- 0:09Hello and welcome back to another episode of Wanted.
- 0:11Laurencia, how are you all doing?
- 0:13I hope you're doing great. Merry Christmas and a happy
- 0:16Boxing Day to everybody. I hope you had fun with family,
- 0:20friends and loved ones. Now, for today's episode, I want
- 0:24to give you an update based on MK's story.
- 0:28Now, I know my last video. I was very hard on him because
- 0:31he's the head of the family. I had to be.
- 0:33I had to be. But there are new developments.
- 0:36I mean, the first video we watched was the wife sharing our
- 0:41story. Now there's a Part 2 of that
- 0:43video where his son Michael Mikey shared his encounter with
- 0:51him, Makiki, or his experience with his dad.
- 0:54He shared also shared voice notes where Michael was
- 0:57literally causing him out. But before we get to that, I
- 1:01think nobody wins. When family feuds like there is
- 1:06no winner or loser. We can decide to side with the
- 1:10wife, we can decide to side with them making care, we can decide
- 1:12to side with the son. But at the end of the day, this
- 1:15is a family. This is a broken family.
- 1:17This is a fractured family that we're hoping they could mend
- 1:22fences and just be cordial like these two people.
- 1:26They have kids. But the reason why I'm making
- 1:30this video is because there is no justification for a child to
- 1:36take sides to. You know, when parents feud, I
- 1:42understand that sometimes it's impossible because maybe you
- 1:46feel that your dad wronged your mom, so you're taking sides with
- 1:50your mom or your mum. Wrong your dad and you're taking
- 1:53like it doesn't end well. He doesn't end well because
- 1:57these are two people who got married.
- 2:01They are consenting adults. You were not there when they
- 2:04decided to get together. You were not there when they
- 2:07decided to bring you into this world.
- 2:09So whatever happens for me, I think the children should not
- 2:14get involved. I know they said Michael is 21
- 2:18years old. How many years old?
- 2:20He I don't know, but even at that he shouldn't get involved.
- 2:26Before I get into this topic, let me just play the video and
- 2:29the voice notes which Michael shared from his conversation.
- 2:33Which should they now watch this?
- 2:36Michael, go and drop in front of it.
- 2:38Let's talk right now. Now, now, now.
- 2:41Go and drop in front of drop from where you and break your
- 2:45head and smash it. You're my stress.
- 2:47You're my problem. You're the one I sent to school.
- 2:49I spent all my money that I didn't have.
- 2:51I was just taking money to save you.
- 2:54You jump and took my children out and gave them to blackmail
- 2:57us. And they are blackmailing me
- 2:58using you. And you're telling me it's
- 3:00better I die? Go, Go and do that.
- 3:02No, no, no, no, no. Don't do it tomorrow.
- 3:04I want to hear it, idiot. Think I'll let you blackmail me
- 3:09and I will still get your mother.
- 3:12I will still get your mother. Ah, yes he can.
- 3:18Ah, damn. Don't worry, the people behind
- 3:24this we hear from me. Don't wait for me to keep my
- 3:29hand. Not supposed to touch you?
- 3:30Go and kill yourself because. And then he said whether she
- 3:33wants to kill my siblings so that it would be like it's only
- 3:36him that is alive, let himself kill himself.
- 3:39Everyone should just kill themselves, says they can kill
- 3:43themselves to their children. He said he has other kids my age
- 3:47around the world and was like guy, OK?
- 3:50Is that supposed to freeze me? OK, the next morning I quit. 10
- 3:57minutes feeling it's not the first time.
- 3:59He's always sending you emails and sorting out like that.
- 4:02You're doing music, giving them a prosper.
- 4:04I'll see you on the side of the road and I'll spit on you.
- 4:06Don't just will never see you blah blah.
- 4:08Blah father said to you. Hold on.
- 4:10He kept going, Sending movies, movies, movies.
- 4:15My mom couldn't even listen to it.
- 4:17She was trying to calm me down. Me that I'm trying to calm her
- 4:21down. I was so surprised man.
- 4:24I was like, this can't be this can't be someone I should be
- 4:28proud of. I start thinking like what do I
- 4:32do when I bring a woman home or kids who is going to make this
- 4:37guy place my kids for me? Like I don't know.
- 4:40I'm sorry. Making get scared that I'm I
- 4:44going to have issues like this. When I go, what do you want your
- 4:48dad to do? Stop.
- 4:49Doing that, anything from, I don't want them from.
- 4:55I think it's four days ago I realised I don't anything from
- 4:59this one told me to go crush my head by a truck.
- 5:02Right. That was the line.
- 5:06I'm dead to this one, I don't think.
- 5:11Nigerians are on social media, so I want to preempt that
- 5:14question. People will say that your mother
- 5:17has turned you against your dad and that's why we are here
- 5:20talking. How do you respond to me?
- 5:22With my mum 1st and I said it was I really hate my father.
- 5:26When you meet your mom for the first time.
- 5:29Now from social media, in laws, a lot of people they were
- 5:33blaming, they make. Now why would you reign curses
- 5:36on your child regardless of what's you know your child has
- 5:39done, regardless of whether he's taking sides?
