- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the Rogue Recap.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hot takes, cold facts and zero respect for the official narrative.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Sit back, roll your eyes, and let's recap rogue style.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Hey everybody, it is Wednesday, March twenty fifth, and this
- 0:19Speaker 3: is the Rogue Recap. Thank you so much for joining.
- 0:23Speaker 3: I am Linda McLoughlin. Please follow us roguerecap dot com,
- 0:28Speaker 3: at lindamick and at Rogue Recap on x So. Today
- 0:32Speaker 3: I'm actually going to be uploading two shows because last
- 0:34Speaker 3: night it wouldn't upload. I don't know why, but I
- 0:38Speaker 3: did a show that you're going to hear or you
- 0:40Speaker 3: should have heard before this one, and it was all
- 0:43Speaker 3: about the murder of Sheridan Gorman, who died last Thursday,
- 0:47Speaker 3: freshman at Loyola University in Chicago and shot by this
- 0:53Speaker 3: illegal alien of Venezuelan national who came in in May
- 0:57Speaker 3: of twenty three after only being here for a month,
- 1:01Speaker 3: ended up shoplifting, was not removed from the country because
- 1:06Speaker 3: it's not a big enough crime. Right, entering the country
- 1:08Speaker 3: illegally and then stealing is not a big enough crime,
- 1:11Speaker 3: neither of these. So this is the ongoing conversation that
- 1:14Speaker 3: we keep having, which is it started under Biden and
- 1:18Speaker 3: Kamala and Obama and all these other liberal assholes who
- 1:21Speaker 3: start a cashless bail, and we need to be more tolerant,
- 1:24Speaker 3: and we can't have people just in jail because you know,
- 1:28Speaker 3: as Brandon Johnson, the mayor of Chicago says, jailing people,
- 1:32Speaker 3: apprehending people, arresting people, it's all racist. Okay, It's not
- 1:38Speaker 3: because you committed a crime, whether it be gosh, you know,
- 1:42Speaker 3: jaywalking to murder. In his eyes, it's because you're racist.
- 1:47Speaker 3: So I don't really know how that works, but that
- 1:51Speaker 3: I think is probably the larger part of an enormous
- 1:56Speaker 3: issue with identity politics and the constant reverse to it
- 2:01Speaker 3: by the left. It is nauseating. So I did this show.
- 2:07Speaker 3: We really focused on Pritzker because Pritzker is such a
- 2:11Speaker 3: horrible person. And what's interesting is he's one of these,
- 2:15Speaker 3: you know, good for the not me guys, because he
- 2:17Speaker 3: is a billionaire guys, a billionaire with a bee And
- 2:21Speaker 3: as I went over last night, you know, when you're
- 2:24Speaker 3: the heir to the Hyatt hotel fortune and all of
- 2:29Speaker 3: the subsidiaries that go with that brand, like you're not
- 2:33Speaker 3: living in everyday America. You're not worried about mortgage payments.
- 2:37Speaker 3: You're not worried about having to you know, lease a
- 2:40Speaker 3: car or how costly gas is. It's not a thing.
- 2:45Speaker 3: When you're a billionaire. You're in another echelon of wealth.
- 2:49Speaker 3: It's not even like people that are millionaires but they
- 2:52Speaker 3: have a lot of kids, or they have, you know,
- 2:53Speaker 3: a couple of houses or whatever. Right, It's it's always
- 2:56Speaker 3: the same thing, like you make more money and you
- 2:58Speaker 3: have more expenses and more problems because as you make more,
- 3:02Speaker 3: you spend more, and that's the reality of life. But
- 3:05Speaker 3: in Pritzker's case, that's not really a thing because him
- 3:08Speaker 3: and his brother and his sister, as heirs to this wealth,
- 3:12Speaker 3: they have this constant cycle of money because this is
- 3:16Speaker 3: a business that continues to grow. This is a business
- 3:18Speaker 3: that has been growing and there's no end in sight.
- 3:21Speaker 3: It's the Hyatt hotels, you know. I mean, it's just
- 3:23Speaker 3: insane and properties, I should say, because I have so
- 3:25Speaker 3: many other things. But that was Pritzker. We talked about
- 3:29Speaker 3: that last night, and just the sadness of you know,
- 3:32Speaker 3: Sheridan Gorman and the loss of yet another innocent young person,
- 3:39Speaker 3: I mean eighteen years old. It's almost for me like
- 3:42Speaker 3: silly to call her a woman, because I feel like,
- 3:45Speaker 3: you know, a minute ago, you were in high school
- 3:47Speaker 3: and it's your freshman year of college and you're starting
- 3:51Speaker 3: out and you decide to go out and go see
- 3:53Speaker 3: the northern lights, and somebody else is like, Nope, not tonight. Tonight,
- 3:57Speaker 3: I'm going to take your life and you're going to
- 3:58Speaker 3: die on the street. And yeah. So here's what's interesting
- 4:02Speaker 3: about this. So Blogoyevitch, rob Igloyevitch, you might remember him.
