Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to empower your soul.
• 0:04
Speaker 1: It is I, nicole, and I wanted to talk about soul contracts today and I this was such a great question coming from Amy over on Instagram.
• 0:14
Speaker 1: Hey, amy, and she really like asked a really good question about soul path, soul contracts Can they be broken?
• 0:21
Speaker 1: Can we fix them again?
• 0:22
Speaker 1: Can we ever truly be off our path?
• 0:24
Speaker 1: And I think this is such a great question that I'm going to probably take this whole episode to talk about it, because soul contracts are such an interesting concept and what has happened in the last week that I've been mulling over this question.
• 0:38
Speaker 1: This topic is I've just like always when I get these questions and I sit on them for a little while, spirit always finds ways to bring in new answers, new perspectives for me, because if I answered this question a week ago when I received this question, I would have answered in one way, and now, over the course of the week, I have had a reading where I did for somebody that talked about soul contracts, and now I have a kind of a different perspective on that.
• 1:03
Speaker 1: So I'm really happy for this delay in my answering.
• 1:07
Speaker 1: I promise it's not always on purpose that I'm lazy.
• 1:11
Speaker 1: It's school vacation week with the kids.
• 1:13
Speaker 1: Right now my mind is everywhere at once everybody.
• 1:18
Speaker 1: So I apologize in advance if this goes in like six different directions and I'm gonna have to reel myself in, but I do think it's important to talk about soul contracts.
• 1:26
Speaker 1: So here's it's a very complicated subject, so let me talk a little bit about where at least where where do I get this information from, because I think it's really good to base this information.
• 1:38
Speaker 1: So I get soul contract information based on, obviously, my readings and what I read in terms of my evidential mediumship readings definitely the Akashic Records readings, and I've also read a couple of amazing books on kind of soul contracts, one of them being, again, the Journey of Souls.
• 1:57
Speaker 1: If you haven't read the Journey of Souls by I can't remember his first name but Newton it's.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: It's the most ridiculous book ever it.
• 2:03
Speaker 1: That book talks about I.
• 2:04
Speaker 1: I have never read a book.
• 2:04
Speaker 1: Most ridiculous book ever it.
• 2:05
Speaker 1: That book talks about I.
• 2:06
Speaker 1: I have never read a book faster than I've read that book and it's so interesting.
• 2:10
Speaker 1: But it talks about what?
• 2:12
Speaker 1: What you're the journey of your soul is from when you die to go into your next reincarnation.
• 2:16
Speaker 1: So, um, and his is again hypnosis and he does right, it's all.
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: He's a like he's got a PhD, so it's a really, really interesting book.
• 2:26
Speaker 1: 10 out of 10 recommend that book.
• 2:28
Speaker 1: But so that's where all of this information comes from.
• 2:31
Speaker 1: For me is from, you know, books or books that I've read, my readings and I think it's really important to to understand soul contracts, just because in just be informed on them, because a lot of the, a lot of the time, people don't understand why these horrible things have happened to them or happened to people around them, and it typically comes down to, I'm going to say, like a soul contract perspective, and I know this is a very complex topic.
• 3:00
Speaker 1: I'm going to try to break this down as simply as I can here.
• 3:02
Speaker 1: But essentially we enter All right, so let's, I'm going to do it from this down as simply as I can here.
• 3:05
Speaker 1: But essentially we enter All right, so let's, I'm going to do it from the perspective as a journey for souls.
• 3:10
Speaker 1: I'm going to talk about what happens when we die and how we kind of establish our soul contracts as we move into our next lifetime and what that can look like.
• 3:19
Speaker 1: So soul contracts essentially are the lessons in my perspective.
• 3:23
Speaker 1: They are the lessons that we are here to learn as souls.
• 3:24
Speaker 1: So a lot of people will talk about soul contracts.
• 3:25
Speaker 1: Essentially are the lessons.
• 3:25
Speaker 1: In my perspective, they are the lessons that we are here to learn as souls.
• 3:26
Speaker 1: So a lot of people will talk about soul contracts in terms of people or relationships, and I think that is true.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: But ultimately I always take soul contracts and boil it down to we have something we want to learn, so.
• 3:37
Speaker 1: So we need to kind of create this agreement that that this is what's going to happen so we can learn this lesson.
