- 1:30Speaker 4: And I actually remembered yesterday to stop at the store
- 1:33Speaker 4: on the way home and get the card and then
- 1:38Speaker 4: and then figure it out.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yeah, best's very cool, cool summer something like you know,
- 1:46Speaker 2: girl together, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 1:49Speaker 5: You just sign it or do you write something?
- 1:51Speaker 2: I always write something in there.
- 1:52Speaker 4: I don't know like, do you guys write little notes
- 1:54Speaker 4: and cards so you don't just sign the card.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Ever, Yeah, I've seen, I've seen. First of all, I.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Will agonize over which card I'm not to pick the
- 2:06Speaker 4: first card you see.
- 2:08Speaker 5: It goes like into the collection, and then you like
- 2:10Speaker 5: narrow it down ten exactly.
- 2:12Speaker 4: These are these are the consider the considerations, and then
- 2:15Speaker 4: from there I go all right.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Well, this one's better than this one. This one's out.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Let me ask you this one, this one's.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Out in your head. Do you start with mood? Like,
- 2:22Speaker 3: am I going for funny? Am I going for heartfelt?
- 2:24Speaker 3: Am I going for Yeah? Of course, Yeah, that's how
- 2:27Speaker 3: I narrow it down.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a if.
- 2:29Speaker 4: There's a cartoon front, you know that's gonna be finning.
- 2:32Speaker 4: I can't decide.
- 2:33Speaker 5: I'll do one romantic and one funny, and then they
- 2:35Speaker 5: get both.
- 2:36Speaker 4: If one has that little like kind of like rope
- 2:37Speaker 4: that goes like down the spine, those are the fancy
- 2:42Speaker 4: ones have almost like a little graduation tassel.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Those are very fancy that.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Comes with a sticker for the envelope. Oh what I
- 2:50Speaker 2: don't like.
- 2:51Speaker 4: I don't like the ones that have like now that
- 2:54Speaker 4: what's the one that really fancy card brand. Yeah, they
- 2:57Speaker 4: have like blocks of wood glued to the front.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Of it and stuff.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Go for those when I'm peeing.
- 3:01Speaker 3: They're like one hundred and eighteen dollars.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Yeah, there's like that stained glass on.
- 3:04Speaker 4: I don't like the way they go into that. I
- 3:06Speaker 4: feel like because it crinkles the envelope. I don't like it,
- 3:08Speaker 4: and I.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Hate it when it has the stamp on South the
- 3:12Speaker 3: envelope is his extra postage required. I'm handing it to them,
- 3:16Speaker 3: and that ruined the aesthetic. Yea, exactly.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Yeah, but I remember to get the the kids some
- 3:22Speaker 4: cards because like that's the thing. It's like when one
- 3:25Speaker 4: of the kids going to get cards.
- 3:26Speaker 5: For their mom, I would say, their job.
- 3:29Speaker 6: But really I always got the cards from my dad
- 3:32Speaker 6: as a kid.
- 3:33Speaker 2: When I don't know, you find it, yeah, I see,
- 3:36Speaker 2: Like my kids can't get to the store on their own, but.
- 3:38Speaker 5: You can't take them to pick it out and buy it.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I am never like so by the time I get home,
- 3:43Speaker 2: they'd be like, all right, kids, we got to get
- 3:44Speaker 2: in the car to go. Where are you guys going nowhere?
- 3:49Speaker 5: Donald, That's a good point.
- 3:50Speaker 2: There's no good time to do it, Like on the
- 3:53Speaker 2: on the d L.
- 3:54Speaker 7: Yeah, they just make a card.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Though they're kids, they're old enough the printed my son's
- 4:02Speaker 4: going to be a printed card off the printer. But
- 4:07Speaker 4: those days are over. Yeah, with the matrix hole.
- 4:11Speaker 2: That's just happy birthday to my wife.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Gin know you said you do like a sentimental and
- 4:18Speaker 3: have you ever done like a morning card and an
- 4:20Speaker 3: evening card?
- 4:23Speaker 5: That's a great idea.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Can I steal that because we leave before everybody else,
- 4:28Speaker 3: So I leave one in the kitchen counter in the
- 4:29Speaker 3: morning so it's there.
- 4:30Speaker 2: When he's up. That's too much work. I love that.
- 4:36Speaker 4: It's hard enough for me to get there, get the card,
- 4:39Speaker 4: find the right card, you get it twice, get it
- 4:43Speaker 4: where I'm not FedExing something the day before.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I think that seems like something you'd be on board with. Card.
- 4:50Speaker 2: I told you I want less obligation.
- 4:52Speaker 4: I would like to stop acknowledging birthdays and stuff all
- 4:55Speaker 4: together for everybody and all other things anniversaries Valentine.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Get played.
- 5:00Speaker 5: You sound like a what is it like a Seventh
- 5:02Speaker 5: day Adventist? Or they don't.
- 5:05Speaker 4: No, I want to get past the obligations. Yeah, you'd
- 5:09Speaker 4: be suspicious of that menace. That's no not suspicious.
- 5:14Speaker 8: That's when you know you're telling them that the balls
- 5:18Speaker 8: in their court, you know, No, what do you mean?
- 5:22Speaker 8: You can love somebody, yeah, but when you actually love
- 5:25Speaker 8: them like that, they kind of that's when you start
- 5:28Speaker 8: getting played.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Morgan feels me, right, I don't like she.
- 5:31Speaker 6: Understands, well, yes, but my experiences are different than being
- 5:33Speaker 6: married with the family. She's not going to be like
- 5:36Speaker 6: you gave them two cards.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Morgan understands translate that, So.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Hold on, is it to say that, like, let's say
- 5:47Speaker 2: I did that for my wife, right, like she should
- 5:50Speaker 2: think she should be suspicious of something.
- 5:52Speaker 6: Not you, no, but me if I was dating someone
- 5:55Speaker 6: and they went a little too above and beyond, I
- 5:58Speaker 6: don't know.
- 5:58Speaker 2: It's just not a turn off in a way. But
- 6:01Speaker 2: that's not what said. No it is. It is what
- 6:04Speaker 2: I said it.
- 6:06Speaker 6: But this does not apply to you because you have
- 6:08Speaker 6: a family.
- 6:09Speaker 2: We're all I understand what is over the top.
- 6:14Speaker 3: He said, you're getting played.
- 6:16Speaker 7: You're getting played.
- 6:17Speaker 2: No, it's a funny way of saying. Yeah, So what
- 6:21Speaker 2: I think you can say the way that we can understand,
- 6:23Speaker 2: you got to.
- 6:24Speaker 7: Hold back a little, like you're not trying to be the.
- 6:26Speaker 2: One who you're being too nice.
- 6:28Speaker 7: No, you're not trying to be the one who loves more.
- 6:36Speaker 2: You look like a sucker.
- 6:38Speaker 8: Yeah, you look like a sucker. You're you're being too nice. Okay,
- 6:44Speaker 8: you know what happens when you're too nice? Guess what happens?
- 6:46Speaker 2: You get taken advantage of. Yeah, girls don't like nice guys.
- 6:49Speaker 7: You got to be a little you know, not too
- 6:51Speaker 7: over the top.
- 6:52Speaker 3: I guess I don't want to be too nice to
- 6:54Speaker 3: the person I've been with for fourteen Yeah, I get it, Greg, Well,
- 6:58Speaker 3: we have another Actually I don't don't get I don't
- 7:01Speaker 3: get the last five minutes we work with the woman
- 7:04Speaker 3: anybody's getting here at the radio station.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Her husband. They have a thing for birthdays and things
- 7:08Speaker 2: like that where they see how many cards they can
- 7:11Speaker 2: get each other. So there's like ten cards. Each person
- 7:15Speaker 2: gets like ten cards, and they hide them around the house.
- 7:19Speaker 2: That successful, so that's their thing. And then they for
- 7:21Speaker 2: the cards so they may be like one on the
- 7:24Speaker 2: table when they wake up, and then like where they
- 7:26Speaker 2: open up the cabinet to get the sugar for THEIRQ,
- 7:29Speaker 2: there's another one in there, and you know, like that
- 7:33Speaker 2: just seems like a lot.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I don't I want to revisit what menace you ended
- 7:38Speaker 3: it with?
- 7:38Speaker 2: Like, see, Greg, there you go. I tell you what,
- 7:41Speaker 2: how about gets it? And she didn't get it?
- 7:46Speaker 6: I do get it?
- 7:47Speaker 2: Thank you Morgan? All right? And he gets it too.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Turning everybody's microphones off because I'm gonna say, we're gonna
- 7:53Speaker 4: take a break and then the rest of you guys
- 7:55Speaker 4: can figure that out during the commercial break.
- 7:57Speaker 2: The rest of us, we got to take a break.
- 8:02Speaker 2: What exactly what is this? What do you show?
- 8:06Speaker 9: My welcome back?
- 8:09Speaker 2: Everybody?
- 8:09Speaker 10: Hey?
- 8:10Speaker 2: You So the Malcolm in the Middle Revival. Did anybody
- 8:14Speaker 2: watch that?
- 8:14Speaker 3: No, what I've been reading about.
- 8:16Speaker 2: It, I didn't realize it was out.
- 8:18Speaker 8: The only one that I watch've been watching that the
- 8:21Speaker 8: revival is Scrubs.
- 8:22Speaker 5: Oh, I've been watching me too.
- 8:25Speaker 11: Went on to watch Scrubs last night because I love it,
- 8:27Speaker 11: and they were pumping this Malcolm in the Middle like
- 8:30Speaker 11: nobody's business. It must have just been released yesterday because
- 8:33Speaker 11: it was on the Disney app The trailer just starts
- 8:35Speaker 11: playing and it looks really good and I do want
- 8:37Speaker 11: to watch it.
- 8:38Speaker 2: The Malcolm in the Middle Revival became the number one
- 8:40Speaker 2: season premiere of the year on Disney Plus and Hulu.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I was big.
- 8:45Speaker 3: I'm just surprised that Brian Criston agreed to it.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Well, that's why I think it's so big.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Agreed. The only one who didn't was the kid who
- 8:51Speaker 2: played Dewey right recluse.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Yeah, and he said he turned down a quote boatload
- 8:57Speaker 4: of money to do it.
- 8:59Speaker 5: Someone else marry like a much older lady. We have
- 9:02Speaker 5: somebody in college was Home Improvement.
- 9:06Speaker 2: I totally missed you've married some like Gil? Really?
- 9:11Speaker 5: Thank you?
- 9:11Speaker 2: Yuck? Yeah? Yeah? Grab all right? Eight seven seven forty four?
- 9:17Speaker 2: What is the phone number?
- 9:18Speaker 4: Sent us a text over to two to nine eight
- 9:20Speaker 4: seven birthdays porno birthdays coming on and Greg, Gloria, we'll
- 9:26Speaker 4: start with you today.
- 9:27Speaker 2: What do you got for I? Well, basically Faces of Death?
- 9:30Speaker 2: Remember that movie? Yea movie?
- 9:32Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh that's right. It was a super notorious movie.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Came out in nineteen seventy eight, which I thought it
- 9:37Speaker 3: was way later than that. It was a cult classic
- 9:41Speaker 3: because it kind of claimed to show real people and
- 9:43Speaker 3: animals dying. Yeah, totally gruesome, and it blurred the lines
- 9:47Speaker 3: between reel and fake. And I will admit I never
- 9:50Speaker 3: fully understood if it was real or if.
- 9:52Speaker 4: You never went Okay, so we were we were kids
- 9:55Speaker 4: when that was out, and that was like the big thing.
- 9:57Speaker 4: We felt like we were so like cool and dangerous
- 9:59Speaker 4: and being Now take it back at it. It's like
- 10:02Speaker 4: we would we would rent it from the store. Yeah,
- 10:05Speaker 4: and then you know, so these really were videos of
- 10:08Speaker 4: people actually dying. Why would you be able to rent
- 10:10Speaker 4: it like that? You know when when that could would
- 10:12Speaker 4: be a snuff film, right was illegal? Oh yeah, okay,
- 10:16Speaker 4: although there are videos on the internet when people I know,
- 10:19Speaker 4: you know now, yeah, Greg used to watch that kind
- 10:22Speaker 4: of stuff. But back in the day you would go
- 10:24Speaker 4: and you would get faces of death. You'd watch it.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Now it was a big deal. We didn't realize it
- 10:28Speaker 4: was a quote movie. I just thought it was like
- 10:30Speaker 4: a video that had a collection of random collection.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Gross things.
- 10:35Speaker 4: One I remember is the guy was working in the
- 10:38Speaker 4: junk yard and he was like getting something off of
- 10:41Speaker 4: a car and it was up on a kind of
- 10:42Speaker 4: a shoddy jack and then the car came down and
- 10:46Speaker 4: got him.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Yeah. I was like, oh my god.
- 10:50Speaker 3: The only thing I remember in my memory is so blurry.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Didn't they have like a monkey at a dinner table
- 10:56Speaker 3: and killed it and they were like cracking its head. Yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 3: eating the monkey brains, that's real. I'm right, but that's
- 11:02Speaker 3: the only thing I remember anyway. Here we are almost real.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yeah, they do. You know what I'm saying. But in
- 11:08Speaker 2: the Face of Death videos, none of the stuff that
- 11:09Speaker 2: you actually saw in that was real, right, It was
- 11:12Speaker 2: maybe based on real stuff, but it was that wasn't
- 11:14Speaker 2: any actual footage from stuff like that. I could have
- 11:17Speaker 2: probably been real.
- 11:18Speaker 3: And are you thinking it's real because that was an
- 11:20Speaker 3: Indiana Chance movie?
- 11:22Speaker 2: No, no, no, because that stuff still actually happen.
- 11:24Speaker 3: It really happened. Well, here we are, almost fifty years later.
- 11:27Speaker 3: They're making a new version of Faces of Death. It's
- 11:30Speaker 3: a modern version. Viral videos, content moderation, and algorithm obsession
- 11:35Speaker 3: part of how people interact with shocking stuff online. So
- 11:38Speaker 3: the new version is described officially as a reflection on
- 11:41Speaker 3: the original's legacy and modern internet culture's own morbid curiosity.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Great, so I would probably check it out.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Okay, yes, as an adult, I check it out. But
- 11:52Speaker 5: we were watching this stuff as kids. I don't want
- 11:55Speaker 5: my kid being like I.
- 11:56Speaker 6: Just saw the new phases of death.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know what, you.
- 12:01Speaker 5: That's part of being the stronger stuff.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I'm saying, part of being a kid is you know,
- 12:05Speaker 2: going and finding things and doing those kind of things
- 12:09Speaker 2: that are behind your parents back. And we all have
- 12:12Speaker 2: to remember that we were kids and we did all
- 12:14Speaker 2: this stuff and we survived.
- 12:16Speaker 4: We did like it was fine. In fact, could we
- 12:18Speaker 4: always gen X. We love to talk about.
- 12:20Speaker 2: How we were like free range kids and nobody knew
- 12:24Speaker 2: where we were and we survived.
- 12:26Speaker 6: We did.
- 12:26Speaker 8: The ones that seemed to be overprotective, like hardcore, are
- 12:31Speaker 8: the ones that end up doing the most craziest stuff.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Yeah, because when they do break free and they get
- 12:35Speaker 2: a little bit of independence, they go nuts. With your
- 12:38Speaker 2: parents always ended up having the worst kids.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Yeah, But even though we did it, and I'm speaking
- 12:43Speaker 3: as a non parent, even though we did it, I
- 12:45Speaker 3: wouldn't want my kid to do it, of course not,
- 12:47Speaker 3: you know, I'm with you. I wouldn't want my ten
- 12:49Speaker 3: year old to watch Faces.
- 12:51Speaker 5: I was stumbling. I wouldn't want it.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I wouldn't watch it with them, right, But if I
- 12:56Speaker 2: found out that they watched it, you'd get it. I
- 12:59Speaker 2: would get It'd be like.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Exactly, and I wouldn't worry too much about it, Like
- 13:04Speaker 4: you're not going to put that stuff, like you know.
- 13:06Speaker 4: I know my son is probably you know, looking at
- 13:10Speaker 4: uh you know, now, am I providing it to him? No,
- 13:14Speaker 4: Although we did have a friend who his dad used
- 13:17Speaker 4: to give him the old playboys, like once he was
- 13:19Speaker 4: done with him, he would get We always knew that
- 13:21Speaker 4: we can go over to his house and and see
- 13:23Speaker 4: those They're like, I wouldn't be that guy.
- 13:25Speaker 2: I wouldn't be that cool either. I'm also not gonna
- 13:27Speaker 2: be the I'm gonna buy the booze and you can
- 13:28Speaker 2: drink at the house.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Guy, don't tell, guy, don't ask.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Don't tell a guy. That's right. Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 8: But when it came to like faces death and all
- 13:36Speaker 8: this kind of stuff, I found it kind of educational
- 13:39Speaker 8: and like, oh, don't do that because you could die.
- 13:43Speaker 8: And it made me like never want to go to
- 13:45Speaker 8: Brazil because all the craziest videos.
- 13:48Speaker 2: All right, man, it's what you got.
- 13:50Speaker 8: Well, there's beef in the podcast world that's going down
- 13:54Speaker 8: between Alex Cooper and Alex Earl. Now, Alex Cooper is
- 13:58Speaker 8: the host of the Color Daddy podcast, which is very famous,
- 14:01Speaker 8: got like a one hundred million dollar contract, and Alex
- 14:05Speaker 8: Earl is this girl what do you would say? She
- 14:08Speaker 8: was kind of like influencer. She's been rumored to be
- 14:11Speaker 8: dating Tom Brady, and she was under Alex's Earl podcasting
- 14:15Speaker 8: network and then suddenly there's just like a separation and.
- 14:19Speaker 5: They look exactly the same.