- 4:06Speaker 3: He was involved in politics in Chicago, went to jail
- 4:09Speaker 3: under Obama for all sorts of you know, scams, and he's,
- 4:15Speaker 3: you know, he's an interesting person. I don't really have
- 4:18Speaker 3: an opinion on him one way or the other. But
- 4:20Speaker 3: what I do think is interesting is he came out
- 4:23Speaker 3: today and he was talking about the murder of this
- 4:26Speaker 3: young girl and he said, and I'm quoting this from
- 4:29Speaker 3: his ex account, he said, sheard and Gorman's killer is
- 4:32Speaker 3: being held in isolation. I suspect Pritzker and the Democrats
- 4:36Speaker 3: are hiding him to cover up the fact that this
- 4:38Speaker 3: illegal immigrant killed an innocent young girl as a part
- 4:41Speaker 3: of a gang initiation. I know gang bangers, and I
- 4:44Speaker 3: know how they operate. I live with them for eight years,
- 4:47Speaker 3: and I know Pritzker and the Dems, and you better
- 4:49Speaker 3: believe I'm right. So what's interesting is he posts this
- 4:53Speaker 3: with a picture that came out online today. It's from
- 4:57Speaker 3: June of twenty twenty three, and it's of Hose Medina Medina,
- 5:01Speaker 3: and he's thrown up a gang sign. So Bilgoyevich, having
- 5:05Speaker 3: been in prison for a years, I kind of believe
- 5:07Speaker 3: him because he probably does know, not only from his
- 5:10Speaker 3: time in working in Chicago and being in office in Chicago,
- 5:12Speaker 3: but now obviously having been in prison with these people,
- 5:16Speaker 3: I'm sure he knows a lot more than the average bear.
- 5:19Speaker 3: And so all over today everybody's been, you know, circulating
- 5:23Speaker 3: this image of Medina, who technically was only here for
- 5:26Speaker 3: a month. I guess when this happened, and he's throwing
- 5:28Speaker 3: up these gang signs, you have to start to wonder. Now,
- 5:31Speaker 3: they did say he had tuberculosis, so I don't know
- 5:34Speaker 3: if that's true or not. For all we know, they
- 5:37Speaker 3: isolated him because they're trying to figure out how to
- 5:39Speaker 3: keep them quiet and make this go away, because it's
- 5:41Speaker 3: a very inconvenient story. But the larger issue that we
- 5:46Speaker 3: have here is if we have illegal immigrants coming in
- 5:49Speaker 3: and they're being released into society and we're trying to
- 5:53Speaker 3: figure out how to make all this stop, then you know,
- 5:57Speaker 3: we can't have people that are released by our government
- 6:00Speaker 3: where they say, oh, yeah, it doesn't matter because they
- 6:03Speaker 3: didn't have any the crime wasn't big enough. Right, So
- 6:07Speaker 3: when we're talking about people like Jose Medina and Sheridan Gorman,
- 6:11Speaker 3: the details do matter, they really do. And here's what
- 6:14Speaker 3: matters even more, just a little bit of eq, a
- 6:18Speaker 3: little bit of sensitivity to what is happening around you.
- 6:23Speaker 3: But Brandon Johnson, who is the mayor in Chicago, has
- 6:27Speaker 3: zero sensitivity at all. Today he had a press conference.
- 6:32Speaker 3: And mind you, this girl was killed a week ago tomorrow,
- 6:36Speaker 3: So think about her family. Think about what they're going through.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Think about all the pain that they are under right now,
- 6:43Speaker 3: having just lost their child, murdered at the hands of
- 6:46Speaker 3: an illegal immigrant who never should have been here and
- 6:49Speaker 3: putting her in the ground. And then you have no
- 6:53Speaker 3: media coverage, none of the mainstreams are talking about it.
- 6:57Speaker 3: And then all of a sudden people start to have
- 6:59Speaker 3: to talk about it because folks like us that are
- 7:04Speaker 3: out on x are making note of yet another young
- 7:07Speaker 3: woman murdered at the hands of a Democrat illegal alien
- 7:12Speaker 3: protected by Democrat sanctuary policies. And Brandon Johnson is like
- 7:18Speaker 3: the sanctuary city king, right. I mean, he's right up
- 7:20Speaker 3: there with Mom, Donnie and Hochel and all these assholes.
