- 0:00Have I ever told you I cannot stand the phrase living the dream? He
- 0:03has a response to, hey, how you doing? Or what's up?
- 0:05Are you just living the dream? You know? I have never once said
- 0:09it, because it so quickly became this just like throwaway thing. People would
- 0:13shut out, you don't mean it. You don't mean it first of all,
- 0:16because you're not right. I'm sure there's things you could complain about.
- 0:20And it's just like we might as well have not even talked. If I
- 0:23go, if I see at the grocery store, I go, hey,
- 0:25Joe, how's it going? You go live in the dream. He's like,
- 0:28okay, well, then I'll just bleep off one that has kind of
- 0:32taken over for that where people don't want to say those like just another day
- 0:36in paradise, you know, yeah, and that sounds so sarcastic, right,
- 0:40that makes me think that you're absolutely going through hell right now. You
- 0:43know. I did find some other phrases that many Americans cannot stand. These
- 0:48things are supposed to be positive, because I feel like people who say that
- 0:51that's what they're trying to be, but it just comes off as annoying.
- 0:54For exam it's very condescending sometimes you ever hear people still saying karp a DM
- 0:59remember that movie? Yeah, I feel like it was always on our yearbook.
- 1:02What does it mean again? It means live every day of the fullest?
- 1:03Right, Oh yeah, or something something of that sort. It was
- 1:06a Robin Williams film. Great movie, was it Dead Poet's Society? You
- 1:10didn't watch that in school? You didn't watch Dead Poet's Society? But we
- 1:12had it on our years. Robin Williams is the teacher stood up on the
- 1:15desk. Noah, we never watched it. We watched Roots. That doesn't
- 1:21count. No, I don't even know what that is, all right?
- 1:23Anyway? Besides it point like you know this one. I think it's the
- 1:26worst one of them all, live laugh love has anybody? Can you still
- 1:32use that on? Ironically? That's on my uh well, my mom had
- 1:37it written on the wall. Now when you walk into my stepdad's house,
- 1:41like you, does it say laugh love, live laugh love. Yeah.
- 1:44See I want to say that because when was that put up? I want
- 1:48to say it's grandfather dan as like a legitimate decoration. But anybody who's you
- 1:53have been the early two thousand's, late nineties something like that then it's probably
- 1:57acceptable, but I feel don't know it was so that has just gone now.
- 2:00It is so stupid. I'm not trying to be mister negative here,
- 2:04because yeah, causies are supposed to be very positive. But absolutely do all
- 2:07three. They're the best. But just don't put it on your wall.
- 2:10And my god, don't get it tattooed. If you're listening. By the
- 2:14way, we have somebody chiming in. Mark said, living my best life.
- 2:17Yeah, iimes I sometimes do that. I've gotten away from it,
- 2:22but probably two years ago whenever I'd put up a picture of my kids like
- 2:25they're just living their best life. Well, of course you are there two
- 2:29and they're sitting in their crib like like they don't have much of a choice
- 2:32and a poopy diaper and I'm holding their bottle. I mean, to be
- 2:36fair, I guess they were living their best life. But in a way,
- 2:38happiness is a choice. Ano they're positive phrase many Americans cannot stand,
- 2:43and that is a bit annoying to happiness is like, isn't you know if
- 2:46I'm like, let's say, let's say I go missing a man, I'm
- 2:51in the woods. I haven't ate or drank anything in seven days. Well,
- 2:55yeah, then you just look around you and you call. But you
- 2:59know what, North Dakota sunset is legendary and it is beautiful, and you
- 3:04know what, I'm finding my happiness right here. Never mind the fact that
- 3:07I'm part shared about to die. I'll never see anybody I love again.
- 3:13Trending. Now, here's what you need to know. A man was arrested
- 3:16on suspicion of manslaughter and the death of former NHL player Adam Johnson. The
- 3:21arrest comes more than two weeks since police began investigating the incident. Now,
- 3:24Johnson was the hockey player whose throat was cut by the skate blade during that
- 3:30collision. It happened overseas. Now, police did not name the suspect or
- 3:34provide his age. He is just in police custody. Probably not the biggest
- 3:38mystery. Yeah, And then the articles that I was reading, I'm like,
- 3:40it's got to be the guy, right, Well, it would be
- 3:44sane, insane to be anybody else, but maybe you were onto something where
- 3:46they just got to a sufferent country. They aren't allowing that information exactly.
