- 6:27directed by. By Autumn wine and he's directed
- 6:30a bunch of stuff, including my love from the star dr.
- 6:34Hotel de luna startup and currently Big Mouth, starring
- 6:38Lee Jung Suk of course. So currently airing drama it is
- 6:42gu it's thundering outside. I hope you don't hear that
- 6:44anyway. Um, It Is co-directed by Park
- 6:47soojin and she's directed. Why her doctor romantic and they
- 6:51co-directed doctors together from 2016.
- 6:55While You Were Sleeping, it was written by pocket.
- 6:58Yeah. And she wrote startup, she wrote
- 7:00Pinocchio, she wrote, I can hear your voice from 2013 and she
- 7:05wrote Dream High from 2011. I've talked about dream, I like
- 7:09in almost every of these, it comes up a lot so much.
- 7:14Why? I don't know.
- 7:15Wow, I'm not going to Trend. Yes.
- 7:17So basically, this writer and these directors have worked
- 7:20together before startup, doctors and Dream.
- 7:24High of course, like a couple of Dramas already star.
- 7:28Bae Suzy and she stars as not hongju, she was in start-up, she
- 7:33was in a Dream High, Gu Family, Book, control of uncontrollably
- 7:36fond bag of on a bunch of stuff, we covered start up on season 2
- 7:41of the box. So if you want to scroll back in
- 7:43your podcast feed, you can hear our thoughts about that.
- 7:45I had Curtis from the infatuation podcast on for that
- 7:50one and he was a little bit contentious.
- 7:52So just beware that when he looks out that was a fun
- 7:56episode. You think the Devil's Advocate a
- 7:59lot and was like, you don't need to do this he's like I want to
- 8:05make it more interesting. I'm like why do you say that?
- 8:09Yeah. And then of course, when you
- 8:14while you were sleeping also Stars e jung-suk, we've
- 8:16mentioned him before he plays Drunk Kitchen, and he's been in.
- 8:21I can hear your voice from 2013, you just rented it out.
- 8:23One Doctor, Stranger Pinocchio, W which we cover on season one
- 8:27of the podcast. Last romance is a bonus book,
- 8:30your first kdrama and he's currently starring in Big Mouth.
- 8:35I'm not sure when that was gonna end but it's 2022 show.
- 8:38Yeah, we got some supporting characters, I'll run through
- 8:41really fast. We have junk Haines as Hannah
- 8:43attack. That's off a be loved him.
- 8:47Yeah, he's had a really good few years here, he's been in
- 8:51Snowdrop DP, one spring night. Something in the rain prison
- 8:54Playbook. I'll have you know that if you
- 8:56scroll back and your podcast feed you can hear Thoughts on
- 8:58Prison Playbook because we just covered that one.
- 9:01Also with Curtis also with Curtis from infatuation.
- 9:05We've also done something in the rain review.
- 9:08Yeah. Also one season two.
- 9:10That's one. That one's with Caitlin from no
- 9:13sleep for dramas and those have been really fun.
- 9:17Oh my God, we've also covered Snowdrop.
- 9:19That was the first episode of season 3 so don't forget.
- 9:22Anyway, in case you guys don't know, we're like a drunken
- 9:25podcast now. It literally did not intend to
- 9:30cover this much drug and dramas, but here we are.
- 9:34So yeah, he's amazing. So I not.
- 9:37Yes. So we also have Eastern Europe,
- 9:40as you bomb the attorney that we mentioned in the synopsis, we
- 9:44have chem 1A as investigator Choi and he's the nation's
- 9:50largest, she like he really is wonderful, man.
- 9:53I'd love to meet him someday. Yeah, I've been in everything so
- 9:57a few things I'll mention He wasn't start up as well so you
- 10:01can again. Something we've covered, he's
- 10:04been in strong girl doubling soon.
- 10:05We also covered that on the podcast, he's been in wat Ong,
- 10:08youth of May. He's been in Signal, which we
- 10:10covered as well in season one of the podcast.
- 10:13So we got it. We've also become a human, a
- 10:16podcast last person I'll say is call Sony plays protion Sheehan.
- 10:24Heymann is her full name in the drama and she's the star of my
- 10:28Hallo love. Hey Ari.
- 10:32I asked or y'all she remembered her.
- 10:34I was like, that's the main girl from my whole of, don't you
- 10:36remember? And she was like, you know, I
- 10:38don't remember sorry. Okay.
- 10:43So this was my whole love pour my little old.
- 10:46I feel so bad for her because it's a very good drama and she
- 10:50doesn't miss really not. Yeah.
- 10:53Okay. So all this being said, we've
- 10:56come to the end of our Cast and whoever's behind the lens.
- 11:02What did you guys think of while you were sleeping?
- 11:06Now, as you can see, we don't have to go all at once.
- 11:08It's okay, okay, I'll go first. Okay, yeah.
- 11:11So okay, so I thought the show was good.
- 11:15I thought the show was good. I would definitely recommend it
- 11:18to people. Okay, it has all the things that
- 11:20I like to see in a kdrama because it has it has comedy.
- 11:24As drama has like a Sprinkle of romance.
- 11:28I also loved like the I guess like the episodic nature of it,
- 11:32like every few episodes, your kind of exploring like a new
- 11:35situation and a new story. I really like it when dramas do
- 11:37that. And of course like I thought the
- 11:40cast was so good and on the cast had like really great chemistry
- 11:44with each other, but yeah, I thought was a really good show.
- 11:48I would definitely recommend it. It's just I felt like as the
- 11:51show's. Yeah.
- 11:53But as the show went on I think that things did start to waver a
- 11:57little bit. Like in the middle things kind
- 11:58of started to kind of come apart a little bit for me personally
- 12:03and I'll go into that like deeper later.
- 12:07But yeah, like, I'm really glad I watched it though because it
- 12:10was always on my list was like, you guys know was watching
- 12:13kdramas? Your list is ever growing.
- 12:15It's always growing. And it's like, you know, like
- 12:17when am I ever going to be able to get to these older shows?
- 12:20And there's newer shows current shows on watching and it's just
- 12:23like it's like a never-ending existential crisis situation
- 12:25like I'm never going to watch everything.
- 12:27I want to see you. So I'm really happy I watching.
- 12:29You asked us to come on and you know, review it.
- 12:32But yeah. I definitely have some thoughts
- 12:35like the intricacies of the Good.
- 12:37Yes, no. I have thoughts as well.
- 12:39We don't have thoughts Lori. What did you say?
- 12:46So I watch, I started watching this in May before you asked us
- 12:50and I was just, you know, in my freedom phase of kdrama.
- 12:52I don't know what that means, but I still really watching it.
- 12:56And I watched the first two episodes and as talk, she asked
- 12:58me, like, what do you think? I'm just like, it's okay.
- 13:00I'll get to it eventually. So, um, when just asked us to
- 13:04come on the podcast, I'm like, okay.
- 13:06Yeah. Yeah, I'll go back to watching
- 13:08it and now I see why I didn't like continue watching it.
- 13:11It's not my favorite drama y'all.
- 13:13I'm just going to say that right now and we'll get into why
- 13:17later. I did like seeing Han for 16
- 13:21plus h because I'm gonna come and I did like the mean romance,
- 13:27but I it was not an enjoyable watch for me and whenever we get
- 13:32to sold you bottle readings, Minds isn't hi.
- 13:36Okay, so I'll jump in here and give my general thoughts on the
- 13:41show. I thought this show was going to
- 13:44be amazing. Just baked yam the first episode
- 13:47because same, I want a new episode.
- 13:51Holy shit. This is amazing.
- 13:53Yeah, good, right. Yeah.
- 13:56It had so much, like, momentum and potential and I had the
- 13:58tension going throughout it and you can sense the Romantic, you
- 14:03know, couple like happening. And it just felt right like it
- 14:08hit all the right notes and beat in the first episode.
- 14:12Perfect. First episode, perfect villain,
- 14:15like whatever and then it kept going and I was like, hmm.
- 14:20I don't know about this show like, actually, I think that I
- 14:27wasn't bought into Susie, and jong-seok as a couple.
- 14:31Oh, my goodness, Jess. Thank you.
- 14:34Wait. I was so nervous and I love
- 14:37these ideas to talk about. Okay.
- 14:40Okay. I don't think it's a secret that
- 14:42Susie and jungkook's characters are supposed to be endgame, like
- 14:47they're supposed to be together. Oh, yeah, you're the romantic
- 14:50leads, right? So you kind of go into it.
- 14:52You can't sense that this is where the writers are, the
- 14:55writer wants to take it and then like a few episodes in.
- 14:59I'm like, why do they like each other?
- 15:02Right. You know, like I was like
- 15:04where's the basis of? Like they're like love like why
- 15:07does he actually a give her the time of day because she's just
- 15:11seems so not delusional, but delusional like she's making it
- 15:15seem like he's like after her and he's like doesn't want to
- 15:18yeah do with her. So it goes from that to like 0
- 15:21to 60 he like loves her. Yeah so it didn't seem
- 15:25believable to me and that's saying something when it's a
- 15:28fantasy show about like them having a premonition dream,
- 15:31Eames and clear. So right, I thought they had a
- 15:35really good villain and he kind of sold the last few episodes
- 15:39for me because lutely, he was like a recurring like villain in
- 15:43all of these episodic trials and cases that they're trying to
- 15:50solve together and then it's like, like, where's the through
- 15:53line? Like, how does this wrap up an
- 15:55end? Like how does he get his
- 15:56comeuppance and all that stuff? Like that comes into play final,
- 15:59few episodes. So so, for most of the show's,
- 16:03trying to recast Susie because I hated Susie in this role, oh, I
- 16:08was like, so, I just think late this row.
- 16:11Sing her Praises so hard in the startup episode.
- 16:15I was actually kind of impressive like with Susie in
- 16:17this episode is show then I get to the show.
- 16:20And I'm like, why is Susie can like, it's just Susie like all I
- 16:24could see was Susie and I couldn't see her character
- 16:28hyungju, and I feel like she was just overpowering, you know, her
- 16:33presence was just so overpowering in the show, her
- 16:36celebrity was Whirring and I wanted someone with less like
- 16:41baggage, you know, hmm. And like I just didn't like her
- 16:46delivery of certain things that just seem like she wasn't doing
- 16:48anything different and she has that like when she gets very
- 16:52excited or whatever she always has the same Cadence for her
- 16:55lunches. Oh yeah, look at that.
- 16:57Yeah, like it's always been that Cadence.
- 17:00Yeah, it's very excited. If she's upset or whatever and
- 17:05I'm like, oh, that's like such a Susie is Like I don't want that
- 17:08anymore, so I was very distraught by her and I recast
- 17:13it in my head to maybe Han Sol é, from my name, or
- 17:17nevertheless, like diarrhea dress because I wanted something
- 17:22a little harder for the character because she's seen so
- 17:26much, you know, right in her dreams and she has this guilt.
- 17:31Mm, she puts blame on herself and so I'm like, I want to see a
- 17:34little more of that tortured. Like Persona versus she's very
- 17:39like happy-go-lucky sometimes and like, yeah, thanks things
- 17:43lie. Very well and is very bubbly and
- 17:45like I kind of want a little bit of a darker, more personality,
- 17:49more Edge to her. Exactly.
- 17:50So I thought upon solely or confetti.
- 17:53Who does a really good job? Balancing both the light and
- 17:57dark aspects of this character, which I was like, I think we
- 18:01need someone with like that Vibe.
- 18:03You know, that was my recasting that I For Susie.
- 18:08Yeah, that I have a question. So you guys so comparing Susie's
- 18:15character and start up to while you're sleeping.
- 18:18What did you guys think? Because for me, they seem like
- 18:21the same person exactly. Then I think that's what was
- 18:23like throwing me off. Like yes, I forgot her name
- 18:26wasn't startup but oh, it's okay, whatever, excuse me and
- 18:29Steph. Yes, and Susan startup and
- 18:31Susie. While you were sleeping.
- 18:32I was a psych. There's I feel like there's the
- 18:34same character. Yeah.
