- 0:39Speaker 3: Look at us. We're a little bit early.
- 0:40Speaker 1: This morning, early dark and early.
- 0:42Speaker 5: I'm feeling feisty this morning, Candislowpez, Yeah, a little bit feisty.
- 0:46Speaker 3: I don't know why. Sometimes the less sleep I get,
- 0:49Speaker 3: the crazier I feel.
- 0:50Speaker 1: No, Sae, that's actually kind of how I feel today
- 0:53Speaker 1: because I had such a long day yesterday. You know,
- 0:55Speaker 1: we did the show, immediately went out to the State
- 0:57Speaker 1: Fair of Texas and immediately went to base practice. I
- 1:00Speaker 1: mean it just didn't stop yesterday. A day too long
- 1:04Speaker 1: of a day. We had such a good time at
- 1:06Speaker 1: the fair, and I was gonna tell you, guys, I
- 1:08Speaker 1: figured out where all the crowds are, because you know
- 1:11Speaker 1: how you're seeing all these social media videos like the
- 1:13Speaker 1: fair is empty this year and blah blah blah. Right,
- 1:16Speaker 1: everyone is in the Auto show. That is where everyone is.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Because it's so hot at the fair right now and
- 1:21Speaker 1: we haven't had like a cold spell to get everybody
- 1:24Speaker 1: on the midway and stuff. We're playing games like no
- 1:28Speaker 1: no lines.
- 1:29Speaker 5: Okay, See that's weird. I'm sorry, Yeah, that's weird. There's
- 1:32Speaker 5: typically it doesn't matter. I mean, it's hot all the time.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Usually there's usually i mean a hot streak during the fair.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yeah, but you go on the Auto Show and man,
- 1:40Speaker 1: it's just people, you know, side by side all through
- 1:43Speaker 1: that play. Yeah, it was really busy in there yesterday,
- 1:46Speaker 1: but we had a good time. And I was going
- 1:47Speaker 1: to tell you, if you want to save money on
- 1:50Speaker 1: you know, games and stuff on the Midway, just take
- 1:53Speaker 1: your kids to the auto show because we had Enzo
- 1:56Speaker 1: and two of his friends and they were just in
- 1:57Speaker 1: the cars, out of the cars, running around the carrs
- 2:00Speaker 1: like just they had so much fun in these minivans, really,
- 2:03Speaker 1: but popping the top, popping the trunk open, closing the trunks,
- 2:07Speaker 1: like getting in the in the seats, and I told
- 2:09Speaker 1: the boys, I was like, get in there and buckle.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Up, and I could be like, yeah, then you could
- 2:13Speaker 3: be like you could pretend you.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Guys are fine, you're not moving or you know, tripping
- 2:17Speaker 1: people in the auto show by just buckling up. They
- 2:19Speaker 1: thought it was so fun, but I was like, no,
- 2:21Speaker 1: simmer down, sit still.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I'll keep my kids in the driveway and just do
- 2:24Speaker 3: it that way. Then cheap entertain my own car.
- 2:26Speaker 6: I mean you can.
- 2:27Speaker 1: But those cars are getting thrashed for sure.
- 2:29Speaker 3: No, I know, I know. I wonder what they do
- 2:30Speaker 3: with those cars after they get beat up at the fair.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, they resell them.
- 2:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Because Eric fun fact speaking of like you know how
- 2:37Speaker 1: poo goes down his list of jobs, Eric used to
- 2:39Speaker 1: be one of the auto show people who would get
- 2:41Speaker 1: on the microphone back in the day just stop lying,
- 2:43Speaker 1: yeah and tell people about the cars.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Why does that make total sense that your husband Eric
- 2:48Speaker 5: would be he's a car guy.
- 2:51Speaker 3: He's an actor. Yeah, he's a model. Yeah, he's a
- 2:55Speaker 3: what else is he?
- 2:56Speaker 1: Dandscape?
- 2:57Speaker 3: He's a landscaper, lawn daddy.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah, he used to and he was a flight uh
- 3:01Speaker 1: intended personal trainer, personal trainer. Yeah, oh yeah, and he
- 3:05Speaker 1: runs a graphics business. Well he still does that.
- 3:07Speaker 3: That I feel stupid.
- 3:10Speaker 1: No, but it made me laugh.
- 3:12Speaker 3: So you guys ever get divorced. I'm married? Oh my god,
- 3:17Speaker 3: that's it all right?
- 3:18Speaker 1: Well good, it was a good time.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Though. Favorite thing in the fair that you ate yesterday?
- 3:22Speaker 1: I mean I always get two things, one hundred percent,
- 3:25Speaker 1: always the corny dog and then I ended with the
- 3:27Speaker 1: funnel cake on the way out.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Is that your tradition? Yeah, you don't need anything in between.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I do sometimes. I didn't yesterday because we had to
- 3:34Speaker 1: get out of there to get to baseball practice. Plus
- 3:36Speaker 1: they brought all the food up here for us to try,
- 3:38Speaker 1: so I didn't feel like I was missing out on
- 3:40Speaker 1: the t Bui chocolate fry, funnel cake fries. We already
- 3:44Speaker 1: had it.
- 3:45Speaker 3: That's good. Well fun then, yeah, thanks and had fun?
- 3:48Speaker 7: He did.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Producer po was here, Pooh, what's up?
- 3:50Speaker 8: I realized the older I get, the more nosy I'm
- 3:53Speaker 8: starting to get the Oh yeah, I'm gonna tell you why.
- 3:56Speaker 8: There's nothing that ever happens at my gas station. Nothing
- 3:59Speaker 8: right by my house. I took off this morning.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I was almost late.
- 4:02Speaker 8: There was at least sixteen cop cars and I lived,
- 4:06Speaker 8: you know, Garland Saxy area, So it was Saxy and
- 4:10Speaker 8: Garland police and they really posted up. Yeah I'm like
- 4:13Speaker 8: a man and you watch a lot of cops. Oh yeah, episodes, Billy,
- 4:17Speaker 8: So what do you think? What do you think they
- 4:18Speaker 8: were doing that many police officers and had to be
- 4:22Speaker 8: and they weren't inside the store, they were outside.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I'm like, man, I wish I could get a special
- 4:26Speaker 3: you know, place it in Garland or Saxy.
- 4:29Speaker 5: It was actually Garland, Okay, So if it was Garland,
- 4:31Speaker 5: Saxey police were there, it was a crime that was
- 4:33Speaker 5: committed in Saxy. They obviously chased the guy into Garland,
- 4:38Speaker 5: so that's exactly what happened. And they were looking for
- 4:40Speaker 5: the suspect on foot and the calling for other officers
- 4:43Speaker 5: just in case they needed to back up.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I just yeah, I thought maybe they started in
- 4:49Speaker 1: Garland and then went into Saxon.
- 4:51Speaker 3: See that's what I was thinking. Well, you just said
- 4:53Speaker 3: they were cops in Garland. Yeah, the gas station sits
- 4:56Speaker 3: on the Yeah, you get your fact straight.
- 5:00Speaker 8: So what you're saying it was a multi jurisdictional not
- 5:03Speaker 8: because that happens in some cases.
- 5:06Speaker 1: You know, they have to transfer it over to the
- 5:08Speaker 1: PD and there.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Well they can you know, if the crime was committed,
- 5:10Speaker 3: they can go into another jurisdiction.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Oh okay, but do they have to hand it off
- 5:14Speaker 1: or do they continue on the case.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Well, what happens is then they have those officers on
- 5:18Speaker 3: the scene to make sure that they have, you know,
- 5:22Speaker 3: how to respect, just to support them. Yeah, I'm coming
- 5:26Speaker 3: into how to respect. I just want to let you know.
- 5:29Speaker 3: That's what I do when I'm in Carrollton. You know,
- 5:31Speaker 3: I'm neighborhood Watch. If I have to go into like Lewisville,
- 5:35Speaker 3: for example, I'll call Louisville Neighborhood Watch.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Yeah, just to make sure they're where them in their
- 5:40Speaker 3: area so they don't so they don't freak out, you know,
- 5:44Speaker 3: the more you know, Hey, Louisville neighborhood. What's just letting
- 5:47Speaker 3: you know. I'm here with my pepper spray in case
- 5:49Speaker 3: any drama goes down.
- 5:51Speaker 1: These stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid in
- 5:54Speaker 1: the morning only on the New Mixed one or two
- 5:57Speaker 1: point nine.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Make sure you listen. We gotta pay your bills today.
- 5:59Speaker 5: Coming up a little bit later like a twenty the
- 6:01Speaker 5: First Chance one one thousand dollars. But we give away
- 6:03Speaker 5: a lot of money every single day. Make sure you
- 6:05Speaker 5: check it out. Okay, all right, Candice Lopez Texas Top Stories, which.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Cop Yeah, some chib news guys. Their first store in
- 6:11Speaker 1: Rockwall has an official opening day, October twenty nine.
- 6:16Speaker 3: It is thank you, You're welcome.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:18Speaker 1: So they broke ground on the store back in June
- 6:20Speaker 1: of last year. But Rockwall, this is a thirty one
- 6:22Speaker 1: thousand square foot store in store, barbecue spot, a sushi counter.
- 6:26Speaker 6: Wow.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Yeah, this is gonna be a good one. The rock
- 6:29Speaker 1: Wall store is at the southwest corner of I thirty
- 6:31Speaker 1: and South John King Boulevard. Doors will open at six
- 6:34Speaker 1: am that day. You know there's going to be a
- 6:36Speaker 1: line of people camping out.
- 6:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I don't know why they camp out there. Like what
- 6:40Speaker 3: happens at the first day You get something, I know,
- 6:42Speaker 3: like you know, raising canes. Yeah, to get the first
- 6:45Speaker 3: people there get like, I don't know, chicken tenders for
- 6:49Speaker 3: my year.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, well, first of all, you get to
- 6:51Speaker 1: say I was the first person in this.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Hib Yeah exactly.
- 6:55Speaker 1: But I do think they give away gift cards and stuff,
- 6:57Speaker 1: you know, for the people, the super fans of AHB.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I didn't know how big this cult following was until
- 7:01Speaker 1: I joined the Facebook group. It's a big deal.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Was it the HB bags or the Trader Joe bags?
- 7:07Speaker 1: The Trader Joe's bags are the ones that went viral.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, those bags are overseas. I saw one going
- 7:12Speaker 3: for one thousand dollars in Japan.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Yes, what they just released the Halloween one too.