- 14:21Speaker 8: Alex Earl stopped like doing podcasts under her company, and
- 14:26Speaker 8: no one knows why, and Alex Earl has always alluded
- 14:29Speaker 8: like there's something going on with Alex Cooper. Now, Alex
- 14:32Speaker 8: Cooper did this thing where I thought al Alxx.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I think, so Alex Earl.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Yeah, one is a L e X and one is Alix.
- 14:43Speaker 8: Okay, So alex O was the one that potentially could
- 14:45Speaker 8: be dating Tom Brady and who used to work for
- 14:49Speaker 8: call her Daddy company.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Gain popular, gain popularity for her relatable and authentic get
- 14:55Speaker 4: Ready with Me videos on team.
- 14:56Speaker 8: Exactly what the world I want to get to my point,
- 15:00Speaker 8: my point of bringing this up, Alex Earl, I mean,
- 15:04Speaker 8: Alex Cooper said, hey, look, if there's some kind of
- 15:08Speaker 8: beef or do you have something say about me, just
- 15:10Speaker 8: say it. Stop alluding to it and getting all this
- 15:14Speaker 8: press out of it.
- 15:15Speaker 2: So she's like fake drama.
- 15:16Speaker 8: Yeah, She's saying like this is fake drama. If you
- 15:19Speaker 8: have something to say, just say it. And guess what,
- 15:21Speaker 8: nothing's really been said.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Well, it's good for business for both of them. It
- 15:24Speaker 2: brings the other chick up. And you know you said
- 15:26Speaker 2: she's super popular, one hundred million dollars, you know, deal
- 15:29Speaker 2: with call her daddy. This other chick gets her name
- 15:31Speaker 2: out there because keeps on saying that. Yeah, there's this trauma.
- 15:34Speaker 8: Now for all you old heads out there, I just
- 15:37Speaker 8: want to bring this other factor up, Alex Earl. Guess
- 15:40Speaker 8: who her stepmom is. It is Ashley Dupree.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Do you know that name? Greg?
- 15:47Speaker 3: I know, I know the name, But why do I
- 15:50Speaker 3: know the name?
- 15:50Speaker 8: Well, she was the escort that took down Elliott Spitzer
- 15:55Speaker 8: the Congress, remember that. Yeah, but it was a big
- 15:59Speaker 8: thing for.
- 16:00Speaker 4: So what you're saying this is just a bunch of
- 16:02Speaker 4: scandalous hoes, scandless hose.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Yeah, behind I do like that.
- 16:08Speaker 8: If somebody said, hey, if somebody keeps on saying that
- 16:10Speaker 8: you're a bad person, call him out and say, well,
- 16:13Speaker 8: what do you have to say about me?
- 16:14Speaker 2: Say what you got?
- 16:16Speaker 5: Gina gran Okay, so you know this actress, Ruby Rose,
- 16:20Speaker 5: she is on Orange is the New Black and like
- 16:21Speaker 5: a bunch of stuff. Okay, she's making this crazy claim
- 16:25Speaker 5: against Katy Perry. And it's all over social media now
- 16:28Speaker 5: that you know, and people throw around the tin like
- 16:30Speaker 5: I was assaulted and sexually assaulted. Well, listen to this.
- 16:33Speaker 5: She says that back when she was in her twenties,
- 16:36Speaker 5: she was in this nightclub in Australia.
- 16:38Speaker 2: How's there pie?
- 16:40Speaker 5: I can tell you how Katy Perry's pie is because
- 16:43Speaker 5: Rose said that while she was like laying on her
- 16:47Speaker 5: friend's lap, like resting on her best friend's lap, she said,
- 16:51Speaker 5: Katy Perry came over, quote, pulled her underwear to the
- 16:55Speaker 5: side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face. Nice
- 17:00Speaker 5: and she said, and I projectile vomited, did you? She
- 17:04Speaker 5: said she was like drunk.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I don't buy that.
- 17:06Speaker 5: She said she didn't speak about it publicly. She downplayed
- 17:09Speaker 5: it as a joke, but a rep for Katy Perry
- 17:11Speaker 5: said this did not happen. It calls it falls and reckless.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Rose says she's not planning to file a report, but
- 17:18Speaker 5: wanted to speak out after.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Holding public report.
- 17:21Speaker 5: A public report, yeah, but to god never you know,
- 17:25Speaker 5: I know people always have beef with Katy Perry and
- 17:26Speaker 5: I'm like, I don't know.
- 17:27Speaker 2: She seems cool, But I don't buy it that this
- 17:31Speaker 2: story happened. I don't think that happened, but like, what.
- 17:33Speaker 5: A specific thing to say. I was drunk laying on
- 17:35Speaker 5: my friend's lab and then Katy Perry pulls her under such.
- 17:41Speaker 8: Yeah, I think Katy Perry might have been around here
- 17:44Speaker 8: and was joking about something like that, but I don't
- 17:46Speaker 8: think to that degree.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Yeah, pretty crazy stuff.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Wouldn't you have to contort your body a lot to
- 17:51Speaker 3: get it right.
- 17:51Speaker 2: In their face?
- 17:52Speaker 5: Maybe you straddle them maybe, I think, yeah, I mean
- 17:55Speaker 5: she was already laying down.
- 17:56Speaker 2: So there's a lot of people out there who pay
- 17:58Speaker 2: good money for something like that.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Right, and Nay Rose seems like somebody who.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Would have liked it. N you know what I'm saying, Yeah,
- 18:06Speaker 2: all right, thank you very much, Gino grab we got
- 18:08Speaker 2: the birthdays and your Pona birthday for this Wednesday morning Showy,
- 18:16Speaker 2: we're gonna shivery. We don't sit.
- 18:19Speaker 3: She was like, it's say and you know, we don't
- 18:22Speaker 3: do what it's weird.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I just have like a like a brain fart.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Okay, I get what we were doing.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah, like you finished what you were saying, and I'm.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Like, no, there was a hot.
- 18:32Speaker 2: I don't be sitting here. What am I doing? Wake up? Dude?
- 18:37Speaker 2: All right, So birthdays, we'll start with celebrities.

- 18:49Speaker 4: do it because I would have to hear it. I
- 18:52Speaker 4: would have to hear him first. Then maybe I can recreate.

- 19:27Speaker 7: Okay, I love him.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Lewis Fonsie, the global pop star best known for Desposito. Yeah,
- 19:32Speaker 4: he is forty eight. He got to Linda Perry Lyndon
- 19:36Speaker 4: Perry seemed very cool.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I went to a thing in Vegas.
- 19:38Speaker 4: It was like a radio conference, and she did like
- 19:41Speaker 4: this one on one interview there with our program director
- 19:44Speaker 4: of the radio station, and then she was performing some
- 19:46Speaker 4: of her songs, including What's Up from four nine Blunde.
- 19:49Speaker 5: She sounds mega producer, right.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Mega producer, mega songwriter, still sounds I mean on What's up?

- 20:16Speaker 2: there you go. How old is she?
- 20:17Speaker 4: A lot of vaginas showing there. She's sixty one years
- 20:21Speaker 4: old today. Yeah, they should hang out with Ruby Rose.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:24Speaker 4: Your porn of birthday day is Hadley Hayes and today's
- 20:27Speaker 4: birthday girl.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Not been that many movies, but it's really it's quality
- 20:31Speaker 2: over quantity.
- 20:31Speaker 4: You know, she's gone above and beyond in fifty eight
- 20:35Speaker 4: fine films, including Hadley Hayes delivers the ultimate stroking experience. Oh,
- 20:40Speaker 4: she was in The Desperate Virgin Thief, also Meditation and Penetration.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Good Day.
- 20:46Speaker 4: She was in Natural insemination Volume one from ride Share
- 20:50Speaker 4: to strap on Share. She was in our Stepmom's sinful,
- 20:55Speaker 4: sloppy sanctuary.
- 20:57Speaker 2: And then Greg who can.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Forget her unforgivea role and Hayes gets penetrated during a
- 21:01Speaker 4: consultation at the plastic surgeon's office.
- 21:06Speaker 2: All that on the cover.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Yeah, that's Hadley Hayes, who's thirty two years old today,
- 21:11Speaker 4: and that your porn of birthday, your celebrity birthdays and
- 21:13Speaker 4: v is a Wednesday. Look what's happening around the world
- 21:16Speaker 4: here on the entertainment my brain today in the world
- 21:21Speaker 4: of entertainment, here with the Woody Show.
- 21:22Speaker 2: There we go, how about we get we take a break. Yeah,
- 21:27Speaker 2: I go shoot some you know, I don't know, caffeine
- 21:29Speaker 2: directly into my take some pills. Oh God, wake up.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I was arrested to menace. I had we got so
- 21:42Speaker 2: carried away earlier before entertainment about like you know what
- 21:47Speaker 2: you meant when they all cards? Yeah, because I started. Oh,
- 21:53Speaker 2: today's tax day. Oh it's my wife's birthday. And then
- 21:55Speaker 2: just a smirre. All right.
- 21:58Speaker 4: Today is also National banda Day, It's National Glaze Spiral
- 22:03Speaker 4: Ham Day, and for Sammy Kay's National Laundry day, which
- 22:06Speaker 4: I know gets.
- 22:07Speaker 2: You very very exciting.
- 22:10Speaker 12: Thank you.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I had a day in history for you.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Becau don't know how much you love though I do
- 22:15Speaker 4: love it. It was today in twenty thirteen the Boston
- 22:18Speaker 4: marathon bombing.
- 22:19Speaker 5: Nice Is that long ago?
- 22:22Speaker 2: Yeah? It was thirteen years ago.
- 22:25Speaker 5: Oh I thought it just happened.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Sounds it kind of sounded like happy it was thirteen.
- 22:31Speaker 8: It's a shout out to you know, whoever was involved
- 22:34Speaker 8: with that police FBI you're watching and how quickly they
- 22:39Speaker 8: were able.
- 22:39Speaker 2: To Did you ever watch the stuff on that? Yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 2: it's cool documentary. Yeah. Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 4: They stitched together all the surveillance and cell phones and
- 22:48Speaker 4: things like that to find it.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Was like a real detective work. Yeah.
- 22:52Speaker 13: Uh.
- 22:52Speaker 4: It was today, in nineteen forty seven, that MLB's color
- 22:55Speaker 4: barrier officially broken, with Jackie Robinson playing in his first
- 22:59Speaker 4: Major League Baseball game for the Brooklyn Dodgers, which is
- 23:02Speaker 4: why today is Jackie Robinson Dayie All right, So remember
- 23:07Speaker 4: how we were talking about, I forget what the all
- 23:11Speaker 4: rules all laws started because somebody did something right, right,
- 23:15Speaker 4: and so they're like, oh, well, we have to come
- 23:16Speaker 4: up with some kind of rule in the office now
- 23:18Speaker 4: because somebody put fish in the microwaver. We got to
- 23:21Speaker 4: come up with a law now because somebody did X
- 23:22Speaker 4: Y Z, and we can't have that happen again. Right well,
- 23:25Speaker 4: uh now, this is just more proof that we can't
- 23:27Speaker 4: have nice things. Because Disneyland, Sammy announced they are banning
- 23:31Speaker 4: a very popular accessory from a good chunk of the rides.
- 23:36Speaker 4: After a rising amount of guest behavior issues, the parkers
- 23:39Speaker 4: decided to ban Stanley cups because smart every time a
- 23:43Speaker 4: guest drops one on a ride, they got to shut
- 23:46Speaker 4: the ride down and then.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Close it until the cup is removed. That's what support it.
- 23:51Speaker 7: I support it to.
- 23:53Speaker 5: Logging that giant cup around.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Why would they allow it ever on a ride?
- 23:57Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, that's very weird.
- 23:58Speaker 11: Even if you maybe bring it you a stroller, you
- 24:00Speaker 11: leave it in the stroller, but to have it on.
- 24:02Speaker 6: Is very extrange medicine.
- 24:04Speaker 2: You know what, I don't see very much anymore anywhere.
- 24:07Speaker 2: You see them a lot at at theme parks. And
- 24:09Speaker 2: the selfie sticks, you don't really see selfish those got
- 24:12Speaker 2: super band.
- 24:13Speaker 5: Yeah they got super band.
- 24:14Speaker 2: We don't see them anywhere sticks, not even at parks,
- 24:16Speaker 2: But I don't see them like in public. I'm not
- 24:19Speaker 2: going to be on board with you on that.
- 24:21Speaker 8: But guess where I saw a number of them, not
- 24:24Speaker 8: like the actual selfie stick with the cell phone, but
- 24:27Speaker 8: a lot of people bringing these like selfie large selfie
- 24:31Speaker 8: type sticks at Coachella Music Festival to not take photo
- 24:36Speaker 8: selfies of themselves, but to put their GoPros on top
- 24:39Speaker 8: of Yeah, I'm like, how do they even well, I'm
- 24:42Speaker 8: sure they stuck them in, but so many people had
- 24:45Speaker 8: them so they can I'll go above the crowd to
- 24:47Speaker 8: get video of the bands.
- 24:49Speaker 2: It was insane.
- 24:50Speaker 4: So Disney saying no more for the Stanley Cups on
- 24:53Speaker 4: a lot of the rides. According to the reports, the
- 24:55Speaker 4: average of incident related shutdowns is normally at ten percent,
- 25:00Speaker 4: but that number has gone up to thirteen percent along
- 25:02Speaker 4: with the cups. Phones Now they're banning more and more
- 25:05Speaker 4: of those, specifically phones used for live streaming mid ride.
- 25:08Speaker 4: So they're saying that the cast members are now under
- 25:12Speaker 4: very strict orders not to even start a ride if
- 25:14Speaker 4: they noticed that a guest has their phone in their
- 25:17Speaker 4: hand on their lap, where like just put it away
- 25:20Speaker 4: in your pocket, yeah, put it away.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Yeah that thing can fly out.
- 25:24Speaker 8: Oh yeah, somebody to get smoked a roller coaster.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Well, mine was my pocket thing, right, it came out
- 25:32Speaker 4: of my pocket because it was that fast.
- 25:34Speaker 5: Yeah, speedful for an old radio bit a long time ago.
- 25:38Speaker 5: I had to go on the scary roller coaster and
- 25:40Speaker 5: have my phone and they taped it to my own
- 25:43Speaker 5: like duct tapers.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, if you're doing the media things, sometimes they
- 25:46Speaker 2: have special equipment and stuff that they'll make you use
- 25:48Speaker 2: for your Yeah, it wasn't taped there go pro attachments
- 25:53Speaker 2: and stuff like that. Like when we did stuff and
- 25:54Speaker 2: we filmed something, they had some you know deals that
- 25:57Speaker 2: we had specially the wood Show into another new hour
- 26:08Speaker 2: insensitivity training for any politically correct world. Yeah, my name
- 26:14Speaker 2: is Woody. That is Greg Gory. It's like, we got Menace, Hi,
- 26:18Speaker 2: we got Gina, We've got Sea Backs, We've got Sammy,
- 26:22Speaker 2: we've got Morgan. Phones open four Woody, you can text
- 26:29Speaker 2: us two to nine eight seven finests, follow us on
- 26:32Speaker 2: social media before it's there at the Woody Show, still
- 26:39Speaker 2: trying to make a decision, Well, what else we're gonna
- 26:41Speaker 2: do this hour? A couple of things we could do,
- 26:44Speaker 2: can you get back through? That's that's always fun. It's fun,
- 26:48Speaker 2: so dumb and it's dumb.
- 26:50Speaker 4: It's the dumbest, well, not the dumbest, it's right up here. Yeah,
- 26:55Speaker 4: it's it's pretty dumb. Yeah, or some other things. But
- 26:58Speaker 4: I don't know, we could do it whatever.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like what happens? Yeah what epps.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Well, while we're still deciding on that, Gina Grads got
- 27:05Speaker 4: the trending news headlines.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Well, if you're traveling to the East coast today, you'll
- 27:09Speaker 5: want to check the status of your flight. The Midwest
- 27:12Speaker 5: was hit hard by severe weather, huge winds, giant hail,
- 27:16Speaker 5: even some tornadoes. Multiple tornadoes touchdown in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota,
- 27:20Speaker 5: and Wisconsin, over one hundred structures damage. O'Hare Airport in
- 27:25Speaker 5: Chicago was forced to issue a ground stop because the
- 27:27Speaker 5: weather was so bad. In Colorado, the snow was a
- 27:30Speaker 5: major issue and caused a seventy five car pile up
- 27:33Speaker 5: outside of Denver seventy five. So the marathon of storms
- 27:37Speaker 5: is expected to continue throughout the day and according to
- 27:40Speaker 5: fa dot gov, things are looking okay right now as
- 27:43Speaker 5: far as delays. But again, if you're traveling to the northeast,
- 27:46Speaker 5: just check the status of those flights. And after nearly
- 27:50Speaker 5: forty years, the woman famously known as baby Jessica.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Oh, I want my car back your penpal.
- 27:56Speaker 5: Well, she was arrested for an alleged domestic assault. Allegedly.
- 28:02Speaker 5: She made headlines around the world back in nineteen eighty
- 28:05Speaker 5: seven when she was trapped in that abandoned well for
- 28:07Speaker 5: like sixty two hours, when she was, you know, a
- 28:10Speaker 5: little baby. She felt twenty two feet down that well.
- 28:13Speaker 5: She was rescued when workers drilled a parallel shaft and
- 28:17Speaker 5: horizontal tunnel threw rock toget her. She did lose a
- 28:20Speaker 5: toe as a result of the fall, but she grew
- 28:22Speaker 5: up to have a pretty normal life otherwise until now.
- 28:25Speaker 5: So while the cops won't release details about the incident,
- 28:27Speaker 5: they did say that she was charged with assault causing
- 28:30Speaker 5: bodily injury involving family violence. That's all we know other
- 28:33Speaker 5: than the fact that she lives in a house with
- 28:35Speaker 5: her husband and her two kids. No one knows who
- 28:37Speaker 5: the act of violence was against or what exactly happened.
- 28:41Speaker 5: But she was released from custody after posting bond.
- 28:45Speaker 2: So when that whole thing happened, I was a little kid.
