- 0:00Speaker 1: We own a motherfucking bootleg care podcast. We own a
- 0:02Speaker 1: motherfucking bootleg care podcast. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, we
- 0:06Speaker 1: are on the Bootleg Head podcast. This is episode number three.
- 0:13Speaker 1: This episode is a little different than other episodes because
- 0:16Speaker 1: this is gonna be the first episode that does not
- 0:17Speaker 1: involved an interview per se. So shout out to, uh,
- 0:22Speaker 1: everybody who's been checked in thus far for the bootleg
- 0:26Speaker 1: ka podcast. We have a lot of success so far.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Shout out to h Freddie Gibbs, Scott Storch and yeah,
- 0:35Speaker 1: that's it so far, So shout out to them. So
- 0:38Speaker 1: today we're gonna have me and my best friend, uhbpa Checks,
- 0:44Speaker 1: who's officially checked in on the podcast, tapping in what's
- 0:49Speaker 1: up baby? So everybody who knows me knows w Pachecks,
- 0:53Speaker 1: and everyone else, as in like ninety nine of everyone
- 0:57Speaker 1: else has no idea who the fuck this guy is.
- 0:59Speaker 1: And uh, really, we went to high school together and
- 1:02Speaker 1: we're best friends and he works at the post office.
- 1:06Speaker 1: What a bio. Yeah, But me and you have great
- 1:11Speaker 1: conversations about all kinds of shit on the phone all
- 1:15Speaker 1: the time, and we decided that once a week, well
- 1:19Speaker 1: we're gonna just record that conversation as opposed to having
- 1:24Speaker 1: it and not having any benefit from it, so you
- 1:26Speaker 1: know it can range. I'm gonna try to have you
- 1:29Speaker 1: on once a week. I just talk about what's going
- 1:33Speaker 1: on and all kinds of different things. A lot of
- 1:38Speaker 1: hip hop, a lot of sports, maybe some movies, some TV,
- 1:42Speaker 1: maybe a little politics. Man, let's just stop it up.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Maybe some mail. Oh yeah, I got mail. Top. How
- 1:52Speaker 1: long have you been an employee of the Post Office,
- 1:54Speaker 1: David the PHX fourteen years? Fourteen? Yeah, man, geez, that's
- 2:02Speaker 1: crazy anyway. Uh so, yeah, so what do you do
- 2:05Speaker 1: at the post office for people who actually care? I
- 2:09Speaker 1: don't think anybody actually cares. You're right, No one cares
- 2:12Speaker 1: you work there. That's all that matters. We won't get
- 2:14Speaker 1: too specific. You do you get the packs through? I
- 2:18Speaker 1: shipped them packs, you know, make sure you ziplock them.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Shit's right. I don't know if you should be saying
- 2:23Speaker 1: this anyway, So listen, man, we've obviously launched the podcast
- 2:31Speaker 1: and it's done well. In the Freddy Gibbs episode, indirectly,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I guess you could say kind of caused this stir
- 2:38Speaker 1: that's been going on on the internet with DJ academics
- 2:43Speaker 1: and Freddie Gibbs. Yeah, this shit blew up overnight. Man.
- 2:47Speaker 1: As soon as it was on Everyday Struggle, it was
- 2:50Speaker 1: it was over right. So Freddie Gibbs and academics, they've
- 2:55Speaker 1: had an extremely Yeah just pre the interesting beef on
- 3:02Speaker 1: Twitter about as extreme as it can get in terms
- 3:05Speaker 1: of social media beef. Freddy Gibbs is pretty much owning
- 3:09Speaker 1: this guy. Academics went on Twitch and just drunk ranted
- 3:14Speaker 1: for I don't know however long talked about Freddy Gibs children.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Freddy Gbs definitely took it too far, man like. Yeah,
- 3:24Speaker 1: Gibbs posted some merch that had academics photoshopped on a teletubby.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Academics is the police, and that's what it says on
- 3:34Speaker 1: the back. I'm sure that there's got to be a
- 3:37Speaker 1: cease and desist coming from academics for that. You would
- 3:40Speaker 1: think you would think so, but I think academics has
- 3:44Speaker 1: other issues to worry about right now. Yeah, well, he
- 3:47Speaker 1: got so. He also called Chrissy Tigue a bitch and
- 3:51Speaker 1: told John Legend to get his bitch or something. So
- 3:55Speaker 1: Complex did not like that, and they suspended him for
- 3:59Speaker 1: his behavior. Year in Twitch has suspended him from streaming
- 4:03Speaker 1: live and definitely right. Oh yeah, yeah, you know they
- 4:06Speaker 1: banned him from streaming. Oh, he's banned outright, that's what
- 4:10Speaker 1: That's what I read. I could be wrong, but yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 1: so I guess to kind of put things in a
- 4:16Speaker 1: listen man, wherever you fall on the how you determine
- 4:21Speaker 1: how somebody is relevant and hip hop or not, wherever
- 4:27Speaker 1: you fall on that spectrum, there's an argument that can
- 4:30Speaker 1: be made that Freddy Gibbs is right. There's an argument
- 4:32Speaker 1: that can be made that he's wrong. Wait, and what
- 4:36Speaker 1: in what regard? I mean, like Freddy Gibbs said, right now,
- 4:40Speaker 1: young Jeez is not music musically relevant yeah, at this
- 4:44Speaker 1: time currently. Yeah, Now, I personally can agree that at
- 4:49Speaker 1: this very time people aren't necessarily checking for Jez's music.
- 4:53Speaker 1: But in the context of everybody else who's dropping music,
- 4:58Speaker 1: if Jez drops some shit, he would still have more
- 5:03Speaker 1: attention than probably most people. Yeah, I mean into the
- 5:07Speaker 1: average fan that just listens to the radio, Jez is
- 5:11Speaker 1: gonna be above Gibbs right now because GiB Any play,
- 5:15Speaker 1: Jes isn't getting any play either. But nonetheless, what I'm
- 5:17Speaker 1: saying is, however you feel about Academics and Jez's origin
- 5:21Speaker 1: of issue. I'm on I'm on GiB side. You know.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I also understand where Gibbs is coming from. He's got
- 5:31Speaker 1: his personal issues with Jez. It is what it is.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Jez's a legend, but Academics just jumped off a cliff,
- 5:38Speaker 1: and I feel like it's a perfect example of when
- 5:42Speaker 1: you get clout and you start to think that you're untouchable,
- 5:50Speaker 1: and when you get to that point where you're like,
- 5:52Speaker 1: you were always a little fucker and the only thing
- 5:56Speaker 1: that made anybody not know you weren't a little fucker.
- 6:00Speaker 1: You didn't have the money and the ego yet. And
- 6:03Speaker 1: I think this is a perfect example of what happens
- 6:06Speaker 1: when you're a fuck face your whole life, and then
- 6:10Speaker 1: money just shows who he really was in the first place. Exactly.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I just think Academics is not a good He's probably
- 6:15Speaker 1: not a good person. He's probably the kind of person
- 6:18Speaker 1: that like would hang out with six ' nine. Oh wait,
- 6:20Speaker 1: he does, I mean taking a shot at Gibb's son, Like,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that's that's way beyond the pale life. Yeah, it is
- 6:28Speaker 1: what it is. But I just wanted to talk about
- 6:30Speaker 1: it because obviously I'm not necessarily involved. But the topic
- 6:34Speaker 1: of why they started to beef was because of the
- 6:38Speaker 1: interview that we did, and you know, it is what
- 6:40Speaker 1: it is. So shout out togainst the Gibbs. I hope
- 6:42Speaker 1: Academics gets his ship together. Shout out for the free
- 6:46Speaker 1: press too, what's the free press? Just in general? Yeah,
- 6:50Speaker 1: well they shouted your name out about the interview to
- 6:54Speaker 1: the podcast. What's the free press? Oh oh yeah, you're
- 6:57Speaker 1: talking about I thought you I thought that was a
- 6:58Speaker 1: website that's word press dog. Yeah. Anyway, So shout out
- 7:04Speaker 1: to Academics and Freddie Gibbs for entertaining us via the
- 7:08Speaker 1: internet all week long. Gangs to Gibbs, so go get that, Alfredo,
- 7:13Speaker 1: h sir. The other thing what was what was crazy
- 7:17Speaker 1: is like they were so last week was the twenty
- 7:21Speaker 1: fifth anniversary of Reasonable Doubt or was it twenty four
- 7:25Speaker 1: twenty fourth? Yeah, so it was the twenty fourth anniversary
- 7:29Speaker 1: of Reasonable Doubt. Now jay Z's in my opinion, Jay
- 7:36Speaker 1: is the only rapper that somebody can say to me
- 7:40Speaker 1: is the goat. And there's no argument to be made. Yeah,
- 7:45Speaker 1: there's just like nothing you can say if someone's if
- 7:47Speaker 1: you ask somebody, hey, who's the greatest of all timer
- 7:49Speaker 1: they say jay Z. There's no counter argument there. It
- 7:54Speaker 1: goes back to the Jordan and Lebron thing we always
- 7:57Speaker 1: talked about. You can't get mad either way. Yeah, have
- 8:00Speaker 1: their opinion, but if they say one of those two,
- 8:03Speaker 1: you can't say anything about it. Yeah, but Jay is
- 8:07Speaker 1: that guy. There's only one in hip hop that's undeniable.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And he's not my personal number one, but I think
- 8:16Speaker 1: he is the consent that anybody says to anybody other
- 8:18Speaker 1: than jay Z, they're wrong. No, no, no, no, no.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I'm just saying that there's an argument, Like I personally
- 8:25Speaker 1: would probably say NAS, but there's a huge argument against NAS.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Even even if you said, like I don't know, obviously Tupac.
