- 0:00Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell You cannot talk about these
- 0:28Speaker 1: people without talking about how they used class warfare, basically,
- 0:34Speaker 1: on poor people. Now, when I say that, I mean
- 0:39Speaker 1: they chose people who came from poor and broken homes,
- 0:43Speaker 1: people who only had one parent in their home, people
- 0:46Speaker 1: who have been abused, whatever it may be. These were
- 0:50Speaker 1: the people that Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell targeted on
- 0:54Speaker 1: a daily basis. And when you look at one of
- 0:59Speaker 1: their main centers of operation, which was Palm Beach, the
- 1:04Speaker 1: discrepancy between wealth a mere five or six miles away
- 1:10Speaker 1: between West Palm Beach and Palm Beach is mind-boggling. Now,
- 1:17Speaker 1: I live in Las Vegas, so I see this all
- 1:19Speaker 1: the time. You live in a place like Las Vegas,
- 1:25Speaker 1: and you look at Las Vegas Boulevard, all of the money,
- 1:28Speaker 1: all of the wealth, all of the prestige. You take
- 1:32Speaker 1: a quick drive two miles east, one mile east, into
- 1:37Speaker 1: East Las Vegas, into Central Las Vegas, and you see
- 1:41Speaker 1: right away how different of a story it is. homeless camps,
- 1:47Speaker 1: people struggling, daily, weekly apartments, the whole flip. And you
- 1:55Speaker 1: can see how there's almost an invisible line from where
- 2:02Speaker 1: the wealth ends and the misery begins. And I'm sure
- 2:07Speaker 1: most of you, wherever you're from, if you're from a
- 2:09Speaker 1: big city, you have areas like this as well. I
- 2:12Speaker 1: watched a documentary about kids in... Orange County, California, and
- 2:17Speaker 1: it broke my heart. These kids lived across the street
- 2:20Speaker 1: from Disneyland in these hotels, and obviously their parents never
- 2:25Speaker 1: had the money to bring them to Disneyland. So these
- 2:29Speaker 1: kids every night would watch the fireworks, go over into
- 2:32Speaker 1: the parking lots, hang out in the parking garage, but
- 2:35Speaker 1: they never had a chance to actually go into the park.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And it's just, it's... a microcosm of how society is
- 2:46Speaker 1: in general at this point. There are those who have,
- 2:50Speaker 1: and then there's the rest of us. And when I
- 2:53Speaker 1: talk about the discrepancy in wealth, I'm not talking about,
- 2:57Speaker 1: you know, your buddy Joe who went to school and
- 3:01Speaker 1: worked his way up and earning a great living now.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I'm talking about generational wealth. I'm talking about wealth that
- 3:08Speaker 1: most of us will never even be able to comprehend.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And that's the kind of wealth that Maxwell and Epstein
- 3:15Speaker 1: came from. Maxwell especially. Epstein by proxy, but Maxwell was
- 3:21Speaker 1: born into this. Her father, Robert Maxwell, super rich guy.
- 3:27Speaker 1: What do you think? They were sitting around talking well
- 3:29Speaker 1: of poor people? Of course they weren't. So, Ghislaine Maxwell...
- 3:35Speaker 1: has always been one of these upper crust types who
- 3:38Speaker 1: looks down her nose at the rest of us. And
- 3:41Speaker 1: all you have to do, again, is listen to the
- 3:43Speaker 1: survivors themselves. Cut out the middlemen. You really need some
- 3:47Speaker 1: jerk-off from the New York Times to tell you the
- 3:49Speaker 1: deal when the survivors are telling you the story themselves?
- 3:54Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell had a pretty shitty opinion of people who
- 3:58Speaker 1: were poor. Ghislaine Maxwell, according to all of these allegations
- 4:02Speaker 1: and to what a lot of these survivors have said,
- 4:06Speaker 1: had nothing good to say about people who were poor.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And when you add all of that up and you
- 4:12Speaker 1: look at the people that they targeted, it's rather obvious
- 4:17Speaker 1: what was going on here. It's rather obvious that Glenn
- 4:21Speaker 1: Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein weren't doing this on a whim.
- 4:27Speaker 1: This was planned out. This was plotted out. And we
- 4:30Speaker 1: go back to New Mexico once again because it's the
- 4:32Speaker 1: elephant in the room. He chose New Mexico for a reason.
- 4:37Speaker 1: He knew that he could take these girls there and
- 4:40Speaker 1: look at little penalty, little to no penalty, in fact,
- 4:43Speaker 1: for abusing them. Oh, well, 16's the age of consent.
- 4:47Speaker 1: They consented. Says you. And, of course, who was brought
- 4:56Speaker 1: to Zorro Ranch? Who was brought to the Manhattan townhouse?
- 4:58Speaker 1: Who was brought down to Palm Beach or the Virgin Islands?
- 5:03Speaker 1: Girls from broken homes, girls who were poor, and girls
- 5:07Speaker 1: that Maxwell and Epstein looked at as less than. And
- 5:11Speaker 1: that's just the fact of the situation. That's how they
- 5:13Speaker 1: looked at people, looked at us, everybody. But these girls specifically,
- 5:19Speaker 1: there were nothing more to them than a thing to
- 5:23Speaker 1: be traded, a commodity. And we all know that that's
- 5:27Speaker 1: not how things should be. No human being should ever
- 5:30Speaker 1: be put into any kind of servitude or thought that
- 5:33Speaker 1: they have to use their body to get by. It's
- 5:40Speaker 1: not how this is supposed to work. And then the
- 5:43Speaker 1: fact that this guy and Maxwell and the rest of
- 5:45Speaker 1: these scumbags got away with it for so long with
- 5:48Speaker 1: so many girls coming out and telling their story is
- 5:51Speaker 1: just beyond the pale. But when you look at the
- 5:55Speaker 1: overall picture here, and you look at the M.O. between
- 6:00Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell and their criminal enterprise, it was always
- 6:04Speaker 1: the same kind of girls who were targeted, poor and
- 6:08Speaker 1: from the other side of the tracks. This morning, we're
- 6:12Speaker 1: going to touch on an article from Financial Times that
- 6:16Speaker 1: kind of goes into this a little bit, and we're
- 6:20Speaker 1: going to see what they have to say about it.
