- 0:06Speaker 1: Hello, my gorgeous angel faces. It is Lala Kent. Welcome
- 0:09Speaker 1: to the bonus episode of Give Them a La Podcast.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Hello Easton. Okay, I wrote in to the IG for
- 0:18Speaker 1: the post for the bonus, and I just said, I
- 0:21Speaker 1: want to talk about it. All the holidays are upon us,
- 0:24Speaker 1: Christmas is coming. What's stressing you out? What are you
- 0:26Speaker 1: listening to? What are you thinking about? And we got
- 0:30Speaker 1: a plethora, a plethora of incredible, incredible things to talk about.
- 0:36Speaker 1: What is the one thing that stresses you out the most?
- 0:38Speaker 1: Easton about the holidays?
- 0:41Speaker 2: Honestly nothing?
- 0:42Speaker 1: I love that answer.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't really get because we don't do gifts.
- 0:46Speaker 3: I think we are this year though, right, but that's
- 0:48Speaker 3: still not stress. I'm just gonna get you guys a
- 0:49Speaker 3: couple of gifts, but I don't.
- 0:51Speaker 2: There's no stress of well are we doing gifts now?
- 0:54Speaker 1: Mom wanted to draw names, and I'm like, there's three
- 0:56Speaker 1: of us. Mom, let's just get one extra GIF. If
- 0:59Speaker 1: you're gonna get one for me, just get one for Easton.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Or if I draw your name, like, what's one extra?
- 1:03Speaker 3: Yeah you got a big deal but easy, but yeah,
- 1:07Speaker 3: no no stress, I think because it's everything's just so
- 1:10Speaker 3: easy and planned out, like I know so too. We
- 1:13Speaker 3: talked about it on the other jam Packed even though
- 1:15Speaker 3: we don't like it, but it I kind of like
- 1:18Speaker 3: that OHI is coming up, and then after OHI we
- 1:20Speaker 3: go to Palm Spring, so it's like there's I know
- 1:24Speaker 3: everything that's gonna happen, so there's no stress. So I
- 1:26Speaker 3: guess that's kind of been it. No money stress, yeah,
- 1:29Speaker 3: no money's stress for gifts, that's great.
- 1:32Speaker 2: The only thing I miss is just some snow.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Some snow.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Yeah, Like coming from Hawaii and then getting here it's
- 1:38Speaker 3: it's snow.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Yeah. I agree. It's so funny because when you live
- 1:43Speaker 1: in Utah and it's snow and you're like watching movies
- 1:45Speaker 1: that take place and you're like, wow, California sounds so warm.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I wish we were spending it there, and then you
- 1:52Speaker 1: get here and you're like snow. But that goes back to,
- 1:56Speaker 1: like you just we want what we don't have in
- 1:59Speaker 1: the moment, and I think that's something that a lot
- 2:01Speaker 1: of people, except for my mother, could work on, because
- 2:03Speaker 1: she seems to just be comfortable and content at all time.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Look at her, you look beautiful.
- 2:09Speaker 1: She is just mentally always in Hawaii no, she really is.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I don't. I'm not really stressed this yesterday.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Can we just talk about one thing?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Always?
- 2:18Speaker 3: She looks at the both of us, and she goes,
- 2:20Speaker 3: I forgot my norse Strom's credit card. Why, she goes,
- 2:24Speaker 3: I had Uno cards and I was putting them away
- 2:27Speaker 3: with the credit card and I just put it into
- 2:29Speaker 3: the Uno box and.
- 2:30Speaker 2: She goes, whatever, and she just starts hulaying again. And
- 2:34Speaker 2: this was yesterday.
- 2:37Speaker 4: I remember that I had the credit card in my
- 2:40Speaker 4: hand when I was picking up the beach house, and
- 2:43Speaker 4: I made a mental note, I better not lose this,
- 2:46Speaker 4: and sure enough I stuck it in the Uno box
- 2:50Speaker 4: and put it.
- 2:50Speaker 5: In the cabinet.
- 2:52Speaker 2: It'll be there next year.
- 2:53Speaker 5: Yeah, so I did call and get a new one.
- 2:55Speaker 5: I love that for you.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I know, you look so comfortable. I find it weird
- 3:01Speaker 1: when when you're like set to be on the podcast.
- 3:05Speaker 5: It's the visual. I think. When there's no cameras on me.
