- 8:00Speaker 1: Yeah. And uh you know, I you know, I lived
- 8:03Speaker 1: in Philly for over a year.
- 8:07Speaker 4: I storry to hear that.
- 8:08Speaker 1: It was interesting. It was in fish Town, which is
- 8:12Speaker 1: kind of like the kind of hippie hipster that's the
- 8:17Speaker 1: word look for hipster area like up and coming. But
- 8:21Speaker 1: there was a great cheese steak across from our apartment.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I guess what it was called from Joe Martin's Cheese
- 8:31Speaker 1: Steaks close Joe's Steve O what up? Oh lah? How
- 8:39Speaker 1: are you? Let's see? I think we got everyone. Anthony,
- 8:47Speaker 1: we got joelne see I remember the name.
- 8:52Speaker 4: And our lovely carpet salesman from down under.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Yes, Anthony Thrip as well.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Up cross carpets if you need carpets down under?
- 9:02Speaker 1: And yes you know what Anthony, me too. This aspect
- 9:08Speaker 1: of the case is, and we're gonna get into in
- 9:10Speaker 1: a second, is the most confusing aspect to me? Was
- 9:16Speaker 1: he there? Was he not there? Was he impersonated? Was
- 9:20Speaker 1: he there? And was he impersonated? What happened with Sylvia Duran?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Like you know, it's we'll get there, We'll get there,
- 9:29Speaker 1: we promise, allegedly.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Turn horse in the house.
- 9:32Speaker 1: What's up to turn?
- 9:34Speaker 4: And we got the double B's mama Sherry up in
- 9:36Speaker 4: the house.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Yo ooh, how are you Sherry B? What's up? Cherry B?
- 9:44Speaker 4: And Paul Aizi.
- 9:46Speaker 1: And Paul Anichi. Well, just to go back to Turn's comment,
- 9:50Speaker 1: and it's getting solved tonight. I can feel it. This
- 9:52Speaker 1: is actually I guess we'll break it down. This is
- 9:55Speaker 1: actually going to be a two part show. So next
- 9:58Speaker 1: Friday we are going we're gonna go through a lot
- 10:01Speaker 1: of the timeline tonight and next Friday we're gonna kind
- 10:06Speaker 1: of give.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Us solve this case four times for you tonight next
- 10:13Speaker 4: week on members only, next Friday, and then the Wednesday
- 10:16Speaker 4: after that on members only, We're gonna solve this case
- 10:19Speaker 4: for you. There's Mexico City conundrum four times.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yea, Tony Holman, what up, buddy? How are you?
- 10:26Speaker 4: Two of them will be he did go, and two
- 10:28Speaker 4: of them will be he did not go.
- 10:29Speaker 1: No, I mean, I don't know. It's it's a mess.
- 10:35Speaker 1: And uh, all right, we are done with the intros,
- 10:38Speaker 1: So I guess let's get into it.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Wrong, okay, folks. As alluded to by several here and
- 10:49Speaker 4: young Joseph Skazarelli, the Mexico City thing is one of
- 10:57Speaker 4: the most hotly debated topics about out the case. Why
- 11:02Speaker 4: is that, you may ask, Well, it's a very integral
- 11:08Speaker 4: part of setting Lee Harvey Oswald up setting Castro up
- 11:19Speaker 4: prior to the assassination, linking the two Oswald and Castro.
- 11:23Speaker 4: That's the main goal here, allegedly, if you are of
- 11:28Speaker 4: the conspiratorial mindset. Now those of you not of the
- 11:33Speaker 4: conspiratorial mindset, well realize. Uh oh oh wow, I heard
- 11:41Speaker 4: I heard from Hugh Dallad.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Oh that is my brother.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Oh. He looks like a skaffusa like you. Runs in
- 11:54Speaker 4: the family.
- 11:56Speaker 1: He's a good guy. Thank you. I appreciate you tuning in.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Yes, thank you.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Yes he is down in the sunny.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Florida and Lucky Bastard.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Yes, yes, but to your point, Rob, and thank you
- 12:12Speaker 1: Hugh again, I appreciate you joining it. You know, was it? See,
- 12:19Speaker 1: this is what I always go back and forth on. Right,
- 12:23Speaker 1: if he was there, if he was impersonated, and of
- 12:27Speaker 1: course Oswald is dead by that Sunday. There are major
- 12:32Speaker 1: operations going on. And when we talked in Mexico City
- 12:36Speaker 1: and when we talked to Larry Hancock and David Boylan,
- 12:39Speaker 1: they kind of alluded to this or talked about it.
- 12:43Speaker 1: You know, La Envoy, which was the telephone wire tapping operation,
- 12:48Speaker 1: and LA Feet which was the surveillance program outside of
- 12:54Speaker 1: the Russian and Cuban embassies. So at that point, because
- 13:01Speaker 1: we all know about the picture right of the guy
- 13:03Speaker 1: who wasn't obviously Oswalt, and no, he wasn't lbj's football buddy.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Don't don't get me started, Walla mac Ball. I'm sorry,
- 13:13Speaker 1: let's get it straight down, Like, at what point was
- 13:19Speaker 1: it more advantageous to keep these programs under wraps per se,
- 13:28Speaker 1: right like they did? They even need to prove that
- 13:33Speaker 1: he was there or not, because you had to think
- 13:38Speaker 1: with you know, them taking pictures of everyone that comes
- 13:42Speaker 1: in and out. Oswalt would have been photographed if he
- 13:46Speaker 1: was there.
- 13:49Speaker 4: He would have because I've showed pictures on this show
- 13:52Speaker 4: before from the surveillance of Mexico City on the doors
- 13:59Speaker 4: of the Cuban embassy in the Russian embassy, right, and
- 14:03Speaker 4: it's very good. I mean, you could definitely make out
- 14:08Speaker 4: who a person is by looking at the photo. If Oswald,
- 14:16Speaker 4: and here's the thing, if Oswald was actually there, then
- 14:21Speaker 4: either somebody dropped the ball and the CIA Mexico City
- 14:25Speaker 4: station or the cameras weren't working correctly, right, or they
- 14:32Speaker 4: were working correctly and somebody snagged the actual photos of
- 14:38Speaker 4: Oswald and locked them away in they're safe, Hello, Win
- 14:42Speaker 4: Scott allegedly.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Yeah. And when you think of the cameras not working, excuse,
- 14:52Speaker 1: you can even go to as recent as Jeffrey Epstein, right, yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 1: with oh the cameras were working that, I feel like
- 15:01Speaker 1: it's like the go to excuse.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Yeah. But then then then you run into something like
- 15:07Speaker 4: the telephone call between uh jag Or Hoover and Lyndon
- 15:12Speaker 4: Johnson right the day after the assassination, when you hear Hoover,
- 15:19Speaker 4: you know, explaining that the CIA has pictures of this guy.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Supposedly they have audio of this guy, but they're not Oswald.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Based on our familiarity with him, you know, our agent's
- 15:36Speaker 4: familiarity with him, it is not him, which adds some
- 15:42Speaker 4: fuel to the fire of what the hell is going
- 15:44Speaker 4: on here? But we never get to he actually hear
- 15:49Speaker 4: these phone calls. We have the transcripts, right, but we
- 15:53Speaker 4: can't actually hear them. And when and when you're talking
- 15:56Speaker 4: to somebody or some folks that work in the embassy,
- 16:03Speaker 4: the Cuban embassy Silviote specifically, I believe she described Oswald
- 16:08Speaker 4: as having light hair, you know, and we do have
- 16:12Speaker 4: a picture of a mysterious older man with blonde hair.
- 16:18Speaker 4: It's definitely not Oswald. Are you familiar with the one
- 16:22Speaker 4: I'm talking about, Joe?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yes?
- 16:24Speaker 4: Yeah, So this whole thing gets very confusing, very fast.
- 16:29Speaker 4: But let's back things up, Like I was saying, if
- 16:32Speaker 4: you're of the non conspiratorial mindset about this Mexico City trip,
- 16:40Speaker 4: because there is a timeline that starts very early in
- 16:44Speaker 4: nineteen sixty three, in February. So let's go back just
- 16:53Speaker 4: a wee bit, Joe, Okay, into the timeline here February.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Huh yeah, not the fall.
- 17:03Speaker 4: No, okay, please, okay, I believe.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I hope you. I hope you have the chicken parm
- 17:14Speaker 1: Trey because that's what I had when I was there.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I can't piece.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Gotta love the chicken farm. No, okay, So let's start
- 17:31Speaker 4: with this one. Joe.
- 17:34Speaker 1: All right, what have we got here?
- 17:36Speaker 4: This is actually all right back way up here. Okay,
- 17:41Speaker 4: this is when Oswald first defected to Russia. All right,
- 17:45Speaker 4: this is what he wrote. Okay, hold on, I Lee,
- 17:51Speaker 4: Harvey Oswald, do here by request that my present citizenship
- 17:56Speaker 4: in the United States of America be revoked. I have
- 18:01Speaker 4: entered the Soviet Union for the express purposes of applying
- 18:04Speaker 4: for citizenship in the Soviet Union through the means of naturalization.
- 18:09Speaker 4: My request for citizenship is now pending before the Supreme
- 18:13Speaker 4: Soviet of the USSR. I take the steps for political reasons.
- 18:20Speaker 4: My request for to revoking of my American citizenship is
- 18:26Speaker 4: made only after the longest and most severe considerations. I
- 18:33Speaker 4: affirm that my allegiance is to the Union of Soviet
- 18:37Speaker 4: Socialist Republic. Signed and look at that. Look at that signature, Joe.
- 18:42Speaker 4: We've been looking at signatures recently, Lee H. Oswald. Okay.
- 18:52Speaker 4: So again, this is Oswald claiming his allegiance to the
- 18:57Speaker 4: USSR and wanting to revoke his American citizenship.
- 19:03Speaker 1: And of course Rob just to point out that never happened, correct,
- 19:06Speaker 1: nor did he ever get Russian citizenship? Correct?
- 19:10Speaker 4: All right, So let's back up to February of nineteen
- 19:18Speaker 4: sixty three. February seventeenth, Okay, this is a letter that
- 19:22Speaker 4: Marina Oswald writes to Comrade Resnishenko Kumrad right now, he
- 19:30Speaker 4: works at the Russian Embassy in Washington, DC. Okay, And
- 19:35Speaker 4: what it says is, I beg your assistance to help
- 19:37Speaker 4: me to return to the homeland in the USSR. Why
- 19:41Speaker 4: I will again feel myself a full fledged citizen. Please
- 19:45Speaker 4: let me know what I should do for this. Perhaps
- 19:48Speaker 4: it will be necessary to fill out a special application form.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Since I am not working at present because of my
- 19:54Speaker 4: lack of knowledge of the English language and a small child,
- 19:57Speaker 4: I am requesting you to extend to me a possible
- 20:01Speaker 4: material aid for the trip. My husband remains here since
- 20:07Speaker 4: he is an American by nationality, I beg you once
- 20:11Speaker 4: more not to refuse my request. Now that seems pretty desperate, Yeah,
- 20:20Speaker 4: I mean this is coming from Marina Oswald in February
- 20:24Speaker 4: of sixty three, Joe. That's really when they are still
- 20:28Speaker 4: living in Dallas. He is still working at Jagger's child's Stovalla.
- 20:34Speaker 4: This is around the time that they first started meeting
- 20:37Speaker 4: these white Russians and de mornshield and all this jazz, right, right,
- 20:42Speaker 4: But she wants to go back to the USSR, to
- 20:46Speaker 4: the Motherland, and Oswald will stay here.
