- 1:35Speaker 1: Well I have some ratings news.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Yeah, and it has to do with this particular movie
- 1:40Speaker 3: we are reviewing today, according to at tv Mojo on
- 1:45Speaker 3: Twitter X for those of you who.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I refuse, I refuse to. I actually, when I was
- 1:51Speaker 1: typing up this note I put X, I was like, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:54Speaker 1: it's Twitter. Well, won't do it anyway.
- 1:57Speaker 3: At TV Mode, Joe says Thursdays to all, a good
- 2:01Speaker 3: night drew in one point three five six million live
- 2:06Speaker 3: viewers on Movies and Mysteries, coming in as Cable's most
- 2:11Speaker 3: watched entertainment broadcasts for the evening plus. It ranks number
- 2:16Speaker 3: one out of all the Hallmark movies and mystery premieres
- 2:19Speaker 3: this season.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's nice to put that number in context, right,
- 2:23Speaker 1: like it's a Thursday night, it's the Movies and Mysteries movie,
- 2:25Speaker 1: and it knocked out the previous number one movie, which
- 2:30Speaker 1: was the Mystery one, the one with Victor Webster, Mystery
- 2:36Speaker 1: on missiletotally that one, yes, but just edged it out slightly.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I'm I think the Kimberly sau Stat effect has something
- 2:45Speaker 1: to do.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I was just.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Gonna say that, like, I feel like she's like this
- 2:50Speaker 3: like secret assassin, Like you mean, we.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Know the Lacy Scheberts and the Autumn Racer and then
- 2:56Speaker 1: yay looj. I hear what you're about to say, and
- 2:59Speaker 1: I agree.
- 2:59Speaker 3: I just think like she's just like this, like maybe
- 3:02Speaker 3: we don't like kill.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Her credit, Yes exactly. She's awesome. Can't beat the power
- 3:08Speaker 1: of one Miss Kimberly Sastad. I feel like it's worth
- 3:11Speaker 1: noting that girls Gone. Hallmark correspondent Mike coined the term sustuds,
- 3:17Speaker 1: or her fandom. I think this is a good time
- 3:20Speaker 1: to remind everybody, So sustuds raise your hands.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Yes this is not in our news and notes, but
- 3:26Speaker 3: I gotta admit that I had a little bit of
- 3:27Speaker 3: fomo over the weekend scrolling through our Instagram once again
- 3:32Speaker 3: we're not at Christmas con.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Yes, and everybody was freaking there was very much on
- 3:38Speaker 1: my radar. I wanted to make it happen. My daughter
- 3:41Speaker 1: had musical theater performances this weekend, like it was not
- 3:45Speaker 1: possible too. Was never even a conversation between you and
- 3:48Speaker 1: I about going well, because I've known that she you had.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Otherwise I might have pushed for it, Okay, I I
- 3:58Speaker 1: December is such a hard mine. But yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 3: I was like seeing like people who are in our
- 4:03Speaker 3: Facebook group there and I was like, oh, yeah, you
- 4:06Speaker 3: want to go to Jersey in June next time?
- 4:08Speaker 1: Maybe maybe I do, Maybe we do, Okay, let's do it.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Why not what else we got going on next summer?
- 4:15Speaker 1: It's a real change for anybody listens to our other podcasts.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Everything out of Wendy's mouth is who has time for that?
- 4:22Speaker 1: Every time I suggest like some sort of recreational activity, I'm.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Going on a Hallmark cruise with you in November.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I didn't even like waiver. I was like, yeah, I'll go.
- 4:34Speaker 1: That's not how it went down. I love that you've rewritten.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I won't be having any foamo next November. When I'm
- 4:43Speaker 1: on the Hallmark Cruise. No, you won't.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I'm looking forward to it. Are you ready for synopsis? Yeah,
- 4:52Speaker 3: A small town photographer saves the life of a mysterious
- 4:55Speaker 3: man who may just be in town to buy her
- 4:58Speaker 3: family's parkland, which is also the location of the annual
- 5:03Speaker 3: Christmas celebration. Stars Kimberly Sestad and Mark nime Hey. Speaking
- 5:08Speaker 3: of one, miss Kimberly Sestad, she does star as Cci.
- 5:11Speaker 3: She's a Hallmark fan favorite actor with forty three previous
- 5:14Speaker 3: acting credits, including a cameo in the recent fourth Down
- 5:18Speaker 3: in Love and Game of Love from twenty twenty three.