- 3:09Speaker 2: You're comfortable.
- 3:09Speaker 5: I'm chill.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Should just be a camera on you.
- 3:13Speaker 4: I know I'm scarred from eighth grade. We talked about
- 3:17Speaker 4: that already, about well, let's.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Not turn this into a therapy. We're not here to
- 3:21Speaker 1: cure your eighth grade traumas. Moving on, just kidding, we
- 3:25Speaker 1: can talk about it.
- 3:26Speaker 2: You're here, What is your.
- 3:28Speaker 1: What's your biggest stressor?
- 3:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't have one.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Why am I not shocked by that?
- 3:34Speaker 5: I don't know. I live in the moment. I don't.
- 3:37Speaker 5: I don't look at ahead. Just chilling, that's just chill.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Even when it comes to buying Christmas gifts, you don't
- 3:43Speaker 2: think ahead. You just kind of if you're at the story,
- 3:46Speaker 2: no plan.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Getting my daughter already know, want to give my son.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I don't have a lot of presents to buy for
- 3:52Speaker 4: and I'm so excited to give Ocean her present, talking
- 3:57Speaker 4: about it for days.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Well, we both want to state claim on this gift.
- 4:01Speaker 1: And then Santa wrote me a letter and he also
- 4:04Speaker 1: wants to state claim on the gift. And I think
- 4:06Speaker 1: he might bring it.
- 4:07Speaker 4: To you, yep, And I can't wait to reveal it
- 4:11Speaker 4: after the holiday. Yeah, it's gonna because it's it's going
- 4:14Speaker 4: to be a game changer.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah it is. We love to think about gifts and
- 4:18Speaker 1: go which one's going to be a learning experience as well?
- 4:21Speaker 2: Which one is going to keep this room clean?
- 4:24Speaker 1: All right? So this person wrote in and said I
- 4:27Speaker 1: often think about if this will be my last Christmas
- 4:30Speaker 1: with someone and I don't know it. We've spoken about
- 4:33Speaker 1: that before.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I wish you wouldn't have read that.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Sorry you have issues with time?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Oh have?
- 4:38Speaker 5: You can totally relate.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I may have to be medicated for
- 4:41Speaker 1: that point.
- 4:42Speaker 3: You really do. But there was something and it was
- 4:44Speaker 3: like if you're it was like my age. I don't
- 4:47Speaker 3: know how it knows for you page, but it was like,
- 4:49Speaker 3: you only have like Mac sixty summers.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I was like, oh my god, that's.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Down that road.
- 4:58Speaker 4: I can't think about it even because I don't have
- 5:00Speaker 4: sixty summers left.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Oh god, stop all right, moving on, moving, moving on.
- 5:08Speaker 1: My oldest is thirteen, and for the first year his
- 5:10Speaker 1: Christmas list had zero toys. That would be hard. So
- 5:16Speaker 1: he wants electronics, probably electronics, clothes, close, shoes like Jordan's.
- 5:24Speaker 2: You know.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, Now I'm stressed.
- 5:28Speaker 2: This episode is going to crumble me.
- 5:30Speaker 1: No, can I tell you there are like Mom said,
- 5:33Speaker 1: I am funny about time, and even when you had
- 5:34Speaker 1: the scooteries and I was like, I'm having so much fun,
- 5:37Speaker 1: and I'm like, what if Eason doesn't come back on
- 5:38Speaker 1: a scooter? What if something really bad happens. Oh my gosh.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Then I'll never want to come back to Hawaii. Oh
- 5:43Speaker 1: my gosh, I'll never think about the holiday the same.
- 5:46Speaker 1: And then you're in a rabbit.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Oh.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I dig until I can't get on the old bottom.
- 5:52Speaker 1: That's when God steps in and I'm like God, And
- 5:55Speaker 1: then I think about it. I'm like, well, my dad
- 5:57Speaker 1: died and he seems to be fine.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I'm like, happier than all of us.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Yeah, he's cheering his song lass of Love.
- 6:05Speaker 1: He did love a good He never did phronsie bottles.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Yeah, later on in life, but he had his box
- 6:13Speaker 2: of phronsie. I don't know.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I like how you guys call it phronsie to make.
