Luna: Oh, that's so useful! I've always wanted to travel by train in India. Lucas: Right? So first, the most basic phrase: 'టిక్కెట్టు కావాలి'. That means 'I need a ticket'. Luna: టిక్కెట్టు కావాలి. Lucas: You got it! Now, if you want to ask for one ticket, say 'ఒక టికెట్ ఇవ్వండి' — 'give me one ticket'. Luna: ఒక టికెట్ ఇవ్వండి. Lucas: Perfect. And to ask 'how much?' you just say 'ఎంత?'. Luna: ఎంత? That's short and sweet. Lucas: Yeah! And if the ticket seller asks 'where to?', they'll say 'ఎక్కడికి?'. Luna: ఎక్కడికి? Lucas: So you can answer with a place name plus 'కు'. For example, 'హైదరాబాదుకు' — 'to Hyderabad'. Luna: హైదరాబాదుకు. Lucas: Great. Let's put it together. Imagine you're at the counter. You say: 'ఒక టికెట్ ఇవ్వండి. హైదరాబాదుకు. ఎంత?' Luna: One ticket to Hyderabad, how much? That's: 'ఒక టికెట్ ఇవ్వండి. హైదరాబాదుకు. ఎంత?' Lucas: You nailed it! Now, a little practice. I'll be the seller, you be the passenger. Luna: Okay. Lucas: ఎక్కడికి? Luna: హైదరాబాదుకు. Lucas: ఎన్ని టిక్కెట్లు? Luna: ఒక టికెట్ ఇవ్వండి. Lucas: 200 రూపాయలు. Luna: ఎంత? 200? అంతే. Lucas: There you go! You just bought a ticket.