- 3:52It's so sad. I mean, honestly, they were showing the memorial on
- 3:54TV. Earlier. It's just so sad. I don't know. That's I
- 3:57was talking with some friends. That's gonna be a tough one to try.
- 4:00You know, I don't know what they're gonna decide ultimately is a manslaughter?
- 4:03You know what I mean? Like, how can you truly tell the intent
- 4:06in that situation? I correct, you meant to hurt him clearly, but
- 4:12you know what I mean, it's such a high, you know, high
- 4:15paced collision. It's just, you know, it's tough. I'm and I
- 4:21know there's a lot of Jonas Brothers fans that are devastated. I saw your
- 4:26sister's post a little bit Agpike. She was really excited to go see the
- 4:30Joe bros. And sign out. She had literally months planning to finally get
- 4:32out. You know, she got two young kids, so this was going
- 4:34to be her big hoorah out to Grand Forks. Taking a bus works.
- 4:39She's gonna have to postpone that. The Jonas Brothers concert that is scheduled for
- 4:43Friday at the Aleris Center has been postponed, not canceled. It's due to
- 4:46logistical issues and basically what's going on. They're in Winnipeg tonight Saint Paul on
- 4:50Sunday, and they're squeezing in a little detour to Virginia for one performance for
- 4:58any song, a single song performance on college game day. Yes for jam
- 5:02you know I'm like and that do we know that was not previously scheduled?
- 5:08That was something ESPN Game Day may usually plan a week in advance. We
- 5:12know that they've been here a couple of times. So the Jonas brothers were
- 5:15faced with a decision play in Grand Forks, North Dakota, five hours of
- 5:18songs or whatever for all of their fans, or a single song on college
- 5:24game day. It's hard to look at it that way, but either way,
- 5:26they're gonna be back as soon as we get that date. We'll get
- 5:29it to so you can reroute your plans like they re routed theirs. That's
- 5:33a bomber, it is, I get it. I mean, you don't
- 5:35think Low Standards has ever been faced with a tough decision when you know we
- 5:40already had a show booked at Ricks, but then you know, the d
- 5:43L. Street Dance comes calling. It's like, what are you gonna do?
- 5:45What are you gonna do? We'll save that for a Friday. What
- 5:47do you do? What do you do? Hey, Jason Alexander. He
- 5:50shared what he knows about the possible Sidefeld reboot, and much like we anticipated,
- 5:57this is what he had to say. There's only one reason for that
- 5:59rumor. Jerry apparently, at the end of some stand up thing went well,
- 6:01Larry and I are thinking of something. I go good for you.
- 6:04I don't know anything about it. Apparently they don't need George and they may
- 6:10not need a laying because Julia and I went, do you know anything about
- 6:13them? I don't know anything about we, And I just talked to Michael
- 6:15the other day. I don't think he knew anything about it either. So
- 6:17Michael being Cosmo cres right, Uh, do you know what that reminds me
- 6:21of? And you're gonna be so annoyed because you loved the show so much,
- 6:25well so much. If it is any sort of Seinfeld slander, don
- 6:28don't even proceeed me not even that. Hearing his voice reminds me of when
- 6:31he was on Pretty Woman. That was him, right when he was like
- 6:34going after Julia Roberts. Well, it's his voice, it's how he talks.
- 6:39I know, of course, it's so funny the way he was talking
- 6:42there reminds me of the way he was talking twenty years ago. That's crazy.
- 6:46You know who does a great Jason Alexander impression is Jason Alexander. It's
- 6:54nuts, It's uncanny, you know who. It also kind of sounded like
- 7:02was his character in Shallow How remember that one, Mauricio. I just it
- 7:10just made me want to watch Pretty Woman, and I guess I forgot that
- 7:14that was the guy. Yeah, he was. Also he is mostly,
- 7:16of course, known for his KFC commercials throughout the late nineties. And two
- 7:23thoughts. Oh man, all right, guys, enough of this weatherwise,
- 7:26it is going to be great again today. Get out and enjoy sunshine Hive
- 7:29about fifty six like an Amenda in the morning, big naty eight points seven.
- 7:32You know what they say, Amanda, You ever heard this phrase?
- 7:34It's the little things, won't you agree? Absolutely? And I agree.
- 7:42I was thinking so yeah. I don't know why I was so passionate.