- 8:35Speaker 1: There's so much argument there. There's so much even talk
- 8:38Speaker 1: about that Biggie Small's only had two albums, you know,
- 8:43Speaker 1: Eminem's put out some bullshit Andre three thousand, Yeah, you know.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I think they're the lack of solo catalog and and
- 8:53Speaker 1: just him stopping and at the peak of Outcast. You know,
- 8:59Speaker 1: I just think Day has done more and just over time.
- 9:04Speaker 1: The longevity is crazy. So back jevity is definitely unmasked.
- 9:07Speaker 1: So Reasonable Doubt twenty four years and I think Reasonable
- 9:10Speaker 1: Doubt is jay Z's best album personally. I rank it
- 9:16Speaker 1: number one overall. I actually have it. I think I
- 9:19Speaker 1: wrote down my best albums of All Time list, and
- 9:23Speaker 1: I had it around six or seven this though I
- 9:29Speaker 1: thought we were doing a list, I took the time
- 9:31Speaker 1: to make this down. Yeah. So what I want to
- 9:33Speaker 1: do is I want us to each go over our
- 9:36Speaker 1: jays that I want us to each rank jay Z's
- 9:40Speaker 1: discography our own personal rankings. Okay, let's start at thirteen.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I'll let you go first. You're go thirteen, all the
- 9:47Speaker 1: way down, all the way down. Oh, I thought we
- 9:50Speaker 1: were going to go back to back. No, no no, no,
- 9:51Speaker 1: go all the way down A right, So I got
- 9:55Speaker 1: the easiest last place of all time in my opinion,
- 9:58Speaker 1: really really yes, okay under this one. It just didn't
- 10:06Speaker 1: hit me right here. Four four four wasn't really that's
- 10:11Speaker 1: that's twelve wow? Yeah, number eleven, Blueprint three, okay, I
- 10:20Speaker 1: got Volume three, number ten, then Magna Carta Holy Grail
- 10:26Speaker 1: at nine ooh, Blueprint two, number eight. Yeah, And this
- 10:34Speaker 1: one was hard for me because I fuck with this
- 10:35Speaker 1: album a lot more than most people in Dynasty. I
- 10:39Speaker 1: love so many tracks off that, so I didn't know
- 10:41Speaker 1: where to put it, Like, I know it's not his
- 10:42Speaker 1: strongest for sure, But and then I got Volume two,
- 10:46Speaker 1: number six, Volume one, number five, that's high it is.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I know. I got American Gangster number four. I love
- 10:59Speaker 1: that shit came out of no where. Pretty much thought
- 11:01Speaker 1: Jay was going in that decline, you know, and then
- 11:04Speaker 1: he just comes through with that album. It was nuts.
- 11:07Speaker 1: That was just gonna be like some weak ass little
- 11:08Speaker 1: spinoff for the movie Fire number three, the Black Album,
- 11:14Speaker 1: number two, Reasonable Doubt, and number one the Blueprint. All right, well,
- 11:20Speaker 1: your list and my list are totally different. Let's here it, okay,
- 11:24Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go with with last place, Magna Carter,
- 11:28Speaker 1: Holy Grail. Why I think Magna Carter Holy Girl's jay
- 11:34Speaker 1: Z's worst album. I will never, ever, ever, ever ever
- 11:37Speaker 1: gone back and listened to Magna Carta Holy Girl. We'll
- 11:42Speaker 1: get in. Just run through your list, we'll get into.
- 11:44Speaker 1: That was the Samsung exclusive release. Mm hmm. And when
- 11:50Speaker 1: I look at the track list, I just dude, it
- 11:54Speaker 1: was not a great album, bro. I know certain people
- 11:57Speaker 1: really like it. Picasso Baby was cool. Somewhere in America
- 12:02Speaker 1: was dough. I mean, look, jay Z ain't doing trash shit, right,
- 12:05Speaker 1: but you know, Holy Grail was a cool single, but
- 12:10Speaker 1: Magna Carta Holy Grail last fucking place, okay, number let's
- 12:17Speaker 1: see that was thirteen. Number twelve A. You know, this
- 12:27Speaker 1: album to me aged a little bit better over time
- 12:32Speaker 1: than when it first came out how I felt about it.
- 12:36Speaker 1: But I'm gonna put it at twelve. Mm ah, I'm
- 12:43Speaker 1: gonna put Kingdom Come at twelve. Should have been thirteen,
- 12:47Speaker 1: but nah, I almost put it at eleven. I almost
- 12:50Speaker 1: put it above the next album, Kingdom Come was so
- 12:55Speaker 1: the song Kingdom Come was fire. Lost One was fire,
- 12:57Speaker 1: thirty Something was fire. The Beach Chair record was fucking dope. Yeah,
- 13:05Speaker 1: there was a couple. I'm not saying it's hot trash,
- 13:07Speaker 1: but it was an easy decision for me, all right,
- 13:09Speaker 1: So listen. So number eleven for me, Blueprint three, that's
- 13:21Speaker 1: what where I had it. I think Blueprint three, Uh
- 13:27Speaker 1: was disappointing to say the least should had the three
- 13:31Speaker 1: on it. D o A was fire Run This Town
- 13:35Speaker 1: was fucking incredible. Empire State of Mind, which I believe
- 13:37Speaker 1: is Jayson's. It's his biggest song and the only number one.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I think. Yeah, it's his only number one, at least
- 13:43Speaker 1: at that time. It came out onto the next one
- 13:45Speaker 1: was cool, had a lot of singles on there. Yeah, yeah, no,
- 13:49Speaker 1: it was. It was a good album. I mean even
- 13:51Speaker 1: Forever Young was kind of corny. But yeah, So Blueprint
- 13:55Speaker 1: three is eleven, number ten. I'm gonna go with Volume one. Ooh,
- 14:08Speaker 1: I had Volume one of five. Okay, so Volume one
- 14:13Speaker 1: for me, obviously a million is on it, which is
- 14:18Speaker 1: probably a top five primo beat personally for me. Imaginary player,
- 14:23Speaker 1: friend of Phone ninety eight. I hated, I hated. I
- 14:28Speaker 1: know what girls like. I hate it always be my
- 14:30Speaker 1: sunshine doggus. But look at it, look at the end
- 14:37Speaker 1: where I'm from, you must love me. Yeah, yeah, no,
- 14:40Speaker 1: I mean, listen, it's a good album. It's a jay
- 14:42Speaker 1: Z album. It's good. But it's number ten for me,
- 14:47Speaker 1: number nine. This is another tough one. I'm gonna put,
- 14:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go. Volume three at number
- 15:04Speaker 1: nine now. Volume three is one of my favorite jay
- 15:07Speaker 1: Z albums personally because it was the first jay Z
- 15:11Speaker 1: album that I bought with my own money. But it's
- 15:17Speaker 1: number nine. Uh, there's some shit on there for sure.
- 15:21Speaker 1: For sure. I loved so many songs on this album. Dope,
- 15:26Speaker 1: man so ghetto, oh Im, I don't know, man do
- 15:30Speaker 1: it again stands out? But I was looking through the
- 15:33Speaker 1: track list and man, big pimpin Yeah, yeah, it's definitely
- 15:38Speaker 1: uh outside of those strong records, like the other records
- 15:42Speaker 1: kind of lost me. So the intro was dope. I
- 15:47Speaker 1: remember the intro was like, I don't care if it's winner,
- 15:50Speaker 1: roll them shits down, windows down, ride with me. Yeah,
- 15:54Speaker 1: so shout out to Hove. So that was number nine, right,
- 15:58Speaker 1: uh yeah, number eight hmm. Now this is where it
- 16:06Speaker 1: can get a little controversial. I'm gonna put Volume two
- 16:11Speaker 1: at number eight. Wow, dog, the disrespect here is crazy. Yeah,
- 16:18Speaker 1: I'm putting Volume is that Volume one, three, and two
- 16:23Speaker 1: in succession. It might be not even on purpose. So
- 16:30Speaker 1: Volume two was probably at the time, the jay It
- 16:33Speaker 1: was the album that made jay Z cross over, that
- 16:36Speaker 1: turned him into a superstar. Volume two is the album
- 16:39Speaker 1: that he headlined the Hard Knock Life tour on. It
- 16:42Speaker 1: was him DMX met the Man of red Man and
- 16:45Speaker 1: this was the album that he headlined that album off of,
- 16:47Speaker 1: or that tour off of Hard Knock Life Ride or die.
- 16:52Speaker 1: What is that track list? How are you putting this? Jiggawd? Okay, okay,
- 16:58Speaker 1: you know what? Yeah, money cash hose if you listen,
- 17:02Speaker 1: all right, I'm gonna I'm gonna pull an audible here.
