- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, let's get into it. It's been an eventful month. Yes,
- 0:05Speaker 1: it's been an eventful month, from the Atlanta mayor situation
- 0:09Speaker 1: to invest Fest to post invest Fest and here we are.
- 0:14Speaker 1: So we're not going to drag this out too long,
- 0:18Speaker 1: but it's important to actually have We're gonna break this
- 0:21Speaker 1: down surgical for the audience because it's really important for
- 0:26Speaker 1: people to understand, and we're gonna have a whole dialogue
- 0:29Speaker 1: about this. So let's talk about invest Fest. Right, invest Fest,
- 0:36Speaker 1: there would be no investment invest FST wouldn't be possible
- 0:39Speaker 1: without Troy. He's added so much value without Mike ab
- 0:45Speaker 1: I and Dunlap, matc Garland, nineteen Keys. There's people that
- 0:55Speaker 1: if it wasn't for those people, there would be knowing
- 1:00Speaker 1: invest Fest wouldn't happen, right, it wouldn't happen at all.
- 1:04Speaker 1: You would you would There would never be an Investmentst
- 1:06Speaker 1: if it wasn't for the people that I just named
- 1:08Speaker 1: in other people as well. But for me, investments is
- 1:13Speaker 1: a little different because everybody has their own relationship with
- 1:16Speaker 1: invest us. Invest FST is something that is my idea, right,
- 1:23Speaker 1: So it's a little different when you come up with
- 1:26Speaker 1: an idea in your head and six years later it's
- 1:30Speaker 1: thirty thousand people. That's a feeling that very few people
- 1:37Speaker 1: could probably understand. Right, So you you you carry it
- 1:43Speaker 1: a little differently. And you know, I've heard people say, like, yo,
- 1:46Speaker 1: Rishad's crazy potentially, but you but you got to be
- 1:51Speaker 1: crazy to think that what you think in your head
- 1:55Speaker 1: six years later can be a stadium with no outside funding,
- 2:02Speaker 1: with no sponsorships, with no relationships, with no connections, with
- 2:05Speaker 1: no political relationship, just the empowerment of the people and
- 2:11Speaker 1: the support of everybody that's working day in and day out.
- 2:15Speaker 1: So when investments invest Fest really a label love. That's
- 2:19Speaker 1: what people don't really fully understand. Like we promote invest
- 2:22Speaker 1: fast for one year, we already planning for next year.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Now we promoted for a year, we work on it
- 2:27Speaker 1: for a year. This is all us. Don't take outside capital.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Everything you see is us. So from a financial standpoint,
- 2:37Speaker 1: this is important for people to understand. It makes no
- 2:39Speaker 1: sense for us to do invest us. It's a loss
- 2:42Speaker 1: leader the amount of money that we make from invest Fest.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Right to be candid, because market mondays, I owe you
- 2:48Speaker 1: guys a conversation because you are actually family. Yeah, me personally,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I made more money on one Micron call than what
- 2:58Speaker 1: I made for investments ten thousand hours. By the way,
- 3:02Speaker 1: all of the mental no, but it's important for people
- 3:06Speaker 1: to understand we don't make we don't We're not making
- 3:08Speaker 1: no money on invest Fest because it's a narrative that well,
- 3:13Speaker 1: you guys are just doing it. It's a grift, it's
- 3:15Speaker 1: a money grabs it. There's a lot more easier ways
- 3:18Speaker 1: for us to make money. We know how to make money.
- 3:21Speaker 1: There's a lot more easier ways for us to make
- 3:24Speaker 1: money online or just through stock investing, stock trading, then
- 3:30Speaker 1: literally doing something for a year with little to no return.
- 3:36Speaker 1: This is just a fact, right. But you know who
- 3:39Speaker 1: does benefit from invest Fest. The one hundred speakers that's
- 3:43Speaker 1: put on stage, that's spoken, that's speak in front of
- 3:45Speaker 1: people that they've never had the opportunity to the largest
- 3:47Speaker 1: crowd that they ever had in their whole entire life.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Four hundred vendors that come to invest Fest that sell
- 3:52Speaker 1: their products with no commission, thirty food trucks that sell it,
- 3:56Speaker 1: that sell it food for the whole entire weekend of
- 3:58Speaker 1: thirty thousand people with no commisit the hospitality club owners
- 4:03Speaker 1: restaurant tours, the uber drivers, the event plan is, the security,
- 4:09Speaker 1: the hotel staff, you name it. It's obvious that as
- 4:13Speaker 1: an economic impact, it's thirty thousand people. Obviously, thirty thousand
- 4:16Speaker 1: people that come from Atlanta. If you was at Investments,
- 4:18Speaker 1: you met people from all over the world, and how
- 4:21Speaker 1: they do how they measure events is per day. So
- 4:26Speaker 1: thirty thousand people is really ninety thousand people. That's a
- 4:29Speaker 1: ninety thousand person event, right, So why am I saying this.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'm saying this to say this, should it hit a
- 4:38Speaker 1: little differently. When you're doing all of this, you're not
- 4:43Speaker 1: really making no money. It's a laborer love. You discount tickets,
- 4:47Speaker 1: you give tickets away, you discount venda booths, you give
- 4:51Speaker 1: venda booths away, and you have to hear shit for
- 4:55Speaker 1: eight weeks about how it's a scam, about how we
- 5:00Speaker 1: promote scammers. The day before invest Fest, there's a post
- 5:04Speaker 1: that goes viral about the top ten scammers that spoke
- 5:07Speaker 1: at invest Fest. Nobody even took the nobody even took
- 5:11Speaker 1: the time to even research that Half of that list
- 5:14Speaker 1: never even stepped foot and invest Fest ever, five people
- 5:18Speaker 1: never even came to invest Fest. Ever that's on the
- 5:21Speaker 1: top ten invest FST speaker list. Two of those, two
- 5:24Speaker 1: of those people, I have no idea why they even.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Why is Pinky Cole a scammer? Because she didn't succeed
- 5:30Speaker 1: in business? She did succeed, she had one hundred million
- 5:32Speaker 1: dollar valuation. It's ups and downs. How who does she scam?
