- 0:54Speaker 1: Suitsman Sports Complex right next to the Kenny west Van
- 0:59Speaker 1: Camp and to see football coaching.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Coaching. What's the word, I've lost the word training? Where
- 1:11Speaker 2: it is? It's it's sad. It's a sad day. The
- 1:17Speaker 2: regular season for college football is over. It feels like
- 1:20Speaker 2: they should play an eighty week season just so we
- 1:25Speaker 2: can get our entertainment out. But now it's Sports Allegedly.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Welcome, Welcome, welcome, thank you all for joining us for
- 1:31Speaker 3: this episode of Sports Allegedly on December third, twenty twenty five.
- 1:36Speaker 3: We're getting close to Christmas time at twenty five. But
- 1:39Speaker 3: if you want to spend the fastest three months of
- 1:41Speaker 3: your life be a college football fan, and it's over
- 1:43Speaker 3: September mar or September October November.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Food over SEYFL is almost done.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just that's it. It's it longest three months
- 1:51Speaker 3: of a sports fans time.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Everything from us, it's and then we have the ufl
- 1:56Speaker 2: uf houst Jinny hates.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Yes, for sure, thanks for joining us. We've got a
- 2:01Speaker 3: lot to talk about. Obviously, big NFL last week. We'll
- 2:04Speaker 3: talk about that as we close out this show. We're
- 2:07Speaker 3: gonna talk some coaching changes.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Obviously that's been big newsfl It seems like it was a.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Media Today was National signing Day. That should be our
- 2:15Speaker 3: top things.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Everybody cares because you just get them out of the
- 2:18Speaker 2: transfer portal after they go to their school, make their money,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and then decide they don't want to play for that code.
- 2:22Speaker 2: But let's get down to it and then we'll do our. Uh,
- 2:25Speaker 2: we'll do our. We're gonna pick almost all the conference
- 2:27Speaker 2: games and pick three. We're gonna get down two games.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Let's do the playoff. The big news obviously college football
- 2:33Speaker 2: playoff come out last night announced that is the big news.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Ohio State No, No, we'll talk about lane two and
- 2:41Speaker 2: the coaching changes.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Oh oh Ohio State, Indiana, second, Georgia Third, Texas Tech
- 2:49Speaker 3: moves up. Uh and so does Georgian and so does
- 2:53Speaker 3: Georgia because the A and M lost to Texas Oregon.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Uh.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Six old miss old miss stayed. There is a parameters
- 3:01Speaker 3: in that with people and coaching her.
- 3:03Speaker 2: But that stage they kept them. They said they had
- 3:04Speaker 2: no data point, which is a joke. Seven A and
- 3:07Speaker 2: M Oklahoma State at eight big news here though, I
- 3:11Speaker 2: noticed that Bama jump Notre Dame's which is what they should.
- 3:15Speaker 3: It is a setup for Notre Dame to be pushed
- 3:18Speaker 3: out is what's gonna happen more than likely.
- 3:20Speaker 2: We'll think about it and about you want to you
- 3:22Speaker 2: want to get into the meet and potato, we will.
- 3:24Speaker 2: And then rounding out what my top twelve was gonna be. Now,
- 3:29Speaker 2: what do you think it should be? Right? Okay, that's
- 3:32Speaker 2: what my top twelve was gonna be. Because there's predicting
- 3:35Speaker 2: and then there's you know, I did, Ohio State is
- 3:37Speaker 2: clearly the top team. Sure, and even if Ohio State
- 3:42Speaker 2: Indiana lose, whoever loses that game doesn't move. They just
- 3:45Speaker 2: flip flopped. Okay, let's talk. Let's get into the scenarios
- 3:47Speaker 2: real quick. Okay, because we got conference championships, we're not
- 3:50Speaker 2: picking them yet.
- 3:50Speaker 3: We'll pick them a little later, but there you go.
- 3:52Speaker 3: There's number one, number one, number two play each other.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Championship game should not be a penalty.
- 3:58Speaker 2: They should.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I think the loser drops. If if Georgia wins, No,
- 4:07Speaker 3: you think they stay one too, I don't.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I don't think so. I think they just flip flop.
- 4:12Speaker 2: If Indiana wins, Indiana goes to one, Ohio State goes
- 4:15Speaker 2: I would disagree.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I think Georgia moves up to to Indiana or the
- 4:19Speaker 3: For the most part of this is this is just placement.
- 4:23Speaker 2: That'll be final placement though, because that I know. But
- 4:26Speaker 2: that's how this is for the placement. But I don't
- 4:31Speaker 2: see either one of those two having to be penalized
- 4:34Speaker 2: for playing in the championship game.
- 4:36Speaker 3: What if wins by three touchdowns, you're still gonna put
- 4:40Speaker 3: them second.
- 4:41Speaker 2: No, okay, that point you would take in the account,
- 4:44Speaker 2: But then Georgia would if the three touchdowns, well no,
- 4:47Speaker 2: then Georgia would stay at three because but yeah, but
- 4:50Speaker 2: if Indiana loses close, stays at one two, Okay, I disagree.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I'm not with the style points unless it comes down
- 4:57Speaker 2: to you getting your ass blown out.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Fair enough, but Georgia would be amending their only loss
- 5:01Speaker 3: as well.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Well, I got it now completely. That's why I think
- 5:04Speaker 2: Georgia moves the number two in the loser. When we
- 5:06Speaker 2: say the game was twenty four to twenty one, it
- 5:07Speaker 2: was a field goal, yep, yeap, And it was so
- 5:11Speaker 2: long ago. It was at Tardet Fields like forever it
- 5:14Speaker 2: was at Georgia. It was at Georgia as well, So
- 5:19Speaker 2: I think technically is gonna be a Georgia again. I mean,
- 5:21Speaker 2: I think they're in Atlanta.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I think Tech BYU, let's go to that championship game.
- 5:25Speaker 3: I think Tech is at the highest they can do.
- 5:28Speaker 3: They don't move any higher. Correct win correct. They've already
- 5:31Speaker 3: beat b YU twenty nine to seven. It wasn't home
- 5:33Speaker 3: now BYU ranked eleven.
- 5:36Speaker 2: BYU wins in their in Oh for sure. I think
- 5:39Speaker 2: they should already be above Notre Dame as it were,
- 5:43Speaker 2: and I don't think this should be a game for
- 5:44Speaker 2: them to be trying to play to get in. Okay, fair,
- 5:48Speaker 2: but I disagree. I think the BYU should be above
- 5:50Speaker 2: Notre Dame as it is. Well, they played. Notre Dame
- 5:53Speaker 2: plays cupcakes. Even I looked at Notre Dames. Let's schedule
- 5:55Speaker 2: for next season, it's still a cupcake. It's all cupcake. Well, okay,
- 6:00Speaker 2: Our Dame is getting is getting now b YU beat
- 6:05Speaker 2: what's the one I'm gonna Notre Dame is getting credit
- 6:08Speaker 2: for playing a fluff schedule.
- 6:10Speaker 3: B YU beat Portland State Stanford, East Carolina, Colorado by three,
- 6:16Speaker 3: West Virginia Arizona by six.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Goodwin.
- 6:19Speaker 3: It was overtime and it was there. They beat Utah
- 6:22Speaker 3: by three at home, beat Iowa State got killed by Tech,
- 6:27Speaker 3: beat TCU, beat Cincinnati.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And Cincinnati was ranked at that time when possibly and
- 6:32Speaker 2: beat UCF, so and usually they did have to come back.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I think if you kind of look at it on
- 6:37Speaker 3: a neutral field, you put Alabama versus by U or
- 6:40Speaker 3: not Alabama, Notre Dame versus by U don't.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Even really close game.
- 6:44Speaker 3: It's another close I think I think Notre Dame could
- 6:46Speaker 3: beat Tech because of their defense.
- 6:48Speaker 2: No, I don't think Notre Dame could be Okay, I
- 6:53Speaker 2: Notre Dame just they have a great running back, they
- 6:57Speaker 2: have defense, they have the running back. They have the
- 7:00Speaker 2: kid who I believe should be winning the Heisman this year.
- 7:02Speaker 2: He will not, but he will not, but he should
- 7:04Speaker 2: be at least invited. You should be.
- 7:07Speaker 3: But you know, he didn't have generational numbers like some
- 7:09Speaker 3: of these running backs that won the Heisman. That's what
- 7:12Speaker 3: kind of knocks him out because you got to compare
- 7:16Speaker 3: him to it's a pretty weak high mark Ingram got,
- 7:19Speaker 3: Adrian Peterson, what was the Ron Daine Did he win
- 7:22Speaker 3: it that year?
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yes, Barry Sanders, Billy Simms, yes, Boom did Simms have? Really?
- 7:30Speaker 2: Did he have generational numbers when he won it. I
- 7:32Speaker 2: had really great numbers. Okay, we're talking about Tech.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Tech beat Arkansas, Pine Bluff, Kent State, Oregon State, Utah
- 7:40Speaker 3: at Utah.
- 7:41Speaker 2: That's a good win. Houston, they kind of faltered at
- 7:43Speaker 2: the end. We watched him against Ocoba. That's WHUS was
- 7:46Speaker 2: doing really well. They're not the greatest. Kansas had a
- 7:49Speaker 2: bad year.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Arizona State was down, Oklahoma State sucked, Kansas State was down,
- 7:54Speaker 3: and then they beat by u U CFS down. West
- 7:57Speaker 3: Virginia's down. I'm telling you Notre Dame kills Tech. In
- 8:01Speaker 3: my opinion, I think they just run them into the ground. Okay,
- 8:07Speaker 3: uh USC that's it. And they lost the other two
- 8:10Speaker 3: big ones.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I can tell you that Texas A and m Miami,
- 8:13Speaker 2: and then who did they beat? They beat Stanford some
- 8:16Speaker 2: of the same type deals. They beat Boise State. But
- 8:20Speaker 2: I also you know they lost. I have not brought
- 8:26Speaker 2: a long time in case.
- 8:27Speaker 3: The Notre Dame lost to Miami only by three, correct,
- 8:30Speaker 3: and then they lost to A and M only by one.
- 8:32Speaker 3: And that's the first two games out of the year.
- 8:34Speaker 2: That's when everybody's fresh. They killed and everybody is they
- 8:38Speaker 2: killed due kill. Arkansas beat boys. Who's in a championship game.
- 8:42Speaker 3: They beat n C State, they beat ranked USC and
- 8:46Speaker 3: they're still ranked.
- 8:48Speaker 2: They still are. They have only three losses. They beat
- 8:51Speaker 2: Boston College, killed Navy, which I think Navy almost made
- 8:56Speaker 2: their championship game, and Pittsburgh had a shot at making
- 9:00Speaker 2: the championship game. I'm just saying, don't I know? I know,
- 9:05Speaker 2: and then and then killed Syriah. Pittsburgh just came in and.
- 9:08Speaker 3: And Stanford are killed. Okay, So yes, acted like no,
- 9:11Speaker 3: And I'm not saying that they're Juggernauts.
- 9:12Speaker 2: I said, I'm just saying, you take those two teams
- 9:14Speaker 2: on a neutral field, I'm taking Tech over. I'm taking
- 9:17Speaker 2: Tech or B. Why you over? Now? Now I think
- 9:19Speaker 2: you're in the very, very very minority there. Okay, so,
- 9:24Speaker 2: but but now you have to not hate against Notre Dame.