- 17:05Speaker 1: This was some of my personal favorites. It's like that,
- 17:08Speaker 1: it's such a slept on. Okay, So this was I
- 17:10Speaker 1: said this was number eight, right, Yeah, okay, I'm gonna
- 17:14Speaker 1: say it's number seven and instead instead I will put
- 17:21Speaker 1: four forty four at number eight. What do you like
- 17:26Speaker 1: about four forty four? I think it's a perp. I
- 17:29Speaker 1: think it's it's a damn near. I don't know, man,
- 17:32Speaker 1: I couldn't skip anything on it. I think it's just
- 17:35Speaker 1: the idea of like jay Z making a grown ass
- 17:38Speaker 1: rap album and couldn't and this low then the story
- 17:43Speaker 1: of because I think now we're getting into just jay
- 17:45Speaker 1: Z's best albums, and I do I think the only
- 17:49Speaker 1: there's one obvious, uh, the one that's still out there
- 17:53Speaker 1: that I haven't mentioned that I think people will disagree
- 17:56Speaker 1: with me heavily on, but we're about to get to it.
- 17:58Speaker 1: So yeah, story of OJ Kill jay Z four forty
- 18:02Speaker 1: four Family Few. I just thought it was his most
- 18:05Speaker 1: vulnerable album. So jay Z's four forty four is at eight,
- 18:11Speaker 1: jay Z's Volume two is at seven. I'm right, are we?
- 18:16Speaker 1: Are we in the right range now? Right? Yeah? Number
- 18:19Speaker 1: six is the Blueprint two. That's the controversy right there.
- 18:25Speaker 1: That's the controversial pick because a lot of people think
- 18:27Speaker 1: this is one of jay Z's worst albums, and if
- 18:32Speaker 1: you were to listen to it in totality, I wouldn't
- 18:35Speaker 1: necessarily disagree with you, because I do think it has
- 18:38Speaker 1: some of the worst jay Z on it overall, but
- 18:43Speaker 1: I also think some of the best jay Z ever
- 18:46Speaker 1: is on this album. I think Meet the Parents, specifically
- 18:52Speaker 1: by Hove, is the single best piece of storytelling and
- 18:57Speaker 1: hip hop history. That's my my opinion. College there should
- 19:02Speaker 1: be courses built around that. Yeah, I think Meet the
- 19:05Speaker 1: Parents is probably the most underrated jay Z song ever.
- 19:09Speaker 1: It's also to me, the best piece of storytelling I've
- 19:11Speaker 1: ever heard in hip hop. Now, obviously there's some there's
- 19:14Speaker 1: a lot of there's rewind, there's a lot of biggie shit,
- 19:17Speaker 1: but I'm taking Meet the Parents over all that. So
- 19:20Speaker 1: it's got Meet the Parents. It's got the Blueprint too,
- 19:24Speaker 1: which was crazy the h Ova that beat was insane,
- 19:29Speaker 1: but a lot of people don't give it love because
- 19:30Speaker 1: it was like his final shot at NAS after people
- 19:33Speaker 1: had already crowned jay Z the loser of that. Yeah,
- 19:36Speaker 1: some people hate man. Diamonds is Forever a Dream. I
- 19:43Speaker 1: thought a dream was Dope the Watcher two. Yeah, I
- 19:48Speaker 1: just think that of a bag though. That's the problem.
- 19:52Speaker 1: So there was a lot of bullshit on this album.
- 19:54Speaker 1: But if I were to just put a playlist together
- 19:56Speaker 1: of like my favorite ten songs off this album, it's
- 20:00Speaker 1: one of my favorite jay Z albums. So looking at
- 20:03Speaker 1: a list that jay Z made, I think this was
- 20:06Speaker 1: this is twenty thirteen. He put a number eleven at
- 20:10Speaker 1: the time. I mean, yeah, I mean I understand. I
- 20:14Speaker 1: just I don't know. I just think that the good
- 20:15Speaker 1: shit on there is so good that it's like it's
- 20:18Speaker 1: like fucking incredible. So shout out to who Blueprint too.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I just had at number six, right, So now we
- 20:24Speaker 1: got to get into the top five. I haven't done
- 20:28Speaker 1: the Dynasty, correct, correct, you know Dynasty Dynasty too, But
- 20:36Speaker 1: you know what, I guess I'm putting The Dynasty at
- 20:41Speaker 1: number five. I have the bass to do it, honestly,
- 20:44Speaker 1: and I love the Dynasty. I should have put it
- 20:47Speaker 1: a little higher. Soon you'll understand. It's one of my
- 20:50Speaker 1: favorite jay Z songs. This Can't be Life. It's one
- 20:53Speaker 1: of my favorite jay Z songs. Change the game. I
- 20:56Speaker 1: just want to love you. Streets is talking stick to
- 20:58Speaker 1: the script. Yeah, when you were first on this can't
- 21:02Speaker 1: be Life? One of my favorite verses of all time.
- 21:05Speaker 1: When you look at the playlist, it's up there. Man,
- 21:10Speaker 1: I'm putting it at number five, and I don't I
- 21:13Speaker 1: don't know, man, Volume two could have went there. I
- 21:16Speaker 1: kind of feel like I slided Volume two a little.
- 21:19Speaker 1: You look back at that track listing, it's just it's
- 21:21Speaker 1: almost all fire up. But Dynasty is all fire too.
- 21:24Speaker 1: So I'm gonna keep Dynasty at number five. So now
- 21:27Speaker 1: the top four. Kingdom Come, I'm sorry, American Gangster is
- 21:31Speaker 1: number four? Always giving me a heart attack? Dog No,
- 21:35Speaker 1: American Gangster number four? Uh, probably the most slept on
- 21:39Speaker 1: jay Z album. See, I always think I'm alone. So
- 21:42Speaker 1: is this more of a popular thing than I thought? Maybe?
- 21:45Speaker 1: I just think hove like this was the album that
- 21:47Speaker 1: dropped right like after Kingdom Come, and it was it
- 21:51Speaker 1: was it was a you know, based off of American
- 21:54Speaker 1: Gangster the movie was at the time. You know, it's
- 21:58Speaker 1: just some dope records, man, Jesus Christ. Yeah, like I
- 22:03Speaker 1: said before, like when it came out, no one knew
- 22:05Speaker 1: what to think about it, Like you can just completely
- 22:09Speaker 1: fell out of space. Prey, American Dreaming, Hello, Brooklyn Rock Boys,
- 22:15Speaker 1: I know, ignorant shit falling success with NAS who That
- 22:22Speaker 1: was the second NAS collab. First one was Black Republican
- 22:24Speaker 1: on hip Hop was dead, but yeah, fucking fire. So
- 22:30Speaker 1: number four. I feel good about American Gangster being number four.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Now the top three gets a little tricky, uh, because
- 22:39Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna put I'm gonna put the Black
- 22:44Speaker 1: Album at number three, but I think it could be
- 22:47Speaker 1: number two, but I'm gonna put it at number three.
- 22:51Speaker 1: So the Black Album was the album that was supposed
- 22:54Speaker 1: to be Jay Z's last. That was, Yeah, that was
- 22:57Speaker 1: supposed to be his last album. That came out when
- 22:59Speaker 1: we were senors or junior and I was a junior.
- 23:03Speaker 1: You were a senior in high school. Yep. I remember
- 23:06Speaker 1: Rock the Mic Tour two thousand and three, Yes, sir,
- 23:09Speaker 1: oh no, that was before Black Album came out, because
- 23:13Speaker 1: I remember I got the shirt it had the Black
- 23:15Speaker 1: Album in the back. Yeah. So this album to me
- 23:21Speaker 1: had some of the best production that Jay has ever gotten.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I think man not there that was a big look
- 23:30Speaker 1: for ninth at the time. Yeah, Threats, I mean just
- 23:34Speaker 1: Blaze came with that heat. What more can I say?
- 23:38Speaker 1: Was so fire this whole entire this album was put
- 23:42Speaker 1: together in such a flawless way that it felt like
- 23:45Speaker 1: you were watching a movie throughout the whole album. And
- 23:49Speaker 1: I think that it could be number two, it could
- 23:53Speaker 1: be number one. I always have this connection with the
- 23:56Speaker 1: Black Album too because of the Gray Album. Oh yeah,
- 23:59Speaker 1: le Danger Mouse Danger Mouse. Yeah, well that was kind
- 24:02Speaker 1: of dope too because at the time Jay put out
- 24:04Speaker 1: the a cappella's version of this So all the producers,
- 24:10Speaker 1: what do you think is the best song on this album?
- 24:14Speaker 1: My favorite is A Lure. I was gonna say A
- 24:17Speaker 1: Lure is the most slept on song. It might be
- 24:21Speaker 1: the best song, but it's definitely the most slept on song. Yeah,
- 24:25Speaker 1: even like Moment of Clarity was fucking fire. Yeah, this
- 24:32Speaker 1: album was fucking incredible. I think the worst song on
- 24:36Speaker 1: this album was Justify My Thug. Actually, yep, Justify my Thug.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I was definitely and then PSA fuck the interlude, Man,
- 24:45Speaker 1: come on, dude, that's one of the songs that's in
- 24:48Speaker 1: the club that you could always play and it doesn't matter,
- 24:51Speaker 1: everyone will sing along. I'm gonna pick my favorite song
- 24:56Speaker 1: off this album is probably I remember when Changed Clothes
- 25:00Speaker 1: came out, that was the first single. I was a
- 25:02Speaker 1: little worried. Yeah, I'm gonna go with what more can
- 25:04Speaker 1: I say is my favorite? Or Lucifer one of my
- 25:07Speaker 1: favorite Kanye beats, and then the final two are obvious.