- 18:36And that. Throwing me off as well, and I'm
- 18:38like, but I felt differently if I had like some time, like a
- 18:40little bit more time between when I saw start up and I saw
- 18:42this or if I never saw startup. So I was thinking about that
- 18:47too. When you guys, you guys see any
- 18:49similarities? Can you say the same thing about
- 18:52jong-suk though? Because I was telling you, how
- 18:54his romance and it's a bonus book.
- 18:56Condo was the same character to me, like the jokey and then like
- 19:01really serious. But I don't know if that's just
- 19:03how he the characters already. I'll save it.
- 19:07Yeah. So I'll say this that I think
- 19:09that he is doing much the same as some of his other characters
- 19:14that he starred in and I'll say this that it's they're not
- 19:20demanding much of these two actors, right?
- 19:23I'm sure like there's nuances to every character and this plot
- 19:26like goes gets very thin and then gets very thick at times
- 19:29and it's right. No, a revolving door of
- 19:32characters and scenarios that they have to overcome.
- 19:34But on the whole, they're not flexing anything that we haven't
- 19:40seen before, you know, right? The same sort of like a script
- 19:46for a fantasy Romance. Take a drama like if feels like
- 19:50beefer be a little bit like w. It feels a little bit like you
- 19:55know, Susie stuff as well like startup.
- 19:59Yeah. And I don't think it's a
- 20:01coincidence because we're good we got the same writer from
- 20:04startup we have yeah Dame one of the same directors from startup
- 20:09as well, right? So like they're playing to
- 20:11Susie's strains but at the same time we've seen this strength
- 20:13already, right? Right.
- 20:16Yeah. So I feel bad.
- 20:18And again, like he you don't look as currently starring in
- 20:21Big Mouth. Which again one of the directors
- 20:23is on Big Mouth. True.
- 20:26So yeah, there it's like too much like intertwining that it
- 20:31doesn't feel they collaborate a lot.
- 20:33Yeah. Yeah.
- 20:34They've collaborated with these people many times before so and
- 20:37I will say that, I feel bad that we saw start up first because
- 20:39this came before start of this can be very wary for start-up,
- 20:43right? So if we had seen it in order, I
- 20:45kind of still feel Like we'd probably say the same thing that
- 20:50we'd be like I'm not really sure like why she's playing the same
- 20:55character feels like the same thing and yeah I think it's done
- 20:59on purpose. Like they want this Vibe
- 21:02playing. Yeah.
- 21:02Playing to the strength. Yeah, yeah.
- 21:04That's a good point. That's a good point though.
- 21:08It was only. I've only seen romances one
- 21:09spoke, of course. But I felt like this role.
- 21:12I saw more sides to him. Like I saw likes it like, you
- 21:16know, like especially like the Comedic side of him because I
- 21:19didn't see like I'm a lot of that bonus book.
- 21:21Something. Oh, I didn't know they could be
- 21:23so loose and silly. Yeah, he's a little, you know?
- 21:25Yeah, yeah. So I was just like, oh, that's
- 21:27new. So, okay, but it is like there
- 21:30are elements of like, you know, his character here that are
- 21:32similar to most visible in this book, but I guess that's why
- 21:34those directors really like them because it seems like they've
- 21:36done a lot of like projects with those two actors and what they
- 21:39really like Susie and you don't suck a lot big mouth.
- 21:43I haven't seen any of the episodes but in the promos and
- 21:45some of the clips that I've seen he is Seen that like really
- 21:49harsh dark, you know, vengeful kind of character with the more
- 21:54goofy light side of a character. So right, he's doing again, like
- 21:59the same thing that he's doing in this show.
- 22:02I'm big mouth came out. Oh my God, I can't do math,
- 22:05three, four, five, five years. It's coming off five years after
- 22:08right, while you were sleeping, right?
- 22:11Yeah. This is a conversation to have
- 22:13because I feel like people if they like startup or if they
- 22:16like one of these other dramas you can come to this drama and
- 22:19get more of the same. Yes.
- 22:21Right. But if you're like us or
- 22:24probably wanting something a little different, and I think
- 22:26that's what we're getting at here.
- 22:28Is that we weren't thrilled? We weren't surprised.
- 22:31We weren't, you know, given a New Journey, right?
- 22:36It's just act leap. Actually, it's a repast exactly
- 22:39I think that's that's where like the I guess on the
- 22:41discontentment is it's just kind of like, all right.
- 22:44It's kind of more of the same type of thing.
- 22:46Yeah, I'm sure. Okay, question that has nothing
- 22:50to do with the plot. Well, so kind of to do with the
- 22:52plot. Did you have you guys ever had a
- 22:54vivid dream and what was it? Oh, and or to, you know,
- 23:02piggyback off that question. Have you ever had a dream that
- 23:04actually came true? Oh, oh, a really good question.
- 23:11I'll go first because I, you know, I have a question in the
- 23:13back of my head hurt. Ya.
- 23:15So I had a friend. This hadn't happened to me, but
- 23:17a friend of mine. Was like good friends with
- 23:19another with another girl and she dreamt that the girl with
- 23:23was pregnant and she liked hanging out hung out with her.
- 23:26Not too long. After the dream was like man I
- 23:27had this really Vivid dream that you told me that you were
- 23:29pregnant and the friend was like oh and she was pregnant.
- 23:35Wow! Amazing!
- 23:37I mean, I don't know what she likes sniffed at how she sniffed
- 23:39it out, how it happened. But like it cause it was true.
- 23:43I have never had a dream come true on me.
- 23:46I would freak out if I ever did, but I tend to have very vivid
- 23:51dreams and, and when I have them, I just like, blurt them
- 23:55out, like, whatever it was, and then I completely forget about
- 23:57the dreams. So I went to my sister, I was
- 23:59like, I have told you every single crazy dream that I've
- 24:01had, like, what were your favorites and she listed two of
- 24:04them. So one is very quick.
- 24:07I don't know why we were sleeping in the same bed that
- 24:09night but I was, she was like, I woke, we woke up.
- 24:12But, you know, in the morning. Like, man, I had this crazy
- 24:14dream and she was like, what was it?
- 24:16And I was like, I lost my retainers, she does work.
- 24:19Where did you lose them? She does.
- 24:22And I go on the Titanic. My Vivid dream was that, I lost
- 24:30my retainers on the Titanic Titanic.
- 24:34They're sitting at the bottom of it like of the Atlantic.
- 24:38And then the other dream that I really like, and she reminded me
- 24:42of was, I told her this whole freaking dream that I had.
- 24:46I watched this Steve Aoki documentary, you know the hmm.
- 24:50Oh yeah. Yeah, whatever.
- 24:51Hmm producer. So Steve Aoki documentary it was
- 24:54very interesting and then I went to sleep that night.
- 24:57I dreamt this really really intense Vivid dream where Steve
- 25:00Aoki was my cousin and we went to his house.
- 25:03It was me and my sister we went to his house to like hang out in
- 25:07space. And all of a sudden he was
- 25:08having this big party and they were like buses out front like,
- 25:11bringing people in and taking people away.
- 25:13And I was like, I don't think we should stay here.
- 25:14Like it's to like, essentially we were leaving because it was
- 25:17like too much going on. And he and Steve Aoki was
- 25:20literally about was like, where you guys going?
- 25:22Like, whatever? And I woke up and the feeling
- 25:25was still within me. Like, deep-set.
- 25:27I was like, 60, I woke up and I thought Steve Aoki is my cousin,
- 25:31like, literally, I was like Steve Aoki like Evernote.
- 25:37To my mind. So so this data do I need to
- 25:42call in some Street? Like could this actually be
- 25:45okay? There's like zero chance.
- 25:49It's okay based on this stupid dream I had
- 26:05and I recall it like even now Like, I have this deep feeling
- 26:10that I have, but I'm cousins with teriyaki.
- 26:15I do not like I'm actually crying.
- 26:20Oh my God. Okay Ari while NASA finishes
- 26:23great for covering. Yeah you have a dream.
- 26:26If y'all, I mean I feel like you guys probably already knows
- 26:29about me from listening to the podcast.
- 26:30I don't have really good memory, but I feel like, I'm like the
- 26:35same. Like, you just like if I listen
- 26:37to something before I go to sleep, I don't like dream about
- 26:39it. So I think me and as our own
- 26:42like a 17 K-pop Those spills I would have, I would listen to
- 26:47their music and then like, just something random with them like
- 26:50eat it. Nothing involving each any
- 26:52members, but it will be like, I'm listening to their song in
- 26:54my dream and then, I'll wake up something really weird.
- 26:57But I haven't, I don't think I've had anything come true or
- 27:00like anything that I really vividly.
- 27:02Remember though, ding. Yeah.
- 27:05All right, Nancy. Do you have a meat for me?
- 27:10Honestly, my dreams like I can't really point to one dream
- 27:14because I just my dreams are so random and they just don't
- 27:17really make any sense. It's like a lot of scene changes
- 27:20and just like flying and like honestly, like just weird stuff
- 27:27that I don't know where it comes from the morning.
- 27:29I'm like, what was that? Like, I honestly my just have
- 27:33weird random dreams like, and I, I can't point to one in
- 27:36particular that I'm like, hmm, um, I'm trying to think of what
- 27:40I dreamt about last week. I'll say one last week, but no,
- 27:45yeah, yeah, go for it. Okay, this is another stupid
- 27:48dream. So this was when I was like a
- 27:50teenager, I think, and I was playing guitar at the time and I
- 27:55in my dream, I was trying to get my guitar case with my guitar,
- 27:57in it, into the trunk of my car, and I had a Mazda 3 at the time.
- 28:00So it was like kind of a little bit, had to shimmy it in because
- 28:03we yeah, bigoted are in the smoker anyway and someone came
- 28:08to help me and it was Bill Murray, Bill Murray came out of
- 28:11nowhere and was Like I let me help you put your guitar in
- 28:15your, in your car house. And in my dream, I was like, oh
- 28:17my God, you're bilberry. And I was so excited and I took
- 28:21a selfie with Bill Murray in my dream and when I woke up, I was
- 28:25like, oh shit. I gotta send that selfie to,
- 28:28like all my friends and family that I met Bill Murray because
- 28:31it was so deep like the incestuous, so deep that I was
- 28:34like item. I met Bill Murray and I took a
- 28:38selfie with him. So I went a literally went in my
- 28:41phone. I was like looking for the
- 28:42selfie. And I was like, oh no!
- 28:44Oh my God! It was a dream.
- 28:46Like I literally get the calm down was so harsh because I
- 28:50thought I had met Bill Murray and so this day like I think
- 28:54that dream was to real. Like it was too Vivid because
- 28:56you know how Bill Murray like is like effervescent and like goes
- 28:58wherever he wants it shows up, I hate weddings and stuff like
- 29:01randomly so it was it's like within reason that like Bill
- 29:05Murray would have been like in his parking lot that I was
- 29:07trying to get my guitar in the car and I was sweet.
- 29:10But did you were you watching something with him in it?
- 29:13No Bill Murray up here. A drink.
- 29:16There was no provocation just I was here.
- 29:21I teach my beard anyway we've gone on a little bit of a danger
- 29:24but that's okay. I initiated it.
- 29:27Do you guys I felt like this show reminded me of like other
- 29:31TV shows and movies that had like a similar plot line.
- 29:34Do you, I was trying to like figure it out.
- 29:36So here's what I came up with. Okay, okay.
- 29:40Okay. These are cells.
- 29:46Okay, other TV or TV shows and movies about premonition /
- 29:52dreams. So, we have, yeah, the movie
- 29:54Premonition with Sandy right in Tripoli, right?
- 29:57I was thinking about that. Yeah, she's yeah, we have
- 29:59butterfly effect with Ashton Kutcher and give me Smee that
- 30:04movie, scary them, that movie F me up.
- 30:07Okay? Okay, I can't see we have That's
- 30:12So Raven. Just teach me.
- 30:15Oh my gosh. Classic.
- 30:20We have the character Alice Cullen from Twilight who can see
- 30:24into the future. Oh yes.
- 30:27That's that's his favorite movie.
- 30:28Yeah. Favor we had our he's okay.
- 30:34She hates it. Just wasn't like it was like oh
- 30:40shit. We'll leave that at the.
