- 0:01Speaker 1: Now or Presents No Mark Simon Shaw.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hey, it's Friday. We got a lot to get too.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Now they're gonna be it'll be cold today and then
- 0:15Speaker 2: a little warmer tomorrow. But Saturday night, the very first
- 0:18Speaker 2: snow of the year. It's not going to be much
- 0:20Speaker 2: and maybe just an inch or so, but you'll actually
- 0:22Speaker 2: see some snow when you wake up on Sunday morning,
- 0:25Speaker 2: just a little, just a little, and then it gets
- 0:28Speaker 2: warm again. So don't worry. It's not gonna be a
- 0:30Speaker 2: bad winter. We got lots of stuff to talk about. Now.
- 0:35Speaker 2: You got to remember, go easy on your crazy Democratic friends.
- 0:40Speaker 2: I know they sound crazy, they're so angry. What the
- 0:43Speaker 2: hell are they so angry about? But you got to
- 0:46Speaker 2: remember they're living in this little bubble, in this echo
- 0:49Speaker 2: chamber where they're just fed all kinds of stuff. And
- 0:53Speaker 2: now they watch CNN and MS whatever the hell it's
- 0:57Speaker 2: called now and New York Times, and they're not exposed.
- 1:02Speaker 2: They don't have access to a lot of information. They're
- 1:05Speaker 2: just spoon fed little bits and pieces of a story
- 1:08Speaker 2: to create a certain narrative. For instance, they'll tell you
- 1:12Speaker 2: right now that President Trump, if you're watching these shows
- 1:16Speaker 2: all day and all you know, is President Trump is very,
- 1:19Speaker 2: very sick. He has tremendous medical problems. He's falling asleep
- 1:23Speaker 2: every second, and his popularity is just sinking in the polls.
- 1:28Speaker 2: He is plungings. So they're running around thinking all of
- 1:32Speaker 2: this stuff, which is fine. Let him think whatever they
- 1:35Speaker 2: want to think. You know, they decide whatever they want
- 1:36Speaker 2: to decide, and that's it. They believe it. So the
- 1:40Speaker 2: fact of the matter is there's nothing wrong with him. Medically,
- 1:44Speaker 2: he's fine. He just had a very very very detailed
- 1:48Speaker 2: physical He's absolutely fine. You know, he's seventy eight, seventy
- 1:51Speaker 2: nine years old. You can always have little things. He's
- 1:53Speaker 2: got some swelling in his ankles, he's got something on
- 1:57Speaker 2: his hand. This is almost nothing. This is minor medical
- 2:01Speaker 2: stuff at the age of seventy nine. He's not falling asleep.
- 2:05Speaker 2: There are people around him all day and night. The
- 2:07Speaker 2: guy goes, you know, eighteen nineteen hours a day. Then
- 2:10Speaker 2: even when he's home, doesn't sleep. He's tweeting and texting
- 2:13Speaker 2: and doing all sorts of stuff, making phone calls all night.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I know, at one time at the cabinet meeting, looked
- 2:18Speaker 2: like he fell asleep. It looked like his eyes were closed,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and they show you those pictures of his eyes are closed. Well,
- 2:24Speaker 2: go back and watch the video. It was Marco Rubio
- 2:28Speaker 2: talking and Pete Hegsath talking. But watch his eyes are closed,
- 2:32Speaker 2: his head is down. But at one point Exit makes
- 2:36Speaker 2: a joke. Watch Trump, he reacts. You can see him
- 2:38Speaker 2: laugh at the joke, and you can see his face.
- 2:41Speaker 2: He's reacting to everything that's being said. So his eyes
- 2:43Speaker 2: are closed, but he's he's not asleep during the cabinet meeting.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Now with Joe Biden. You so I'm actually asleep at times.
- 2:50Speaker 2: So now the other thing I'll convinced you is he's
- 2:52Speaker 2: so far down in the polls on the economy, everything
- 2:55Speaker 2: that there's no chance in the midterms for Trump or
- 2:59Speaker 2: for the Republicans. They did this to Reagan, by the way,
- 3:04Speaker 2: Reagan's first term, they said, they kept broadcasting this, putting
- 3:08Speaker 2: this in the news every day. He's so fired down
- 3:10Speaker 2: in the polls, and they try to do everything they
- 3:13Speaker 2: could to hurt him. And in fact, believe it or not,
- 3:16Speaker 2: Reagan had a run for reelection, believe it or not,
- 3:19Speaker 2: as the year before the reelection, Reagan was trailing Mondale
- 3:24Speaker 2: in the polls and he was also trailing John Glenn
- 3:28Speaker 2: in the polls, so Reagan was in third.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Now.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Of course, the following year, Reagan won the biggest landslide ever.
- 3:35Speaker 2: He won forty nine states. It was the biggest landslide ever.
- 3:38Speaker 2: He could have won all fifty if he wanted to,
- 3:41Speaker 2: but he told campaign manager Ed Rollins give up Minnesota,
- 3:45Speaker 2: let Mondale win Minnesota because it didn't want to humiliate him.
- 3:49Speaker 2: So it was the biggest landslide ever, even though at
- 3:51Speaker 2: this point the polls were off. So don't pay any
- 3:53Speaker 2: attention to all these polls. It means absolutely nothing. Also,
- 3:58Speaker 2: the big beautiful bill that was past has not started yet.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It kicks in in January. And people are telling me that,
- 4:05Speaker 2: you know, when this bill kicks in in January, all
- 4:08Speaker 2: of a sudden, you're going to be getting tax cuts
- 4:10Speaker 2: and tax breaks. You're gonna be paying a lot less tax,
- 4:13Speaker 2: so you'll see more in your paycheck. But I'm being
- 4:15Speaker 2: told by people in DC that the Americans are going
- 4:19Speaker 2: to be startled by the change in their paychecks. It's
- 4:23Speaker 2: going to be big. You're going to see a big,
- 4:25Speaker 2: big change in paychecks starting in January. So everything will
- 4:29Speaker 2: start turning around then. Now, when it comes to the polls,
- 4:34Speaker 2: don't go by the one they're talking about today, the
- 4:37Speaker 2: AP poll. There's no organization more partisan, corrupt, slanted, biased
- 4:43Speaker 2: than AP. Don't trust them for a second. We'll have
- 4:46Speaker 2: the best polster in the world on the show later
- 4:49Speaker 2: we'll get the real numbers coming up. So and by
- 4:54Speaker 2: the way, when you look at the polling, President Trump
- 4:57Speaker 2: pulls very very well, very good poll numbers. If you
- 5:01Speaker 2: isolate issues and just do the economy, that pole is low.
- 5:05Speaker 2: But not Trump himself. They forget to tell you that part.
- 5:08Speaker 2: But they just make up a whole scenario for their audience.
- 5:11Speaker 2: They drilling in their heads all they're all coordinated NBC, ABC, CBS,
- 5:16Speaker 2: New York Times, CNN, MS, whatever the hell it is,
- 5:19Speaker 2: and they just keep pushing that narrative and all your
- 5:22Speaker 2: Democratic friends run around thinking this. I'll give you a
- 5:25Speaker 2: good example. The oil tankers. They never ever tell anybody
- 5:30Speaker 2: in the audience what the deal is with the oil tankers.
- 5:33Speaker 2: All they show is the video of the Navy seals
- 5:36Speaker 2: repelling down from the helicopter seizing an oil What the
- 5:39Speaker 2: hell they're just seizing an oil tanker from another country?
- 5:43Speaker 2: Why would they do such as they never tell the
- 5:45Speaker 2: audience anything. It's an illegal tanker. There's a warrant out
- 5:49Speaker 2: for that tanker. It has been used to ship Iranian oil,
- 5:53Speaker 2: violating all the sanctions, but they never tell you that.
- 5:56Speaker 2: If you're watching Rachel Maddow, you know all these fake news.
- 6:01Speaker 2: They try to look very serious. They put it out
- 6:03Speaker 2: of a background that looks like it's some sort of
- 6:05Speaker 2: news show, and she's got glasses and she looks very professorial,
- 6:09Speaker 2: but she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about,
- 6:12Speaker 2: and she's never telling you the actual story.
- 6:15Speaker 4: For instance, Trump really doesn't seem to have any idea
- 6:18Speaker 4: why he's going to war in Venezuela, nor does he
- 6:21Speaker 4: seem to be in charge of any of the decisions
- 6:23Speaker 4: that are leading us to this war. And so we
- 6:25Speaker 4: also have to worry about who's actually running the government
- 6:28Speaker 4: right now and who is actually driving us toward this
- 6:30Speaker 4: regime change war that the President doesn't seem to be
- 6:34Speaker 4: at the helm of. We don't know who is, and
- 6:36Speaker 4: we don't know why.
- 6:38Speaker 2: So if you're the viewer, you think, wow, he's just nuts.
- 6:41Speaker 2: He just sees the tanker. He doesn't know why. As
- 6:44Speaker 2: she said, he doesn't even know why. He doesn't know why.
- 6:46Speaker 2: He just I don't know where he decided to seize tanker. Oh,
- 6:49Speaker 2: none of this is true again, that there was a
- 6:51Speaker 2: warrant out for that tanker had been violating sanctions. Tankers
- 6:55Speaker 2: are sees. It's a normal thing. We've been doing it
- 6:58Speaker 2: for years if you violate the san Biden got very
- 7:01Speaker 2: sloppy about it and stopped. But we do seize tankers.
- 7:04Speaker 2: It's perfectly normal. It wasn't out of the ordinary. Here's
- 7:06Speaker 2: the government guy who's the expert in this.
- 7:09Speaker 5: The US doesn't bluff when it comes to sanctions enforcement.
- 7:12Speaker 5: This wasn't just a tanker seizure. It was a warning
- 7:15Speaker 5: shot to every single dictator who thinks they can outsmart
- 7:19Speaker 5: US law enforcement. And we've got to let President Trump
- 7:21Speaker 5: ramp up the heat on Maduro, who is charged with
- 7:24Speaker 5: flooding our streets with fentanyl and killing our fellow Americans.
- 7:27Speaker 5: So this was lawful enforcement action. It was executed under
- 7:31Speaker 5: a federal seizure warrant against a vessel that's been involved
- 7:35Speaker 5: in transporting sanctioned oil for years, and the US has
- 7:38Speaker 5: the authority to do it. And we need to continue
- 7:40Speaker 5: to send a clear message to Maduro. That the US
- 7:43Speaker 5: is going to uphold sanctions and deny his illicit networks.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yeah, now, Rachel Maddow never told the audience that there
- 7:49Speaker 2: was a warrant out on that tanker. It had been
- 7:50Speaker 2: violating sanctions repeatedly transporting Iranian oil, transporting into places that
- 7:56Speaker 2: are sanctioned, like China and other stuff. Here's the White
- 7:59Speaker 2: House spokesman.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Resident is committed to stopping the illegal flow of drugs
- 8:02Speaker 5: into our country. He's also fully committed to effectuating this
- 8:06Speaker 5: administration's sanctioned policy.
