- 0:28Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:33Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Mallley along with
- 0:37Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma on Thursday, November twenty one,
- 0:42Speaker 1: twenty twenty four. Happy Thursday, Tray, Happy Thursday, Dan, Happy Thursday.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Raj, Happy Thursday. Dan.
- 0:52Speaker 1: The story that just will not die is the Tyson
- 0:57Speaker 1: versus Paul fight. And you know what, for once, I'm
- 1:00Speaker 1: okay to beat a dead horse repeatedly over the years,
- 1:03Speaker 1: I got pretty tired of it. After a while, I
- 1:06Speaker 1: started to feel like the horse. But with the Tyson
- 1:10Speaker 1: Paul fight, I'm okay with it. And we talked about
- 1:14Speaker 1: it this week about how the conspiracy theories have started
- 1:21Speaker 1: rolling in about whether the fight was fixed, rigged, whatever,
- 1:26Speaker 1: And after doing a deeper dive of social media analysis
- 1:34Speaker 1: and some brutal self reflection, I have come to the
- 1:39Speaker 1: conclusion that the fight was in fact rigged. And I
- 1:43Speaker 1: am not alone. And I would like to point out
- 1:46Speaker 1: this is outside of my normal realm because Raj, you
- 1:50Speaker 1: are the conspiracy theorist on the show.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Frank, I'm glad to welcome you aboard.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Only in certain instances. In this one I'm I'm full
- 2:01Speaker 1: conspiracy mode, and and Trey, you're sort of our You
- 2:06Speaker 1: are our documentarian, which sort of makes you our historian.
- 2:10Speaker 1: So i'm you kind of keep us grounded in reality.
- 2:16Speaker 1: But I'm spiral in here, man.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I went back and watched more videos, and the algorithms
- 2:22Speaker 1: kept showing me more videos, and next thing you know,
- 2:25Speaker 1: Sylvester Stallone comes out and says that Mike Tyson gave
- 2:30Speaker 1: one of the great Oscar winning performances. And I now
- 2:35Speaker 1: think that Rocky also thinks to fight was rigged.
- 2:40Speaker 4: What what? What did you expect? It was an exhibition fight.
- 2:47Speaker 1: So was Apollo versus Drago.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Okay, I'm pretty sure that one was rigged two.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Which tells you Sylvester Stallone know was a rigged fight
- 2:58Speaker 1: when he sees one. He's been a good chunk of
- 3:00Speaker 1: his career choreographing them.
- 3:02Speaker 4: I mean, we all fell into the trap of wanting
- 3:07Speaker 4: Tyson to come out and just beat Jake Paul's ass.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Yes, but in a way, I wanted sixty million people
- 3:13Speaker 1: to witness a murder. That's what I wanted.
- 3:16Speaker 4: At the end of the day, we got what we
- 3:20Speaker 4: all should have expected, which is a big pay day
- 3:24Speaker 4: for Mike, probably his last big pay day. He saw
- 3:27Speaker 4: the riding on the wall. Jake Paul has become a
- 3:29Speaker 4: master at this. I mean, this is it's it's his forte.
- 3:35Speaker 4: And you know, Netflix got a huge bump. Jerry World
- 3:41Speaker 4: was sold out tickets Like the gate. I think they
- 3:44Speaker 4: said the gate for the fight was.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Eighteen million, yep, yep.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Everyone got paid. Why are we surprised?
- 3:50Speaker 5: Why?
- 3:51Speaker 4: If you think about it, this is exactly the ending
- 3:54Speaker 4: that we all should have seen coming.
- 3:56Speaker 1: And this is why I'm so glad you're in the
- 3:58Speaker 1: treehouse with us, because, like I said, you're here to
- 4:01Speaker 1: keep us grounded, and in this case, you've grounded us
- 4:04Speaker 1: so hard. You are deep in the pessimism bucket, and
- 4:09Speaker 1: you're telling us that we are wrong to have had
- 4:12Speaker 1: great expectations about the fight. I'm not saying you're wrong.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I'm just saying, thank you.
- 4:16Speaker 4: It wasn't a title fight. It was an exhibition fight.
- 4:20Speaker 4: It was two minute rounds that were padded gloves.
- 4:23Speaker 2: What I think when they moved it from when Mike
- 4:26Speaker 2: Tyson moved it from an actual exhibition fight, when he
- 4:29Speaker 2: said I want to make this an actual fight, I thought,
- 4:33Speaker 2: we're gonna get that. Mike Tyson.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I still exists, and you're right, he was not the
- 4:43Speaker 1: same guy that we saw in the training videos. The
- 4:46Speaker 1: better fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul happened at
- 4:49Speaker 1: the way in when Jake stepped on Mike's toe and
- 4:52Speaker 1: and Mike slapped him for it. That was a better
- 4:54Speaker 1: fight than the one we act than the actual fight.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Yes, we all fell victim to it, but at the
- 5:00Speaker 4: end of the day, you have to look back at
- 5:03Speaker 4: it and go, that's we should That's exactly what we
- 5:06Speaker 4: should have expected.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It's it's it's come uppance for having hope, is what
- 5:10Speaker 1: you're saying. Hope for what a murder? I mean, I
- 5:18Speaker 1: wanted it to be the easiest game of Clue in
- 5:20Speaker 1: the history of Clue. That was Mike Tyson in the
- 5:23Speaker 1: ring in Arlington.