- 7:16Speaker 3: The canvas bag is going for like a thousand dollars.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Well, why didn't you tell me I want to scoop
- 7:20Speaker 1: some up. We could have resold up.
- 7:21Speaker 3: You knew that you did the story.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Well, I didn't know they were going for that much
- 7:24Speaker 1: in Japan.
- 7:25Speaker 3: You should check out Texas top stories.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I know the bags are going viral and selling for more,
- 7:30Speaker 1: but not overseas, not that much, maybe like fifty bucks.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Well maybe it was a lie, but I don't know.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Wow, I don't know.
- 7:35Speaker 6: I like that.
- 7:36Speaker 1: But congrats Rockwall I know you're excited about HB. Listen
- 7:40Speaker 1: to this new study Guys on mental health in the workplace.
- 7:43Speaker 1: It says eighty percent of employees say their workplace is toxic,
- 7:47Speaker 1: and this is up from sixty seven percent who said
- 7:50Speaker 1: that last year.
- 7:51Speaker 3: People are unhappy.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it makes me sad.
- 7:54Speaker 5: Yeah, you know you should love what you do and
- 7:57Speaker 5: in going to work every day and go, hey, you
- 7:59Speaker 5: know this place isn't awful. But I think it's just
- 8:02Speaker 5: a representation of where we're at in our world.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yeah, no, you know what I mean.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Like people's mental health are.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Spirally, yes, and most employees are saying, you know, our
- 8:12Speaker 1: employer isn't supporting our mental health. A lot are, but
- 8:15Speaker 1: a majority are saying they're not. But things you can do,
- 8:19Speaker 1: you know, exercise, practice, gratitude, mindfulness, improve you know, your workspace. Erganomics,
- 8:24Speaker 1: they say, is a big deal, like how you sit
- 8:26Speaker 1: and like function in your space. Really yeah, so like
- 8:29Speaker 1: if your posture is bad and stuff, it could just
- 8:31Speaker 1: tire you out and make you a little moody.
- 8:33Speaker 6: You know.
- 8:33Speaker 5: In other countries they do, you know, unconventional things like Sweden,
- 8:37Speaker 5: for example, you get what like two months off, Yeah,
- 8:40Speaker 5: it paid.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Vacation, right, take a whole month off.
- 8:43Speaker 6: You know.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Are some companies in our building right here only work
- 8:46Speaker 3: four days a week.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yeah, hybrid work schedules.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Big, I think that really helps out, Yeah in certain
- 8:51Speaker 5: cases as sure. You know what else is unconventionally you
- 8:54Speaker 5: should probably do as an employer.
- 8:56Speaker 3: But pay more. How about that for people's mental health?
- 9:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that would definitely help a little bit for sure.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Real quick, guys, Fox is bringing back the hit show
- 9:05Speaker 1: Fear Factor. So they released the trailer yesterday that basically
- 9:08Speaker 1: showed a blender with ingredients going into it that looked
- 9:12Speaker 1: absolutely disgusting. They put fruit in there and then roaches,
- 9:15Speaker 1: some type of organs and they were blending it up.
- 9:19Speaker 1: That looks disgusting. I don't know, you know, who's going
- 9:22Speaker 1: to be drinking that. I know the show, But this
- 9:25Speaker 1: new version is going to be hosted by Johnny Knoxville.
- 9:27Speaker 1: And here's what's different. They're actually going to take a
- 9:29Speaker 1: group of strangers and drop them in a remote location
- 9:32Speaker 1: where they have to live together, take on these stunts
- 9:35Speaker 1: and challenges, and then you know, there's also the social strategy,
- 9:39Speaker 1: which is something very different for Fear Factor. People are scary.
- 9:44Speaker 1: People is scary. Yeah.
- 9:45Speaker 5: I used to love that show back then with Joe
- 9:47Speaker 5: Rogan he was the host. Yeah, way back in the day.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I used to love it.
- 9:50Speaker 5: And then we used to do stuff on the radio
- 9:52Speaker 5: to mimic the show. So I mean, I'm assuming I
- 9:55Speaker 5: remember one time. I did it for Britney Spears tickets
- 9:57Speaker 5: and I forgot what somebody did to win him.
- 9:58Speaker 3: But it was just awful.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I can't even believe it was legal roach smoothie.
- 10:02Speaker 3: It wasn't even a roach smoothie. Was like worse than
- 10:04Speaker 3: a roach smoothie.
- 10:06Speaker 5: And somebody did it and they got the tickets back
- 10:08Speaker 5: of this was like, you know two thousand and two.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Right when you could do stuff like that.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I think we could do it. I think we could
- 10:15Speaker 3: bring it back and maybe we do a fear factor
- 10:17Speaker 3: with poo.
- 10:17Speaker 8: Yeah, as long as I ain't eating that nasty. I
- 10:21Speaker 8: mean I've eaten crickets around you. Yeah, I've eaten a
- 10:23Speaker 8: whole grasshoppers.
- 10:24Speaker 3: You eat grass chocolate cup of grasshoppers? Yeah? So yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 3: you think I could do it. I don't know about
- 10:29Speaker 3: roaches though, No, I don't want it.
- 10:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Yeah that let's not do that, why Smiley? Maybe maybe
- 10:36Speaker 3: next week?
- 10:38Speaker 1: All right, I'm getting slow, Fetz. Those are your Texas
- 10:40Speaker 1: top stories?
- 10:41Speaker 3: Really fake news.
- 10:41Speaker 5: I'm gonna give you three headlines and you tell me
- 10:44Speaker 5: which one is fake, and the news gets crazy.
- 10:46Speaker 3: So this is fun to talk about. Are you ready,
- 10:48Speaker 3: Candice Ye? Are you ready Pooh, Yes, sir, Okay, here
- 10:51Speaker 3: we go.
- 10:51Speaker 5: First headline, fifty three percent of American adults are still
- 10:55Speaker 5: afraid of the dark. Fifty three percent of American adults
- 10:59Speaker 5: are still afraid of the dark.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Headline number one.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Headline number two, A slow checkout line caused a woman
- 11:06Speaker 5: to buy a knife and stab another customer. A slow
- 11:11Speaker 5: checkout line caused a woman to buy a knife and
- 11:14Speaker 5: stab another customer. Headline number two. Headline number three, Lay's
- 11:19Speaker 5: rebrands to show their potato chips are made from potatoes?
- 11:23Speaker 5: What Lay's rebrands to show their potato chips are made
- 11:30Speaker 5: from potatoes?
- 11:31Speaker 1: Okay?
- 11:32Speaker 3: Three headlines right there? You gotta tell me which one
- 11:35Speaker 3: is the fake? Headline? One of them I'm made up.
- 11:37Speaker 3: And if you don't guess it, well, then I went
- 11:40Speaker 3: either way, Candice, it could be yours or you could
- 11:42Speaker 3: pass it to Pooh.
- 11:43Speaker 1: No, I'm going with that second story. That's ridiculous. Please
- 11:45Speaker 1: lock me in for that slow checkout.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, okay, you think that's the fake story?
- 11:50Speaker 1: I sure hope, so let me lock it in.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Okay, all right, there you go, producer, Pooh, which one
- 11:54Speaker 3: do you think is fake?
- 11:55Speaker 2: Man?
- 11:56Speaker 3: Uh, I'm gonna go with the first one. I don't
- 11:58Speaker 3: think that percentage is that high. Okay, you don't think
- 12:01Speaker 3: that fifty three percent of American adults are still afraid
- 12:03Speaker 3: of the dark. No, lock me in.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Okay, let me lock that in. And the winner today
- 12:08Speaker 5: is producer pooh wow, who is on a roll. It's
- 12:15Speaker 5: like two days in a row.
- 12:17Speaker 3: He's killing it.
- 12:18Speaker 5: No, fifty three percent of American adults are not still
- 12:21Speaker 5: afraid of the dark. Eye boosted that up a little bit,
- 12:24Speaker 5: so the real percentage is twenty nine. Wow, twenty nine
- 12:28Speaker 5: percent of American adults are still afraid of the dark,
- 12:30Speaker 5: which is still pretty high.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 3: If you ask me, I love the dark? You do? Yeah?
- 12:35Speaker 3: Like I sleep with everything off?
- 12:36Speaker 1: Well yeah, I mean I love it when i'm sleeping.
- 12:38Speaker 3: No, but I do it just more for security. Say see,
- 12:41Speaker 3: I'm psycho.
- 12:41Speaker 2: You are.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm so paranoid that I feel.
- 12:45Speaker 5: Like the only reason I sleep in the dark is
- 12:46Speaker 5: because if somebody breaks in, I know my house better
- 12:49Speaker 5: than them. So if I have all the lights off,
- 12:51Speaker 5: I have a better advantage.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Of Are there people that sleep with the lights on?
- 12:55Speaker 2: Those?
- 12:56Speaker 6: Yes?
- 12:56Speaker 1: Really me?
- 12:58Speaker 3: What I have to have something? Low?
- 13:01Speaker 8: I'm not afraid of it's okay if you are, just
- 13:05Speaker 8: tell us I have to have something like, yeah, I
- 13:08Speaker 8: usually send a time or to it.
- 13:09Speaker 3: But yeah, he really knows we slept. We didn't sleep together.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Excuse together too many times.
- 13:18Speaker 3: And he sleeps with the TV on. Yeah, to sleep
- 13:20Speaker 3: with the TV, and then I can fall asleep, and
- 13:23Speaker 3: it's usually watching something very very girly.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Yeah, And I don't care though, I just go to
- 13:28Speaker 5: I can sleep through anything because but if I have
- 13:31Speaker 5: it up to me, I could rather have a pitch
- 13:32Speaker 5: black in case.
- 13:33Speaker 1: There's Yeah, it's better for you, get better sleep.
- 13:35Speaker 7: Though.
- 13:35Speaker 3: If World War three breaks out, then you know they're calling.
- 13:41Speaker 2: All right.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Headline number two.
- 13:43Speaker 5: A slow checkout line caused a woman to buy a
- 13:45Speaker 5: knife and stab another customer.
- 13:47Speaker 3: This really happened, of course it did.
- 13:49Speaker 5: A woman in New Jerseys facing charges after a slow
- 13:52Speaker 5: checkout line prompted her to buy a knife and then
- 13:54Speaker 5: stab the customer in front of him.
- 13:57Speaker 3: So can we just think about the logistics on this.
- 14:00Speaker 5: Yeah, so she was annoyed the checkout was slow, so
- 14:03Speaker 5: she somehow got ahead of the girl bought the knife.
