- 0:07SPEAKER_00: All of a sudden it got this download.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: It was like hit record and you just hear me going on a riff for like 33 minutes about because I keep seeing this all the time.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: Things that are blocking you from your health, right?
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: So we dive into it.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: I am super blunt, super off the cuff.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: I go on a riff.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: You're gonna want to listen to this.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: It's it's it's really juicy.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: It's so good.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: So I hope you guys enjoy.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: And yeah, with that being said, you know what?
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Let's just dive right into it.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the Live Well Podcast.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: This podcast is designed to help you live well, body, mind, and soul.

- 0:51SPEAKER_00: If you are looking to live well, you are in the right place.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: A new episode starts now.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Alright, everyone, welcome back to a bonus episode of the Live Well podcast.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: I was so inspired to record today.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: I was like, I have to hit record.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: I thought about this, was it not?
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was on my walk and I was like, oh my god, I need to do a whole episode about the blocks that are getting in your way from getting healthy, from getting that dream health, that body you crave, etc.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Because I tend to see the same blocks over and over again.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: So we are going to be diving into that today.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, and everything that's really blocking you.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, I did write some points down, but I figure I'm probably just gonna go on a whole tangent and a whole riff in true in true live fashion.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Alright, so things that are getting in your way, blocking you from that dream health body exactly that you want.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Number one, you are under-eating.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Alright, guys, the 1200 calorie, 1300, I'm even going up to 1500 for most of you, is not enough food for your body, which is tanking your metabolism, making your body not feel safe, then we can't lose weight, we get hormone issues, and we get everything else.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: Um, because your body doesn't feel safe.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: And so what happens is it's like, oh shit, like Liv's not giving me enough food.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: I have to slow down my metabolism so that I because I don't know when I'm gonna get food next.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: And so that's why you might be eating the same and not losing weight.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: It's also gonna lead to increased cravings, make you store fat more, even without overeating, okay?
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: So once you've been under-eating for a long time, it's gonna increase your cravings.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: This is blocking you because now you want to eat the whole cupboard, right?
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: And you're going in 7 p.m.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: and suddenly you're eating all the popcorn chips, candy, cakes, cookies you can.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: And even if you are eating the exact same, okay, and your body does not feel safe.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: You're eating, you know, avocado, CD porridge, all like all even all of my recipes, you're still gonna be storing fat if you are not eating enough because your body doesn't feel safe, even if you're eating the good things, okay?
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: So a lot of people's relationship with food is messed up right now because our bodies are not feeling safe.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: So literally hold on to the weight, it holds on to all these things because it's stressed out.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: So when you're stressed, your body holds on to fat as an emergency resource, which can make weight loss, getting that dream health, you know, really feel impossible.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Not only that, but when we're under eating, it takes our metabolism, we get brain foggy, we get anxious, we get, you know, our blood sugar goes up and down, which is no wonder why you are snapping at your partner and like you know, that's affecting your relationship because your mood is all over the place because you're under-eating and you just want that pizza they're eating, right?
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Because you're so deprived and you're so restricted.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Whereas if you were nourishing your body properly, this wouldn't be happening.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: So you need to teach your body that it is safe, and you need to teach your body that it's okay to finally burn fat for fuel.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: This is so, so important, okay?
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Otherwise, you're gonna continue to destroy your gut, you're gonna continue to mess up your hormones, your mood is gonna continue to be off, which means you're like weepy and angry inside and everything like that.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Your brain is going to be foggy, your relationship is gonna suffer, your cortisol is gonna spike, and your libido is going to be in the toilet.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: So the whole thing, like you're trying to, you know, under-at and eat 1200 and work out and you know, do life and have like a job and like have your brain function, but also feel good with your partner and feel sexy in the bedroom, that's not gonna happen when you are undereating.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: So that is like block numero uno, and honestly, if I am passionate, if I were to say one thing, I I'm passionate about a lot of stuff, guys.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: But like one of our top three, top three are women who are undernourishing their bodies and not eating up, which is literally why I created well-nourished is to solve this problem.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: Because you're not meant to be living in restriction, to be feeling deprived, you know, to be living for the weekend or anything like that.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Like, living healthy, eating well is easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Like, you you can have that dream health if you nourish your body properly.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: Your body wants to feel safe, it wants to feel nourished so that it can let go of the weight, start making hormones, balance out your mood, give yourself a good libido, and all of that stuff, okay.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: The next block is you are not doing the emotional work.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: Uh, again, I see this.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: I see this like daily in the DMs.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: And I just want to be like, I want to shake them and be like, you're not doing the emotional work.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: And they come to me, they're like, okay, I'm gluten-free, dairy-free, maybe I've been paleo, I'm eating right, I move my body, etc., but it's not working, it's not sticking, etc.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: And it's because you are not doing the emotional work, okay?