- 7:23Speaker 3: And so he has this event today where he's got
- 7:26Speaker 3: this snow removal truck that he's displaying at this community
- 7:31Speaker 3: press conference, and he had the community name and it's
- 7:35Speaker 3: called Abolish Ice, and he's given he's giving this press
- 7:40Speaker 3: conference speech and it is, honestly, it is shocking. I'm
- 7:45Speaker 3: just gonna play it because I can't even quote it.
- 7:48Speaker 3: To do it justice, you just have to hear and
- 7:50Speaker 3: excuse the wind because it's obviously very windy in Chicago.
- 7:53Speaker 3: You just have to hear what this asshole is saying.
- 7:55Speaker 3: It is incredibly out of touch, and it is so
- 8:00Speaker 3: disgusting and disrespectful to the Gorman family and.
- 8:05Speaker 4: To all of the residents who participated in our snowplow
- 8:09Speaker 4: naming contest.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Keep speaking up in every way, in any way that
- 8:15Speaker 1: you can.
- 8:16Speaker 4: I look forward to meeting with the Chicago ones who
- 8:18Speaker 4: submitted the winning names, and I look forward to seeing
- 8:21Speaker 4: our cities, pride, our spirit and even yes, our humor.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Represent us again next year.
- 8:29Speaker 4: And so with that, take a moment too, I guess
- 8:34Speaker 4: take in all that you all have been waiting for.
- 8:37Speaker 1: This moment is finally here.
- 8:39Speaker 4: The snowplow with the most boats, most juries, abolish Ice.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Yeah, hey, we're starting to hear.
- 8:53Speaker 5: Old.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I want to get a chance to marvel myself.
- 8:56Speaker 3: So I don't know if you've heard that resounding applause.
- 9:00Speaker 3: This guy, it is astonishing to me, is standing there
- 9:07Speaker 3: in front of a group of press talking about his
- 9:12Speaker 3: snowplow that he had a contest for where they get
- 9:16Speaker 3: to bash immigration agents that remove criminal illegal aliens that
- 9:23Speaker 3: do things like murder college students, rape small children, kidnap people,
- 9:31Speaker 3: people that get stabbed, people that get abused, people that
- 9:35Speaker 3: get carjacked, homes that are burglarized because they're in initiations,
- 9:41Speaker 3: any number of things that we talk about all the time.
- 9:45Speaker 3: And instead of saying, you know, I was going to
- 9:48Speaker 3: do this abolished Ice thing, but since that would be
- 9:51Speaker 3: super insensitive to the Gorman family, given the fact that
- 9:55Speaker 3: their daughter was murdered in my city less than a
- 9:57Speaker 3: week ago, I'm not going to do that. Instead, what
- 10:01Speaker 3: I am going to do is not have this press
- 10:05Speaker 3: conference about a stupid truck with a stupid name and
- 10:08Speaker 3: a stupid contest. Nobody is waiting for Brandon Johnson's truck.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Nobody is waiting for the unveiling. How clever is abolish ice? Bro?
- 10:19Speaker 3: Are you kidding me?
- 10:22Speaker 6: Like?
- 10:22Speaker 3: This is not creative? This is dumb, and it shows
- 10:27Speaker 3: how much you want to disenfranchise your city from the
- 10:30Speaker 3: federal government and the aid they can provide your citizens.
- 10:36Speaker 3: People feel unsafe in your city. People are murdered, people
- 10:41Speaker 3: are shot, people are hurt in your city every single day,
- 10:47Speaker 3: every single day, and on the weekends, times ten. And
- 10:51Speaker 3: instead of working on that, you have decided to focus
- 10:55Speaker 3: on DEI identity politics and fighting the federal government. You
- 11:00Speaker 3: hate Donald Trump and conservatives so much more than you
- 11:05Speaker 3: love the city of Chicago. It's the same argument that
- 11:08Speaker 3: I make for the Palestinians when they use their children
- 11:11Speaker 3: and their families as human shields, And I say, when
- 11:14Speaker 3: is it enough? When do you get to the spot
- 11:18Speaker 3: where you love your family more than you hate your enemy.
- 11:21Speaker 3: It's the same thing for Brandon Johnson. Brandon Johnson hates
- 11:25Speaker 3: Donald Trump, hates conservatives, hates people who love America so
- 11:31Speaker 3: much more than he cares about anybody that he represents.