- 6:38Speaker 1: This article was authored by Joshua Chauvin. On the eighth
- 6:45Speaker 1: day of the government's sex trafficking case against Ghislaine Maxwell,
- 6:49Speaker 1: a prosecutor asked a witness known as Sean what the
- 6:52Speaker 1: difference was between Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, two
- 6:55Speaker 1: Florida towns separated by a drawbridge. Money's no object over there,
- 7:00Speaker 1: said Sean, a West Palm Beach native, sounding as though
- 7:04Speaker 1: the nearby island were a different planet. Growing up, he
- 7:07Speaker 1: told the jury... He had very rarely even ventured into
- 7:10Speaker 1: Palm Beach because I didn't have enough money to buy
- 7:14Speaker 1: anything in the gas station. That changed, he said, when
- 7:18Speaker 1: he began ferrying his 14-year-old girlfriend to the island to
- 7:22Speaker 1: provide sexualized massages for Jeffrey Epstein. Soon, they were struggling
- 7:27Speaker 1: to find a store to change the bills in West
- 7:29Speaker 1: Palm Beach, where they don't accept $ 100 bills, Sean explained.
- 7:33Speaker 1: That's something you'll see in a lot of poorer neighborhoods
- 7:36Speaker 1: for sure. The fact that they're not going to accept
- 7:40Speaker 1: those $ 100 bills. You better come with something smaller for sure.
- 7:45Speaker 1: And according to Sean, he went from not being able
- 7:50Speaker 1: to afford anything in the gas station to having all
- 7:54Speaker 1: these $ 100 bills after bringing Carolyn, his girlfriend, over for
- 8:00Speaker 1: sexualized massages at Jeffrey Epstein's house. Classes threaded throughout the
- 8:09Speaker 1: Epstein story. Maxwell, an Oxford-educated product of fee-paying British public schools,
- 8:15Speaker 1: used hers to smooth the social path of the Coney
- 8:19Speaker 1: Island-born Epstein when they joined forces in the early 1990s Manhattan. Now,
- 8:25Speaker 1: class is present in Maxwell's criminal trial too. It loomed
- 8:29Speaker 1: as witnesses recounted over the last two weeks how a
- 8:32Speaker 1: tall British woman, with what one called a proper English accent,
- 8:37Speaker 1: lured them, when they were young and poor, into a
- 8:40Speaker 1: world beyond their imagination. So, you get the idea here
- 8:45Speaker 1: of where he's going in the article. And the fact
- 8:48Speaker 1: of the matter is, this is exactly what happened. Jeffrey
- 8:52Speaker 1: Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell chose these young girls from these
- 8:57Speaker 1: broken homes because they knew that they'd be able to
- 9:00Speaker 1: get away with it, or that it would be more
- 9:02Speaker 1: likely that they'd be able to get away with it. So,
- 9:07Speaker 1: They went on their spree. And you want to talk
- 9:10Speaker 1: about the early 90s, we can go back a little
- 9:12Speaker 1: bit earlier even. Jeffrey Epstein, look, this isn't something that
- 9:18Speaker 1: just happens overnight. You don't wake up one morning and
- 9:21Speaker 1: have a broken brain like this dude and think trafficking
- 9:25Speaker 1: little girls is a good idea. You came off the
- 9:29Speaker 1: assembly line fucked up. You're a lemon. There ain't no
- 9:32Speaker 1: fixing you. It doesn't matter what mechanic we bring you to.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Nobody's fixing you, bro. People like this need to be
- 9:40Speaker 1: put underneath the jail. The author goes on in the
- 9:47Speaker 1: article to say, it sounded practically like a Dickinson novel
- 9:54Speaker 1: when one of Maxwell's accusers described how Epstein had sent
- 9:57Speaker 1: a chauffeur-driven car to bring her and her mother across
- 10:00Speaker 1: the bridge for tea at his Palm Beach mansion. The
- 10:04Speaker 1: girl was 14 at the time, and her father had
- 10:06Speaker 1: died months earlier, bankrupting the family, she said. After offering
- 10:11Speaker 1: himself as her patron, Epstein would go on to abuse
- 10:14Speaker 1: the girl for years, she testified. Maxwell helped, she said,
- 10:18Speaker 1: by winning her confidence... and gradually pushing her boundaries. Maxwell
- 10:23Speaker 1: would help normalize all of it. That was her role.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Maxwell was the one to make these girls feel comfortable.
- 10:31Speaker 1: The one where, you know, if you're one of these girls,
- 10:34Speaker 1: you'd say to yourself, oh, this lady with this posh accent,
- 10:37Speaker 1: this is never going to happen to me. I'm never
- 10:41Speaker 1: going to get abused when I'm in the company of
- 10:44Speaker 1: somebody like Ghislaine Maxwell. And then all of that is
- 10:49Speaker 1: flipped on its head. Everything that these girls thought was
- 10:53Speaker 1: going to be the case turned out to be something
- 10:55Speaker 1: completely different. And then the whole, well, why do they
- 11:00Speaker 1: keep going back? You got to get deeper into the
- 11:03Speaker 1: nuance of it all, my friend. People who have that
- 11:06Speaker 1: kind of commentary don't really understand what goes on here
- 11:10Speaker 1: and the psyche behind all of it. There is so
- 11:16Speaker 1: much that goes on as far as the gaslighting, Stockholm Syndrome,
- 11:21Speaker 1: the grooming, the normalization of it all. It's just absurd
- 11:25Speaker 1: how much goes into it. But it's effective. When these
- 11:29Speaker 1: people get their hooks into somebody, it's almost impossible to
- 11:32Speaker 1: get them out. When you normalize this kind of weird-ass,
- 11:37Speaker 1: weirdo behavior, when kids are young and their brains are
- 11:41Speaker 1: still developing... It's a whole lot easier to get them involved,
- 11:44Speaker 1: to have them as part of the operation, right? Send
- 11:48Speaker 1: them out to bring in other girls because you've normalized
- 11:51Speaker 1: it to them. So in their brains, they say, well,
- 11:53Speaker 1: this is normal behavior. Maybe my friends want to make
- 11:55Speaker 1: some money. And it goes on and on and on.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And remember, it couldn't have happened if it was just Epstein,
- 12:03Speaker 1: some creepy ass old looking weirdo. He had to have
- 12:06Speaker 1: all of these other moving parts, the Ghislaine Maxwells, the
- 12:10Speaker 1: Sarah Kellen Vickers, the Leslie Groffs, the Adriana Rosses. When
- 12:17Speaker 1: you look at Nadia Marchenkova, her situation, her being given
- 12:22Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein as a 15-year-old to be groomed and
- 12:25Speaker 1: molded to what he wants, that's a whole different kind
- 12:28Speaker 1: of disgusting, draconian sadness. But Epstein couldn't have done this
- 12:35Speaker 1: in a vacuum. He couldn't have done this without the
- 12:37Speaker 1: help of somebody like Ghislaine Maxwell. The article goes on
- 12:44Speaker 1: to say Maxwell denies this and other suggestions of wrongdoing.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Her attorneys insist she has been made a scapegoat for
- 12:51Speaker 1: the sins of Epstein, who died by suicide, allegedly, in
- 12:54Speaker 1: a New York prison cell a month after he was
- 12:57Speaker 1: arrested in 2019. So that is the premise for her defense.
