I'm Emma and I am so excited to have Zuzu with me today. thanks so much for being here. ZuZu!: Thank you, Emma. I'm so excited to be here in front of moms, having babies and raising kids. Like that's the best life ever. emmamma: It's awesome. Well, tell us a little bit more about yourself. ZuZu!: Sure. Well, I grew up and here's the deal. Now I can talk like this to a bunch of moms, right? So I grew up and I was like, I was gonna be on Broadway because I could sing and I could dance, you know, and I was I could act, you know, blah blah blah. And I was like, man, and then my best friend Dawn, she was going to like stay home and raise kids, you know, because that was her thing, right? So fast forward, yeah, no. Cho chun complete opposite, right? She wasn't on Broadway or anything. But I was like, this having kids thing is great and anyhow just ended up with a lot of children and A lot of fun and a lot of life experiences. So I've had my own children. I've been a stepmom. I adopted a daughter and then I got a bonus daughter. So I have a hundred I had twelve children and and went kind of through all of it. So was a single mom with five kids and they got remarried, so I got the three stepchildren, and then we adopted one who wasn't who was older, and then and then one of my students was had died and she left me her daughter, which was like amazing because she's still one of my besties, she's just adorable. So There you go, that's me. but I am a holistic practitioner. Forgot, I have to actually have credentials to be on this thing. I'm a holistic healthcare practitioner. I've worked with thousands and thousands and thousands, spoken in front of tens of thousands, and I own holistic health educators, which is an online school of natural medicine available in 100 languages all over the world. We love what we do. and then we opened up a retreat center that we're still building, but we have retreats all the time down here in the middle of nowhere in Georgia. Where there's gnats a couple of months a year, but don't let get you 'cause they're wonderful, it's beautiful down here. So they don't they don't take you away. So if you like Florida, you love it here. emmamma: That's that's so good. I love that. I you you shared so many different things. I love that you just like are all about family and kids and like that's great and wherever kids are coming from, it just seems like you're just a joy to be around, which is great. tell me a little bit more about why you got into this holistic health aspect of of what you do. ZuZu!: Yeah, well that's a fun well because of I was gonna get married and I was like, wait, I'm on three medications for epilepsy. I don't want that in my running through my veins and my blood and then going into a baby. emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: And so I was like, well, then I'll figure how to get off of it. And of course, there wasn't the World Wide Web, guys. I'm like almost 59, right? So anyhow, and so like I'm so old, right? Whatever. and you still work fine when you're old. So ignore everybody who's telling you you can't have wonderful love with your sweetheart because you're old. Just ignore everything you've been told because they're wrong. But anyhow, and so I was like, Well, then I'm gonna get off my medication. So I I just went to libraries and started studying and I was able to use food to get off of my medications and then and because they were higher in GABA and GABA controls electricity and so I've worked with I don't know how many epileptics and threats and people who've had issues with their nervous system and it works phenomenal. But I was able to do that through food. And then my first child was born at 18, and I was bedridden for the for the last three or four months of the pregnancy, and which was such a joy. And then she was born and she's amazing, and And 18 months later, or no, it wasn't about eight months later, her her tear ducts wouldn't open up. And they're like, well, we're just gonna do some surgery. And of course I knew nothing. And so they take her in for some surgery and they're like, we're gonna put tubes in her ears just because we know she'll need them. And I'm like, no, you're not going to put tubes in my daughter's ear. Like something is very wrong with you and very wrong with that. like even proposal. And that's when I went, and then it's like nothing happened. Well she got an ear infection. You know, I don't know how much 18 months, two years. And I was like, well, I ain't going to the doctor because they're gonna put tubes in her ears. And I started studying homeopathy. And then for the next 11 years and five children, that's all I did was homeopathy. Like everything was homeopathy. emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: No one ever got sick, you know. And I started, you know, grinding my own wheat and baking my own bread and making beans and blah blah blah and like healing everything and everyone and it was super fun. And then I just kind of escalated from that. I did actually become a single mom we lived with abuse which none of you should live with so like see me after class but anyhow got away from that not very easy back then because you didn't do that right I but I had five kids and there was one emmamma: for sure. ZuZu!: shelter in our entire community of 30,000 right and anyhow emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: so I got out of that with the kids. Life was great and eventually, you know, we married and and had three stepchildren. And that's when it really became fun because I'm like, they won't eat vegetables, let me show them. And I would like, I would blend everything. And I just posted a video. It's only on Facebook, but we'll get it out on every everywhere else. But it's how to feed fussy eaters. So please, please, please go watch that because it's super fun. But I hid so much food in those three children's lunch boxes and lunches, right? And in food when when they were living and staying with us. So it was super fun. I actually raised my my stepson