- 9:26Speaker 2: It's that Notre Dame needs to schedule harder. Okay.
- 9:30Speaker 3: So scenario there, Tech wins, they don't move up any higher.
- 9:33Speaker 2: You agree with that, Okay? What if they lose, We're
- 9:38Speaker 2: goan's gonna jump them. If they lose, fair would miss
- 9:41Speaker 2: B why you jumps? No? Where would Tech drop? Tech
- 9:44Speaker 2: would probably drop? Tech would drop to the bottom.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Uh, don't forget you got to add the power five
- 9:51Speaker 3: and the acc if Virginua, they would drop to below Alabama.
- 9:58Speaker 2: That's with an Alabama loss. No, actually, you know what,
- 10:01Speaker 2: Unfortunately I hate to say this, they would just drop
- 10:04Speaker 2: below A and M. So you think they're yes, Texas
- 10:08Speaker 2: Tech because we're not playing in a game.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Okay, now I could see that playing Okay, Okay, So
- 10:14Speaker 3: there's a scenario we kicked down to nine.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Well here's the here's I'm kind of but here's also
- 10:20Speaker 2: the argument. What I mean, I mean, can you be
- 10:23Speaker 2: punished for playing in a in a championship?
- 10:25Speaker 3: Getting ready to talk about that because Alabama is a
- 10:27Speaker 3: huge scenario about that one. You're not punished, but you
- 10:30Speaker 3: got to drop because you lost. You've got to get
- 10:32Speaker 3: BYU up there, but you don't Ebody, but you don't
- 10:35Speaker 3: necessarily have to put b YU ahead of them because
- 10:39Speaker 3: you've already beat me Yu.
- 10:42Speaker 2: So no, but that moves BYU up above Notre Dame
- 10:48Speaker 2: and gets b YU into Agreed into the top ten.
- 10:52Speaker 2: So that's the worst case right now, we're just looking
- 10:54Speaker 2: at top ten because eleven and twelve possibly out.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Yes, So that is worst case scenario for Notre Dame.
- 11:03Speaker 3: What if Alabama beats or loses.
- 11:08Speaker 2: To Georgia stage, everything stays they're last though, right, No,
- 11:12Speaker 2: they're still above Notre Dame. No, well not if BYU won,
- 11:17Speaker 2: Dame is out. But if BYU loses. I thought you
- 11:19Speaker 2: said Alabama.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I'm talking about Alabama and BYU Alabama losing BYU winning
- 11:24Speaker 3: b YU.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Uh, Well the jumps, it just jumps, and they're still
- 11:29Speaker 2: Notre Dame gets pulled out of the top ten. So
- 11:31Speaker 2: you stick the ACC champ about ten eleven where you
- 11:35Speaker 2: gonna put your Power five twelve? See, I disagree if
- 11:40Speaker 2: Alabama loses, I see, I think Alabama should be the
- 11:42Speaker 2: twelfth three loss championship losing. I think it's already set
- 11:45Speaker 2: up that way. I don't think No, I don't think
- 11:47Speaker 2: I thought it was. I thought it was set up
- 11:49Speaker 2: with the with the Power five. I don't think they
- 11:51Speaker 2: have to be the last. I don't think they have
- 11:52Speaker 2: to be unless they're in the top ten. Oh you
- 11:55Speaker 2: know what it might be? You might be right, yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 2: because if I looked at that, there was the conference champion,
- 12:00Speaker 2: conference champion put in the two spots where were on
- 12:06Speaker 2: how it fell?
- 12:08Speaker 3: Gotcha five five highest ranked champ? We talked about this
- 12:11Speaker 3: last week.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Even if they're not ranked in the top twelve, the
- 12:16Speaker 2: seating for the remaining teams would be the higher seed
- 12:18Speaker 2: hosting matchup. Well, we're currently looking at is first round
- 12:22Speaker 2: buys of Ohio State, Indiana, Texas, A and m God
- 12:27Speaker 2: when was this written November fourth? Gotcha? Uh? And then
- 12:32Speaker 2: Alabama and then the first round matchups were Oregon, Texas Tech, Memphis, Georgia.
- 12:37Speaker 2: God damn, you're exactly right.
- 12:40Speaker 3: It's top twelve, so they will automatically be number twelve, right, Okay,
- 12:44Speaker 3: So Alabama would be eleven, would be my opinion, b
- 12:48Speaker 3: y U ten, Oklahoma nine.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Well Lego Bloma moves down, yeah, because you would have to.
- 12:57Speaker 3: You would have to. That's if Alabama lost. If Alabama wins,
- 13:01Speaker 3: you'd put them ahead of Oklahoma, would you know?
- 13:03Speaker 2: Because of Calahoma beat them in the regular season and
- 13:05Speaker 2: they do. But they yeah, but they're champion, they're sec champion.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It should mean something. The only thing that it changes
- 13:12Speaker 2: of Alabama wins is Georgia dropping. Sure, but I mean,
- 13:19Speaker 2: but I don't think. But I mean, they put Alabama
- 13:23Speaker 2: above Georgia just for a title game that nobody else got.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I don't think you would. I think they do. We
- 13:27Speaker 2: need to go to a mini playoffs. I know we
- 13:29Speaker 2: do a playoffs.
- 13:30Speaker 3: They would slide Georgia I think, in my opinion, slide
- 13:33Speaker 3: them right ahead of Old Miss.
- 13:35Speaker 2: That's an Old Miss punishment for their Why you have
- 13:38Speaker 2: to get moved down to number eight? They'd go to
- 13:40Speaker 2: number nine or number Alabama would move ahead of them.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I know that, but that's what I'm saying.
- 13:46Speaker 3: So they would just go to nine and we'd then host.
- 13:50Speaker 3: We end up go to we have to host. No
- 13:53Speaker 3: not if we go to nine, we don't.
- 13:54Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Yeah, we have to go to Alabama.
- 13:57Speaker 2: If that happens, you still won't get me tickets to
- 14:01Speaker 2: that game? No, no, no, no.
- 14:02Speaker 3: I think what they do is they'd move Alabama ahead
- 14:04Speaker 3: of A and M and not make an immediate rematch.
- 14:07Speaker 2: And then what play may go? You play? Yeah? That
- 14:12Speaker 2: so the worst so really is an no you fan?
- 14:14Speaker 2: You need to be a Georgia fan this weekend. Let
- 14:18Speaker 2: Alabama stay at eleven eleven and if b YU loses,
- 14:27Speaker 2: but they shouldn't drop below notre Day. Oh I think
- 14:30Speaker 2: so it'd be it'd be the third loss. So they shouldn't.
- 14:32Speaker 2: It's a third loss. I mean, you gotta, you gotta.
- 14:34Speaker 2: But it's a championship game, so you're for playing in
- 14:36Speaker 2: the championship only go on one spot, still putting them
- 14:40Speaker 2: in the playoffs. Notre Dame doesn't play in a championship,
- 14:42Speaker 2: doesn't matter, They'd still be in the playoffs. It would
- 14:45Speaker 2: be the first three loss team to ever make the playoffs.
- 14:49Speaker 2: You no, I'm not saying that at all.
- 14:51Speaker 3: I'm saying it's it's not you have to, you have to,
- 14:55Speaker 3: you have to.
- 14:56Speaker 2: It's three loss you gotta somehow, Oh, you need to
- 14:59Speaker 2: punish Notre for not playing a fucking strong enough schedule.
- 15:02Speaker 2: It's just one last long well, I mean they played
- 15:04Speaker 2: what they got well, I'd put them below Texas.
- 15:07Speaker 3: I mean, honestly, I'm not a Texas fan obviously, but
- 15:10Speaker 3: if you're talking about the best team right now, I'd
- 15:12Speaker 3: put Texas in and Vanderbilt over Notre Dame. And the
- 15:17Speaker 3: Miami argument is legitimate, but it's exactly what's hurting Texas there.
- 15:23Speaker 2: They had bad losses.
- 15:25Speaker 3: So you look at everybody above them, they're like, oh,
- 15:27Speaker 3: Oklahoma's got two no bad losses, Alabama's got two losses.
- 15:32Speaker 2: They had a bad loss. That's another reason to put
- 15:34Speaker 2: them below Notre Dame.
- 15:36Speaker 3: They had a horrible loss and then they lost their championship.
- 15:39Speaker 3: You're not punishing them because you're still letting them in
- 15:42Speaker 3: the playoff, but you can't keep them ahead of Notre Dame.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Yeah. I guess that'd argument because that's the Texas argument.
- 15:47Speaker 2: As you lost to Florida. Yes, yeah, and you know
- 15:50Speaker 2: they're talking about not scheduling.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Would Texas be in with just a Florida loss and
- 15:57Speaker 3: an Ohio State loss?
- 15:58Speaker 2: Okay, so they'd be in the championship game more than likely.
- 16:04Speaker 2: I don't know how they have one loss. Georgia would
- 16:08Speaker 2: have beat him, so would they would they get the
- 16:12Speaker 2: Texas beat Alabama? Alabama beat it, they would be in.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Okay, So that's two losses and then they lose to
- 16:19Speaker 3: Georgia in the championship in a rematch.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Do you still get in? How are you guaranteeing Texas
- 16:25Speaker 2: to be in two losses?
- 16:29Speaker 3: Yes, and losing the championship, you're guaranteeing them to be in, right, Okay, but.
- 16:34Speaker 2: That was only if they lost two. I get it.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Get they dropped three and they're all bitching about well,
- 16:39Speaker 2: you know we played Sark says, we played the hardest schedule,
- 16:43Speaker 2: and I'm like.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Who's who is the who is the third one? They
- 16:45Speaker 3: lost the Florida that was the bad one, and then
- 16:47Speaker 3: they lost to obviously state.
- 16:50Speaker 2: What was the third Florida? Georgia, Georgia and I got
- 16:53Speaker 2: killed by Georgia.
- 16:54Speaker 3: I know it was tied going into the fourth, but
- 16:56Speaker 3: Georgia dominated them.
- 16:57Speaker 2: They did in the in the fourth quarter, dominated like woman.
- 17:00Speaker 3: But I do think though, I do think though, that
- 17:03Speaker 3: you still have you move it to a.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Sixteen team playoff, you don't.
- 17:07Speaker 3: You get rid of the buye, you get rid of
- 17:09Speaker 3: the bye because we talked about that ye.
- 17:12Speaker 2: And make a deal. Make it too power making. There's
- 17:16Speaker 2: some pundits out there now they're just saying this twelve
- 17:19Speaker 2: team is iserfect, and that's not.
- 17:22Speaker 3: I mean, it's not because if you're including teams that
- 17:24Speaker 3: are worse than the teams that need to be in there,
- 17:26Speaker 3: all all Power five, all ah, crappy ACC. You're talking about, Duke,
- 17:33Speaker 3: If they win the ACC Championship, the ACC's out.
- 17:37Speaker 2: They don't even make it.
- 17:38Speaker 3: It's is that bad because the the second Power five
- 17:42Speaker 3: would be ranked ahead of them it's true.
- 17:47Speaker 2: So then you slide to James Madison or somebody else
- 17:49Speaker 2: in there, which is odd. You know, No, they wouldn't
- 17:53Speaker 2: be sliding. Well, I mean, if if Duke, if the
- 17:57Speaker 2: group of five has a guaranteed spot, because they if
- 18:00Speaker 2: they don't, then those teams stop playing and form their
- 18:03Speaker 2: own conference. Everybody knows that. Yeah, sure, everybody knows that
- 18:08Speaker 2: we're trying to fluff the Group of five. And you
- 18:11Speaker 2: know this is why we keep stealing teams and keep
- 18:13Speaker 2: stealing players and keep stealing coaches from the Group of five.
