- 0:22Speaker 2: to him every weeknight nine to midnight on seven to
- 0:26Speaker 2: ten WR, and then make sure you watch his Saturday

- 0:32Speaker 2: best late night show in television. It opens with the
- 0:36Speaker 2: single best monologue in television. It's every Saturday night at
- 0:40Speaker 2: ten Fox News Channel. But make sure you're listening tonight
- 0:43Speaker 2: WR nine to midnight. Jimmy Fayla, how you doing?
- 0:47Speaker 1: My man? Me and you might be the only two
- 0:50Speaker 1: sober people in this city right now with a ticker
- 0:53Speaker 1: tape parade going down the block.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I was.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I came in early. I had an early morning TV today.
- 1:00Speaker 3: There were people.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Drinking twelve packs on a on a five to five
- 1:05Speaker 1: train this morning. What America America is back? They drinking
- 1:10Speaker 1: and they were drinking bud Lights by the way, So
- 1:12Speaker 1: we really are.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Back because bud Light's acceptable.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Again.
- 1:14Speaker 1: It was a great It was a feel good moment.
- 1:16Speaker 1: It was a moment of redemption for the city and
- 1:18Speaker 1: for the country.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Yeah, be honest, is it too much? Too much with
- 1:22Speaker 2: the Knicks already? Have we had enough of this?
- 1:27Speaker 1: We haven't done this in fifty three years.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Okay, this would be like if Joe Biden completed a sentence.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Okay, the world is gonna take notice.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Okay, It's gonna get people just for the historic implications.
- 1:41Speaker 1: And I get it if you're not like a die
- 1:43Speaker 1: hard guy who hangs out at the garden, yet you
- 1:45Speaker 1: saw it, you were excited for the city and you
- 1:47Speaker 1: moved on. But for these people, this is one of
- 1:50Speaker 1: the big trappings of the whole thing, is you get
- 1:53Speaker 1: that residual partying effect, you get the you know, you
- 1:56Speaker 1: get the city hall experience. You know. And the Knicks
- 1:59Speaker 1: are riding highe because mom Donnie hasn't told them he's
- 2:01Speaker 1: going to confiscate sixty percent of their bonuses. Yet it's
- 2:04Speaker 1: gonna be a totally different ceremony.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it's gonna changed dramatically. You know.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Saturday night there was a lot of violence and people arrested,
- 2:14Speaker 2: a couple of shootings, a bus set on fire. Are
- 2:17Speaker 2: we gonna be okay after this parade? There's millions of
- 2:19Speaker 2: people there.
- 2:20Speaker 1: This is a difference. Okay, this parade is happening at
- 2:24Speaker 1: you know, ten eleven in the morning. Yeah, it's a
- 2:27Speaker 1: little different than winning the title at midnight on Saturday,
- 2:30Speaker 1: where everybody was already hopped up. Like the timing matters,
- 2:34Speaker 1: they're giving us ten thousand cops.
- 2:35Speaker 3: I have faith in the city on this one.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And as bad as those videos look, I'll have you know,
- 2:40Speaker 1: like you know that that was a five on a
- 2:43Speaker 1: scale of like one to Philadelphia. Okay, the Eagles win
- 2:48Speaker 1: a playoff game, the over under on police horses getting
- 2:51Speaker 1: punched is like twelve and a half in Vegas, Right,
- 2:54Speaker 1: that's good.
- 2:55Speaker 3: The idea that we're on a bus and a.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Couple of cabs, I mean, we'll recover.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, last time they won a championship, it
- 3:03Speaker 2: was nineteen seventy three. There was no parade. The city
- 3:06Speaker 2: couldn't afford it then, so they just threw apart. Wow.
- 3:10Speaker 1: So well, yeah, you would have got mugged on the
- 3:12Speaker 1: route back then.