- 30:46Abel. So yay.
- 30:47We have also Minority Report which is like a dystopian future
- 30:53with Tom Cruise where he's like, yeah.
- 30:56Arresting people. Based on crimes, they haven't
- 30:58committed yet because the precogs and all that crap, like
- 31:01it's like really interesting but already were then the last two I
- 31:06like, couldn't stop laughing as I wrote them down.
- 31:08So I'm going to try and get through this without laughing we
- 31:11have next with Nicolas Cage. And Jessica Biel Okay, ever seen
- 31:18that movie. Good, don't watch it, don't
- 31:19watch it. It's okay.
- 31:21So he can see a few minutes into the future, but he's a magician
- 31:26in Las Vegas. Like that's how he uses his
- 31:28skill. But with Jessica Biel's
- 31:31character, the, you know, female leader, whatever, he can see
- 31:34farther into the future. And like all of this stuff
- 31:38happens where he's trying to like stop an apocalypse.
- 31:41Oh gosh, I have feelings about Nicolas Cage, movies, Literally
- 31:48the worst movie but I remember because it was so stupid, right?
- 31:53It was so like dumb. And then I, lastly, I have Déjà
- 31:58Vu with Denzel Washington. Oh yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 32:04We're he like just I have wacky time.
- 32:06Oh yes, for sure. What do you have Final
- 32:09Destination? Because that movie and all of
- 32:12them. Oh my God.
- 32:13Right? Yeah.
- 32:14Right. I cannot go past the truck on
- 32:16the highway. Because of that movie.
- 32:18Yeah, I think much like a one and a half of the because it's
- 32:21like they have like multiple movies in that franchise like
- 32:24the Final Destination franchise and they're all like really
- 32:28gruesome crazy ass. Yeah.
- 32:31That they have a good one Oriel. That's good.
- 32:34It traumatized. Okay.
- 32:36Perfect. Okay, is there anything else
- 32:39that you want to add before I talk about the osce and then we
- 32:41can give our scores. No, thanks.
- 32:44Oh ok. Ok.
- 32:46So I love this osc. I don't know how you guys feel
- 32:48about the and see what. I love it.
- 32:50It has actually two songs from Susie and two songs from each
- 32:53jung-sook on the OST. Oh I don't know that he's saying
- 32:58to me. Yeah.
- 33:00And then my favorite song is the one from Henry which is all in
- 33:03English. Oh Henry.
- 33:06That was your the right time at the right time.
- 33:11Okay. Okay, okay.
- 33:11I like that one. So yeah, I love it.
- 33:18And I will like, actually say that when the song came on.
- 33:21The first time I was like, God, this sounds like Henry and then
- 33:25I go look in the OSU on Spotify and I was like, yes it's
- 33:28actually Henry. Like damn, I'm so good.
- 33:36The city was built that boys. All right.
- 33:42What did you guys give this show out of five Soju bottles.
- 33:48Um, okay, so I did 3.5 out of 5 Soju bottles.
- 33:53Okay, okay. Um, yeah, so I thought it was a
- 33:57good show, I just didn't think it was a great show and like you
- 34:00said, Jess, the first two episodes for me, I was like,
- 34:04wow. Like this is I don't remember
- 34:06what episode of our podcast were.
- 34:08I'm talking about, it were real but like we're talking about how
- 34:10we like just started the show and I'm just like, wow.
- 34:12Like this is the best show ever. Like the first two episodes I
- 34:15was like, this is amazing. Like this is going to be one of
- 34:17my favorite shows. I No it and then like as things
- 34:20went on, I was like huh? Okay.
- 34:24And I was kind of bummed because I was expecting just of
- 34:26expecting more. I was going to war but the
- 34:29things they did well they did really well.
- 34:33Yeah but yeah. Like I definitely have some
- 34:36qualms but like I like I thought it was like a good child think.
- 34:40It's a great show. It's not like I want to call it
- 34:41like a favorite of mine so that's why I gave it like a 3.5.
- 34:44I kind of like put it kind of like in the middle of the road
- 34:47and like if I had to rank all The dramas that I've ever seen
- 34:49like a kind of be land somewhere towards the middle because like
- 34:52it was good. I'm glad I don't regret watching
- 34:54it. I have no regrets because it was
- 34:55on my list and I think it's kind of like one of those shows that
- 34:57like you probably should watch but it wasn't a favorite.
- 35:01So yeah, so 3.5, okay, I kind of broke the rules with Minds just
- 35:07you may say, I don't know, I gave it to .89 Soju bottles.
- 35:11How many as eight nine? I don't know.
- 35:18Three. So I was just like, 89 sounds
- 35:20great. Okay, that's all I got, that's
- 35:23good. I'm gonna go with 30 give it
- 35:28three and a half stars as well as because it had here's the
- 35:34thing. My sister asked me today because
- 35:36you watch the last two episodes with me and she was like do you
- 35:38like the show? And I was like I do and I don't
- 35:41Ryan I told her if I had watched this a few years ago, I would
- 35:45have loved this. Like I would have been right up
- 35:49my alley. Yeah, I'm watching it now like
- 35:52after a few more seasons of having watch kdramas and having
- 35:55watched these actors and other things and I'm just like this is
- 35:58not like doing it for me, right? So I feel bad because I know for
- 36:03a fact that I would have eaten the shit up like in 20 years
- 36:09now. I'm like no.
- 36:11Like this is not a yeah. Yeah.
- 36:13Think we're jumping is always standard right dog and he's the
- 36:17highlight of the whole Tire experience taught to you.
- 36:19Talk about me, what's up? Yeah, but yeah, no, I agree
- 36:25because I was thinking like, I feel like if I watched this like
- 36:27early on in my journey, I probably would have been like
- 36:29this is the best show ever. But I think, because I've seen
- 36:32so many and I know like what these actors can do.
- 36:35And I've seen, like, similar plots, like, done, done better.
- 36:39I'm like, I know that something like, this could be done better.
- 36:42I know. There could be like a tighter
- 36:43story, so that's why I was like yeah, it's 3.5 so, yeah.
- 36:47Okay. Can I make a request?
- 36:48Best for you golf. I think that's very sad.
- 36:51She may watch this eventually, but just based off your comments
- 36:54for Susie, can both y'all watch uncontrollably van because I
- 36:57love grunting them. That I've seen uncontrollably
- 37:01fun. Did you like it?
- 37:02Did you like it? Uncontrollable melodrama.
- 37:06Oh, okay. So let's talk real fast about
- 37:10the show before we get into spoilers for a while you were
- 37:13sleeping. So, yes, uncontrollably funds is
- 37:16very, very sad. Okay.
- 37:18Does not have a happy ending for people who are like wandering or
- 37:21should I watch this if you don't like happy, if you need the
- 37:24happy ending, do not watch and uncontrollably fun.
- 37:27Um, I felt that it was okay, right?
- 37:31Because it's also her being like a journalist Like she was in my
- 37:37room sleeping. Yeah, but it's just so much
- 37:42emotions. Like running through the show.
- 37:46I don't know if I would like necessarily recommend it to
- 37:49somebody who's like, just in it for like the rom-com stuff.
- 37:53Like, it's not a wrong. Yeah, I would love to re-watch
- 37:58uncontrollably van to see how it holds up and how I feel about it
- 38:01now. But I think at the time that I
- 38:03was watching it, I was just like very calm Confuses the wrong
- 38:07word but I was just like dumbfounded.
- 38:08I was like, is this really happening?
- 38:11You know, I was like what is going on?
- 38:15This is getting way out of hand and then you just you're just
- 38:20like okay I guess. Like that's that was the show.
- 38:23It was just Like everything all at once.
- 38:28Yes that is just that's like my top.
- 38:32I think it's my top two it's what I love that drama.
- 38:37Like it was number one for a minute.
- 38:39Yeah I love that drama so much. I love like soaking and emotion
- 38:44but then I need something happy after by Life beer emotion.
- 38:47Like the same thing with not rain or shine just between
- 38:50lovers. That's really like a lot too but
- 38:54I don't know. I just I liked it and then the
- 38:56ending I was just crying and I was like, oh good.
- 39:05There's some crying B in While You Were Sleeping as well, but
- 39:08we're just gonna get, we're going to turn ourselves
- 39:11completely loose on the spoiler side so you do it.
- 39:14You, if you're ready, let's do it.
- 39:16We're going to head into spoilers right after this.
- 39:26You want to come in? All right, we're on the other
- 39:27side of spoilers, guys. So anything goes.
- 39:29If you don't care to be spoiled on while, Sleeping then keep
- 39:33listening. We're going to go all-in.
- 39:35So ladies where would you like to start on this show?
- 39:38I actually, for early on I was like this is kind of heavy on
- 39:44the law stuff on the yes. You'd roll aspect of Law and Law
- 39:50and Order or whatever. And yeah those are not my
- 39:53favorite dramas. So anytime like that happens.
- 39:57I'm like immediately kind of taken out of the drama a little
- 40:00bit because I was hoping for a little more.
- 40:02More fantasy side. And certainly there was like, a
- 40:05lot of fantasy because of the dreams, the shared dreams.
- 40:09But right, I'm not sure if I was necessarily too invested in the
- 40:15whole paperwork there. He's a prosecutor side, right?
- 40:20If you feel me, however, we did see some startup.
- 40:26Actors in this show and of course, like startup came later.
- 40:31So the domestic abuser husband from like early on he was in
- 40:38Yeah, he was in start-up he was like the stepdad who was like
- 40:42rich and stuff. Oh my God, I knew he looked
- 40:45familiar but I don't do you to break like it.
- 40:48He breaks his name plate. Like, on his desk.
- 40:51Most, I've gotta remember. Yes, I was like, oh my God.
- 40:56And then obviously Kim sohyun from love.
- 41:00Alarm is armed. Sucks.
- 41:08Don't watch Love alarm people terrible.
- 41:12I have walked away I know run run don't walk away from level
- 41:16or okay she is so I think that the bus explosion sequence.
- 41:22Do you think that it's some other like kid and it's not it's
- 41:26her. Yeah wild.
- 41:28Yeah. It's like an extended flashback
- 41:30for her kid and you think it's a like a little boy but it's not
- 41:33it's her. That's a part of big reason why
- 41:36I didn't like Susie and this role because Ken I imagine Susie
- 41:39getting like a pixie cut and wanting to be a baseball player
- 41:42in passing off as a boy and stuff.
- 41:44Like no, again, no really dive into that really?
- 41:49It was just kind of like, so, did you take have like a tomboy
- 41:51face? Exactly.
- 41:52She had like a tomboy phase and it never came back around to,
- 41:56like, right stylus on this idea that like Susie was a tomboy.
- 42:00And what like, she doesn't really follow baseball anymore.
- 42:03Like, what's the deal? Like, how did she go from like
- 42:06gun who I want to be a baseball player.
- 42:08You now she's like a very voracious journalist, right?
- 42:13Right. So I would have, we agree,
- 42:15there's like no connection to them.
- 42:17I guess, because of the trauma of her daughter at her dad
- 42:19dying, and like the bus explosion and the dreams and
- 42:23stuff. Like, but again, like, it
- 42:24doesn't, like, why was it so extreme?
- 42:27Like, she cut her hair, she was like dressing, like a boy, and
- 42:30she was a correcting people when they were like, oh, that little
- 42:32boy over there. Like she didn't write that.
- 42:34She was like, whatever. Right.
- 42:36So I thought that was a big hiccup for me.
- 42:38Me. You got jhn, like punch her in
- 42:42the face and I was okay as well. Yeah, right.
- 42:45Right. As well as her as a child.
- 42:53And she just said she was like, yeah, I needed that.
- 42:56Like, what? Right?
- 42:58This is like ha. Like oh man.
- 43:04So I think that I don't like how they started having dreams about
- 43:10each other and then it seems like this supernatural.
- 43:14Phenomena was like contagious. Yes, yeah, so because she had
- 43:20never saved anybody up. Until that point with using her
- 43:24dreams that nobody else had started dreaming about her
- 43:28because they didn't know that they weren't saved by Susie's
- 43:32character whatever. Yeah right but it was not until
- 43:37You know, John sucks, character saves John Haynes character,
- 43:41that junk hands, like it feels so much gratitude towards him
- 43:45that he starts dreaming about him, right?