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: You can eat the cleanest diet there is.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Take all the supplements, but if you're not doing the emotional work, you will never have the health and the body that you want.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: This is so important because so many emotions are stored in our physical health, okay?
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: We've got fear, sadness, anger, self-criticism, people pleasing, guilt, shame.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: All of this is literally tied to your it's tied to acne, psoriasis, eczema, IBS, IVD, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, weight loss, brain fog, what did I not mention?
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: I mean, like, it's tied to everything anxiety, everything like that.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: But especially the emotions that I mentioned, they're tied to your gut health, right?
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: So if you don't have your gut health, we all know you have shit.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: Like, if you don't have gut health, you don't have anything.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Then your body's also not feeling safe because you have unresolved trauma and unresolved emotional work because of the stuff that happened when you were younger or in high school, you know, and you haven't released that yet.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: So that's storing in your body.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Plus, we're not nourishing your body properly, and we're getting all these, like, do you see how all of this is kind of like compounding?
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: I I told you guys, I told you guys this episode was gonna be a riff on me because I just I want you to be unblocked, okay?
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Like, I see this all the time, and instead of like saying this to every person in the DMs 50 times a day, I'm just gonna copy and paste this podcast episode so that you can hear it and you can know that like you need to do the emotional work, okay?
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: You need to start, well, A, you can start doing the emotional work by meditating.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: B, you need to work with someone like me or like someone who does what I do to unpack and release it for you because you cannot expect you to be able to release your own like childhood trauma and like childhood shit that's like causing, you know, guilt, shame, or this around food, or etc.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna give like I'm gonna think of an example.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Okay, so you could be holding like guilt from you know your mom telling you not to eat something or your parents telling you that like you were overweight or fat, or you could have shame from something like a partner said to you in a romantic relationship that made you not feel comfortable in your body.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: You could also be people pleasing, so like your need to people please is 100% tied to your gut health, which is tied to your weight, which is tied to all your health, but your people pleasing need comes from the fact that you didn't get enough love and you're not giving yourself enough love.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: So you need to release that need to people please because again, no amount of people pleasing is ever gonna make you feel good until you give it to yourself.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: So you need to heal that wound.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: So, do you see how like all of these wounds are going to do that?
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: And then, you know, in all of these scenarios, you're not feeling safe because you feel the need to people please because you don't feel safe enough in your power, in your truth as yourself in your body that you need to go out and please people.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: So, does that make sense?
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Um, also things coming up like we do this in Well Nourish, we we release all of this stuff in the live calls, but I'm trying to think of other things people brought to the live calls.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: Oh, candida we solved from emotional work, bloating, constipation, gut health, we solved all of that.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Um, also shame around like if your family's on eating healthy or them judging you for their choices, or you like not sticking to it because you are shamed into sticking to it by your family, like all of this stuff.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: You need to do the emotional work, which leads me into the next block.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: Your mindset, okay, whatever.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: This is not this isn't an explicit podcast.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: Your mindset is fucked.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna be completely honest.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: Like, you don't have to choose between eating healthy and being satisfied and feeling good in your body and actually enjoying what you eat.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Suddenly people are like, oh, like it's either I eat chicken and boiled chicken and vegetables and get the results I want and have like a long, lean body and feel good, or I get to eat like burgers and pizza and all that.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: And like, you don't have to choose.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: This drives me bananas.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: Why is there a notion that like healthy food can't be soul food or comforting food?