- 20:51Speaker 1: And they of course already have a kid at this time.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I do think they met the De moorn Shields in
- 20:56Speaker 1: sixty two, but that's besides the point. It's weird because
- 21:02Speaker 1: we always talk about their tumultuous relationship, right moving apart,
- 21:08Speaker 1: living apart. You know, the drama of you know everyone,
- 21:15Speaker 1: A lot of people have been in these type of relationships, right,
- 21:18Speaker 1: you break up, you get back together. We've talked about
- 21:20Speaker 1: this a lot at nauseum, and it seems like I
- 21:24Speaker 1: don't know how she even translated that letter. Who wrote
- 21:27Speaker 1: that for her? Because that seemed pretty well written.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Well, she wrote it in Russian, that's translation, okay, okay,
- 21:35Speaker 4: And at this time she had Rachel in October of
- 21:40Speaker 4: sixty three, that's the tenth month of the year. So
- 21:42Speaker 4: subtracting nine, that brings you back to January. So she
- 21:47Speaker 4: was pregnant, like maybe a month or maybe even less
- 21:50Speaker 4: than a month pregnant at this point and didn't even
- 21:53Speaker 4: know it.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Probably probably didn't know it at that point.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Yeah. So now she asking to go back to the motherland. Okay,
- 22:05Speaker 4: So what do they say to her, Joe, what do
- 22:08Speaker 4: they say to her?
- 22:10Speaker 1: Please let me know.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Dear Marina Nicolavana, in reply to your letter, we inform
- 22:18Speaker 4: you that for purposes of examining your request concerning your
- 22:21Speaker 4: return to the homeland, it is necessary for you to
- 22:25Speaker 4: jump through these hoops. You need to fill out an
- 22:28Speaker 4: application three times, furnish three copies of your detailed biography.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Write a request in the name of our ambassador about
- 22:38Speaker 4: your voluntary wishes to return to your homeland, with indication
- 22:44Speaker 4: of your profession in which you would wish to work,
- 22:47Speaker 4: and also of the place of residence, so they want
- 22:50Speaker 4: to know what she wants to do for work and
- 22:52Speaker 4: where she wants to live when she does come back.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Furnish three photos of passport size, signed on the face
- 22:59Speaker 4: of the photo, and also photographs of your child. Furnish
- 23:03Speaker 4: one or two letters from your relatives residing in the
- 23:05Speaker 4: USSR who are inviting you to live with them. After
- 23:09Speaker 4: receiving from you above mentioned documents, we will forward your
- 23:12Speaker 4: request for processing to the local Soviet authorities. Time of
- 23:16Speaker 4: processing requires five to six months. In the event of
- 23:21Speaker 4: any questions or difficulties, please write to us or call
- 23:24Speaker 4: us on the telephone. Our addresses blah blah blah, Washington,
- 23:28Speaker 4: d C. And the telephone number is t U two
- 23:31Speaker 4: five eight two nine scerely or respectfully yours whoever that
- 23:38Speaker 4: is v Jarisamov and resident. Right.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Yeah, they must have been so tired of Oswalt and
- 23:48Speaker 5: Marina's antics, because we know how long Oswalt tried to
- 23:52Speaker 5: get back to America.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Well, you know with the ambassy when he was in Russia.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Now I want to go back and back and forth
- 24:00Speaker 1: like oavey like.
- 24:02Speaker 4: So there's a little more back and forth. In March,
- 24:05Speaker 4: Marina goes through the hoops. She sends them what they
- 24:10Speaker 4: asked for. Okay, and now we'll fast forward a little
- 24:14Speaker 4: bit to July of sixty three.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Okay, Ron, just before you start, we want to thank
- 24:20Speaker 1: mister Chuck Bonifante for becoming a member.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Thank you, thanks Chuck.
- 24:26Speaker 1: And Timothy said Marina's uncle was KGB. No he was.
- 24:31Speaker 4: What is it the f FSV.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Svs FSV yes, like, which is like their fa Yeah?
- 24:40Speaker 4: Yeah, Okay. Now, this is a letter from the Oswald
- 24:46Speaker 4: to the Russian Embassy in Washington, d C.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Okay, don't make me read this man.
- 24:52Speaker 4: Dear sirs, please rush the entrance visa for the return
- 25:00Speaker 4: of Soviet citizen Marina Oswald.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Uh.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Something is going to have a baby in October. Therefore
- 25:13Speaker 4: you must grant this entrance. Hang on a second, let.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Me get you. So, what was the date?
- 25:21Speaker 4: Go back of this July first.
- 25:25Speaker 1: July first, Okay, so she knew by then. Okay, I'm sorry,
- 25:28Speaker 1: I missed that.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Maybe this will make it a little easier reason since
- 25:32Speaker 4: it's not all stretched out. Therefore, you must grant the
- 25:36Speaker 4: entrance and make the transportation arrangments before then. As for
- 25:42Speaker 4: my return entrance visa, please consider it separately. Thank you.
- 25:47Speaker 4: Lee Oswald, husband of Marina Nicola Vana. Okay, so it's
- 25:55Speaker 4: been Marina up till July. Marina's not anywhere now they
- 26:02Speaker 4: realize she's pregnant. Now Oswald is stepping in at the
- 26:06Speaker 4: beginning of July and wants this thing to try to
- 26:10Speaker 4: get rushed through because she's having a baby in October
- 26:13Speaker 4: and he wants it to happen before then. Okay, Now
- 26:18Speaker 4: let's hear from Marina in July. Dear Comrade Resdashanko, you
- 26:28Speaker 4: should understand our impatience, and therefore by this letter I
- 26:33Speaker 4: beg you to inform us of the result of replies
- 26:36Speaker 4: to my appeals with regard to the departure of our
- 26:39Speaker 4: family to the USSR and residence in Leningrad. I urgently
- 26:45Speaker 4: beg you to facilitate the expediting of this matter for
- 26:48Speaker 4: the reason I stated in a previous letter. Now separately, Okay,
- 26:54Speaker 4: you saw the Oswald letter that happened a week before
- 26:57Speaker 4: this one where he said consider me separately, all right,
- 27:01Speaker 4: In her correspondence it changed from just her and the
- 27:06Speaker 4: kid and then and then included Oswald. Then he says
- 27:11Speaker 4: consider me separately. And now she's saying with regard to
- 27:16Speaker 4: the departure of our family. So I think she's wrapping
- 27:20Speaker 4: Oswald back into this thing to try to.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Go back because I think, let's think on this. I
- 27:29Speaker 1: don't think Oswalt would have had a great chance of
- 27:32Speaker 1: going back again. So maybe he tried to you know,
- 27:39Speaker 1: separate the requests, but maybe Marina would have a better chance.
- 27:47Speaker 4: I don't think so. I mean, because they're married, Okay,
- 27:52Speaker 4: at that point, you know, if they want to move
- 27:56Speaker 4: back there, they can let him in. You know, it
- 27:58Speaker 4: wasn't like a travel band or you know, he was
- 28:01Speaker 4: gonna need to travel Visa. They're a married couple at
- 28:04Speaker 4: this point with children, right, they're just staying in their
- 28:08Speaker 4: desire to move back to the USSR.
- 28:10Speaker 1: One born in Russia, one wanting to be born in Russia.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Well, one married to a woman who was born in Russia.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Well, the first girl, June right was was born in Russia.
- 28:32Speaker 1: And she's trying to get Rachel back in time to
- 28:36Speaker 1: be born in Russia.
- 28:39Speaker 4: I don't know if they're trying to get it back
- 28:40Speaker 4: in time. They just want it. They just want all
- 28:43Speaker 4: this shit to happen before then, because they know that
- 28:45Speaker 4: after Rachel was born, it's going to be more difficult
- 28:48Speaker 4: to have to travel with the baby and do all
- 28:50Speaker 4: the baby paper, you know what I mean. Yeah, they
- 28:53Speaker 4: can't get Marina back before she has the baby, then
- 28:56Speaker 4: it's a whole lot easier.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, yeah, I don't know if there was what
- 29:02Speaker 1: is it called birthright citizenship right when like people come
- 29:06Speaker 1: here to have babies so they could be citizens. I
- 29:10Speaker 1: don't know if that happened in Russia in the sixties.
- 29:12Speaker 4: But all right, so fast forward a little bit. There's
- 29:17Speaker 4: nothing pretty much after this until November ninth, which is
- 29:27Speaker 4: a month after Oswald comes back from Mexico allegedly. Okay,
- 29:34Speaker 4: so if you're of the non con or the non
- 29:39Speaker 4: conspiratorial mindset, if you will, then let's do this real quick.
- 29:49Speaker 4: So they're not getting anywhere they they you know, they're
- 29:54Speaker 4: sending letters to the to the Russian embassy in Washington.
- 29:59Speaker 4: They told look, it's going to take five or six
- 30:01Speaker 4: months from the time we get all the information we
- 30:03Speaker 4: need when we check everything out, and then we'll let
- 30:05Speaker 4: you know type of thing they're not hearing back from
- 30:09Speaker 4: the washing from the embassy, you know, since July. So
- 30:15Speaker 4: the trip to Mexico City to the Cuban and Russian
- 30:21Speaker 4: consulate there to try to see if possibly Oswald can
- 30:29Speaker 4: get to Russia, you know, or set up transportation for
- 30:35Speaker 4: his wife, to expedite the process a little bit. Maybe
- 30:39Speaker 4: things will go different than go up in person type
- 30:41Speaker 4: of thing.
- 30:42Speaker 1: That classic end around, if you will.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Yeah, they're not getting anywhere through the mail, so maybe
- 30:49Speaker 4: he's figuring, look, if I show up there in person,
- 30:51Speaker 4: might be a different story. They'll hear me out, they
- 30:54Speaker 4: I'll plead my case and maybe they can expedite something
- 30:58Speaker 4: type of thing. And if I can get back there,
- 31:02Speaker 4: then I could definitely get Marina back, you know. Because again,
- 31:07Speaker 4: when Oswald goes to Mexico, allegedly, it's about a month
- 31:15Speaker 4: and a half before Rachel was born, right, so they're
- 31:20Speaker 4: still trying to rush the process before Rachel is born,
- 31:25Speaker 4: all right, So of course they go he allegedly goes
- 31:28Speaker 4: to Mexico and things don't go well. Cuba's not going
- 31:33Speaker 4: to give him a visa without the Russians, okay, and
- 31:35Speaker 4: at first, and that process takes time, as he's told. Okay,
- 31:41Speaker 4: at the Russian embassy they tell him, look, man, we
- 31:44Speaker 4: can you know, there's no russianness like running up the flagpole.
- 31:49Speaker 4: We have rules we have to follow. It is what
- 31:52Speaker 4: it is, right, And allegedly.
- 31:55Speaker 1: He was trying to go again, allegedly trying to go
- 32:00Speaker 1: to Cuba then to Russia.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Yes, okay, allegedly, that's what I said. Now. The funny
- 32:11Speaker 4: thing is a couple of days, or maybe the day
- 32:14Speaker 4: after the assassination, their travel back to United to the
- 32:19Speaker 4: USSR was approved. Really it was yeah, stop it, I'm serious,
- 32:28Speaker 4: I'm serious. But here if we go back, Oswald writes
- 32:35Speaker 4: them again at the beginning of November, November ninth.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Allegedly, right, this is the last letter, right, yep, we.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Have, dear sirs, This is to inform you of recent events.
- 32:49Speaker 4: Since my meetings with Comrade Costin in the embassy of
- 32:53Speaker 4: the Servie Union in Mexico City, Mexico. I was unable
- 32:57Speaker 4: to remain in Mexico indefinitely because of my Mexican visa restrictions,
- 33:03Speaker 4: which was for thirteen days only. I could not take
- 33:07Speaker 4: a chance on requesting a new visa unless I used
- 33:11Speaker 4: my real name, which is odd because I'm pretty sure
- 33:15Speaker 4: he did use his real name.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Right, he's not using He's not using Hydel right.