- 28:47Speaker 2: What year was that?
- 28:48Speaker 5: When seven, seven eighty seven, you're like nine or ten.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Well, if I was born in seventy six.
- 28:53Speaker 5: Oh you was seventy six.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Yeah, oh wow, Oh now I'm fifty this year.
- 28:59Speaker 4: So I was so taken with the story, and I
- 29:01Speaker 4: felt so bad for baby Jessica. I made my mom
- 29:04Speaker 4: dropped me to the pharmacy and I picked out a
- 29:09Speaker 4: card and I wrote her a note, and I sent
- 29:13Speaker 4: this card to the hospital where baby Jessica was idiot.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Oh my god, I want that card back. And she's
- 29:22Speaker 2: a domestic violencer. Yeah, and I saw her. I saw
- 29:27Speaker 2: her mug shot yesterday. I didn't know when she fell
- 29:30Speaker 2: on the well that she hit her face the whole
- 29:32Speaker 2: way down, No idea, it's crazy. And she lost the toe.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I remember hearing about that. But yeah, no idea that
- 29:43Speaker 2: she scraped her face the entire way yots to be fair,
- 29:52Speaker 2: very few mugshots flattering.
- 29:54Speaker 5: Do you remember all the movies of the week after that?
- 29:58Speaker 5: Oh my god, I remember all man.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I was just on the I was on the edge
- 30:01Speaker 2: of my seat. I was so taken with that story.
- 30:03Speaker 4: She was as a little kid, I know, but being
- 30:05Speaker 4: as young as I was, you know, it was the
- 30:09Speaker 4: it's like that the Challenger explosions. We are the world
- 30:14Speaker 4: yep across America. Oh yeah, hands across America is another one.
- 30:17Speaker 4: There was like, yeah, just a handful of things that
- 30:20Speaker 4: really kind of stuck out.
- 30:21Speaker 8: What he don't meet your heroes, man, Yeah, I've never
- 30:26Speaker 8: had skeletons.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I've never met her. But I felt, man, I
- 30:28Speaker 4: like my heart was broken for I felt so bad.
- 30:31Speaker 2: I was so worried. I was so worried for her. Yeah.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Well she's okay, she's just you know, having some not
- 30:36Speaker 5: worried about her now.
- 30:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Uh.
- 30:38Speaker 5: Speaking of heroes, this Oklahoma high school principle is being
- 30:41Speaker 5: called a hero after stopping a potential school shooting last week.
- 30:44Speaker 2: You see the video of that dude.
- 30:46Speaker 5: Police say this guy, Kirk Moore, tackled someone with a
- 30:49Speaker 5: gun at Paul's Valley High School and was shot in
- 30:51Speaker 5: the leg during the struggle. Investigators say the suspect came
- 30:54Speaker 5: in with two guns, tried open fire, but he missed.
- 30:57Speaker 5: That's when Moore rushed him, took him down, disarmed, and
- 31:00Speaker 5: with the help of another staff member. Cops say this
- 31:02Speaker 5: loser suspect later admitted he wanted to conduct his own
- 31:05Speaker 5: school shooting like the Columbine shooters did. So more is
- 31:08Speaker 5: now recovering and he says he's healthy, and while the
- 31:12Speaker 5: police chief says there's no doubt in his mind that
- 31:14Speaker 5: this guy saved a bunch of lives.
- 31:16Speaker 4: So here's a question, are we as the point now
- 31:19Speaker 4: that we don't hear about the school shootings until after,
- 31:22Speaker 4: or the potential school shootings things like this until after
- 31:25Speaker 4: there's like, oh, we have video of this thing that
- 31:27Speaker 4: happened last week.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I don't remember was there a report on it?
- 31:32Speaker 4: Was there a report on when this actually happened last week?
- 31:36Speaker 4: I know, but I don't remember.
- 31:37Speaker 2: We look at the news every day and we're scouring
- 31:41Speaker 2: for stories and did not see that? And if somebody did,
- 31:45Speaker 2: it got real buried. Yeah you didn't see you didn't
- 31:50Speaker 2: see anything. No, well yeah, of course.
- 31:51Speaker 4: But I'm saying that you didn't hear anything about a
- 31:53Speaker 4: guy going into a school and trying to shoot the
- 31:55Speaker 4: place up and you know, being you know, pumped up
- 31:59Speaker 4: by what happened.
- 32:00Speaker 6: Column that would be breaking news exactly in a normal world.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Yeh, that's a word. The point that you don't even
- 32:05Speaker 2: you don't even hear about it now until after there's
- 32:07Speaker 2: some extra video to see for it.
- 32:08Speaker 3: And this dude admitted he wanted to be like Columby, Yeah, okay,
- 32:12Speaker 3: put him in a car and go straight to the
- 32:15Speaker 3: gas chamber.
- 32:16Speaker 5: Yeah. I thought you were going to say, yeah, Louis
- 32:20Speaker 5: something like that or anything exactly.
- 32:22Speaker 2: We don't.
- 32:23Speaker 8: The news kids buried. I mean, did anybody hear about
- 32:25Speaker 8: j Lo being at Coachella?
- 32:27Speaker 2: No?
- 32:27Speaker 5: I didn't, and I didn't even believe it. I was like,
- 32:30Speaker 5: this is real. Well, police in the Bahamas have released
- 32:34Speaker 5: that dude, Brian Hooker, who they while they continue searching
- 32:38Speaker 5: for his missing wife, Lynette, and now he's speaking out.
- 32:41Speaker 5: Hooker described his time in custody as just another chapter
- 32:43Speaker 5: of hell and what he's going through right now. He
- 32:45Speaker 5: said his focus is getting back to the boat and
- 32:48Speaker 5: doing whatever it takes to search new areas find his wife.
- 32:51Speaker 5: He made it clear he's not leaving the Bahamas. Remember
- 32:53Speaker 5: we said, you know, if he leaves, he can you know,
- 32:55Speaker 5: he can come back to the United States.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Why would want to leave them?
- 32:58Speaker 5: He said, he's going to stay. He's going to search,
- 33:00Speaker 5: you know until the very end.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Yes, I read he quote has dedicated his life. Oh
- 33:04Speaker 2: did you see his Like did you see his interview?
- 33:08Speaker 8: He was doing like TV interviews and it's like I
- 33:13Speaker 8: would just imagine as a reporter, like am I standing
- 33:15Speaker 8: next to a murderer and like just asking him questions
- 33:19Speaker 8: and the sympathy. Yeah, it's just weird and I don't
- 33:22Speaker 8: know the vibes that I get, and I don't I'm
- 33:25Speaker 8: all about like innocent until proven guilty, but I don't know.
- 33:29Speaker 5: Well, his mother in law, it feels you're you right
- 33:33Speaker 5: now because she's also speaking out and saying she wants
- 33:36Speaker 5: the truth to come out, and she's holding on to
- 33:38Speaker 5: hope that finding her daughter will bring some clarity to
- 33:40Speaker 5: the situation.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I mean, it feels like he did it.
- 33:44Speaker 5: Okay, They're out on a dinghy at night without life
- 33:48Speaker 5: vests and suddenly like I lost my keys, Like what
- 33:52Speaker 5: they're like experienced like voters, So what are they doing
- 33:57Speaker 5: the vibes off?
- 33:59Speaker 6: Didn't he have some story recently where that's a new
- 34:02Speaker 6: date thing like Oh, I'm going to take you out
- 34:03Speaker 6: on a hike.
- 34:04Speaker 5: We talked about that.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's to leave you.
- 34:07Speaker 5: In the woods and this is the water version.
- 34:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:11Speaker 5: Well, there were some play in games yesterday as the
- 34:14Speaker 5: NBA A postseason got underway and the games play in
- 34:20Speaker 5: games in the league. The NBA post.
- 34:22Speaker 2: NBA Okay, I call it. I don't know.
- 34:25Speaker 5: The FBI postseason game, the Miami Heat seemed to have
- 34:29Speaker 5: things under control, but then do the screaming from the
- 34:32Speaker 5: other room when I was trying to work when the
- 34:36Speaker 5: boys were watching this. The game went into overtime. That's
- 34:39Speaker 5: when the Charlotte Hornet stepped up and won the game.
- 34:42Speaker 5: They'll play tomorrow for the eighth seed versus the loser
- 34:44Speaker 5: of tonight's game between Philly and Orlando. Meanwhile, the Portland
- 34:48Speaker 5: Trailblazers beat the Phoenix Suns and move on to play
- 34:51Speaker 5: the San Antonio Spurs in round one.
- 34:53Speaker 8: Speaking about Buried New do you see anything pop up
- 34:56Speaker 8: about basketball really?
- 34:58Speaker 2: In my house?
- 34:59Speaker 8: Never pop up like what do you mean pop up
- 35:02Speaker 8: like general like big news in your like news feed
- 35:05Speaker 8: you don't get, but about like the games or anything. Yeah,
- 35:09Speaker 8: I feel like I don't know people are Yeah, I mean,
- 35:11Speaker 8: we've been as much as any other sport when it's
- 35:13Speaker 8: in season. Really, I think I don't know. We've talked
- 35:16Speaker 8: about like I think jacked up. You know, we're falling
- 35:19Speaker 8: out of love with basketball. The numbers are way down
- 35:24Speaker 8: on it.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I mean, I don't watch it.
- 35:26Speaker 4: I'm not a I'm not a basketball guy, but I
- 35:28Speaker 4: am a sports guy in general. So like I that
- 35:31Speaker 4: stuff is in my stuff is in my feed.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been to one NBA game in my whole life.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Really so much fun.
- 35:38Speaker 4: It's one of those funing to me. It's one of
- 35:40Speaker 4: those for me, like it's fun to be there. I
- 35:43Speaker 4: don't like watching it on television, although when you get
- 35:45Speaker 4: into the playoffs, I can watch a playoff game. I
- 35:47Speaker 4: could pretty much watch a playoff game for almost any
- 35:49Speaker 4: sport like real sport.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I could watch the World Series.
- 35:53Speaker 5: What about table tennis that's an Olympic game.
- 35:55Speaker 2: No, I can't watch that playing. Yeah, it's fun.
- 35:58Speaker 5: That is fun. And finally, the NFL reporter Diana Russini.
- 36:02Speaker 5: She stepped down from her role at The Atlantic following
- 36:04Speaker 5: the craziness of those photos you know that popped up
- 36:07Speaker 5: online of her and Patriots head coach Mike Rabel dancing
- 36:10Speaker 5: together in that hotel hot dub together. The images had
- 36:13Speaker 5: a lot of people questioning her professionalism, especially since she
- 36:16Speaker 5: and Rabel are both married. So this is what she
- 36:18Speaker 5: posted to social media. She says she stands by her
- 36:21Speaker 5: work and by the way she's covered the NFL but
- 36:24Speaker 5: she pushed back, saying that all the rumors quote continue
- 36:26Speaker 5: to escalate, and I have no interest in submitting to
- 36:29Speaker 5: a public inquiry that has already caused more damage than
- 36:31Speaker 5: I'm willing to accept. And she added that she's resigning
- 36:35Speaker 5: not because she accepts the narrative that has been constructed
- 36:38Speaker 5: around the episode, but because I refuse to lend it
- 36:41Speaker 5: further oxygen or let it define me or Mike.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Or they told you like, look, we're gonna give you
- 36:46Speaker 2: a chance to step down.
- 36:47Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll get stink all over the Atlantic.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Or we're gonna let you go. Yeah, it's gonna look
- 36:51Speaker 2: better if you step down then if we fire you.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Exactly swallwell, none of this is true. So I'm gonna quit.
- 36:58Speaker 8: Dumbask Hyler was reading me the statement as it was breaking,
- 37:02Speaker 8: and I go, why quit? Like, just keep your job?
- 37:06Speaker 8: But now what you said, but you're not really giving
- 37:08Speaker 8: them the op Yeah, it makes a little more sense.
- 37:10Speaker 4: There's this industry guy here recently where it was like, oh,
- 37:13Speaker 4: so and so is stepping down, and the thing is like,
- 37:16Speaker 4: I know the real story, and it wasn't a step down.
- 37:20Speaker 4: It was a you need to step down, yeah, or
- 37:22Speaker 4: you're going to be asked to leave kind of situation.
- 37:25Speaker 4: You've been here a long time. We're gonna give you
- 37:27Speaker 4: the opportunity to gracefully exist.
- 37:30Speaker 5: They should make that clearer he's been asked to step down.
- 37:35Speaker 5: What's guys, I told your producer that I want to
- 37:38Speaker 5: be introduced now. I don't want to be inside or
- 37:39Speaker 5: I don't want to be Scoot City podcast host.
- 37:42Speaker 13: I just want to be milk, just straight up milk.
- 37:46Speaker 5: She got what she wanted, right, Yeah, she's meantastic and
- 37:50Speaker 5: again we totally want to be friends with her.
- 37:53Speaker 2: She sounds fun.
- 37:53Speaker 5: Yeah, she sounds super.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Fun in doses. I was gonna say for about five minutes.
- 37:58Speaker 4: Yeah, for five minutes, and then I think I would
- 38:00Speaker 4: have Yeah, I think i'd be exhausted.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Yours I do like a good character.
- 38:05Speaker 9: Yeah right, Well, we're gonna play around them.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Can you get back through it? Here's how it works.
- 38:19Speaker 2: We're gonna find somebody and they're gonna be our quote contestant.
- 38:25Speaker 2: All right.
- 38:26Speaker 4: Their job is to when we hang up with them,
- 38:29Speaker 4: get back through in the time that we have allotted,
- 38:32Speaker 4: which I think.
- 38:33Speaker 2: It was five minutes.
- 38:34Speaker 4: Yes, Yeah, we'll give you, we'll give you, we'll give
- 38:36Speaker 4: you five minutes to try to get back through.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Now, if you can get back through, you're gonna be
- 38:41Speaker 2: the winner.
- 38:41Speaker 4: But this is where everybody else who's listening gets to
- 38:45Speaker 4: play along effort. Yeah, so everybody else who's listening, your
- 38:51Speaker 4: job is to c block them and to try to
- 38:53Speaker 4: keep them like you tie up the lines we got
- 38:56Speaker 4: We've got ten lines that come in here, ten lines
- 38:59Speaker 4: that come you tie up the line so that the
- 39:02Speaker 4: person can't get back through.
- 39:04Speaker 2: If they get back through, they win the prize. Everybody
- 39:07Speaker 2: else's calling in.
- 39:07Speaker 4: If you are the person who's on the line when
- 39:09Speaker 4: the time expires, you will be the winner.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Yes, so everybody's got a chance to win. Eight seven
- 39:15Speaker 2: seven forty four? Whatdy is the phone number? That's eight
- 39:17Speaker 2: seven seven forty four? Whaty? We added a wrinkle to
- 39:21Speaker 2: this game the last time we did it, and we're
- 39:22Speaker 2: gonna be asking everybody a question. Okay, And so the
- 39:26Speaker 2: question today is if you were giving a crystal ball,
- 39:29Speaker 2: what would you ask about your future? Yeah, so just
- 39:33Speaker 2: a real quick think about it as you as you're
- 39:37Speaker 2: calling in. Yeah, let's say you got access to a
- 39:39Speaker 2: crystal ball. What would the one question? What would the
- 39:43Speaker 2: one question be that you would use that crystal ball
- 39:47Speaker 2: for all right? All right, so eight seven seven forty four. Whatody?
- 39:50Speaker 2: That's eight seven seven forty four. Whatdy? Let's go to
- 39:54Speaker 2: line number one here. We'll start here at the top.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Who is this? Hey, This is Nick from Anaheim? All right, Nick,
- 40:00Speaker 2: this is Nick. Everybody all so, uh, Nick, did you
- 40:05Speaker 2: get a password? Don't say what it is? Did you
- 40:08Speaker 2: get did you get a password from from Morgan? Okay?
- 40:11Speaker 2: So Nick has been given a password. So if somebody
- 40:13Speaker 2: else calls in and says, oh, it's Nick, then we
- 40:16Speaker 2: think and we think kind of sounds like Nick, We'll ask,
- 40:18Speaker 2: We'll ask for the password that will confirm it. So Nick,
- 40:21Speaker 2: you're gonna have five minutes to try to get back
- 40:23Speaker 2: through on the same number. You just call it eight
- 40:25Speaker 2: seven seven forty four, wouldie? Everybody else your job is
- 40:29Speaker 2: to keep Nick from being able to get in on
- 40:32Speaker 2: the lines.
- 40:33Speaker 4: All right now, Nick, I'll ask you, since we already
- 40:35Speaker 4: have you and everybody else is calling in, uh, to
- 40:38Speaker 4: try to keep it from calling. If you got access
- 40:41Speaker 4: to a crystal ball, what would you ask about your future?
- 40:44Speaker 2: What would the one what would the one question be?
- 40:47Speaker 14: So at the risk of something a little morbid.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Nobody wants to know how they're gonna die, but like.
- 40:53Speaker 4: When when I'm the same, Yeah, I'm the same. I
- 40:57Speaker 4: think that's my number one question, just when.
- 40:59Speaker 2: I don't necessary need to know how, Although it depends
- 41:02Speaker 2: on when it what the answer is, because if it's
- 41:04Speaker 2: like somewhere not that distant future, like, then you're like, wait,
- 41:07Speaker 2: well when yeah? All right, So nick, uh, I'm gonna,
- 41:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna get ready to hang up on you. Here,
- 41:16Speaker 2: are you ready? I'm ready?
- 41:18Speaker 4: Okay, So we'll hang up on you, and then you're
- 41:20Speaker 4: gonna have five minutes to call back in.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Are you ready? Good luck?
- 41:26Speaker 10: One?
- 41:26Speaker 2: Two? Three? Again? I hung up, and let's go to
- 41:30Speaker 2: the phones. What do you show? Who is this Robert?
- 41:35Speaker 2: So you get a crystal ball? What's the one question
- 41:37Speaker 2: you're asking? How many kids are gonna have?