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Your soul wants food that nourishes it, that does the body good.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: And it is safe to say that you can really make anything with ingredients that are good for you.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: If you've seen my recipes, you know I make Pop Tarts, Snicker bars, Risa cereal, soft pretzels, cookies, cakes, pizza, burgers, all of that.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: Having the mindset that they are two separate things is so detrimental, and you are self-sabotaging and setting yourself up for failure.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: You don't have to choose.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: You can have the best of both worlds, you can have nourishing food that is healthy, comforting, and delicious, and all of that.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: You know, another mindset one that we actually go over this in the I think it's call one or call two of Well Nourished.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: If you guys sign up to do well nourished, we go through the obstacles and I get you guys to bring these mindset things, and that way I release them for you and I reprogram them for you.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: Um, because like you can hear all this on the podcast, but unless you like do the deep work with me, it's probably not gonna stick.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: But you know, eating healthy is expensive.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: Hell no.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: Like, yes, there are amazing collagen powders and you know, fancy, you know, wellness lattes and all that stuff.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: But guys, eating healthy is just sticking, like, stick to the primer of the grocery store, you know, sweet potatoes, wild caught fish and grass-fed beef, you know, like spinach, all that stuff.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: You don't all those other like powders and specialty stuff is like bonus, right?
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: Like it doesn't have to be, you know, expensive.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: Another one, like, oh, eating healthy is um takes too much time.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Like, no, that's like something you need to reprogram.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: So your mindset is basically just messed up, and what you need to do is you need to go and fix your mindset.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: That's also why it's probably never stuck before.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: So whenever people tell me, oh, I've done everything, but it's never stuck, it's because they didn't do the rope reprogramming from their beliefs, and they basically let their mindset mess them up and sabotage them, right?
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: Another one, another block that's getting in your way is you are stressed out and you are not dealing with your stress, okay?
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: Cortisol is your stress hormone.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: You can eat again.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: This is another example of how you can eat the cleanest, purest, most perfect diet.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: You can take adapens all day long, but if you're not managing stress, you are still going to struggle.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: Chronic high stress slows your metabolism, increases cravings, and makes you gain weight, okay?
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: So when you're stressed out, your body's gonna hold on to this.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: You need to start managing this stress so that you finally feel okay to use your fat food fuel so that you feel calm, so that you're not as anxious, so that life actually gets to feel delicious.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: Like life as because it's mainly females listening to this, your feminine wants to thrive, okay?
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: Your feminine wants to feel delicious and comforting and satisfied and flowy and good in her body, and be like, when you walk by a mirror naked, you are like, hell yes, that is me.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: I am amazing.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: I am Nicki Minaj feeling myself.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: I always use this example with my clients.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: I always ask them to uh to rate their scale, like their self-love on a scale of one to Nicki Minaj feeling yourself, and that's like how we weigh it.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: So funny.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, you need to start managing cortisol because otherwise everything else is not going to matter, okay?
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: Another block.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: You are doing it alone.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: You are trying to Google stuff for the umpteenth time.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: And I'm just gonna ask you, like, has Googling worked for you this far?
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: Has has this freebie worked for you so far?
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: Has the this like free meal plan worked for you so far?
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: Like, no, because you're doing it alone.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: You need to start doing it with a community and in a container where you are safe to do it, but also so that you can get some expertise into the obstacles that you're facing, right?
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Because if you're doing it alone and then something comes up and you don't know how to fix it and you don't know how to handle it, well then what's gonna happen?
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: Well, then it's not gonna get solved.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: And you might you might try googling things and you might try this thing and it might make it worse or no change, and then you're not still getting the results because you're trying to do it on your own and trying to fix it when unless you've you know gone to four years of med school, you're not gonna know how to fix it, right?
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: Or you're not gonna know why that obstacle is coming up and you're not gonna know how to reprogram it or to release it on your own, okay?
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: So that is a huge block.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: It's like you're trying to do it alone, and you're also trying to like use Google slash so-and-so's freebie or so-and-so's like seven-day free meal plan.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: No, like you need to start doing it with a group in a safe container.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: That is why in Well Nourished is all of us doing it together, and you have my expertise.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: We have that one-on-one session with me, plus, you get the me for eight weeks in the live calls.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: Like, literally, people come every single week, and I'm like, How are you doing?