- 43:48And then, at the end, everybody has dreams.
- 43:51It's like, you get a dream and you get a dream, you can write,
- 43:55right? I thought that there was no,
- 43:58like luck. Sure.
- 43:59There was logic, but it was not very sad and logic to me.
- 44:04Hmm. Because everybody started
- 44:06dreaming about each. Other.
- 44:08And there was like no surprises, like the stakes didn't seen that
- 44:10high at one point because everyone was like, having
- 44:14alternate versions of the same scenario.
- 44:16So, it was like, okay, right. You have one scenario, I have
- 44:18the other half and like, let's put it together and like, solve
- 44:20this thing. So, yeah, it just felt very easy
- 44:24and convenient writing wise to have everyone to start dreaming
- 44:29about each other because they've just felt so thankful to the
- 44:31other person who saved them. Like what and then why did
- 44:34jungkook's are having dreams so much later in life.
- 44:38Like she's by that logic. You should have started having
- 44:40dreams immediately after Jesus. He will linger.
- 44:43Yes. And Sage saved each other in the
- 44:45flashback when they were younger.
- 44:46Yeah. Yeah.
- 44:48But just so much, like why? Like, it doesn't hmmm.
- 44:52I also wish, they'd, like explained why Hong Joo was
- 44:56having dreams. Like, they never explained,
- 44:58like, why she has premonition exactly.
- 45:01It was just like what she just born that way.
- 45:03Like, and didn't seem like her mom ever had them.
- 45:06So it was like, Either right? So just like, well, what
- 45:11happened? Yeah.
- 45:12So I wish they explored that a little bit more 2mn.
- 45:15Director Choi, was he having dreams?
- 45:17And he just wasn't interfering until later and he said yes.
- 45:21That's exactly. Yeah, exactly.
- 45:23Exactly. Because as we need, like 20
- 45:25years, he had and his first like dream or whatever was about his
- 45:29own demise. Hmm, which is like, how do you
- 45:33deal with? He seemed very calm.
- 45:34Yeah, as well. Like he was like Like the friend
- 45:38is saying something like his partner, whatever is in the room
- 45:41and he's like you're not thinking of like committing
- 45:42suicide again or in his words he was like you're not thinking
- 45:45weird thoughts. Again, you and he's like no no
- 45:48no I'm not thinking that my end is much later.
- 45:50So he knew that what he had seen was a premonition and was like
- 45:54totally fine but he had seen his own death and a dream.
- 45:57Yeah. Yep.
- 45:59We're not going to talk about that.
- 46:00Like there's nothing. I'm back here.
- 46:02Like well, yeah, just like yeah, I knew this was going to happen
- 46:07and this is The choice I made and it's like okay, like you her
- 46:11having dreams to like it was just it was so much.
- 46:14Yeah. It felt like they were just, you
- 46:17know, they were trying to write themselves out of like loopholes
- 46:20and like okay well they just had a dream about how they're going
- 46:23to die in a burning Fire Inferno.
- 46:26So how do we get them out of that?
- 46:27Oh, so and sprays dreams, right, dumb it was dumb.
- 46:33I don't really understand that cuz he can have dreams about
- 46:36himself and Other people. I mean I guess I don't know how
- 46:40his work because all of their other three like there's one in
- 46:43the circle kind of they had dreams about one person to save
- 46:46them. He can't have drinks while
- 46:47himself and the rest of them. I'm confused on that but maybe
- 46:50I'm confused about how Hong Joo also piggy.
- 46:52Backing up what you're saying. Won't you was having dreams
- 46:54about randos people like her? Yeah her power was I'm calling
- 47:00it a power but hers was different than everybody else is
- 47:03because hers was like I'm just having premonitions about
- 47:05everyone everybody and then you know Right.
- 47:09Right. And then datong has dreams only
- 47:11on her and seems we'll talk dreams about j.chan and then
- 47:14prosecutor under. Sorry investigator, Lee
- 47:19director, Troy Troy Troy, oh my gosh.
- 47:23But yeah, then he has dreams about J-Town, I guess because he
- 47:25was the one that saved him. So just kind of like, so all
- 47:28these other people, our only link to the people that saved
- 47:30them but her, it's just like everybody and they never
- 47:33explained why, but they never explain why.
- 47:35And also halfway through the show she stopped having dreams
- 47:37about Other people, she was like, Ryan, I'm having dreams
- 47:40about you going to work early. Like I know we're driving like,
- 47:43right, right when before she was just doing about old random man
- 47:48with a cigarette, he's gonna blow up or like, you know, her
- 47:51dad or whoever and she's like, so she's her mom.
- 47:54Like yeah, I don't know. I wish I'd got more explanation.
- 47:58You just seemed a little bit annoying to me that she never
- 48:02tried to, like, I'm sure you tried, but there was didn't seem
- 48:05like a true effort on her part. To change these people's fate,
- 48:11until all of these guys start, like, circling around her.
- 48:15And I'm like, okay, that takes away.
- 48:16A lot of, like, her agency as a person, as a female character
- 48:20who, like, started this whole thing, like, she doesn't seem to
- 48:24want to do anything that she can, she's like a damsel in
- 48:26distress like the whole time even though she has the greatest
- 48:29power, right? I don't like that.
- 48:33We agree. Yeah.
- 48:35You speaking of the plot hole like what is this?
- 48:37Asshole. They fill it with more dreams
- 48:40are just like, yeah, becoming drinks.
- 48:42You got a dream, you gotta dream a dream over me.
- 48:48So jeonghan, let's talk about this guy, amazing s.
- 48:53Oh, my goodness. So precious, he has a freaking
- 48:57Corgi. This is the first time I've ever
- 48:59seen a corgi in kdrama. The me too.
- 49:03At first, I was eatin corrugator.
- 49:04Oh, why is it so cute? And he has like a lot.
- 49:07Like superhero and like Batman paraphernalia, like he's always
- 49:10like bring a Batman cap or a Batman shirt.
- 49:12Not always but, you know, towards the beginning of the
- 49:15show, in the end of the show, they have him like wearing like
- 49:17the superhero stuff, right? Yeah.
- 49:20And I found that so endearing and cute and he's genuinely just
- 49:26wants them to be okay and there's no effort on his part to
- 49:30try and woo her or try and cost issues in their relationship.
- 49:34He was just like silently, loving her and there was
- 49:37something so So genuine about that, because a lot of the times
- 49:41you have a second lead who at some point turns like slightly
- 49:45like villainous or tries to call.
- 49:46Yeah, main couple. That's always, yeah.
- 49:49Becomes obsessive stalker, whatever.
- 49:50And he wasn't like that at all, he was actually very chill and I
- 49:54feel like in real life. If someone has a crush on
- 49:57somebody else and they see no Avenue for like pursue or
- 50:03whatever, and they're feeling like their feelings are on
- 50:07what's the word? Not reciprocate, but it yeah,
- 50:10unrequited. That's it.
- 50:11Yeah, you're not going to go crazy and start chasing after
- 50:15them and like trying to break up this couple especially when you
- 50:19have this shared experience of the dreams together.
- 50:21So like right now I feel like it was very believable for him to
- 50:24just be like you know whatever like never confesses to her or
- 50:29nothing, you know. Right.
- 50:31She was oblivious it's just makes him a better second male
- 50:33little get makes him the better man, you know.
- 50:36Yeah, absolutely. I do you have to talk about
- 50:41since we're on, we'll talk. Can we talk about episode 8?
- 50:43I don't know if you have specific notes for this.
- 50:45Just okay, episode 8? Yes so yeah.
- 50:50No, yeah. All right.
- 50:53I was trying to build up looking but Dad for her so many times so
- 50:59many times injured for her. Yeah I was traumatized it was
- 51:06too much but yeah, he went Die for her.
- 51:09He would die for it literally would divert he is.
- 51:13So here's the thing, he got the date and time for from what's
- 51:18his face is dream. What's his name?
- 51:20Oh my God, let me get his name jhv turn.
- 51:22Yeah he gets all this info from date on the stream and then
- 51:26deliberately walked in first and tries to stop the bad guy and he
- 51:31like holds on to his legs and like tells you to run and all
- 51:35this stuff like he's buying her time and like he did Is on on
- 51:39purpose. Like, he knew like everything
- 51:41was gonna happen. Yeah.
- 51:43Oh my gosh, he's yeah, we got a real Lifeline out of this
- 51:48because they do also them feel really guilty like, J tan and
- 51:51Hong Joo. Yeah, who's extremely guilty
- 51:53about what happened and we have this line that says, like, only
- 51:56cry for a little while. Only blame yourself a little
- 51:59while in return, don't forget it for a long time.
- 52:05Yeah. He he like, of all this.
- 52:08Second male leads. He's definitely on my list of
- 52:10favorites. He was such a precious little
- 52:14sheol and it's funny because like in a lot of like a drama
- 52:19like lists and compilation videos like that they always
- 52:21talk about like oh like the shows they gave us like the
- 52:23worst second lead syndrome and they always mentioned this show
- 52:27and after finishing the show, I was just like I understand why I
- 52:29like people love him like second male lead but I didn't
- 52:33necessarily, I don't know. Like I I thought we were going
- 52:37to get like a lot more of Because I was like, the way that
- 52:39people talked about the second second lead syndrome.
- 52:41I thought that he was like, coming on strong.
- 52:43Like, yeah, love. Like I thought it was gonna be,
- 52:45you know, laying it on really thick, but he was so chill.
- 52:49So I was just like, oh, like he's super chill, but it's just
- 52:52like his character, his heart that it just like, it literally
- 52:54just makes you love him. So much.
- 52:56His character was just the sweetest guy like it.
- 52:59You're just rooting for him the entire time and he never
- 53:01overstepped his boundaries. You never try to cross the line.
- 53:04He never try to like, take her to the side and be like, hey,
- 53:07I'm too, I just I need to tell you that I like you like you
- 53:09know, he never did that. Like yeah you know, like and I
- 53:12don't know like it was even like I guess towards the middle of
- 53:15the show, I was thinking like, okay.
- 53:17Like I mean clearly has a crush on her whatever but then I start
- 53:19kind of daddy in the middle. Like, does he really have a
- 53:21crush on her? Because I don't know, he's so
- 53:22chill about it. But then towards the end I feel
- 53:24like they kind of crammed all this stuff in like with like the
- 53:27pimp taking the picture of the Shadow and everything so I was
- 53:29like okay like I wish there was like a little bit more of this
- 53:32like sprinkled throughout because it was just it was
- 53:34really cute but yeah exactly and they've second lead of mine.
- 53:38I think that and they kind of went back circled back and show
- 53:42the actual scene of him taking a photo of your shadows, now that
- 53:46they could have just done that throughout.
- 53:48Like they should have had that Stinger of him, like, doing
- 53:51something like, you know, doing something for her.
- 53:55Where were, you know, secretly, you know, doing x y z, because
- 54:00it would have helped that s like lead story line a little bit
- 54:04better, right? Kind of bridge some gaps, but we
- 54:07only got that one. Still Care of him like taking
- 54:09the shadow photo of them, which was like, really cute.
- 54:13Like it was so cute, very adorable.
- 54:15Yeah. Like he's just like, oh my God,
- 54:17we actually look really cute. As Shadows looks like she's
- 54:19leaning on my shoulder and then like secret and she can't
- 54:23recognize her own freaking Shadowland, right?
- 54:27He's like who's that stupid? Like sometimes you're like oh
- 54:29yeah, she's smart. No, she's stupid.
- 54:32Let's talk about how stupid she is.
- 54:33Okay. So look, my goodness.
- 54:36Final episodes. She I don't know why she insists
- 54:40on meeting attorney you bomb by herself multiple times.
- 54:46Yeah, when she knows from the very first episode that he's
- 54:51dirt, he's trash. He frames her for murder in an
- 54:54alternate, like, basically alternate reality.
- 54:56Because that ended up not happening.
- 54:59And she loses everything because of him and still, she decides.