- 13:02Speaker 1: There's no doubt about it. Let's try and destroy the
- 13:05Speaker 1: credibility of the survivors and accusers. And let's make sure
- 13:10Speaker 1: we pin this all on Epstein because there's no way
- 13:13Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell could have been involved in this, right? No
- 13:16Speaker 1: way at all. But yet here we are once again
- 13:21Speaker 1: with another story about Ghislaine Maxwell, with more witness testimony
- 13:27Speaker 1: about Ghislaine Maxwell. And while it is a Not unexpected
- 13:34Speaker 1: move on the part of the defense to try and
- 13:36Speaker 1: make it all about Epstein. The fact of the matter
- 13:39Speaker 1: is this. Ghislaine Maxwell was present. Ghislaine Maxwell was actively participating,
- 13:46Speaker 1: according to the allegations. And this is not about Jeffrey Epstein.
- 13:50Speaker 1: This is about Ghislaine Maxwell. They have also tried to
- 14:00Speaker 1: use class to their advantage during the trial. In her
- 14:02Speaker 1: opening statement, attorney Bobby Sternum claimed the accusers were money
- 14:06Speaker 1: grabbers who had twisted the truth in hopes of financial jackpot.
- 14:11Speaker 1: It was reminiscent of political strategist James Carville dismissing former
- 14:15Speaker 1: President Clinton sexual accusers in 1994 by remarking, Yeah, remember that,
- 14:19Speaker 1: James Carville? Mr. Big Time, Big Shot over there under
- 14:31Speaker 1: the umbrella. That's how they feel about you. All of them.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton. They don't think they care about you.
- 14:39Speaker 1: They think that if they drag a $ 100 bill through
- 14:41Speaker 1: a trailer park, that maybe, you know, one of your
- 14:44Speaker 1: family members will bite. Maybe they can bring one of
- 14:46Speaker 1: your family members into the fold. Bunch of sick bastards
- 14:50Speaker 1: with comments like that. And still, somebody who's running around
- 14:54Speaker 1: on TV, right? Where's his cancel culture moment? Yeah. Yeah.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Don't worry, I won't hold my breath either. It is
- 15:02Speaker 1: not clear whether class issues will sway the jury of
- 15:05Speaker 1: mostly working class New Yorkers who will decide the fate
- 15:08Speaker 1: of a British socialite or, you know, co-conspirator, general all-around scuzzbag,
- 15:13Speaker 1: fellow child abuser, and bipedal serpent. Throughout the trial, prosecutors
- 15:18Speaker 1: have shown them photos of Epstein's private jets and opulent
- 15:22Speaker 1: properties in New York, New Mexico, the Caribbean, and Palm
- 15:26Speaker 1: Beach where the bathroom had a sofa. Oh, well, bathroom
- 15:30Speaker 1: had a sofa, so there's that. As a gossip columnist
- 15:34Speaker 1: in Palm Beach, Jose Lambiet developed a jaded view about
- 15:38Speaker 1: the divide between Palm Beach, a manicured bunker of old money,
- 15:42Speaker 1: and West Palm Beach, a place that was originally built
- 15:45Speaker 1: to house the help and long suffered from a reputation
- 15:49Speaker 1: of drugs and violence. Well, that's how it always goes, right?
- 15:56Speaker 1: You build the shantytown for the hired help And then,
- 15:59Speaker 1: you know, let's treat them like shit. Let them live
- 16:02Speaker 1: in weeklies, whatever it may be. But as long as
- 16:06Speaker 1: the stench isn't permeating over there into Palm Beach, where
- 16:13Speaker 1: you got all that beautiful money, right? Where people like
- 16:15Speaker 1: Trump and Epstein are hanging out. Can't have it over there.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Keep that shit six miles away. No gentrification projects. None
- 16:24Speaker 1: of these big shot loudmouths who live in the area
- 16:26Speaker 1: stepping up to help the community. Like usual, just take, take, take,
- 16:32Speaker 1: and take. And at the same time, if we abuse
- 16:36Speaker 1: some poor kids along the way, who gives a fuck? Well,
- 16:39Speaker 1: breaking news, you disgusting assholes. We all do. The story
- 16:47Speaker 1: here in my book is how the rich have once
- 16:49Speaker 1: again found a way to screw the poor. Lambiet, who
- 16:52Speaker 1: now works as a private detective, said of the Epstein case,
- 16:56Speaker 1: These girls were from five or six miles away, as
- 16:58Speaker 1: the crow flies, where the houses are worth $ 50, 000 or $ 60, 000.
- 17:03Speaker 1: That's how much one of these people, Jeffrey Epstein and
- 17:05Speaker 1: his friends, watches cost. Whole house for $ 60, 000? It shows
- 17:11Speaker 1: you the sort of destitution, the poverty that was present
- 17:17Speaker 1: in the area and in the neighborhood where Epstein and
- 17:20Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell went. And West Palm Beach, just across the
- 17:24Speaker 1: intracoastal waterway from Palm Beach, has changed as the region
- 17:28Speaker 1: has prospered. It has caught some of the spillover as
- 17:31Speaker 1: billionaires have pushed millionaires off Palm Beach Island. It is
- 17:35Speaker 1: now becoming a hub for hedge funds fleeing New York
- 17:38Speaker 1: to take advantage of Florida's low taxes. Goldman Sachs is
- 17:42Speaker 1: just leased space. So now what will happen is these... scumbags,
- 17:47Speaker 1: hedge funders, and the rest will come in and they'll
- 17:49Speaker 1: eat up all the property. It'll shoot up property prices
- 17:53Speaker 1: and values. There'll be no gentrification and they'll simply reap
- 17:57Speaker 1: the benefits of the tax structure of Florida. We're seeing
- 18:01Speaker 1: it here in East Las Vegas as we speak. The
- 18:04Speaker 1: idea is, if you're going to come into one of
- 18:06Speaker 1: these areas, you have to gentrify it with your billions
- 18:09Speaker 1: of dollars. You're catching all kinds of breaks on the
- 18:12Speaker 1: tax end, and here you are just stuffing money in
- 18:15Speaker 1: your pockets like the robber barons you are. It is absurd. Still,
- 18:23Speaker 1: downbeat pockets remain, as they do in other towns in
- 18:25Speaker 1: the vicinity, such as Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee, from
- 18:30Speaker 1: which many of Epstein's survivors hailed. I've never seen a
- 18:33Speaker 1: divide quite like the one in Palm Beach County, said
- 18:36Speaker 1: Jonathan Beaton, who worked as a television reporter in the
- 18:39Speaker 1: area for many years. You can go from heaven to
- 18:41Speaker 1: hell in 15 miles. Look, I got to tell you,
- 18:46Speaker 1: that's pretty much par for the course here in Las
- 18:48Speaker 1: Vegas too, like I said in the opening. You can
- 18:52Speaker 1: go in Las Vegas, you can be in one neighborhood
- 18:54Speaker 1: where there are literally 10, $ 20 million homes, and a
- 18:58Speaker 1: mile away, there'll be a homeless camp. But these people
- 19:02Speaker 1: are insulated from it, right? They're living in their communities,
- 19:06Speaker 1: their gated communities with guards, no access, the whole nine,
- 19:10Speaker 1: while the rest of us are just left to suffer.