- 14:07Speaker 5: Is it so she bought the knife before? Like if
- 14:10Speaker 5: you're a criminal, by the knife. Just take the knife
- 14:14Speaker 5: and let you figure it out. You went to go
- 14:15Speaker 5: to an aisle get a knife, come back, and then
- 14:18Speaker 5: stab the woman, so either way.
- 14:22Speaker 6: Uh.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Yeah, they got into a heated argument. She bought a
- 14:24Speaker 3: set of kitchen knife, remove one from the box, and
- 14:26Speaker 3: then pursue the woman in the parking lot and chased her.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Oh gosh, thankfully the.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Woman is gonna be okay. Yeah, otherwise I wouldn't do
- 14:34Speaker 5: the story. But yeah, I wouldn't do anything that ended
- 14:36Speaker 5: too bad. But yeah, and that woman's in jail and
- 14:39Speaker 5: arrested because I mean, what a psycho. Right, I'm gonna
- 14:43Speaker 5: go get some knife real quick. Are you gonna be
- 14:44Speaker 5: here for a minute. I'm gonna grab these knives to
- 14:50Speaker 5: stab you. I'll be right back and you get with that.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Yeh.
- 14:53Speaker 5: I'll have fifteen items or less. Yeah, no worry, okay,
- 14:57Speaker 5: and then lays this is a crazy story. Lays read
- 15:00Speaker 5: brands to show their potato chips are made from potatoes.
- 15:02Speaker 1: What does that mean? We know they're potatoes.
- 15:05Speaker 3: My son and I saw this story yesterday.
- 15:06Speaker 5: We're having lunch or whatever, and we're scrolling through Instagram
- 15:09Speaker 5: and I go look at this, and he reads it
- 15:11Speaker 5: and he goes, how do you not know that potato
- 15:14Speaker 5: chips are made from potatoes? And I guess Lays did
- 15:16Speaker 5: a research project or marketing project and they said that
- 15:20Speaker 5: certain like forty two percent of people when they were
- 15:23Speaker 5: asked what a chip was made out of h didn't
- 15:25Speaker 5: know it was made from a potato?
- 15:27Speaker 3: What are we doomed?
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yes, so now we're cooked.
- 15:32Speaker 5: And my son who's fourteen, goes, Dad, there's potatoes on
- 15:37Speaker 5: the bag, right, And I go, but does that even
- 15:40Speaker 5: have to happen?
- 15:42Speaker 3: What did we think of?
- 15:42Speaker 1: Potato chip was made up because someone sued because there
- 15:45Speaker 1: wasn't a potato and that list like in the logo
- 15:48Speaker 1: or something.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Well, I don't title or this is just one of
- 15:51Speaker 3: these companies brilliant ways of marketing themselves. Yeah, to have
- 15:55Speaker 3: everyone talking about it, right, you know it's not they're
- 15:59Speaker 3: just you know, they're gonna do a new logo, a
- 16:01Speaker 3: Sunnier package, Sonnier.
- 16:04Speaker 1: And sunnier than the yellow bag, I don't know, and an.
- 16:07Speaker 3: All ingredient overhaul. So you would be happy to know
- 16:09Speaker 3: they're going to change Oh yeah, that's what I made
- 16:12Speaker 3: me thinking you can't. They're going to change their like
- 16:14Speaker 3: seed oils oh good or something. What does that mean?
- 16:17Speaker 1: Well, like vegetable oils, they say that they're inflammatory, So
- 16:21Speaker 1: what does that mean? Well, you know it's inflames your body.
- 16:24Speaker 3: You're inflammatory. Sometimes better watch your mouth with me. No,
- 16:29Speaker 3: I guess they're gonna use swap out that and put
- 16:31Speaker 3: avocado oil.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yes, okay, I like this.
- 16:34Speaker 3: She is exciting. Oh my, I've never seen nobody that
- 16:38Speaker 3: I who gets excited about this?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Okay, your new home of Philly the kid in the
- 16:43Speaker 1: morning to promise you'll feel better. Welcome to the Dirty
- 16:47Speaker 1: Little Secret.
- 16:48Speaker 3: I was nervous. I was nervous. I'm like this guy,
- 16:50Speaker 3: maybe freaked out, maybe backed out. I don't know.
- 16:52Speaker 5: It's Mix one or two point nine, billing a kid, candy,
- 16:55Speaker 5: slow pans, producer food, Dirty Little Secret. If you got one,
- 16:58Speaker 5: bring it on anytime you want eight three three seven
- 17:01Speaker 5: eight seven one oh two nine, or you can do
- 17:04Speaker 5: at Billy on the radio on Instagram.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Okay, and uh, I'm just gonna come out swinging. You
- 17:08Speaker 3: tell us right now, sir, Just tell us what you did.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Go ahead, So my neighbor doesn't know I stole his dog.
- 17:17Speaker 7: Here we go.
- 17:18Speaker 3: See, Yeah, I told you this one dog. You stole
- 17:22Speaker 3: your neighbor's dog.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Whatle dog? Yeah, I mean, honestly, I wouldn't even doubt
- 17:32Speaker 2: if he thinks it was me, and I don't care.
- 17:35Speaker 3: So what happened?
- 17:36Speaker 2: So I complained on him multiple times, called the cops,
- 17:40Speaker 2: called animal control. They'd come out and they would do nothing.
- 17:45Speaker 2: And the reason they said they couldn't do anything he
- 17:47Speaker 2: he had his dog outside twenty four seven. Oh, I
- 17:50Speaker 2: hate that all right, twenty four seven. But they said
- 17:54Speaker 2: since the dog had shade, shelter technically, even though it
- 17:57Speaker 2: was just some raggedy ass doghouse. Yeah, and he always
- 18:01Speaker 2: kept like an old bowl pretty much of water. But
- 18:04Speaker 2: since they had that outside for him, they said, there's
- 18:07Speaker 2: nothing that they could do.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Wow.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Right, as long as you have shelter and water, it's
- 18:12Speaker 2: technically not abuse or the glass.
- 18:15Speaker 5: Which is crazy to me because that, I mean, it's Texas.
- 18:17Speaker 5: It's a hundred degrees a hundred plus A dog, Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 5: it needs special It can't.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Be outside twenty four hours a day. I get it.
- 18:25Speaker 3: A great there's shade, awesome, cool, there's water, But why
- 18:28Speaker 3: would I don't know? It's just I'm a dog guy.
- 18:31Speaker 3: So you're saying I'm sensed when it comes to this,
- 18:33Speaker 3: So I get it.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yeah, And I mean I don't even know why you
- 18:35Speaker 2: would have an outside dog. I mean that is crazy
- 18:38Speaker 2: to me. I mean, for what, he didn't play with it,
- 18:40Speaker 2: he didn't spend time with the dog. It looked sick.
- 18:42Speaker 2: It was crazy. So one night I had enough and
- 18:46Speaker 2: I hopped the fence, took his collar off, because at
- 18:49Speaker 2: night he would keep him outside. Still he would just
- 18:51Speaker 2: time to a really long leash.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yeah, so you went over there, you took him, yeah,
- 19:00Speaker 2: him popped over the fence, took the collar off, put
- 19:02Speaker 2: him back over the fence, took him inside. And then
- 19:04Speaker 2: that next morning I called a buddy of mine, he's
- 19:08Speaker 2: got some land in East Texas. You've got a bunch
- 19:10Speaker 2: of animals, and he said he'd be more than happy
- 19:13Speaker 2: to take him in. So I got him there that more.
- 19:15Speaker 3: I'm not even mad. I'm not even mad at you, honestly,
- 19:19Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 19:20Speaker 5: I know that's probably a hot take, and some people
- 19:22Speaker 5: would be like, you can't steal people's dogs, right, No,
- 19:24Speaker 5: you can't. This dog went from in a backyard twenty
- 19:26Speaker 5: four to seven, not getting any interaction any kind of
- 19:29Speaker 5: you know, playtime, and now he's on a farm in
- 19:32Speaker 5: East Texas with land or whatever.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the crazy part. It's been two weeks
- 19:39Speaker 2: and he hasn't even come over once to ask me
- 19:41Speaker 2: if I've seen his dog. I mean you can tell
- 19:43Speaker 2: he doesn't care at all.
- 19:45Speaker 1: See wow.
- 19:46Speaker 3: I mean do you regret doing it?
- 19:49Speaker 6: No?
- 19:50Speaker 2: I zero remorse.
- 19:51Speaker 7: No.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, and it's I'm sorry, but not really sorry.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I mean you just don't get a dog keep him outside.
- 19:58Speaker 6: And ignore it.
- 19:59Speaker 3: I don't why do people do? And that is a
- 20:01Speaker 3: thing though therapy.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and some of them bark all night.
- 20:04Speaker 5: I had someone say to me the other day when
- 20:05Speaker 5: I was walking my dog. They were like, oh, your
- 20:07Speaker 5: dog is so pretty, and I was like, oh, thank you,
- 20:08Speaker 5: And they're like, is it Is it a house dog?
- 20:10Speaker 5: And I thought to myself, what, it's a house dog?
- 20:17Speaker 5: It's everything dog. It's my best friend.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Literally, No, your dog. If we can drive you around you.
- 20:23Speaker 5: He goes everywhere he's in. Not only is a house dog,
- 20:26Speaker 5: he's a bed dog. Yeah, he's doing whatever he wants.
- 20:29Speaker 5: He runs the damn house.
- 20:31Speaker 6: Right.
- 20:31Speaker 3: I don't know why anybody would keep a dog and
- 20:33Speaker 3: just keep it outside, but I know people who do it.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I kind of kind of feel like
- 20:40Speaker 2: you do.
- 20:42Speaker 3: You know what, you are a hero? You are a hero.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I mean it's one of those things that if you
- 20:48Speaker 2: just if you just heard about what I did, it's
- 20:50Speaker 2: kind of like, oh, how did you steal someone's dog?
- 20:52Speaker 2: But when you know the actual details, it's like, Man,
- 20:54Speaker 2: I don't feel bad at all.
- 20:55Speaker 3: I'm going to see what people think.
- 20:56Speaker 5: I'm gonna see how many people think this was the
- 20:58Speaker 5: right thing to do and how many people think this
- 21:01Speaker 5: was the wrong thing to do, just to get a
- 21:03Speaker 5: quick poll and see.
- 21:04Speaker 3: But I'm on the right category. I think you're fine.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I definitely feel happy for the dog.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yeah, for real. The Candice is so torn right now.