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: What came up for you this week?
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Then we fix it on the live polls, and they're like, Oh, okay, it fixed it, and now they know, all right?
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: That's the key.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: You need someone who's like holding your hand along the way, and someone who's going to know how to fix it, like wham bam, thank you, ma'am.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, okay, do this, this, this, and it's gone, versus trying to do it through Dr.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: Google.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: Okay, that's why it's never worked.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: That's what's blocking you.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: You need to stop trying to do it alone.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: Alright, the next block.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, guys, before I get into the next block, I just put some eggplant parm.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: I told you this, guys.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: This is like a true, this is Olivia from the heart.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I don't I don't normally call myself Olivia.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: That was interesting.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: Um, there's eggplant parm in the oven right now that I'm cooking, and it's starting to smell delicious.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: It's literally making me hungry as I record this episode.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: Anyways, okay, so the next block in terms of why you are not healthy yet or why you're still pining for that health that you want and crave and dream of, is you are not feeling worthy.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: You can want something, you can want it from the depths of your soul.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: That does not mean that you feel worthy of having it.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: I see this so many times.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Like you want it, you want it.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Also, wanting something that you don't currently have implies lack.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: Lack is scarcity.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: The mindset that's also why, okay, I'm gonna write that down.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: Let me let me go on to that.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: Scarcity, lack, that's another block.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: Well, we're gonna we're gonna put them together, but I want to make sure that I touch on that, so I just drop that down.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: You are not feeling worthy of the health in the body that you deserve.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Normally, because of low self-worth and low self-esteem, but the problem is is that unless you start to do the emotional work, you're gonna be stuck like that and you're not gonna be feeling worthy.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: It's like, oh, I see, okay, I can't think of anyone that I because I don't have a toxic social media, but like, uh, like I see Renee, and she's got this body on Instagram, and like, oh, I wish I could have that, but that's never gonna be me, and I can't do that, like, it's not possible for me, and all this, like, oh, like not feeling worthy, and it breaks my heart because guys, like, it is you were A so worthy, but B, it is so possible for you.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: Like, I am not special.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: The people who've been through well nourished, like, like they're special, and like where it's like, yeah, every human's special, you guys know I mean, but they're not special in the terms of like because it works for them, it's not gonna work for you.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: Like, no, that's not how it is.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: Like, everybody is it's possible for everybody to feel healthy, to feel good in their body, to have the health and body that they want, that they crave.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: When people try to tell me, like, oh, I'm just not meant to, it's not possible.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: It's just because you don't feel worthy of that health and that body you want.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: You need to start unblocking yourself.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: We need to start, you know, raising your worth, raising your self-esteem, working on self-love and doing all that stuff so that you actually feel worthy of receiving it.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Because otherwise, you are going to self-sabotage.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: You anytime you start to get results, you're gonna be like, oh no, no, this is not possible.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm not worthy, and then you're gonna be like on a yo-yo.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I also see this with yo-yo wings, so they're like up and down, like, oh, I lose weight, but then I gain it, but then I lose it and then I gain it, or like I was feeling good, but then I don't fought feeling good again, and then up and down and up and down, like, uh no, let's unblock this worthiness.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: But you need to get to the root cause.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: You guys know me.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: I love getting to the root cause.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: We need to get to the root cause of why are you not feeling worthy in the first place?
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: Was it your parents who told you?
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: Did a partner tell you?
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Did a friend tell you?
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Did were you bullied in school, and that's why you don't feel worthy?