in our own home which was wonderful but it was just really fun so it was great to use the the earth as medicine so homeapida and then the herbs and essential oils and and then I started just helping everybody and became a holistic healthcare practitioner opened up health food stores and clinics and that's what we do. So now we just teach everything I've learned. Plus we have over a hundred doctors and professionals now teaching at our school. So it's super fun. They just use me as the mouthpiece because I talk too much and my name is fun like Zuzu is a fun emmamma: Okay. ZuZu!: But anyhow, so it's just really neat. We have a We have a lot of fun helping people understand how their bodies work and how you can heal at home. Like I'm teaching a class this Saturday. I wish all of you were here. It's three hours in my kitchen, right? Learning how to function in a kitchen. Like, what should you have in the kitchen? And it is so mind blowing because everybody comes and I don't use any dairy, I don't use any grain, I don't use any sugar. They're blown away with how great everything tastes because they just don't know. And that's the kind of thing emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: that just led me to wanting to help others is when they taste it and they feel how good they taste. They feel their family lives change. emmamma: Yeah, man, that's so great. And I love that you do like hands-on training. I feel like sometimes that's a big, a big hold up for a lot of people is like, okay, like this all sounds really cool in theory, but like how do I actually do this on a like day-to-day basis? What do I actually need to do this? And that's great. That's so awesome. I love that. ZuZu!: Well, that's one thing we want to do here at Lily Fields. We have our store open and it's been wonderful, but I'm like, that is not my calling to have another health food store. my gosh, uh-uh-uh, right? And so I'm like so we're actually closing the health food store that we've only had open for three years because I'm like, number one, I'm swamped. Our our school is busy. We've had 1200 people waiting for phone calls from our enrolling our enrollment staff because people want they're all turning to natural health. Right. And number two, we want to do more retreats. Like you can bring your friends and we'll teach you how to make food. Right there, we have a celebration kitchen. You would love the logo. It's a disco ball with a microphone because like you should sell a break your kitchen as in feeding your cells of the human body. but you can come and we're gonna set up stations and people can come and and learn hands-on over a weekend just how to make sauerkraut. That's like amazing. None of you will ever, ever, ever. Number one, you'll never get sick again because you'll eat right. But number two, you'll love sauerkraut, and your kids will love sauerkraut, and you'll learn how to make everything, all your grain-free bread, which is not full of starches that are gonna kill your kill you from cancer and candida and parasite overgrowth. Please don't buy gluten-free food. Anyhow, so just it's just really been fun. We love what we do and and we love to have you come to our kitchen. She can play in my kitchen. emmamma: That's so fun. That sounds amazing. What is one of your like favorite rhythms or rituals that you do on a daily or weekly basis that you just always go back to? ZuZu!: Asana, see? I still have damp hair. I I have some really good it's so funny you asked that. my gosh. We're like on the same wavelength or something because Emma, I woke up this morning and I literally was like, I really need to do little videos on my favorite things. Like what do I do in the emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: day? Like I need to do that. And then like you ask me this question. God, you're amazing. Okay, so I wake up in the morning, which is always a good start, and I my favorite thing. is I roll over and I kiss my sweetie. Like I just I'd love to be held by my sweetie. So remember in your relationships, everyone, because you're raising kids and like your husband's over there and you're over here and you're but remember it's not, this is just my one personal relationship advice because I live by this. and my husband constantly reminds me. It's not him and I, it's us. Always. He always tells emmamma: Mm. ZuZu!: me that it's not you and it's not me, it's us. And so don't forget to start your day the right way by kissing your other half. Like it's part of you. He is part of you, right? And so Really develop that relationship with whoever is your spouse. But anyhow, and then we saw I work out. I work out, I do kettlebells, I exercise, I jump on a trampoline, I love to dance when no one's watching, because I won't not dance in front of anybody else. And then I emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: sauna and we sauna every single morning. That's been something I have done for I don't know, 20 years. I love the sauna. It removes all, it removes so much. Like you guys, that we are living in a microplastic toxic world, right? And microplastics come out on the sauna, the body regulates. In the sauna, heat shock proteins develop better in the sauna. It is just phenomenal. So I definitely do that. So that's my like my morning routine. and then I do I drink I drink a lot of water and I love hibiscus, so I make a lot of hibiscus tea. but I use a lot of different teas because they're good for the adrenals and good for the body. I I pretty much turn to plants, if you can't tell, but I live in a jungle. You came in my home, you'd be like, Is there a human in here or is it just monkeys, right? Is it just a jungle? emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: Well, I do rely on plants and then I do motivate. I do motivations that this this hangs on my this this hangs on my computer at night. So when I wake up I'm like, that's right, there's a lion inside because we're living in a day and age where we compare ourselves with everybody else. And then we become become emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: mice and moles and we just think we're so little and you're not. Your mom. Like you got your mom. You're like king. You print this for yourself, right? Like like you're queens, right? You're out there ruling the roost right now. And whether you're working or not. You're in charge of babies and people that are in your life. Like it's you that they're looking up to for food and health and and happy advice. And so get your limit this, right? Bec Disco Ball by the way, because this is gonna take you away from from you and from the people that are relying on you. emmamma: Yeah, absolutely. I think that's such a such an important part and I love your some of your rhythms and routines. I have a question. Do you think that like anybody and everybody can have a sauna in their their living space? And do you have like ZuZu!: Yes. emmamma: recommendations on how to make that happen? ZuZu!: Yeah, yeah. You can even order like you can get a big sauna, but you don't need to. You can get small emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: saunas. I like the single well, ours is single, but we both fit in it. the single sauna, Sunlighten's really great, clear light is really good. Both of those brands are wonderful. There's this fire and for a sauna. they even sell the ones that go up, you know, and then come up to your neck and your head is out of them. I don't love those because I'm like such a This is weird, you know what I mean I know there's health benefits, don't even start writing me. I know I'll I teach this for a living. So this is called thermal therapy, right? Anyhow, and so yes, very much understand some of the benefits of it. But I personally like sitting in a sauna with my sweetie. and even when that when we're I was raising kids, I still had a sauna and I was doing a sauna. I'd get them ready, I would get up, I would check all my emails because I run businesses, get all the kids ready, all their lunches made, blah blah. And then when they were gone, I would do my routine. And for all of you mothers who are having babies. I did Richard Simmons. I know. He's crazy. He's absolutely n but that was the best thing to get my body back to where it was again all after every emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: and my kids would walk in going, Mom, Are you really doing Richard Simmons? You if they were home for the day or what if I missed my early morning, I was doing it when they came home at two in the afternoon or three in the afternoon. I'm like, you bet I am. None of them can keep up, just putting it out there. So find some emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: dance. I will tell you all, look up Nia Dance N-I-A. It's like dance mixed with martial arts, and it's super cool. I love it. I feel so like cool when I do it. So, anyhow, you can emmamma: Nice. ZuZu!: also do some some Nia dance, but yeah, for sure. emmamma: That's awesome. That's so cool. I think that's I I always feel like it's so helpful to get like actual recommendations too, because I think again, we live in a world that people are so quick to like go search something on the internet and then we get all this other impeding advice. And it although like it I don't think any particular healthcare professional is like the be all say all of whatever, I think it is helpful to get some of these recommendations of like, okay, like this is how you can do this practically in our life. ZuZu!: That's yeah you that's what I always tell 'cause like Are the doctors and and I can rattle off all sorts of impressive and thing information, but I'm like the I'm like the how do you do it person. Like how to implement this into your life. And because you can rattle everything off about Enox 2 protein receptor sites and blah blah and get people all wowed at you. But how are you live but then and I literally, Emma was in the car after a big summit that I had hosted, and I flew in this top of the notch, you know, natural ethic doctor, woo-hoo, he was on stage with us as well. We had all these amazing important people, but I happened to be in the car. with him afterwards going to get something for his wife or whatever, and he pulled out a snack bar. And I was like, We just spoke on cancer. What the hell are you eating? Like I was like in my brain, I had this entire conversation going, Wow, emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: buy their fruits you shall know them. Yeah, I'm like, wait a minute. You can't talk about MS and cancer and all of emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: this. And then and I said, Where'd you get that? He goes, I picked it up at the at the gas station. I was like, my gosh. Like, so yeah, it's very hard. And all of you are literally out there looking at influencers all the time and these cute little people with big boobs and they're like, my gosh, you should buy this because you'll lose weight. And you should take this product because of this. They're just sales pitches. If you don't know how that actually works, they all can go to a database, click what they want to make, how much money they want to make by selling this product, and then that's what they're pitching. So the the thought that they're just that they're just like, coming across something amazing to share with you is not real. Like none of that's real. I'm pretty real. Like I'll tell you what not to do because I've tried it and it was stupid or something. I but yeah, find your people to talk to. Good good thing. emmamma: Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, having those people that feel like you can ask the questions to you about what you can do and and feeling confident ZuZu!: Yeah. emmamma: and getting the support that you need for yourself is so important. ZuZu!: Yeah. Emmamma: hey, I'm just popping in real quick to say Make sure you're subscribed to the Cyclical Doula podcast on whichever platform you're listening to. ⁓ And don't miss upcoming conversations. If this episode is resonating with