• 3:45
Speaker 1: So, essentially, when we pass, we go through the tunnel or whatever, right, and then we go through our life review and we essentially review our lives from the perspective of not only ourselves but everybody around us who has interacted with us.
• 3:58
Speaker 1: So it's like we are standing in the shoes of the people that are around us experiencing were we good people?
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: Were we assholes?
• 4:05
Speaker 1: Like, what did we do to hurt people?
• 4:06
Speaker 1: What did we do to help people?
• 4:08
Speaker 1: And especially from your guides perspective, from after you kind of see those different perspectives, you'll kind of go to I'm just going to say a counsel, for lack of a better word but you'll go to a review of your life from your guides perspective and from I don't even know I don't a council's perspective, and it's just like it's performance review time.
• 4:30
Speaker 1: Everybody, we have a life performance review.
• 4:35
Speaker 1: Not looking forward to that one, do you know how many times a day I'm like please don't include this in my life review.
• 4:41
Speaker 1: I don't want to see those again.
• 4:42
Speaker 1: Literally me to my guides 24, seven, guaranteed.
• 4:44
Speaker 1: Every single moment of that will this in my life review?
• 4:45
Speaker 1: I don't want to see those again.
• 4:45
Speaker 1: That's literally me to my guides 24, seven, guaranteed every single moment of that will be in my life review.
• 4:49
Speaker 1: So, essentially, you review your life again versus what did you hope to accomplish, versus what did you actually accomplish, and then you end up with this list of Okay, so I accomplished all these things, but I didn't accomplish these things.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: Or okay, so I've mastered this lesson.
• 5:05
Speaker 1: I'd like to learn the next lesson.
• 5:07
Speaker 1: So, at the time that we pass and we go through this life review and we go through this counsel review, we essentially create a list of things that we'd like to learn the next lifetime.
• 5:14
Speaker 1: And I'm going to talk about this in terms of past life and future life and current life, right, but I just want you to know this is all parallel.
• 5:22
Speaker 1: There is no time in the spirit world.
• 5:23
Speaker 1: So I'm not even going to break my own brain over that thought today, because I'm barely holding it together.
• 5:28
Speaker 1: I need like four more cups of coffee.
• 5:30
Speaker 1: So, as we go through this list and define this list of what else do we want to learn, what do we want to learn next lifetime?
• 5:38
Speaker 1: We can go through this period in the spirit world where we're actually learning, because there are schools, there are things that we can learn and do in the spirit world to learn some of these lessons.
• 5:47
Speaker 1: But ain't nothing like the hard knock life of earth to really make these lessons happen faster and more impactful?
• 5:54
Speaker 1: So, as we start choosing, I'm going to say, our next life when we're in the spirit world, we will go through that list of things that we want to accomplish, all these things that we want to learn, and we will go and essentially like pick a life for us to get these goals accomplished, to learn these things, to, to be in this lesson.
• 6:16
Speaker 1: And a good example is and I've said it a couple times on the podcast, but I'm gonna, I'm gonna take like a nice easy perspective, right?
• 6:24
Speaker 1: So maybe you want to, you know, be in a really rich family, right, you want to.
• 6:33
Speaker 1: You want to learn what it's like to have to not struggle at all.
• 6:37
Speaker 1: So you choose a life where you're just like trying to make it on planet Earth and you're like okay, so my, my lesson this life is I want to live an easy life.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: I want to be able to choose what paths I want to take.
• 6:50
Speaker 1: I want to be able to like donate money to the poor and I want to do these things right.
• 6:55
Speaker 1: In your next life you might go through that life maybe do all your life lessons, check those off the list because it was an easier life.
• 7:00
Speaker 1: And then your next lifetime you might say, okay, cool, now I want to be the poor one.
• 7:05
Speaker 1: I want to know what it's like to have to try to do everything for money and survive off of nothing.
• 7:09
Speaker 1: So it's just you choose life circumstances.
• 7:13
Speaker 1: That essentially again promotes the growth of your soul and make sure I'm going to say like a well-rounded soul and be able to see things from every perspective.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: So, as you go through and select your next life, you're going to take those goals and you're going to say what's the best life for me to learn these goals, to accomplish these items that I want to accomplish and those items to me are your soul contract.
• 7:33
Speaker 1: So I want to be, and those items to me are your soul contract.
• 7:35
Speaker 1: So I want to be poor in my next life.
• 7:36
Speaker 1: I want to not be very smart.