- 5:24Speaker 6: Texas the most with yeh, the best you were going
- 5:29Speaker 6: to get is that they thought they could melt this
- 5:33Speaker 6: for two maybe three fights, and so you did get
- 5:37Speaker 6: like a knockout or something, and.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Then they were going to do a second one. But
- 5:42Speaker 3: and after that I could, like, I quit watching it
- 5:44Speaker 3: after that third round. I couldn't watch Mike.
- 5:46Speaker 4: I mean, Mike looked like a fifty eight year old
- 5:48Speaker 4: man in a boxing ring.
- 5:50Speaker 1: And now see that's where I'm That's where I begged
- 5:52Speaker 1: to differ. He looked like a normal fifty eight year
- 5:56Speaker 1: old man in a in a boxing ring, not Mike
- 5:58Speaker 1: Tyson fifty eight, because Mike Tyson fifty eight was still
- 6:03Speaker 1: the one beating the crap out of the pads and
- 6:05Speaker 1: the hand glove stuff and training. Now, I know it's
- 6:07Speaker 1: different when you get into a ring and someone's you know,
- 6:10Speaker 1: when you've got a YouTuber punching your back. But I
- 6:13Speaker 1: just know. And let me go back to what Sylvester
- 6:16Speaker 1: Stallone said, and again, this is the guy who built
- 6:18Speaker 1: the majority of his career choreographing fights. Okay, he said,
- 6:23Speaker 1: just to set my personal record straight, business is business.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to do some things you have to
- 6:28Speaker 1: do to sacrifice for the sake of helping your family.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I've known this unbelievable athlete since he's nineteen years old
- 6:34Speaker 1: talking about Tyson, and what we saw was him giving
- 6:36Speaker 1: one of the great Oscar winning performances of all time.
- 6:41Speaker 4: And I don't doubt it. I don't doubt Tyson was
- 6:44Speaker 4: holding back. I don't doubt it. But it was Jake
- 6:49Speaker 4: Paul's promotion, you know company, Jake Paul's calling the shots.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Tyson saw twenty million at the end of the rainbow,
- 6:57Speaker 4: and he did what he needed to do. Again, why
- 7:01Speaker 4: did we expect anything differently?
- 7:02Speaker 2: Here's why, because I thought after we had to see
- 7:05Speaker 2: his ass, we would have gotten a good fight. Like
- 7:08Speaker 2: we had to just we had we had to watch that.
- 7:12Speaker 2: We had to watch that, watch him walk away and like,
- 7:15Speaker 2: oh there's his ass. He's he's crazy again.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Ud come out of the locker room wearing only that
- 7:26Speaker 1: Vegas would have broken.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Hey, I'll say this.
- 7:30Speaker 4: You know you looked at that at you know that
- 7:32Speaker 4: that is better than most fifty eight year old's ass.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Maybe he does have as Yeah.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Now, of of all the things that Mike Tyson did
- 7:41Speaker 1: last Friday Night that was worth twenty million, it was
- 7:44Speaker 1: that butt. Probably.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Yeah. When when the producer was like all right and
- 7:48Speaker 2: cut and the camera guy goes, oh wait, just wait.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Let me hold this, let me hold this for just guy.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Camera guy saw it all along, I mean zoomed in.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Yeah, when Dolly Parton was in a Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders
- 8:04Speaker 4: at uniform, did you do you want him to change?
- 8:06Speaker 3: The age limit for the cheerleaders.
- 8:09Speaker 1: No, no, okay, I mean I was just okay with
- 8:12Speaker 1: Dolly being an exception. Yeah, as far as I'm concerned
- 8:17Speaker 1: Dolly Parton, Mike Tyson, they've earned their place to be
- 8:20Speaker 1: able to do just about anything they want. And if
- 8:22Speaker 1: Dolly Parton wants to punch Jake Paul around while wearing
- 8:25Speaker 1: nothing but Mike Tyson's jockstrap, I'll tune in for that too.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Yeah. That's why. Like when I saw him walk away
- 8:31Speaker 2: and the bare ass happened, I was like, oh my god,
- 8:33Speaker 2: he gave an interview with his ass hanging out. He's
- 8:36Speaker 2: crazy Mike again, So that's who we're going to get,
- 8:38Speaker 2: and this will this fight will be over in ninety seconds.
- 8:42Speaker 2: And then we had to watch eight rounds of it.
- 8:45Speaker 4: Hey, even crazy Mike knows twenty million is twenty million.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And that's why he had to continue to bite his
- 8:53Speaker 1: glove to remember not to kill the white kid in
- 8:56Speaker 1: front of him who had decided to check. And that
- 8:58Speaker 1: was the whole point. Jake Paul didn't pay the man
- 9:01Speaker 1: until after the fight to make sure he could sign
- 9:04Speaker 1: the check. He told Mike, if you kill me, you
- 9:07Speaker 1: don't get paid.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Mm hm. So you don't think there's gonna be a
- 9:10Speaker 2: too a Tyson versus Paul two.
- 9:13Speaker 1: No, no, not unless it's like unless it they're gonna
- 9:17Speaker 1: unless they're gonna do like a street brawl version like
- 9:19Speaker 1: Rocky five was.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I think because enough people are saying it was rigged
- 9:24Speaker 2: that Jake Paul has to save face and go, you
- 9:27Speaker 2: know what, let's do a second one, no rules, you know,
- 9:30Speaker 2: the three three minute rounds, no padded gloves.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Tyson is the one who wanted the two minute rounds.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Mm hmm oh.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I thought it was Jake Paul that won none rounds.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, yeah, old man doesn't want to go three
- 9:45Speaker 4: rounds three minute rounds.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I actually tried that the other day and he was
- 9:49Speaker 1: right two minutes. All.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Yeah, if you've ever boxed three minute rounds, yeah, you
- 9:53Speaker 4: don't know.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I tried three minutes and I started walking around the
- 9:56Speaker 1: gym with my ass out, and they told me not
- 9:57Speaker 1: to come back.

