Episode 248 - DARK MUSIC DAYS
Today, RÚV English Radio previews this week and weekend's Dark Music Days festival. The Icelandic Composers Society created the Dark Music Days festival back in 1980. It debuts new and often experimental works that seek to reflect the ever-growing diversity and creativity of contemporary music. The five-day event brings a feast of new music to Iceland's capital, and to hear more, Darren met with festival manager Gunnhildur Einarsdóttir - also one of this week's performers.
