- 1:08Speaker 1: Please.
- 1:08Speaker 3: It is great to be here today for those of
- 1:10Speaker 3: you that haven't joined us before welcome two hour Chambers.
- 1:14Speaker 3: It's a very simple show. I've watched a TV courtroom show,
- 1:17Speaker 3: and I'm gonna explain it to Dana, who has not
- 1:19Speaker 3: seen it. At the end of it, Dan's gonna try
- 1:20Speaker 3: to guess what that verdict is, and then we'll flip it,
- 1:23Speaker 3: reverse it, and do the same thing over again. It's
- 1:26Speaker 3: just that simple, Dano. I have a shortcase today.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Well little, you want to do a little A pair
- 1:32Speaker 2: of teeth, A pair of teeth, appetizing A pair of teeth?
- 1:36Speaker 1: You want me to go, I'll go first.
- 1:38Speaker 3: It's the People's Court, everybody, It's how funny is the
- 1:41Speaker 3: People's Court announcer?
- 1:44Speaker 1: This is good, It's my favorite.
- 1:46Speaker 3: It's so funny. Her name is Judge Chris. Her name
- 1:53Speaker 3: is judge.
- 1:54Speaker 1: It's not Mabeling. It is Judge Million. That's right.
- 2:01Speaker 3: And uh, Zulma Torres, Zolma z u l m a.
- 2:06Speaker 3: That's exactly right. Zolma Torres is suing far Had. I'm
- 2:11Speaker 3: not even gonna try the last name. His name is Farhad.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Uh.
- 2:14Speaker 3: She is suing him for five grand five five for
- 2:19Speaker 3: pain and suffering, just pain and suffering. We'll get to
- 2:24Speaker 3: Zoma lives in the Bronx. What's the one thing Dan
- 2:26Speaker 3: that you know about New York City when it comes
- 2:28Speaker 3: to owning a car.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Parking? Yes, it's tough. Yeah, tough to tough out there.
- 2:34Speaker 3: And if you own one and you live in a
- 2:36Speaker 3: place that doesn't provide parking, you probably gotta find one
- 2:40Speaker 3: of those garages that are around that you need to
- 2:44Speaker 3: park in long term. It's serious business. And so that
- 2:49Speaker 3: is exactly what Zolma does. Zoma has a car and
- 2:52Speaker 3: it has parked in one of those garages in the Bronx.
- 2:54Speaker 3: And this garage is obviously owned by Farhad and uh,
- 2:59Speaker 3: and she's been using this garage for a little over
- 3:02Speaker 3: a year, no problems. She comes and goes as she
- 3:04Speaker 3: needs to. This garage is two stories grow ground level,
- 3:11Speaker 3: down level. Got it in then that's what it says.
- 3:14Speaker 3: That's what they say. I don't know, they'll tell you.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Uh.
- 3:16Speaker 3: And so uh she parks on the bottom floor, floor
- 3:23Speaker 3: floor one if you will. And so one day she
- 3:28Speaker 3: goes to get her car and she can see that
- 3:30Speaker 3: people are in a frenzy in this garage. People are
- 3:34Speaker 3: running around like crazy, cars are zipping around, there's a
- 3:36Speaker 3: ton of water. And she goes down. She's heading down
- 3:41Speaker 3: to the ground floor or the floor one, I don't remember,
- 3:45Speaker 3: whatever below the ground and she has stopped by uh
- 3:49Speaker 3: for forad for I don't know, far a forad and
- 3:55Speaker 3: he tells her that there's been a flood, but he
- 3:59Speaker 3: moved her part of the second floor, and so she
- 4:02Speaker 3: gets there and she can tell that the inside of
- 4:05Speaker 3: her car is soaking wet, specifically the back. There's some
- 4:09Speaker 3: sitting water on the carpet, obviously, the bat the seat
- 4:13Speaker 3: itself is a bit on the squashy side.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It's not good. The grudge has to pay for this.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It's not good.
- 4:19Speaker 3: So he says, we had a flood caused by rain
- 4:26Speaker 3: overnight around midnight. Water starts to flow in and on
- 4:30Speaker 3: that bottom level.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And so.
- 4:35Speaker 3: He lives around ten minutes away, and so he runs
- 4:38Speaker 3: to the lot and tells the employees, we're gonna get
- 4:41Speaker 3: all of these cars down here up as fast as possess.
