Speaker 1: believe that it's in the scriptures. We're partakers of His

Speaker 1: run into our word for today's morning Devo. So, Father,

Speaker 1: I thank you that we are ate it in your image,

Speaker 1: and we are different. We are born again. You are

Speaker 1: establishing in us a new mindset, a new heart. We're

Speaker 1: redeemed for a purpose and a plan that you have

Speaker 1: created us for this side of eternity to be a

Speaker 1: part of this time and such a time as this,

Speaker 1: for us to make a difference and be a difference.

Speaker 1: I thank you, Lord God for your Holy Spirit, the

Speaker 1: Holy Spirit who leads us. Your spirit. You're guiding us,

Speaker 1: You're leading us into all truth. Thank you, Lord God

Speaker 1: for your hedge of protection over our families, over ourselves personally, physically, emotionally,

Speaker 1: and spiritually. So I speak that over myself, the protection

Speaker 1: of God, over my wife, over our children, over our grandchildren,

Speaker 1: over our family members, both from the youngest to the oldest,

Speaker 1: and every family member in between, that you will put

Speaker 1: peace upon their hearts, that you would guide them to

Speaker 1: lot of people say, well, this means that we can't

Speaker 1: be with unbelievers, that we shouldn't communicate with unbelievers, we

Speaker 1: shouldn't be friends. That's not what the scriptures saying, susceys,

Speaker 1: that we don't gather with unbelievers doing unbelievable things. That

Speaker 1: unbelievers do according to the flesh. We if we're in

Speaker 1: the area of an unbeliever, we bring the light of Christ.

Speaker 1: We shine a light of Christ. We have the glory

Speaker 1: of God. Amen. And we're there to be different. We're

Speaker 1: there to make a difference. We're there to show the

Speaker 1: gospel message, to share the gospel message, to love people. Right.

Speaker 1: Of course, we're gonna be among unbelievers, but we need

Speaker 1: to be separate according to how we live. We don't

Speaker 1: live like unbelievers. We don't even mourn when we lose

Speaker 1: a loved one. We don't even mourn like unbelievers because

Speaker 1: we have a hope and we know that one day

Speaker 1: we will see our loved ones who are saved and

Speaker 1: born again. We will see them again. So we don't

Speaker 1: more like the world that has no hope. So when

Speaker 1: it says come out from among unbelievers, it doesn't mean

Speaker 1: that we need to be apart and disengage. When it

Speaker 1: says touch what is do not touch what is unclean,

Speaker 1: that means the things that lead us to the temptation

Speaker 1: to sin, right, don't touch it. No more. Don't be

Speaker 1: a part of that, no more. Don't engage in those

Speaker 1: things anymore. That's what the scripture is saying a man

Speaker 1: to be different, not to be how you call it.

Speaker 1: You know, like the Christians that everything is the world

Speaker 1: you wear a certain type of clothing, all you worldly,

Speaker 1: if you wear jewelry or not. Legalism. No, we're talking

Speaker 1: about holiness, righteousness. We're talking about the blessing of being

Speaker 1: set apart. There's a blessing and being set apart right

Speaker 1: in the Book of Psalms that says, blesses the man

Speaker 1: who does not gather with the ungodly. I'm product they

Speaker 1: sum one, blesses the man who doesn't join with the wicked.

Speaker 1: Why because we are set apart for the use for God,

Speaker 1: for his kingdom, for his purpose, for his plan. Amen.

Speaker 1: It doesn't mean that we're not going to be around unbelievers.

Speaker 1: to that it will be all believers in the country.

Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't even think that exists. It's

Speaker 1: not going to be a or the theocracy. It's not

Speaker 1: going to be like a country full of just believers

Speaker 1: and we're all, you know, having fun and games. There's

Speaker 1: always going to be people who don't believe, and we're

Speaker 1: sent to those people to reach them with the gospel message.