- 55:02Oh, I'm going to like meet up with him and like, talk with him
- 55:05without any sort of like precautions.
- 55:08And again, it comes back to bite her in the final episode.
- 55:11He drugs, her gets with the serial, killer tries to kill her
- 55:13like he's like expecting her not to make it so that he could
- 55:16spend the story. However he wants well like what
- 55:20the hell? Like what the hell was she
- 55:22thinking? Yeah, it was just like what you
- 55:24put yourself in a situation. Yes.
- 55:26Why would you put yourself in that situation?
- 55:28You knew you knew. She's so trusting.
- 55:32Uh it's like why is she the damsel?
- 55:35She knows better. For the story.
- 55:39Anything I have to save the day reporter reporter Gene.
- 55:44She's like, I gotta go scoop it out for myself.
- 55:47What can we talk about? And I won't go to because I know
- 55:52we'll get it to him, but I have some thoughts on Sango poke that
- 55:56performance. He killed it, he killed it.
- 56:00One of the best villains I've seen in kdrama yali.
- 56:05I killed it. Yeah.
- 56:06And they gave him a little bit of like remorse, because every
- 56:10time he would have some sort of trial, go his way or not go, his
- 56:13way, he would feel guilty and go to the bathroom and like scrub,
- 56:19his hands trying to wash himself of like, you know, the Dirty
- 56:23Deeds that he's been doing as an attorney.
- 56:26And like I don't know if you've, you know, interacted with
- 56:30attorneys and the in defense attorneys at all.
- 56:33But my mom. For a law firm, and she's worked
- 56:36for law firms, like her whole career.
- 56:38And so I've been in and out of, like, Law Firm offices, and I
- 56:42just think that they kind of portrayed, this kind of weird
- 56:47because defense attorneys know that a lot of the clients that
- 56:51they have are guilty but you know, they deserve due process.
- 56:55That's their whole thing in America and in the you know,
- 56:58system that I've witnessed with a defense attorneys, they're
- 57:01like yeah sometimes they'll be guilty but But they deserve due
- 57:05process as well. And that's like the leg that
- 57:07they stand on, is they they look to that tenant of our, you know,
- 57:14law system. Yeah.
- 57:16To get through kind of like a morally, morally, gray areas.
- 57:25I guess, is how to put it and he wasn't coming at it from that
- 57:30angle. At all like he wasn't like,
- 57:32well, even though they're guilty like they deserve.
- 57:34Have their day in court or whatever?
- 57:36No, he was like, yeah, like I'll get you out of it.
- 57:40Like right? He was check straight
- 57:43villainous. Yeah, he was evil, he was
- 57:46terrible. Yeah, he played the heck out of
- 57:48that role like I was like wow. Like did you just want to slap
- 57:51him the whole time? Right?
- 57:53Because if you really can't stand him the entire time and
- 57:55yes but like just to kind of piggyback off of what you were
- 57:58saying it. Just like it did.
- 57:59Show that like okay like you do have a conscience because he
- 58:03knows bad. Like wrong getting people off
- 58:06for like, and basically, literally going to, every time
- 58:08he liked, would refute the prosecution, with literally
- 58:12something he made up like a reach, like such a far reach.
- 58:15I'll just roll my eyes, if you like.
- 58:17Are you kidding me, right? Are you serious?
- 58:19He's like, oh, yeah. Like the guy didn't die because
- 58:23of falling. He died because of the autopsy,
- 58:25just like. Are you kidding me?
- 58:26Like what's wrong with you? Think about it?
- 58:30It's like least. Like think about it like a
- 58:33horrible. Horrible person.
- 58:34Yeah, he played the heck of a lot role as the first time I've
- 58:37seen sign job in a shell. So I was just like, wow, yeah,
- 58:42he's let me see. He's been an eve.
- 58:45He's been in shooting stars. As a cameo, he was in doctors as
- 58:49a cameo. Which doctors is I think?
- 58:53Yeah, the dirt both of the directors worked on doctors.
- 58:56So he had already, you know, it worked with the directors
- 59:01before. He's also in the innocent man
- 59:03with some doing key. Why?
- 59:06I think, is that from, Jimmy key?
- 59:08No, it's a show from 2012, so I go.
- 59:12Okay, really lay back. No, it's a throwback.
- 59:14And I really like that show. I don't remember, who the hell
- 59:17is character was, but he was in there, like you stay.
- 59:20I don't remember there and that's a good show, so, I
- 59:25recommend it, but yeah, I also was very taken aback.
- 59:30Again, I don't really like to watch the police procedurals and
- 59:34the prosecutor Seed rolls that they have in kdrama.
- 59:38I don't really like that. Drama, the legal drama Leo job,
- 59:44but I just hate the fact that they're going through some of
- 59:47these trials and they don't have a jury.
- 59:49They just have a panel of three judges and like, that really
- 59:52bothers me because they're not being tried by like a jury of
- 59:55their peers but not being judged by a jury of their peers.
- 59:58Like it is in the US but in other shows, they do sometimes
- 1:00:02have a jury. They do is like it, just like,
- 1:00:04it depends and I don't know what the Why it is or isn't that way
- 1:00:08sometimes but right, it's like a little bit frustrating like
- 1:00:11there. Yeah there are laws and stuff.
- 1:00:13Like if it's real then it's like what I did leave.
- 1:00:17I did like the court Sister Act Dance theme that one was really
- 1:00:24heavy, just you remember that? Yes, I do.
- 1:00:27That was amazing because yes, she goes, I love him and you do.
- 1:00:31I love drunken, hence, character in uniform, I'm like a man in
- 1:00:36uniform. He's like fuck.
- 1:00:37Yeah uniformed you have a choir robe over that scene was
- 1:00:43hilarious. I feel like 10 times.
- 1:00:46Yeah it's good. That's a good one but yeah, I do
- 1:00:49agree because I'm watching um extraordinary attorney Wu and
- 1:00:53she had like a jury at least four episode one and I was like
- 1:00:56oh they do have juries and like quartz.
- 1:00:59So that's a good point. Yes, that's why I don't know
- 1:01:03why. Yes and why know sometimes but
- 1:01:05yeah, right. Speaking of like, going back to
- 1:01:09this romance that I like, I don't really buy into, they try
- 1:01:13to up the stakes in the middle of the show around episode 11
- 1:01:17when the mom suddenly, like withdraws, support from j.chan,
- 1:01:20like, what those so confusing and exhausting.
- 1:01:24Yeah, I would even like rewind and be like, did I miss
- 1:01:28something? Was going on with her?
- 1:01:30Like, yeah, she cuts him off. Basically from recuperating at
- 1:01:33the house for more than two days.
- 1:01:35He got freakin Shot in the street and she's like, you're
- 1:01:39not saying more than two days, right?
- 1:01:40Like it's like for what? And then she basically and she
- 1:01:44steals the ring that he gave her, that he gets like aah.
- 1:01:50And she's like, oh, I'm thinking back to Susie's character
- 1:01:54because she was a wailing mess essentially when he got injured
- 1:01:59and in, she was crying because she made the reality worst.
- 1:02:02Like she changed her dream to the so that it was worse.
- 1:02:06Ass off, then hurt him getting stabbed and all this stuff, and
- 1:02:09it reminded her of her reaction to her dad dying.
- 1:02:12Yeah, the bus crash or the bus explosion.
- 1:02:16And she says, like, sorry, I can't watch my daughter, like
- 1:02:18breakdown, like that, again, like, she's losing like her mind
- 1:02:22basically. Yeah, and I was like your
- 1:02:25daughter sees. So let's take, let's take a
- 1:02:27break it out. So, your daughter sees the
- 1:02:29future in dreams and she suddenly can't have any intense
- 1:02:34feelings about her messing around with the future or her
- 1:02:38boyfriend getting shot. Like, come on, like, give her a
- 1:02:42break, you know, seriously. Like it didn't You, come on
- 1:02:46lady. Yeah, it doesn't make any sense
- 1:02:48why she was doing it. She did it for like multiple
- 1:02:50like episodes and she even does the same thing to woo.
- 1:02:52Tak it 1.2 and I was like, why are you doing this?
- 1:02:55Like, she kept doing it people. And I'm like, you're being
- 1:02:58petty. Sounds like Petty.
- 1:03:00And then she even said like I'm sorry I was being petty.
- 1:03:01Like she stole a ring like she's thieving and stuff in her own
- 1:03:05house like no. No.
- 1:03:09It was funny that she was keeping score between the boys,
- 1:03:12I love. Yeah.
- 1:03:13So she was like those funny you like pickles?
- 1:03:15Cool. And then she doesn't bring down.
- 1:03:20I think he did. He did when he was like salty
- 1:03:25about it. He was like what is more points
- 1:03:27than me outing? Yeah, jeonghan will always be
- 1:03:33the winner. Number one, number one.
- 1:03:35Yeah, yes. Speaking of some, of the cases
- 1:03:41that they went through. So I found the case where they
- 1:03:45had to choose between the autopsy, doing the autopsy, or
- 1:03:48doing the organ transplant. That one was really emotional
- 1:03:52and intense and in all the good, good ways.
- 1:03:55Right? Because, yeah, I feel like they
- 1:03:58put that other prosecutor on the under extreme pressure.
- 1:04:03And she ends up showing extreme empathy toward The parent who
- 1:04:08lost their son, the parent, who like, had their son murdered,
- 1:04:13she was like, you know, I think that they should do the autopsy
- 1:04:16because if I look at it from the Tas parents perspective, like I
- 1:04:20would want my child, like I want Justice For My Child, right?
- 1:04:25And it was, I think that kind of thing should have been explored
- 1:04:30a little more like maybe some of these stories should have had
- 1:04:32that look like angle where someone else has to make the
- 1:04:36decision. Yes, or no?
- 1:04:38Oh, to do x y z because it seemed like that was more
- 1:04:42meaningful than jet on making the call.
- 1:04:45You know what I'm saying? Right, right.
- 1:04:48Because her son was like supposed to get the transplant.
- 1:04:50He did get the transplant l so it ends up being like not an
- 1:04:54issue because they do both at the same time to translate and
- 1:04:57the autopsy and I was like okay that was a little bit of a
- 1:04:59letdown because like you want it to be one or the other, but they
- 1:05:04end up doing both. So I'm like, okay There was a
- 1:05:06lot of that in the show, where it's like, oh we have this like
- 1:05:09dilemma and then like, they choose a very obvious like
- 1:05:13alternative that's like, yeah, it ends.
- 1:05:15Get everyone lat. Yeah.
- 1:05:16Like everyone gets a win-win throughout the show.
- 1:05:19Yes. The beginning of her love story
- 1:05:21though, the other prosecutor and the other prosecutors love
- 1:05:24story. They had the better.
- 1:05:26They had the way better love story.
- 1:05:28Yeah, they're asleep. They had the best love story.
- 1:05:32Yeah, these are dating in the office and stuff, and yeah.
- 1:05:36You know he's very supportive of her when she's going through all
- 1:05:40that stuff with her child right in a medical emergency you know,
- 1:05:44like this is serious stuff and he's very he's there for her and
- 1:05:47he keeps her secret and he's advocating for her so it's way
- 1:05:51better of a story for them to get together then for our main
- 1:05:56couple to catch feelings and get together way.
- 1:06:01So what you know about the the prosecutors I got together on
- 1:06:05the side As I seen on there in the elevator was really funny
- 1:06:08because like, she was, like, really sad about like me was
- 1:06:10going on with her son. And he was just like, yeah, like
- 1:06:13don't worry, like, I won't say a word, like, I'm really
- 1:06:15tight-lipped and he's like, if I wasn't tight lift, I wouldn't
- 1:06:18tell you that prosecutors should is a Buddhist and prosecutors
- 1:06:21so-and-so gets fillers. I started spilling some cheese
- 1:06:25there and she got distracted and it was like, very excited about
- 1:06:29this, like Jesus in Spanish, it's cheese me.
- 1:06:32So that's why these cheese. Yeah, no, he's are spilling the
- 1:06:36tea and their, the elevator has, what should, like, what mind off
- 1:06:44of it? Yeah.