• 7:40
Speaker 1: I want to be horrible in school, right?
• 7:42
Speaker 1: I want to get divorced because I need to learn the lesson of pulling myself up by my bootstraps and no one's going to take care of me, right?
• 7:49
Speaker 1: So so this is kind of what I think of with soul contracts, and that's why I think it comes back to people quite a bit is because when you choose these life contracts, you can't do it in a bubble.
• 8:00
Speaker 1: You can't do a lot of these soul contracts by yourself.
• 8:04
Speaker 1: You have to sign up for a family or circumstances around you that are going to support your ability to go through these life contracts.
• 8:12
Speaker 1: So you're going to have soul contracts with people to say I'm going to kill my dog.
• 8:18
Speaker 1: Sorry, I've learned that you can hear him on this podcast, so apologies, you hear him constantly barking in the background.
• 8:25
Speaker 1: This is what we get by getting a COVID dog.
• 8:30
  Speaker 1: Where was I?
• 8:31
Speaker 1: So you go through and you create these relationships with people so that you can accomplish these soul goals.
• 8:37
Speaker 1: So I would choose a family and we would enter a contract that we're all going to go in and we're going to be poor together.
• 8:43
Speaker 1: I would choose a spouse that I know is going to end up hating me and divorcing me and I have that contract with that person, right?
• 8:50
Speaker 1: I'm going to choose kids that maybe decide that they don't want anything to do with me either because I'm a horrible person, and we enter a soul contract that way.
• 8:57
Speaker 1: So all of these things kind of come together and create these soul contracts so that you can accomplish what you want to in this life.
• 9:06
Speaker 1: So when people talk about relationships, yes, but that's kind of part of the story, because the relationships allow you to achieve your soul contract.
• 9:16
Speaker 1: But likewise, you know with my spouse, I have a soul contract with him, for example, that I'm going to be horrible to him and that he's going to have to choose to divorce me or put up with me, right?
• 9:27
Speaker 1: So, like it's not, it goes both ways.
• 9:29
Speaker 1: The soul contract you make with people goes both ways.
• 9:32
Speaker 1: So there is a lesson in every single soul contract, from both sides of the spectrum, the positive and the negative, and I don't think that all these soul contracts are written in stone.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: Either I think of them as moments where your soul gets to choose to either progress and learn and go to that next level, or your soul chooses to revert back to the same old ways, stay in the status quo and not learn anything.
• 9:59
Speaker 1: And I think that's part of our journey here is like are you going to take that challenge and take that lesson and agree to it, or are you going to back up and still not learn that lesson and have to do that again next lifetime?
• 10:10
Speaker 1: So those are the things that I think about when I'm talking about soul contracts there.
• 10:15
Speaker 1: So, again, before you incarnate, you're going through and you're essentially planning your life in all of these contracts, and what do you want to learn and what are the people around you that are choosing to work with you want to learn, and it's like it's not easy.
• 10:30
Speaker 1: It's this very complex thing about these soul contracts that, again, are meant to just help evolve and grow your soul.
• 10:39
Speaker 1: And I think it's important to to maybe talk about karma a little bit here, because I'm gonna be totally honest with you I don't know where I stand with karma.
• 10:47
Speaker 1: I do think that it comes around, but do I even want to go here.
• 10:56
Speaker 1: I get let me.
• 10:57
Speaker 1: Let me go here for 10 seconds, then I'm going to skip to the next one, because I think there are contracts that you have to make to balance out the negative.
• 11:05
Speaker 1: Like with every positive there's a negative, with every negative there's a positive.
• 11:08
Speaker 1: So I think there, I think to me, that's my idea of karma.
• 11:11
Speaker 1: I'm going to save that for probably a future podcast where I know more about karma and I've I've done a little more research or spiritual learning from it.
• 11:18
Speaker 1: But again, I think it's just learn specific lessons.
• 11:21
Speaker 1: So that to me, is kind of the that's.
• 11:28
Speaker 1: I mean the 411 or the download for me for soul contracts.
• 11:31
Speaker 1: So some, some good, some good ways to identify maybe what are some soul contracts in your life that you have going on.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: I don't know why I have to say this, but yes, I Okay, yes, I think you choose your life.
• 11:47
Speaker 1: I do, and I'm the worst person in the world because I say it all the time to people.
• 11:51
Speaker 1: I do think that you choose your life.