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: You need to get to the root cause and do all that inner child work to feel figure out why you are not worthy.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: Now, not we feeling worthy can go through all different areas of your life, but if you're not feeling worthy, that will also trickle into all the different areas of your life.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: For example, the thing that made you not feel worthy may not have done, may not have had to do with the health or your body.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: It could be like, I'm just gonna give you a personal example because uh I try not to divulge my clients, like I don't wanna, yeah, divulge client stuff from other well-nourished.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: But for example, my mom, and I've told this story, I think, to some of my one-on-one clients, and I think in well nourished, but like when I was, I think it was nine or ten.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: I never know if it was nine or ten, but one of those ages, I came home with a science test and I got in a 98%.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: And my mom literally asked me what happened to the other two percent.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: That's what she said.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: And I see this memory very clearly in my mind.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: I see the bathroom where she was, I see what she was wearing, I see the products that are on the bathroom shelf, I see what I was wearing, I see everything in this moment, and it is burned into my mind.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: And it was that moment that made me not feel worthy because like I had tried my best and I was so so proud.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: And I ran to my mom being so proud of this test, and like nothing against her.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: She just wanted me to push and do better, etc.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: I you know, I've released and healed this, but that made me feel like not worthy, so then I had to go and like heal that.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: So there's like so much.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: This is an example of like how that wasn't about health and body, but when you don't feel worthy as a person, it trickles into relationships, you know, attracting the right partner.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: This also goes into like why you've never had a successful relationship, you know, the body you want, the health you want, etc.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: You need to start feeling worthy.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: Also, let's go into the scarcity lack mindset.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: I want or I don't have like oh, you know, affirming like I am so bloated, or affirming that like I I'm never gonna get healthy, I'm not gonna do this.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: It's such a scarcity lack mindset.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: Your thoughts become your reality.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: But until you get and reprogram those thoughts, that scarcity lack mindset is what you're declaring to the universe.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: So that that's what is.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: And you're like, oh, it's so hard, nothing's ever gonna change.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: Like, oh my god, no, honey.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: No, this is so easily like solvable, you just need to reprogram it and stop with the scarcity lack mindset because it's blocking you.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: The universe wants to give you everything.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: The universe wants you to feel magnetic and delicious and hot in your body and eat delicious food that, like, when I eat my meals, your meals should basically like turn you on.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: We had this, we did this whole mindful eating um exercise and well-nourished for our last call over so much time.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: But basically, like your life should turn you on, your food should turn you on.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: If you're living in that unworthy scarcity mindset, that's not gonna happen.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Alright, so the next block is your hormones are fucked.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: Oh, what's that knocking?
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: Kashi! Woo! Come here, boo-boo.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: I always knock to get her to go away from things.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: I know I should say off, but I wasn't sure what she was off on.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: Settle down, boo-boo.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Mommy's almost done.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: I know it's very hot in here because the oven's on, but we're recording a podcast today, though.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: Your hormones are messed up.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: So, when our hormones are messed up, that's gonna make everything else feel impossible because you're like fighting, I'm gonna say an uphill battle, but it's even worse than that.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: It's like it's like trying to swim upstream against the current when your hormones are messed up.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: So there's ghrelin, which is your hunger hormone, leptin, which is which is your satiating hormone.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: If you are not sleeping well, if you are stressed, if you are using toxic, if your hormones are out of whack, these things are gonna be upregulated or downregulated like falsely.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: So, for example, your ghrelin can be higher than it should be, making you more hungry even though your body doesn't need more food, and your leptin goes down, making you not feel as satisfied, meaning you need to inhale the whole cupboard and eat everything in sight, even though your body doesn't nutritionally need that.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: So you need to balance out both your ghrelin and leptin, but you also need to balance estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, and all of these things, because if they're not balanced, no mat you could be eating the cleanest diet, but you're still gonna be eating cravings, and maybe you're not sleeping well, and your gut health is all off, and your PMS is off, or well, not PMS off, you're getting PMS, you're getting cramping, bloating, all of this garbage stuff that you're not supposed to be getting because PMS is not normal, because your hormones are messed up, and if you don't fix those targetedly, then this is gonna block you from getting that health because you're fighting like you're treading that water against the upstream.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: Does that make sense?