- 21:11Speaker 3: She's like a rule follower. She's like, you can't steal things.
- 21:16Speaker 3: But I'll see what people think. Hey, sir, thank you
- 21:19Speaker 3: so much, and let us know if anything happens or
- 21:21Speaker 3: if he comes over and says anything to you.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, guys, I appreciate.
- 21:25Speaker 3: It all right, Wow, stole a dog?
- 21:27Speaker 1: Unreal.
- 21:28Speaker 5: Before we do Texas Top Stories on the New Mix
- 21:31Speaker 5: one on two point nine, let's talk about dirty Little Secret,
- 21:33Speaker 5: becuse we're getting a lot of calls about it.
- 21:34Speaker 3: This guy stole his neighbor's dog because the dog just
- 21:38Speaker 3: wasn't getting treated right.
- 21:39Speaker 5: Yeah, it's an outside dog and just sits there and
- 21:42Speaker 5: does it have food and water?
- 21:43Speaker 3: I guess barely. And he was like sick of seeing
- 21:45Speaker 3: the dog out there just kind of like suffering, so
- 21:48Speaker 3: he stole the dog and gave it to a friend
- 21:49Speaker 3: on a farm. And I'm like, you know, and I
- 21:51Speaker 3: love our listeners because almost all the calls are like,
- 21:54Speaker 3: I would have done the same thing. I would have
- 21:56Speaker 3: done the same thing. You know, Patrick, what would you
- 21:58Speaker 3: do now on.
- 22:00Speaker 2: A dog person?
- 22:00Speaker 3: I think he's the ride. Yeah, that dog's living its
- 22:03Speaker 3: best life now.
- 22:04Speaker 5: Patrick's on you know, some land in East Texas, actually
- 22:07Speaker 5: hanging out with other dogs.
- 22:08Speaker 3: And there's a little story.
- 22:09Speaker 6: And there was a shop I was working in there
- 22:11Speaker 6: in Oklahoma, and the neighbor right across had a dog
- 22:14Speaker 6: and she would come over and hang out in the
- 22:16Speaker 6: shop and play that all day.
- 22:18Speaker 2: And I was going to take bat dog.
- 22:20Speaker 7: Because she didn't look like she was that well.
- 22:23Speaker 1: And yeah, the next day he.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Got evicted and moved and I didn't get a chance
- 22:27Speaker 2: to hear.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, see, that's the kind of dog you want
- 22:31Speaker 3: to take in we have big hearts. That's why, Patrick,
- 22:34Speaker 3: we have big hearts.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Hey, thank you Patrick, You guys, y'all have a good day.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Hey you too. Man, have a good day. Don't work
- 22:41Speaker 3: too hard. Get there. I'm there, Dennison, I like Patrick.
- 22:44Speaker 3: All right, all right, let's do it now.
- 22:45Speaker 9: Here is Texas Top Stories on the Tents with Billy
- 22:48Speaker 9: the Kid in the morning.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Only on the new Mixed one or two point nine Quick.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Heads up too.
- 22:53Speaker 5: While I'm thinking about it, you know Friday, we're doing
- 22:55Speaker 5: Cooper Flag Friday. Yeah, So MAVs tickets all day long
- 22:58Speaker 5: starting like six am, every single hour at the thirty
- 23:02Speaker 5: two March. So six thirty two, seven thirty two at
- 23:05Speaker 5: thirty two is his numbers. So shout out to Cooper
- 23:07Speaker 5: Flag and the MAVs. It's his first home game as
- 23:10Speaker 5: a mav regular season on a big deal. So Candice,
- 23:13Speaker 5: what's going on?
- 23:14Speaker 1: Well, the largest ever paid a to a single winner
- 23:16Speaker 1: of the Texas Lottery was just given out. This was
- 23:19Speaker 1: that winning ticket from the power ball that was sold
- 23:21Speaker 1: in Fredericksburg last month. Remember that was when the jackpot
- 23:24Speaker 1: was up to one point eight billion dollars. Well, they
- 23:27Speaker 1: took the cash value option The prize ended up being
- 23:30Speaker 1: over four hundred and ten million dollars, and the person
- 23:34Speaker 1: who won, they said they usually pick random numbers, but
- 23:37Speaker 1: this time they hand picked the numbers, then realized one
- 23:40Speaker 1: of those numbers was not what they meant to even choose,
- 23:43Speaker 1: and just went with it. No way hit all the
- 23:45Speaker 1: numbers and the power ball, they said. When they were
- 23:48Speaker 1: driving to church that morning after the drawing, they checked
- 23:52Speaker 1: the ticket, realized they had won, put it in the
- 23:54Speaker 1: glove box of their car, and went into church and
- 23:56Speaker 1: then pulled over multiple times just to recheck the numbers.
- 24:00Speaker 1: But there was a trust that claimed this prize and
- 24:03Speaker 1: said they planned to enjoy the money and share it
- 24:05Speaker 1: with people who are special. They'll serve the community, asking
- 24:07Speaker 1: for privacy and looking forward to enjoying their lives together
- 24:11Speaker 1: as a family and God best blessed Texas.
- 24:13Speaker 3: They said, good for them, you know how amazing. So
- 24:15Speaker 3: they knew they had a winning ticket, they said, we'll
- 24:17Speaker 3: get back to this and we'll go to church first.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna put in the glove box, keep it
- 24:21Speaker 1: safe while I go.
- 24:22Speaker 3: I wouldn't have.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Let that thing go.
- 24:23Speaker 3: I love the Good Lord, don't leave me, but I
- 24:26Speaker 3: might have to skip church. I might have to skip church.
- 24:31Speaker 3: That ticket is not leaving my sight, right, I'm going immediately.
- 24:35Speaker 5: Can you imagine if the car would have gotten stolen
- 24:37Speaker 5: right just out of a freak, That's something that would
- 24:39Speaker 5: happen to me.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Or they went out to eat and they valaid the
- 24:43Speaker 3: car in the valley.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I mean I would never have trusted anyone near my
- 24:47Speaker 1: car if I knew that.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I know. Either way, well, I'm happy for them.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Yeah, for real, congratulations guys. There's a new trend for
- 24:54Speaker 1: adult birthday parties. Google says searches for magicians for hire
- 24:59Speaker 1: or at an all time high. Yeah, not for kids,
- 25:02Speaker 1: this is for adult parties. They're saying the trend is
- 25:04Speaker 1: mostly for Gen Z adults because they had like a
- 25:07Speaker 1: rough time during the pandemic and they're like transition into
- 25:10Speaker 1: adulthood was, you know, unusual, So they're just trying to
- 25:13Speaker 1: revisit their childhood.
- 25:14Speaker 3: I never really thought about that.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Yeah, we always talk about the COVID babies and how
- 25:18Speaker 1: they're all in kindergarten this year and stuff, But yeah,
- 25:21Speaker 1: I think about the people, you know, trying to become
- 25:23Speaker 1: adults during that time, and you know, like it must
- 25:26Speaker 1: have been weird for them.
- 25:27Speaker 5: It was weird for everyone, but it had to be
- 25:29Speaker 5: really weird for them, considering like especially the people who
- 25:32Speaker 5: had missed their senior year.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Yeah, that's sad.
- 25:35Speaker 3: So they're hiring adult magicians.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Yeah, so if you're looking for one, search party magician.
- 25:41Speaker 3: I've kind of seen this trend online and the videos
- 25:44Speaker 3: are hysterical because it looks like a kid's birthday party,
- 25:46Speaker 3: but then you pan out to the crowd and it's
- 25:49Speaker 3: just a bunch of adults, don't they do?
- 25:53Speaker 1: They do magic over here at the Magic time Machine?
- 25:54Speaker 1: Is that still open? That place? Aison?
- 25:56Speaker 3: Gosh, I forgot about that place? Is it still? I
- 25:59Speaker 3: think it is? I think so you gotta be still.
- 26:01Speaker 3: It's right next to Hooters.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Well Hooters isn't there anymore?
- 26:05Speaker 3: Don't bring that up's having a good day.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Thinks we got to go right before they closed.
- 26:11Speaker 3: And we did. We did?
- 26:12Speaker 6: I think?
- 26:13Speaker 3: I think, yeah, I think you did. I think you
- 26:15Speaker 3: actually took them out of business. Wings you ate all
- 26:19Speaker 3: the Wingsmer manager?
- 26:23Speaker 5: Yeah, we met the manager, Matt. Yeah, he had a
- 26:26Speaker 5: black eye, ran black mat black eyed Matt.
- 26:31Speaker 3: We called him.
- 26:32Speaker 5: We're like, why do you have a black guy He's like, oh,
- 26:33Speaker 5: my dog did, and he had a band aid on
- 26:36Speaker 5: his ear listens was struggling.
- 26:39Speaker 1: His customer service was phenomenal, five stars.
- 26:43Speaker 3: I often wonder, where's Matt at now? No, where's Black
- 26:47Speaker 3: Eyed Matt? No? No check in.
- 26:48Speaker 1: If you're listening to Matt, We'll meet up at the
- 26:51Speaker 1: West End.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Thank you that one west End.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Yeah, we got to talk about this guy. Kevin Featherline
- 27:01Speaker 1: is talking about his memoir and when I say talking,
- 27:03Speaker 1: he is talking. This book is called You Thought You Knew.
- 27:06Speaker 1: It's coming out on Tuesday, and it is very clear
- 27:09Speaker 1: he does not think Brittany should have been let out
- 27:11Speaker 1: of her conservatorship. He's claiming their kids used to be
- 27:14Speaker 1: afraid to spend time with her because of her erratic behavior.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Now they're twenty and nineteen years old now, but he
- 27:21Speaker 1: says they would wake up at night sometimes and she
- 27:24Speaker 1: would be standing there, silent in the doorway, watching them sleep,
- 27:29Speaker 1: and she would have a knife in her hand, which
- 27:31Speaker 1: is like, wait, that's.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Beyond She would watch them sleep, Why to ex who
- 27:37Speaker 3: did this?
- 27:38Speaker 1: So he says this happened more than once, So she.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Would stand in the doorway and this is sad, No,
- 27:44Speaker 3: this Yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 1: This is highly alarmed. I mean, listen to the other
- 27:47Speaker 1: things that he was saying, because it's really sad.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Let me hear this.
- 27:51Speaker 10: Yeah, absolutely, As a father terrified that one day I
- 27:55Speaker 10: might wake up and my sons are going to have
- 27:57Speaker 10: to deal with the unimagined them, I kind of have
- 27:59Speaker 10: to sound the alarm that.