- 12:41Speaker 1: report that medical TikTok is back, baby, and not just back,
- 12:45Speaker 1: it's never really gone. But there are certain trends on
- 12:48Speaker 1: TikTok that come and go, but apparently medical TikTok is forever.
- 12:53Speaker 1: It's just a matter of what the current hot trend is.
- 12:56Speaker 1: And Trey, in addition to being our documentarian and ground
- 13:00Speaker 1: being pessimist in the treehouse, you're also you are also
- 13:05Speaker 1: our TikTok expert. So if you've seen some of this,
- 13:08Speaker 1: please give us your deep insights here. Uh, currently there
- 13:14Speaker 1: is a lady who's uh spreading information on the medical
- 13:19Speaker 1: TikTok Okay, and you know how they said that the
- 13:26Speaker 1: Internet when it was created might be one of the
- 13:28Speaker 1: most dangerous things man has ever invented for it's for
- 13:34Speaker 1: stuff like this. Okay. What I mean is a new
- 13:41Speaker 1: health hack on TikTok has come about, and there's a
- 13:48Speaker 1: way that you can make your delivery pizza healthier if
- 13:53Speaker 1: you just follow and do what this lady does on TikTok.
- 13:58Speaker 10: And I want to see is as weird as I
- 14:01Speaker 10: am when it comes to pizza.
- 14:02Speaker 11: I learned this in college and.
- 14:04Speaker 12: Okay, so you take the pizza flippity go it.
- 14:10Speaker 1: You catch that, Let's start this over from the beginning
- 14:12Speaker 1: so you can't catch it all. It's a youngish lady,
- 14:14Speaker 1: i'd say mid I'd say late twenties, early thirties, ball cap, jacket,
- 14:18Speaker 1: T shirt, jeans in her kitchen. She's got her Domino's
- 14:20Speaker 1: pizza and she's going to turn it over, so the
- 14:24Speaker 1: toppings now go to the roof of the box and
- 14:26Speaker 1: then she drops it on the floor.
- 14:28Speaker 11: Okay, so we just.
- 14:29Speaker 10: Got Domino's pizza, and I want to see if anybody
- 14:31Speaker 10: is as weird as I am when it comes to pizza.
- 14:33Speaker 11: I learned this in college.
- 14:35Speaker 12: And okay, so you take the pizza flippity go it,
- 14:41Speaker 12: pick it up, flipp it, gop it.
- 14:45Speaker 10: I know that's weird, but now all the grease is
- 14:48Speaker 10: on top, and there's.
- 14:49Speaker 11: No grease on her pizza.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:52Speaker 1: See, I'm not a doctor, I'm not a scientist, but
- 14:55Speaker 1: I don't think that's how that works. You didn't magically
- 15:00Speaker 1: all the grease out of the pizza into the roof
- 15:02Speaker 1: of the pizza box, did you. I mean you could
- 15:05Speaker 1: have the same effects by getting a paper towel and
- 15:07Speaker 1: wiping the surface of it.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Yep, was my first thought.
- 15:13Speaker 1: And you don't have and and you wouldn't look like
- 15:15Speaker 1: an idiot on TikTok because now you're just messing up
- 15:18Speaker 1: your pizza.
- 15:21Speaker 2: And it's just the cheese pizza. But there's no toppings
- 15:25Speaker 2: because I would all be on the roof as well.
- 15:27Speaker 2: And uh, and then why order a pizza? I mean,
- 15:30Speaker 2: if you're that's the thing. If you're going for a
- 15:32Speaker 2: healthy pizza, you don't order pizza. No, that's the Yeah, you.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Eat, you do one of two things. You either make
- 15:39Speaker 1: it yourself or you don't eat it.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's what the paper they give you napkins
- 15:44Speaker 2: in the bag. Uh, and you do the little blotting
- 15:48Speaker 2: yea of the.
- 15:49Speaker 1: It And it doesn't remove all the grease from the
- 15:51Speaker 1: pizza like she seems to think it does. If I
- 15:54Speaker 1: like gravity, I like gravity suck out all the grease
- 15:58Speaker 1: and my pizza and it's now been degreased. It's now
- 16:01Speaker 1: in the box, like lady, it's still in there. Did
- 16:04Speaker 1: you get a little bit off the top? Sure, but
- 16:06Speaker 1: it's soaked in mm hmm.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Yeah. But I mean, how many millions of views does
- 16:11Speaker 2: this have now?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Uh? She this was like four or five days ago,
- 16:18Speaker 1: and it's got.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Oh, it makes me nolxious.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Where do I see the views on TikTok tray. It's
- 16:26Speaker 1: got over three thousand shares, nine hundred and fifty six
- 16:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry thirteen almost fourteen thousand likes, one hundred and
- 16:33Speaker 1: ninety nine comments, over three thousand shares, and probably the
- 16:38Speaker 1: most terrifying thing is about a thousand people have saved this,
- 16:45Speaker 1: so probably a couple million people.
- 16:47Speaker 8: Have watched this.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and of the couple of million people, you're gonna get,
- 16:53Speaker 2: you know, on tw hundred thousand people that are gonna
- 16:55Speaker 2: do this to their pizza. And then you're gonna have
- 16:57Speaker 2: all these pizza places that have people calling going all
- 17:00Speaker 2: my toppings are stuck to the top of the box.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Well, you're gonna get some great videos. Yeah.