you, please share it with a friend, rate it and write a review. This is how this movement grows, not through algorithms, but through women talking to women. All right, let's jump back into it. emmamma: what so I mostly work with women who are trying to use their cyclical, their menstrual cycles for family planning. That's like the main thing that I do. So I would love to know a little bit more about what you want to share about like hormonal health and whatever that can that's so broad, so you can share whatever you want around hormonal health that you kind of specialize in or think that's important. ZuZu!: You bet that's a great question. And my daughter my daughter, my aunts, I mean, we have a lot of people in our family that actually practice cyclical. What I want to say though is that I I've written a lot on pregnancy. My favorite thing is when my client sends me a text and it's a positive, you know, it's a positive result and they're pregnant again, or or for the first time, because they were told they couldn't. And that has been a very big blessing in my life, is that I've been able to help a lot of people do that. I want so I'd love to share a few quick tips on that for sure. Number one, stress is a no no. And you all have heard the story. You're stress, stress, stress, try, try, try, and then you stop being stressed and you get pregnant. You just need to learn from that. And so find your model. Find your find your meditation, find your moments where you can just calm the body. You need to be in calm. I'm a huge moon phase person when it comes to cyclical as well. So making sure you're following your moon phases, right? Blah blah. That's it is important because the moon controls all the water on the earth. and so I I definitely have different opinions on NASA on our Earth, but I am very much aware because of science is science, that the the pulse, the pulsing of the move and the movement of the moon does actually affect our health, and that's why we still Stud our steers, you know, on the full moon. So obviously that's important. Raspberry tea, I can't speak enough about it. hibiscus and raspberry tea. Hibiscus, because it's incredible for the circulatory system, incredible for the heart. But raspberry leaf is phenomenal. I've had so many women who are desperate to get pregnant and they tried everything, you know, and I'll mention a few more things, obviously, but raspberry tea is something I really strongly believe in because I've witnessed it so many times, and goji berries. And so, like bringing in, and goji berries were like they were the gift when you got. married in many villages. Like when you got married, you were given goji berry vines and sarsaparilla, for the because and bee pollen. Like you were given these things because they wanted you to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, right? Bring forth grandbabies, right? So please drink raspberry tea and here's your goji berries and here's your maca and here's your like it was literally just gifts, right? maca root is a root a Peruvian root. but it is wonderful for helping helping helping people get pregnant. I do I must mention this because you if you are not being told, I don't know where anybody stands on what they believe happened during the interesting moments that we lived through those few years when people were getting jabbed with god only knows what. But I'm telling you, we have a lot of men. We have men now and the results are out there that the sperm is trillions of spike proteins. There is no sperm. So they're ejaculating emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: like proteins. So you do need to make sure you get tested. So this is a time when we actually do want to get tested, make sure we're okay. But there's so much a man can do. And so much a woman can do to strengthen the sperm and strengthen the eggs. I'm assuming you've covered all this, but I'm just gonna rattle it up as much as off as I can. emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: Number one, EMFs is huge. You are a hundred percent an electrical being. Every single thing you're looking at or touching today, everything from your microphone right to this the TV screen to the light behind you, everything you're seeing, all of me, my earrings, right, my fake flower, but everything is atomic. Everything's made of atoms. All of you are atoms. You're made from bazillions of atoms. And those electrons that circle around the protons, when they connect with each other, they're bonding and they're creating matter. So everything, including your ovaries and your testes, right? Everything is electric. You cannot expect your body to be operating properly when you've got some phone in your back pocket or your front pocket radiating your testes and your ovaries or the entire emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: reproductive system, flopian tubes, it's all getting hit. So we really recommend the EMF protective underwear. for men and women if you're trying to get pregnant. This is huge. We need to protect our and strengthen our bodies. And in several cultures, even some of the larger continents, if you're pregnant, you are to wear an iron apron. Period, you must wear an iron apron to protect the EMFs from affecting the baby. I know when I was when I started writing about this maybe fifteen years ago, twenty years ago, there were studies that came out from Sweden showing that you could tell if your child was gonna have ADD, ADHD, or be on the spectrum by how many hours a day the mother used her phone or her laptop on her belly. And I'm like How come everyone isn't being told this? So although you're emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: tracking your cycle, that's great. You all know how to do that, right? It's pretty easy. There's other things that go into play. What you eat is going to go into play, period. And think about it. Like, and maybe because I talk pretty plain and simple, which is just how I am, your body, all your body really cares about is creating a seed, right? Like