- 5:22Speaker 1: She's not only a great comedic actor. She co wrote
- 5:25Speaker 1: last year's Three Wise Men and a Baby, and we're
- 5:28Speaker 1: excited to include her fan favorite movie, The Nine Lives
- 5:31Speaker 1: of Christmas in our upcoming Christmas in July summer schedule.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Mark your calendar, Yes, I mean like we're just planning
- 5:39Speaker 3: for twenty twenty four already.
- 5:41Speaker 1: The train never sews down. Certainly doesn't It certainly doesn't.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I did feel like this weekend was gonna break me,
- 5:49Speaker 1: But I can I confess something sure. In the shower
- 5:53Speaker 1: this morning, I was thinking we're gonna finish recording before
- 5:58Speaker 1: episodes finish dropping. And I was thinking, Man, I can't
- 6:02Speaker 1: wait to watch anything but Palmark. Oh that's a first.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I love it. I love it. But we're deep in
- 6:08Speaker 1: the season.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Mark Andime plays Sam No One for his striking eyes
- 6:14Speaker 3: and work on Virgin River as doctor Cameron. Marcu has
- 6:18Speaker 3: forty two acting credits, with three projects in post production currently.
- 6:22Speaker 3: He also played dev in four episodes of one of
- 6:26Speaker 3: our favorite series, The Bold Type. I might have to
- 6:28Speaker 3: go back because I don't recall.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Luisa Diallavera plays friend Henny. Luisa has thirty nine previous
- 6:35Speaker 1: acting credits, including Love on the Sidelines from twenty fifteen.
- 6:39Speaker 1: If you missed that, we did review it during summer.
- 6:42Speaker 1: We hated it. I saw that in your notes. Oh,
- 6:45Speaker 1: I can't remember what is that movie.
- 6:48Speaker 3: It's it's the long blonde haired girl who comes in
- 6:52Speaker 3: as the football guy's assistance.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Oh, yes, we hated it. That was a rough wat.
- 7:00Speaker 3: She did not like it at all. Karen Kruper plays Vivian.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Karen's resume is heavy on the Hallmark movies plus one
- 7:07Speaker 3: episode of Unreal in twenty eighteen.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I mean, if you're.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Got your bingo card out. It's unusual that we get
- 7:14Speaker 3: a female actress in unreal.
- 7:17Speaker 1: There aren't yes, because usually we have the bachelorettes and
- 7:19Speaker 1: there's lots of bachelor dudes. Yes. Yeah. Betsy Morris wrote
- 7:23Speaker 1: the script for To All a Good Night. She has
- 7:25Speaker 1: eleven writing credits, including this Year's My Norwegian Holiday, guiding
- 7:29Speaker 1: Emily and the Wedding Vale inspiration for Hallmark. Betsy has
- 7:33Speaker 1: been Bize Bize.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Andy mckeedah directed. He has thirty three previous directing credits,
- 7:39Speaker 3: including guiding Emily, several episodes of Virgin River as well
- 7:43Speaker 3: as Chesapeake Shores. There's a lot of crossover happening here.
- 7:47Speaker 3: These people know each other.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Indeed, To All the Good Night was shot entirely in
- 7:51Speaker 1: British Columbia, in and around Victoria. Filming did take place
- 7:56Speaker 1: from October tenth, en rapped by October twenty eighth. Another
- 8:00Speaker 1: quick turnaround, Quick, it is time for your first impression.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Hit me with it.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Sound the alarm. We've got a serious wowie zowie on
- 8:09Speaker 3: our hands.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Or once again, our first impressions line up as mine is.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I think Wendy is going to binge Virgin River any day. Now, Oh,
- 8:18Speaker 1: Wendy's going to binge Virgin River. I already watched Virgin River. Yeah,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I admittedly have started it, not like after this weekend,
- 8:27Speaker 1: but recently have started it and just was like, Okay,
- 8:30Speaker 1: I don't have the brain power to watch this right now,
- 8:32Speaker 1: just because of all the other content we're consuming for
- 8:36Speaker 1: the podcast.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Here. Maybe a post Christmas watch for me? Yeah, I
- 8:44Speaker 3: mean two really handsome dudes who are not new to Hallmark.