- 1:06:45So, Kurt her, you know, she was so fixated on the transplant and
- 1:06:50her son and stuff, and he was like, um, did you know that?
- 1:06:53So it's okay. It's pillars that she was like,
- 1:06:56I beg your pardon, it was really funny.
- 1:07:01Yeah, it was okay. I want to go back to ditch on
- 1:07:04because I'm sorry, John Haynes character because his big
- 1:07:09secret. Looking around to make sure no
- 1:07:13one's looking no, one hears this.
- 1:07:14It's a big secret. He's colorblind.
- 1:07:18Whoa, the blown up blown up y'all.
- 1:07:23That was the most. I was waiting for something
- 1:07:26else. I was like something else is
- 1:07:27coming. Hey.
- 1:07:30See you like? I cannot wait to hear you guys
- 1:07:32thoughts on that because I was like is this is the big secret
- 1:07:35that his friend was going to reveal to the world that he was
- 1:07:38colorblind? His friend was being tried for
- 1:07:42murder and he was like I'm gonna tell your secret And I was like,
- 1:07:48all right bet let's hope this Secrets, juicy sweetie.
- 1:07:53He just can't see red and green, okay?
- 1:07:56Like it was not that serious. He was colorblind and that
- 1:08:00meant. He couldn't be a police officer
- 1:08:01which I get that. He's gonna lose his career over
- 1:08:03it. But at the same time like in the
- 1:08:05context of this whole show, like we have murderers, you have to
- 1:08:08fucking serial killer in the final episode.
- 1:08:09Like what he's colorblind. And that's the thing, that
- 1:08:13that's the thing, the thing that I don't worry, but this whole
- 1:08:16case wide open. What else?
- 1:08:19Like what is? No, this was so weak.
- 1:08:23It was so weak. And my sister was like, because
- 1:08:25she saw the last episode she was like.
- 1:08:27So I guess it follows that principle, right?
- 1:08:30That you always talk about and I was like, yes, chekhov's gun.
- 1:08:32If you introduce a concept or, you know, in this case,
- 1:08:37chekhov's gun, if you have a gun in the scene, by the end of the
- 1:08:40scene, you have to shoot the gun.
- 1:08:42So, in this case, they had the color blindness.
- 1:08:44And at the end, the colorblind is comes into.
- 1:08:47Play, right. He again like I said, it ends up
- 1:08:51being a win-win. He reveals that he's Colorblind
- 1:08:54on the stand. He does not lie in perjure
- 1:08:56himself and loses his entire career and still the case is
- 1:09:01one. It's not a big deal in the grand
- 1:09:03scheme of things and I was like, okay there it is.
- 1:09:06This writing that's like oh it's got to be one of the other A or
- 1:09:09B and then they're like how about H like they're just like
- 1:09:13let's choose something else like and it's not a big deal.
- 1:09:17Yeah, I'm so sorry wild and also frustrated with that, yeah, it
- 1:09:23was weird. Also like I get that ended up
- 1:09:27kind of coming back around with like being able to identify the
- 1:09:30umbrella and everything, but that could have been entirely
- 1:09:33left out. I don't under like, that was
- 1:09:34not. I was like, did he kill someone
- 1:09:38when he was like a teenager like, what did he do?
- 1:09:42Yes, I wanted it to be sole. Shh sighs.
- 1:09:45I wanted gossip I want Hey, I got water.
- 1:09:50Looks like he's colorblind like and I'm like, you're like,
- 1:09:53you're literally being accused of murdering somebody, you look,
- 1:09:55well, I'm going to tell everyone that you're color blind.
- 1:09:57Like what does it? How does that make any sense?
- 1:10:01Dramatic music. Like, I'm gonna tell everyone
- 1:10:03your secret and then to find out that secret is being colorblind.
- 1:10:06I was like, that is actually ridiculous.
- 1:10:09It was like, you know, you could have chosen 20 other things, I
- 1:10:11would've been better than color blindness because it was, it was
- 1:10:14like, equivalent of like, oh man, like I'm gonna Take you
- 1:10:17down with me when you tell people that you had braces like
- 1:10:20what. But above all things, I had
- 1:10:24ordered Orthodontics. Like no, it was that like, out
- 1:10:28of left field. Oh man, oh man, oh man, like
- 1:10:35literally, that's what you thought like.
- 1:10:40Pop carry on, get it together. Girl, like, you had a better.
- 1:10:44She had a better time to start up better time and dream.
- 1:10:46Higher than she did with this. This side plot of him being
- 1:10:51another plan. Oh my God, all of the twists in
- 1:10:55the show, they didn't land well with me.
- 1:10:57So this was one of them. I was like, yeah, like the big
- 1:11:02reveals kind of like that was kind of the trend like for me as
- 1:11:06well, just kind of like it ends up falling flat and you're just
- 1:11:08like, that's it like, Literally literally just it's so
- 1:11:16disappointing. Like Anyway, investigator toy
- 1:11:21ends up being the cop that they saved from drowning back in the
- 1:11:24day. Of course, of course, like, it
- 1:11:29has like something had to be somebody that we had seen
- 1:11:31before, right? It's true.
- 1:11:34Yeah. How did you not recognize him
- 1:11:36though? I don't, I just think get that.
- 1:11:39But they found no, no, he was committing suicide and then it's
- 1:11:55been, I don't know what, 15, 20 years you're telling me, they
- 1:12:00can't ID this guy. Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:12:05I feel so blowing that when it was revealed, like he saved them
- 1:12:09from that burning trailer tobacco thing and I was just
- 1:12:13like, why it could have been it. Somebody else like not him.
- 1:12:17Come on Mom. But yeah, no, you know what for
- 1:12:21me, like actually really wasn't. I wasn't mad at that.
- 1:12:24Like I was just like, okay, like, that's a cool, like, I
- 1:12:28actually didn't have a problem with it being him.
- 1:12:30I had a problem with what happened later.
- 1:12:32We'll talk about it, that way. What happened?
- 1:12:34Okay, let's go for it. Go for it yourself, right?
- 1:12:36Okay, yeah, so I think I'm sorry, I'm not gonna lie, I like
- 1:12:41a massive I roll. When he got hit by the car, bro,
- 1:12:45massive I roll. It was very reminiscent of why
- 1:12:49her. So that's why I was like, oh,
- 1:12:50this makes a lot of sense with like this, the directors and the
- 1:12:53writers. Yeah.
- 1:12:54Because something similar happened and why her, you know,
- 1:12:57you know, oxygen, that's kind of like, yeah.
- 1:12:59Just kind of like why like this Is so like it I just seemed like
- 1:13:05kind of like the easy way out very cliche.
- 1:13:07Very just yeah, I was so disappointed, that that's the
- 1:13:11choice that they took and I was like, of course he got hit by a
- 1:13:13car, so they label. So they were able to save tons
- 1:13:18of people throughout the show and each other, like, countless
- 1:13:21times. We, they can't save investigator
- 1:13:23Troy. They can't save this man.
- 1:13:27That's cause no one was dreaming about him.
- 1:13:30Evidently you can only say something, Jun bok, choy.
- 1:13:34He died. Oh yeah.
- 1:13:38I'm so sad because the end it was you bum as well.
- 1:13:43Like attorney you bomb again like goes on a rampage and runs
- 1:13:47him down in the street. I don't know why he did that so
- 1:13:51I guess maybe he was already like I'm going to jail anyway.
- 1:13:54I don't know. Why would he good to you?
- 1:13:57Exactly. He was so like, um, What's the
- 1:14:03word he was so intelligent about, like, what to do and what
- 1:14:06not to do, throughout the entire day.
- 1:14:07He was not trying to incriminate himself, even during the last
- 1:14:10bit of his trial. He was like, you know, I'm
- 1:14:13innocent. I didn't do this.
- 1:14:14Whatever. Maintaining her innocence and it
- 1:14:17wasn't until like his CEO or his boss who again we never seen
- 1:14:21before was like, right, you know, fool on is going to be
- 1:14:25here. Next time, I'm not going to do.
- 1:14:27I mean, I could be your attorney.
- 1:14:28Yep. And he found that so offensive.
- 1:14:32Been like maddening, I guess that he just like went off the
- 1:14:35rails. When investigator Troy was like
- 1:14:37don't run just admit your guilt and like deal with it.
- 1:14:41Like you can probably get a lighter sentence if you just
- 1:14:43admit to what you did. And again that was apparently,
- 1:14:46so awful, that he runs like runs him over with his vehicle.
- 1:14:52In my mind, it was just the writer trying to come full
- 1:14:54circle. Because in the first episode you
- 1:14:57have that dream where he runs Junkin over in the street.
- 1:15:01The hit-and-run. Run.
- 1:15:03So they were like, okay well he has to actually fulfill the
- 1:15:05destiny somehow. So then they he runs over
- 1:15:08investigator Choice instead. Mmm, wow.
- 1:15:11Just you a genius girl. I really like right there.
- 1:15:15Yeah, that that might have been their logic as to why they did
- 1:15:18that, but it was a horrible Choice, horrible.
- 1:15:21Like that wasn't terrible. The same thing happens to
- 1:15:25what's-her-face. Susie.
- 1:15:26So Seuss, character ends up in a coma in the first episode.
- 1:15:30Yeah. By the last episode.
- 1:15:31She's Through a coma as well. Which seemingly wasn't even that
- 1:15:34bad of a deal for her health wise?
- 1:15:36Because she comes out of the coma remembers, everything about
- 1:15:39the attempted murder, the color of the umbrellas.
- 1:15:42She's walking around, doesn't need assistance.
- 1:15:44No brain damage to speak of. She's fine.
- 1:15:49Wow, Jess, you're in both in just in shock it out.
- 1:15:58Wow. Oh, no, I didn't mean to blow
- 1:16:02anybody's mind but that I didn't like that.
- 1:16:05They still stuck with the original like Destiny, like the
- 1:16:09original fear that they had. Yeah, like he has to kill
- 1:16:13somebody by running them over with the car and like she has to
- 1:16:16pee in a comatose and all the stuff, like just doesn't make
- 1:16:20sense, just didn't? You didn't need it.
- 1:16:22You didn't need it, it wasn't necessary.
- 1:16:24Or I guess ultimately it also sells the idea that like, they
- 1:16:27opt, he could not fix. The fake, you know, that's
- 1:16:31right, right? Right.
- 1:16:33It kind of, yeah, it kinda makes you think about like, you know,
- 1:16:36how, like time travel movies or like, even like Avengers and
- 1:16:39stuff and they're just like, well, if we change stuff here,
- 1:16:41it's Gonna Change stuff as gonna mess everything up.
- 1:16:43So I was wondering if like all the any of the things that they
- 1:16:46change would come back around. So girl you crack the code, you
- 1:16:50figured it out and I didn't. Mm, yeah, I didn't even think
- 1:16:52about that. But we're y'all that was a good
- 1:16:54point. What you made about like why my
- 1:16:57goodness I'm gonna call him sign you off, I don't remember you
- 1:16:59bomb. I'm sorry you beneath me.
- 1:17:02Yes he hit investigator toy like cut off.
- 1:17:07Just kind of like y. Like it's like logically
- 1:17:11speaking like why cause you're already in trouble?
- 1:17:13Like you're already going down. So I was just like well you're
- 1:17:16going down with me or was it just like him just trying to
- 1:17:18like just seek revenge or be like you blow up my spot?
- 1:17:22Like you expose everything, like I don't it just he didn't make
- 1:17:24sense. Logically, he didn't even seem
- 1:17:26that upset like after he parted ways with joy, is like and
- 1:17:31likewise talking about this car and you're just like, okay,
- 1:17:36conversation over we're done like he's going to jail,
- 1:17:38whatever know he comes flying through with the car like like
- 1:17:43and then he doesn't even like actually commit the hit-and-run.
- 1:17:45Like he doesn't run. He sticks around.
- 1:17:48They catch you 26 there. Yeah, I did it.
- 1:17:54Years ago. Bird bar.
- 1:17:57Oh, goodness gracious. Here's another qualms that I
- 1:18:02have in the last couple of episodes.