- 4:44Speaker 3: We see security footage of them moving quickly. They are
- 4:47Speaker 3: getting these cars are going as fast as possible.
- 4:50Speaker 1: The water is from what I can see, about halfway to.
- 4:57Speaker 3: The top of the tires, depending on where you are
- 5:02Speaker 3: on the on the on the ground there and so good,
- 5:05Speaker 3: good bit of ring, good bit of water. But obviously
- 5:08Speaker 3: you can still drive in it. There there's zipping around.
- 5:10Speaker 3: They're trying to do the best that they can. They
- 5:12Speaker 3: have but it's enough water to have gotten obviously inside
- 5:15Speaker 3: of some of the cars, including hers. And so he
- 5:20Speaker 3: says that this is an act of God. And so
- 5:25Speaker 3: there's nothing that we could have done to have prevented
- 5:28Speaker 3: this from.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Happening, garage and so rain is not an act of God.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Rain is an act of God.
- 5:33Speaker 1: No, it's not. It's an act of god.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Something you play on regularly in New York City. It
- 5:37Speaker 2: is an act of God.
- 5:38Speaker 3: A flood is a big torrential rainfall that causes a
- 5:42Speaker 3: surplus of water to come rushing in is an act
- 5:46Speaker 3: of God, according to them. And so they say, there's
- 5:49Speaker 3: nothing that we could have done. We did everything that
- 5:51Speaker 3: we could. In fact, we came in and we moved
- 5:52Speaker 3: the cars as fast as possible once we realized that
- 5:54Speaker 3: this was.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Happening, She says, you know, she gets in the cars.
- 5:59Speaker 3: She's obviously not happy about what what what has happened,
- 6:02Speaker 3: but she takes off and as she's driving around town,
- 6:06Speaker 3: she begins to realize that they're she hears water under
- 6:10Speaker 3: the car, kind of like sloshing around, and she realizes
- 6:14Speaker 3: that this is not good. So this is when she
- 6:15Speaker 3: gets her insurance involved. Geico, you heard about them. That's
- 6:21Speaker 3: what I've heard. That's what I've heard. I have not
- 6:23Speaker 3: actually put it in a test. I'm a state farm.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I'm a state farm.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yeah. I think we all well, good neighbors. Everybody, actually,
- 6:30Speaker 2: I think so, right, like everybody. I think I know
- 6:33Speaker 2: one a flag that are like Progresses United Services, But
- 6:38Speaker 2: everybody just has state form, I think so.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I think so that's the way it works. And everybody
- 6:41Speaker 1: knows somebody who's a state farm repp. That's right. Like
- 6:44Speaker 1: I got a buddy, and I'm like, yeah, man, I don't.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Know anyone that doesn't have I literally, I'm sure I
- 6:49Speaker 2: know people that don't state farm. But anyone I've ever
- 6:51Speaker 2: talked to about insurance has State farm.
- 6:53Speaker 3: So Geico says, car is a total loss and they
- 6:58Speaker 3: give her thirteen thousand dollars for the car or the car?
- 7:03Speaker 1: So why is she suing? Yeah, I'd be wondering.
- 7:06Speaker 3: She says, it sucks. It was not fun. This was
- 7:09Speaker 3: not a fun experience. She's suing for pain and suffering.
- 7:12Speaker 3: She says that I pay them to keep my car secure.
- 7:16Speaker 3: They did not uphold their end of the agreement, so
- 7:20Speaker 3: I'm suing for pain and suffering. Judge says, how is
- 7:22Speaker 3: this pain and suffering? She says, they didn't keep my
- 7:24Speaker 3: car safe. She is ready to rule.
- 7:27Speaker 1: She's not gonna get any money.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I think there's a way she could have gotten money
- 7:31Speaker 2: had she been better about what she was suing for
- 7:34Speaker 2: and how much she was suing for. If you took
- 7:36Speaker 2: like how much money it costs to rent that in
- 7:39Speaker 2: that garage for X number of you know whatever, or
- 7:43Speaker 2: like maybe what the problem was with having to go
- 7:45Speaker 2: and buy a new car and how it wasn't I
- 7:47Speaker 2: think there's a way she could have gotten money here.
- 7:50Speaker 1: This isn't it no money for you?