- 25:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna take number two, the Blueprint, which got five
- 25:13Speaker 1: mics in the source, that came out on September eleventh.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I remember going to the warehouse and buying it, and
- 25:19Speaker 1: I bought that and Fabulous is Ghetto Fabulous on the
- 25:22Speaker 1: same day. They both came out on that same day,
- 25:24Speaker 1: September eleventh. A lot of people consider this jay Z's
- 25:30Speaker 1: best body of work. It's one of the greatest albums
- 25:34Speaker 1: of all time. I'm definitely in that camp. Man, it's
- 25:39Speaker 1: a feasonable doubt is amazing, But Blueprint is like perfection
- 25:42Speaker 1: to me, It's almost perfection. It's almost perfection. I think
- 25:46Speaker 1: that the only song when I look at the play
- 25:51Speaker 1: that the the track list, the only song I kind
- 25:55Speaker 1: of had wish wouldn't have made it was All I Need,
- 25:58Speaker 1: All I Need six out like this or thumb Yeah,
- 26:02Speaker 1: but even All I Need is Thope. Yeah, but it
- 26:06Speaker 1: just it's not at the level of the rest of
- 26:08Speaker 1: the songs for sure. Yeah. And if you think of Takeover,
- 26:14Speaker 1: which is one of the greatest this records ever, you
- 26:18Speaker 1: don't know, it's probably a top three jay Z song ever.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you didn't you mention that on Blueprint to
- 26:24Speaker 1: the remix? Yeah, the remix of mop was on Blueprint two.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Eminem just the only guest verse on this whole album
- 26:32Speaker 1: is Eminem And what a guest verse it was. I mean,
- 26:36Speaker 1: it wasn't really a guest verse. That was a song
- 26:39Speaker 1: jay Z jumped on it. Yeah, it was originally Royce,
- 26:44Speaker 1: you know. The other song was I guess maybe jig
- 26:49Speaker 1: of that N word was probably a song that I
- 26:51Speaker 1: could have did without Ah, I fuck with that song.
- 26:55Speaker 1: But nonetheless, incredible album. This was kind of Kanye just
- 27:01Speaker 1: blaze coming out party. This album. This was the album
- 27:05Speaker 1: that solidified I mean, they changed music, hip hop music
- 27:08Speaker 1: for that. This is that era right there. This the
- 27:11Speaker 1: album that solidified Kanye and just Blaze as household producer
- 27:15Speaker 1: names in hip hop, not artists. No one knew Kanye Wrapped,
- 27:19Speaker 1: but as far as like, they created a sound that
- 27:23Speaker 1: the rest of music followed for a few years. So
- 27:28Speaker 1: that's number two and number one is Reasonable Doubt in
- 27:32Speaker 1: my opinion. So it just celebrated the twenty fourth birthday
- 27:36Speaker 1: of Reasonable Doubt. And man, I just think that this
- 27:41Speaker 1: album is, like, it's like a weird thing because when
- 27:45Speaker 1: it came out, it obviously, I mean it was nineteen
- 27:48Speaker 1: ninety six, so I was fucking nine years old. Yeah yeah,
- 27:52Speaker 1: but I feel like it didn't make the immediate impact
- 27:59Speaker 1: that it it that it did over time, Like when
- 28:02Speaker 1: it first came out, I don't think people gave it
- 28:04Speaker 1: to just do that it deserved. Especially commercially. Yeah, it
- 28:09Speaker 1: didn't have that MTV hit like it had BT songs
- 28:12Speaker 1: that we played, But I don't remember seeing it on
- 28:15Speaker 1: MTV too much. Make I just remember seeing the ads,
- 28:17Speaker 1: uh in the source. What was the biggest single commercially Off?
- 28:22Speaker 1: This probably ain't no Yeah Off? That was on the
- 28:24Speaker 1: Nutting Professor soundtrack. Nah, that was I'll be good. Oh
- 28:31Speaker 1: you're right, Yeah, you're right, you're right, You're right. Yeah, No,
- 28:34Speaker 1: Ain't No, Ain't No was the biggest. Yeah, I mean
- 28:37Speaker 1: commercially at the time. Obviously historically, it's not historically historically
- 28:44Speaker 1: it's probably Can't Knock the Hustle. But you look at
- 28:48Speaker 1: this track listing and to me, this is jay Z
- 28:55Speaker 1: the hungry, the hungriest jay Z. It's the purest jay
- 28:59Speaker 1: Z and it's the and in my opinion, the best.
- 29:02Speaker 1: I think this is his best album. I don't know
- 29:05Speaker 1: where there's a song that I'm like, maybe bring it
- 29:09Speaker 1: On with jazz and sauce money, but Man, the Evils,
- 29:14Speaker 1: feeling it Dead, President's Brooklyn's Finance with Biggie politics as usual,
- 29:18Speaker 1: Can I Live? Twenty two to two's Friend or Foe,
- 29:22Speaker 1: Coming of Age Man, or as many tracks as there are.
- 29:27Speaker 1: There's just a lot of classics on here, like top
- 29:29Speaker 1: to bottom. Yeah. I also think that this album because
- 29:36Speaker 1: if you think Volume one right, Volume one came out
- 29:42Speaker 1: and he had the Black Street record, City's Mine, and
- 29:47Speaker 1: what was the other record, the single with the girl
- 29:50Speaker 1: on it, Sunshine Sunshine. So that's jay Z's second album, right,
- 29:56Speaker 1: and that was the first time I feel like he
- 29:58Speaker 1: got in his commercial bag a little bit it but
- 30:00Speaker 1: that album didn't age very well in his legacy, but
- 30:06Speaker 1: you look at the non single tracks on there that
- 30:09Speaker 1: that no no, I agree like a million and I mean,
- 30:12Speaker 1: there's great ship on that album. But what I'm saying
- 30:14Speaker 1: is this album aged to be one of the greatest
- 30:18Speaker 1: albums of all time, and when it first came out,
- 30:20Speaker 1: I don't think people really thought of it that way.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I think they thought of it as a great album,
- 30:25Speaker 1: as an amazing album, but I don't think they put
- 30:27Speaker 1: it in the conversation that they put it in now,
- 30:29Speaker 1: and I think that kind of that means a lot.
- 30:32Speaker 1: So yeah, it was a slow burn for sure. But Hey,
- 30:35Speaker 1: you could say Blueprint, Black Album or Reasonable Doubt and
- 30:39Speaker 1: I really wouldn't have shit to say. But I'm picking
- 30:40Speaker 1: Reasonable Doubt as just a fad track on there. Hmm. Man,
- 30:48Speaker 1: I kind of yell. I'm gonna go with politics, something
- 30:55Speaker 1: about friend or foe. I really enjoy the can I
- 31:00Speaker 1: and can I live? Mm I'm gonna go I say
- 31:08Speaker 1: the Evils or Dead Presidents. The Evils was fucking fire
- 31:12Speaker 1: with the with the Snoop Dogg sample DJ premiere. Yeah,
- 31:18Speaker 1: how about this? If you were to add Watch the
- 31:20Speaker 1: Throne into the jay Z catalog. Where would you have
- 31:23Speaker 1: had ranked it? I mean, let me look at this
- 31:25Speaker 1: list real quick. I would have probably put it fifth
- 31:29Speaker 1: or sixth I put it, yeah, right behind the American Game,
- 31:33Speaker 1: maybe maybe even fourth. Honestly, another album that aged well
- 31:38Speaker 1: because when it first came out, I remember you and
- 31:41Speaker 1: me were like, some of the ship on here is
- 31:43Speaker 1: techno sounds and shiit. I felt that way for like
- 31:47Speaker 1: two weeks. I got over there. Yeah, I got over
- 31:49Speaker 1: pretty quick too, but for for about a week or two,
- 31:51Speaker 1: it was like, wait, what the fuck is this? Oh?
- 31:54Speaker 1: But I probably put it at five or six. So
- 31:57Speaker 1: shout out to jay Z. Yeah, so to give everybody
- 32:02Speaker 1: a rundown. Number thirteen last place in the jay Zu discography.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Hold on, let me let me back this thing up.
- 32:15Speaker 1: I got Magna CARTI Holy Girl number thirteen. I got
- 32:18Speaker 1: Kingdom Come thirteen, number twelve. I got the Blueprint. No,
- 32:25Speaker 1: I got Kingdom Come twelve. Right, Yeah, so I put
- 32:28Speaker 1: Kingdom Come number twelve. I put Blueprint three number eleven,
- 32:33Speaker 1: number ten. I put Volume one number nine. I put
- 32:37Speaker 1: Volume three number eight. I put four forty four number
- 32:48Speaker 1: number seven. I put Volume two number six. I put
- 32:59Speaker 1: the Blueprint two number five, The Dynasty number four, American
- 33:06Speaker 1: Gangster number three, the Black Album number two, Blueprint number one,
- 33:12Speaker 1: reasonable doubt that's mine. So shout out to Jay. I
- 33:17Speaker 1: think we're gonna end up getting some new jay Z too.
- 33:21Speaker 1: A whole album. I mean, Jay elect was basically collab album. Yeah,
- 33:27Speaker 1: that's another one that you might be able to include,
- 33:30Speaker 1: even though you couldn't because al it was released. But Jesus,
- 33:33Speaker 1: that's a collab album. Shout out to Jay. Anything else? Oh, listen,
- 33:39Speaker 1: we're talking about shit that we were been watching during quarantine.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Now you're a big TV guy. I'm a big TV guy.