- 3:14Speaker 3: It was you didn't know what it was showing.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Nobody was trusted on anything getting thrown out a window
- 3:18Speaker 1: in nineteen seventy three New York City. And that's before
- 3:21Speaker 1: Gerald Ford told us to go screw. I mean, think
- 3:23Speaker 1: about that. But that long ago. So that's why they
- 3:27Speaker 1: were as hopped up as they are. And I listen,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I think it's cool because I like civic pride and
- 3:32Speaker 1: this city hasn't had any in a long time. So
- 3:36Speaker 1: the fact that we have something like this is kind
- 3:38Speaker 1: of funny. But what you're gonna notice is, you know,
- 3:41Speaker 1: sports is a very fair weather sting, and we have
- 3:45Speaker 1: all of these Knicks fans right now. You know. I
- 3:48Speaker 1: know if you were walking down this street a year ago,
- 3:50Speaker 1: you didn't see a lot of Knicks merch on the sidewalk,
- 3:53Speaker 1: you know. So it's a front running town. It's the
- 3:56Speaker 1: Nets won the NBA title. Next year, half of these
- 3:58Speaker 1: people would be in Brooklyn with jay Z being like,
- 4:01Speaker 1: we did it, you know, But it's fun. It's still fun.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla, I'll be totally honest. I was never a
- 4:06Speaker 2: basketball fan. I don't think I ever watched a basketball
- 4:09Speaker 2: game in my life. I started watching the Championships the Knicks,
- 4:13Speaker 2: and I kind of got hooked on it, and I
- 4:15Speaker 2: got to admit that I was always a baseball fan.
- 4:18Speaker 2: But that's kind of slow. This basketball stuff, it's pretty quick.
- 4:21Speaker 2: It's a lot easier to watch, and you think it'll lot.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Plus everyone's seats, so everyone is sitting so close to
- 4:28Speaker 1: the court that there's a lot of good like peripheral scenery.
- 4:32Speaker 1: You see the celebrities in every shot, you know, you
- 4:36Speaker 1: see the groupies.
- 4:37Speaker 3: You want me to tell you real funny stories, do
- 4:39Speaker 3: you martimone you missed in New York?
- 4:40Speaker 1: You have the high security clearance there is. When Taylor
- 4:43Speaker 1: Swift went to the game last week at the Garden,
- 4:46Speaker 1: a lot of people layers specifically too, were mad that
- 4:49Speaker 1: she was there because she was sitting in three seats
- 4:52Speaker 1: that normally have the hottest groupies in the history of
- 4:56Speaker 1: the NBA. It's right by the bench, so there's a
- 5:00Speaker 1: lot There are a lot of players that were actually.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Bummed out to see Taylor Swift there.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Especially because she was in Cleveland rooting for the Calves
- 5:07Speaker 1: with Travis Kelcey on the round. You're right, Yeah, she
- 5:10Speaker 1: was there in a Cabs T shirt in the second round,
- 5:12Speaker 1: and then she showed.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Up like Miss New York. No, I'm gonna have my
- 5:15Speaker 3: wedding here.
- 5:16Speaker 1: No one buys it.
- 5:17Speaker 2: So, oh, you know, you're right. I never thought of
- 5:20Speaker 2: She's like a pandering Chuck Schumer type politician, Like totally.
- 5:24Speaker 1: And we could have had some rap video vixen sitting courtside,
- 5:28Speaker 1: you know, like real looking Kardashians, but instead we got
- 5:32Speaker 1: Taylor Swift and her pretend Nick fan friends.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, and you're right, those baseball groupies are
- 5:38Speaker 2: kind of rough around the edges.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a different animal, man. But in the NBA,
- 5:44Speaker 1: I will tell you this man they have if you
- 5:47Speaker 1: get in it, if you get into watching it, as
- 5:49Speaker 1: you know, very fast paced, but nothing matters till the
- 5:52Speaker 1: last three minutes. And these playoffs proved it. I mean
- 5:55Speaker 1: the next you know, how many games would you normally
- 5:57Speaker 1: shut off if somebody was down twenty nine points and
- 6:00Speaker 1: they won the game. So like this past Saturday when
- 6:02Speaker 1: the next we're playing an our TV show was on,
- 6:04Speaker 1: you know, they were like, well hopefully it's a blowout
- 6:07Speaker 1: and then you'll get more ratings because people are.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Shut it off.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I'm like, they're not going to shut it off because
- 6:10Speaker 1: if they came back from twenty nine. You're not going
- 6:12Speaker 1: to shut it off if they're down by thirty, you know.
- 6:15Speaker 1: But it worked out. We had a good one. And
- 6:16Speaker 1: by the way, I have to tell you this, I
- 6:18Speaker 1: meant to say this, said hello. We had a family
- 6:20Speaker 1: come to the taping last week that listens to you
- 6:22Speaker 1: pretty religiously here on the radio. And they're like, we didn't.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Know who you were.