- 18:18Speaker 2: They do very well there. No, I'm just saying it. Yeah,
- 18:22Speaker 2: James Madison's issue is that they play in the worst
- 18:25Speaker 2: one of the worst Power five conference. No, but see
- 18:29Speaker 2: no James Madison.
- 18:30Speaker 3: If Duke wins, James Madison's in along with the winner
- 18:34Speaker 3: of Tulane in North Texas.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Right there, they're excluded. Other champions are prioritized.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Oh no, the committee must take the five highest ranked
- 18:44Speaker 3: conference champions. So then you've got you've got five yeah,
- 18:51Speaker 3: power four ones out, then you get two.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Oh acc you're in a downturn be their worst case scenario.
- 18:59Speaker 2: But anyway, I think that's what I let's hope that happens.
- 19:02Speaker 3: That's what I was getting. So my thing is I
- 19:04Speaker 3: saw the right thing is Texas. Texas was thirteen. No
- 19:07Speaker 3: way they make it in it is. There's no way they.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Make it in Texas. I think Miami's got a slim
- 19:13Speaker 2: shot still but still being below. Notre Dame tells me no,
- 19:17Speaker 2: but not Miami. It's slide down Miami not playing in
- 19:20Speaker 2: a championship game, plus plus Miami having to set behind.
- 19:26Speaker 2: How many do we have? Uh? One, two, three, four,
- 19:32Speaker 2: five other non championship playing teams. Yes, you're out, Yeah,
- 19:39Speaker 2: right here, I got them. I got them set up.
- 19:40Speaker 3: You've got Oregon, Ole, Miss Texas, A, and m ou
- 19:44Speaker 3: Notre Dame. So that's five ahead of them.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Yeah. The painting behind you? What painting? Oh? I never
- 19:52Speaker 2: took it out because I'm just that close. It's upside down.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Here we go, just like he know, I was writing
- 20:04Speaker 2: on the step in the chair, right, So I guess
- 20:08Speaker 2: that chair would be better. We should be pimping our
- 20:11Speaker 2: playoff you, I mean we got that. There's a helmet
- 20:13Speaker 2: outside that we keep forgetting National Coach of the Year.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Venables probably won't win it now he'll be in the running.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I think most improved on that. I think.
- 20:23Speaker 3: I think probably who's gonna win, it's the Vanderbilt coach.
- 20:26Speaker 3: But they had a good year last years was six
- 20:28Speaker 3: and seven.
- 20:28Speaker 2: You think probably wins it. No, it's uh yeah, Clark Lee.
- 20:35Speaker 2: What about Nasataki? Listen, he's done very well? Can I
- 20:41Speaker 2: is this where I go on my rant if you
- 20:42Speaker 2: want to the Big twelve stop, just stop. They're better
- 20:46Speaker 2: than the ACC. Okay, the number three cons. But I promise,
- 20:51Speaker 2: promise you, I promise you this unless Tech gets one
- 20:56Speaker 2: of those pansies, and it's very possible, but I don't
- 20:59Speaker 2: think b YU or Tech wins a game in the playoff.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I don't know if Oklahoma could win a playoff game,
- 21:06Speaker 2: but their offense, but our defense sure, our defense.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Sure, and Tech's defense could. But it looks like they're
- 21:14Speaker 3: going to get a bye. What we talked about last
- 21:17Speaker 3: year is no buy teams won. They had a week off.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Yeah, don MATTERI if you need me to, I will
- 21:22Speaker 2: come down there and I will massage your hand and
- 21:24Speaker 2: we'll make sure everything's good. As in right now, Sean,
- 21:26Speaker 2: go back up.
- 21:27Speaker 3: It looks like Tech would be on a bye and
- 21:32Speaker 3: then they would play They would play the.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Winner Oregon playoffs, but nobody's updated it. What would they go?
- 21:42Speaker 2: They'd play the winner of Oregon and what could it be?
- 21:49Speaker 2: Four seed would play the five seed? Five? And would
- 21:53Speaker 2: five and five and twelve? Okay, this is one day ago. Yeah,
- 21:58Speaker 2: five and twelve? Thank you, CBA. No, n c A. Well,
- 22:02Speaker 2: is it gonna come on? But no?
- 22:04Speaker 3: I think it's five verses twelve. So I think it
- 22:05Speaker 3: would be Organ versus the Power.
- 22:09Speaker 2: God damn it. I agree to your legal terms. I
- 22:13Speaker 2: won't show your stupid faces, son of a bitch.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Now we don't want to hear you talk. We just
- 22:18Speaker 3: want to see it. Okay, Yeah, so they would play
- 22:21Speaker 3: Organ in the Power five.
- 22:22Speaker 2: What in the hell is happening today? We're talking n
- 22:25Speaker 2: c A A Championship, Life.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Lessons, school crowd, Thank you, crowd, crowd?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Are we muted? Are you muted? No? They play Organ? Okay,
- 22:40Speaker 2: so you think Tech could beat Organ?
- 22:41Speaker 3: No?
- 22:43Speaker 2: W it's new seating. Oh god, look at this. It's
- 22:47Speaker 2: the last year. So yes, but it all depends on
- 22:52Speaker 2: who they have to play.
- 22:54Speaker 3: No, it's always gonna be Organ. It's always gonna be Organ.
- 22:59Speaker 2: You don't know unless it's can you not have hope?
- 23:02Speaker 2: For those people, because that's gonna be one of the
- 23:04Speaker 2: powers that are fans of either Virginia, No do No.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Virginia would roll James Madison Virginia.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Virginia, Virginia if they win, would be eleven. Virginia, they
- 23:13Speaker 3: would be eleven. That's the lowest they can go. Remember,
- 23:16Speaker 3: the Power five goes to twelve. So Oregon plays North
- 23:20Speaker 3: Texas or too late.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I'm just saying, can you green teams? I know which
- 23:24Speaker 2: one is going to be favored. Can you just not
- 23:27Speaker 2: allow a little bit of hope for these people that
- 23:30Speaker 2: are fans of these teams that are getting into the playoffs. Now, Okay,
- 23:34Speaker 2: not this year. That's fine, that's fair.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Now, could another Power five sneak in and beat Old
- 23:42Speaker 3: miss with what they're going through? Very possible. Yeah, but
- 23:45Speaker 3: Charlie Wis junior is coming back. But that Power five
- 23:49Speaker 3: doesn't beat Georgia.
- 23:50Speaker 2: And I know this, you know don't. This is not basketball.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Okay, Now, State went on amazing run last year, but
- 23:58Speaker 3: what helped But what helped them is the other teams
- 24:01Speaker 3: knocked out the top other teams.
- 24:04Speaker 2: No seed got past their first game. Yes, yes, So
- 24:11Speaker 2: here's what's funny. If this does happen and it stays
- 24:14Speaker 2: the way that it is. Owe you Alabama rematch. Well,
- 24:19Speaker 2: now here's what I think is going to change. Then
- 24:21Speaker 2: A Notre Dame, A n M remach No, I think
- 24:24Speaker 2: I know. I think what they're gonna do is they're
- 24:26Speaker 2: gonna flop those you want. Do you think they want that?
- 24:28Speaker 2: O you Notre Dame?
- 24:29Speaker 3: Yes, one hundred percent, I don't pain No. And then
- 24:33Speaker 3: they're just gonna drop Alabama to ten?
- 24:35Speaker 2: What do I get that?
- 24:36Speaker 3: Because Alabama that's perfect, a pain and over.
- 24:41Speaker 2: They have set this that perfect stop. This is pre premade.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Oh you, Like I said, L s U. L s
- 24:47Speaker 2: U and Notre Dame have been the pain in Oklahoma's
- 24:50Speaker 2: asses for years, sure, but they played good. Notre Dame
- 24:52Speaker 2: has been longer because remember Notre Dame was the one
- 24:54Speaker 2: that the street beat us and the end of the street,
- 24:57Speaker 2: you know, began and ended. So but I'm saying in
- 25:00Speaker 2: strong game for that stupid play wrong champion.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Strong, strong defense, great running game, true freshman quarterback versus
- 25:08Speaker 3: our defense, great running game, no our.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Quarterback. All you need two defensive touchdowns is out the
- 25:20Speaker 2: ass an O line that you cannot get through? Is
- 25:25Speaker 2: that where we're going. I'm just saying it's not the
- 25:28Speaker 2: worst matchup. Also, ladies and gentlemen, you really want to
- 25:31Speaker 2: know he'll sell you a car to No, it's not
- 25:33Speaker 2: the worst matchup. Notame, it's not a car for it.
- 25:37Speaker 2: We got something on a deal that's three hundred bucks,
- 25:40Speaker 2: five hundred buck. You give it to me and get
- 25:41Speaker 2: a fixed somewhere. So uh yeah, so I'm interested. We'll
- 25:47Speaker 2: talk after so anyway, Otherwise, I think everything else stays
- 25:50Speaker 2: the same.
- 25:51Speaker 3: It's it's really going to be the championship game and
- 25:53Speaker 3: the seeding they move. But b Yu, we're gonna have
- 25:58Speaker 3: to wait to see with us. Yeah, but b Yu's
- 25:59Speaker 3: not in with a loss. Okay, No, No, I know
- 26:02Speaker 3: Bise not. But I think Alabama stays with a loss.
- 26:07Speaker 2: They did. That's that's what I said.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Because because they've got three other SEC teams ahead of them.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Here's that. You don't have to remember that. But hold
- 26:17Speaker 2: on now, back up real quick.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Oh but are we not punishing him them for that
- 26:22Speaker 3: Florida State loss? Like we're punishing Texas for the Florida loss.
- 26:26Speaker 3: It's like the state of Florida. Think about that, well, no,
- 26:31Speaker 3: think about that and then Miami's getting punished for their
- 26:33Speaker 3: loss against Louisville.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I think is that it? Yeah? And what Louisville finish up?
- 26:41Speaker 2: Go ahead in the top twenty five? Back to your point, well,
- 26:44Speaker 2: I don't even know what point. No, you we were
- 26:46Speaker 2: talking about seeding, were talking about seeding.
- 26:48Speaker 3: No.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I just had to get that. It's kind of funny
- 26:50Speaker 2: that Alabama's not really getting they they lost to Louisville
- 26:56Speaker 2: by three, Louisville is outside the rank. And Florida State
- 27:02Speaker 2: they beat, which also beat Alabama. It's very tricky and
- 27:10Speaker 2: this is why, this is why those guys take all
- 27:12Speaker 2: day to even do.
- 27:12Speaker 3: And by the way, Miami beat Florida, who beat Texas,
- 27:16Speaker 3: So see Texas.
- 27:17Speaker 2: That's why I don't really think Texas is in anyway Sean.
- 27:21Speaker 2: But at this point, okay, so once I'm gonna tell
- 27:26Speaker 2: you right now, once the college Football Playoff ranking comes
- 27:30Speaker 2: out about waiting on the Boo birds, No, something happened
- 27:36Speaker 2: with the camera. It's always had that eye, right. I
- 27:40Speaker 2: saw something move in the car. I think it was you.