- 8:08Speaker 6: And that's what you saw and the world saw take
- 8:10Speaker 6: place yesterday.
- 8:11Speaker 2: They're enforcing the actual sanctions on these tankers. The other
- 8:15Speaker 2: thing is they want to bankrupt of Venezuela. They want
- 8:18Speaker 2: to stop the drug traffic. Stop the drug traffic stop,
- 8:23Speaker 2: you know, close the border so it's not coming over
- 8:25Speaker 2: the border anymore. That's why the drug cartels moved to
- 8:28Speaker 2: transporting it by water by sea. So they're going to
- 8:31Speaker 2: stop that now and they're going to eventually shut it down.
- 8:34Speaker 2: And once you stop the flow of this oil, this
- 8:36Speaker 2: illegal oil, this is how Venezuela's a terrible leader makes
- 8:41Speaker 2: his money illegally transporting sanctioned oil to sanctioned places and
- 8:47Speaker 2: all this drug stuff. So once you shut that down,
- 8:50Speaker 2: he's going to go broke and run out of money.
- 8:52Speaker 2: So when Trump says, this guy's going to be gone,
- 8:54Speaker 2: well that's why. Here's Kat McFarlane.
- 8:56Speaker 7: Venezuela. It pretty soon runs out of money. I mean
- 8:59Speaker 7: really soon runs out of money. And that's the money
- 9:01Speaker 7: that Madua used to pay the military, to pay off
- 9:03Speaker 7: all the bad guys to keep himself in power. So
- 9:06Speaker 7: that's why when Trump says, oh, I think Maduro's days
- 9:09Speaker 7: are numbered, I think he's counting off the days in
- 9:12Speaker 7: tell mandual runs out of money.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's millions and millions a day. These are illegal shipments. Now,
- 9:17Speaker 2: we do seize tankers. We've been every administration does it.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Here's here's the Navy seal.
- 9:22Speaker 8: We've been sanctioning tankers out of Venezuela and many other
- 9:25Speaker 8: countries for years, and seizing oil tankers is actually not
- 9:29Speaker 8: uncommon for us to do. In twenty fourteen, in my
- 9:31Speaker 8: old community, the seals parachuted in the season oil tanker
- 9:34Speaker 8: in the morning Glory and the Mediterranean, which is also
- 9:37Speaker 8: smuggling illicit oil. Because many of these rogue regimes and
- 9:39Speaker 8: terrorist organizations use sometimes unflagg vessels or wrongly flagged vessels
- 9:45Speaker 8: to move oil around to fund that there are illicit operations,
- 9:48Speaker 8: or use those tankers to smuggle other subsces like drug
- 9:51Speaker 8: or weapons.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Twenty fourteen. Who is president deed? Oh yeah, Obama seizing
- 9:57Speaker 2: oil tankers. Well, it's okay when he does it, but
- 10:01Speaker 2: he does it. It's different now. Again, we always do this,
- 10:05Speaker 2: We always support illegal criminals. But everything changed with the
- 10:10Speaker 2: Biden years where they decided to just throw the border
- 10:12Speaker 2: wide open, do absolutely nothing. They also decided they would
- 10:16Speaker 2: not enforce any sanctions anywhere, so they got used to
- 10:21Speaker 2: that craziness and now they're stunned. President Trump will continue
- 10:25Speaker 2: to blow up narco terrorists, boats, seize illegal tankers and
- 10:29Speaker 2: all that stuff. And he's going to stop the drugs
- 10:31Speaker 2: no matter what you have to do.
- 10:33Speaker 9: Drug traffic by sea is down ninety two and nobody
- 10:37Speaker 9: can figure out who the eight percent is because I.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Have no idea. Anybody getting involved in that right now
- 10:43Speaker 2: is not doing well. And we'll start that on land too.
- 10:45Speaker 2: It's going to be sorting on land pretty soon. Here
- 10:47Speaker 2: you go. But if you're fake news, if you're MS
- 10:53Speaker 2: whatever they call them, viewer, you're just a bobblehead nodding
- 10:57Speaker 2: when they tell you the president has no idea why.
- 11:00Speaker 2: He doesn't even know why. He didn't mean there's no
- 11:03Speaker 2: reason to seas he takes.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Really doesn't seem to have any idea why he's going
- 11:07Speaker 4: to war in Venezuela, nor does he seem to be
- 11:09Speaker 4: in charge of any of the decisions that are leading
- 11:12Speaker 4: us to this war, and so we also have to worry.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Of course, this is just nonsense. He has no idea
- 11:18Speaker 2: why he's doing this. What the hell does she know
- 11:20Speaker 2: about what he knows? There has nothing to do with him.
- 11:23Speaker 2: You know how they always say President Trump said without evidence.
- 11:26Speaker 2: He said, well, she has no evidence, none to back
- 11:30Speaker 2: up anything she's saying. Hey, it's just about the end
- 11:33Speaker 2: of the year. They've looked back on the first year
- 11:36Speaker 2: of Trump. Two point five million illegals deported, two point
- 11:41Speaker 2: five million illegals deported, one point nine million. That's almost
- 11:46Speaker 2: two million self deported. Self deported because they saw the
- 11:50Speaker 2: ice rays, they saw what was going to happen, so
- 11:52Speaker 2: they supported themselves. But that's one point nine million self deported.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Holman and his team got six one hundred thousand illegals
- 12:01Speaker 2: out in the first year, so a two point five million.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Trump's only got four years, but that would bring him
- 12:08Speaker 2: to ten million that he'll get out by then. So
- 12:11Speaker 2: he's enforcing a lot of things that the Biden administration
- 12:15Speaker 2: wouldn't enforce. When it came to law and order, the
- 12:17Speaker 2: Biden administration decided they're not going to enforce anything. You know,
- 12:21Speaker 2: there's a rule a law. Now, if you're a truck
- 12:24Speaker 2: driver driving one of those big, huge trucks out there
- 12:27Speaker 2: on the highway, the law is you have to speak English.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You have to be tested for English. Well, obviously it's
- 12:34Speaker 2: a federal law because if you don't speak English, you
- 12:38Speaker 2: won't be able to understand the traffic signs, you won't
- 12:40Speaker 2: be able to even talk to a cop if he
- 12:43Speaker 2: stops you, you won't be able to fill out a report. Correctly,
- 12:46Speaker 2: that's the law. You have to be able to speak English. Now,
- 12:52Speaker 2: the Obama administration tried to loosen up that law a little,
- 12:56Speaker 2: but President Trump has put it back into effect. You've
- 12:59Speaker 2: got this speak English to drive one of those big,
- 13:02Speaker 2: huge trucks. You got to be able to read the signs,
- 13:04Speaker 2: all of that stuff, and a lot of proponents who
- 13:08Speaker 2: are pushing for this crackdown included family members of accident
- 13:12Speaker 2: victims who had been killed by those trucks because they
- 13:14Speaker 2: couldn't speak English, couldn't read the signs. So there's been
- 13:18Speaker 2: a crackdown and recently ten thousand drivers have lost their
- 13:24Speaker 2: US driving privileges, taken off the road because they couldn't
- 13:28Speaker 2: pass an English test. Crackdown by the Trump administration. Now
- 13:33Speaker 2: you're going to you'll see this probably Monday on Rachel Madda.
- 13:36Speaker 2: How horrible this look what they're doing to these poor
- 13:38Speaker 2: illegals who broke him. A assassin of Charlie Kirk. First
- 13:43Speaker 2: day in court yesterday, very very very creepy, laughing, joking
- 13:53Speaker 2: around with his attorneys. You know, you're in court for
- 13:55Speaker 2: being an assassin for murder. They got you, They got
- 13:58Speaker 2: all the evidence. Laughing and joking. Ess. Sometimes sometimes these
- 14:04Speaker 2: guys are a little drugged up. They did that with Oj.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Remember in his trial. He didn't quite look right. They
- 14:11Speaker 2: drugged him up because Oj was quite a temperamental guy
- 14:14Speaker 2: with a big temper, and they wanted him calm in court,
- 14:17Speaker 2: so they gave him some drugs to really really really
- 14:19Speaker 2: calm them down so they might have done that with
- 14:22Speaker 2: this kid. He's only twenty two, so he might have
- 14:24Speaker 2: been on something to keep him very calm, But there
- 14:26Speaker 2: he was laughing and smiling. The judge look like looks
- 14:31Speaker 2: like he was going to allow I guess he's going
- 14:33Speaker 2: to allow cameras in the court. The trial will be televised.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I don't know what the point of that is. This
- 14:38Speaker 2: guy's clearly guilty. You got all the evidence, you got
- 14:41Speaker 2: everything you need. Just convict the guy, lock him up,
- 14:43Speaker 2: give him the electric chair. I think they have capital
- 14:46Speaker 2: punishment in that state. But they're doing pretty well. Actually,
- 14:51Speaker 2: he's got these what do you call those free lawyers,
- 14:55Speaker 2: those court appointed public defenders, But they're doing pretty well.
- 15:00Speaker 2: They won the right to have him in civilian clothes
- 15:03Speaker 2: in court. Normally you put a suit and tie on.
- 15:07Speaker 2: In this case it was just a button down shirt.
- 15:09Speaker 2: But he is shackled to protect people in the courtroom.
- 15:14Speaker 2: The judge is ordered the cameras cannot show the shackles
- 15:17Speaker 2: on him. Hey, if you can allow cameras, allow cameras.
- 15:20Speaker 2: But and apparently one camera caught up just a glimpse
- 15:24Speaker 2: of the shackles, and the judge went nuts, threatening to
- 15:26Speaker 2: throw all the cameras out, but you got to remember
- 15:30Speaker 2: the jury. We'll see the shackles and realize this guy's
- 15:33Speaker 2: very dangerous. He looks nuts, Luigi Mangione completely nuts, looks
- 15:37Speaker 2: like a just totally crazy. But it looks like you'll
- 15:41Speaker 2: get to see this trial. I don't know. You know,
- 15:45Speaker 2: these democrats go crazy. Luigi Mangiona has fan clubs, he
- 15:49Speaker 2: has groupies, he has fans cheering them as he comes
- 15:51Speaker 2: in and out of the court. You may see the
- 15:53Speaker 2: same thing for this lunatic Tyler Robinson in court as well.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Fay Frank Sinatra's hundred tenth birthday today be one hundred
- 16:01Speaker 2: and ten today born December. What's the day today? I
- 16:07Speaker 2: forgot his birthday? December twelfth. December twelfth, Yeah, December twelfth, Hoboken,
- 16:13Speaker 2: New Jersey, of course. And they're having that birthday party
- 16:17Speaker 2: at Patsy's. It's all sold out. You can't there's no
- 16:21Speaker 2: more tickets to it. But you can be able to
- 16:23Speaker 2: get the podcast. Just go online and just type Brank Sinatra.