- 6:26Speaker 1: We're some own people.
- 6:27Speaker 3: And I was, go, get out of here.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah right.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Jimmy Fail does Sergeant Slaughter.
- 6:33Speaker 2: He does the best late night show in television. It's
- 6:35Speaker 2: Saturday nights at ten, but they tape at Friday evening
- 6:38Speaker 2: and you can go. It's free. You can come sit
- 6:41Speaker 2: in the audience to meet all kinds of celebrities. And
- 6:43Speaker 2: where do they get the tickets?
- 6:45Speaker 1: So the tickets are at Fox Across America dot com.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Foxacross America dot com.
- 6:51Speaker 1: They're free. You just got to go there and register.
- 6:53Speaker 1: This week Friday night's taping. Boy George's on the show.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Remember Boy George.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Yeah, for I'm a chameleon. Boy George probably coming this.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Youel some of his jackets out of my closet, say hey,
- 7:03Speaker 1: where'd you get this? Now?
- 7:05Speaker 3: You know else is on this week from the Yeah,
- 7:07Speaker 3: go ahead, you take it away.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I was gonna say, if you want to go, you
- 7:10Speaker 2: invite some people. Go get the tickets. They're free. You
- 7:12Speaker 2: don't have to tell them they're free. You just say, hey,
- 7:14Speaker 2: I've arranged for us to go to Fox and meet
- 7:17Speaker 2: Jimmy Faylor will sit in there. It's a just go
- 7:19Speaker 2: to Fox across America dot com, get the tickets, Fox
- 7:23Speaker 2: across America. Who else is on this week?
- 7:26Speaker 1: Oh? From the remember of the movie American Pie. Shannon Elizabeth,
- 7:30Speaker 1: the star of.
- 7:30Speaker 3: The movie, the woman who played the.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Funny story because she was a goddess. In the movie
- 7:36Speaker 1: American Pie, she plays the exchange student who's the female lead.
- 7:39Speaker 1: She actually has an OnlyFans. Now, I'm gonna have to
- 7:42Speaker 1: go research that for the interview. But no, she's a big,
- 7:46Speaker 1: you know, big Hollywood gal. And there's a rapper this week,
- 7:49Speaker 1: Walk a Flock of Flame. So walk a flock of Flame.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Boy George Shannon Elizabeth, And I might be wearing like
- 7:56Speaker 1: a zebra print jacket because if boy George is on,
- 7:58Speaker 1: nothing I wear is going to be just tracting.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Yeah, uh so, I know it's your guess. Yeah, it's
- 8:03Speaker 2: always a big name. It's always a very funny person
- 8:07Speaker 2: and it's always a hot looking woman. You always seem
- 8:08Speaker 2: to work that into the guest line.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Funny thing about TV mark is people like to look
- 8:13Speaker 3: at it. It's a very visual medium.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You don't call it fox news for nothing, pal, Who
- 8:19Speaker 1: are bringing in as many Foxes as I can get
- 8:21Speaker 1: on the show? I need a little ratings I can get.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, So that's why you're saying, well, how come MSNBC
- 8:27Speaker 2: doesn't get any ratings? Look at the women they have.
- 8:33Speaker 1: It's at you, Yeah too much. They all look every
- 8:36Speaker 1: woman on ms MSNBC looks like Stephen Pulbert. That's the point.
- 8:40Speaker 3: You're watching an.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Even Pulbert lookalike contest half the time. That just kills
- 8:46Speaker 1: the mood when they're condescending.
- 8:47Speaker 3: To you, you know, And that's that's why we win.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Man. They're they're good looking, intelligent people and they're making
- 8:53Speaker 1: it work.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Yeah, CNN, MSNBC, they all look like angry librarians scolding you.
- 8:58Speaker 3: But a good point.
- 9:00Speaker 2: So who do you? Also? Listen to Jimmy Fayla on
- 9:04Speaker 2: the radio every weeknight nine to midnight, Big Show Tonight.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Who does he have on tonight?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Oh Man. So I think Larry Trump is back tonight
- 9:12Speaker 1: and one of a comic I like a lot. Ali
- 9:16Speaker 1: Breen who is? She is a New York stand up
- 9:19Speaker 1: comedy legend for her work at the Comedy club Bar.