- 1:18:03They introduced the serial killer, I knew immediately that
- 1:18:06it was a female serial. Killer, there was no doubt in my
- 1:18:09mind that it was a female. I don't know why, but I was
- 1:18:12like, it's a lady. They're looking for the wrong
- 1:18:14person, whatever. They have the wrong ammo and
- 1:18:17sure enough. It's a lady.
- 1:18:19And the reason why she started being a serial killer and
- 1:18:22killing off the people in the hospital Ward was because she
- 1:18:25was basically jealous of them for getting better while she was
- 1:18:29you know getting through her illness and wasn't getting
- 1:18:33better and all this stuff. What was her illness?
- 1:18:35This is this really really irked me.
- 1:18:39Oh my goodness, her illness was Crohn's disease.
- 1:18:43It's funny but yeah, it was definitely a facepalm moment.
- 1:18:49I was like Crohn's disease that you can live with that.
- 1:18:52I know somebody with crohn's disease.
- 1:18:54Of course, they avoid certain things.
- 1:18:55Of course, is painful for them sometimes and they get that are
- 1:18:57here. They have like lapses but as far
- 1:19:01as like, should there be open lesions all over their body and
- 1:19:05face like why? I don't know what the hell was
- 1:19:08that. What was that?
- 1:19:11They like got the symptoms of Crohn's Disease, all wrong.
- 1:19:16Looks like you can look this up. Like it should be, she was like,
- 1:19:19oh they took a part of my intestines and I was like, okay
- 1:19:21I can understand that. Like that's yeah falls in love
- 1:19:24with crohn's disease, but then she was like right couldn't move
- 1:19:26like she was laid up in bed with all of these like facial lesions
- 1:19:30and see ya body like why are we having open sores if you had any
- 1:19:35sores, that would be on the inside of her mouth?
- 1:19:36Like it was like, right? I was like the basic like due
- 1:19:43diligence to look at this disease.
- 1:19:46Like right fit figure out what would make sense.
- 1:19:49I wish it was like something more dressy like cancer, you
- 1:19:52know, in that respect, like maybe there were like a can't be
- 1:19:55cancer. Everyone does cancer in kdrama.
- 1:19:58Let's do something else. Right, they chose Crohn's
- 1:20:01disease disease. Yeah, it was bizarre like it was
- 1:20:05that was another anti climactic moment.
- 1:20:07It was just kind of like to just to find out that it's this lady.
- 1:20:11That was bitter that she was sick and other people in her
- 1:20:14room or getting better. And No one like aspect her.
- 1:20:17When all right, the other people in the ward died.
- 1:20:20Yeah, it was, it was just weird. It was just like, okay, like,
- 1:20:24that's why she did it. But then like I also don't
- 1:20:26really like how they molded the story, like a rounded because,
- 1:20:29like, the random guy that like stole cell phones and like him.
- 1:20:33Having a daughter, like, that's passed away ten years before I
- 1:20:36was like, this was not necessary, but quite and that
- 1:20:40being the lead up to like the lady, it was just kind of like
- 1:20:43what is this? Keep going.
- 1:20:46Keep going. There's more I do this work.
- 1:20:48Oh my God, guys. Son and stuff that I didn't like
- 1:20:51when I was switching umbrellas with people, then all of the
- 1:20:55stuff with the sun and then the guy who like was falsely accused
- 1:20:59and stuff to just build upon everything.
- 1:21:02You said Nez just yeah. All that whole thing mess lazy,
- 1:21:08it's lazy. Yeah, you know, Then
- 1:21:13investigator Choi said that you bum had the same birthday as his
- 1:21:17brother. His younger brother that like
- 1:21:19died. Every single thing is like, it's
- 1:21:26just like, what the heck? Not honestly, nothing was making
- 1:21:29sense. What's the end?
- 1:21:33I'll be like it was. I thought I was a coincidence,
- 1:21:38has over and over and over again.
- 1:21:41And okay, dramas are built on coincidences.
- 1:21:43I get it. But this was too much, it was
- 1:21:48and there's a way to do it. Well, like, we've all seen.
- 1:21:50Dramas that like kind of have this kind of similar thing going
- 1:21:54on, like there might be a mystery, there might be a crime,
- 1:21:55whatever childhood connection, whatever, but like it can be
- 1:21:59done well and it could be done in an intentional way and not
- 1:22:02just a whole bunch of Randomness and just like lazy coincidences,
- 1:22:07like we've seen it done well to. So to kind of see how they kind
- 1:22:09of constructed the story I was just kind of like, yeah, this is
- 1:22:13not, this is not up to par. I would say if you want to watch
- 1:22:18something that's like a fantasy story that has some sort of like
- 1:22:22time element or, you know, trying to fix events that are
- 1:22:27not so good from happening. And that sort of thing I would
- 1:22:29go with either signal, which is a police procedural.
- 1:22:33Okay. Excellent drama.
- 1:22:34Definitely, recommend of my list or if you want yes, watch it or
- 1:22:40if you want to go more romance, you could go with tomorrow with
- 1:22:42you which starter my list to yes.
- 1:22:46I know what this guy's name again, I love him.
- 1:22:49The gospel and you Joan, you doin it.
- 1:22:53I love him so much. I loved him from you to have and
- 1:22:55I was like, I love you. He's really such a good actor,
- 1:22:58stunning, such a great actor, highly recommend.
- 1:23:00No one talks about tomorrow with you, it's so good.
- 1:23:02So, those two I would definitely recommend for if you if this
- 1:23:08because we've really shot on this show, I don't want to wrap
- 1:23:13up this. They love it.
- 1:23:16Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:23:19Okay. When were some good things about
- 1:23:20the strut? I know we're coming to and then
- 1:23:22we're kind of wrapping it up. But like what were some good
- 1:23:24things about this drama that you liked?
- 1:23:29Well, I kind of know I'm like, you know, on other side, but I
- 1:23:34like the romance. Like one of my favorite scenes
- 1:23:36was like after the whole stabbing thing and they both met
- 1:23:41like the little Pond Park area, and she was crying.
- 1:23:44And then he gave her his tie, his shoes and raping her time
- 1:23:48with that's what their heart tears.
- 1:23:50I was like you're really cute maybe in another drama with a
- 1:23:54different like writing team and stuff them to try it again.
- 1:23:58I felt like They were really cute.
- 1:24:01They were together it just for me.
- 1:24:03I thought they were cute. Don't know, I know you guys.
- 1:24:05I agree. I think they had a lot of cute
- 1:24:08moments. Like, really cute moments, like
- 1:24:11the tide, like the crying Look Down, Show tie, like the kiss in
- 1:24:15the rain and just like their, which didn't actually have their
- 1:24:19right? I'm not through the cherry
- 1:24:22blossom kiss, which never happened it, right?
- 1:24:25That didn't happen yet. But the rain kiss, happy?
- 1:24:27Yes, yes. So let's leave They definitely
- 1:24:29had some cute moments but hopefully we can talk about our
- 1:24:32chemistry like a little bit after because I do have some
- 1:24:36issues. Okay?
- 1:24:37But no, I think they did have some really sweet moments.
- 1:24:40Yes, my name is sweet moment then we can talk about their
- 1:24:41chemistry. So I liked that he watches over
- 1:24:46her on her way to work and he's like, oh, I'll take you to work
- 1:24:49and all this stuff and he leads her across the street, when
- 1:24:51she's really scared to return to her job.
- 1:24:54Because, of course, she saw her demise, and she was wearing the
- 1:24:56SBS, like, uniform or whatever and she was, like, I can't go
- 1:24:58back. Work.
- 1:24:59Otherwise, I will eventually die on the job.
- 1:25:02And, you know, she was very scared and he leads her across
- 1:25:06the street. And sincerely says that like,
- 1:25:09yeah, I'll take you to work everyday.
- 1:25:10If that makes you feel at peace. And yeah, you can whine to me
- 1:25:14about protecting you if you want.
- 1:25:16And you know, he lets her hug him and it's just he's catching
- 1:25:20more feelings toward that point and it felt like that moment was
- 1:25:24very important for them. So I like that a lot.
- 1:25:28Okay. Yeah.
- 1:25:29Yeah. Oh, one more thing.
- 1:25:30I just have like one more sweet woman.
- 1:25:32I love whenever they did, like, kind of like the juxtaposition
- 1:25:36between when they were kids and when there were adults, so, like
- 1:25:40the scene, when they were at the funeral hall, for inspector toys
- 1:25:45funeral, they kept cutting and yeah, that was bat.
- 1:25:49Bat, bat got me a little choked up up from that seed.
- 1:25:54And also like the scene that they had went.
- 1:25:57After J tan got shot and Um like he was she was like at his
- 1:26:01bedside and they kind of like did the same thing like kind of
- 1:26:04like a flashback when they're yeah kind of like the chocolate
- 1:26:07chip, the child version of them and it was that was really,
- 1:26:09really sweet. Yeah but the funeral part I did
- 1:26:13a little choked up a little bit then but yeah it was.
- 1:26:16That was sweet. Oh sorry one more thing.
- 1:26:20This other sweet moment. This is Han.
- 1:26:22Woo Tak and his sunbae that I went when they think about it at
- 1:26:27the end. Yeah.
- 1:26:30And what's cried in that scene. Yeah.
- 1:26:32Like that that I was literally, like, going like this, like I
- 1:26:35was like, oh wow, I agree. That was very emotional because
- 1:26:39he's saying goodbye to his longtime partner in the partner.
- 1:26:42Like kept his secret, he knew he was colorblind the whole time
- 1:26:44was like helping him out and learn Like he just says a very
- 1:26:49poetic things like he's because he refers to the emblem of the
- 1:26:52public, the police badge or whatever and he's like this felt
- 1:26:56so heavy on me but I like did it, you know?
- 1:26:59Anyway and I you know, wanted to be a good, you know, police
- 1:27:03officer whatever. And it's just like, that's all
- 1:27:06right. I think I cry.
- 1:27:20Yeah. Like fryer.
- 1:27:21He's a good like you're like, oh my God, he's about to fall over.
- 1:27:25Like he's just so overcome and I believe him like every time he's
- 1:27:30like crying or wailing or whatever and yeah, that goodbye
- 1:27:34with him. And his part I was like Bromance
- 1:27:35is alive. Like this is bleep.
- 1:27:38What a fool, like it's more emotional than like anything.
- 1:27:40Else that happened. And yeah, that was the most fun
- 1:27:43part of the entire show for me. I was like, Yep.
- 1:27:46This is this. It I was like, legit, like not.
- 1:27:48Okay, yeah, mmm, yeah, it's good, it's good.
- 1:27:54Okay, Chemistry Between the leads rapid fire.
- 1:27:57Let's go. What do you guys think?
- 1:28:00I do. Now, I'm thinking back, I do
- 1:28:02agree with you guys because I was thinking, like, in the
- 1:28:06beginning, she was really clingy.
- 1:28:08And then she stopped being clingy in the next episode.
- 1:28:11He was in love with her, and I was like, yeah, you but you were
- 1:28:14mad at her for being clingy, then you became clingy.
- 1:28:17How did you fall in love with her?
- 1:28:18Was it the dreams? Was it?
- 1:28:19Because her mother told you don't go with her.
- 1:28:21Like what happened? Yeah.
- 1:28:25Yes like there was yes, exactly. I don't know what to say but it
- 1:28:30was like, just, yes. Like there was no, where did it
- 1:28:34come from? Like, why was he suddenly not
- 1:28:35annoyed with her being clingy? And like, assuming that they
- 1:28:38were in a relationship in that? He liked her and all the stuff
- 1:28:40like, no. She was dilute for like five
- 1:28:43years. Those.
- 1:28:44And then he was like, boom. I like you.
- 1:28:46Hmm. For what?
- 1:28:47Why? That's my puppy whistles when I
- 1:28:52can't figure out. Why the leads like each other.
- 1:28:55It's like, why do you like them? Why do you like she can't?
- 1:28:58Yeah, no reason. Uh, no reason at all.