- 5:42Telling your son to end his life is not an option.
- 5:47Like you would never want anybody to to go through that,
- 5:51not to talk of a child you brought into this world and in a
- 5:54child you took care of. Now I can understand why.
- 5:58Because at the end of the day these are two broken people, the
- 6:03mother and the father. The mother felt, you know, she
- 6:06was caught short. Basically, she was a model.
- 6:10She wanted to be an actress. She got married to this famous
- 6:13guy and all he could do was get her pregnant.
- 6:19Yeah, pregnant she did. She she didn't feel fulfilled in
- 6:23her life, I think from what she was saying and that could drive
- 6:29anybody crazy. But from what Nikki saying, he
- 6:32said that he sent out to school, bought her jam.
- 6:36She did first degree. She did masters.
- 6:38But at the same time, I I just think we shouldn't.
- 6:43I know I took sides, but judging from the whole conversation now,
- 6:49I think we should just let people deal with their issues.
- 6:52We all have that one family or friend or relation or neighbour
- 6:58who yeah, marriage ended and basically most times the Farrah
- 7:04get the children, most times also they deny the woman access
- 7:07to those children. So the woman is busy crying
- 7:10trying to get access to the kids and then when the kids now grow
- 7:14up become an adult, maybe 18/19/20 they will reach out to
- 7:19their mother. And when they reach out to their
- 7:22mother, trust me, that woman has her body.
- 7:25Whole lot of grief, a whole lot of hatred for the father,
- 7:32stopping her to see her children.
- 7:34She is going to a lot like she's going to embellish the stories
- 7:39not because she want to, but because of the way she felt
- 7:42pained. That pain must have been, you
- 7:46know, multiplied 100 times just because of the fact that she was
- 7:50not able to see her kids. We are online watching that the
- 7:53phrase complain about his children complaining about not
- 7:56seeing his kids. These are kids that are both 20,
- 7:59but According to him, the wife has controlled or mind
- 8:05controlled them or something that they have refused to see
- 8:08him. So he is bitter regardless of
- 8:11whatever transpired when they were dating or when they had a
- 8:15divorce or whatever transferred at that point.
- 8:19Right now he is pained. So whatever happened, he has
- 8:23magnified that based on his pain level, based on his anger level.
- 8:29So I think people should just stop putting kids in the middle
- 8:34of things. If you get married and that
- 8:36marriage doesn't work, find a way to get both parties to see
- 8:40children. Because most times even when the
- 8:42dad take the kids, there's a 99% chance that he would not be able
- 8:47to cater for those kids. So the kids will have to move to
- 8:50a different family member and then the woman, maybe she
- 8:54herself also is not able to cater for those kids.
- 8:56But there has to be a battle ground where the father is able
- 9:01to see the kids, the mother is able to see the kids or they are
- 9:05able to speak to the children. Don't stop anybody from seeing
- 9:08their kids, don't stop any. Because at the end of the day if
- 9:12you do that, that person is going to harbour hatred, anger.
- 9:17And when that child is now maybe an adult 1819 and able to
- 9:23connect with their parents, whichever one they were not,
- 9:28they were denied access to, it is going to create chaos.
- 9:32This is what I think is going on in the Mexican situation.
- 9:35He had custody of those children for about 8 years and within
- 9:39those eight years he was able to move to Germany, get married,
- 9:45continued a different like had two more children.
- 9:48And I could tell that he, he, Michael, is the eldest.
- 9:53So that will make him feel better because it's just like,
- 9:55OK, you have started a new family, you have gotten married
- 9:59and we were here being taken care of by strangers.
- 10:03When we have a mother, when we have a mother that we can
- 10:06actually stay with because at the end of the day.
- 10:09And Mika will still be giving those family members money to
- 10:12take care of those children, which could easily give his
- 10:16ex-wife to cater for those children.
- 10:19But because of when people divorce or when people when
- 10:23marriages end, there's always that bitterness there.
- 10:27And everybody's trying to score points.
- 10:30Everybody's trying to hurt people the best way that they
- 10:34can. And most times the children are
- 10:37stuck in the middle. All I would say is MK, you
- 10:42brought this upon yourself because you marry somebody who
- 10:44was a teenager, regardless of whatever you may think that you
- 10:48have done for her or her family, she did not feel fulfilled.
- 10:53She felt like her life was cut short because she met you.
- 10:57She felt like she could have done better.
- 10:59Could she have done better? Probably.
- 11:02Or that opportunity, the fact that she was not given the
- 11:06opportunity to to go into the world and do all those things
- 11:10that she had in her head that she wanted to do.
- 11:14This is what is making her better.
- 11:15And because she was having kids back-to-back, I understand she
- 11:18went to school, she didn't masters.
- 11:20The fact that she was having kids back-to-back, that made her
- 11:24resent. I think she really at the end of
- 11:26the day she just resented him. That is the the, the cooks of
- 11:29the whole matter now. The son, Michael according to
- 11:34Mikey he was in school in Abuja and then when he reconnected
- 11:39with the mother he moved from Abuja to Lagos.