- 9:23Speaker 1: She's a very funny girl, but she's been doing stand
- 9:26Speaker 1: up a long time. Super funny, great hangout like, she's
- 9:29Speaker 1: a great after party guest too. You gotta understand a
- 9:32Speaker 1: lot of these bookings on my show, it's just who
- 9:35Speaker 1: is a good atmosphere to hang out with? Because if
- 9:37Speaker 1: they're fun at the after party, they're fun on the air.
- 9:40Speaker 1: That's the point the people. You know, you're not gonna
- 9:42Speaker 1: meet anybody who's really fun to hang out with. It's
- 9:44Speaker 1: the stiff on the air. So that's really the metric.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I book people that are fun and if they're fun,
- 9:49Speaker 1: it makes good TV.
- 9:50Speaker 2: All right, well it's gonna be good stuff. Listen tonight
- 9:53Speaker 2: every weeknight Jimmy fayl Is on w o R nine
- 9:55Speaker 2: to midnight. It's a great show. And then make sure
- 9:57Speaker 2: you're watch this Saturday night show Fox this channel ten
- 10:00Speaker 2: o'clock every Saturday night. Jimmy failed great stuff. Thanks for
- 10:04Speaker 2: being with us.
- 10:05Speaker 3: You're a battle season buddy.
- 10:06Speaker 2: All right, take care. Oh, let's go. The parade is
- 10:10Speaker 2: going on right now, the Canyon of Heroes, and millions
- 10:15Speaker 2: of people are there, and we've got our Ace correspondent
- 10:19Speaker 2: Natalie Migliore, who's at the scene. Natalie, are you there?
- 10:23Speaker 3: Oh?
- 10:24Speaker 4: I am there, But I got to tell you, Mark,
- 10:25Speaker 4: I think I might be a little secondhand high here.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Everybody is celebrating by rolling up a jointed scenes and
- 10:36Speaker 4: really this is quite an atmosphere around here. I'm still
- 10:40Speaker 4: where I've called you last time, along Broad along Warren Street.
- 10:46Speaker 4: I'm actually watching an MTA bus try to part the
- 10:49Speaker 4: seas of people to make it south down the street.
- 10:54Speaker 4: So it feels like every hour that we remain here
- 10:59Speaker 4: it gets a it'll be crazier and a little bit
- 11:01Speaker 4: more packed.
- 11:02Speaker 2: And what would you say the crowd age wise is
- 11:05Speaker 2: it's a pretty young crowd.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Where I am right now, it seems pretty young. Yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 4: I see a lot of young people. I mean, earlier
- 11:12Speaker 4: this morning I was talking to older people though, who
- 11:15Speaker 4: were saying that they've been waiting for decades so see
- 11:19Speaker 4: the NIX win championships. So there's definitely a mixed croud
- 11:24Speaker 4: throughout the day. But a lot of what I'm seeing
- 11:25Speaker 4: right now along West Broadway is pretty young people streaming
- 11:29Speaker 4: up and down the streets, so they're kind of fighting
- 11:31Speaker 4: the curring.
- 11:32Speaker 2: So you said you can smell pot everywhere? Are you
- 11:34Speaker 2: seeing a lot of drinking there everywhere?
- 11:37Speaker 4: Not as much drinking. There are some guys who are
- 11:40Speaker 4: you know, the good old classic put it in a
- 11:43Speaker 4: paper bag and take a few SIPs out a fit
- 11:45Speaker 4: while the cops are at looking. But no, there's definitely
- 11:49Speaker 4: that smell of pot in the air. It's been like
- 11:51Speaker 4: that all morning, from the time I started up the
- 11:55Speaker 4: street on Chambers all the way down to the Oculus
- 11:58Speaker 4: and now over here on West Broadway. Yeah, people are
- 12:01Speaker 4: spirits are high, but maybe so are the people.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Well okay, so uh now what about the police present?
- 12:07Speaker 2: A lot of cops right, We hope there's a lot
- 12:09Speaker 2: of cops here.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Have you police presence?
- 12:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:11Speaker 4: A few minutes ago, a few moments before we got
- 12:13Speaker 4: on the air, actually I watched police officers start moving
- 12:17Speaker 4: people off one of the sidewalks. They were asking them
- 12:20Speaker 4: to move, and you know, sometimes people get combative, but
- 12:23Speaker 4: everybody listened, everybody followed orders, they got up, they left.