- 6:17Speaker 2: It a bit more.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Stress. Money after after paying anxiety, love lights and new
- 6:29Speaker 1: and old traditions. And she's listening to in sync Merry
- 6:33Speaker 1: Christmas and Happy Holidays on repeat. That is what is up.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I think that's one of my most favorite Christmas songs
- 6:39Speaker 1: is Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays. Just such a feel good song.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And I love because I love its you his love
- 6:48Speaker 1: and everything's okay. Merry Christmas Holidays, yes, girl. Money stresses
- 6:57Speaker 1: are a lot for everybody. Many people that wrote in
- 7:01Speaker 1: they're stressed about that, And that's where I encourage you
- 7:07Speaker 1: to talk to your family. There's no reason to give
- 7:13Speaker 1: gifts if you are stressed for money, plan a fun dinner.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You could literally do Postmates and like Lisa says, everything
- 7:20Speaker 1: costs money. You know, even if you want to save
- 7:22Speaker 1: money and you want to stay home, you got to
- 7:24Speaker 1: keep the lights on, you got to order food. I
- 7:26Speaker 1: totally get it, but you got to feed yourself and
- 7:28Speaker 1: keep the lights on. Anyway, don't add the extra part
- 7:31Speaker 1: of like a gift have something at your house.
- 7:34Speaker 4: But I don't think they're talking about that. I think
- 7:37Speaker 4: they're talking about the S A N T A.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Gifts Well that part as well. But that's why I'm saying,
- 7:44Speaker 1: don't do it for adults.
- 7:48Speaker 2: What do you.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Mean we don't get gifts for each other, but for her?
- 7:57Speaker 2: Yes?
- 7:57Speaker 1: Right, save save, save where you can absolutely and put
- 8:01Speaker 1: that money that you do have into something for your
- 8:05Speaker 1: children the kids.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Yeah, or have some fun traditional dinners and invite people over,
- 8:11Speaker 4: and that one to them.
- 8:14Speaker 3: I think I am not stressed because yes, we're doing gifts,
- 8:18Speaker 3: but it's like we've all talked about it, so I
- 8:21Speaker 3: feel like that's why I'm not stressed.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Well, there's three of us, hello, Yeah, and I just
- 8:27Speaker 1: find I remember, you know, back in the day when
- 8:32Speaker 1: Dad started having money troubles and Christmas and Holidays got
- 8:38Speaker 1: very very stressful, and I would put like my little
- 8:41Speaker 1: modeling money gig, the money that I made for modeling
- 8:44Speaker 1: gigs together and try to make it like a special
- 8:47Speaker 1: Christmas for my mom and for Easton and write Dad's name,
- 8:51Speaker 1: because Dad did go from being like the bread winner
- 8:55Speaker 1: to like really having nothing in two thousand and eight,
- 8:59Speaker 1: and people experience that. And I remember looking at the
- 9:03Speaker 1: holidays being like, I hate this. This is this was
- 9:05Speaker 1: like the best time of my whole life when I
- 9:07Speaker 1: was a kid, and now it's just pressure and stress.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Well, can I do you know what? I remember? You
- 9:12Speaker 5: came home from a modeling gig and they paid you
- 9:14Speaker 5: in cash.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Do you remember when you found it out and it
- 9:17Speaker 4: was like a couple of thousand dollars and you gave
- 9:20Speaker 4: each of us hundred bucks?
- 9:21Speaker 5: Oh?
- 9:22Speaker 2: I do remember? Really? Yeah? Wow?
- 9:24Speaker 3: I remember that you came out and you went you
- 9:26Speaker 3: had it like this, and you kept going like this,
- 9:28Speaker 3: and you go one for you, one for you, one
- 9:30Speaker 3: for you, and you're like, oh yeah, yeah.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I just find that as someone who has been through
- 9:40Speaker 1: not having money when I lived back in Utah, or
- 9:44Speaker 1: my dad not having money and then moving out to
- 9:46Speaker 1: LA and having to really be on a budget and
- 9:49Speaker 1: my you know, paying rent and paying bills and you
- 9:51Speaker 1: just didn't have a lot to then kind of getting
- 9:55Speaker 1: on my feet and having things. Let me tell you,
- 9:57Speaker 1: things do not bring how happiness in the slightest money
- 10:01Speaker 1: We've talked about this money makes the stress go down
- 10:05Speaker 1: a bit because you don't worry about certain things. Take
- 10:10Speaker 1: the pressure off. Talk to the adults in your life.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Don't give gifts. Talk to your friends. I really don't.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I don't have the money to take gifts this year.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Can we please not?