- 33:49Speaker 1: I've been buying so much random movies off of my
- 33:53Speaker 1: Amazon Prime account just because I'm bored and I've ran
- 33:56Speaker 1: out of shit to watch on Netflix, Hulu, and HBO.
- 34:00Speaker 1: So I'll just dig. I'll just start watching trailers and shit.
- 34:04Speaker 1: M hm. So I wanted to talk about two movies
- 34:07Speaker 1: that if you're listening and you're like, fucking you just
- 34:10Speaker 1: want to watch something that's not how about let me
- 34:14Speaker 1: do this two very good, bad movies that you can
- 34:19Speaker 1: quarantine watch. I watched this movie called The Hunt, which
- 34:25Speaker 1: is a Blumhouse picture that one looks dope to me.
- 34:31Speaker 1: It was it was. It was so stupid that it
- 34:33Speaker 1: was good. It's about, without giving away too much, it's
- 34:37Speaker 1: about a bunch of elite liberals. They kidnap a bunch
- 34:44Speaker 1: of deplorables aka Trumper's right, and then they hunt them
- 34:49Speaker 1: in the middle of nowhere. Amazing premise. Yeah, and it
- 34:53Speaker 1: it like plays up every single stereotype about all those
- 34:56Speaker 1: different types of people. So it is fucking terrible, but
- 35:00Speaker 1: it's very entertaining. An easy light watch. If you've got
- 35:03Speaker 1: some shit going on and you want to, you could
- 35:06Speaker 1: throw it on. And depending on your views, it's a
- 35:08Speaker 1: light watch, I think, no matter which end of the
- 35:11Speaker 1: spectrum you're on, it's a light watch, even if it
- 35:13Speaker 1: doesn't matter. So you're gonna laugh well because it plays
- 35:17Speaker 1: up a lot of the corny liberal stereotypes. Two. Yeah,
- 35:21Speaker 1: but flip it around. Let's say it's conservative hunting democrats.
- 35:24Speaker 1: That movie would never get made. Are you kidding me?
- 35:29Speaker 1: We're in America right now, Doug. That movie that shit
- 35:33Speaker 1: ain't getting made. Bro, that shit ain't getting made. Who's
- 35:37Speaker 1: making that movie in Hollywood? Hollywood? A bunch of liberal motherfuckers.
- 35:40Speaker 1: That's real, Come on, ain't no fucking movie studio making
- 35:43Speaker 1: that Alex Jones. Info Wars might make that fucking movie
- 35:47Speaker 1: straight to Info Wars Info Wars exclusive bru word up.
- 35:52Speaker 1: By the way, what happened to that? I feel like
- 35:54Speaker 1: I don't get enough Alex Jones in my life anymore,
- 35:58Speaker 1: and I'm not Well, he got he platforms, that's what happened. Well,
- 36:03Speaker 1: he's off Twitter right without Noah, He's off of YouTube,
- 36:06Speaker 1: which is the biggest thing. So he hasn't been on
- 36:08Speaker 1: YouTube for like forty five years, so he's there's no
- 36:12Speaker 1: more YouTube, and there's no more Twitter for him, and
- 36:15Speaker 1: no more Facebook for him. I didn't know off Facebook too, No,
- 36:19Speaker 1: he got totally deplatformed now Alex Jones. I say people
- 36:24Speaker 1: might be able to misconstrue me saying there's not enough
- 36:26Speaker 1: Alex Jones in my life as me being somebody who's
- 36:28Speaker 1: a fan of Alex Jones. I'll say this, I think
- 36:32Speaker 1: he's an absolute psychopath who is wrong about ninety percent
- 36:38Speaker 1: of everything that comes out of his mouth. There is
- 36:41Speaker 1: a ten percent that he's right about that people just
- 36:45Speaker 1: kind of because he's so crazy, it doesn't matter. He'd
- 36:49Speaker 1: be saying so much crazy shit. But I'll be damned.
- 36:52Speaker 1: If entertainment value is always there, the entertainment value is
- 36:55Speaker 1: not the illest shit ever. This guy went on the
- 36:58Speaker 1: fucking Joe Rogan podcast and about aliens raping people and
- 37:02Speaker 1: lizard people and all kinds of wild ass gay frogs
- 37:06Speaker 1: and shit for three hours. Bro. That shit was ridiculous
- 37:09Speaker 1: because there's people who actually take him serious. So that's
- 37:12Speaker 1: the issue. But he's funny. Yeah, Alex Jones would make
- 37:16Speaker 1: that movie. And so the other movie that I thought
- 37:19Speaker 1: was fucking hilarious, I don't know what, dude. I bought
- 37:22Speaker 1: this movie on Amazon Prime just off the strength of
- 37:27Speaker 1: the trailer. And let me tell you why. It's a
- 37:29Speaker 1: movie called Becky. And I've been on some shit where
- 37:33Speaker 1: I just be I just enjoy watching fucking terrible movies
- 37:36Speaker 1: for whatever is production, for what is it applies production? No,
- 37:42Speaker 1: that was a terrible joke. Terrible joke anyway. No, So
- 37:48Speaker 1: in the trailer, it shows fucking Kevin James, King of Queens, Yeah,
- 37:56Speaker 1: with a fucking swastika tattoo on his head. Oh this
- 37:59Speaker 1: is the trailer you wanted me to watch? Yes, okay,
- 38:03Speaker 1: So it's about Kevin James breaks out of jail and
- 38:07Speaker 1: is a murderer Nazi and like tortures a family. And
- 38:12Speaker 1: I was like, yo, fam, there's no way I'm not
- 38:16Speaker 1: watching this. It has to be historically terrible, historically terrible.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Nobody is casting fucking Kevin James as anything but the
- 38:27Speaker 1: fucking lovable fat dude in the fucking Buddy Comedy, and
- 38:31Speaker 1: they put this motherfucker as a Nazi bro. And the
- 38:34Speaker 1: shit was horrible, but it was horrible and entertaining. You
- 38:40Speaker 1: couldn't keep your eyes off the joint. I kept my
- 38:42Speaker 1: eyes off. I was half assed watching it, but I
- 38:44Speaker 1: watched the whole thing. So if you're looking for a
- 38:49Speaker 1: very uh two movies that are entertaining, these aren't strong recommends, Doug, No,
- 38:57Speaker 1: They're not good, but they're entertaining. I would say The
- 39:02Speaker 1: Hunt and Becky and the Little Little Girl in Becky's
- 39:07Speaker 1: a Gangster. But outside of that, I'm not I'm not putting,
- 39:10Speaker 1: I'm not co signing these movies. I mean it sounds
- 39:13Speaker 1: like you just ran through for like ten minutes on
- 39:15Speaker 1: them there. I mean, look, man, I mean we in
- 39:18Speaker 1: the middle of a quarantine. Bro. All right, what what
- 39:22Speaker 1: give everybody a TV show that if they haven't watched it.
- 39:24Speaker 1: What should they be watching? I slept on TV show man,
- 39:31Speaker 1: I only watched Percis shit you know me? Man? Yeah?
- 39:33Speaker 1: But sometimes it is the Perceives shit, isn't what's the
- 39:37Speaker 1: most popping ship? Last thing I ran through completely was
- 39:42Speaker 1: The Sopranos and everybody's up on that. Well, have you
- 39:45Speaker 1: watched it? I don't think you have? Have you? I
- 39:47Speaker 1: never finished Sopranos? What have you just fell off? Yeah?
- 39:52Speaker 1: I had all the DV I was. I was into
- 39:55Speaker 1: the Sopranos during the DVD era and those seasons were
- 39:59Speaker 1: hella expensive. We'll jump in HBO go. Yeah, I would
- 40:05Speaker 1: say a TV show that, what is the show we
- 40:08Speaker 1: I just finished? I just finished the first Oh yo,
- 40:12Speaker 1: fam This show alone on Netflix. It's about ten people
- 40:20Speaker 1: that get dropped off in the middle of nowhere with
- 40:23Speaker 1: nothing but what's in their backpack and their survival specialists.
- 40:28Speaker 1: All of them have like survival skills. It's a reality show.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Oh okay, so they all so they all have to
- 40:35Speaker 1: they have to serve. Whoever survives and doesn't tap out
- 40:40Speaker 1: like whoever's left at the end. It could go however
- 40:43Speaker 1: long it goes. They win half a million dollars and
- 40:48Speaker 1: this shit is crazy. These motherfuckers is eating all kinds
- 40:51Speaker 1: of wild shit, hunting, fishing. The shit is fucking ill.
- 40:55Speaker 1: So it's like naked and afraid. Yeah I haven't seen
- 40:58Speaker 1: naked in afraid, but people say it's like that. But
- 41:00Speaker 1: isn't naked and afraid. They get dropped off naked with nothing. Yeah.
- 41:04Speaker 1: This they have a backpack with stuff in it. So
- 41:08Speaker 1: they put together a fucking like their own, like they
- 41:11Speaker 1: build their own little place. No no, no, no no, no no,
- 41:15Speaker 1: they build like their their shelter. They build all kinds
- 41:18Speaker 1: of shit like fucking Some people come with a bow
- 41:22Speaker 1: and arrow in their bag. Some people come with a hatchet.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Some people like it's it's pretty fucking wild, bro, it's
- 41:28Speaker 1: pretty good, man, And it makes you realize, like it ain't.
- 41:32Speaker 1: It's a lot harder to survive than you would think.