- 7:46And I agree. It's not the big grand gestures. It's little things that
- 7:49can really mean the world to women. And I've narrowed it down to some
- 7:53of the best little things that even I Amanda, Oh, I was a
- 7:57perfect man. You just went on your way. You just decided what women
- 8:00wat You just went through the list. You're like, oh, this is
- 8:01it. I mean even I can improve on some of these things, like,
- 8:05for example, you remember her friend's names, just a little thing that
- 8:09means the world to women. Does Nick know all of your friend's names?
- 8:13Two friends? What? Yeah? Right? Amanda famously, over the years,
- 8:16has forty five best friends. No, so this sounds like really ridiculous,
- 8:20but he runs into people all of the time and they're like, oh,
- 8:24hey, oh you're Nick, And he's like mm and and he's like
- 8:30trying to He's like, yeah, ran into somebody like really big curly hair,
- 8:33said she went to school with you, and she follows you on Facebook.
- 8:37She says, it's fair. Is he expected to know that person's name?
- 8:41Of course not, but that's usually how the situation goes otherwise. No,
- 8:43he knows like my two friends. Sure, And it goes both ways,
- 8:46because there's people in my life who to be fair to give my wife
- 8:50the benefit of the doubt, Like, I don't talking of that. You
- 8:52are that guy. You have a bajillion from here. You know, I'm
- 8:54from here. So I just over the years, I've met a lot of
- 8:56people I know a lot of people, and I'll bring one up and I'll
- 9:00be like, well, you know Todd, and my wife's like, well,
- 9:01who the heck is Todd? Tell me why would I know Todd?
- 9:05And I'd be like, well, Todd, we saw the one time at
- 9:07the one bar, remember anyway, so she's not doing that anyway. Anyway,
- 9:13You clean up after yourself, guys, come on it. Don't be
- 9:16a caveman. Wipe up your little crumbs. If you make a sandwich,
- 9:18wipe it up. It's just little stuff like that. In this one,
- 9:22I'm not great at at all. I feel like few are little things that
- 9:26you can do that women will really appreciate. Don't take forever to respond to
- 9:30her text. I mean defined forever. Oh my gosh, it's like instant
- 9:33unless I know he's in a meeting or something. I can't. I can't
- 9:35with that. I can't with that, like I don't know, I just
- 9:37gotta take time. Sometimes it's hours. You know what, I've actually noticed
- 9:41that we've had a group chat going with afternoon guy James and you and I.
- 9:45Sometimes you I'll be like, is the guy napping all day? And
- 9:50then all of a sudden at eight o'clock at night. You're like, oh,
- 9:52just catching up guys. You clearly and you were on your phone.
- 9:54You knew that there were text messages coming in. You just don't care.
- 9:58Yes, I was an exception because I really didn't see the forty five texts
- 10:01that you guys had sent. But anyway, I'll be driving for example,
- 10:03and not you, Amanda, I don't like to be on my phone.
- 10:07Well, okay, two, I got my phone in my pocket and it
- 10:11feels like it's, you know, giving me a massage. It's vibrating so
- 10:15much. And so I just I don't know at this point in my life
- 10:18if you want to talk to me, like texting isn't gonna be the way
- 10:20to do it, because I just so you don't want to talk on the
- 10:24phone either, I'm thinking I just don't want to talk to people. No,
- 10:26I'm just kidding. Talking on the phone is better doing in person,
- 10:30significantly better. Okay, So if your wife were to text you right now,
- 10:33good morning, babe, what do you want to do for dinner?
- 10:35Or something? She does? How long is it going to take you to
- 10:37respond? I mean I hit her with a good morning immediately after her good
- 10:41morning text? Now, but then she says, how are you? And
- 10:43that's gonna take me some time. That's gonna take me. So that is
- 10:46annoying. You watch what she wants to watch. That's another little thing you
- 10:50can do that women will love. Oh yeah, when Nick will watch a
- 10:52Hallmark movie with me and not just go upstairs or downstairs to watch a ball
- 10:58game, I'm like, oh gosh, he likes it too. I mean
- 11:01he might not admit it, but he loves a Hallmark movie. I don't
- 11:03think he loves the Hallmark movies. Every once in a while I'll get him
- 11:05hooked on a Lifetime movie that is just so bad that you can't stop.
- 11:09It's like, okay, you know what's gonna happen here, but he'll watch
- 11:13it. No Lifetime movies. Now, the boys aren't going to be talking
- 11:16about it, like at the bar, I'm not gonna talk to my but
- 11:18if one is on, and this has happened to be so many times,
- 11:20they're too juicy to not enjoy as stupid as they are. Thank you for
- 11:24being such a man right now admitting it. Yes, like the best.