- 33:22Speaker 4: No, he's not using Hydel right. The only I mean
- 33:26Speaker 4: a lot of the variations of the Oswald name in
- 33:28Speaker 4: Mexico City, you'll see him is Lee Comma Harvey Oswald,
- 33:34Speaker 4: Like his name was Harvey Oswald Lee. That's how he
- 33:37Speaker 4: registered at the hotel commercial on the register. That's also
- 33:44Speaker 4: how what's on a lot of his travel documents. Is
- 33:48Speaker 4: that just a mistake, like somebody put the comma in
- 33:51Speaker 4: the wrong place? I don't know, or is it intentional
- 33:54Speaker 4: like oh Lee, you know who knows? But he says
- 33:59Speaker 4: here unless I use my real name. So I returned
- 34:02Speaker 4: to the United States. I had not planned to contact
- 34:05Speaker 4: the Soviet embassy in Mexico, so they were unprepared. Had
- 34:10Speaker 4: I been able to reach the Soviet embassy in Havana
- 34:15Speaker 4: as planned this, the embassy there would have had time
- 34:19Speaker 4: to complete our business.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So what so is that implying that he did not
- 34:27Speaker 1: get to the Cuban embassy.
- 34:31Speaker 4: No, this is implying that His original plan was to
- 34:35Speaker 4: go to Mexico City, go to the Cuban consul there,
- 34:40Speaker 4: obtain a travel visa to Cuba, and then talk to
- 34:45Speaker 4: the Russian embassy in Cuba about going back to Russia.
- 34:51Speaker 4: His original plan did not have him going to the
- 34:54Speaker 4: Russian embassy in Mexico City, so he says the Cuban
- 35:04Speaker 4: consulate was guilty of a gross breach of regulations. I
- 35:12Speaker 4: am glad he has since been replaced. Now, who he's
- 35:16Speaker 4: talking about here is as q Right, the head guy
- 35:20Speaker 4: at the Cuban Console. The Federal viewau of Investigation is
- 35:25Speaker 4: not now interested in my activities in the progressive organization
- 35:31Speaker 4: Fair Play for Cuba Committee, of which I was secretary
- 35:34Speaker 4: in New Orleans State, Louisiana. Since I am no longer
- 35:38Speaker 4: residing in that state, however, the FBI has visited me
- 35:41Speaker 4: here in Dallas. On November first, Agent James P. Hasty
- 35:46Speaker 4: warned me that if I engaged in Fair Play for
- 35:48Speaker 4: Cuba Committee activities in Texas, the FBI will again take
- 35:52Speaker 4: an interest in me. This agent also suggested to Marina
- 35:57Speaker 4: Nicolavna that she could remain in the United States under
- 36:01Speaker 4: FBI protection. That is, she could defect from the Soviet Union.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Of course, I and my wife strongly protested these tactics
- 36:11Speaker 4: by the notorious FBI. Please inform us of the arrival
- 36:17Speaker 4: of our Soviet entrance visas as soon as they come. Also,
- 36:22Speaker 4: this is to inform you of the birth on October twentieth,
- 36:25Speaker 4: nineteen sixty three, of a daughter, Audrey Marina Oswald, in Dallas, Texas,
- 36:31Speaker 4: to my wife, respectfully, Lee h. Oswald. So now that
- 36:51Speaker 4: kind of lays the table work for the reason Oswald
- 36:56Speaker 4: supposedly goes to Mexico. Why he didn't go to Washington,
- 37:04Speaker 4: d c. To the Russian embassy instead of going to
- 37:07Speaker 4: Mexico only makes sense if you believe what he just
- 37:11Speaker 4: wrote in that letter that he never intended to go
- 37:15Speaker 4: to the Russian embassy. He meant to go to the
- 37:18Speaker 4: Cuban embassy in Mexico City, obtain a Cuban visa, go
- 37:23Speaker 4: to Cuba, and then speak to the Russian embassy about
- 37:29Speaker 4: getting his family back to Russia. So at some point
- 37:32Speaker 4: the narrative has switched from getting Marina back by herself
- 37:36Speaker 4: from Marina to now Marina writing the embassy wanting her
- 37:44Speaker 4: and Oswald to go back to Oswald writing the embassy
- 37:48Speaker 4: wanting passage for his wife, and then him later to
- 37:51Speaker 4: them trying to go together, him getting denied right in
- 37:57Speaker 4: Mexico City, and then coming back. So what the non
- 38:04Speaker 4: conspiracy theorist will tell you is that this whole chain
- 38:09Speaker 4: of events adds to the mental misery of Lee Harvey
- 38:15Speaker 4: Oswald not being able to nothing's just going right for
- 38:20Speaker 4: this dude, You.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Know, right, nothing, No, that's true.
- 38:26Speaker 4: So it's just he's just getting hammered over and over
- 38:30Speaker 4: and over again. How many times can you get kicked
- 38:33Speaker 4: in the nuts before you just say, you know what,
- 38:35Speaker 4: fuck it? Right, So that's both sides of the fence.
- 38:42Speaker 4: What's interesting to me is so after Oswald gets fired
- 38:51Speaker 4: from the Riley Coffee Company in July of nineteen sixty three,
- 38:57Speaker 4: he doesn't really seek out more active employment after that,
- 39:01Speaker 4: he starts going into hardcore pro Castro mode, like like
- 39:07Speaker 4: he needs to start building himself a legend that hopefully
- 39:13Speaker 4: will impress the Cubans or maybe even catch the eye
- 39:17Speaker 4: of Fidel Castro himself to approve you know this his
- 39:23Speaker 4: visa to Cuba, right, Wow, Like he's trying, he's trying
- 39:28Speaker 4: to end around here.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Yeah, he's building up his credentials in a sense to
- 39:32Speaker 1: maybe get back there that way. Is that what you're kind.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Of saying, Yeah, because he does kind of bring this
- 39:39Speaker 4: up allegedly at the Cuban embassy. He's like, you know,
- 39:43Speaker 4: maybe you've heard of me. I've been on television and debates,
- 39:46Speaker 4: and I've been arrested for the cause, right.
- 39:49Speaker 1: You know, brought documents to proving that, right.
- 39:52Speaker 4: Yeah, So that's interesting. So you have him building kind
- 39:59Speaker 4: of building his own legend in New Orleans being pro
- 40:03Speaker 4: castro to hopefully, you know, bypass the bullshit and get
- 40:10Speaker 4: a Cuban visa from in Mexico City to go to Cuba.
- 40:14Speaker 4: You know, that's the idea. But then when he does
- 40:17Speaker 4: actually go to Mexico City and runs into these bureaucratic obstacles,
- 40:24Speaker 4: if you will, he gets very distraught, very distraught, to
- 40:34Speaker 4: the point where he's bawling his eyes out in the
- 40:37Speaker 4: Russian embassy, to the point where he's pulling out a
- 40:40Speaker 4: pistol in the Russian embassy to shoot himself, which is nuts.
- 40:45Speaker 1: By the way, I'm I'm not sure I believe that,
- 40:48Speaker 1: but that would be like almost suicide.
- 40:51Speaker 4: But yeah, I mean that's the story and that's coming
- 40:57Speaker 4: from the Russian embassy workers, right. You know, they were like,
- 41:01Speaker 4: you know, we tried to calm this guy down and
- 41:04Speaker 4: tell him it's probably not that big of a deal.
- 41:06Speaker 4: You know, we just need to run this stuff up
- 41:08Speaker 4: the flagpole. We'll let you know as soon as we can.
- 41:10Speaker 4: We'll expect it the process, you know, said in under
- 41:14Speaker 4: two months. They had an answer, it just came a
- 41:16Speaker 4: little too late, just a little too late.
- 41:22Speaker 1: So so he snapped and decided to kill JFKM.
- 41:29Speaker 4: Yeah, if you're of the non conspiratorial mind.
- 41:32Speaker 1: R correct, correct. And I do think Scott had a
- 41:36Speaker 1: good comment here. They're just annoying people. They have nothing
- 41:40Speaker 1: to offer, and they are a complete burden. That is
- 41:44Speaker 1: Lee and Marina and yeah, you know I agree with that.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I think they're like, we don't want this fucking guy back, like,
- 41:53Speaker 1: stop bothering us. I don't know how that fits in
- 41:58Speaker 1: with anything in terms of what might have or not happened,
- 42:03Speaker 1: but I could definitely see the Russian embassy being like, bro, like,
- 42:08Speaker 1: just leave.
- 42:08Speaker 4: Us, check things out. They want to go back, but
- 42:11Speaker 4: the Russians tell them, look, if you want to come back,
- 42:14Speaker 4: that's fine, we'll let you back. But First, we need
- 42:18Speaker 4: to know what profession you'd like to work in. When
- 42:22Speaker 4: you get back, we'll find you a job. We need
- 42:25Speaker 4: to know who of your relatives is going to let
- 42:27Speaker 4: you live with them and in what city will that be? Right,
- 42:33Speaker 4: So it's their skin off their nuts to let them
- 42:36Speaker 4: back in the country. You know, they don't have to
- 42:38Speaker 4: provide them with anything other than a job, you know,
- 42:41Speaker 4: which I'm sure could be as menial as whatever. M
- 42:45Speaker 4: You know, I'm sure Marina would have wanted to work
- 42:48Speaker 4: some in a pharmacy somewhere or whatever.
- 42:52Speaker 1: You know. What's interesting about that, rob that I just
- 42:54Speaker 1: thought of. Why didn't Marina use her uncle as some
- 43:02Speaker 1: type of leverage, right being as part of the FBI
- 43:06Speaker 1: in Russia the FSB, right or probably get that wrong.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Why didn't she use him as like a contact, if
- 43:17Speaker 1: you will, a reference?
- 43:20Speaker 4: Uh, I don't know. I mean maybe that would have
- 43:23Speaker 4: been a little overt and maybe a little forward, you know,
- 43:30Speaker 4: because I think at the time that she was living
- 43:32Speaker 4: with him before they you know, he wasn't like too
- 43:36Speaker 4: stoked about it, you.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Know what I mean, Like, yeah, yeah, yeah, he could
- 43:43Speaker 1: have been totally against the whole marriage thing. Her going
- 43:47Speaker 1: to America, So she might have known that.
- 43:50Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, well I don't think he was stoked with
- 43:52Speaker 4: the whole the whole deal, you know, with I don't know.
- 43:59Speaker 4: I can't remember exactly what the what happened with her parents?
- 44:04Speaker 4: Do you do you understand any of that?
- 44:06Speaker 1: I believe they.
- 44:09Speaker 4: I don't know if they asked or if.
- 44:12Speaker 1: They died or or they were not involved right in her,
- 44:17Speaker 1: in her upbringing, let's put it that way.
- 44:19Speaker 4: Yeah. And at some point, you know, these people, being
- 44:22Speaker 4: their closest relatives, he had to take over. So be like,
- 44:26Speaker 4: you know, if you if your brother, you know, had
- 44:28Speaker 4: like a a twelve year old kid or something he
- 44:31Speaker 4: passed away, and you know, you, being the kind hearted
- 44:35Speaker 4: caufusa that you are, you didn't want to see him
- 44:37Speaker 4: go into like foster care or whatever, and you said,
- 44:40Speaker 4: you know what, hey, you know, come up with me.
- 44:42Speaker 4: I'll adopt this kid, you know. But he turns out
- 44:44Speaker 4: to be a freaking nightmare, right and you start regretting.
- 44:49Speaker 4: You're like, what did I do? I should have left
- 44:51Speaker 4: this kid go to Falter care, you know what I
- 44:54Speaker 4: mean type of thing.
- 44:58Speaker 1: And it's impossible to know, of course, without talking to
- 45:01Speaker 1: Marina and I don't think we're going to get any
- 45:04Speaker 1: comments on that. I don't think she's ever talked about
- 45:06Speaker 1: her relationship with her uncle after, you know, going to Minsk,
- 45:12Speaker 1: you know, because I believe he was somewhere way north.
- 45:16Speaker 1: I don't know if he was letting ground or somewhere.
- 45:18Speaker 1: It was somewhere it was not Minsk.
