Boating Tragedy on Oxbow Lake | Flint News
A tragic boating accident on Oxbow Lake in Oakland County claimed the life of 71-year-old Kirk Magnuson after his high-speed boat became airborne and crashed into the water—no life jacket worn. His 56-year-old passenger survived thanks to a nearby boat, now hospitalized but stable. Authorities confirm alcohol wasn’t involved, but the incident underscores how quickly water can turn deadly without proper safety gear.