- 19:15Speaker 1: You can also find resentment. When he testified last week,
- 19:19Speaker 1: Juan Alessi was still bitter from his dozen years as
- 19:22Speaker 1: Epstein's Palm Beach property manager. It was slavery, he said. So, yeah,
- 19:27Speaker 1: wouldn't you resent that as well? If you were you know,
- 19:31Speaker 1: working to the bone by Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell, and
- 19:34Speaker 1: they're not giving you the proper compensation? Now, don't get
- 19:37Speaker 1: it twisted. I'm not a fan of Juan Alessi. I've
- 19:39Speaker 1: told you guys that from Jump Street. If this man
- 19:42Speaker 1: was really about it, he would have stepped up to
- 19:43Speaker 1: the plate back in the day and tried to stop
- 19:46Speaker 1: this shit, but he didn't, like the rest of these scoundrels. So,
- 19:50Speaker 1: he'll never be a good guy as far as I'm concerned.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Maxwell called them John and instituted house rules that he
- 20:00Speaker 1: found degrading. One example, Maxwell forbade him and staff for
- 20:04Speaker 1: making eye contact with Epstein. I don't know why you'd
- 20:07Speaker 1: want to make eye contact with Epstein anyway. Tell you
- 20:10Speaker 1: the truth, gross-ass, ugly son of a bitch. She later
- 20:13Speaker 1: reprimanded Alessi in an email to another staffer for doing
- 20:17Speaker 1: a truly awful job. After he had allegedly failed to
- 20:20Speaker 1: stock pens and bottled water in the Black Merc. That is,
- 20:24Speaker 1: the Mercedes. So, stop the press, folks. There's no water
- 20:29Speaker 1: and there's no pens in the Black Mercedes. Well... I
- 20:34Speaker 1: wonder if he remembered the Grey Poupon. Alessi took his
- 20:40Speaker 1: revenge after he quit, returning to the house in 2003
- 20:44Speaker 1: and swiping $ 6, 300 in cash from Epstein. He even admitted
- 20:48Speaker 1: under cross-examination. Well, what's he going to do, lie? I
- 20:52Speaker 1: think that that's kind of going to backfire on the prosecution.
- 20:56Speaker 1: I mean, the defense as well. There's no such thing
- 21:00Speaker 1: as a perfect witness, right? And Alessi being somebody who
- 21:03Speaker 1: is obviously a pretty scummy, it shouldn't take away from
- 21:09Speaker 1: the fact of the testimony as far as what he's seen. Now,
- 21:13Speaker 1: certainly it comes down to credibility and reliability and what
- 21:17Speaker 1: the jurors are going to feel and believe. So that
- 21:20Speaker 1: certainly comes into play. But there's no such thing as
- 21:23Speaker 1: a perfect witness, right? All my life, I worked very
- 21:27Speaker 1: hard and saved a lot of money, including the time
- 21:30Speaker 1: I worked for Mr. Epstein, he said, attempting to defend
- 21:32Speaker 1: his honor. At times, the social gap between Maxwell, daughter
- 21:37Speaker 1: of the late British press baron and embezzler, Robert Maxwell,
- 21:41Speaker 1: and her accusers has seemed unimaginably vast. Again, here's another
- 21:46Speaker 1: question to ask yourself. What's Maxwell doing hanging out with
- 21:49Speaker 1: all of these girls anyway? All right, let's say in
- 21:52Speaker 1: a perfect world, there wasn't all of this evidence against her.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Why are you hanging out with girls from downtrodden backgrounds,
- 22:01Speaker 1: girls that are from broken homes, and girls that are
- 22:04Speaker 1: literally 14 and 15 years old? What possible excuse can
- 22:08Speaker 1: you have for that? You don't think the prosecution should
- 22:11Speaker 1: ask something like that? It's just, you know, when we
- 22:15Speaker 1: look back at this and we take a look in hindsight,
- 22:19Speaker 1: I think we're going to see so many missed opportunities
- 22:22Speaker 1: by prosecutions. While Maxwell flew on the Concorde, was friends
- 22:28Speaker 1: with Britain's Prince Andrew, and attended Chelsea Clinton's wedding, one
- 22:32Speaker 1: of her accusers, Carolyn, dropped out of middle school in
- 22:35Speaker 1: West Palm Beach at 13 and began dating Sean, then 17,
- 22:40Speaker 1: who lived across the street. Carolyn had been molested by
- 22:43Speaker 1: her grandfather, she told the jury, and her mother was
- 22:46Speaker 1: an alcoholic and a drug addict. Now, add to that
- 22:52Speaker 1: what Maxwell and Epstein did to her. And you have
- 22:57Speaker 1: the perfect storm. Now for Maxwell's lawyers to go after
- 23:00Speaker 1: her the way they did. And try and make her
- 23:02Speaker 1: feel like she was a piece of shit. Reprehensible in
- 23:06Speaker 1: my opinion. Of course that's their job. I get it.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Doesn't mean I can't find it reprehensible. Because I do.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Because I'm an idiot. She quipped. With a kind of
- 23:18Speaker 1: lower class fatalism when asked by a prosecutor to explain
- 23:22Speaker 1: why she was arrested in 2011 for cocaine possession. Drive
- 23:26Speaker 1: around and smoke pot is how Sean described their relationship.