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: So you need to figure out.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Um, I did record a podcast episode all about.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Ooh, also about leptin resistance and insulin resistance.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: Remember, guys, insulin is the fat storage hormone.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: If you are insulin resistant, you know, because you've been eating lots of oatmeal, oat milk, and sugary things and all that, and grains, then insulin is gonna be spiked and you're gonna store fat, etc., and that's gonna block you.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: So you think you're doing the right thing by like having a bowl of oatmeal with a whole banana on it, but you don't realize that that's messing up your hormones.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: Anyways, go back and listen to my hormone episode because I break down, I also break down thyroid in in there.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: Um, and if your thyroid's off, that's also gonna be messing you up, like weight-wise, health-wise, because like your thyroid's low, probably because you've been eating gluten, and then like your gut health is off and you're constipated and you're not losing weight, and when you're constipated, you also reabsorb estrogen, then we get estrogen dominance and PMS.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: Like, guys, it's all a whole big mess, right?
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: So that's another thing that's blocking you.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: Guys need to fix your hormones.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: Um, and if you need help with this, my one-on-one is full right now.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: Um, if you're listening to this at the end of mid-March 2021, it's full.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: If you're listening to this after March, um, send me a DM.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: We can get you into one-on-one, possibly.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: I might have a spot, but also well nourished.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: Like you have a one-on-one session with me where we can fix your hormones and then um so do that.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: So you need to make sure that your hormones are in check because hormones control everything, hormones even control your relationships, guys, right?
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: So the next thing that's blocking you is a fear of success.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: I know what you're thinking.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: Wait, what?
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: Yes, fear of success.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: Why would you fear achieving and getting that health and body that you dream of, that you crave of, that you envision and want so badly?
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: It's surprisingly common.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: I I work with this on pretty much every single person, right?
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: So, some people aren't ready to get that health because of the unspoken fear of success.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: For years, they've found their identity in not having that.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: They mistake their weight or their health, you know, for who they truly are.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: And an uncomfortable or unpleasant familiarity can actually be less scary than that awesome unfamiliarity.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: So, this is why I always explain it like it's the fear that can make the success of healthy changes seem daunting and scary.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: Like, who would you be if you had that dream health?
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: If you don't, if you don't know that answer of who you would be if you had that dream body, that healthy crave, then you actually might fear the answer, and this is probably a block for you.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: I've seen many people feel that others would reject them, um, that they wouldn't be able to relate to their friends, that people would think of them in a different way.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: But also, you know, you're only upgrading the container with what is your body, and you're like training for a healthy life so that you can live it to its fullest.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: And you need to start realizing that, like, while it can be uncomfortable, you have to allow your body to feel safe in the uncomfortable because what happens is your ego, your ego wants to keep you safe, right?
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: So let's say hypothetically, because I don't get bloated anymore because we solve that.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: Let's say I was bloated all the time.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: Okay, I bloated all the time, I've got some gut health issues, and whatever.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: I joined Well Nourished and I start to see results, but then oh no.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Like I'm starting to self-sabotage, and like I don't see them anymore, right?
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: And then we work through this and we do that because your ego wants to keep you safe.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: It's like, whoa, whoa, guys, we're not used to actually not feeling bloated.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: We're not used to feeling amazing and delicious and hot and like just feeling good in our bodies.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: This is whoa, guys, this is new.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: We don't like this.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: This is uncomfortable.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, we we have to go back to the original.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: Okay, bloating is more comfortable.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: We're used to this, this is familiar, so let's go back to being bloated.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: This happens all the time, right?
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: Because it wants to keep you safe.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: And it is more comfortable for your body right now to be bloated, miserable, maybe holding on to weight, whatever your the health struggle is that's that's like blocking you or whatever you know you want to happen.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: It's more comfortable for you to stay like that than to actually change and to have all that you dreamed of.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: It's kind of like also waiting for the shoe to drop, kind of a similar mentality, like it's waiting, it's waiting, and it wants to keep you comfortable, right?
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: So you have to teach your body, you have to unblock yourself and let it know that hey, it is safe to change, it is safe for me to feel amazing.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: It's crazy, but guys, this happens all the time.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: Another thing that's like blocking you is like fear of responsibility.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: So this is one um that's kind of can be depilidating to confront because people are terrified of fully recognizing that like every bit that they eat or don't eat directly contributes to their health state.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: You know, it's much easier to pop a pill, ignore symptoms, you know, hang a hat on genetics.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: Jesus, if I hear one person like try to tell me, well, A, you can turn your genes on and off, but B, like, no, genetics, that's not an excuse.