Sorry, you know, you can look pretty and put your eye fake your fake eyelashes on and blah blah do all that, but your body actually doesn't care about any of it. All your body cares about is ooh, she's handsome. Let's get pregnant. Right. All your men are like, ooh, she's really great. Let's get let's let's get pregnant. Let's do it. Like right. They wanna be together because what is the union is a seed. The union of a man and a woman is a seed. period that's how life continues for every mammal on the planet right now most everything else but not everything but anyhow so that that in our species the man and the woman coming together we create seed and so we need to make sure that what we're eating and drinking and putting on our skin is actually worthy of creating a baby because i've had I've had multiple people are like my gosh I'm in my sixth month and I'm still having morning sickness I'm like what are you eating You know, and this was actually one of my friends of my of my daughters, and I as she her daughter's like, My daughter's all concerned. I'm like, Well, tell me what she eats, and then I'll tell you what's going on. And she comes back and she's like, Well, mom, she's eating Captain Crunch and she's eating little Caesar's Pizzas MMs. I'm like, Well, how do you make a baby from Captain Crunch, Little Caesar's Pizza, and MMs? you can't make a baby. And so the baby, once it's in you, is going to steal all the nutrients possible from you, the mom. emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: And so you're gonna I never had a single day of morning sickness, either did my daughters, not a single day, because we're so full of minerals and vitamins and biophotons that everything the babies, even my twins, but I had twins, number one, I didn't even know it, but number two, like emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: they everything that both of them needed was coming from my blood supply and my body. And so even before you get pregnant, if you don't have enough nutrients in the body, it's going to be very hard to for a baby to grow inside the body if the nutrients aren't in the bloodstream and aren't in the muscle tissue and in the body so really high quality food and i i i've to forgive myself i talk about a man and a woman coming together to create seed i don't know who else watches this show wherever you're at whatever you're doing there's no judgment here i'm just talking from the science part of how we how how okay emmamma: Yeah, on the biological level, yeah. ZuZu!: good i didn't want to offend anybody here but yeah biologically emmamma: No, no, no, yeah. ZuZu!: honey if you're a woman and you're gonna be happy emmamma: We need a sperm and an egg, yeah. ZuZu!: A really emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: strong blood slop blood supply of really healthy stuff, right? You just and you emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: need that, so emmamma: That's great. I think that's those again, like the practical advice is really helpful. And I think that I I I know that you also know this, but that initial phrase of like just stressless as as a whole, like that sentence in itself is so detrimental to people who are trying to get pregnant or just like doing life as a whole. But I think when you look at when you look at all of the things that you said together, like those are little things that we can do to kind of Help our bodies just get to a state of like a little bit more calm and a little bit less stress. And that then helps. And because telling somebody to stress less obviously doesn't actually help. But but having these conversations about here are some ZuZu!: No. No, but if you miss on a emmamma: things that we can do to just kind of like help our body get back to a neutral state is is so good. ZuZu!: Yeah. Get a bouncy ball. Like I I sit on a ball. I've sat on I've sat on a ball for like well, I don't know, almost 20 years now. I wrote on my book sitting on a ball, but that helps release stress. So I can give you a whole bunch of stress reducers because having all those children and running businesses, my gosh, I had to reduce stress. But emmamma: yeah. ZuZu!: yeah, sitting on a bouncy ball is very, very healthy for the body. Number one, it's great for your back, it's great for your legs, but it is it is calming because that's that back to that nurture in the womb, right? It's very, very calm. emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: So then when you start getting stressed, you can just sit and be like, okay, I'm going back to mom for a minute here. You know, I'm just gonna just gonna go back and emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: relax a little bit. and then song, obviously, music is so de-stressing, and we've come away from str music into podcasting, which is great, podcasts are wonderful. Pick your favorites, but you, this is a big one, you are what you consume, not just through your mouth, but through your ears. And so if you're if you're really listening to a bunch of, life is awful and I'm gonna scrape your car with my key and what That's like the number one thing you listen to all day long is like Is like sadness and sorrow and anger and frustration. What is your body reacting to? Those are all frequencies. I've written a whole book on frequencies. emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: And so all the words that we hear are frequency. All the words we say are frequency. Are we are we shaming other people? Are we cutting them down because they drive like idiots? Are we making fun of what they're wearing? Are we ridiculing them because they're 45, you know, 100 pounds overweight? Are we going to Disney World and going, my God, the world's gonna die? Like what are we doing? Like, what are we putting out there? Because that's exactly what you're doing. back in. So our frequencies that we speak and they listen to are gonna make a huge difference in your stress level. So pop on some good music, right? Pop on some good music to help you