• 11:53
Speaker 1: I do think when you go through the Rolodex of potential lives you can have and the lessons you want to learn, you choose this life to learn specific lessons.
• 12:01
Speaker 1: So if you have had a very difficult childhood, a very difficult difficult relationships, very difficult circumstances around you, I am the worst person in the world to go to and ask for like sorrow or ask for like empathy for because I'm like you chose it.
• 12:19
Speaker 1: So let's talk about, let's figure out why you chose it, let's figure that out.
• 12:24
Speaker 1: But at the same time, when I say that I don't think you actively choose certain things and this is what changed in the last week for me, because I had an extremely lovely client, adore, her I'm going to keep this anonymous, but I am going to give the circumstances around it.
• 12:44
Speaker 1: So she is a young mother of several children and her husband had died last year, right after she moved locations to a new house, new place in a I don't even know where she is, a new location where she's not surrounded by family, she's not surrounded by friends, and literally, I think a month or two after she moved with all of these young kids, her spouse had died, her husband had died and in that reading with that departed husband, he came through and said no one would choose this, no one would choose this, and it felt so real in my bones, Like you know how you can feel something all the way down to your bones.
• 13:30
Speaker 1: That's exactly what it felt like while I was saying this.
• 13:32
Speaker 1: No one would choose this, and I knew that to be true.
• 13:35
Speaker 1: So I want to kind of talk about that for a minute too, because this is what has changed over the past week or so this idea that you wouldn't choose certain things.
• 13:44
Speaker 1: Because I don't think she chose to have her husband die, but I do think she chose some sort of resilient path where that kind of did happen, and it's not like she she purposely would choose to lose her spouse, but that might have been the package deal so that she could learn her lesson.
• 14:03
Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
• 14:04
Speaker 1: Because I don't want to sound like an insensitive asshole, because I understand we go through shit here.
• 14:11
Speaker 1: Like this is a horrible place to learn Right.
• 14:13
Speaker 1: Like like spouses die, parents die, children die Right.
• 14:14
Speaker 1: Like this is a horrible place to learn right.
• 14:15
Speaker 1: Like spouses die, parents die, children die right.
• 14:17
Speaker 1: Like we get diseases, we get limbs amputated.
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 14:22
Speaker 1: Like this is not.
• 14:24
Speaker 1: This is the world of pain and suffering in its most extreme.
• 14:28
Speaker 1: So it sounds so insensitive to say that we would choose this.
• 14:32
Speaker 1: But there has to be a reason and I think this is like my, maybe this is my coping mechanism, maybe this is what allows me to sleep at night when I talk to all these, all these dead people and their horrible stories of of leaving family behind and and I mean I don't, I don't read the nicest of soul.
• 14:49
Speaker 1: I mean I read a lot of lovely souls, I don't read the nicest of soul.
• 14:52
Speaker 1: I mean I read a lot of lovely souls but they're not all lovely stories.
• 14:56
Speaker 1: You know, I read trauma and abuse and suicides, right Like so.
• 15:00
Speaker 1: It's tough, and maybe this is me and maybe this is my coping mechanism, that everything's okay because your soul chose this.
• 15:10
Speaker 1: And maybe this is my flaw and I'm okay with that being my flaw, because I think I'm going to have to do something to cope with some of the stuff that I read every single day.
• 15:18
Speaker 1: And I love it, don't get me wrong.
• 15:20
Speaker 1: I love it because I think what I do is immensely healing for people, but also, at the same time, I don't think that we actively choose it.
• 15:29
Speaker 1: I think that we might inactively choose it.
• 15:34
Speaker 1: We might say I know that I need to learn the lesson of maybe this is where karma comes in.
• 15:40
Speaker 1: I need to learn the lesson of raising children as a single mother and not having a community around me and learning how strong I am.
• 15:49
Speaker 1: But you're not going to learn that if you're born to rich parents and you're surrounded by them and you don't have to want for anything.
• 15:57
Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
• 15:58
Speaker 1: So I think there is this level of you choose the lesson, but you might not always choose the circumstances of that willingly.
• 16:07
Speaker 1: I'm going to say it that way.
• 16:08
Speaker 1: I think you make it consciously, but I don't think you choose that for shits and giggles.
• 16:13
Speaker 1: I think you choose that because you have to, because that's the path you have to take to learn some of these very difficult lessons.