- 23:29Speaker 1: So because somebody smokes pot, by the way, that makes
- 23:32Speaker 1: them a bad person or a liar or somebody who
- 23:35Speaker 1: is unreliable. It's a ridiculous line, right? and the whole
- 23:42Speaker 1: bringing up the drugs and all of that, it just,
- 23:45Speaker 1: it goes right back to their whole entire game plan
- 23:48Speaker 1: and their book of tricks from the original prosecution. Carolyn
- 23:56Speaker 1: was brought to Epstein by another local teenager, Virginia Roberts,
- 23:59Speaker 1: whose father worked in maintenance at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club
- 24:04Speaker 1: on Palm Beach. I was young, and $ 300 was a
- 24:07Speaker 1: lot of money to me. Carolyn said of Robert's offer
- 24:10Speaker 1: to earn some cash by helping her massage a rich
- 24:12Speaker 1: man in Palm Beach for an hour. Now remember, we're
- 24:15Speaker 1: talking about two little girls, okay? The pyramid scheme of
- 24:19Speaker 1: human beings that Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell was running, they'd
- 24:22Speaker 1: bring in one girl, in this instance it was Virginia,
- 24:25Speaker 1: they'd groom her, normalize her, and then send her out
- 24:27Speaker 1: to bring in more friends. Now mind you, these girls
- 24:30Speaker 1: are all little girls when they're doing this. And that
- 24:36Speaker 1: was how they had this pyramid scheme running, especially in
- 24:38Speaker 1: Palm Beach, for years. And even when somebody ratted them out,
- 24:43Speaker 1: even when one of these girls went to the authorities,
- 24:46Speaker 1: all Epstein got was the minor slap on the wrist
- 24:50Speaker 1: he ended up with. The first time she went to
- 24:56Speaker 1: Epstein's house, Carolyn testified, she was greeted by a woman
- 24:59Speaker 1: with an English accent who would arrange some of the
- 25:01Speaker 1: 100 or so sexualized massages she would give Epstein over
- 25:05Speaker 1: the next two years. She ended up calling her Maxwell,
- 25:08Speaker 1: Carolyn said. Why, the prosecutor asked. Because I couldn't exactly
- 25:12Speaker 1: pronounce her first name correctly. Yeah, you and everybody else.
- 25:16Speaker 1: When this all first started, I couldn't pronounce her name
- 25:18Speaker 1: correctly either. Then again, I'm terrible at pronouncing names. I
- 25:22Speaker 1: speak New York Italian, so sometimes the pronunciation is a
- 25:26Speaker 1: little bit off, shall we say. Carolyn went on to
- 25:29Speaker 1: become a drug addict, a prostitute, and a single mother.
- 25:32Speaker 1: In court last week, she was face-to-face with Maxwell, who
- 25:35Speaker 1: sat just across from her. At one point, she railed
- 25:38Speaker 1: at her, you broke my soul. Gut-wrenching, folks. It really
- 25:43Speaker 1: is gut-wrenching and horrible, all of it. It makes me sad.
- 25:50Speaker 1: And the fact that it's the most vulnerable amongst us
- 25:52Speaker 1: every single time you turn around is just another reason
- 25:57Speaker 1: to want to see these people brought to justice. Now,
- 26:01Speaker 1: will they be? That's the definite question we're all asking.
- 26:06Speaker 1: We'll have to see what kind of defense Maxwell and
- 26:08Speaker 1: her team brings to the table starting Thursday. And if
- 26:12Speaker 1: they bring all 35 of those alleged witnesses to the box.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Another thing that I doubt is going to happen, but
- 26:20Speaker 1: we have to discuss, is will Maxwell take the stand herself?
- 26:25Speaker 1: Very interesting question, no doubt about it. As you can see,
- 26:30Speaker 1: I uploaded a couple of episodes for some context, a
- 26:34Speaker 1: Scott Borgerson episode, some other stuff, and I'll continue to
- 26:38Speaker 1: do that throughout the day today, same schedule as we've
- 26:40Speaker 1: been on. And tonight, I'll be back with a morning,
- 26:44Speaker 1: I mean, the evening wrap-up. And we'll see where we're
- 26:47Speaker 1: at and what we should expect come tomorrow. But for now, folks,
- 26:51Speaker 1: that's going to do it. And if you'd like to
- 26:54Speaker 1: contact me, you can do that at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com.
- 26:58Speaker 1: That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com. You can also find me on
- 27:06Speaker 1: Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I. The link that we discussed
- 27:13Speaker 1: can be found in the description box. This article from
- 27:16Speaker 1: the Daily Mail. And let's see what Daniel Bates has
- 27:20Speaker 1: to say about the co-conspirators, the core four, turning snitch. Exclusive.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's alleged co-conspirators, including recruiters, sexual partners, and friends,
- 27:36Speaker 1: are set to turn against Ghislaine Maxwell... And testify in
- 27:40Speaker 1: her trial later this year. We all knew it was coming.
- 27:45Speaker 1: We all knew it was coming. Nobody's willing to go
- 27:48Speaker 1: down with this shit. The second Epstein died and that
- 27:52Speaker 1: money ran out. The party was over. These people aren't loyal.
- 27:58Speaker 1: What do you think? These are the Praetorian Guard? These
- 28:01Speaker 1: aren't loyal people. These are people that were around Jeffrey Epstein.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Because he had money. He had power. He had influence.
- 28:09Speaker 1: And if it meant helping him abuse, rape, and traffic children,
- 28:14Speaker 1: so be it, as long as they were advancing in
- 28:18Speaker 1: their pathetic lives and their pathetic careers. Some of Jeffrey
- 28:26Speaker 1: Epstein's alleged co-conspirators are set to testify against Ghislaine Maxwell
- 28:31Speaker 1: in her trial later this year, court documents suggest. And
- 28:36Speaker 1: they definitely do. The new... filings, when you read through them, folks,
- 28:44Speaker 1: it's pretty apparent what's coming down the pipe. Now, obviously,
- 28:48Speaker 1: I am certainly not a lawyer. But when you look
- 28:53Speaker 1: at the wording and the things that are talked about
- 28:58Speaker 1: in the briefings, it's pretty obvious what's coming down the pipe.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Prosecutors said in a filing that the material for the
- 29:06Speaker 1: trial includes... any co-conspirator statements, a major sign that one
- 29:10Speaker 1: of Epstein's inner circle has turned state's witness. And it
- 29:14Speaker 1: could be more than one person. It could be multiple people.
- 29:17Speaker 1: We don't know. We have no idea. But I always
- 29:22Speaker 1: was under the impression that there were more sealed indictments
- 29:26Speaker 1: that were just waiting to be unsealed in this case.
- 29:29Speaker 1: That's how it works usually. So what they'll do is
- 29:32Speaker 1: they'll get that sealed indictment returned from the grand jury.