- 27:43Speaker 2: So once the college Football Playoff rankings come out, those
- 27:50Speaker 2: people need to be stuck in a hotel for a month,
- 27:54Speaker 2: stuck where at the conference wherever they're at right media blackout,
- 27:58Speaker 2: they only get to watch the games. Oh you're talking
- 28:01Speaker 2: at the end of these championship games. No, I mean
- 28:04Speaker 2: now from whenever that ranking starts until oh no, until after.
- 28:10Speaker 2: These people need to be on a media black up
- 28:12Speaker 2: because I don't need Sarkesian talking about how he plays
- 28:15Speaker 2: the toughest schedule in the United And.
- 28:18Speaker 3: They're changing schedules already every every SEC ten even though
- 28:21Speaker 3: they've got.
- 28:21Speaker 2: To go right. Like I said, they can watch it
- 28:23Speaker 2: up to that point, and then they only get to
- 28:25Speaker 2: watch the games. Okay, they don't get to see two
- 28:28Speaker 2: like a sequestered jury. Yes, yes, and so they just
- 28:32Speaker 2: have to live there together, and they would have to
- 28:34Speaker 2: hire people with meeting us jobs. We can do this.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I'm meaningless. I don't you know a job.
- 28:41Speaker 3: I honestly don't think when you look at it, that
- 28:43Speaker 3: they're doing that bad a job, except that Notre Dame
- 28:47Speaker 3: and Miami deal bothers me a little bit.
- 28:49Speaker 2: It really does. But I think it's one of them.
- 28:52Speaker 3: One, and I think it really bothers me to think
- 28:55Speaker 3: about A and m If you look at their cream
- 28:57Speaker 3: puff schedule in the SEC.
- 28:59Speaker 2: The SEC is not easy. I'm not saying that.
- 29:01Speaker 3: But if you look at who they drew, they drew
- 29:05Speaker 3: the bottom of the SEC.
- 29:08Speaker 2: So did Texas.
- 29:09Speaker 3: No, Texas had a little bit harder because they had
- 29:11Speaker 3: to play US and Georgia, so that bumps them up.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Hell, Louisville got Louisville got Stoops fired. Well, yeah, it
- 29:19Speaker 2: was time for that to happen. Why is dumbnuts not
- 29:22Speaker 2: fired yet? Dude South Kakilaki, Well he just he's not
- 29:26Speaker 2: been there thirteen years.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Like okay, So A and M. I'm just gonna go
- 29:30Speaker 3: over the SEC schedule. How the Notre Dame win is great.
- 29:34Speaker 3: But they beat Auburn by six.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Okay, but we all said that a great defense they did,
- 29:38Speaker 2: and I'm not saying that's bad.
- 29:40Speaker 3: It was at home too, A and M. They beat
- 29:43Speaker 3: thirty one to nine. They beat Florida by seventeen. They
- 29:46Speaker 3: beat Arkansas by three, They beat LSU by twenty four,
- 29:50Speaker 3: they beat Missouri by twenty one. They beat South Carolina
- 29:54Speaker 3: by one. Don't forget they were down thirty to nothing, thirty.
- 29:57Speaker 2: To three as and the they lost to Texas by
- 30:01Speaker 2: ten in Texas. So they've played they've played the bottom
- 30:06Speaker 2: portion of the sec. I mean, I would love to
- 30:09Speaker 2: every year play Mississippi State, Florida or well that's what
- 30:13Speaker 2: Texas is trying to do. Well, No, but they they
- 30:16Speaker 2: did have some harder games. They played Georgia, and they
- 30:18Speaker 2: played Oklahoma and they played Vanderbilt. Still, any total, Texas
- 30:24Speaker 2: is trying to get the most cream puff schedule they
- 30:25Speaker 2: can and then call it the hardest.
- 30:29Speaker 3: I agree with that. Well, no, they're just they're threatening.
- 30:31Speaker 3: It's all a threatening game. But the media deal is
- 30:34Speaker 3: not gonna work. It's not gonna get them in. But
- 30:36Speaker 3: let's talk about Vanderbilt. They're very interesting because they.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Also they lost too late in the season.
- 30:42Speaker 3: They lost to Alabama, which is in the championship game,
- 30:45Speaker 3: and they lost to Texas, who's right ahead of them.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Right, but they love by Texas too late in the season.
- 30:53Speaker 3: But by three in Austin, that's not a bad loss
- 30:56Speaker 3: and it's a good win for Texas, So argument might say,
- 31:01Speaker 3: but you know, then you look at the I don't know,
- 31:04Speaker 3: in the top twenty five, Vandy is above Texas.
- 31:06Speaker 2: It's it's it needs it of course, because they have
- 31:10Speaker 2: one less loss. I didn't think losses mattered for Texas. Well.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Apparently it doesn't. I mean, Notre Dame's got two losses
- 31:18Speaker 2: and there're still nine. But it goes back to the
- 31:22Speaker 2: USC's got three losses and there above. They've always them
- 31:25Speaker 2: in Texas have always been the highest three loss team
- 31:27Speaker 2: all year. It seems like Georgia.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Well, and that was funny because they got put back
- 31:33Speaker 3: in to help everybody.
- 31:35Speaker 2: That beat the SEC.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Everybody that beat Missouri got a bonus point because they
- 31:40Speaker 3: be a ranked team. Are ranked team, So is Missouri
- 31:44Speaker 3: in the college football rankings? Okay, do they count that?
- 31:47Speaker 3: How do they count ranked? Because they'd have to count ranked.
- 31:51Speaker 3: That's another thing. Start, don't I brought this up before.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Don't count Do you count the ranking at the time?
- 31:58Speaker 2: No? No, Do you count the ranking at the end
- 31:59Speaker 2: of the season. No, no, no, I just say no
- 32:02Speaker 2: to me. No, you don't count it till the end.
- 32:05Speaker 2: That's okay, And then you meant to say yes after
- 32:07Speaker 2: I don't want to hear we beat the number one
- 32:09Speaker 2: team game one. Well, the number one team's got four losses, yep,
- 32:14Speaker 2: three losses. Ohio State beat them. But yeah, sure, that's right.
- 32:20Speaker 2: You just said something that when Penn State's got what
- 32:23Speaker 2: five or six losses? Two, Tate was a special animal.
- 32:29Speaker 2: All right, anything else on the playoff, I think we
- 32:31Speaker 2: all knew that. We all knew what Penn State was
- 32:34Speaker 2: except for Penn State. Penn State had no idea who
- 32:37Speaker 2: they really were. We're telling them, you're still Penn State.
- 32:41Speaker 2: You got James Franklin, who's like two and twenty five
- 32:44Speaker 2: against top ten teams.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Does the U go back to uh talk about Penn State.
- 32:54Speaker 3: They fire, they wanted the first to fire their coach,
- 32:57Speaker 3: and then they still don't have a coach. It really
- 33:00Speaker 3: is going to lean into.
- 33:04Speaker 2: The interim. They're talking about bringing James Madison's coach in.
- 33:08Speaker 2: They're talking about going after the Boer, that one they've
- 33:12Speaker 2: talked about a little bit, and it's kind of else
- 33:15Speaker 2: they going after. I heard some other names. Harry Smith
- 33:18Speaker 2: the interim. That's a big one that's been talked about.
- 33:20Speaker 2: But I've heard some other names. Yeah, but he lost
- 33:22Speaker 2: a couple of games.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Oh well yeah, yeah, he's three and three as its
- 33:25Speaker 3: head coaching. But he's been at Penn State since twenty fourteen.
- 33:29Speaker 2: I mean, this is this is he was like LSU
- 33:32Speaker 2: with with their coach ordern Non the second time. What no,
- 33:37Speaker 2: the guy behind Kelly. He had been on a three
- 33:40Speaker 2: game street, yeah, until he got to Oklahoma and then
- 33:44Speaker 2: damn near tried to win that game. But which you
- 33:45Speaker 2: know that he wasn't going to get the job. I mean,
- 33:48Speaker 2: I just heard that that kid that was their quarterback
- 33:51Speaker 2: was somebody that we went after, and I'd forgotten about that.
- 33:54Speaker 2: The three named guy. I can't think of his name,
- 33:56Speaker 2: Tyler Lamar, Yes, Nutrient Junior.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Okay, anything else on playoffs, Let's get to know. Let's
- 34:04Speaker 3: talk a little bit about we talked about. Oh you
- 34:06Speaker 3: jump in to let's talk about OU great win seventh?
- 34:11Speaker 3: Was it seventeen thirteen? Sean, I think that's that was
- 34:13Speaker 3: my prediction.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I think I had it right. It was seventeen thirteen.
- 34:17Speaker 2: It's good, that's it. And I told you that going
- 34:20Speaker 2: into that game. Oh yeah, that's right. We played fucking
- 34:26Speaker 2: nineteen days of football yet sixty last week's picks seventeen
- 34:31Speaker 2: seventy thirteen, and I and I had said, you know,
- 34:34Speaker 2: watch out, we need we need to watch out for
- 34:36Speaker 2: l SU because with a new coach, scheme changes, player changes,
- 34:43Speaker 2: all that, and it's exactly what happened with LSU coming in.
- 34:47Speaker 2: There's no nuss Meyer, there was an entire offensive scheme change.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's and it's a it's the coaching, it's the
- 34:57Speaker 3: what they call it the interim coaching boost and whatever.
- 34:59Speaker 3: So no, I think that what this game really amounted
- 35:02Speaker 3: to was big plays by Yeah, Matier had some big
- 35:07Speaker 3: plays through three picks, though a couple of them were
- 35:11Speaker 3: just horrible.
- 35:12Speaker 2: That one that kept tell let's tell you right now,
- 35:17Speaker 2: Mateer saved two touchdowns.
- 35:20Speaker 3: He did no, And I was getting ready to say
- 35:22Speaker 3: that they were No, they were just able to keep
- 35:27Speaker 3: the points off the board and for their defense to
- 35:29Speaker 3: keep playing. But no defense another game that was exceptional.
- 35:33Speaker 3: They made the big plays and they needed to. Yeah
- 35:35Speaker 3: I know, I tweeted all these people saying.
- 35:37Speaker 2: You screwed up and made Oh you is the is
- 35:40Speaker 2: the worst playoff team in history? Okay, yeah, we you know,
- 35:43Speaker 2: still led the We led in possession, penalties and turnovers
- 35:48Speaker 2: that game. So we won and still won. So hey,
- 35:50Speaker 2: we also won third downs.
- 35:54Speaker 3: But no, I thought the defense just once again played
- 35:58Speaker 3: to just played exceptional. And it's the same old song
- 36:02Speaker 3: as you might say. Yeah, you know, and I was
- 36:07Speaker 3: flipping back through you know it was Twitter. Now, Twitter
- 36:12Speaker 3: was just very hard on ou and about the scoring
- 36:15Speaker 3: and everybody, and I thought, man, you know.
- 36:17Speaker 2: When we we've.
- 36:18Speaker 3: At Florida State in two thousand, scores thirteen to two,
- 36:21Speaker 3: and if I'm not mistaken, we give them the two
- 36:24Speaker 3: we did, so did be thrown out in the back
- 36:27Speaker 3: of the end zone or kick it out of the
- 36:29Speaker 3: back of the end zone or something so the field
- 36:31Speaker 3: position better. No defense does win championships. Now, do I
- 36:34Speaker 3: think Oklahoma can make this run with this offense?