- 45:22Speaker 4: Yeah, And of course the impedant in if that's not
- 45:27Speaker 4: that's not the right word. The genesis of this travel thing. Okay.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Oswald applies for a passport in New Orleans on June
- 45:43Speaker 4: twenty fourth, nineteen sixty three. So he applies for a
- 45:49Speaker 4: passport right his application stated on that passport application that
- 45:54Speaker 4: he intended that he intended to stay abroad for three
- 46:00Speaker 4: months to a year, and in that time he was
- 46:03Speaker 4: going to visit England, France, Germany, Holland, USSR, Finland, Italy
- 46:07Speaker 4: and Poland. Okay, he had big dreams, Joe.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, I mean that's that's quite a journey there.
- 46:17Speaker 4: The problem is that his passport was marked for travel
- 46:22Speaker 4: to every country in the world except for Albania and
- 46:27Speaker 4: Cuba because he's an American citizen.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Uh, and.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Those portions of China, Korean, and Vietnam, which were under
- 46:39Speaker 4: communist control. He could not go there either. Of course,
- 46:43Speaker 4: these limitations were standard uh for the time, right, So
- 46:47Speaker 4: it's not not nothing special, you know that that they
- 46:50Speaker 4: did against Oswald. You know, this was normal things to happen,
- 46:54Speaker 4: right mm hm. So so you have to understand for
- 47:03Speaker 4: somebody that did not drive, and somebody that was not
- 47:06Speaker 4: going to drop a lot of money right on a
- 47:08Speaker 4: plane ticket to Mexico City, you know. And it's not
- 47:14Speaker 4: like you can get on a bus in New Orleans
- 47:16Speaker 4: and ride the bus all the way from New Orleans
- 47:18Speaker 4: to Mexico City. Right, There's gonna be lots of stops
- 47:22Speaker 4: and transfers along the way that somebody is going to
- 47:26Speaker 4: have to figure out on the fly, or if he's
- 47:31Speaker 4: planning his travel in New Orleans starting with uh, you
- 47:36Speaker 4: know whatever bus, you know, he can go to the
- 47:38Speaker 4: bus company be like, look, my end plan is to
- 47:40Speaker 4: get to Mexico City. So does your bus service have
- 47:44Speaker 4: a way to do that from here? Like a route? Yeah?
- 47:48Speaker 4: Do I need to where do I need to go?
- 47:50Speaker 4: Where do I need to get off? What bus do
- 47:53Speaker 4: I need to get on? Next? Type of thing that
- 47:55Speaker 4: to me would be very confusing. So you know, to
- 47:59Speaker 4: try to playing out a bus trip from New Orleans
- 48:04Speaker 4: to Mexico City. It's a long way. I mean we're talking, yeah,
- 48:08Speaker 4: like two thousand miles.
- 48:10Speaker 1: And you can't get on your iPhone or your Android
- 48:13Speaker 1: and google it. No.
- 48:17Speaker 4: Now, of course you might have a map, but you
- 48:19Speaker 4: don't know which where the buses are going. You don't
- 48:21Speaker 4: have a bus route map, you know what I mean, Like.
- 48:23Speaker 1: You have to you have to ask someone at the
- 48:26Speaker 1: bus company in.
- 48:28Speaker 4: Theory, right, Yeah, because there was a lot of them
- 48:30Speaker 4: back then. That's how a lot of people traveled. You know,
- 48:34Speaker 4: you had Greyhounds, you had you know, Rands America, you
- 48:38Speaker 4: had you know these all these other weird ones from
- 48:42Speaker 4: Mexico Continental Trailways type of thing. I think that was
- 48:46Speaker 4: the first one that he purchased. UH for says, tickets
- 48:52Speaker 4: from Nuevo Laredo to Mexico City, if they're purchased from
- 48:57Speaker 4: Continental Trailways in New Orleans, are ten dollars for a
- 49:01Speaker 4: one way trip. That's if you purchase it taken in
- 49:05Speaker 4: New Orleans from Nuevo Laredo, which is the first Mexican
- 49:08Speaker 4: town when you cross the border. That's not including what
- 49:12Speaker 4: buses you need to take to actually get to Nuevo Laredo, right,
- 49:15Speaker 4: and then from there to Mexico City it's ten bucks
- 49:18Speaker 4: one way. So Joe, let's get into the whole trip
- 49:28Speaker 4: to Mexico, if you will.
- 49:30Speaker 1: Okay, before we do, I want to address a couple
- 49:33Speaker 1: of comments. Okay, South to West says I always thought
- 49:38Speaker 1: it was so strange that the Soviets let him leave
- 49:41Speaker 1: in the first place. Well, let me respond to that.
- 49:44Speaker 1: If you believe that he cut his wrists to try
- 49:51Speaker 1: to stay there, and they said, we don't have this
- 49:55Speaker 1: guy in Moscow, let's send them to Minsk. And then
- 49:59Speaker 1: like almost like within a year, he starts sending US
- 50:04Speaker 1: Soviet am disease letters trying to get back. He's an annoyance.
- 50:10Speaker 1: So I could see the Soviets not taking him seriously
- 50:15Speaker 1: and being like, yo, just let's just get this guy
- 50:17Speaker 1: out of here.
- 50:18Speaker 4: Well, what's what's the better questions out to West. I
- 50:22Speaker 4: thought it was so strange that the Soviets let Marina
- 50:24Speaker 4: leave so easily that that is really interesting the process
- 50:30Speaker 4: for an actual Soviet citizen to gain uh, you know,
- 50:35Speaker 4: international travel. And I think the the thing that helped
- 50:42Speaker 4: him out was, of course being married right and having
- 50:47Speaker 4: a child together, and at that point, you know, Oswald
- 50:53Speaker 4: never really revoked his citizenship. He never really became a
- 51:01Speaker 4: naturalized citizen of the Soviet Union. So at that point
- 51:05Speaker 4: they're basically Oswald is basically on borrowed time. Right. There's
- 51:12Speaker 4: they're being nice letting him stay there this long. But
- 51:15Speaker 4: of course being married to Marina and having a kid
- 51:18Speaker 4: helps the cause. But when they express an interest to
- 51:23Speaker 4: come to leave the Soviet Union, come back, the Soviets
- 51:27Speaker 4: are praying like okay, okay, cool, you know.
- 51:30Speaker 1: And he was also trying for a long time to leave.
- 51:36Speaker 4: Now the process, the process actually went fairly quickly, quicker
- 51:40Speaker 4: than normal. He's not he's not a citizen of the
- 51:45Speaker 4: Soviet Union. He could leave whenever he wanted to. The
- 51:47Speaker 4: problem is he didn't want to leave Marina and his
- 51:49Speaker 4: kid behind.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Also, opto economists with a good question, supposedly Oswald had
- 52:00Speaker 1: his eyes on Cuba and Castro since at least the
- 52:04Speaker 1: spring of fifty nine. Yes, that is true, as we
- 52:07Speaker 1: know by the testimony of what was it, Carlos Delgado,
- 52:13Speaker 1: his fellow marine. So why didn't Oswalt choose to take
- 52:18Speaker 1: his new family to Cuba? Directly from the Soviet Union, well,
- 52:25Speaker 1: allegedly Oswalt, you know, as someone who got bored easily,
- 52:34Speaker 1: was kind of disillusioned by the Soviet sense of Soviet
- 52:39Speaker 1: way of communism, right, and maybe wanted you know, you know,
- 52:44Speaker 1: Marina wanted to go to America. I mean she was
- 52:49Speaker 1: very pro that. I don't know the exact answer to that.
- 52:55Speaker 1: But and then I think he got disillusioned with his
- 52:59Speaker 1: lack of work respects, and he goes, well, maybe maybe
- 53:02Speaker 1: Castro on Cuba has this communism thing figured out.
- 53:07Speaker 4: Well. I think also back then there was still a
- 53:10Speaker 4: lot of bureaucratic bullshit and red tape, you know, when
- 53:14Speaker 4: it goes to people wanting to leave a communist country
- 53:18Speaker 4: and move to another communist country. And I don't know
- 53:24Speaker 4: if Cuba was allowing people from foreign countries to move
- 53:29Speaker 4: to Cuba to live there.
- 53:31Speaker 1: I mean, they're in the middle of a revolution in
- 53:34Speaker 1: fifty nine, right.
- 53:36Speaker 4: He may have been able to get granted like a
- 53:39Speaker 4: travel visa, you know, where he could stay for a
- 53:41Speaker 4: week or two and then but it had to leave
- 53:44Speaker 4: a type of thing, you know, like he got going
- 53:47Speaker 4: to Mexico. But I don't know at that time that
- 53:49Speaker 4: Cuba was allowing people to move there to live there
- 53:54Speaker 4: that weren't naturalized citizens, especially Americans, Russian and that are married.
- 54:01Speaker 4: I mean, it's I don't know. It seems to me
- 54:04Speaker 4: like that probably would have been something that wasn't very possible.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it wasn't feasible, if you will. Yeah, who knows,
- 54:15Speaker 1: but that that would have been interesting. We definitely know
- 54:19Speaker 1: he had interest in Cuba in fifty nine, but I mean,
- 54:24Speaker 1: did he want to move there at that point. Probably,
- 54:27Speaker 1: I don't know, I'm not sure. Probably not. Let me
- 54:30Speaker 1: just see if there's anything else, Hey, Paula, Hey Cammy.
- 54:40Speaker 4: Well, he had been actively you know, reading about Lenin
- 54:45Speaker 4: or Marxism, Trotsky Lenin, you know, and you know, if
- 54:55Speaker 4: I think it was more enamored with the idea of
- 54:57Speaker 4: Soviet communism than he was with Cuba in nineteen fifty nine,
- 55:03Speaker 4: you know, because prior to nineteen fifty nine, when Castro
- 55:07Speaker 4: took power, you know, it was not a communist country.
- 55:11Speaker 4: It was just right a bunch of bullshit going on
- 55:14Speaker 4: down there. Yeah, Oswald would have made his way, I mean,
- 55:19Speaker 4: probably rode right by Cuba on the way to the USSR,
- 55:22Speaker 4: on the Marion Lakes. You know, I mean he chose
- 55:26Speaker 4: to go to Russia for a reason over Cuba at
- 55:29Speaker 4: that point, and.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Too said poor life in Dallas versus poor life in Minsk. Well,
- 55:35Speaker 1: he was kind of living it up in Minsk, right,
- 55:38Speaker 1: He had a paid for an apartment, He had a.
- 55:41Speaker 4: Job apartment and a nice building. Yeah, he was a
- 55:45Speaker 4: job he enjoyed with many friends there.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Getting with a bunch of Russian baddies. Uh, he just
- 55:55Speaker 1: grew border of it at some point. You know, he
- 55:57Speaker 1: was the only Skufuza to lead like some workers revolt
- 56:05Speaker 1: right in the factory that he is working at, which
- 56:08Speaker 1: was unheard of at the time.
- 56:11Speaker 4: But while he was doing okay, it wasn't like there
- 56:13Speaker 4: was a capitalist system over there. It wasn't like, you know,
- 56:18Speaker 4: he's doing okay, he's making decent money, doesn't have to
- 56:22Speaker 4: pay for his place to live. You know, getting food
- 56:26Speaker 4: is a bit over there. You gotta wait in long
- 56:28Speaker 4: lines and then you know, you're giving me the same
- 56:30Speaker 4: everybody else. It wasn't like they had a best Buy
- 56:32Speaker 4: where you go in and buy a brand new camera
- 56:35Speaker 4: and you know type of thing.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I believe that his writings, he claimed that
- 56:40Speaker 1: there was nothing to do here, you know, type of thing,
- 56:46Speaker 1: nothing to spend it on. Yeah, nothing to spend my
- 56:48Speaker 1: money on. Exactly what it's going say So, like I said,
- 56:52Speaker 1: when we think of os Walt, someone that is looking
- 56:56Speaker 1: for some purpose, was easily bored, who is changing his
- 57:00Speaker 1: mind every other minute. I think that's my current take
- 57:06Speaker 1: on him, but who knows. So yeah, let's get to Mexico,
- 57:12Speaker 1: and James said, actually OSSI had a pretty sweet setup
- 57:15Speaker 1: compared to most Soviet citizens. Yeah all right, so an,
- 57:23Speaker 1: ho're into us yapping like six barbers, vaguely touching on Mexicos. Yes,
- 57:31Speaker 1: we do. I like to weep with that. Let's get
- 57:36Speaker 1: into his alleged trip.