- 11:28I mean, they're always juicy, and that's what I like it, Like
- 11:31a little juice in my movies. You don't talk badly about your exes.
- 11:35There's another thing you can do to make women go crazy. Does Nick talk
- 11:39bad about his exes? No, he does not. What just the perfect
- 11:41man? Well, he doesn't really clean up right away after himself. Is
- 11:46that right around the kich. I'm also like psycho, so I'm well,
- 11:52he's cooking dinner. I'm around him picking up everything, and he's just like,
- 11:54hey, I could you might need that olive oil again. It's like,
- 11:58okay, I'll go grab it and then I'll wipe it off him put
- 12:01it away. And my wife's sort of the same where we'll make food or
- 12:03something and then I want to, you know, when the food is done,
- 12:05it's time to eat, because I've been way I'm an dyeing neat.
- 12:07But then like she likes to do the dishes and put everything away and clean
- 12:11up the kitchen, while I just sit there like an idiot. Yeah,
- 12:13the houses or the kitchen is usually clean before we sit down and eat,
- 12:18and then by the time we're done, it's all just done. I have
- 12:20I get anxiety if my kitchen is a do I get anxieties and they're staring
- 12:24at my food. It was I don't. I don't want to eat it
- 12:26all before you come to even sit down, but I might not. There
- 12:30might not be another option. And the final little thing you can do guys
- 12:33that make women just go crazy give her massages. Oh gosh, yes,
- 12:39I don't get them on right now. No, but everyone, it's just
- 12:43like, yes, it's exhausting, it is, and you're not getting paid,
- 12:46so it's really no, I really hard to want to put the effort
- 12:48into it. If you were to reverse the roles, my fingees are gonna
- 12:52be really but yeah, women's fingers get soreed just almost instantly. It's of
- 12:56it. I'm like, oh I got a cramp. Yeah I did this
- 13:00to myself though. But when we first started dating, my wife and I
- 13:03was like, oh, you know, full body massage, no problem,
- 13:05can what Oh my gosh, man. We had also I was you know,
- 13:11I didn't have I went my license. No no, no, no,
- 13:13I didn't have my license, but I was basically a practicing massage therapist.
- 13:18We apologized all the masseuses out there who have gone to school and trained.
- 13:22But then as time goes by, obviously you know we're dating now,
- 13:26and it's like, okay, I pro I don't need to do the whole
- 13:28thirty minute job. And she's like, well, you remember when you used
- 13:31to do that. I'm like, yeah, I do good times. Taking
- 13:35Amanda in the morning did ninety seven. You're ready, ready, let's see
- 13:41it is piping hot today. No, Amanda stills, let's see. Let's
- 13:46see all right. Courtney Cox and matt LeBlanc, they broke their silence yesterday
- 13:52following Matthew Perry's death, and both of their Instagram posts were just heartbreaking for
- 13:56me. It was the video Courtney Cox had posted and she shared an outtake
- 14:00from the sitcom where she said, for now, here's one of my favorites,
- 14:03because she had talked about how there were just so many things that she
- 14:07could say, but it was a clip of Monica and Chandler in bed in
- 14:11London, and she said, to give a little backstory, Chandler and Monica
- 14:13were supposed to have a one night fling in London, but because of the
- 14:16audience reaction, it became the beginning of our love story. I can't imagine
- 14:20the show if they hadn't gone together. You know, of course that's what
- 14:24we wanted, so I'm glad they did it. She refers to him as
- 14:26Maddie and how much she misses him every single day. Matt LeBlanc, he
- 14:31shared a bunch of throwback of Row pictures, and you just forgot how young
- 14:33they were, Like, that's how long they've known each other, you know,
- 14:37I mean we kind of sometimes forget when friends was even hot. I
- 14:41mean back in the nineties. I don't see it. I never forget Aman
- 14:43that you weren't even a fan, so I know, but and not even
- 14:46being a fan, and just how sentimental it was. He was talking about
- 14:50how he'll never forget him. Spread your wings and fly, brother, You're
- 14:52finally free. Much love, And then of course made a little joke at
- 14:56the end. He said, and I guess you're keeping the twenty bucks you
- 14:58owe me. Ah funny. Now the photos of Joey and Chandler are like
- 15:01in their apartment, the hugging. I know, what a great that was,
- 15:05such a good, such a good on screen friendship, one of the
- 15:07best all the time. You might say, yeah, name a better one.