- 41:34Speaker 1: This guy fucking kills a moose, a giant moose, and
- 41:38Speaker 1: because some wolverine stole his can of fat, he started
- 41:44Speaker 1: to trip out because the he was just eating nothing
- 41:47Speaker 1: but protein. He had hell of meat to eat. But
- 41:50Speaker 1: after a certain amount of time, you have to feed
- 41:52Speaker 1: your your body something to burn. Carbohydrates are protein or
- 41:55Speaker 1: carbohydrates are fat. Rather, and he had no fat and
- 41:59Speaker 1: so he started like hallucinating and and it was crazy
- 42:03Speaker 1: because you would think, oh, this guy killed a moose,
- 42:05Speaker 1: he's gonna be able to eat as long as he
- 42:06Speaker 1: was he's chilling. But that didn't happen because some Wolverene
- 42:09Speaker 1: was getting up in the shit. How do you mark
- 42:11Speaker 1: a moose? A what a fucking arrow? Oh yeah, but
- 42:15Speaker 1: this motherfucker Robin Hood that bitch, which is crazy, super crazy. Uh.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Another thing, Uh, I remember one dog I just finished
- 42:28Speaker 1: Dave actually, oh Dave, of course. Yeah, Dave's an obvious one.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Dave is hilarious. Go watch Dave thank us later. Incredible.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Low Dicky, Little Dicky is a fucking comedic genius. Comedic genius.
- 42:40Speaker 1: His videos have been fire. Now music not so much.
- 42:45Speaker 1: He's got some joints, but most of his music only
- 42:49Speaker 1: is dope if you're watching the music video. Yeah, so
- 42:52Speaker 1: shout out to Little Dickie deserves all of the fucking
- 42:56Speaker 1: praise that he's getting. Also, shout out to the sponsor
- 42:59Speaker 1: of the pot cast, Vapin. You know what I'm saying.

- 43:34Speaker 1: Head podcast. We appreciate it, all right, A couple more
- 43:37Speaker 1: things before we wrap this up. We this is Pop
- 43:42Speaker 1: Smoke's album came out a couple hours ago, So let's
- 43:45Speaker 1: just touch on the Pop Smoke album real quick. I
- 43:48Speaker 1: listened to it just one again, one listen, and I'm
- 43:52Speaker 1: a I'm a huge Popsmoke fan, and he was a
- 43:55Speaker 1: close homie of mine, and I feel like it was
- 44:00Speaker 1: essentially what I thought it was gonna be. It's hard
- 44:03Speaker 1: to put together an album after someone dies and it
- 44:06Speaker 1: be better than the stuff that they had probably put
- 44:08Speaker 1: out previously. With that being said, there are some songs
- 44:12Speaker 1: on here that have the potential to be huge hit records.
- 44:17Speaker 1: The WU record with Roddy Rich and fifty shout out
- 44:21Speaker 1: to Quavo, who just had three features on this album.
- 44:25Speaker 1: You don't think that's overdoing it though, I think for me,
- 44:29Speaker 1: I think what happened was I think you kind of
- 44:31Speaker 1: pointed this out off the podcast. Quavo and him probably
- 44:35Speaker 1: got in and I know they fucked with each other
- 44:37Speaker 1: because Quavo was on his last project one of my
- 44:39Speaker 1: favorite pop smoke songs ever that Shake the Room. And
- 44:42Speaker 1: I just think that they just has a bunch of
- 44:44Speaker 1: records that they did together, and when someone passes away untimely,
- 44:49Speaker 1: you got to figure out a way to put those
- 44:50Speaker 1: out because you're not. Your selection of songs that you
- 44:54Speaker 1: have to choose from is a whole lot less than
- 44:57Speaker 1: if somebody was alive. And I think they did a
- 44:59Speaker 1: good job, uh of putting it together. Obviously you could
- 45:02Speaker 1: tell the Little Baby and the Baby's features were done
- 45:05Speaker 1: after he passed because they shout out him, you know,
- 45:07Speaker 1: passing away. I love the Gangster record. I love the
- 45:12Speaker 1: I think the the outro was fire. I enjoyed the album.
- 45:18Speaker 1: I think that it was, but it wasn't. I I
- 45:20Speaker 1: prefer Meet the Woo too, but it wasn't like I
- 45:24Speaker 1: expected it to like be his best body of work
- 45:29Speaker 1: because it's he didn't get the crafted himself. Yeah, I mean,
- 45:32Speaker 1: I'm sure a lot of it though he was really
- 45:34Speaker 1: active in the studio, so a lot of these records,
- 45:36Speaker 1: I'm sure the bones and and and a lot of
- 45:37Speaker 1: the house was there, you know what I'm saying. But
- 45:39Speaker 1: at the same time, you know, it's it's an it's
- 45:42Speaker 1: it's it's you're in a tough position to put together
- 45:44Speaker 1: an album when someone passes away, and I think they
- 45:46Speaker 1: did a good job. So I'm happy with it for
- 45:49Speaker 1: for what it is. And I think there's some records
- 45:53Speaker 1: on here that can be very big for the Homie Pops,
- 45:55Speaker 1: Smoke and Yeah, I feel like all the ones towards
- 45:58Speaker 1: the back with the sample, they're gonna do very well.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I wasn't a fan of the back end, not that
- 46:04Speaker 1: I love the last two songs because the last song
- 46:06Speaker 1: or the last second the last song was the Many
- 46:08Speaker 1: Men's sample and the outro was fire. But it feels
- 46:11Speaker 1: it felt like there was like a three or four
- 46:13Speaker 1: song stretch that was like strictly for chicks. I wasn't
- 46:17Speaker 1: feeling that little TJ joint the Moose wings, but uh, Diana,
- 46:22Speaker 1: I think that's gonna be a smash man. Yeah, I listen, man,
- 46:25Speaker 1: there's some joints on here that are fucking dope, so
- 46:29Speaker 1: shout out to pop Smoke. I think the album is solid,
- 46:31Speaker 1: and I think they they actually ended up fixing the
- 46:34Speaker 1: artwork problem. I like the artwork. It's simple. There's nothing
- 46:38Speaker 1: you can say about it. It's a metal, fucking rose,
- 46:40Speaker 1: It's super simple. It was too safe for me, though,
- 46:43Speaker 1: I felt like they had to make it too safe
- 46:45Speaker 1: after all the fucking outrage. They fucking tried to get creative.
- 46:49Speaker 1: And Virgil. Listen, man, Virgil is a fucking allegend himself.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Right now, nobody is a legend, so Virgil is a
- 47:02Speaker 1: fucking legend. Let's get that clear, right, Virgil is a legend.
- 47:06Speaker 1: I think he kind of got a bad rap over
- 47:11Speaker 1: the fifty dollars donation. He's never gonna live that down.
- 47:15Speaker 1: I mean, keep it to Virgils, you feel me. With
- 47:17Speaker 1: that being said, I think the artwork for the album
- 47:21Speaker 1: was it's clean but unmemorable. No, I mean the old artwork.
- 47:28Speaker 1: I think it was atrocious. See I do almost rather
- 47:30Speaker 1: have that because that's that's at least something. It was terrible,
- 47:33Speaker 1: but I remember that this is gonna be like I
- 47:36Speaker 1: was trying to think about it in compared to something,
- 47:38Speaker 1: What does Drake's Scorpion album look like? It's a picture
- 47:42Speaker 1: of Drake in black and white, but it's just it's
- 47:46Speaker 1: boring like that. Like, you know, listen, when you get
- 47:50Speaker 1: social media outrage, the motherfucker's trying to cancel people over
- 47:53Speaker 1: a fucking album cover. This is what you get. You
- 47:57Speaker 1: get a basic ass cover. It's a safe cover. Nobody's
- 48:00Speaker 1: gonna say shit about it. You might be like I
- 48:03Speaker 1: wish it would have been more, but you ain't gonna
- 48:04Speaker 1: be like it was trash, So you know, I also think,
- 48:11Speaker 1: you know, like you said, man, Virgil is in a
- 48:13Speaker 1: weird place. He's shooting out for two during the quarantine.
- 48:17Speaker 1: I also don't think, for the record, I don't think
- 48:19Speaker 1: graphic design is necessarily his forte. Graphic design is his passion,
- 48:24Speaker 1: but I don't think it's his forte. I think clothing design, branding,
- 48:30Speaker 1: but I don't think you put him in front of
- 48:31Speaker 1: a computer with photoshop, and I don't's album. Yeah, that
- 48:39Speaker 1: shit was fire, it was, but I but I don't think.
- 48:42Speaker 1: I don't know dude, I just don't see it. Well. No,
- 48:46Speaker 1: First of all, Uzzi's album, what's uosy album? Are you
- 48:50Speaker 1: talking about the original not the deluxe? Because the original
- 48:53Speaker 1: ma Hoomie Gibson Hazard did let me see. Yeah, I
- 48:58Speaker 1: don't know which Uzi album you're talking about, but the
- 49:00Speaker 1: original Uzi album that came out this year where he's
- 49:03Speaker 1: like sitting on us on like it's like people standing
- 49:06Speaker 1: on a planet, that's Gibson Hazard. He did that album cover.
- 49:14Speaker 1: So I don't know, I don't know if you're talking
- 49:15Speaker 1: about me. Uh, the deluxe let me see the Eternal
- 49:20Speaker 1: take Deluxe, that's just to take off of his old ship.
- 49:26Speaker 1: It's just a little oozy versus the World mash remix.