- 5:37Speaker 1: Rick Ross? So you have one person that spoke on
- 5:40Speaker 1: a podcast stage and then you have another person. I'm sorry,
- 5:44Speaker 1: what Mick Mill say? Lock them up? If he ain't perfect?
- 5:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry. We had we have four hundred speakers throughout
- 5:50Speaker 1: invest fast history, and we had two people that are
- 5:53Speaker 1: now in federal indictments. Is that my fault? Is that
- 5:59Speaker 1: choice fault? Oh you didn't properly vet? How could you
- 6:01Speaker 1: properly vet somebody that did something after the fact? But
- 6:05Speaker 1: you ain't talk about three hundred and ninety eight people
- 6:07Speaker 1: that we gave an opportunity to that we helped change
- 6:09Speaker 1: their life. But accountability is very important. So I'm gonna
- 6:16Speaker 1: get to that. But I wanted to paint the full
- 6:18Speaker 1: picture because when you when you win, in you a
- 6:22Speaker 1: winner always feel like he losing. So to me, it
- 6:24Speaker 1: don't feel like a win. People like Yo, you just
- 6:26Speaker 1: came off invest Fest. The narrative should be thirty thousand people,
- 6:29Speaker 1: and you're right, But it hit me a little different
- 6:32Speaker 1: when I know, I know the work that we all
- 6:34Speaker 1: put in to help people, to help black people, and
- 6:39Speaker 1: to see negativity left and right on my timeline and
- 6:42Speaker 1: people talking about Yo, I met this person that invest
- 6:44Speaker 1: fst and they took my website. Now we're responsible for
- 6:47Speaker 1: atten D's also, and to see people and then I'm
- 6:50Speaker 1: seeing people in the comments that I know personally that
- 6:53Speaker 1: we helped, that we that that we put on the
- 6:57Speaker 1: show Champion, like the narratives like that at invest Fest
- 7:03Speaker 1: the day before invest Fest. It bothers me on a
- 7:06Speaker 1: different level. And it's human nature. You know, you got
- 7:10Speaker 1: a hundred people that say that they love you, the
- 7:12Speaker 1: one person that comes up and says that he hates you,
- 7:15Speaker 1: it's going to have a more vitrio response than one
- 7:18Speaker 1: hundred people that tell you that they love you. But
- 7:20Speaker 1: that doesn't make it right. So the accountability is this,
- 7:23Speaker 1: No matter how much hate we get, I know that
- 7:25Speaker 1: the love is ten times more. And that's my fault
- 7:28Speaker 1: for focusing on negativity over positivity. So for this community,
- 7:34Speaker 1: because I'm not talking to social media. I'm talking to
- 7:37Speaker 1: the people that's been rocking with us from the beginning.
- 7:39Speaker 1: That's market mondays. How it came out from the clip
- 7:45Speaker 1: very insensitive, and I know that it could be hurtful
- 7:48Speaker 1: to somebody that's like, damn, I've been riding with y'all
- 7:50Speaker 1: from the beginning, and how could you say this? So
- 7:53Speaker 1: I understand how people could have taken that, And I
- 7:57Speaker 1: really do want to say that if I hurt you
- 8:01Speaker 1: in that commentary, I truly am sorry for that, because
- 8:04Speaker 1: that wasn't that's what that wasn't what it was for,
- 8:06Speaker 1: and that's not it's not who is directed to. And
- 8:09Speaker 1: like I said, that's something that I should do a
- 8:11Speaker 1: better job of focusing on the love. But it, like
- 8:13Speaker 1: I said, it's just it hit a little different when
- 8:16Speaker 1: you built it, like and it's like everybody's got commentary,
- 8:19Speaker 1: but it's like it's a little different because we didn't
- 8:22Speaker 1: raise money, so we don't we don't take money. We
- 8:25Speaker 1: make money, so everything that we put is on the line,
- 8:29Speaker 1: so it's a little different when you put your own
- 8:32Speaker 1: money on the line. We don't raise no money, we
- 8:35Speaker 1: don't have outside investors, we ain't crowd fund for no money.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I'm not knocking nobody that does that, but I'm just
- 8:41Speaker 1: saying you, you you're gonna fight a little different for
- 8:44Speaker 1: your shit when it's your child, when it's your child
- 8:48Speaker 1: on trial, You're gonna fight a little different for it
- 8:50Speaker 1: because you know that you built that from nothing impossible
- 8:52Speaker 1: for you. It could never happen again. It could never
- 8:54Speaker 1: happen again when we had two cell phones and we
- 8:57Speaker 1: and we in a basement. Eight years later, we we
- 9:00Speaker 1: got thirty thousand people, and we never took money, and
- 9:04Speaker 1: we never had no real financing behind us, and we
- 9:08Speaker 1: never had no political connect and we never had no
- 9:10Speaker 1: real sponsorship. It's a little different. So when somebody tried
- 9:14Speaker 1: to tear that down for no reason, it hits you
- 9:17Speaker 1: a little different. And and and and that's my frustration.