- 15:09Al Wait, this is us? What do you mean? This is
- 15:16us? They were all just really good friends. They're family. They're not
- 15:18all family on this is us? Who's the friends on this is Us that
- 15:22you would compare just the horrible. Yeah, told you set me up.
- 15:30I had to think of I said, name a better one. I said,
- 15:33not name one that's significantly worse. All Right, Taylor Swift is gonna
- 15:37be home for the holiday. She's in New York City and she does not
- 15:41have to be back out on her tour in Brazil until the day after Thanksgiving.
- 15:45A lot of people speculating what's gonna happen because Travis Kelce he does not
- 15:48play on Thanksgiving. He'll play on Sunday. But do you think she's gonna
- 15:52go hang with his fam? Do you think they're gonna do a little of
- 15:56both NFL players. They don't really get to go anywhere to stay in town,
- 16:00so she'll, you know, if she does spend it with him.
- 16:03And after two months it's a little aggressive, don't we think? I know
- 16:07you and your husband. We were spending holidays together immediately. Yes, we
- 16:10went into high gear. It was quick. Remember we met and got married
- 16:15on our one year anniversary. Yeah, and had Sidney LeWinn shortly after.
- 16:19I mean, this is this is the fast track I see for Taylor and
- 16:23Travis. It does feel that way. I know, and they're at that
- 16:26age. I don't know. And then she and then again she lives in
- 16:29New York And wouldn't you want to be there for that big parade. I'd
- 16:32probably really want to go to Kansas City when you could be in New York
- 16:36City, one of the biggest cities in the world. Well, you could
- 16:37be with Travis Kelcey. Yeah, I think I'd be just fine. Okay,
- 16:42you skipped the parade, we'll watch that on TV wor we're snuggled in
- 16:48front of the fireplace. Make her own float, oh god, like not
- 16:56a root beer float, like a parade for yeah, oh man, I'm
- 17:06just picturing them like doing like the helicopter when when you would as a kid,
- 17:11you know, you put the kid up on your hands, on your
- 17:11feet, making it doing the helicopter or the airplane or whatever. Oh gosh,
- 17:17all right. Kim kardashianedition about her daughter Northwest, And if you've following
- 17:21up along with these guys at all, Northwest feels like she's gonna be the
- 17:23first one, the real rascal of the group that is just gonna throw them
- 17:27all under the bus. Well, she seems very influenced by her dad,
- 17:30Kanye because what was it recently she was saying, how like, oh,
- 17:33I like dad's better because he doesn't have a bunch of nannies and he lives
- 17:36in an apartment just kind of has like a normal life. Right. Well,
- 17:38uh, Kim Kardashian is talking about how Northwest is quite the scam u
- 17:44scammer. So she just like a lot of kids puts together on lemonade stand.
- 17:48This one's not like you know the one over in West Vargo. She's
- 17:51going to the end of her Calabasas Lane or whatever, and she brings her
- 17:56table, her chair. She sits there for hours. Kim says, Usually
- 17:59if an an average person comes up, she's like, oh, it's only
- 18:00two dollars. But then she'll get a call from her friends and say,
- 18:04your daughter just said she didn't have change and took my twenty. That's great,
- 18:08little entrepreneur slash con artist, you know. But put those two things
- 18:14together and you got a bright feature. Sounds like her last name is Kardashian.
- 18:18Well it's not, though, Oh yeah, West Yeah, well cash
- 18:22just crushing my dreams and my one liners. Amanda in the morning on sage.
- 18:29I want to tell you this phrase. It's a positive phrase, but
- 18:30it annoys me. I want to tell you in a second, but we
- 18:33have somebody to introduce. A very special guest is entered the studio. I
- 18:37just an honor to have them here with us. You might know him name.
- 18:45This is the longest timphany in the world. That's cool. But then
- 18:48she walks all over it like that's where I would have been, like James
- 18:51Tyler, everybody, James, James were coming to save the show. James
- 18:56is our afternoon show host, a good friend of the show, and here
- 18:57he is, bright and early in the studio. How you doing well,
- 19:00a little tired, Pike. It's bright and early. Yeah, don't you
- 19:03know? Well sleeping in for us? Okay, enough, all right,
- 19:08So James, you might agree with me here because I think it's a dude
- 19:11thing mostly. But when you ask somebody, hey, how's it going,
- 19:14it's just like they're go to automatic without thinking. No matter how they're doing,
- 19:18they say, what live in the dream? Oh yeah? I hate
- 19:21that, in the small talk of it, where you you don't know what
- 19:25to say. But also, let's be fair, Pike, if you're in
- 19:27we're in the office, yeah, and we're passing each other in the hall.