- 11:34Speaker 3: And let's be honest, Brandon Johnson doesn't work for the people.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Brandon Johnson works for Brandon Johnson. You've seen the way
- 11:39Speaker 3: he speaks to reporters. You've seen the way that he
- 11:42Speaker 3: talks about people of color versus white people. You see
- 11:45Speaker 3: how everything becomes an issue about race. This is not
- 11:48Speaker 3: somebody looking to unify, bridge a divide, figure out how
- 11:52Speaker 3: to solve problems. He's the problem causer. He's the initiator
- 11:57Speaker 3: of divisiveness. So one of the reporters there had the gumption,
- 12:02Speaker 3: God bless her to actually ask the question, you know,
- 12:05Speaker 3: did you think this was you know, the right tone
- 12:08Speaker 3: and proper taste? Maybe you should have postponed. Listen to
- 12:12Speaker 3: his answer to this question. It is again, it's just
- 12:16Speaker 3: mind blowing. Did you reconsider scheduled rescheduling this event given
- 12:21Speaker 3: the ardan Gorman by an undocumented immigrants.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Well, look, as I've said before, my condolences to the.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Family of Sheridan.
- 12:36Speaker 2: This is a terrible tragedy, and what I've said from
- 12:41Speaker 2: the very beginning, I'm going to continue to use every
- 12:46Speaker 2: single tool that's available to me to protect the residents
- 12:49Speaker 2: of the city of Chicago. And this tragedy it's not
- 12:55Speaker 2: going to deter us from our work.
- 12:58Speaker 1: In fact, it's going to challenge us.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Oh, it's a double down on our efforts to ensure
- 13:02Speaker 4: that we are protecting every single individual across neighborhoods.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Hey, look, I'm going to use every tool in my
- 13:11Speaker 3: toolbox to fight back. What are you fighting? People are
- 13:16Speaker 3: getting killed on your watch? Are you not responsible for
- 13:18Speaker 3: any of that? And let me just say also realizing
- 13:22Speaker 3: this is a podcast, but just picture Brandon Johnson standing
- 13:26Speaker 3: in front of this stupid, abolish ice truck and he's
- 13:30Speaker 3: grinning from ear to ear, I mean, full smile, all
- 13:34Speaker 3: the teeth, the pearly whites are out. He is excited
- 13:38Speaker 3: to bash ice. He is excited to stand in front
- 13:42Speaker 3: of a giant snow removal truck. This is your aspirations
- 13:46Speaker 3: in life. This is what you're looking to do. Stand
- 13:49Speaker 3: in front of a snow removal truck and bash a
- 13:50Speaker 3: federal agency when somebody's mourning the loss of their child.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I mean, put yourself in somebody else's shoes for five minutes,
- 14:00Speaker 3: Just for five minutes. There's a lot of people who
- 14:03Speaker 3: get hurt every single day. There are people in the
- 14:06Speaker 3: last year who are Democrats, who are liberals, who are
- 14:09Speaker 3: raging lunatics, who have had great struggles, lost loved ones,
- 14:14Speaker 3: been murdered, and you know, people on the right, for
- 14:17Speaker 3: the most part, we're not out there, you know, excited
- 14:20Speaker 3: about your loss, continuing on with our day. I'm very
- 14:25Speaker 3: sorry that that happened to you. I don't think you're
- 14:27Speaker 3: a good person. I don't think you do good things,
- 14:31Speaker 3: but I don't wish the death of a loved one,
- 14:34Speaker 3: the murder of someone horrible things to happen to anybody. Well,
- 14:38Speaker 3: maybe a couple of people, but for the most part, anybody, right,
- 14:42Speaker 3: I really struggle with how these people just they relish
- 14:46Speaker 3: in the moment. It doesn't matter what's going on, nothing
- 14:49Speaker 3: is going to get in the way of their agenda
- 14:51Speaker 3: and what they are looking to do. So conversely to this,
- 14:58Speaker 3: there was testimony today on the Hill and one of
- 15:02Speaker 3: the people testifying about Department of Homeland Security and ICE,
- 15:07Speaker 3: the illegal immigrants and the tragedies that they bring to
- 15:11Speaker 3: American citizens is Joe Abram. And Joe Abram is also
- 15:15Speaker 3: from Illinois, and lost his daughter, Katie. And it's very,
- 15:21Speaker 3: very sad. His testimony is heartbreaking, and obviously you know
- 15:28Speaker 3: his testimony from a dad. I have to say I
- 15:31Speaker 3: was completely blown away by his composure because I don't
- 15:37Speaker 3: know how you can speak so eloquently and so directly,
- 15:42Speaker 3: truly directly the way that he did, and he calls
- 15:46Speaker 3: out Dick Durban. It's incredible. But just by way of background,
- 15:52Speaker 3: his daughter was Katie Abram. She was killed in a
- 15:55Speaker 3: hit and run car crash drunk driving. It was an
- 15:59Speaker 3: illegal alien by the name of Julio Kukubol, and it
- 16:02Speaker 3: was in Illinois, as I mentioned, And she was killed
- 16:07Speaker 3: on January nineteenth, twenty twenty five. And this is a
- 16:10Speaker 3: little piece of the story. This is actually from his
- 16:14Speaker 3: op ed and I'll quote it. Katie was violently killed
- 16:19Speaker 3: on January nineteenth, twenty twenty five, in a way no
- 16:22Speaker 3: parents should ever have to imagine. She was a passenger
- 16:25Speaker 3: in a car stopped at a red light when an
- 16:28Speaker 3: illegal alien driving drunk at nearly eighty miles an hour,
- 16:32Speaker 3: slammed into the back of their vehicle. The driver, a
- 16:36Speaker 3: Guatemala national in the county, illegally using a false Mexican
- 16:40Speaker 3: identification stole from us a bright, loving young woman with
- 16:45Speaker 3: her whole life ahead of her. Instead of acting with
- 16:49Speaker 3: compassion or foresight, Illinois leaders encouraged and even incentivized illegal immigration,
- 16:55Speaker 3: sending a dangerous message that anyone could come here without consequence.