• 16:21
Speaker 1: Earth School is such a bitch, it's the worst.
• 16:24
Speaker 1: Why are we here?
• 16:25
Speaker 1: Can we all just collectively agree not to fucking come back here, please?
• 16:29
Speaker 1: Let's like I'm going to see all of you on the rainbow planet, like if Asgard is a place, I'm going to see you there Because I'm going to go live with Thor and Freya and Odin and definitely Loki.
• 16:42
Speaker 1: I love Loki, but this is.
• 16:44
Speaker 1: Am I an asshole yet?
• 16:48
Speaker 1: Did you block me yet?
• 16:49
Speaker 1: Sorry, but I'm just.
• 16:51
Speaker 1: I just want to be honest with what I see.
• 16:55
Speaker 1: I just want to be honest with what I see and my own flaws, of probably needing some sort of coping mechanism to make sense of the horror I see every day.
• 17:08
Speaker 1: And maybe this is maybe where I want to go in terms of free will and soul contracts as milestones in lives, because I truly think of soul contracts as milestones that we agree to in life.
• 17:21
Speaker 1: So I truly think personally with me.
• 17:24
Speaker 1: I think that I chose my parents and I love them, but it was not easy I'm going to put it that way, right.
• 17:32
Speaker 1: And I had to learn how to be independent and use my own voice as the black sheep of the family, and I'm okay with that right.
• 17:36
Speaker 1: And I had to learn how to be independent and use my own voice as the black sheep of the family, and I'm okay with that right.
• 17:39
Speaker 1: I was the first one in my family to believe in something external to the Catholic Church.
• 17:44
Speaker 1: Right, both sides, my husband's side, my side.
• 17:47
Speaker 1: I can tell you without a doubt, I knew my husband.
• 17:50
Speaker 1: As soon as I met him, I knew I was going to marry him and I was 15, everybody, I was 15.
• 18:02
Speaker 1: I saw him and I was like that's my husband, that's who I'm going to marry and I've been married to him for a long time now, I knew I would have kids, like and as soon as I may, as soon as I decided that.
• 18:11
Speaker 1: It took me a long time, because if you asked me in my 20s, I didn't know.
• 18:15
  Speaker 1: I wanted kids.
• 18:15
Speaker 1: And then, all of a sudden, I was like we're having them.
• 18:17
Speaker 1: And then, as soon as I made that decision, boom, there was my son.
• 18:20
Speaker 1: And then, right after I had my son, boom, there was my daughter, right, like.
• 18:23
Speaker 1: So it's just so interesting to me because I feel like these are my sole contracts.
• 18:29
Speaker 1: I was meant to meet and marry my husband.
• 18:31
Speaker 1: I was meant to have my kids, right.
• 18:33
Speaker 1: I was meant to choose my siblings, my parents.
• 18:36
Speaker 1: For some reason, I was meant to go down this corporate path until my son right, because if I didn't have my son, I wouldn't know, spirit was here and I wouldn't change my job from corporate to mediumship, right.
• 18:50
Speaker 1: So I think these things, to me, are the sole contracts.
• 18:53
Speaker 1: These are the milestones that I agreed to before I came here.
• 18:57
Speaker 1: That being said, I think between those milestones is where the free will happens, right?
• 19:02
Speaker 1: I think that they didn't necessarily care what type of job I had, where I worked, you know what I did, right.
• 19:10
Speaker 1: I don't think they necessarily care what food I eat and how I treat my body, right.
• 19:16
Speaker 1: So I think there's free will within these soul contracts, but I think of the soul contracts as these milestone things, and then we kind of get to pick and choose between there.
• 19:25
Speaker 1: But nothing that we're going to choose is going to, I think, alter our major life contracts, our soul contracts.
• 19:30
Speaker 1: And I think the reason I say that is because I've just seen too many damn coincidences to think that we don't see the future and that we don't know what's going to happen, which is so interesting, and that's a whole other episode, I'm sure.
• 19:43
Speaker 1: But yes, I think there's free will, but I think it's free will within a box where our soul contracts are the box.
• 19:54
Speaker 1: That that's within our free will.
• 19:56
Speaker 1: But I think when we get to those soul contract moments, like I said, we have the free will to choose it or not choose it, but we have to get there in order for our soul to kind of move on.