- 49:29Speaker 1: But the Eternal will take cover this one. Oh Love
- 49:33Speaker 1: is Rage two? Yeah, that one wasn't bad. It's there
- 49:39Speaker 1: was a lot of thought in that one, but you
- 49:40Speaker 1: know what it was, It just looks it also looks
- 49:43Speaker 1: like an off the back of an Off White T shirt. Yeah,
- 49:47Speaker 1: but show that kind of energy on the album right
- 49:49Speaker 1: at least, Like, I just think that ship has played
- 49:51Speaker 1: all that. I just think that Off White ship is
- 49:55Speaker 1: played just to me and but that's his brand. But
- 49:59Speaker 1: nobody want to see off white tape on a fucking
- 50:01Speaker 1: pop smoke album cover. I'm not saying it take you
- 50:04Speaker 1: that level. But do you think if you put, if
- 50:06Speaker 1: you put, if you do you think if you put
- 50:08Speaker 1: Virgil in front of photoshop you'd create brilliance? No? Well,
- 50:13Speaker 1: we saw what happens when you put Virgil in front
- 50:15Speaker 1: of photoshop. I just think Virgil's got a team that
- 50:17Speaker 1: he can explain his vision to. But then again, I'm
- 50:20Speaker 1: not speaking from any point of knowledge. I'm just speculating.
- 50:23Speaker 1: So Virgil is a legend. Pop smoke album is solid.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Still listening to the Freddy Gibbs album, still listening to
- 50:33Speaker 1: Run of the Jewels, listening to Marlin Kraft, listening to
- 50:39Speaker 1: this dude named Grip Who's Fire? You listened to that
- 50:43Speaker 1: Royce's album a lot too? The Royces album has still
- 50:46Speaker 1: got a lot of replay. Love h Westside Gunn just
- 50:50Speaker 1: put out his second album in three four months, and
- 50:53Speaker 1: I just looked at I started to play it and
- 50:56Speaker 1: I noticed it has a lot of skits, So it
- 50:58Speaker 1: just kind of seems like, uh, you know, it's probably
- 51:01Speaker 1: like eight real songs. But I haven't I haven't listened
- 51:04Speaker 1: to it. So I'm excited to listen to the Westside
- 51:06Speaker 1: Gun album and outside of that, two K drop their covers,
- 51:15Speaker 1: which is I'm just I just can't believe that they're
- 51:17Speaker 1: already promoting the new two K and the season hasn't
- 51:19Speaker 1: even ended. It's just the normal cycle though, Doug, like
- 51:22Speaker 1: they're just slowing down video game production. Is NBA two
- 51:26Speaker 1: K gonna release while the season is still going on?
- 51:31Speaker 1: I believe so, Doug, Well, that's crazy, because what are
- 51:33Speaker 1: you supposed to do with the rosters? They just do
- 51:34Speaker 1: an update. They're just gonna do update later. Yeah, yeah,
- 51:38Speaker 1: well listen the covers are as follows. The new generation
- 51:42Speaker 1: consoles will get Zion the PlayStation five. What's the Xbox
- 51:46Speaker 1: called Xbox one series or Xbox Series X. See, that's
- 51:51Speaker 1: a terrible name. Xbox already fucked up. That's just too much.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Why it's gonna be Xbox Series S. Why can't you
- 51:58Speaker 1: just call it the Xbox twenty, Xbox four, Xbox four
- 52:03Speaker 1: fire that's it, or like Xbox Series X. Well, then yeah,
- 52:12Speaker 1: it's too much. A PlayStation five bro ps five simple.
- 52:18Speaker 1: I'm buying the PlayStation off the strength, just cuz looking
- 52:21Speaker 1: Nintendo though, Nintendo switched it up every time. They've never
- 52:24Speaker 1: came out with the two. Yeah, but they've all I mean,
- 52:27Speaker 1: people can differentiate. Yeah, but they they're not competing in
- 52:31Speaker 1: the PlayStation. Oh they're dominating them, not over, not in totality. No,
- 52:39Speaker 1: right now they are though, No, right now, more people
- 52:41Speaker 1: are buying switches because people have had PlayStation fours for
- 52:43Speaker 1: fucking eight years. But what I'm saying is, get at
- 52:46Speaker 1: me if you need to switch. What I'm saying is
- 52:49Speaker 1: there's no competition between people who buy switches also have PlayStations,
- 52:56Speaker 1: or they or they or they would never buy a
- 52:58Speaker 1: PlayStation anyway. It's for it's kids, or it's like you
- 53:03Speaker 1: know what, I don't know. I like my switch. You
- 53:07Speaker 1: love your switch, love my switch. So yeah, Xbox is
- 53:11Speaker 1: either or Xbox most of the time. Play You're not
- 53:16Speaker 1: doing both right, Xbox to me, low key might be
- 53:19Speaker 1: a better system right now. It is with game pass.
- 53:23Speaker 1: If you got that Xbox game pass, fam, that shit
- 53:27Speaker 1: is fire. And I got both. For the record, I
- 53:30Speaker 1: got both, and that Xbox game Pass is a game changer,
- 53:33Speaker 1: so I probably end up buying both again. But nonetheless,
- 53:37Speaker 1: if you buy the PlayStation five or Xbox whatever the
- 53:40Speaker 1: fuck version of two. K Zion Williamson will be on
- 53:44Speaker 1: the cover. If you buy the PlayStation four or or
- 53:48Speaker 1: Xbox one standard edition, Damian Lillard Dame Dalla will be
- 53:54Speaker 1: on the cover. Low Love Finally Special Yes, special Edition.
- 54:00Speaker 1: We'll have Kobe Bryant Mamba Forever Edition. So it's a
- 54:04Speaker 1: triple edition, triple cover. The biggest news that came out
- 54:11Speaker 1: today was that the next generation is getting bumped up
- 54:14Speaker 1: ten dollars. Oh yeah, sixty nine ninety nine. So they
- 54:18Speaker 1: they're saying that's gonna be the price for all games
- 54:20Speaker 1: going forward, So all games on PlayStation five, Well that'll
- 54:23Speaker 1: be until they fully phase out the PlayStation four, then
- 54:26Speaker 1: it'll drop. You think, so, yeah, I think it's time
- 54:29Speaker 1: because think about how long it's been a sixty dollars. Like,
- 54:31Speaker 1: everything goes up over time, it just doesn't stay at
- 54:34Speaker 1: the same price. Ever, Listen, what are you buying first,
- 54:38Speaker 1: the PlayStation five or the Xbox series X. I'm waiting
- 54:42Speaker 1: on the games. You gotta go with the PlayStation blindly
- 54:44Speaker 1: before the games. What are you going with blindly? Xbox?
- 54:48Speaker 1: Is time because they flip flop every generation. First PlayStation two,
- 54:53Speaker 1: kill Xbox PlayStation three lost to three sixty. I disagree fully.
- 54:58Speaker 1: There was the three sixty at the Red Ring at Death.
- 55:00Speaker 1: What the fuck are you talking about? Yeah? But na
- 55:02Speaker 1: it dominated in sales like it had all the game had.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Halo had Gears of War. Yeah, but it had the
- 55:07Speaker 1: Red Ring of Death. I'm talking hardware. It was a
- 55:10Speaker 1: piece of shit. It was. Yeah. Besides the Red Ring
- 55:13Speaker 1: of Death is bro I went through three of them
- 55:16Speaker 1: me too, Doug. Fuck that fuck Xbox it was it
- 55:20Speaker 1: had a better library. I'm going with PlayStation. The only
- 55:23Speaker 1: reason PlayStation three so well is because it had a
- 55:25Speaker 1: Blu Ray Player in it. I'm fucking with PlayStation. I'm
- 55:29Speaker 1: going with the PlayStation. I'm calling it right now, Doug.
- 55:32Speaker 1: You'll be wrong, sir. No. But back to the covers,
- 55:36Speaker 1: so I think it's super. First of all, my kid
- 55:39Speaker 1: is extremely pissed off that uh Zion has the cover.
- 55:45Speaker 1: I don't know why. My son's got some sort of
- 55:48Speaker 1: I don't know. He ain't fucking with Zion yet. He's like,
- 55:50Speaker 1: he's only played nineteen games, how does he deserve to
- 55:52Speaker 1: be on the cover. I'm like, I feel you. It's
- 55:56Speaker 1: clear to see it, though, But he's also one of
- 55:58Speaker 1: the most biggest name in the NBA, now I would
- 56:01Speaker 1: like it or not. And then he told me before
- 56:05Speaker 1: they announced Damian Lillard, he wanted to see Damian Lillard
- 56:07Speaker 1: on the cover and I told him, Damian Lillard don't
- 56:11Speaker 1: sell nothing. Who do you want to see your boy,
- 56:15Speaker 1: Luca nah I said, Zion makes sense. Oh yeah, he'll
- 56:20Speaker 1: move units. If we're looking at it from the scope
- 56:24Speaker 1: of who will move units, boy, you better put Zion
- 56:27Speaker 1: on that motherfucker, or even somebody who nobody fucks with.