Speaker 1: you're guarding your heart and maintaining your witness. Because if

Speaker 1: you notice that if you gather around with certain individuals,

Speaker 1: certain groups, certain activities, you might fall into that instead

Speaker 1: of being an influence, you might be influenced by certain

Speaker 1: groups and certain activities that are out there. So you

Speaker 1: protect the brand of Christ in your own life. To

Speaker 1: your daily choice choices. Right, your daily choices, what you

Speaker 1: entertain will become what you want. Right, whatever you ponder

Speaker 1: or think about the most, you're gonna be wanting to

Speaker 1: do those things, whether good or bad. Amen. So let's

Speaker 1: do ponder about good things so we could often do

Speaker 1: good things. And if you ponder about bad things, be careful. Amen.

Speaker 1: went through my social media years ago and unfollowed a

Speaker 1: whole lot of people that I was just because at

Speaker 1: one point, if you will be a friend with somebody,

Speaker 1: it will automatically follow that person. So became like I

Speaker 1: had like a thousand people that I was following that

Speaker 1: I really didn't know number one and number two. Following

Speaker 1: them wasn't doing me any good, right, So I had

Speaker 1: to take hours upon hours to unfollow a whole lot

Speaker 1: of people, not to unfriend them, it's a difference, but

Speaker 1: unfollow them because their feeds and their x y Z

Speaker 1: wasn't lining up anything good with me in my life

Speaker 1: at least, Amen. And plus images and postings that they

Speaker 1: will put up that were ungullly right, that were causing

Speaker 1: me to be tempted and do all that stuff. So

Speaker 1: I had to unfollow. Maybe that's what you need to do.

Speaker 1: It takes time, depending on how many friends you have, Amen.

Speaker 1: you friend someone on social media that you automatically follow them.

Speaker 1: Have you ever been crucified, and yet we're preaching a

Speaker 1: crucified Lord Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified, died

Speaker 1: have been resurrected if you're born again in the spiritual realm. Amen.

Speaker 1: Sometimes even in the physical there's noted documented resurrections. Yes,

Speaker 1: but don't go around saying, oh, I can't preach that

Speaker 1: or I can't speak about that because I never experienced it.

Speaker 1: We have Holy Spirit living inside of us that will

Speaker 1: allow us to speak the oracles, the mysteries, and to

Speaker 1: proclaim the Gospel. Amen. He will allow us. We're free

Speaker 1: to preach the gospel whether we experience XYZ or not.

Speaker 1: I can't be that selfish and be like, I'm not

Speaker 1: going to tell this person about this because I'm struggling

Speaker 1: in this part of my life. That's selfishness. It's not

Speaker 1: the Gospel of sam It's the Gospel of the Lord

Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. Amen. So the reward of being different, this

Speaker 1: is a reward when you're different. For being different, you

Speaker 1: are rewarded. So even though, like I said earlier, the

Speaker 1: world is gonna mock you. They're gonna say Oh, you

Speaker 1: think you're holier than now, you think you're better than us.

Speaker 1: They're gonna mock our Lord. They're gonna mock our belief.

Speaker 1: They're gonna mock our churches. They're gonna mock our communities.

Speaker 1: They're gonna mock the way we talk, the way we speak,

Speaker 1: the way we respond, the way we think. Okay, we

Speaker 1: already know that that's part of the deal. But being

Speaker 1: set apart, even though it's gonna cost you your comfort,

Speaker 1: it's gonna cost you some friends, it's gonna actually lead

Speaker 1: you to an eternal reward. How about that, an eternal

Speaker 1: We're not a temporary reward, even though we'll be rewarded

Speaker 1: in this side of eternity as well. But we have

Speaker 1: a reward for eternity. Amen. So when God I said,

Speaker 1: come out from among you, when the apostle, poor inspired

Speaker 1: by Holy Spirit says, come out from among them and

Speaker 1: be separate, the Lord spoke that through the apostle touch

Speaker 1: no unclean thing. And then God said I will receive you. Amen.