- 36:37Speaker 2: No?
- 36:37Speaker 3: I do not, but I but I think it could
- 36:42Speaker 3: be very interesting because our offense is capable of big
- 36:46Speaker 3: plays and we just got to get rid of the
- 36:49Speaker 3: penalties and by god, find a running game somewhere somehow.
- 36:53Speaker 3: And that's why you know you talked about Tech being
- 36:55Speaker 3: able to beat Notre Dame.
- 36:57Speaker 2: I don't think Notre Dame is a bad matchup for us.
- 36:59Speaker 3: I'm not saying we could just go wipe the floor
- 37:01Speaker 3: of them, but I like the matchup better than a
- 37:03Speaker 3: rematch with Alabama.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Lloyd Carr's grandson, Yes, yes, and he's gonna be good
- 37:09Speaker 2: year three, he'll be top five, So yeah, he's good.
- 37:12Speaker 3: I mean, he is legit, but he hadn't played a
- 37:17Speaker 3: legit defense all year because A and M hasn't got
- 37:20Speaker 3: a legit defense.
- 37:22Speaker 2: That's their place. South Florida, what about their legit? They
- 37:25Speaker 2: held them tight. But congratulations to Oklahoma. Ten and two.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Beat our projections. I was nine, you were eight and four.
- 37:37Speaker 3: So I went for the worst case.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Tulsa. You suck god. You were leading the whole game
- 37:44Speaker 2: and gave it up in the fourth quarter. So instead
- 37:46Speaker 2: of five and seven, you got four wins. But get
- 37:48Speaker 2: you to the quarterback hindered, Thesa. You gave it up
- 37:52Speaker 2: like me with with crazy women.
- 37:54Speaker 3: So entered the portal and then O s U once again.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Kirk Francis quarterback for Tulsa. No.
- 38:02Speaker 2: I was surprised too, but maybe Tulsa's got a plan.
- 38:05Speaker 3: We don't know about. So Kinna played at uab yes,
- 38:09Speaker 3: and he had a good game. He really shouldn't have.
- 38:11Speaker 2: No, but he did. Didn't make mistakes. See what we
- 38:14Speaker 2: were doing.
- 38:14Speaker 1: We were winning seventeen to and then touchdown, touchdown, touchdown,
- 38:20Speaker 1: and we were like, oh, well, what are we going
- 38:21Speaker 1: to do in the second half? I say, we hold
- 38:23Speaker 1: our thumbs in our ass.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Okay, let's go to let's do a little bit, let's
- 38:27Speaker 2: talk some coaching. Okay, obviously, all right, the big news
- 38:30Speaker 2: Lane Kiff. Ryan Day had the most humbled speech when
- 38:34Speaker 2: he finally beat Michigan. Okay, go ahead. Did you not
- 38:38Speaker 2: hear that he goes about getting the players off the
- 38:40Speaker 2: field or the speech out. No, it was the speech
- 38:42Speaker 2: afterwards he goes, He's like, this is a very humbling win.
- 38:48Speaker 2: That's exactly what he said. He goes, this is this
- 38:50Speaker 2: is where this is one of the most humbling wins.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Like he was very he wasn't fired up after the game.
- 38:55Speaker 2: He was very low key and calm, and it was
- 39:01Speaker 2: very surprising to me. I mean, just beat Michigan in
- 39:04Speaker 2: Michigan and you're just setting there like, yeah, there's a
- 39:09Speaker 2: lot more work to do. I mean they're being in
- 39:12Speaker 2: twenty seven to nine. Yeah, Michigan struggles on offense.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Defense was good, and so you know, putting up twenty
- 39:18Speaker 3: I mean twenty points saying did his part. I don't
- 39:22Speaker 3: think nineteen to twenty six is eighty percent though, so
- 39:26Speaker 3: he was probably a little below his percentage.
- 39:31Speaker 2: But no, Jackson, but he'd be yes, I did. But Michigan,
- 39:35Speaker 2: you know, is pretty much what what you would see
- 39:39Speaker 2: as what it bo Jackson, Yes, bo Jackson. Yes, it's
- 39:43Speaker 2: pretty much what you would see. He was from a
- 39:46Speaker 2: he was a ninety six, L was a QBR. But
- 39:48Speaker 2: what's that percentage I used to give those to us?
- 39:51Speaker 2: Go back into play team stats, isn't it won't come
- 39:58Speaker 2: up with that. I don't know, but I just hit
- 40:00Speaker 2: something that's fun. Fitz Crew's up. It's oh man, Yeah,
- 40:07Speaker 2: they don't give it. And like I said, they used
- 40:09Speaker 2: to give us those numbers and they don't give us
- 40:10Speaker 2: those numbers anymore. Yeah. I was just trying to think
- 40:12Speaker 2: about person. I think NFL you have like five different
- 40:15Speaker 2: numbers after the quarterback. Sure, sure, well, and they have
- 40:17Speaker 2: a bunch of different rankings too.
- 40:18Speaker 3: But anyway, uh, but you know, Underwood had a bad game,
- 40:20Speaker 3: eight of eighteen, only sixty three yards. Michigan needs to
- 40:23Speaker 3: go back and find a better offense in two years.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Don't bring a better offense back next year to Arbor
- 40:28Speaker 3: and ar Oklola plays it unless we've adge on that,
- 40:31Speaker 3: because since Texas is going to just cancel every hard
- 40:34Speaker 3: game and play Popcorn State every week until they have
- 40:37Speaker 3: to play nine SEC games. But anyway, let's go to
- 40:40Speaker 3: coaching changes. Lane Kiffin wasn't a surprise. I think both
- 40:43Speaker 3: of us kind of thought maybe for an incle.
- 40:45Speaker 2: I already knew he was leaving.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I told you, yeah, But I thought maybe maybe
- 40:49Speaker 3: just say you can't turn a hole to a half line.
- 40:51Speaker 2: You just could turn and he would stay at Mississippi.
- 40:54Speaker 2: And then I was like, they ain't gonna do nothing.
- 40:55Speaker 2: The longer it goes, the longer it goes, it's trash.
- 40:59Speaker 3: But anyway, we talked about in state, but just these
- 41:04Speaker 3: are jobs that you want to talk about as far
- 41:06Speaker 3: as it might affect the other team in these No, no, it's.
- 41:09Speaker 2: O Rant that coaches.
- 41:11Speaker 3: But Brian Hartline offensive coordinator for Ohio State, obviously didn't
- 41:14Speaker 3: call the play, but they're one of their best recruiters.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Takes a South Florida job Neil Brown if you remember
- 41:20Speaker 3: O'Neil from West Virginia days in the Big Twelve.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Not a bad coach.
- 41:24Speaker 3: He takes the North Texas job, Will Stein offensive coordinator
- 41:27Speaker 3: from Oregon. He's hired and he calls the plays. So
- 41:31Speaker 3: he's going to be Kentucky's new head coach. Pats Fitzgerald,
- 41:36Speaker 3: formerly of Northwestern. They had that big nasty lawsuit with
- 41:39Speaker 3: the hazing and all that stuff.
- 41:40Speaker 2: He won, name cleared.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Michigan State goes, okay, we want you fired Jonathan Smith,
- 41:44Speaker 3: who just was there for two seasons and he had
- 41:46Speaker 3: Oregon State winning where they're horrible bad so. Also, UCLA
- 41:54Speaker 3: hires Bob Chesney from James Madison, which not a lot
- 41:57Speaker 3: of connection that I found over there. As far as
- 42:00Speaker 3: the West coast, I kind of thought Penn State would
- 42:02Speaker 3: look at him, and maybe they did, and nothing happened.
- 42:05Speaker 3: But Pete Cole Pete Golden gets promoted from DC Old
- 42:10Speaker 3: Miss Obviously, Lane goes to LSU, John Summer all these two.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Lane takes over at Florida, which I think is a sneaky,
- 42:17Speaker 3: really sneaky good hire. You look at his history, some
- 42:20Speaker 3: of these coaches that have been head coach's first time,
- 42:24Speaker 3: you know, not so much the case for John So
- 42:27Speaker 3: Alex Goulish, former Josh Heipel protege offensive coordinator at Tennessee.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Then he took the.
- 42:34Speaker 3: South Florida job and did a good job there and
- 42:38Speaker 3: building that South floor job, it was bad. Ryan Silverfield
- 42:42Speaker 3: takes over for Arkansas. I don't know much about Ryan.
- 42:44Speaker 3: I know Memphis gets coaches hired. You look at previous
- 42:48Speaker 3: coaches like, essentially that will be coaching. Like Mike Morveil,
- 42:51Speaker 3: he came from Memphis and went to Florida State. Hasn't
- 42:54Speaker 3: always worked out to Feta Pritchard. Everyone kind of knew
- 42:56Speaker 3: he was gonna take the Stanford job. I think a
- 42:58Speaker 3: sneaky good hire was Jim More from You Gone. He
- 43:00Speaker 3: had a good season it Yukon last year, Dan takes
- 43:06Speaker 3: over for Norville. Eric Morris I think one of my
- 43:08Speaker 3: favorite hires from Oakland State, not just because it's partial
- 43:11Speaker 3: I'd read.
- 43:12Speaker 2: And then James Franklin.
- 43:13Speaker 3: He took every recruit he had a Penn State and
- 43:16Speaker 3: brought them to Virginia Tech, so that was never good.
- 43:20Speaker 3: And then Kent State finishes up with a guy named
- 43:22Speaker 3: Mark Carney promoted as the interim coach.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Shoe heead So I like that. I like Eric.
- 43:29Speaker 3: We don't do grades. We joke about that. I don't
- 43:31Speaker 3: know how you grade a coach getting hired before they've
- 43:35Speaker 3: ever coached.
- 43:37Speaker 2: I did look back at some old previous coaching.
- 43:40Speaker 3: Benable's got an a minus on one guy's ranking, and
- 43:43Speaker 3: there was some other things I was trying to define
- 43:45Speaker 3: to see what it looked like.
- 43:46Speaker 2: But anyway, thinks that cable. Oh but no, I thought.
- 43:52Speaker 3: So you got Tulane open, and you've got Memphis open,
- 43:55Speaker 3: and they're waiting on probably some assistance.
- 43:57Speaker 2: It looks like Yukon's open.
- 43:59Speaker 3: But hey, big Ones, Penser Day, Texas already still no job.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Not that I maybe they have I read something, But
- 44:07Speaker 3: you know we've got yes Neil Brown.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Sorry, so I don't think he's coaching though, is he? No? No, no, no,
- 44:14Speaker 2: And that's what's cool is those guys are staying well no, no,
- 44:17Speaker 2: but I know that we've got a North Texas twu
- 44:19Speaker 2: lane game where both coaches have moved on. They're staying. Yes,
- 44:23Speaker 2: they're staying to coach. Yes they are there. Yes, yeah,
- 44:26Speaker 2: like I thought they were already. No, Charlie Weiss comes back. Uh,
- 44:30Speaker 2: well no, Charlie wise Ju, you don't know how big
- 44:34Speaker 2: North Texas James Madison twu lane.
- 44:38Speaker 3: They're sharp enough to know that they're not always going
- 44:41Speaker 3: to get a chance to potentially make the playoffs. Mississippi
- 44:44Speaker 3: just hates Lane, so they're like, get the hell out, Okay, Charlie,
- 44:48Speaker 3: come back.