- 10:19Speaker 3: No one needs anything, and instead of a gifts, bring
- 10:22Speaker 3: a plate of something and to create an experience.
- 10:25Speaker 1: That's how I feel. Well.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I love that our way that I think so too,
- 10:29Speaker 2: like the friends giving the.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Friends miss like, just do that, you bring a bowl.
- 10:35Speaker 3: You don't have to get gifts. Yeah, the gift is
- 10:37Speaker 3: your presence.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I fully agree. And by the way, you're going to
- 10:40Speaker 1: remember that way more than you're going to remember the
- 10:43Speaker 1: necklace that Nancy got for you back you lost you
- 10:46Speaker 1: know twenty twenty nineteen or whatever that you probably did
- 10:49Speaker 1: lose or you know whatever. It just you see that
- 10:52Speaker 1: things just aren't that freaking cool. Yeah, my sister and
- 10:57Speaker 1: I are not speaking, and I don't know why she
- 11:00Speaker 1: and her six grown kids will not be there. That's
- 11:02Speaker 1: another hard thing is when people start getting older and
- 11:05Speaker 1: rifts start happening, and the holidays come around and you
- 11:07Speaker 1: start reminiscing about all the times that you had together
- 11:11Speaker 1: and things aren't the same.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Well, kids start getting older and her kids, like her
- 11:15Speaker 3: sister with the how many kids, she has.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Six grown kids.
- 11:19Speaker 5: But she doesn't grow.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Oh, but the speaking thing is weird.
- 11:23Speaker 3: But like that's the other thing is like she has
- 11:26Speaker 3: that maybe she's wanting to do something with her own
- 11:29Speaker 3: family now.
- 11:29Speaker 1: But they but they're not speaking. It's not just about well,
- 11:32Speaker 1: by the way, I know plenty of people where you
- 11:35Speaker 1: say one thing and some people just ic you out
- 11:38Speaker 1: and you're like, hello, what's going on? There are people
- 11:42Speaker 1: who are queens and kings of doing that the silent
- 11:45Speaker 1: treatment where you don't know what's going on. Kyle Richards,
- 11:49Speaker 1: Kyle Richards is being accused of that. I don't know.
- 11:52Speaker 1: She seems to have spoken her mind quite a bit
- 11:54Speaker 1: in the last seasons that I've seen, so I don't
- 11:56Speaker 1: know what happens off camera. We will never know. Getting
- 12:00Speaker 1: gifts for my partner's fam I don't love giving generic
- 12:03Speaker 1: gifts that can be for ever, that can be for anyone.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I feel this so hard because I am the worst
- 12:10Speaker 1: gift giver on the planet.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I always overthink the gift giving exactly.
- 12:15Speaker 1: And now you got to get it for your partner's family. Ooh,
- 12:18Speaker 1: that's intimidating.
- 12:19Speaker 2: That's a gift card, gift card, gift card.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but she doesn't want it to be for anyone.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I don't think that's what I recommend, you know.
- 12:29Speaker 4: I remember about our Christmases too. What can I just say?
- 12:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I loved our bingo nights.
- 12:35Speaker 1: That was so much fun. So we would go to
- 12:38Speaker 1: my grandma's house and there were like over.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Twenty of us. Yeah, it was a lot.
- 12:42Speaker 1: We and each family. Each person would bring a gift
- 12:46Speaker 1: and when you got bingo, you would go and pick
- 12:48Speaker 1: your gift, and then after everyone had one, you would
- 12:52Speaker 1: open them and then the trading started and you had
- 12:56Speaker 1: to get bingo in order to get a different gift.
- 12:58Speaker 1: That was a lot of fun. I love that, so
- 13:00Speaker 1: I only need to have like ten more kids to
- 13:03Speaker 1: make it fun.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Ye, but you know what I'd do.
- 13:05Speaker 4: I'd buy things that I wanted and I'd always get my.
- 13:09Speaker 5: Stuff back at the end of the night.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Why does that not surprise me?
- 13:13Speaker 2: I know, why didn't you just buy it for yourself
- 13:15Speaker 2: and I'll play the game? She likes.
- 13:20Speaker 1: It?
- 13:21Speaker 2: Or do I have to go back and buy it again?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that was stupid double pay.