- 12:27Speaker 4: So if there's no, uh, there's not a lot of
- 12:30Speaker 4: tension from what I'm seeing right now.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Hey, they so they're expecting a million people, I'm hearing
- 12:36Speaker 2: they're get got more like two to three million, maybe
- 12:38Speaker 2: four million.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 2: And they said at seven point thirty all the slots
- 12:41Speaker 2: to be watched the parade were full. So all those
- 12:44Speaker 2: millions of excess people, where did they go? Where are they?
- 12:47Speaker 4: They overspilled mark out into Lower Manhattan. They are literally
- 12:54Speaker 4: crawling all over the city. They are, I mean like
- 12:59Speaker 4: they are. So the Oculus is an avenue off of
- 13:03Speaker 4: where the parade route is that was filled to the brim,
- 13:07Speaker 4: filled to the brim with people just packed like sardines.
- 13:10Speaker 4: You go a little bit further west on the West Broadway,
- 13:13Speaker 4: the people are streaming a steady stream, but they're not
- 13:18Speaker 4: they're not completely tacked in, and it's still not easy
- 13:22Speaker 4: to make your way up and down the city. So
- 13:25Speaker 4: within these three this three block radius, that's where all
- 13:29Speaker 4: the people went. They just want to stand as close
- 13:32Speaker 4: to the parade as they can. And those people by
- 13:35Speaker 4: the Oculus were hoping that they would be close to
- 13:37Speaker 4: us if they climbed on a garbage truck, which we
- 13:40Speaker 4: saw people climbing on garbage trucks or if they climbed
- 13:44Speaker 4: on a traffic light. They were just hoping to at
- 13:48Speaker 4: least catch some sort of glimpse between the building of
- 13:51Speaker 4: the parade.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Wow, so they're not going home and all that. Well,
- 13:58Speaker 2: it looks pretty I'm looking at it now. It looks
- 14:00Speaker 2: pretty chaotic down there, all those fans.
- 14:02Speaker 4: But yeah, I mean yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Well, so now when do you think the pary to end?
- 14:07Speaker 2: Because we're waiting for the city hall ceremony.
- 14:10Speaker 4: I mean, we're getting word that they're that they're running behind,
- 14:14Speaker 4: so no word yet on they've already started making their
- 14:17Speaker 4: way up, but a lot of people are actually there.
- 14:23Speaker 4: It almost seems like people are making their way uptown
- 14:26Speaker 4: now so seemingly their hopes have been dashed and they've
- 14:29Speaker 4: gotten word that the parade is almost over and they're
- 14:34Speaker 4: not going to be able to even catch a lens.
- 14:37Speaker 2: These millions of people, do they know to stay down
- 14:39Speaker 2: there that we don't. The police don't come to midtown.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Have they been told this?
- 14:43Speaker 4: Well, you better broadcast in Mark. Maybe I'll walk along
- 14:47Speaker 4: the street and ask them all please just stay down here.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Mark Simon does not want you up here.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah, tell them not to come above above the village.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Well, it'll be difficult for them to get above Canal
- 14:58Speaker 4: Street anyway until the subway start running. They're gonna have
- 15:02Speaker 4: to walk their way up and then get on a
- 15:06Speaker 4: subway and come around or catch an uber, which could
- 15:09Speaker 4: be very expensive at that point, because you know, all
- 15:13Speaker 4: these millions of people are trying to leave the area
- 15:16Speaker 4: at once.
- 15:17Speaker 2: All right, well, good work, Natalie Migley. Are you keep
- 15:19Speaker 2: us posted if anything happens down there.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Thank you, Mark, thanks for.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Being with us tick here. So the big thing is
- 15:27Speaker 2: the city Hall ceremony supposed to start about eleven thirty.
- 15:29Speaker 2: May run a little behind, but once the ceremony starts,
- 15:32Speaker 2: that's the part. That's the thing you want to hear,
- 15:34Speaker 2: because the parade is just a lot of cheering and waving,
- 15:38Speaker 2: but the ceremony will bring it to you. Live here,
- 15:41Speaker 2: and we'll take some calls. Next to eight hundred three
- 15:45Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten is the number eight
- 15:47Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten on seven ten
- 15:51Speaker 2: w