- 16:26Speaker 2: You'll find the podcast of it. Not everybody's leaving Manhattan.
- 16:32Speaker 2: You might know somebody who's leaving because of mom Donnie,
- 16:35Speaker 2: but apartment sales are very very strong, and rents. People
- 16:40Speaker 2: are renting apartments here like crazy. In fact, right now
- 16:43Speaker 2: you can't rent an apartment. They've hit record highs, record highs.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Apartments are going. You know what the average rent now
- 16:50Speaker 2: is in New York fifty six hundred a month. Fifty
- 16:54Speaker 2: six hundred a month average rent. But that's because people
- 16:56Speaker 2: are renting them like crazy. How do you do something,
- 16:59Speaker 2: how do you create affordabuilding? Well, if your mom, Donnie,
- 17:03Speaker 2: if you can actually get a lot of people to leave,
- 17:04Speaker 2: that will bring down the rents. But hey, by the way, mom,
- 17:07Speaker 2: Donnie is announced he's putting tariffs on businesses. You know
- 17:09Speaker 2: these Democrats claim they hate tariffs. He's announced he wants
- 17:13Speaker 2: to put tariffs on business He calls him corporate tax increases,
- 17:18Speaker 2: but it'd be a corporate tax increase, the same thing
- 17:19Speaker 2: as a tariff. It is a tariff. So he wants
- 17:22Speaker 2: to tariff uh, New York City businesses. Hey, we'll take
- 17:25Speaker 2: some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 17:29Speaker 2: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 17:33Speaker 2: seven ten.
- 17:34Speaker 10: Get instant access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 17:38Speaker 10: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on wor.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Hey you Dixon calls eight hundred three two one zero
- 17:50Speaker 2: seven ten. Is the number eight hundred three two one
- 17:54Speaker 2: zero seven ten. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 17:57Speaker 2: how you.
- 17:57Speaker 11: Doing, Good morning, Mark birthday to the Chairman of the board.
- 18:03Speaker 2: To one hundred and ten today, one hundred and ten.
- 18:06Speaker 11: One hundred and ten years young. You know you mentioned
- 18:10Speaker 11: Jackie Vernon recently and it was it rang a bell
- 18:14Speaker 11: because I remember he used to do this bit, you know,
- 18:16Speaker 11: with he'd have the clicker. Here I am on my
- 18:17Speaker 11: summer vacation.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Yeah, for those who are Jackie Vernon was a comedian
- 18:21Speaker 2: back in the sixties, very popular and he was a
- 18:24Speaker 2: very boring guy. That was his act that he was
- 18:26Speaker 2: the most boring quiet and he'd say hello exactly, hello friends,
- 18:31Speaker 2: and he would do like a slideshow with a clicker
- 18:33Speaker 2: and he goes, right, this is meal. But he was
- 18:36Speaker 2: a very boring guy. Now, this thing came out the
- 18:38Speaker 2: other day that he had like twelve families, nine thousand women.
- 18:42Speaker 11: He was a carrouser. But I saw, you know, he
- 18:45Speaker 11: was on Sullivan and Sullivan. People may forget he had
- 18:49Speaker 11: the greatest comedians week after week on from you know,
- 18:53Speaker 11: the ordinary Jackie Vernons, but he knows Myron Cohen and
- 18:58Speaker 11: Alan King and Joan and John Byner and Sandy Barren
- 19:02Speaker 11: and two guys like London Lee and Stanley Meyron Handleman.
- 19:05Speaker 2: You know, there I go past. But also, like he
- 19:08Speaker 2: did with rock and roll, he was quite cutting edge.
- 19:11Speaker 2: He would have a young Richard Pryor on and all
- 19:13Speaker 2: those guys were on site.
- 19:14Speaker 11: Exactly before Carson became the place for comedians to get
- 19:18Speaker 11: make their name, Sullivan was light years ahead.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah. No, it was quite a show. It was done
- 19:24Speaker 2: right over there at what's now unfortunately the Stephen Colbert Theater,
- 19:29Speaker 2: but that was the Ed Sullivan Theater for years.
- 19:31Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 19:31Speaker 2: And when you went on there, forty to fifty million
- 19:33Speaker 2: think about this, forty or fifty million people would be watching.
- 19:36Speaker 11: It was unbelievable.
- 19:38Speaker 12: And like the Carson desk, if he called you over,
- 19:41Speaker 12: you know.
- 19:41Speaker 11: And shook your hand, that was you know. The next
- 19:43Speaker 11: day you were headlining in Vegas.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was quite a show. Everybody used to
- 19:48Speaker 2: tell me about doing that. George Carlin had a whole routine.
- 19:52Speaker 2: You went to the deli next door. You got like
- 19:54Speaker 2: a six pack of beer. You took it there because
- 19:56Speaker 2: you'd be there the whole day. You'd do a dress rehearsal,
- 19:58Speaker 2: then you'd do a dresser so for the audience, then
- 20:01Speaker 2: you take a break, then you come back and do
- 20:03Speaker 2: the show. So you do like three times in one day. Well, Mike,
- 20:07Speaker 2: as always, thanks for calling. Let's go to Steve and Bedsty. Steve,
- 20:11Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 20:13Speaker 13: Happy and healthy? Mark? I had a suggestion days, it'll
- 20:17Speaker 13: be a year since we lost Dibrina Kouwam on the
- 20:22Speaker 13: f line. Are you familiar with these still?
- 20:25Speaker 2: Who are you talking about?
- 20:27Speaker 13: Dabrina Kuwam, the woman who was burned alive by the
- 20:31Speaker 13: Guatemala and the legal immigrant.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Yeah, she was. It was a woman who and illegal
- 20:37Speaker 2: was here a nut and set her on fire right
- 20:39Speaker 2: on the subway platform there. So it's one year.
- 20:44Speaker 13: Are you familiar with that station?
- 20:46Speaker 2: Which station is it?
- 20:48Speaker 13: Still will Avenue Terminal? Do you know the station? You've
- 20:50Speaker 13: been there?
- 20:51Speaker 2: No, it's in Brooklyn, right by Nathan's. I've never been
- 20:57Speaker 2: on the subway outside of Manhattan.
- 20:58Speaker 13: I only take it to Manhattan, one hundred feet away
- 21:03Speaker 13: from where she was killed, right in the center of
- 21:07Speaker 13: the dome. On the overpass is an open space twelve
- 21:11Speaker 13: x thirty six that would make a perfect place for
- 21:14Speaker 13: a stage so that they can play music under that dome.
- 21:19Speaker 2: It was a terrible, terrible situation. I think you're getting
- 21:22Speaker 2: a little carried away with this. It's a terrible, terrible situation.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Instead of worrying about that, let's worry about doing something
- 21:29Speaker 2: to patrol these subways. We need more protection there, although
- 21:33Speaker 2: it's gotten better. We need Curtis, the Guardian Angels, we
- 21:36Speaker 2: need the police, we need everything there. Wait, I take
- 21:40Speaker 2: that back. I did take the subway once to the
- 21:41Speaker 2: Barclay Center once, but otherwise just Manhattan. Let's go to
- 21:47Speaker 2: lou and Queens Lou.
- 21:48Speaker 14: How you doing, hey, Mark, I want to comment on Venezuela.
- 21:52Speaker 14: You were absolutely right. I want to bring up something.
- 21:55Speaker 14: They gave no coverage to the great escape of Maria Machado,
- 22:01Speaker 14: who of course was elected first to become the president
- 22:05Speaker 14: of Venezuela. It wasn't to happen. She now had you know,
- 22:09Speaker 14: was escaping to receive the Nobel Prize winner for being
- 22:13Speaker 14: the opposition leader there. Why didn't she get any coverage?
- 22:16Speaker 14: It's unbelievable.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Well, do the math. She's a big Trump supporter. She
- 22:20Speaker 2: shared her Nobel prize with Donald Trump. She likes Trump.
- 22:23Speaker 2: She's the good of Venezuelan leader, the one currently there.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Maduro is the crooked, corrupt. So guess guess who the
- 22:31Speaker 2: fake news is defending. Guess which one they're promoting.
- 22:35Speaker 14: It's sick.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Maduro is supporting Iranian oil, he's supporting the drug cartel.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Guess which one NBC likes, The one who wants to
- 22:47Speaker 2: clean up Venezuela, the woman who likes Trump. Now they're
- 22:51Speaker 2: not supporting her. There behind Maduro, the one with the
- 22:54Speaker 2: drug cartels, the narco terrorist boats, the illegal tankers shipping
- 22:59Speaker 2: Iranian oil to China, Cuba. That's the one their backing.
- 23:04Speaker 2: That's the way they are. So you gotta remember it's
- 23:09Speaker 2: all emotion Democrats. It's very childish. They just get emotional.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Ever they hate, they go crazy, and it's always double standard.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Whatever they go after Trump for doing, you find out
- 23:20Speaker 2: Biden did it four thousand times, Obama did it nine
- 23:22Speaker 2: thousand times. It doesn't matter to them. Hey, you remember
- 23:26Speaker 2: when remember they dropped some illegals in Martha's vineyard. It
- 23:30Speaker 2: was DeSantis. Remember he sent a planeloading. Just dropped these
- 23:33Speaker 2: illegals one morning, all these illegal aliens Martha's vineyard. What
- 23:38Speaker 2: are the Democrats there do? They called the National Guard,
- 23:41Speaker 2: had them deported immediately, no due process at all, just
- 23:44Speaker 2: had them deported. Adam sent the hell out of there. Hey,
- 23:47Speaker 2: when we come back, Howie Carr will be with us.
- 23:49Speaker 2: We'll talk to him next on seven to ten W. R.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Houster, New York, Mark Simone.
- 23:58Speaker 12: R.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Hoby Carr the best tashow hosts in the world. You
- 24:02Speaker 2: can hear him on iHeart. You can go to his
- 24:04Speaker 2: website Howiecarshow dot com. He's also a best selling author.
- 24:08Speaker 2: You'll love his books, the latest one, Mass Corruption and
- 24:11Speaker 2: by the Way you want to do your Christmas shopping?
- 24:13Speaker 2: Books are a great gift. Go to Howie Carr Show
- 24:16Speaker 2: dot com, Howie car How You doing very good?
- 24:20Speaker 10: And you can also get it on Amazon dot com
- 24:22Speaker 10: to market. We got it all straightened out with Amazon.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Yeah, what's what's good? What's the deal with Amazon's that's
- 24:28Speaker 2: tough to deal with sometimes.