- 41:45Speaker 10: All right?
- 41:45Speaker 2: All right, what do you show?
- 41:47Speaker 9: Who's this.
- 41:49Speaker 2: One? Hey?
- 41:50Speaker 4: You get a crystal ball? You get to ask one question?
- 41:52Speaker 4: What's the question you're gonna ask?
- 41:56Speaker 2: Oh? Really? All right? Cool? Good? What do you show? Hello? Hello? Yeah,
- 42:04Speaker 2: who is this David? You get a crystal ball? What
- 42:11Speaker 2: question you're gonna ask?
- 42:14Speaker 1: Does my dog really like?
- 42:18Speaker 2: Does your dog really like you? What is going on?
- 42:23Speaker 2: Is everybody? It's a hard question. It's a hard question.
- 42:27Speaker 5: I don't think at all anything.
- 42:30Speaker 2: What do you show? Who's this? Robert? Robert is the
- 42:34Speaker 2: same Robert. They're just called uh no, no, okay, different,
- 42:38Speaker 2: different Robbie. All right, so Robert, you get a crystal ball?
- 42:41Speaker 2: What question are you asking? What's for dinner? Crystal ball?
- 42:49Speaker 2: You know what I think I'm gonna do. I think
- 42:50Speaker 2: I'm giving up on the question. Forgot the question, because
- 42:53Speaker 2: is it? That is it? Hard? Yeah? All right, and
- 42:56Speaker 2: we're wasting and we're wasting too much time. What do
- 42:59Speaker 2: you show? Who is see? What do you show? Who
- 43:01Speaker 2: is this? Edie? Eddie? You were not the person we're
- 43:05Speaker 2: looking for? Hey, what do you show? Who is this?
- 43:10Speaker 6: Hi?
- 43:11Speaker 2: How are you? Lindsey? Not not Nick? But okay, thank you?
- 43:18Speaker 2: What do you show? Who's this?
- 43:22Speaker 15: Uh?
- 43:23Speaker 2: Huh? All right, dude, we played this game several times anytime.
- 43:29Speaker 5: This is between yesterday and today.
- 43:33Speaker 2: The weird ass energy that's going on. What do you show?
- 43:36Speaker 2: Who is this?
- 43:39Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 43:40Speaker 2: Pick up again on all right, jesus, all right, what
- 43:43Speaker 2: do you show? Who's this?
- 43:46Speaker 8: Hi?
- 43:47Speaker 2: Brittany, Hi, Brittany?
- 43:48Speaker 4: How are you all right, Brittany, did you have it
- 43:50Speaker 4: just out of curiosity? Did you have a question?
- 43:52Speaker 2: Not quite an answer for the question if you had
- 43:54Speaker 2: a crystal ball? What what answer would you want?
- 43:58Speaker 5: I guess I want of the popular.
- 44:03Speaker 4: One, another popular one. That one seems to be pretty
- 44:06Speaker 4: much under everybody's control.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I would go with zero. Yeah, yeah, what do
- 44:11Speaker 2: you show? Who's this?
- 44:13Speaker 14: Hey?
- 44:15Speaker 5: Hey?
- 44:16Speaker 2: The nick?
- 44:18Speaker 8: Yes it is?
- 44:19Speaker 2: Hey, what hold? Let's it?
- 44:22Speaker 4: Kind of does sound like a nick? What is the
- 44:27Speaker 4: what is the password that you were given?
- 44:30Speaker 2: That would be? Thank you know what? Thank god he
- 44:36Speaker 2: got through. That was so terrible. Yeah, that was so terrible.
- 44:43Speaker 5: We couldn't do another minute.
- 44:45Speaker 2: It makes me never want to do that. Game might
- 44:48Speaker 2: have killed it. I think that might have.
- 44:50Speaker 16: Yeah, you know, like you have a food that you
- 44:52Speaker 16: have been fine, but then you get sick on it
- 44:54Speaker 16: one time and then like bananas are forever ruined for
- 44:58Speaker 16: my mother, Yeah, because it's the last things she had
- 45:00Speaker 16: before she broke.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Out with like food poisoning.
- 45:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll do it.
- 45:03Speaker 2: And she used to love bananas. Yeah yeah, yeah, now no,
- 45:06Speaker 2: no no more.
- 45:07Speaker 11: Nick.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Congratulations you are the winner. Thank you, You're welcome. We're
- 45:12Speaker 2: gonna We're gonna get you set up for my birthday today,
- 45:14Speaker 2: believe Yeah, birthday, all right, Happy birthday, Happy birthday. Congratulations.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Hang on one second, we'll get all of your information. Damn.
- 45:26Speaker 5: He was meant to win, dude.
- 45:28Speaker 2: I don't have to be like that.
- 45:29Speaker 3: I once went like, I think it was twenty years
- 45:31Speaker 3: without tacos because I overdid it and got sick.
- 45:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I could talk. So Sammy, you have the crystal ball.
- 45:37Speaker 4: What question are you asking?
- 45:39Speaker 11: I think my question honestly, you guys, oh my god,
- 45:42Speaker 11: we'll probably.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Be the kid thing.
- 45:44Speaker 5: Really, yeah, you control that though you don't what do
- 45:48Speaker 5: you mean.
- 45:48Speaker 7: You don't like you don't know if you are going
- 45:50Speaker 7: to get pregnant or not.
- 45:52Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, like you.
- 45:56Speaker 7: Like, yes, you're in.
- 45:57Speaker 11: Control of not using protection and all of that sort
- 45:59Speaker 11: of thing. But there's plenty of people who I know
- 46:01Speaker 11: not being able.
- 46:01Speaker 7: To have kids.
- 46:02Speaker 4: I thought she was gonna, you know, wonder if she
- 46:05Speaker 4: and Steamboat Willie would get married or yeah.
- 46:07Speaker 2: You know, something like that. I want to have kids.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Yeah you do. I didn't know that. I didn't know
- 46:13Speaker 2: that either. I thought you were one of these new kids.
- 46:15Speaker 2: I thought she was more like I love being an
- 46:17Speaker 2: aunt don't want to be a parent kind of people.
- 46:19Speaker 13: No, but I just I guess.
- 46:21Speaker 11: I mean, I've been I'd been single for so long
- 46:23Speaker 11: before meeting Steamboat Willie too that I don't. I also
- 46:26Speaker 11: never put too much stock into it because it may
- 46:29Speaker 11: not happen. So I don't want to put that pressure
- 46:32Speaker 11: on myself to like find someone and oh my gosh,
- 46:34Speaker 11: because I need to do this, that I still need
- 46:37Speaker 11: to make.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Sure Sammy, don't anybody don't do it.
- 46:42Speaker 5: Okay, I'm not you though, to be such a good parent.
- 46:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, it's not this is this is not
- 46:49Speaker 4: a statement on Sammy. Yeah, I'm saying I look at
- 46:51Speaker 4: I look at people who have an adult life with
- 46:54Speaker 4: an adult job, like not not even like just trying to,
- 46:58Speaker 4: you know, get their career going. Like they're in their career,
- 47:01Speaker 4: they're doing it and they don't have kids?
- 47:03Speaker 2: Why am I? And I do? And I do love
- 47:07Speaker 2: my kids. I do, but my wife and I we
- 47:09Speaker 2: fantasize all the time about like, man, if we didn't
- 47:12Speaker 2: have them, what would life be like? What would that
- 47:14Speaker 2: look like? Where would we go, what would we do?
- 47:16Speaker 5: What would we bed?
- 47:19Speaker 2: And we see it all around us, we see it,
- 47:21Speaker 2: you know, menace or Greg, it's pretty awesome. And every
- 47:25Speaker 2: time I check in with my friends to have kids.
- 47:28Speaker 5: Thinking about this though, because kids are having kids and
- 47:31Speaker 5: maybe I just got lucky. But having kids is not
- 47:33Speaker 5: that bad, and it's actually I like it. So at
- 47:36Speaker 5: some point we have to come up with a list
- 47:39Speaker 5: of things that you like about having kids, because I
- 47:41Speaker 5: do like having a kid.
- 47:43Speaker 2: What do you like about it?
- 47:44Speaker 5: I think it. I think he's fun. I think it
- 47:47Speaker 5: teaches me how to be patient, how to be a
- 47:50Speaker 5: good leader. I think he makes us laugh. He's easy.
- 47:55Speaker 2: I like it. Nice kid. Yeah, baby fever.
- 48:01Speaker 3: The times I get baby fever is when I see
- 48:03Speaker 3: little kid clothing in the store.
- 48:06Speaker 5: Anything anything that's a normal person, thing that's small.
- 48:11Speaker 4: Right, I guess, Sammy. Let me let me revise, Let
- 48:14Speaker 4: me revise my advice. Okay, if it happens, great, if
- 48:20Speaker 4: it doesn't great.
- 48:22Speaker 11: Right, yes, yeah, And that's what you guys never even
- 48:26Speaker 11: knew that I wanted to have, because it's just.
- 48:29Speaker 2: I mean, it's not kind of setting yourself up for that,
- 48:34Speaker 2: you know, so you wouldn't be like completely devasted. But
- 48:36Speaker 2: some people do get like completely devastated when they figure
- 48:38Speaker 2: out that they can't have kids, well they make their personality.
- 48:41Speaker 5: Well, if you want to have your own biological kids
- 48:44Speaker 5: or if that's not as important. It just depends on
- 48:46Speaker 5: the person.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just I guess maybe just when you're when
- 48:50Speaker 2: you're it and.
- 48:51Speaker 5: You have teenagers.
- 48:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm saying just but you know, ever since they
- 48:55Speaker 4: were babies, it's like a man I think, well, Greg,
- 48:57Speaker 4: when you get the baby fever.
- 48:59Speaker 2: It's the same way when people.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Uh, they like the they like the chase of something,
- 49:06Speaker 4: you know, those kind of people like they're they're into
- 49:09Speaker 4: trying to get the job, and then once they get
- 49:11Speaker 4: the job to.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Kind of lose interest. They're really interested in getting married
- 49:14Speaker 2: and having.
- 49:14Speaker 4: The bridle shower and the bachelor party, planning all this stuff,
- 49:21Speaker 4: and then the actual wedding happens and then it's like
- 49:23Speaker 4: just real regular married life and maybe they're not into
- 49:26Speaker 4: it as much anymore.
- 49:28Speaker 2: You know, all the idea of having a baby, Oh
- 49:29Speaker 2: we're gonna have baby showers, I get to I get
- 49:31Speaker 2: to put a nursery together, and like.
- 49:33Speaker 5: All that messing stuff is gonna last for six months.
- 49:35Speaker 3: It's not more about a baby, because babies sounds so
- 49:39Speaker 3: defly boring to me.
- 49:41Speaker 2: I want.
- 49:42Speaker 3: I want a kid like five, Yeah, right, a baby?
- 49:46Speaker 3: What could be more boring?
- 49:47Speaker 5: I get to snuggle.
- 49:48Speaker 7: Completely agree with you.
- 49:50Speaker 11: I am more of like I like toddlers honestly, I
- 49:52Speaker 11: really do. Babies to me are super boring. They don't
- 49:55Speaker 11: do anything. And I've always said that I'm gonna give
- 49:57Speaker 11: my baby to my mom for the first year because
- 49:59Speaker 11: she loves it.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Take it, send up to a trainer. Can somebody raise
- 50:04Speaker 2: my kids for five years?
- 50:05Speaker 5: No? No, no, no, I well five maybe, But I absolutely
- 50:08Speaker 5: know for a fact if you had a toddler, you
- 50:10Speaker 5: would give them back immediately. They don't want language, they
- 50:12Speaker 5: don't want to screen their parents.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't get that either. They make no sense toddler.
- 50:20Speaker 2: That's why that trick works. Jessica.
- 50:24Speaker 5: We did it at our appearance.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Yeah, where's Jessica there?
- 50:25Speaker 4: Yeah at our last event there was like some kid
- 50:27Speaker 4: crying and you tried it and it.
- 50:30Speaker 5: Worked worked, Like where's Jessica.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Yeah, the kid just immediately stopped crying.
- 50:34Speaker 8: I know this sounds crazy, but I would think teenagers
- 50:37Speaker 8: would be way cooler. I know, like, oh, they hate
- 50:40Speaker 8: their parents or whatever, But I don't know. It's just
- 50:43Speaker 8: like we could talk about a lot more stuff.
- 50:45Speaker 4: You think, but they don't want to talk to you
- 50:47Speaker 4: about that stage because remember when you were a teenagers
- 50:49Speaker 4: you want to go to your parents and that's a
- 50:51Speaker 4: normal thing.
- 50:52Speaker 2: It's still normals.
- 50:52Speaker 4: And going back to what somebody on the text uh says,
- 50:56Speaker 4: you know what, he hates his kids for sure, that's
- 50:58Speaker 4: why he buys their love. No, I've told this, I've
- 51:02Speaker 4: told this to everybody a thousand times. I love my kids.
- 51:05Speaker 4: I hate being a parent. There, that is two. Those
- 51:08Speaker 4: are two different things.
- 51:09Speaker 5: It's very honest answer.
- 51:10Speaker 2: I am.
- 51:11Speaker 4: I will say I'm not very good at a lot
- 51:13Speaker 4: of things. I think I'm a really great father, meaning
- 51:16Speaker 4: that I give them love, affection, attention. I listen to them,
- 51:21Speaker 4: I reason with them, I'm patient with them, believe it
- 51:24Speaker 4: or not, you know, I'm I am there for them
- 51:27Speaker 4: and I will do anything for them. It's the everything,
- 51:31Speaker 4: the responsibility, all the stuff that come like there's all
- 51:33Speaker 4: this tremendous pressure as a parent when you're thinking like man,
- 51:37Speaker 4: like you know, I just need to get this kid
- 51:39Speaker 4: through high school and get them launched into being an
- 51:42Speaker 4: independent person.
- 51:43Speaker 2: And they do.
- 51:43Speaker 5: Everything to fight you on their own.
- 51:45Speaker 4: Good right, Yeah, exactly, and all the things that come like,
- 51:48Speaker 4: it's your issue when the when the kid has an
- 51:51Speaker 4: issue or there's a problem or whatever, it's your problem.
- 51:53Speaker 2: Is a parent, that's the stuff that sucks. Like when
- 51:54Speaker 2: you're an antknople, you don't. You don't. You can't tell
- 51:57Speaker 2: me as a parent that you enjoy that part. Yeah,
- 51:59Speaker 2: So the being a parent part where you actually have
- 52:01Speaker 2: to be the parent and you know, the come down
- 52:05Speaker 2: on things and be the disc that's the part that
- 52:06Speaker 2: really sucks.
- 52:07Speaker 4: You can love those kids and you can do everything
- 52:10Speaker 4: and be a be a really supportive person. But the
- 52:13Speaker 4: other thing I don't pretend to do. I don't pretend
- 52:15Speaker 4: to sit there and like, oh my god, I'm gonna
- 52:17Speaker 4: play nineteen rounds of candy Land. I do right, see
- 52:20Speaker 4: that's and and you know, oh, let's go grab a
- 52:23Speaker 4: bunch of stuff and do crafts.
- 52:24Speaker 5: Yeah, let's we did that.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Let's go mad Like we're also not we're not travel
- 52:30Speaker 2: sports parents.
- 52:31Speaker 4: Wife, no, right, like so like we we've had we
- 52:34Speaker 4: have boundaries. We do play games with them. We will
- 52:36Speaker 4: play it, not nineteen rounds.
- 52:39Speaker 5: My husband and I divide cosser. He goes and plays
- 52:41Speaker 5: all the sports and I'm like, where's the crafting box.
- 52:44Speaker 11: And that's the thing, is the difference to what he
- 52:45Speaker 11: is that you have two kids who can play with
- 52:48Speaker 11: each other. When you have one kid who has no
- 52:50Speaker 11: one else to play with other than you, you really
- 52:52Speaker 11: do feel bad and you play with them more because
- 52:55Speaker 11: it's such a different situation.
- 52:56Speaker 2: That's yeah, And he's an extra thing that was suck.
- 52:58Speaker 3: The most about being a parent is the bill arrives
- 53:00Speaker 3: at the restaurant. Yeah, like a dad with a huge
- 53:04Speaker 3: family and then the bill comes. We're like, damn, dude,
- 53:07Speaker 3: that's just splitch. You're paying for all these freeloaders.
- 53:12Speaker 2: I know, Wait, dependence, wait till the college stuff. I
- 53:16Speaker 2: was just talking to another parent, another friend of mine,
- 53:19Speaker 2: and their kid is looking at schools right now. And
- 53:23Speaker 2: there's there's one school that his daughter's looking at and
- 53:27Speaker 2: it's eighty four thousand dollars a year.
- 53:30Speaker 5: Well, she better get a job, she better find some
- 53:32Speaker 5: scholarship money.
- 53:33Speaker 4: Eighty four thousand. And that's that's not even the room
- 53:36Speaker 4: and board and all the other stuff. That's just the
- 53:38Speaker 4: tu issue. Eighty four thousand dollars.
- 53:42Speaker 5: I cannot imagine drop that kid off at the fire department.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and I can comprehend how some people enjoy being
- 53:51Speaker 2: like my sister is one of these people. She is, well,
- 53:53Speaker 2: she's one of those people. It defines her.
- 53:55Speaker 5: She's Bill for yoh, yeah, she's Bill for yeah, like
- 53:59Speaker 5: people who are like the Mama Bear t shirts.
- 54:03Speaker 2: The Woody Show. Yeah. So we had the crystal ball question,
- 54:09Speaker 2: you know, like you know, if you.
- 54:11Speaker 4: Had access to the crystal ball, like, what's the one
- 54:13Speaker 4: question you'd want to know? And I got in the
- 54:16Speaker 4: whole conversation about how many kids am I going to have?
- 54:19Speaker 2: Greg? And I would want to know when? When? Not how?