- 28:03Speaker 3: I truly feel that, somehow, some way, I just wish
- 28:07Speaker 3: that their mom would get help. What's going on now,
- 28:10Speaker 3: and I'm not going to.
- 28:10Speaker 10: Get into details because I'm not going to just expose
- 28:13Speaker 10: her personal life, but it's ten times worse than anything
- 28:16Speaker 10: that I've said in my book.
- 28:17Speaker 3: I've stayed with my mouth shut for the sake of
- 28:19Speaker 3: my family. I've tried to help my sons.
- 28:21Speaker 11: Build a relationship with their mother, and I pray to
- 28:24Speaker 11: God every day that she gets the help that she needs,
- 28:26Speaker 11: or wakes up and realizes that you have two sons
- 28:29Speaker 11: right there in front of you that are screaming for a.
- 28:31Speaker 10: Life with you, the same that they have with the
- 28:35Speaker 10: rest of their family. At the end of the day,
- 28:37Speaker 10: I just want Brittany to be around for her children.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Oh that's a lot like a rep for Brittany says,
- 28:46Speaker 1: you know, with the book coming out once again, he
- 28:48Speaker 1: and others are profiting off of her and that sadly,
- 28:51Speaker 1: you know, this is after her child support has ended.
- 28:53Speaker 1: That he's doing this and saying this and releasing the book.
- 28:55Speaker 1: He sounds genuine. I don't know. I mean he has had,
- 28:58Speaker 1: you know, an interest past obviously.
- 29:01Speaker 5: Yeah, but I mean I think you know when he's saying,
- 29:04Speaker 5: what he's saying is scary. Yeah, honestly. But what he's
- 29:07Speaker 5: saying is, well, you know, I want her to wake
- 29:08Speaker 5: up for her kids. When somebody's mentally ill, you can't.
- 29:11Speaker 5: It's not that simple.
- 29:12Speaker 6: And she is.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Yeah, and it's obvious, and it's sad, and it's something
- 29:16Speaker 5: that we shouldn't be making fun of. Really, it's something
- 29:18Speaker 5: that she needs to get help with. Yeah, she doesn't
- 29:21Speaker 5: realize what she's going through, and it's sad. And I
- 29:23Speaker 5: think the conservative ship people are going to look back
- 29:25Speaker 5: and go, should she really have been quote unquote freed?
- 29:28Speaker 1: Right, Well, that's what he's saying, Like the Free Brittany movement,
- 29:31Speaker 1: you know, I mean that was a mistake. Yeah, you know,
- 29:34Speaker 1: is what he's saying. But it'll be interesting to see
- 29:37Speaker 1: what comes out of this book. I'm Candislopez. Those are
- 29:39Speaker 1: your Texas top stories.
- 29:42Speaker 6: All right.
- 29:43Speaker 7: He's doing for Cannas Court.
- 29:45Speaker 2: It gets settled here with Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 29:48Speaker 5: All rise for the honorable judge. Candislopez is straight out
- 29:51Speaker 5: of Mesquite. She resigns on this bench. She got her
- 29:54Speaker 5: law degree at Town East. Very well known, reputable judge
- 29:59Speaker 5: and right here. Yeah, thank you, Candas Lopez on the
- 30:02Speaker 5: new Mix one or two point nine. Don't forget we're
- 30:03Speaker 5: paying bills. We've got money.
- 30:04Speaker 3: If you want some one thousand dollars, get you some
- 30:06Speaker 3: cash all day, first chance to win around eight twenty.
- 30:09Speaker 3: So I want to give your heads up on that
- 30:10Speaker 3: because I know you want some money.
- 30:12Speaker 5: All right, Candas, if you got a problem, you can
- 30:13Speaker 5: always reach out to Candas at Candas on Air, on
- 30:15Speaker 5: Instagram at Candas on Air. This person has a neighbor issue. Oh,
- 30:20Speaker 5: they say, I have a neighbor issue. And I can't
- 30:21Speaker 5: decide if I'm just being a Karen or if there's
- 30:24Speaker 5: a legit problem here. About a month ago, my neighbor
- 30:27Speaker 5: had a garage sale. That garage sale has never ended.
- 30:31Speaker 5: What in fact, she's doing it every weekend and now
- 30:36Speaker 5: advertising on social media that it's becoming her quote hometown store.
- 30:42Speaker 7: No.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Wow.
- 30:45Speaker 5: Normally i'd mind my own business, but we live on
- 30:47Speaker 5: a dead end street in my house is at the
- 30:49Speaker 5: end of it. That means people are sometimes using my
- 30:52Speaker 5: driveway as a turnaround spot. Oh I'm annoyed by that already. Yeah,
- 30:58Speaker 5: that's an old person thing though.
- 31:00Speaker 1: By the way, being annoyed by people driving around in
- 31:02Speaker 1: your or turning around in your driveway, yeah no.
- 31:04Speaker 3: One young is like, hey, what are they doing? An
- 31:07Speaker 3: old person's like, hey, why why my driveway? Which does
- 31:13Speaker 3: it matter?
- 31:14Speaker 6: No?
- 31:14Speaker 5: Not anyway, they say that means people are sometimes using
- 31:18Speaker 5: my driveways turnaround spot. I've hung up signs and even
- 31:23Speaker 5: parked my car at the top of my driveway to put.
- 31:25Speaker 3: A stop to that. That's care and activity. I can't
- 31:30Speaker 3: find anything illegal about it, but it sure is annoying.
- 31:34Speaker 3: I was going to complain, but then I found out
- 31:37Speaker 3: that she's Oh she's what.
- 31:41Speaker 5: She's doing it to pay for her medical bills now,
- 31:43Speaker 5: and I'm wondering if my complaint is valid.
- 31:48Speaker 3: This was a no brainer until that last line. I
- 31:52Speaker 3: was like, you can't have a twenty four hour.
- 31:54Speaker 5: Garage sale every day, and obviously there's no hoa, because
- 32:00Speaker 5: wouldn't even allow that.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Cannis. You hear this your initial thoughts, Cannis Court, I mean.
- 32:04Speaker 1: First of all, your complaint is valid. You know, hometown store,
- 32:09Speaker 1: that's a do you have a business life? She maybe
- 32:13Speaker 1: permit to run a hometown store.
- 32:16Speaker 3: But I've seen this.
- 32:17Speaker 5: I've seen this happen where people have garage sales a lot,
- 32:20Speaker 5: and maybe not every single weekend. Yeah, not every single day,
- 32:23Speaker 5: but that that is excessive. But I've seen it happen.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a lot though. I mean, yeah, it would
- 32:31Speaker 1: bother me a bit, But then I would tell myself, like, look,
- 32:35Speaker 1: she's doing it for a good reason. Maybe this is
- 32:37Speaker 1: her only means of you know, paying these bills, and
- 32:40Speaker 1: it seems like it's working for her. Maybe it's not,
- 32:42Speaker 1: and that's why she's continuing to keep trying to sell
- 32:45Speaker 1: all this stuff. Well, it's hard not to feel bad
- 32:48Speaker 1: for her.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Maybe i'd try to you know what I would think
- 32:50Speaker 5: I would try to do. I think I try to
- 32:52Speaker 5: become friends with this person and introduce them to Facebook marketplace, yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 5: and say, you know this garage sale. I hope it's
- 32:59Speaker 5: working out for you, but I mean, you should have
- 33:01Speaker 5: all this stuff sold by now. You know what you
- 33:03Speaker 5: should do is you should put it all on Facebook marketplace.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll help you take pictures and post.
- 33:08Speaker 3: No, I'm not doing that.
- 33:09Speaker 1: I mean, what's worse.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Well, I'm not put in work unless I'm getting in money.
- 33:15Speaker 1: But you get your street cleaned up from traffic.
- 33:17Speaker 5: I don't care about my street that much, but I
- 33:20Speaker 5: would probably try to. Maybe you should do this online
- 33:23Speaker 5: and that would help you, you know a little bit more.
- 33:25Speaker 3: You know what do they say? What's that saying? You
- 33:27Speaker 3: attract more.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Honey?
- 33:30Speaker 3: Thank you?
- 33:31Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 33:32Speaker 3: Then poop.
- 33:34Speaker 8: Flaws the boo something like that. Yeah, because I don't know.
- 33:41Speaker 8: I don't trust people.
- 33:42Speaker 3: You know what is she just telling you, Oh, I'm
- 33:44Speaker 3: doing this for my medical bills and she ain't got
- 33:47Speaker 3: no medical Yeah, she's faking a sickness poop. I mean
- 33:53Speaker 3: she she could say like she went in what does
- 33:55Speaker 3: she went in for her for her big toe? You
- 33:57Speaker 3: know what I'm saying?
- 33:58Speaker 1: Just something slight in here, like how serious could get?
- 34:01Speaker 3: Yeah, you get medical bills for anything nowadays. Well, it's
- 34:04Speaker 3: still a medical condition, a big toe to toes her?
- 34:09Speaker 3: I mean, come on, man, I mean what you can't
- 34:12Speaker 3: afford the doctor? It's a problem, It doesn't matter what
- 34:15Speaker 3: it's for. I get that.
- 34:16Speaker 8: But a lot of people out there like the toy
- 34:18Speaker 8: with your heartstrings, so they keep scheming.
- 34:21Speaker 3: So you're saying, unless it's something serious, yeah too bad. Yeah,
- 34:24Speaker 3: like you got to go.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I'd definitely be curious, like what what kind of medical bills?
- 34:28Speaker 1: What's the issue?
- 34:29Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 34:29Speaker 3: Want to be you wouldn't want to be nosy about it.
- 34:32Speaker 1: You guys want to know, Well, what's so big that
- 34:35Speaker 1: we have to open a hometown store all the time?
- 34:40Speaker 3: What happened to neighbors rallying to help each other.
- 34:42Speaker 1: We're going to help if it's it's necessary fact, like
- 34:45Speaker 1: it's a flood or something. Scams have been out there,
- 34:48Speaker 1: people with these fake go fundme for like some fake
- 34:50Speaker 1: they're running.
- 34:51Speaker 3: That's not what this is. I mean go fund me
- 34:54Speaker 3: you're getting nothing, right, you're just donating.
- 34:57Speaker 5: This is a garagell where she's putting the service out there,
- 35:00Speaker 5: but you're getting something for money.
- 35:02Speaker 3: You know how detailed you are, I know you'd have
- 35:04Speaker 3: I would not mind at all and people just driving
- 35:07Speaker 3: the in and out of your drive and bother me.