- 13:28Speaker 4: But I got I remember I bought licorice and no
- 13:32Speaker 4: one wanted it, but there was dollars hidden in it.
- 13:36Speaker 5: That's genius.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and you got it? What do you guys?
- 13:40Speaker 5: Got it?
- 13:41Speaker 2: Good enough? Balling?
- 13:44Speaker 1: I read that one already. This person is they're listening
- 13:48Speaker 1: to so Mom. Were you here when I told you
- 13:50Speaker 1: what the bonus is about. We're talking about everything stressor's
- 13:53Speaker 1: favorite Christmas tradition, favorite song. This person said, the Gwen
- 13:57Speaker 1: Stefani Christmas album is so good, So that will be
- 14:00Speaker 1: downloaded because no one loves a good Christmas album more
- 14:02Speaker 1: than Ocean Kent. This one is. She's just cutting straight
- 14:07Speaker 1: to it. I'm broken. It's stressing me out. Fail you
- 14:10Speaker 1: by the way, most people I don't know how anybody
- 14:14Speaker 1: the cost of living, let alone adding on Christmas that
- 14:20Speaker 1: is specifically for some just about giving gifts. I want
- 14:25Speaker 1: to get back to why we have Christmas, but.
- 14:28Speaker 5: Can I tell you something.
- 14:30Speaker 4: I think it's horrific because people put things on credit
- 14:34Speaker 4: cards and they can't pay it off, so they pay
- 14:36Speaker 4: the minimum. And if you look at how long it's
- 14:39Speaker 4: going to take you to pay off that credit card,
- 14:41Speaker 4: it can be thirteen years paying the minimum and the
- 14:44Speaker 4: interest is twenty nine percent or thirty five percent.
- 14:48Speaker 5: People will never get out of debt.
- 14:50Speaker 2: You're buying like one hundred dollars credit card. Yeah, you have.
- 14:53Speaker 4: To put stuff on a credit card, don't buy it. Yeah,
- 14:55Speaker 4: if you can't pay it off at the end of
- 14:57Speaker 4: the month, don't buy it.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I'm happy you said that, because so people they will
- 15:00Speaker 3: put one hundred dollars gift on their credit card, and
- 15:03Speaker 3: that one hundred dollars gift that they thought with everything
- 15:06Speaker 3: is coming out to be like one hundred and ninety
- 15:07Speaker 3: eight dollars with how long it takes them to pay back.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Yeah, right, it's actually costing me.
- 15:12Speaker 2: It cost credit cards.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Well, I think that I love this so much that
- 15:17Speaker 1: I think that she should just write I'm broke and
- 15:19Speaker 1: it's stressing me out and put it in a box
- 15:21Speaker 1: and give it to everybody, because I would lack my
- 15:23Speaker 1: ass off, and that's a gift I would remember.
- 15:25Speaker 5: Forever to go. No, please look at Christmas lights with
- 15:29Speaker 5: your family one night.
- 15:30Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, Like we got to take the
- 15:32Speaker 1: pressure off. It's not about the gifts. Some people do
- 15:35Speaker 1: celebrate Christmas because, as the Family Court system says, it
- 15:40Speaker 1: is a commercial holiday. I was not raised as it
- 15:43Speaker 1: being a commercial holiday. Did we have all like the
- 15:45Speaker 1: whistles and bells of like, like did Santa Claus come
- 15:49Speaker 1: to my house?
- 15:49Speaker 5: Yes?
- 15:50Speaker 1: He did, ocean. But I just always remember things like that.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Or make Christmas cookies or like just do some fun things.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I agree, very early pregnant with my third wondering if
- 16:03Speaker 1: I should tell the fam at Christmas.
- 16:06Speaker 2: That would be though, you have to, that's what you
- 16:08Speaker 2: have to.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I have chill.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know how you do it, or you
- 16:13Speaker 3: have like everybody open at the same time, or do
- 16:16Speaker 3: one or like your mom and dad open it in
- 16:19Speaker 3: front of everybody.
- 16:20Speaker 2: But that is a Christmas that you'll forever remember.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I know. I'm thinking back when Cheryl announced her pregnancy.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Christmas at thirty eight.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yeah, no, we were at their house, but it's it
- 16:32Speaker 1: was it.