- 57:40Speaker 4: Because this is a very confusing thing, and it's very
- 57:42Speaker 4: important that we, you know, break down the details or else.
- 57:47Speaker 4: I don't want anybody to be confused and not really
- 57:49Speaker 4: understand why or why we're talking about this what we're
- 57:53Speaker 4: talking about. It's a very intricate subject and there's lots
- 57:57Speaker 4: of moving parts here. So mm hmmm.
- 58:01Speaker 1: One. So, I think we did a good job at
- 58:04Speaker 1: kind of setting the table there. Thank you for showing
- 58:06Speaker 1: all those letters. I've read them before, but I hadn't
- 58:09Speaker 1: read them in a good amount of time.
- 58:12Speaker 4: So real quick. And yeah, her name is Rachel, but
- 58:16Speaker 4: her name was Audrey Marina Rachel Oswald. She had two
- 58:23Speaker 4: middle names.
- 58:27Speaker 1: Mhmm. Interesting. Yeah. And by the way, the I believe
- 58:38Speaker 1: both daughters are a successful business would been in Dallas today.
- 58:43Speaker 4: M hmm.
- 58:45Speaker 1: It'll be one of them. It'll be one of them.
- 58:50Speaker 1: We could just get Marina on the pod to answer
- 58:52Speaker 1: some of these.
- 58:57Speaker 4: I don't get greedy.
- 58:58Speaker 1: I know that's your cue, Joe. All right, So do
- 59:07Speaker 1: you want me to start on the timeline the Murray
- 59:15Speaker 1: Ferral chronology timeline we talked about.
- 59:23Speaker 4: Well we can to a point. Okay, you know, we
- 59:28Speaker 4: need to address what goes on at somebody's bus trip.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Okay, So oh man, let's enlarge this. That's what she said. Sorry,
- 59:44Speaker 1: I used the Michael Scott the office. That's what she
- 59:47Speaker 1: said a lot. Hey, there you go. You enlarge it
- 59:52Speaker 1: a little more for me.
- 59:55Speaker 4: That's my job, all right.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: So August, I guess listen, we're this is ninety six pages.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: So this is why we're making this part two next week.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: But again, most of this document doesn't start the Mexico
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: city stuff, and this is all sitting at table type
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: ship going back to August.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: All right, do you want to skip some of the
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: early August stuff then and and go to like September,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: nitty gritty and let's do that.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Let's do that when you guys leave Leaves New Orleans.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Okay, let's see. Oh we're talking about some signatures on
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Texas and plume commission warrants. We're gonna get into signatures
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: spoiler alert and possibly a future show. We have all
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: his checks here, let's see. Uh, September sixty three, you
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: need to keep calling bro alright, know it's oh yeah,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: we need to get to later September, actually even October,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: all right, no, late September.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: You need to get September twenty fifth.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Okay, thank you, sir.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: You and that goddamn squeaky wheel.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I know I I got a new mouse. Huh.
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: I'd already threw that motherfucker against the wall.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: You know, Well, what are you gonna do? Your boys
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: living on a fixed and come, oh man, all right September.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: Well you need to go to the Connecticut Employment Commission.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: Then motherfucker.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Start getting some checks rolling in. All right. September twenty third,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: we're almost there. Twenty fourth, twenty fourth.
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: Still two hours later.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Alright, September twenty fifth, Hang on, Joe, okay pos September
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: twenty fifth, Oswalt buys the Spanish dictionary for thirty five cents.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Pretty good deal. Why didn't you say James is in.
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: He's a gun for a penny? I mean thirty five cents.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: There's a lot of money for a fucking dictionary.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: But yeah, so okay, here we go. September twenty fifth, Wednesday,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Oswalt in Dallas bus station. Let's go up a second. Also,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: it leaves New Orleans by bus for Houston. The bus
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: fare is nine dollars and seventy cents, which is kind
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: of a lot. That's like one hundred bucks. Mister and
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: missus McFarlane says they talked with Lee Harvey Oswald in
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: September twenty sixth and determined he must have left New
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Orleans at about two pm on September twenty fifth. So
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Oswald is now with the bus station at six pm,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: according to the New York Post. I didn't know the
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: New York Post was covering this in sixty four bus schedule.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: We don't need to go through that. Later. September twenty fifth,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Socialist Labor Party official is on board his ship en
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: route from Galveston to New Orleans. I don't know what
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: that has to do or anything. We have clay Shaw
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: and Hammond, Louisiana. Sorry, I'm trying to find this. September
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: twenty fifth, Continental Trailways bus leaves Dallas at eleven pm,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: arrives at Alice at ten to twenty five am, and
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: that's kind of a long bus ride. Leaves Alice at
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: ten thirty five, arrives in Laredo at one twenty pm.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Leaves Houston.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: The reason they have two buses here is because they
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: don't know what fucking bus he was on, right, So
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: they have the Continental Trailway schedule, they have a different
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: Continental Trailway schedule, they have a Greyhound schedule, they have
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: a Mexican Red Arrow schedule. So they're covering their bases here,
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: trying to figure out, you know, to give as much
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: information as possible depending on which bus he was on.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: Then these are the times that happened, but they don't
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: know what bus he was on specifically right.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: September twenty sixth Oswaldt takes a bus in Houston for
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Laredo at two thirty five am interesting. The bus fare
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: is ten dollars another one hundred bucks Continental Trailways bus
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Karrison case four. They first noticed Lee Harvey Oswalt on
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: the Houston Laredo Continental Trailways bus. That's about six a m.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: September twenty six Also FBI agent coach or coach or
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: cock or cock. They don't really know. Cosmus is Gardener
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: and No Orleans Oswalt's landlord. He has checked on Oswalt
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: with Missus Gardner four or five times during Oswalt's residence,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: which is interesting. New Orleans Post Office closes Oswalt's box
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: on the same day twenty sixth two issues of The
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Militant found. Now we're back to the twenty fifth. Missus
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Sylvia Odio, a Cuban Refuugi and Dallas, describes three men
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: who come to her apartment. They come at nine pm.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: They apologize for the late hour of their visit, but
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: say that they have just come from New Orleans and
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: that they're trying to get an anti castro movement started
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: in Dallas. They say that they are leaving for a
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: trip that they identifies themselves as Leopaldo possibly Lauren Hall.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: But that is interesting Rob because kind of screws up
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: the whole timeline, right.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: Yeah, so let's pause here for just a second, okay, because,
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: like you said, Joe, uh, this is a problem for
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: the Warrant Commission, because this totally fucks up their timeline
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: of Oswald being in or on his way to Mexico.
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: Silvia Odia is fairly confident, you know, in the fact
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: that this.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Was Oswald who visited her.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: She positively identifies him. You know. Of course, at the time,
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: what you know, it was no big deal. But of
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: course after the assassination and you have Oswald's picture plaster
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: all over everything, she realizes that this was the guy
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: who came to visit her in the presence of two
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: other Latino men, one named Leopoldo and one named Angelo,
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: and they spoke to her in Spanish and they were
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: telling her, you know, hey, this guy is crazy. These
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: names Leon Oswald, you know, you would have no problem
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: killing Kennedy type of thing. And and it's just a
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: very odd occurrence. And on this past members only, I
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: played for you a little piece from uh, some dip
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: shit who thinks he's somebody in this research community talking
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: about how this case has been solved for sixty years.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: But you know, these stupid JFK researchers just keep changing
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: things on me. You know, Lauren Hall admitted to being
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: at Sylvie Odio's house blah blah blah, and he did
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: initially when when interviewed by the FBI. Lawrence Howard did not,
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: William Seymour did not, and then Lauren Hall afterwards, the
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: more he thought about it, he said, you know what,
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: I don't think that that was us at her house.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: He redacted changed the story.
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: Now, the problem with this is these guys were going
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: around seeking money or aid or supplies for the cause,
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: right which was going to be the second invasion of Cuba.
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: They have pig style, using cute, anti castric Cuban exiles
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: and these hot shit mercenaries, and what they were doing
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: a lot were going around to very influential people in
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: the Cuban exile community and asking for handouts. The reason
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: they went to Silviodio's house is because her parents were
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: very affluent and well off. I believe it. I believe
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: her dad was in the railway industry.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I was about to say. I think
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: they owned the railroad in Cuba or something. And of
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: course we know about her uncle Augustine we Tart from
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: David Boylin and being a Oswalt's court hearing.
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: Yeah, so you know her family comes from money. She's
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: invested in the cause because Castro has her parents in
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: prison in Cuba, right, So she's the type of person
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: who might want to donate to the cause. You know,
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: they were going around to people like this, they and
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: they went to around to a lot of people asking
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: you know, so he realized, you know that it was
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: it might have been a different woman that they visited, right,
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: that maybe lives on the same street as Kiki as
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Buddy Kiki mass for not Sylvie Odio. So he realized
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: that he made a mistake, that it wasn't actually them
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: who had been there. So you got to figure that
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: Leopoldo and Angelo are somebody else other than Lauren Hall
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: and Lawrence Howard and William Seymour playing the role of
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: Leon Oswald if you will. But if you believe Sylvia
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: Odio somebody was playing the role of Leon Oswald is
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: crazy American, right, which.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Of course implies that the setup is already kind of
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: in motion.
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: And you see this not only with Sylvia Odio, but
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: with people like Robert McCown.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, but we'll get there. Yeah.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: And I believe the Odio story too. I don't think
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: she would just make this, make this up out of
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: whole cloth for no reason.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: It would make It would make no sense to just
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: make it up.
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: So either they were trying attempting to defraud Silvia Odio
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: if you will, like a lot of these people were,
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: they would ask for money, they would get donations, and
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: then they would they wouldn't do shit with it. It
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: was just free money, you know, to keep on going
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: around and asking for more money from other people.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: You know, Lauren Hall was doing the same thing. Heming
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: was doing the same thing. They were going around Lester
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: log Hey, big money wheeler dealer types, general walker, you know,
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: people with money. They were hitting them up all over
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: the place. Very influential. It's interesting that Sylvi Odio says
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: that these guys have said that they just got in
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: from New Orleans.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Is that is that's a very interesting point. New Orleans,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: New Orleans.
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: Now, who in New Orleans do we know Joe at
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: this time? That's very fresh on the brain. At least
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: Oswald fracas would have been fresh on the brains of
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: many anti Castro Cuban exiles in New Orleans at this time,
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: if you were to think, start thinking about setting up
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: Lee Oswald, the stupid pro Castro asshole in New Orleans,
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: who you knew was from, or who had ties, or
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: who had just left New Orleans to go back to Texas,
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: Dallas maybe specifically, you know, does does this? Is this
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: the genesis of the setup of Oswald by anti Castro
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: Cuban exiles? Sure sounds like it.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Yeah, to answer your first question, Bartes Brgier, Uh, you
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: know you talk about Emilio Rodriguez, Ernesto Rodriguez, those type
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: of people.
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it's uh, certainly is what it seems to be.
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: But the problem is, like I said, the official story
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: has Oswald on the way to Mexico at this time. Yeah,
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: so they either play it out to be well. Stilvie
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: Idio is just confused about the date that this occurred, right,
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: But she's fairly certain based on things in her life
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: that occurred exactly what day has happened on. But as
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: Joe was reading from the document, allegedly the twenty fifth,
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: twenty sixth, or the twenty seventh, right, right, So pray
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: continue Joe okay, let.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Me get my tabs straightened up here, Joey tabbs but
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: really here, all right, let me and large part of
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: my pun again, my same old.