- 7:53Speaker 3: Uh, you're right. The judge says, this is an act
- 7:55Speaker 3: of God. So she disagrees with you straight up and
- 8:00Speaker 3: that she's thrown it out. Not getting any money. You
- 8:02Speaker 3: already got the thirteen thousand dollars insurance came through.
- 8:05Speaker 1: You should be had.
- 8:06Speaker 3: That's that's what insurance is for for this very purpose.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Zolma says, unbelievable.
- 8:12Speaker 1: But you tried to soothe for the max pain and something.
- 8:15Speaker 3: You're not gonna get that money, she says, unbelievable, And
- 8:17Speaker 3: Judge has is it really unbelievable? Really, She's like yes,
- 8:21Speaker 3: she's very upset about this. She goes out and she
- 8:23Speaker 3: does a little interview with the interview room with that
- 8:25Speaker 3: guy who looks like he's been dead for years, and
- 8:28Speaker 3: this guy is just ragged on her.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He's just like, it's not you. You weren't gonna get
- 8:32Speaker 1: any money. How about that? It's crazy? So uh that dude.
- 8:36Speaker 1: The dude's like, I.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Was never concerned about this case. Never concerned about this case.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Uh, you have it.
- 8:43Speaker 3: So I was an interesting case that I've never really
- 8:49Speaker 3: thought much of before. The parking garage is flooding. I
- 8:52Speaker 3: know that that happened, So like, who's responsible? Uh? Basically,
- 8:56Speaker 3: hopefully your insurance is good because if it's just that's
- 9:00Speaker 3: not cost from like a pipe bursting technically an act
- 9:03Speaker 3: of God, apparently, Dana, all right, I'm gonna go to Mathis.
- 9:06Speaker 3: And I know I go to matthis often, I know,
- 9:08Speaker 3: but I went to some wheelhouse Mathis. This is like
- 9:11Speaker 3: twenty eleven twelve matths spot, this is matthis, this is
- 9:14Speaker 3: prime Mathis Prime. Lisa Abraham is suing her ex boyfriend
- 9:21Speaker 3: for two thousand and seven hundred and forty dollars of
- 9:23Speaker 3: medical bills. Medical bills that she receipts for. His name
- 9:28Speaker 3: is Chris Jackson. I'm sorry, Chris Jackson. Poison.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Oh my dad is in. I want some money from
- 9:39Speaker 1: a you? Okay it was? It was Italian? From are you?
- 9:44Speaker 2: Everyone knows everyone's favorite Italian rappers out Andre three thousand,
- 9:49Speaker 2: Andre three thousand.
- 9:50Speaker 4: It's the big balls, big boy. I like the way
- 9:56Speaker 4: you move your roses, like, all, let's shake it. I
- 10:02Speaker 4: got a hold of pig. It's good, you know what.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I think there will come a time well we're not
- 10:13Speaker 2: gonna be allowed to do those accents, and.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Probably maybe for the better. I don't know, but I
- 10:18Speaker 1: think it's always it's always get it.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Lisa starts and says it started in two thousand and nine,
- 10:25Speaker 2: we met through a mutual friend. Started dating in twenty ten,
- 10:28Speaker 2: and she's like, Chris is a horrible problem with trip clubs,
- 10:31Speaker 2: which I found out a few months into our relationship.
- 10:34Speaker 2: He goes all the time, matthis pops in and goes
- 10:36Speaker 2: does he have enough money to make it rain? She says,
- 10:39Speaker 2: I guess. So Chris is like, nah, I don't know
- 10:42Speaker 2: about all that.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Nah, you're on her. I just enjoy the show. I
- 10:45Speaker 1: don't make it rain.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Mathis he enjoys the show, but he doesn't give any money.
- 10:51Speaker 2: You know, you know, you don't know what make it rain.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It's when you throw money in the air, that's right. Yeah,
- 10:54Speaker 2: but so making it rain. So Mathis didn't explain how
- 10:57Speaker 2: much do you need in order to be able to
- 10:59Speaker 2: make it rain, like of dollars? Oh really okay?
- 11:01Speaker 3: Yeah, so Mathis is, like my understanding was you go
- 11:05Speaker 3: in there, you get all ones you can you can
- 11:09Speaker 3: make it rain with twundred dollars.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know. No making it rain.