- 16:32Speaker 5: Yeah, but we lived at thirty six.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And she wanted I opened it and she was like,
- 16:38Speaker 1: read it. And I was so terrified of reading in
- 16:41Speaker 1: front of people. And she was like, just read it,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and I'm like I can't. I just forget how to read.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Give it to someone else who read it. I ended
- 16:49Speaker 1: up reading it because she pressured me. But then it
- 16:51Speaker 1: was totally worth it because it's worth the pressure. I
- 16:53Speaker 1: love delivering the news.
- 16:56Speaker 5: So cool.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Oh, this girl is listening to It's a Christmas sleigh
- 17:00Speaker 1: la la la la fa la la la la la la.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Yeah girl get oh. She was her thumbs up, like yeah, buddy, babies,
- 17:09Speaker 1: first Christmas born the day after Sosa September fourth, Beyonce's birthday.
- 17:15Speaker 1: And she's so excited. You know, that's a thing that's
- 17:17Speaker 1: been stressing me out. Actually why because it's the first
- 17:21Speaker 1: Christmas and you sit there and you're like.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Back to the gifts, don't overthink it.
- 17:24Speaker 1: No, You're like, I want to make it so special
- 17:28Speaker 1: for this for this human that does that doesn't even
- 17:32Speaker 1: know what's happening. Yeah, but can I tell you we've
- 17:35Speaker 1: spoken about you. Say what you're gonna say, mom, because
- 17:37Speaker 1: you'll fill Yeah.
- 17:37Speaker 4: No, I was just gonna say you're you were this,
- 17:40Speaker 4: you were the same age as so sad at Christmas.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Yeah, and guess what your favorite thing was?
- 17:45Speaker 1: Surand oh sulif.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I hate the sound of that.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Oh, Lauren loved Lisa loved it too, because it meant
- 17:54Speaker 1: she was opening something.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Lisa loves a good gift.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Lisa is the most stressful person in the world to
- 18:01Speaker 1: have in your life.
- 18:02Speaker 4: I love but you know what I love to know
- 18:04Speaker 4: what words of affirmation?
- 18:06Speaker 1: Oh, so now we have to do both. So that
- 18:08Speaker 1: means she expects a good card with her gift.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Oh.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Speaking of the card, Easton gives me a happy happy Birthday, Mom.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Card doesn't even write she got beforehand. And then I.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Told him, but Mom, it has such a good message.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I had a feeling.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I told her I was her birthday bag.
- 18:32Speaker 1: That's what you should have opened the card with, Happy birthday,
- 18:35Speaker 1: old bag, that's.
- 18:36Speaker 5: What he calls me.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Let me tell you where my stress lies with Sosa
- 18:40Speaker 1: Christmas rolling around even her birthday, I'm starting to stress
- 18:43Speaker 1: about because I'm like, why do I feel like I
- 18:49Speaker 1: just want to have like an intimate get together, like
- 18:51Speaker 1: she's not gonna remember. However, and then I think back
- 18:54Speaker 1: and I'm like, but then when she gets older, she's
- 18:56Speaker 1: gonna look at Ocean's first Christmas, Ocean's first uh birthday
- 19:01Speaker 1: and be like, are you joking?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Yeah, we're not joking.
- 19:05Speaker 3: We found out that it was not worth the money,
- 19:08Speaker 3: and we're sorry we didn't do it for you, kid.
- 19:10Speaker 1: But yeah, no, but you have a little bit more
- 19:13Speaker 1: money in your college.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Also March April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. Yes,
- 19:20Speaker 1: I did have to couch. She was nine months at
- 19:22Speaker 1: her first Christmas.
- 19:23Speaker 5: Yeah, not four different.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I think it's way different. The extra the out of month.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Get a couple of things that she needs and call
- 19:31Speaker 4: it a day. She needs some new bibs, she needs some.
- 19:34Speaker 2: That would be fun to open.
- 19:36Speaker 1: What a rip roaring gift.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Well, like, she's gonna know.
- 19:39Speaker 1: But I think it's just so exciting that looking back
- 19:42Speaker 1: at this time, I had just found out that I
- 19:44Speaker 1: was pregnant. Same with this girl who's celebrating her the
- 19:47Speaker 1: first Christmas with her baby born a day after SOS. Yes,
- 19:51Speaker 1: it's just wild to be like last year was when
- 19:54Speaker 1: we were like, oh wow, and you go next year
- 19:57Speaker 1: at this time, as my mom would say, next year
- 19:59Speaker 1: at this timee, we're gonna have a new baby. And
- 20:02Speaker 1: the time passed and she's here. Why are you doing that?