- 8:49Speaker 3: The guy that was in the Santa Summit, he's in
- 8:52Speaker 3: Hallmark Movies, but he's also on Virgin River.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a bad guy. And Marco Grosini, I believe,
- 8:59Speaker 1: is in Virgins. Let's talk about what we liked about
- 9:03Speaker 1: Twala good Night. Let's do it. Let me just first
- 9:07Speaker 1: start off by saying, I really enjoyed this movie. Oh
- 9:10Speaker 1: my god, so did I? Did you think I would
- 9:13Speaker 1: hate it? I didn't think you would hate it because
- 9:16Speaker 1: it had it was a you know, a movie's in
- 9:19Speaker 1: misery movie for sure, deep moments. I definitely cried. I
- 9:24Speaker 1: was surprised to learn that you also cried. I did,
- 9:27Speaker 1: but it had lots of humor, not full tears. You know,
- 9:30Speaker 1: just gets the nose gets changed. I don't imagine you
- 9:33Speaker 1: blubbering over there. No, but it had lots of humor,
- 9:36Speaker 1: And let me start with some really funny moments that
- 9:38Speaker 1: I liked. Bongo Sanna. Some of the lines about Bongo
- 9:42Speaker 1: Santa were great. I believe Sam says, does this cute
- 9:46Speaker 1: little fella warn you when he's about to steal your soul? Yeah?
- 9:49Speaker 1: That was funny Sam. Also, there's a really sunny moment
- 9:52Speaker 1: where they're digging through all of the items that Max
- 9:55Speaker 1: has stolen and Cec holds up a red heel and
- 9:58Speaker 1: he goes only on Friday nights. Real funny. Like threw
- 10:00Speaker 1: that line away totally. CC says Max should be in
- 10:05Speaker 1: federal prison. I thought they did a really nice job
- 10:08Speaker 1: balancing the humor with the heavy I agree, I have
- 10:12Speaker 1: that same note. I think.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Shout out to Betsy Morris for giving the script like
- 10:19Speaker 3: a nice sprinkling of funny lines, which then, to me,
- 10:24Speaker 3: allows Kimberly Sesta to do like two things she's really
- 10:27Speaker 3: good at. She's great at comedy, but she's also great
- 10:30Speaker 3: at the heavier, tender moments. All around, great actor. Two
- 10:36Speaker 3: things that I really enjoyed. I freaking loved how CC
- 10:40Speaker 3: and Sam met this was not your typical meet cute.
- 10:45Speaker 1: That's a new term. I know it's not. It's a
- 10:48Speaker 1: new term to me, is it. I don't think I've.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Ever used the words meet cute. I just thought it
- 10:54Speaker 3: was great, Like.
- 10:55Speaker 1: You know, it was this mystery man and then he
- 10:57Speaker 1: gets in this accident and he's got his home on
- 11:00Speaker 1: and can't really see her face. It was just so
- 11:02Speaker 1: not great how they filmed that.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Yes, I agree with that. Also, of course they stand
- 11:08Speaker 3: out scene for me, and I believe it's where you
- 11:10Speaker 3: cried is when Sam recites the letter from Memory to CC.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I thought it was so well acted. He just doesn't
- 11:19Speaker 3: miss a beat.
- 11:20Speaker 1: He's clearly committed this whole thing to Memory because it's
- 11:23Speaker 1: so special them. The unspoken piece of that is this
- 11:26Speaker 1: letter is so meaningful to me that I've read it
- 11:29Speaker 1: over and over and it just is like a part
- 11:32Speaker 1: of me.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Yeah, hello soldier, or it's something like or well, soldier.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I can't remember how the first line opens, but oh
- 11:39Speaker 3: my god, it was talking about God. It was very
- 11:42Speaker 3: reminiscent of the scene from the Dickens of a Holiday
- 11:47Speaker 3: when Chris Paalaha does his whole like monologue. This is
- 11:50Speaker 3: the only moment you liked about that movie, I know,
- 11:52Speaker 3: but it had that the same gravity to it.
- 11:56Speaker 1: I thought it was very well acted, very well.
- 12:00Speaker 3: It was a great scene, Yes and caimberly crying, Oh
- 12:05Speaker 3: my goodness, so good.