- 29:35Speaker 1: And then they'll hold that sealed indictment over the alleged
- 29:40Speaker 1: criminal's head so we got this sealed indictment you're going
- 29:44Speaker 1: to trial we're going to take you to trial we're
- 29:47Speaker 1: going to charge you we're going to indict you but
- 29:50Speaker 1: if you play ball if you snitch on your friend
- 29:54Speaker 1: if you talk to us about Maxwell and what occurred
- 29:57Speaker 1: we might be able to soften the blow a little
- 29:59Speaker 1: bit And that's certainly what's going on here. That's certainly
- 30:04Speaker 1: what's been going on here from the beginning. And all
- 30:08Speaker 1: of these co-conspirators, all of these friends, all of these enablers,
- 30:15Speaker 1: they all should be waiting for that phone call at
- 30:17Speaker 1: this point. Prosecutors said that nine weeks before the trial,
- 30:24Speaker 1: which is set to begin in November, they would turn
- 30:26Speaker 1: over to the defense the identity of any unindicted co-conspirator
- 30:31Speaker 1: They plan to call to give evidence. So the identity
- 30:37Speaker 1: of any unindicted co-conspirator, that's pretty interesting. So perhaps somebody
- 30:44Speaker 1: who was not indicted, they're going to be calling up
- 30:47Speaker 1: as a witness as well. Pretty interesting. Now, again, we
- 30:52Speaker 1: have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. All
- 30:56Speaker 1: we know is what the prosecution tells us. And we
- 30:59Speaker 1: have to try and fit the pieces together in lieu
- 31:02Speaker 1: of that. So I think one thing that is most
- 31:07Speaker 1: certain is that somebody is snitching, somebody is talking, and
- 31:13Speaker 1: probably multiple people. A separate filing from Maxwell seeking dismissal
- 31:20Speaker 1: of the case says that one accuser was encouraged to
- 31:23Speaker 1: recruit other females to provide massages to Epstein. The filings
- 31:28Speaker 1: strongly indicate that some of the four women who were
- 31:31Speaker 1: named as potential co-conspirators under Epstein's sweetheart plea deal in 2008,
- 31:36Speaker 1: under which he served just 15 months in jail for
- 31:39Speaker 1: having sex with children, could face off against Maxwell in court. Now,
- 31:44Speaker 1: while I think that's a good thing, right? I want
- 31:47Speaker 1: them all to provide evidence against her and be state's witnesses.
- 31:52Speaker 1: I don't want to see them get off because of this.
- 31:55Speaker 1: That certainly cannot be a road traveled, right? You can't
- 31:59Speaker 1: let these co-conspirators off. They played a huge part in
- 32:02Speaker 1: this criminal conspiracy. So even if they're offering up information
- 32:07Speaker 1: on Ghislaine, which is great, is that information what is
- 32:11Speaker 1: really needed to get over the finish line? I know
- 32:15Speaker 1: it helps, right? But if it was me as a prosecutor,
- 32:19Speaker 1: I don't know if I'd give up indicting and convicting
- 32:23Speaker 1: and going after the co-conspirators... just to get Maxwell, considering
- 32:28Speaker 1: we have so much evidence of Maxwell's involvement already. So
- 32:33Speaker 1: I really, really, really wonder what the prosecutor's game plan
- 32:37Speaker 1: is here. The women in question have been accused of
- 32:43Speaker 1: being Epstein's recruiters, groomers, sexual partners, and friends, and have
- 32:48Speaker 1: almost always pleaded the Fifth Amendment when questioned during depositions.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And we've been through the core four, at this point
- 32:58Speaker 1: none of them have ever talked none of them have
- 33:00Speaker 1: ever come forward and spoke on the record about what
- 33:03Speaker 1: they know about Epstein none of them came forward to
- 33:06Speaker 1: help with the investigation after the first time around and
- 33:10Speaker 1: all of them were protected by the non-prosecution agreement if
- 33:15Speaker 1: they had nothing to do with it if they really
- 33:18Speaker 1: cared about these kids and they cared about justice don't
- 33:21Speaker 1: you think they would have come forward and said look
- 33:25Speaker 1: This is what happened. A, B, C, and D. But
- 33:28Speaker 1: none of them did that. So because that happened and
- 33:30Speaker 1: because none of them came forward, none of them had
- 33:33Speaker 1: even a glimmer of courage, I have no empathy for them.
- 33:36Speaker 1: And I certainly don't believe the position that people have
- 33:41Speaker 1: taken that, oh, well, these people are victims too. Nope,
- 33:45Speaker 1: I don't buy it. Sorry. That is just never going
- 33:48Speaker 1: to work for me. They are Sarah Kellan, 40, who
- 33:53Speaker 1: is accused of holding a Rolodex of women she would
- 33:56Speaker 1: call up for massages at Epstein's mansion in Palm Beach, Florida.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Leslie Groff, 53, is said to have been Epstein's executive
- 34:03Speaker 1: assistant for 20 years and said in a 2005 interview
- 34:08Speaker 1: that she had such a tight bond with him. I
- 34:10Speaker 1: know what he is thinking. So she had such a
- 34:13Speaker 1: tight bond with him, Leslie Groff, that she knew what
- 34:16Speaker 1: he was thinking. But she didn't know he was hurting
- 34:19Speaker 1: kids or molesting kids or trafficking kids or anything like that.
- 34:22Speaker 1: No idea about that. They shared a brain, though, he said.
- 34:26Speaker 1: In fact, she was so integral to everything he had
- 34:28Speaker 1: going on that when she was pregnant and leaving for
- 34:32Speaker 1: her maternity leave, Epstein didn't know what he was going
- 34:35Speaker 1: to do with himself. He was besides himself. So for
- 34:39Speaker 1: Leslie Groff to try and plead ignorance about what happened
- 34:44Speaker 1: is an absolute joke. An absolute joke. And Sarah Kellen Vickers,
- 34:51Speaker 1: she's probably the one spilling the beans, folks. That would
- 34:54Speaker 1: be my guess. I don't have any, you know, inside information, obviously.
- 34:58Speaker 1: But out of all of these women, it looks like
- 35:00Speaker 1: Sarah Kellen Vickers is probably the likeliest to be spilling
- 35:05Speaker 1: the beans right now. And again, it might be multiple.
- 35:08Speaker 1: It might be all of them. It really just depends
- 35:11Speaker 1: on what the government was holding over their heads as
- 35:14Speaker 1: far as leverage. And really, that's what it really comes
- 35:17Speaker 1: down to. What kind of leverage does the federal government
- 35:21Speaker 1: have on them to force them to become state's witness?
- 35:28Speaker 1: Nadia Marcinko, 35, is alleged to have taken part in
- 35:31Speaker 1: sexual encounters with underage girls and has been described as
- 35:35Speaker 1: Epstein's on-and-off girlfriend. Now, remember Nadia allegedly was purchased from
- 35:40Speaker 1: her parents in Yugoslavia at 15 years old? And brought
- 35:45Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein. To groom. And make into. She's disgusting
- 35:51Speaker 1: even to say it. Into what he wanted her to be.