- 17:07Speaker 1: This is what makes the internet so dangerous, is it?
- 17:10Speaker 1: It gives idiots a voice to share their idiot thoughts
- 17:15Speaker 1: and then other idiots soak it up like the roof
- 17:19Speaker 1: of that pizza box.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's what I think. That's what TikTok's
- 17:24Speaker 2: platform is. Stupid people doing stupid things for stupid people.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's I couldn't help but think though. It's like
- 17:32Speaker 1: you've got like medical TikTok is a thing. It's like
- 17:35Speaker 1: people sharing what they think is tried and true medical
- 17:38Speaker 1: advice or whatever, or in this case, how to degrease
- 17:42Speaker 1: your pizza and not fat free because you drop it
- 17:44Speaker 1: a bunch and all the grease that's on the roof
- 17:46Speaker 1: of the pizza box. They have all these medical TV
- 17:50Speaker 1: shows like Chicago Med. I would like them to do
- 17:54Speaker 1: TikTok Med. I would watch that. I would like to
- 17:57Speaker 1: see what Oliver Platt thinks about how to degrease a pizza.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I don't think those shows. I love those shows because
- 18:03Speaker 2: there's never any Indian people on it. And that's that's why.
- 18:07Speaker 2: That's when I lose interest when I when I see
- 18:09Speaker 2: Chicago Med, and I know how many doctors in Chicago
- 18:13Speaker 2: are Indian, and I don't see one of them. Like,
- 18:15Speaker 2: this show has no has no credibility. What's up?
- 18:18Speaker 1: No, it's not believable at all.
- 18:21Speaker 2: But she said that she learned this in college. Didn't
- 18:23Speaker 2: you say that before she does?
- 18:24Speaker 1: Though, Yeah, I don't. I don't think it was a
- 18:27Speaker 1: nutrition professor that taught her that. I think it's just
- 18:29Speaker 1: something that they did on too much Fireball in the
- 18:32Speaker 1: sorority House.
- 18:33Speaker 3: God bless Aggie.
- 18:39Speaker 1: It's at Trey trendhome one across all social media platforms.
- 18:43Speaker 1: If you have something you'd like to share with our
- 18:46Speaker 1: Trey A Longhorn Alum.

- 19:13Speaker 1: give her and all of them. They're a call to
- 19:16Speaker 1: one fourth three six eight thirty eight thirty eight the
- 19:18Speaker 1: website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. When I had my
- 19:21Speaker 1: house in Dallas, Jacqueline, you came out a few times
- 19:25Speaker 1: to help us with some issues and your response time
- 19:28Speaker 1: was phenomenal. And it wasn't just because it was me.
- 19:31Speaker 1: It was because that's the kind of company you run.
- 19:33Speaker 1: You go out of your way trying to help every
- 19:36Speaker 1: client and try to get there as soon as you can.
- 19:38Speaker 13: Well, I mean the reality of it is is that
- 19:40Speaker 13: plumbing is unfortunately a need and not so much a want. Yes,
- 19:44Speaker 13: you can want to remodel the bathroom and that's not pressing,
- 19:48Speaker 13: but typically when it comes to service, or leak investigations,
- 19:51Speaker 13: et cetera, et cetera. If you've got to stoppage on
- 19:54Speaker 13: the mainline and you don't know, and you keep putting
- 19:58Speaker 13: liquid or waste into the drains, if it has nowhere
- 20:04Speaker 13: to go, it will come back in the house. And
- 20:06Speaker 13: at that point in time, it's no longer a want,
- 20:09Speaker 13: it's a need, and that sort of thing can't wait.
- 20:12Speaker 13: When you have those emergencies, you have got to figure
- 20:16Speaker 13: out how to manage the crew so that you can
- 20:18Speaker 13: have the best response time.
- 20:20Speaker 1: That's right, and they'll show up and they'll do it quickly.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Call Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing for any and all of
- 20:25Speaker 1: those plumbing once and needs two one, four, three, six,
- 20:27Speaker 1: eight thirty eight thirty eight and again that website Brooks

- 20:57Speaker 1: cook DFW. That's eight three three cook f W or
- 21:00Speaker 1: the website cook dfw dot com. All right, before we
- 21:06Speaker 1: get into what a real Tyrannosaurus Rex sounds like, I
- 21:10Speaker 1: want to revisit uh TikTok med for just a brief
- 21:14Speaker 1: moment with the young lady. We were talking about about
- 21:17Speaker 1: how to dream about how to decrease your pizza when
- 21:20Speaker 1: you get it delivered. So she, you know, she takes
- 21:22Speaker 1: her Dominoes and she turns it over and drops it.
- 21:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna share this with you again because
- 21:28Speaker 1: I think I've I've come to a realization about this
- 21:31Speaker 1: lady here. All right, here we go, let me start
- 21:34Speaker 1: her over. All right, this is how to decrease your
- 21:38Speaker 1: pizza and make it fat free, according to this uh
- 21:41Speaker 1: lady on TikTok Okay.
- 21:43Speaker 12: So we just got.
- 21:43Speaker 10: Domino's pizza, and I'm wanting to see if anybody is
- 21:46Speaker 10: as weird as I am when it comes to pizza.
- 21:48Speaker 11: I learned this in college.
- 21:50Speaker 12: Take the pizza, pick it up.
- 21:59Speaker 1: So what she's saying is that what she learned in
- 22:02Speaker 1: college was to pick it up, flip it, and drop it.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I think in college she was the pizza.