- 12:07Speaker 1: There's another funny moment where Cec and her friend are
- 12:12Speaker 1: trying to figure out why Sam is there, and they're
- 12:14Speaker 1: in her photo studio and they're digging through a box
- 12:16Speaker 1: of props and they just keep piling them on, so
- 12:18Speaker 1: they're wearing like crazy glasses and and they just keep
- 12:21Speaker 1: piling them on as they're having this conversation and then
- 12:24Speaker 1: in like peak Sam in the window. Just was a
- 12:27Speaker 1: funny staging of that scene. I agree.
- 12:30Speaker 3: I thought there was great friendship chemistry between Cec and Penny.
- 12:34Speaker 3: I loved how like fun and comfortable they were together.
- 12:36Speaker 3: It was kind of like reminded me of like me
- 12:39Speaker 3: and you, Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I really liked the envelope moments when people start presenting
- 12:45Speaker 1: Cec with envelopes, And what part of what I liked
- 12:49Speaker 1: about it is nobody was putting pressure on her really
- 12:53Speaker 1: about this event. They all seem to understand her reasoning
- 12:57Speaker 1: behind canceling the event of course, wouldn't you like yes?
- 13:00Speaker 1: But I could see people being like, well, it's tradition
- 13:03Speaker 1: just pushed through, don't I know, don't I would like
- 13:07Speaker 1: to you about this. But I thought it was great
- 13:09Speaker 1: that they focused on the important part of the event
- 13:12Speaker 1: was giving to others, and that really had been the
- 13:15Speaker 1: heart of that whole event, and they took that off
- 13:19Speaker 1: her plate and they just said, here, we're still gonna
- 13:21Speaker 1: do these good things. And I love the story behind
- 13:24Speaker 1: it when she says, some people give a lot and
- 13:27Speaker 1: some people just hand over an empty envelope, and they
- 13:31Speaker 1: all get to retain their dignity of I'm giving, even
- 13:34Speaker 1: if they don't have anything to give, right, they all
- 13:37Speaker 1: get to be a part of the moment. I thought
- 13:40Speaker 1: that was touching.
- 13:41Speaker 3: I know we already objectified him, but hello, Mark and me,
- 13:47Speaker 3: you can stay stick around. We welcome you open arms
- 13:52Speaker 3: to Hallmark.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Yeah, how many months out of the year could version
- 13:55Speaker 1: of her possibly be filming? I only takes two weeks
- 13:57Speaker 1: to film a homework, would be yeah? More more?
- 13:59Speaker 3: Well, listen, I feel like I have a director in
- 14:04Speaker 3: my DMS. Maybe I can like cook you two guys up,
- 14:07Speaker 3: K've gone? Hallmark doescasting the fans what they want.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Yes, all right, I'm I'm blushing right now, so I'm
- 14:15Speaker 1: moving on. What do you think his fandom name is
- 14:19Speaker 1: gonna be like the you know heines gets highknies. You
- 14:22Speaker 1: know that those fandoms cannot keep their hands to themselves.
- 14:26Speaker 1: He's gonna have. I don't know.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I'd have to think about it. But now I'm actually thinking, like,
- 14:30Speaker 3: do I want to start the fandom?
- 14:32Speaker 1: Oh? You new fan here. I don't disagree. I do
- 14:37Speaker 1: not disagree. It was a very pleasant experience, and I
- 14:41Speaker 1: don't just mean looking at it, and he's very handsome.
- 14:43Speaker 1: But I really enjoyed his character as well. Yeah, me too.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Hey, I loved seeing American sign language used in this movie.
- 14:54Speaker 3: It's nice to see there's.
- 14:56Speaker 1: My squirrel friend.
- 14:57Speaker 3: It's nice to see asl used in like.
- 14:59Speaker 1: A a stream movie where it's not like part of
- 15:02Speaker 1: the story at all.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Yes, it's just a representation moment, right, And I do
- 15:07Speaker 3: have a little note here. Trevor Laynhorst, who played Penny's husband, Yeah,
- 15:13Speaker 3: I think it was husband. He's actually not a deaf actor,
- 15:16Speaker 3: but he is a registered sign language interpreter, so they
- 15:20Speaker 3: used him in this role. He only has like three
- 15:23Speaker 3: other little acting credits. But he does like a lot
- 15:25Speaker 3: of camera work apparently, and then is this interpreter so
- 15:29Speaker 3: he has this other life too. Yeah, anyway, I just
- 15:32Speaker 3: thought it was interesting, fun to admit. Yeah, hey, what
- 15:35Speaker 3: do you think of Max the town dog thief? No, okay,
- 15:39Speaker 3: well we'll talk about that later. I have one more liked. Yeah,
- 15:43Speaker 3: I liked so we have Vivia and the stepmother, right,
- 15:46Speaker 3: and I like that, you know, she comes off a
- 15:48Speaker 3: little gruff, but we get a better understanding of why
- 15:51Speaker 3: she's like that at the end. And I thought that
- 15:53Speaker 3: her and CC had this like full moment, like this
- 15:56Speaker 3: closure moment, which was very nice.