- 24:31Speaker 10: This was the first time that ever it seemed like
- 24:34Speaker 10: they wanted to actually print the book. So they're they're
- 24:38Speaker 10: printing their their books of their selling.
- 24:41Speaker 3: And I have my own books.
- 24:42Speaker 10: It's the same it's the same book, but it's it's
- 24:46Speaker 10: I almost feel like, you know, uh, I'm getting John d.
- 24:49Speaker 10: Rockefeller here with standard oil. You know, they want they
- 24:54Speaker 10: want vertical integration of the product. But that's okay. I'm
- 24:57Speaker 10: selling a lot of books. I'm doing fine. So it's okay,
- 25:00Speaker 10: it's okay. I'm fine with Amazon.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, Jasmine Crockett. You know, all these these democrats,
- 25:08Speaker 2: one is dumber than the other. They act so dumb,
- 25:10Speaker 2: they say these dumb things. Now she's actually highly educated,
- 25:13Speaker 2: but she's acting very dumb. Is that is this what
- 25:15Speaker 2: you got to do now to be a popular democrat?
- 25:17Speaker 2: Act really dopey?
- 25:19Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 25:20Speaker 10: I mean, I'm I'm watching all these democrats eating each
- 25:24Speaker 10: other alive, you know. I mean she forced out all Red.
- 25:27Speaker 10: I mean, you know, he was pretty weak, but at
- 25:29Speaker 10: least he had some experience, you know, as a you know,
- 25:33Speaker 10: he was a former Cowboys football player, you know, so
- 25:37Speaker 10: I mean he had some.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Experience in the real world.
- 25:40Speaker 10: I mean, and now this crazy woman is there, you know,
- 25:43Speaker 10: now you got you know Dan Goldman, I mean, wasn't
- 25:46Speaker 10: he terror isn't he terrible? Enough as a congressman for
- 25:49Speaker 10: New York. But you know, now you got what's his name,
- 25:52Speaker 10: louder is running. The only thing is that he got
- 25:56Speaker 10: arrested trying to you know, interfere with an ice off.
- 26:00Speaker 10: That's his only qualification to run against Goldman. And you
- 26:04Speaker 10: know you got the crazy guy in Maine who claims
- 26:06Speaker 10: he's working class even though he went to the hotch
- 26:09Speaker 10: Kiss School in Connecticut. He promotes himself as working class
- 26:13Speaker 10: against Janet Mills. It's like these Democrats are starting to
- 26:16Speaker 10: you know, really pear each other apart in these upcoming primaries,
- 26:21Speaker 10: isn't it.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Yeah, So it's so crazy to the left. They're all lunatics.
- 26:25Speaker 2: They're on. Is somebody going to come along, like a
- 26:27Speaker 2: Bill Clinton, a moderate rise up before twenty twenty eight
- 26:32Speaker 2: and like lead them back to the middle. Is that
- 26:34Speaker 2: going to happen? You know?
- 26:35Speaker 10: You know in the baseball in the baseball teams always
- 26:38Speaker 10: see if we got anybody coming up in the farm system.
- 26:40Speaker 10: I think, you know, the Democrats, I don't see any
- 26:43Speaker 10: Bill Clinton's in the farm system, do you.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Josh Shapiro maybe.
- 26:49Speaker 10: Maybe, But you know he's got the same problem he
- 26:52Speaker 10: had in twenty twenty four. They don't like him because
- 26:55Speaker 10: he's Jewish. Yeah, I mean, isn't that what it boils
- 26:58Speaker 10: down to?
- 26:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you got the fetterman's pretty normal, but uh, you
- 27:03Speaker 2: have to keep your eyes.
- 27:04Speaker 3: I don't know, I.
- 27:08Speaker 10: Mean, it's still it's still I mean, I I agree
- 27:11Speaker 10: with what you said, and I you know, he has
- 27:13Speaker 10: a higher approval rating among Pennsylvania Republicans the Democrats. But
- 27:18Speaker 10: you know, there is there are these lingering health issues,
- 27:20Speaker 10: you know, don't don't you have to wonder about him?
- 27:23Speaker 10: I mean even if he you know, even if he
- 27:25Speaker 10: did finally decide to you know, put on a pair
- 27:27Speaker 10: of long pants and a tie and all that kind of.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Stuff, you know, I mean, you'd still have to worry
- 27:31Speaker 3: about his health.
- 27:32Speaker 10: I don't, I don't know, I don't. I don't see
- 27:34Speaker 10: anybody out there that that that is that it's normal
- 27:38Speaker 10: to run. And you know, you got this guy Wes
- 27:41Speaker 10: Moore in Maryland. He's got all these you know, he's
- 27:45Speaker 10: he's got a lot of resume problems, you know, danang
- 27:47Speaker 10: Dick resume problems, you know, bronze stars that weren't issued
- 27:54Speaker 10: and uh, you know, working at Deutsche Bank, which he
- 27:56Speaker 10: apparently wasn't working at I don't under stand all these
- 28:00Speaker 10: people that want to come.
- 28:01Speaker 3: I'll give you another example.
- 28:02Speaker 10: That guy Trone in Maryland, the guy who ran for
- 28:06Speaker 10: the Senate, the guy he started Total Wine. So I
- 28:08Speaker 10: mean there's a guy that I mean, he's an uber
- 28:11Speaker 10: successful businessman. So he los, he gives up his seat
- 28:14Speaker 10: in Congress to unsuccessfully run for the Senate, loses, and
- 28:18Speaker 10: then now he wants to come back and run for
- 28:20Speaker 10: Congress against the rich woman who took his place in
- 28:25Speaker 10: his old congressional district.
- 28:27Speaker 3: You know.
- 28:27Speaker 10: So it's going to be great for TV ads and
- 28:29Speaker 10: you know in the DC.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Maryland, Baltimore area.
- 28:34Speaker 10: But I mean, why does a guy that's worth all
- 28:37Speaker 10: that money like Drone want to come back to be
- 28:39Speaker 10: one of four hundred and thirty five congressman.
- 28:41Speaker 3: I don't get it, do you no?
- 28:43Speaker 2: What is it? Well? You know they always said to
- 28:45Speaker 2: politics is show business for ugly people. Everybody wants to
- 28:50Speaker 2: do something. You know, if you're not so hot, you
- 28:53Speaker 2: going to Congress. If you've got a personality, you pay
- 28:55Speaker 2: to do a fake podcast. Everybody wants to be a star.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Nobody wants to just be in real life, private life anymore.
- 29:03Speaker 3: I mean, if I own total wine marks, that would
- 29:06Speaker 3: be enough for me.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Hey you're in Are you in Palm Beach? Now?
- 29:11Speaker 3: Yes, I am.
- 29:12Speaker 2: What happens there at Christmas time it's a whole different
- 29:14Speaker 2: place Christmas time, right, Well, there aren'tny riots in the street,
- 29:18Speaker 2: unlike Dan Tucker. You saw that on the front page
- 29:20Speaker 2: and you're uposed today. Yeah, there will be. There will
- 29:23Speaker 2: be no violence anywhere. No, it's it's it's it's kind
- 29:26Speaker 2: of interesting. And I've known this going back to you know,
- 29:29Speaker 2: the nineties when I was covering the one of the
- 29:32Speaker 2: Kennedy rape trials in West Palm.
- 29:35Speaker 10: We were staying in Palm Beach. But you know, like
- 29:37Speaker 10: all the lights in Palm Beach, the Christmas lights, you're
- 29:41Speaker 10: all white, you know, And you know, I don't know.
- 29:46Speaker 10: I like color color lights, you know, and I like
- 29:50Speaker 10: flashing color lights.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:52Speaker 10: So you know we used to we on nights when
- 29:54Speaker 10: there's nothing MUD's going on the trial, all of us
- 29:56Speaker 10: reporters would drive over to West Palm and just see
- 29:59Speaker 10: all the lashing lights.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I still do it.
- 30:01Speaker 10: I you know, I have my my studio now is
- 30:03Speaker 10: in uh is it West Palm at the iHeart Complex.
- 30:07Speaker 10: And I so like going going and seeing all the
- 30:10Speaker 10: colorful lights West Palm It's going way upscale fast, especially
- 30:15Speaker 10: with Mamdani coming in as mayor. But it's still it's
- 30:18Speaker 10: still like America, you know, as opposed to which you know,
- 30:22Speaker 10: I think I think probably colored colored Christmas lights probably
- 30:28Speaker 10: violate some kind of zoning uh ordnance in the town
- 30:31Speaker 10: up Palm Beach.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yeh Hey, you know, the big big real estate guys
- 30:35Speaker 2: are building like crazy West Palm Beach. They're putting a
- 30:37Speaker 2: million skyscrapers, a million office they're gonna you know, they're
- 30:42Speaker 2: not thinking ahead. I've seen this happen in other cities.
- 30:44Speaker 2: They do that, and they forget to make the airport
- 30:46Speaker 2: double the size, they forget to put in more roads, right,
- 30:48Speaker 2: and then it's going to become a nightmare in West
- 30:50Speaker 2: Palm Beach.
- 30:53Speaker 10: Mark Man, you're still you're still promoting this New York jouvinism,
- 30:57Speaker 10: like the like there's still some future in New York.
- 30:59Speaker 10: I mean the Palm Beach Airport compared to Laguardie or JFK,
- 31:05Speaker 10: I mean it's fantastic. I mean yeah, because it's so
- 31:09Speaker 10: easy to get to. I'm like seven minutes I'm on
- 31:12Speaker 10: the Island. I'm seven minutes away from the airport. You
- 31:15Speaker 10: know how much it cost to parking they in pomp
- 31:17Speaker 10: at the Pombeach International fourteen bucks.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the greatest airport in America because it's small,
- 31:23Speaker 2: there's not much traffic. It's easy, there's not too many people.
- 31:26Speaker 2: I'm just saying, when they build all these buildings and
- 31:28Speaker 2: you've got millions trying to go in and out of
- 31:30Speaker 2: that airport, it's going to be a nightmare. It's it's
- 31:33Speaker 2: not going to be the thing.
- 31:35Speaker 3: So in other words, it'll be like New York City.
- 31:38Speaker 3: You were through Trump when he was first running, he
- 31:40Speaker 3: used to talk about going to the airport.
- 31:42Speaker 10: The Phillip Wharton said, it's like going in It's like
- 31:45Speaker 10: being in Bay Roads drag to get into the city
- 31:48Speaker 10: from the airport.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Well, you know what, it's no better now, is it.
- 31:53Speaker 2: It's a little better. But they're opening a casino right
- 31:55Speaker 2: next to it. So good luck. So a Hey, if

- 33:41Speaker 2: It's Frank Sinatra's one hundred and tenth birthday today. We
- 33:45Speaker 2: should talk about Sinatra, tell some Sinatra stories. We'll get
- 33:48Speaker 2: to that in the next hour. Mark Simone here ten
- 33:51Speaker 2: to noon every day, and remember you can listen to
- 33:54Speaker 2: the show also anytime you want, day or night. Just
- 33:56Speaker 2: get the podcast back after the news seven to ten.