relax as well. Because it does. And stress isn't just a moment. Stress is all day. Stress is 24-7. If we're stressed out during the emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: day we're gonna stress out at night, take some GABA. No, it's a hormone. So be careful. But a gab GABA can help relax the body beautifully. It controls all the electricity in the body. And when you have lights and cameras and phones and LED TVs and everything else around your body, you need that relaxation. And so making sure that we can bring in that music and we can turn off all the blue lights and we can we can go back to a bit of mother nature and really go get the amber lights. Put amber lights all over your home. No overhead lighting after the sun sets. Like no more overhead lights for you guys. Like really bring it down. removing all the electronics out of the sleeping environment. If you if you the only way you can watch a movie is in your bed, that's under that's you know unfortunate, but at least unplug it when you go to bed. so like really look for things that you can do. We've had people literally and I'm gonna I'm gonna put this out there because if you're wanting to get pregnant this could work for you too, turn off the breaker box to your bedroom. Turn off no electricity at all. That means there's no transients in the walls of your home, which we're not talking about today, but Transients is dirty electricity. And this is where you can you can you can you can measure the kilohertz, right? and you can find out from the the transient electricity what what the kilohertz reading is in your own bedroom, and that can be causing emmamma: Mm. ZuZu!: disruption because it's pulsing negative it's pulsing positive, negative, positive, negative all night long. Well, that's not relaxing to you. And so, really, if we stop and look at the electrical surroundings and we get rid of the Wi Fi, you know, we we unplug everything and we turn off the breaker or whatever you need to do, and please get the Wi Fi. as far away from you as possible. We don't even in I have Ethernet run through my whole 5,000 square foot home or 4,500. So like it's Ethernet. My whole 69 acres. I have a hot spot in our Airbnb and one in our office for at night when we are for security. But I very much try to eliminate any kind of Wi-Fi signals because they are very disruptive and cause more stress and we already have enough stress. emmamma: Yeah, absolutely. I so I feel like this kind of goes along, but I with the same kind of concept. But I think a huge part of this and probably your experience with your own life and just as a whole with your pract practitioner, but creating like a safe internal and external environment probably really helps with healing. Would you like to share anything around what you what your values are around that or what that looks like? ZuZu!: Yeah, well the new thing is boundaries, right? But people don't understand there's emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: boundaries and then there's control and they're they're they're very different. They're so different. So if you're like put up your boundary, that's it, I'm not gonna tell my mother ever again. Honey, you probably will never get pregnant unless she's like really evil and like cursed you and like is tearing your life apart or something. But I think we're doing a lot of harm by trying to protect ourselves by cutting everyone out of our lives. That's not how you grow as an individual. That's just silly, right? and so I really do around your home, yeah, boundaries, you don't Want anything evil coming into your home. You don't want disruptive forces. I will tell you what I did when I raised my family and when I was getting pregnant. I had words you couldn't say. So my kids grew up knowing that shut up was a S word. That was they literally thought that shut up was the S word because I homeschooled. And when I became a single mom, they went to school for a couple of years, like mom, everyone says the S word. I'm like, Okay, no, shut up is not no shut up is not allowed. I wish was never allowed in our home because that meant they weren't thankful for what they had. Then so we really did a lot of gratitude for what we had. they obviously We didn't say, you know, we didn't take and taking God's name in vain is not actually saying, my god, by the way. That's like using him incorrectly, but whatever you want to view on that, but we didn't allow that in our home. so a hate that was a word that was never, never, never allowed in our home was hate. so we had specific rules and we had them posted in our fridge so the friends couldn't say them either. So people knew, hey, you couldn't say these things or act like this in our home. And we were like the home. We had the game room, people came from all my kids, brought all their friends over, even at 11 at night, 30. Of them showed up after a play one time and mom, can you make some food? I'm like, sure. You know, because they felt safe there, that's what you want to get. I am a plant fanatic. Plants will make a huge change in your life. Huge change in your life. Getting plants, if you have animals, clean them up every single day, be getting rid of the hair. Having hair everywhere isn't a cozy environment. It really isn't. It is an environment where people come in, like, you know, automatically, right. And you may not be aware of that, but that is something I'm gonna I am gonna recommend. Please don't hate me either. Don't be I'm not a I'm not an animal hater, but I'm like just keep your home tidy. I don't care about dusting, but keeping things like keeping things clean is really important, even for your family and for you. It's like when you go to the toilet and your your boys have been peeing all over it. that was never allowed, by the way. If any boy dripped or my husband dripped on that toilet, they were cleaning it because that was not my job to clean up their urine. So put your put your boundaries up for what you want in your home. Where you operate well. Is it having nice music in