- 11:15Speaker 2: From what I understand, I once again not a lot
- 11:18Speaker 2: of experience here. Now Mathis explains that these guys, that
- 11:21Speaker 2: these big ballers go in and they'll spend thousands of
- 11:23Speaker 2: dollars making it rain, like thousands of dollars, like as
- 11:27Speaker 2: for an entire dance boom, or they use twenties or
- 11:31Speaker 2: fifties or hundreds or whatever, and apparently that can cause
- 11:33Speaker 2: beef and like like if I'm a big baller and
- 11:36Speaker 2: I did ten thousand dollars made it rain, and you
- 11:38Speaker 2: made it rain with fifteen grand.
- 11:39Speaker 1: That's the reason for me to be mad at you.
- 11:41Speaker 3: So people that make it rain with singles are little dankers.
- 11:45Speaker 1: You do it with big bills. That's the way.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I'm so Mathis has done this before, and Mathis is like,
- 11:51Speaker 2: he explains this to the bailiff, and he's like, so
- 11:53Speaker 2: if I did ten thousand and you do fifteen thousand,
- 11:55Speaker 2: like I would be mad at you.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And Bailet's like, well, you you're always gonna have more
- 11:59Speaker 1: money than I am.
- 12:00Speaker 2: He does some bit, so he's like, so you don't
- 12:03Speaker 2: make it ring, and Chris then says, nah, I make
- 12:06Speaker 2: it drizzle a little bit. I didn't like a I
- 12:08Speaker 2: don't like that. None of the way he say it,
- 12:11Speaker 2: none of us like not good. In the context, Lisa
- 12:14Speaker 2: then says, the problem is not that he goes to
- 12:16Speaker 2: the strip club, is that he takes strippers home, and
- 12:19Speaker 2: Chris is like, you're on her, I live with her.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I do not take any strippers home. That's crazy. Matthis
- 12:27Speaker 2: is like, well they don't go home with drizzlers, which
- 12:31Speaker 2: is just prime matheless.
- 12:33Speaker 1: It's just primematheless, right.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Lisa can I just say this, so I don't understand
- 12:40Speaker 3: really what we're doing here. There's a woman who is
- 12:44Speaker 3: with a man and she found out that this man
- 12:47Speaker 3: goes to the strip club. This is something that she
- 12:49Speaker 3: does not like.
- 12:50Speaker 1: She's okay, she's okay with the goal in the strip club,
- 12:52Speaker 1: it's okay.
- 12:52Speaker 3: So she's fine with the drizzle, she's not okay with
- 12:55Speaker 3: the bringing back okay, And but they disagree on whether
- 12:59Speaker 3: or not that's happening at all.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Least it's like I got a voicemail at five thirty
- 13:03Speaker 2: am one morning when he was out at the strip club. Sure,
- 13:08Speaker 2: and this the voicemail is just two people having sex.
- 13:13Speaker 2: It's just like there's just moaning and things banging around
- 13:17Speaker 2: and and it's.
- 13:19Speaker 1: A it's a butt dial of sex. So yes, so
- 13:22Speaker 1: then so then Maths is like, was that you and
- 13:27Speaker 1: he goes? Wasn't me?
- 13:28Speaker 2: It wasn't.
- 13:30Speaker 1: It wasn't me coming on the voicemail, It wasn't me.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Does Mathis do that? Bet? No, he doesn't. He doesn't
- 13:37Speaker 1: do it, which is crazy.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Lisa is like, he has his friend call me and says,
- 13:42Speaker 2: I don't know how the voicemail got to you. It
- 13:44Speaker 2: was really me having sex. Chris was drunk and passed
- 13:47Speaker 2: out on the bed the other bed in the hotel
- 13:50Speaker 2: room as we were having sex. And Chris is like
- 13:56Speaker 2: and and and Lisa's like I even was willing to
- 13:59Speaker 2: believe him, and I took him back.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Mathews, I'm gonna be honest with you, man, like, if ever,
- 14:04Speaker 3: if ever we were in this situation where like, I'm
- 14:08Speaker 3: passed out.
- 14:09Speaker 1: And want you to have sex in the bed to
- 14:12Speaker 1: the one.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I don't care if I'm a sleeper, No, like just
- 14:16Speaker 2: common courtesy, that's right, Yes, it was ever. Of course,
- 14:20Speaker 2: we would never if we are in that situation, like
- 14:24Speaker 2: just like wake me up and be like, bro, get lost,
- 14:26Speaker 2: and then I would actually talk to you, and it'd
- 14:27Speaker 2: be like, don't do that, don't.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Flip it. Same thing. Chris is like, it wasn't me.