- 19:33Yeah, just go ahead, Okay, Hello, what do you want
- 19:36me to do? Walk by you? Actually you're walking by it, and
- 19:37it's the first time you saw me today. Okay, I'm walking yep.
- 19:41What are the words I'm looking for? Do you wants to be like,
- 19:44Hey, how's it going? Oh? Hey, how's it going? Oh?
- 19:47My gosh, brutal? I mean last night my kids coodn't I mean,
- 19:49you know, do you really want the honest response? No, but
- 19:53you can just say good, you know. I like it when people go,
- 19:56well, you know, it's another day in paradise. Hi said that
- 20:00exact same one. Now, that's it. At the very least, it
- 20:03gives me an idea of how you're doing. Because I sent some sarcasts I
- 20:06was gonna say, it's never said positive. It's never truly like, you
- 20:07know, it is another day, imparadis so another day. Even just living
- 20:12in the dreams, like just living the dream, it's so sarcastic and it
- 20:17just oozes. But not always some people say it like genuinely, like oh
- 20:19I just got the perfect life. Don't mind me, I I guess.
- 20:25And there's other phrases that are supposed to be positive. People hate for example,
- 20:27live laugh, love, and that's more of a social media thing.
- 20:32I've home to core. Remember I remember the last time I was like,
- 20:37oh, live laugh, love. It's written on our walls at the lake
- 20:41right when you walk in Live laughluff. It's like something that you got in
- 20:45a coffee mug. Really tell the world. And there's that just to remind
- 20:48yourself that it's going to be okay, you know. And there's people walking
- 20:52around right now with that tattooed on their body, which you got to feel
- 20:53for them. No, they're just living, laughing and love. Trust me,
- 20:57I love all three of those things. He has charged some more than
- 21:00could just set me a private message and said living my best life. Yea,
- 21:06I am so guilty of that, especially with my kids. They're just
- 21:10living their best life. To be fair, they are because they probably just
- 21:11poop their diaper and they had a bottle in their mouth. That's living right
- 21:15there. I miss those things now I'm cleaning up after him. In this
- 21:19phrase is supposed to be positive. Everything happens for a reason. Did you
- 21:23truly believe that? I know there are people who do believe it, and
- 21:26no offense if you do. Yeah, I mean eventually you'll find the reason,
- 21:30or you'll make yourself come up with the reason. But in that moment
- 21:32when people say it, it's usually like, really, did you need to
- 21:36go there? Because there doesn't feel like that's the right response. Right now,
- 21:38there are things because of what happened, which in this case is unfortunate,
- 21:42Like there will be things that happened because of it that maybe are positive,
- 21:45but it's not like there was the plan the whole time, you know
- 21:48what I mean? Or another one. They're in a better place now.
- 21:51It's one of my favorites. Yes' going to tell you. Yeah, Melanie
- 21:52just chimed in. We have it posted on Facebook. Feel free to chime
- 21:56in seven on one two eight oh one ninety eighty seven because yes, I
- 21:59know, depending on your beliefs, I happen to believe in heaven. Yes
- 22:02that's great, But guess what that person is in here right now and I
- 22:04want them in my place right now? About me? I got to end
- 22:12with this one. We've got Jan, one of our top fans say Jan,
- 22:15Jan, Okay, welcome to my world. That drives me crazy.
- 22:19It's so condescending, Oh drives me crazy. To make the competition for whose
- 22:25life sucks the most. That's now you know how I feel like in the
- 22:33morning on Big Nutty eight point seven. You ever been on an airplane and
- 22:36it had to make an emergency landing, He's gotta be horrifying, right,
- 22:38I think I'd be the girl freaking out no matter what, even if it's
- 22:41just I don't think there's one going out. I think everyone's probably freaking out.
- 22:45Imagine being on this plane. Yesterday though, a plane leaving New York
- 22:48City had to make an emergency landing after a horse got loose on the plane.
- 22:53Huh, that's right, Amanda, Where was the horse? Pilots of
- 22:59the air at to icelandic aircraft can be heard telling top it, telling JFK
- 23:04controllers that the horse managed to escape. It's stall. Do they have horseplanes?
- 23:11You know what I like? Well, it's a cargo plane, so
- 23:12there's a there's planes that do carry a certain amount of cargo. You know.