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: Pump and Jake some tepties into that thing. Well, yeah,
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: I know directly.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Yeah. So we have September twenty going back to twenty
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: fifth like we were just or twenty six or twenty seventh.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: This is what Rob was talking about. Uh. Sylvia Odio,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Cuban refugee residing in Dallas, describes three men. We already
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: went through that. Uh. I'm trying to like use my
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: mouse silently. What connection is there between John Martin the
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: year here? We go back to Johnny Martin, they're away,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: you're you, You're Aguayan. Who's mister Odio's contacts in Dallas
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: about guns? Right? And of course he actually approached her sister. Right,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: what's your name? Not Sylvia Sirita? Right with the the
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: wash the wash machine business, Jack Ruby, Chicago Union associate,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Jack Martin, blah blah, Lauren.
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: The last one's interesting. Juan Martinez, a seventy year old
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: Uruguayan living on a Guatemala farm, is suspected of being
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: German Nazi Martin Borman living there under a alias of
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: Juan Martinez.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that is interesting. That is a classic operation paper club. Huh,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: let's go down a little bit. We're still on September
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: twenty six. We're back to September twenty six. Oswo buys
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: thirty two dollars worth of clothing in Laredo. Now route,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: that's three hundred plus dollars of clothing.
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: Really, well, you know, you gotta look good, body when
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: you go down below the border there.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: I mean, I guess if you want to hit Sylvia Durant, sure,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: but it doesn't seem like Oswald to me.
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: But well, right under that, it says Vincent Christie admits
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: lying about Oswald buying forty dollars worth of closing all right,
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: I didn't get to so. New York Times then retracts
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: its article.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Oh my god, So.
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: Maybe he didn't do it.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I was having I would bet no. So we're
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: still on September twenty sixth Oswald crosses the border at
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: the Rado between six am and two pm. Again, they
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: don't know what Bussy's on. That is a huge kind
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: of time frame there, right, Yeah, just that's that's what
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: six eight hours Mexican border guard Helio Twexi Maydon hadles
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Oswald and they some Dallas Morning News in Washington Post
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: articles Colonel Gaddison, not mister Gaston, mister Kanada Gasen. The
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Texas Department of Public Safety makes preliminary report to Texas
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Attorney General Wagner Carr that two blonde women and another
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: man either entered Mexico with Lee Rvy Oswalt or returned
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: with Oswalt. Now, I'm gonna get to these two women
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: if we have time. I don't know if we're gonna
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: have time today or tomorrow. But one was interviewed by
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: the Warrant Commission and they both have commission exhibits. These
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: two I believe they were Aussi's Australian women. Shout out
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: to our Australian listeners here. And we have a bunch
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: of other Skafuzas says that Mexican immigration officer Raoul Lubano
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: says Oswalt in a sailor type uniform across the border
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: with a man and two women. So again, this whole
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: thing is a mess. Immigration inspector handles these persons crossing
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: the border and they talk about these four people I'm
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: not going to get into them who allegedly were I
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: don't know were they or they were issued at passport
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: on the same day or something like I said. This
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: whole thing is a mess, which is why we're trying
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: to figure this out. I believe there's is everyone on
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: the list of people that got the immigration form below
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: or above Oswalt, right, Rob something like that, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: So we don't need to go through those details. Both
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: tickets not passports, bus tickets, right, Okay, we have more people,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: more scuffusas. And then we have Harvey Oswald Lee, who
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: of course you talked about earlier issued at New Orleans
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: nine seventeen sixty three. Again, that's a problem mail American
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: birth certificate going to Monterey from Laredo.
- 1:20:45Speaker 4: But as you're going, that was a mistake, okay, misinformation
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: if you will.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Well that's what makes this okay. So we were still
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: on the twenty six Mexican red eerrow bus departs one
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: thirty pm from Laredo. At two two fifteen from Nuevo Ladedro,
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: the bus fair is five ninety five. There's this guy JH. Bowen,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: who is a Missouri attorney who is allegedly a passenger
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: with Oswalt. And it gets very confusing here in terms
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: of now we're going through the passenger lists Oswalt's conversations
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: with other passengers. Albert Osborne aka Bowen, So I guess
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: the son is really denies that Oswalt sits beside him,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: after admitting to the hoax hoes.
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: Ho was.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: He has played hoax. Yeah, I know, but they misspelled it.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: He has played. As to his identity, he insists that
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: the passenger beside him could not speak English. Okay. Describes
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: white male, dark complexed Mexican or Puerto Rican twenty nine
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: five eight one fifty one hundred fifty pounds, thin, blonde hair,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: shabbily dressed. Says, bus arrives in Mexico City, and then
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: we're going through other passengers here. Okay, we're gonna get
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: to the Australian girls, oswaldt tells, who are allegedly on
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: the bus with him.
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Oswald tells two Australian girls, Miss Mumford and Miss Winston,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: that his home in fort Worth and he is en
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: route from Dallas. He recommends that they stay at the
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Hotel Cuba in Mexico City. He says that he has
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: stayed there many times, but is not staying there on
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: this trip. He says that he has had an apartment
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: in Moscow for two years. He never mentioned politics, business,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: or destination spelled Rome. He's wearing a charcoal gray sweater.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: He had a meal at every stop, which occurred every
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: two or three hours. Oswald tells others he has been
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: in Mexico City before at the Hotel Cuba Commission Exhibit
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: two five three two. I think I have that the
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Australian girls described the englishman Osborne. Well, I guess it's Bowen, right?
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Am I getting this right? With whom Oswald converses as
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: sixty five, seventy years old, five eight fat plump Vault
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: had lived in Mexico for thirty years. Miss Muffert identifies
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Oswalt's picture, made in October sixty three and February sixty
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: four as the Englishman sitting by Oswalt on the bus
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: from Monterrey excuse me to Mexico City. She quotes Osborne
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: as referring to the quote young man sitting by me,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: indicating that they were not traveling together. Miss Winston describes
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: Osborne as Englishmen all right, we already did that the
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: following passengers of the Red as blah blah blah blah blah.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: So Rob, what do you want to continue this and
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: get to some of since we're on the topic of
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: the aussy ladies, get to some of their statements. Sure,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: all right, let me move from scene. Alright, let's get
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: to my very nice power point here. Huh oh, this
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: is just such a mess. And you could tell why
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: they add such a problem with.
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: This, right.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: You're susy.
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: Uh well, sure you got some layers here, layers, layers on,
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: layers on layers.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Mm hm.
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: While you're doing that, I just wanna show everybody, uh
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: a quick picture. Sure of, mister Walled This is allegedly
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: from his passport photo, or not his passport but his
- 1:26:12Speaker 4: visa for an applications for the Cuban Consulate. I guess
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: Sylvia Duran tells him that they need a picture to
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: put with his visa application to go to Cuba.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 1:26:24Speaker 4: This is what he comes back with. He's very nicely
- 1:26:30Speaker 4: dressed tie, he's got a sweater vessel and like mister Rogers,
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: hair all nice and combed, five o'clock shadow flowing. That
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: is the staple mark his chest there, and then I've
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: got an interesting photo for you, Joe of This is
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: Elena Gero. This is Sylvia Duran's cousin in the forefront
- 1:27:05Speaker 4: here in the white pants, damn. The guy behind her
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: to the right in the suit and the penny lovers
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: is her husband. The lady in the black dress is
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: her daughter. All right, but allegedly she tells of attending
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: a twist party with Lee Harvey Oswald when he's in
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: Mexico City. Again, this is Sylvia Durant's cousin.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: Right, and we're yeah, and just to be clear, we're
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: not talking twist her like the game. We're talking like
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: a twist.
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: Dance, yes, yes, the one you're not familiar with.
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: Yes, yes? Oh man? All right, So what's in large
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: of this as we like to do, I don't know.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: Help me out here as I search for Oh wow,
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: we have a bunch of comments. Right, let me see
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: if I could.
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: In large that it already is enlarged for you, sir,
- 1:28:22Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to enlarge it more so. Patricia Winston, this
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: is a Commission Exhibit twenty one to ninety four. As
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: if we need more commission exhibits and Pamela Mumford rode
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: on the bus with Oswald from Monterey, Mexico, departing at
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: seven thirty pm on nine to twenty six sixty three
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: to Mexico City, arriving at ten am on nine to
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: twenty seven sixty three. On the bus was an Englishman
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: that would be the Boeen whatever. His other alias was
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: name right, the old fat guy, bold guy, who had
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: lived in Mexico for thirty years. He sat next to
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: Oswalt and a young English couple or were they English?
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: Or were they Ossie? I thought they were English? Oh, Ossie,
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: but I could be wrong. Who were destined for? You? Could?
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: You could to study the Indians. All the other passengers
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: on the bus were Mexicans who spoke no English aka,
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: we can't interview them. Oswald introduced himself exhibited as American passport,
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: showing his showing his travel in the uss R. So wait, rob,
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: let me let me just stop here. You said he
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: applied for a new passport, Yeah, in June, right, so
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: he's now exposing his older passport that said I troubled
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: the Rosa.
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Allegedly, Oswalt said he had lived in Russia for two
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: years and had a hard time getting out. Oswalt recommended
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: that they stay at the Hotel Cuba. We went over
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: that and he stayed there several times. He said that
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: he was not staying there this time. Oswald acted friendly,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: made no comment concerning Russia, Cuba, or Communism. Oswald did
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: not indicate why he was in Mexico, where he was
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: going in Mexico, his occupation or future plans. Oswald was
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: last observed by the girls standing in the bus station
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: in Mexico City. Also what was traveling alone allegedly and
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: had one piece of luggage, a small sipper bag, whatever
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: that is. I don't know if I even want to
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: go over all this man, because it's kind of redundant.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: But you have miss Patricia, you have two middle names wrong,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: clar Rashly Winston from New Hampshire or New Hampshire. Avenue
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: La furnished the following information. Miss Winston and Pamela Musford
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: were both born in the Fiji Islands. The parents of
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: both of these girls represented a British company in Altho
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: in Fiji. They subs. They moved to Australia occupational therapist
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: and Mumford was a legal stenographer and blah blah, blah,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: blah blah.
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: Again, this doesn't really matter other than the fact that
- 1:32:18Speaker 4: they say they saw Oswald on this bus.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: Right, And again, how hard are they trying to put
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: Oswalt on this bus? Very hard, very hard, because look,
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna go I'm gonna go on here.
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: Now, this Osborne guy says that he was not on
- 1:32:42Speaker 4: a bus with Oswald, right, right, So they're trying to
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: establish that these girls were on the same bus as Osborne.
- 1:32:49Speaker 4: And they say that it was that they can identify
- 1:32:53Speaker 4: this guy as Oswald. You know, the way he talks,
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: what he said to them, YadA YadA, YadA.
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's kind of the same thing over and over,
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: and this is the same exhibit continued. Oswald made no
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: comment about Russia Cuba. He persuaded that the girls stay
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: at the Hotel Cuba Low, Mexico. During their conversation, Miss
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: Winston recalled that Oswald said he was from Dallas, Texas.
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: Oswald did not say why he was in Mexico. We
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: already know this. Then we go to Miss Pamela Mumford's statement,
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: and it's kind of more of the same redundancy, it continues.
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: After first talking with Oswald, I'm skipping to the end.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: Miss Mumford pointed out that she and Winston gave him
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: the nickname of Texas.