- 16:59Speaker 3: That's not compassion, that's cruelty. It shows no regard for
- 17:03Speaker 3: the safety of residents and no empathy for the struggles, abuse,
- 17:07Speaker 3: and exploitations suffered by the very people making that perilous journey.
- 17:13Speaker 3: After Katie's death, I met with dozens of DHS and
- 17:16Speaker 3: ICE agents and support staff in Chicago. I sat down
- 17:20Speaker 3: with acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, and we spoke at
- 17:22Speaker 3: length about how open border policies are tearing apart our communities.
- 17:26Speaker 3: The contrast could not have been more stark. I was
- 17:29Speaker 3: struck by their professionalism, their compassion, and dedication. These men
- 17:33Speaker 3: and women are not villains that some politicians and activists
- 17:36Speaker 3: make them out to be. They are Americans trying to
- 17:39Speaker 3: do their jobs to restore order and balance after years
- 17:43Speaker 3: of dangerous neglect. Each of the dozens of men and
- 17:47Speaker 3: women I met were competent, professional, and deeply committed to
- 17:53Speaker 3: keeping our communities safer. So here's a man writing this
- 18:00Speaker 3: up ed talking about the death of his daughter. He
- 18:04Speaker 3: is sadly now going into a whole year now without
- 18:07Speaker 3: his beloved child. And today he gave testimony, and again
- 18:15Speaker 3: I am so incredibly amazed at this man's composure. I'm
- 18:19Speaker 3: going to play about a minute of what he said
- 18:21Speaker 3: today on the hill.
- 18:24Speaker 7: Katie's not a headline. She was not a statistic. She
- 18:29Speaker 7: was someone worth more than being ignored and made invisible,
- 18:32Speaker 7: especially in my state, just because her story was inconvenient.
- 18:40Speaker 5: She was my daughter.
- 18:43Speaker 7: She should be finishing school right now, she should be
- 18:46Speaker 7: planning for her future. She should still be laughing with
- 18:50Speaker 7: her family and friends. Instead, her urn sits in a
- 18:55Speaker 7: room reconstructed to remember her life. I can't bring Katie back,
- 19:04Speaker 7: but this committee has a power to examine what failed,
- 19:07Speaker 7: to demand transparency and to ensure policies are judged not
- 19:13Speaker 7: by their intentions but by their outcomes.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I absolutely love what he just said, that policies are
- 19:21Speaker 3: not judged by their intentions but by their outcomes. You see,
- 19:25Speaker 3: part of the problem of DHS and ICE and CBP
- 19:29Speaker 3: going into these locations is that the Democrats and the
- 19:32Speaker 3: Antifa and the Soros funding. They are already on the ground,
- 19:38Speaker 3: they're preparing to fight before anything happens. So what happens
- 19:43Speaker 3: is you end up fighting with all of these people
- 19:48Speaker 3: that are there to protest something that actually hasn't happened.
- 19:52Speaker 3: You have people following agents that are in pursuit of rapists, pedophiles,
- 19:57Speaker 3: murderers because they think that you're going after a citizen
- 20:02Speaker 3: or somebody that they feel isn't worthy of your attention.