- 23:17I've heard of dogs going in the underneath compartment correct or sometimes they'll sit
- 23:22on your lap or get a little seat or something like that. But a
- 23:25full on horse, I mean, I guess to be fair, you know,
- 23:27when you forget how big an airplane is, you know when they take
- 23:32the underpart out with the uh with the escalator kind of deal. So they're
- 23:36putting your luggage on, is there they're just like putting horses underneath. Yeah,
- 23:41well piling them in. There was a whole stall in everything. Now
- 23:44they said air Traffic Control, we don't have a problem flying wise, that's
- 23:47good news, okay, but we just can't see if we get this horse
- 23:49back in its stall. Once the animal was secured, a vet was brought
- 23:55in to make sure the horse was ready to fly. I don't know what
- 23:57that entails. Are there actual passengers on here? I think so? And
- 24:03also was this like a mister ed situation where you're ready to fly? I
- 24:10don't know what that is. The talking horse I have. I've heard of
- 24:17it, but I don't get the reference. But I don't know, Amana.
- 24:18I don't know if it wasn't a mister ed situation or not. All
- 24:22I know is that if it was not full of people, couldn't you just
- 24:25let the horse or run around? I guess I don't know. It maybe
- 24:27like the tail swinging and yeah, that's the Also would it have a problem
- 24:33if it was going back and forth like with the plane like turbulence wise,
- 24:37Like, yeah, you see the movies working for right, slamming against the
- 24:41walls back and forth, just old old nay and around. I would like
- 24:45to see security footage of this, just like of what the stalls and everything.
- 24:51You're one sick puppy, aren't you? Why you're wanting to see video
- 24:55of a horse slamming against walls, just of what it even looks like.
- 24:59I can't vision what a horse plane looks like. I imagine it's a normal
- 25:03plane, but they just probably throw out, you know, the last like
- 25:06ten rows of seats are just horse stalls. Have you ever seen people bring
- 25:10animals and plane to hear people bringing in? Well, of course there was
- 25:12the infamous peacock. Somebody tried to get a emotional support peacock, yeah,
- 25:18onto a plane. Somebody recently had an alligator they tried to bring in.
- 25:21Really yeah, like a smaller allemy, I miss that. I've seen dogs
- 25:25or whatever and you're like, okay, cool, I don't know. Isn't
- 25:29that what I mean? How many times you've driven by a horse trailer?
- 25:30You know what those are? Four? Why are we flying horses to other
- 25:33countries? Die? I mean a twelve hour driver a quick one hour flight.
- 25:38I don't know who. I guess you don't need you don't need to
- 25:42do it. Man, we got to hear it. Okay, we got
- 25:45it. I don't know. I kind of enjoy mine a little bit better,
- 25:48right again, I know I can't. It's just bad. No,
- 25:55I don't understand the flying situation with pets in general. I mean, you've
- 26:00had to fly with your kids, right, I imagine it's similar. I'm
- 26:03just really bike okay, man, I'm just forcing her round like in the
- 26:07morning, come on, get up on Big seven. Got a little email
- 26:14from this guy. I guess he's recently divorced and he's got an interesting I
- 26:18would call it a difficult situation on his hands. I've got some questions.
- 26:22Well, let's hear from him because he's on hold right now. Good morning,
- 26:25Billy, Hey, good morning, well, good morning, and sounds
- 26:27like you're looking for some love. Yes, I'm so nervous, but yeah,
- 26:33don't be nervous, man, it's just us, meet you, Amanda
- 26:36and potentially thousands of people listening. It's no big deal, no biggie,
- 26:40right, we appreciate it. Well, so you got sort of an interesting
- 26:42situation on your hands. With Ashley tell us about it. That's right.
- 26:45So we worked together for years now, and you know, I recently went
- 26:49through a divorce, but I am interested in Ashley. And the funny thing
- 26:52is we go out as work friends all the time and she's just like super
- 26:56supportive. And you know when we go out, she called me her wingman.
- 27:03You know, we created this bit the friend zone for people like you,
- 27:07my man, so a lot of people are in the friend zone.
- 27:10I feel like she like pigeonholed you, force you in the friend zone,
- 27:14and it is like calling you that, oh man. Okay, no,
- 27:17no no. But aside from that, I feel like we have a great
- 27:18connection. You know. I'm just ready to ask her out. Okay,
- 27:22I got to ask. You said, recently divorced, How fresh is that?