- 20:05Speaker 1: She doesn't cry. Ever, I didn't say she did. Oh
- 20:08Speaker 1: I thought you went yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 5: Oh no, I was excited.
- 20:12Speaker 1: No, I'm very excited.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Stress. She's an angel baby. We have two angel babies.
- 20:18Speaker 1: By the yay, you are an angel baby. Stress because
- 20:22Speaker 1: we won't see our daughter who's two thousand miles away.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Haven't seen her in over a year. Oh, this is
- 20:28Speaker 1: when I adore electronics and I'm like not seeing someone
- 20:33Speaker 1: because here's the thing. Yes, I love the fact that
- 20:35Speaker 1: you can FaceTime people now so you feel like you
- 20:38Speaker 1: got but it's the touch, right Like they haven't hugged
- 20:42Speaker 1: their daughter in over a year and she's two thousand
- 20:46Speaker 1: miles away. That's sad, It's very sad. But these are
- 20:50Speaker 1: the things that people think about when the holidays approach.
- 20:53Speaker 2: She's not a mission or just elsewhere does it say?
- 20:56Speaker 1: It doesn't say, But I just find it to be
- 21:00Speaker 1: like not everyone is so lucky to have their their
- 21:04Speaker 1: family in the same place, and not only that, speaking
- 21:07Speaker 1: and liking the family that's in the same place.
- 21:10Speaker 5: That's so true.
- 21:12Speaker 4: I mean I when I moved I here, a piece
- 21:15Speaker 4: of my heart was missing, just because Easton was in Utah,
- 21:17Speaker 4: so well, they would imagine.
- 21:19Speaker 1: There was a Christmas he didn't come out.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Yeah, and I got to see him.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Yeah, that was like two years ago.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and it was. It was. It's when we went
- 21:27Speaker 1: to Palm Springs and thank god we had that with
- 21:29Speaker 1: Sheesh and her family because Easton stayed back in Utah.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Were you sad during that time?
- 21:35Speaker 2: What did you do? Well?
- 21:36Speaker 5: You had to take care of dogs.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I know I didn't come out.
- 21:40Speaker 3: I was dating my ex, So I did Christmas with
- 21:42Speaker 3: her and her family, and then we went and did
- 21:44Speaker 3: it with Brandon and Cheryl.
- 21:45Speaker 2: We saw that's right.
- 21:46Speaker 3: I remember so and you guys went and did that,
- 21:49Speaker 3: and I thought staying home and doing that, and I
- 21:52Speaker 3: think I told you and you were like, that's a
- 21:53Speaker 3: good idea to go and do it with Brandon and Cheryl.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I remember.
- 21:58Speaker 5: You had to take care of dogs.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Well, that was the biggest thing is I couldn't find
- 22:01Speaker 2: anybody to watch them over Christmas.
- 22:03Speaker 1: So this person has Yeah, I I didn't miss you guys.
- 22:07Speaker 5: We missed you so much.
- 22:08Speaker 2: What's crazy is I don't even remember that Christmas because
- 22:11Speaker 2: I feel like I just like I you put it
- 22:14Speaker 2: in that. What is the word I'm looking for?
- 22:16Speaker 1: Suppressed?
- 22:16Speaker 3: I suppressed that because I didn't I enjoyed the family
- 22:19Speaker 3: and things, but like I missed you guys, and like
- 22:21Speaker 3: the little things that waking up to.
- 22:23Speaker 5: You know, totally just wasn't the same, was not the same.
- 22:27Speaker 1: This person has a hell of exciting Christmas coming. My
- 22:31Speaker 1: do date is Christmas Eve, and not knowing what I'm
- 22:34Speaker 1: going to go into labor has me stressed.
- 22:37Speaker 2: That's going to be a fun I feel like that
- 22:40Speaker 2: is so fun.