- 15:58Speaker 1: And I liked finding out that she was also a
- 16:00Speaker 1: service member. Yes, I thought that was a nice little
- 16:03Speaker 1: reveal mm hmm. And I agree. I like that she
- 16:07Speaker 1: wasn't the evil stepmother. Yes, I would like to sell
- 16:09Speaker 1: it for to you for a dollar. I got a
- 16:11Speaker 1: little teary eye. I know, I know, though there are
- 16:13Speaker 1: nice people, all right. I have but one tiny wish. Oh,
- 16:17Speaker 1: so I'll get it out of the way so you
- 16:18Speaker 1: can dive in. Mine is decorate the trees before Christmas Eve.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know, because then who's going
- 16:24Speaker 1: to enjoy them, then it's over, and then you've spent
- 16:27Speaker 1: all that time. Revisit them on Christmas Eve, have like
- 16:30Speaker 1: a coffee and cocoa night or something. But decorate them
- 16:33Speaker 1: before Christmas Eve. Who wants to be hauling out their
- 16:36Speaker 1: decorations and doing all that work on Christmas Eve?
- 16:41Speaker 3: Well, the Germans in Heidelberg holiday do.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Okay, And if that's your tradition, then I see you.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Well, we are recording this on December eleventh. I did
- 16:54Speaker 3: put our tree out.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I did.
- 16:56Speaker 1: It does not have any decorations on it, you said
- 16:58Speaker 1: that time. I know I do, But there is a
- 17:01Speaker 1: pressure pressure cooker inside of me. That is you know
- 17:07Speaker 1: I'm failing Christmas. You're not. But also there are other
- 17:11Speaker 1: people who live in your house.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I'm gonna write I think that's the title of my memoir,
- 17:15Speaker 3: I'm failing Christmas. I'm failing, but you're not. And this
- 17:19Speaker 3: is anthropic.
- 17:20Speaker 1: But there, I know. Everybody's busy, they got work, they
- 17:24Speaker 1: got finals. You are busy too, I know, I know,
- 17:29Speaker 1: I know you do not have more hours in the
- 17:31Speaker 1: day than anybody else.
- 17:33Speaker 2: I know.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Holidays are hard, dude, Holidays are hard, all right. I
- 17:38Speaker 3: have just two little wishes.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Poor Max. I know, okay, look at I love dogs, Yes,
- 17:44Speaker 1: Megan knows, I love dogouch for that. I hate hyjiinks.
- 17:48Speaker 3: And so when you have this cute dog and he's
- 17:51Speaker 3: involved in all these hyjiinks, I just know one time, fine,
- 17:56Speaker 3: maybe two times, but no, why is he getting out
- 17:59Speaker 3: all the time? Well, okay, I'm gonna it's in my
- 18:02Speaker 3: did you see that? But it feels appropriate? Here was
- 18:04Speaker 3: that dog running around town off leash?
- 18:07Speaker 1: Yeah? Like, how does that happen? That does not happen
- 18:09Speaker 1: where we live? No? Oh, we got coyotes, we got cars. Like, yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 1: she's like, Max, go home, get out of here.
- 18:19Speaker 2: It.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I was like, how does Max know how to get home? Oh?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Yeah I did? Uh?
- 18:25Speaker 3: Anyway, one final little wish. I have no idea why
- 18:30Speaker 3: this was on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. Was not a mystery.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I mean, you know, most of the Christmas movies aren't mysteries.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Only one of our movies and mysteries it's the Miracles
- 18:42Speaker 3: of Christmas line. Okay, fine, but I truly think this
- 18:47Speaker 3: should have got regular Hallmark channel billing.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and hear me out.
- 18:53Speaker 3: I wonder if the stars of these movies the actor,
- 18:57Speaker 3: the actors, the directors, the right. Do you think they're
- 19:01Speaker 3: disappointed when their movie lands on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Because they know it's not going to get the same audience.