- 22:11Speaker 3: At A and M.
- 22:12Speaker 4: That's called the Wonders of Gravity.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I think that's the I think that's the climax of
- 22:19Speaker 1: fish Camp.
- 22:23Speaker 3: The climax was the bonfire.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Damn, I mean God, rest in peace. Jerry yourself. Sorry,
- 22:38Speaker 1: I knew one of the guys.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I've died now, Oh just got weird.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Look I have I have a dark past and I
- 22:49Speaker 1: and in order for me to deal with my pain
- 22:50Speaker 1: and things, I will a tendency to poke fun at it. Okay,
- 22:55Speaker 1: I have to otherwise otherwise I'm gonna end up like
- 22:58Speaker 1: this chick. Ru'm uh picking myself up, flipping myself over
- 23:02Speaker 1: and dropping myself on the kitchen floor and thinking I'm
- 23:05Speaker 1: now fat free. All right, I'm going to play something
- 23:15Speaker 1: for you, guys. Does this noise scare you? If you
- 23:30Speaker 1: were walking around the woods, say East Texas, so you
- 23:34Speaker 1: had made a wrong turn somewhere near Athens and you
- 23:37Speaker 1: heard that noise? Would you be upset? Would you be
- 23:39Speaker 1: a little afraid? Or would you be like, eh, just rednecks? Yes,
- 23:48Speaker 1: both can be true.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Got it can be true simultaneously. Rednecks. And I don't
- 23:54Speaker 2: know why I'm in the woods. First of all, I
- 23:58Speaker 2: wouldn't do that unless I'm with one of you. And
- 24:00Speaker 2: that's where we're going.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Well, I honestly was thinking more of like a lady,
- 24:06Speaker 4: turn your vibrator down.
- 24:10Speaker 2: It sounds like you've said that before.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yeah, not Trey's first time now, according to Science. According
- 24:20Speaker 1: to Science, they think they now know what a t
- 24:24Speaker 1: rex actually would have sounded like, and that is this noise.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Figuring out what dinosaurs actually sounded like is an almost
- 24:33Speaker 1: impossible task because scientists can't exactly dig up a fossilized roar.
- 24:39Speaker 1: But according to one paleontologist on vox Science's Unexplainable podcast,
- 24:45Speaker 1: he says most of the sound producing structures are soft
- 24:48Speaker 1: tissues or less resilient hard tissues. It's muscle and cartilage
- 24:52Speaker 1: and those ten not to fossilize. Still, scientists think it's
- 24:56Speaker 1: an important question. Figuring out what dinosaurs sounded like means
- 25:00Speaker 1: understanding the world they lived in a bit better and
- 25:02Speaker 1: is a key understanding how they behaved. So they can
- 25:07Speaker 1: actually look into living relatives of dinosaurs to reconstruct their sounds.
- 25:10Speaker 1: If they share a common ancestor, they may have similar
- 25:13Speaker 1: attributes like how they make sound. One such related group
- 25:17Speaker 1: is crocodilians, like the crocodile's alligators and the caymans, who
- 25:20Speaker 1: share a common ancestor with dinosaurs, lived around two hundred
- 25:22Speaker 1: and fifty million years ago. So in twenty seventeen, Julia
- 25:27Speaker 1: Clark from Texas recreated the sound of a t rex
- 25:30Speaker 1: by using what we know about voice boxes and serings.
- 25:34Speaker 1: The paleontologists used a different method to figure out how
- 25:38Speaker 1: dinosaurs would have sounded by using the call of a
- 25:40Speaker 1: Eurasian bittern bird and the sound of a Chinese crocodile.
- 25:44Speaker 1: So she was able to understand that this was a
- 25:46Speaker 1: more realistic depiction as both are archosaurs or archosaurs, which
- 25:50Speaker 1: are the precursors to dinosaurs. So this is what according
- 25:53Speaker 1: to science, A real Tyrannosaurus rex sounds like that right
- 26:11Speaker 1: there would scare me because that also sounds like the predator.
- 26:15Speaker 1: That's the predator, snart snarl in there.
- 26:18Speaker 2: But didn't the t rex have really small arms?
- 26:21Speaker 3: Yes, So it was my favorite memes.
- 26:26Speaker 2: So it's a it's got this menacing, uh like haunting roar,
- 26:32Speaker 2: and then it can't do anything, Oh it can.
- 26:34Speaker 1: It's just it's it's, it's, it's it's Basically I've said
- 26:40Speaker 1: for many years, I believe nature has a way of
- 26:41Speaker 1: balancing things out right. I think this might be one
- 26:48Speaker 1: of those things. Like the t rex is a great
- 26:50Speaker 1: example of it because it's a huge menacing predator and
- 26:53Speaker 1: it's terrifying and and mother nature is also you know,
- 26:59Speaker 1: in a good move that day because you also gave
- 27:01Speaker 1: a baby arm.
- 27:01Speaker 8: So.
- 27:05Speaker 2: It can it can make that sound, but then it
- 27:07Speaker 2: can't just like pick you up and eat you.
- 27:09Speaker 1: No, it's gotta you gotta fall down. Probably probably from
- 27:13Speaker 1: laughing at it. That kind of sounds like like if
- 27:31Speaker 1: it was scratching its ass up against a really big tree.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Okay, I just that sounded like traffic in New York City,
- 27:38Speaker 2: is what that sounded like. It just sounded like the subway,
- 27:41Speaker 2: like honking horns. Yeah, but that that's supposed to be
- 27:43Speaker 2: the t rex as well? Or was that?