- 44:49Speaker 2: I just Lane Kiffin is running through the SEC like
- 44:53Speaker 2: a truck stop hooker. Alabama hates him. Old miss hates
- 45:02Speaker 2: him time out on that.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Well, and what's great is they play miss A, Mississippi
- 45:07Speaker 3: and at Tennessee next year. You talk about game days
- 45:10Speaker 3: going to both doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if Illas
- 45:12Speaker 3: she's struggling at three and eight.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Florida eleven, Florida hates you, but they'll take you back. Yeah.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Yeah, So no, that's gonna be great TV next year
- 45:21Speaker 3: because both of them play.
- 45:22Speaker 2: So Mustard is gonna get thrown out of him kidding, no, kidding,
- 45:27Speaker 2: all right, anything you're coaching, Yeah, I think that's pretty
- 45:30Speaker 2: much your coaching hour. Pretty Much coaching bores me.
- 45:33Speaker 3: I love it because it makes a difference, and it
- 45:36Speaker 3: is especially in.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Any football It definitely makes a different definitely, And I
- 45:41Speaker 2: would say college basketball for recruiting, an NBA for egos. Yeah.
- 45:48Speaker 2: The problem is that, uh, Oklahoma State doesn't or Oklahoma
- 45:51Speaker 2: City doesn't have egos right now because they're all too
- 45:53Speaker 2: young to have you guys. You know, I think some
- 45:56Speaker 2: of those guys just I think your biggest, your biggest,
- 45:59Speaker 2: uh you the biggest ego on that team was Crusoe. Well,
- 46:03Speaker 2: it's just because he's old and bad, That's what I'm saying.
- 46:05Speaker 2: That's the biggest ego. Oh. The rest of them are
- 46:07Speaker 2: just kiddo.
- 46:08Speaker 3: But I mean you watch them play deep but I
- 46:11Speaker 3: think you bring them free agents in and you're like.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Hey, can they not eat some barbecue? If you're not
- 46:17Speaker 2: going to play defense, you're not going to run and press.
- 46:19Speaker 2: Anybody here knows anything about our barbecue. I will we
- 46:23Speaker 2: have good barbecue, we do, but I'm just not a
- 46:25Speaker 2: big barbecue fan, you know what I mean.
- 46:28Speaker 3: You think about that, it's like, you know, because we
- 46:30Speaker 3: went up to Kansas City for the Royals game and
- 46:35Speaker 3: we found a hole in the wall Mexican place, and well,
- 46:39Speaker 3: I'm just that was great.
- 46:40Speaker 2: No, I mean it was just great. And they're like,
- 46:42Speaker 2: and I was telling these people, like you didn't have barbecue,
- 46:44Speaker 2: and I'm like, no, I mean I've had Kansas City
- 46:47Speaker 2: barbecue before. It's good. But it's just like Kansas City barbecues.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Born to find hole in the walls that have other things. Yeah,
- 46:55Speaker 2: I need to find that Mexican place because I'll tell
- 46:58Speaker 2: you right now that now, no, we would become a
- 47:00Speaker 2: food Oh yeah, let me become a food put Uh.
- 47:03Speaker 2: There are some great places down in the backwoods of
- 47:06Speaker 2: Alabama that are just little shacks that sell some of
- 47:10Speaker 2: the most amazing barbecue. Oh well some of the Yeah,
- 47:13Speaker 2: the Mom and Paul places are the best. I'm just
- 47:15Speaker 2: like that little pizza place. We need to get up
- 47:17Speaker 2: over by the airport, and that shop that we always
- 47:20Speaker 2: think is closed. Which one is that little pizza place
- 47:23Speaker 2: that's right there before you get the mohawk? Oh? Is that?
- 47:27Speaker 2: Are you sure that's open? Past it? One day it
- 47:29Speaker 2: was open. Sorry.
- 47:30Speaker 3: They got a soul food place at the airport too.
- 47:31Speaker 3: That here's really good. Mama something.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Do you think you want to take a flight somewhere? No,
- 47:35Speaker 2: we could just drive over there and eat there. We
- 47:37Speaker 2: don't have to fly in. All right, let's get on NFL. No,
- 47:41Speaker 2: we have some championship games. Oh we got to pick.
- 47:44Speaker 2: I'm sorry, god, oh my gosh, we didn't champion. Okay, sorry, sorry,
- 47:50Speaker 2: I forgot about the picks.
- 47:51Speaker 3: I was getting excited. I was looking at the time.
- 47:53Speaker 3: We're gonna keep it under hour today, all right, sun Belt,
- 47:55Speaker 3: it's okay if we're going No, I know, sun Belt
- 47:57Speaker 3: Conference Championship.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Sun Belt one of the huge I would say yes
- 48:03Speaker 2: and no to the rent of a conference USA. They're
- 48:06Speaker 2: still above the mac the whack and is the wax
- 48:09Speaker 2: still there? I don't know. In the Mountain West, Okay,
- 48:12Speaker 2: there's jam U playing Troy in Harrisburg, Virginia. Looks like
- 48:19Speaker 2: a cold day. Weather looks clear though. Three and a
- 48:22Speaker 2: half gonna be six o'clock.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Friday night viewing pleasures because we've got three games Friday
- 48:28Speaker 3: night they're gonna start.
- 48:29Speaker 2: So I'm gonna take that. I am gonna take that.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Twenty three and a half, give me, give me a
- 48:35Speaker 2: forty eight to seventeen. It's huge. Yeah, they're gonna run
- 48:42Speaker 2: it up pretty good. I'm not gonna be a big score. Yeah,
- 48:44Speaker 2: forty because they are fighting ever since they've came into
- 48:48Speaker 2: the league and Signetty was their coach. Now I'm gonna
- 48:50Speaker 2: go forty eight. They're gonna cover every since, every ever
- 48:53Speaker 2: since you know, James Madison moved up to Division one.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Uh call what do we call it the CFP? It
- 49:03Speaker 2: just too many one A yeah, one A. They have
- 49:07Speaker 2: they have done very well. And Signetti was their coach
- 49:09Speaker 2: before he moved on to Indiana. And this guy is
- 49:14Speaker 2: also being looked at by top programs as the next
- 49:19Speaker 2: coach for sure. Yeah, he's the next head coaching U
- 49:23Speaker 2: c l A. Yeah, hired him. Yeah, already hard Yeah,
- 49:28Speaker 2: you miss my, you had to go to your core business.
- 49:31Speaker 3: But yeah, James Madison coach, and he stays. He's also staying.
- 49:35Speaker 3: So yes, especially if they make the playoff, everybody's staying.
- 49:38Speaker 2: I realize what it is. You see your hand in
- 49:40Speaker 2: forty forty. Let's move on Jacksonville State.
- 49:45Speaker 3: We didn't pick that one, but no, because this one,
- 49:47Speaker 3: that that one means a bunch because if Duke wins,
- 49:51Speaker 3: James Madison.
- 49:52Speaker 2: You're in. Yeah, you were in. I think everybody listening
- 49:55Speaker 2: to the podcast. Okay, So anyway, American Championship also huge.
- 49:59Speaker 2: I'm taking by three. Okay. So North Texas two and
- 50:02Speaker 2: a half point favorite. Looks like it's gonna.
- 50:04Speaker 3: Be rain Love Lane. It's gonna be rainy. It's gonna
- 50:07Speaker 3: be rainy. It's gonna be in New Orleans. It's essentially
- 50:12Speaker 3: a home game for two Lane.
- 50:13Speaker 2: But they're in a dome. I know they're in Newland State.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Yes, you're in Newland Stadium. So I don't I don't
- 50:17Speaker 3: know why they're not playing in the dome.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Maybe there's a game going. It's Friday, So yeah, the
- 50:22Speaker 2: show I like the home team thirty one thirty very close.
- 50:29Speaker 2: I'll take that same lane. Really. The only reason I'm
- 50:33Speaker 2: not picking North Texas I think North Texas has more
- 50:36Speaker 2: talent and dip skill positions. I don't like a passing
- 50:39Speaker 2: game in the rain to be to be the excelling point.
- 50:43Speaker 2: At least it's a warm rain, and it's a warm rain,
- 50:46Speaker 2: all right, you know the boys. We're not taking that
- 50:49Speaker 2: NOE preseason favorites to make the group of five.
- 50:54Speaker 3: Oh you know, yeah, we did pick it. I like,
- 50:55Speaker 3: I like, well, I just had it up here. It's
- 50:57Speaker 3: five years. It was like an air Gorson contract. Boise,
- 51:01Speaker 3: you could I'm picking thirty one twenty four. I like
- 51:06Speaker 3: Boise in this one simply because I looked at you
- 51:09Speaker 3: and have a schedule.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Who Boise? Okay, the coach there, he's Dan Mullen. Ye
- 51:18Speaker 2: looked at No. I know he had a great season.
- 51:20Speaker 3: It's just you look at a schedule a lot of
- 51:22Speaker 3: close wins, and that's good. But I think Boise's probably
- 51:25Speaker 3: a little bit more talented overall. I'm taking Boise, and
- 51:28Speaker 3: I think Sean, where was that game at? It's at Boise, I.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Believe, isn't it it's a home game. Yeah, so it's
- 51:34Speaker 2: Boise Okay, boys, I don't know but that that's not
- 51:37Speaker 2: their university, Yes it is. Yes, they just got the
- 51:39Speaker 2: naming right, all right. The first most important game of
- 51:45Speaker 2: the Saturday of December sixth, of the year of Our
- 51:48Speaker 2: Lord of twenty twenty five. Eleven am the Big twelve
- 51:53Speaker 2: Championship down in at and T Stadium, b YU traveling
- 51:58Speaker 2: back down to Texas, Texas, Texas twelve and a half
- 52:02Speaker 2: point favorite. I'm taking Texas Tech. Uh, I'll take a
- 52:12Speaker 2: twenty eight to seventeen. I think by you does a
- 52:15Speaker 2: little better. I think they've matured a little more with
- 52:18Speaker 2: their comebacks.
- 52:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think they get that come to twenty
- 52:20Speaker 3: nine to seven. Was the last game it was at
- 52:23Speaker 3: Texas Tech home. It was only I don't remember what
- 52:25Speaker 3: time of the year it was as far as the season,
- 52:28Speaker 3: but that game was dominated by Texas Tech. Course, like
- 52:31Speaker 3: I said, it wasn't home. I like Tech to repeat
- 52:33Speaker 3: the win here, win the Big twelve Championship thirty to seventeen.
- 52:38Speaker 2: Well, you give them a lot of points, yes, I'll
- 52:40Speaker 2: them seventeen Yeah, yeah, alright, Miami Ohio versus Western all.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Right, the three o'clock game ABC the snows. This is
- 52:51Speaker 3: where game Day's going, of course, because ESPN and they
- 52:55Speaker 3: just own each other. No game days should have been
- 52:58Speaker 3: at one versus two?
- 53:01Speaker 2: Should we go down to the Mercedes been in Hotlanta?
- 53:05Speaker 2: Oh got two and a half point favorite? Do you
- 53:07Speaker 2: believe that? You buy that?
- 53:08Speaker 3: I know, because they already beat him, But doesn't Georgia
- 53:12Speaker 3: look a little better on defense?
- 53:13Speaker 2: To me? Can get twenty one? Can I get a
- 53:16Speaker 2: twenty one? Twenty Alabama? They shank an extra point?