- 1:29:02Yeah, no. Yeah for me it was something I
- 1:29:06was thinking about throughout the whole show because I was
- 1:29:08like something's off and I don't know what what it is but
- 1:29:12something's off about this. I just and like I said before
- 1:29:15like they did have a lot of Sweet Moments like I like the
- 1:29:17way that like the Sweet Moments were written and everything but
- 1:29:19like It just wasn't it wasn't consistent from he was like very
- 1:29:23up and down like I wasn't getting that that that Sizzle
- 1:29:27like I wasn't getting like the fuzzies like yeah and I really
- 1:29:30wanted to because I felt like on paper like they look great
- 1:29:32together like right. You know, they're both very
- 1:29:35talented, of course but it just wasn't I wasn't feeling it and
- 1:29:39honestly like I feel like hyung Jun will tack on more chemistry
- 1:29:42like yeah. I felt the chemistry between
- 1:29:44them. Even if feels like even those
- 1:29:45just friend the chemistry or whatever, he liked her, whatever
- 1:29:48unrequited but I felt like more chemistry.
- 1:29:50Between them. But I was not feeling the
- 1:29:54Romantic chemistry, like, between Hong Joo and a town,
- 1:29:57like, at all, like, sometimes I feel like, but for the most part
- 1:30:00it was like, not really and like they have a great chemistry as
- 1:30:03like, friends that the, when the three of them were together, it
- 1:30:05was like the cutest thing like the two of them, I was just like
- 1:30:09something about this just feels forced.
- 1:30:10It feels unnatural like, I don't know, like there was something
- 1:30:13about it that was just off. Yeah.
- 1:30:15And that sucks because their kisses were so good, right?
- 1:30:17Like it was a good quality kissing I guess.
- 1:30:20They were and still like the chemistry was in there and I
- 1:30:24would say that. Why are you guys laughing a
- 1:30:26really good quality kissing? I've never heard that before.
- 1:30:31I've never so everyone makes fun of like the fisheye kisses or
- 1:30:37like dogs kisses tile of Kiss. Ya almost felt like they didn't
- 1:30:41have none of that. So I was like, right.
- 1:30:42Okay. High-quality kisses.
- 1:30:44So right, here's my thing, is that we've I'm gonna trade mark
- 1:30:49that, I You should? You said, they'll make it your
- 1:30:53thing you should handle, do it? Yeah, but we've seen Duncan
- 1:30:59Duncan, hey, Jung. Suk with other female leaves and
- 1:31:03he's had great chemistry with them.
- 1:31:04Like, let's look at w for instance, I don't know if you
- 1:31:07guys have seen that one but like he has great chemistry with Han
- 1:31:09hyo-joo and that one, right? And it's kind of their
- 1:31:12chemistry, the drives the whole show because it goes off the
- 1:31:15rails plot-wise, but then two together like invested in them.
- 1:31:21Or he's like yes yes goes nuts. I have outside conversation
- 1:31:25about that. I have a question for y'all
- 1:31:28though. And maybe y'all can explain to
- 1:31:30me. Do you think that maybe he
- 1:31:32started to like her because plot twist at the end.
- 1:31:35He was suspecting who she was from the ball cap so he was
- 1:31:40drawn to her, maybe from that, I don't know.
- 1:31:46Maybe maybe start to put things together.
- 1:31:49Yeah, he had. Inkling.
- 1:31:51For sure. They made it seem like he was
- 1:31:52like, Oh, I thought it was a boy when I was a kid.
- 1:31:56Yeah, it's he likes Idols Usher at the bus, stop again.
- 1:32:05Like it does, it does it quite like, there's something missing
- 1:32:08here like, connective tissue that were missing between like,
- 1:32:12hey, I thought that kid that saved my life as a kid was a boy
- 1:32:19like we're stuck. The rest of your thought like
- 1:32:21okay I'm just gonna like go to work with her on the bus like
- 1:32:24yep. Yeah.
- 1:32:26Oh my God, you know? You know, II the way I took it
- 1:32:33was I thought he just, I thought she just wore him down.
- 1:32:36Yeah, you could say that as well.
- 1:32:38Like that's the only kind of plausible explanation that I
- 1:32:41have come to, as well as that she kind of just like between
- 1:32:44the dreams being unrelenting and him like constantly being like
- 1:32:47bombarded with them, right? And having to save her multiple
- 1:32:50times in her just being, I guess endearing like this Behavior.
- 1:32:55I guess it should be seen as an earring, he was Okay, I kind of
- 1:32:59like you right? Like, okay, we'll see how this
- 1:33:02goes like here. She's showing up to your coffee
- 1:33:04shop and getting you coffee and waiting for you and like just
- 1:33:08showing up wherever you are, you're like, okay, whatever.
- 1:33:11I was, let's see where this takes us.
- 1:33:14The one thing that I didn't, this last thing I'll say
- 1:33:16actually is he kind of when he gets shot he has this like, the
- 1:33:19extended voiceover. He's like I wanted to say this
- 1:33:22thing to you, but I wanted to tell you.
- 1:33:25And finally, he says that he wanted to tell her That he was
- 1:33:28sorry because when she confronted him on like his
- 1:33:32commute to work one time, he said he didn't believe her, even
- 1:33:36though he had already experienced these dreams and
- 1:33:39knew that she was telling the truth.
- 1:33:41You still told her, he didn't believe her and that she should
- 1:33:44feel guilty as a matter of fact, because if she's been having
- 1:33:46these dreams that come true, and people are in danger than she
- 1:33:50should feel responsible for trying to change her fate and
- 1:33:54trying to say these people. So their blood is on her hands
- 1:33:57as what he was saying. Earlier in the show and then
- 1:34:00during the voiceover he's like you know dying he's flatlining.
- 1:34:03All the stuff he's like, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that
- 1:34:05I should have just taken the umbrella that you handed me and
- 1:34:07said, okay, like I believe you and I will except, you know this
- 1:34:12umbrella because it's going to rain or whatever.
- 1:34:13Even though the forecast says, no rain.
- 1:34:16Yeah, I liked that. And he doesn't quite say this to
- 1:34:22her. I mean.
- 1:34:23Yes later on when he like comes to and he's like, there's that
- 1:34:27joke of Like him and the chief prosecutor.
- 1:34:30Like he's like got his hands all over him and he's like, up,
- 1:34:33sorry, I knew that you're here. It's like as a joke later and
- 1:34:37she does show up and they kind of just, he doesn't say
- 1:34:42necessarily all this stuff that happened in the voiceover.
- 1:34:45He just says, you know, I I recognized you, why don't you
- 1:34:48say that, you recognize me all this stuff like, and go straight
- 1:34:51to their past with the suicidal Cobb and their dads died on the
- 1:34:56same day and all this stuff their shared trauma.
- 1:34:59But he doesn't reference like this very important.
- 1:35:01Like I feel like that's very important for him to say like,
- 1:35:04yeah, I'm sorry I believe you and like I shouldn't have kind
- 1:35:08of made you become a superhero, like try and stop these things
- 1:35:12from happening because you know, it's not your response, not your
- 1:35:15responsibility necessarily to try and like block all these bad
- 1:35:19things from happening but then they also like he negates that
- 1:35:23by like become the. Yes he tries to stop all these
- 1:35:26that things from happening. Yep.
- 1:35:29So yeah, they still like fall into the trappings of like,
- 1:35:33trying to like out outmaneuver the dreams and the future.
- 1:35:36Right. Right.
- 1:35:39Yeah, I agree. I wish that was Revisited
- 1:35:41because I was like, one of my favorite scenes until you find
- 1:35:43out that it was his chief prosecutor.
- 1:35:45Here's caressing. But I was like, how are we going
- 1:35:47to like, go back to that? Are you gonna talk to her about
- 1:35:49that? Yeah, like okay, no.
- 1:35:51All right. It's kind of messy, it's kind of
- 1:35:54messy. Because she's like, I don't.
- 1:35:56What do you mean? And she doesn't wear the You
- 1:35:58know, the stuff and she's like, they don't go back to.
- 1:36:01Yes, she was there and yes, it was real.
- 1:36:03He wasn't like hallucinating after the surgery, right?
- 1:36:08See you tomorrow. So I still thought he was
- 1:36:11hallucinating, until we just talked it out.
- 1:36:14I was just like, oh, but like, but honestly like that's valid
- 1:36:21though because like it got like that's one of my clams too.
- 1:36:23Because of the things got confusing.
- 1:36:25A lot of the time and you're just kind of like Even know
- 1:36:28what's real? It's like Inception.
- 1:36:29Like he's like, I don't know what's happening, I don't know
- 1:36:31what's a dream. I don't know what happened and
- 1:36:34like, it's it kind of, kind of, kind of became a lot to kind of
- 1:36:36keep track of. So, like I could understand that
- 1:36:39because that scene was kind of confusing.
- 1:36:41Yeah. Okay.
- 1:36:43I have come to the end of my notes because I feel like if we
- 1:36:46will just continue bashing the show.
- 1:36:50Oh, no, man, it's just so much. Oh, last thing I'll say, Let me
- 1:36:56see if I can find it. The chicken guy who purposely
- 1:36:59killed his brother for the insurance money that was Kang
- 1:37:02Chi Yong from attorney Wu, who is now like a big heart throb
- 1:37:07now. Yeah.
- 1:37:09Oh that is him because I've been seeing his pictures around.
- 1:37:15Oh okay. Okay, that makes sense.
- 1:37:16Yeah. And I was like oh he's like a
- 1:37:18villain. He's one of these killers that
- 1:37:23he's Prosecuting and he like killed like The cats or
- 1:37:26something in the neighborhood. Like, you was like, running
- 1:37:28weird. It was weird.
- 1:37:31Did you like him as like playing a?
- 1:37:34Not a villain but I guess. Yeah.
- 1:37:35Like a villain character versus. He's usually like a sidekick
- 1:37:38character. Someone who's not necessarily
- 1:37:41good, not necessarily bad. Like I didn't attorney Wu.
- 1:37:44He's very sympathetic and people seem to really rally behind him.
- 1:37:46But in this one, he sleeps like a baby serial killer who's
- 1:37:50killing off siblings for insurance money.
- 1:37:52So two different people to me. Because and attorney Wu I was
- 1:37:57like he's so charismatic like habla and then yeah.
- 1:38:01And here, I don't even. Yeah.
- 1:38:03It was it could be two different people to me honestly.
- 1:38:06Yeah. I yeah, I think he was
- 1:38:08unrecognizable a little bit. Yeah.
- 1:38:12Oh man. Okay, I got a lot of off my
- 1:38:14chest. I feel like this is a venting
- 1:38:15session. I hope you guys felt the same
- 1:38:19way and that you don't regret watching this show.
- 1:38:23I don't regret watching. It was just not this, excellent
- 1:38:27drama. That I was led to believe, you
- 1:38:29know, right. Totally agree.
- 1:38:31I would agree with that statement.
- 1:38:32For sure, it's not terrible. I don't regret watching it.
- 1:38:34I wouldn't like tell people not to watch it.
- 1:38:37I just I was expect--. I had high expectations like
- 1:38:40This is like one of those like staple dramas at people, you
- 1:38:42know, like they say, it's their favorite and like it has
- 1:38:45generated so high. Yeah, like it's gonna be
- 1:38:47amazing. So then I watch it.
- 1:38:49I was like, okay. Hi little.
- 1:38:54Sorry for real. Look, at the whole time, I'm
- 1:38:55watching the show, like, I like follow the story.
- 1:38:58I'll be like, okay, like how would a person do you want?
- 1:39:00Like, how you feel with the show that she's this like, um, it's
- 1:39:03okay. And I'll just like, what's wrong
- 1:39:06with they're like, What's the problem?
- 1:39:06Is that this point? I still like liked it like me,
- 1:39:09like five episodes in In and she's just a slight, I don't
- 1:39:11know. Like, you'll just you'll look,
- 1:39:13let's talk after you're done with it.
- 1:39:15And then once I finish the show, I was like, I understand why she
- 1:39:17was just very well. I'm about it.
- 1:39:18Yeah, it's kind of all over the place but I kind of like this.
- 1:39:22Really how I felt about why her as well because like there's
- 1:39:25really good aspects to it. But there's also this like also
- 1:39:28what is going on here? So it's just like I liked it but
- 1:39:31I didn't like it and it's a great conflicted feeling that I