- 1:33:53Speaker 7: So Oswalt is now Texas. He's a text boy. On
- 1:33:59Speaker 7: the weekend of the assassa nation of President Kennedy, Miss
- 1:34:01Speaker 7: Mumford was with Miss Winston in a vacation. I guess
- 1:34:07Speaker 7: they were well traveled in Las Vegas. While there, they
- 1:34:11Speaker 7: observed on television pictures of the person who was arrested
- 1:34:15Speaker 7: for the assassination of the president. They also observed pictures
- 1:34:18Speaker 7: of Oswald on television while he was being taken out
- 1:34:21Speaker 7: of the jail, at which time he was killed by
- 1:34:24Speaker 7: Jack Ruby. Miss Mumford said as soon as she and
- 1:34:28Speaker 7: Winston observed these pictures, they said to both each other, oh,
- 1:34:32Speaker 7: there's Texas. Miss Mumford advised that she immediately identified the
- 1:34:39Speaker 7: television pictures of Oswalt.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: To be identical with the Lee Harvey Oswald, who had
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: been on the bus with her and Miss Winston from Monterey,
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: Mexico to Mexico City on September twenty sixth and twenty seventh.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: And I mean this is like nauseum. Here it goes on.
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: This is the next commission exhibit. I'm not going to
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: read it. It's still redundant. And it goes on and
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: it goes on and it goes on. So what are
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: we to make of these statements from these Aussi girls,
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: rob English Aussy girls.
- 1:35:38Speaker 4: Basically that they were used to verify that Oswald is
- 1:35:41Speaker 4: on their bus.
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: And went into great They went into so much detail
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: to make sure. And it's kind of the same. It
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: sounds the same the stories. I mean, you know, like,
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: oh there's Texas.
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: Yeah, very rehearsed, very told what to say.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: Maybe rehearsed perfect, perfect work. Thank you.
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: Again. It doesn't mean much in the bigger scheme of
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: things other than the fact that they were trying to
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: put Oswald on his bus to Mexico. And you know,
- 1:36:23Speaker 4: there was some very contradictory sightings and it wasn't just
- 1:36:27Speaker 4: the audio incident, Joe. I mean, Oswald was supposedly seen
- 1:36:35Speaker 4: in Dallas somewhere in the range of September twenty eighth
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: to the thirtieth at the Sports Drone rifle range, but
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: multiple witnesses later recanted their statements or contradicted each other.
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: The FBI concluded that this man was not Oswalt. In Irving, Texas,
- 1:36:54Speaker 4: in late September sixty three, Oswald is seen picking up
- 1:36:57Speaker 4: curtain rods at a furniture store FBI interviews. The status
- 1:37:02Speaker 4: of this was attributed to a mistaken identity. Store employees
- 1:37:06Speaker 4: could not agree on the date or description of the man. Alice,
- 1:37:12Speaker 4: Texas Alice, not Dallas Alice, like the waitress. September twenty eighth,
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: twenty ninth, Oswald is seen at the gas station arguing
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: about Cuba. Sources and FBI field report, witnesses gave inconsistent
- 1:37:26Speaker 4: physical descriptions of Oswald. No travel evidence supports Oswald being
- 1:37:31Speaker 4: in South Texas in a car. He's supposed to be
- 1:37:34Speaker 4: on a bus right in Alice, Texas. Then he's allegedly
- 1:37:38Speaker 4: seen in Houston September twenty ninth at a drive in
- 1:37:42Speaker 4: restaurant from FBI interviews. These are rejected. Witnesses later admitted uncertainty. Allegedly,
- 1:37:51Speaker 4: he was seen in the Rado, Texas September twenty sixth,
- 1:37:54Speaker 4: twenty seventh, crossing the border there and not at in
- 1:37:59Speaker 4: the way of Laredo UH. This is early FBI speculation
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: Mexican immigration records cited in the CIA members show Oswald
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: entered Mexico at Nuevo Laredo and not Laredo, So this
- 1:38:11Speaker 4: couldn't have been him. Joe at Laredo allegend right uh, Dallas, Texas,
- 1:38:17Speaker 4: October two, Oswald is seen at a downtown clothing store.
- 1:38:22Speaker 4: The store owner later said the man quote might not
- 1:38:24Speaker 4: have been Oswald, but it sure looked like him. So
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: you know, there's we have all these contradictory Oswald's sightings
- 1:38:33Speaker 4: in Texas at the same time he's supposed to be
- 1:38:35Speaker 4: on a bus to Mexico. This is why the Warrant
- 1:38:38Speaker 4: Commission went to such links to prove allegedly that he
- 1:38:42Speaker 4: was on a bus to Mexico. Right now, why is
- 1:38:47Speaker 4: this important? Because the narrative that came out right after
- 1:38:58Speaker 4: the assassination is that Oswald is painted as a pro
- 1:39:05Speaker 4: castro communist and this was why he wanted to kill Kennedy. Okay,
- 1:39:12Speaker 4: Now that narrative is quickly dropped when they figure out
- 1:39:17Speaker 4: the implications that whoa, this might be some bigger international
- 1:39:22Speaker 4: plot that could lead us into a nuclear World War
- 1:39:27Speaker 4: three type of situation. And you know, whether that was
- 1:39:35Speaker 4: part of the setup and part of the plan all
- 1:39:39Speaker 4: along is debatable, right, but we do know that narrative
- 1:39:50Speaker 4: quickly evaporated and he was soon painted as to, Oh,
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: don't pay any attention to that. He's just this crazy
- 1:40:00Speaker 4: loan nut person, right who you know, his marriage is bad,
- 1:40:04Speaker 4: and he was you know, couldn't keep a job, and
- 1:40:07Speaker 4: he's just this loaner. He didn't talk nobody. He's then
- 1:40:10Speaker 4: one day he decided to pick up a rifle and
- 1:40:12Speaker 4: kill Kennedy. We can't explain it. We don't really have
- 1:40:15Speaker 4: a motive, but he's just crazy. You know. Much easier
- 1:40:21Speaker 4: to support that narrative then a much more complicated one
- 1:40:28Speaker 4: when you're starting to bring in his communist countries and
- 1:40:31Speaker 4: Russia and Castro and throw into it all of the
- 1:40:37Speaker 4: behind the scenes things going on with the CIA and
- 1:40:40Speaker 4: the FBI monitoring in Oswald. And you've got yourself quite
- 1:40:45Speaker 4: a soup, right swim.
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: And yeah, you definitely do, and and and the Mexico
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: City operations too, right Uh oh yeah, yeah, I mean
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: I don't so. I just saw an interesting comment, Nick
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: from Detroit. Hey Nick. The two Australian women were interviewed
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: in a on a PBS Frontline Program about l A show.
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: It's on YouTube. Well, Rob, that might be have have
- 1:41:19Speaker 1: to be saved for members only at once day.
- 1:41:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll task you with finding it and clipping it.
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: Well, I'm interested because we always talk about you know,
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: you could read the documents they read kind of the same,
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: but when you hear someone talk, you could really kind
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: of gauge their genuineness if that's the word, you know,
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: So that that would be interesting. Plus we don't want
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: to get copyrights, right, but yeah, that's interesting. And we
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: also which we haven't gotten to the Warren Commission testimony
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: because only one of the women I believe was interviewed
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: for the Warren Commission, and that would.
- 1:42:12Speaker 4: Have been uh when I was living in l A.
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it's uh, it's hold on what was it? It's
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: it's uh, missus missus Mumford. So, and we still have
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: a lot of stuff to go on the timeline, all right,
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: I think we're I don't know how many pages, Like we're.
- 1:42:33Speaker 4: Like, yeah, well, the next show members only, next Wednesday,
- 1:42:36Speaker 4: We're gonna we're gonna get into more about what was
- 1:42:38Speaker 4: actually going on at the Cuban Consulate and the and
- 1:42:42Speaker 4: the and the Russian consulate or embassy, whatever you want
- 1:42:45Speaker 4: to call him. You know, it's Sylvia Duran and the
- 1:42:50Speaker 4: attempts by Oswald to do certain things. Well, we'll check
- 1:42:55Speaker 4: in with the Russian guys at the embassy and see
- 1:42:57Speaker 4: what they had to say about Oswald and see if
- 1:43:01Speaker 4: we can paint a better picture of what he was
- 1:43:02Speaker 4: actually doing in Mexico, because there's lots of stories about
- 1:43:07Speaker 4: Oswald in Mexico going to bullfights, going to twist parties,
- 1:43:11Speaker 4: banging Sylvia Duran a gun out and crying in front
- 1:43:15Speaker 4: of these Russian guys and uh, you know, supposedly meeting
- 1:43:20Speaker 4: up with people being paid large sums of money. Yeah,
- 1:43:26Speaker 4: go back to Alvarez or Lopez or something. Yeah, go
- 1:43:30Speaker 4: back to Alvarado's story. Yeah, it was seemingly uh eighty
- 1:43:36Speaker 4: six quite quickly.
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, by by Win Scott right.
- 1:43:42Speaker 4: Yeah, they're and you know, what was going on in
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: the Mexico City station. Like I said, when you add
- 1:43:48Speaker 4: when you take what Oswald was doing in Mexico City
- 1:43:50Speaker 4: and then you add in the intelligence aspects of it,
- 1:43:56Speaker 4: it just makes it even more murky. Yes, things going
- 1:43:59Speaker 4: on behind the scenes with Escabe you or whatever his
- 1:44:05Speaker 4: name is there, I think even consolate he would later
- 1:44:10Speaker 4: be called back to Cuba. Yeah, I don't know I
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: had turned him at some point.
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: They were trying to, weren't they. I don't think he did.
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: There's allegations that he may have been a double agent
- 1:44:24Speaker 4: kind of thing. And of course the things that Sylvia
- 1:44:29Speaker 4: Durant says about Oswald just don't make sense.
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: And the fact that she was detained by Mexican authorities
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: on the behest of the American government after after, right,
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: all this drama went down, and the assassination.
- 1:44:50Speaker 4: Allegedly the president of Mexico at the time was actually
- 1:44:54Speaker 4: a CIA asset. So it's not hard to get things
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: done in Mexico if that if that guy is in
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: your pocket, you know. But just just to reiterate for
- 1:45:06Speaker 4: folks who may have never seen, uh, this is allegedly
- 1:45:12Speaker 4: Oswald in Mexico according to the CIA's surveillance program. Right, yeah,
- 1:45:22Speaker 4: let me change the perspective of this guy a little bit,
- 1:45:24Speaker 4: so he looks kind of normal and not all stretched
- 1:45:27Speaker 4: out and ship. Today there's several angles and different pictures
- 1:45:36Speaker 4: of this guy. Obviously not Oswald, right, I mean obviously
- 1:45:42Speaker 4: not Oswald. Obvious, And this is the one, uh, that
- 1:45:50Speaker 4: the CIA says was coming out of the Russian embassy
- 1:45:56Speaker 4: in Mexico City. Now I have another one for you
- 1:46:00Speaker 4: that the Cuban government turned over from their own surveillance
- 1:46:06Speaker 4: files of the Cuban consulate in Mexico City, that they
- 1:46:10Speaker 4: said was Oswald, who actually matches the description of Sylvia Duran,
- 1:46:17Speaker 4: and that would be this.
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: Fellow the blonde hair right.
- 1:46:25Speaker 4: Remember, yeah, I call this guy this smoking man from
- 1:46:29Speaker 4: the X files. That's what he looks like to me.
- 1:46:33Speaker 4: Obviously not Oswald, obviously much older than Oswald. Yes, of
- 1:46:39Speaker 4: course we don't have a front view of this guy,
- 1:46:42Speaker 4: just a side view. But again, this was turned over
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: by the Cubans during the time of the HSCA, and
- 1:46:50Speaker 4: they said, this is the guy they caught on their
- 1:46:53Speaker 4: surveillance of their own consulate in Mexico City that they
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: idea entified as the Oswald character. Obviously light hair. This
- 1:47:06Speaker 4: is what Sylvia Duran claimed. And of course the allegedly
- 1:47:11Speaker 4: the guy broke or spoke very shitty Russian broken Russian. Uh,
- 1:47:20Speaker 4: I can't remember, was it do you speak decent Spanish
- 1:47:22Speaker 4: and poor Russian or was it poor Spanish and poor Russian?