- 56:34Speaker 1: But you put Kawhi on that, bitch. I don't think
- 56:38Speaker 1: Kawhi is moving units more than Damian Lillard. Nobody fucks
- 56:44Speaker 1: with the Blazers. Hey, you can have it the fun
- 56:46Speaker 1: Guy edition. That'd be fire exactly. And he plays in
- 56:50Speaker 1: LA That's real shit. Kawhi needs some love, but fuck him.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Fuck Kawhi. I'm not a Kawhi guy. You're a Laker guy. Now. No,
- 57:05Speaker 1: I'm a Lebron guy, So fuck Kawhi Leonard. But he
- 57:10Speaker 1: should have. I mean, I think it's dope. Damian Lillard
- 57:12Speaker 1: is one of them. I think Damian Lillard is the
- 57:14Speaker 1: best point guard in the NBA, pure point guard. Now,
- 57:17Speaker 1: if you start counting. You know, Luka, Doncic or Lebron
- 57:22Speaker 1: or Kevin James, James Harden. You know there's other players
- 57:28Speaker 1: that you could say are a point guard quote unquote
- 57:31Speaker 1: that I would take over Dame. But if we're talking
- 57:34Speaker 1: straight up Dame I'm talking about right now, it's Dame. Absolutely.
- 57:41Speaker 1: I put him over Kyrie. I put him over Steph.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Steph's out. Kyrie's been a fucking cancer Kyrie, He's I
- 57:49Speaker 1: don't know what to make a Kyrie. I think when
- 57:50Speaker 1: Kyrie's on it, though, he is the best in the
- 57:52Speaker 1: game when he's focused. Yeah, but that was like the
- 57:56Speaker 1: last time he was the best. Well, dude, listen, I
- 58:02Speaker 1: agree with you, but it's hard to argue when somebody's
- 58:05Speaker 1: quote unquote on it that it's not Steph Curry fair.
- 58:10Speaker 1: I don't want to admit it, but the motherfucker won
- 58:12Speaker 1: two MVPs. Bro. I can't stand his bitch ass. I
- 58:17Speaker 1: haven't seen it from him late, I mean obviously not lately.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Fuck Steph Curry. I don't fuck with him, and his
- 58:23Speaker 1: wife is annoying. Now, what do you think about this
- 58:27Speaker 1: second bubble they're talking about. I think it's pointless and
- 58:30Speaker 1: it's a money grab, that's all it is. What I mean,
- 58:32Speaker 1: it's all for money. It's because all those teams want
- 58:36Speaker 1: their NBA t or their TV money. Still, that's all
- 58:39Speaker 1: it is. It's fucking money. And I guarantee you if
- 58:43Speaker 1: they end up taking the bottom eight teams and putting
- 58:45Speaker 1: them in Chicago for a bubble, I guarantee you half
- 58:49Speaker 1: of those players on half of the on those teams
- 58:51Speaker 1: will not show up unless they unless they also want
- 58:56Speaker 1: to get more paychecks. Because it's a money play for
- 58:59Speaker 1: the players too. Yeah, the players might want to be like, hey, look,
- 59:02Speaker 1: I gotta finish out this season to get the rest
- 59:04Speaker 1: of my salary for this year. We're talking about of
- 59:06Speaker 1: the roster players. We're talking millions of dollars. Yes, sir so.
- 59:11Speaker 1: But I do think you know, it's gonna be weird though,
- 59:15Speaker 1: because like those bottom teams are usually fun to see
- 59:18Speaker 1: the tanking, Well, I was, I would like to see, uh,
- 59:22Speaker 1: Trey Young versus Steph Curry. Is Crary gonna be back? Yeah?
- 59:27Speaker 1: I think he's good. Now, I don't know. I think, uh,
- 59:32Speaker 1: this is about to be the weirdest finale and I
- 59:35Speaker 1: can't wait to go to Las Vegas. I'm gonna I'm
- 59:38Speaker 1: gonna probably get an airbnb in Vegas for like two
- 59:41Speaker 1: fucking weeks. It ain't happening, don I'm sorry to tell
- 59:46Speaker 1: you Vegas gonna be shut down by the time the season. Nope, Nope,
- 59:49Speaker 1: the sports books will be open this Listen, there's no
- 59:54Speaker 1: way that they close the fucking sports books when NBA
- 59:56Speaker 1: comes back. Listen to me, I'm gonna be in fucking Vegas.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna be a round cigarette smoke, I'm gonna be eating,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna cheat on my diet, I'm gonna drink all
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: kinds of crazy shit I'm gonna do. I'm coming with you,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: and I'm gonna watch basketball, and I'm gonna give away
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: my money. I'm gonna be making money. Well that's the plan, right,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: but shit, this bro, this whole bubble shit gambling wise,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: you're gonna walk into the motherfucking casino and think you
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: know what the fuck's about to happen, and get real surprise,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: real quick, because some of these motherfuckers are fat. Broad
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Zion Williamson is chiseled now dog, He's lost so much
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: weight and gained muscle. I don't recognize him. Bruh. Zion's
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: about to be a fucking monster. That's what I wanted
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: to see that. I know he's the next thing, but
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I was a little skeptical because he's got a lot
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: of baby fat on him. Bro Nicola Jokic, whatever the
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: fuck Jokic, Joker looks like a different guy. Meanwhile, Luke,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I heard got fat as fuck. Yeah, so listen, I
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: think NBA season is gonna be unpredictable. Bro. Also, a
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: team like the seventy six ers who are fully healthy. Finally,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: this whole entire time off might benefit them. You don't
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: know who's gonna play in the first place. A lot
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: of these players don't want to jeopardize their career for
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: half a season. No, no, no, no, not everybody's playing
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: some people. Some people won't play like that don't matter.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Spencer Dinwitty, he got the rona, so he's out. The
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: nets are fucked. Their whole team is pretty much depleted. Nah.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Now he said he's not going, So there's no no Dinwitty,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: there's no h DeAndre Jordan. I think I think Karris
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Lavert's out. No KD, no Kyrie. That team's fucked. The
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Lakers are going to have an interesting time if Dwight
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: doesn't come, because Dwight is a fu fucking whether you
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: like it or not, he's a nice piece off the bench.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: If I had to put my money on anybody to win, though,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: if I had to put my money on it, you're
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: still going Lakers. I see a little fanboy, I'm going Bucks.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: That's the smart call. If I had to put my money,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: my real money, I put the I put my money
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: on the Bucks. But the Lakers are second place. Fuck
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: the Clippers. I'm putting Clippers too, Fuck them the Clippers.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Fuck off. That's the finals right there, Doug. And you
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: know it? What Lakers Clippers? Yep? I mean shit, that'd
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: be crazy, but it can't be the finals nonetheless. Uh
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: some a little bit of basketball talk, a little bit
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: of video game talk, a little bit of TV and
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: movie talk, some jay Z talk, pop Smoke's album. Shout
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: out to Uh, Jada and fab for having in a
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: very entertaining battle. Fabulous or Fabulous lost. Jada won. Jada
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: won a closer than that. Oh yeah, me too. I
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: thought I thought fab was gonna If I had to bet,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I don't think no, no, no no, no no. I remember
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: when I thought about it. And I started thinking about
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Jada got real ass records with Biggie, So it's like
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Jays like he's got reservoir dogs. He wrote, he wrote
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: victory for Bruh. So I remember when I had that
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: conversation with my homie Ron it was I was like
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: his kiss got gonna have the wild cards that fab
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: can't counter. And it worked out and then Jada won
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: the memes Brouh hands down, that motherfucker was faded. Was
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: lit fucking faded anyway, Wrapping up the podcast, shout out
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: to my boy Whcheckx, who no one cares about except me.

- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Uh well, I'm gonna try to have you back on
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: once a week. We're kind of stealing what Bill Simmons does.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Bill Simmons is probably our top two or three favorite podcaster,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: The Podfather, the Podfather, and Bill Simmons always has his
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: best friend, well two of his best friends on JACKO
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: and what's the other guy's name? Now I'm drawing the blank. Though.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: He's got his own podcast about food. What's it called
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: The car Carb House? Oh? Jack o inin House Joe House. Yeah,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: so you're like my Joe House. You fuck. Cheers Buddy,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Cheers Buddy. That is the wrap of the third episode
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: of the Bootleg Heap podcast. If you're listening right now,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Mazzi Uh Mazzi interview will drop on Monday and a
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: new interw The Mazzi interview is something I recorded like
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: a month and a half ago when Mazzi dropped his album,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: and I have COVID nineteen, so I'm trying to do
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: as much of these interviews in person as possible. So
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: it's a little tough to do that right now because
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: bitch I got COVID, so I feel better though I
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: think I'm I think I'm past it. I'm gonna try
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: to get retested tomorrow, but Mazzi on Monday, I might
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: do a two fur though I might do a Mazie
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: and a Dre London episode. I recorded a Dre London
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: interview like a year and a half ago when I
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: thought that I was launching this podcast, and I might
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: as well throw it out there, don't you think. Yeah,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: archives out to that Rona clears up. Yeah, make drop
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: a little double, a little double, like a little double
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: disc on a Monday. Drop that blueprint too. Nah, it
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: ain't that good, But I'm saying it's something that I
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: think even though a lot of the post malone stuff
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: we talked about Drey London's post Molones manager is a
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: little dated, it's still there's a lot to get from
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: the podcast, a lot of information, a lot of advice
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: stuff that people can apply, and I think it's you know,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: I'll probably just do a little two for I won't
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: put the video out of the Drey London. I have
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: the video, but I won't put the video out. I'll
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: just drop it as an audio guy. I don't know.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Maybe I will do the video video. There's no yeah,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I don't know. We won't have any vapor in the video,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: just like that salute to vapor. Presenting the Bootleg Kit podcast.