- 53:19Speaker 3: Okay, so Alabama twenty one to twenty Oh no Georgia.
- 53:22Speaker 2: Oh you're gonna go Georgia, Georgia. I'm saying Alabama shanks
- 53:26Speaker 2: and gotcha? Okay.
- 53:28Speaker 3: I like Georgia. I like Georgia a little bigger here.
- 53:30Speaker 3: I think Georgia dominates the second half, wears down Alabama
- 53:34Speaker 3: and they get a couple of turnovers.
- 53:35Speaker 2: I like it. Like thirty one to twenty four. No,
- 53:39Speaker 2: thirty one, twenty one, thirty one, twenty one. Sorry all
- 53:42Speaker 2: my Obama friends.
- 53:44Speaker 3: But I had to, and I'm rooting for Georgia obviously
- 53:46Speaker 3: because of the placement with Oklahoma. All right, moving on,
- 53:49Speaker 3: where game day should have went, let's do the ACC
- 53:52Speaker 3: or they shouldn't have went. Uh same, Where are they
- 53:54Speaker 3: going at Georgia Alabama? It's SEC related LOESPN ABC.
- 54:02Speaker 2: It's true, let's go to the a CC champions. Are
- 54:04Speaker 2: you gonna say that Uber eats in the in the
- 54:06Speaker 2: in the food baker from Mayfield? Possible? Duke Virginia. It's
- 54:12Speaker 2: gonna be in North Carolina, so there could be a
- 54:14Speaker 2: little bit of a and Charlotte's not the closest.
- 54:17Speaker 3: I mean, it's not like it's Duke's hometown, but it
- 54:20Speaker 3: is in North Carolina right across the Yeah, so Virginia
- 54:23Speaker 3: right across Virginia. Virginia comes in ranked six, seventeenth or
- 54:28Speaker 3: ten and two. Now, if you look at Virginia's schedule,
- 54:31Speaker 3: they have not played the cream of the crop of
- 54:33Speaker 3: the ACC.
- 54:35Speaker 2: I don't bet they have played some very good games. So,
- 54:38Speaker 2: and also Chandler Morris is on a heater, and then
- 54:41Speaker 2: you've got Duke coming in at seven and five, which
- 54:45Speaker 2: I don't remember what you had them picked up, I.
- 54:48Speaker 3: Think, but I think they were a little higher because
- 54:50Speaker 3: I I'm not saying I think Manny Diaz is going
- 54:53Speaker 3: to be looked at for that Penn State job for
- 54:54Speaker 3: some weird reason.
- 54:57Speaker 2: I'm not saying that he's gonna leave, but still he's
- 55:02Speaker 2: a head coach of Duke. Yeah, I forgot about that.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Yes, So anyway, I want to talk a little bit
- 55:06Speaker 3: about Virginia's schedule, and now I'm not trashing them, because
- 55:09Speaker 3: they beat the teams they should have except in C
- 55:11Speaker 3: State beats them, okay, and and it's at home. Yeah,
- 55:17Speaker 3: and then they barely beat Louisville and they beat Florida
- 55:22Speaker 3: State and what is it called overtime? Yes, and Washington
- 55:28Speaker 3: State only win by two you and c by one,
- 55:32Speaker 3: California by ten, lost away horrible scoring, but they beat
- 55:37Speaker 3: Duke thirty four to seventeen at Duke. So it's like,
- 55:39Speaker 3: what that just came out of nowhere? I've got the
- 55:43Speaker 3: upset here. I really think Duke pulls this off for
- 55:47Speaker 3: some weird reason, and because I don't think Virginia's very good,
- 55:50Speaker 3: and I'm gonna go Duke wins this and it's going
- 55:53Speaker 3: to be pure chaos because the ACC.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Is now out.
- 55:56Speaker 3: Hopefully it's not ACC refs calling this game. It should
- 56:00Speaker 3: be somebody else's conference. I'm gonna go Duke thirty one
- 56:05Speaker 3: twenty seven Virginia close one, but Virginia Virginia and big
- 56:11Speaker 3: in it. That's kicking essentially okay in the big game
- 56:14Speaker 3: of the week, and this is the biggest game of
- 56:16Speaker 3: the conference. It's one versus two essentially, been one versus
- 56:19Speaker 3: two all year. They're in the Big Ten. They don't
- 56:21Speaker 3: play each other in the Jackson running Back Indianapolis. In Indianapolis,
- 56:25Speaker 3: we got Indiana Ohio State, both twelve and zero, both
- 56:29Speaker 3: ranked one and two, both made the playoffs last year.
- 56:32Speaker 3: Ohio State's returning back to the playoffs after winning the
- 56:35Speaker 3: national championship.
- 56:36Speaker 2: Indiana new quarterback portal. Yes and Mendoza, I'm so Mendoza.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Mendoza say they're both going to be invited to the Heisman,
- 56:49Speaker 3: and they're.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Going to have to go together as a couple because
- 56:52Speaker 2: there's not that much ruined. That's right, So all right, Sean,
- 56:54Speaker 2: give me your pick first. Yes, seventeen thirteen Ohio State.
- 57:00Speaker 2: We're gonna see a really good matchup of defenses, and
- 57:06Speaker 2: they're gonna keep those power they're they're they're going to
- 57:09Speaker 2: keep the offenses under control. But advantage of Ohio State.
- 57:12Speaker 2: It's in a dome, so the weather's not an issue.
- 57:15Speaker 2: Whether it's not an issue.
- 57:16Speaker 3: Saying's a true freshman and Doz is not, or no,
- 57:19Speaker 3: he's not true freshman. He's young, it's his first year.
- 57:21Speaker 2: You remember the first time that Ohio State and Indiana
- 57:24Speaker 2: met and we're both undefeated, and Ohio State State took
- 57:27Speaker 2: him to tak Yeah, Ohio State just has so much
- 57:30Speaker 2: talent on every faceted. I think's team is better this year.
- 57:35Speaker 2: I think their defense is better this year. But I
- 57:38Speaker 2: just I can't go against Ohio State. I'm gonna go
- 57:41Speaker 2: thirty I know I'm gonna go thirty one twenty four.
- 57:44Speaker 2: I just think it's a very close game. No, I'm
- 57:47Speaker 2: gonna go thirty one. No, twenty one, thirty one twenty one. No,
- 57:53Speaker 2: hold on, change it thirty four, thirty four to twenty four.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Gentleman to be putting money on, Yes, thirty four twenty four. No.
- 58:01Speaker 3: I like Ohio State to cover, and I think most
- 58:05Speaker 3: of the favorites except I'm not going to Virginia because
- 58:08Speaker 3: I don't like the schedule they played.
- 58:09Speaker 2: But Tony Elliot's done a heck of a job.
- 58:11Speaker 3: If Tony Elliott gets in the playoff and wendsay acc
- 58:15Speaker 3: look for a potential matchup with Oklahoma, because that's two
- 58:19Speaker 3: former coordinators at Clemson during their heyday going against each other.
- 58:23Speaker 2: If the Notre Dame Oklahoma doesn't.
- 58:25Speaker 3: Match up, it's always possible because they're gonna look for
- 58:28Speaker 3: that stuff.
- 58:29Speaker 2: They just do absolutely all right. I think that's our
- 58:33Speaker 2: that's it finish for how poorly the season is going
- 58:38Speaker 2: for us and how much we are in love with ourselves. Now,
- 58:41Speaker 2: I love it all right, NFL.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Now, last week overall picks six and three for me,
- 58:49Speaker 3: five and four for you. Total this year, I'm seventy
- 58:54Speaker 3: five and six and yours.
- 59:01Speaker 2: It's my first week of losing anyway. Not no, but
- 59:06Speaker 2: I'm trying to look for something here. Oh well, you
- 59:08Speaker 2: women are playing right now, are they? Okay? They were?
- 59:13Speaker 2: The men had a really good win at Wake Forest
- 59:16Speaker 2: last Did they win really good?
- 59:18Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 59:18Speaker 2: That's right, they is and it was a it was
- 59:20Speaker 2: a pretty decisive win.
- 59:22Speaker 3: OSU basketball, OHU basketball, men's and women's, both men's and
- 59:26Speaker 3: women at o issue.
- 59:27Speaker 2: The kN Palm rankings come out. I think it's kin
- 59:30Speaker 2: Pom Texas. Okay, oh you oh you women are down
- 59:33Speaker 2: with one loss, but they're down. Oh god, that's over
- 59:36Speaker 2: now it's oh no, it's in. They do quarters. Okay, yeah,
- 59:39Speaker 2: they do quarters. The forty thirty eight currently in C
- 59:43Speaker 2: State versus number nine Oklahoma. I had not even looked
- 59:47Speaker 2: to see where Oklahoma was setting. I saw that Texas
- 59:50Speaker 2: had moved to number two. The Dallas Wings won the
- 59:52Speaker 2: lottery again, nobody just shut no. I mean, Dallas wins
- 59:56Speaker 2: the lottery all the time. They can't Dallas can't form
- 59:58Speaker 2: a team. They also somebody, nobody cares about your women's basketball.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: We're Sophie going care agent.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: I guarantee you more people pay attention to WNBA than
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: they do whatever weird football league you pay attention to and.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Europe. See, so that's why you're a racist. All right,
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: let's move on to the NF we talk about it.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: Yeah, let's do because huge games, huge, huge I loved
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: and we've talked about it on this podcast before.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Gentlemen, you just heard Kenny's balls drop Dallas.
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: And that trade you have made and your defense is
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: so much better, it's amazing. And we called the Fall
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: of the Chiefs a couple of years ago. If you
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: listen episodes one through whatever, the money was going to
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: get over and.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: As much as Patrick Mahomes restructures a contract. Patrick needs
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: to go and talk to the rest of the team
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: to start getting them to learn to restructure, and some
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: have I have kind of looked a little bit that bad.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Let's go to the.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: First Turkey Day game, green Bay Lions. I picked green
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: Bay to win. You know, I've got on the love
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: train you had.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Detroit.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: Detroit's got some problems. Detroit plays Dallas. We'll pick that
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: game in a minute. They played Dallas tomorrow.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Yeah, Detroit's uh starting center failed as physical too, so
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: he's not able to.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but he never played the first part of the year,
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: so that's not the problem. The problem is it's like
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: calling your head coach that's never been a big play caller.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: It's calling plays because he wants to be some bad
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: just get back, hire somebody. Oh he's going to fire him,
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: and he's going to hire somebody else to bring in.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: So and you know, I hear the floor is available.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: I heard Mike Tomlin might be available. So we'll get
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: to that our favorite. We'll talk about it when we
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: get there. Yeah.
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: No, I thought it was a big win eight and three,
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: that should put them and Chicago tiede Chicago's because they
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: got the tie of that tie, so Chicago's first.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Chicago's technically in the lead. Cowboys six five, and Chicago
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: is technically the best team in the NFC to the
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: one seed right now. Yep, they are the one seed
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: because with that win, with that win and the Rams lost, Oh,
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: isn't that ship?
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: So Cowboys, Cowboys beat the Chiefs, even when the Chiefs.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: They outdueled them. But you know, I thought that, I
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: mean to watch, and this is where I learned that
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: my mom was a Chiefs fan and not a Cowboys
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: fan like she used to be.