- 27:45Speaker 1: Yeah, this whole thing is supposed to be a t rex.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Huh Yeah, that would scare me out.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Would that scare you? Or if you heard this instead
- 28:03Speaker 1: like Hollywood h what have you believed? That's Hollywood wins?
- 28:18Speaker 3: And and you said this study was done in Texas?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Uh huh, God, bless Aggie.
- 28:24Speaker 1: They're really on a roll that Eric. We do science.
- 28:32Speaker 5: In visit us online, a treehouse on air dot Com.
- 28:50Speaker 11: You're in the tree house.
- 28:52Speaker 5: Listen is online a treehouse on air dot com.
- 28:57Speaker 1: The previous segment of the Treehouse is brought to you
- 28:59Speaker 1: by Brooks Plumbing. For any and all of your plumbing
- 29:01Speaker 1: wants and needs, call Jacqueline at two one four three
- 29:04Speaker 1: six eight thirty eight thirty eight. That's two one fourth
- 29:07Speaker 1: three six eight thirty eight thirty eight and the website
- 29:09Speaker 1: Brooks Plumbingtexas dot com. That is Brooks Plumbingtexas dot com.
- 29:14Speaker 1: So we are now going to transition inside the treehouse
- 29:17Speaker 1: here from one of the most terrifying animal noises you
- 29:19Speaker 1: could possibly ever hear, or actually possibly never hear because
- 29:24Speaker 1: it's t rex, because of t Rex, and you're not
- 29:26Speaker 1: proud not gonna hear it.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Uh.
- 29:27Speaker 1: If you do, you're not gonna have time to tell
- 29:29Speaker 1: anybody about it. So we're going to go from a
- 29:31Speaker 1: truly terrifying aural experience and go into what may be
- 29:38Speaker 1: the most adorable flight delay you have ever heard of.
- 29:44Speaker 1: One hundred and thirty two hamsters reportedly broke loose on
- 29:49Speaker 1: a passenger plane, forcing it out of service for days.
- 29:54Speaker 1: A Portuguese airline was forced to ground one of its
- 29:57Speaker 1: passenger jets last week after discovering that one hundred and
- 30:01Speaker 1: thirty two hamsters had escaped from cages in the cargo
- 30:04Speaker 1: hold and roamed free throughout the aircraft. I know what,
- 30:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry if they if we're already on board and
- 30:12Speaker 1: they say, sorry, folks, we're gonna have to go back
- 30:15Speaker 1: to the terminal because we got a bunch of hamsters
- 30:18Speaker 1: roared and loose on the plane, I'd be like, Okay,
- 30:22Speaker 1: that would be awesome. Yeah, just let him run around
- 30:25Speaker 1: and crawl all over. It's like basically it would take
- 30:27Speaker 1: all the all the negative out of snakes on a
- 30:29Speaker 1: plane if it's hamster's on a plane, Like, yeah, I'd
- 30:31Speaker 1: be okay with those rodents.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Why were they one hundred and thirty two hamsters on
- 30:37Speaker 4: a plane where they like hamster spring break or something.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Well, they were going to the Azores, which is an
- 30:45Speaker 1: island group just off the coast of Portugal. A Tap
- 30:50Speaker 1: Airlines airbus that flew from Lisbon to the Azores of
- 30:54Speaker 1: Ponta Delgada on November thirteenth was taken out of service
- 30:57Speaker 1: after its arrival and for four days as ground crew
- 31:01Speaker 1: members scoured the plane for the hamsters. Reports by multiple
- 31:06Speaker 1: Portuguese news outlets cited anonymous sources as saying baggage handlers
- 31:11Speaker 1: had first noticed damaged cages after the plane landed, and
- 31:16Speaker 1: then saw the hamsters running a muck in the cargo hold.
- 31:21Speaker 1: And I'm a firm believer that in the journalism world
- 31:24Speaker 1: you do not use the phrase running a muck loosely.
- 31:28Speaker 1: So you know, these hamsters were having themselves a party.
- 31:32Speaker 1: And if I know hamsters the way I do from
- 31:34Speaker 1: my early two thousands MySpace days, I have an idea
- 31:38Speaker 1: I know what they were doing. Just imagine one hundred
- 31:49Speaker 1: and thirty two hamsters going down the aisle of your
- 31:51Speaker 1: aircraft dancing.
- 31:54Speaker 3: It was a hamster rave.
- 31:58Speaker 1: It is, you know, near the.
- 32:01Speaker 2: I forgot about this.
- 32:02Speaker 1: This is so great, great the hamster dance from MySpace days.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Oh God, dead Hamster was DJ.
- 32:09Speaker 1: In mm HM as opposed to dead mouse. Yes, I
- 32:13Speaker 1: got it.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Uh.
- 32:17Speaker 1: In case you're wondering, I did down though this entire song. Sorry, folks,
- 32:31Speaker 1: we're gonna have to turn the flight around. Now we've
- 32:34Speaker 1: got a rave breakout. So in the cargo hold, the
- 32:38Speaker 1: hamsters run them up.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Just a little mini glow sticks everywhere.
- 32:43Speaker 14: The most adorable, little tiny fist bumps, this fist pumping
- 32:48Speaker 14: like crazy time.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Even that's.
- 33:15Speaker 1: God damn right, I did. My wife sent me this
- 33:20Speaker 1: story and I said, oh, finally I have an excuse
- 33:22Speaker 1: to play the hamster dance on the show.

- 33:50Speaker 3: Like there was a lot of knocked up hansters by the.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Don't they breed really fast?