- 54:23Speaker 2: I mean, I wouldn't mind knowing how. Yeah, but you
- 54:24Speaker 2: get one question, when when will I die? Yeah? When
- 54:29Speaker 2: is is what I would want to know. I don't know, manace,
- 54:32Speaker 2: what would you say?
- 54:33Speaker 8: He didn't, I didn't know it was. I think it
- 54:35Speaker 8: was pretty tough. I was like, maybe I would want
- 54:37Speaker 8: to know when or where where would I be in
- 54:40Speaker 8: twenty years? Where would I'll come up with? I mean,
- 54:44Speaker 8: I guess maybe where I'll be so it's less dark
- 54:46Speaker 8: in twenty years.
- 54:47Speaker 2: What did they said in the ground?
- 54:49Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, dazy yeah. Would it be burial or cremation?
- 54:58Speaker 2: Burial? Burial? All right? So yeah.
- 54:59Speaker 4: They would say, oh, in the ground, or they said, oh,
- 55:01Speaker 4: you're sitting on someone's shelf, scattered. I thought you were
- 55:07Speaker 4: a cremation yeah.
- 55:09Speaker 5: And Gina, yeah, when when? When's always been the question?
- 55:12Speaker 4: Trying to think of some other good questions. People have
- 55:16Speaker 4: a question like will I ever be able to retire? Well, yeah,
- 55:20Speaker 4: you know that's that's that's a big one, I know.
- 55:23Speaker 5: Will I die poor?
- 55:25Speaker 2: Well, I mean, look, you want to die. You want to.
- 55:27Speaker 5: Die having spent your yeah, having spent your last dollar.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Yeah, the day before you.
- 55:32Speaker 4: Die, right, I mean that's it's the same with your taxes, right,
- 55:35Speaker 4: speaking of Oh I have something for you, Greg, I'll
- 55:37Speaker 4: play here in a second.
- 55:38Speaker 2: This is so Greg.
- 55:40Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 55:40Speaker 4: When when you talk about like taxes and how much
- 55:43Speaker 4: is being withheld from your check, the idea ideally is
- 55:47Speaker 4: to not ow and not get.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Any kind of refund. Ideally you get no. No, that's
- 55:54Speaker 2: not ideally, because the government is held onto your money.
- 55:58Speaker 2: That means ideally you break even. But it's way more
- 56:01Speaker 2: fun when you get a refund. It's better to get
- 56:02Speaker 2: a refund than the oh. But ideally, that way they're
- 56:05Speaker 2: not holding on your money. You have you have all
- 56:08Speaker 2: your money don't forget the word more. You don't owe
- 56:10Speaker 2: them any money, they don't owe you any money. Everything's
- 56:12Speaker 2: square oh more. Yeah.
- 56:15Speaker 4: So people think, okay, well, well I am I going
- 56:18Speaker 4: to be working till the day I and uh, you know,
- 56:21Speaker 4: will I be able to retire?
- 56:22Speaker 2: What's my life look like?
- 56:24Speaker 10: You know?
- 56:24Speaker 2: If I get to retire my golf card?
- 56:26Speaker 5: Are my kids going to be f ups?
- 56:28Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 56:29Speaker 4: I would say go back and going back to the
- 56:30Speaker 4: kids thing. I mean, my wife and I like, man,
- 56:32Speaker 4: all we want we want them to be happy.
- 56:35Speaker 5: And independent, productive members of society.
- 56:38Speaker 4: Let's go independent first and then happy second. Yeah, you
- 56:40Speaker 4: can work on the happiness. Happiness can be a work
- 56:43Speaker 4: in progress, right, It's a journey.
- 56:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:47Speaker 3: But I also think if I was a parent, this
- 56:50Speaker 3: is so because I'm I think I'm inherently selfish, I
- 56:52Speaker 3: wouldn't be too obsessed with what am I going to
- 56:54Speaker 3: leave my kids? That's that's their problem.
- 56:56Speaker 5: I kind of agree, and good buddy. In radio, Mark
- 56:59Speaker 5: Thompson has always said he's going to be on his
- 57:01Speaker 5: deathbed buying stuff on Amazon's his kids.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:05Speaker 4: I mean that's the idea too. The idea is to
- 57:07Speaker 4: you worked so hard for your money mm hmm, enjoy
- 57:11Speaker 4: it right, right, like if you are a balance there.
- 57:15Speaker 2: Sure.
- 57:15Speaker 4: Now I'm not big on the whole thing of like
- 57:18Speaker 4: take the trip, go on the vacation when you don't
- 57:21Speaker 4: have it, right, because people get themselves in some really
- 57:24Speaker 4: deep ish because things do happen in life and you're
- 57:26Speaker 4: gonna need something like so you should be saving, whether
- 57:29Speaker 4: it's just for a rainy day or for eventually when
- 57:32Speaker 4: either you can't work or you don't want to work anymore. Right,
- 57:35Speaker 4: So I we're talking to the ideals here. I realize
- 57:37Speaker 4: there are people super you know, Razor thin, right exactly
- 57:42Speaker 4: kind of just get the check and it's gone kind
- 57:44Speaker 4: of thing. But in a perfect world, like, yeah, you
- 57:47Speaker 4: don't want to be putting yourself in a bad situation
- 57:50Speaker 4: because then you're going to be even in a worse situation.
- 57:51Speaker 5: Yeah, you don't need to be treating yourself all the time.
- 57:54Speaker 4: Yeah, but for future you at the same time, like,
- 57:57Speaker 4: why would you want to die with a bunch of
- 57:59Speaker 4: money left over?
- 58:00Speaker 5: I know that's the other people like I want to
- 58:02Speaker 5: create generational wealth. I'm like, what do I care?
- 58:04Speaker 2: What do I care? Yeah?
- 58:06Speaker 3: Alright, so here's finally pay off your house and then
- 58:08Speaker 3: you die and then somebody else gets the fruits of
- 58:10Speaker 3: your labor.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:11Speaker 2: So for for tax Day, Greg, this is this is
- 58:14Speaker 2: an old Chris Rock bit that he did on taxes,
- 58:16Speaker 2: and all I could think about was Greg. This is
- 58:18Speaker 2: what Greg's been saying.
- 58:19Speaker 12: It's worth making minimum wage came up about two hundred
- 58:22Speaker 12: dollars a week, and then they would take out fifty
- 58:24Speaker 12: dollars in taxes. That's a lot of money if you
- 58:27Speaker 12: make Twitter the week, man, I start kicking Wednesday and
- 58:29Speaker 12: Thursday and eat. It's okay, fifty dollars a week in
- 58:35Speaker 12: tax amount.
- 58:36Speaker 2: What do I get for my tax money?
- 58:37Speaker 12: Get all the free street light in the world, as
- 58:40Speaker 12: far as I'm concerned, to give everybody a candle to
- 58:42Speaker 12: give my fifty dollars back.
- 58:47Speaker 2: I hate I hate checks.
- 58:49Speaker 12: I hate to find to put two amounts of money
- 58:51Speaker 12: on your check.
- 58:53Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 58:53Speaker 12: It's like, this is the money you bust your week,
- 58:56Speaker 12: and this is what you're gonna get.
- 59:00Speaker 2: Dragsman saying right the Woody Show, All right, excuse me,
- 59:08Speaker 2: We're into another new hour of The Woody Show. Phones
- 59:12Speaker 2: open eight seven, seven forty four, Woody text over to
- 59:14Speaker 2: two to nine eighty seven. My name is what that is?
- 59:17Speaker 4: Greg Gory, We got messed what we got Gina grad
- 59:20Speaker 4: Sea Mass is right there, we got.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Sammy and Morgan is here.
- 59:25Speaker 4: He and Morgan has a pret pretty significant update when
- 59:30Speaker 4: it comes to her fight. Boy, do I that uh
- 59:34Speaker 4: that is happening next weekend? So it's it's supposed to
- 59:36Speaker 4: be a week from this Saturday?
- 59:39Speaker 6: Correct, hurrahs in Philly?
- 59:43Speaker 2: Yeah, as she calls.
- 59:44Speaker 6: I love how y'all have just embraced it. That's the
- 59:46Speaker 6: name of it.
- 59:47Speaker 2: It was just the way that you said. It's like,
- 59:49Speaker 2: you're like, guys, I got an actual fight. It's gonna
- 59:51Speaker 2: be in Philly, Like, oh where You're like, uh harahs,
- 59:55Speaker 2: I mean Harris.
- 59:58Speaker 4: Anyway, So that there is a significant Gig is unaware
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: of this. I think the rest of us are, but
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: Greg is unawares.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: On Greg and everyone else. My opponent dropped out yesterday.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: Why because quote injured elbow? Oh sure she told the matchmakers,
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: but nobody within you know, the organization, the company believes it.
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: That's what I would say too, if I was scared.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: It was her.
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: History of turning down people and all this stuff.
- 1:00:24Speaker 14: So did you sign any kind of financial I'm sure
- 1:00:26Speaker 14: you didn't because it's an amateur fight. Is there any
- 1:00:28Speaker 14: financial repercussion possibly for her?
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: You know what I'll ask because I didn't get a purse,
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: so like my contracts, you know, there was no repercussion,
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: but there might have been for her because I don't
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: know if she was going to get paid or not.
- 1:00:41Speaker 14: Also, I kind of called this earlier because she's just
- 1:00:43Speaker 14: too hot to be fighting, That's.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: What I'm saying.
- 1:00:45Speaker 14: She doesn't have that dog in or two pretty, she's
- 1:00:47Speaker 14: got too big a boobs.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: Yeah, so what's the follow up? Are you going to
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: get a different opponent or is it just scrapped?
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: No, they're working on finding the opponent now because this
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: happens a lot. And well they had as of yesterday.
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: I got a call. I was talking to the CEO.
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: They have five girls that are in so nice.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Okay, that's good.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: I knew you'd find.
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: With this type of card and like you know how
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: popular you know, and viral quote unquote, it's going to be. Yeah,
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure they'll get someone that'll want to hop
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: on it. But if not, they said, like, we'll find
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: something for you, like, you know, well not even that
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: I'm not ring girl type. But but they said, oh,
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: you could do something with Krashan maybe, So I'm like, oh,
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: like it could just be my way into the Zeus network.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: So does that mean like you wouldn't like find something
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: for It means you wouldn't fight.
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: Well to go away in fight and fight, right.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: They say, we would find something like what you were
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: just talking about right there there, that would not be
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: a fight. Right.
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: If I'm there in the fall fight doesn't happen, then
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: they're just going to use me for.
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: You gotta feel kind of good about yourself knowing you've
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: been putting up all this crazy content. You intimidated the
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: ish out of her, and now it's basically way for it.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: Maybe, I mean maybe I thought, you.
- 1:02:03Speaker 14: Know it, I thought she took down all her good
- 1:02:06Speaker 14: boxing videos because she did not.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: Want Yeah that's but I haven't even been posting any
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: boxing stuff because I didn't want her to see me
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: and get this. A couple of weeks ago, my old opponent,
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: her manager reached out to me and said, hey, can
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: we come video you training? We want to work on
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: a promo video. And I'm like, hell no, you can't.
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: Like so just they've been acting there this whole time, Like,
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: so I think she got nervous. I do, She's too
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: pretty to get hit, Like.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: So when do you know or when would you find
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: out if you're going to have somebody new to fight.
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: As soon as someone says yes, I'm.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Saying, but they have five people who are interested, right.
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: So they're picking and like, I don't know the behind
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: the scenes process. I just told them I'll fight anybody.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: I don't care.
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: I say, you get through this one thing and then
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: like reach out to the EUOC and their whole boxing
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: thing that they're getting off the ground because I'll be yeah, way,
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: well the more professional.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: There's no women there, it's only male, right.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Well, you can help start it.
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: Yeah, that's professional though.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Male.
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: Oh that's good.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Greg, I'll say no.
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: No, you can't, and no one ever goes that way.
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: Never trailblazer.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Death in the ring. It would be awesome.
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure someone died before. But yeah, shout out
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: to my ex opponent for being scared.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: So does the new opponent, for lack of a better word,
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: have to be quote famous or could it just be anybody?
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: No, I think they're just gonna go for anyone that's interested.
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: Morgan's gonna make her famous by quickest to knock out.
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: Well, it used to be like, oh, they both need
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: to be debut fighters. At this point, they're like, we'll
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: take anyone, like I'll take anyone.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Waits this other girl that you were gonna fight, she
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: had she had had a fight before.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: She was also a debut fighter.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: She was also going to be a debut fighter. Okay,
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: and they've been trying to get her a fight for
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: a while.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Same. Yeah, I thought she was a fighter. Man, she's
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: all give some random chick off the street in Philly.
- 1:04:03Speaker 14: Yeah, because maybe her sister is part of this fight
- 1:04:11Speaker 14: and she's like fifty, isn't she?
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: I don't know, Fatima, No, in the meeting, she didn't
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: look fifty anyways. I would say maybe their upper thirties.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Okay, So of the five people who are interested, is
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: there time to get it coordinated?
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: Because oh yeah, they said they've replaced a fighter in
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: one day's notice, Like this is what they do in
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: the fight game. Stuff like this happens all the time.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: They didn't tell you, like when they would have an
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: answer for you because they don't know that you're training.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Because the blood testing.
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: Well yeah, that takes a couple of days unless you
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: get it expedited or whatever.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Like the UFC fight that we went to, didn't they
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: do like a day of change.
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: Yeah, they can replace people quick really. Yeah, okay, because
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: this happened, you could.
- 1:04:52Speaker 11: Potentially go to like on the day of the fight
- 1:04:55Speaker 11: and not have an opponent opponent and end up with.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: One and end up fighting right like I'm gonna and
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: do all that stuff.
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: Five says when they changed the weight, I knew something
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: was up. I think she asked for the weight change
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: because they were hoping Morgan would balk. But Morgan's a
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: down ass bitch, And yeah, I.
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: Was thinking maybe she wouldn't make weight, Like credit to her,
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: she has a nice rack and and I kept thinking, like,
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: how is she going to get so small?
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Yeah, because she was.
- 1:05:22Speaker 14: She's a boxing well quote unquote trainer, boxing trainer, but
- 1:05:25Speaker 14: more of like a fitness trainer that does boxing, which
- 1:05:28Speaker 14: is just check more.
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: Modeling stuff, right, model boxing.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: Well, well, we'll keep everybody updated. You keep bus updated,
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: and we'll keep everybody else updated. I will, I will
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: because I know there's a lot of people who are
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: interested to watch the pay per view.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Yep, and.
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: Don't buy the like if you bought it, apologize like
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: things will work out, I trust, but pause on that.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:51Speaker 14: Yeah, there's a lot of people think see that have
- 1:05:54Speaker 14: flights and hotels that they bought.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: When he's already paid thousands of.
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: And I told him that on the call, I said,
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: and everyone on my show has invested in so much
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: in this, you know, like this is a big thing
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: in the crowd.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Well, because we wanted we want it for you, you know,
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: because it's really no, because it's been super important to
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: her and it's something that she's been working towards and
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: really wanted to do, and we want to you know,
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: we want to support her and make it so that
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: she can she can do this.
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: Well, yeah, it wouldn't be possible.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Would be a really expensive trip to Philadelphia, right, Yeah, exactly.
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: Maybe we can give you as like a backup to
- 1:06:36Speaker 8: fight Ronda Rousey just in case you know, that fight doesn't.
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: Yeah again, I'm ready for anything you get out of
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: an arm bar. Oh no, I can't to go to
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: sleep though.
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: Did did you bring this stuff to do any kind
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: of training?
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: I have my gloves, headgear, all kinds of stuff.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: I'm okay because Sammy has agreed to help Morgan train
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: because Morgan was asking us to hit her. Yeah, and
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: I don't feel comfortable doing that, So call me crazy.
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: I don't feel comfortable hitting her. I mean I was down,
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: but there's got to be some kind of like rule
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: against that. But I figured, well, you know Gina or Sammy,
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: and I figured just the you know.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Gina might do some damage. You think, yeah, of course, yeah,
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: because like, well, well here stand up next to uh.
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: I do pretty well on one of those like.
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: Yeah you're weight, you're yeah, you're way closer like, but
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: they think about like featherweight Sammy over there.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Yeah, So it'll be good for like the more and
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: more of the training kind of things. So Sammy is
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: gonna have the gloves on and she's gonna be Belton
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Morgan for training anything where she's like giggling and pretend.
- 1:07:50Speaker 11: No, you got to hit me, but but you'll be like,
- 1:07:54Speaker 11: hit me harder, like even my hardest hit.
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: I don't think you're going to feel like it's very hard.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: All right, Well, I know you want to hit me,
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: just do it hard. And for the overarties, yeah, we'll deliver.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: For the god you know who probably hit her would
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: be Tyler.
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: Oh, I'm sure he would.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: Understanding. We can you know, we can always call him in.
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: Yeah, I'll do anything for the Yeah, all.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Right, so gear up, Sammy. And then so yeah, when
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: when you're when you're training for you know, getting hit.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: You know, I know the athletes like NFL, you know players,
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: they have to they're they're training, they're practicing and stuff.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: They say, it doesn't really become real until you take
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: a hit. So like when you're training for this kind
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: of thing, like obviously you're not going like one hundred percent,
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: but like trade, like what do you wanted to do?
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: Is she gonna like like socking in the gut? Is
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: she punching in the face?
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: Go for whatever you want. I was thinking more body shots.
- 1:08:51Speaker 11: Yeah, she could reach your head, right, but you should
- 1:08:56Speaker 11: go one hundred percent Sammy. Okay, And I I can
- 1:08:58Speaker 11: if I go for a body never be able to
- 1:09:01Speaker 11: punch her in the face.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Maybe that's what we bring Tyler and for.
- 1:09:07Speaker 10: I always go for these no so big for this
- 1:09:11Speaker 10: for this, like is it like Adam Sandler and Happy
- 1:09:14Speaker 10: Gilmore where he's standing in the batting cage like and
- 1:09:18Speaker 10: taking taking the balls from the pitching machine.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Are you allowed to block.