- 20:05Speaker 3: These are regular citizens that are so defamatory to our agents.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Whether they're law enforcement agents, whether they are federal agents,
- 20:17Speaker 3: whether they're members of the Department of Homeland Security or
- 20:20Speaker 3: ICE or CVP, it doesn't matter. They have been told
- 20:24Speaker 3: that there are people that will bail them out of jail,
- 20:27Speaker 3: that will pay them a weekly salary, and all they
- 20:30Speaker 3: have to do is show up and cause havoc so
- 20:33Speaker 3: that these people cannot remove criminal, illegal aliens. We're not
- 20:39Speaker 3: just talking about undocumented persons who came here and they've overstayed,
- 20:44Speaker 3: but they're working, right, they have a family, they have
- 20:47Speaker 3: no criminal background, they're just working. But that's not who
- 20:51Speaker 3: these people are going after. I'm not saying they don't
- 20:53Speaker 3: go after those people too, because at the end of
- 20:54Speaker 3: the day, if you came here illegally, the word illegal
- 20:57Speaker 3: has meaning. It means that you did something that is
- 20:59Speaker 3: not lead period, end of sentence. But putting that to
- 21:02Speaker 3: the side for one moment, this is not who they're
- 21:05Speaker 3: going after. They're going after people who are committing heinous crimes.
- 21:11Speaker 3: And for some reason, people like in this state of Illinois,
- 21:15Speaker 3: their two senators are Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth, both
- 21:18Speaker 3: rabid lunatic liberals out of their minds. They would rather
- 21:23Speaker 3: every day stand by the side of these people who
- 21:30Speaker 3: only care about the undocumented. You know, there was a
- 21:33Speaker 3: tape that came out yesterday and it was Chris Murphy,
- 21:37Speaker 3: and Chris Murphy was saying it was an interview actually
- 21:40Speaker 3: that he did with Chris Hayes, and it was in
- 21:44Speaker 3: twenty twenty four, but he was asked the question, you know,
- 21:47Speaker 3: what do you think about illegal aliens and how do
- 21:51Speaker 3: you feel about what's happening and this and that, And
- 21:53Speaker 3: he proceeds to say, well, yeah, you know, the people
- 21:57Speaker 3: we care about the most are the under documented immigrants.
- 22:01Speaker 3: And everybody was like, whoa, So you actually said that
- 22:04Speaker 3: out loud? Interesting? I mean think about how insane that is.
- 22:10Speaker 3: This is a person who is an elected official in
- 22:14Speaker 3: the United States of America and he proceeds to say,
- 22:18Speaker 3: what I care about is actually the undocumented. I care
- 22:24Speaker 3: about the illegals. I don't care about anything else. And
- 22:27Speaker 3: I was like, oh my god. And here's the thing, right,
- 22:30Speaker 3: there's so much news all the time that we can't
- 22:33Speaker 3: even keep up with it. I don't I'm sure that
- 22:36Speaker 3: I heard this in twenty twenty four. I don't remember,
- 22:39Speaker 3: but it's definitely one of those things where you get
- 22:42Speaker 3: to a spot and you say, wow, that's really sick, man,
- 22:45Speaker 3: I can't believe you did that. And then you have
- 22:47Speaker 3: people like Dick Durbin who fight Donald Trump, and they
- 22:50Speaker 3: fight everybody every step of the way. And it's even
- 22:54Speaker 3: in the face of a situation like this where Joe
- 22:59Speaker 3: Abram is talking about his daughter Katie, or Brandon Johnson
- 23:02Speaker 3: is ignoring the death of Sheridan Gorman. So Joe Abram
- 23:06Speaker 3: today he gets, man, I don't have enough praise to
- 23:11Speaker 3: lavish on this man, because he really gave it to
- 23:13Speaker 3: Dick Durbin. This is really quick, It's only ten seconds.
- 23:16Speaker 5: But listen, what I don't understand is why my senator
- 23:21Speaker 5: of illinoid, mister Durban, haven't heard two words from him
- 23:25Speaker 5: toward me, but sorry, I want to take your time.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Kind of amazing.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I mean, think about that. He looks right at Dick
- 23:32Speaker 3: Durbin and he goes, I mean, doesn't even flinch. And
- 23:36Speaker 3: I have to imagine Durban, who's been in office since
- 23:38Speaker 3: nineteen ninety seven, was sitting there going oh shit. Because
- 23:43Speaker 3: what's interesting is as we watch our federal ary agents
- 23:47Speaker 3: try to help Americans, as we watch ICE go into
- 23:50Speaker 3: the airports, and we have people like you know Krasner
- 23:53Speaker 3: in Philadelphia, who's a totally sorows bought and paid operative.