Speaker 1: So get out the dodge, you know, get over those hurdles,

Speaker 1: run from sexual morality and all that stuff, and then

Speaker 1: present yourself to the Lord. And he said he will

Speaker 1: receive us. So when you live set apart, the bonus

Speaker 1: part about that is you live with clarity. You don't

Speaker 1: have that brain fog anymore. You're not shackled to sin anymore.

Speaker 1: You're not in the prison of your own desires anymore. Right,

Speaker 1: you walk in clarity. And not only that, you walk

Speaker 1: in clarity. Now you have the ability to speak with authority. Amen.

Speaker 1: What you say according to the scripture will happen. Now,

Speaker 1: if you say things outside of the scripture, you're on

Speaker 1: your own. I'm on my own when I quote things

Speaker 1: that are not from the Bible. Amen. If I want

Speaker 1: certain things and i'm speaking it, I'm trying to manifest

Speaker 1: it by the manifestation movement. Like that, it's very possible

Speaker 1: that nothing's going to happen. But when you speak the

Speaker 1: word of God, Amen, and God's word is lining up

Speaker 1: with what you need to do in your life, Amen,

Speaker 1: is going to come to pass. Remember, there was a

Speaker 1: promise of God before the Law. When Abraham received the promise,

Speaker 1: he received that promise before the Law of God was written. Amen.

Speaker 1: So believe that the promise came before the law, and

Speaker 1: you experience peace. I'm talking about true peace, not the

Speaker 1: way the world has that peace, which is a counterfeit peace.

Speaker 1: We have true peace, meaning that Jesus saved you saved me.

Speaker 1: Now we have the peace of God by because we

Speaker 1: have the peace of God, because we have peace with God.

Speaker 1: In other words, Jesus said, I'm the Way, the Truth,

Speaker 1: and the Life. Shalom's because now he creates a way

Speaker 1: to create peace with man and God. So when you

Speaker 1: mourn again, you have the peace of God because you

Speaker 1: have peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Being

Speaker 1: different a man, although it costs you, I'm not gonna

Speaker 1: say it's like, oh, just be different. It's easy. Everybody's

Speaker 1: gonna love you. Know when you're different, when you're following Christ,

Speaker 1: when you're following Holy Spirit, move right and he leads

Speaker 1: you a man. Sometimes he'll take you from place to

Speaker 1: place and people say, oh, this person is hopping over

Speaker 1: church hopping and doing this. No, you're following the lead

Speaker 1: of Holy Spirit. He might have you an assignment for

Speaker 1: a time in one area and one community and one

Speaker 1: church and one ministry, and then he says, okay, you

Speaker 1: completed that. Now go to another place where I see you.

Speaker 1: See that all through the scriptures with the apostles and disciples.

Speaker 1: They were keeping it moving a man. So don't let

Speaker 1: nobody say, oh, you know, you're church hoping, you're not law,

Speaker 1: you're not this, and you're not that. Unless you have

Speaker 1: you're at, and it's just seeking for happiness not truth,

Speaker 1: then they might have a point. But when you're following

Speaker 1: you where he needs you. Or actually, I'm let me

Speaker 1: humble myself. He doesn't really need me. But if we

Speaker 1: follow his prompting, follow his lead, Amen, or we're going

Speaker 1: to be in places that we could be used by

Speaker 1: God to do mighty works for God. Amen. So in

Speaker 1: your prayer life you might need to pray this a

Speaker 1: lot until you are settled with the fact that you're different.

Speaker 1: Father in Heaven, we're brothers and sisters in Christ, Amen,

Speaker 1: to come to realization that we're called to be different,

Speaker 1: We're called to be set apart for the use of

Speaker 1: the kingdom. So you might have to pray something like this, Lord,

Speaker 1: for a church, not a part for a religion, not

Speaker 1: a part set apart for God. We need help in