- 35:55Speaker 1: So out of all of these girls. Nadia is the
- 35:57Speaker 1: only one in my opinion. That deserves a double take.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Some serious time to consider. Her circumstances previously. To being
- 36:05Speaker 1: in Jeffrey Epstein's atmosphere. I think that that's pretty important.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Part of the story with Nadia. Now that doesn't mean that.
- 36:13Speaker 1: She shouldn't be brought in, talked to. And if there
- 36:21Speaker 1: are some charges that she gets hit with, then that's
- 36:23Speaker 1: unfortunately part of it. But I definitely have empathy for her.
- 36:28Speaker 1: And I think that of all of these core four,
- 36:31Speaker 1: she is the only one that you can look at
- 36:33Speaker 1: and say, man, her circumstances are pretty, pretty rough. Adriana
- 36:39Speaker 1: Ross is a former model from Poland. in her 30s,
- 36:43Speaker 1: who allegedly helped to organize Epstein's massages. In a court
- 36:47Speaker 1: filing late on Friday night, prosecutors in Maxwell's defense submitted
- 36:51Speaker 1: competing timetables and logistics for the trial. Now that's going
- 36:55Speaker 1: to happen for sure, right? There's going to be back
- 36:58Speaker 1: and forth between the prosecutors and the defense, and they're
- 37:03Speaker 1: going to try and jockey for the best position in
- 37:07Speaker 1: regards to their case. Prosecutors from the Southern District of
- 37:13Speaker 1: New York said the materials during the trial will include
- 37:17Speaker 1: testifying witness statements, which themselves will also include any co-conspirator
- 37:22Speaker 1: statements about which witnesses may testify at trial. So, again,
- 37:29Speaker 1: it's definitely coming down the pipe. There's going to be
- 37:32Speaker 1: co-conspirators testifying against Ghislaine Maxwell. That's a foregone conclusion at
- 37:38Speaker 1: this point. The question is, who is Is it going
- 37:41Speaker 1: to be? Is it going to be just one of them?
- 37:44Speaker 1: Is it going to be all of them? Very interesting
- 37:47Speaker 1: stuff coming up folks. But I will tell you this.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I can't even begin to imagine. The scene inside of
- 37:53Speaker 1: that courtroom. When this prosecutor said. That they only intend
- 37:56Speaker 1: to introduce. Co-conspirator statements. Either through the testimony of witnesses.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Or in the exhibits. Which will be marked before trial. So.
- 38:06Speaker 1: There's going to be some fireworks here. There's going to
- 38:09Speaker 1: be some. Some people turning on Ghislaine Maxwell. We're going
- 38:15Speaker 1: to see it. That's how it always works, right? It's
- 38:19Speaker 1: a dog-eat-dog world. And there ain't no honor amongst thieves.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Under the proposed prosecution timeline, they will hand over to
- 38:32Speaker 1: the defense the government's witness list, any co-conspirator statements it
- 38:36Speaker 1: intends to introduce at trial, and the identity of any
- 38:39Speaker 1: unindicted co-conspirator on September 27th, nine weeks before trial. So
- 38:46Speaker 1: that still gives them time for indictments as well. Remember,
- 38:50Speaker 1: we're not out of the woods for any kind of
- 38:53Speaker 1: superseded indictment here, or more charges dropped on other people
- 38:58Speaker 1: in regards to this case. That's still certainly something that
- 39:01Speaker 1: is in the cards. The material will include documentary statements
- 39:06Speaker 1: about co-conspirators, e.g. emails, between Epstein and any number of
- 39:11Speaker 1: thousands of persons, the government said. The few emails that
- 39:15Speaker 1: have been made public in relation to Epstein are have
- 39:18Speaker 1: emerged from a defamation case brought by Epstein survivor Virginia
- 39:22Speaker 1: Roberts against Maxwell. So, there's going to be a ton
- 39:28Speaker 1: more coming out, folks. And remember Preska is still. Unsealing
- 39:33Speaker 1: documents as well. So as this trial gets closer. Looking
- 39:38Speaker 1: like September here. For some more of these document dumps.
- 39:43Speaker 1: And for some more clarity. We'll have a better idea.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Of the playing field at that point. The case was settled,
- 39:53Speaker 1: but a federal judge has ruled that the documents should
- 39:55Speaker 1: be made public, and they are being released in batches.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Among the emails was one from Epstein to Maxwell on
- 40:02Speaker 1: January 24, 2015, after Roberts accused her of recruiting and
- 40:07Speaker 1: grooming her for Epstein to abuse. Epstein tells Maxwell, you
- 40:12Speaker 1: have done nothing wrong, and I would urge you to
- 40:14Speaker 1: start acting like it. Go outside, head high, not as
- 40:18Speaker 1: an escaping convict. Go to parties, deal with it. I mean,
- 40:23Speaker 1: what sage advice from Jeffrey Epstein, huh? Yeah, just go
- 40:26Speaker 1: out and deal with it. Go to parties. Go hang out.
- 40:29Speaker 1: The sad part is, she would be accepted to these parties.
- 40:33Speaker 1: She'd be allowed at these parties. Everybody would be welcoming
- 40:36Speaker 1: at these parties. Hey, Jeff Bezos, why was Ghislaine Maxwell
- 40:41Speaker 1: at your little function in 2018? Maxwell's correspondence with Prince
- 40:48Speaker 1: Andrew also made public and shows him asking about Roberts.
- 40:52Speaker 1: If the alleged co-conspirators do give evidence, it promises to
- 40:56Speaker 1: be one of the most dramatic moments at Maxwell's trial. 100%.
- 41:01Speaker 1: It'll be a holy shit moment. You know, there's like
- 41:05Speaker 1: those pivotal moments in trials or throughout history when, you know,
- 41:09Speaker 1: momentous occasions are occurring. This will be one of those
- 41:12Speaker 1: oh shit moments. Kellen has been accused of being Epstein
- 41:17Speaker 1: and Maxwell's top lieutenants. She flew 350 times on Epstein's
- 41:22Speaker 1: private jet, known as the Lolita Express, and has been
- 41:25Speaker 1: seen in photographs on his private island in the Caribbean. Again, folks, look,
- 41:29Speaker 1: Sarah Kellen Vickers should have been arrested yesterday. Yesterday. But somehow,
- 41:36Speaker 1: she's still floating around, huh? Perhaps, though, she's not. Perhaps
- 41:42Speaker 1: they are speaking to her behind the scenes, and perhaps
- 41:45Speaker 1: she is going to be the one sitting across from
- 41:47Speaker 1: Maxwell giving testimony. Epstein survivor Sarah Ransom has said that
- 41:55Speaker 1: it was Ghislaine and Sarah Kellen that showed me how
- 41:57Speaker 1: to please Jeffrey. Right there alone is enough. Bring her in.
