  [SPEAKER_00]: was to potentially trade Travis C.T.N., all off season everyone was talking about the Jaguar's potentially trading Travis C.T.N., I didn't think that made sense for a variety of reasons.

  [SPEAKER_00]: when he has confidence and a decent offensive line and all these things working for him, I thought that he made more sense for this Jaguar as team because he had more versatility in more home run speed.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Just made him a little bit more valuable to this team because he has more speed, more explosiveness, more bend and just big playability

  [SPEAKER_00]: Right, like coming out of Auburn, I was a big, big fan of his, that was a draft class where everybody was kind of like, why the heck are you taking Britain's strange and tank bigsby in the second, third round?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Trembalky, strange, strange team building, but two good players, two talented players.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They got say quam bark Lee, the guy who am I opinion should have been the MVP, but he can be a really good backup, a really good short yardage back,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Some of the really elite backs in the league kind of do make a lot of money, but outside of that you don't see these huge deals really, and you also...

  [SPEAKER_00]: don't usually see back drafted super-highly unless they're like, could be John Robbins in an Ashton, Jenty-level talent, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, running back is devalued and the Jack Wars had an opportunity here to get more draft capital for 2026, which is meaningful for a variety of reasons.

  [SPEAKER_00]: not necessarily just to utilize them, but to use them as capital for trades during the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's even more of an important piece, I think, for 2026 for the Jaguars because of the trade they made this year to acquire Travis Hunter, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was there at least effective back, five carries for 12 yards yesterday, but I don't think that he really looked and effective.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was just when he was in the game, I think they keyed in on the run a little bit more.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's not surprising, because again, as we talked about, I don't think that he has the same versatility in his skill set as a Travis C.T.N.

  [SPEAKER_00]: who, by the way, had 16 carries were 143 yards, 8.9 yards per carry yesterday for Travis C.T.N.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Then Travis ETN, when all this scuttle but was going on all offseason about Travis ETN potentially getting traded, I thought Tank Bigsby made more sense because of the skill set, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Because of the fumbling issues, because of the inability to be effective in past pro and as a past catcher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that when Tank Bigsby is in the game, the Jag war is lack that multi-dimensional threat.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And defenses can just key in on it because they know they don't want to throw the ball to tank bigs V defense is no they don't want tank bees being past protection So what do you do when tank bigs be on the field you're probably running the ball however We'll try to see TN is on the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then you have Lee Quint Allen, who is truly dynamite as a pass protector and a pass catcher out of the back field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He only had one carry yesterday for seven yards, but Lee Quint Allen had multiple pass pro reps where he did a good job.

  [SPEAKER_00]: where he made a guy miss and picked up a first down.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So this is the group they're moving forward with.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And this is not to say that Travis E. T. N is about to be some mainstay in Jacksonville.

  [SPEAKER_00]: My best guess would be that the jagged bars are not going to prioritize signing Travis E. T. N after the year because of having bashed two.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that those are two guys you can potentially just rely on as you're one to punch following the 2020 five season and you know when you go from ETN to Tutton.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that he has the potential to be better than Travis E.T.N.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I thought that they were a better team with him in the fold, and this is a team that's not like

  [SPEAKER_00]: In a situation where they are like in this rebuilding mode and they don't really need to have the best guys available right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: No, this is a team that wants to make the playoffs that wants to win their division right now in 2025 and let the chips fall where they may.

  [SPEAKER_00]: down the stretch that they want to be as good as they can be does losing tank bigs be really diminish the room all that much.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now that you've seen basal to an analy quint Allen and game action you've seen Travis E. T. and in this offense I don't think it does but it does set up next year next year's draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have a lot of ammunition now to potentially move back up into the first round if they want to, to have more higher value day two picks in the draft if they want to.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have a lot of versatility with some of the moves they have made, just trading with the Eagles.

  [SPEAKER_00]: For example, I think they now have fifth, sixth and seventh round picks from the Philadelphia Eagles next year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I just don't really think they're losing a whole lot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's no slight on tank who I do think adds something to an NFL offense as a runner.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But when you have the guys, the Jaguar has have.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think he was really bringing much outside of being able to key the defense in on what you're probably trying to do here on this down when he's on the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I thought that he showed throughout his Auburn career some ability as a past catcher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I thought he improved in terms of his ball security throughout his collegiate career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, those improvements did not manifest all that much in the NFL, and he couldn't pass protect either very well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Excited for him to potentially be that number two back behind St.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think Philly is really worried about what their opponents think they're doing because they're just that dominant up front on the offensive line and you know you have jalen hurts and sick one barcline the backfield together you have jalen hurts and then tink bakes me in the backfield together that that's a little bit of a nightmare to deal with.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You've seen that and you've seen that with the Rams, you know, where Gladstone comes from for a long time, their ability to hit on these later round picks and kind of not transcend the draft, but really do a better job than most teams.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So here is an update from my Garofolo that Eagles trade for tank bigs be as in part due to a need for another kick returner, sources say.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He will be in the mix for that role with Will Shipley, who had one return against the Cowboys who was dealing with a rib injury.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So tank as a returner can help the Eagles out potentially.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I personally don't think you're trading a fifth and a sixth round pick for a returner, specifically, if you can help you in that regard and also be a runner that you can rely on, I think, I think that that can help Philly, but happy trails to tank Biggsby, who I think was a good teammate, somebody who was fun to have around the locker room.