- 23:57Speaker 3: This guy's bad news, such a bad man. But he's saying, oh,
- 24:01Speaker 3: I'm going to arrest the ICE agents that are here,
- 24:04Speaker 3: because these people are trying their best to do the
- 24:11Speaker 3: work of the President and help TSA. They're not there
- 24:15Speaker 3: to arrest anybody. They're not there to look for anybody.
- 24:19Speaker 3: The President even said I don't want you to wear masks,
- 24:22Speaker 3: which I have mixed feelings on that. I'm sure many
- 24:24Speaker 3: of you do too. But there's nobody there doing anything
- 24:29Speaker 3: except trying to alleviate some of the problems caused by
- 24:34Speaker 3: you guessed it, the Democrats. So I think when we
- 24:38Speaker 3: talk about that and we really kind of get down
- 24:41Speaker 3: to basics, it starts to make sense that we're dealing
- 24:44Speaker 3: with people that they just say no to anything if
- 24:48Speaker 3: it comes from Donald Trump. But how sad is it
- 24:51Speaker 3: that any of these people are in this position? This
- 24:55Speaker 3: again is Cheryl Mintor. This is Stephanie Mentor's mom. I
- 24:58Speaker 3: played this and yesterday's podcast, but it bears repeating. This
- 25:01Speaker 3: is the woman that was stabbed to death in Spamberger's
- 25:06Speaker 3: Virginia and the community. The Fairfax County prosecutor, the federal
- 25:13Speaker 3: judge who oversaw abdul Jola's hearing six years ago, said
- 25:19Speaker 3: that he should be removed. And Steve Descano, who is
- 25:22Speaker 3: the prosecutor there, he's a Democrat, and he said, absolutely not.
- 25:27Speaker 3: We're not going to remove him. So if the federal
- 25:29Speaker 3: judge says yes, he needs to be removed, and this
- 25:35Speaker 3: asshole comes in, he's the Fairfax Commonwealth attorney, former federal prosecutor,
- 25:42Speaker 3: and as he writes, I'm a proud Democrat, and he says, no,
- 25:46Speaker 3: we're not going to kick him out. So because he
- 25:49Speaker 3: doesn't kick him out, this guy goes he's been arrested
- 25:53Speaker 3: and released over thirty times, and he kills Stephanie Mentor,
- 25:58Speaker 3: who's waiting for a bus, standing at a bus stop,
- 26:01Speaker 3: not doing anything. How is that okay? And honestly, how
- 26:06Speaker 3: do you fight back against something like that when the prosecutors,
- 26:11Speaker 3: the governors, the senators, the congress people are all saying,
- 26:16Speaker 3: we don't care, we don't care, And if you get stabbed,
- 26:21Speaker 3: if you get shot, if you are murdered, and your
- 26:24Speaker 3: family comes to us, we're still not going to care.
- 26:27Speaker 3: And not only are we not going to care, we're
- 26:29Speaker 3: going to turn around, we're going to flip it on
- 26:30Speaker 3: you and we're going to say that you're a racist
- 26:32Speaker 3: and you're anti immigrant, and you don't believe in sharing
- 26:37Speaker 3: our amazing country with all of the wonderful and colorful
- 26:40Speaker 3: people that come here. Yeah, we would love to actually
- 26:43Speaker 3: if they were actually bringing something to the country. But
- 26:46Speaker 3: for the most part, when people come here, they're on
- 26:49Speaker 3: the welfare system. And why is that? Because our welfare
- 26:51Speaker 3: system is broken. We have so much fraud, and our
- 26:55Speaker 3: Medicaid and our Medicare we are paying for healthcare out
- 26:58Speaker 3: the yin yang for people that don't pay into the system.