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: No, I think, well, you are supposed to block with
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: your elbows, right, but I think with this purpose, I
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: need to practice what it feels like to get hit. So, okay,
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: I'm not blocking anything. He's just gonna go at me.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: All right, Blacky.
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: So Samy's gonna get all geared up and some training
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: with Sammy for Morgan's hopeful fight. Hopefully we have a
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: fight coming up next weekend.
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: I believe.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: Yeah, keep us, keep us updated. We're gonna take a
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: quick break. We got more. What he showed next, hang up,
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: mor what he shows next? Next?
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: Next?
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: Sam's got the world's smallest head, tiny right, and then uh,
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: this head here that you brought doesn't even fit over her.
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: Head, which is crazy because I hear it you do.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well she's also got the glass.
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: Yeah, it's gonna break my gud, but she's she's not
- 1:10:11Speaker 7: getting hit.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: It was just more for the visual and it looks
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: so funny. She's got the gloves. This is the glove.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: The gloves are on.
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: And they're paying, all right, So this is this is
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: your training, Morgan. So Morgan is training for this fight
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: it's supposed to happen next week, and she's been she's
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: been training on you know, you gotta you gotta know
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: how to take a punch.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: Yeah, And so none of us, none of us fellas
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: on the show, felt comfortable punching, which is what she
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: asked for in the first place.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: See, i'd be well, first of all, I wouldn't want
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: to punch Morgan. Second of all, she would kick my ass,
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: I know, but.
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: Her mind.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: If we were in a boxing match, I would go
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: down in one second.
- 1:10:58Speaker 8: And I just want to also put it out there
- 1:11:00Speaker 8: that Morgan is not wearing one of those stomach guards
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: that people are during boxing.
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: She's not putting like a phone book in her Yeah.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: So had no no padding on Morgan.
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, I go over there, HU.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: Feel her abs hold on? Yeah, God damn Morgan.
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: I would ask, but like, I'm not, I'm not touching it.
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: I could literally do my laundry on.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: So is that like it's like it's like concrete.
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a wash word.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Yeah all right. So and then just uh, here we go,
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: she's away, here we go. So, uh, now you got
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: to tell Sammy exactly what you want her to do.
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: Okay, So, is just like one punch at a time,
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: or is she just kind of boom boom boom boom boom.
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: Kimi's into it. Just go like maybe one and wait
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: a couple of seconds and then you can speed it
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: up once you get Now do you.
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: Want do you want her to do you want her
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: to give you? Like like do you want to see
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: like just how hard she can punch? Just like if
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: she gave your her heart ist punch?
- 1:11:57Speaker 11: Yes, give me your heardest, just like do you I
- 1:11:59Speaker 11: need to do one, and then first to try and
- 1:12:01Speaker 11: make it my hardest.
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: Imagine weird guy following you in an alley like hit
- 1:12:06Speaker 6: me like that, right.
- 1:12:08Speaker 11: Okay, My first punch usually is not as hard, and
- 1:12:11Speaker 11: then once I get going, I can do it harder.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: All right, all right, Usually we got the microphone set
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: up because this is what you can hear it, right,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: and then menace is getting some video. We'll be able
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: to post the video and you can you can check
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: it out. Are you ready?
- 1:12:25Speaker 13: I give it to me?
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: All right? Here we goes tom oh, be back.
- 1:12:33Speaker 6: All that's way harder than I thought she would.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: Really really, Now hold on compared to like what you've
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: been using for training, like like, how how does the
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: power compare?
- 1:12:43Speaker 12: Oh?
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: Well, it's it's less that I've been training with wives,
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: for sure, but I've been training guys.
- 1:12:48Speaker 5: Okay, give it up, Sammy.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: Guys, all right, wherever.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: Sammy give her like give her like one yeah, just
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: like if you had like one you know that game.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: But what's the game? That video game?
- 1:13:06Speaker 5: Like the speed bag punching bag.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: Yeah, like your power so like.
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: Kind of binge your knees and like use your legs
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: to like push into it. Okay, I'm not up.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, an uppercut all right? Yeah, don't take a
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: blue belt like all the belt.
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: But that's okay.
- 1:13:24Speaker 7: Ye wasn't great.
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: You have to talk.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Your mom.
- 1:13:31Speaker 7: I think like going under kind of got me, threw
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: me off right.
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: You could throw a hook whatever you Okay, Sammy, try
- 1:13:46Speaker 6: like yelling or grunting when you hit. Okay.
- 1:13:48Speaker 11: Morgan's so muscular that I don't feel bad punching her
- 1:13:50Speaker 11: because I don't think she feels it.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: It's like, all right, fun Morgan smiling.
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: Yeah, now, Morgan, would you be okay with her punching
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: you in the face? Yes, Okay, I don't have it
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: in me. I know I do you.
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: I'll put the head gear on and you can do it.
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, put the head gear on.
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: I really want to see this.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Put the head gear on. There she goes. She loves it.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: I came in with the black eye the other day,
- 1:14:20Speaker 6: like you can hit me where that okay?
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: So where she's supposed to punch.
- 1:14:24Speaker 6: You then the cheek I mean ideally not the nose. Okay,
- 1:14:27Speaker 6: So like go for the side of the face. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: what the angle we're at, It's.
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: Going to be my left hand.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Sea Bash just made a really rude comment to you.
- 1:14:43Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, we'll surpriss surprised.
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: Take it on a more.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: That was the left you your right hand?
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: You turn, maybe turn the other way because yeah there,
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: yeah right.
- 1:14:58Speaker 13: Here, jump off still to reach bending down?
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: Why is Tyler masturbating Samy? Do you legit want to fight?
- 1:15:16Speaker 8: Because we have an old phone screen in Vanessa same
- 1:15:19Speaker 8: size as you and she boxes too.
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: I mean, listen, you guys.
- 1:15:22Speaker 11: I don't want to brag, but I did go to
- 1:15:24Speaker 11: a boxing gym for like a week on a free.
- 1:15:28Speaker 6: I'm not kidding. You're way better than I thought you
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: would be. Yeah again, that's what I'm saying. Anyone else
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: like I want to do you? Yeah?
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: Come on, really, I try it.
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, Gina, you're gonna try it whatever. Yeah,
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: and then and then we'll uh then we'll we'll take
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: the break. Yeah, Menace has the the video. He'll be
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: able to post this so everybody can see you know
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: what you're tyler once? Then all right, yeah so you.
- 1:15:54Speaker 5: Uh can I do the body first?
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: Yeah? You did a great job, Sammy, really good. Yeah.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: I don't well, I.
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: Don't think I'm that strong, but.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Okay, yeah.
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: That didn't hurt really harder, alight, I'm gonna put my
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: shoulder into it.
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: Yeah, use your legs.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: So are you left handed? Okay, yeah, that seems.
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: Very uh go one to the body and then immediately
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: one to the head like like a combo.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: How about yeah, how about how about a right? How
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: about a right and then the left to the head. Yeah, yeah,

- 1:19:47Speaker 4: had some burritos delivered here to the radio station.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: Oh hell yeah, And Sam, just quick tip a little
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: earlier in the day.
- 1:19:55Speaker 14: Be nice because we've already probably eaten at this point.
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: Oh no, yeah, look I just date during the commercial
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: break and it was wonderful.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Leon.
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: By the way, up until yesterday, was the only person
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: that I know that has a Woody Show.
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: Tattoo, Yeah, where it actually says the wood Show.
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: My name is Woody with the logo and my show.
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: I don't have a Woody Show tattoo. I don't have
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: a Woody Show sticker on my car. I mean I
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: do wear you know, like a Woody Show hoodie or
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: something like that. I mean that's that's that's hardcore.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: That's hard core. Uh yeah, so.
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: Leon, I mean he got his years ago. Oh yeah,
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: and then somebody hit us up yesterday because Gina, you
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: you text me about it.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: I must have missed yeah, I must have missed this
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: on social media. This uh this woman.
- 1:20:46Speaker 5: A bitch, Tanya.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: Yeah, she she got a Woody Show tattoo on her arm,
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: but like on her like bicep.
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: Yeah, like a big tattoo Woody Show.
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: And that's you know, we did like these old school
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: run DMC style logos for these limited edition shirts and
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: some hoodies that we did, and that it's that version
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: of it. It's not the you know, the traditional o
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: G Woody Show logo.
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: I don't know if this is a why did she
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: do it? Well, I'll read it. I don't know if
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: it was for air, but I think it's really lovely,
- 1:21:20Speaker 5: so hopefully she doesn't mind.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: Well, she posted on social media.
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: Well now she's DM me this. Oh but I hope
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: it's okay because it's it's cool. She says, I absolutely
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: love you guys. I started listening when I first got sober,
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: and the Woody Show has helped me through more than
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: you know, and said I'm glad that I came on
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: the show, and blah blah blah. So she got a
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: huge tattoo and she's wow.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: Bad. See, I would think you do something like that
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: when you're hammered, not when you're sober.
- 1:21:45Speaker 5: It's a bad decision, not a good decision.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:21:48Speaker 5: We love her. Wow, she's come to events. She's so nice,
- 1:21:52Speaker 5: she's awesome.
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: She got a good tattoo artist. It's not easy to
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: get a perfect square like that.
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: Oh right, Well you have to filled into well.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: Terrible, it's not I don't think it's that easy because
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: I see some of these tattoos that look like photographs
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: and I'm like, man, the detail on that is incredible. See.
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: I like the idea of a tattoo. I think it'd
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: be cool. But first of all what and where right?
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: At this point? Don't do it right? And on this body?
- 1:22:22Speaker 14: No, I couldn't pull, and you can get custom temporary
- 1:22:24Speaker 14: tats of anything now, so there's no you know, yeah,
- 1:22:27Speaker 14: but I.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: Wouldn't want to do that. That's that's pussy. It's kind
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: of early to see if you want it or not.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: That's true. Yeah, But what I think.
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: Your wife would make fun of you.
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: She should you got a tattoo. She doesn't have one either. Thing.
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: We've talked about my wife and I've talked about that.
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: I think we're like the only two people that we
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: know that don't have one.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: This room have at least one.
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: No, I don't have any.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: Oh, you don't have anything.
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: I technically do, but I don't know if it counts.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: Because one year my friend, after we did a thousand
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: podcast episodes, he got both of our faces on his arm,
- 1:23:04Speaker 5: and everyone's like, oh, I love the feeling. I love it,
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: And I was like, well, I want to feel it.
- 1:23:08Speaker 5: So I just had him put a little g behind
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: my ear.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: Lobe, just like I feel it's tattoo.
- 1:23:12Speaker 5: I forgot it was there. It's not like I was like, oh,
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: those big where.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: Is it just like a little Oh I can't even
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: from where I'm sitting, I can't even see it.
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: But if I do like the feeling, I get why
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: people like to do that. Yeah, yeah, kind of gets
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: you going.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: I got one.
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: When we're at the radio, there's a bunch of they
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: had like a bunch of radio you would have loved
- 1:23:35Speaker 8: this sea bass.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: They had a whole, like big huge board of different
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: radio tattoos that you could get. We're getting them like NonStop.
- 1:23:44Speaker 14: I mean, it's that's by the way, that's something that
- 1:23:46Speaker 14: is much more common just setting up tattoo like I
- 1:23:50Speaker 14: got I said before, I've seen it at the Raiders
- 1:23:53Speaker 14: game they have all that rule which makes sense for
- 1:23:56Speaker 14: Raiders fans, but like.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: Is that sanctioned or was it in the parking lot part?
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: And well yeah, but both. It was in the official
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: Raiders tailgate area. They have a whole and it was
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: a big line for it. Hell yeah yeah.
- 1:24:06Speaker 8: At the radio convention it was non tracks for radio people,
- 1:24:10Speaker 8: but it was it was insane because like some of
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: them were like their first tattoos and they were like
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: super visible areas for your first tattoo.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: You shouldn't go like super for a job you're not
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: gonna have in six months. We ESPN right now, they
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: do have ESPN the same SPN plus right now, we do. Yeah,
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: the same story. Yeah, I tell the story.
- 1:24:38Speaker 8: Well, there was a certain guy. He really loved the
- 1:24:41Speaker 8: radio station he worked at. Uh huh, and he got
- 1:24:44Speaker 8: a tattoo of that radio stations call letters everything big one, cool,
- 1:24:49Speaker 8: big visible one, and what like within twenty hours.
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: Within within like a day or two, within a day
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: or two, they fired him. Everything is. Here's the he
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: did this on the air. It was like a thing, right,
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: that's okay, I mean.
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: I know, Samuel with a sign, take a break whatever.
- 1:25:10Speaker 4: Here here's so, there's a guy does a morning show.
- 1:25:16Speaker 4: Just had his six year anniversary at the radio station.
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: This was on Monday, did his sixth anniversary show yesterday.
- 1:25:26Speaker 4: They let him go, Dick move. He just did a
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: big like six yeah, sixth anniversary thing and they let
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: him do this knowing.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: And here's the other thing.
- 1:25:38Speaker 4: So I reached out to somebody who works in that company,
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: and I said, hey, what the hell?
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: Because I thought this guy was, you know, really well
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: liked and it seemed to be like a you know,
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: a good show. And I said, what the hell's going
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: on here? I don't know. Good.
- 1:25:52Speaker 4: We just we just met with him and we're talking
- 1:25:55Speaker 4: about all these like plans from like now to the
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: end of the year for the show and you know,
- 1:25:59Speaker 4: like things that we do, like the different events and
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: things that we plan ahead.
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: And it went through all that stuff just to like
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: the next day, I wonder what the reasoning was, Like
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: why wait, Here's the thing I would ask.
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: I would ask the company if anybody from the company
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: he's listening, which we know they're not. You know, don't
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: don't have to sit through meetings if you know you're
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: gonna let us go, you know, don't don't sit here
- 1:26:24Speaker 4: and and have you know, plans.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: That or like hey, let's go over this that don't
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: make us do all the work just to just to
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: just to let somebody go that.
- 1:26:35Speaker 8: I was reading in our trade I told you I
- 1:26:37Speaker 8: was reading in our trades the other day that they
- 1:26:39Speaker 8: were it's gonna be letting go of like morning show people.
- 1:26:42Speaker 8: And I go, man, they're gonna let me go, Like
- 1:26:45Speaker 8: don't make me go to work that day.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: Yeah, like, don't make me early in the morning.
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: Yeah, do the show, and then after like yeah, dude,
- 1:26:53Speaker 8: just call me forre like, hey, we don't need you that.
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: Day, give me an hour afternoon get my stuff. Yeah,
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: we go through. Yeah, let me sleep in for a
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: little bit.
- 1:27:07Speaker 15: Show.
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: Yeah, Gina's getting her dog, mom but animal. Yeah, she's getting.
- 1:27:14Speaker 5: Her pet, my bunny.
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: She's getting her pet. What's what's the breed called again?
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: Katone de Tulier.
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: So cute.
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: It sounds like it should be like a cologne. Yeah,
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: tuliar available at.
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: Cotton from Madagascarliar Madagascar, Okay, cotton dogs of Madagas Madagascar.
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: I think of like those roaches like this this Metagascar. Yeah,
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: Madagascar doesn't sound like cute or cuddly because I just
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: think roaches like I associate that.
- 1:27:50Speaker 8: Well, like one of the ugliest animals on the planet
- 1:27:53Speaker 8: comes from Madagascar.
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: The I I I gotta see that. It looks like
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: a little blat like bat thing. It's weird.
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: Are they the ones with the huge eyes?
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: It's called I I yeah, I I. Oh, that's a
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: good question. Uh.
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: I've been meaning to ask Bort Bort Star Wars Freak.
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: It completarly unrelated that what we're talking about with dogs
- 1:28:09Speaker 4: and stuff, is it is the at at or is
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: it the at at it's both.
- 1:28:14Speaker 15: Oh, technically, technically it's both, because they said it one
- 1:28:18Speaker 15: way in the movie is to say another way, and
- 1:28:20Speaker 15: TV and other medium's video games, so they've said that
- 1:28:24Speaker 15: in Cannon it's at at or at eight.
- 1:28:26Speaker 8: Okay, But in the movie, the first time it's ever said,
- 1:28:29Speaker 8: what is it said?
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: As I believe it was at eight?
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: Oh okay, and then there aren't both the letters capitalized.
- 1:28:38Speaker 15: Yeah, it's like I said, it's it's literally one of
- 1:28:40Speaker 15: the Star Wars cartoons, they say it both ways in
- 1:28:42Speaker 15: the cartoon, just to say you can say it anyway
- 1:28:44Speaker 15: you want.
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: All right, Well, Gina's getting her dog when it's in May,
- 1:28:48Speaker 4: May thirteenth, all right, and she's already gone hammer on
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: Amazon doing all this stuff. Now, now before you tell
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: us what you get or what you've already bought, or
- 1:28:57Speaker 4: what you're planning on getting. This is kind of like
- 1:29:01Speaker 4: because you're a first time dog.
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: Owner, Yeah, welly puppy owner, you've had a dog. Well
- 1:29:06Speaker 5: I had that dog. I had a dog for a
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: four months.
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I was gonna say because it was a
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: senior dog.
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: Yeah, when people have not had a pet or a
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: dog or whatever before It's like people when they have
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: their first baby. They're getting this stuff that you don't need,
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: like the baby white warmers thing, you know, those different
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: those different things.
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: One thing that I'm curious if you guys, what's.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: The dumbest thing you bought?
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: Well, I know you're gonna I think you'll think it's dumb.
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: I think it's genius. I've been researching and since this
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: is a puppy who isn't gonna want to sleep by
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: itself in a crate, I got it this big white
- 1:29:44Speaker 5: because it's white, so maybe I don't think it's his mom,
- 1:29:46Speaker 5: this big white stuffed animal that has a heartbeat inside
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: so she can snuggle up against it, and she'll think
- 1:29:53Speaker 5: it's her medicine.
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: I just looked each other at the same time.