• 20:05
Speaker 1: And I'm going to be probably going back and restating this entire episode at some point because, again, all of this stuff is subject to what I know, what I feel right now, but that's that's where I think it's true right now.
• 20:19
Speaker 1: Is there anything else I want to talk about?
• 20:20
Speaker 1: So I guess you know.
• 20:23
Speaker 1: Maybe to close, or maybe to kind of make sure I'm answering your questions, amy, let me bring that list back up.
• 20:28
Speaker 1: Can they be broken?
• 20:34
Speaker 1: Can we fix them?
• 20:37
Speaker 1: Can we ever be off our path?
• 20:38
Speaker 1: So I don't think we ever truly can be off our path.
• 20:41
Speaker 1: I think that when we are truly off our path, our guides will just totally fuck with everything in our life to make sure we get back on path.
• 20:53
Speaker 1: So I I'm going to say yes, I think so, but I think you'll start seeing the signs of you needing to get on your path, because when I feel like when you're on your path, things just flow.
• 21:02
Speaker 1: It doesn't mean it's easy, but things, things don't break as much.
• 21:11
Speaker 1: I'm just looking at your other two questions, amy.
• 21:13
Speaker 1: Can they be broken?
• 21:14
Speaker 1: Can we fix them again?
• 21:15
Speaker 1: Yes and yes is what I'm hearing in my head.
• 21:24
Speaker 1: Yes, soul contracts can be broken, but once you break them, you make that conscious decision to break them.
• 21:30
Speaker 1: So I don't know if you can fix it after that, right, I think you can go off your path and you can choose again, and I think that happens all the time.
• 21:34
Speaker 1: But again, soul contracts are so complicated, I don't know.
• 21:39
Speaker 1: I don't know the answers to these.
• 21:40
Speaker 1: Amy, again, I think soul contracts are milestones where we can choose it or we can not choose it.
• 21:46
Speaker 1: So I guess, in that way, if you've got to a milestone and you can't choose it, I don't think you can undo it, or maybe you have to actively work doubly hard to get back to that choice of choosing again.
• 21:55
Speaker 1: I don't think anything's ever set in stone.
• 21:58
Speaker 1: So I guess, I guess, yeah, I don't see why you couldn't go back and try to refix it.
• 22:02
Speaker 1: If you decide that you want to get divorced from the spouse you're supposed to be with your whole life, can you go back to them and change and become a different person to try to win them back?
• 22:11
Speaker 1: Sure, but then again that involves the free will of somebody else, right?
• 22:16
  Speaker 1: So I don't know.
• 22:17
  Speaker 1: It's a.
• 22:17
  Speaker 1: It's a really good question.
• 22:19
Speaker 1: I'm sure you're all walking away learning nothing from this episode.
• 22:23
Speaker 1: So I guess the one thing I want to leave with all of you is, if you want to know what your soul contracts are, I'm going to challenge you to maybe journal or think about.
• 22:35
Speaker 1: Where do you know?
• 22:36
Speaker 1: You made a decision that you had to make in life, like, where did you know?
• 22:42
  Speaker 1: This is it?
• 22:43
Speaker 1: And this is again like I knew this house I'm sitting in right now.
• 22:50
Speaker 1: This was my house.
• 22:52
Speaker 1: It was the last house I saw on a day where I think I went to 12 open houses and it was like five o'clock in the afternoon and I stepped in this house and I'm like this is my house and it was way over budget, way over budget.
• 23:07
Speaker 1: Um, but you know what happened when, when I went to go purchase this house Um, I think it was about 50 grand over what?
• 23:15
Speaker 1: And, by the way, like I bought this house six months out of college, I was very poor, but I refused to subsidize someone else's rent and equity.
• 23:24
Speaker 1: I was like, no, I'm not, I'm not renting, I'm buying a house and I'm going to earn equity and that's what I'm going to do, because I'm a stubborn mule who went to business school.
• 23:32
Speaker 1: So when I ended up, when I, when we went to see this house, my husband's like we can't afford it.
• 23:37
Speaker 1: I was like this is our house.
• 23:38
Speaker 1: Like this is this, is it.
• 23:40
Speaker 1: So we lowballed them.
• 23:42
Speaker 1: I did so much research on this house.
• 23:44
Speaker 1: I found out it had been on the market for an entire year.
• 23:47
Speaker 1: Nobody looked at it.