- 14:33Speaker 2: It was my phone, but your honor, I was passed
- 14:37Speaker 2: out on the bed of sleeping in my clothes. It
- 14:40Speaker 2: pocketed out her when I rolled over, and I just
- 14:44Speaker 2: happened to record all that.
- 14:45Speaker 1: But it was not me, your honor, it wasn't Mathis.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Feels like this is his break to talk about his
- 14:53Speaker 2: history at the strip. Oh no, he says, he's only
- 14:56Speaker 2: been a few times because when he would go, he
- 14:57Speaker 2: felt like a trick. He felt like he was the
- 15:01Speaker 2: one that was getting fooled. It just didn't feel right
- 15:04Speaker 2: to him. It's not my thing. He gets full graphic
- 15:07Speaker 2: than that, but that is that is like he was
- 15:08Speaker 2: getting fooled, Like felt like a trick. Do you know
- 15:11Speaker 2: what a trick?
- 15:12Speaker 1: I don't know what that means.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Okay, look it up later for the family show. Uh
- 15:16Speaker 2: so it's a pro it's a procethet. So he felt
- 15:20Speaker 2: like he felt like the trick.
- 15:21Speaker 3: That was my understanding, But I didn't under like, how
- 15:23Speaker 3: would he if he goes to the strip club?
- 15:25Speaker 2: How would he feel like the prostesgut? He was like,
- 15:27Speaker 2: it's a long description that he gives, but that's the short. Okay, sorry,
- 15:31Speaker 2: I do know.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I do know.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I've heard the term obviously, and I just didn't understand
- 15:37Speaker 3: it from what he's saying.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but mathis is basically like, I just don't know
- 15:40Speaker 2: if I buy this, And he's like, you're on her.
- 15:42Speaker 2: We got drunk. I'm not trying to take somebody from
- 15:45Speaker 2: home from the trip club. My boys this birthday, he
- 15:49Speaker 2: took this guy, this girl home from the trip club,
- 15:51Speaker 2: and we had a double bedroom. And I'm and then
- 15:54Speaker 2: he says this line which made me really pull for Chris.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Here he goes, I'm working with Inspector Gadget. I'm working
- 16:04Speaker 2: with Inspector Gadget.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Over here.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I can't receive a phone call without Lisa answering the phone, like,
- 16:11Speaker 2: she didn't give me any space. And Lisa's like, who
- 16:14Speaker 2: started that? You go through all my bills at my house.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Chris is like, so what. I can't even use my
- 16:19Speaker 2: own phone. I looked through the phone bill to see
- 16:21Speaker 2: who she's calling. Yeah, I do that, but I don't
- 16:23Speaker 2: answer her phone. What are we sewing for? We'll get there, okay,
- 16:27Speaker 2: So matthis is with you. He's like, what are we
- 16:29Speaker 2: suing for? Lisa's like, he poisoned me? He said he
- 16:32Speaker 2: oh boy, he said he didn't poison me, but he
- 16:34Speaker 2: did poison me. Uh, he didn't, but he did. His
- 16:37Speaker 2: birthday is in September. He went one with friends. When
- 16:40Speaker 2: he came back from his birthday, a bunch of his
- 16:42Speaker 2: stuff was missing. PS three Nintendo we the Classics of
- 16:46Speaker 2: twenty eleven watches A bunch of stuff. He accused me
- 16:50Speaker 2: of stealing his This.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Guy has a PS three.
- 16:53Speaker 3: We watch watches and he wasn't making it round. I
- 16:56Speaker 3: find that hard to believe. No kidding, drizzled, that's a
- 16:59Speaker 3: big battler.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh. And she's like, he accused me of stealing
- 17:04Speaker 1: his stuff.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I would never steal his like, I wouldn't do it,
- 17:07Speaker 2: like I wouldn't steal his stuff.
- 17:08Speaker 1: But he blamed me.
- 17:09Speaker 2: He didn't do any research, he didn't try to find
- 17:11Speaker 2: he didn't he didn't file a police report, nothing.
- 17:13Speaker 1: He kicks me out. I was living with him.