- 11:42He abaddon school now he's trying to be a musician.
- 11:47He was frustrated, could hear what he was saying in that voice
- 11:50note he was frustrated because we have we all grew up in
- 11:54Africa. We all know especially Nigeria.
- 11:57Your parents especially the ones that educated and making kids
- 12:01and engineer. He might think the basic
- 12:03requirements he he wanted from his son was a degree and when
- 12:07the boy was not giving it to him he he got frustrated and I think
- 12:11it was because he met his mother.
- 12:13His mother is like you know now she she she has reconnected with
- 12:16her son. She would want to get in his
- 12:18good books so whatever. He could easily manipulate her
- 12:22and tell her, oh I I I want to be a musician that is trying to
- 12:26make me go go to school. I just think I am born to do
- 12:30this. I am born to do that.
- 12:31And the mother is like, yes, you should do it.
- 12:35And according to sources he is working in a restaurant in in
- 12:39Lagos. Like I understand people you
- 12:43know, humble beginnings. You struggle before you could.
- 12:47Why not just complete your education?
- 12:49Your father is a mega *. I think if Michael had completed
- 12:55his education and then tell his father how he I've done what you
- 12:59want me to do now I want to. I want to get into the
- 13:03entertainment industry. His father will be happy to put
- 13:07him through. I think maybe not because he did
- 13:11not put the mother through. He ended up with the mother.
- 13:16True. So I I don't know.
- 13:18I don't know. I just think nobody wins when
- 13:22family feuds. Nobody, absolutely nobody wins.
- 13:26So MK. I think it's time to like drop
- 13:32the boxing gloves, Just speak to your wife, apologise to your son
- 13:37because nobody should receive such a a message, even from an
- 13:44enemy, you know, telling you you will not amount to nothing.
- 13:48Yeah, go and you know, end your life.
- 13:51It is going to hurt a child. But we all grew up in, I always
- 13:56say this, we grew up in the traumatic environment.
- 13:59Something is going to traumatise you.
- 14:01And also Suzanne, Susan, I think you shouldn't bring the fact
- 14:06that you brought to your son to that interview for me.
- 14:09I think you scored an own goal and that was what everybody was
- 14:12saying. If you had just come out, tell
- 14:15you one side of the story and just let everything be.
- 14:19Maybe on his own, he's a grown man.
- 14:23Maybe the son on his own goes to a different platform, or he
- 14:26wants to come to that platform but on a different day to tell
- 14:31his own side of the story. I don't think people will
- 14:34question it the way people are questioning it now because you
- 14:38brought him on. This is a fight between you and
- 14:44your ex-husband. Now you're bringing the children
- 14:47into the mix. It doesn't end well.
- 14:50It does not end well. At the end of the day, Michael,
- 14:54you're still going to grow up. You're still going to get
- 14:55married. And it's it's different ball
- 14:59game. It's it's a different ball game.
- 15:02So people should leave the children out of whatever
- 15:08situation that you're going through with your wife or your
- 15:12partner. If that marriage is no longer
- 15:15working, I think people should be mature enough to do what is
- 15:19right or what is best for the kids.
- 15:22Put your emotions aside. The kids need both the father
- 15:26and the mother. Unless in a situation whereby
- 15:29one of the parents is abusive, then I can say OK, they may not
- 15:34have them physically but that conversation is required because
- 15:38at the end of the the child is going to ask you why did you
- 15:41stop me from talking to my father?
- 15:43Why did you stop stop me from talking to my mother?
- 15:46They are going to turn back and resent you.
- 15:49Although for you you think you're trying to do what is best
- 15:52for them. Sometimes it's best to just
- 15:54allow the children to experience certain things for themselves
- 15:58and make up their minds. Even making had allowed the the
- 16:03ex-wife access to the children, not necessarily having them full
- 16:07time but let's say visitation rights speaking to them.
- 16:12It will not get to this point. He will not be on social media,
- 16:15cried the son. Will not be on social media
- 16:18saying that he hits the dad, the wife will not be on social
- 16:21media, like this whole thing will not be on social media.
- 16:25But the reality is we all know that family member, that friend,
- 16:32that neighbour, that extended relation that their marriage
- 16:37ended and they are weaponizing the children against one of the
- 16:42partner. It is not going to end well, it
- 16:45will not end well. So once you are comfortable
- 16:51getting somebody pregnant or having a child for somebody,
- 16:54regardless of what happens after after that point, the two of you
- 16:59have to be involved in that child's life.
- 17:02Whether you hate each other, whether you want your at each
- 17:05other's throats, whether you can't stand the sight of each
- 17:09other. This human being in the middle
- 17:13was brought to this world by the two of you.
- 17:16You have to put aside your emotions and actually help that
- 17:20child be a better person. I wish I'm making here and the
- 17:23family all the best. I just hope that they are able
- 17:26to sit down, have a conversation and move forward in this
- 17:31incoming 2024. Also, today's video is once