• 23:49
Speaker 1: By the way, we bought it in December.
• 23:51
Speaker 1: So anyone knows the housing market.
• 23:53
Speaker 1: Like houses don't sell in December, they just don't.
• 23:56
Speaker 1: So so it had been on the market for a year.
• 23:59
Speaker 1: We went 60, 70 grand below the asking price and they, they played with us.
• 24:05
Speaker 1: We played ball back and forth and we ended up at the 50 grand below, like it was where, where?
• 24:12
Speaker 1: Uh, I think it was.
• 24:13
Speaker 1: Yeah, it was 50 grand below the asking prices, where we ended up Because this is our house.
• 24:22
Speaker 1: So this is what I mean about, like, the milestones, about the soul contracts.
• 24:24
Speaker 1: Like like did you just know something?
• 24:24
Speaker 1: And you're like I know that this is completely unattainable and on paper we can't pay for this, but there's where, there's a will, there's a way, and it just kind of happened and magic happened, and that's how I knew that this was our house happened and that's how I knew that this was our house.
• 24:37
Speaker 1: So I'm going to challenge you to think about things maybe that way Like, where did you just know things?
• 24:39
Speaker 1: Where did you just like?
• 24:40
Speaker 1: No, like I knew that was my spouse, I knew I was going to have kids.
• 24:43
Speaker 1: I knew there was going to be two kids.
• 24:44
Speaker 1: So where did you know those are your sole contracts, right?
• 24:48
Speaker 1: And even the uncomfortable stuff, to where?
• 24:51
Speaker 1: Where does maybe it feel uncomfortable, but you still know like.
• 24:55
Speaker 1: You still know, like, like, what's a good example?
• 25:00
Speaker 1: It felt uncomfortable, but you still know.
• 25:05
Speaker 1: I think I'm just going to leave that with you, cause I'm trying to think of an example and none's coming to mind, so I'm not going to push it.
• 25:09
Speaker 1: But you know, good and bad.
• 25:11
Speaker 1: Good and bad, like soul contracts can be a positive thing or it could be a negative thing, but I want you to know there's positive, that comes from it.
• 25:18
Speaker 1: If you are willing to work through it, grow through it, push through it, because that's where your soul learns.
• 25:23
Speaker 1: Your soul learns from pushing through it, right from, from saying yes and moving through it.
• 25:29
Speaker 1: Because I'll tell you what um, I love my husband, love him to death.
• 25:34
Speaker 1: But he's like ADHD, ocd, right, like he's.
• 25:37
Speaker 1: He makes me pull my hair out sometimes.
• 25:39
Speaker 1: It is not just because I married him many, many, many, many years ago does not mean like it's the perfect marriage and I don't want to pull my hair out all the time.
• 25:47
Speaker 1: Right, like my kids, I'm telling you, I have been, I've been home with them for over a week now because it's February vacation week up here in Massachusetts and I want to kill them.
• 25:56
  Speaker 1: I love them.
• 25:58
Speaker 1: I just want them to go back to school, please go.
• 26:02
Speaker 1: Again doesn't mean it's an easy path.
• 26:04
Speaker 1: Even if getting to your sole contract was easy, it doesn't mean it's easy.
• 26:08
Speaker 1: Right, there's still growth.
• 26:10
  Speaker 1: There's still.
• 26:11
Speaker 1: There's still things you need to do, to push through, to learn, to do all these amazing things.
• 26:15
Speaker 1: But at the same time, this is, you know, it's just, that's your path.
• 26:19
  Speaker 1: That's your path.
• 26:20
Speaker 1: So think about it.
• 26:22
Speaker 1: Let me know if this was helpful.
• 26:23
Speaker 1: I think I'm going to end here because I'm just going to start rambling if I don't, but I thank you, amy, so much for your question.
• 26:28
  Speaker 1: It's a really good question.
• 26:29
Speaker 1: Again, if you're looking to learn more about soul contracts, what our souls do on the other side, to learn more about soul contracts, what our souls do on the other side, a Journey of Souls is an amazing, amazing book and resource and I still think, think about that book at least on a weekly basis right now, and it's been several years since I've read it.
• 26:44
Speaker 1: So thank you again.
• 26:46
Speaker 1: If you have any other questions, send them my way.
• 26:48
Speaker 1: I'd love to hear them.
• 26:49
Speaker 1: All right, take care everybody.