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: It's just battery operated.
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: Heart stroller for stroll manace on scale one to ten.
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: How dumb is that?
- 1:30:06Speaker 8: The heartbeat thing? I mean, yeah, I honestly doesn't make sense.
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: They'll think it's like sleeping next to it.
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: Yeah, it's like punch the monkey.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: Yes, I'll give it. I'll give it a six six.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to see. I gotta have to see
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: if it actually works.
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: I researched for me.
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: It says, you'll think, well, okay, fine, research said parentheses.
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: You'll thank us later if you get this heartbeat dog.
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: But it's not going to be like a puppy puppy
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: like it'll already be weaned off.
- 1:30:41Speaker 5: Yeah, but the mother right, it's gonna be ten weeks.
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: And then how much was that? No?
- 1:30:46Speaker 4: How much was it for this stuffed animal?
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: For an animal?
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: Okay, I will tell you. I'll give you exact number
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: down to the penny. But can I please just say
- 1:30:56Speaker 5: this is so anti who I thought I would be.
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: I was, And you said this dog is never going
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: to touch the grounds.
- 1:31:02Speaker 5: That's me now, as I'm saying, but in my life,
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: I would never buy a dog. It never occurred to me.
- 1:31:08Speaker 5: But it's happening.
- 1:31:09Speaker 7: Oh wait, every time the dog or the heart beat thing,
- 1:31:10Speaker 7: you know heart.
- 1:31:16Speaker 5: Both the dogs don't get me started. The heartbeats thirty
- 1:31:19Speaker 5: five dollars.
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: Oh that's not that dumb, it's still dumb.
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: It's going to sleep in bed with you.
- 1:31:25Speaker 5: Well no, well we I want it to. But apparently
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: these are velcrow dogs like ships who was like just
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: always under your feet? So they say, you really do
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: want to put it in its crate. Let it know.
- 1:31:34Speaker 5: It has its own bedroom. It doesn't have to be
- 1:31:36Speaker 5: attached to every second. I'm going to be a mess.
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: Texas Gena. We got that heartbeat dog for our puppy
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: and it didn't work. Puppy wanted nothing to do with it.
- 1:31:46Speaker 5: Yeah, thirty five bucks will try it.
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: Yeah, so she don't get normal stuff like Lisha's I got.
- 1:31:50Speaker 5: Okay, here's a list. I got puppy treats, enzyme spray
- 1:31:54Speaker 5: for pee and poop, comb kit, the puppy heartbeat thing,
- 1:31:59Speaker 5: the shampoo, two dog beds, another brush, a super two
- 1:32:05Speaker 5: different super cute bowls, water bowls, a thing of blankets, oatmeal,
- 1:32:11Speaker 5: doggie shampoo, a set of only five toys.
- 1:32:14Speaker 4: You're gonna be washing this dog yourself. Oh you're not
- 1:32:16Speaker 4: gonna have a person come bathe the dog.
- 1:32:19Speaker 5: I've done that well.
- 1:32:21Speaker 10: Uh.
- 1:32:21Speaker 5: To harness and leashes, I did light pink and hot
- 1:32:25Speaker 5: pink and took them out because they didn't want my
- 1:32:27Speaker 5: husband to have to walk it in a hot pink flesh.
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: So I did base.
- 1:32:35Speaker 5: My problems pads, a play pen, he pads, and that's it.
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: But I do want to purse, all right, Uh says
- 1:32:45Speaker 4: we got the heartbeat puppy for our boxer puppy and
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: can confirm he loved it and slept with.
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: It, okay, and I slept with it, probably banged it.
- 1:32:52Speaker 5: Yeah, Because do the girl dogs do that too?
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:32:57Speaker 6: Oh yeah, periods like.
- 1:33:00Speaker 5: Yeah, you have to get them fixed.
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: They're not fixed. Yeah, but they'll they'll do the whole
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: humping things.
- 1:33:05Speaker 5: Think they're accomplished it.
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: I don't know. Ask them. I have no idea that's
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: a girl. Yeah, they're trying to bump donuts. They are.
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: I've seen of huaha female. It just grabs the toy and.
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you're a female dog, Why are you doing that?
- 1:33:20Speaker 5: I don't want it to do them.
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: They never grow out of it either. What I thought
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: you guys endorsed adoptions.
- 1:33:28Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: I do not of animals exactly.
- 1:33:32Speaker 4: No, no, no, like in all honesty, yes, I can't
- 1:33:35Speaker 4: believe I'm doing that. Yes, if you can find the
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: animal that you want and whatever. But at the same time,
- 1:33:40Speaker 4: I also have no problem with people who you know,
- 1:33:43Speaker 4: get themselves up purebread whatever.
- 1:33:46Speaker 5: Well, and I will say you get you get.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: The dog that you want, You get the animal to
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: get the one that you're actually going to take care
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: of and not give up and send back.
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: And I did, and I researched so many shelters it
- 1:33:56Speaker 5: took forever, and I found this one Maltese had three
- 1:34:00Speaker 5: legs named Tripod, that I fell in love with, and
- 1:34:04Speaker 5: I was ready to go. But then they said, do
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: a house with no kids. He has a bite history.
- 1:34:09Speaker 6: Well to get rid of the kid, he's got to go.
- 1:34:14Speaker 5: Legged multi speed.
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:34:16Speaker 4: So I mean, the the adoption thing is great and whatever,
- 1:34:20Speaker 4: but like, at the same time, it's not. It's not
- 1:34:22Speaker 4: for everybody to say people that get all crazy because
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: somebody decided not to breastfeed and they went with formula
- 1:34:28Speaker 4: for their baby, not for dogs, but for the like
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: when they have a baby, Like mind your business.
- 1:34:34Speaker 13: Poop bags.
- 1:34:34Speaker 5: I forgot about poop.
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: Bags, definitely, Yeah, those those you need.
- 1:34:38Speaker 5: Also, we don't have a backyard with like grass or anything,
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: so I want to teach them how to like pee outside.
- 1:34:46Speaker 5: Is that going to ruin?
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: My friend line, that's gonna stink because it'll be out
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: there in the sun, like in the summertime. Ruin.
- 1:34:51Speaker 5: Well, can't I ruin it right off? Or should I
- 1:34:53Speaker 5: get like a little astro.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: What did you get? You got like those those things
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: for your balcony. Yeah, doggy lawn, doggy.
- 1:35:01Speaker 5: Lawn, but is it real grass? Yes, that's what I
- 1:35:04Speaker 5: want to do too. Or my mom had an idea.
- 1:35:06Speaker 5: She goes, it's gonna be so little whine you just
- 1:35:08Speaker 5: get it a litter box.
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: No, what I mean, don't do anyway, don't do what
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: Sammy did.
- 1:35:13Speaker 7: Well, she already has pads.
- 1:35:15Speaker 5: She said, No, that's just you have to training.
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: But that's just for training. Yeah, like, don't that's not
- 1:35:21Speaker 4: going to that's not going to be the forever. Like
- 1:35:23Speaker 4: your dog is one hundred years old and still doing the.
- 1:35:25Speaker 7: Pe peg thank you.
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: Whatever that dog years, it's a thousand years.
- 1:35:29Speaker 5: And you actually scared me because you made me realize
- 1:35:32Speaker 5: that the dog will have no idea the difference between
- 1:35:34Speaker 5: a peapad and a rug.
- 1:35:36Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:35:36Speaker 5: Yeah, So I don't want to deal with.
- 1:35:38Speaker 7: Little dogs in general. I mean, hopefully you don't have
- 1:35:40Speaker 7: this issue.
- 1:35:40Speaker 11: But even if you train them to go outside and
- 1:35:42Speaker 11: don't do the peapad thing, from what I've heard from
- 1:35:44Speaker 11: anyone who has had little.
- 1:35:45Speaker 7: Dogs, they have a problem with carpet.
- 1:35:47Speaker 2: Yeah, rugs.
- 1:35:48Speaker 8: It just it just is they just like to do
- 1:35:50Speaker 8: it dog to me. The other day, I was putting
- 1:35:53Speaker 8: down a towel outside and then out of nowhere just
- 1:35:57Speaker 8: walked right.
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: Up on it.
- 1:36:00Speaker 5: The one thing I did not buy it was in
- 1:36:01Speaker 5: the cart, and I took them out because again I know,
- 1:36:04Speaker 5: I'm just it's like putting a band ait on a
- 1:36:06Speaker 5: broken leg. I know, the pink Carnes isn't making a
- 1:36:08Speaker 5: difference with this dog I did have in the cart.
- 1:36:10Speaker 5: Bows took them out.
- 1:36:14Speaker 6: Take it to a rumor and then they can do
- 1:36:16Speaker 6: all that well, but because they'll send it home. My
- 1:36:20Speaker 6: dog went to the grim esday, I got a bandana.
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: Like, yeah, right, different than a both been sending these
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: to your wife?
- 1:36:27Speaker 5: What he I stay home and chat GBT her in
- 1:36:30Speaker 5: different scenarios, So like yeah, I have tons of.
- 1:36:34Speaker 2: Them here, What do you mean? Yeah?
- 1:36:38Speaker 5: Like so like sometimes she's an astronaut because and sometimes
- 1:36:42Speaker 5: she's a pirate or a fashion model, or a fireman.
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: Or a dodger. This is going to be her identity.
- 1:36:50Speaker 5: Yeah, it is already.
- 1:36:52Speaker 2: I remember, like sp for even posting a photo.
- 1:36:57Speaker 5: My this is gonna be this is literally all I know.
- 1:37:00Speaker 8: You're getting destroyed on number one anything involving my dums.
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: Well, number one, you're a dude and your dog's in
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: a stroll right right? Like when there's when girls do
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: certain things, they can get away with it because they're women.
- 1:37:14Speaker 8: I explained about the caveat of why I had the
- 1:37:17Speaker 8: stroller in the first five.
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: I remember, and it was even long term.
- 1:37:20Speaker 5: Can I guess at all? Is it because Frenchies can't
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: really breathe?
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: No?
- 1:37:24Speaker 3: No, it had to do with the shots, and you
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: can't have the puppy being out and about and being
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: able to get some sort of illness before it had
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: its shot. I want it out on the ground.
- 1:37:35Speaker 5: But how long did the stroller last?
- 1:37:36Speaker 8: Not long right after they got all their shots. It
- 1:37:41Speaker 8: was just because once they get parvo, it's over.
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: Oh my god, you can't get rid worse.
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: You need to tell me everybody who's got a French bulldog.
- 1:37:48Speaker 4: Everybody has to have. These dogs have never walked the earth.
- 1:37:52Speaker 2: It could be any dog. It's just like you don't
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: want them.
- 1:37:55Speaker 7: They exposed, right, They can't go for a walk.
- 1:37:57Speaker 11: If you have a yard to be able to put
- 1:37:59Speaker 11: your dog, it's fine because there's no other dogs, but
- 1:38:01Speaker 11: you cannot take a dog for a walk until it
- 1:38:03Speaker 11: has all of its parvo vaccines.
- 1:38:05Speaker 7: And I think there's like three of them.
- 1:38:06Speaker 5: How old are they when they get those mega young?
- 1:38:09Speaker 4: See that sounds like we'd never had those rules when
- 1:38:12Speaker 4: we were kids, Like we were eating like peanut butter.
- 1:38:14Speaker 2: You got your dogs after it was fully vaccine. No, no, no, no,
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: I'm saying like when we were kids, like actual kids,
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: you know, like now kids can't have honey until they're however, Yeah,
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: but parvo was like super rampid like when we were younger.
- 1:38:28Speaker 5: Or maybe we just didn't know about it.
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: Also, the world wasn't obsessed about picking up their poop.
- 1:38:31Speaker 5: I think I do have to do that because it
- 1:38:33Speaker 5: says you start at six to eight weeks old with
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: boosters every three to four weeks until it's sixteen weeks
- 1:38:38Speaker 5: and we're getting our ten weeks. Yeah, so I need
- 1:38:40Speaker 5: a stroller with the bow.
- 1:38:49Speaker 4: It's just it's just a shame that you know, you're
- 1:38:51Speaker 4: finally getting a dog, but not one that your step
- 1:38:54Speaker 4: son could be proud of.
- 1:38:55Speaker 5: Well, I'm proud.
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: I know you are. Clearly you are again you can
- 1:38:58Speaker 2: get away that you're a woman.
- 1:38:59Speaker 5: I think he's going to be interested in the dog.
- 1:39:01Speaker 5: For a couple of days, and I think he's gonna
- 1:39:03Speaker 5: move on.
- 1:39:04Speaker 6: I think he's gonna be jealous of the dog. It's
- 1:39:05Speaker 6: going to take all your time and attention.
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: Maybe he'll be marking in the house.
- 1:39:10Speaker 5: That's actually a good point. That's a very good point,
- 1:39:12Speaker 5: because I have been referring to the dog as his sister,
- 1:39:14Speaker 5: and he gets really mad.
- 1:39:17Speaker 4: Eight seven forty four witty.
- 1:39:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:39:22Speaker 4: A lot of people on the text, Gina reminding you,
- 1:39:24Speaker 4: and Menace has been saying for a long time, and
- 1:39:26Speaker 4: get that pet insurance to it?
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: Is that that you're getting your dog? Yeah, I know
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: the company offers some kind of pet insurance. I think
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: I opted into it when we did open enrollment for
- 1:39:36Speaker 2: our benefits.
- 1:39:37Speaker 6: So how does that figure?
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: I figured it out.
- 1:39:39Speaker 4: You're already taking like four thousand dollars per paycheck. You
- 1:39:41Speaker 4: might as four twenty dollars.
- 1:39:43Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess.
- 1:39:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't do that.
- 1:39:47Speaker 4: But you have healthy pause. I have healthy post is
- 1:39:49Speaker 4: separate from what our company offers.
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: Because I feel that it's much better. It covers a
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: lot more personally.
- 1:39:55Speaker 3: Yeah, when I got my dog, Gina, I had the
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: dog for probably four days when she ran out onto
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: the lawn, and the lawn had that not chicken wire,
- 1:40:03Speaker 3: but that mesh underneath it that kind of holds it
- 1:40:05Speaker 3: down and sliced her foot open. Oh really a thousand
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: bucks with it.
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: It's a shark.
- 1:40:10Speaker 3: A couple of days I think it was like the
- 1:40:12Speaker 3: webbing of her toes, like in between two toes, just
- 1:40:15Speaker 3: sliced a thousand bucks. Like a couple of days later,
- 1:40:18Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, this.
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: Is gonna be fun.
- 1:40:19Speaker 5: I'm sure we'll have a lot of that.
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, just the idea of the eve.
- 1:40:23Speaker 4: Been thinking about paper cut like you can almost feel it,
- 1:40:26Speaker 4: absolutely saying it.
- 1:40:28Speaker 2: You can feel it.
- 1:40:30Speaker 4: A new report looking at pets and how much they cost,
- 1:40:32Speaker 4: the average person spends nearly four point three thousand dollars
- 1:40:36Speaker 4: a year on just one pet. Yeah see, I'm not
- 1:40:44Speaker 4: taken the time to add it up. I don't know
- 1:40:45Speaker 4: what a bag of the dog food costs because my
- 1:40:48Speaker 4: wife usually just orders it and I get sent to
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: pick it up. So she'll order it from pet Smart
- 1:40:53Speaker 4: and it's like there at the little pickup thing, how
- 1:40:55Speaker 4: many puns it's I mean, it's a giant bag. I
- 1:40:57Speaker 4: want to say, it's like a fifty pound bag or
- 1:40:59Speaker 4: something it's.
- 1:40:59Speaker 2: Got to be. I would say, one hundred and forty
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: what for one bag of food?
- 1:41:06Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:41:06Speaker 2: Are you serious?
- 1:41:07Speaker 6: Mine's one hundred for every bag?
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: Yeah? Is it really? One can is about four something?
- 1:41:13Speaker 2: I have farmer's dog for two dogs.
- 1:41:15Speaker 6: Dang, well, that's really good food.
- 1:41:17Speaker 4: Because the only other food that I buy is you know,
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: when I go to the grocery store, she'll have me
- 1:41:20Speaker 4: pick up some of that fresh pet get because we
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: get that log.
- 1:41:24Speaker 2: I used to make the food. Never get the log.
- 1:41:26Speaker 4: We get the log and we just slice off a
- 1:41:28Speaker 4: little like a little a little circle for.
- 1:41:30Speaker 5: Like those cookie dough things.
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: Yeah, ok, yeah, I can.
- 1:41:33Speaker 3: Tell you what costs twenty sixty nine for the chicken,
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: twenty one ninety nine for the.
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: Beef, is that right? Yeah?
- 1:41:38Speaker 6: The big ones, right?
- 1:41:39Speaker 2: Big?
- 1:41:40Speaker 4: Oh, the big one, yeah, say, because I don't I
- 1:41:41Speaker 4: don't get this, the giant the little.
- 1:41:43Speaker 2: Ones are around twelve thirteen bucks. All right.
- 1:41:45Speaker 4: So when you stretch that number out, so four thousand
- 1:41:49Speaker 4: and three hundred dollars a year is the average of
- 1:41:51Speaker 4: what people spend on just one pet per year. When
- 1:41:55Speaker 4: you stretch that number out over a twelve year lifespan,
- 1:41:58Speaker 4: that comes out to more than fifty thousand wow per petya.
- 1:42:02Speaker 4: And that number does not include vet visits and the
- 1:42:06Speaker 4: chance that something goes wrong.
- 1:42:08Speaker 5: All right, so that's just like wear and tear your dogs.
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: But that might be like the regular like a vet
- 1:42:12Speaker 2: check up, grooming, right, grooming. Yeah.
- 1:42:17Speaker 4: The report also said that thirty seven percent of pet
- 1:42:19Speaker 4: owners are in debt because of their animals. Vet costs
- 1:42:23Speaker 4: have jumped forty three percent in the last five years alone.
- 1:42:26Speaker 4: Twenty five percent of people said that they had to
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: give up their pet because they couldn't afford it.