- 22:41Speaker 5: I know she's probably stressed, thul if she has other kids, like.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Stressful, But you have to be put take this one
- 22:48Speaker 3: Christmas out of it and what you have to go
- 22:51Speaker 3: through and now every Christmas after it's like you have
- 22:53Speaker 3: a birthday, which you have to separate birthday and Christmas
- 22:57Speaker 3: and all that. But like my buddy, his birthday is
- 23:00Speaker 3: the twenty eight Yeah, never has school love snowboarding, so
- 23:05Speaker 3: like his birthday is a week long, Like celebration, he
- 23:10Speaker 3: goes snow double gifts.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Yeah so he if his family does that, Mom, what, Yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 2: he gets gifts on Christmas.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Or does it say Merry Christmas and happy birthday son?
- 23:20Speaker 2: Maybe a couple of years it could have. I don't know,
- 23:22Speaker 2: but no. He and his mom said that it was
- 23:25Speaker 2: she loved having him during Christmas.
- 23:28Speaker 4: But do you remember you had a friend that had
- 23:31Speaker 4: Christmas Eve birthday and they always.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Fell my eggs. Yeah, yeah, that was I loved it though.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I think it's so cute.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Yeah, we would sell it. Yeah, but so special. I
- 23:43Speaker 2: hope I did well.
- 23:44Speaker 1: But yeah, of course you're so fun. Your mere presence
- 23:46Speaker 1: is just like the best gifts ever to you. I
- 23:49Speaker 1: mean that for this woman I'm wishing and I will
- 23:51Speaker 1: second that. Yes, for this woman who is expecting her
- 23:55Speaker 1: baby and she's due to go in to labor on
- 23:58Speaker 1: the twenty fourth, I'm wishing her a very happy and
- 24:00Speaker 1: healthy easy am I and easy where she's just laid back,
- 24:06Speaker 1: humpty dumpty in her ass off just finishes out a
- 24:10Speaker 1: healthy little babe. Such a fun time. I can't wait
- 24:14Speaker 1: to have my throat. This one had me cacklin cacklin
- 24:22Speaker 1: excited to see who drinks too much and starts the
- 24:24Speaker 1: next family fee.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Steve Harvey, Why do I love this? By the way, this.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Should be a movie. I want her Family to be
- 24:35Speaker 1: a movie because it sounds like every Christmas someone drinks too.
- 24:38Speaker 5: Much and pops off they get lit.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Yeah, like, maybe I picture it like the drunk aunt
- 24:46Speaker 1: who's like single and younger Italian man with the martini
- 24:52Speaker 1: in her.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Hands, griol. Her family is just the Grizwolds. I one
- 24:57Speaker 3: was gonna drink and there's this house.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Hey, maybe the dad gets a little too saucy on
- 25:03Speaker 1: some eggnot. I don't know. All I know is the
- 25:07Speaker 1: holidays aren't the same without a buzz. So cheers to
- 25:11Speaker 1: you and we can't wait for you to write in
- 25:12Speaker 1: to tell us what the feud is and why it happened. Yeah,
- 25:15Speaker 1: I want to hear from the perspective. I hope that
- 25:18Speaker 1: there's one person who doesn't drink too much so they remember.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It's kind of like the Janet Caperna when she talks
- 25:24Speaker 1: about the Valley last season when she was pregnant and
- 25:27Speaker 1: everyone would get wasted and they'd have to call her
- 25:29Speaker 1: the next day and be like, why are we beefing?
- 25:31Speaker 1: I don't know what happened. Yeah, so I can't.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Wait to hear. And it was me, Janet, no hurt.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Oh it was me.
- 25:43Speaker 1: She's like, so I'm the one who got too drunk
- 25:45Speaker 1: and this is what I said. And now the family
- 25:47Speaker 1: is not speaking. I don't know. Someone else's pain is
- 25:52Speaker 1: our happiness and entertainment. So thank you guys for writing in.
- 25:55Speaker 1: We are so grateful. So you guys, Mary, Christmas and
- 26:01Speaker 1: happy holidays.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:05Speaker 1: To the woman who's expecting, I can't wait to hear.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Please write back in and tell us when the baby
- 26:09Speaker 1: was due. How the baby's doing, my friend, Yeah, when
- 26:13Speaker 1: the baby is coming? When the baby yeah, thank you,
- 26:15Speaker 1: I said to do when the baby comes. We want

- 26:20Speaker 1: We want to know about it all. And Elizabeth, I'm
- 26:22Speaker 1: looking forward to who fights in your family? Who got
- 26:25Speaker 1: a little too buzz Again? Thank you for listening to