- 26:55SPEAKER_00: Well, like, that's an excuse people use, but it's not an excuse.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: Like, or believe that nothing can be done about it, whatever it is, there is a better way to live.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: And the fact is, everything you eat will either contribute to, you know, creation or destruction of your health.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: Are you choosing to feed disease or destroy it?
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: Are you eating as if your life depended on it?
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: Because it does.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: The foods you eat turn on and turn off genes and code for disease and chronic conditions that can compromise your quality of life drastically.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: Um, so like the only thing you really have to fear is fear itself.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: And so for your life and health, there's like you need to take responsibility that, like, instead of being like, oh no, I've just been this way my whole life, oh my mom is this way, oh, but runs in my family, oh, it's my genes, oh, nothing's gonna work.
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: Like, no, I've seen people who have waited too long to reclaim their health and start feeling good in their bodies, and the sooner you start, the easier it will be.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: So, like, why not today?
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: And if you aren't sure what to do first, like I said, definitely get into well-nourished because this will help you out with that.
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: But you have to start taking responsibility that like your health, you are responsible for your health.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: The way you feel in your body is a thousand percent up to you.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: It is a thousand percent up to you.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: Yes, other people can like cause damage in terms of like making you have emotional beliefs or triggers or like that, but it's up to you to heal them.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: Like, and you can't heal them.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: There's like there's nothing you cannot heal or heal from, right?
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: But you need to take responsibility, and if you are deflecting and pretending like it's not your responsibility, this is definitely going to block you.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: Sorry guys, I had to open the window.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: It is so hot in here.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tank top and get.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: I'm still sweating.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: Um, okay.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: So the other thing I've talked about a lot of blocks, but I want to talk about kind of one more block.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: Is that, well, it kind of goes into the worthiness thing.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: You are not willing to spend the money on your health because you don't value your health.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: If you do not have your health, you have nothing, right?
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: Remember, your health affects your relationships.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: It affects, you know, whether the fact you're moody and snapping at your partner, it affects, you know, your fertility, it affects how you show up in your job.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: You know, I can't.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: I remember when I had um one of my clients, because we worked on her self-worth, and she came back to me, she's like, I got a$35,000 raise because I now feel worthy of myself because of you.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: And I was like, whoa.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: You need you need to feel worthy and value your health enough to put that first.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: So that means also if you're not putting your health first and you're putting it in front of other people, being like, I don't have time because I have kids or I have a puppy or I have this, but you're not showing up for them as much as you could.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: You cannot pour from an empty cup.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: You need to value yourself first because it's only when you feel your best that you're actually able to help others.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: You're actually able to run around with your kids because you have the energy, you're actually able to be intimate with your partner and have an amazing sex life because you aren't self-criticizing your body and wondering about if he's looking at the cellulite on your butt.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: You know, all of these things, you need to value your health first, and you're not willing to put the investment in there and you're hoping that you're gonna get results for free.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, this is not gonna happen.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: And like, while I'm very like, I know you guys, you know, love my podcasts, my videos, and you guys get so much transformation from that, but if that's the amount of transformation that you get from my free content, can you imagine what you would get if you actually were in my energy and got to work with me?
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: If you actually, you know, did the the deeper work with me, whether it's well-nourished or one-on-one?
- 30:27SPEAKER_00: Like, if I was I like to give this example.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: If this was like your best friend, your partner, or your daughter, and they were feeling as shitty as you feel, and they were like thinking about you know that that health that they want, and they would you spend the money on them?
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, if it was your daughter, I'd be like, of course, sweetheart, like we're gonna do this because I want you to feel amazing.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: Okay, but why don't you want you to feel that amazing, right?
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: And it again comes down to the block of like you're not feeling worthy enough and valuing your health enough to put that first, and you don't realize that that is going to trickle into every part of your life.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: Like I said, your work, your relationships, friendships, kids, how you feel about yourself, etc.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: Okay, deep investment gets you deep results, right?
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: If you could do it on your own, if you could do it from all of that stuff, then well, people like me wouldn't have a job, right?