- 17:15Speaker 2: He kicks me out on the street. Two weeks later,
- 17:18Speaker 2: he calls me, he goes, can I.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Just really quickly? Sure? So he goes on a trip.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Yeah, he comes back his PS three, his Wii, and
- 17:26Speaker 3: his washes are stolen.
- 17:27Speaker 1: That's right.
- 17:28Speaker 2: She lives there, lives there, and he accuses her. Yeah,
- 17:33Speaker 2: got it. So two weeks later he calls me and
- 17:35Speaker 2: he goes. I talked to my neighbors. They said there
- 17:38Speaker 2: was somebody around the house. You were gone. They clearly
- 17:41Speaker 2: saw somebody else leave the house. It wasn't you. I'm
- 17:44Speaker 2: really really sorry. It wasn't you. You didn't steal my
- 17:47Speaker 2: PS three, It wasn't you. Uh, let me take you
- 17:50Speaker 2: out to eat. Let me, let me, let me take
- 17:52Speaker 2: you shopping like I'm really really no, I don't think so.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Uh So they go out to eat. They get it
- 17:59Speaker 2: to go. She's like, you got a salad. I got
- 18:01Speaker 2: a to go box for the salad. We get home,
- 18:04Speaker 2: Brian Harrold what she wants the rest of the meal. Later,
- 18:09Speaker 2: he goes into the kitchen. She's like, I'm in the
- 18:11Speaker 2: living room. He goes in the kitchen. He takes it
- 18:12Speaker 2: out of the to go pox and puts it on
- 18:14Speaker 2: a glass plate, a separate plate. I don't know what
- 18:16Speaker 2: he's doing in there when he brings it to me,
- 18:18Speaker 2: brings me the glass plate with my salad on it.
- 18:20Speaker 2: So the next morning I wake up my eyes swollen shut,
- 18:24Speaker 2: My eyes swollen shut. We see pictures. The pictures are crazy.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Her eye is swollen shut. She said, I went to
- 18:30Speaker 2: the doctor. Doctor said I had an allergic reaction. They
- 18:35Speaker 2: She's like, I'm allergic to peanuts. He knows I'm allergic
- 18:37Speaker 2: to peanuts. The doctor said that's the only thing it
- 18:40Speaker 2: could be your on her I ordered a grilled chicken
- 18:43Speaker 2: salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. No peanuts should.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Be near that dish.
- 18:47Speaker 2: What am I supposed to believe matthis goes? You knew
- 18:49Speaker 2: she was allergic to nuts. Chris is like, yes, your honor,
- 18:51Speaker 2: I would never Why would I poison her? I would
- 18:55Speaker 2: never do that. He's like, peanuts aren't so something that you?
- 19:01Speaker 2: I love that you said, what is she Brian Harold
- 19:03Speaker 2: before that, which is great.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Peanuts aren't like you would notice peanuts that aren't supposed to.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Be power if you're very allergic, Like, oh, youth powder, Yeah,
- 19:14Speaker 2: you know that's flavor, right you think?
- 19:17Speaker 3: So?
- 19:17Speaker 1: I don't know, Okay, I don't know. Uh, I'm not
- 19:20Speaker 1: saying he.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Didn't do it. Was like, so you think he was
- 19:22Speaker 2: jealous enough to just want to kill you? That's crazy
- 19:24Speaker 2: because you're you're your tongue could have swollen up, you
- 19:26Speaker 2: could have died. She's like, you're on her.
- 19:28Speaker 1: He's spiteful.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I have doctor Bill's I just like he clearly there's
- 19:32Speaker 2: no other explanation he did. And he's like, Chris, what'd
- 19:35Speaker 2: you you know? When she told you what was going on?
- 19:38Speaker 2: He was like, when I first heard, I thought it
- 19:39Speaker 2: was a joke, And when I saw it, I still
- 19:41Speaker 2: thought she was pranking me. When she said that I
- 19:44Speaker 2: poisoned her. I still thought it was a prank. This
- 19:46Speaker 2: could have literally happened anywhere. She could have brushed up
- 19:48Speaker 2: against some peanuts or could have been like, could have happened.