- 34:00Speaker 1: You uh, you're listening to the Mark Simone show.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Hey, it's Friday. It's less than two weeks the Christmas Day,
- 34:16Speaker 2: can you believe it? And uh, three weeks from today
- 34:20Speaker 2: it'll be the new Year. It'll be the first full
- 34:25Speaker 2: day of the Mom Donnie administration. Three weeks from today.
- 34:29Speaker 2: All right, calm down, it's gonna be like Deblasio We
- 34:32Speaker 2: got through eight years of that. We'll get through a
- 34:35Speaker 2: couple of years of mom Donnie and uh, all right.
- 34:40Speaker 2: It wasn't great under Deblasio, but we got through it.
- 34:43Speaker 2: We'll get through this too. So hey, you know this
- 34:46Speaker 2: guy Thompson, we're talking about Democrats. They're just nuttier and
- 34:53Speaker 2: nuttier and nuttier, crazier, more far left. Every year. It's
- 35:00Speaker 2: just they get worse and worse. So they're having hearings
- 35:02Speaker 2: yesterday in Congress and christinoam is there to testify about deportation,
- 35:09Speaker 2: about ice, Christy Nome is testifying in the course. The
- 35:12Speaker 2: Democrats with the TV cameras on, they want to, you know,
- 35:15Speaker 2: create some viral moments, so they're yelling and screaming. You
- 35:18Speaker 2: got this crazy left wing. Dan Goldman from New York
- 35:22Speaker 2: yelling at Christineomas.
- 35:23Speaker 9: As if you're Department of Courts, anyone with an ongoing
- 35:28Speaker 9: asylum application, you are violating the law.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Isn't that correct?
- 35:33Speaker 6: The asylum program was broken under the list.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Chairman, I will reclaim my time.
- 35:36Speaker 9: She's not answering the question, but the obvious answer is
- 35:40Speaker 9: that yes, if you follow a lawful pathway. Asylum is
- 35:46Speaker 9: a lawful pathway if you have an open asylum case.
- 35:50Speaker 9: You are here lawfully, but the problem that we are
- 35:54Speaker 9: seeing around the country is that you are not following
- 35:58Speaker 9: the law.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Don't tell us to change the law.
- 36:01Speaker 9: If you don't like the asylum system, you change the
- 36:04Speaker 9: asylum law.
- 36:05Speaker 2: This is the problem. He shouldn't allow cameras on these things.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Here's a guy just carrying on for just crazy theatrics
- 36:12Speaker 2: for the camera. He's a smart guy, Goldman, need to
- 36:14Speaker 2: me far left wing kook, but he's a smart guy.
- 36:16Speaker 2: But he's just carrying on for the camera. He has
- 36:19Speaker 2: no interest in her answer. He's not even listening to
- 36:22Speaker 2: her answer. In fact, he's as soon as she talks,
- 36:24Speaker 2: he's just waiting to jump in again and talk. And
- 36:27Speaker 2: he's yelling and screaming and huffing and puffing for the camera.
- 36:30Speaker 2: And he's going and you you carrying on because he
- 36:35Speaker 2: wants to be on the news. Seriously, they should not
- 36:38Speaker 2: allow cameras for these things. But you could also make
- 36:42Speaker 2: the case, you know what, you should have the cameras
- 36:44Speaker 2: there because some of these Democrats are so incredibly stupid
- 36:50Speaker 2: that you need to capture it on camera. Listen to
- 36:52Speaker 2: this Democrat, Congressman Thompson This guy is just an IQ
- 36:59Speaker 2: of maybe maybe eighty. I mean, he's just the dumbest
- 37:04Speaker 2: left wing Democrats. So he's going after Christy Nome and
- 37:08Speaker 2: he gets to the terrible assassination of two National Guard
- 37:13Speaker 2: troops in Washington, d C. This Muslim terrorist shoots two
- 37:20Speaker 2: National Guards and one is a woman, kills her, shoots
- 37:24Speaker 2: her in the head. Listen to this. Thompson discussed the
- 37:26Speaker 2: incident with Christy Noman. Listen to his you won't believe
- 37:30Speaker 2: the words he.
- 37:30Speaker 15: Uses amount of secretary of you and the gentleman from
- 37:34Speaker 15: c T n CTC reference the unfortunate accident that occurred
- 37:42Speaker 15: with the National guardsman being keel.
- 37:44Speaker 6: You think that was an unfortunate accident, I mean it's
- 37:48Speaker 6: a terrorist.
- 37:48Speaker 15: Wait wait look, I'll get it straight, and then you.
- 37:51Speaker 6: Can shot our National guardsman in the head?
- 37:53Speaker 15: Look was Sam? Will you direct the witness to allow
- 37:58Speaker 15: me to ask my question? It was an unfortunate situation.
- 38:05Speaker 2: It's hard to believe a guy this dumb has any
- 38:07Speaker 2: kind of a job. But how the hell is a
- 38:10Speaker 2: guy this dumb a congressman. Listen to it again, and
- 38:14Speaker 2: now it's Christine Noman. It takes her a second to
- 38:16Speaker 2: even process. What he said that you can't believe be
- 38:19Speaker 2: setting in this dumb it's a Muslim terrorist assassinating a
- 38:24Speaker 2: National guardswoman.
- 38:25Speaker 15: Mantam secretary of you and a gentleman from ct in
- 38:29Speaker 15: CTC reference the unfortunate accident that occurred with the National
- 38:37Speaker 15: guardsman and.
- 38:38Speaker 6: KIEO you think that was an unfortunate accident.
- 38:41Speaker 13: I mean it's a terrorist.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Wait wait, look, I'll get it straight.
- 38:45Speaker 6: Then you can shot our National guardsman in the head.
- 38:47Speaker 15: Looks Sam, will you direct witness to allow me to
- 38:53Speaker 15: ask my question.
- 38:55Speaker 2: It's an unbelievable here's the founding father's coming back to
- 38:58Speaker 2: life and finding out this, this imbecile is an actual cause.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Oh I'm laughing. It's not funny, Mike Johnson.
- 39:05Speaker 6: I'm very privileged in honor today to have my family
- 39:08Speaker 6: with me.
- 39:09Speaker 2: I like, oh, this is this is Christy notman as
- 39:13Speaker 2: she's testifying, and of course you have a nut job
- 39:18Speaker 2: or two have got into the chamber and they're gonna approach.
- 39:21Speaker 2: This is why they shouldn't allow these cameras in there.
- 39:22Speaker 6: Actually, I'm very privileged in honor today to have my
- 39:25Speaker 6: family with me.
- 39:26Speaker 1: I'd like to introduce them to you.
- 39:30Speaker 9: A deportations disruptions of congressional business is a violation of law.
- 39:35Speaker 14: It's a criminal offense under federal law.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Audience members are advised to take their seats and maintain order.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Of course, we'll get a desk appearance ticket and that's
- 39:45Speaker 2: it and it's over with. It's not like January sixth,
- 39:48Speaker 2: where if this were the Democrats, they would put this
- 39:50Speaker 2: guy in solitary confinement convicthim for twenty years. He basically
- 39:54Speaker 2: did what everybody on January sixth did. But in this
- 39:57Speaker 2: case it'll be a desk appearance ticket. Curse call that
- 40:00Speaker 2: a disappearance ticket. You don't even have to answer it.
- 40:03Speaker 2: So you get these lunatics and then they take the
- 40:06Speaker 2: governor of Illinois. Problem is you get these really raging
- 40:11Speaker 2: lunatics in office, and then the otherwise smart people start
- 40:15Speaker 2: behaving them like that. You know, Pritzker, who's a billionaire
- 40:19Speaker 2: of businessman, has to act like a nut to be
- 40:22Speaker 2: a successful Democrat. So he's fighting ice. They're trying to
- 40:25Speaker 2: come in and get illegal criminals and gang members off
- 40:29Speaker 2: the street. He's trying to block it. He's trying to
- 40:31Speaker 2: stop it.
- 40:32Speaker 16: The Chicago region has been subjected to a relentless campaign
- 40:36Speaker 16: of cruelty and intimidation and abuse at the hands of
- 40:42Speaker 16: ICE and Border Patrol agents. Together, we're sending a message
- 40:46Speaker 16: to Donald Trump, to Christy Gnome, to Gregory Bavino and
- 40:49Speaker 16: anyone else seeking to terrorize our people. Your divisiveness and
- 40:54Speaker 16: your brutality are not welcome here.
- 40:57Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 40:58Speaker 2: The message is you leave our criminals alone, leave our
- 41:01Speaker 2: gang members there. Of course Holman has to respond talk
- 41:03Speaker 2: about terrorizing.
- 41:04Speaker 18: Why don't he talk to the victims of illego crime.
- 41:08Speaker 18: Why don't he do I've done and talk to the
- 41:10Speaker 18: angel moms and dad who buried their children because they
- 41:14Speaker 18: were killed by someone's not supposed to be here while
- 41:17Speaker 18: he talked to you know, called the ICE office and
- 41:19Speaker 18: talk to people that are involved with voice victims of
- 41:22Speaker 18: immigration crime and hear their stories.
- 41:24Speaker 1: They're the ones that are terrorized.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Like Tom Holman, but give up. You can't explain it.
- 41:29Speaker 2: You can't explain anything to these lunatics. They don't want
- 41:33Speaker 2: to hear it. Here's another guy, IQ eighty five. Maybe
- 41:39Speaker 2: this is a congressman. He's going to impeach Pete Hesith.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Listen to this guy.
- 41:46Speaker 19: I introduced articles to impeach Secretary Pete hexth for murder
- 41:52Speaker 19: and conspiracy to murder and reckless and unlawful mishandling of
- 41:58Speaker 19: classified information. And his actions are not just reprehensible but
- 42:04Speaker 19: illegal as well.
- 42:05Speaker 2: I know you're saying, what an idiot, what the hell?
- 42:08Speaker 2: Why is it's not going to go anywhere? You know,
- 42:10Speaker 2: don't get yourself the sky, get on the view. He'll
- 42:12Speaker 2: get on MS whatever they call it. He'll get on CNN. Hey,
- 42:17Speaker 2: some bad news. They tried once again to indict Letitia James.
- 42:22Speaker 2: It went before a grand jury, this time in Alexandria, Virginia.
- 42:26Speaker 2: The grand jury refused to indict. That's tough, and a
- 42:30Speaker 2: second time. Second time a grand jury didn't indict. Usually
- 42:34Speaker 2: pretty easy to get a grand jury to go along.