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: It was poor Spanish.
- 1:47:31Speaker 4: Well, I know it was poor Russian because that's a
- 1:47:35Speaker 4: big dichotomy of him and the real Oswald who actually
- 1:47:39Speaker 4: lived in the Soviet Union for two and a half years.
- 1:47:41Speaker 4: His Russian would have been a lot more passable and better,
- 1:47:46Speaker 4: you know, wouldn't have been broken, like, you know, basic shit.
- 1:47:49Speaker 4: They're not having some intricate conversations. It would have been
- 1:47:52Speaker 4: a basic conversation that Oswald could have definitely handled. But
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: the Spanish part I'm not sure about. I can see
- 1:48:03Speaker 4: oswald Spanish being a little rusty or broken, but not
- 1:48:07Speaker 4: his Russian. Right, agree, Yeah, so this is very odd
- 1:48:13Speaker 4: this guy, right.
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, And Paula just messaged me and she said,
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: you missed my wisdom on the chat. Lho couldn't type.
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: He couldn't have typed that letter. Typing is much more
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: difficult than keyboarding. Well, do we know if it was
- 1:48:35Speaker 1: transcribed type of thing like that letter was transcribed by
- 1:48:41Speaker 1: Warm Commission or something someone.
- 1:48:43Speaker 4: You're talking about his letter to the Russian.
- 1:48:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we're going way back.
- 1:48:49Speaker 4: Yeah, let me pull it back up and we'll.
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't we don't want to ignore Paula. So
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: I did see them, but you know, the comments are
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: coming really quickly, so it's hard to keep up sometimes.
- 1:49:04Speaker 4: Yeah, and there's a lot of them, so thank you
- 1:49:05Speaker 4: guys for pumping them out.
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: But yeap, over fifty people in there live almost all night.
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: We love you, We appreciate your support. All right.
- 1:49:16Speaker 4: Uh blows up as much as I can here. Okay,
- 1:49:32Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure Ruth Payne had a typewriter. And it's
- 1:49:36Speaker 4: not like it's like it's not And look, it's not
- 1:49:39Speaker 4: like people can't type, Okay, I mean it's literally a
- 1:49:44Speaker 4: retard can type. I mean you're basically pressing the letter
- 1:49:50Speaker 4: on the keyboard. You know, it might have taken him
- 1:49:53Speaker 4: three hours to type this, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:49:57Speaker 4: But you can type, right, it's not rocket science. Anybody
- 1:50:01Speaker 4: can type.
- 1:50:03Speaker 1: Well, I'm just looking to see if there's any typos here,
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: and it's a little hard, but it seems like there's
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: a couple. Look at the last of the activities in
- 1:50:16Speaker 1: is Texas. In Texas, the FBI will again take in
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: asterisk interest in me I appeal or I engaged.
- 1:50:31Speaker 4: I mean there's obvious typos here. I mean, look at
- 1:50:34Speaker 4: the very top. Look how he spells Marina's middle name. Nicola, Venia.
- 1:50:38Speaker 4: He spells it and I c h I l a
- 1:50:43Speaker 4: y e v a niche Nicheva. Okay, he misspells his
- 1:50:51Speaker 4: own wife's middle name or or maiden name, and then
- 1:50:54Speaker 4: he even he misspells Washington d c over on the
- 1:50:57Speaker 4: right consular division, it's wash washing knock Q. I don't wait, wait,
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: where is that what part? Top bottom, middle, top right?
- 1:51:11Speaker 4: It's underlined right above the date Washington. He spells it wash.
- 1:51:18Speaker 4: I know that is Washington. Yeah, that's type right. It
- 1:51:22Speaker 4: just looks weird. Okay, yeah, something looks weird about it,
- 1:51:29Speaker 4: but I guess it is typewright washing.
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: But he goes, oh, had I been able to reach
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: the Soviet im in Avana as planned? This is the
- 1:51:39Speaker 1: November ninth letter, right, yeah, yeah, I mean I I
- 1:51:46Speaker 1: don't know. I mean with the dictionary you could end
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: a typewriter, you could pretty.
- 1:51:52Speaker 4: Yeah, anybody can type. It just might have taken a while.
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: I and my wife look at the bottom, and my wife.
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: It should be in theory like me and.
- 1:52:04Speaker 4: My wife, right, or my wife and I or.
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: My wife and I. Strangely, which seems like there's some
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: typo there or strongly the why is weird protested. These
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: looks like testies.
- 1:52:30Speaker 4: But again I think I think Payne had a typewriter
- 1:52:33Speaker 4: at her house and he probably could have done this
- 1:52:36Speaker 4: one on one of the weekends he visited and got
- 1:52:42Speaker 4: it done.
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I listen. Oswalt learned Russian pretty much on his own, allegedly.
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: I at least he was able to speak it, and
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: I mean he wrote it too. We have someone of
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: his writings who knows. I don't know what the implication
- 1:53:03Speaker 1: of that would be with like would he not have
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: typed that? I don't know.
- 1:53:11Speaker 4: And the truth shall make you free. Oswald, in my
- 1:53:13Speaker 4: non professional opinion, head dysgraphia, as does possibly Joe Borelli.
- 1:53:19Speaker 1: Yeah, dyslexi, dyslexia. I can't even say it. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: who knows. It's not too big of a deal. But
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: back to the Mexico City thing we're gonna ut.
- 1:53:44Speaker 4: I did Paula in high school when we actually had
- 1:53:46Speaker 4: to take a type in class. It's not that hard
- 1:53:50Speaker 4: to put the paper in the typewriter and turn the
- 1:53:53Speaker 4: knob and start typing. Like I said, it's not a
- 1:53:56Speaker 4: perfect document, but it's not like and possible thing for
- 1:54:00Speaker 4: Oswald to figure out how to type you know, a document, right,
- 1:54:07Speaker 4: just saying yeah, I'm not gonna rule it out as
- 1:54:10Speaker 4: he could something he definitely could not do.
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: Right, it's possible, right, the implication that it's not a
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: real document, which we have gone over back to Mexico City,
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: Robbed to kind of wrap it up. We're gonna maybe
- 1:54:28Speaker 1: go through some of the warm Commission testimony. I think
- 1:54:30Speaker 1: I'm members only will I'll find the PBS interviews of
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: the two ossy slash English women.
- 1:54:40Speaker 4: And in those two bitches, but whatever, I really dive
- 1:54:45Speaker 4: more into Sylvia Durant and the guys and the rest
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: of them.
- 1:54:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that and go over it.
- 1:54:51Speaker 4: But again it doesn't really mean much to me. It'd
- 1:54:53Speaker 4: been interesting to see them in person talking about it.
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: But yeah, well that's that's for remembers all. We're talking
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: next Friday with with all the Duran stuff and maybe
- 1:55:04Speaker 1: some Alvarado stuff and then maybe allegedly we'll give you
- 1:55:10Speaker 1: our thoughts on what actually happened, because to be honest,
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: I don't know yet. I don't know.
- 1:55:20Speaker 4: We will not commit one way or the other yet
- 1:55:23Speaker 4: through all of the evidence.
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: I'm riding the fence, Rob.
- 1:55:27Speaker 4: As you do.
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: Let's see if there's any more good comments. But yeah, man,
- 1:55:36Speaker 1: Mexico City, it's a it's a cluster fuck. And I
- 1:55:40Speaker 1: think that there was a lot of effort to try
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: to merge the official narrative into making Oswald go there.
- 1:55:53Speaker 4: I think that was the name of the show. When
- 1:55:54Speaker 4: I had come, I didn't talk about Mexico City. I
- 1:55:56Speaker 4: think I called the Mexico City clusterfuck. I'm pretty sure.
- 1:56:02Speaker 1: I mean it is, it's it's it's weird. It's everything
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: is just it's weird.
- 1:56:09Speaker 4: But I think it's that way because of reverse engineering,
- 1:56:16Speaker 4: if you will, you know, I think something happened, and
- 1:56:21Speaker 4: then when they when you're trying to reverse engineer something
- 1:56:25Speaker 4: and try to figure it out. You know, for example,
- 1:56:30Speaker 4: if you went and got it, if you found it,
- 1:56:32Speaker 4: you crashed UFO, and you want to figure out how
- 1:56:34Speaker 4: the thing works. We got to start tearing into part
- 1:56:37Speaker 4: and reverse engineering it, you know, starting with the controls
- 1:56:41Speaker 4: or the propulsion system and figure out, you know, how
- 1:56:44Speaker 4: does it do this, how does it do that? Well,
- 1:56:46Speaker 4: it's because of this you got to follow the wires
- 1:56:48Speaker 4: here or if there is any wires, who knows, you know.
- 1:56:51Speaker 4: But I think the Warrant Commission was tasked with figuring
- 1:56:56Speaker 4: something out. It was very complicated to do Number one,
- 1:57:03Speaker 4: and it's in direct contradiction to our intelligence agencies own
- 1:57:09Speaker 4: information that we really don't have any proof that Oswald
- 1:57:13Speaker 4: was ever in Mexico right as far as hard information
- 1:57:18Speaker 4: correct information. We got the wrong name on a hotel register,
- 1:57:23Speaker 4: we got the wrong name on on entrance documents and
- 1:57:28Speaker 4: bus manifests. We have the wrong people in the pictures
- 1:57:32Speaker 4: of the Russian and Cuban embassies and consoleates.
- 1:57:36Speaker 1: We have two Skuza ladies on the bus and some
- 1:57:38Speaker 1: guy with.
- 1:57:41Speaker 4: We have people on the phone.
- 1:57:44Speaker 1: Right like, nothing lines up with it, Which is why,
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: to weave back to the beginning, why this is one
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: of the most interesting and definitely confusing parts of this case.
- 1:57:58Speaker 4: I and it only gets it's more confusing when you have, Okay,
- 1:58:02Speaker 4: you have the Warren Commission trying to make things look
- 1:58:04Speaker 4: a certain way. Then you have the HSCA reinvestigating everything
- 1:58:10Speaker 4: and trying to figure out actually what happened. Like I said,
- 1:58:14Speaker 4: I would highly suggest check out the Lopez Report. Yes,
- 1:58:20Speaker 4: it's I believe, one hundred and thirty page document about
- 1:58:23Speaker 4: what they think happened with Oswald in Mexico City. Is
- 1:58:28Speaker 4: it the gospel, God's honest truth one way or the other? Know,
- 1:58:32Speaker 4: you know again, they're trying to reinvestigate something that happened
- 1:58:35Speaker 4: fifteen years prior. You know, the only records that they
- 1:58:40Speaker 4: have to go on are these weird probably some manufactured
- 1:58:45Speaker 4: records from the Warrant Commission era.
- 1:58:49Speaker 1: Interference from the intelligence agencies.
- 1:58:52Speaker 4: Yeah, not wanting them to know what they were doing.
- 1:58:55Speaker 4: At the same time. Oswald is down there. So it's
- 1:58:59Speaker 4: just like I said, it's it's a murky soup to
- 1:59:01Speaker 4: swim in. But we're we're trying to get there, and
- 1:59:05Speaker 4: maybe we will, maybe we won't.
- 1:59:07Speaker 1: Do Maybe we'll just throw our hands up as usual
- 1:59:10Speaker 1: and be like, well.
- 1:59:13Speaker 4: Well, I'm sure that that will be your take. Yeah
- 1:59:17Speaker 4: I will. I'm predicting I will have a definitive answer
- 1:59:21Speaker 4: whether or not I think Oswala went to Mexico or not.
- 1:59:23Speaker 4: When we're all done this ship.
- 1:59:25Speaker 1: I'm going to have at least a working theory. Rob Okay,
- 1:59:33Speaker 1: we'll see you don't believe me, that's okay.
- 1:59:37Speaker 4: Be working on you sitting on that fence with one
- 1:59:40Speaker 4: nut on either side, Yeah, food bar. But anyway, folks,