- 27:26Well it's been a few months now. It's actually divorced, though we're
- 27:30not like just separated but still married. All right, Well, Billy,
- 27:34I gotta tell you, man, you have ever gone from wingman to lover.
- 27:40It's a very rare accomplishment. Kill battle here she does. But I
- 27:45have confidence. So let's let's get Ashley on the phone. You've given us
- 27:48her phone numbers, so we're gonna give her a little ring here. You
- 27:51stay quiet, Okay, Billy, Hey, Ashley, it's Pike and the
- 28:02Mandy in the morning, a big ninety eight point seven. Can we talk
- 28:03to you for a second. Oh, did I win something? Well,
- 28:08maybe there is a prize on the line. We'll tell you that. Can
- 28:12we ask you a couple of other personal questions though, first, if you
- 28:15don't mind, Yeah, sure, Well I guess are you single? That's
- 28:18gonna be a big one. Yes, okay, wow shipper. Yes,
- 28:23Well, there's somebody who has a crush on you and they wanted us to
- 28:26reach out and maybe line you to up. Oh, okay, I think
- 28:32I know who this might be. You've been waiting for somebody to do this
- 28:34or yeah, So there's kind of this guy I went to high school with,
- 28:38so like I've still been talking to and maybe he has hearings for me.
- 28:45Okay, I've never had anybody just like randomly go oh, I know
- 28:48the guy. This is interesting. Actley, Can you hang on one second.
- 28:52Okay, We're gonna put Ashley on hold. I think we should just
- 28:53confirm with Billy that he did, in fact not go to school with her.
- 28:57Yeah, that's a good idea. Hey, Billy, are you there?
- 29:00It's just us. I just got to confirm before we move on.
- 29:03Did you go to high school with Ashley? I did not go. Okay,
- 29:07So just when you thought this couldn't get any better, all right,
- 29:10Billy, we're going back to Ashley. Hang on, Ashley, are you
- 29:11still there? Uh? Yeah, Hi, thanks for me to go back
- 29:15to our resources go through this and uh, you did not go to high
- 29:18school with us? Person. Oh my gosh, it's so embarrassing. We
- 29:22didn't hear that. Okay, So it's it's not from somebody from like your
- 29:26way past. It's somebody who's currently in your life. Okay, somebody you
- 29:30see, maybe almost even every day. Please, someone I work with.
- 29:33Is there anybody you work with that gets your attention that maybe you're javing with?
- 29:40Oh my gosh, I have no idea. Well his name is Billy,
- 29:44you know Billy? Oh my god, No, no, exactly,
- 29:49No, at least he waited until then. Oh my god, what are
- 29:55your thoughts on Billy Ashley? He's really nice. He's such a great guy,
- 30:03like super see I just hitting all the friend zone bingo cards. Yeah,
- 30:08he is recently divorced. We do know that let's say he was not
- 30:14recently divorced. Fast forward a few months from now, would you be interested
- 30:18in Billy? I don't know. I mean I still just can't get over
- 30:23that he's just recently divorced. I feel like he just needs some time to
- 30:26heal. Like we've just been talking. That's very sweet and thoughtful. But
- 30:32who better to ask than Billy himself. And he's on the phone right now,
- 30:37Chris Billy, good morning, say hello to Ashley. Oh hey,
- 30:41what's up? Ashley? I didn't okay, I guess I assumed you're probably
- 30:45on the other line. But so really enjoying with you. I mean,
- 30:52we've definitely been spending a lot of time together. And I mean I get
- 30:56it. I say, you get a little fat. He is crazy.
- 31:00You've been given a little vibe. Yeah, I mean I feel like,
- 31:03yeah, you know, maybe we could be more than friend. I mean,
- 31:07Astley, it sounds like you've got him working as your wingman. Why
- 31:10don't we just take out the the wing, the wing and just make them
- 31:14your man, real man. Okay, we'll be sorry, we're being so
- 31:18silly. I know, this is very serious. I think likes very uncomfortable
- 31:23and I guess I'll just say it. I hope you guys can still be
- 31:26good work friends. Maybe something will progress. I don't, I mean it
- 31:30might, I mean, give it, give it a few Max, all
- 31:33right, that's that's what we'll sell on, Billy. Can you give it
- 31:34a few months, see what happens. Yeah, we could be friends for
- 31:38those, no problem. Yeah, heyy can you flop that one back into
- 31:41the winter category potential ones. We'll see, we'll see, all right,
- 31:45guys, thank you so much for doing this on the radio. We appreciate
- 31:48it, all right, thanks for having me