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: Oh, she's like, God, damn the Chiefs. But again, it
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: was close. It was a really good game. Both are
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: mid teens.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: She did the angry stuff like we do. Jesus fucking
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: left them. And then the night game.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: Biggest surprise I thought of all huge was you know,
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: Burrow comes back.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Joe Burrows were smoking. Joe, we get it. But thirty
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: two fourteen Ravens, you've got some problems too. They're gonna
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: have to be wait wait, wait, we knew the Ravens
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: had problems anyway, not that bad.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: A problem, I mean, And you look at Joe Burrow,
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: you know Zach Taylor's not going to be fired. Joe
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Burrow and him. They they run, They run a great offense.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Al Golden came from Notre Dame.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Noddam.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: He's the new defensive coordinator. It's not his problem either.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: They have no talent on defense. Draft better sign your name.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: You remember you remember when Cincinnati. All we bitched about
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: on Cincinnati was fix your O line fixture O line
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: fixture line.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: And they've tried, but they've kind of mismatched that a
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: little bit too. Though it's better. It's better, but their
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: secondary canebackers.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: For teams defense is gun this ship.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: Yes, their secondary line. But they played they help you
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: know them to fourteen points. But Lamar is not the same.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: He's hurt. I mean, they're just no Ravens. Team just
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: isn't the same as they were. I mean, they came
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: in with such high hopes. I think we had them winning.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, for sure, for sure Steelers. Now it looks
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: like any floozy who wants it can take it right
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: all right? Moving on, then we had the Friday game,
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: the Friday game of the Bears beating the Eagles. Yes,
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: I'll take that loss all day. Didn't expect that, but
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: I'm yeah, would you yeah for Hurts for sure? The Bears?
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: For me betting against the Bears like you do against
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: the Buccaneers. Well, I was right last week about the Bugs.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: But anyway, all right, Bill's killed the Steelers and that's
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: where we can talk about Mike Tomlan.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: Hey, Steelers, it's cool you've only had three coaches and
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: you finished the season with no winning record.
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: It's cool to say you've only had three coaches in
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: eight hundred years.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: You've been mid Chuck eight hundred years. Chuck Knox, Mike
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Tomlin and Tower Cower was good. Mike Tomlin not good.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: He's just very mid. He's mid. It's time to be time.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: When's the last.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: Playoff game they've won? Longevity don't mean shit if you
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: ain't winning.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Was the last time they made the playoffs? Last year?
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: I'm sure they did lost. You know, I was gonna
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: have our Steelers bystander on, but he had to work.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: So Chargers beat the Raiders.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: Raiders' biggest disappointment I think year, to be honest, forty
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: nine Ers beat the Browns. Jaguars easy win. Texans beat
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: the Colts. That's kind of an upset. Dolphins continue their win.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: I think they've won four to RoHS.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Houston's issue is is that they've come on late in
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: the season. Yeah, their defense is really good. Yes, the
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: defense is transitioned from just giving everything up to correct
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: starting to take it away. Can the Falcons suck except
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: for fantasy but for division wise? They that's good for
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: Tampa and then they've fallen apart. That's another team that
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: I think could have done well. And whereas Carolina has
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: stepped up into that second place. Yes, they've been.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: Atlanta has just and they beat and they beat everyone's
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: pre or season in Super Bowl. I mean, you would
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: have thought the Rams had already won it, and then
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: the Panthers go over and just beat them.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: I can't tell you what's going on Atlanta. Oh I can,
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: I said Marine Marino.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: No, what's what is his name? Morris Raheem Morris Morris
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: is a horrible, horrible head coach.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: I'm sorry. He was Tampa's head coach and they blamed
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: it being too young. He goes to Rams and then.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, no, it's it's just fire themall. It's it's
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: that's a clean house deal. You need to get an
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: offensive coach.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: That's what I mean. Look what but look what Dan's
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: doing in year two? Not real good. I don't know.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: That's a lot of injuries there though. Daniels McLaurin got
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: my guy said.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: With the Falcons offense too, you're having to turn back
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: to Cousins. Well no, yeah, it was just a horrible
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: receivers and your quarterbacks out. Yeah, but their defense is
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: trash and he's that's the the Falcons. Yes, isn't isn't
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Bowman like one of the top one guy? Maybe, But
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: the Jets put twenty seven on them, and then the
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: Buccaneers barely pull one out of their ass against.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: We're getting right there, stride hell, just hitting the strip,
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: getting healthy. All right.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: I could tell when you're healthy whenever I see all
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: of the ir guys start getting picked up. Let's get
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: to the picks. We'll pick tomorrow's night. Tomorrow's night. Well,
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: you didn't say anything about the Seahawks, blank and the Vikings.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Vikings are trash. The Broncos in an ot win against
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: the Commanders. Yeah, and it was my TV just happened
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: to go out when they went for two? Did it? Yes?
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: I was like, And then the greatest kick of all time.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: I tell you, I swear to God. The young ho
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: young hoe looked down at his holder. When you see that,
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: and the holders still trying to adjust the he looked
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: down right as he went to kick and just shoved
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: his foot in the dirt.
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: Hey, the golf memes were the best My iron shot
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: right after my best drive all time. It's so true.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Right in that ground you get dirt going farther than
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: your ball. That was perfec for sure, for sure.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: Al R. Let's get to our picks. We're gonna pick
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Tomorrow's night, Tomorrow Night's game. I said it again, Tomorrow's Night,
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Prime Time team. Welcome to Tomorrow's night. Detroit by three
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: over unders fifty four. That's probably always rne by three
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: twenty one, oh no, twenty four to twenty. You like
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: the Cowboys, Dude taking the Cowboys. Let's see if they
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: can hold up thirty one twenty seven. I also like
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: the Cowboys. Unless Jamia Gibbs has a oh he can't.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: He can do all he needs to do this week. I'm
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: just glady Blue. Last page Mayor's Packers. I'm taking packers,
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: of course. You are thirty four to to Tenore now
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: Sean is a closet He's not a closet Bears fan,
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: but he's a closet fan that doesn't realize his team.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: A lot of things are the class kind of good.
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: I like the Packers in this one too. I think
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: the Packers on our old twenty seven twenty four?
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: How bad is it when DeAndre Swift is your He
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: had a good he had a really good game. I'm
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: just saying in the whole Tina left him on the
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: way too long. So who did the Packer? Who the
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Packer's running back? Josh Jacobs? What's that guya doing? Nothing? Yeah?
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Exactly all right, Steelers Ravens. The only reason we played.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: We picked this one is because it's a good rivalry.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you right now. Side one of the
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: Eagles Chargers now now Philly three point.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: The rumor has it that he ain't playing so Herbert
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: so he broke something in his bone. Now they say
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: he didn't practice. David, he'd beat That's what I hear
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: be ready by Monday, and he probably will. I've got
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: till Sunday to Philadelphia.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Did they lose last week? Remind me?
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Yeah, they lost the Bears. They generally come back and win.
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: So I didn't like that game at all.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Well, hold on with the Buccaneers. I've got Baker Mayfield
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: and his stupid shoulder non throw. He still couldn't finish
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: the game. For me, We're getting We're getting them bad,
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: getting the finish the game. Did you find that game yet?
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: I know exactly where it was. I both six and
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: six Juggernauts Baltimore's six point favorites over unders forty two.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: I'd take the under. It's gonna be like thirteen ten.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: So what's your score? Baltimore ten, Pittsburgh five.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: I've got I've got Pittsburgh sneaking out of seventeen thirteen,
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: ten to five. It's at home at the Ravens, but
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: the weather looks good. I think I think Aaron Rodgers
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: he's due. But hey, one thing you need to consider.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Oh you sure they're not gonna fucking set Mason Rudolf.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: Now, one thing I want to talk about is is
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: back to Dallas. You know, Jerry gets a lot of
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: grief and it's been very quiet. It's been very quiet.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: But the Micah Parsons trade, like we said, was good
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: for Dallas. They've got first round picks. Two next year,
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: and then they got Quinn Williams from the Jets quietly
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: though that Pickens pickup has been huge. Now can they
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: sign them? I don't know, but George Pickens has been
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: huge for them because George Pickens.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: If George Pickens were smart, he would take a nice contract,
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: a nice, big, very structured contract, very well structured contract,
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: as I should say, and not oh, I'm gonna hit
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: you for thirty eight million in dead money for five years,
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: cap space all that, you know what I mean. He's
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: gonna be like, hey, let's go ahead, and well, why
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: they do that? Make it adjusted? But that's that's what
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: I'm saying. Say, hey, let's take all this money, money money,
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: Let's take all this money in the signing bonus, because
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: that doesn't hit, does it. No, No, it's just part
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: of the con. Take all this money and the signing bonus.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: We're not gonna do a huge guarantee and.
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: Sean, if they all done that world would be a
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: better place. But they don't. College coaching greed. Why don't
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: you say, hey, I'm gonna pay you. What's the highest coach?
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: What's Lane making now? Thirteen eighty million? Nobody's making thirteen
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: million a year. I would say, I'll pay you sixteen
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: million a year, but I'm signing you for three years.
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: You do good in three years, I'll pay eighteen million
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: for two.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know where they're getting money from. Ah,
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: it's ridiculous. They're just Sprint TV State of Louisiana. Hey,
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: we did.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: We couldn't find it, but pull up the governor of
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: uh yeah, no, pull up the governor of Louisiana.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: And so he made this cute little statement of not doing.
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: These contracts again after Brian Kelly was fired.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: And we're not gonna do.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: This because all these coaches are state employees and Bob
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: Stoops preventables. All those guys are state employees because they're
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: state schools. Private, they're not he was a state employee. Promise,
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: they're all state employees anyway. No, but you damn well
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: to make sure that Luisiana.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: Well, Governor of Louisiana, Yes, hold on comments contract. Speat
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: Sean is not having good days typing after Brian Kelly.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: So this guy comes out and says, we're not gonna
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: do that. Hey, you know who's available, Brian Kelly, Jim Kelly. Yes,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: how about Mike Gundy, Bill Kellys are available. Oh my god,
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: I'm just putting Gundy. No, but the guys like, we're
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: not gonna have one of those, he.
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: Said, State, stating that the state's taxpayers would only have
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: to pay the multimand by if the private donors didn't,
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: and the next contrast contract must include He also declared metrics.
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: He also declared Scott Wooder would be select the next coach,
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: which he didn't because they fired him. Uh and so
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: the next contract, yeah, performance.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: State would not reward failure. Again, didn't we talk about
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: this that it took them so long to just even
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: fire Kelly because Kelly's like, I want to go get
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: a job. Yeah, the wait, I know they wanted to
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: do four calls and to not pay him the money. Well,
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: I know they were trying to. They were looking for
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: a reason even though there was no reason. And he
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: didn't do like oarseron or Lane miles less miles and
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: go out and start like banging teenagers and bars, which
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: which coach won and uh, less miles and less miles.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Well Lane too was Misissippi. Oh it was yes, Oh yeah,
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: it's like an urban money allegedly, that's just what we're
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: gonna it's like remember when Erban Myer went back to
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: just visited Ohio State grinding that girl. Girls, just grinding
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: on him in the bars here, hanging out with some briends. Sorry, honey,
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Well that's the thing social media. That's what I'm gonna say.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: I feel bad because you can't.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: I don't feel bad, No, but you can't be a
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: dude sometimes without being seen.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: So that's where it goes. You can you can shed
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: our our and fourteenth. Hey, hey, thanks for joining us.