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the sad part.
- 1:42:32Speaker 8: It's like you should really think about it before getting
- 1:42:36Speaker 8: an animal, like really look at all the financial stuff.
- 1:42:38Speaker 8: There's things that you don't even think about when you
- 1:42:40Speaker 8: travel with them on the cost of like you have
- 1:42:43Speaker 8: to want to go out of town.
- 1:42:45Speaker 5: Yeah, between having bought a home less than a year
- 1:42:48Speaker 5: ago and now getting a dog, I'm all about sunken
- 1:42:51Speaker 5: costs and things I don't know what happened.
- 1:42:53Speaker 2: Yeah, like when you travel and you want to stay
- 1:42:56Speaker 2: in a hotel and you have your dog with you, you
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: got to get a special room that costs more.
- 1:43:00Speaker 11: And yeah, and even with the vet, you have to
- 1:43:02Speaker 11: do an annual check up with your dog in order
- 1:43:05Speaker 11: for the vet to see you about anything during that year.
- 1:43:08Speaker 7: So if you need to get.
- 1:43:08Speaker 11: Its anals glans released, you need to pay hundreds very
- 1:43:17Speaker 11: much focus but to do that, like fifty bucks or something.
- 1:43:23Speaker 11: But you have to do an annual physical in order
- 1:43:25Speaker 11: to even be able to do that, and that's hundreds
- 1:43:27Speaker 11: of dollars.
- 1:43:29Speaker 4: So I question for people who know better than I do.
- 1:43:32Speaker 4: I've heard two different sides of this, and I'm not
- 1:43:35Speaker 4: sure which one is actually true. So somebody who really
- 1:43:38Speaker 4: actually knows not what you think you know. When it
- 1:43:41Speaker 4: comes to getting your dog's teeth cleaned, is that a necessity?
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: Like do you have to do that?
- 1:43:46Speaker 8: They try to push it to they push it, they
- 1:43:50Speaker 8: push it special sale right now, but.
- 1:43:53Speaker 4: It's a it's a big thing, like they will put
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: the dog, you know, to sleep so they can clean its.
- 1:44:00Speaker 5: Can't you just get a toothbrush and you.
- 1:44:02Speaker 4: Can you can buy that like a pet smart stuff
- 1:44:04Speaker 4: I'm saying, but like an actual like we bring the
- 1:44:06Speaker 4: dog down to the vet and get their teeth cleaned.
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: I've heard like, oh no, you're absolutely supposed to do that,
- 1:44:12Speaker 4: And I've heard other people go that is absolute bs,
- 1:44:15Speaker 4: kind of like getting premium gasoline ass.
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: There's just something on that side.
- 1:44:19Speaker 8: Show tries because the pets push it so hard, and
- 1:44:22Speaker 8: that the vets push it so hard because it's try
- 1:44:24Speaker 8: to say, yeah, let's just do it, and I said, nope,
- 1:44:26Speaker 8: not unless the dog has to have surgery. I go
- 1:44:30Speaker 8: go ahead and knock it out.
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: Then while they're doing that exactly while they're doing.
- 1:44:34Speaker 6: No reason to sleep.
- 1:44:35Speaker 13: I've had to.
- 1:44:36Speaker 11: Yeah, I've had to put my dog under every year
- 1:44:39Speaker 11: for the last probably five years, sometimes twice a year,
- 1:44:42Speaker 11: to get her teeth cleaned, because it is that important.
- 1:44:44Speaker 7: Now it's not that important for.
- 1:44:46Speaker 11: Every breed because some breeds don't have teeth that are
- 1:44:50Speaker 11: that bad. Little dogs do have teeth that are that bad.
- 1:44:52Speaker 2: What do you mean that bad? Uh? What do you
- 1:44:55Speaker 2: mean what makes them bad?
- 1:44:56Speaker 7: They fill with bacteria or they're tougher to clean, They're
- 1:44:59Speaker 7: not like other.
- 1:45:00Speaker 5: Dogs don't have Yeah, the Google says, yeah, small breaths
- 1:45:04Speaker 5: have to go more often, one once a year, every
- 1:45:07Speaker 5: other year, and large breaths can go three years.
- 1:45:09Speaker 2: See vettach here. Yes, I dental cleaning is needed, but
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: you see you're selling those. I want to ax Tech's true.
- 1:45:16Speaker 11: It's true that the mouth has a lot to do
- 1:45:19Speaker 11: with how the body physically is doing. And when my
- 1:45:21Speaker 11: dog's teeth really had a lot of our tear, she
- 1:45:23Speaker 11: ended up having to have like fifteen teeth pulled on
- 1:45:26Speaker 11: one cleaning because it had been too.
- 1:45:27Speaker 2: Long her last one.
- 1:45:30Speaker 7: It turns out like forty eight teeth.
- 1:45:32Speaker 11: But after that her liver values were normal again, Like
- 1:45:36Speaker 11: she started getting healthier.
- 1:45:38Speaker 7: And it does.
- 1:45:39Speaker 11: Make a difference because it will affect their organs and
- 1:45:41Speaker 11: their body if their mouth and their teeth are not cleaned.
- 1:45:44Speaker 8: Teeth brushing every day every day. Yeah, I mean we
- 1:45:48Speaker 8: clean their teeth and stuff. But Woody and I know
- 1:45:51Speaker 8: somebody that took their dog in teeth cleaning and.
- 1:45:55Speaker 2: Dog didn't come back. What Yeah, it died when they
- 1:45:59Speaker 2: put under. Yeah, and they put the dog under. That's why.
- 1:46:02Speaker 8: And like if the dog has to go under for something,
- 1:46:05Speaker 8: then okay, we'll do it.
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: But I'm going to say the same thing with people,
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: like anytime anytime you have to have like anesthesia or whatever,
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: that's yeah, there's a risk to that. Like when I
- 1:46:15Speaker 2: get my facelift, I might die.
- 1:46:17Speaker 6: Oh no, please don't.
- 1:46:20Speaker 4: Yeah, somebody said the cost is more of the vets
- 1:46:23Speaker 4: just in general, because Vanguard and Blackstone are buying up
- 1:46:26Speaker 4: all these vet clinics.
- 1:46:28Speaker 2: So trying to find trying to find like a mom
- 1:46:30Speaker 2: and pop.
- 1:46:30Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, because.
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: When you go to the vet man every five seconds.
- 1:46:35Speaker 4: Black Rock, not black not Blackstone, right, black black Rocks
- 1:46:39Speaker 4: the investment or whatever.
- 1:46:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, shout out to black Rock.
- 1:46:44Speaker 8: But like every time you go to a vet, like,
- 1:46:47Speaker 8: uh yeah, it's like, oh, we'll give you a quote
- 1:46:49Speaker 8: on that.
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: Oh, we'll give you a quote on that.
- 1:46:50Speaker 8: It's just like I'm buying a car and getting upgrades,
- 1:46:53Speaker 8: yeah constantly. And your your animals like pretty much hostage
- 1:46:58Speaker 8: until you pay that bill, Like they won't do anything,
- 1:47:01Speaker 8: or they won't let your dog leave until you pay
- 1:47:03Speaker 8: that bill.
- 1:47:03Speaker 5: They won't give you your dog back pretty much.
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: Yeah, collateral all right.
- 1:47:09Speaker 4: So healthy pause is the one that Menace talks about
- 1:47:13Speaker 4: all the time. Healthy pause, And there is a number
- 1:47:16Speaker 4: of them out.
- 1:47:17Speaker 3: There, a lot of quote normal insurance companies.
- 1:47:21Speaker 2: Do it, right. Yeah, it's a very common thing.
- 1:47:24Speaker 5: A very young, very healthy puppy. I'm sure it can't
- 1:47:26Speaker 5: be as expensive.
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: It's not.
- 1:47:28Speaker 8: It gradually gets more and more and more once the
- 1:47:32Speaker 8: dogs get older. And you can get insurance for them
- 1:47:36Speaker 8: at any age.
- 1:47:37Speaker 4: But it's well it's like trying to get you know,
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: life insurance as you get older, exactly and more expensive.
- 1:47:46Speaker 8: See that's the benefit of me not having kids is
- 1:47:49Speaker 8: being able to pay that.
- 1:47:51Speaker 2: Like super high. You save so much money on college.
- 1:47:54Speaker 4: And we're gonna take a quick break more what he
- 1:47:56Speaker 4: shows next.
- 1:48:00Speaker 6: Me right back?
- 1:48:07Speaker 2: All right, two last things on While we started talking
- 1:48:10Speaker 2: about how June is getting her dog finally, Yeah, it's
- 1:48:14Speaker 2: finally old enough to go home. And so we're.
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: Talking about, you know, the cost of different things, things
- 1:48:20Speaker 4: that she's been buying on Amazon. But then also you know,
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: just the cost of being a pedo. The average person
- 1:48:27Speaker 4: spends four a year on just one pet for a
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: different then that does not include again vet visits and
- 1:48:36Speaker 4: the chance you know, something goes wrong.
- 1:48:37Speaker 2: But yeah, and.
- 1:48:41Speaker 4: The other thing we're talking about like that you don't
- 1:48:44Speaker 4: necessarily need, like premium gas. I told you there was
- 1:48:47Speaker 4: something that yeah, just saw so you know, because the
- 1:48:49Speaker 4: gas price is not not great, they keep going higher
- 1:48:53Speaker 4: and higher, so people are now thinking twice about the
- 1:48:56Speaker 4: more expensive stuff. So this is new data from consumer reports,
- 1:48:59Speaker 4: and this is a source I do trust. I like
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: consumer reports.
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: Right, because you used to tell me all the time
- 1:49:05Speaker 3: that premium really did matter.
- 1:49:07Speaker 4: Well, because here's the thing. You buy a car, you know,
- 1:49:10Speaker 4: certain cars will tell you that they are required for
- 1:49:14Speaker 4: minimum whatever it is, ninety one the obtainer.
- 1:49:17Speaker 2: Something like that.
- 1:49:19Speaker 4: And I have felt because I know that by accident.
- 1:49:23Speaker 4: When I first got a car like that, I put
- 1:49:27Speaker 4: something lesser, something regular, and it seemed to run a
- 1:49:31Speaker 4: little more. The engine was a little bit more rough.
- 1:49:33Speaker 2: It ran but like and and I was told that
- 1:49:36Speaker 2: was the reason why maybe it was something completely UnrealEd.
- 1:49:38Speaker 2: I don't know. So from that point I never did
- 1:49:40Speaker 2: that again when when the car calls for it, like
- 1:49:42Speaker 2: of course, like.
- 1:49:43Speaker 5: That's maybe your car called for higher.
- 1:49:45Speaker 4: Yeah, now I do trust again consumer reports. It's legit,
- 1:49:50Speaker 4: they say, don't worry about it. They ran test, they
- 1:49:52Speaker 4: pit regular gas against premium, and they found that cars
- 1:49:55Speaker 4: didn't go any fast, didn't rab any higher, or suddenly
- 1:49:58Speaker 4: turn into like some kind of muscle car. And that
- 1:50:00Speaker 4: was the case even in cars where the owner's manual
- 1:50:02Speaker 4: specifically says regular fuel required, premium fuel recommended. So you
- 1:50:08Speaker 4: could buy it if you want that money could probably
- 1:50:11Speaker 4: you know, be better spend, yeah, some somewhere else.
- 1:50:15Speaker 8: At one point I had a really nice car that
- 1:50:17Speaker 8: called for that, and I just put regular gas in
- 1:50:21Speaker 8: it and ran.
- 1:50:22Speaker 3: And you hear about knocks and pings, like a knock
- 1:50:25Speaker 3: and ping that a bad thing where it makes just
- 1:50:28Speaker 3: turn the radio.
- 1:50:29Speaker 2: Loudmar Yeah, let's make the radio louder. Speaking of cars,
- 1:50:36Speaker 2: the span of just a year, the price of a
- 1:50:39Speaker 2: new car jumped to the highest point it's ever been before.
- 1:50:43Speaker 2: This is nuts.
- 1:50:45Speaker 4: This is according to a report from the Labor Department.
- 1:50:48Speaker 4: New cars are now selling for an average of about
- 1:50:52Speaker 4: fifty thousand dollars. That all cars, So the average for
- 1:51:00Speaker 4: fifty thousand, that's up thirty percent. Absolutely not in just
- 1:51:03Speaker 4: the last six years. Now, on top of that, if
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: someone wants to put ten percent down on a car
- 1:51:09Speaker 4: and sign a six year deal, the average monthly payment
- 1:51:13Speaker 4: is now seven hundred and seventy five dollars.
- 1:51:17Speaker 5: That's imagined a month. That's without Yes, I would have
- 1:51:20Speaker 5: ever paid more than three hundred.
- 1:51:22Speaker 7: The interest rates now though.
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: Yeah, they're high.
- 1:51:25Speaker 4: Compound that with the lack of used cars according to
- 1:51:28Speaker 4: these to the same report and same everything, of all
- 1:51:32Speaker 4: the used cars on the market, only thirteen percent are
- 1:51:35Speaker 4: listed for less than thirty thousand dollars. For used cars,
- 1:51:40Speaker 4: only thirteen percent are listed under thirty three zero.
- 1:51:45Speaker 5: I thought it was like, well, I saved up fifteen
- 1:51:47Speaker 5: hundred dollars and got a great used car. Those days
- 1:51:50Speaker 5: are over.
- 1:51:51Speaker 4: To help make it work, customers are now taking out
- 1:51:53Speaker 4: seven year loans and they end up paying way more
- 1:51:57Speaker 4: in the long run because of all the interest payments.
- 1:51:59Speaker 5: Perhaps Tyler could shed some more light on that Tyler loan.
- 1:52:02Speaker 2: Dude, Tyler eight years ago was he was on the forefront.
- 1:52:06Speaker 4: Yeah, he was, And that's how he got the name
- 1:52:09Speaker 4: dumb ass Tyler.
- 1:52:11Speaker 5: Why do you remind us because he.
- 1:52:13Speaker 4: Bought this truck. He bought a truck and he got
- 1:52:16Speaker 4: like a seven or eight year whatever. It was the
- 1:52:18Speaker 4: longest loan of the time. Ever at the time when
- 1:52:21Speaker 4: he said how long, I was like what because it
- 1:52:23Speaker 4: wasn't common like.
- 1:52:24Speaker 2: It is now. Seven is normal now and this is
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: about eight years ago or so. And then he told, well,
- 1:52:30Speaker 2: what's the payment on something that you got to figure
- 1:52:31Speaker 2: it's gotta be low. After a hundred bucks, it was
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: like seven hundred dollars a month, like dumb ass. So
- 1:52:38Speaker 2: I got dumb ass Tyler. I'm just saying it's I
- 1:52:40Speaker 2: got the name.
- 1:52:41Speaker 8: If you're doing these seven year loan things, get a
- 1:52:44Speaker 8: car that's going to last, don't don't get it because
- 1:52:47Speaker 8: you're desperate to get this like super nice car. And
- 1:52:50Speaker 8: that's the you know option that you have to do
- 1:52:52Speaker 8: the seven year loan because those type of cars won't last.
- 1:52:55Speaker 2: Well, are you doing it?
- 1:52:56Speaker 4: And you're getting the seven year loan to stretch out
- 1:52:58Speaker 4: as much as you can to have the pay be
- 1:53:00Speaker 4: lower even though like if you kept it till you
- 1:53:02Speaker 4: paid it off, yeah, you'll pay way more.
- 1:53:03Speaker 2: But you're getting it with the idea that you're not
- 1:53:05Speaker 2: going to keep it. Yeah. Right, So you buy, you
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: buy something at a.
- 1:53:09Speaker 4: Longer term thinking I'm not going to I'm all going
- 1:53:12Speaker 4: to hold onto this for you know, four or five years.
- 1:53:14Speaker 2: The math math you can like resell it. Yeah, that's
- 1:53:17Speaker 2: the thing.
- 1:53:17Speaker 4: And when you want to get out of it, you
- 1:53:19Speaker 4: can't because then you're upside down, right, That's what I'm saying.
- 1:53:23Speaker 7: And if you crash it and it was your fault.
- 1:53:25Speaker 2: Good luck. Yeah, get something you still have.
- 1:53:26Speaker 7: You total it that you're still in the hook for
- 1:53:28Speaker 7: that payment and the.
- 1:53:29Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you got to have that what was
- 1:53:31Speaker 2: it called, Greg gap insurance?
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:53:33Speaker 4: Yeah, because that covers the difference between you know, what
- 1:53:38Speaker 4: what you owe, right and what the value of it is.
- 1:53:42Speaker 3: If the value is ten grand, but you have that
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: gap insurance and now that you've totaled it, it's fine,
- 1:53:48Speaker 3: it'll cover.
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: The whole cost.
- 1:53:49Speaker 6: Oh okay, good to know.
- 1:53:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it costs you more to have gap
- 1:53:53Speaker 4: insurance between what you owe and what it's worth, right,
- 1:53:55Speaker 4: eight seven seven forty four text us over to two
- 1:53:58Speaker 4: two nine eight seven.
- 1:54:00Speaker 2: Fun than gunner Rhea. Thank you very much, Greg Goring.

- 1:55:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Typically, you know, before I had this job doing
- 1:55:54Speaker 2: morning shows night. Yeah, my normal rhythm was I would
- 1:55:58Speaker 2: be up until two o'clock in the morning, and then
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: i'd sleep until ten. Yeah. Now I'm getting up at
- 1:56:04Speaker 2: two o'clock in the morning.
- 1:56:05Speaker 4: Right, we're trying to be upstairs in bed, and if
- 1:56:08Speaker 4: not sleeping, just upstairs in bed by like seven seven.
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: I would go to bed at like four, get up
- 1:56:14Speaker 2: at noon. Yeah. That was great. That was the life man. True. Yeah,
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: I was also broke though. We got a great job.
- 1:56:20Speaker 2: We got a great job, but when it comes the