your home? Do you want flowers all the time on your counter? Do you want to have a pineapple because it raises the frequency of your kitchen? Like, look for things that you want that you would feel safe in that environment. So if you come in the house and the backpacks lying everywhere drive you crazy, then then you put up hooks for the backpacks, right? So like maybe all of you come in your home because it's your it's your castle, right? It's where you are growing life and creating life. What causes you stress? Love feng shui. I really, really do. So I do encourage everyone to study a little bit of the Bogwa and figure out like, okay, when I walk in, is there a bunch of crap behind the door? Is there and maybe have someone come on who and I have students that who teach this as well, but find someone who comes in and can teach more on that, or I can come up sometime, but like really understanding how the energy flows in the in your home is huge. You won't believe the difference by moving your parrot from one location to the back corner. Like you will not believe. The difference it makes in your home. When you add, you know, a red carpet over here, or you do this. I know it sounds crazy, but it's not 5,000 years they've been using feng shui for a reason. And in many, many, emmamma: Yeah. Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: many places around the world, they will do geographical stress on a lines on your property before you even build your building or your house. Like they feng shui property emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: and tell you how to position your home, you know, so that your the energy is flowing beautifully through your home. You know, you Put your bed on the East Wall. I mean, there's just so many little things that can actually make an incredible impact. I know that because I've helped a lot of people do that, but just look at your own home. That's where you need to start. So you you don't gotta start by even buying anything. You can start with everything you already own, clean it up, you know, declutter and clean up your own your own environment to where you feel safe and happy. And then other people are gonna feel safe and happy there too, including your babies. emmamma: Yeah, that's so good. I love that. I know we could probably talk for hours and hours and hours. So can you think of what else you want listeners to walk away with or what else you want to hear them to hear today? ZuZu!: The number one thing is your if you have a hormonal issue, don't start with your endocrinologist. Now I know that goes against everything we've been taught. But here, hear me out here. Hormones are chemicals that are made by the endocrine system and they're in your bloodstream. Neurotransmitters are made by the nervous system, right? And they're electric, right? They're all out there, right? So we've got hormones. That are c that are being released by your endocrine glands, right? Biome as you you know all of them. Anyhow, and so But the nervous system, the neurotransmitters control the electricity of the body. They control your endocrine system. And so when people are like, yeah, I went to my endocrinologist and he put me on your own progesterone and blah blah blah, I'm like, my gosh, no. What did you do for your nervous system? they didn't even talk about that. well, guess what? Because if you are not making enough serotonin, you will never get rid of your stress, right? If you don't make enough, and actually I mean also acetylcholine, like acetylcholine, you'll have digestive issues, you'll be all tight in your gut, you will not have, you will not be. Calming down, you need to be making acetylcholine, right? That is a neurotransmitter that controls so much of your life, you don't even realize it. So then you run just take hormones. And I'm not a go run and take hormones. I'm 58, right? And I don't take hormones, right? I take a home. I just started three days ago with taking a homeopathy that has some estrogen in it. It's like, huh, I wonder if I could use a little bit of because I did one of my biofeedback tests and it was like low in estrogen. I've never had that. I'm like, huh? Well, I'm not gonna go take estrogen, but I don't have any problem working on my My nervous system, and which I already am, and then I'm taking some homeopathy of estrogen. And I've had the most awesome dreams the last two nights. I'm like, wow, I wonder if that's a benefit. Wow, that's awesome, right? So, like, you know, don't be afraid to look at the nervous system. And that's why I like homeopathy. Homeopathy works on the nervous system. That's what it does, right? And so I don't know. I guess that would be my one of my takeaways is please don't just go get a hormone. Please don't put your husband on testosterone. Please, please, please, please, please look upstream at what's going on. Because if emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: you haven't tried B pollen, you haven't tried maca, if you haven't worn the yes, they're weird, but well, please wear them. And they look cool now. They made some cool ones, you know, the EMF protective underwear. Make sure you're wearing cotton. my gosh, if you're wearing polyester trying to get pregnant, that's gonna take you 10 times as long. If not a hundred times, polyester is such a disruptor of energy in the body. So get rid of polyester cute little underwear because your husband actually doesn't care only girls care right really only you care when you look at them is it cute no guys do not care there this is this is how men think just I hope this is okay I asked this my husband I said honey do you do you like this outfit or whatever I had I had asked him he said honey did did we make love yesterday I'm like yeah are we gonna make love again I said yeah he goes I don't care what you wear it's that simple girls like they don't care emmamma: Yeah. They don't. ZuZu!: They don't care about eyelashes, emmamma: They don't. Absolutely. ZuZu!: right? They don't care. Like they just want to make love and be