- 42:36Speaker 2: So this is not looking good here. First you had
- 42:39Speaker 2: a judge. Now you could say, well, they'll bring it again.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Hopefully they will, but you got to be careful. You know,
- 42:46Speaker 2: you do this too many times. It looks like you're
- 42:48Speaker 2: grand jury shopping. And even the CNN guy here as
- 42:51Speaker 2: a point, this is over.
- 42:54Speaker 20: We have never I can point to no case in
- 42:57Speaker 20: the last twenty years where you've had a case thrown
- 42:59Speaker 20: out a judge. Then you had a grand jury refused
- 43:02Speaker 20: to indict it, which is very hard to do. Then
- 43:04Speaker 20: you had a second grand jury a week later refused
- 43:07Speaker 20: to re reindict it.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but if you look at all the stuff she's done,
- 43:12Speaker 2: you could tell this is one sleazy woman. They'll find something,
- 43:16Speaker 2: they'll they'll get her on something before they're done. Hey,
- 43:19Speaker 2: remember a George Soros is a company bought a lot
- 43:24Speaker 2: of radio groups and radio stations and radio companies. It
- 43:28Speaker 2: was a couple of years ago. They got FCC approval.
- 43:31Speaker 2: It was Biden at the time. So the Soros fund
- 43:34Speaker 2: owns a lot of radio. Everybody worried, well, they try
- 43:37Speaker 2: to tamper with conservative radio. That kind of swell. Know,
- 43:40Speaker 2: they bought a lot of AM stations. They just shut
- 43:43Speaker 2: one of them down. It's in Miami. It's a Spanish station,
- 43:47Speaker 2: but it's a conservative Spanish station. It's conservative stuff for
- 43:51Speaker 2: the Spanish community in Miami. The Soros group just shut
- 43:55Speaker 2: it down, just took it off the air, claiming for
- 43:59Speaker 2: financial reasons. They took it. Well, very important voice in
- 44:03Speaker 2: the Miami Spanish community, a conservative voice though, so they
- 44:07Speaker 2: just shut it down. It's gone. As I said, Mom, Donnie, uh.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Two weeks three weeks from yesterday, takes office. Three weeks
- 44:18Speaker 2: from yesterday, Mom Donnie takes office. They'll have the inauguration.
- 44:22Speaker 2: It looks like Adams is not going to go. He's
- 44:24Speaker 2: making quite a stink about not going. Says he hasn't decided,
- 44:27Speaker 2: but it sounds like he's not going. That's unusual. There's
- 44:30Speaker 2: always always, always the previous mayor there. That'll be unusual.
- 44:34Speaker 2: He'll be sworn in. I guess that night he goes
- 44:36Speaker 2: to Gracie Mansion to stay there for the first night.
- 44:39Speaker 2: He's the youngest mayor ever. He also, you know, he
- 44:43Speaker 2: has no kids. I'm trying to think, Oh, ed Kotch,
- 44:48Speaker 2: but him. I guess ed Coach was the only other
- 44:50Speaker 2: mayor that didn't have kids. If we ever had a
- 44:53Speaker 2: mayor with no children ed Cotch. Uh, Mom Donnie, I
- 44:57Speaker 2: think that. But you know, Mom Donnie hasn't been married
- 44:59Speaker 2: very long. He just got married at the beginning of
- 45:01Speaker 2: the year, February he got married. Yeah, he's only been
- 45:05Speaker 2: married like ten months to this seemingly a nice woman
- 45:08Speaker 2: and he's got to be nuts. He's married to Mom Donnie,
- 45:10Speaker 2: but they met on the dating app Hinge. Hinge is
- 45:14Speaker 2: a very good app, and I notice. You know, normally
- 45:19Speaker 2: if you're a dating app, you do some advertising promote yourself.
- 45:27Speaker 2: That's a pretty good coup. Hey, you the mayor of
- 45:29Speaker 2: New York met his wife on hinge. I noticed they're
- 45:31Speaker 2: not using it for any kind of advertise. I guess
- 45:33Speaker 2: they don't even they don't want to be tied to mom. Donnie. Hey,
- 45:37Speaker 2: it's Frank Sinatra's one hundred and tenth birthday today. It's
- 45:41Speaker 2: a big day. December twelfth, the birthday of Frank Sinatra.
- 45:45Speaker 2: He was the greatest singer ever in the history of music,
- 45:48Speaker 2: the biggest star of the twentieth century. You don't realize
- 45:52Speaker 2: how big this guy was and how long. You know,
- 45:56Speaker 2: you could be really big for ten years, twenty years.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Look at the Beatles, you know, they were really only there.
- 46:02Speaker 2: I mean they came to America in sixty four, but
- 46:07Speaker 2: they broke up in nineteen seventies, so it was really
- 46:09Speaker 2: six years. It was really sixty two because they were
- 46:12Speaker 2: very big in Europe first, but that's eight years. So
- 46:16Speaker 2: that was it. You know, Sinatra was like on top
- 46:18Speaker 2: of the world, performing all over the world for decades
- 46:23Speaker 2: and decades. You know, when he started Herbert Hoover was president,
- 46:29Speaker 2: and when he stopped, Bill Clinton was president. That's a long,
- 46:33Speaker 2: long run of being on top. He was very good
- 46:37Speaker 2: at evolving, at changing himself. There were different Sinatras every decade.
- 46:41Speaker 2: He was the boys singer with the bow tie Little
- 46:43Speaker 2: Frankie in the forties. Then he came back in the
- 46:46Speaker 2: fifties as the older nightclub pal Joey singer. And then
- 46:50Speaker 2: in the sixties he was the rat pack Las Vegas guy,
- 46:53Speaker 2: and then you know, that didn't work out, and that
- 46:56Speaker 2: was huge, but then in the seventies it wasn't working
- 46:59Speaker 2: so he switched and he did what a lot of
- 47:03Speaker 2: these singers have to realize. Billy Joel figured it out,
- 47:05Speaker 2: McCartney figured it out. He got to stop trying to
- 47:08Speaker 2: be the contemporary, churning out top forty hits kind of
- 47:12Speaker 2: a guy and switch as you get older and become
- 47:14Speaker 2: the elder statesman, where all you do is just travel
- 47:17Speaker 2: the world doing these big, grand concerts, these big events
- 47:21Speaker 2: the Elder States and doing concerts and that's it. And
- 47:25Speaker 2: that's what he did for the last twenty years very successfully.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Sinatra was you know, he lived in California, but he
- 47:32Speaker 2: also really more than half the time. He lived in
- 47:34Speaker 2: New York, right over there of the Waldorf Apartment thirty
- 47:38Speaker 2: three A. How's that for a memory. But he loved
- 47:41Speaker 2: New York. He was out all night. Wherever he was
- 47:43Speaker 2: in the world, he'd be out all night. In fact,
- 47:45Speaker 2: when Sinatra would invite you to dinner, you'd bring sunglasses
- 47:50Speaker 2: because it might be noon by the time you got home.
- 47:53Speaker 2: It would just go all night long. Dinner was huge.
- 47:57Speaker 2: It was always thirty people, forty people. You know. Sometimes
- 48:02Speaker 2: I'd see a guy and he'd be all excited. Frank
- 48:05Speaker 2: invited me to dinner tonight, and the guy was so thrilled.
- 48:08Speaker 2: I didn't have the heart to tell him, dinner's forty people.
- 48:11Speaker 2: You're gonna be like fourteen seats away. And that guy
- 48:14Speaker 2: would say, I was thinking about what I want to
- 48:17Speaker 2: talk about with him, and I didn't have the heart
- 48:19Speaker 2: to tell him. You're not going to get a word
- 48:20Speaker 2: in all night. He's going to talk NonStop. You won't
- 48:22Speaker 2: get to say anything. But it was always fun. It
- 48:25Speaker 2: was always incredible, and he was an incredible tipper. You know.
- 48:31Speaker 2: He would this that famous story. He was leaving the
- 48:33Speaker 2: place and he gave the doorman. He said to the doorman,
- 48:36Speaker 2: what's the biggest tip you ever got? And the doorman
- 48:38Speaker 2: said one hundred dollars. That was a fortune back then.
- 48:42Speaker 2: So Sinatra said one hundred dollars, here's two hundred. Door
- 48:45Speaker 2: man couldn't believe it. And a Sinatra's leaving, he turned around,
- 48:48Speaker 2: he says, hey, who gave you the hundred? He goes,
- 48:50Speaker 2: you did a few months ago. So he had to
- 48:54Speaker 2: keep topping his own record. But he was just an
- 48:58Speaker 2: unbelievable guy, the most generous guy in the world. All
- 49:01Speaker 2: these great you know there was. He had beautiful art
- 49:04Speaker 2: all over his house, beautiful, incredible, very expensive paintings and everything.
- 49:09Speaker 2: There was the violinist Eleanor Slatkin, who played on a
- 49:12Speaker 2: lot of his records, Eleanor Slatkin, and he saw her
- 49:16Speaker 2: in the house at a party. She'd come to a
- 49:18Speaker 2: big dinner party. She was staring at one painting and
- 49:21Speaker 2: he said, you like that? She said, oh what, I
- 49:23Speaker 2: love that painting. So anyway, they went into the dinner
- 49:26Speaker 2: and all that, and hours later she's leaving and gets
- 49:29Speaker 2: into her car and there's the painting wrapped up in
- 49:33Speaker 2: the backseat of her car. That's the way. It was
- 49:35Speaker 2: just very very generous and incredible guy. You know, if
- 49:42Speaker 2: you haven't done it in a while, go back and
- 49:44Speaker 2: start listening to Sinatra music. I'm sure you do now
- 49:46Speaker 2: and then, but seriously listen to it. Go go on
- 49:49Speaker 2: wherever you get your music, and just listen to We
- 49:51Speaker 2: Small Hours of the Morning. Go listen to the whole
- 49:53Speaker 2: album or only the Lonely or any of those. We'll
- 49:56Speaker 2: take some calls. Next eight, we'll talk to the world's
- 49:58Speaker 2: greatest polster. In a few let's see where Trump really
- 50:01Speaker 2: stands and what the real issues are, and we'll take
- 50:03Speaker 2: some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 50:07Speaker 2: ten is the number eight hundred three to two one
- 50:10Speaker 2: zero seven ten at a.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Pre sat on the iHeartRadio app to wor to hear
- 50:16Speaker 1: Mark live, set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime.
- 50:21Speaker 1: Now back to Mark Simone on WOR.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Hey, let's say some calls. Let's go to h Randall
- 50:30Speaker 2: and Maryland Randall. How you doing, I'm good.
- 50:34Speaker 17: Mark.