- 27:01Speaker 3: We have fake businesses set up all over California and
- 27:05Speaker 3: in Minnesota that we know of so far, that surge
- 27:08Speaker 3: into the billions of dollars in federal funding. They don't
- 27:12Speaker 3: even exist. They don't even exist. And then they'll tell
- 27:17Speaker 3: you that we don't have enough money for our veterans,
- 27:19Speaker 3: we don't have enough money for homeless shelters, we don't
- 27:22Speaker 3: have enough money for more social workers, we don't have
- 27:25Speaker 3: enough money for foster care. Well, now we know why, guys,
- 27:30Speaker 3: because all of that money is being misappropriated deliberately, and
- 27:36Speaker 3: when you ask questions about it, they're mad at the
- 27:39Speaker 3: person asking the questions. I said this last night on
- 27:41Speaker 3: X I said, you know, you look at Nick Shirley,
- 27:44Speaker 3: and he's got to get paid security, hired guns to
- 27:49Speaker 3: walk around and protect him because people are out to
- 27:52Speaker 3: get him because he's exposing the fraud in California. So
- 27:55Speaker 3: instead of Gavin Newsom lavishing with him with support and praise,
- 28:01Speaker 3: he's saying, no, you're a terrible person because you're exposing
- 28:04Speaker 3: what's wrong with my state. Probably because him and his
- 28:06Speaker 3: wife Jen, they're on the take. He doesn't want anybody
- 28:10Speaker 3: getting in his way. It is shocking. And then you
- 28:13Speaker 3: look at Senator Lee, who is every night on the
- 28:17Speaker 3: Senate floor preaching, praising, lecturing, teaching us about the Save
- 28:22Speaker 3: Act and the legislative process so that we can be
- 28:26Speaker 3: better armed to fight back against our own representatives who
- 28:29Speaker 3: refuse to represent us eighty percent plus approval on a
- 28:34Speaker 3: bill that never happens in America. We can't agree on shit,
- 28:37Speaker 3: and we can't get our senators to go in and
- 28:39Speaker 3: make this a policy that we can all live in
- 28:41Speaker 3: a bye bye and we have to have Mike Lee
- 28:44Speaker 3: and they're getting mad at him. Why are you mad
- 28:47Speaker 3: at him? He didn't do anything wrong. And so full
- 28:50Speaker 3: circle back to Stephanie Mentor's mom. She's standing outside I
- 28:55Speaker 3: guess of a courthouse. I'm not sure where she was
- 28:57Speaker 3: when she gave this statement, but the press is there
- 29:00Speaker 3: and they're asking her about the murder of her daughter,
- 29:03Speaker 3: and she's like, I don't know where to turn, I
- 29:05Speaker 3: don't know what to do, and she's right, change.
- 29:10Speaker 6: Is got to happen with this. It's just guid to
- 29:14Speaker 6: I don't know where all these political people are. I mean,
- 29:21Speaker 6: they stopped serving citizens, they've just stopped again. I'm not
- 29:28Speaker 6: quite sure how they get voted in.
- 29:32Speaker 3: I mean, she is just a simple mom, right, just
- 29:37Speaker 3: standing there as a mom talking about her daughter that
- 29:40Speaker 3: she brought into this world, who was brutally murdered by
- 29:45Speaker 3: somebody who had been arrested over thirty times. And Steve Descano,
- 29:49Speaker 3: in my opinion, should be held responsible. He's complicit in
- 29:53Speaker 3: her murder. A federal judge that he should be removed,
- 29:56Speaker 3: but Steve said, now let him stay. Steve, how would
- 29:59Speaker 3: you like that if that happened to your daughter? Would
- 30:02Speaker 3: you be happy that somebody let him stay. That's what
- 30:05Speaker 3: needs to be said to these people, Just like Joe
- 30:09Speaker 3: Abram said to the face of Dick Durbin, you're awfully
- 30:11Speaker 3: quiet over there, Dickie. Nothing to say, always so much
- 30:16Speaker 3: to say when it's pomp him circumstance. But here I am.
- 30:19Speaker 3: I am a product of your sanctuary policies. I am
- 30:23Speaker 3: a product. I am what it looks like when this
- 30:25Speaker 3: doesn't work. So now that it hasn't worked, and you
- 30:29Speaker 3: will allowed it to happen, who takes the hit, who
- 30:32Speaker 3: takes the fall? It shouldn't be Joe Abram, he already
- 30:36Speaker 3: lost his daughter. Looks to me like maybe Dicky Durban
- 30:39Speaker 3: and Tammy Duckworth and Pritzker and Johnson should be in trouble.
- 30:44Speaker 3: They should be the people paying the price for the
- 30:47Speaker 3: murders of so many on his watch, including Katie Abram
- 30:52Speaker 3: and Sheridan Gorman. It's disgusting. I am praying for those families.
- 30:59Speaker 3: I really am. I believe even in the power of prayer,
- 31:02Speaker 3: but I think at times like this, you really have
- 31:04Speaker 3: to do this.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Guys.
- 31:06Speaker 3: We are in a lot of trouble here. We need
- 31:08Speaker 3: the Save Act, we need to support our troops, we
- 31:11Speaker 3: need to protect the people here at home. I'm so
- 31:13Speaker 3: desperately afraid that a decade from now, this country's going
- 31:16Speaker 3: to look a lot different if we don't get a
- 31:18Speaker 3: hold of these assholes in Congress. You are listening to
- 31:22Speaker 3: the road Recap. I am Lenda McLaughlin. Please check us
- 31:25Speaker 3: out road recap dot Com, at road Recap at Lennamic.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Pray for our troops, Pray for these families, and we'll
- 31:32Speaker 3: see you tomorrow. Good Night, everybody,
