- 1:20Kathie: Remaining calm and understanding something called pendulums.
- 1:25Kathie: Don't worry, it's not as complicated as it sounds.
- 1:28Kathie: Pendulums are just thought structures that everyone has, and they can influence our thoughts and actions without us even realizing it.
- 1:35Kathie: But here's the catch.
- 1:37Kathie: These pendulums want our energy.
- 1:39Kathie: They thrive on our worry, fear, and frustration, making it even more important for us to understand them.
- 1:47Kathie: So buckle up.
- 1:49Kathie: We're about to embark on a journey to learn how to remain calm, understand pendulums, and reclaim our energy.
- 1:56Kathie: Together we'll discover the power of choosing our reactions consciously and breaking free from the automatic responses that hold us back.
- 2:05Kathie: Are you ready to unlock your inner strength?
- 2:08Kathie: Great.
- 2:09Kathie: Let's go.
- 2:10Kathie: Picture this, you're going about your day when suddenly someone does or says something that pushes your buttons.
- 2:16Kathie: Without even thinking you find yourself reacting automatically, almost like a reflex.
- 2:22Kathie: Sound familiar?
- 2:24Kathie: Do you wanna learn more about controlling the pendulums in your life and understanding pendulums Well, I have got you covered.
- 2:30Kathie: I've got the free download at kathieowen.com/reality-transurfing.
- 2:37Kathie: I sure hope to see you there.
- 2:40Kathie: Well, this automatic reaction is something we all experience.
- 2:45Kathie: You see, when we encourage provocation, our brains are wired to respond quickly.
- 2:50Kathie: It's a survival instinct that kicks in, but sometimes it can work against us.
- 2:55Kathie: Instead of taking a moment to pause and think, we immediately give in to worry, fear, and frustration.
- 3:01Kathie: These emotions take control, and before we know it, we're expressing dissatisfaction and anger.
- 3:08Kathie: It's like being on autopilot where our emotions take over and we feel like we have no control.
- 3:13Kathie: But here's the thing.
- 3:15Kathie: We do have control.
- 3:17Kathie: We have the power to break free from this cycle and regain control of our reactions.
- 3:22Kathie: So how can we do that?
- 3:24Kathie: Well, the first step is awareness.
- 3:27Kathie: By recognizing that we often react automatically, we can start to interrupt this cycle.
- 3:32Kathie: It's like shining a light on our automatic responses, bringing them into our conscious awareness.
- 3:38Kathie: Once we're aware of our habitual reactions, we can begin to make a change.
- 3:44Kathie: The next step is to cultivate a sense of calm.
- 3:48Kathie: When we remain calm in the face of provocation and anger and reactivity, we break the pattern of the automatic reaction.
- 3:58Kathie: It's like creating a buffer zone between the external stimulus and our response.
- 4:03Kathie: Instead of immediately jumping to worry, fear, or frustration, we take a moment to breathe, assess the situation, and choose how we want to respond.
- 4:13Kathie: Remaining calm does not mean ignoring or suppressing our emotions.
- 4:18Kathie: In fact, it means acknowledging them but not letting them control us.
- 4:23Kathie: It means pausing and giving ourselves the space to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively.
- 4:30Kathie: By breaking the automatic reaction cycle and cultivating calmness, we gain a sense of empowerment.
- 4:37Kathie: We become the masters of our emotions and responses rather than being at the mercy of external circumstances.
- 4:45Kathie: It's a powerful shift that can transform how we navigate challenges, situations, and relationships.
- 4:53Kathie: So let's break free from the chains of automatic reactions.
- 4:57Kathie: Let's embrace awareness and cultivate calmness.
- 5:00Kathie: In doing so, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities where we can choose our responses consciously and create positive change in our lives.
- 5:10Kathie: Are you ready to take control?
- 5:12Kathie: All right.
- 5:13Kathie: This is the end of episode one, in the next episode we're gonna talk about the power of remaining calm in a stressful situation and more about pendulums.