- 50:36Speaker 21: Do you remember a theatre critic that used to be
- 50:39Speaker 21: on WOR in the mornings by m O'Brien.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Jack O'Brien. Yes, yes, he was actually a big writer
- 50:47Speaker 2: for the Was it the Daily News of the World
- 50:50Speaker 2: Telegram on one of those things, and Jack O'Brien, yeah,
- 50:54Speaker 2: used to anyway, the show was called Critics Circle. I
- 50:57Speaker 2: actually knew the guy. It was very late in his life.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Not the nicest guy in the world. I never really
- 51:01Speaker 2: liked him.
- 51:02Speaker 21: But go ahead, Well, well about Sinatra, he had some
- 51:06Speaker 21: kind of feud or he hated Sinatra.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Well, uh, Jack O'Brien, he was this guy, could have
- 51:13Speaker 2: a feud with anybody. If you met him for two minutes,
- 51:15Speaker 2: you'd hate the guy. I mean, he just not a
- 51:18Speaker 2: nice guy. I'd argue about anything and everything.
- 51:21Speaker 21: Can I tell you you know the man? I didn't.
- 51:24Speaker 21: But can I tell you my favorite Sinatra quote?
- 51:27Speaker 2: Go ahead?
- 51:28Speaker 21: Is it when he was freshed about this mob connections
- 51:33Speaker 21: early on, right, he says, any of the checks were
- 51:36Speaker 21: always good?
- 51:39Speaker 2: All right? You know, Well, it's too much to get
- 51:42Speaker 2: into the whole mob thing. He wasn't the mob singer
- 51:45Speaker 2: he was made out to me. He loved the mob.
- 51:46Speaker 2: He romanticized that he chased after these mobsters. He loved
- 51:50Speaker 2: hanging out with him. There were other guys in the music,
- 51:53Speaker 2: other famous singers who were so mob connected, way beyond Sinatra.
- 51:56Speaker 2: But Sinatra liked to play it up a lot. Let's
- 51:59Speaker 2: go to day in Chicago, Dave.
- 52:01Speaker 13: How you doing, Good morning, Mark.
- 52:03Speaker 22: I'm doing very well. Thank you, Mark. I have a
- 52:06Speaker 22: couple of Frank Sinatra questions, if I may go ahead.
- 52:10Speaker 22: I know he had a record label called Reprise Records.
- 52:15Speaker 22: The Night, Yeah, I had heard that he did not
- 52:20Speaker 22: like the song. And the second question is regarding the
- 52:24Speaker 22: rat Pack. I had heard that Angie Dickinson was a member.
- 52:27Speaker 12: Is this true?
- 52:28Speaker 2: Yes, she was in the movie Ocean's Eleven. She was
- 52:31Speaker 2: a member of the rat Pack. Strangers in the Night. Yes,
- 52:33Speaker 2: he did hate that song. He didn't like my Way,
- 52:38Speaker 2: couldn't stand it, hated paul Anka. Despite anything paul Anka,
- 52:41Speaker 2: I tell you, Sinatra was not a big paul Anka fan.
- 52:45Speaker 19: Uh.
- 52:45Speaker 2: In fact, it's the concert for the America's. You can
- 52:49Speaker 2: get the video the concert for the America's whenever it
- 52:53Speaker 2: was big TV special and we're going to film the concert.
- 52:56Speaker 2: He had to do Strangers in the Night. He hated
- 52:58Speaker 2: the song. But if you get a concert for the Americas,
- 53:01Speaker 2: he does Strangers in the Night and at the end
- 53:05Speaker 2: people are applauding and applauding. You see him go over
- 53:07Speaker 2: and say something to Vinnie Falcone, the pianist and conductor.
- 53:12Speaker 2: And I said the Falcon, what did he say to you?
- 53:14Speaker 2: And he said he went over and said, that's the
- 53:17Speaker 2: worst Fens song ever written. He didn't, he said the
- 53:21Speaker 2: actual effort. So I went back and I got the
- 53:24Speaker 2: you can barely hear it, but if you turn it
- 53:26Speaker 2: up real loud, put your ear right up there, you
- 53:28Speaker 2: can hear him say that to Vinnie Fellcone. Let's go
- 53:32Speaker 2: to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 53:35Speaker 17: Good morning, Mark, I'm okay, Good morning Marah. Mark. You
- 53:38Speaker 17: may remember the theater critic of the New York Times,
- 53:41Speaker 17: Andrew Saris.
- 53:43Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I didn't know him. I know the name.
- 53:45Speaker 17: Yeah, he lived in my building. He was more lived
- 53:47Speaker 17: in my apartment building.
- 53:48Speaker 2: There's more of a film critic.
- 53:49Speaker 17: Wasn't he He was. I was very young when hed
- 53:55Speaker 17: in my house. But anyway, he lived in my house
- 53:58Speaker 17: with my well and my family owned the building. What
- 54:02Speaker 17: I wanted to say is it would be easy to
- 54:04Speaker 17: bring a case against Letitia James in New York because
- 54:09Speaker 17: here it's black and white. It wasn't in Virginia. But here.
- 54:13Speaker 17: At first off, we would go to Brooklyn because she
- 54:16Speaker 17: owns the property in Brooklyn and she listed it as
- 54:20Speaker 17: a four family. It's a five family. And also there's here.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Well, you're also you're right about the law, but you
- 54:27Speaker 2: can't bring the case in New York because you got
- 54:28Speaker 2: New York judges, new York jury's they'll never do anything.
- 54:31Speaker 17: But though't they have the same crooked problem in Virginia.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Mind? Yeah, apparently, but in New York forget it. You
- 54:37Speaker 2: know that case she brought against Sinatra, not Sinatra Trump,
- 54:41Speaker 2: the case she brought against Trump. No judge, jury anywhere
- 54:45Speaker 2: in the world would allow that, no court room, but
- 54:47Speaker 2: only here in New York, crazy left wing judges.
- 54:50Speaker 17: Yeah, you're right, Bouck, you're right. Probably it would be
- 54:54Speaker 17: like a lead balloon here. But I just thought because
- 54:57Speaker 17: maybe with the insurance company, because you.
- 55:00Speaker 2: Gotta get it anytime you're in a New York court,
- 55:02Speaker 2: new York judge, new York jurors, forget it. You got
- 55:05Speaker 2: no shot that's topped.
- 55:07Speaker 17: Unfortunately, you're probably right.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Marked All right, great call, Thanks for Colin. We'll take
- 55:12Speaker 2: a break for the news, get caught up on everything,
- 55:14Speaker 2: and then we'll talk to the greatest polster in the world.
- 55:17Speaker 2: You're being bombarded with fake polls right now. Ap those
- 55:21Speaker 2: kind of crazy left wing slanted place we'll get We'll
- 55:24Speaker 2: get the real story. Helse. Let's see what kind of
- 55:27Speaker 2: what he thinks about Bruce Blakeman, who's going to be governor.
- 55:29Speaker 2: We'll get to that too, coming up next on seven
- 55:32Speaker 2: to ten w o R.
- 55:34Speaker 1: The Mark the Moon Show on WR.
- 55:40Speaker 2: Well, you know, you see all these public polls, these junkie, cheap,
- 55:43Speaker 2: little flimsy poles. But let's talk to the greatest pollster
- 55:47Speaker 2: in the world. I mean, the real poles are behind
- 55:48Speaker 2: the scenes, the ones that candidates use pay a fortune for.
- 55:52Speaker 2: But there's here's the best pollster on earth, John McLaughlan.
- 55:56Speaker 2: His website McLachlan online dot com. But he's been the
- 56:01Speaker 2: poster for presidents, prime minister's, premiers, senators all over the world.
- 56:05Speaker 2: John McLaughlin, how you doing.
- 56:07Speaker 12: I'm doing well, because that's a very very nice introduction.
- 56:11Speaker 12: But as well as having survived three presidential campaigns with
- 56:15Speaker 12: President Trump where he made his polster look good, I'll
- 56:18Speaker 12: accept it. He credit goes to him and the other
- 56:23Speaker 12: the other elected officials work force. So I just take
- 56:27Speaker 12: the polls.
- 56:28Speaker 2: We'll get to him in a moment. Let's start with
- 56:30Speaker 2: the governor's race here in New York next year. Bruce
- 56:33Speaker 2: Blakeman alis Stephonic. To me, they're both very popular. I
- 56:36Speaker 2: think Blakeman would be the better choice because he's what
- 56:39Speaker 2: he does right now is he's a governor. He's the
- 56:41Speaker 2: governor of Nasau County. She's a legislator, he's a governor.
- 56:45Speaker 2: But where does it stand pole wise?
- 56:48Speaker 12: Well exactly, I mean, well, first of all, there's only
- 56:51Speaker 12: been one poll that was a serious poll that was
- 56:55Speaker 12: put out there, and that was the cien Pol. And
- 56:58Speaker 12: the Cenopol had Congresswoman's Stephonic losing by twenty points. I
- 57:03Speaker 12: had her upside down. She was twenty eight favorable, thirty
- 57:06Speaker 12: six unfavorable. They didn't even put Bruce in it. So
- 57:09Speaker 12: even though you know Kathy Hochel is very beatable, she's
- 57:13Speaker 12: not popular and most people when somebody knew the congresswoman's
- 57:18Speaker 12: losing to her by twenty points. And I worked for
- 57:21Speaker 12: Lee's Eldon last time. At some point we hit a
- 57:24Speaker 12: wall with forty seven percent, but it was close enough
- 57:28Speaker 12: that we gained congressional seats in New York. And the
- 57:31Speaker 12: bad part about this is somebody like Bruce. Let me
- 57:33Speaker 12: tell you about Bruce. The election he had in Nassau
- 57:36Speaker 12: County was defied the national trends, where he got re
- 57:41Speaker 12: elected with twelve percent in an eight point Democrat county
- 57:44Speaker 12: because he's cut taxes and he's kept the taxes low.
- 57:48Speaker 12: Plus he hired hundreds of more police and worked with
- 57:51Speaker 12: ice and it's the safest county in America. So Bruce,
- 57:56Speaker 12: like in Nassau County, in our post election surveyce well,
- 58:00Speaker 12: the voters gave him a twelve point you know, landslide
- 58:03Speaker 12: and a carry.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Through the rest of the ticket.
- 58:05Speaker 12: He brought all these other Republicans in with them, and
- 58:09Speaker 12: the rest of the state they were losing, like fifty
- 58:11Speaker 12: Republican county legislators upstate. They were you know, taking losses
- 58:15Speaker 12: in Syracuse and other places. And you know, even like
- 58:20Speaker 12: in Stuffic we lost Riverhead. And so there's there's we
- 58:24Speaker 12: need somebody like Bruce who can win among Hispanic votes.