- 42:01Speaker 1: What are we waiting for, Maureen Comey? I mean, look.
- 42:08Speaker 1: When you have these survivors saying that these people took
- 42:10Speaker 1: direct part in abusing them, I think that levels it
- 42:15Speaker 1: up a bit, right? I think that should be taken very,
- 42:17Speaker 1: very seriously. But somehow, for all of these years, it's
- 42:22Speaker 1: like backburner shit. Kellen is now married to NASCAR driver
- 42:29Speaker 1: Brian Vickers and has rebranded herself as an interior designer
- 42:33Speaker 1: under the name Sarah Kensington. Her apartment looks like shit.
- 42:37Speaker 1: I mean, an interior decorator. That's her new gig. Imagine
- 42:45Speaker 1: hiring her for a gig to come and decorate your apartment.
- 42:48Speaker 1: And then finding out who she is. Absolutely disturbing to think.
- 42:55Speaker 1: You have some children or whatever. And this disgusting monster.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Who is recruiting and grooming girls. According to the survivors
- 43:03Speaker 1: and court documents. Is in your home. Telling you how
- 43:07Speaker 1: you should display your pillows on your couch. Oh yeah.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Sign me up. When approached by reporters outside her home
- 43:17Speaker 1: in New York's Lower East Side last December, Kellen said,
- 43:21Speaker 1: I'm no monster. I'm a victim of Jeffrey Epstein. I
- 43:24Speaker 1: was raped and abused weekly. Oh, well, why didn't you
- 43:28Speaker 1: go to the police after his first arrest? Why did
- 43:31Speaker 1: you continue to visit him? Why did you continue to
- 43:33Speaker 1: go to his house? It's absurd that anyone would believe
- 43:41Speaker 1: this nonsense from her. Marcinko's personal story is disturbing and
- 43:47Speaker 1: Epstein once bragged she was his sex slave who he
- 43:50Speaker 1: had bought from her family in former Yugoslavia when she
- 43:53Speaker 1: was 15. Again, that situation, Nadia Marcinko situation, very, very disturbing. Very,
- 44:03Speaker 1: very disheartening and very sad. So of all of these co-conspirators,
- 44:09Speaker 1: all of these core fours, She's the only one that
- 44:12Speaker 1: I have even a fingertips worth of empathy for. She
- 44:18Speaker 1: reinvented herself as a pilot who ran a company called Avaloop,
- 44:21Speaker 1: selling discount flying lessons under the name Global Girl. Groff
- 44:26Speaker 1: was Epstein's personal assistant in New York, and Ransom has
- 44:30Speaker 1: claimed that she spoke directly to her, including once emailing
- 44:34Speaker 1: that Epstein requested that she lose weight to maintain her
- 44:38Speaker 1: slim figure. And Groff's another one who tries to act
- 44:41Speaker 1: like she had no involvement in this. She didn't know
- 44:43Speaker 1: what was going on. You were with Epstein from the jump, lady.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Nobody wants to hear it, okay? If you're going to
- 44:49Speaker 1: open your mouth, all we want to hear is about
- 44:52Speaker 1: the crimes that were committed. Ross moved to Florida in
- 45:02Speaker 1: 2002 and worked at Epstein's mansion in Palm Beach and
- 45:05Speaker 1: flew frequently on his private jet, including with Bill Clinton. Now,
- 45:10Speaker 1: aged in her 30s, she broke down in tears and
- 45:12Speaker 1: declined comment when approached for comment outside a Catholic church
- 45:16Speaker 1: close to her home in Miami in 2019. Wah! I
- 45:22Speaker 1: don't care. I'm not sad for you. I have no
- 45:24Speaker 1: empathy for you, just like you had no empathy for
- 45:26Speaker 1: these children. Another person who could give evidence against Maxwell
- 45:32Speaker 1: is Haley Robson, who features heavily in the reports from
- 45:35Speaker 1: the 2006 investigation into Epstein's which say she recruited girls
- 45:39Speaker 1: for him. Robson appeared in the Netflix documentary Jeffrey Epstein,
- 45:44Speaker 1: Filthy Rich, in which she said she was manipulated. She said,
- 45:48Speaker 1: I was just a 16-year-old girl doing what this man
- 45:51Speaker 1: had asked me to do. As a teenager, you don't
- 45:54Speaker 1: really stop to think about the bigger picture. You're not
- 45:57Speaker 1: mature enough. And Haley was a kid, right? She was 16.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Another one where there has to be special consideration, in
- 46:05Speaker 1: my opinion, given. Dailymail.com has approached lawyers and spokespeople for
- 46:12Speaker 1: Kellen Marcinko and Groff. Tracy Schmaller, the spokeswoman for Kellen,
- 46:18Speaker 1: who worked for Washington-based crisis management company Kivit, has previously
- 46:22Speaker 1: cast her as a victim. She said that Kellen joined
- 46:25Speaker 1: Epstein's circle aged 22. After divorcing a man, she married
- 46:30Speaker 1: at 17 and was cast out of Jehovah's Witness community
- 46:33Speaker 1: in which she had been born and raised. Wah, so what?
- 46:37Speaker 1: Who cares? Who cares, all right? People have been dealt
- 46:43Speaker 1: horrible cards forever, way worse than that, and they don't
- 46:46Speaker 1: end up with Jeffrey Epstein's. They don't end up hurting children.
- 46:52Speaker 1: She said, Sarah continues to struggle with the trauma of
- 46:55Speaker 1: her experiences and has chosen not to speak publicly at
- 46:58Speaker 1: this time. Smart move. Erica Dubnow, a lawyer for Marchenko,
- 47:03Speaker 1: said she was severely traumatized by her abuse and was
- 47:06Speaker 1: still coming to terms with it. Michael Bochner, a lawyer
- 47:10Speaker 1: for Groff, has said that she made appointments for Epstein,
- 47:14Speaker 1: but at no time did she engage in any misconduct. Well,
- 47:17Speaker 1: if you made those appointments for children to come and
- 47:19Speaker 1: get abused, you took part. You aided and abetted. You
- 47:22Speaker 1: were a part of a criminal conspiracy. Thanks for coming
- 47:26Speaker 1: to my TED Talk. Maxwell59 denies trafficking a minor and
- 47:32Speaker 1: conspiracy sex trafficking, among other offenses. Well, folks... It is
- 47:39Speaker 1: heating up in the world of the Ghislaine Maxwell trial,
- 47:42Speaker 1: isn't it? Now we got co-conspirators who are about to
- 47:46Speaker 1: come out and speak against her at trial. That, my friends,
- 47:50Speaker 1: is going to be must-see TV. If you'd like to