- 35:10Speaker 5: I'd maybe capitalize and have my son set up a
- 35:12Speaker 5: lemonade stamp of this year.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Store next door.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd open hometown store number two and try to
- 35:22Speaker 3: put her out of business.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Yeah, my old clothes are better than your.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you. Okay, this is a tough one, Cannice.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Do you have a verdict.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I do have a verdict. Look, I don't think you're
- 35:31Speaker 1: necessarily a Karen, but you are a next door Nancy,
- 35:34Speaker 1: that's for sure. I never ending garage show is a
- 35:38Speaker 1: little excessive. But let's just see you some time and
- 35:41Speaker 1: see how much longer this goes on? Like, how for real?
- 35:44Speaker 1: How long did she keep this up? It's been a month.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Let's do once a month, right, monthly? Hometown store. That
- 35:50Speaker 1: makes it sound exclusive neighbor Yeah, Kane, Okay, all right,
- 35:54Speaker 1: I'm selling out of everything. We can only open once
- 35:56Speaker 1: a month.
- 35:57Speaker 3: So it could be a city ordnance that she's violent,
- 36:00Speaker 3: So who knows. Either way, she is guilty of.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Being as she's a next door Nancy. Next door Nancy, Karen.
- 36:06Speaker 6: There you go.
- 36:07Speaker 5: It's the new mix one or two point nine. Bail
- 36:09Speaker 5: at a kid, Candace Lompans producer, who is here? Let
- 36:12Speaker 5: me get my music?
- 36:12Speaker 3: Thank you? Yes, hit it because it's it's spooky season.
- 36:16Speaker 5: We're going to talk about some scary places, some real
- 36:18Speaker 5: life haunted places, they say. And when I say they
- 36:21Speaker 5: am talking about paranormal experts all over the country, all
- 36:24Speaker 5: over the world come to certain places in Texas because
- 36:28Speaker 5: this is one of the most haunted places ever.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Great, yeah, I know, and trigger warning. There's some real
- 36:34Speaker 3: stuff that happens in these stories that have been told
- 36:37Speaker 3: that is it's scary. So and one of these places
- 36:41Speaker 3: they say is the most haunted places in Dallas is
- 36:44Speaker 3: a hotel that you have stayed at, kandas I've stayed
- 36:47Speaker 3: at who I don't know if you've stayed there. I've
- 36:49Speaker 3: never stayed there. The Adolphus Hotel. The Adolphus Hotel, which
- 36:55Speaker 3: is incredibly beautiful.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been to the French Room too.
- 36:58Speaker 3: What is the French Room.
- 37:00Speaker 1: That's where you go for tea like they.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Oh, that's where that was.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Well, the Adolphus Hotel is considered to be one of
- 37:11Speaker 3: the most haunted hotels in the world. In the world, yes,
- 37:15Speaker 3: in the world, not just Texas, in the world, which
- 37:18Speaker 3: is kind of crazy to think about.
- 37:20Speaker 5: It was opened in nineteen twelve. Who remembers of grand opening.
- 37:23Speaker 5: He was there, Who was actually there?
- 37:28Speaker 6: What was that night?
- 37:29Speaker 3: Like I think Marilyn Monroe was there?
- 37:34Speaker 7: Who was there?
- 37:35Speaker 5: Either way, the hotel was built by Anheuser Busch company,
- 37:40Speaker 5: the Adolphine Well Adolphus is Adolphus Bush. So the people
- 37:45Speaker 5: who opened that hotel was, yeah, Anheuser Busch company, Adolphus Bush.
- 37:50Speaker 3: But here's the crazy part. So when they opened the
- 37:52Speaker 3: hotel right away, there was all these issues with the
- 37:55Speaker 3: elevator where multiple people died in the elevator shaft.
- 37:59Speaker 6: What.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Yeah, well, last time I was there it was broken.
- 38:02Speaker 3: Well now now I'm just gonna say this, it's perfectly safe.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Now.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, there might be some incidents that people
- 38:10Speaker 3: say they've had some run ins with spirits and whatnot,
- 38:13Speaker 3: but they've never had any crazy incidents recently.
- 38:16Speaker 5: I'm talking about way back in the day. They say
- 38:19Speaker 5: there was multiple people who died in the elevator shaft.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Multiple. Well back then and Pooh can attest to this.
- 38:28Speaker 3: The elevators were different, So the elevator.
- 38:30Speaker 5: Shafts were kind of open, so you know, you could
- 38:33Speaker 5: step into one, which they were living crazy back then.
- 38:37Speaker 5: You could just step in an elevator shaft drop and die.
- 38:40Speaker 3: But that's what happened to multiple people, including a band
- 38:44Speaker 3: member that was playing I guess in one of the
- 38:46Speaker 3: conference rooms or whatnot.
- 38:47Speaker 5: They were trying to load band equipment. So now they
- 38:51Speaker 5: say that throughout the hotel, certain times at night around
- 38:55Speaker 5: when the band would be unloading and loading, you can hear.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Like a trumpet or some kind of instrument playing, and
- 39:03Speaker 3: they say it's that band member who dies, who fell
- 39:07Speaker 3: in the elevator shaft and passed away. Okay, that's multiple people.
- 39:11Speaker 5: Some people have even said that they've seen spirits who
- 39:16Speaker 5: look like they are from back then, riding the elevator
- 39:20Speaker 5: with them up and down.
- 39:23Speaker 3: No, I'm serious. Whooe, you're laughing. Go stay there though, Nope.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Stay I love their coffee shop and their little retail.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Now. I've went there and I've never had an incident.
- 39:36Speaker 3: I've stayed there. I never had an incident.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, no, I mean I never had an incident either.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I love the history there because you can see like
- 39:41Speaker 1: who all stayed here and had tea here and like
- 39:43Speaker 1: you know the royals.
- 39:44Speaker 5: Oh yeah, tons of celebrities have stayed there, especially back
- 39:48Speaker 5: in the day and still to this day. But back
- 39:50Speaker 5: in the day. It was a hotspot for celebrities. Now
- 39:53Speaker 5: this is the freaky story, though, I don't know if
- 39:55Speaker 5: you're ready for this one. So the most famous spirit
- 39:58Speaker 5: they say that haunts the halls of the Adolphice Hotel
- 40:01Speaker 5: is the ghost of a young bride to be who
- 40:04Speaker 5: arrived in Dallas for her wedding in nineteen thirty five.
- 40:06Speaker 5: The guests gathered inside the hotel's you know, perfect ornate ballroom.
- 40:10Speaker 5: It's on the nineteenth floor.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I've stayed on that floor.
- 40:13Speaker 5: Well yep, then that was the room that this bride
- 40:16Speaker 5: stayed in. What No, I'm serious? Hello, so they say
- 40:21Speaker 5: what they say? Everybody waited for the bride to make
- 40:25Speaker 5: her way down the aisle, yet the groom was nowhere
- 40:29Speaker 5: to be found. The wedding party waited for hours, but
- 40:31Speaker 5: the groom never arrived. Heartbroken and humiliated, the bride fled
- 40:36Speaker 5: the scene okay, took off because the groom never showed up.
- 40:40Speaker 5: Hours later, she was found hanging just a few feet
- 40:43Speaker 5: above the altar.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, what yes?
- 40:47Speaker 3: Yeh, no, this is like a real story. What yes.
- 40:50Speaker 5: Everybody freaked out, ran out. They don't know what happened,
- 40:54Speaker 5: and the groom was never found. They don't know what
- 40:57Speaker 5: happened to the groom, and the bride was deceased, and
- 41:01Speaker 5: they say her spirit roams the hotel hallways to this day.
- 41:07Speaker 5: Staff and guests say the hotel, the hotel is haunted
- 41:11Speaker 5: by a jilted bride.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Specifically in that room that I think. Can'tice you stayed.
- 41:16Speaker 1: There well because they were sold out or whatever. And
- 41:17Speaker 1: they were like, we have a big suite. It's usually
- 41:19Speaker 1: used for like bridal parties and stuff, like they get
- 41:22Speaker 1: ready in there, but like you know, they stay in there.
- 41:24Speaker 1: It's like I got a couch, a dining table and
- 41:26Speaker 1: all this stuff, and we're like, that's cool. It was
- 41:27Speaker 1: so quiet of there because none nothing was happening in
- 41:30Speaker 1: the ballrooms.
- 41:31Speaker 3: That's exactly right.
- 41:32Speaker 5: People have spotted the bride wandering the halls after events
- 41:35Speaker 5: and parties, wearing her white dress and veil, asking for
- 41:41Speaker 5: a certain name, and that's the groom of groom that.
- 41:44Speaker 3: She's looking for.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Had a Caesar salad in that room.
- 41:46Speaker 5: And sometimes they say, if you turn off the lights
- 41:49Speaker 5: you can hear this. No, I'm serious, but we're going
- 41:57Speaker 5: to stay in that and you can't text me back.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Let us know what you think.
- 42:06Speaker 5: Here's today's hot take, I taking the day on the
- 42:09Speaker 5: new Mix one on two point nine and get ready
- 42:10Speaker 5: because we've got some money coming up next one thousand dollars.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Your chance at that as we pay your bills all day.
- 42:16Speaker 5: It's Bailey the Kid, Candae Lopez, producer pood Now, what
- 42:19Speaker 5: professions do you think make the worst spouses? I love
- 42:23Speaker 5: this kind of stuff because well, they asked somebody. They
- 42:25Speaker 5: asked on a thread. Somebody asked like on ready, hey,
- 42:28Speaker 5: what professions? Named the profession? And then somebody added them
- 42:31Speaker 5: all up and made a list of the worst ones.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Okay, the ones got named the worst, and Candice, you
- 42:36Speaker 3: said you guessed, Yeah, pilots. Pilots on the list? Was
- 42:40Speaker 3: pilots on the list? Yes it was. It was one
- 42:44Speaker 3: of the top ones.
- 42:45Speaker 5: Pilots And so many comments said, uh that you can't
- 42:49Speaker 5: trust them on their layovers.
- 42:51Speaker 1: I mean they're always gone right, always.
- 42:53Speaker 5: Many comments anywhere I don't know, but yeah, that was literally,
- 42:56Speaker 5: like one of the commers is I was a flight
- 42:58Speaker 5: attendant and I've seen how they act and what they
- 43:00Speaker 5: do on layovers.