- 33:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it started with one hundred and thirty two.
- 33:59Speaker 1: It's now like up to a thousand.

- 35:16Speaker 1: It is Thursday, November twenty first, twenty twenty four, so
- 35:20Speaker 1: let's celebrate with some birthdays. Carl Ray Jepson turns thirty
- 35:29Speaker 1: nine today, chief of Call Me Maybe Fame, which, by
- 35:34Speaker 1: the way, has one and a half billion views on
- 35:39Speaker 1: the YouTube, which is actually more than The Hamster Dance.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I know because I've watched it The Hamster Hamster Dance
- 35:47Speaker 1: a lot.
- 35:48Speaker 2: There's a guy on I've posted the video where he
- 35:52Speaker 2: uses that song to reveal the Antichrist. It's in the
- 35:58Speaker 2: song that he the number, like, here's my number, and
- 36:02Speaker 2: he's saying that the number.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Oh call me maybe. I thought you were saying the
- 36:05Speaker 1: Antichrist was unveiled in the middle of the Hamster Dance.
- 36:09Speaker 2: I think both of those could be true, one more
- 36:12Speaker 2: fun than the other. Yeah, yeah, but yeah, he said
- 36:15Speaker 2: that Carly Ridgepson's song is revealing the Antichrist to the world.
- 36:21Speaker 2: That's why she hasn't released anything since that song.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Which she has. It's just not as catchy. Gotcha, she
- 36:27Speaker 1: had another hit, it just wasn't that big. And I'll
- 36:30Speaker 1: point out I know this because my wife does event
- 36:33Speaker 1: planning and she did a wedding recently and that song
- 36:37Speaker 1: gets played at weddings like it's still a dance number
- 36:41Speaker 1: for for some people.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, interesting, that's.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Now I'm now the next the next one that she does, though,
- 36:48Speaker 1: I want to sneak into hamster dance just to see
- 36:50Speaker 1: what people start doing. Just like to take a moment
- 36:56Speaker 1: here to congratulate the very happy couple, ladies and gentlemen
- 36:58Speaker 1: for the very first time mister and missus hamster dance. Yeah,
- 37:05Speaker 1: just to see the family spaces.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Just do that at your last event, like you're like,
- 37:10Speaker 2: you know what, We're done with this business. This is
- 37:12Speaker 2: the last wedding we will ever do. And just put
- 37:14Speaker 2: that on repeat and leave.
- 37:16Speaker 1: They'll do like a nice beach wedding. It hit play
- 37:20Speaker 1: and then just just walk out into the ocean like
- 37:24Speaker 1: one of those things. Yeah, like one of those Stars
- 37:29Speaker 1: Born movies, like Chris Christofferson, not dangling in the garage
- 37:34Speaker 1: like the the Brade Cooper version. Yeah, anyway, Oh that's
- 37:40Speaker 1: the rest the wrong purple button.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Hang on?
- 37:42Speaker 2: Do you m.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Back to birthdays? So Happy birthday, Carli ray Jebsen. She
- 37:49Speaker 1: is thirty nine today. Jennam Alone turns forty today. She
- 37:53Speaker 1: plays Joanna Mason in the Hunger Games sequels. She's the
- 37:57Speaker 1: one that digs the tracker out of Catmus's arm and
- 37:59Speaker 1: catch fire. She was also Jake Gillenhall's girlfriend Gretchen and
- 38:04Speaker 1: Donnie Darko and the only one to survive the horror
- 38:06Speaker 1: movie The Roots. So hopefully it didn't ruin that ending
- 38:09Speaker 1: for you. The Bella twins, Brie and Nicky, are both
- 38:12Speaker 1: forty one. Conveniently, Brie is married to w WE superstar
- 38:16Speaker 1: Daniel Bryan. Nicky married her Dancing with the Stars partner
- 38:19Speaker 1: Artem She did which one was? It was Nicky that
- 38:26Speaker 1: was at one point with John Cena.
- 38:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Yes, And then the other guy is the one who
- 38:31Speaker 2: got the domestic violence charge against him. That's why they're divorced.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Now got the Daniel Brian guy or no?
- 38:38Speaker 2: Daniel Bryan is a former w w A w Yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 2: married to her and then the artem with discovitted vision
- 38:46Speaker 2: is the one that apparently beat her up. Oh god,
- 38:51Speaker 2: but it's after she threw a shoe at him, So
- 38:55Speaker 2: I mean, you still shouldn't do that. But I think
- 38:57Speaker 2: she was throwing stuff at his face.
- 38:59Speaker 1: That's also assault.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but he didn't call, and then she called, and
- 39:04Speaker 2: then he tried to call the police back and say
- 39:06Speaker 2: that it didn't happen, and then when they got there,
- 39:08Speaker 2: she was visibly choes visibly beaten up.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Okay, let's celebrate war birthdays. Well, here's an upper rain.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Phoenix is fifty two. She's the sister of Joaquin and
- 39:30Speaker 1: the Lake River. Michael Strahan, good Morning America host, is

- 39:39Speaker 1: sacks in a season. Ken Griffy Junior, retired Major League
- 39:44Speaker 1: baseball player, is fifty five today. One of my favorite
- 39:48Speaker 1: baseball players of all time. So happy birthday.
- 39:50Speaker 3: King Griffy Junior.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Brought me a lot of joy in my baseball days.
- 39:53Speaker 1: One of my favorite football players of all time. Because
- 39:55Speaker 1: we are in Texas and we are all Cowboys fans.