- 31:18SPEAKER_00: And that's why you need to start unblocking yourself for like, okay, why, why am I feeling resistant to this?
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna give you, I'm gonna give you a similar example.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna use a personal one.
- 31:30SPEAKER_00: Um, there was like, I think I was in, I was in, I forget what year med school.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: Okay, I was maybe second, third year, I don't know.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: So obviously, like I'm trying to run a business, I'm trying to like do YouTube, pay tuition, everything, and like I didn't want to, I was like, oh, I don't want to invest in my health.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: I'm I kept trying to like solve it myself.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: And I can't tell you how much like I had wished that I had paid someone so much sooner to fix my health.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: Well, also because like I was only in second year, so I didn't know everything then.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: Um, but how much I wish I had just paid someone and like it comes back tenfold.
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: Like, you need to start remembering that anything you spend comes back tenfold.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: But also, if I were to ask you, what price tag would you put on eliminating all your symptoms?
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: If I were to tell you, okay, you are no longer bloated, your gut health is amazing.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: You wait, you have poop perfection.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: If you guys don't know about poop perfection, go back and listen to the episode.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: Amazing bowel move, it's every day.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: Snake shaped milk chocolate, complete relief.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: You feel sexy in the bedroom, you're magnetic to your partner, your love life, your libido is like on fire.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: Your fertility is amazing, you're not stressed out.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: You walk by a mirror and you feel so delicious in your body and in your life.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: You don't have PMS anymore.
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: It's actually like the only reason you know your cycle's coming is because it's regular, but you don't get PMS or headaches or any of that or moot swings that make you snap in your partner.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: All that's gone.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: How much is that worth to you?
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna ask you.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: And I bet you it's a hell of a lot more than the cost of working with someone like me or well nourished.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: And I'm just gonna be completely blunt with you guys because I see all these blocks all the time and I need you to hear it.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what value would you put on that?
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's uh it's priceless.
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: But like it's definitely more than that.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I mean?
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: That's also why I opened up early enrollment now.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: For those of you who like need to pay it off over a smaller amount, you get to pay it off over four months instead of two.
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: So, like, if that completely takes care of it, you basically have no excuse.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: But also, the universe wants to support you.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: The universe wants to give you that health body, everything you dreamed of.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: I can't tell you how many people have invested in well nourish and then like are working with me one-on-one, and then like I said, got a promotion or got this, or like money just came in to support them, or like their health health is transformed, and because their health is transformed, then they then like attract more and magnetize more into their life, right?
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: Because you need health in all aspects of your body, right?
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: It's not just physical health, it's physical health, mindset health, emotional health, all of this kind of health.
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: You need all the kinds of health.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: So you need to value that and realize okay, if I can stop self-prescribing supplements because you know, so and so said to take vitex and I'm throwing that at my hormones, Jesus Christ.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: If there's one thing I need to end, is like the TikTok trend of throwing vitex on your hormones and like hoping for the best, or like googling this or buying this meal plan, you know, you know, for$40 or this, whatever, and it doesn't stick, it's because you need to do the deep emotional work and then you have the tools for life, right?
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: Keep that in mind.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: When you do well-nourished, you have the tools for life.
- 34:41SPEAKER_00: So I went on a tangent now for 33 minutes.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: Angel numbers, 33 minutes, um about all the things that are probably blocking you from your house.
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: I'm going to leave well-nourished again in the description box.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: If this resonated with you and you're like, holy shit, Liv, thank you for calling me out.
- 34:59SPEAKER_00: Thank you for making me realize all these blocks that I have, I need to help, I need to change them.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: DM me, we'll either get you to well nourished or we'll get you into one-on-one, depending what is a fit for you.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: Because honestly, it is my it is my true passion.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: Like nothing lights me up more in life than than getting people to feel good in their bodies to heal them.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's no there's a reason why I've been doing this for many, many lifetimes, right?
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: So I'm hungry.
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go eat my head climate hard.
- 35:31SPEAKER_00: I hope you guys enjoyed this episode.
- 35:33SPEAKER_00: Um like I said, any questions, let me know.
- 35:36SPEAKER_00: And yeah, I will see you guys in the next episode.