- 19:51Speaker 3: I'm always brushing up against peanuts. Man, it's crazy. Walk
- 19:54Speaker 3: around You're like, oh man, that's crazy.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Right. So she was admitted to the hospital. She said
- 19:59Speaker 2: she was admitted the hot that night. Matths like, how
- 20:01Speaker 2: many times you go? She's like three times, and he's like,
- 20:03Speaker 2: I got papers from more than that. She was like, well,
- 20:05Speaker 2: I was admitted and then I went three more times,
- 20:06Speaker 2: four or five times, and then matthis stops mid read
- 20:10Speaker 2: and he goes, I'll be right back.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I gotta check on some things, and he walks out
- 20:14Speaker 1: of the courtroom.
- 20:15Speaker 3: So hold on just really quickly. So she went obviously
- 20:18Speaker 3: she was poisoned. She goes to the hospital and then
- 20:21Speaker 3: three or four times after being released, she check ups.
- 20:24Speaker 2: That's what she said. She had to get check ups. Okay,
- 20:26Speaker 2: So he looks over this and he goes.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I gotta go. I got I'll be right back. So
- 20:32Speaker 1: he walks out of the courtroom. Wow.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Lisa and Chris go back and forth while he's going.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Mathis comes back and is ready to rule, Oh my gosh,
- 20:41Speaker 2: twenty seven forty in medical bills. Why.
- 20:44Speaker 3: I think this is a tough one to prove. I
- 20:47Speaker 3: think it's a tough one to prove that, uh, he
- 20:50Speaker 3: poisoned her. I think there's a lot, a lot of
- 20:54Speaker 3: other things that could have happened. You know, peanuts are everywhere,
- 21:00Speaker 3: as peas are all over the place. It could have
- 21:02Speaker 3: been maybe even uh, maybe even there was a wine
- 21:06Speaker 3: she had that maybe had peanuts in it that she
- 21:08Speaker 3: hadn't know about, Like you know, I don't know, I
- 21:09Speaker 3: don't want.
- 21:14Speaker 2: That's it Pino peanut wine or pean Peter Gregio, Right,
- 21:20Speaker 2: that's it penaguire.
- 21:23Speaker 1: So it could have been one of those situations.
- 21:27Speaker 2: That's really funny, And I like I it could have been.
- 21:32Speaker 1: There's so many things you could have said.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Could have been wine, could have been classic, the squeeze
- 21:41Speaker 2: him down, it.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Could have been it could have been a lot of stuff.
- 21:45Speaker 3: And so I think it's a tough thing to prove.
- 21:46Speaker 3: I don't know what he could have been checking on Mathis,
- 21:52Speaker 3: so I'm intrigued by it. I think there's something about
- 21:55Speaker 3: the check up follow ups that didn't sit well with
- 21:58Speaker 3: Mathis it also didn't sit well with me.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I'm not gonna give her anybody. Yeah, that's exactly right.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Brand he goes, and he goes, you know, I saw
- 22:05Speaker 2: these different dates on here, and he goes, y'all think
- 22:07Speaker 2: y'all can out slick the judge. Well, I went and
- 22:10Speaker 2: made a call to the doctor that that uh his
- 22:14Speaker 2: name is on all of these and the doctor you
- 22:17Speaker 2: were treated by is an obgyn. And she immediately her
- 22:23Speaker 2: her in every like clearly she just was lying, trying
- 22:26Speaker 2: to get money, like her and you know in mathis
- 22:28Speaker 2: they're all real, like everything's real.
- 22:30Speaker 1: No actress and her kind of like her entire.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Countenance just drops to villain, like just full drops to villain.
- 22:38Speaker 2: And he's like, you can't outslict the judge. You were
- 22:41Speaker 2: treated by an obgyn, and you try to make it
- 22:43Speaker 2: look like because this doesn't say anything about allergy, you
- 22:46Speaker 2: try to make it look like it was poisoned. You
- 22:49Speaker 2: can take that game back to New York with you.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Who sends you out of the court? Boy judgment favorite defendive.
- 22:54Speaker 1: That's bold.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's bold to come on out here and try
- 22:59Speaker 2: to say someone poisoned you.
- 23:02Speaker 1: That's wild. Yeah, that's wild. Yeah, we did she do
- 23:05Speaker 1: it to herself? I would assume that that probably picture
- 23:08Speaker 1: was not from it was from a different time.
- 23:13Speaker 3: It's nuts up nuts out there next.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Yell Goble gals, a bramble jamp, Brain and brain. What's up?