- 58:27Speaker 12: He won among Hispanic votes, he won among Asian voters,
- 58:29Speaker 12: he won among Jewish voters. I mean in New York
- 58:33Speaker 12: you have to get thirty five percent of the vote
- 58:35Speaker 12: in New York City to win president Trump, you know,
- 58:38Speaker 12: got thirty percent. Zeldon got thirty percent, but the Lease
- 58:42Speaker 12: is not getting that, and a lease, you know is
- 58:45Speaker 12: the bad part is if you get if you can't
- 58:47Speaker 12: win the New York suburbs and you can't win New
- 58:50Speaker 12: York enough vote in New York City, you know, the
- 58:53Speaker 12: Anirondacks aren't going to make it up. So upstate, you know, well,
- 58:57Speaker 12: the Republicans are fighting for existence because the other thing
- 59:00Speaker 12: Hulkle did was she moved a lot of the id elections.
- 59:05Speaker 12: He's town supervisors, a county. Later studies they moved into
- 59:08Speaker 12: the even year behind the governor's race. So not only
- 59:12Speaker 12: will we have trouble trying to like defeat Laura Gillen
- 59:15Speaker 12: in the Democrat in in CD four Nassau County or
- 59:20Speaker 12: Tom Swasey and Nassau County. Uh, you might have Republicans
- 59:24Speaker 12: like Nicole Mally Takas, Nicololota, one of my favorite, Mike Waller.
- 59:30Speaker 12: Uh An upstate, you're gonna have a lot of problems
- 59:32Speaker 12: trying to get the Congress the Republican of Congress reelected,
- 59:37Speaker 12: and uh Bruce changes the whole makeup of the race.
- 59:41Speaker 12: He's running on a positive record, a positive view. He's
- 59:44Speaker 12: definitely a Trump Conservative. He had we had President Trump
- 59:48Speaker 12: out at the Ryder Cup in Nassau County during the campaign,
- 59:52Speaker 12: and it was it was turned into like a between
- 59:56Speaker 12: Bruce and President Trump. It was like a USA rally.
- 59:59Speaker 12: It was like Trump camp around me and you know
- 1:00:02Speaker 12: so and President Trump after after he visited his job.
- 1:00:05Speaker 12: A rule in National Academy was fifty seven percent.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: So Blakely would be the best governor. There's no better choice.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: But people say, you can't win a Republican, cannot win
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: in New York City as mayor Republican. And I'm starting
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: to think we haven't had a Republican governor in twenty years,
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: have we?
- 1:00:22Speaker 12: And no George for Taki that was it's I mean
- 1:00:25Speaker 12: he served three terms and and and Bruce is a
- 1:00:27Speaker 12: lot like George, where you know, he has that personal appeal.
- 1:00:31Speaker 12: I mean, President Trump says, you know, Bruce is out
- 1:00:34Speaker 12: of central casting. He's very likable and and like that.
- 1:00:38Speaker 12: Siena Poli I cided, I mean, Elise's twenty eight favorable
- 1:00:42Speaker 12: thirty six unfairbles she's already that negative in New York
- 1:00:45Speaker 12: State among the voters that nowhere but.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: A Republican Republican can win New York.
- 1:00:49Speaker 12: Right, definitely, a Republican could win New York because in
- 1:00:55Speaker 12: that same poem referring to most voters want somebody new
- 1:00:59Speaker 12: for governor and uh, you know, well they want somebody new,
- 1:01:03Speaker 12: but they're saying, well, least isn't it. So let's let's
- 1:01:06Speaker 12: give Bruce some time to build some support and show
- 1:01:09Speaker 12: he could potentially beat Kathy Hochel. So you know that's uh,
- 1:01:15Speaker 12: you know, we need change in New York.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: And uh, definitely right, you're.
- 1:01:19Speaker 12: You're familiar with you know, I mean, and that was
- 1:01:24Speaker 12: with Mayor elect Mundai. Uh, you're going to need a
- 1:01:27Speaker 12: governor to be a check and balance, particularly if the
- 1:01:30Speaker 12: legislature gives in on him, like Bruce has pointed out
- 1:01:33Speaker 12: that Kathy Hochele now wants to raise the corporate tax
- 1:01:36Speaker 12: in New York from seven percent to eleven percent. Well,
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: that'll be passed on to consumers. That won't be good
- 1:01:41Speaker 12: for cost of living.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: He could and could you guys start using the word tariffs.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: I love to do that. When they talk about raising
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: the corporate tax, it's a tariff. So Democrats want to
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: now put tariffs on the corporations in New York. It's
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: the same thing.
- 1:01:54Speaker 12: The difference. No tariffs are on you know, that's on
- 1:01:57Speaker 12: foreign things coming out to the unit. We're talking about.
- 1:02:01Speaker 12: This is domestic. This is your jobs in New York.
- 1:02:04Speaker 12: The people that you might work for in New York.
- 1:02:06Speaker 12: If they get if their corporate taxes go from seven
- 1:02:09Speaker 12: to eleven here, they go to Texas and Florida and Tennessee,
- 1:02:14Speaker 12: and you know it's it's not good. So they you know,
- 1:02:19Speaker 12: we could lose jobs because of them, and then the
- 1:02:22Speaker 12: prices get passed on and so hey, we need we
- 1:02:25Speaker 12: need to like Bruce to stop that.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Yeah, no, definitely, Bruce Blakeman. Hey, I'm watching The Morning
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Joe this morning. Apparently Donald Trump has the worst poll
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: numbers ever. He's dying, He's gonna be, uh the lowest.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: What what's the real truth?
- 1:02:40Speaker 12: We had? And it's on our website. The day before Thanksgiving,
- 1:02:43Speaker 12: we put out a national survey, We put out a
- 1:02:46Speaker 12: monthly national survey, and President Trump has a fifty job
- 1:02:48Speaker 12: approval forty six disapprove among likely voters, people that will
- 1:02:53Speaker 12: show up next November and vote for members of Congress
- 1:02:56Speaker 12: and Senate. And you know, I think it could be
- 1:02:59Speaker 12: it could be, but we've got we've got to sell
- 1:03:02Speaker 12: them that they you know, ironically, that the economy is
- 1:03:06Speaker 12: doing better. Economy and inflation are still the top issues,
- 1:03:10Speaker 12: and Biden is responsible for most of the inflation he's
- 1:03:13Speaker 12: dealing with right now. But President Trump had a great
- 1:03:17Speaker 12: night on Tuesday night when he was out in uh
- 1:03:19Speaker 12: Pennsylvania talking about the fact that wages are now growing
- 1:03:23Speaker 12: faster than the rate of inflation. And you know, the
- 1:03:26Speaker 12: tax cuts, the no tax cuts on tips, on overtime,
- 1:03:29Speaker 12: on Social Security, they don't kick in till January. So
- 1:03:33Speaker 12: when they start kicking in, you know, our friends like
- 1:03:36Speaker 12: Larry Kudlow, Steve Moore that you know very well, Steve Forbes,
- 1:03:40Speaker 12: that's when you'll get even better growth in the economy.
- 1:03:43Speaker 12: And uh so I think that'll that will help us
- 1:03:46Speaker 12: next year so that we can keep keep the House
- 1:03:48Speaker 12: and keep the Senate in UH in Washington, and President
- 1:03:52Speaker 12: Trump will be out on the campaign trail doing what
- 1:03:54Speaker 12: he did on Tuesday night talking about the real facts
- 1:03:57Speaker 12: about how how the economy is in better shape than
- 1:04:00Speaker 12: I think, as you said, Joe Scarborough or whatever they said,
- 1:04:06Speaker 12: you know, I mean, before they go back to Connecticut
- 1:04:10Speaker 12: and their dry limos and stuff like that. But we
- 1:04:13Speaker 12: think we need to. I mean, President Trump is going
- 1:04:17Speaker 12: to make it better for working class voters and this
- 1:04:19Speaker 12: affordability issues. As Bruce Blakeman showed us in Nasau, Democrats
- 1:04:25Speaker 12: can't be for affordability when they want to raise your taxes.
- 1:04:28Speaker 12: I mean, how that's the least affordable thing if the
- 1:04:32Speaker 12: four years of buying inflation to pay higher taxes in
- 1:04:36Speaker 12: every Democrat for Congress or for Senate voted for to
- 1:04:41Speaker 12: let the Trump tax cuts lapse, which would eraise taxes
- 1:04:44Speaker 12: two or three thousand dollars on every American. And we
- 1:04:46Speaker 12: can't afford that. And Pal's not lower and interest rates
- 1:04:50Speaker 12: fast enough because mortgage rates are still high, credit card
- 1:04:53Speaker 12: rates are still high. We got to get rid of him,
- 1:04:56Speaker 12: and we got to look at Trump tax cuts work,
- 1:04:58Speaker 12: and friends like Iricolo with Almas, they gonna have a
- 1:05:01Speaker 12: boom this year.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and next year. Actually, starting January, the big beautiful
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: bill kicks in. Everybody's going to notice a big difference
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: in their paychecks starting in January. Well, John McLoughlin, great stuff.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: People can go to your website. What can they see
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: up there at McLaughlan online dot.
- 1:05:17Speaker 12: Com McLachlan online dot com. You will find the National
- 1:05:21Speaker 12: survey that I spoke about, and you'll you'll see that.
- 1:05:25Speaker 12: And then we actually have a history of surveys on
- 1:05:27Speaker 12: that that go way back, the ones that had Trump
- 1:05:31Speaker 12: beating Kamala Harris and beating Joe Biden before that. But
- 1:05:35Speaker 12: the press, the media didn't say that was going to happen.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Yeah, well, everybody go check it out. And you had
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: it right. Well, thanks to you. But he's the best
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: poster on earth. He's the real polls, not the fake public,
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: but the best poster on earth. And John McLoughlin's website
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: is McLachlan online dot com. Check it out, John McLaughlin,
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: thanks for being with us. Thank you, take care. Uh,

- 1:06:10Speaker 2: very very very good show. You got me ten to noon. Hey,

- 1:06:34Speaker 2: you can get the podcasts anywhere wherever you get podcasts,
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: or just go to seven to ten wor dot com.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: It's more more mister New York on seven ten WR.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: And they just released the whole batch of Epstein photographs.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: You can find him online. Woody Allen looks very chummy
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: with Epstein. Pictures of Woody Allen in Epstein's dining room
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: at home and his house, and Bill Gates at his house,
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Steve Bannon and Epstein's office, two of them alone. Now
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: there's a couple of Trump pictures. They'll say, ah, there's
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Trump with Epstein. But you'll notice that all the Trump pictures,
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: he's obviously at a party with hundreds of people. Oh
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: there's a picture of him with six women. Yeah, it's
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: obviously the party. They're all dressed up and they got
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: those Hawaiian lays around their neck. It's obviously some kind
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: of party and he's there. Everybody's dressed up there in
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: a big ballroom or something, so it's not that significant.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: And again, I know people have seen every inch of
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: every Epstein file and they all say the same thing.