- 43:01Speaker 3: I would never trust a pilot, all right, So poo,
- 43:04Speaker 3: which one did you say? Make the worst pouces lawyers
- 43:07Speaker 3: lit's lawyers? Is lawyers on the list?
- 43:09Speaker 6: Is it?
- 43:10Speaker 3: Yes?
- 43:10Speaker 6: It is?
- 43:12Speaker 3: It is on the list.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Lawyers.
- 43:14Speaker 3: Well. One of the comments says, often married to the job,
- 43:17Speaker 3: they work too much and it's usually just for money.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Oh well, yeah, that's why everyone's working.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I mean, come on, really mostly yeah, I.
- 43:26Speaker 3: Just wouldn't want to date a lawyer because they argue
- 43:29Speaker 3: too good. Yeah, I know. I don't need to lose
- 43:32Speaker 3: and arguments more than I already do. Some of the
- 43:36Speaker 3: other ones on the list were Wow, this one was
- 43:39Speaker 3: one of the top ones. Bar manager or restaurant server. Oh, okay,
- 43:46Speaker 3: service industry, folks, Yeah, service industry was way up there.
- 43:49Speaker 3: They worked too much, often twelve to fifteen hours, holidays,
- 43:53Speaker 3: they work weekends, they work. The term restaurant widow is
- 43:57Speaker 3: a real thing.
- 43:59Speaker 5: Yeah, restaurant widow another one on the list that This
- 44:02Speaker 5: one kind of surprised me because I don't know if
- 44:03Speaker 5: I agree with this one.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Chefs, Oh, chefs were the lists and it doesn't really
- 44:09Speaker 3: say why.
- 44:10Speaker 5: It was just like, chefs are on the list because
- 44:11Speaker 5: maybe I don't know if they're around the servers who
- 44:14Speaker 5: are crazy.
- 44:16Speaker 3: I don't know. Right. Another one was a police officer.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Yeah I can see that too, which shout out.
- 44:22Speaker 3: To our police officers.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but they are on the call, on call, on
- 44:26Speaker 1: the go, like yeah.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think that a lady cop either. You
- 44:31Speaker 3: don't think you can made a lady cop? What about
- 44:34Speaker 3: a man cop? No, I'm just day a law enforcement lady.
- 44:39Speaker 8: No, not why because they'd be, you know, trying to
- 44:42Speaker 8: bring that masculine energy home, you know, trying to boss me.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Yeah, what I'm gonna do if I can't mouthed off
- 44:50Speaker 3: to her? What she gonna do? You know what I'm saying.
- 44:52Speaker 5: So you think female all female cops have masculine energy,
- 44:56Speaker 5: the ones and the ones that have arrested me, that
- 44:59Speaker 5: is not true.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah they don't. Oh yeah, she wouldn't call for backup.
- 45:05Speaker 3: We're nothing, pat me down and everything was like, hey girl.
- 45:07Speaker 1: We didn't need it.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Girl. She was like, oh, this little guy, give me
- 45:17Speaker 3: the handcuffs. I got this, this little dude right here,
- 45:23Speaker 3: I got him. No, I think I definitely could. I
- 45:26Speaker 3: think that makes sense. I don't think all female cops
- 45:28Speaker 3: are masculine.
- 45:30Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 45:30Speaker 5: Whatever, that's just my p and I don't think they
- 45:32Speaker 5: would date you anyway, because I don't think they could
- 45:34Speaker 5: date people with the record or warrants active warrants. Another
- 45:40Speaker 5: one that was all over the list were flight attendants.
- 45:43Speaker 5: Doesn't really shock me say that.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Yeah, if pilots are on there, wouldn't they do.
- 45:47Speaker 5: Attendants were on the list. Yeah, and for the same reason.
- 45:50Speaker 5: They say they work away from home for days or weeks.
- 45:53Speaker 5: Jet Lag messes with the body, and they deal with
- 45:55Speaker 5: unruly passengers with a smile, so when they come home
- 45:58Speaker 5: they don't want to deal with anything. Also, cheating is
- 46:00Speaker 5: through the roof when you're a flight attendant. Is this
- 46:03Speaker 5: I want to know people who are in these professions?
- 46:05Speaker 3: Is this true? Eight three, three, seven, eight, seven one
- 46:07Speaker 3: two nine. Another one that I just did not see
- 46:09Speaker 3: coming that was high up on the list is architects.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Why they designed building? I know one of my neighbors
- 46:15Speaker 3: is an architect. That's weird, like he's a good guy. No,
- 46:17Speaker 3: they say high strung type A personalities, perfectionists and often narcissistic.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Oh didn't think about that.
- 46:27Speaker 6: Wow.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Another one that tie up on the list nurses.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Really.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Yeah, they say they're drained, they're burnout. They get home
- 46:34Speaker 3: and they have no energy for their spouse, I know.
- 46:37Speaker 1: And they've seen a lot at work.
- 46:38Speaker 6: You know.
- 46:39Speaker 3: I think that's sad because shout out to our nurses.
- 46:41Speaker 3: You work so hard.
- 46:43Speaker 5: You deserve someone to put up with, you know, that schedule.
- 46:46Speaker 5: It's it's tough. Yeah, it's tough on the nurses of course,
- 46:49Speaker 5: and their spouses for Okay, all right, that's.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Enough. Also, surgeons was on the list. Oh yeah, surgeon yea.
- 47:02Speaker 5: The personality type of a surgeon is often relentless and
- 47:05Speaker 5: a sociopathic person with a singular interest of just being
- 47:09Speaker 5: the best in their field.
- 47:10Speaker 3: They have no time for personal relationships. That's a lot
- 47:14Speaker 3: for me. I wouldn't want to do. You know who
- 47:17Speaker 3: I would put on list psychologist, psychologist, because they're just
- 47:23Speaker 3: going to be reading you in the entire time.
- 47:24Speaker 5: Like Canna Lopez, you're married to an actor. Yeah, and
- 47:27Speaker 5: Eric's a fantastic guy is but I just don't know
- 47:30Speaker 5: how And he's a good actor.
- 47:31Speaker 3: I would ate a bad actor. He's a good actor.
- 47:34Speaker 3: So how do you know when he's not lying?
- 47:36Speaker 2: Here?
- 47:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I know it's hard sometimes, but I mean he
- 47:39Speaker 1: doesn't lie so at least as far as I know.
- 47:42Speaker 1: So yeah, I can tell what he's like embellishing or
- 47:45Speaker 1: being more dramatic. How but that's about it. Well, I
- 47:48Speaker 1: just can when you read someone for so long, you
- 47:51Speaker 1: kind of get it. But it's hard.
- 47:52Speaker 3: He's a great actor to make himself cry though, Yeah
- 47:54Speaker 3: that's true. If I know I make himself cry.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, doubt if I'm.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Gonna get in trouble by my wife just after an argument,
- 48:04Speaker 3: after an argument? Do you ever hear cut.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Your new Home of Philly the kid in the morning?
- 48:11Speaker 5: What spouses? What professions make the worst spouses? Right for
- 48:16Speaker 5: hot to take of the day on the new Mix
- 48:17Speaker 5: one or two point nine, And my dms and calls
- 48:20Speaker 5: have blown up about one profession that was mentioned, actually
- 48:24Speaker 5: two two professions that were mentioned in the same industry,
- 48:27Speaker 5: out of all the calls, out of all the dms
- 48:30Speaker 5: to NonStop and what do you think they are?
- 48:33Speaker 3: Cannis.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gotta be pilots.
- 48:35Speaker 5: The pilots and flight attendants. Wow, I'm getting so many
- 48:39Speaker 5: dms about how they cheat.
- 48:40Speaker 3: It makes me so sad. I'm like, no way, I
- 48:43Speaker 3: just got one. I just got one from I won't
- 48:45Speaker 3: say your name.
- 48:46Speaker 5: Actually she said, I'm a flight attendant and I don't
- 48:48Speaker 5: know any flight attendants that have cheated, but pilots.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Yes, that's all it's said. So I know you had
- 48:57Speaker 3: another one that one other profession Cannis.
- 48:59Speaker 1: Yeah, Adrian said, Oh, as far as the worst professions
- 49:02Speaker 1: because they're out of town, the higher possibility of cheating.
- 49:05Speaker 3: They're gone all the time around. Worst professions that make spouses,
- 49:11Speaker 3: worst professions you know that are just hard to be
- 49:12Speaker 3: married to and hard to be with. And okay, so
- 49:14Speaker 3: I won't say your name, but you want to talk
- 49:17Speaker 3: about flight attendants and pilots because you work. You work
- 49:19Speaker 3: at the airport.
- 49:20Speaker 9: Yeah, I work Here's a DFW airport. I've been here twenty.
- 49:23Speaker 12: Four years and I've been married to a flight attendant. Oh,
- 49:28Speaker 12: I hope for to get I hope for to get
- 49:31Speaker 12: a flight attendent job. When I moved here with here
- 49:33Speaker 12: at THEFW with my job. Yeah, and then I see
- 49:37Speaker 12: I seen everything.
- 49:38Speaker 9: From back doors. What those people do are the worst
- 49:41Speaker 9: people do? What you're the worst people? You just cannot
- 49:46Speaker 9: trust them. Those people you cannot trust.
- 49:48Speaker 3: So you're saying, you're saying flight attendants or pilots are
- 49:50Speaker 3: both both.
- 49:54Speaker 7: I'm seeing them both, you know, And they always always
- 49:58Speaker 7: go in a group and they're always checking o at
- 50:00Speaker 7: the hotel, and they always get hotel rooms individually, but
- 50:05Speaker 7: they don't stay individually. Go to your next room. I'm sorry.
- 50:14Speaker 7: If anybody's married out there to a pilot or to
- 50:17Speaker 7: a flight stander, you are getting cheated on.
- 50:23Speaker 1: I think about it. They loved like the excitement of
- 50:26Speaker 1: being somewhere new every day and checking out new scenery.
- 50:30Speaker 1: So maybe it's the same with their partner.
- 50:32Speaker 7: Okay, everywhere they go deffinitely, because they do like different
- 50:36Speaker 7: bids every month. They bid all right, So they did
- 50:38Speaker 7: as a group, or they did at the places that
- 50:42Speaker 7: they like to go overnight, and they have people at
- 50:45Speaker 7: these places that they.
- 50:47Speaker 2: See when they do it overnight.
- 50:50Speaker 3: But your wife is a flight attendant or was she
- 50:53Speaker 3: your ex wife?
- 50:54Speaker 6: Now?
- 50:54Speaker 9: Yes she was.