with you because like you're theirs and they love you and they want to provide for you. Let them be men, right? Anyhow, that was okay to say. But but I do like get rid of your polyester for both of you. they probably don't care because they only wear polyester, but like don't Just let go, let go, let go, let go of what you think you have to look like and what you think you have to say and what you think and just go with what's coming from in here. I am someone who believes in God. So I I don't affiliate with any religion, but my gosh, I love, love, love God. And so I do find a lot of peace going to a creator and and communicating with creation because it's all around us. It's inside of you, every cell is like amazing. So finding a little bit more peace there will help, but don't forget. You know, you've got this lion inside of you that can be a lot stronger than anything you're hearing on your phone or you're watching on a podcast. You have a you have you pretty much have a lot of the answers inside. And so start with food and nourishment and and love that nervous system by eating more oil and eliminating sugar. Sugar destroys the myelin sheath of the nervous system, just destroys it. So try to avoid your grain and your sugar and your dairy as much as you possibly can. just like Your breasts are going to be tender and beautiful and full of milk for your baby with the exact proper proportions of proteins and fats and carbohydrates. The milk from a cow is the same way. That heifer is going to give birth and she's going to feed that 60-pound baby to hundreds of pounds, which is what most Americans look like when they live on dairy. So, like we really need to let go of the wet nurse because that is not actually healthy for us unless it's coming right from the cow the day that it that you're milking it. So be Careful with your food because you are creating an environment that is going to nestle a baby from the moment of consumption, right? We have this incredible energy burst of light that fills you and your womb, and then everything that that baby needs is gonna come out of your blood. And so what you're eating, what you're drinking, what you put on your skin is going to affect the baby, and what you're wearing with polyester and what you're exposed to when it comes to EMFs, the people in your life make a huge difference because their energy level. Are going to affect your energy levels. And all of you look emmamma: Mm-hmm. ZuZu!: forward to that when that baby is born and that baby is crying. When dad or your favorite sister or another child you've had, when they come up and talk, that baby's going to calm down. Well, guess what? The toxic people in your life, whether it be a mother-in-law, whether it be your mom, whoever might be, and they come and talk to that baby isn't going to be comforting. So everything you surround yourself with is actually going to affect if you can get pregnant and then your entire pregnancy. So that's probably where would emmamma: Yeah. ZuZu!: leave it is always go upstream and start start where you can on all of those areas. I have one polyester shirt I like. I'm gonna keep it. Right? I don't a wardrobe of polyester, so emmamma: How that is so good. But I think that that's such an important thing to end with of just like we we can look at our lives as a whole and look at the upstream part and being able to focus on like holding space for ourselves and making sure that we're getting the things that we need to just be the best version of ourselves and then also share that with all of us around. ZuZu!: Yeah. Wonderful. emmamma: Well, thanks so much for being here. Can you tell people how they can find you and connect with you? ZuZu!: Well, you'll all be very happy that I finally have a social media team. They're full time now, which is great. And so, but Holistic Health Educators is our school of natural medicine. And we are opening up a program just for moms. No certification required, just a mom program. You are gonna love it, love it, love it. So that's coming. So just so you're aware that that'll be coming out by the end of 2026. But we also Zuzu unleashed, and I do have someone helping me with things that, you know, comments that come in right now. I think we're on Facebook and Instagram. Instagram, but that's exploding over the next couple of months. So you really it'll be much easier to find us. and then zuzuunleashed.com and then there's a new website coming for that as well. That's not up yet, but there's a lot happening, and we really would love to host you at Lily Fields. So if there's a group of you who want to come to you know middle Georgia and and play on 69 acres and enjoy our pool and our ponds and fish and have a labyrinth. I have a beautiful labyrinth, right? Like I this whole this is just emmamma: that's awesome. ZuZu!: a dream out here. And so just and then you can learn how to cook and you can just stay and enjoy. Just come. Come come come. emmamma: Awesome. Well yeah. Thanks so much for being here, Susie. I really appreciate it. And I know that people will keep learning so much from you. and thanks for taking a few a few moments to share with our audience. ZuZu!: Thank you, Emma, for having me, and thank you all of you for desiring what has brought me the most joy in my life, and that is children. I cannot imagine not being a mom. And I will tell you, there's a couple of my children when I left the religion that I'd raised my children in that don't talk with me anymore. That's so still okay. I didn't raise them for them. I raised them for me. I loved it. I loved being a mom and I loved them. And I'm glad that they're standing the principles that they believe are right. I don't I so that may happen, and you probably heard a lot of that and just let that go because you are entering motherhood which is the most rewarding thing you will ever do with your life. My children are incredible and they're my besties ever and I'm excited for you to have that in your life as well. Anyway we can help we definitely want you to experience that.