- 39:59Speaker 1: The one and only, the Great Troy Aikman is fifty
- 40:01Speaker 1: eight today. Wow, And it's great to not only have
- 40:06Speaker 1: one of the all Time Great Quarterbacks as a part
- 40:09Speaker 1: of your favorite teens franchise history in Trougman, but also
- 40:12Speaker 1: now that Aikman is sort of like a full on
- 40:14Speaker 1: Cowboys fan like the rest of us. He has to
- 40:17Speaker 1: watch the games like we all do, and he also
- 40:20Speaker 1: and hates them like we all do, like we all do. Meanwhile,
- 40:30Speaker 1: someone Who's beloved in her home country of Iceland b
- 40:34Speaker 1: York is fifty nine. Her songs include Big Time Sensuality,
- 40:39Speaker 1: Earth Intruders, and Human Behavior. So Yeah. Nicolette Sheridan turns

- 42:41Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. I think we got to
- 42:45Speaker 1: all the birthdays. What was it, Raj, you were asking
- 42:47Speaker 1: about b York.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I hadn't heard her name in so long, and
- 42:51Speaker 2: I was like, I remember. The only thing I remember
- 42:53Speaker 2: was I think she had some sort of weird meltdown
- 42:55Speaker 2: at like the AMA Is like a music like an
- 42:58Speaker 2: award show that she was one of the Swan dress
- 43:01Speaker 2: and then she had some like on stage like they
- 43:03Speaker 2: had at one point cut away from her, like they
- 43:06Speaker 2: had to go to commercial.
- 43:07Speaker 3: It was the VMA's mtvv Oh.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right. Yeah, it was like late nineties, I think.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:16Speaker 4: MTV was the station that it showed music videos.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and created reality TV the Real World, so they're
- 43:26Speaker 2: responsible for.
- 43:27Speaker 3: All of the reality Carson Daily.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, but I mean she had some weird breakdown
- 43:35Speaker 2: on stage and it was like she was like I
- 43:38Speaker 2: think she was banned from the awards for a while.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Really yeah, oh yeah, you couldn't do that these days.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I mean, I mean you could have the breakdown, but
- 43:46Speaker 1: instead of them cutting away to commercial, they would probably
- 43:48Speaker 1: actually stay with the shot and then use it as
- 43:51Speaker 1: a learning experience for anyone and everyone struggling with mental illness.
- 43:55Speaker 2: That's probably true. I mean, you can you can also
- 43:58Speaker 2: slap the host if if you want to mentioning your wife,
- 44:02Speaker 2: if you want to do that. You can want somebody
- 44:03Speaker 2: commit a felony and then stay to accept the Oscar.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Well, the reason why that felony happened is because he
- 44:11Speaker 1: wanted to do that. He wanted to keep the felony
- 44:14Speaker 1: in the family. But that's wrong, so he took it
- 44:18Speaker 1: out on Chris Rock's face instead. Yeah, two felonies don't
- 44:22Speaker 1: make it right.
- 44:25Speaker 4: That's funny. Watch Landman the New Billy Bob Thornton show.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Taylor shared in production fantastic. It will be the next Yellowstone, Okay,
- 44:37Speaker 4: and that's finny. I was watching the opening credits to
- 44:39Speaker 4: know it's MTV production. It's like, Oh, that's what they're
- 44:43Speaker 4: doing with it now, Like I think CVS is just like, hey,
- 44:48Speaker 4: do we have any shell companies laying around?
- 44:50Speaker 2: Oh? Hey, MTV. That's where they're funneling the money to.
- 44:57Speaker 2: MTV's based out of the Bahamas.
- 44:58Speaker 3: Now what.
- 45:03Speaker 1: I know MTV has. I think they've they've made movies before,
- 45:07Speaker 1: been like a production company. But I want to say, God,
- 45:14Speaker 1: I want to say, I know that I've seen it before,
- 45:16Speaker 1: like MTV something, but it doesn't really fit with.
- 45:23Speaker 8: That.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Was that I believe that was it? Yeah? Yeah, Beas
- 45:26Speaker 1: Beabs in Buttthead across America. I think that was the
- 45:28Speaker 1: MTV production I was thinking.
- 45:30Speaker 2: And the next thing they do Man, they passed on
- 45:36Speaker 2: Howard Stern's part Man. They went with Man instead.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Turns out there super picky after after they set the
- 45:46Speaker 1: bar so high with Beavis and butthead do America.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think they they now have like MTV
- 45:52Speaker 2: three is the one that actually shows music videos now,
- 45:56Speaker 2: so they've gone back, like.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Oh god, because it used to be you know, the
- 46:01Speaker 1: original MTV was all about showing music videos and music news,
- 46:04Speaker 1: and then MTV two came along and then they pushed
- 46:07Speaker 1: all the videos over to MTV two, and MTV one
- 46:10Speaker 1: started doing Real World and TRL and all these other things,
- 46:13Speaker 1: and the Homeless Guy that became a VJ contest and
- 46:17Speaker 1: now there's MTV three that's what the videos are.
- 46:20Speaker 4: And then then the reality TV took over MTV two.
- 46:23Speaker 4: Then that's when they pushed everything to v H one.
- 46:28Speaker 2: H one started doing Yeah TV. Yeah, they're like they
- 46:34Speaker 2: started the hip Hop Lives and they're like, you know what,
- 46:36Speaker 2: let's just do MTV three and if you subscribe to
- 46:38Speaker 2: some weird package you'll get it.
- 46:42Speaker 1: What the hell is going to be on MTV The OCHO.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Just gonna be like.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Hamster Raves.