- 19:09Speaker 3: That's exactly why, because I not everybody has Hallmark Movies
- 19:14Speaker 3: and Mysteries on their cable lineup right. It's usually an
- 19:18Speaker 3: additional cost, correct, and that alone is going to yield
- 19:22Speaker 3: a smaller viewership. And there's no shade I'm throwing here.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I mean, this movie did have one point three five
- 19:26Speaker 3: six million viewers. I hear you.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I think this is the kind of movie that ends
- 19:33Speaker 1: up in the Miracles of Christmas lineup.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I think when you have a kimberly assested movie, it
- 19:37Speaker 3: should be on the regular channel. Sorry, suem me.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Yeah, well it's time for digit see that. I had
- 19:43Speaker 1: to pull some like behind the scenes information for this
- 19:46Speaker 1: because in watching this, nothing really like stood out to
- 19:49Speaker 1: me like, oh look at that. So I've got two.
- 19:54Speaker 1: A one is a tweet from Beth gross Bard Productions,
- 19:56Speaker 1: which is about the dog Max Okay, who is a
- 20:00Speaker 1: Neppo puppy. His mom, according to this tweet, is the
- 20:03Speaker 1: wonderful animal wrangler Grace McLeod, who trained the pups in
- 20:06Speaker 1: Guiding Emily and the infamous All of My Heart Baby Goats.
- 20:11Speaker 1: That's not a movie, we know. I don't know that movie.
- 20:15Speaker 3: But I do remember those cute pups.
- 20:17Speaker 1: See. I like dogs. I remember those cute puppies and
- 20:20Speaker 1: guiding Emily. I'm not accusing you of not liking dogs.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I love dogs. I have saved a dog from the
- 20:25Speaker 1: street if you recall, I do remember he bit your
- 20:27Speaker 1: husband in the face. I still brought him home. Yes,
- 20:31Speaker 1: I love dogs. Lived in your home for many many years.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Yes.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Another tweet from Betsy Morris, who wrote this movie the
- 20:38Speaker 1: background or behind Bongo Santa. Yeah, tell me that ugly
- 20:42Speaker 1: little ball of mechanical evil belonged to my husband's family
- 20:45Speaker 1: growing up. At some point I ended up with it,
- 20:47Speaker 1: and now it makes the rounds between family members. I
- 20:51Speaker 1: tried to get Beth Gross Barred Productions to keep it,
- 20:53Speaker 1: but no luck. I love a little Easter egg like that.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:00Speaker 1: If you listen to our episode that is actually out
- 21:05Speaker 1: yesterday as of the airing, you'll hear a little Bongo
- 21:10Speaker 1: Santa moment in my own friend group that did you
- 21:13Speaker 1: find this happening? Year after year? I forgot to ask
- 21:16Speaker 1: him where it is. Oh my god, it's in the truck. Patreon,
- 21:18Speaker 1: it's not. Oh no, patreon dot com, slash Megan and Weddy, I.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Have one small, small small did you see that? And
- 21:25Speaker 3: I think it's an editing flub. There was a scene
- 21:29Speaker 3: where Cec and Penny are talking and you hear CEC's
- 21:32Speaker 3: voice but her lips are not moving.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Oh it's so quick.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Huh.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I'm actually surprised that I caught it because you know,
- 21:39Speaker 1: you're allowed to look away from the screen when you wait, okay,
- 21:41Speaker 1: thank you, So I just have toothpigs in your eyes
- 21:45Speaker 1: watching no.
- 21:48Speaker 3: But it was so fast, and I was like, wait,
- 21:50Speaker 3: that's her voice, but she's not talking.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Interesting. Yes, all right, let's rate to all a good night.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I give it four stars four point five. We enjoyed it.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I thought it was a really nice movie, really nice
- 22:04Speaker 1: movie from top to bottom. Even Max, can I tell
- 22:08Speaker 1: you something? Okay, Well, watching this movie, my husband said,
- 22:11Speaker 1: I think I'm becoming a Hallmark hater for real. Yeah,
- 22:16Speaker 1: thanks for listening to this episode of Girls Gone Hallmark.
- 22:19Speaker 1: That's not it for us this week. We will be
- 22:21Speaker 1: back tomorrow with our review of Magic in Missiletoe. We