- 50:55Speaker 7: And then I caught her because I work out here,
- 50:58Speaker 7: so I knew all the school what's going on. And
- 51:01Speaker 7: I'm looking at like, okay, she's like to fly these
- 51:03Speaker 7: to his places very frequently, and she's flying with this
- 51:06Speaker 7: captain frequently.
- 51:09Speaker 9: Like what is going on here?
- 51:11Speaker 3: So you caught her with the captain?
- 51:13Speaker 2: Yes, got her with the captain.
- 51:15Speaker 3: Oh oh man, that's messed up.
- 51:22Speaker 9: Oh well, it is?
- 51:23Speaker 7: What it is, and I know how it is, and
- 51:25Speaker 7: I know all this group from behind the scenes. Sorry,
- 51:27Speaker 7: if you are married to a captain or to a
- 51:30Speaker 7: flat attendant, yes you are. You are getting cheated on
- 51:33Speaker 7: one percent.
- 51:35Speaker 8: Why do captains always talk like well, as you can see,
- 51:38Speaker 8: we're fing on thirty thousand, I'm going to steal your
- 51:40Speaker 8: girl open either way.
- 51:43Speaker 6: If you can look out to the right, you can
- 51:45Speaker 6: see the flight attendants cheating on their husbands. Are going
- 51:51Speaker 6: to be lad. Put your three tables up and we're
- 51:53Speaker 6: going to lay in approximately ten minutes. And I can't
- 51:55Speaker 6: wait to get it dirty Martine with the dirty girl.
- 51:57Speaker 6: I'll see.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Professions make the worst spouses right for how to Take
- 52:03Speaker 5: of the Day on the new mix one or two
- 52:05Speaker 5: point nine, and my dms and calls have blown up
- 52:08Speaker 5: about one profession that was mentioned, actually two two professions
- 52:13Speaker 5: that were mentioned in the same industry out of all
- 52:15Speaker 5: the calls, out of all the dms to NonStop and
- 52:19Speaker 5: what do you think they are?
- 52:20Speaker 3: Cannis.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gotta be pilots, gotta.
- 52:22Speaker 5: Be there, pilots and flight attendants. Wow, I'm getting so
- 52:26Speaker 5: many dms about how they cheat.
- 52:27Speaker 3: It makes me so sad. I'm like, no, way, I
- 52:30Speaker 3: just got one. I just got one from I won't
- 52:32Speaker 3: say your name. Actually she said, I'm a flight attendant
- 52:35Speaker 3: and I don't know any flight attendants that have cheated,
- 52:38Speaker 3: but pilots. Yes, that's all it's said. So I know
- 52:44Speaker 3: you had another one that another profession cannis.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Yeah, Adrian said, truck drivers.
- 52:48Speaker 3: Oh, as far as the worst professions are out of town.
- 52:51Speaker 1: The higher possibility of cheating.
- 52:52Speaker 3: They're gone all the time around, all right, worst worst
- 52:55Speaker 3: professions that make spouses worse professions you know that are
- 52:59Speaker 3: just hard to be married to and hard to be with.
- 53:01Speaker 3: And oh, okay, so I won't say your name, but
- 53:03Speaker 3: you want to talk about flight attendants and pilots because
- 53:05Speaker 3: you work. You work at the airport.
- 53:07Speaker 9: Yeah, I work Here's a DFW airport. I've been here
- 53:09Speaker 9: twenty four years.
- 53:10Speaker 12: And I've been married to a flight attendant. Oh, I
- 53:16Speaker 12: hope for to get I hope her to get.
- 53:18Speaker 7: A flight attendent job.
- 53:19Speaker 2: When I moved here with here at THEFW with my job. Yeah,
- 53:22Speaker 2: and then I see I.
- 53:24Speaker 9: Seen everything from back doors. What those people do are
- 53:28Speaker 9: the worst people do? What're the worst people? You just
- 53:32Speaker 9: cannot trust them? Those people you cannot trust.
- 53:35Speaker 3: So you're saying, you're saying flight attendants or pilots are
- 53:37Speaker 3: both both.
- 53:41Speaker 9: I'm seeing them both, you know.
- 53:43Speaker 7: And they always always go in a group, and they're
- 53:46Speaker 7: always checking out the hotel and they always get hotel
- 53:50Speaker 7: rooms individually, but they don't stay individually. Room, go to
- 53:56Speaker 7: your next room.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Oh, look at this ready for I'm sorry.
- 54:01Speaker 7: If anybody's married out there to a pilot or to
- 54:05Speaker 7: a flight sender, you are getting cheated on.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I think about it. They loved like the excitement of
- 54:14Speaker 1: being somewhere new every day and checking out new scenery.
- 54:17Speaker 1: So maybe it's the same with their partner.
- 54:19Speaker 7: Okay, everywhere they go deffinitely, because they do like different
- 54:23Speaker 7: bids every month. They bid all right, So they bid
- 54:25Speaker 7: as a group, or they did at the places that
- 54:29Speaker 7: they like to go overnight, and they have people at
- 54:33Speaker 7: these places that they see when they do it overnight.
- 54:38Speaker 3: But your wife is a flight attendant or was she
- 54:40Speaker 3: your ex wife? Now?
- 54:41Speaker 9: Yes, she was.
- 54:42Speaker 7: And then I caught her because I work out here,
- 54:45Speaker 7: so I knew all the school was going on. And
- 54:48Speaker 7: I'm looking at like, Okay, she's like to fly to
- 54:51Speaker 7: his places very frequently, and she's flying with this captain frequently?
- 54:55Speaker 9: What is going on here?
- 54:59Speaker 3: So you taught her with the captain?
- 55:01Speaker 2: You gotta love the captain.
- 55:02Speaker 3: Oh cliss, Oh man, that's messed up.
- 55:09Speaker 7: Oh well, it is what it is, and I know
- 55:11Speaker 7: how it is, and I know all this group from
- 55:13Speaker 7: behind the scenes.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 55:15Speaker 7: If you are married to a captain or to an attendant,
- 55:19Speaker 7: yes you are.
- 55:20Speaker 2: You are getting cheated on?
- 55:22Speaker 3: Why do captains always talk like that?
- 55:24Speaker 6: As you can see, we're going on thirty thousand, I'm
- 55:26Speaker 6: going to steal your girl either way. If you can
- 55:31Speaker 6: look out to the right, you can see the fine
- 55:33Speaker 6: attendants cheating on their husbands are going to be lad.
- 55:39Speaker 6: Put your tree tables up and we're going to land
- 55:40Speaker 6: in approach him in the ten minutes. And I can't
- 55:42Speaker 6: wait to get it dirty Martine with a dirty girl.
- 55:48Speaker 3: You're about to get out of here. It's bailing a kid.

- 56:09Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know, probably resting today. Yesterday was such
- 56:12Speaker 1: a long day work straight to the fair, after the fair,
- 56:14Speaker 1: straight to baseball practice, straight home to clean up, make lunch,
- 56:18Speaker 1: go to bed.
- 56:18Speaker 3: That's a long day.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I know we're gonna keep it chilled today. And
- 56:21Speaker 1: Soo's really into The Fast and the Furious, so he
- 56:23Speaker 1: likes to watch We haven't let him watch the full
- 56:25Speaker 1: movies yet, but he likes to watch the trailers. So
- 56:28Speaker 1: that's probably what we're doing when he gets home.
- 56:30Speaker 3: You let this kid watch trailers only?
- 56:32Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because he likes to see the action shots
- 56:34Speaker 1: of the cars. The cars like driving and stuff, and
- 56:37Speaker 1: that's always in the trailers.
- 56:39Speaker 3: Is it a bad movie?
- 56:40Speaker 1: I mean, no, Fast and Furious is it for seven
- 56:43Speaker 1: year olds? There's language, canudity, you gotta understand Cannas and pooh.
- 56:48Speaker 3: The parenting difference. Oh here is a little bit different.

- 56:59Speaker 3: I know she's by live.
- 57:00Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just kind of like, is he ready
- 57:02Speaker 1: for that?
- 57:05Speaker 3: I see, dads are so different. I let my here
- 57:09Speaker 3: we go. Yeah, I let them watch them all.
- 57:12Speaker 8: They love some violence and some of them I mean yeah,
- 57:14Speaker 8: yeah they fight, Yeah, they're fighting those movies.
- 57:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I just don't remember. I've only seen the first
- 57:18Speaker 1: one and like the seventh.
- 57:19Speaker 3: One, because I just think it's so funny that, you know,
- 57:23Speaker 3: because Pooh will watch, he'll let his kids watch a
- 57:25Speaker 3: rated our movie when they were four. I remember going
- 57:30Speaker 3: to a movie theater to see like one of those
- 57:31Speaker 3: scary movies Annabelle, and somebody had a toddler in there. Oh,
- 57:35Speaker 3: not even kidding you, toddler. Wow, And I thought to myself,
- 57:40Speaker 3: the toddler's into it. Whatever, Yeah, raising Chucky. Let me
- 57:43Speaker 3: really like, that's what they're doing. If it doesn't give
- 57:47Speaker 3: the kid nightmares, then I mean, is it a bad thing?
- 57:51Speaker 1: Yeah it is. I don't know. I'm asking the question.
- 57:54Speaker 1: But no, we haven't let him watch the full movies yet.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Okay, I mean it's fine. You know you got my
- 58:01Speaker 3: stamp of approval. Good, thank god. Yeah, we didn't know
- 58:07Speaker 3: you were married to Candys. It's okay, well, good, thank
- 58:12Speaker 3: you psychologist. Pooh, we appreciate your parental advice on parented advice.
- 58:18Speaker 3: What else do you want to let them watch? Don't
- 58:20Speaker 3: watch it?
- 58:20Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 58:22Speaker 3: Anything else? Pooh? What are you doing today?
- 58:25Speaker 7: Oh?
- 58:25Speaker 3: I know what I'm gonna do. I keep eying.
- 58:27Speaker 8: Uh those snacks I got, Candice, I'm about to go. No,
- 58:31Speaker 8: it's fine, I bought them for you. But I am
- 58:34Speaker 8: gonna go refill our snacks. Yeah, I'm gonna go to Traders,
- 58:39Speaker 8: Joe's and Sprouts. I couldn't find them. I went last time.
- 58:44Speaker 8: I couldn't find them because they're such losers.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Oh my god, what are you excited about?
- 58:50Speaker 3: Snacks? I'm gonna go to TB. Then I'm gonna training jobs.
- 58:53Speaker 3: Then I'm gonna go to this and I heard this
